Royal Caribbean Ships.. We have sailed on Royal Caribbean "Anthem of the Sea" five times over the last 7 years. It's home Port is "Cape Liberty" Bayonne, NJ. We always have goods days on board no matter where you are and what the weather is. Their basic food plan is great for variety and quality. We always buy 1 or 2 premium dinning which costs a little more but I love their " Chef's Table" dinning. Space is limited to 20 guests. It's a wine & food pairing experience. The ships chef greets you and explains all 5 courses. The wine experience is similar and is explained why a different particular wine is served with each course. Definitely a class act. We live within an hour's drive from our home to Bayonne. We hire a car & driver so we do not touch our luggage from our home all the way to find them in our spacious cabin when we enter it. There is long term covered & secure parking. For us it's the least stressful vacation we have ever experienced. Peace.

Blue lagoon and ship handicap access. My husband was walking with a cane from a heart surgery 5 weeks ago 2 times once at blue lagoon and once departing he was circumventing to a longer route. At Blue lagoon they changed to pickup area in the opposite direction that they told us at drop off. My husband literally had to double back to the adult area that we were in from the originally drop off! This was a terrible lack of communication to our group! We also had to wait for another shuttle about a half hour plus to leave BL. Sad loss of time! We enjoyed it there (food could improve in adult area)! That island and the ship needed more golf carts or wheel chairs for situations involving the elderly! More handicap accessible options should be evaluated in all situations! We did overall enjoy our trip of course, but if on RC again I will be calling and figuring out how to request more assistance this way! Also I did cal customer service the Weds or tues before and he said we weren’t too far from the elevator, however floor 2 room 2306 was not in a “friendly” location for shorter walks. I also would want to request 4th floor by elevators and hope that this can be honored! Thank u for your time

Good App - Missing some features. For the most part, this app has a lot of nice features, but there are a few places that could use some improvement. Daily Planner does not include a lot of Adventure Ocean details. There were a few events which were in the paper copy, which were not listed in the app. Consider giving Adventure Ocean it’s own daily planner so people without children in the program can have a less cluttered view. On-board chat missing from app (at least on Allure of the Seas). We purchased the Wi-Fi package and use our iPhones for this, but it would be a big improvement to offer this feature in the app. Airlines offer free chat without a wi-fi purchase and the previous RoyalIQ app offered this as well. Ability to make reservations in the app ahead of your cruise. You can book reservations through the app once you’re on-board and you can book through a computer in advance, but there’s no continuity or consistency. Use your phone as your sea-pass and your room key. For those who’s phones offer this technology, it would be great to unlock your cabin through the app as well as to have the ability to make purchases. Create an ApplePay/Google Wallet equivalent to purchase chips/tokens at the casino. The casino is one of the few places where cash is used. It would be nice if you could use Apple Pay or Google Wallet (or create RoyalPay) to make these purchases.

Negative experience - same with Celebrity. I am writing this review to express my dissatisfaction with the Royal Caribbean Line (RCL) App, which has significantly impacted my experience in a negative way. Despite the potential for a seamless and user-friendly digital interface, the app proves to be clumsy, awkward, and poorly laid out. Navigating through the app is far from intuitive, which makes what should be a straightforward process overly complicated and time-consuming. Moreover, the app’s performance is below acceptable standards. It frequently freezes, which not only disrupts the user experience but also causes significant inconvenience, especially when trying to access critical information or services promptly. This issue seems to be compounded by the lackluster internet service provided, which far from meets the expectations set by today’s technological standards. The slow and unreliable connection adds to the frustration, making the use of the app more torturous than pleasurable. The combination of these issues considerably detracts from the overall user experience and falls short of the high standards expected from a renowned company like Royal Caribbean. An app designed to enhance the customer’s experience should not be a source of stress or inconvenience.

Terribly unreliable app. In an age where reliability is so important, this app is horrible. It takes forever to load and is frequently wrong. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the ancient chat feature. If you hope to use this app to stay in touch with others in your party, abandon all hope now. You *might* get a notification that you have a message only to realize that clicking on the notification leads you to no message at all. RC wants you to pay for internet and reliability, and you will have to if you really want to get your messages (and not from the RC app because I bought the internet package and I still didn’t get most of the messages). In addition to the worthless chat feature, do not be surprised if other features of the app are slow to work. Before you get off the ship, check your account constantly. If you have charged anything to your account (and even if you haven’t ), that feature is the slowest to update. Do NOT leave the ship before getting your final balance or you will find that you have no way to protest charges to your account. In general, this app is horrible, but RC gives you no other choice but to use it. You are trapped, and they know it. Thus, they have no incentive to fix this app or do better by their customers. I know this review will do nothing to motivate them to fix this app or create a better one, but at least I have tried. Please leave a review, and maybe, someday, they will listen.

Credit card issues. I’ve been having nonstop issues with credit card. Every time I changed my credit card, it changed a different person’s credit card to mine, and they could use my credit card on their account. And sometimes they would change their card info and then I would have someone else’s card on my account. When I logged out and logged back in, it would show no card but also did not have an option to add a card. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app, and the credit card issues continued. I have no idea why this is happening, the staff tried their best to help me but they don’t know why this is happening. This is only my second time cruising with RCCL. I’ve done all the troubleshooting on my own and with guest services on the ship. They said they had never seen the issue before. The only solution was for guest services to manually enter my card at the counter and then I had to review the statement at the desk every day to ensure that the card wasn’t randomly changed and that I wasn’t charged for someone else’s bills. It was an incredible inconvenience to my experience. My friends, family, and I hesitate to cruise with RCCL again because of this major app issue.

Not the same. RCCL has lost its charm. The high cost of cruising and the nickel and diming you to death has lost its charm. It’s no longer affordable for most families or individuals they have to go into debt in order to afford a cruise. The food quality has slide downhill and if you want that lobster or a fillet that you used to get, you’re going to pay for it, the individual paid restaurants Food quality is not worth the high cost. You have to pay in order to dine. Royal Caribbean’s voyager of the seas is tired and needs to be updated for a four-day weekend cruise are no longer worth the time or money. Why bother cruising to a higher level when you just keep removing amenities and giving ones that aren’t going to be used by many that the higher levels we used to enjoy to make it worth staying with Royal. Most of it is worthless. We are being forced into buying things that normally were free. I guess after you lost money because of Covid now you’re gonna make up for it by sticking it to cruisers. You’re just not worth the high cost of doing a cruise. For what you offer. You’ve gotten worse than carnival.

Covid. Unfortunately there was a lack of continuity and vagueness in the Covid protocol which lead to a very stressful experience for my family. As I am traveling alone since my husband’s death I was behind the group and last to be checked in. As we had all followed the same protocol for presail testing and they had been passed through you can only imagine my surprise when I was detained and told I could not board without being retested. I am fully vaccinated and presented a negative test taken within 48 hours of departure. Before leaving my home I had checked your site and we determined that taking the test 2 days before departure and 3 days after our flight to Amsterdam was the most prudent and within the guidelines provided by Royal Caribbean at that time. After I was detained my family was stopped and also forced to retest. My father is handicapped which made for a more stressful experience. In the future I would hope that better training and consistency will make a better experience. Thank you for reviewing my comments and taking them into consideration for future travelers. Sincerely, Dawn M Bates

It’s been a minute(room 8642)Jay. I just went on the stars of the seas cruise on the weekend of august 20-23, and I got to say it was the best weekend of my life. I want to give a shoutout to my server Michael and Rey they really knew how to make a guy feel special at dinner including the room service, Fernando who made sure my room was good to go after I ran in the mornings! The shows were a hit!!! And the food across the whole ship was amazing! I did not spend to much time at our stop at coco cay, and took a huge lost in the casino :(. But my trip over all was a success!! Trevor singing at karaoke and seeing many more crew members helping everyone to have an amazing night every night! I am not a royal Caribbean regular this was my first time in a long time but as a 31 year old my vacation was to good to be true and I hope to see you guys really soon!! Thank you for all you guys do, crew members you truly made my the best days and nights of life! Lol i could have cried getting off the ship I had so much fun, thank you for the moments! I apologize for not tipping well but i promise because of you guys I will not spend it all in the casinos next time! Lol and I’ll bring my friends next time so we can even have a better time!

Great but could be better. I like the information on this app. Especially the events that you can put on your calendar. However, I would suggest two improvements. One, there is a chat feature between you and the other members of your party. The only problem is that you do not get notifications like you do on your normal texting apps. So someone can text me something but unless I go in there purposely to look and see if somebody texted me, I will never know. So you can go hours without knowing if someone texted you. We only use this feature to let each other know where we were because of that. Two, it would be nice if there was a map that showed your location on the cruise. I often wanted to know where we were in relation to the island or in general. That would be a nice feature. I often noticed that the Wi-Fi provided on the ship would go in and out depending on where we were on the ship. This is not good when you’re trying to communicate with somebody else.

Amazing crew!!!. Utopia of the sea is amazing and beautiful ship. It definitely has the wow factor but what makes it amazing is its crew. The RC crew is absolutely fantastic!!! They are pleasant, helpful and are willing to go the extra mile in order for its passengers to feel safe, comfortable and most of all that we have a great experience. I’m beyond impressed and grateful that I was able to experience this adventure with Royal Caribbean. It was my first and most will not be my last. I booked two further cruises while being on the cruise. I would like to thank Sheldon, who cleaned my room every day. He did such an amazing job. It’s so funny how I would get lost constantly looking for my room and he would magically appear to guide or walk me to the room. Thank you to my dinner crew Sakban, Junlong and Francisco for making my dining experience so fun, interactive, entertaining and enjoyable. For all the chiefs and Staff for the great attention and great delicious food at the windjammer morning, noon and night. For Raymund(washy, washy) for the fun, entertaining and attentiveness. Thank you to the amazing staff at Zunie (habachi and sushi) Restaurant (Billy and Sally). Thank you to Esteban for helping me book my next two future cruises. Thank you to all the Staff from the royal beach club for the attentiveness, entertaining, hospitality and fun experience. Also the food is absolutely delicious. Thank you to all!!! I absolutely love Royal Caribbean!

