Super product. Everything was perfect and very easy to use!!!

Same as other reviews. Similar to what other reviewers have reported I also had an unpleasant issue using the app the device. My finger was stinging, and I was unable to sleep because of the stinging. I wore the device for six hours and could not wait to take it off. After removing the finger piece I found a welt that almost looks like a burn blister right underneath the fingernail.

Easy and intuitive. Read the reviews and was thinking it was going to be a challenge. Everything was very easy to set up and intuitive to use. Worked perfectly.

Terrible app - doesn’t function. This might be one of the worst designed apps available on the App Store. It is continuously getting stuck - it doesn’t have any options for pausing processes, if you exit the app once, it resets all progress made. This company responsible for this app did a great job scamming a lot of medical institutions.

Seamless sleep test. After seeing 2.5 stars reviews, I was expecting the sleep test to be a pain to set up. On the contrary, it couldn’t have been simpler and more flawless. No fiddling required, clear instructions, seamless pairing, immediate text confirmation after ending test that the results will be reviewed in 24-48 hrs.

Works great. Works great, as a person on the larger end of healthy the system fit comfortably. The app’s design is configured to cater to obese people with limited knowledge of how to use a smartphone. The VA should make a version for healthy sized, technically competent users. The design sacrifices usability to cater to the stereo typical obese demographic (dumb/lazy).

Garbage app, garbage product.. Deserves zero stars. Watch pat itself was covered in dead skin cells and someone else’s hair when it arrived, which is absolutely disgusting. I didn’t even want to put it on because it didn’t look clean. What good is a sleep monitor that is so badly designed it hurts you and keeps you from sleeping? The thing broke before I fell asleep. The finger cuff was physically painful to wear, preventing sleep. It left lacerations on my cuticle, despite following the instructions to a t. I wanted a sleep study and I got a scam product that didn’t send any sleep data to my doctor because it prevented me from sleeping and broke. Terrible. The app is not user friendly. The finger monitor was so uncomfortable I did not get any sleep. Since I did not get any sleep, I wanted to stop the study from being done and retry another night. There is no option for that. When I tried the following night, my device was a one time use so now I’m going to have to call my doctor and see what my next steps are. What a pain!

Privacy Alert - Concerns. I had to complete a sleep study and was told to use this device. This is great I thought, so convenient, until I discovered the app wants access to photos, media and files on my device. Why the heck does it need access to these items to conduct a sleep study? It’s ridiculous to think the company needs this info to conduct an analysis of one’s sleep cycle. It’s a complete invasion of one’s privacy. Considering it’s very similar to Fitbit, minus the heart monitor and ability to send info to doc, and they do not have access to said files, again, why does WatchPAT need this info? And how long do they retain said info?

One star is too high!!!. Absolute garbage!!!! I picked the kit up followed directions!!! Makes sense right!! Said I didn’t register!! Well the notes I gave have a pin but never asked to input it!!!?? 25 minutes on hold!! And then costumer service wants me to power cycle my phone!!! Promises to call back!!! No call … what a waste of time!!!!!

Works like it should. This has been a bank saver and what I mean by that is I didn’t have to go spend 1,000 to 5,000 taking the sleep test. I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews, far as their finger being sore (unbearably). As a 6 foot 300 pound man with bigger than normal fingers, I did not have the same experience as most. Am not telling you your finger won’t be a little sore when you take it off, it was sore for maybe 45 minutes but it was nothing to get on here and write a bad review about it. After taking the test, my results were in and I had an appointment scheduled the next day to talk with someone. If you or someone that can follow directions fairly well this test is for you. If you take it upon yourself thinking you know best with every situation, you should probably go and see a specialist. Best thousand of dollars I’ve saved yet!

SCAM. A malicious app. It lies about the data it collects and the set up is intentionally misleading. I entered the wrong PIN number and now the app doesn’t let me use the device at all. There is no fix for this issue, you literally have to purchase a new device because you entered an incorrect PIN number. Other reviewers have encountered the same issue. Get a refund ASAP if you can.

Quite easy. After reading some of the reviews, I was concerned about this gear interrupting my sleep, but it did not. I have relatively thick fingers so I put the probe on my pinky. There was some initial throbbing, but it went away before I fell asleep. I also taped the chest sensor to make sure it didn’t fall off. All in all simple, straightforward and ignorable gadgetry given the amount of it strapped to your body.

