TERRIBLE!!!!!. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE APP! I have never had so much frustration and headache while using a website before. I even had to go out of my way to download this app in hopes that someone from wix will see it. I have been using the website online online on the web and i can honestly say it is the worst experience i have ever had, seriously, made me want to punch a hole in a wall a couple time. The user interface is terrible, its not intuitive at all, changing a simple line of text become some mission impossible of work around, and many many bugs while trying to build and launch my website. I think this anger and frustration mainly comes after having used GoDaddy website builder which is MUCH BETTER!!! For anyone reading this, that’s where i would recommend to build a website. The easiness and the simplicity really made the entire experience much better than here on wix, honestly.

Where do I go for help?!?. I downloaded this to create a blog, just a simple blog. When I was having trouble actually getting it to publish the page there was a help link. Now that it has published, the help link is gone and there is no one to help with issues. Every time I log in the ‘My Site’ stuff seems to have multiplied and the garbage that I hid the last time is back. Since I am using it for a blog, I don’t need invoices or payments or marketing campaigns or any of that stuff. Nor should I have to hide it every time. I just want to be able to open the app, write, and post. You/your site had a great rating just for that. Now I am starting to wonder if I made the right choice.

App is buggy and frustrating to use. I don’t usually take time to write reviews, but this app is pretty bad. The messaging component is hot garbage. Sometimes the send button doesn’t work, the cursor moves when you type causing typos, it’s extremely laggy, and sometimes you can’t see what you’re typing because the keyboard covers up the input field. Sometimes when you send a message it looks like it’s coming from the other user. Often times have to kill the app and relaunch for bugs to go away. You also can’t do something as simple as search your subscribers? App freezes up pretty often, buttons just don’t work, and it’s very annoying. Overall the app displays the data I want to see, and allows me to interact with my customers, but they need to do some serious work on the UX.

Glitches. I’ve continued to have glitches where I’ll spend hours working on a blog, go to add a photo or video, when the pic or video is picked the app goes back to the blog post to a blank screen where you can only see the top bar (X Create Post Next), nothing else. Clicking “next” or “x” does nothing. So I have to exit out of the app, which deletes all my hard work. This has happened MULTIPLE times this past week. I have the latest update, my phone is an iPhone 13 Pro Max. And I’m sick of it. Also, I signed up on my iPhone using my iCloud. It didn’t let me make a password bc it used my iCloud info. I’ve tried to log onto my laptop and can’t because I never created a password and the app won’t let me reset my password- even by using the blocked iCloud fake email.

Bad support. This website probably doesn’t deserve one star but you’re getting it from me. I’m upset that if I go to the website for this app and the support page is garbage. Someone created a fake account using another paid subscription websites name and is using my pictures WITHOUT my permission and is using fake videos and pictures of me to sell subscription and there’s no way to email the website to take down the page. I called for expert support and they couldn’t help and asked me to email the abuse department which isn’t on their website to begin with. The webpage needs to be taken down NOW without excuse. It is a complete fraud and the fact that they allowed people to make money off of that without verifying the person first is disguising.

Below average. Over all just a decent app, recently I did not receive payouts for a month with no explanation or warning and if I would’ve went 2 more days with out noticing the funds would have been returned to clients for services that were already provided This platform has many small things that need to be fixed; only clients get appointment reminders the only way for employees or owners to get reminders is to set up automations which only allows a emailed reminder :/ which isn’t helpful Editing bookings is limited; when editing a future appointment you are unable to edit the actual service if a client wishes to change something (unless it’s the time or date) which throws off all of the statistics and revenue if the services have price differences or add ons and also time differences which can leave you over booked if you don’t manually change the time frame and remember that the appointment isn’t what’s actually shown (EX: a client books hair coloring service then only wants a wash … you have to manually change the time frame and verbally give them a new price and remember said price and there’s is no way to adjust the new price for this service so the income is updated or just simply for peace of mind to see what your day actually look like in the calendar because it will still appear as the initial service they booked for and the only way around it is for them to cancel and rebook with a new deposit )

Almost want to love it.. I’ve been a fan of Wix for a long time. We run a service based company and our website and other features run great! We started to use the Contact List. It works great on desktop, but on the mobile app it doesn’t seem to format every field properly. For example, if a text field has more then what fits in the screen, the app doesn’t wrap the text. Also, on an IPad it looks like some text fields don’t align right on the screen. This is a bit annoying because you have to then go in and try to edit the customer to read what is on that text field. If you guys could address this it would make a lot of lives a bit easier. Thank you!

TOO TEDIOUS. The entire Wix site and app are beyond disappointing. It’s like once you have an account you can’t do anything to it unless you “upgrade” to the “Premium” account. BUT once you upgrade to the “Premium Account”, you STILL CANT do much until you DOWNLOAD the Wix Owner app, once you upgrade then you still have to get on the web browser just to connect a domain that you already own, once you’re logged in on your web browser it tells you that you have to have another app just to connect. Mind you, I’m already PAYING premium price, I shouldn’t have to keep downloading 1000 different apps just to operate and design my site. Totally disappointing and just too complicated for no reason. I will be canceling and going with a company who is a ONE STOP SHOP, not one with all the extra additives; it’s truly ruined the consumer experience by making things too tedious too deal with.

Steal your money and waste your time!. This app and website is the worst on building and creating a website! Simply because they ask you what plan you want and no matter what plan you choose if you don’t pay for a full year they don’t publish your website! They stole my money! I want my money back and will leave this trash and will advise everyone to avoid it according to my recent experience and my previous experience too! I created a website with them for almost 4 years and all of sadden they banned it; no costumer service or WIX representative contacted me at all! I tried thousand times to get my website back and I couldn’t! So, I decided to create a new one paid $36 monthly, but my website is not published just because I did not choose the yearly f plan!!! The least yearly plan costs something like $350! With that money you can give it to a computer expert and he/she will create you the best website! WIX is the worst and all good feedback for it had been written by the wix team apparently! The worst experience I’ve ever had! Don’t waste your time or your money! Save it and find a better way! WIX IS Not recommended at all! And yes, I want my money back and I don’t need your trashy website! I’m done! But will talk everywhere about this and how they steal money and give nothing and no service! This should be reported and be banned! It’s not acceptable at all!

Works about 25% of the time. I have been using this app for about three weeks now, and I have never had more trouble with any other app. I only use the blog. I am traveling abroad and use it to update my family with photos and descriptions. The galleries never upload, they often stop with one photo still loading, which never loads, no matter how many hours I wait. My saved drafts sometimes delete blocks of text, so I don’t trust the app anymore and just store it in my notes. When I try to upload either galleries or videos, selecting that option only works half the time. After clicking the option, the menu closes but nothing happens. My Wi-Fi connection is great. I have installed and uninstalled the app numerous times. I have no idea why this app has such great reviews. It’s pretty terrible.

Edit. Recently, I create a website using my iPad Safari browser. Logically, you would think, “Hey, I could continue to edit the site via an iPad.” But you can not. I do not understand, the fact I can create a Wix website with iPad, yet can not edit my website, now published, on my iPad. I’m by no way extremely tech savvy. But, this has nothing to do with my savy-ness. I see the auto response “I must use a desktop or laptop” or I can use the “Wix mobile owner app” to edit. There is not an option currently to do so via Wix Mobile Owner app. Mixed messages. Fix. Why did I not get this before I created a website through Wix? I probably would have not used your company. I own just an iPad. Purposefully. Neither can I afford a laptop or desktop. Just iPad works with my budget. In order for me to edit my site, I must go to a public library to use a computer station. Ugh😫 I left Square because they were not handling well, at all, their transition into one company(Weebly & Square). The lack of knowledge navigating customers was less than helpful. Horrible. Now, I have purchased a Premium website with Wix. I heard great things about Wix. So, I was excited. Not so much anymore.

Voice to text issues. Voice to text function still isn’t working when we reply to customers in the app. It deletes the reply. Sometimes doing it again it works. Issues with iPhones and ipads. To further explain: When a customer sends an email to us and we go on the app to respond. Using the microphone for voice to text in the reply while on the app, after we finish replying and click the microphone symbol to stop voice to text, everything that was typed out from voice to text gets erased immediately. Then we repeat the process and sometimes that works, still frustrating, and sometimes we even have to do it 3 times.

Love Wix!!!. I am a local bakery business owner to the Stone Mountain, GA area and just started my website in wix a little over a month ago and I love the app! I was intimidated at first to create a website in my own but wix made it very easy and user friendly and I love it! One issue I have is in creating invoices on the mobile app. When you select the due date and go to preview the invoice it gives you the date before the date you selected. So then I have to go back in to edit the invoice and choose the date after the due date actually want in order to get the correct date. I hope this can be fixed soon! I have recommended wix to other local business owners looking for a great and easy way to build their own website. You guys have done a great job!