Love everything about Royal. For years, I had been loyal to Carnival cruise. We had a crew scheduled on carnival that was delayed twice and then canceled due to Covid. When we decided to reschedule, we found Allure of the Seas and cruised on her and have never looked back. The whole atmosphere on Royal is different, a little more tasteful if I may. Everything on Royal was great, from the food to the shows to all of the events that were available to us. And let’s not forget the best thing about Royal and that’s the crew. We had the absolute best room steward (we say that on every cruise lol). our servers we’re always great and attentive and anyone we saw from someone doing maid service to those running events, everyone was helpful, greeted us with a smile and made sure that we got the answer to our questions promptly. I enjoyed every cruise I had on Carnival, and there were many, but I feel a little bit like royalty on Royal Caribbean. we took my great grandson on his first cruise and he wants to know when he can go back he absolutely loved it. We sell on. Wonder of the Seas in December and we are just a little bit excited!

Confusing with Minimal Detail. This app is incredibly confusing when it comes to dining and accuracy. There are benefits, the aesthetics and the daily planner are well done. However, I really had an issue with My Time and Traditional Dining. It was never explained, when it was explained, it made no sense. There are two types of dining traditional (reservation) and “my time” even with my time you still need to make a reservation. However, there were times where the “reserve now” button on the dinning option did not pop up at the bottom of the page. So odd. When I nicely tried to explain this to the managers of the restaurant they were rude and loud and made a scene in front of the people we were sitting next to. We simply did not understand. We weren’t trying to take someone’s reservation. In the end I suppose it doesn’t matter because we ate at the Buffett and customer service was very nice and did hear my concerns. I just wish I didn’t have to have this unfortunate situation for my first cruise. It really was a damper on the whole trip. My suggestion is to go more in depth with the notifications before the cruise, whether that be a section in the app, or an email explaining that no matter what you choose, you need to reserve a time.

Not the best Royal I have been on.. The crew was amazing but food was less than desirable this time. Our personal room attendant was absolutely wonderful. Dinner was not anything to look forward to. The food was bland so we started eating in the Windjammer lounge instead which is not what I expected on a Royal cruise ship. The menu repeated itself almost nightly so we kept going to the windjammer instead. The port time was the shortest of times and the excursions team in Nassau was delayed by the an hour. So we hard to report at 7:15 and didn’t even get to our destination till 10 and had to leave at 12:45 to come back. It was supposed to be a 5-6 beach time turned into 3. There was way to many repeating movies and shows on this cruise so just stayed in our room like hermits which we could have done in the comforts of our own home for the cost of airfare and automatic gratuity that was added without permission to our bill. I was told something totally different from casino Royal than the Royal Caribbean cruise and they informed me they were not on board and would have to wait to talk to them once we get back. Why is there NOT a representative on each vessel.

Cruise 9-14 to 9-9 Grandeur of the Seas. Had a great time on the ship. Service was awesome to point someone out specifically “Deva” miss washy washy at the Windjammer was so much fun with amazing energy. Our room attendant Ramon was very helpful and attentive to our needs. The entertainment was awesome with the exception of the 70’s night show with some of the dancers had zero energy and never smiled the whole time. We did mention this to the activity director Katrina and she said she would review the tape of the show. The comedian was really funny, the bands, the dancers, singers, flag show, night club was amazing. We stayed in a ocean view stateroom which was great with the exception of mold growing on the shower curtain. Plenty of storage and drawers for our belongings. The Solarium was beautiful looking but could not even use it due to it feeling like a sauna inside there. My wife has asthma so she couldn’t stay in their but I was also sweating just sitting at a table. For being the only adult area for relaxation in a pool there needs to be some way to get a cross breeze or some kind of circulation in this area. Our past 2 cruises were on the Oasis of the Seas and we were curious on how it would be on a much smaller ship. We were very pleased with the service and calmness that the ship had to offer I hope this review is helpful for your consideration. Kevin and Catherine Buch

Super frustrating!. It seems this app was designed without thought to usability. This app is useless for scheduling events on larger ships, unless you plan your time to the minute weeks ahead. You will be presented with options for events that are sold out, then make you to go all the way through the process to book the event, then end with a generic error. Obviously the information about capacity is available, since Royal Caribbean guest services knows this information, but apparently the app only access it at checkout, then presents a generic “something went wrong” error. Annoying feature #2, this has a messaging feature so you can stay in touch with your party. EXCEPT, there are no push notifications. Am I really expected to have the app open and constantly monitoring the app for messages? Literally learn push notifications. Update: The developer response? “ We sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered with our app. Our team is constantly working to improve the guest experience. We have forwarded your feedback and comments to our developers so they can look into the matter promptly

Most amazing dinning staff service. I have been working in the Casino business for more than 21 years and my husband‘s been working in casino business for more than 43 years and he is now retired. We usually dining out our twice a week . And we have been dining where the most high end, some very prestigious setting, or some moms and pops kind of restaurants. We know what is good and best or worst service. This 7 nights symphony Royal Caribbean dining service really “WOW” both of us. Our waiter and assisting waiter, not only can remember our names from the group of nine people, and they remember who and what likes to drink after 1st night we met. The whole dining experiences was consistently Warm, Pleasant, Flawless, not too much, not too little. It was perfect to the tea. The service that most impressed me was because my name is very hard to pronounce. but he always refer my name with perfect pronunciation when they offer if I would like any drinks. I felt they treated me like close friend but highly respected friend. Every night we looking forward to see them and they were the highlight of the night. I also noticed a other staff who working at Park Café. He was constantly cleaning, carry dirty plates and cups, wiping down the tables, full of tray and trays in and out. One night I was there waiting for the guitar performance around 5:15 PM a couple ask him if there are still bags of chips inside. He replied with smile ask how many they would like to have, and he put down all that heavy tray and ran inside to get 4 bags of chips for them and came out with happy smile. I was Stunned with how he was over the top up and above with his enthusiastic attitude towards so many demanding request all day. I couldn’t help myself. I walked to him and took a picture with him. I will keep Carcia’s picture and he is now my mentor for me to go back to my job, which is also very demanding working environment. I have to praise highly for Royal Caribbean HR. How are you guys hire the best of the best.

My experience on grandeur of the seas.. Where do I begin- will NEVER again be a passenger! 1. Was in room 8026. A disgrace- broken bathroom door that had to be pushed to open and closed. 2. A pole at the foot of bed wrapped in tape. When I asked what the pole was for I was told “construction for ceiling. Not very pretty. 3. Public use bathrooms ALL disgusting. Stuffed toilets, paper towels on floor and a strong urine smell. 4. Dining room (gats y) is decent if you enjoy cold food) - waiter and busboy were great and caring) - regular buffet had no one making fresh omelets or someone to cook fresh food that wasn’t laying there. We go on 3 cruises a year so we can compare cruise lines. Most all other ships offer fresh food and are open till late at night for a snack. 4. Bedding not quality, lumpy beds and pillows and my back is hurting. 5. Entertainment was just ok. Jersey boys were good though.- so all in all it was nice to get away but quality I have come to expect was not there. We were last on princess. They had so much more to offer. 24 hr open sandwiches dessert and coffee station, best quality linens and beds and food in different venues offered included- a person in ladies bathroom cleaning up as you left and spotless. Same with msc (yes msc) and celebrity. I am a diamond member and don’t think I’ll get to diamond plus. So you asked and received. Take that ship to dry dock, take poles in rooms out and FIX structure (should never put passengers in a room like that) and make it modern, clean and retrain your people responsible for keeping bathrooms useable.

Great Cruise. The whole cruise was amazing. The crew went above and beyond to ensure you were taken care of. The ship was beautiful and well taken care of. The room steward (Ida) was the best ever. Our room was always clean but she was never intrusive. She always took care of it, multiple times a day, but it was always while we were out. The entertainment was always fun and there was always something to do or see! The cruise director (Elizabeth) and activities manager (Michael) kept it fun. They were always working to keep everyone entertained. The food was great. The Windjammer (buffet) was great and the waiters were very attentive. The dinning room was one of the great highlights of the trip. Our waiter (Michaelvas) was beyond exceptional. The assistant waiter (Gerard) was amazing. They both got to know us and remembered our preferences throughout the trip. They knew what you wanted before you could even ask for it. Are true believers in Royal Caribbean now and will be taking many more trips!

Meh. The type of crowd the ship had we loved not a lot of partying college kids nor was is packed like in like concert. Only issue we had I have a child with Autism and they issued us a room with bunk bed. ( Not at all what we book had 2 beds and couch) went to guest service the couldn’t do anything about it until ship left port. After the 4th time of evening of spending my first day what they heck we are going to do. Back forth of why my child couldn’t sleep in a bunk bed then switched to why can’t adults sleep in bunk bed argument. Around 5:00 on first day with addition 100$ upgrade to do so they placed us in a “new” room. Right over the centrum so you just moved an autistic child from quiet unsafe room to a safe room with constant music blasting till 12 am every night. Couldn’t complain to guest services because the music was so loud you couldn’t even talk to them nor they understood what concept of having someone with autism. My parents were on the ship with me and was going to act as guardians as well but they were placed in small interior room, so we as parents didn’t get a vacation off. After we had to paid the 100$ upgrade we had to spend additional 100$ internet fee just to get a white noise to block the constance music blasting.

Robust in some ways, but also needs navigation upgrades. The RCCL app is good in many ways, but it also malfunction sometimes and is missing some features that could make it easier to navigate. For instance, a hamburger at the top might allow for better navigation overall. It can be confusing to try to switch between Cruise reservations if you have more than one. Also, I’m trying to find a way that I could see another sailing of my ship to get an idea for the activity schedule and theme nights, but I can’t figure out how to do that. Even if you look at the cruises to be booked, I don’t think you can get that type of information yet. I would prefer to be able to see the theme nights of the cruise in one place and not have to scroll through each day to find them. Further, it would be helpful to get them more in advance. When you’re actually on the cruise popping in and out of the calendar is sometimes cumbersome. I haven’t seen a search function and the on board chat is a nice to have feature, but it works well sometimes and not others. Overall, I appreciate having the app and use it multiple times per day while on the cruise. There is a lot of good information, but I don’t always find it to be user-friendly or easy to navigate.

