nice app but.... I just downloaded the app, and it seems great. I feel like it would do well to keep me on task but everytime I just let my phone sit to do my work, it turns off by itself, and then I get a notification saying my cupcake is burning, even though I didn't do anything. It's pretty irritating and I can't even use the app at all because of this. I would love it if it can be fixed in an update!

Great, but a few things could make it better!. I seriously love this app. I never write reviews for apps but this one deserves one! This app really does help you stay on task. I really like that the burnt baked goods stay on your record, because it keeps me motivated. BUT I would LOVE if there was a five minute break option. Sometimes studying for over an hour can get pretty tiring, and even studies show that a five minute break in between helps get your brain back on track. I would love if I could add in a five minute break where I could go on other apps on my phone halfway through my timers.

Helps me get off my phone!!. This app helps me not be addicted to my phone!! I want to get a cinnamon bun next. 😋 It’s so cute and easy to use. Definitely recommend.

Loving it so far, just one thing.. I love this app. It’s perfect for if you have trouble focusing and doing homework because it motivates you to get work done so you can get more recipes. I’ve only had this for a day but it’s great. The only complaint I have is that you cannot pause the timer. I understand it’s so that you don’t get distracted but I mostly work at night and I like to eat with my family so I need to be able to pause and unpause the timer. Also, I usually listen to Lofi music while studying, but I noticed that if you listen to music while you have a timer set it burns your pastry. Again, I understand it’s so that you don’t get distracted, but maybe you could have the choice to be able to access the music app if you want to. I know a lot of other people listen to music too while studying. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this app for studying. So cute and aesthetic :)))

stops working after you get all of the stuff. i love the app so far - i’m able to stay off of my phone and i get a little reward for it! which is awesome!!! the minor issue i have with it is closing out the app. when i open it up, it says to “start my first bake” for five seconds - but i can’t choose what to bake, and all i end up with is a cupcake. the following issue that comes with that is i can’t choose what recipe i want when i start my “second” timer. it defaults to what i last use, and i can only change it to a brownie. (i don’t have an issue with brownies or cupcakes; i just like variety and being able to choose). also, when you get all of the recipes, you lose the ability to set a timer beyond the five-second one and the app becomes defunct. you may wanna fix that because it saddens me every time i have to delete it and lose my recipes. besides that and me having to constantly delete the app so i can continue using it, it’s amazing. i love how it keeps me off my device!!!

I love this app. I love this app this has helped me complete my homework everyday and it makes me very motivated. I like how this is free and doesn’t let me go into on other apps. I struggle doing homework but this help because when I get of the app it burn the food your baking!!

Cute. Would like more support.. Cute app, and does what it needs to do. It would be great if you could have a feedback button instead of having to go to the website manually. Also would wish there was a stopwatch option instead, would be easier for people who don’t have a set time while working.

Perfect for me!. I loveeeee this app! It helps so much with schoolwork and school. I use it to do homework or in classes when we are doing tests as a sort of alibi or even just to keep off my phone in class. It sometimes says it will start to burnif I shut off my phone, but it goes away after I open it back up and close my phone again (and if I don't, it doesn't burn it either way). One thing I would LOVE to see is being able to click on the dessert and see how long it was since a fully formed dessert could be an hour to almost two. This is way better than other apps like flora because you actually feel like you get more of a reward the longer you go. :-) Love it!

Great app! BUT ... :(. I wish the app tracked how long ive been focused... only thing that stopped me from keeping it. Love the idea.. but had to switch to an app that tracked how much i studied. Love the app tho.. hopefully they can fix it one day! If you’re not worried about tracking studying time.. then id recommend the app:)

Almost just right. I love this app so much! I wish more productivity apps were this cute! But I really dont like how everytime I open the app it starts a demo timer, like how it is when you first download it. Now I have 4 cupcakes in my display, when I didnt even use them to study. It irritates me. I wish my progress would just save and it didnt start the demo timer everytime I open it. Besides that adorable app! And i wish it had a pause feature.

A good app but it can be glitchy at times. The app is good but there are times when it glitches and your baked goods burn when your phone turns off.