Losing functionality. What happened to the calendar? It used to be easier to book people for services on the app than on the desktop, and now the calendar does not appear in the app at all. I can’t even check my bookings for the day. What the what???? Also, there is no help feature in the app. And speaking of bookings, you should be able to tie a booking to an order. My clients order and then we schedule a pickup time. It would be great if I could link services to orders so I could check their booking and order all on the same page. But first you need to bring the calendar back. How can you run a business without mobile access to your calendar?

Is it a Builder or not?. Three stars bc I dont want to tank your ratings if I’m just being dumb. But I downloaded this app because I love using Wix as a medium for my various creative projects, and I’ve slowly stopped doing web design because its inconvenient to access my desktop computer and build/edit websites. So I found your app here, which claims to be a web builder, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to actually do any web building/editing via this app. I figured out how to see a list of my preexisting sites, but clicking on them brings me to some kind of analytics page and there doesn't seem to be a way to get to an editor from there. A cute little popup keeps telling me I can access more features if I pay for a subscription— but if its free to build and publish online, so I don't see why I should need a subscription to do it via the app. Like I said, maybe I just cant find it. But if this app is really not for building and editing your website then it really shouldn't be calling itself a web builder, I think.

ACTIVE OWNER (10 Months) / RECORDING STUDIO. I am a local recording studio owner (STUDIO 302) based out of Rhode Island and soon a warehouse near you! I love the wix app, it is very attractive and response. Been using it for 10 months now, and the update on the “Spaces” app has been great. One issue I have (which is less of a issue and more of a methods issue) is I have multiple engineers who work for me; and so we have multiple staff to choice from for bookings. Which is great until a client tries to book, and they can book the same time as someone else’s session. Imagine a barber shop with one chair and 3 barbers. Our clients keep getting confused. (There is no setting for this ; yet. I was told) Thanks to the wix customer service team member who responded to me with the quick way to work around. I hope to see this implicated in the near future! Will make me stay forever!

Be Careful with your subscription plans! No refunds!. So it turns out if you change your subscription plans. They still continue to charge you for the previous one. You can basically have multiple plans on one account. Even if they are not connected to your website. I decided to try the unlimited business plan. I wasn't getting a lot on sales so I went back to a regular website with no store and decided to pay for a full year (probably a bad idea cause now i have no leverage). I check back and there still charging me monthly! I decided to give a call and they said I was able to submit a special request. REFUND DENIED. Even though i wasnt using the $38ish a month subscription. So one year from now I guess ill get a professional website built. Not by wix of course!

Wix doesn’t care about customers. I used the Wix website platform for a personal website and it was fairly straightforward to use. However, I had assumed that a “yearly” premium plan is just that - yearly, and after that it would automatically expire. Nope. I’m a college student and unable to afford another year’s’ subscription, yet it automatically billed one four days ago. I didn’t have access to my email while I was abroad and couldn’t see the one measly “reminder” it sent out. The worst part? Wix denied me a refund in less than an hour after I requested one. No understanding for my situation at all. I’ve also seen others mention that Wix billed them after they canceled their subscription. I want to warn others (esp college students)that Wix is just looking for easy ways to hang onto your money, neglecting to adequately remind you to cancel.

Ignoring Customer Needs, Charging For Essentials. Wix has been a reliable choice for our business, but there's one glaring issue that's been persistently ignored by the developers. As a service business, we urgently need the ability to view and create invoices and quotes on the mobile app, a fundamental feature that's become standard in virtually every other CRM. We've made repeated pleas to the developers for this essential addition, yet our requests have fallen on deaf ears. What's even more frustrating is that Wix recently decided to monetize this basic functionality, making it an additional paid feature. This not only feels like a slap in the face to loyal users but also highlights a concerning disregard for the needs and voices of their customer base. It's time for Wix to listen and make essential improvements, or risk alienating more loyal customers like us who have supported their platform.

stop making things harder to use. why do you guys keep changing everything? It’s so frustrating. I have relied on spaces to manage my bookings as a massage therapist, and now there’s this new app I can’t access my original bookings on spaces anymore…and it automatically opens this new app when I try to go to my old dashboard but I have to “create now” in the wix owner dashboard in order to access my bookings that I constantly need to manage? I don’t have time for this. I don’t understand how to get to my bookings and I don’t want to edit or change anything in regards to the look on my phone. I do that on my computer. It’s just extremely frustrating i do not feel the ease of my business is supported by Wix apps. In Wix spaces when I needed to book a client the day of the week wouldn’t even show it would just show month/date/year and I discuss my bookings as days of the week with clients “next Wednesday?” they took the days of the week off when booking and it was always just one thing after another that never helps.

Great design- if only it worked. I’m actually writing this as a request to wix to please stop the app from constantly telling me something went wrong and I have to refresh. Every time I look at something I have to refresh, close, open, etc at least 10 times. Sounds like I’m exaggerating and I wish I was, but I’m not. Sometimes I just give up and try again later. I understand that there may be days or times when something is happening in the technology world but I’ve been using this app for several months now and it’s like this every day, every time I use it. I need to be able to run my business without constant frustration. Please, please, please fix your app.

Things I’d like to see in Store Owner app. I have been using the Wix website builder and Store Owner app for about 6 years. I really like the ease of everything! But… 1. When I create an invoice in the phone app, there is no option for “Invoice and Order” which will send invoice and generate an order when invoice is paid. I must go to my office desktop to do so. 2. When I use this option and send invoice /generate order - the app does not allow me to print shipping label, nor does it show that the invoice order is fulfilled. Being able to do both of these in app would be awesome. 3. And lastly, bring able to select “free shipping” for individual products would be very helpful. I am currently using the eGift Card - using it for a product rather than Gift Card so that no shipping rate is applied at checkout. Because the app reads it as the eGift Card, there is no option at checkout to offer a free shipping coupon. A work around for this would be awesome too! Keep up the good work!

A little Glitchy. I have tried a lot of different website builders and I love wix the most. I love how versatile and easy to navigate it is. However, the app is pretty glitchy even after updating the device and the app. Ive had issues before with images on the business number texting not loading in the past which is essential to my business but has now seemed to be fixed. But there are lots of other glitches here and there that can be a little frustrating. But it is a small price to pay for how many amazing features wix has to offer with businesses. I am a tattoo artist and i use this app for my website, to make appointments, to text my clients, sell merchandise, have clients sign consent forms, potential clients submit consultation forms, and overall keep track of my clients and send automated emails and texts with instructions, and following up on the healing process, and to leave a review. It is definitely by far the best app for what i am doing. I just wish the app wasn’t so glitchy. The desktop website seems to work fine.

Lots of issues writing blog posts on data. This app is a nightmare to use when writing/updating blog posts - especially when your internet connection is not perfect. Uploading photos is especially infuriating. Unless you have a perfectly stable 50mbps or faster connection (on my IPhone 12 Pro, I don’t always get this good of a connection on LTE), uploads will fail. Once a single upload fails, no more uploads will work until the app is restarted. There are buttons that say they allow you to “retry upload” but that button is a dead end and doesn’t do anything. You will not have another successful upload again, no matter the internet connection, unless you fully close and reopen the app. Often, after an unsuccessful photo upload, I can’t even save a draft of my post, so any progress I have made is lost. Updating my blog can take many infuriating hours of trying over and over again. The same problem with photo uploads happens with draft uploads. When you click “save as draft”, if the draft upload doesn’t work immediately (this happens often with LTE connection), you have no hope at saving your draft. You must lose your work and close/reopen the app to get anything to save. There is also no cue to tell you that a draft upload was successful or if it failed. Developers: PLEASE look at/fix/redesign the way your app interacts with the internet! I don’t want to have to move to another platform!! You are a web development company! This app shouldn’t feel like a beta!

So frustrated with Wix. Honestly. How many people in the world have devices? Ipad? We STILL can’t decently edit a website on an ipad. And this useless app where, for some of our purposes, all we can do is *look* but not actually *do* anything. No editing site? I’m on an ipad pro with a keyboard and pen and can do literally EVERYTHING else I’ve wanted to do. But I can’t edit our website. Not on Safari. Not on Penguin. Not on Chrome. And apparently now also not on Firefox. Cannot do the SIMPLEST task of changing the height of a header. I can SEE the click and drag, but I’ll be darned if I can grab and USE it on ANY browser. Why is this? It’s 2024. People don’t, by default, sit at home on a desktop working on stuff like this. People work remotely. Not everyone has a laptop. How is Wix so far behind? Being able to click and drag the height of a header is like website building 101. Basic function. But can’t do it. Why bother using Wix?