Check in nightmare. We were on time for our 2:30 check in. We were directed to go to a line that had people ranging from 2:2:30 check ins. We then stood in line for 2 hours while they let people who had arrived late to go ahead of us. Why???? We had beat ourselves to get there on time. If you are late you should wait behind people who were on time. This calling people who were late to the front of the line went on for 1.5 hours. Ridiculous. Then there were people who had all kinds of exceptions that had to go ahead of us. The customers standing around me were mad and frustrated. The people wearing teal shirts were idiots and no one seemed to know what they were doing. The teal shirted idiots did not know what each were telling the customers waiting in line. I did not feel catered too. Also standing for 2hrs in the heat…no one offered water or drinks. The teal shirted idiots spoke harshly and were rude. I know we are all dealing with covid but we were asked to show proof 3 times through the check in process. Why? I even had to submit proof of vaccination days before. Why?? Get your act together Royal Caribbean. By the time I got through check in I was miserable hot sweaty and frustrated and thirsty. Cruise has not left yet so I’m hoping they can change my mind and emotions soon or part 2 to this review will be even more negative. I hope writing this review changes this process for someone. With technology it doesn’t have to be so hard.

Making payments through the app.. I think it would be a great idea for you to update your app. When I click on my cruise, there should be an area for me to click on to pay on that particular cruise without me having to re-enter my name and reservation number since it’s already displayed in the cruise information portion that’s safe for me on your app. As with Norwegian , I click on that particular cruise and a drop-down screen or ask if I would like to make a payment or view my cruise reservation. If I click on make payment there is an additional screen that populates without me having to re-enter my cruise information. Isn’t that genius? It saves time and cuts out a step of someone having to click out of that screen and having to back write down a reservation number (that should already be there in the pop-up screen, considering it’s from that reservation that you’re making the payment from that brought you that next second screen. ) and have to enter it when it can already be there through the genius of technology. Please help us to work smarter not harder. Thank you for your time and consideration on this review. Tyrone M

Disclosure. My only complaint is the description of events need to have disclosure of who is sponsoring events and they need to also stick with honoring what the events say. For example the back posture seminar didn’t say anything about being sponsored by the good feet store. Regalia is my main complaint. I went there for the color event which was supposed to have a Drawing and free gift. All I got was a 45 minute sales pitch to buy a $6000 ring. We had to just leave. When I went back to get the complimentary friendship bracelet they referred me to that same guy to try to do the same sales pitch. Then when I went on Wednesday for the charm event at 630 they turned everyone away and gave them a paper to come Back at 7. I had dinner reservations at that time so after dinner I went back and the guy took my papers and referred me to the quick talking salesman again. Seriously need to give out the bracelets with no strings attached and no pressure.

Nightmare still happening. Two weeks ago I found out my mother, who was planning on going on this trip with us, had terminal cancer. I contacted Royal Caribbean to remove my mother from our travel plans and it has been a nightmare ever since. We have spent over 11 hours on the phone, combined with contact with their legal department, and top executives in their customer service department, and as I type this, two people on our trip still don’t have their reservation correct because three times they have canceled everyone in my mothers room rather than just removed my mother. On top of this, they are constantly sending my mother updates with every change just further rubbing it in, that she will never be able to go on a cruise, or even a vacation ever again. Also, She doesn’t want a future cruise credit for canceling. How ridiculous! On top of this, they asked for medical information on my mother, which is clearly a HIPAA violation as if this situation (as I am crying on the phone) is something that I would lie about. I cannot believe, that two weeks later, we are still trying to get this corrected. I have so much stress and anxiety about what is going on with my family, the last thing I needed was stress on trying to take my family, including my children, on a vacation. One of my children at this point has lost their reservation!! Am I supposed to leave a 12-year-old at home?! Or better yet, put him in a different room by himself as you suggested because you somehow managed to give our connecting rooms away during this process?!! This just indicates how ridiculous the service has been. I should’ve been spending these 11 hours with my dying mother, yet here I am, again waiting to hear back from Royal Caribbean on our situation. All I want to do is cry over this situation. Thanks RCCL for making this such a wonderful experience (sarcasm).

The App has lots of potential if RCL would use their investment. The app has potential to be much more useful before boarding if the data was regularly and timely provided and updated. For example, we are taking a multi family vacation on Odyssey of the Seas’s Transatlantic cruise. We all bought Dining packages and want to coordinate our specialty restaurant nights. The selection of which nights to schedule is largely driven by the Main Dining Room menus. The app provides the means for RCL to post this information. However they don’t regularly or timely post it. Consequently we have to spend time after boarding going through the “meeting” to choose the nights vice spending time at the pool bar starting our vacations. RCL can use the app they invested in and often seek feedback about to maximize utility for the guests. Also, the same thought applies to special events and venues reservations. The means are there because I was able to schedule my “Book” theater time, but so far nothing else is posted with less than 25 days before the cruise. Better use can be made of the tool purchased.

The best cruise ever. Star of the Seas has absolutely everything to make an enjoyable vacation for everyone. Nothing was left to chance. The entertainment was incredible. I was completely blown away with the new game shows. Especially the Price is Right which awarded real money to the winners. The Back to the Future musical easily rivals a Broadway production. And the set and special effects was “OMG” amazing!! I can’t stop praising this ship and the work that went in to make everything so pleasurable. The staff was the absolute best. I had an issue on the second day before the Captains formal night and our housekeeping supervisor Shahrukh promptly handled the situation and made us feel special everyday for the rest of the cruise. I will be writing a more extensive review of him and his staff separately as they deserve their own page. Giovonni’s and Chops were deliciously incredible. The chef ant chops came to our table to make sure my husbands lamb was perfect. ☺️. Thank RCCl for making our anniversary vacation the best.

Trip 2021. This was our first trip on a cruise. I am a young single mother, and brought my 7year old. It was a little nerve racking going just the two of us, but we will absolutely do this again! Between the staff that had helped us, Alfredo V for our rooms, he made the experience wonderful, my son was so excited to see what he would leave him each time we came back to the room. The wait Staff, Sylvester and his assistant made each dinner amazing, they even remembered our orders and were more than gracious. Also to the staff in the breakfast buffet, Bernadette, from the Philippines, smiled and was a pleasure, she helped us as soon as we came in each morning. Also we would like to send a huge shout out to Christine, from the Philippines, who was our assistant wait staff, she made each meal worth it! Christine was so enjoyable and we wouldn’t have had a better breakfast without her!!! Thank you to all the staff, it made our first cruise a memory we will never forget, and also helped us make the easiest decision to book more cruises in the future!!!

Wow, what a cruise!!!. Cruising is a wonderful way to see amazing ports in this world and RCI is a fantastic cruise line. Our latest cruise was on Vision of the Seas with cruise director, Clo. Clo had a very active part in the cruise. Several of the acts contained personal friends of hers and they were fabulous. If you have an opportunity to see Zoe Tyler or Kenny James, do not miss them. Their singing is unbelievable and their styles are very different. As Clo told me they are both great, just in different ways. And she was right! The dining was also exceptional, in the buffet, formal dining room, and specialty dining room, Chops. The wait staff was very attentive. Our head waiter in the formal dining room was Neptalli and his assistant was Rommel. They seemed to always be around for us. If you like steaks, be sure and visit Chops and ask for Michael. He was an extraordinary waiter. Our room steward, Puresh, was also efficient. Whatever I requested, he made sure it appeared. He also accommodated our schedule with his cleaning. By now, you can tell I really enjoy cruising on RCI and RCI gets a 5!!!

My experience on Allure of the seas. I had a fantastic experience on the cruise . The staff were amazing. We were always made to feel welcomed. They spared no effort in making us happy. Special mention must be made of our state room attendant Haris. Akata from the pool deck. The entire staff in the Wind jammer restaurant including Geronimo, Tennet, Maura, Allison and Jesse. Romayne the chef was fantastic in bringing the Caribbean flavors to our table Natalee always checked on us to ensure that we were happy and assisted in making the most incredible meals. Our very favorite person on the cruise was the amazing Bianca (Wind Jammer and Iron Grill )who went above and beyond to make every moment in her presence an absolute pleasure. Our experience would not have been as enjoyable without that little dynamo. She has become a friend and we all look forward to seeing her again. In closing I will be recommending Royal Caribbean to everyone I know. Thanks to everyone for a truly remarkable experience.

It needs some work.. Not taking anything away from our trip aboard the Harmony. Everything was enjoyable, except the app. I experienced many lost connections with the account before we even boarded. It would not display my itinerary or reservations already booked online. Upon boarding, Guest Services assisted me and they were excellent. Unfortunately they too could not understand why it performing in such an odd manner. I will not bore you with the solution attempts but we were there for 30 minutes as they tried everything. Finally, their solution was to remove me as guest 1 and make my spouse guest 2. Now, my app worked on my iPhone XR. It continued to be problematic throughout the cruise. (1) It was lose my account and I’d have to login back in. (2) it would disconnect me from my itinerary and we would have to delete and reinstall the app (every time). This was Guest Services solution for these incidents. (3) after disembarking and returning to the ship, the app could no longer find my account even when attempting to login again. This happened at Coco Cay and the other two ports. Guest Services again had to override something on the system for it to allow me access again. When it worked. It worked well. Easy to use. Prompted reminders and notifications of reservations, shows, events and excursions. Again... when it worked. My spouse’s iPhone 7 worked flawlessly with the app though so we used her phone the majority of the time. Both phones were using the most current iOS and the most current RC app version. Had it worked on both phones then I could have easily rated this as a 5 Star app.

Amazing!. Royal Caribbean never disappoints. We are addicted to cruising because of how awesome Royal has always treated us. We tried Carnival once with a group of friends and we quickly regretted it. Carnival employees were often rude, and Carnival “nickel and dimed” us for every little thing. And debarking with Carnival was a 2-hour long process as every customer on the entire boat was in an extremely lengthy queue. Imagine trying to get a couple thousand people off a ship through a single exit!! It was frustrating, stressful and really nonsensical. We vowed never to return. It was such a relief to be back on Royal again this weekend where every single employee is kind, the food is amazing, the talent is outstanding (far greater and far more tasteful than the talent on Carnival), and there are no additions to our bill. As a matter of fact, we were given pre-cruise credits and we ended up with post-cruise credit on our bill as well. Royal owes us money. How about that! Nothing beats Royal Caribbean!! Don’t even think of trying another company!! You won’t regret it!! Try the Allure for starters. Your mind will be blown!!

