Awesome app!!. Great app, I go down to SAN and watch the planes take off and land. Now I can listen to the traffic, makes the experience even better. The app works great and it has only lost connection once but it refreshed and fixed it self pretty quick

Must have App if you a P......... I have had this since day one. Many many years ago. I am a private pilot and just like many of us I am an airport/airplane bum and love listening to ATC. If your a pilot or just a wannabe :) this is the only App you MUST have :) N 124JG on final and clear for runway 9-er.

Good but.... Great app but 2 issues. I could not get it to shut off on my iPhone 10 . I finally had to delete it completely . Also for ktvc, only ground and center frequencies are available. Most useful would be tower, esp so I can gauge activity before leaving home . Sound was great, clear . But, can’t keep adding and deleting app every time I want to use it.

Amazing. I purchased this app last Wednesday. I am very satisfied with it. I only gave it four stars, because I want you to add one thing. Please add a search airplane, and then tag button so that we can follow it from start to finish without changing frequencies. If you do that, I will change my rate to five stars. Something changed :(. Up until a week ago, I would have given this app 5 stars easy. But for the past week, all I hear is static. Sometimes I can hear voices, but mostly loud static. This is a huge bummer as I loved listening to this as I am a student pilot in training. Worked fine until a week ago. My girlfriend who has this app on her phone says the same thing. Not sure what changed but hopefully they fix it. If this app gets fixed, I would happily give it a 5 star rating.

No way to adjust audio levels. This is a helpful app, and I do enjoy that I can play ATC audio while receiving audio from my other apps… however most channels are super quiet, so I have to turn the volume all the way up to even hear ATC audio… and If there’s a notification or any other sound from my phone.. RIP to my hearing. An example would be listening to live ATC in the car while using google maps. You can set google maps notifications/directions to quiet, however that is still ear piercingly loud since this app has to be turned all the way up. Please fix this.

KIAH Frequencies Still Bad. Both KIAH Approach & Tower Frequencies are still terrible for going on 4 Weeks now and again My chief complaint about this APP is that there is nobody to contact to find out if anyone is working on the issue or not?? I cannot hear the Pilots nor the Tower for KIAH Approach nor the KIAH Tower - just a lot of noisy static - so I have to often come here to the review page but I’d like to avoid doing this so PLEASE get a contact email so listeners do not have to come here to the APP Store and complain that they cannot hear the Stations😖.

Fantastic App!. The premium version of this app is a fantastic deal. This app does everything a several hundred dollar aviation scanner can do, but does it without the effort. No programming frequencies, no making lists of channels from your local airport. It is all done for you and what makes this better than a scanner? Scanners only bring in local frequencies. I am in Miami Florida and if I tire of listening to my local airports, I can hear whats going on at JKF or DFW. Try doing that with a scanner!

Can be better. This app is good! I was debating buying it because you can listen for free online but it is much easier and efficient on the app. One thing I think would make it easy 5 stars is to add some sort of comment section/discussion board where listeners can chat about the things they hear, I feel like most listeners are ATC or studying ATC so a discussion board can be a good place to communicate.

Could be better. My biggest complaint is switching frequencies, I can add favorites but the change channel button disappeared after a few minutes so every time I have to look up the airport or frequency and select the new one. So a quick drop down menu for favorites would be a nice fix.

Like being in the left seat!. This app is great as it is one of the few if not the only app that allows you to listen to live ATC throughout the country and the world. One feature I would like to see added is to allow the app user to input the frequency changes when tracking a specific flight as well as creating a log of those frequency changes and the option to save them so the user will have the most recent and updated frequencies if they have changed.

One of my favorite apps, but I have a suggestion. This app is one of my favorite apps to listen to. It is so interesting to hear the ATC. My suggestion is to be able to choose which frequency to listen to individually. For example at KIAH, I tap KIAH Approach, but there is like 12 frequencies that it is monitoring, it would be nice to choose which of those 12 I can listen to. No big deal, but just a suggestion.

Love this. For a free app, this is really great. Very handy. I can listen to the tower and pilots while watching a plane land on another app. When the aircraft switch frequencies I can use the search function to find the right feed. Perfect.

Great much-needed update!. I thought this app was abondand two years ago but after the version 2.0 update, this brings a great new layout, more iOS-like look and feel, improved navigation, & optimization for iPhone X. Despite a small bug or two, this app is so much better than before.

Great app needs some ease of use tho. Great app would like to see more options in terms of the being able to see a list of the most live listeners by airport or airfields also being able to go a step father and be able to pick filter an airspace to only see maybe class D, C, or B etc.

