Great Concept, Great Game, but they ruined it. I love the game. Addictive and fun. Challenge mode is fun as well. But think worse thing about this game is the ads. There is an ad after every round you play. It is the most annoying app to play, and I avoid playing it because of all of its ads. The best way around it is to pay the $2.00 fee for no ads (which sounds like a good investment and koudos to those who have 3 dollars to spend on an app), or I found a trick around ads, and this applies to any game that doesn’t require wireless connection. If you go to your cellular data settings, you can manage what apps use cellular data. Scroll to the name of the game you want to play (i.e. “Dunk Hit”) and turn the switch off. So whenever you’re in the car, or just at home and you turn off your wifi. connectivity on your phone, you can play, free of ads. If you have an iPod or iPad, it’s even simpler, just turn off your wifi. That does mean you can’t use it for notifications from other apps. So overall the game is great, fun, and addictive, but the ads ruin it.

Addicting. This game is awesome to pass some time! I love the new update with all the new skins. I'm addicted with trying to unlock them all. Only issue I see is the ball definitely bounces a lot slower than before. I feel like it's nearly impossible to unlock the flash skin. I have nearly every skin unlocked except the few that require about 150 more games to unlock! Racing against the timer once I'm at 600 is awesome. I have to time my taps perfectly. Overall great game! Definitely recommend to friends and family. Only concern is the slow bounce between taps from hoop to hoop. I would like to see it go back to the old speed.

It’s a great game but it could use a few changes. First of all I love this game it is amazing and fun but it nears a few changes. I think that it might be a little to hard to get the radioactive ball where he or she has to get one thousand points in one round but some of them are to easy or to hard but it’s a good balance. Well I love this game but some more balls to collect and less hard levels so it can be easier to complete them. But other than that this game is great thanks Voodoo you make awesome games thank you again.

Glitchy but Fun. This game is fun. It’s simple and very addicting and it’s pretty easy to win all of the skins without having to pay money. However, there have been some bugginess about the app. It could be that I am using a 5s still, but all of my other apps work fine. It’s slow and the frame rate becomes chunky. It tends to mess up the ball while I’m playing. Also, the App Store opens up to this app’s page for whatever reason. I close the App Store and go back into my game, but the store opens right back up. If these minor bugs could be addressed and fixed that would be great.

Pass time and addicting. The game is perfect every time I play I am feening to get all the skins and I love the challenges, but the only problem is that when I do the smash challenges sometimes when I make it it doesn’t count the shot and then it says fail I you fix that then it will be 5 stars for me but for right now it’s only a 4. But the game is still really good and I play it every I love but ya just have to fix it when I’m playing the smash challenges and it doesn’t count.

Fun game. This game is so much fun it challenges you to get better and improves,for example they have you face challenges to get new skins and they also have 24 challenges just to challenge yourself. I’m not sporty but I’m obsessed with this game. I would highly recommend getting this game. Me and my family have so much fun doing competitions to see who gets the highest score. So overall this game is fantastic and I would check it if I was you❤️💜

To much adds~. When ever i fail to dunk a shot it saids Watch a add for a another try? and then i hitted the button watch add and so it worked but in a little bit i failed to make a shot and then it asked me the same Qwestion again. Do you want to watch a add for a other try? i waited for the time to run out and then a add popped up any way.

This Game would be better with sound!. Honestly, this game is great I din’t really have any cons about this game. But this game would be much better with sound. I think that it would get such higher ratings and would makr the game more interesting too. For example: The flash ball would have lightning sounds or whatever flash sounds like. Again, if this game had sound ut would definitely get a 5 star rating from me!

Super Fun Game but wayyyy too many ads. So basically I love this game but you guys really need to chill with the ads. You can’t even play this game for 1 minute without having 80 seconds of ads. Like calm down. I understand you can remove the ads for like 3 dollars but seriously, wasting money on games is pointless. So yeah too many ads but overall very fun!