Straightforward and had no issues. I’m guessing most people would only write reviews for this if they experiencing problems since the app never actually solicited for reviews. I used this for my home sleep apnea test as with everyone else. The app downloaded with the link my provider gave and I had no issues the night of pairing the device was easy. Instructions were simple to follow. The device didn’t bother me all that much and I was able to sleep mostly a normal night. It did it’s job and I would recommend the brand for sure :)

Disappointing — constant error message. I keep getting a constant error message that the “probe is not connected,” despite (1) my phone clearly shows I’m connected to the watch and (2) the watch blinks red once I put the battery in and then green once it’s connected. I continue to remove and replace the batter, but nothing changes—I keep getting the same error. No troubleshooting guides, no mentions of this error anywhere… now I’ll have to hope my doctor has an available appoint and pay for another watch to do a test on…

Not informative. I find this app to be not informative. I have used some app that tracks sleeping and tell when you snored which was revealing. However this app offers zero Informational value to the patient. And my doctor provides no stats but plainly says Treatment options include position therapy, CPAP, surgical interventions, or the use of an oral appliance. Please let me know how you would like to proceed.

Surprisingly Easy And Comfortable. I asked a lot of questions as I was concerned about personal data being out there. There is no personal data associated with the device or app. The software is connected to the device SN and links up on the other side. Couldn’t believe how easy it was to use. My physician was very pleased with the full report he received. Being a nurse, I asked to review it and was shocked with how much data was collected and how detailed it was. The device is very comfortable and non-invasive. Much better than the test I had in the lab a year ago. You do have to be cautious of your font size setting, but once their support helped me adjust that, I was able to enter the PIN (it had a 0) and test!

Easy to follow but kept giving me error m safe. Called support tech and they were very helpful. Apparently once I changed the battery to a new one that I had it started and they walked me through. Appeared to be working all night just now dealing with a message that said there was an error but yet it said I had completed ok??? Going to call support before I unhook everything.

Multiple failures. The app and device synch just fine but the uncomfortable finger monitor does not suit well for a sleep study! We should be made comfortable not feel finger pain within a short period of time. Wasn't sure if my finger was getting circulation cut off from the monitor. Second issue for me was the monitor for my neck which fell off immediately while trying to sleep. I shouldn’t have to get out of bed to secure it with tape or something else I may have at home. If insurance is helping cover this sleep study in home to satisfy their requirements then the sleep center may need to send along something to secure the neck monitor that works better than their pathetic sticky adhesive on the device. The patient shouldn’t be burdened by this device to get good sleep and results from the device.

It really hurt my finger!. I’m not sure if it was the adhesive inside the device causing an allergic reaction or if the device pulled on my cuticle when I applied it, but it started to hurt shortly after I fell asleep and grew increasingly painful throughout the night. The pain woke me up several times, though I managed to fall back asleep each time. After seven hours, I removed the device, but my finger continued to hurt for about 20 minutes afterward. After reading other reviews, I see that I’m not the only one who experienced this issue. I just hope it doesn’t affect the results of the study.

Not user-friendly. I used the WatchPat for my second sleep study and it was not a good experience. First of all, not a good idea to make the sleep screen BRIGHT WHITE in the background. The fact that you have to keep the application open and your phone on for the entire night is ridiculous. The app tells you to “not close the application” but I expected it to run in the background when my phone turns off, like how the clock app can still run a timer when your phone is asleep. The app should warn the user that it doesn’t work when the phone falls asleep. I have used apps that bypass my phone’s automatic sleep timer which would fix that issue. I had to go into settings > general > appearance & brightness to change the automatic shut off to “never,” which the app never suggested that I do. I don’t understand why the app can’t run in the background. Not user friendly.

Finger probe made it the worst night of sleep.. I don’t have exceptionally large fingers, but the probe is very tight and painful. I woke up many times because my finger was throbbing and each time it was much more difficult to fall asleep. I made it through 6 hours and then submitted the test, ripped it off, and then managed to get some real sleep. They make all sorts of flexible sensors for pulse oximetry, I really don’t understand a rigid plastic finger trap being the best option. After removal my finger had deep indentations and was wrinkly because the probe creates a seal, so it’s like having you finger in a plastic bag. At least the app seems to have worked and submitted the test.

Wonderfully Easy!. Couldn’t ask for an easier medical test to be done at home. Beats going to a lab, for sure!

