MyZio Comments & Reviews 2026
So much better. The technology has progressed so much compared to previous generations that it is truly astonishing and almost a pleasant experience. No gripes just a lil itchy at times is the worst I can do. Have and will continue to recommend you and your great product. Larry and Diane Lewis
Convenient. I’ve had to wear the heart monitor twice, so far… This app makes logging my symptoms super convenient and easy. I don’t have to fiddle with a pencil and booklet in order to keep track of things. It also has all the videos to help in case of maintenance issues and has a faq section.
Decent app. Makes it much easier to log symptoms when they occur. The only limitation is the amount of text you can enter in the detail section. That’s fine with me. I’m keeping a separate log for anything I need to go into detail for. If I had to log each incident in the book that comes with the device I probably wouldn’t do it so it’s worth it to install the app. I had trouble registering my device from my iPhone 13, whether I entered the serial number manually or tried to use the scanner. I was able to register it from my iPad Air by manually entering the serial number. Not that this is the place to rate the device itself but I like this better than using a Holter monitor. The only downside is where the device is stuck to your chest can itch.
Zio monitor. I have been wearing the Zio XT monitor for almost a week, it’s not very comfortable, I have sensitive skin and it makes me itch. I can’t sleep at night because it’s so itchy and uncomfortable to wear. Maybe I put it on wrong maybe not either way I have a week left of uncomfortableness. But I hope it’s doing its job.
Wearing a heart monitor. I used to hook up these kind of monitors abt 20 years ago and they were so difficult for the patient bc there were so many wires. They would always fall of then they would have to redo the test. Plus having to write down everything you do from the time you get it on till it’s taken off. Being able to log everything on the app is so nice. No paperwork. Plus the fact that it in NO wires at all. Having to were it for 7 days would be unbearable but this is gonna be a breeze.
Zio Heart Monitor. I was prescribed to wear this monitor for 7 days. It was easy to put on and care for. Straight-forward instructions for when having symptoms and the logging process; in the booklet and in the app. Taking the monitor off and returning instructions were also easy. Now, we wait! Would definitely recommend this product to others. ~ JH
Zio. Devices lite, sometimes you forget it’s there. I don’t like that you can’t take a full shower and I forget to write down or log some of my symptoms. You just forget to log them. You cannot log symptoms when you were in the store or when you’re driving or when you’re asleep at three in the morning. other than that I like that it’s tiny. And let you forget that it’s on your chest.
Lifesaving software. My doctor has been tinkering with my heart medications, and I have struggled to communicate how the sensations in my chest have been affected. This app gives him vital information to help him understand what I am experiencing. Diagnosis might now be slightly less of a game of pin the tail on the donkey, er I mean patient.
Ridiculous Situation. I keep getting a message when I try to enter info of an episode that I am outside the prescribed time. So I called your customer service for info. I told her that I was scheduled for 7 days and I was only on day 4. She said that was because my 7 day period started when it was shipped. She said she would make a note of when I actually started wearing Zio. She was very nice, helpful and professional. But come on, your time period starts when the Zio is shipped? Whoever thought that was a good idea is seriously lacking in the common sense department. This is the 3rd time over several years that I’ve worn a Zio and the first 2 were impressive. This is a huge step back. It makes me seriously question the reliability of my supposed 7 day test period. And even if my episodes have been recorded, it’s an utterly ridiculous situation. If they are still recorded, then why the message on the app that they might not be? You can do better!!!
Zio woks well!. In my second experience with the Zio patch, I found it works extremely well, especially in coordination with the phone app, which makes everything easier, more efficient and ultimately I assume more effective in examining and decoding the accumulated data. The convenience of this device is exceptional - and I’ve worn several devices over the years as I’ve had my afib diagnosed and essentially dealt with after a third and successful ablation.
Thoughtfully designed device. Just completed my 2 week Zio monitoring. The instructions from step one of opening the box to applying the device to operating the device to then removal and returning the device IMO was most excellent. Zio team had patient in mind when designing. The app, text notices, type of adhesive (long lasting never came loose) to repackaging with even the little tape to seal the box was all thought out. Good product and hoping the device did its recording job equally well.