Connection now drops after 5 minutes. This is a great app, that for some reason has recently became unstable. I have been a very frequent listener and until a month ago, I rarely had a long duration connection drop even on a cellular connection. Now, the feed consistently drops after 5 or so minutes and must be restarted. BTW, I would be happy to pay a reasonable subscription fee to offset development expenses. Hopefully this issue can be resolved. Thanks again for a great app.

Great app with great selection at good value. As a new aviation enthusiast, I find myself listening to this app several hours each week while I work. There's an amazing selection of frequencies to choose from and I don't understand the complaints from others regarding selection. It's unrealistic to expect all airports and frequencies but the major airports are covered here. Awesome selection. I love choosing a random airport and then cycling through the different frequencies for ground, departure or approach. Great app for a good price that's even more fun when used with a live radar app. I highly recommend this.

Good, not great.. I much prefer the website to the app. First, on the website it clearly lists the frequency alongside the description. On the app it will just provide the name (i.e. KSEA Ground) without a frequency. To find the freq you have to select the channel and then select “view frequency.” There is ample room on all pages to show freqs, requiring extra click-throughs is just bad UI. Second, there is SIGNIFICANT delay on the app vs. the website. The website is typically within a few seconds of real-time, whereas the app takes a very long time to load a channel and consistently has delays of 30 seconds or more. If you’re listening to ATC in conjunction with plane spotting, such a delay makes the app practically unusable. I’m still a huge LiveATC supporter and the website is still an excellent resource, unfortunately this app is poorly built with too much lag to be useful.

App won’t play for more than 5 minutes. I’ve noticed the app will no longer play for more than a few minutes. It will stop playing after about 5 minutes and has occurred on all frequencies I’ve listened to recently. It also doesn’t seem to matter if I am in the app while listening or not. This seems to be a new issue as I haven’t experience this before and I’ve had the app for awhile. Please fix this is as it’s frustrating having to press play over and over and over again. Thank you.

Pretty good. I use this app all the time. As a pilot I enjoy listening to ATC and pilots and follow them on a “radar app” as well. The app works well but I wish there was a way to input a frequency vs choosing from a list. Some of the sectors for Seattle Center aren’t available to listen to. Update?? Otherwise I think the app is the best of its kind.

It could be better!!! But here are my problems. 1.stations are available one day and off the next. Not as reliable as I would want. 2.its not free, thus making me think that they would put in effort to try and keep stations that they already have! Not relying on (us) people to do the work for them and add the stations. It's good but not great. But I still like it. They just need to put more work on it.

A great tool when flight instructing. First, and most importantly the radio feeds for LiveATC come mostly from people like you and me that spend the time and a bit of $ to set up a receiver that feeds the site. I set up a feed right at our local small airport terminal building by request of our airport Board of Directors where the Raspberry Pi computer with a Software Defined Radio (SDR) attached to an 126.0 mhz antenna, and the internet feeds Unicom/CTAF to LiveATC. I use this as a teaching tool. I have students listen to tower and ground traffic at various airports and then explain to me where the traffic is in relation to the airport or on taxiways, and where they are going and how. This helps students learn how to make a little radar in their head of traffic around them. Also, helps students get use to listening to ATC and what to say when talking back. Also, after a flight lesson we will go back and listen to the archive to talk about and re-listen to an exchange with ATC we had or someone else had where had issues/questions. My interactions with the staff of LiveATC when setting up the feeds was excellent. I know they are super busy, but they were a great help getting the feeder set up on the raspberry Pi. Thanks

Many feeds are horrible and not maintained.. I believe that the platform is just fine. A bit antiquated but it works. However, many of the feeds are poorly maintained and very noisy. Lots of channels are not actually working and no one cares about it. I sent notice to the developer and nothing happens. For example, CLT only has departures and no approach. Controller transmissions are noisy and low quality. SJU approach and departures you can only hear a loud hum and one way traffic. Not sure how that can happen for so long without someone looking over. You know, I paid for the app. It’s not free and for that we expect a good level of service.

Great app - a couple suggestions to improve. Very useful to find out firsthand what’s happening in preparation for travel. And with more and more gate to gate satellite-based inflight Wi-Fi you can follow your flight throughout. That said - please consider the following: 1) Please list the frequencies a station is covering as per of the table cell when opening to select a feed (favorites, change channel, or directory). When listening to the feed there is a list. This doesn’t need the description- just a comma separated list of frequencies. 2) Would be great to have more than airport diagram linked, but also departure/arrival/approach plates. 3)This one is tougher and not sure it’s possible. But would love to be able to enter a flight number and find what channel the flight is on. 4) In the feed frequency page, it would be great to know if feeds are mixed, or if a stereo split then which feed is in which ear. This probably means a bigger change but it would be helpful. Thanks for a great app and thanks to everyone who provides feeds to the system.