You will never go back to other cruise ships after experiencing Icon of the Seas💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻. I am a frequent cruise traveler. Sixty-six years young. The Icon of the Seas is unlike any ship I been on. The ship is humongous! It’s like a New York block. Food options are numerous. The atmosphere is great. Lots of young folks enjoying be young. Lots of old people enjoying being old. Separate areas for children to wear themselves out. Children’s areas also has food in this area. Parents have access to food and alcohol beverages in same area. If you like to vape, smoke cigarettes or enjoy a good cigar the outside smoking area is extremely large with comfortable seating and the bar and pool are close to this area. The middle of the ship reminds me of an outdoor mall with many stores for ladies who love to shop. Everyone who enjoys walking will find this ship got you covered. I could go on and on describing how different this ship is, however I might run out of character spaces.

Ship and Staff. First time in RC and I love the Allure of the Seas. The crew are amazing. Special shout-out to our Main Dining wait Eduardo and his assistant Jackie. They made our dining experience spectacular. Not only that the food were delicious but their level of service is beyond great. Their smiles and friendly attitudes made us feel welcome. Our housekeeper, Piya. She did a terrific job cleaning our room and made it look comfortable to come “home” to. She is very friendly and always talks and jokes with us every time we see her in the hallway. Shoutout to Julius from Philippines. Every time we see him at the Widjammer buffet and Sorrentos Pizza, he always says hi and talks to us. Even if we were just passing by at the promenade, if he sees us, he always acknowledges us. He’s an awesome dude! Jennelyn from the photo department is also one of the staff that we connected with. Her friendly personality and happy self don’t go unnoticed. We always talk to her whenever we run into each other. All the staff are amazing. My husband and I truly enjoyed our cruise!

Problems with scheduling dining online when you have six people. We booked as so many others two years ago our trip on Royal we are diamond members as a gift we purchased three cabins for my son and his family when the Covid hit we had to reschedule using our vouchers and I spent two hours on the phone with Victoria and rebooked our trip. That time she booked all three cabins together or so I thought and we were supposed to receive my time dining of 615 we just learned a week ago that we were not linked together and we cannot eat together unless we have a 745 evening dining both my husband and I are on medication and need to eat before a certain time called and asked to link us and we wanted to eat dinner together especially for the holiday which was the purpose of us purchasing all three cabins. Yet we were told that we were not linked and the time was gone. Very upset and wanted to let you know THIS IS WRONG. We are on Harmony of the sea with a sailing date of November 21

Poorest customer service ever to superior service Thanks Rick. Granted no cruise line can control the CDC, but our September cruise has been cancelled. Given 3 options but the lift and shift is a joke. They mandate that you must book same cruise for 2021 within 4 weeks of your original 2020 cruise date. If you do not do that by August 3, 2020 they will “give” you a credit of 125% to use on a future cruise. Go to website. Cruises only listed out until May of 2021. I called and asked if I could lift and shift to one of those dates. Was rudely told no it had to be in September or October to be valid. I was very disappointed and figured we would take the refund and never cruise Royal Caribbean again... But then I decided to give customer service one more chance. Called the next night and Rick answered. I explained our dilemma, Rick listened, asked if I minded waiting while he spoke with supervisor. When he came back he agreed that the “exact” cruise was not going to occur in 2021, but if we didn’t mind having our second day at Coco Cay turned into a day at sea, we could book our same cabin choice on the same ship from the same port, same duration slightly different itinerary. We are now booked for October 4th 2021, the difference in price was absorbed by RC. Rick was compassionate, calm, and very reasonable and he took the time to help us reach a compromise. If the crew next year is as devoted to customer service as Rick, then Royal Caribbean may be seeing us many more times.

Online check in process is a nightmare. We’ve all taken a flight and checked in on line to make our journey more efficient. We wait until the check in time is “open” and then check in where we are given boarding passes or at least an order of boarding but nope …. Not with Royal Caribbean it seems. Was right on to check in at the open time but the website said “sorry we’ve encountered a Glitch… Try again later” so we went to the app… this time the message is “check in has checked out”. Called CS and the call taker’s solution was “just wait and try again”. No one in IT or CS was willing (or able) to solve this. Their canned response was “just wait and try again and if it still doesn’t work call again”. Why? My problem becomes more important the more it happens?? How about work with me to solve the problem and perhaps make a happy first traveler with your line? We are not new to sailings but certainly are to this lack of concern and assistance. Makes me worried that this is the level of care we might expect on board the ship! Maybe if we were Diamond members Royal Caribbean might care about us! Not a great start and would not make this mistake again at this point.

First experience. I’d like to start by saying this was an enjoyable cruise. This my 6th cruise, 4th on Royal Caribbean. I’ve cruised the Liberty 3 times before and I have to say I’d choose the Liberty over the Harmony. I just feel that there are just too many guest. The entertainment was good but full almost every time. To me the food was not as good as the Liberty either. The Windjammer was not as big a the Liberty or at least it didn’t seem so. We would have to walk around for way too long in my opinion to find a place to eat. My son brought 3 friends on this trip. He is a 17 year old senior in High School. His three friends are all 18. He could get in to any of the comedy shows that were 18+ with me or his mom. I think that is ridiculous! So a large number of the things we would need to do we didn’t so he wasn’t left out. And lastly, the one thing that happened that really topped the cake for me was the fact that we can’t go to the front of the ship to n Harmony. On Liberty I would go up there every morning and enjoy my coffee and the track and very little lookout points as well. That was very disappointing. So I was able to schedule photos on the Heli pad on the last port day and adjusted our port day in order to be back on time to do so, just to find out that got canceled that morning and I wasn’t notified until coming back on ship early and waiting for the photo people to give me the news. In all it was a good cruise , the ship is very nice, the staff were great as well. All of that is to be expected from Royal in my opinion, that’s why we only cruise RC and cheer lead for them to everyone we talk to. I won’t be complaining about Harmony to anyone either. I just don’t think I’ll be back on Her, which does mean I will have to travel much further and probably won’t be able to cruise as much. Thank you RC for another great cruise experience and see you again in the future.

Must have if you’re a fan and traveler of RCCL. Love this app. I haven’t used it yet on the ship but I’m looking forward to it. Right now on pre-cruise and I can see almost if not all activities on board. From balloon animals to cupcake making to wine tasting to the famous quest events (adult and family!) you can review it all once you have signed in with your user information. It can show you deck plans, information on events, if it’s free or has a cost involved. Is it designed for young or adult. Most of this information use to not be available to you until you saw a daily cruise planner on board. Now you can review before you go and help you plan your trip and then once on board you can add these items to your daily planner (can not add an event to your planner until you are on board, only down side). If you are looking for anything you’re able to fine it here, I hope! I will let you know once I get back how it worked on the ship.

Bahama Dissatisfied. This was my first cruise experience, I wasn’t overwhelmed by the conditions of the ship. The ship was old so I wasn’t expecting to see a lot of shiny glitz and glitter. But I didn’t expect to see a big stain on my couch, I wasn’t expecting to see dirty plates and silverware either. I saw red stuff on the couples plate beside us and then when my food came I decided to look under my plate and there was food on the bottom of my plate. Those things come from a lack of cleaning and washing or the waiter is lazy when it comes to picking up food either way that’s unacceptable. It’s unacceptable for dirty plates and silverware to make it from the dishwasher to a passenger without anyone noticing. I bought the drink package and the drinks were watered down intentionally. Because this was every where you got something to drink. I don’t know who came up with the idea to bring a group from Australia to entertain people the group impact was a disappointment. I can’t stand Carrot Top or any of the Wayans but I would have at least stayed 30 minutes into their performance before leaving. So with that being said I would do another cruise because there was more things that I enjoyed about the experience than I was dissatisfied with.

Royal Caribbean going downhill. I have been on 7 Royal Caribbean cruises. I have absolutely loved everyone I have been on. From the service to the food to the entertainment on the boat. Everything has always been top notch. I’m not sure if it’s because the hit Royal Caribbean took during COVID or what but we should not have to suffer because Royal Caribbean is trying to make up for your loss. Food on this Trip has been 0.01 stars. I have yet to find anything good. You can tell everything is watered down to spread it out more. From the chicken to the steak it’s terrible. Have always loved going to the Dinning room. Definitely won’t be going back this trip unless I want good coffee. That was the only thing good there. Windjammer is absolutely an insane joke! Bacon labeled crispy bacon. Not one thing crispy about it. Eggs was so runny they dissolved in my mouth. I could go on and on and on. I have always refused to try other cruise lines but after this cruise. My next one I will be trying out Carnival. Hopefully they aren’t making their guest suffer for the loss hit from COVID. You keep this up and your loss from COVID will be nothing compared to loss of guests!

Good app when it works.. The Royal app is well rounded and easy to use. It allowed me to view information about the ship as well as different activities available on my sailing when I went on Odyssey of the Seas in late March 2022. However, there is one glitch that will absolutely destroy the pre-cruise experience. It starts after you book a new sailing. You open the app for the first time, only to be met with an oddly long loading time. Then, you get the regular Home Screen with the planner and the top view of the ship. However, when look closely, you see that there is no information regarding the details of your cruise. No information on the restaurant, the activities, or the venues. You don’t see any option to check in, either. Things get worse when you force the app to close. When you open the app for a second time, you are met with a “Select your Sailing” screen. You tap on your sailing, and alas, you are met with the dreaded “We’re working on the fun” pop up that has plagued many of the app’s users. You realize that the app is essentially useless, and you accept defeat, being forced to check in on your computer. Other than that it’s a pretty good app.

