Slimey App. Guess this game only works if you have the NEWEST iPhone. Was playing perfectly fine up until Water Level 7. I don’t know WHAT the deal is, what feature the new iPhone has that the other phones don’t, but I’ve found it impossible to play past this level with an older phone. No matter how gentle I am, how careful, I get hit and cut up by the saw on the left when you have to turn the lever to open the hatch. It’s just not possible on an older iPhone. Watched someone else play the level, be very gentle and slow, and they passed right by the saw. I’ve done the EXACT SAME maneuver multiple times and I HIT the saw EVERY SINGLE time. I’ve played this level over a hundred times, and believe me it gets old, especially with constant ads and starting over at the very beginning. If you’ve beat this level on anything below the newest iPhone model, great job!!! But I even tried adjusting my sensitivity and still NOTHING. Seriously, who makes a level that can’t be beat??? 🙄🙄🙄 I really don’t think it’s possible.

Endearing, Unique Game!. This game is a nice standout on the App Store. It is worth far more than the free price tag. It is charming, with cute graphics, a unique one touch control scheme, and interesting game mechanics. It has a sort of care-free innocence to it, reminding me of some NES games from my childhood. It is fun the whole way through. Do not pay attention to the reviews saying the controls are bad. The controls are 100% user-based. Once you know what the slime sticks to and how to control his trajectory, you find that virtually all deaths are the fault of the user - usually due to the player trying to rush to quickly. With precision handling and patience, you can have perfect control of the slime. My one complaint is that the game is too short. I have already played through it twice, and am wishing for more levels already. There are a lot of great mechanics that could be combined together for a bigger challenge. I wish the game was 2-3x longer than it is, just because of how much fun I was having with it. I hope Nitrome gives this game a good update or two.

NITROME IS THE BEST !. I have been a loyal patron of Nitrome for half a decade. I have downloaded all their apps. Each title is unique w a solid balance of graphics & playability which are both original and yet reminiscent of the classics I.e Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc. When I saw that “pizza slime” was “coming soon”, I was sure to pre-order it and got it the day it came out. So far it’s frikkin awesome... feels like gameboy on my phone .. new yet nostalgic. Bravo! Keep em coming !!! - J

Amazing game, but some pizzas can’t be gotten after you complete the room. More specifically, piranha tank 2. (That’s what it’s called) There is a secret room that holds 2 pizzas and for some reason, counts as checkpoint 7 pizza when in reality, it’s next to the 6th checkpoint. I beat that room and got the lever flipped which filled most of the room with water. The anchor also in the room does absolutely nothing with preventing you from floating to the top (when you go back after completing it). This makes the secret room impossible to get because you need the anchor to get down in the water in the secret room but if you get the anchor, it’s impossible to get to the secret room.

10/10. Best game EVER please update this game! Your very talented, I play this the minute I came out! Thank you so much for this game!

Unique Mechanics with some errors. As someone who has finished from start to finish on this game, this game is unique with the mechanic of traversing by slinging yourself on walls, and using powerups to switch up how you use that mechanic. The game is just the perfect length, but i’m sure many would appreciate if there were an expansion pack to this game with even more levels and powers. There are some exploits and bugs that I cant remember for the life of me, but other than that this is really good for a puzzle platformer. Nitrome strikes again!

Miss. Too much dialog and pointless storyline. Just make a game with a bunch of seamless puzzles! The gameplay was fun, but you don’t need to spend all your resources on a story about a freaking slime that delivers pizza.

Neat but too many ads. Nice game. Love the retro feel. God almighty the ads are impossible. It’s hard to really get sucked into the game when there’s so many ads. It’s a great example of how overuse of ads kills a games playability

Garbage. This game is total garbage! Play control is atrocious. The physics are absurd.

Adding a new island. So when you go to the rocket ship you can go to a different island with new stuff with a new tower don’t forget to add a boss to the island and don’t forget to add new enemies and other stuff that kills The slime

Great But One Glitch. I loved the game and it was amazing, but there was one glitch. At one checkpoint it made me spend double pizza to open the checkpoint when I only needed 7. Because of that, I could not beat the game. I was angry but the game was great anyway.

Not the best choice. The game is a good concept. It's fun at first but then it's repetition of the same types of rooms. You get stuck on a lot of the rooms. Makes you rage a lot when the same thing happens for 3 hours straight. The game is called slime pizza where a slime delivers pizza but there is no delivering pizza and you only collect pizza for 1 reason. Not recommended. I would probably like it if certain levels were a little easier to complete. Bye for now.

Unable to complete. I’ve collected every pizza slice but I am three shorty of unlocking the last checkpoint. I’m not sure why because i got the achievement for getting every slice

Good Game. Hard to Control.. It’s a fine game, but it is SO difficult to control the slime thing. I mean, it’s ridiculous. To the point that it isn’t fun or challenging anymore, it’s just frustrating.