Suggestion: Audio Archives?. The website offers a way to access audio archives, which is very interesting. I wonder if that feature could be added to this app? Anyway, I come from a family of pilots and we love this app! Great job!

My top 3 apps. I’m an aviation nut. This is my top 3 app easily along with the gold version of flight radar. Using those two together is very fun while plane spotting. Being a user of the website and app for years and I have very little to complain about.

Great App that replaces the infamous United Ch9. This app is the best you could hope for in the environment of overly regulated Air Traffic Control audio. Not only that it allows you to listen to music while tuned in. Wish more apps did that. 5/5

Won’t stop playing in the background. When I’m done with the app on my iPad I swipe to close, yet the app will somehow turn on and connect to my headphones or car Bluetooth if my iPad signal is left on. This app for whatever reason just starts playing even though it isn’t loaded/opened. It’s quite annoying. Other than that the app works well though the radio are difficult to hear though that’s common in aviation anyway. Over all worth the money I just wish it only turned on when I told it to.

Good app, could be better. It just seems like this app does not have a lot of user-friendly support where you can make complaints on certain feeds for example I listen to the Oakland international airport feed and I am bombarded with ATS automated terminal service I believe constant information they used to have a separate Channel for the main tower that is off-line now and they do not give an exclamation why it’s off-line and enough information to users to find out if that particular feet can be replaced it’s like it’s there one day and gone the next and no reason is given no updates or anything like that on any of these scanner type police radio apps or airport apps that’s just not right and unfortunate to the developer can you please put in some more helpful support so users can get in contact with the feed providers and if they are not up to par find someone else who can do the main towers for Oakland international airport sorry I’m so picky about this but it just seems unnecessary to listen to the automated terminal information stuff when you want to listen to the main runway and tower and the seeds do not sound the same 1 feet is stronger than the other was two speakers thank you

Love it. Great app.. Living in San Bruno hill over 3 decades and all runaways visible insights and watching planes land and takeoff was a real treat for a lifetime. As a ham radio operator since teens I have been a fascinated listening KSFO frequencies. This app is the closest you can get listening to the frequencies. Now that I'm close to retirement I've move up north and start listening to 3 airports in my area. KSMF,KMCC,KMHR.

If you can add Apple car play function?. Hi I am driving a lot and wanted to have this app also in the apple car play system, so while I am driving I can easily swap and select the station I like. Or at least I can select the favorite station…. Thanks so much! Leo

Channels are not guaranteed. As a student pilot one of the last things to check off my list is controlled airspace. No big deal, I use the radio regularly but is is nice to listen to Live ATC to get familiar with order of operation. Every day for a week or so after purchasing the app I listened to KDSM which is not far from my home and where I will be flying in and out of. After a short time the channel just disappeared off my list of channels. I can listen to other airports and get the basics but it is not the same as becoming familiar with your home airspace. I’ve been waiting to see if it come back and roughly two months later it has not. 5 stars easy if it was dirt cheap or free, or if I got the frequencies I wanted.

Wow. I've read some bad reviews, I guess you can't please everyone. This is my favorite app. I love this app I spent most of my life in the USAF and love flying and to listen to the talk between the crew and the ground tower is amazing I read a review that said this is time delayed 10 secs is this true even if it is I still keep listening. It sounds like this should be illegal I never knew so many foreign pilots flying in to SFO barely speak English

Crucial Airports Missing. Dont take me wrong, this truly is a magestic app. Although it would be great if the airports Ezeiza and Aeroparque (Both from Argentina) could be added. I dont know how the adding airports policies work but for sure this ones would be great.

Don’t waste your money!!. I just downloaded this app, nothing works. I’ve tried a few channels and they all say connection error. I’ve tried clicking on diagrams and things and nothing comes up. My Internet is working just fine. It took about 10 seconds to take my money and upload the app, I’ve been waiting to connect to a channel for 20 minutes now. Not happening.

The Gold Standard of Radio Apps. I have used this app on three continents and dozens of airports. It does exactly what it should, without an unnecessarily cluttered interface. Stop looking, you've found your ATC monitoring app! Oh, and for those complaining abut occasional outages, keep in mind that this app uses feeds that are provided and maintained by volunteers. Until you are willing to do the same, stop criticizing and consider some gratitude for those generous souls providing this great content.

Tremendous help. I purchased this app for my student pilot training because I was terrified of having to talk to ATC. After using this app, my fear vanished. In fact, I gained so much confidence by listening to "tower talk" that when it came time for my first cross country solo flight, I was extremely confident--and ended up having no jitters whatsoever when talking to tower. I highly, highly, highly recommended the LIVE ATC app!