SCAM! TERRIBLE Cancellation Policy & Customer Service. WIX is terrible. They make billions off the fine print. 1. Way too expensive and 2. They don’t tell you how terrible their cancellation policy and customer service is. It’s a complete scam. Don’t ever expect to talk to a real human. They don’t even have humans working customer service so the billions they are making are going to a select few I’m sure. I’ve thrown away hundreds of dollars accidentally clicking the wrong thing (because instructions are also terrible) and no one existed to help me. I had to submit an email request and it was simply just denied by a bot. They try to get you with discounts and then lock you in to a minimum of a year and the cancellation period to get a refund is only 14 days. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Love but could improve.. I love everything about this except the invoicing. I would love if you use square for invoicing that it were synced or setup to the actual square app. It would be very convenient if my sales and payments showed on both my website and also my square up so I can see what I need to on both apps. It’s too time consuming having to create a custom invoice for every order for different sizing whereas square invoices you can have say a set price for tees and then variants for sizing and whatnot that will automatically add the cost for that size. Even better would be to somehow sync your website items into your square app.

So far so descent. The app is easy to use and simple but I do have a few issues. 1. My notifications keep piling up and I am alerted but I cannot get the app to open the notifications “bell”. I tap on it to open but it just keeps cycling and cycling. Even when it did open it hadn’t actually updated the notifications in weeks. 2. My service is a subscription where people can change the amount of bins they need. There seems to be no simple way how to make this adjustment on the subscribers end of the webpage. They have to cancel and resubscribe which seems overly complicated.

Need of a MAJOR Fix. I don’t really mind the rest of the app, it’s intuitive enough, but the biggest issue I have comes with uploading photos from my iPhone. Every time I try, the app doesn’t do anything at all. I’ve tried switching from selected photos and all photos options on my device, but it never opens my photos to select for upload. It’s really frustrating as I need these photos for my blog posts and sometimes I’m away from home. I want to meet my personal deadlines, but it’s difficult when I’m away from my core computer. I thought this would be a great alternative, but as is, it’s only frustrating.

All over the place and frustrating. If I can start over, I wouldn’t have started my business with Wix. Wix is really all over the place, slow and really frustrating trying to understand how to use. I’ve gotten close to punching a hole through my laptop. I’ve had this website for almost a year now and I still hate it. It’s so difficult trying to figure out how to do basic things. I sell clothing and want to display it in a way that shouldn’t be such a hassle. But of course Wix makes it so difficult to do I hate Wix so much I would give it 0 stars if I could. A lot of how you build your website on here is so brainless like I don’t know why they make it so difficult to do basic things !! Maybe for other types of businesses it’s good, but for selling products it’s beyond annoying. Thanks for such a terrible website builder wix 🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽😐

Mostly happy with this app. I love wix. I switched over to them from Wordpress (which they are a great company as welll). With Wix, I have an easier time building my site. Their app isn’t as intuitive or as organized as I would like it to be. I could make edits to my actual site on the Wordpress app and editing blogs was a smooth experience. I find the wix app to be a bit slow and editing the spaces between paragraphs via web browser is seem less while on the app it doesn’t show up the same way. I feel the menu is too stuffed. It takes multiple clicks to get where I want to. Even with all that, it’s a fun app to use, write with, and manage aspects of my online business endeavors. 4 stars.

Little Did I Know!. This app is wonderful, but I was unable to access my website. I recently moved changed states and address, I was unable to update such event and produced two new litters was unable to update website to let customers know who have been waiting for my service for over almost three years for a purchase from me. My phone and desktop was unable to access Wix for me to make such changes. I normally sell all my inventory within three weeks and by the grace of god, I sold all by week twelve. I normally sell my product for $7000 apiece and because I was unable to access my website and update to make changes I had to drop my prices to $3000 so no I did not make even a profit. If you can’t help, then I’m gonna have to find another app that I can design a new website that will work better for me. Please let me know.

Wix lacks customer service. Subject: Extremely Displeased with Company's Refund Policy Dear WIX, I am writing to express my frustration and anger regarding your company's refund policy. I recently made a purchase from your website of premium, which turned out to be defective and unusable. When I contacted your customer service department, I was informed that I am not eligible for a refund, and I would have to get the item repaired or replaced. This is completely unacceptable and unfair. Why should I have to waste my time and money fixing something that I paid good money for and should have been in working order? Your company's lack of a proper refund policy reflects poorly on your commitment to customer satisfaction and quality products. I demand an immediate refund for my purchase, as I have the right to expect a product that is in good working condition. It is unjust and unacceptable that I should be forced to keep a faulty product and be subjected to additional expenses. If your company truly values its customers, then it needs to take responsibility for the faulty products that it sells and provide a satisfactory solution for customers who have received defective items. Otherwise, I will have no other choice but to take further legal action and escalate this matter to the appropriate authorities. I eagerly await your prompt response and resolution of this matter. A Cautionary Tale of Frustration and Disappointment with Online Programs. To anyone considering Online Programs for their business, I implore you to look elsewhere. The allure of attractive designs is quickly overshadowed by the reality of operational incompetence. Your clients, your brand, and your peace of mind deserve better. In essence, Wix's inability to deliver on its basic promise—providing paying clients with access to the content they've purchased—has not only tarnished its reputation but has also severely impacted our business and client relationships. The damage done is not just to our bottom line but to our brand's integrity and trustworthiness. Imagine the scenario – clients, convinced by the visually appealing designs and the promises of seamless content access, decide to make a purchase. The payment goes through. Yet, the moment they attempt to access what they've paid for, they're met with insurmountable barriers. This isn't just a one-off technical glitch; it's a recurring nightmare that I, and seemingly countless others, have been subjected to.

A complete waste of my time.. I downloaded wix after reading the app description and all. Nowhere did I find that in order to publish my website, I’d have to pay a subscription plan. I am broke at the moment, and that’s why I’d downloaded the app instead of Commissioning a web developer. I understand that wix developers need money for their work, I just wish SOMEONE who wrote in that it’s not free BEFORE I’d completed building my website. I wasted my time designing a website I can’t even use. The only reason I’m giving the app 2 stars is because I understand why the app makers have this subscription plan in place. All I ask is that you add in a warning of sorts at the sign up process to let everyone know you WILL be charging them to publish their website. AND PLEASE NOT IN FINE PRINT!!! NO ONE WILL READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND YOU KNOW IT!!! I just really don’t want anyone else to have this same experience. It’s really frustrating.

My first ever review… Wix was that frustrating. For a website builder app with an explicit blog function I would have thought that the functionality of basic features would work. I couldn’t load more then the first 20 recent images of my camera roll to be able to include them in any sort of content. The app was slow, glitchy, and overall just a terrible mobile experience with a lack of basic functionality. If we hadn’t originally made our blog in Wix I would have taken it to literally ANY other competitor because of the frustrations I’ve experienced. Seriously, only get this app if you absolutely must or you have a hundred hours to wait while things load. Also the customer support is ABYSMAL. Seriously, I now recommend weebly! I would even recommend posting and delivering content via carrier pigeon it would be more impactful and user friendly!!!

App no longer works. Customer support nonexistent. My Wix Owner app has been glitchy for several months and finally to the point where the chat box goes completely blank except for the visitor number. I have reached out to the Wix company and they claimed that Support was working on it but I have not received any email and the person, whose tried to help me is not very competent. She has a lot of problems understanding the English language. I really need this app to work as a business owner because it has helped me in so many ways and I have no idea what went wrong with it. I’ve since done my own troubleshooting many many times by either turning my phone on and off and or reinstalling the app. I have reinstalled the app over 30 times and every single time the visitor and the chat box no longer work. This has been one of the top number one benefits of having a website with Wix. I may have to seek another company. I just looked at how to contact this app developer, and there is literally no support. Instead, it takes you to a help center that does not answer any of the troubleshooting issues at all.

Not perfect, minor bugs. I’ve used Wix mobile and desktop editor for about five months now. It’s intuitive, I like the website builder dashboard and all the analytics and tools built into it. I would enjoy it more, but most of the apps I wanted to integrate into my Wix website usually average around 1-star, which really limited the features I could actually use, because the apps don’t actually work well. Any spacing changes I make to sections through the desktop editor removes all the negative space I apply to sections in the mobile editor, although they are supposed to function somewhat independently. I tried to speak to a representative about an issue I am experiencing where one of my pages continually loads, but they just pointed me to forums and told me to clear my browser cache and to use responsive elements. I already did all of those things and the issue remains unresolved. All of my media is highly compressed and all of the page elements are responsive and made for mobile, but this one page continually crashes even after all of my solo troubleshooting. Ultimately, my website is fine for now, but I may consider other options with the amount of bugs I have experienced and when my annual subscription expires.

DIFFICULT to use and NO SUPPORT. I hate Wix. It is SO difficult to use, edits never load, the editing app crashes while editing. I would not recommend Wix to anyone. I have been working on my Wix site forever trying to problem solve through an issue with my Pages in Wix and nothing can be fixed. In fact, half of my website reverted back to its ORIGINAL template format! So irritating! Nothing but frustrations. I contacted them this morning to ask for my 3-year subscription back, but I would carry through this year but still pay for one year and take the loss for a pretty much unusable site. It was denied, and now I am stuck with a $400+ investment that I have spent HOURS on and have come to the conclusion that I cannot fix. If I could give this review 0 stars, I 100% would. Don’t use Wix. Don’t make my mistake.