Amazing Game.. This is such a fun and amazing game. It is challenging, but the golden ratio of challenging to where I don't quit. It reminds me so much of Wario land, and it brings me much nostalgia. I did find a glitch in pipe room 2, to where if I get to the end of the pipe, and go back in, the graphics of the slime glitch.

Just wondering. Is this a remake, copy, or inspiration of slime labs? some of the things looks like they are from super cat (made from same person who made slime labs) tales like the flamethrower

Fairly Good. I’m not one for long reviews, so I’ll say it quickly. The game is fun, but is very glitchy, and occasionally very much too difficult.

Waste of time. It's too hard to control the character, and sometimes it's just about luck and not skill. Very frustrating. The underwater room where you spin the bar but also have to avoid the spikes almost made me give up. I like the premise, art, sound, music—as the moves get complicated, there isn't any additional guidance on how to move, escape and defeat enemies. I'm now stuck in the fire lab tank with both a piranha and a moving spike wheel, and the piranha follows you faster than you can actually swim (yes, I had the anchor). I've been at this dumb level for 2 hours. The one time I happened to make it to the next room, I was killed instantly. If I can't move fast enough to escape an enemy or I die before I can figure out a strategy, what's it going to be like when it gets harder?? At least I didn't waste any money on it. Don't waste your time.

Devs please talk to me. Does this game end or is it endless

Bad. This game is sooo bad the controls are bad I keep getting sucked into doors restarting the level the when there is spike balls in the water and the fish the fish dosent even get phased when it hits the spikes and it’s too fast it’s too hard

Takes practice and patience.... ...but good game overall. The character can be frustrating to maneuver through certain areas, but that adds to the challenges of each stage. The character has a tendency to stick to surfaces that you don’t want him to. There are 25 stages with 24 save points. Many of the levels have hidden passages to rooms with pizza slices, which is needed for save points. The cost of save points starts low and increases every few levels. I had to go back to replay a few levels and find the hidden slices in order to buy a save point. The game does provide enough pizza to get to the end without having to pay $$ for them. The save points can be confusing in that when you view one and it shows that you did not get all the slices, you have to go back to the previous save point to play the correct level and find the remaining slice(s). There is an ad after each death, but they can be quickly dismissed so that you can resume playing. I only wish there were more levels. Maybe in a future update?

Meh and confusing. Gameplay mechanics frustrating to say the least. No proper instructions about what You need to do. Couldn't even get past level 2

Scammy. Way too many ads too enjoy, and after you pay for no ads, you still get ads.

Too hard. I am level 14 and I keep dieing one thing I burn the buels in one room and I went to another room and I went back and the buels reswaned please fix that it make no sense and put more pizza because it’s way to hard to find pizza

Sad :/. I got every single piece of pizza but it’s saying that I’m missing some still.. I can’t play it anymore so I guess I gotta delete it. It was actually a really good game too bad for the bug. 🤷🏽‍♂️

To many adds. I love this game but every time you die a add pops up and I die a lot because it’s hard to move slime where you want to go. But overall I think those are the two problems :)

Eh. Controls can be iffy. I don’t know if they’re just sensitive or if they’re just poor. Sometimes you stick to things, sometimes you don’t. I don’t mind ads, but one after every death has me unwilling to play OR pay. Sorry but if you can’t respect your free players enough to make ads bearable there’s no reason I’m giving you money— I really wish the ‘annoy them with ads so they pay up’ behavior would stop. It’s an okay game but nothing to really write home about.

Overall, A Must Have. For starters, this game is a lot of fun and the concept of the story makes your experience more enjoyable as well. The graphics are pure beautiful and the game in general is crazy good. It does get some getting used to for the controls but when you have that down, you’ll have a blast! I highly recommended this game if your a person that is ready for a challenge in a pixelated arcade game that is extremely addicting. Also, the only thing I would change is the amount of ads. Every 2 deaths, you get an ad, but I found this not be a problem since turning on Airplane Mode prevented ads from appearing. I also really enjoy the checkpoint system that the game has, making it more challenging for people that’s up for it. I also would like to see more cosmetics in a future update as well. This game is amazingly great; anybody who hasn’t downloaded it... WHAT ARE YOU DOING. No but actually get it, it’s shocking on how addicting it is.

Good game. I loved playing this game and it has a unique gameplay style, totally recommend and if you get the water level go back in the door where you came from to process what u saw and quickly get the lever

Addictive and fun. i only have a few games on my phone and in all honesty i’m glad i got this game it’s extremely addictive and great time killer.

Ads..... Every. Time. You. Die. There. Are. Ads... After playing a little while, It will get to the point where you don’t want to play. Don’t get me wrong, I understand ads are a must on a free game, but drown your players with them. Overwhelming players with them won’t get them to buy the no ads option. I like the game mechanics and it is a nice concept.