Latest Version Is A Big Step Backwards. The latest version starts with a message in red NO CHANNEL SELECTED even though it is playing one. A lot of the time when I try to select a channel by hitting the blue bar SELECT CHANNEL it will kick me back to CHANGE CHANNEL screen. When first starting it doesn’t start with the channel I last listened to. Also what the heck is the Blue bar at the bottom with the L and R on either side.

A little deceiving. Was super excited because my local airport was listed when I purchased the app... 2 days later, it has been removed. I'm hoping that I just had bad luck and this doesn't happen to most people who purchase this app for a specific location, but I did want to share my concerns. It's a great app, but I probably would not have purchased if I would've know that my local airport would never connect and would be removed 2 days after my purchase. Waste of $3.99 in my opinion, so be careful if you're looking for a specific region...

Great app. Frequently won’t quit.. This is a great app that I love listening to or even previewing pattern traffic before a flight. I frequently have a problem with the app continuing to run and broadcast through the phone even though the app has been closed (and yes....closed....not just in background).

Very poor Don’t waste your money. This app basically gives you the impression that it can will work at any airport . IT DOESN’T !!!!! I live about 1 mile MDT Harrisburg International airport and although this app has what looks like the frequencies loaded up on this app those airport frequency are always down . What a joke I can see the commercial jets taking off and you know they are talking to the tower and see them on radar on another app. It’s just I can’t listen to the tower talking to the planes, because this app seems to not be function correctly . I feel like I got ripped off of $3.99 . What a joke ! Like I said don’t waste your money !! I would rate them a zero if I could …..

Love the app, why the criticism?. It’s strange how many 1-star reviews criticize either the availability of a particular field or the quality of the reception. Do they realize the feeds are crowd sourced? One guy complained about paying $4 for the app. Well, this app is worth every penny of $4 for those interested in aviation like me. If you want a field added, then go buy a scanner and hook it up. If you’re dependent on this app for a critical operational function that is broken when the feed goes down, then you’re insane, buy a VHF radio. In the meantime, try to accomplish 5% of what this app does for $4 and I’ll applaud you cheapskates with both hands.

Great app. Love the access via nearby and other airports. I use it to help my ATC communication improve. One item of feedback. When I am on an airline flight and my flight is being handed off to another frequency it would be great to be able to search on frequency like you can on the web site.

Great but lacking. Great app but unreliable for FLL airport there is no way that you guys can not get all the feeds for this airport back up after 9 days I’ve contacted you 5 times about this issue for KFLL all I’ve gotten was we will reply back typically in a day or two and the email is a reply a day to 15 days for a reply back and how does this issue not warrant an immediate reply back this is urgent you are alienating the FLL spotting community that use your app me included just fix it

Great for student pilots the aviation curious and old professionals. When I was learning to fly a struggle a bit with communications and talking on the radio, and my instructor point to me into this app which let you listen into pilots and controllers talking to each other at airports both small and big. I got to practice listening to read backs and then see whether I could catch all the information. It's amazing to be able to pull up radio calls from airports all around the country and be able to listen to what radio comes sound like when the weathers good when the weathers bad on a busy day, during a major air show, and it's all as close as my phone.

Fun for enthusiasts. Paired with a flight-tracking app, this one makes listening in on far-flung reaches that much more enjoyable. If there is another update I'd love to see some kind of chat function, access to the interesting recordings on their website, and time of day included on each airport's listings.

From a Pilot. I've been flying for years and I gotta say, this is the site/app that helped me learn communication with Air Traffic Control. Talking to ATC is like second nature to me because of this. Amazing app to have! However, see if you can get KSAN Clearance and ground on there for us? Keep up the great work! - CF

B better. The software seems to work but you can’t select a discrete frequency which means several frequencies are taking over each other. The frequencies are listed separately but they are for information only. Who knows, maybe there is some law restricting this feature but it would be very nice to have.

Quits playing without notice. Just as the title suggest. I like to listen to my home airport as background noise or listening for practice with my own conversation with ATC when I fly. Without warning, it will just stop. I won’t realize until I notice I haven’t heard anything for a while. When I go to check, sure enough it’s stopped. So aggravating, I’d expect that from a free app, but this is a paid app. Update- I have discovered that this issue is from my device automatically switching from LTE to 5G or vice a versa. I’d like to se an update that would resolve that issue.

Decent app - add archives. This is a good app - but it doesn't have the past recordings (archives). I'm not sure why, this seems like it would be a very easy feature to include so we don't have to go to the website to listen to the archives. Also the receivers need to be located closer to the broadcasting sites to reduce static.