Great Cruise Line with an improved app. The app has improved since my last review in January 2022 which is good to see. We are on our fourth Royal Caribbean cruise this year and we just finished a cruise on Allure of the Seas. I like the the fact that you can read excursions, entertainment, etc within the planner portion of the app and that these can be added to my calendar within the app. If there was a link to the Cruise Compass, a daily on-board listing of activities, that would be great. Fortunately the Chat to Chat, texting within the app, has improved but is still an unreliable way of staying in touch with other cruisers. The text notification has greatly improved as the oval around the three dots in the top right hand corner now turns red when you have a message. Also, I inconsistently received a notification on my apple watch and/or phone. The WiFi, however, on which the Chat to Chat relies, was better on the Allure of the Seas than other cruises we went on this year. However, it still needs improvement as there were areas that did not have reliable coverage for example the balconies. Unfortunately the WiFi does not work with VPN and since it is an open unsecured WiFi I would like the added security of VPN. (Norton VPN was a particular problem as it would not stay turned off. I deleted it and the VPN reinstalled itself but that is my problem with Norton not Royal Caribbean app). The calendar portion of the app reminds you of coming events such as meals, excursions, shows, etc. Also, if you have multiple cruises planned it is not possible to tell which cruise the app is on without backing out, losing what your working and go to a hidden page within the app. The Chat to Chat has a good search capability to find other cruiser that you know. I don’t know if it is limited to just those cruisers to whom you are linked. At $1.99 per phone per day it is a good value. Things I would like to see added would be to search and book future cruises. It would be nice to write a review of the excursions within the app.

Extraordinary unmatched world class service!!!. From the beginning to the end of our seven day cruise the “wow” experience is un matched similar to four seasons hotel experience. Joey head waiter always attentive went out of his way to assure we were happy with our needs. At playmakers Sam was extraordinary always assuring us that he was only seconds away if we needed him. He was so attentive smiling having a professional atmosphere!!! We will definitely miss him as well as Joey head waiter. Sheena a floater from one place to another was also extraordinary and greeting us with a contagious smile. Our waiters were awesome their assistance such as Linda was very attentive (we had dinner at the third floor). So many un named crew members but they will always be thought off n respected for their challenging, difficult responsibilities. Oh I almost forgot our room attendant was incredible always assuring that we had a great day!! I can go on n on the experience that my wife and I was a professional carnival atmosphere with every crew member smiling even when they were tired as well as remembering our names it was very impressive!! Forensic profiling at its best!! We felt like we left a family behind and like they say till we meet again!!! It was an honor and pleasure sailing with an extraordinary crew!!!

Great trip!. I recommend getting the extra dinner package… gormet food-Hooked seafood, Chopped steaks and I had amazing Branzino (Italian seabass), and the Zumis sushi. The stateroom was great space, comfy bed… great pillows, desk and chair that can double as a make up table, lighted mirror, great storage, bathroom works well with efficient use of space. Plenty of hot water for my shower. Bring your own shampoo. Room service was excellent. The staff is very friendly and no lack of events. I didn’t attend events as I prefer my ocean view balcony for reading and journaling, the desk for working and even had TV when I chose to hear the news. The Tv also has complete info on how to utilize venues aboard ship. I don’t drink alcohol but they do have a drink package for unlimited drinks both alcoholic or mocktails. I preferred Starbucks who’s is key for me with hot teas. Their hours are open early and open late. This was my second trip and it was a wonderful time with smooth sailing. I was so happy to get a lot of time with my daughter and grandchildren. Really fun!

The best thing ever in the world. I love it I think it’s gonna be great because like you guys are like the best ever like ever and I thank you for letting us do this because my brother Dominic is going to training for two years and this is a special thing for him and we’re thanking you because I love how you let us do this for a special occasion. If you don’t know that occasion that’s OK it was Dominic‘s going into you know the military obviously because I really miss him and I was crying in the car because I didn’t want him to go and I am thanking you because you guys have been so grateful for letting us come Walton going to Gatlinburg because that’s gonna be really fun with the family name, Ashlyn sprinkles and then our last is PAUL that spells Paul of course thank you for everything that you’ve done for us like everything by Simi be on the thing but who knows I love your company and I’ve been working on this I just love it because you can see all the things and I love the Reno buy a look. I love you and I love your app. See ya.

Ripoff Caribbean could at least have a good app. On where to start. How about UI/UX. App doesn’t take advantage of recent iPhone screen real estate. Some menus you can’t get out off with out force closing the app and reopening. Navigation, when it does work, is extremely poorly designed. App locks up often and requires force closing. Not a single thing we tried to book worked the first time, and some never worked. That’s lost $ for you RC. Other things it would only let us book when we were on ship WiFi? Why? So you can try to get us to spend >$30/PER DEVICE to use WiFi? It’s absolutely shameful to charge for WiFi on top of the thousands of dollars peeps are already paying for a cruise but I digress. There are some easy hacks for this if anyone does a little research. (Note: you don’t have to pay for WiFi to book stuff on their app, but conveniently they don’t make that easily known). Once you’ve booked something…even if it isn’t free, you can’t cancel it within 24 hours. We tried to book a (paid) dinner and it wouldn’t let us because we had a free show at the same time and it wouldn’t let us cancel it. Pretty dumb business decision. We ended up not going to the show anyway so they lost twice. Occasionally things just don’t show up…search another way or get to it on another menu and it’s there, this app just doesn’t always display everything. I would say just go and book stuff in the excursion area, but apparently their devices don’t work so well either. After I noticed a PC running Windows XP (it’s 2024) I guess I can see RC doesn’t care about IT (or at least IT security). The splash screen takes about 20 seconds to clear whether (regardless of your network speed). Another poor design. This is one of the worst app experiences on iOS. They must be paying for review trolls with the amount of stars it has.

Not fair. I made a reservation for a junior suite in March, paid for the majority of the trip but still had a balance, I had a credit card on file that was going to be charged the remaining balance as we got closer to the trip, not seeing any activity I got curious see if everything was okay just to find out my reservation was cancelled, I lost it, I can’t believe that they didn’t call me, they said they sent email reminders but I’ve checked, my spam, junk & deleted emails and didn’t find anything from them, I luckily got some help from a customer service agent and was able to reinstate my trip, I paid the remaining balance and lost my junior suite accommodation, I now have a smaller room, I feel totally ripped off, the sad part is that there was junior suites available but they wanted to charge me an additional 2k , that real scum bag customer service, I may not ever referred royal Caribbean to anyone anymore, Shane on you royal Caribbean for trying to charge me double for something I already paid for, I’m totally disgusted, what ever happened to customer service, I called about 5 times trying to get help, I don’t want a free upgrade I just want what I paid for.

Star of the Sea. Awesome! The first time you step foot on this new ship in Royal’s specialty class, preview the literature and app online you can see and sort of plot and plan where your state room is in relation to the rest of the ship. That way you know where you’re going to be dining and you know where the shops are and you know where the places are if you purchase the beverage package. Certainly, look over the shows prior to embarkation and definitely schedule them for yourself. If you die early, try to go to the early shows so then you can Bar hop or visit the show shops or anything you’d like to do. If you get up late and go to the late dinner, definitely still book your visits to after dinner events. There are so many bars and places to buy or receive drinks from the drink package that you will never be without one. One or two bars will most likely resonate with you and you will probably hang there after you attend your event or before. The options for dining at all different hours are impossible to believe! Kids will find a very welcoming area for themselves on the ship, which is colorful and wonderfully fun for them. Everyone is very helpful who works on board the ship. Treat your room steward well and don’t forget to tip both him (or her) and your servers when you enjoy dining. What surprise me was how delightful it was the first day at sea on our way back to Port Canaveral being able to listen to a harpist!

No Messaging Bubble. Hi I’m currently on Quantum of the Seas and having trouble with messaging bubble after updating this app. It just seemed to have disappeared. Everything was working fine during the first half of the cruise and messaging was working. Not working after doing the update.

App. I haven’t boarded Quantum of the Seas until 4 April, however, I enjoy very much accessing the APP. Provides me anticipation, bringing with it excitement, I really enjoy how Royal Caribbean App provides the total layout of the ship with shops, restaurants, theatre, fun activities, I am really looking forward to the Solarium. I am looking forward to coming on board and checking out our cabin, actually being onboard, this will be my first time on a cruise ship, I am so looking forward to being onboard, sailing Royal Caribbean. Love your APP Dennis

Mrs J Pearson. What a brilliant cruise exceptional. The shows were first class the ship so clean and the beautiful food so much to choose from. Our waiters at our 5pm sitting were the best I have ever had on a cruise with wonderful memories. We did not have to ask for our drinks they knew what we wanted and it just appeared at our table 915. Norman and Debeyanan BRILLIANT they have a score 10.

Was okay to use. I’ve been on a couple of cruises and had range of experiences on these type of apps. This one was good. The layout was really aesthetic and the 3d map of the cruise was also very useful. Some of the down sides were that some of the buttons weren’t very clear such as the tiny message button in the top right corner. Other than that it was a wonderful experience. Hope to be able to sail with the royal of the Caribbean soon! 😀

Royal Caribbean Voyager of the Ssas. This was an absolutely amazing time we had. Never had a holiday like this. In the Vitality Spa, the manager and Roxanne gave us some amazing treatments. The staff are just out of this world. I have never been on a holiday where EVERY one of the them are happy, ALWAYS willing to help and ALWAYS have a smile on their face when they greet you. The staterooms and housekeeping were always clean and fresh. The food and beverage staff, the cruise director and show staff were next level and ALWAYS gave us something to do. Would highly recommend cruising to anyone who hasn’t done it before.

Love RCI Hate the app. The app (and the website for that matter) are woefully bad. The app is slow and clunky, doesn’t update, constantly requires restarting and above all is not in any way intuitive to use. Even more so when trying to connect to vroom internet on board. A lot to duplicate steps and lacking in any intuitive reasoning. It’s a “keep trying everything until you get where you want to be kind of app”. The messaging feature is so frustrating…many messages don’t get delivered, the time can show anything it feels like….a truly awful experience. Love the cruise line…can’t stand the app.

Will not work on my iPad. The app loads and shows my information and then has extremely limited functionality. tried every offered solution but nothing rectifies this ongoing problem. Also it will not open in full screen 9n the iPad. The app does work perfectly on my iPhone though

Buggy and difficult to use. The app looks nice, but it has problems: * when I enter credit card details, it displays last 4 digits and expiry date. But expiry date displayed is not the date I entered. Yes, I’m sure. I did it 5 times and every time it shows wrong date. As a consequence, I don’t know if my card will work on the cruise and customer service was of no help. * I paid a lot of money for a beverage package and internet, but I see no evidence of that in the app. Once again customer service was of no help. * it’s generally difficult to find what you want in the app. It’s not intuitive. UI 101 is all about “don’t make me think” and this app fails pretty bad in that area.