Some Thoughts. A lot better then heart monitors I’ve worn before, only downside is that as a bigger man it was harder to get the leads to stay on, when I moved around or laying it felt the device would come off my chest, also need some kind of tape to keep the leads down as it lost its grip barely into day 1 of 14.. but other then that ya barely feel it on ya, just wish it was Bluetooth or WiFi where I could personally see my heart beats and rhythms in real time, maybe down the line you would think of that..
A loose goose. Numbers appear on the App icon but I have no idea what they represent. For days there were no numbers. Then there were 4. When I opened the App there was no reference to time or what any of the 4 represented. I had no incident to report. The device kept loosing a tight connection to my skin. (I do not have oily skin.) I called the # provided and followed the directions. I ended up using medical tape, without covering up the round antennas.
Great alternative to a Holter monitor. Quick, easy, efficient alternative for continuous heart monitoring. Very small unit affixed to left chest with reliable adhesive, so you can shower and sleep undisturbed. Apply, after receiving by mail, wear for days to weeks as prescribed by physician, remove and return by US mail using attached mailing label. Very well written directions for application included. No fuss, no muss experience. Company prints out results and sends to prescribing physician for review. Well thought out and executed product from patient standpoint.
Oh how getting old is not fun. Technology has come so far these days I wear this nickel size button over my heart with adhesive stickers and yea you can shower just after 24 hours even though I still did the same day I just held my shower handle in hand to not hit my zio. Well isn’t this nifty all I do is press the button when I’m having any off feelings and EVEN THOUGH ITS RECORDING 24/7 It kinda highlights these moments for the cardiologists so they know what your feeling. Then you open your phone hit this app and bam it literally gives you all the options needed to log your info and to my surprise the lady attaching this device also made me aware that if the company noticed any kind of weird things going on with my heart that would cause immediate need to alert the company automatically alerts my PCP PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN THAT REFERRED ME. ISNT THAT COOL. I LOVE THIS THING IT KINDA MAKES ME WANNA WEAR IT ALL THE TIME LETS ME KNOW SOMEONE HAS MY BACK. THANKS MYZIO!!
I like the app not that I have a choice. So the app is good. It needs a watch app. It would be nice to be able to do a verbal thing log to my AI also a before action not just a doing such as I was sitting for the last hour but started walking The lack of verbal is very frustrating for someone who has dyslexia also when you’re moving around and are having heart issues usually you don’t really have time to do a log in a verbal log nice
Intuitive app to track symptoms. Simple app to quickly log / edit symptoms when i’m out and about and don’t have or want to carry a paper log book. Ability to trouble shoot on my own was nice by using the help section/ button in bottom right. I liked the countdown at the top to see how many days left i had to wear the device.
App helpful with linking activities and the heart. The app is so much easier than pencil and booklet to document various episodes and what one was doing when they occurred. I would imagine it is a big help to whoever is reading the 14 day monitor to link what was going on when reading the monitor’s output.
Easy to use. I never thought that a two week heart monitor would be so easy to wear and use. I like the app where I can login my symptoms and the little button you push on the monitor when you have symptoms. So far, it has been really very simple and easy to use.
Easy App. The app is easy to log into and easy to work. The monitor doesn’t bother me at all in my daily activities. It did mention to use the adhesive remover when I take it off and there wasn’t one in the box. Overall a very convenient product.
Easy to use!. I found the MyZio app easy to use much better than having to write everything down. Probably the big thing is make sure you download the app immediately and get things figured out sooner than later.
Update disaster. Received a new patch and put it on. I know I have to update the serial number in the app. Opened the app and was greeted with the message that the certificate of the server is … (the rest of the test isn’t visible, I assume the missing word is invalid or expired). Call #1: instructed to remove app and install new one. I tried this but was notified that my iOS is too old but that I could run an older version. Which I did and got the same message. Call #2 suggested I use the written log. So I switched to my iPad, downloaded the app and signed in. Message says that my wear period has ended. This is correct; it’s why I need to update the serial number. But I can’t because the only visible controls are the play button to view a video on shipping it back and the home icon, which does nothing. Call #3 informs me to turn up the brightness, which I do. He says I need to access my profile, but of course there is no way to do this. On top of this he asked me for my password! Hard to imagine any reasonable modern system where that would be tolerated. He also said this is a known problem that has been reported by others. I don’t know which would be worse, that he made that up or that it is true and he didn’t start with that information.