Happy chappy. It does the job. Until now I used "aviation radio" with limited suxcces due to "line of sight" limits. It sounds like a real radio. BUT It does not cover my airport (YPJT) busiest general aviation airpot in the Southern Hemisphere. However it gives you pleanty of worldwide airports. I reckon it is a great idea and worth while product. At this price a bargain. Great for new pilots or even the one who getting higher quall. such as IFR. It seems thought, that more then one frequency is covered which makes hard to follow the sequence.. But thats only me.

Where did Sydney go?. This was one of my favorite apps until last week when all the Sydney channels became unavailable! Please restore the Sydney international ATC channels so that I can recommend this app to my friends and Neighbours again...

To much static. I used to love this app, but since moving it is vertually useless to me for YSSY, which is the airport I listen to. It takes ages to load, sometimes not all, and has so much static it's impossible to make out the conversations.

Love it!. Really love this app! As a private pilot who can't afford to fly much, I use it a lot!!I run it alongside planefinder then you can both see and hear the aircraft and lots of info about them!

Keeps crashing. With iphone 12 ios 16.3 the app keeps crashing and turning off regularly might be good for an update

Australian LiveATC. This app rocks! I'm a GA pilot out of Brisbane [YBBN] This app gives me the opportunity to hear whos up there when I'm on the ground in my office or car. Commuting all over Oz I spend a lot of time at airports waiting. Now Brisbane has a new 'always up' feed, I can sit in the club and listen to all the action I'm seeing airside. There's Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth [YSSY, YMML YPAD & YPPH]. This app would be great for enthusiasts too. Looking up at that jet on final... you will be able to know exactly what their up to! Love it! Six Stars!!!!!! especially the Brisbane [YBBN] feed ...

Adds on. Need to improve to add interesting recording from the original website and ability to listen to the archives

Great App but now having problems. I used this app to assist me with Class C and D airspace radio terminology, however now it won't load and it's now useless, any advise please would be good

CarPlay support. Great app (I run the YGAW feed) CarPlay would be great to get an idea of what traffic is doing when driving to the airfield.

Lacking. I bought this App to listen to ATC at my local airport which is Moorabbin in Melbourne Australia. This is the biggest GA airport in the whole state and the leading training airport in Australia. This app can’t even see that the airport exists. Very disappointing.

Brisbane hasn't worked in weeks. Why hasn't Brisbane worked in weeks? Starting to get really annoyed with this!

Can’t listen on multiple channrls. I like to monitor multiple channels at once, the app doesn’t allow this and yet you can with the free LiveATC website by opening up multiple browser windows.

Mr. Great app, not quite 100% live, but that is understandable. Only issue with it is the extremely low volume. iPad volume is full, even plugged into speakers with volume full it is far too quiet. Please consider fixing this in an update and it would gain another star. Cheers

Please Add YMMB to the app. Just downloaded wanting to listen to Moorabbin Airport YMMB. Usually listen to through Tristar aviation, it is not available on iPhone any more.

Love it. Very stable, sometimes it can't open a channel " connect " restart the phone or app and then it will connect. Would be great if there was coverage for UK not sure why Australia can have small airports covered and not one for the UK. Overall a fantastic app love been able to listen while on the move or at hne.

Great! But.... This app is a great idea and works well, but it would be my favourite app if you added Melbourne intl (YMML) because you have perth, adelaide, sydney, can't remember if brisbane does but you only have Moorabin in Melbourne which is boring. So please add Melbourne airport. Thanks.

Melbourne Center/Tower has been down for months. Hey guys, Why has this frequency been down for so long and are there any plans to fix this? It’s my local airport and I’m really keen to listen in and watch the radar for pilot training purposes. Thanks 🙌🤘

Split channels. Would be better if there were only 1 channel rather than multi frequencies playing at same time. It would make it easier to follow conversations on one frequency

Great user support. I wrote some feedback saying Brisbane airports ATC audio wasn’t working, and within a few days they replied saying they had added new feeds to Brisbane airport. Above and beyond service and great app in general.

Fantastic. I highly recommend getting this app and teaming it up with another one called flight radar 24

I have a favorite new toy!. Fantastic app - great selection of countries and airports - always very clear and definitely fits its description. The best thing about it is that air traffic radio operates at a very low bandwidth, so it doesn't chew through your internet usage at all! I listen for 30 minutes and its around 5MB. Great fun, easy to use and oh so fun!

Great updates. One of my favorite apps of all time. Great to see it updated after a year or so, the need to reinstall favorite channels while is painful but it’s short term pain for long term gain. Well done guys! :)

Top-notch App. Use almost daily, does what it says on the tin, so happy with that. I’m wondering if there’s any plans for CarPlay support in the near future, would be cool to have the app there on the screen, ready to go.