Difficult. Wix was not easy to use and trying to get someone to help is a joke. Sure u can chat, can’t find an email u go in circles. Building the site is complicated. I only had it 3 days and during a trial but they took out my $53 subscription anyways I canceled my subscription and my account 3 days later well within the 7 day window. Finally got assistance thru chat but that was short lived as they said they see everything but didn’t see my request to get refunded, naturally. I still have not got refunded nor has anyone reached out. Do they not have a regular customer support email since chats and call back take up too much time and the wait time is so long!? I recommend only using Wix if you know more than beginner and more than intermediate level on web building.

Not What I Expected. So, things were perfectly fine at first. I was very excited to start my new journey as a blogger but then things got weird. I’ve advertisements and sponsorships of yours that usually discuss how “easy” and “fun” your app/site it but it’s kind of all over the place. It’s said to simple but some parts of it doesn’t really make sense. I can’t tell what I’m supposed to do from the get-go, which is the exact opposite from what you advertised. I’m very thankful an app/site like this exists but I wish it was simpler to use and not all messy. Like, seriously, starting from the get-go there were these most likely generic, already made posts I’m guessing everyone gets. The thing is, I don’t know why they’re there or how I could get rid of it since it’s kind of annoying. Also, I can’t tell if the name of my site is cut off or if I misspelled something or y’all misspelled it for some reason. It isn’t clarified and it’s not like it’s easy to change my site’s name on the app. In conclusion, I want to know, with a clear answer, what’s going on and why is it advertised to be simpler when really it’s stress inducing?

Don’t gaslight me. Dropping this review by one star after complaining here —2 versions ago — and being directed via “developer response“ to email them with my problem. I I use this app to respond to website inquiries. You have a bug. It’s an accessibility bug and perhaps the nimble fingered amongst you don’t care, but speech to text disappears as soon as you finish dictating. I first pointed it out through the feedback link in the app. Bugs are normal, and no point shaming anyone publicly. But after I got no response, and after a few updates, I posted my grievance here in a negative review. I was directed to get in touch via email, where I documented the issue with a video. Again, no response. Two updates later, I’m updating my review. I’m halfway expecting the same reply to this one.

Scheduled blog post can’t be filtered by date. Scheduled blog post can’t be filtered by date, which makes it difficult to figure out what dates you have posts scheduled for and which still need it. Makes the blog post feature much less usable through mobile. Web automatically sorts scheduled blog posts by date. Mobile only has the option to sort by author or category. Seems like it should be an easy fix to make the feature usable. I was hoping to be able to create blog posts on my iPad during downtime, but it’s not very easy to figure out where I need posts to decide on topics (ie, if I have a missing post in October near Halloween, that will have a different theme and undertone than if the missing post is in the spring). Seems like it shouldn’t be a hard fix to make this much more functional.

It’s good.. The System works good. One thing I have been wanting to work better is listening to the phone recordings. When listening to recordings, is it possible for you guys to add a playback speed to help skip ahead if you accidentally back out or it stops for any reason. It doesn’t always want to play when tapping to a spot on time line and dragging the time dot is very glitchy. Most of the time it drags right to the end and it’s very hard to get close to the spot you want to start listening to. So play back speed and maybe a 1 minute fast forward and a 1 minute rewind would be great additions to listening to phone recordings.

2 Businesses with Wix. I’ve used Wix from day of starting my first business and now also with my 2nd. I used it at my juicebar for online ordering and for my website for my yoga studio. One of my biggest issue is with how wix calendars are set up. It would be great if they can pull up a full month view in order to see the class schedule, by day, week AND month. It was the reason I had to use another app for my class bookings. If wix can work this ONE feature out, I’d probably use wix for everything I need because it’s been pretty good for us.

Restaurants App review (because they won’t let you write a review on the website anymore). Overall I enjoy Wix. Or at least I have been. Wix started out as a great website for people who have small businesses and just needed something they could easily manage and adjust by themselves. Then came table reservations, the app. What a mess of an app. Over complicated. Unnecessary. And worst of all they didn’t give the option to continue using their original app which was simple, easy, no buttons or bells and whistles. Customer puts in information, we receive it. Bam, done. Now rather than just a simple drop down, it’s drop downs leading to buttons leading to issues where people who aren’t tech savvy and trying to figure out how to use our site! On top of all of that, we are a small business. We run on pen and paper for our reservations. This app practically requires the use of a tablet or phone. That’s not doable for a small business. We expressed this concern to the product developer and their answer? “Buy a tablet” do you realize how hard it is to have unnecessary expenses like that right now? Pen and paper is fine and your only answer is buy a tablet?! Lucky for us we have a champion of a manager at the restaurant to was willing to put the app on her phone. But what a ridiculous thing that she has to do that in order for our website to work. Bring back the mentality of having Wix be a small business friendly website. Not everyone can afford all the bells and whistles.

Getting better. I like Wix, it’s definitely getting better. There are a couple things I wish they would update. The first being able to use subscriptions on digital products in the e-commerce. The second being able to have your customers upload multiple audio files to your site, or a zip folder with larger file sizes. I run an audio website for mixing engineers and producers at mix-off dot com, and I need the ability to have users upload and download multiple audio files or zip folders up to a couple gigs. The rest of it is great other than those two issues.

Stop changing things!!!!!. I am forced to use this app because I used Wix to make my online store and website. I cannot tell you how many times they have made my life difficult because they constantly feel the need to "update" their App!! With every update they've made they've made it much more difficult for me to manage my store/orders! Back in early 2018 when I first started using them the App was AWESOME! I loved it! It was so easy to use and made my running my business so easy. Since then they have constantly messed with it, making it very difficult for me. Today, they made me update the App in order to view my orders...and now they are also forcing me to get another App installed to view my orders! This is insane! PLEASE PLEASE STOP THIS! That old saying...."if it ain't broke... don't fix it" could teach you something here!

Wix won’t allow us to accept payments..... If zero stars was an option that would have been my choice. They took away our payments!!! How am I to have a website that I cannot accept payment on? So Wix once again has decided to make it even more difficult for store owners to manage and update our websites. They’ve also completely taken away payment methods for free account holders, preventing us from making any sales through our websites, unless we upgrade to a premium account. So over the corporate greed. Trying to provide for my family has become impossible with the wix platform. They won’t even allow us to use PayPal!!!! Their prices are so outrageous I can’t afford to upgrade. But preventing shop owners from taking payments? That’s just wrong! What’s the point of even allowing the s to create sites for free then? I’ve been a wix user for years. The service and platform has only gotten worse over the years.

Randomly stops allowing payment requests. I’ve always used my Wix app to request payments. I use it several times a day and love that it lets me request payments Through my connected Facebook business page Messenger. But it only works for a little while through the app. It says I need to connect a payment system. I have been accepting payments all day every day for years so it isn’t that.. I really miss requesting payments on the fly through messenger. I keep uninstalling my app trying the other (spaces) app instead. Never had a problem until about two weeks ago when spaces launched. When I click to set up payment system to send a request, they have the green radio button “ON”.. I called twice and they remote controlled my computer etc etc saying it was a Setting on there but it works just fine to send a payment request through my Wix site inbox connected to my fb from there. Long story short, there’s a bug with the app and sending payment requests through inbox/messenger.

App dropping. The app keeps on dropping, I’m not able to upload any photos or videos. Despite updating it has gotten worse.

Update mania. 4 updates in 9 days, that’s real banana software. Don’t release your updates until it has been tested if it actually works. 350 megabytes sizes is completely unnecessary every time of a new release. Not happy.

So dumb.. For a company that is dedicated to design... They have the worst designed UX I have ever encountered, no ios standards and absolutely terrible flows to remove or edit anything. What is the point of these apps if they stuck so bad, I have my suspicion that the reviews are paid for, because these apps are terrible...

Restaurants - Reservations is a disgrace !!. This critical function for a restaurant or cafe or bar is always having problems. Has currently been not functioning for a few days now with no support whatsoever except “we’re looking into it”. Bookings for a restaurant are the lifeblood of their website & Wix just doesn’t care !!! Pay them a fortune & they can’t deliver basically functionality. You are costing my business enormously !!! Customers cannot make bookings at my restaurants !!! Fix the issue like the priority it deserves !!! I highly highly recommend NOT using Wix, their support is slow, they seem to just not care at all. But of course they are happy to take your money !!! Disgraceful !!!!