Fun game but.... 5 star game with less adds. Ok I get it you have to put adds to make money but if I’m going to watch a add to save a run like you should not force me to watch another one like I get it you got to make money but a add after every game is just to much for one person to keep playing

LOL read this to save your time. This is a little tap game. So timing your taps is the whole point in scoring points. I actually laughed when ADS continued to bombard me in the middle of each tap; not after you lose, but in the MIDDLE of game play, while your time is running out (when it displays ADS). When I say it’s unplayable, I mean it’s actually unplayable. The ads will not stop popping up. Deleted this garbage forever. 😂 A well deserved 1 star. I only wish I could affect the overall rating in hopes of saving someone the time of downloading this trash.

Read!. I honestly never give game reviews but this was the best game I have ever played. It makes you want to get new balls so you can see what the animation is like when you’re on fire. I’ve only had it downloaded for a couple minutes but I already see how great the game is

PLEASE READ!. So much fun also here’s a tip there is three secrete skins for the first one don’t move just let you ball lay on the Grundy for 20 sec for the second don’t go through the hoop just go up up and the last secrete skin is play with EVERY ball thanks for reading to the end if you do

Extremely fun game. This game is great and I love it. The ads honestly aren’t a problem despite what some people are saying. My only problem is lack of content. I unlocked all the balls within 2 weeks and it was really fun doing that but once I got them all I lost my motivation to play. So maybe add rewards for completing the challenges and add different types of hoops. Basically more content would be good. Other than that it’s a perfect way to pass time.

Warning. I rated this five stars so people can see this first of all the game is fun for the first few minutes the ads don’t bother me too much but the worst thing about this game is that sometimes if you don’t play for a long amount of time when you try to start the game it just shows black and sometimes it shows the logo and then you just see black the game has basically crashed and the only way to fix it is to delete it and re-download it and lose all of your progress

Boring and quick. The concept about the game is good but my problem is that after you get all the balls and do all of the challenges there is nothing else to do. Add a boss or something, or like a currency and make challenges do something besides fill up the trophy. The different kinds of balls are grindy you can take all day to get a normal colored ball while it takes one minute to get the exiting asteroid ball.

Challenges. On the smash the ball through the moving hoop challenge the ball goes through the hoop and doesn’t count sometimes and its really annyoing because I’ve almost beat it a lot but it just goes through the hoop and doesn’t count too much please fix it. I would give the game a 5 star but I’m giving it a 4 star because this glitch again please fix it!

This game is good but the ads I have to question Ahhh. This game is ok for the quality especially when you can change your basketball or your ball. Something that gets on my nerves more than anything is the amount of ads that pop up like every time you lose you have to watch an ad. But other than that this is a fun game especially if you play basketball and it’s just all in all a really good game. So basically what I’m trying to say is if you don’t like ads this game isn’t for you unless you want to pay them for no ads. Other than that I’m going to come to my conclusion download this game but be aware of the amount of ads for the VooDoo company and others as well. Best game ever. Sometimes when I play this game I get mad because I don’t make the shot but sometimes I just don’t want to play anymore😂😂This game makes me feel like playing outside and playing basketball it helps me practice where i am messing up so I can see how I am shooting so I love this game this is my #1 game 😁

Unplayable. I PAID for the add free version and I am still getting unskippable constant ads that take up the full screen and most of the time I need to close the app and reopen it because even after the ad there is no way to exit. No matter where you click it brings you to the App Store. Will be asking apple for a refund. Very disappointed even after advertising an in-app purchase to remove ads they still screw you over.

Best time killer. I’ve had this app for over a year, and have downloaded many games in that time but for some reason I always find myself coming back to this one. The simplicity, eloquence, and ease of use is what makes this game so addictive. Will continue to play this game when I need to kill a minute for many years to come.