Utterly Imprecise!. There is a HUGE difference in effort between walking quickly across a parking lot because it rains and walking nonchalantly while doing grocery shopping, or walking around the house cooking vs walking briskly in a park with the dog. It is not the same effort at all and by far, therefore what is considered “normal heart rate” when you walk quickly in a park to walk the dog becomes not at all normal when all you do is walking around the kitchen to make dinner. Yet, for this app, you do the same thing: walking! How could such broad information help your Cardio figure this out? It cannot! So I am doing BOTH the journal and the app because context is everything. This app is pretty useless. Zio people, you really should talk to your developers, this isn’t useful. Ah… I work in Clinical Research so I know a thing or two in data acquisition and journaling…
Excellent instructions. As a second time user I was more confident applying the Zio than I was the first time. I had learned that as long as one follows the instructions carefully the Zio remains firmly attached and I had also learned that wearing a sports bra worked well - no concern about straps pushing on edge of the monitor.
After the third day, the center part was loose it wasn’t against my skin. The girl told me I didn’t have to document the app did but I had recently a couple days before I had a right hand surgery and I told her this was not a good thing but she went ahead with it. I had anesthesia FOG brain I hope it worked, but might not have brain.
Can I delete this app now?. This might seem like a common sense question, but I haven’t seen a single thing answer my question. Can I delete the app after the two weeks is up? I’ve mailed my patch back already, and am waiting on my results, but do I need to keep the app until my results come back? There was also no clarification as to whether or not there was a limit as to how many entries you get. It says it’ll only show your doctor 50 entries, but can you enter more? I only entered exactly 50, so I never found out, but it made me very nervous at the beginning that I’d have a limit. Obviously there’s the customer service line, but that’s not always accessible for everyone and would be better to have some sort of online messaging service for customer service, or a more in depth FAQ page.
Suboptimal restrictions and is it actually working?. I have used a Zio monitor before, but this one doesn’t have removable pads like the previous one did... So when wearing it for 14 days it falls off and you have to rely on tape to meet the 14 day requirement. They tell you not to sweat too much, not to swim and shower with your back to the shower head. All of which I did and it still began to fall off. But what good is the data if you aren’t stressing yourself?? Of course you’re going to break a sweat! This monitor needs to come with at least 8 removable pads to swap out as needed and remain in place to collect accurate, real-life data. Also, this monitor needs to have a light indicating that it is actually on and functioning. It only blinks when you turn it on and when it’s lost contact. The entire time you’re wearing it though, you’re just hoping that it’s collecting data. No indication, no green light, nothing… Please change your product.
Needs UI update. Somehow this app still uses screen dimensions of older iPhones and is not optimized for larger screens—I see black bars on top and bottom of the interface. Other than that it’s simple and intuitive enough. Would be great to be able to dismiss the message about calling 911 after logging each symptom—I imagine people are capable of understanding it the first time around. Maybe a “I understand, never show this message again” checkbox?
ZIO. Seems to be working well. It’s so easy you don’t even know your are wearing it. It seems to stay stuck I just hope I can remove it without hurting my skin. One improvement they could make to the design is, they ask when you have and episode two press the button on the face and then log it either in a book or the Internet. I chose the Internet. The two problems I see are if you choose the book it’s too big to fit in your pocket. you may not have it with you when you need it because of that. The second problem is the unit itself. It may just be the unit I have, but it’s hard to tell when you press the button during an episode whether or not it actually worked meaning the switch the button is not as definitive on and off as it could be. My real thoughts are if this thing works and we can get my medication’s in wine I’ll be very very happy. Would I try it again? If the doctor requested it you bet it’s simple it’s easy!
My Zio Monitor. Instructions don’t tell you whether you are to use new page for each incident? I.E. On 12/14, I experienced 4 incidents throughout the day and wrote everything on one page. A couple times I had a problem but was too sick to hit the button and/or make any entry until long after it happened because usually when I have an episode I lay down immediately and try to let it pass especially if I have taken Sublingual Nitro.