App won’t open. Update Testimonials STILL DOESNT LINK TO THE FACEBOOK BUSINESS PAGE and NOW there’s a number 1 showing on the app icon on the mobile Home Screen like an unread message but all messages are read! This is so frustrating!! FIX THIS APP!! 😡😡😡😡😡 I don’t know what’s worse, the app not opening or the fact that I’m paying through the nose for inffused testimonials, and I can’t even connect to Facebook! Get your act together, or I’m gonna take my business elsewhere! Fix the dam app, it won’t even open. I even tried offloading the app and reinstalling it, and it still won’t open! It’s now 3 years !! Now voice to text doesn’t work in the WIX APP so it fails to type what is said. I have a couple of staff who have MS and typing is often difficult for them so voice to text helps with communication with clients but it seems once they say something the text vanishes and or only partially typed. I also tried it and it did the same for me even after update and deleted and reinstalled. Same thing!! Fix it!!

Premium. Was easy to set up but once completed found out we had to upgrade to the premium plan to accept payments! Then we tried looking into the premium option but it’s not available!

Error with Hotels. Edit: issue is resolved. Thank you Original: When you open the Hotels page within the app, it opens multiple reservations at once. You then have to exit them all to view the calender. This continually happens whenever you try to do anything. And your online help is terrible. It asks you to login to get help, but the login link is broken.

App slow. Slow to update things. Sales is different from computer to phone and a few other important improvements like speed please improve to get close to shopify

Can’t figure out how to upload media. The older version you could upload media etc but can’t do anything like that now , I find it not very user friendly. I log in and doesn’t even give me an option for a portfolio as an automatic drop menu options. Only way I can is on a computer and most of the time I don’t get time to get on a computer and rather the mobile app for media to website . I have even googled help still doesn’t come up with the help it says on the app WIX so it is really useless for me .

Deleting Account with screen reader. Hi, I use a screen reader as I am blind and I am unable to delete my Wix account even on the website. I would email only I can't find the Wix support contact information on the website either. Is it possible the team could delete my account for me?

Terrible for iPads. Absolutely terrible for iPads. Online editor doesn’t load your website once you select your theme and the app doesn’t give you the range of themes that is available on the online version.

Sadly it’s hopeless. I get very frustrated with this app it constantly freezes when I have just about completed an ad, a bulk email and adding products ALL FREEZE WHEN YOU TRY TO ADD A PICTURE FROM YOUR PIC LIBRARY! So you have to go onto the website on a computer to complete.

New visitor to website not working. I just downloaded this but new site visitors not showing notifications on my iPhone. The wix spaces app does and works flawlessly. GLITCHY. I love using Wix. It’s a good price compared to other platforms BUT I have some issues. This app is slightly glitchy. I struggle to fill in product descriptions as it glitches or crashes and I get notifications for items out of stock and i go to look and no one has even brought them? So it makes me wonder , are people trying to buy my items but Wix glitches them out thus loosing me sales. It’s not fun. I need these issues fixed. (I know the out of stock thing is people trying to buy stuff too. I’ve had a friend try and make purchases from her cart just to end up having an order not go through and me getting OUT OF STOCK notifs yet no orders in my dashboard)

iPad. Stupid how you can’t edit your website from an iPad

APP is a bit useless. This app is a bit useless, as it’s always delayed or jams up. I had to delete from my phone and add again as it froze🤦‍♀️. Still a long way to go but better than nothing.

Not an editor. But “Create, grow, manage...”. ?!!. Why not describe accurately that this app *cannot* enable you to edit you website? (Edit: developer replied , but did not offer to fix the MISLEADING description of the app in its description. Sorry, but not sorry. QA fail. ) I’m on the road. Not at a desktop. Only after ten minutes wasted reading the app description, downloading, trying to log in, with three steps, *only then* do I discover “to edit your website, go to your wix account on (your) desktop”. Grrr. So that made the paragraphs of cheery description all the more annoying.

App Doesn’t Open on iPhone 14 After Update (Fixed). I’ve had to drop my review of the app down to a 1 star after a recent update stopped the app from getting past the Wix opening screen. I am unable to respond to customers on the go or check anything on my website due to this critical issue, and Wix has no contact number or email listed on their website for assistance. I cannot in good faith give them a good review when this is having a very bad effect on my business. UPDATE: After deleting the app and reinstalling it, the error was resolved. The Wix developer team also responded to the review with an update they had released to patch the issue. I have increased the review to 4 stars, as there are still some issues I have with the app but overall it’s useful.

Text editor could use work. The text editor for blog post content does not apply the principals of a capital letter after a full stop, nor does it support double tapping the space bar for a full stop. It doesn’t have autocorrect either.

App is frozen. Even with the latest update, the app doesn’t work. It is frozen. Nothing happens. It’s dead. Major fix required.

Can I have a refund?. Absolute headwreck. Cannot work out how to connect my domain via website which directs me to the app promo website every time and in the app keeps prompting me to sign up for premium even though I already have. Live chat does not work and have not received any reply from messages over a week old leading me to write this review in hope of a response.

Still Needs Work to Be Powerful. So i thought this would be helpful when on the road but it seems its quite clunky with a lot of little bugs. I have an iPad Pro with Logitech Cover and Keyboard to assist with data entry. I have updated this review as i found out the main issue was a setting in iOS not in the App. Having said that, the App is still clunky and needs a lot of work to be powerful to be a useful tool.

Buggy and crashes galore. This app needs alot of work. Ive wanted to edit my site on a number of occasions but before i can save anything the app crashes without saving. Also cant do much on it. Stick to the desktop this is a major waste of time.

Not worth the money.. Typing product descriptions has the same issues as the old app did. Editing pictures is also very clunky. Uploading products from the mobile app basically never works out properly and I have to go and edit them from my desktop anyway. Admittedly I am new to building an online store but this doesn’t feel intuitive at all. I’m very frustrated with wix generally and find their website dashboard really difficult to use. Some options that should be obvious and easy to find are either not options or very difficult to locate.

False advertising. Has website builder in the name but when I go and download it, it’s a glorified version of the dashboard. Can wix make a actual website builder for mobile or at least make the web version mobile compatible

Not all features. Why would you include all other website based features but not include price quotes on the mobile app?? If there is anything that would be useful to have on a mobile app, it is the ability to do a quick quote while away from the desk. Wix has fallen way short here and it undermines the usefulness of the whole app. Sorry but one missing feature brings the whole app down

Lots of problems. The moment I decided to download the app, I regretted it. When trying to edit your website descriptions, it doesn’t change. This is very annoying. It is not worth it if you are a begginner.

Can’t Add Products from ipad?. Enjoying the app, there’s a few bits with navigating how to rename photos that seem clunky but mainly enjoying so far. Have run into an error the last few days where I can’t add a new product, wondering if this is a live bug being investigated? Cheers Tom

Analytics keeps resetting. Every time the app load after it has been closed (not minimised) the analytics section on the dashboard resets to the default setting. Changing and saving the analytics layout works, until the app restarts and then it is back to the default settings again. Please fix this.

Great website, not on a mobile. I found it very easy and full of features when used on my laptop , once you try to do anything on a mobile phone it’s the worst experience ever . For an app that helps you make sites and Mobile sites this is very disappointing

Can’t edit my website. The interface for this is a nightmare. Not only can I not log in to my page to edit anything on my website, but whenever I get a notification of a site visitor it redirects me to download this app (which I already have). So what I’m left with effectively, is a dead-end website where I have no ability to interact with customers.

Horrible. I use the app for appointements. Horrible! They constantly do updates during work hours. They remove functions without notice. Every time they update the app there is an issue ! Right now session time randomly switches to AM time and can’t be set up to PM!! Basically no support because you have to send them emails and pray for them to answer just to tell you that they will be sending the ticket to someone else!! I will be switching to different provider! Those people are incompetent.

Now What?!. I set up my premium website and it says it is published but I keep getting an error code - 1200 when trying to view it...now what???There isn’t a help option on the app either!

Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Wix: Not Recommended. Wix has failed to uphold its own policy. The customer service is incredibly slow, and as a result, I cannot recommend this product to anyone.

No more live-streaming from app. Literally ruined my revenue from live streaming my yoga classes after the update no longer allowing to update from the app. Switching to a new site asap.

Perfect!. Everything about my site in one place. All my sales, all my bookings, site visits. So easy to navigate. If you have a Wix site, you need this. Very well designed app.

Easy to use software. This is my first time creating a website and Wix made it easy to do. My first few days of using Wix was smooth and stress-free but now for some reason everytime I try to make a change to my website and publish, the app says ERROR and it has been like this for 2 days now. Slow and keep crashing. The app is slow and it keeps crashing every single time. The modifications are not save and are not published on the website. I cannot work on my phone. It’s really annoying and a waste of time. Please fix it !

Update made it worse. The app was great until a recent update made invoicing my clients impossible from my phone.. removed the download as pdf option, why? Also hard to figure out how to duplicate an invoice, when before it was just a few clicks. I can’t share invoices with my clients any other way but through the wix automated website or by sending them a link. Please fix this.