AMAZING APP!!! PLEASE USE. This app has helped me focus on homework incredibly and it makes time go so much faster when your doing. I love how it’s free and fun to use because you get to bake different types of foods and you have to use the timer for a certain amount of time to get coins to get different foods. I use this timer to get homework done because if I get off the app the food I made burns and I failed and I hate when that happens. Really recommended if you have trouble focusing in online school or while do homework

Great for work/study focus. I have never written a review on any app before, but this deserves one. I wanted a simple app that would motivate me to put my phone down for certain amounts of time without any crazy frills. This app is perfect for that. You can set times for up to two hours. It will “burn” your bake if you aren’t successful, which is great for encouraging me to stay on track, but also not too devastating if I do need to hop on my phone in the middle of a session. Highly recommend!

Better than the rest. It may seem silly, but it actually helps me a lot. It’s easy to use and keeps me on track. Love this app!

Great App.. Except... I would give it a 5-Star review, it does its job perfectly. The thing that really chips off one little star is that I can't listen to music while studying when this app is on! I'd really like to listen to music while studying AND using this app at the same time! It would mean so much if you can push an update to let this app run with a music app. Also, it would be cool if you added more recipes and overall content on the app! Like maybe a mini-game available after 'baking' for extra coins? Or something else? It would be really fun using the app then! Get your bake on!!!!. Love the graphics and the interface of this app! I had so much fun exploring this app. Let’s just say staying focused on something besides my phone was hard my first go, but quickly caught on and enjoyed making my first cupcake ❤️ 🧁 I can’t wait to unlock more baked goods!!! 🎂👸🏻

Bug issue. Hi, I’m not sure if my issue is considered a ‘bug issue’ but every time I open the app it goes back to the introductory stage where they give a tutorial on how the timer works and it is frustrating. I hope you can look into it please? I really do love this app but recently it’s been giving me that issue. I have tried to delete and reinstall but still, same problem.

Love It!. I love this app so much! It’s great for keeping me focused on my schoolwork and daily tasks. The one issue I do have with it is that it doesn’t send any notifications or ring when the time is up. I prefer to keep my screen off when I’m working so that I don’t drain my battery but, without any indication that time is up, I tend to work for a bit longer than I intend to. Aside from that, I really like it. I find the baking theme to be a lot more fun than the symbolism of similar apps and websites.

Would be perfect if more features were added. I wish I could click on a baked good to see how much time I spent studying for that item. I also would like to have a total of study time on each day so I can know.

👍🏼. I think the app and it’s concept is great! When I was testing the burnt goods feature I actually deleted the app because I was so annoyed with it 😂. It’s definitely really motivated me to finish my timer. I deeply appreciate the lack of adds and it’s one of the reasons I love this app so much. Nearly Perfect. Let me start off by saying I do love this app!!! It is great at helping you focus and not diverge from tasks! It’s perfect for when I’m studying! The only two problems I have with it are; number one, I wish it offered longer than two hours of focusing time in one go. Number 2; I wish it had more desserts to choose from! I’ve unlocked all of them and I just wish there were more because then it would encourage me to use the app even more!!! I know the developers probably won’t see this but still, I felt like saying it.

Procrastination Killer. I downloaded the app this morning and I’m loving it! All the tasty looking treats and the handy timers, and the perfect artwork, it’s all so visually pleasing! The only thing that holds this back from 5 stars is burning goods. I went to go ask my friend for assistance on something, and I come back to find my goods are burnt 😭 I was a little sad about it, but I got over it Overall amazing app though

Just one thing I hate………. Ok this app is basically perfect imo it keeps me on task n I rlly like all the different desserts u can make it keeps it feeling new and fun!! 💕 ONE THING I’ve noticed however is that if I’m like off my phone w something baking yk, and I’m not paying attention to my phone at all (like ur suppose to) and I have it on silent, if somebody calls me even if I DON’T ANSWER IT it’ll burn whatever was baking 😭😭💀🤬 bc it thinks I’m on my phone?? Like idk just the screen coming on and phone ringing is enough for it to burn ? 😭 But like bc it’s on silent and I’m focusing on whatever I’m doing, I literally won’t notice until like an hour later 😞💔 just earlier I burnt my cake bc I got a SPAM CALL !!!!!!! Overall this app is vv sweet and easy to use and I feel like it improves my overall wellbeing most of the time EXCEPT WHEN IT DOES THAT bc that just ruins my mood So if the phone call thing could somehow be fixed that would be soooo appreciated pls! Great app! Just one little glitch.... I downloaded this app to curb my procrastination, and I’m loving it! Such cute graphics. The only thing is that whenever I leave the app and go back in, it gives me a gold ticket every time, making it much easier to obtain all the recipes. This is kind of contrary to the point of me working towards gaining recipes with the hours I’ve spent focusing. I really want to stay motivated and if all the recipes are unlocked quickly without effort it’ll be harder for me to do so. Thank you!!