Too many ads. I LOVE this game and it is awesome to play when your bored, however there are way too many ads. After every round that I play there is an ad. I’ve already deleted it and downloaded it back twice hoping that there wouldn’t be as many ads when I download it again. So this is my third time having the app now and there are still WAY too many ads

Basketball star. It was so fun and joyful and it was so great even though I don’t believe right basketball that much in real life it was so fun and fun to play it and it was just great can you and I hope he will play that like it the way you want to do it as a sport that good of a basketball. But you can play game that you really get it and it is so fun to play if you did a baggie if you had a bad game and you didn’t win and some and some other games that are pretty fun that involves seeing as my name Jason

What happened. I love the game, so much that I bought no ads and other than the bottom right ad before you start, (which doesn’t bother as much as one popping up, but it’s still an advertisement) it’s good. But one day I go in, and my game starts to lag because it’s searching for an ad to throw on the bottom in game (which is removed with purchase) and I thought that shouldn’t be there. Then when I run out of time an advertisement pops up!!! I don’t know if this is happening to others but it is happening to me. Would rate 5 stars if this wasn’t happening. In fact for this current review I would of thrown 2.5 stars if possible but I stood positive. It says under the app of the purchase made as well.

ADS???. The game itself is good, I would give the game 4/5 cause it's simple, elegant, and I like wasting my time on it. But seriously... I get an ad after every single restart. Every time I want to start over, whether it's a 10 streak or 100+ streak, I have to watch an ad. Cmon now there has to be another way devs can implement ads without scmazzing me. Probably uninstalling purely because of them. Also this is my first review on anything ever, just so you can understand the level of frustration I'm at right now.

Really enjoyable game but.... Ok, so this game is really fun and addictive. This is because of the many basketballs you can unlock. This is probably one of VooDoos best games yet, it is very well designed!😁 Now, when you buy the Add on (for no adds), it doesn’t get rid of what the Add on says. The Add on does get rid of the adds, but it doesn’t get rid of the banner add for VooDoos games. If you are addicted to this game like I am, get the Add on. I got this game only 1 day ago, and I already have half the balls (including 2 of the mystery balls, in which the hints are very good in order to get them!) Random: the flash ball is very good, because it jumps a little higher (like the soccer ball), but it’s faster! Really fun game, but.... It has a small lag issue. I like the game overall, very addictive and the gameplay is nice. But it seems to stutter and lag from time to time. I’m sure the app works better on iPhone 8 and up, but on my 7 it has some stutter issues. Considering how simplistic the game is, I do not feel as though this should be a thing. In addition, this is just an annoying gripe for me, but I really dislike it when the ball struggles to go in. Time and time again, it’s going in a chain and perfects are lining up, but then, without reason, the ball bounces around the rim. Sure, this is realism and all, but it messes with the flow too often. While tapping to bring it back up jus as it goes in, I end up sending it back out before it can go in. This causes a struggle with the ball and getting it to go back in as it rams against the rim does not help. This is an easy thing to get around in the early section below 200, because the timer goes slow enough to fix the mistake. On the other hand, once it is sped up, fixing it is impossible. I wish there was some fix to this because it has messed with high scores of mine time and time again. Overall, the game has a good difficulty, solid controls, nice visuals, and a simple premise. This creates a fun, addictive game that I simply cannot put down for more than a day.

Glitchy. I bought the game. It is fun to play. But it seems to lag behind a bit. I’ve played this game for a while, but I will delete it and restart for fun. I hadn’t downloaded it back for a bit and now this game seems slow. It’s not a very smooth game play. Didn’t know if this was because of my new phone or what. Says it hasn’t had an update in a while. Maybe that is why? But if it could be updated for a smooth game play that would be worth the $3 spent for no adds. Also, for others, when I had purchased the game I received an add. I closed down the app all the way and reopened it. No adds. Hope that helps.

Too many ads. It’s addictive yes, but there is just way too many ads. When you finish one level with around 30+ u get an add I get you want money to support your company but it gets really annoying. Also, when you do the challenges at least for me it sometimes doesn’t work. I had over 5 scores when the timer hit 0 but it doesn’t let me have the skin.