Update Resets Analytics. The analytics widget on the Home Screen no longer saves the analytics you’ve selected to appear, every time you close the app it will reset them back to default. Extremely frustrating as this used to be an issue that was fixed in an update, and it’s now broken again due to an update.

Costumer support. 2 years ago I have purchased wix premium and without renewal they charge me 244 dollars and there is no way to reach costumer rep. This is sort of scam and money grab. I do not recommend any wix products ever.

Unable to edit website on iPad. The fact that you cannot edit your website directly via iPadOS but you have to switch to your desktop to make changes makes this app completely unusable for me. How come it’s possible in the Weebly app, just to name another app, but not this ‘premium’ platform? Very strange.

Really bad for operator operate on the phone. Can’t search any products on the phone for owner or operators

Hotel App integration needs work. I am using Wix for my accommodation business and integrated ‘Wix Hotels’, a premium function into my website to enable guest bookings and payment processing. Unfortunately the Wix owner App does not provide the same functionality as via web access, such as: Reservation calendar: No rate overlay! - this is a big one, as in the hospitality sector we constantly adjust rates, based on availability and comparable properties. The missing rate overlay for each date on the calendar almost negates the benefit of having one to begin with. Quick rate adjust - unfortunately nothing about this is quick on the app- you can’t select multiple dates at once - when the dialog finally opens, you can’t increase the date range to perform mass editing. Generally, the app (or it’s server) is very sluggish - I am on an enterprise level mesh network, with 150mbps download and 70mbps upload - the app speed is leaving a lot to be desired, up to the point I catch myself multi-tapping the same button as the app didn’t respond (iPhone 11 here, latest iOS with 100gb free storage and all apps closed in the background). I’ll keep updating this review, as I had planned on using the app more frequently (or perhaps not..)

Won’t let you upload Photos. This app won’t let me use only selected photos, and will only work if I give it full access to my photo library. It should function with only selected photos. The website I manage for an organization has no business having access to all the photos in my library. It’s creepy. Do better Wix

Slow. Extremely slow haven’t made a post yet because it keeps freezing.

Buggy. So many bugs. Causes HUGE problems for a booking based based business. We are looking at switching products cause of their problems.

Why is it so zoomed??. I run my business on my iPad. It says iPad compatible but in app and online, it zooms in on the site which makes it impossible to edit anything. And if you refresh or switch or delete and restart it zooms in more. Fix. Update: app sucks so hard which is so disappointing because I like their site designs.

All of my services have no availability. For the last two months all of the services I offer have no availability, I have tried fixing it but every time I hit save it says it encountered a problem 😂 not worth the time and sanity 👎🏻

User Unfriendly. I have had my wix website for over a year and I’ve never had so many problems with it. From clients unable to book, to constant errors on booking forum. It has been the most difficult to navigate.

Great Potential Hindered by SMS Bugs. I've been a loyal Wix user for years, and while the platform shows tremendous potential, the persistent bugs, especially in the SMS feature, are a significant drawback. Sending messages to clients is a hit-or-miss experience – some days it works flawlessly, while on others, I find myself constantly refreshing the app in the hope that the SMS function will function properly. This inconsistency is frustrating, especially as I rely on the SMS feature to communicate directly with my contacts without revealing my personal number. It raises the question: what am I paying for if the SMS feature doesn't work reliably? I hope Wix addresses these issues soon and considers a thorough investigation by their developers to ensure a more consistent user experience.

Used to love the app. I used to love this app and website and now can no longer upload photos from my phone. Wth

Worst support ever!. Wix, a couple years ago was incredible effective with their support. Now they became the worst! Impossible to join anybody. When you finally find somewhere how to join, you reach a junior with absolutely no knowledge on technicality… And that, is if you speak English… cause now the support is only by phone… and only English is possible… So they have great possibilities with many features, but DONT EXPECT SUPPORT, your are not a client you are an income. $

Blank website. I can’t create a blank website template for me.

Can’t edit. The page is cut in half so all I can do is go up and down on my website I think it’s broken

Absolutely terrible app.. I’ve never written a review but my god. I have been running my business website off this for over a year now and let me say this app as more issues than anything I’ve ever used. It shuts down 50/50 after you upload a new product and that’s if you’ve ever even get the product up! Try uploading photos for 5 min I garuntee half of them won’t work. And the ones that do won’t save because the other photos didn’t. This app is a bloody nightmare

Disappointed Againz. They seem to overcharge and have very limited support. I’m still researching my initial bill to understand why I was charged twice?! In a year’s time, at least three times their dashboard has failed to provide the data it promises for days! I like the map and table options for locations of traffic, but when they don’t work. It’s such a bummer. Happens way too often for the price. Limited page options. If you’re not selling something, this app isn’t for you.

Doesn’t let me access website. I purchased a domain for my website and now it won’t let me edit my website and when I look it up online my website doesn’t come up, it says “can’t connect to server. What did I just waste my money on?

Wix App. Since starting my small business, I’ve been a Wix user and have loved everything. The website is super easy to follow and user friendly. I also used the Wix Spaces App. The new Wix Owner app is just as great. To be honest it’s even more user friendly. Easy to manage and quick. Love how I can easily update my product inventory or post and review my orders at the touch of a button! I also love receiving the notifications of orders. It’s the sound of success! Love Wix and would highly recommend!

Over 30 hours of Not Working!. This app since January 2023 hasn’t been working properly. I have over 1000 members and cannot afford all the downtime and bugs. There is no one to contact in case something isn’t working. Fix this app! I am leaving them this week after 5 years I can no longer afford all of these technical problems (at least weekly)

No google indexing. Trying to get your page to index on Google on this train wreck of a website is like trying to figure out the secret to antigravity and interstellar space travel. It’s a nightmare. Any other site you use it automatically indexes after two weeks, dear Wix, try spending a little less money on those annoying commercials on TV and a little more on your coders.

The Other Reviews Sound Very Naive. I’ve been using Wix for years. As a Wix veteran the app does have some glitches which is why what I’m about to say shouldn’t surprise you. Only use the Wix app for basic tasks responding to messages, making small blog post adjustments, reviewing analytical data. The desktop version is far more expandable as you may have guessed. Be sure to use Wix-based applications as much as you can. Wix can give you feedback on 3rd party apps but ultimately they are not responsible for the issues 3rd party apps can cause and who can blame them. You can use a template but be prepared to work heavily on navigation to prevent confusion with customers. Our brand makes around $300,000+ a year in gross revenue and it’s all thanks to Wix. Thanks Wix for keeping up the good work with your features.

STAY AWAY!. I’ve been with Wix for a very long time. Over the last few years their service has become horrible. They’ve continued to increase the price of my plan while simultaneously removing services from the plan. The very services they promised in my plan have been removed and are now an additional free. Everything little thing is now an added fee or you have to pay a third party. I purchased my Premium Unlimited Business plan many years ago and it has a fraction of services originally promised. They care nothing for their customers. Their customer service is abysmal. I would not recommend WIX to anyone particularly small business owners.

Horrible app. Beware. If you need to use the app you will suffer. It is slow in crashes and freezers for no reason. While the website developer is great, their app is atrocious. It is embarrassing that a company of this size puts out such garbage. Because my company relies on the app I am now. Sorry I ever started working with them. DO NOT sign up with this company if you ever intend to use the app. You will regret it. My business manager doesn’t care, customer service doesn’t care, no one responds. Look on Google play under the Wix app. They have a four. This is a misdirection listing. The app is absolutely terrible. Shame on you wix

20/80 if the app will ever work. I’ve had Wix for years and operate my website as a blog. Neither of the apps they have for this consistently work. I am constantly having trouble getting it to upload photos to galleries, or if it does it then won’t let me update the published post with the new photos. It’ll just let me save as a draft but not publish so I then have to go back in and completely repost the blog post as new. Now that method isn’t even working and I have NO WAY to update my website via my phone which is where I do 99% of my updates. This is extremely inconvenient and it’s been years. Get it together Wix

Missing Money and No Response. We are so disappointed with our time with Wix. I usually never leave a review but the service Wix provides has been a horrific experience for our business. From having a $12k+ discrepancy with Wix payments to no response and continual issues with customers and Wix booking systems. It has cost us thousands of dollars to use Wix and no one ever answers. We have sent countless emails, phone calls, live chats and no one seems to know how to resolve the issue or respond for that matter. If I could give a 0 I would. For a publicly traded company you would hope for more. Step up your game Wix, so disappointed.

Stress reliever. Even though I have some trouble with some applications this application has proven to be nicely simple to navigate and extremely helpful. A lot of times for me technology can be stressful when it doesn't work properly or freezes up or has some weird corky issue. This application runs smoothly and instead of adding stress to my life it actually takes it away. Wonderful for every business owner out there and I would highly suggest it.

