Nice app. Wish they included maps of each ship

Too many Ads. How can I get rid of ads ? So many of them !

New version is very buggy. I have used Cruise Mapper for over 6 years now, and I have loved it and it has been great until last week. The new update has made it at least for me very hard to move around and I can’t see any ships unless I search for them in the search bar, and even then I can’t see them on the map. It’s a shame because for years it has been such a great app that was simple to use. I hope that this can be fixed, but for now I am a little disappointed in how the app is performing.

Updates. I liked this app until the recent updates. Now, it is not user friendly. Used to be able to zoom in and out with my fingers so I could see all the ships. Not it is not so friendly!

Nice app, but could use a little work. This app is nice and quickly displays the locations of all cruise ships worldwide, including those in the middle of the oceans outside of the range of AIS receivers. It also shows the annual itineraries of most cruise ships. It would be nice if there were more than ten filters for cruise lines as there are still a lot of large cruise lines that have been lumped into the “Other” category. Additionally, the app should not show icebreakers in the “Other” category and exclude these as it does other commercial, non-passenger vessels.

New Update. The new update needs to be fixed it’s very glitchy and made the app not fun to look at anymore they need to fix this.

POTENTIALLY SPYWARE. when I close or open the app now it asks to automatically copy stuff from my clipboard. Like, excuse me? There’s no reason to need this unless you’re spying on me and potentially giving/selling the data to third parties. Would rate a 0 if I could.

I want to like this app. The app is nicer than the website, but unlike the website, the app cannot “show route” and there’s also a banner ad, although not intrusive, but the website doesn’t have any ads that I’ve noticed.

No deck plans. The Android version has deck plans for each ship but not for the Apple version. Would love for this to be updated to get 5 stars.

Works well, can keep track of friends’ progress on their cruise. The app does what it says and I was able to track friends’ cruise ship.

Version 2.0 no longer shows ship info on iPhone. I have the most recent app update. I am on iOS 12.1.4. When I open the application the map is blank there is no ships no continents are shown on the map. I cannot move anywhere on the map. I have removed and reinstalled the application and still no luck. This version worked when I first updated the app but has since stopped working.

Everything you need in one place!!. Been there done that with Caribbean. Now I’m exploring other destinations. Great for seeing which cruise lines/ships sail in different parts of the world. However, wish there was an option to turn off river boats and ferries as it would be much easier to track cruise ships. Europe, in particular, is very cluttered by showing everything. When planning my travels, this app has been great for researching ports, seeing where ships dock, info on cities, ship facts and itineraries, etc.

Used to love your app. Right now, after the latest update, the ships disappear after a few seconds. Currently not useful.

Does not work. Crashes as soon as it opens.

Works great. Knowing where cruise ships are is very helpful in planning future cruise. If you live near a port and love ships it great to know what you are going to see.

Doesn’t work anymore. The recent update really screwed things up. I can see the locations of any ships.

Terrible. This app used to be good. You could search by line or ship. No more. Aside from a very messy graphic, it gives you no information. Could not locate a ship using app....even one I was on! Go back to old version.

Just OK. When it works, it’s ok. Navigation problems with maps Does not scroll

Cruise ship locations. Sometimes it shows incorrect location on map for specific cruise ships. I was following the Carnival Pride recently, and the map showed it was in Europe, not in carribean. If I close out of application and get back in, it sometimes corrects itself. (iPad Pro device)

Discovery princess. the information stated about the discovery princess dining venues is wrong esp the main dining rooms the names are incorrect

Missing ships. Why can’t you see the location of all the ships on the map anymore? Very disappointed.

Need another update. Needs another update. This version will not allow me to view ships and it forces me to force quit the app and reopen in order to see other ships as they all disappear from the map. I amAlso unable to zoom in and out when this happens

Why fix something perfect?. The most recent update needs fixing. The app crashes and not all the cruise ships appear now in the map. Everything was perfectly smooth until that update 😕

Recent Update. This app was amazing before, but this recent update made it even better. Love the new features!

Lacking. Can’t figure out how to pull up the schedule of arrivals at a specific port. Can anyone help?

Nice, but…... Freezes or times out after a couple of minutes, thus rendering it almost useless. If I delete the app and download it again it works again, but only for a few minutes.

Recent update made app unusable. The recent update in January 2024 made the UI completely unusable. When you want to scroll across the map it only wants to zoom in. It was fine the way it was.

Great App. Love this App! Worked very well before the recent redesign and now works even better!

Would be great it map dated regularly. Fun to see all the ships and get information regarding itineraries and ships amenities. The tracker feature is however frequently more than a day out of date and there is no obvious way to update it so its usefulness in actually following a ships progress is virtually nil

Bear app for tracking cruise ships. Not only does it do a great job in tracking cruise ships but you can look at their itinerary to see where their next stop is. I’ve been on some exciting cruises the past year and it was nice that my grandkids could follow along Bottom line, this is the best app to track cruise liners

Fantastic and Helpful. This is an excellently designed app! One can use the map to identify cruise ships nearby when traveling, and with a few taps it shows the itineraries of each ship as well as its specifications. Another outstanding feature is the hotel map/prices link at the beginning and ending point of each ship’s voyage. Five stars! Fun and informative!

New update. This new update is awful. Why would you update a clean interface and convolute it.

Horrible update. The app was working very well. They recently did an update and now it is horrible. Nearly impossible to use.

Stopped working after latest update. Not a single cruise ship on the map.

Complete waste of time.. They haven’t update their shipping location. Don’t bother downloading. Flight tracker is better than ship tracker.

Upgrade becomes downgrade. Why change something that was working great ? The new naming style is almost un readable its so small The names overlap other items again un readable PLEASE REVERT TO PREVIOUS EDITION !!!

Broken the app?. Since the update 21st Jan 24, google maps don’t adjust on zoom and designated ships and routes are not showing, all become incredibly slow? Go back to the old one…. It worked well

Very inaccurate. Like a stopped clock, only correct once a day. Useless most other times.

Great App. Works fine on my iPhone 7. Does search fast and right to the ship / port you want. It is great for checking how many ships are in port. A great help in choosing a cruise.

so slow. newest version takes forever to launch. itineraries open slowly. just not a good upgrade.