Too many ads. This game is great, good balance between skill and tad bit of luck and timing. What seriously kills me from not playing this game hours on end are the ads. Sure ads every 3-5 run throughs I can understand. Being an app developer is a hard job and it provides revenue. But having ads after EVER game, and ones that take “five seconds to close so you can trial it”, just for it not to close because the X icon does not execute its function is just plain upsetting. Players shouldn’t have to be strong armed to pay money to end the aberration of ads.

Great game, too many ads.. Really fun but level 23 😬. Everything about this game is really fun and addicting so I really recommend it. There is some ads but that can be fixed with airplane mode. One thing that made me mad is level 23 in the challenge mode. In this level you have to score 50 points with crazy hoop and while I was doing it a hoop that was impossible to score on popped up. What I mean is you can get it in the rim but it doesn’t go through and just gets stuck. Other than this it is really fun and really recommend it. 👍🏽

Love the Game but the Ads. This game is overall like a 10/10 but with all Voodoo games it will get boring with ads. Voodoo has an addiction to past an ad after every single round or mission in their games which make almost all games not fun or forces people to buy no ads which people also don’t wanna do. Honestly this is just Voodoo’s problem in general.

Ads are overly intrusive. Fun game, but not worth the trouble of the ads. I kept having to force quit whenever one pops up. The ads are full screen and hijack the usability. Seems like the developer spent more time figuring out how to cram ads in the game rather than the actual gameplay itself. Apps like these are really diminishing the quality of the App Store ecosystem and I hope Apple finds a way to push them to the bottom of the recommended list.

5 for gameplay 3 for adds. This game is honestly one of my favorite pick up and try to beat your high score real quick games since flappy bird. It's simple but very addicting. Like the title of the review says, I'm giving the actual game its self 5 stars. The only issue is the adds. Even after buying the 2.99 no more adds purchase, there are still adds for anything but just playing the base game. I would recommend making the second chance a little free throw mini game where if you hit 2 in a row you can continue for those of us that spent 3 dollars on this game.

The good game. I really like the game but one thing is that when ever you loose you have a second try and when you use and you want to beat your high score but you didn’t make your high score you and you were so close but then your like I wish they had another try.

Smh. I played this game on my pc and I found the Game on the App Store so then I wanted to download it on my phone so then whenever I lose the game it keeps on giving me ads like fix this bro it’s starting to get a annoying cmon this is why games get bad reviews and gotta have fake reviews like cmon man let us play the game ad free some popular games don’t even have ads they tell you watch this ad for good deals spamming ads isn’t good for a nice model game but spamming ads makes it 100x worst.

Big bug please fix. So I redownloaded this game again after not playing it for a year literally and the first day it was going great but the second day today after I stopped playing it to go to the restroom and came back the game won’t even open it won’t crash but the screen is just black idk if this is because it hasn’t been updated in months but please fix this I bought the no ads bundle sinse I really like this game so please fix this issue vodoo

Lag. I’ve always loved dunk hit and it has been my all time favorite game. But the reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is because whenever I turn off wifi and turn on airplane mode, I open the game and it keeps on getting me back to the iPhone’s home screen. If that lag gets fixed, the I’ll rate it 5 stars.

Addicting game but is very glitchy. I am addicted to this game and have unlocked all of the skins. Moving on to the challenges I noticed two very annoying glitches. 1) The continue option, which allows you to keep playing after watching a 30-second ad, does not let you keep playing in the challenges but instead kicks you out to the challenge home screen. 2) in the smash baskets challenge every few baskets are not registered as going in. This is especially annoying since you lose ends and you have to watch an ad if you miss. This challenge is also really dumb and requires no skill but just rare luck. Also I really wish they’d nix the ads in the paid “ad-free” version.

so much FUN!!!!!!. This games is amazing it has different skins that you have to do a challenge to earn each skin and you can try to complete the challenge section with start easy but get really hard and each different themed ball would do something special like if it was a heart little harts would come out of the back and you don’t need Wi-Fi so you can turn off Wi-Fi and get NO adds at all so I can get really far in a hour another fun thing is it saves your high score and you can try to beat it and and there is a timer in endless mode where the higher the score the faster the time if you like anything I said you might fall in love like me.