Not bad but…. … I want to listen to the tower at YMEN and YMMB but separately. Need to split the channels because to listen to these two you also have to tune into Melbourne centre, YMML, and every other frequency in area 30 it seems. Great app otherwise, really easy to use and no bullsh&#t.

Essendon Airport Victoria Australia. I’m not happy with Essendon Airport frequencies being down for a very long time. Why hasn’t this been fixed?

Disappointing. Most of my designated airport communications are ‘down’. Keep trying to connect but I just keep getting a generic ’sorry. We are working on it’. Disappointed so far & not worth paying for either.

Perfect. Been using this app before it was even an app! (on PC). Perfect for anything your looking for. It does seem to loose airport connections in bed weather.... Either that or it's a coincidence. Other than that, faultless!

OBVIOUSLY US BIASED. I haven't used the app often. But it'd be expected to work whenever you did. The one time I come on and try to listen to Melbourne Australia, surprise surprise...it's not available. And away you go.

LiveATC. Very stable app that delivers on it's promises. Well worth it if you a aviation buff or frequent traveller who wants to kill time in the lounge wondering what's going on outside. Who need a radio scanner when you have LiveATC.

Great. As a frequent flyer this grabs my attention. It's interesting to listen too,especially when combined with a plane tracking app! You can listen to tower and see your plane, outstanding.

No reply when asking a query. Very disappointed we have requested several times asking when YBBN Brisbane will be up again, we simply don’t get any reply!

Amazing. Tons of airports, hundreds of feeds. The guy below said it doesn't have tullamarine which is true in the case of the tower and approach etc but The moorabbin feed plus the Australia satellite feed have heaps of frequencies on them including the center frequencies all around Melbourne so it's far from non existant. If you are an aviation enthusiast this will blow your mind.

Live atc. This is an amazing app, I love it (I use it while on plane finder), just one request can you please fix the perth airport ground, it says that there is approach, tower, ground and departure, everything else works but ground! Thanks

Useless. Brisbane not working most times. No updates for over a year now. How frustrating. What's going on?

My Hobby has come to the iPhone. Been a scanner of the airbands for years. So glad now 'there's an app for that!' too. works nicely can simply. Now I can always have a scanner in my pocket. Great job! And yes, Heathrow please and Changi as well whilst you're at it.

Great App. To start, I’m a private pilot. I use this LiveATC constantly on my computer to listen to my home base (CYQG) while I’m not at the airport. Just found out that there was an app, and I love how I can listen to this on my phone, and better yet in the background while doing other things on my phone. Great app!

Overall it's ok. I broadcast two feeds on here. Overall, it's one of the best air traffic control feeds out there, compared to the other less advanced feeds. One of my two feeds doesn't always stay on after 7 minutes, but my other feed, I can leave it on for the whole day with no problems. It's perfect for on the go and at home. Sometimes it disconnects and reconnects, but that's just a minor inconvenience. I do recommend it for anyone else. The weather METARS take more than a half hour to update too.

Lock Screen Controls Issue. While I can stop streaming from the Lock Screen controls, I cannot restart streaming from same. In order to do so, I have to go through the app.

Great App. I took this to Las Vegas and had a hotel room overlooking the airport. It was interesting to hear the tower as I was overlooking the airfield. I really love this app as I'm a former pilot and miss the tower chatter!

vert impressed. i live in Montreal CYUL, what i like the most is that you can plug in the power and still listen to it with the screen off! great app and a key to mastering the radio when piloting an aircraft. good job!

So slow for YYZ. I mostly listen to YYZ, but app is very slow. Hard to connect to YYZ. Please fix this problem

Excellent. Rock solid product and really useful, especially if I don't have my scanner with me. Worth the modest investment, and lasts longer than a small latte for same price!!

nice application. I like the application it gives me most areas of the airports to listen to. I even can listen to far away airports like HOng Kong, Buenos Aires even France. Suggestion to offer airport map of the runways for each major airports

No archive access. I bought the application to listen to archive on my phone, but the app doesn’t offer this option, even if it is possible on their website.

Disappointed - app offers much less than the free website. First, the UX is one of the worst I’ve seen so far. Favorites are almost useless, looking for a station is not a great experience and above all, there is no archive available. I should not have paid for the app… disappointed:(

ATC App. As a flight attendant it's a very cool app to have. I really enjoy it and have recommended it to all of my friends. It would be cool to see the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson (YWG) international airport on there though.

Tower @ YYZ Toronto, Ontario not working. The tower feed from the control tower doesn't work, only the arrival works. I would like to listen to the tower feed as well. Not happy with that.