How do I know it’s working. It took fordver for for the light to come on after several button pushes. Why doesn’t the app show your heartbeat so you know it’s connected right? And does it work without service? I have a very weak connection and my service does not always work. Is it even worth having it on if it needs strong cell service?
Oh My Zio. This is the 2nd time I have used this app and heart monitor. Such an easy way to keep a record of the irregular events I experience. The Monitor is small and hardly noticeable. The app is simple to use and is a quick way to get my feedback to the cardiology team who get the test results read sooner which in turn leads to receiving a diagnosis and treatment plan in a short time. Much better than the old heavy halter monitor and handwritten notebook.
Clever design but confusing diary text process. Appreciate how neatly nurse prepared & affixed monitor over heart. Like the choices of keeping written or WP diary of Med events; but ZIO app is like 150-char style on low-range laptops w/o ability to easily change entries. Also beware of extreme itching in shaved area (after 3 days for me); called Cust support for permission to stop in day 4. Called today for perm to return unit though I didn’t push orange start button; agent confirmed that nurse had done that after installing so file should contain 4 whole days of heart activity. Cardiologist warned that, if no abnormalities are found on next images, he may implant 3-month tracker in arm. Until further notice, avoid gym (where I had fainted after 30 min light workout 10 days ago) & driving. Hydrate, avoid sugar/salt etc.
Kinda confusing.. When I have an event, I can mark the time and select from the symptom icons, but then idk if I’m supposed to close the app and wait until the event is over to list the duration of the event or leave the app open and wait for the event to subside. And if the event lasts for an hour or more I’m gonna forget. And if the monitor records regardless of what I put in the log, what difference does it make? The support line doesn’t answer that question. Only a few prerecorded messages there.
So small. When my doctor said I was to wear a monitor for 2 weeks I immediately thought of those rather bulky cumbersome old model ones! I was amazed at this technology and it made wearing it so easy! The only issue I had all on me was I would press button when experiencing an issue but was never able to log my exact issue and specifics sorry all on me :(. Redinthehills
Inadequate user interface. There’s no place to describe the situation you are in when you experience an event. This app needs an entry form to write notes describing what you were doing and what happened. Also I discovered that I can’t even edit this text because on my iPhone anyway. Won’t let me copy or you know or cut or anything. I just have to delete the whole thing.
Great technology. So much easier just grabbing your phone which is always with a person anyways and filling out when you feel something. Much better than writing things down all the time.
Customer service. I called because I had two issues and the customer service lady was absolutely wonderful. I was waiting so I could give her a great review and my phone got disconnected so if there’s anyway to give her a great review, please do I just got off the phone five minutes ago with her so it would be about 3:35
Says my prescription is expired. I was to use after rehab for 28 days. Easy to apply am but unfortunately the start time in the app was when the hospital gave it to me which was 3 weeks before i was to start using it. Now i try to log symptoms and i get a message saying it is outside the monitoring times and the info kay not be in final report. Called ti het this fixed snd was told it was fine bit operator and i got disconnected and she never called back. I called and could not hold on for do long- i just had a stroke a few weeks ago! Nit acceptable.
Great technology but app isn’t the best. The myZio app could be improved: - something is up with theming. On first logging in, the bottom menu had no contrast so I couldn’t tell what all my options were. I had to randomly tap till I got to another section and was able to see my options. - the alert to call 911 if yada yada EVERY time you log a symptom is beyond annoying. Once a day would be sufficient.
The ease of using this app is exceptional. I have written holter monitors in the past. The size of this one and the use of the app to record symptoms is so easy. I really don’t even notice the monitor. The app makes noting the symptoms so easy and who doesn’t have their phone with them these days!
Makes monitoring and recording SO easy!. I was a nurse back in the olden days when patients had to wear great big monitors with a million wires getting caught in everything. Then they had to find a pencil and record their symptoms if they were feeling them. This is so much easier! All I have to do is poke the button on my chest and then open the app on my phone to record things so quickly and easily! I'm sure I am doing a better job of monitoring and recording than I would if I had to hand write it in a book.