It’s Horrible. It wont even let me enter the app it just keeps kicking me out and when it does work i have to turn my iPad off completely and then it only lets me play for literally 8 seconds.

Sound doesn’t work.... This is a great game for times when there is nothing to do but the only thing is, is that when I’m playing there is no sound only the vibrations. Either this is my phone or the game it is still good. (I play on an iPhone 5S)

Dunk hit.. Dunk hit is a very fun thing to do when you are board and it passes time. I enjoy dunk hit and I don’t even play sport and it’s amazing how technology can make you want to do sport more often and now this is making me want to do sport, so this is a very good game to get into.

Annoying vibrations. Whenever I play this game my mum tells me to turn it down and on mute. But even on mute it makes annoying vibrations when I get a combo. Hopefully the next upgrade will eliminate my complaint.

Too laggy and ads. I have only gotten this game just today, and already I am finding it annoying, the fact that I can't tap my ball 2 times before the game just lags on me, causing me too miss the hoop and lose every time. And yes, another thing I have a problem with is the ads, in the middle of the game an ad always pops up when I'm playing. It's annoying because even though the ad is playing, it doesn't stop the game from still playing and by the time I'm out of the ad I either have half the bar or lower before the ball gives out and yes, I know I could pay for ad removal but I shouldn't have to pay because it's ruining MY experience, for right now I'm giving this 2 stars before it is fixed and I hope it does because this game has potential to make this an addicting, fun game.

Great game, pretty addictive and I’ve practically finished it all but on challenges 19-20 when I smash a hoop and clearly goes straight it in comes up with level failed and I’ve tried many times but had the same result so I screen-recorded it and can show if you like. VERY ad heavy. First off, the game itself actually is pretty easy and fun to play... BUT..... there are ads after EVERY SINGLE game played. Whether you want to continue your previous game to build up score or start a new one, there will be ad(s). Some of the ads you can’t close out for 30 seconds or more. Some with loud or annoying sounds or music. It kills any enjoyment I got of the game and I deleted after a couple of days. If the ads weren’t so aggressive I would rate the app higher but they’ve made the ads part of the experience so I think a 2 star rating is reasonable.

Really good game!. The only issue i’ve found is that when a notification pops up, it lags and it often messes up my rhythm. Awesome game. Amazing game but it is very easy to get perfects just by bouncing three times and it makes it in perfect every time. But overall I like the hidden skins (like the meteor) and all the other designs. Again totally recommend and it is awesome.

Lag. I’ve always loved dunk hit and it has been my all time favorite game. But the reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is because whenever I turn off wifi and turn on airplane mode, I open the game and it keeps on getting me back to the iPhone’s home screen. If that lag gets fixed, the I’ll rate it 5 stars.

Alright. CUT A COUPLE OF THE ADS OUT. It’s a good game but a very small lag issues. if after you complete a challenge and you die, then you tap it and it goes back to retry and then it goes to an ad. Terrible. The lag in this game is absolutely ridiculous! When you try to do the smash challenge, it almost never counts even though I make it in. I’ve lost count of how many times this has happened. Also, I have to turn off data and WiFi to play this game because there are so many ads. I tried to rate this game 0/5 stars but it won’t let me. I never played a game that’s so aggravating. I don’t see why anyone would ever pay money to play this trash game.

TERRIBLE ONLINE. This game is a very good game, not gonna lie. But it is only good offline. When I play it offline that game is great but when it’s online it’s terrible! The game is always so laggy and I was about to beat my high score and an add just started playing right in the middle of my game!! (No I didn’t beat the high score after that) I didn’t even click on any adds or anything it’s just showed up.

Gameplay is awesome, but.... How could you make a basketball game with no sounds what so ever? How can you not have a swish sound even?