At your fingertips. This app was an excellent tool on our cruise. It kept us informed, kept the correct time when passing through time lines in international waters and most importantly it kept me connected to hubby and our new found friends. We could also sink our schedules so we knew each others movements. Excellent app! Highly recommend

Limitations to use. While RC encourage you to use the app as the go to “bible”, I have found it has so many limitations. I logged into the main website to discover that I had been relying on the app to allow me to book shows, ifly etc. ahead of the cruise, only to discover that (pardon the pun), I have missed the boat. The app doesn’t have that functionality so now I have missed out on the shows and activities I was looking forward to (despite purchasing the Key).

Things to fix. I had a great trip Need to fix the cleaning of eating areas ( windjammer ) , morning sit down breakfast restaurant need to get better at setting tables with butter and jam and not get irritated with clients when they ask for something , Other tha oh my God for a amazing job done was well setup and 99% well done to the crew 🙏 God bless 🙏

Mr j Reilly. I am diamond plus and 300 sea days ,in the beginning of our cruising days we put Royal Caribbean International as a 5 star at the top of our cruising list but over time have lost many extras and recognition it seems to be after all the support we have given them they are not particularly interested in us UNLESS you are Pinnacle or suite guest.i think they should look after the people who have supported them over the years and not one time sailing suite guests....stop chasing the $$$$$ and look after the customers that support you R.C.

Ability to Expand size. Having low vision and my wife requires glasses to read, it would be awesome if the app allows you to expand the page to read it better. It is a feature on many apps and surprisingly Royal app does not. Also, having the ability to have events exclusively to you added to the My Planner. Such as Top Tier Lunch

Xmas on board. I would like to say how wonderful the staff were everywhere especially Romel and his partner Cadek in the dining room who served us efficiently and kept us entertained a most enjoyable experience also the staff in the windjammer were great . As a party of 14 thanks for a great cruise even though one stopover had to be canceled we had a lovely time and our cabin was kept immaculate.

Easy to check in. So much easier to check in than the last time. Even though the scan of passports said it had expired when it hadn’t! Saving Set Sail Pass to wallet means less paper to carry.

Use of Royal Caribbean App. I found the app a little cumbersome to use, but was able to slowly work my way through to complete the online check in. Online check in process didn’t require all that much information, and was able to input passport information manually which was good for me.

RCCL fantastic. I love RCCL and even though both my husband and I ended up getting CoVid Onboard we cannot say a bad word about them and their care and service, as we were given free in-house meals and water, medication and medical service throughout the cruise. They also gave us free internet which was a Godsend. They continually rang to see if we needed anything and to see how we were. Previous to us getting CoVid we enjoyed the great variety of meals both in the Windjammer and the Dining rooms. Lots of activities Onboard and the staff were especially nice and welcoming. I’d highly recommend Royal Caribbean to anyone contemplating a cruise.

No support for older iOS versions. The Royal App doesn’t work with older Apple devices. The App Store invites you to download the last Royal App version compatible with the device but when you run the App it tells you to update to the latest version. You then get stuck in an endless loop from which you can’t escape. So older iOS devices can’t run Royal App.

Mr Les Milton. Fantastic cruise on the Ovation of the Sea. Anyone who had a complaint is too hard to please. Abdul and his team in the Windjammer where exceptional and it was pleasing to see one of your 5 star employers Tarash Sharma receive a promotion. Well done to you all as the cruise was a delight to me my wife and my four friends who were with us.

Jenny Kittel. Words cannot express what Royal Caribbean, your staff & your magnificent ship have done by way of rest & recovery for the emergency services on your thank you first responders cruise. Absolutely 5+ stars on everything!!! Will definitely cruise with you again & highly recommend to anyone considering a cruise. These guys are the benchmark. Sincerest thanks, Jenny & Dennis Kittel - Adelaide SA

App that really works. This app is well worth downloading. All information is at your fingertips, all in one place, from trip planner, calendar to check in process. Easy to use with all information about your trip and your ship.

Annoying spam emails. Whilst we love Royal Caribbean and all the cruises we have done, would love to know how to switch off those annoying relentless ads to purchase internet, drinks, etc packages that are constantly being sent out. Our next cruise is in seven months … surely we don’t need these emails every few days. Please RC - stop it! I see an email and swipe delete without even reading. Stop pleeeeezzzeeee!

No ports, engine broken and no FCC!!!!. Picked Anthem Of The Seas for a cruise to South Pacific as it was supposedly a modern reliable boat and we really wanted to go to the blue holes in Port Vila. Well we weren’t able to stop at either Port Vila or Mystery Island due inclement weather (which would have been well foreseeable) and they didn’t plan ahead to stop at an alternate port such as Santos! On top of that two of the ships engines broke on way back to Sydney so we are limping back and very arriving late and have been offered no refund or even reduced gratuities or FCC. Won’t sail with Royal again, nothing Royal about them!

Love Royal. Royal is our favourite cruise line. Have tried a few others over the many years we have cruised and find the service and crew to be the best. Never had any problems as we have found with others

Guy. I have found this app very helpful informed me about most of my questions. I don’t know whether to take Australian money my country of origin. Or the currency of where I’m going, I would also like to see what entertainment in the theatre but I’m still looking through the app. I think it’s a great idea. Not being a sailor I’m looking forward to this holiday the app seems to inform you of most of my questions which I found very helpful bon voyage x

Mr Murray spencer. It was the best holiday I’ve ever had in my life. The Service was the best. The food was out of this world. I’ve never been so relaxing in my life. I like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for a trip of my lifetime so far to do another one with you very soon.

Quality and service exceptional. Great quality and service on Voyager of the seas for our first cruise. Thank you to Hermon and Rona our dining room team & Brushan in Housekeeping. We were well looked after well with plenty to do and time to wind down and we’re sorry to leave.

Age for Australia cruises. In Australia the legal age to book and drink is 18, I am currently 19 years old and I am unable to check in and purchase the alcohol beverage packed when deporting from Australia. I understand that this is an American cruise line and the legal age in America is 21 but it is a big inconvenience when deporting from Australia being under 21 but over 18 when I can’t access these things. I strongly believe that having an Aus and NZ app will help anyone over 18 but under 21 to be able to access these things so that when arriving to the boat it is a lot easier to be able to walk on with it being checked in and packages all paid for as the packages are in AUS dollars which makes it a lot cheaper then arriving on the boat

Consistency and friendly. After 10 cruises on RCC we always get excited prior to the trip. Never disappointed with cleanliness, variety of entertainment and friendliness of all staff. It’s a great holiday for us, a senior couple, who like to know what to expect and that is true for these cruises.

Don’t use the app. This is potentially the most buggy app I’ve ever used. Unfortunately it has created incredible stress and anxiety in the process. I booked a cruise online, was then advised to download the app. Come check-in day, I was able to do the check-in and was allocated my preferred check-in time. All good, or so I thought. Some time later I noticed some others writing about their problems with the app on a facebook cruise chat. Apparently weeks after doing their check-in via the app it was no longer showing this and was requesting they check-in. I immediately logged into the app but thankfully mine was still okay. Not for long though. A couple of weeks later mine did the same. I logged into the website and all of my check-in detail and setsail pass was still there. I contacted RC and advised them, a few days later my app was again showing my details correctly. I thought great, all good. Now, only 12 days out from the cruise, and again the app has lost my details and is again requesting that I check-in. I would not recommend using the app at all. Just do it all online via the website and print out your setsail pass. Too much stress and extra communications to deal with for absolutely no gain.

Formal nights. Good morning we have a cruise on the booked for the 12 th December from Brisbane South Pacific back to Brisbane on 21 st December 2022. Can you tell me as we are on board Quantum of the Seas is there any Formal nights wot night that they are on and any Theme nights that we should be made a we’re of , as we are a party of 7 we ge all searched and can not find any information . Thank you Mrs Cherylene and Tim Goddard.

28 Nov 2023. I’ve just come home from an amazing 8 day cruise to South Sea Islands and Vanuatu. I’ve been more than impressed by the quality of service received throughout this beautiful ship. These staff members have been trained to get to know their guests not just “do a good job”. This makes a person feel like they are really important to them and want to make the cruise a great experience.

Please go on this cruise. I just got off this wonderful experience and I realise that I lost a necklace that I won at one of the events, I was very upset that I lost it and unfortunately we didn’t find it so my nana and grandpa went to get a new one so they told the workers the situation and they felt bad and not only gave me a similar necklace but also gave me a matching ring ring. Thanks to the workers at thejewellery shop and I do recommend going on that Chrissy can see all the wonderful pieces of art that they have their. It is an amazing experience. I really do recommend it. This cruise has been amazing and the people who work there are so nice. Oh, my goodness gracious me

Best cruise line. My wife and self have cruised on a number of cruise lines. None of them came close to Royal Caribbean. We now sail only with Royal Caribbean as this Cruise line spares no expense to ensure their guests gets the best possible experience. The housekeeping, dining options, entertainment, the app, and everything else on board always exceeded our expectations. When it comes to cruising, our hearts will always be with Royal Caribbean.

Ship is old and needs work. In my humble opinion the ship should be retired or a complete renovation. It’s not up to the expectations I have of your company and other ships I have sailed under your company banner. Way too many people. Couldn’t get a seat at coffee and insufficient seating in open areas around the bar. Many people around me were complaining about the lack of seats. To add to the insult a lot of sickness on board apparently even from Barcelona. All in all not my best cruising experience but thank goodness the staff were exemplary.

Gemma and Raelene. We had a wonderful time. Staff were very helpful especially in dinning area nan and mark and our main guy in white shirt deck 4 table 434. sorry forgot he’s name he was the best always checking on us a remarkable man. Making sure our experience was the best. No wonder he has his stripes and we loved Ketut. The best house keeping keeper. Thank you all so much for a wonderful trip and ship adventure 😊

No very intuitive/user friendly. The check in process is difficult. Fields are not linked to your profile so you are entering information you should already have. Date fields are hard to navigate. Will be interesting to see how it operates on board as my family have just returned and said the app was useless to them on board.

Great Cruise!. We have done a few cruises, however this was our first cruise with Royal Caribbean International. Without doubt, the best cruise experience we have had. The ship felt spacious despite the number of passengers on board, it was clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the restaurants, the food, the entertainment, the variety of activities, the shows but without doubt, none of this would have been so good without the staff. From the moment we arrived nothing has been too much trouble. Every staff member has been happy, friendly and accommodating. We would especially like to have our thanks passed on to our attendant, Ronel and also our waiters in All Time Dining. Their time and attention was very much appreciated. They were great. We’ll definitely cruise with you again. Thank you - and ‘washy, washy. Happy, happy.’!!!