PLEASE ADD PRICE QUOTES TO THE MOBILE APP. I love using wix for my painting business but what would really make it fantastic if we are able to create price quotes. As a painting contractor, people want the work to be done yesterday and I don’t always have my laptop on hand so it’s be great to send out a quote as I am meeting the homeowner. Since I have the most premium package, I would love for this feature to be included as all over features are great! It would also be fantastic if we can track business expenses on here as well.

Suspicious use of “held funds”. They created a new policy to cover chargebacks and decided to hold 10% of total revenue to cover an action that RARELY happens. Thousands of dollars to cover $50-$100 in chargebacks seems a bit scammy. I would assume they’re doing something similar to banks when they hold your money, by putting it into stocks(which is why they wait 60-90 days to release the funds) then pay you your revenue but earn their cut from what they’ve invested. If they do this to their entire e-commerce customer base I don’t see how they wouldn’t make millions, so it pretty much adds up logically. Might move to another website since I don’t really approve of these types of systems put in place.

Needs same options in app as online. I spent countless hours trying to figure out how to invoice on my phone but with existing product in my store, the app kept asking me to add the product as though I had no items in the store, once I got a chance went in from my MacBook and magically there it was invoice and order for people on the go please provide the necessary features for business owners! Thanks in advance!

Easy to use. I’ve been using this App since it came out. For whatever reason, a few updates ago it started bugging me and still does. Whenever I use the app to upload an image, price and description it crashes. I have to keep going back into the upload and do ONE thing at a time, before it crashes and makes me do it again. This is from using my mobile device, very annoying. Otherwise it is a useful App.

More important things….. I like the app. Really helps with getting things done except the fact that you don’t have control over quotes , just invoices. Why? Looks like there’s a new update but it has to do with dark mode. Oh! Because that’s more important, right?. I just don’t get the thinking behind the creative process of the app. Hopefully someday we will have integration with quotes and invoicing on the app instead of going to the dusty PC.

Printing order ticket options are limited. I am currently running a restaurant and use wix website to receive online orders. My only wish is that wix to add print multiple order tickets options. It only print one order ticket and I manually print second or third copy of order ticket for take out orders and bagging. It would reduce my time significantly if I have option to set print 2 or 3 order tickets automatically Instead only one ticket on my printer. Could you please fix this?

Most of the time it’s great… 30% of the time, it’s not.. This app is great for scheduling my clients, modifying appointments, and looking at my schedule. The downside is that it doesn’t always show who’s on my website. Lately, I’ll get a notification that someone is on my page, and when I immediately click the box, it shows they’re no longer online. Like seconds after I get the notification. Too many to count… the last 3-4 days, those are the only notifications I’ve received. It’s a bummer because I like to see where my visitors are from and what pages they’re visiting.

Glitch of Note. I realised that I am not getting notifications on my phone anymore when people visit my sites. I opened the app, updated the app, and upon trying to “manage” the notifications on my various sites, the app just keeps on shutting down automatically. Time and time again. Needless to say that I am now stuck with an app (and a website platform) that really does not deliver on what they promise - and what you pay for at a premium. Wix - please look after your clientele because I am very close to deleting my account and redesiging my sites on another user-friendly platform. South African in need.

Images won’t upload without App freezing. I use wix for a blog page and am pretty frustrated with the new update. Anytime I try to upload an image, the screen does nothing. When it does, it asks me where I want to upload (media manager or choose from device) and then it freezes again. If I am able to upload an image, it will only let me do it in a gallery and only once in a page. I’ve been able to load a blog with photos and then go to load another on the same day and it glitches again. Not sure how to be helped with this one, but it’s been going on for over a week.

Website for our business. I was able to create the website just fine. I’ve been working of getting some pictures up. What I have an issues with is that when you go on the website on the top part in very big letters saids to join Wix. It doesn’t look professional for a website to have that. I wish they will just put it at the end of the website and much more smaller words. Is very easy to use, it tells you what to do step by step, but I don’t like that it shows that at the top pf the website. That’s the first thing our clients sees, it makes us look cheap.

No longer able to edit website from app.. I find that the removal of the edit and design feature on the app is an inconvenience because now I have to go email my photos that I’ve taken on my phone to my desktop in order to edit in Photos for my website. Before I could edit it, add them easily on the app and now I cannot, and it is rather annoying because if you cannot use the app for its original use, what the point of the app if we can’t use it to customize or build our websites? Not only that but I’m paying premium, if the things that were accessible to me aren’t anymore, why am I paying for something like this?

Stop changing things. I’ve had wix for years. For the past year I have been unable to reply to my customers. It tells me to download an app when I try to respond. Then in that app it wants me to creat a blog and nothing else. What hasn’t changed was being deducted money out of my business account. I’ve lost customers and already out time into setting up the website. I do not have time to keep up with all of these changes. This was supposed to be user friendly and now it isn’t. I never write poor reviews, but this is crazy how much of a headache this has become for me.

Love the App!. I have been using Wix to make websites for a long time. Last year I got a job at a company running their website. I chose to use Wix because of the affordability and the great Wix Stores system. This app also adds much need usability when on the go. One problem though is whenever I try to add a product I will enter anything into any of the text fields and when I click return the screen turns white. I have tried reinstalling the app and other troubleshooting things but nothing works.

Amazing!. Wix is a great app for small business owners, and they have amazing customer service. Once I was on their website I was connected with an employee within a minute, and they helped me solve my problem quickly and politely. I feel horrible though, because the end survey was not sent through for me to answer. If you are out there wix, please help me give them a good rating🤣🤣

Full of Bugs. This app works about 2/10 of the time. When I try to upload image files it goes blank then freezes making me close out the app. So I can’t create products with images. I can’t send invoices because it didn’t let me add products. You click add to invoice and it does nothing. On desktop you can choose invoice & order, but not on the app. So it doesn’t convert to a paid order. Limited on variant options, unable to integrate apps used on the desktop site. Just very limited. And more frustrating that I have to do everything on a desktop. There’s no convenience factor with Wix.

Someone is using this browser. They have stole my photos from my Instagram page and created a pornographic website I have not given any permission to anyone to use my photos I would never do anything pornographic I am very upset and troubled with this website and it’s hard to contact anyone so now I’m going to pursue a lawyer to sue the company unless they find who did this and take my photos downand it’s very hard to contact wax there’s no email addresses I am looking to sue this company for allowing someone to steal my photos and make fake profiles in pages of my what’s my photo the original price that was first contact list call fan house but the browser is under wax

Great app. I love using WIX. Most things are easy to figure out and if I can’t there is a video for it. The inky think I feel is lacking is the ability for my clients to book more than one appointment at once. Or me for that matter. As the owner of the business I can’t even book multiple appointments. It’s frustrating especially for time sensitive situations. Ive looked into other platforms for this reason alone. The entire purpose of online booking is convenience, but this is the opposite.

Great First Step...Much Improvements Needed.. This app is a great first step for business owners. I’m a restaurant owner and I use wix for delivery orders. I like wix but wix needs specific features just for restaurants. Each business is different and needs special attention but this app is a good first step for restaurants being that you can accept orders on this new dedicated app for business owners. Hopefully they implement new features and work on adapting features that most delivery services offer. Overall great first step and hopefully they continue to improve their apps.

Updates. Ok, y’all need to calm down with all these updates!! I’ve had wix for estimated 3-4 years now. Some things that were easily accessible I can’t find. Y’all are constantly changing, stuff it’s 2 wix a wix and a spaces. Why!? Unnecessary buttons I like to keep it simple. It’s changing in a way that is causing clients to be unable to book idk why. Traffic has slowed down bc my schedule says most slots are unavailable and im available. I change my schedule every summer im having to hunt down buttons and readjust so much now. 😩

Live Stream no longer works. For years I have been able to live stream to Wix Video on my website directly from this app with no problem. As of last week, it no longer connects to Wix Video. The app says its streaming and that all is well, but the stream never appears on the webpage. When looking through their Support pages, Wix claims it has never had the feature to stream from the app. Then why is there a “Live Stream” button at the top of the app? I pay over $1000 a year to have all Wix “plans” that enable me to run my business and this is literally the only reason I have stayed with Wix and not switched to another platform.

There is zero point for this app to manage your website. There is literally zero point for the application. You cannot do anything with your website, you cannot check your website messages. This is only for creating what.... a online business profile that other wix website owners can see? So that they can what? Oh yeah just spam you with messages about how they can build you a better website? Ever since I’ve created a website with wix , I get 20+ spam messages from their platform every single week. I already built my website I don’t need your help. And I don’t need the spam that comes along with this pointless service. 0/10 would not recommend.

Impressed. I find that the actual Wix platform is in general good sometimes wishing for more flexibility (I’d give it 3.5*), but this app is truly great. I love the many ways to personalize the dashboard having access to my most important stats, seeing live the number of visitors to my site and what they are looking at and being able to manage my site’s chat with ease. Well done Wix!