Does what it says. Does what it says listen to various ATC channels. Interface isn't the prettiest and buffering takes a while even on LTE

It works in the background!. Just what I was looking for, the audio still works when the app is in the background. Now I can browse the web or watch FlightRadar while listening to ATC. I couldn’t do that with the browser version of LiveATC.net.

Local airport not available. I am upset that Hamilton airport is not available, but a much smaller (Burlington) is available. Any way of getting Hamilton added to the list?

Needs Interesting Recordings. I only visit the website to listen to the Interesting Recordings section. Awful to listen in mobile browser, wish this app had access to it.

Nice app. Like the app wish there was a time out duration setting. Having to restart the stream after every 5-8ish minutes is a little frustrating.

Great App but won’t shut off!. I listen via Bluetooth in my vehicle. Turn off vehicle, turn off app...come back at night and the app is immediately on my radio via Bluetooth! Only way to stop this is to cycle power on the phone. So is this thing sucking data the whole day?

Multiple air ports? Only 1 frequency at a time?. I remember 10 years ago when I first knew of this site that on my laptop I could get multiple channels for the entire airport. I wouldn’t have purchased it

Good app. I don’t get the low score and bad reviews. The app is good and works as it should. I didn’t buy it before because of the low score but I wish I did.

Price misrepresented. I just downloaded the app and it was listed at $3.99 in my feed. When I clicked on the $3.99 button and downloaded it, I was charged $9.99 through Apple Pay immediately. I haven’t opened it yet, so I can’t report to the quality of the app, but I’m very disappointed in the additional charge that wasn’t stated.

Not worth more than $1. I thought this app would be pretty cool to listen to ATC however many airports are not listed and the ones that are listed are not available to listen to. If more was available to listen to it would be great but it would be even better if the ones that are listed would work. Not worth the money I threw away getting it.

Constant disconnects. This has been a great app. Recently though the app constantly disconnects and I need to manually restart it after a text or email arrives on my iPhone X. I use the Pro app and hopefully developers can resolve this. I do have autostart set on.

HELP. NO WAY TO CONTACT THE DEVELOPER That I can find! Not even through their website! I would like to be able to change the name after saving stations to my favorites, can't see any way of doing that. If the developer will contact me or make provisions for me to contact them, I would be glad to change my rating from one star!!!

Works but... As others had stated. One day after purchase of this app my local airport was removed... this can't possibly be planned. It still works for major airports though. Wish they didn't charge for something that doesn't fully do what it advertises.

Great app!. I’d love to be able to listen in on more airports, such as those who don’t have atc. I know it might be hard, but as a student pilot who flies out of an uncontrolled airport, I’d like the chance to be able to hear more on the uncontrolled airport side.

Love it, but it is so quiet. I love This app however it is so quiet I have to turn my volume in my car almost all the way up to hear it. Then when I get a text it’s like a sonic boom went off in my car.

Great app. I personally want to be part of an act crew and learning all of the callouts and phonetic alphabet is great in this apps software, so if you are leaning towards downloading this app I wouldn’t hesitate to do so.

Won’t shut off. I didn’t use it very much. It worked fine. It would be a cool app except it won’t turn off - even if I close the app! The only way to turn it off was to delete it. I’ll try it again when they fix that bug.

Great app but needs more airports. I love this app for virtual plane spotting on Flightradar24, but when I want to listen to London towers, or any European towers, it doesn’t give me the option to. It only does Asia, North America, South America, and the Middle East, not anywhere in Europe

Opening UI Screen worse. This program functionality is still great. LiveATC remains the "go to" app for aviation buffs. The The overall UI seems less polished then previous versions. Particularly noticeable is the opening screen, that is more crude then the more polished versions of the past.

Bravo. like it. but it needs something. I love it I’m a big plane fan and I love it just needs one thing automatically switch to the next channel. But other than that it’s a great app

Works Perfectly. As I’m writing this I am listening to a Southwest plane do a touch and go at Sac International. You can have other apps open while listening and it’s all live. Definitely worth the price. 5 Stars!

Streaming. Quick Shut out to the programmers. Thanks for working on the streaming. That has always been something that has plagued me.

Great app ....but. So I got the app for a specific reason. Which was to monitor KLAX but it has not worked at all for that airport. It used to work great but for some reason it's always unavailable now. Can you guys please fix this.

Audio. I really like the app however, a lot of times it’s hard to hear what the pilots are saying and it’s a little frustrating. Can you fix this please?

Lose frequency too often. I'd recommend fixing frequency loss. I wouldn't mind so much if it was a free app....but when I pay for it, it shouldn't drop like this. When it's up, it's great to listen to, especially when watching the planes on Flight Aware (free app) at the same time!! Try it!