First time user. I am a software engineer, building websites and apps is my full time job. I really want to like the app, it *almost* feels intuitive but you get lost in it, the information is spread across multiple pages for some reason and it’s very difficult to find prices for things. Surprisingly you aren’t able to connect activities that are on offer on the boat itself, to the calendar provided. Potentially this will be a feature once the cruise starts but so far I’ve found the app quite difficult to use and frustrating.

Calendar. It would be better if you didn’t have to wait until you board to lock events /shows into your calendar. I would like to take my time to view all of the events and be able to lock them in and make sure I don’t miss or overlap anything. Pre loading your calendar would give you time to rearrange events.

Poor app experience. The app could have been good if it used persistent storage and employed hash validations to update the content when connecting. As it was devices wouldn’t remain connected to WiFi and it trashed the functionality. Items and menus wouldn’t load, clocks stopped (ship time), calendar items sometimes notified, others not, reconnecting didn’t resolve issues, it required sign out, close app, reopen app and sign in to fix. There’s only so many times you can do this on a 19 night cruise. The content was a bigger problem with erroneous content - wrong times, wrong locations! Wrong activities. There needs to be a master notification function. Our cruise returned to Hawaii for a critically injured passenger but the only way to notify the guests was by a Captain’s announcement which isn’t heard everywhere. Good potential, let down by infrastructure, content management and architectural design failures.

Covid changed a lot. This app is the best ch age since a covid. We cruise a lot and we never really did a lot of the activities when they came via the newsletter at night but now since we have the app we did loads of activities on our last cruise. It was so good to have everything on our phone with us all of the time. The only couple of down sides are that it would be twice a as good if you could call other guests from the app like what’s app or messenger and it didn’t drop off the wifi all the time. But a huge step forward.

Christmas Cruise. 100% recommend this cruise . What a wonderful time we had and the food has been exceptional in all the venues. Entertainment was great with some to please all different preferences. Definitely would do a Christmas cruise again .

20 out of 10!. Well done Royal Caribbean, Anthem of the Seas. Our first time cruise experience was phenomenal! All round service was exceptional. Friendly crew staff, highly professional. Food was great! Entertainment was top class. Really exceeded our expectations. In the words of Arnold: ‘We’ll be back!!!’👍💕

Mr Butterworth. Absolutely fantastic service. Could not fault it. The staff was so friendly. My wife and I had dinner with family every night at icon grill. 10 out of 10 for food and the service. Out standing to all the staff on the Ovation of the seas. Thank you for showing us the best sailing experience we have had. And special thank you to Ajay and Atika, from the restaurant. icon Grill, and James from IFLY.

Ovation of the sea. Please see comments below, The Ovation was a very good experience. All the staff at hand were very accompanying and couldn’t do enough for us. We found that a lot of children ran free and in controll, no one was there to pull them up. We went to the Music Hall on several occasions even after 10pm with my family to play games of pool who are all over 18 years old and we are confronted with children from 6 to 18. controlling the pool tables not once did the staff member pull up these kids or ask them to leave. This is supposed to be a licensed venue serving alcohol related night and this is what is going on not up to the standard that we would normally acknowledge to. You have got no control on your ship and then you sit there and sniggle with your white shirts on when someone make a complaint and try to make these people feel bad. We would’ve expected being Australian cruise Pavlova and slices of ham for prawns or even some lobster at Christmas dinner but we just got the basic run of the mill buffet like every other day not up to a standard that I would rejoin. Kind Regards Leonard Room 3602

Normal face on the ship. The app is great it has notifications when events you have booked has been canceled it is so easy to book or cancel bookings over all the app is easy to use and has many great features I’m an usual cruiser for the royal Caribbean and keep going in the future

Absolutely Amazing. Exceptional service, friendly and helpful staff, the entertainment was first class, the food was so yummy. The Icon of the Seas ship is mind blowing I could not fault anything about my 7 night cruise and I would highly recommend the Royal Caribbean Icon of the Seas to anyone

A Truly Wonderful Cruise Experience. We had a wonderful experience with Royal Caribbean. The service was excellent, with friendly and professional staff who made us feel very welcome. The cleanliness of the ship was above and beyond expectations..everything was spotless and very well maintained. The entertainment was also great, with plenty of enjoyable shows and activities throughout the trip. Overall, it was a fantastic cruise and we would definitely cruise with Royal Caribbean again.

Worried. Just tried to check in to do our vaccination we sail on the but it won’t open on check in just goes round and round the rest is working I can see other things but not my check in so how am I to finish my check in status We sail on ovations update it’s now working hope it stays that way. All done ready to sail now thank you for fixing the app

Nickel & dime. Just got back from an actual all-inclusive resort in Jamaica. These cruise people do EVERYTHING in their power to nickel & dime EVERY single person on board. Honestly surprised they don’t charge extra for wanting something better than newspaper to wipe in the restrooms! The “premium “ charges for drinks, dining, specialty restaurants, internet, etc. we’re all included at the all-inclusive resort. This will likely be my last cruise, at least in this nickel & dime cruise line!

Check in on app won’t work. Check in on all won’t work

Works okay most of the time Quite often cuts off and have to reconnect- several times a day. Thanks

First cruise. Great experience on the ship and with the app. Recommend getting the ships wifi when it goes on sale! Wifi works exceptionally well for being in the middle of the sea!

App works just okay. You don’t use it for much other than seeing upcoming activities and texting your group, sadly though my entire family didn’t get notifications for messages the entire trip, we flicked notifications on and off, turned our phones on and off, all of the fixes you’d think would work but nothing changed. We got notifications for upcoming excursions which was handy but nothing besides that

A great App. Definitely a great App to have is cruising Royal ! A must ! Very easy to use and very informative!

Check in. Can’t take a pic it just keeps spinning

Worst app ever!!!. You have to use this app for everything, they give you free wifi that only works for the app, but the app crashes every 2 minutes! Also when you go to book excursions the app will always tell you there is 2 or more spots (there never is) and you waste 20 minutes trying to book an excursions. This app also has an messaging system, but half the time the message won’t show up on other people’s app, or the whole app will crash as soon as you try to view a message.

Wonder of seas. It was a great vacation. One comment on Table Tennis. We recommended you a system to give every one qual opportunity. Example 3 games and switch

Great Cruise. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The stuff is out of this world!!! Simply the best!!! Inaus a great time!!! Will be doing this again!

Traduction. Pourvoir traduire en français !

Could be better. Doesn’t seem to work that well on my iPad or my iPhone 13 Pro. Maybe the update will help? Also can’t do as much on it as on the competing cruise line apps. Pre-cruise anyway. I think you should be able to do more on it to prepare for your cruise.

Messaging app. The free messaging app to connect with family and friends is delayed. It always kicks you out. I guess it was designed to be that way so that you will purchase the internet package while on cruise.

Cruise review. This is our 3rd cruise with Royal Caribbean. The food is great lots of variety and different restaurants to choose from. We had an inside balcony overlooking the boardwalk. The noise from outside was a problem when we wanted to sleep. The inside entertainment was extremely loud. I definitely will travel with Royal Caribbean again the staff is very accommodating. My concerns are of a minor nature but worth mentioning. Richard McKinney

Customer. I went through Msc & Royal cruise line in the premium cabin, but I liked Msc's VIP treatment better. I felt like I was given priority.

Frustrated. App keeps telling me that there is a glitch, that my folio cannot be retrieved. I called Royal Caribbean and after multiple times telling the operator my reservation number, he finally found my reservation. He suggested deleting the app and restarting the process. I did that. The same message still shows after restarting! Frustrating!

Terrible messaging. Ok to check in and get some information. Difficult to find some other information on app. Poorly laid out. Must be connected to internet to get information. Messaging app doesn’t work very well. Needs push notifications and badges to alert new massages. App seems to be buggy and in beta. But it’s required. Needs work.

Excellent Cruiseline. Very good experiences with this cruise line compared to other cruise lines.

Age related activities. Need some filter for age related activities. Also need a general search to be able to search anything, from activities to location, to show names etc

Easy Easy. Very effective check in on the app! Looking forward to day of departure

Slow, unresponsive and STILL poorly designed. The app is such a disappointment, still. I’m writing this review while currently on Grandeur of the Seas, and yes it’s understandable that the wifi infrastructure might have issues on an older ship, how the app handles connection issues and slow data is really really frustrating. Chat is possibly the most important function, and it fails to load, and has a confusing UI. Please get some a smart designer to rethink it. The schedule is the next most important thing, the drawer is slow to respond when tapped, doesn’t have search, and is frequently missing the latest information and has them making announcements over the ship intercom telling everyone to force reload the app to get up to date information? Awful. Although it seems “pretty” when you first look at it, the UX and speed of the app is a disaster. Function and speed need work. I want to apply to work at RCI to help the app team fix this thing it’s so frustrating.

Amélioration à faire. L’application est lente

Frustrated. I have an old iPad that IOS is 12..... and it won’t download beyond. Now RCL app won’t download even when I say older version is okay. IT WON’T WORK! 😡☹️😬

not a good app at all. Do not recommend this app, the chat on the app works incredibly slow, the app glitches frequently and most of the calendar does not show daily activities. very disappointed.

Langage. Du Québec on n’a pas l’application en français😢😢😢

Great job. The personnel are friendly, efficient and accomadating. Antoneta and Igusti have been a joy to see each evening. The entertainment staff is always quick a smile and take time to talk. Kudos to the 3rd floor dining room. We’ve seen how some passengers have been not easy to deal with and their professionalism was just amazing. First time cruisers, but not the last. Oops, forgot to mention the room staff. Once again a big thumbs up Thanks

Worst App. worst cruise app ever!!

App. I am not able to add the Canadian address information

The cruise app. App is full of information, but perhaps too much as it can be difficult trying to find what you’re looking for. The main issue everyone using the app seems to agree on is how often it doesn’t work. It stalls, is unresponsive, or just doesn’t want to work. The cruise personnel, and their tv channel are always reminding you to close and reopen the app.