Fundamental problems. New MyZio user on new up-to-date iPhone. The app won’t allow the ‘Other’ symptom option. The box checks briefly, the screen flashes, and it comes back without the box checked. I did a full reinstall of the app, including reboots of the phone, and found that the app also fails to record Apple’s generated ‘string password’, so I had to update my password in order to log back after reinstallation. I’m forced to keep event notes in a separate electronic document, as the handful of pages provided in the supplied log book is wholly inadequate. Phone support said the app is already two years old and that app support would take two days to follow up with me. Considering that people use this device for just 14 days, that sort of lethargic response rate is unacceptable. I'm not feeling the love here…
My Partner the Monitor. User friendly; instructions clear, large print, color coded and all I needed to become partners with my monitor for two weeks. One thing I did to prevent water damage and itching was; cover with large water proof bandages (2) side by side. Cover the center of the bandages with a stripe of paper to prevent sticking to monitor. Wipe around area with alcohol wipe. Remove after shower. Worked for me! Return was just as easy. An over all pleasant experience Thanks for Caring!!
Possibly life saving info. Device is simple to use. I had one 8 months ago and it caught a problem no one was worried about before. I am wearing one now to check rhythm after a ventricular ablation. I think this is my fourth time wearing one. May try golf right before it has to come off anyways.
Good log option for users. MyZio is much easier and using the written log. As for the unit, I’ve used Zo more than once, and this particular option has an adhesive that fails quickly. My first unit fail after three days of use and they had to send me another one. Nursing appointment reattached the second unit and after the 26th hour at two after slight sweating fell off. I am now relegated to using paper tape to secure the unit. I’ve talked with two irhythm technicians help me to reset the unit and assuring me that it’s working so they cannot check to make sure that it is. It was the second rep that told me that they were aware of the adhesive problems that I was not alone. So, I would think that going forwardmay go back to adhesive that you used in previous versions that did not fail so easily. That’s my two cents worth as a user.
Great tool when it doesn’t have glitches. I used this last year when I did the Zio monitor. The book only holds 10 logs if I recall and I experience symptoms multiple times a day. Last time the bottom bar wasn’t black and the other under symptoms worked. I am doing another Zio patch now and it is annoying not being able to use other to add additional symptoms so I am having to add it in with the activity I was doing.
Horrible Company. It cost over $1,000 to wear this monitor for 3 days, their billing department is horrid, and for a company that is supposedly so technologically advanced they have no way of setting up auto payment plans so you have to call and go through the system each time and good luck getting a person. If you look at the Better Business Bureau reports you will see hundreds of similar reviews to mine. I am putting it anywhere I can in relation to this company so that everyone can do their own research and understand why I will NEVER use them again or recommend them to anyone else
Very easy logging info. It’s very easy to log in and record info and it is broken into categories so u can pick one plus you have other on there so when the categories doesn’t apply you can use the other selection. That way you can describe more in detail what you r doing and make it more easily understood to the person reading it
JW. I’m happy with the Zio Long-Term Continuous Heart Monitor, because of the great app, and the comfort of the device. The symptom log on the app has been improved. Even if I need to record an event later, after it happens, the app allows me to do that. I was expecting to have a lot of skin problems from the adhesive, but it wasn’t a problem at all. I’m thankful for a very good experience.

So far this is the easiest, smallest, and least inconvenient. I’m stunned at how far this tech has come. I had used a different company about 7 years ago. It’s of no comparison. This is top notch. Very happy.
App usefulness is lost on me. You can’t go back to previous days to record events to coincide with why you pressed the button on the device. The “Other” category of event has a small character limit that prevents you from recording relevant details of events.
Works fine but doesn’t save login. This app is a better alternative for me vs writing in a log booklet. However, it would be so much better if it retained the login and password. The last thing I want to deal with, after potentially experiencing a cardio symptom, is logging into an app if it was already closed.
It lasted ONE before it fell off!. Perhaps this MyZio might have received a higher feedback had the unit adhered to me for the duration, one week! After the first day, half the unit was no longer attached to my chest, so I had to find tapes and bandages to secure the unit half so it could be functional once again. When I visited a relative 4 days in, the unit seemed not to allow updates, whereas I was unable to include the information until hours later when I returned home. I would call the MyZio a ‘work in progress’!
Great app overall. The 911 caution alert it throws *every* time you log an event tends to get more annoying and distracting each time. Once a day would be fine. All other functionality seems great.
