Fun and not too complex. I loved this game because of its simple yet interesting platforming. I mess around on this game every once and a while when I need a fun game with some challenging and not too complex puzzles.

Great game. So... first of all, this game was amazing (as most of Nitrome’s games are). However, the game was a bit too short... I beat the game in one day, then ended up getting rid of it because there wasn’t really any more I could do with it... Other than that, the game was greatly made, and I don’t really see why there are negative reviews. But, yeah that’s pretty much all I needed to say.

Fun game! Played through it twice. This game is pretty fun and easy to learn with it’s simple controls. The ar mode is cool but I wish that their were just more levels as there game is fairly short and can be beaten in 1 sitting. But the game has a fun mechanic to each level and a simple to understand storyline. I recommend you play this if haven’t already

Nitrome has outdone themselves. I, admittedly, have not gotten too far into the game, but the gameplay and graphics out do anything nitrome has done so far! I am absolutely sold on this game and am heavily considering dumping the 4$ to remove ads, not because the ads are bothersome, but because i want Nitrome to have my money more than ever!

Great game, needs more levels. I thought the game was really fun. The graphics were great, the gameplay was impressive. The only thing was that it was too short. It took me 3 days to beat. There are also no collectibles that make it worth playing again. It could also us some more AR levels. Other than that, it is a good game

Another great game from nitrome.. If you like puzzle platforming with a twist of 3D then this is the game for you. It has the classic Nitrome animated sprites with the their charming music. You can’t go wrong with this title. I am sure enjoying myself at the airport right now.

This game alone gives me high hopes for AR. The AR levels on this game, although short (I beat all within a day) gives me high hopes for this new AR thing. The levels were very creative(especially the final one) I hope they update with more AR levels soon!

Game changer.. The magicians at Nitrome are at it again with another “Holy... how did they?..” type of game. Have not had a chance to check out the AR features, but the standard game itself is incredible. Even if platformers aren’t your thing, this is a must check out game for the technical showcase alone. It’s brilliant.

Pretty Darn Cool. This game is pretty cool. You move your little 2D character in a side scroller fashion with some really interesting 3D changes. The AR mode is pretty cool, too. Go into that mode to put the level on the table or floor in front of you and move around it to play the map. Very interesting use of AR!

Best AR experience I’ve had. The AR adds to the game so well, and there is a whole separate set of levels designed for it. After playing AR, I figured the standard levels would be disappointing, but they have they’re own flair and are also enjoyable. Easy download.

AMAZING!. This game just blows my mind, with gameplay especially. I really love puzzle games, but with the way you made this I love it even more! First off, the way you can change gravity blows my mind! It’s super fun to use that gravity to your advantage. Second, the way you can move from each side of the shape is an amazing way to lay out a puzzle, it’s really fun to navigate through the shapes and when that combined with gravity change it’s amazing. But it doesn’t stop there! Lastly, AR. Just the thought to add AR to all of this is such a good idea! And it work really well compared to other games. Now the cons- only 2 that I’ve encountered. 1 A very rare glitch that when transferring to a different box (like in first level) you get stuck on the corner. 2 add but that’s expected form any free game. Amazing app otherwise!

Great but.... Aright, I strait up love this game. I have beat every level except for the last one. I’ve even beat all of the AR levels. The problem is though, I absolutely can not figure out what to do on the last level for the life of me. I’ve been at it for about a half an hour trying different things to progress through the level, but I just simply can’t figure it out. I’ve tried stuff like getting the boss to shoot the random brown platform that has collisions but that didn’t do anything. I’m still giving the game a 5 stars because of how much fun I had with it. Thanks for reading this and I hope you respond to tell what you do In the level.

Surprisingly Good. I was fairly surprised by how good this game is. It’s a legit fun puzzle platformer. Pros: The game looks good, has an appealing art style, the music and sound effects are nice and the gameplay is both fun and unique. Cons: This would be more fun with a controller, the touch screen controls work but are somewhat of a hindrance. Also the ads are a bit annoying but ultimately not super intrusive especially for a free game of this quality. You can pay to turn them off if they bother you to much but still worth mentioning. Overall definitely worth downloading if you are looking for a fun and unique puzzle platformer to play on your phone.

NEED MORE AR and other fixes. I like the creativity of Flat Pack and think there should be more augmented reality, because I think it’s pretty cool. Though I wish it didn’t eat so much battery life.

Unique Game 👍. This game is unique. Jumping and flying in the walls of a 3D object is different and creates a new way to solve puzzles with level orientation. The game asked me to review it after the second stage so that's all I know so far.

Wow.. Amazing graphics by shifting the 2-Dimensional level to a 3-Dimensional level while it still remains at a 2D like character art style. Great work, looking forward to more games similar to this.