Get a refund now. This is my second time trying to do a sleep study with this app and their partner device. I am currently trying to get my permit for DOT this is a need thing. And I can not move forward until this is done. I have waisted three weeks now with this. After having issues with my first device and being told they got the data and to wait the time period only to find out they never received the data. Operating this is super easier I don’t think they could make it easier. Which is why it’s so disappointing that it has not worked and waisted my time

Did not work. Followed instructions to the letter tried two different, made sure they where updated, no luck. Removed all other bluetooth devices tried again show device was contected via Bluetooth. Got up removed the device per instructions and now will not upload.

Didn’t work for me. I wore it for 7.5 hours and actually slept pretty good with it. I got the report saying it was sent to my provider and that everything was good and I pulled the battery. My provider says they didn’t get it and want to charge me $100 for not completing the test.

Watch app will not stay connected.. Could not complete upload, watch will not stay connected. They make the sensors simple and easy to use and thats a plus but app usability is garbage. No help, no instruction for when things go wrong. Had to call the help line to get manual affirmation of data received. Baaaad!

Great device. Easy to set up. Surprisingly comfortable to sleep while using device. I was worried that I would not be able to sleep while wearing the device but after it was on, I didn’t really notice. Highly recommend!

Lost data, blank entry. Set up the device and app per all instructions. Did not like the access required but did allow. Everything looked good, app have the message “Goodnight” or something similar. I assumed all was well. Woke up in the morning and the app simply stated “Thank you”. Again, thought all was well. Waited 2 weeks no call back from doctor or anyone. Place a call with the sleep center, a week later got the message that the O2 sensor did not record any values. The sleep center simply stated that I made an error. Really? Your app told me everything was ok and good to sleep. Now over a month later you want me to purchase another kit to redo the study. Couple of questions. I paid for a study and got nothing. Either refund my money for something I did not receive Or replace the defective kit with another one. I can not recommend this product until then. E Stokes

How much would it cost you to make the return label site info a hyperlink?. It I ridiculous that the return/green program info is not a hyperlink. No. I can toss this equipment and shipping material “according to local regulations”, or I can return it, using the form on the website. But the website is not a hyperlink. NEITHER IS THE TEXT SELECTABLE! So I cannot simply select/copy/paste to a browser. This is bogus behavior on your part. Totally lazy and also determined to be inaccessible. So, I must tap it in, character-by-character to get rid of the equipment. Get over yourselves!! Get better programmers!

Stops recording in the middle of the night. I have had to redo this test 2 times already because in the middle of the night, the app stops working or something, and when I wake up, it saying the sleep data has already been sent, but it doesn’t send anything

Expensive 1-time Product that down work. App is to support the sleep monitor product. Only good for one time use and if there are any issues, you cannot restart. You mush toss it in the trash and buy another. overpriced, cheaply built, bad for the environment and if you get past that it probably still doesn’t worrk.

There is no off-ramp. The set-up and everything with the sensors and the app went fine, but I had a bad night and couldn't sleep at all. For awhile I tried to find some way to cancel the test within the app so I could re-do it another night but the app just forces you to send in your results no matter what. I tried to quickly delete the app when it got to the screen saying my results were being sent in, but I later got a text saying my results were received. Now I'm not sure if I can take the test again.

Not too bad. I read all the bad reviews before using this product. I will admit, I was very skeptical about using the devices based on what I read. It wasn’t that bad of an experience. The finger probe was a little tight, but it has to be to remain on your finger. That’s common sense!!! My ring size is 8.5 and I put it on my index finger. I didn’t have any issues sleeping through the night. You can use your camera to open apps and you have cookie options. You don’t have to let them see your photos as I read!! Smh…There were no issues sending the data to my doctor either!! Read the instructions people….Reading is fundamental!! You’ll be fine!

Easy to use, results transmitted without issue. Test was transmitted without a hitch. Attaching the sensors was easy. Pairing the device went flawlessly. Not really sure what all the negative reviews are about. I didn’t have a single issue. No discomfort. I just followed the instructions which were clear and easy to follow. 💁🏼 I checked in with Lofta to make sure everything got to them as I’ve read several reviews the test information did not send. They received it without issue. I got my test results from a sleep doctor in less than 12 hours and a full personalized recommendation. It was easy to understand. I requested my prescription and it was password protected and emailed to me, again within 12 hours. I really can’t speak enough to the level of care I’ve received. A few tips. If you follow the instructions to the letter, you won’t have any issues. Go step by step. If at any point the device isn’t working, contact Lofta. Their customer service is awesome. Be patient with the technology. Make sure it’s connected (green light) and that the watch is not too tight. Attach the sensor on your chest with some medical tape. Don’t put the finger with the sensor over your head or higher than your heart and you won’t have discomfort/throbbing. Be patient. Relax.