Wait until results are in hand.. The system is well thought out. The Aop is reasonably easy to use and focuses me on the end goal. The danger of getting unit wet causes me a lot of anxiety. The two week test frame and longer for results are anxiety inducing as well.
Simple to use.. It’s simple to use and not very uncomfortable. Most of the time I forget I’m wearing it. The Phone app is also easy; you just login your symptoms.
Invisible tabs. Since the background is dark, you are unable to see the tabs at the bottom of the screen. I had to call the support desk who walked me through blindly tappping along the bottom of the screen to find the tabs. Once you get in then the tabs are able to be seen.
Not much to the app. It does allow you to log symptoms, but there is no option for an accidental button push which results in a “false alarm”. You must choose a symptom to advance and record the logged event. This may lead to false conclusions. The Zio device itself is small and not very intrusive and gets high marks.
Easy to wear. I like its ease but wish you told us how long a strip was being run or taken. No where in your booklet does it tell you what is going on when button is pushed! A 1 minute strip? What? Please inform your patient
User. Very easy to use, only problem is I wish I could see what it was saying
Itchy. This device is certainly much easier to deal with than the old devices you had to wear, but the glue is so irritating to my skin! It started itching something terrible about an hour after putting it on. After 2 weeks of this, I can’t wait to get it off. Please find a less irritating adhesive!!
Recommendation. Logging events. If starting an entry in the app, I don’t finish it since I am waiting to see how long it lasts. When I open up the app to complete the entry, the date time stamp is gone. Maybe allow to save the entry and go back in to update.
Easy Breezy!. Soooo much easier, quicker and more convenient to use than the old way of having to carry a booklet and write it all down!
Easier to Track Symptoms. The app makes it more convenient for me to track symptoms since I usually have my phone on me or close by. The booklet can be left behind, miss placed or I can’t find a pen.
Difficult getting started!. Did not know which number on label to put in. Did not know Cleveland Clinic did it for me. With a phone call, I learned what to do. It seems to be very helpful!
Easy to use and not glitchy. This app is great! It’s easy to log and doesn’t take much time to log either!
Will write this later need to raise my energy as I have work to do. Have something particular to say but must do it later, must run. It is only today, after meeting with the Tec pro do I understand how to use this app, with confidence & log my experience.
Keyboard Blocking Menu. I could not clear the keyboard from the screen in order to log symptoms because the menu is along the bottom of the screen. Menu items should drop-down from a pancake stack or an ellipsis in an upper corner.
App makes it easy. This app makes everything so easy. I struggled to remember to put things down in my book, now I can just grab my phone.
Good product!. Easy to follow instructions and easy to use. Highly recommended! I’m now about half way thru the 14 days. We can do this!
Waterproof watch or Removeable Monitor. I had to wear it for almost 26 days which means I could not swim or do my Aquacize classes in the Y pool. If it could be removed for 1-2 hours when swimming that would be great. My Fitbit is waterproof, so why can't your Zio be waterproof? Or Removeable for short periods of time? Thanks
Second chance. Although the technology is great, the app should allow you to log in event later.. if your driving or sleeping you may press your device but log in later.
Like the book better. I like to give more explanation of symptoms. You have a space for that in the book but not on the app. Otherwise I prefer the app because I always have my phone, I don’t always have the booklet.
Should have an option that remembers. A real problem when you have to enter everything every time you have to use it
Easy to wear and remove!. It was easy, hope you can read it and find and fix my problem.
It worked, once.. It worked the first time, where it detected when I pressed the button, and not at all since. I just pressed the button a few minutes ago, and it again did not register. I can luckily manually log it this time. My whole reason for using the app was to get accurate timestamps, such as when I’m driving and can’t write in the logbook.
User friendly.. Easy to set up. Easy to use. And I’m. It good at computer/app stuff. And it’s easy to review your input and edit if, for example, a symptom lasts longer that you originally recorded. Nicely done
ZIO APP REVIEW. App worked well for several days. Then so far for 2 days it won’t go past the Enhanced Features screen nor move the keyboard on the bottom of my screen so I can enter symptoms. I had to keep uninstalling & reinstalling which threw my symptom entries off. And I don’t know how to contact the dr to notify him.