GREAT. I usually take 2 hours for me to do my homework because of me getting unfocused but this app helped me the most out of all the apps I’ve tried. I love the concept of the cupcakes and the notification when you get out of the app. So awesome would recommend !

I love it!. I absolutely love this app! From choosing what pastery you want to pick, from the timer going up to TWO hours! I also love the details! For example, the longer you make the timer, the more detail you’ll get on the pastery tour baking.. chocolate chips, frosting, fruit, etc.. I would 100% definitely recommend downloading this app, especially for a person like me; who gets distracted easily.

hate it. ok i’ve tried to see if this all can help me get off my phone but all it does is helps u bake i mean it’s kinda cool but i don’t wanna leave this app open on my phone like srsly i hate it so much and i don’t recommend u getting this and also u have to pay if u wanna remove burnt cakes of ur shelf that’s just dumb dude anyway all i gotta say is DONT get this app it’s rlly dumb peace

Love it! One suggestion.... I really love this app! One suggestion I have is to include seasonal baked goods like a gingerbread house, ice cream, etc. I think this would be really fun, and an incentive to study if they were temporary as well! Love the app!

LOVE IT💖💖. This app is so easy to use and helps me stay on track and off my phone while studying. The only downside is deciding what recipe to get next. There are so many to chose from

Great but....(UPDATE!). I love this app I’ve seen others out there but none with baking I use it all the time it’s so cute i love it but if I get a message or any other notifications I can click on the Notification and it will take me right to that site and I can get out and go on any app I want without my baked item being affected or burned it is not penalize me for going on any apps unless I go onto the Bakery app then it will sort of I guess reset and it will start counting again if I get off the app but especially when I’m listening to music I hear the little I notifications it’s truly tempting to just go on there because I know I cannot be stopped and it will not burn my recipe also it would be nice if after you finish a recipe there is an option for a five minute timer or 10 for a break and during that time you can be on other apps and then you can get back baking so if you could fix that that be really nice and I’d be happy to give you a 5 star review :) pls get back to me :) UPDATE: They fixed the notification problem :) Also I just thought of this but it would be nice if we could customize the end tone to music or something :)

Adorable Life/Time Saver. This app is adorable and such a time saver! I didn’t even realize how much time I was wasting on my phone 😱 I’d definitely recommend this to my fellow phone addicts!

It’s okay. It’s a very good concept and when it works I really enjoy it. However the app appears to reset every day, and doesn’t remember that I’ve already been through the tutorial. Not a big deal, I get a free ticket every day and it does remember that I’ve used those tickets on previous items. However, if I ever decline a call that comes through my phone it burns whatever I’m currently cooking and that’s super annoying. I’m trying to remove the distraction, so not being able to accept or deny calls without it burning is a really bad feature.

Wish there was a whitelisting option. I understand that the point of the app is to stay off of addicting apps, but sometimes I would need to search something up and end up being away for too long and burning my food. It’s sad cause sometimes I study for 1 hour plus and the time is wasted.

Nice but.... I studied for 2 hours using this app. I got a golden bundt cake. I was really happy with it. The next time I wanted to use the app it deleted all of my bakes making me really frustrated and angry. Please fix this problem. I deleted the app because I was so angry. If you fix this problem and maybe just maybe give me back my bakes I’ll redownload it.

Great studying app. I have tried other apps but I just end up going on TikTok and this one is just great I never go on my phone

I literally love this app, It’s extremely helpful. First of all, this app is super helpful. I always use my phone a lot when I’m studying or writing in my case because I’m very easily distracted. At first, I didn’t like the app because of the notifications but soon realized that my work and study habits got even better the more I used the app. I started to try and challenge myself and put the timer to two hours to see if I really would use it and get distracted but surprisingly, I didn’t. I’ve mastered how to not get distracted and how to take small breaks with the timer. It’s a true glory to how I’ve gotten less lazier and tired of studying and really does improve your study habits. If you have problems with notifications pop up that it’ll make you get distracted, this app could be a bit irritating to you at first but as you use it more and more, you’ll get used to it and eventually use it in your everyday life. I guarantee you won’t regret using this app at all!