Worked Seamlessly. Worked without a hitch for me. I restarted the phone before using it, just in case. In Settings -> WatchPat One, Document Storage showed iCloud Drive. So I freed up some space in my iCloud, just to make sure. I allowed all notifications from the app and left it open in the foreground all night. Don’t forget to hit complete in the morning.

Easy to use and my doctor called the next day with results. I took a WatchPAT test because my doctor suspected I had sleep apnea. I was able to use the device and the app without any issues. The training part of the app worked great to review how to use the test. I like that at the end of the testing, it gave instructions for mailing in the device for recycling.

Easy and Efficient. Watched a video before picking up device from doctor. Simple detailed step-by-step instruction in video and written form was great great for setting up. Data loaded in under 30 seconds after finished. Really solid option for at-home testing and very well thought out! Tip— doctors office said that if the app is taking a long time to upload your data: Exit the app, do not fully closed out app, go to any other app, and switch back to WatchPat App. (I did not have this issue- iPhone 11)

Great product. I read the reviews when downloading the app. The process was simple, my finger did hurt, no errors and just totally easy. I have not got results yet but expect that should be smooth sailing.

Useless uncomfortable waste of money. Biggest waste of $25. The finger monitor hurts to wear all night. No idea if it recorded anything as it doesn’t confirm jack squat. Never sent report to the Dr. The app doesn’t tell you if anything was recorded just prompts you to start your study again. Never got a prompt after I hit end sleep study.

Worked well for me. I work at Itamar and we did our own self test. Have done two tests without a problem. Enjoy.

Scam product and customer service. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. After using the device the first time, the device did not record. Another device was sent a few months later. The records were never sent to my doctor who prescribed this product. I have called customer service at least ten times and have not had a return call or follow up after leaving messages. The customer service seems to be a home-based service with different people answering calls, transferring to voicemails or not answering at all. It’s been almost a year and the test results were not sent to the doctor as requested. Company needs to be reported for fraud and questionable handling of private patient information.

Great Experience!. I totally disagree with all the negative reviews- I found setup to be super simple and none of the monitoring pieces were uncomfortable. I ordered my test from Lofta on Feb 1, met with the doctor on Feb 7, took my sleep test using this app on Feb 14, and will have my CPAP by the 18th. Couldn’t have asked for an easier process.

This is not the one.. Not the best finger probe design. Only was able to record 5 hours of data before ripping off the device to try to actually sleep. I won’t be going off the data collected because how useful is a sleep study when you can’t sleep. Poor app, poor measurement device, not a great experience. Will not be doing this again.

Data corruption/loss. Less than useless.. My doctor told me that the upload failed and the equipment can be reused. So I have to drive two hours to get it again. This seems very wasteful. It seems like this device does not conform to Bluetooth specs as it is easily corrupted. This product is not ready for general availability. I would pull this app from the store until the data corruption issue is resolved.

Scam!!!!. This is a scam. My device will not work do to not being able to put in the correct pin. Apparently I put in the wrong pin, and it locked up. No longer any good. Tried to call “customer service” to no avail. Will it answer the phone nor return phone calls. $275 down the drain. Will be calling my credit card company.

Worked perfectly. This is a one time use app. It worked perfectly and better than I expected. Connection worked. The gathering of info worked. Download in morning was great.

Tried but it kept waking me up. I really tried to do this test last night, the finger monitor was so tight on my finger that it actually hurt and kept waking me up, I tried to put it on different finger within just a few minutes I had indentation on the other finger to. So I waited for awhile without it on put it back on maybe slept for an hour and woke up hurting again so I don’t even know if this worked for me but I’m not going to try it again if it didn’t bc I took photos of both fingers and will show and speak with my doctor about it. Wish everyone luck that it doesn’t happen to you as well.

Hurt my finger. The setup for this was pretty easy. I got everything on, started the test, and went to bed. I woke up in the middle of the night to a stinging feeling on the finger that had the monitor on it. I moved it around a little thinking it was just pushing my cuticle in a weird direction and went back to sleep. I woke up some time later to the same feeling. All through the rest of the night my finger stung pretty badly. By the time my alarm went off it was to the point of being unbearable. I stopped the test and immediately took off the finger monitor. The top of my cuticle was red and swollen. There was another red spot near my knuckle. It stayed this way through the day and still stung. The only thing I could think of was that I was having a reaction to the adhesive that’s inside the monitor. I don’t normally react to adhesives. This was a first. It was not a pleasant experience.