The patch fell after just 2 days and customer support was useless. Adhesive very weak, it fell just 2 days after wearing it. Called customer care and the only solution given was to push it firmly against my skin for 3-5minutes. Obviously it fell again short after, but they did not provide further solution. This product is not properly designed on the usability side
Does not stick well. Tried to take it easy with it on. Had to tap on down with i. 16 hours of application. Tried to follow the guide. Keeps having problems with it staying on. Even used a tegaderm 2 times. After light yard work. Was trying to get it to stick the one of the electrode gel tab fell off.
Symptom reporting is too limited.. There’s no way to report the onset and possible end on a symptom report. For example I can tell when afib starts within a minute or two. The symptom report asks how long the symptoms last before the afib ends. Not a good way to report something meaningful.
Accountability. Wearing my Zio and tracking symptoms through the app has been easier than I thought it would be! It has helped to hold me accountable for recording as well. It’s so simple that I’m more than happy to do it!
My comments !. Sometimes I need more opportunity to explain. It’s not always for example: more than an hour, it was all day! Also be able to say I walked for excercise while lightheaded !
Convenient but…. This is a convenient app but the graphics do not fit on the screen even if you flip the phone from portrait to landscape. I looked up the options… and thus to log the incident, but would be better to see all options clearly.
Could Improve. Tracking symptoms is easy but I wish I could write more notes about what I’m feeling. I also hate logging in so often on phone. I don’t prefer giving my facial recognition to the company as the alternative.
MyZio. It’s really a helpful device, it makes it easy for me to explain what I exactly feel and makes it easy for my Dr. Provider to understand what I feel. 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Missing ability for reading with acute event. I had the Zio applied in our local Emergency Department and had multiple events the next day and returned to ED. It would have been very helpful for them to be able to read it.
Heart Monitor. This was pretty easy to wear but wasn’t too easy so as to accidentally hit the button. Logging in to report an incident was easy as well. I am hopeful this extended monitoring will assist my doctor and I going forward with my healthcare.
ZIO placement. Due to the excessive adipose tissue I house, the ZIO loosened every time I moved my left arm. If it was angled a little differently when put on, I believe it wouldn’t have been the pia that it was keeping it with a good connection.
Keyboard. After signing in, the keyboard will not go away. This problem makes it impossible to see the bottom of the screen. Why can’t I see the status of monitors returned? Why can’t I get copies of the reports from using the monitor?
On vacation. The adhesive is itchy at times, but tolerable. Most importantly, about the monitor, is that it gave me an immediate sense of comfort, knowing that I wouldn’t be alone if symptoms gave me concern during my short vacation.
Necessary test. This thing came loose while taking a shower on one side. I hope it’s recording all of these atrial fib sessions. It’s been on for a week. This is the first time I’ve had to use it.
Could Be So Much Better. App doesn’t talk to device, so during an episode you need to both push the device, then go to the app and log the symptom. Basically it’s just an app based log book. How about just logging in the app without having to push the device? If not, how about something to lauch the app when the device is pressed?
Very easy to put on and the app is easy to use. The instructions are very easy to follow. And has a video as well. Love that! When you have a symptom it’s very easy to add as well! The app is easy to use! All these are so important!
Problems with app. No way to give additional information when there is an episode. Also, it seems like the app has to be in a Wi-Fi area or a person has to have data to be able to make an entry. You should be able to make an entry when you are not in Wi-Fi or if you don’t have data plan and then have it update when you get back into the Wi-Fi area.
App is way better than the journal.. The app is simple, straightforward, and easy to use. It is so much more convenient than the paper journal. Definitely can recommend it.
Monitor. The experience of wearing the monitor was exciting! I enjoyed the push button when feeling symptoms. The explanation for pushing the button was very easy to do. High Fives to everyone!!! Thank you for your service!
Take care of yourself kids. Got this after a bizarre lightheadedness incident; it’s kind of surprising when you log all the symptoms; easy to do though on the app The monitor doesn’t bother me, it’s easy to wear, sometimes it itches though.
Slow to give access to user name and password. Maybe just my phone but app is slow to give access to signing in and opening password