Motivating & Cute. This app is strangely motivating. I look forward to collecting new recipes and even started studying for two hour sessions to earn the golden pastries and coins. Thanks to this app, I’ve finally made a dent in my summer reading!

Sounds. The app works fine but there is no way to turn off the sound that plays after you finish baking something. This is very disturbing especially when I’m in a quiet space doing my work.

Really big bug!. Hello! My friend showed me this app, and I was immediately in love! But the reason I gave it three stars is because whenever I go back into the app, it shows me the bakery timer for 5 seconds I need to do the tutorial all over again. It’s pretty annoying! And whatever I choose for the golden ticket, it won’t let me have that. I’ll explain. Let’s say I just downloaded the app, and I chose a split. I do it for 20 minutes then leave the app. I come back tomorrow, and I need to re-do the tutorial. Now when I’m choosing a food with my golden ticket, it won’t let me have the split so I choose cake. Once I go to set the timer, the cake isn’t there! Just the split from yesterday! And even worse is that when I go to the shop, I can’t even get the cake and I’m stuck with the split now! It’s SO annoying and I’ve re-downloaded the app A BUNCH! PLEASE fix this glitch! Sincerely, Mia :D

Okay. I like the concept of this app a lot. It helps me stay off my phone but 600 coins to unlock a new recipe is SO MUCH. It takes an unbelievable amount of time to earn that many coins. This makes me want to use other apps instead.

Good but…. I downloaded this app when I started a new school. I wanted to get ahead with my work so I downloaded a study app. This one is cute with a nice concept however t there are a few things. Primarily i hate how if you burn a cupcake you have to start over. Love it but app keeps on burning my things when I turn off my phone and do nothing. I love how this is an alternative app for forest and it’s free and the amount of stuff you can bake and how it encourages you with coins but, I don’t understand how sometimes, I turn off my phone and doesn’t do anything on it and then it just burns the item I am baking. I didn’t go on any other apps but that and when I try to clean up my burnt goods for 99 coins, I touch yes but I cleans nothing. So if someone can resolve this for me that would be helpful. Thanks!

Very helpful. I have found this to be a very helpful app - using it both as a way to put down distractions and as a timer for other tasks. I do wish there was an option to allow calls without ruining the dessert. My phone is used for work and I have to take those calls.

The money. The recipes are cool too but they are really expensive for me because I don’t use this app all the time. I think you should lower the cost of the recipes because I love the ideas of that but I think it’s to much money you need to get with baking cupcakes but really love the app overall. 💗❤️💕🧁🧁

Helped me get my work done. I got my work done faster by this app giving me motivation to focus for a certain amount of time, The only thing that made me upset was when I was trying to print my work out with my phone it burnt my cupcake :( I mean the purpose of the app is to keep us off our phone but I’m just trying to print 😔😔✌️

I seem to be stuck in an endless loop. I love this app, I really do. But every time I open the app it gives me the tutorial, and during the tutorial, it gives you a golden ticket. Now that I have used them on every recipe I don't have anymore to unlock. You can't exit the tutorial or the shop so I'm kinda stuck forever unless I delete and redownload the app everyday.

Amazing. Helps me focus for school

It's good. The baking process is a really cute idea! I personally loved baking as a kid, and so it brought back memories just watching something bake in the oven while I'm working! I wish the developers would produce more goods though. It would be nice to see some seasonal and holiday specific cakes!