Nice user interface, but hard to delete account. The User interface is very simple, but they mad it overtly difficult to delete/close your account. I downloaded and played around for an hour, but decided it’s too simplistic of a model — also, the free domain name they give you is more unprofessional than other free domain web builders. The problem is that they made it very difficult to close your account as a means of discouraging you from doing so. There is no other logical reason to make the process so difficult. If you’re not sure that you will live wix, then don’t bother with it because a headache will ensue.

I love my website, hate the app!. It is CONSTANTLY glitchy. Won’t load my updates, has errors, etc. I have to upload things sometimes two to three times. The desktop version almost always works but I don’t have access to it all the time. So I have to rely on my ipad or iPhone and the app is honestly one of the worst I’ve used. I really hope it’s fixed soon because I love wix, I love the features, I love all the tools! I just can’t stand how long it takes me to update my website. (Which I am doing weekly!!)

No Badges showing up. This app is almost great. There seems to be an issue currently where app notification badges are not showing up when I get a new text or message (as it is meant to do and as it was previously doing ) so now I can't tell when I've received a new text, or website form submission. I love the level of integration their aiming for but I urge the team to make sure the basics work! Was on a support call today and there were no solutions identified. Now reluctantly researching other VOIP services as my trust has been shaken.

Wix Allowed Fraudster to Take Control of my Account and Won’t Respond to Proof of Ownership Beware. I have had a Wix account since 2019. I have had 2 published sites via Wix. My account does not have my email address listed and I cannot change it. I have spoken to Customer Service on the phone several times and submitted proof of ownership of the domains, which are in my name only, and it is my credit card only for billing. No help, no response, and I just paid for a premium subscription and feature upgrades. If you want someone to take over your work this is the place for you.

Helped with my business. I was trying to start a business for awhile. And I couldn’t build/create one because everything cost monthly or just you have to pay in general to use the software. But thanks to WIX I can build my business without having to pay to use the website creator. And I’m thinking about buying the premium thing that WIX has to have my website be better. You made it worse... This apps processing system was already bad to start. Glitches and freezes if you’re on it for too long, very slow at uploading. Though I’d update the app since it was being extra slow and the update that was installed it worse than the previous version. It now takes 10 TIMES longer to upload photos to a product and you cannot edit ANYTHING on the product while it is uploading the photos. This needs to be fixed ASAP! Would not recommend to anyone, your better off with Shopify, Squarespace, or frankly any other website builder.

Can’t edit site. I’ve been using Wix for years and love it. I could have sworn that there used to be a mobile app that was just like the desktop and you could make changes to your site and it worked great. Or maybe I’m just dreaming. This Owner app is almost useless to me. The analytics are great and all, but in order to actually edit my website, there is a message on the app that says to use desktop. My computer crapped out on me a couple weeks ago and I cannot replace it any time soon, so I am now unable to make any changes to the site at all. I’m now sorry I renewed my site for the year back in November.

Great app, but…. I really love using Wix and this app! I only have one criticism of the app, which is why I’m writing this (in hopes it’ll be fixed in future updates). When I’m creating a new product for a customer, my product descriptions tend to run a bit long and include a lot of detail. But when I get toward the end of writing on the app, I can longer see the text, so I have to go write the descriptions in a notepad and copy/paste

Pretty good app. Although I haven’t been using Wix for a while it seems like it’ll work out for me, and overall it doesn’t have a good rating form me quite yet because I find a few features missing that may improve the quality. Option: making it so you can hide your email. My email personally has my first and last name in it, and I’d prefer if it was able to be toggled ‘hidden’. Just a suggestion Option: help desk where you can type significant struggles. I tried to figure something out with the help desk, but with its limited options I found it a bit difficult to figure out what I was confused about. I understand you may not see this and it may seem opinionated but I mean no harm to the creator or crew that is working on Wix! I know it’s probably difficult keeping this app up, and I’m not pushing anyone — just recommending ^^

Updated!!! Please fix update bugs!!. Updated!!! Thank you for fixing!! I have loved the wix owner app up until this newest update. I wasn’t thrilled about the new slide feature for analytics, bur now that is the least of my worries. Inventory will claim to have changes saved, but soon viewing my site they aren’t saved. Product descriptions didn’t all save after the update but the text format was. All text squished together. Now it’s stuck saying it’s June 7th (it’s October 16th!) it will not let me see my views/traffic/sales/bookings for June 8th to now. Please please please fix this ASAP! Will update review once it’s fixed. I’ve always taken up for wix and recommend to my fellow business owners. This is the first time in 5 years I’m really unhappy with wix. I pay close to 500$ annually for this service. It should work properly.

I’m extremely frustrated. It was fine at first, this is the only free web designer that had everything I needed as a photographer. BUT I would finish editing and click publish and it wouldn’t actually publish it? If told me it did but it didn’t. Also every time I click preview, it doesn’t preview my updated website, it previews a very early version of my website that I had changed a lot- it like it doesn’t actually save changes. It extremely annoying to go and make the same tedious edits over and over again because your app doesn’t know how to save them. I just want to finish this!

Worked ok at first. The app was alright at best but the phone portion worked pretty good and I was able to call and text through the app but soon it would tell me I had incoming calls but never let me answer them. I reached out to support several times you can’t call them directly or course only request that they call you. The only time someone actually bothered to call me back they said they would get in touch with the tech team and they would email me. After two months I have gotten no response and now the app won’t even open for me at all any longer. Completely trash and absolutely no support. Very disappointing product from Microsoft.

Egregious app bugs. This should have 5 stars because the app has been great until a few days ago. It only shows the load screen. This app has been very integral to my ability to oversee appointments while on the go and now the app won’t load. I’ve updated it and restated my phone several times but it still won’t load. Trying to view the same info from the browser is not functional because it obviously wants me to go to the app that will no longer work. This needs to be fixed asap!

Wix rocks!. Me and my friend wanted to make a company. We thought, let’s find a few website maker websites. When we found wix, we didn’t know how it worked. But now we have over 40 views and they helped a lot. The free part works very well. Highly recommend Update: ok wix is better than I thought!!! Lots of people bought from us and they love the website! Without wix none of this would have happene! Tysm! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Stopped working. Newest update overnight crashed my app. Stopped working and losing business now!!! Please fix what you broke ASAP!!! The reply from developer states that the update that actually crashed my app fixed the issue. They should be aware that just the update by itself did not fix the issue. Only deletion and reinstallation of a new app fixed it. I wonder if this might also be an Apple platform problem? I wouldn’t be surprised since a lot have changed lately in the Apple products quality and customer service…

Fix the photo upload, please.. Photo upload from iOS devices is broken. At first it wouldn't see certain albums. Now it sees the albums but, when I click on an image to upload, it ignores the album I selected and proceeds to choose the latest photo in my phone. It makes no sense to be able to choose albums if you can't select the photos in those albums. The app is kinda useless if I can't make posts with photos. I still have to use a computer just to upload images that I already have on my phone.

Terrible customer service and program.. I have had WIX for 4 months now. Nothing works as should. As a small business on the move the functionality of the app is terrible. When contacted customer service for the 11th time they just keep spinning wheels and fixing nothing. Always told being sent to a different department and someone is working to repair and nothing happens. All the time spend to build the site and SEO will be lost if I switch providers so I feel it’s a total trap that they promote you can accomplish things when the app and program doesn’t function as promoted.

So easy to manage my store front. I run two businesses. One online and one in person. The Wix owner App makes it so much easier for me to manage my online store while on the go. I can add new products, Disperse invoices, as well as customize sells right from my phone. I used to spend hours trying to get everything uploaded and added. Now I can do it all from my phone.

App won’t let me upload pics or videos. When I first started using this app last year it worked perfectly fine now for some reason for months I haven’t even been able to post my blogs because when I try to upload photos or videos it does not work which is keeping me from putting content on my website which is very annoying if I’m paying a monthly subscription the app should work. I don’t like using the computer using my phone is way faster please fix this bug I can’t even remember the last time you guys had an update for the app smh

Several bugs. Unfortunately the text function doesn’t work very well when my clients send pics. The pictures won’t show or they won’t expand. When doing invoices from the phone there’s no option to add the description or title. It would also be a lot less confusing if text messages and emails had a separate page. In my opinion this is a horrible flaw in the design on the desktop and the app. I am strongly considering going back to google voice. I really want to like the idea of everything in one place, but I hate the way it’s formatted.

Great except for one thing. I love this app. I’d love to give it five stars, but I have had an issue with members spamming other members on my site. I have turned ON join approval several times, and it keeps turning itself off. I have also turned OFF members being able to see other members, and it keeps turning back on I don’t know if it’s a bug or what. Also, why is it that we can’t delete members, from the app? We can only block them. Then when I delete them from my computer, they stay in my contacts. There’s no way to delete them at all even though they will NEVER be a client of mine.