Great, but.... This game is amazing But it’s made incredibly hard by how moving and jumping are both meant to be done with one finger, especially during a section with moving obstacles please just add a way to move and jump at the same time, it’s not fun having 2 different separate actions for 1 button

Unplayable. This is a good game but it's completely unplayable as the ads that pop up between deaths can't be closed. Maybe it's my iOS, but I try to get through one level, I die, and an ad pops up with the 5 second countdown ... but I can't close it. I have to close and restart the game only to encounter the same problem again and again. Endless frustration. Additionally, controls are clunky sometimes, where I'm trying to walk one way or another and I end up jumping, leading to deaths, and yet again, unclosable ads.

Every level is unique. This game is great! Each level is a unique challenge. There’s no filler, and there’s an appropriate amount of hidden stuff to find. Highly recommended.

Fun and Original!. Nitrome did it again, they made another great game. I was really into this game because of the AR features. Really cool! The concept is executed well and it’s really fun. I would recommend this to everyone!

Nitrome Odessey. You know those 2D segments in Mario Odyssey when you turned into the classic Mario sprite? This game takes this concept to another level. The controls and goal are simple: retrieve all the gold squares to make a cube while running and hovering your way through the level. The challenge, however, comes with the 3D perspective. This hides portions of the level that you can only find by moving around the puzzling environment. The AR levels lend yet another level of depth to the game. It was such a unique experience to literally walk around a cubic level in my room to see where to go next. I love a good gimmick and I was smiling the entire time playing :)

Nitrome, you did it again!. Alright, this game will blow your mind for how flat physics are applied to a 3-dimensional shape. That’s the whole premise, apart from collecting portal shards that take you to the next level. The first levels are a good way to let the player adapt to the controls. Afterwards, the levels will introduce new gimmicks, like gravity, switches, arrows, cannons and a freaking alien! As always, Nitrome never fails to deliver such a good game, and this is their first 3D game, so the concept is understandably awesome. 6/5 stars! Keep up the good work!

Could be better.... A precise platforming with imprecise controls. Tap + swipe, and too easy to do one or the other when trying to move quickly. A different control scheme would work much better. Frustrating because of controls, not so much because of difficulty. The difficulty itself is fine, challenging enough to keep one satisfied.

Incredible. This app is so cool. There are so many levels and it’s so fun. The graphics are interesting, in a good way. The AR is a little hard indoors because of furniture and walls, but idc. I also really like how there are separate levels for the AR. 👍👍👍

Pretty fun game!. I really liked the AR mode in the game because you were able to move around the map as you control your character. About the controls though, at first I thought they were, well, okay controls but after doing some harder levels, they became somewhat annoying. Because I can eventually get used to them, I will still rate this a 5 but a different way to control your character would be nice.

A little problem. I like the game, matter of fact, I love it, but the AR doesn’t work, the map loads in, but then it starts glitching out and then it disappears, then when you want to start it its still not there, you can control the character but you cant see him. I love the game and I thing its amazing how you combined a 2D pixelated character with a 3D environment, but just please come out with an update soon so the AR works properly.

Great Game, but too short. Love this game, but it’s too short. I beat it in one day and was hoping to find something more, like multiple worlds and different characters and a different boss each world, but there was only the one boss that was pretty simple and easy to beat. Game Idea. I love this game, Nitrome is by far my favorite developer, but a cool idea for Flat Pack is an infinite mode, where it starts as a single cube, but then more and more stack on for every few shard things you collect, and then each cube added on is one point.

Clever.. This game has one of the most clever gimmicks Nitrome has offered. The gameplay is in-depth and entertaining for a mobile game. Five outta five.

You have ruined a great game. was it that difficult, to make an option to use two separate buttons? controls are insanely unpredictable, you always die because of that and THAT pisses me off!

Four stars. I would rate this game five but there are some issues: 1. The hit box for the player is too massive since even the slightest pixel touching any hazard kills you. 2. Death Pyramid is annoying and makes you want to throw your phone at the wall in anger. 3. The boss has a glitchy hit box that is more hit or miss when attacking the way you’re supposed to, to make more clear, either you hit him or die for no reason. 4. AR is a bit glitchy when in a bright room, to explain in further detail, the whole stage moving to the brightest light in the room. Other than that I rate 4/5. It’s a fun game.

Runs terribly. Gameplay is not compelling and doesn’t feel fluid. Runs so poorly lag makes it often unplayable. Uses battery extremely fast. Disappointing that Nitrome would make this game when their games are usually high quality.