Amazing app! However…. The lack of features and new recipes really turns me off. This is the first study timer I have used, and I was attracted to the cute bakery theme of it all. With that said, I really cannot accurately compare this to the study timers on the market right now, but I do have a good idea of why some choose those over this one. I want to list a few problems I have ran into while using this app: problem 1 - When I study for too long, the burning of my pastry acts as a punishment, why is that? Shouldn’t the user be rewarded for going over the set limit? This is a nice feature for short time studies, but as someone trying not to touch their phone at all while in a hardcore studying session, this is VERY annoying. problem 2 - When I do bake my pastries to completion without burning them, they are not sorted by what they are. For example, donuts are by the parfaits and not on their own single row. I like to say organized and have a clean look to many things I do, this really bothers me. Adding the ability to sort by type would be amazing. problem 3 - I was surprised to see that the recipes were the only thing I could spend my coins on, I thought there would be more customizable pieces to the timer, such as how the display case looks. problem 4 - The max time is only 2 hours?? problem 5 - more of a personal issue…but whyyy are the maxed time goods golden??? It looks like an unhealthy fresh dog poop, especially with the parfait. Perhaps a new artwork is in order? problem 6 - a leaderboard and ability to invite friends!!! That is all I have. I don’t think i’ll use this timer for the long term, but I’ll try if this app still listens to feedback and gets updates. Don’t get me wrong, I love love LOVEEE this app, but I really want these problems I listed to either be considered, improved, or removed entirely.

Cute by worthless. Pro: Very cute design No ads Cons: No pause button (sometime you need to be able to pause) Very VERY easy to accidentally delete the baked goods you just made Does not track overall time. I need to study a minimum of three hours a day and would like to be able to see that charted. I used this for one day, and am ready to trash it after accidentally deleting the items I had already baked while searching in the app for more info.

Wow 🤍✨👍🏻. This app is Honestly great but at the same time it only works for certain people. I mean like I am a perfectionist I don’t choose to be and it don’t want to be but that’s who I am. Whenever I burn somthing I get mad at myself and want to delete the app get it again and start over. So it works quite well for me. Also if you want to send a message you should send it with Siri!! Also I think it should let you go on some apps of your choice but not all! Aside that I love the app and I use it during school.

More free goods to unlock please. Please come out with more goods to unlock for free!! Also, please extend the maximum time from 2 hrs to beyond that, like 3+ hours.

to-do list. ok first off this app is adorable!! and i love how if you study for longer you can bake something “cooler” it really is rewarding and encourages productivity. one thing i feel could take this app to the next level is a to-do list. with the aesthetic of the app it could fit in as a recipe for the day or week or whatever but if not that it’d still fit and be functional. but again, very cute!

Mmmmm, no.. Although it seems like a good idea, rest assured it’s not. I need to get to important things like a calculator or to send something or on google classroom, and I can’t do that or the stupid app starts spamming me and then burning things????? I mean what??????

Keeps restarting. Every time I open the app it forces me to to the 5 second timer and do the golden ticket thing all over again. I can't get it to stop. Other than that it's fun but please help

Great potential. Love the app so far, but want to report a bug! Every new day I open this, it treats me like I’ve just downloaded the app. For two days now I’ve gotten the “Ready for your first bake?” flow, including getting a golden ticket for a new baked good item. It does “remember” what baked goods I already have, because it doesn’t let me use the ticket on an item I already own. But it’s confusing because the “Second Bake, try turning off your phone” doesn’t let me pick any of the baked goods I own, everything looks greyed out and I had thought it forgot all my progress. But then after the second bake things seemed normal including my coins and previous bake history. Thought it was a weird one time thing, but then day 3 the same thing happened with the “Ready for your first bake?” Flow. All in all it’s livable, but it meant I have to redeem a new baked good every day (it forces you to use the ticket, so it essentially makes earning coins useless). And my actual first bake of the day is forced to be a certain type which is a little annoying (because it’s the “Second Bake” where I cannot pick it myself). Because I like the coin reward system and felt the two free items from the two golden tickets was cheating, I reinstalled the app. This seems to have cleared my progress completely, and “restore purchases” did not give me back the other items I spent gold tickets on. While this was perfect for me, I’m left wondering how to transfer progress to a new phone? Here is to hoping the reinstall means tomorrow is a normal day! I am on an iPhone 11 on version 14.2 EDIT: The reinstall did not work. Every time you close and reopen the app, it sends you to the tutorial, gives you a ticket, and then forces the bake with the ticketed item. Would love a fix to make coins and earning new bakes relevant, than you P.S.: I can already tell I would buy golden tickets for access to new cakes, but I’m currently getting tickets for free hahaha.... P.S.S: Extra happy because my work requires me to use my phone for 2 factor auth and I thought that would ruin this, but I can accept the auth from the notification on the Lock Screen with no issues!!