Could've been a great game. The character is way to slow for it to feel enjoyable at all, and his hitbox is huge. The amount of maneuverability you have is good, but it's all for naught since there's many times when you get hit by something you weren't even close to. Gave it a two star because a lot of effort was put into this game and it is moderately fun if you can get over how sloppy the mechanics feel

I love slime pizza as a game and have beat every checkpoint with every pizza and counted them to make sure but as a exit the lab it says it still need to unlock the last checkpoint it costs 12 pizzas but I only have seven and there are no pizzas left on past levels please help it the one star review stays

Great game. I love my lil slime buddy. Great aesthetic. Speaks to my soul. Pizza + space + perfect mix of random stuff. Only thing is there's a level in the middle that's stupid hard, kinda frustrating, but once you get past it it gets back to being a fun game. Overall, really appreciated that game designers weren't petty about making you constantly redo stuff you had already achieved. Love that bc it lets you focus more on the game. They also eased you into becoming fluent with the mechanics. Love the movie at the beginning and graphics and everything! Would have enjoyed more cutaway scenes. Make a Slime Pizza movie??? :D

Too hard. When I get to the part where I have a lot of enemies ahead I die from saws, lightning or the insane dragon worms. This is too hard please make the dragon worms easier and there de less saws in the part where you see the police dog the second time.

Very buggy. Going down the pipes just doesn’t work majority of the time. I’ve done the same level about ten times only to get killed by the dog because it won’t let me use the pipes. And another thing, when the dog comes out and I assume it’s safe to move but then he instantly charges back in isnt fun. It’s unfair.

Pretty... good?. Great concept, but the controls aren’t great, and it’s really slow paced. If the slime itself was smaller and easier to move, it would be more enjoyable.

fun, but flawed. i genuinely enjoyed the game, despite its faults. the game's core mechanic is fun, if a little unintuitive. the big hitbox, the sticking to walls and flinging yourself around are a delightful twist on the platforming genre. the mechanics introduced (guard dog, rotating platforms, yellow slime) are all fun and put a unique spin on the core gameplay. it's just that the game is pretty unforgiving, especially in the later levels. despite how fun the game is, i found myself playing the same level over and over, because i'd make one mistake due to the bulky hitbox or my slingshot missing, and i'd have to do it all over again. it felt like i was being punished for an action that was out of my control, and the unique controls became a source of frustration rather than fun as it had been for me earlier. eventually i quit after dying too many times. i feel like this could be mitigated by introducing a health system, or at the very least making all of the earlier part of the level faster to play (looking at you, flaming barrels section). it's frustrating seeing such a fun game be held back by a seemingly minor issue like this.

Just got the game, Already Triggered. I haven’t even made it past the first level..... how the HELL do you even move?!?! I find it extremely annoying that no instructions are given, considering the game mechanics are very different from every game, just seriously!!

Not what I expected for a game of the day. No tutorial, you had to find out by yourself how to control the slime, hard to understand the reaction of the slime, die over and over again at the first level because the slime never go where I wanted it to go, played 5 minutes then delete... long live to the game.. (not in my case)

Games fun. Would give it 5 stars if the controls were inverted or had the option. Great graphics/sfx as usual from Nitrome.

Fun... but not so much. Sure, it is kinda fun, but having to redo levels over and over I s not fun. Also, the game is acting weird and even though I am pretty sure I collected all the pizzas, the game still says I am missing some.

Finally, a Slime Laboratory game I beat.. Technically I would consider this a Slime Laboratory game, even though the mechanics are a bit different. They both star the same character. I enjoyed this one. It has a lot of various areas and many different elements to encounter. It’s a bit of a shame that there isn’t different music for each specific “area” like there was with Super Cat Tales, but the tracks that DreamsBell made were really good. I liked how the game felt big and explorative, despite your camera view being limited to just what you see on your device. A couple of times I got stuck on how to get the pizza slices, when it turns out there was actually a secret passage all along that you were supposed to go through! Haha. I also found the last puzzle area to be pretty frustrating, just because it’s pretty easy to accidentally hit the button next to you as you fling the slime upwards to hit the one. Also didn’t really like the sudden change of rules for how to open those grey doors that are normally activated by switches. But yeah, aside from these minor gripes, I totally enjoyed the game. I dare even say that this is my favourite of the published games to date. It feels very much like a Neutronized game, though the checkpoints did feel more like a Nitrome thing. I’d recommend it.

Okay. Fun game but the control mechanics work in the opposite direction of normal phone usage and it was becoming to frustrating to try and unlearn that.

This game doo doo. I was playing just fine up until I entered the end of the w-lab area where a got the exit that happens when you turn the switch then save, but then I decided to backtrack to the area I missed, bad idea because instead of backtracking I got softlocked.

Lags. Almost every time you die the game freezes.

Good game. This is a good game but it’s really annoying cause for one there isn’t barely any checkpoints two the dogs and piranhas are SUPER ANNOYING and three the ads show up WAY TO MUCH when you die

Good but there are bugs. I really like the game but there are some bugs. One of them is that the pizzas in the checkpoints aren’t all counted. An example is checkpoint 10. I got all the pizza slices but it said I only got 3 even though the pizzas I got were grayed out.