Not private. Read their policy document. Under "Devices" they clearly state the personal data they collect and hold. The header here which states "nothing collected" is at best misleading .

Bad experience. I am an average guy 5’11” and weight 170 lbs BMI 24. The finger probe was so tight on my finger and kept hurting. Customer service is terrible and never returned my calls. I called them 2 times and left voicemails. Not recommended at all! Go to cpap.com and see the difference in customer service !

Terrible. - $200 for cheap uncomfortable plastic, couldn’t sleep with the device on - must specify birthday in each login - UI to set birthday won’t accept month until I set year first (why?) - morning questionnaire was not available until several minutes after I woke up - survey asks “how long do you sleep”, if I knew this I wouldn’t have gone to a doctor and received this junk

Intentionally Arduous to Access Privacy Details & No Battery Seeing other people’s comments about the information that’s collected and not noted in the App Store made me nervous so I read the entire terms and conditions (which simply start with by using this app, you’re agreeing to the following (!!!)) and it doesn’t say anything about collection of information so I thought I should go back and check out the link to the privacy documents, which are seven separate documents that you can download to view one at a time, and after you tap to download and view one of them, it takes you back to the main screen of the app so then you have to go back to the terms and conditions menu, scroll all the way down to find the link to the privacy documents, tap to download view that document back to the main screen back to the terms and conditions, scroll down to the privacy link tap on the next one download and view that document, etc. etc.. There’s a form that you can fill out & submit to find out what information they collect from you, with a checkbox either to find out what information they collect & possibly share about you OR asking them to delete the information they collect about you. You cannot submit one form to do both. On top of this nonsense there was no battery in my sealed kit, which will put 90% of patients in a last minute bind. Luckily I watched the preview in the app which stated “check that the battery is in the box, and if not, go get one” lol not impressed.

Terrible app. Won’t allow you to put in your “passcode” - only shows few numbers. Doesn’t allow numbers after 4 to be used. Frozen screen. Terrible app.

Garbage. Bought the test. It wouldn’t work. Contacted company. No response. Reported them to my credit card. AWFUL!

Use your smallest finger. Physically painful. Still hurts after I removed the device. Ow. Hopefully will not have bruise/complication. Advice: if you must use, use your smallest finger.

Good. Good app - easy pairing process and instructions.

Easy to use, worked perfectly. This worked flawlessly. The instructions were very clear (you could watch a video, or read a clearly written pamphlet, or follow the app). The sensors were easy to attach. I used a band-aid as an extra step to make sure the breath sensor stayed in place (they suggested using medical tape). The finger sensor was comfortable to wear. The Bluetooth pairing with my phone happened automatically, I didn't have to do anything. Other reviewers complained that the app was accessing private data like photos, but I checked, and the app was not accessing anything except Bluetooth. Other reviewers also had a problem because their code contained a "0", but mine did too, and I had no problem with it. In the morning, the data uploaded quickly with a status bar showing progress and a final message saying my doctor had received the data. Congratulations to the developers of this app - they've clearly fixed the problems found by earlier users.

Apple monopoly. I am trying to download this software but due to billing issues they are refusing.

Bad battery. Not a huge thing, but I was a little disappointed in that after getting ready for bed and setting up the device the app told me the battery supplied with the monitor was dead. My bedtime plans did not include searching the house for a fresh AAA battery. Please note that the instructions mention you can throw the device away when you’re done with it. There is an way described in the paperwork to get a free return mailing label to send it back to the manufacturer. Much “greener” option over tossing it out.

There is no zero !. The pin they gave me has a zero in it and the app doesn’t have a selection to choose a zero on it. What a joke !

Hurt finger. This hurt my finger too much to sleep, or even to keep it on.

Can’t install. I have iPhone 11 and it keeps giving me an error about and “essential system permission was denied by user”when I try to open the app.

Finger sensor is way too tight. Cut off circulation in any finger I tried, even pinky. Worst night of sleep, and affected my test results.

painful, literally. put the test on your smallest finger and you’ll still feel tingly and pain after a few hours. i don’t wish this app/test upon my worst enemy.

Bad design. Very poor design, finger hurt all night making it hard to sleep did not get good results

Frustrating pile of crap. This was the most frustrating thing. Didn’t work out or box called tech support and they where no help

WatchCRAP. Your cheap plastic crap doesn’t work. You’re a joke.

Junk. Two phones and six batteries cannot get the software to connect to the device. Junk. Waste of time and effort.