So fun. Oh oh this is so fun. That you actually have to interact with it and move around. Best game. It would be better if it there were no in game purchases to get other levels

Super cute!. The art style is really charming and the gameplay is pretty fun too. The only real complaint I have is the swipe to move controls don’t feel great, but it works. I would have preferred a more traditional movement scheme, such as having the movement buttons on the left and jump on the right, but oh well. Still a great game that is totally worth your time!

Very neat!!. I can’t believe it took this long for a game like this to exist.

It's cube-tastic. I like how the 3D perspective is really played with around here. This is more than just a 2D platform we that happens to be in 3D; this game wouldn't really work if it was 2D. The music is super chill; Dave Cowen does a great job. There's a minor sfx bug on the level select screen, but it's not too annoying so long as you don't linger on it. The game is pretty reminiscent of older Nitrome browser games, I would say. The clever use of the mechanic is up there with changeType() and Fault Line. I'm only a little over halfway in the game, but I have had a pretty good experience with it so far. Even though it gets pretty difficult, it's not completely unforgiving. I've yet to download iOS 11, but once I unlock the available levels, I'm interested in trying out the AR mode.

AMAZING GAME NITROME. This game is so Awesome! It balances the effect of 3D and 2D together sooo well and this controls safe so easy to learn! I just wish that there will be more added to the game like... 1: A create mode where you can make your own custom stages and post in the “Flat Chat” ( A place where you can talk) And other people can come, play and rate your stage! 2: Maybe a cool online race mode where you try to finish a level as fast as you can before the other person to win 3: A system where you can choose different costumes and colors for your characters to o where in the online races! Please reply as soon as possible if you would consider adding all these ideas -Flat Pack Fan

Title. I Like How The Squish Is Good And So Is The Art

Cool Concept, though not perfect. I’m an avid fan of Nitrome, and I’ve eagerly followed this game throughout development through their twitter profile. This is their first 3D game (for mobile at least) and its a pretty significant step for a 2D developer to pioneer into the third dimension. So, as their first attempt, this game is very unique and well built, with a gleaming myriad of unique ideas. However, as a game in and of itself, there are a few flaws. 1. Controls are clunky. Certain levels of this game require accurate precision, and the “swipe to walk” controls fail to deliver. Additionally, there’s also no multi-touch support. This means it is impossible to move and jump at the same time, which is a MUST for platformers like this one. Multi touch support and an option for buttons instead would be very nice. 2. You can’t rotate the world to see the full level unless you’re in AR mode. Keep in mind AR is only supported by iPhones 6s and up. In order to see a new facet/part of a level in standard mode, you’ll have to go to the edge of a block. The way the camera moves, you won’t know what’s on the other side. An arrow shooter? A spike block? A shrunken? It’s basically impossible to know without flat-out(heh) memorizing the level layout. And even so, moving parts will always be a surprise. A solution could be to add a joystick to the pause menu, allowing you to safely rotate and view the world. 3. Your character falls too slowly. Not sure if this was intentional, but I don’t see the point of it. This ties in with point number 1, where many levels need precision to complete. There’s no way to move your character out of harms way when a spike block comes rushing in at your level. Having a way to make your character fall faster would really help. Overall this is a good game, something very reminiscent of Fez, Monument Valley, and the like. But when it comes down to it, it plays out more like an experiment than a fully polished game. Though it has a few flaws, I hope this paves the way for more 3D-related Nitrome games.

decent concept, poor execution. bad as a mobile app as it has poor optimization, frames dropping heavily, in addition to graphical errors or enemies spawning improperly. the controls leave something to be desired, impossible to move diagonally.

Meh.... Well, I guess it’s okay for some people, but me? Not a fan. First of all, I actually like the idea of it but the controls are the WORST. When I want to do some platforming, I can’t because I can’t move while I’m flying. And second of all, the character jumps to high and I often find myself being impaled on spikes while the enemy’s block me from moving on the ground. And third of all, I wish that there was a level creator in this game, but that’s just something that I really want to see in this game. And also you can just fix all of this. Just look at my suggestions, please. 1. The controls. Simple. Just add the option to have arrows on the screen to move left and right and add a jump arrow on the right. 2. The jump power. Just fix the jump power. That’s all. 3. The level editor. Just make a level maker mode to the game, and boom you have a game that can be played over and over and over again. And better yet, you can have it so that you can upload your creation to the world. And you can make the level creator start with you placing the blocks and making it lift and descend or make it randomly roll around the map or make it target the player. Second, you place the environment, enemy’s, ( with the option to make them fly or walk) special stuff, and the decorations all in a hot bar at the bottom. And then you can give them the option to save and play it in a section called, “Saved Levels” an you can also have them test it to see if it’s beatable and then they can upload it. Overall, I give it the rating 3 out of 5 stars because the controls are not exactly good and the fact that there’s no level creator.