Something happened. The app doesn’t play more than 4.5 min before turning off. The same player will work with no issues on the web page. Version History shows 2 years since last update. Maybe some cleanup is in order

App needs work. The app is a huge let down. Takes forever to lock onto the frequency and constantly kicks you out. I can only listen to KFTW tower by my place for a few minutes before it stops working. Huge improvement needed, I suggest going with an old fashioned scanner if you want to truly listen in.

Update Problems. I don't understand why your new update deleted a majority of the frequencies on the app that I actually used. KMCO had a good 8 channels and now there's only two. I used to use KISM for their information since it's a local airport, now I cannot. I paid for the full version, it was great, all the way up until yesterday when it decided to update and remove everything. Please fix this....

Would be my dream app.... ... if you could somehow tag an airplane and automatically follow them through the various towers and channels as they are being handed over! =:-O But I love the app already!

More locations. I wish they would put Metter or riedsville airport in Georgia in the search engine so I could listen to my friends and dad.

Gets the job done. Pretty nifty app, and definitely works as advertised with no hiccups. Part of me wishes it were prettier but I'm just glad somebody is filling this niche and scratching my itch for atc :)

Ok. When I first got the app a little while ago it worked great and I had a lot of fun using it. Now however, it seems to have a major problem with connectivity and it seems like every airport I have tried is not connected or as the app puts it , a streaming error. I wonder if this is fixable.

Needs a gain adjustment. Needs a volume adjustment to turn up quiet feeds. With the latest features, I like to have music on in the background, but unless the music is super quiet, I can’t hear ATC. Please build in a way to turn up the app volume!

Learning tool. This app has greatly helped me improve My radio communications and made me get Better grades in aviation school. I focus usually on my local region. Or I listen to other airports that I’m planning to fly into.

Won’t stay on frequency. I like the app but it just doesn’t stay on, it just keeps stopping and I have to keep hit the play button over and over and buffering way to much just to hear traffic, needs massive improvement and someone who actually knows what they’re doing

Not very good. As a real 121 airline pilot I purchased this app to track other flights, you can not set a frequency to listen to such as departure or Center frequency's there is a list of airports with some frequencies, but there is no way to track a flight along the whole route. If you want to listen to random ATC it is ok. But that is it. I should have saved $4.50.

Stop working after a few minutes. The reason I downloaded the e app was because the web version keeps stopping after a few minutes of transmission and for my (bad) surprise the app is the same . Very frustrated.

Does a good job. Not sure what the negative reviews are about. I use the app and haven’t had any problems. It does what it says it will do. I like it so far.

Excellent for student pilots or pilots working on Instrument. Love the new update! I’m an active pilot working on my IFR rating, live ATC is a great way to listen to live ATC in a great variety of locations, it’s an excellent learning tool. Highly recommend!

I had a long review that wouldn’t post. Just know that I’m a brand new ATC operator and my boss uses it to listen in on the ATC facility when she’s not in. This app is pretty cool, feed is pretty spot on to what we hear in our headsets from the pilots, OI is easy to use. 8.5/10 would recommend

Now why does it do that 🤔. So KPHX is my home base and I listen frequently. But I have noticed that at night I can only hear ATC and not the pilots …why is that?

I like the app but hoped for better. I love the app, I am just a little disappointed because I can’t select my local airport even though it is an international airport. Other from that, This is a great app

CVG Airport was not on the list. Not happy with App. I was at CVG airport viewing and saw the sign to download this app while I was there with the kids. So I thought this would be good for the kids to hear and I bought the app. well, once it downloaded, CVG was not even a option. This was very misleading, considering the sign even says to type in CVG. I spend $4.00 for nothing. I tried to contact the APP, but could not find any info! What a WASTE!

Pilot Review. To preface this review, I'm a pilot and know what ground, tower, and center radio should sound like. I, like most customers, purchased this app for one airport. The frequency is 99% static and 1% actual communication. For all I know this is some random communication from the 70's with static played very loudly over it. You can't understand a single word. Please don't waste your money like I did.

Not bad, volume won’t go up. Worked really good for the first three years or so that I had it and suddenly the volume won’t go up! Can’t hear it, deleting app. Tried contacting support, keeps saying my e mail is invalid?

Decent. It’s alright, but it often goes down. It would be less of a concern if it was free, but a paid app shouldn’t have such issues. Many channels simply don’t work and it’s disappointing. The UI is rather outdated as well and not particularly user friendly. Overall, great idea but poor execution.

streams go down a lot. it has potential, i recommend checking the liveatc site first. if the stream you want goes down there a lot, it’ll continue in the app. I thought it would auto reconnect but looks like it doesn’t.