Good but could use some improvements. It’d be nice to have actual dates on the itinerary and calendar (I don’t know when Day 1 starts), our excursions aren’t shown in the app (at least I couldn’t find them), and there’s multiple ways to get to the same screens so that’s confusing.

One of the worst experience ever. This godamn app really make me wanna say some F words. The food quality is just a little bit higher than the food in my university. The most of the activities are boring, what I wanna say is that do not waste your time in this boat.

Seems good at first. Seems like a good app at first, lots of good information. However the navigation doesn’t make sense sometimes. Sometimes functionality doesn’t work. The Wi-Fi on the ship is virtually nonexistent and very spotty at times. RC does whatever it can to try and make your digital experience no fun. They force you to use their crappy stuff and make it so you can’t use your phone unless you disconnect from them. You constantly lose Wi-Fi and then the app doesn’t work. Wi-Fi service should be better in the year 2023. Royal Caribbean says boom and stream. Good luck with the streaming from your room.

Avis. Il serait intéressant de pouvoir lire le tout dans différentes langues

Good concept, execution mediocre. App is very slow, and my entire family has IPhone 15s App needs to be restarted to see all activities Messaging system is buggy

Mr. Tap To. First time with Royal Caribbean, also Wonder of the sea. Our group of 16 are very excited, looking forward to the December-3rd/2023 embarkation date. See you.

Emergency button while in ship. I passenger got locked in their balcony because of the door latch closed on them. They were luck calling help and one of their neighboring room able to hear their calls. We discussed why not the Royal Caribbean app doesn’t have an SOS immediate help button while in the boat?? Additionally, make sure to changing/upgrading balcony door latches are not locking while someone sitting at the balcony.. Ayhan Akkaya # 8594 Radiance of the Seas

My first review. Can’t get back to the Home Screen

Food. Not as good as expected. Staff excellent. Bed really hard.

Amazing cruise. It was our first cruising trip. The experience given by everyone on from Royal Caribbean cruise is amazing. It is beyond comparison. We don’t mind recommending this cruise to anyone with out slightest of doubt. Not having words to explain but overall it was Royal experience. Thanks to everyone on the board.

Glitchy. Slow. Internet Management is poor.. Glitchy. Slow. Internet Management is poor.

Grandeur of Seas Sign-in. Absolutely useless. Can only sign in on app. App doesn’t work. Advice from RC agent go to dock and don’t worry. So why send me an email inviting me to do the early check in.

Avis.

Saftey briefing not working. Can not do saftey breifing

Dinner. Meals have gone down in quality. Half the time the are meals cold. Really ruined the dining experience. Also we kept asking for cream for our coffee. We kept getting served milk. It was disappointing.

3 days to sailing and no menus & lost my reservation. I sail on February 27, and my data has been lost. Can’t see menus to book extra dining. This whole cruise experience has been nothing but painful. Has cost me alot of time and money. All I’ve gotten is sorry. Sad no help. Last CS was to call back and I’m now waiting….. an hour is currently 1.5 and counting. I’m on hold trying to find out what’s happening. App has been nothing like previously, very disappointed.

Activities available online but not in app. This app is so frustrating. Was looking for a restaurant reservation for Jaime’s Italian but nothing was available in the app (other restaurants were available). After a few weeks I realized that they were available on the website but not in the app. Same applies to spa reservations. Overall this app is slow and evidently very buggy. Can’t trust what it’s showing me.

Mr. I am a faithful customer and I appreciate a lot of ways Royal does business with their customers. I also understand times were tough during covid for all cruise companies. This year I have noticed some changes in the food. Quantities and choices have gone down a bit. No more seconds on all items, no cheese plates, very hard to get toasts in the same time with eggs with breakfast in all venues… I really hope this is temporary. JP

Not too friendly. The app needs to be more intuitive and easier to work with.

App not working. I tried putting my husband in the app 4 times and it won’t do it properly I called the help line 3 times and did not get through to anyone who could help

Royal Caribbean App. The app was great to have access to while cruising. I loved the fact that one did not have to have internet access in order to use the app on the ship. The app had all the information one needed in terms of activities for the day and those that you have signed up to attend. In terms of how the the app can be improved, I would recommend that the app provide the user with reminders about events and activities they have reserved as well as notifications when reservations have been moved due to rescheduling by the staff. I would also have liked for the app to provide basic information about the ports of call and even geographical informational.

Good choices. We love Royal Caribbean. The ships are clean and the website is great. Boarding and disembarking always goes smoothly. The food still could use improvement. I think if they are doing different cuisines, you could do better. Italian night, garlic bread and regular lasagna, spaghetti, and Alfredo sauces. For people that can’t tolerate red sauces. Mexican night have chips and salsa on the tables. Offer chicken or beef tacos, as well as vegan choices. If you are doing it, do it all the way. The staff is wonderful and the ships are always clean and we enjoy your cruise line.

Royal Caribbean cruise. This was the best cruise ship vacation I’ve ever been on .This was also my family’s first time. We enjoyed everything more than expected. What I like the most is the friendly kind staffing, they went beyond my expectations to make sure that everything was well and they did everything with a smile on their face. The food were delicious and plentiful. The ship itself was amazing. My family enjoyed it so much. That they want me to plan another one again for next year. I’m so happy that I had such a great experience with Oasis cruise. Thank you to all the staffing and hosts.

Get your refund for wifi on the ship. We were on anthem of the seas and we paid for the upgraded Wi-Fi. We noticed that the Wi-Fi kept disconnecting many places throughout the ship. We never gave it two thoughts but when I got home I got billed extra charges from my phone carrier. I had airplane mode on, but my guess is we kept hitting airplane mode on and off while we kept turning our Wi-Fi back on and off. many people complained about the connectivity of the Wi-Fi on the ship, and since Royal Caribbean refused to refund me my Wi-Fi money I am warning all of you that as soon as you start having problems with your Wi-Fi to get a refund while you are on the ship. At this time I do not plan on cruising with Royal again. Their customer service once I was off the ship was horrendous.

Can’t wait for our up coming cruise. I love this app, great way to see an explorer the ship in advance but there are a few little things I would love to see or be able to do to help make more user friendly prior to boarding. I would love love to see a count down like on the website. Also I would love a tab or a way to star things we might want to do or create a wishlist of things we could do each day on the ship. I enjoy planning so I don’t miss things, I love to plan out our days in advance with possible places to eat and things to do on the ship as well as off the ship.

Menus not updated. Maybe I’m asking too much, but the menus are obviously not current as there is a dinner menu for night six of my five night cruise that leaves in 10 days. I’d like a comprehensive drink menu (with which bar I can get them at), a full listing of bars (Viking Crown Lounge not listed - and it’s my favorite) and one with hours that correlate to my cruise, not the cruise the ship is on now. Please a list of actual show titles. Surely you know what will be on the main stage. Adding activities now would be great so we can spend our ship time DOING activities instead of adding them to our calendar. Happy the app is an option on our ship, but it could be better. Still, so looking forward to two full sea days - and visiting Bermuda.

Good start but needs improvement. RCCL needs to look at the Disney App to see how it works Number 1 feature that Disney has is a Group chat that allows users to send messages without having to buy WiFi package. We were onboard with a large family group and this worked like s charm when same group was together on Disney for checking on who was where. Number 2 feature that Disney has is the ability to “like” an event in the Daily Planner and then add it to you personal calendar. It would be helpful to have a Personal Calendar button that would pull in all your pre-made reservations and events you have liked Number 3 feature would be ability to see Adventure Ocean activities to a particular age group A good start but has the possibility for a much better app if you look at how Disney does it

Nice!. Just got off Allure and loved being about to see Dinner menus & times for the entire week at all the different venues. Also loved seeing the activity schedule, deck plans, account bill, etc. We also used the chat feature after tech support finally got it working for us on the 2nd day. A few suggestions: a notification that you have received a message. We often didn’t know to open the app and look. When scrolling through the dining, fitness, activities, etc., it would be nice to have an indicator ($) on which ones have a charge without having to open each one and read all the way to the bottom.

Fun for everyone. My husband and I enjoy, cruising with Royal. Every ship is so different, but they have something for anyone to enjoy themselves. is it that you enjoy relaxing ,dancing , game day, pool , beach , exploring inside, and outside the ship or just sitting on your balcony taking in the beautiful views ? whatever it is, you are going to find it with Royal Caribbean cruising,I have taken my grandkids ages 10-13 years old they enjoyed also some ladies from church they love it and family members which are asking when are they going again . it is a pleasure cruising with Royal Caribbean. I love it.

Needs improvements. Application is a great concept. However, it needs improvement. 1) it’s constantly getting “stuck” when on the ship and you will need to close and reopen. 2) There’s is NO sound or any type of notification when you receive a chat message while on the ship. We are constantly looking and refreshing our phone to see if our children have communicated with us. 3) a call feature from shipmate to shipmate will be a great idea 4) what is going on now feature - including what food choices, shops, future cruise planner, excursions, weather, ship info (location, speed, etc), entertainment, etc (currently only activity & entrainment is showing on daily calendar)

OK but Features needed. The app lets you exchange text messages and communicate with other passengers while onboard using your ship’s WI-FI (free for the app only). This is very useful. But notifications consist only of a single beep which is easy to miss on a noisy and busy ship. So you have to keep checking to see if you have new messages/responses. Some suggestions: (1) Provide more notification options (e.g. more audible alerts, vibration, Apple Watch support, etc). (2) Add alerts to remind you of upcoming shows and activities you have on your calendar. (3) Add ability to forward interesting activities, excursions or your personal calendar events to other passengers. (4) Add ability to make app-to-room calls.

Good for Reservations and Collecting Fees. Great app for planning the cruise. The onboard chat feature is broken when connected to ships Wifi. Very inconvenient when traveling with family or friends when you want to coordinate meeting up with them. The app frequently showed that I was offline. The app was unable to add my wife multiple searches could not find her or add her to chat. I even deleted and reinstalled the app, rebooted the phone and Verified wifi connection none of these actions fixed the chat issue. It is frustrating that you cannot send texts or call friends and relatives while you are out to sea unless you pay expensive fees for slow internet service.

App difficult to follow for seniors. The app has tons of features, which makes it confusing for seniors to follow. There should an an opt-out option during check-in, which would allow those with issues to cruise the old fashion way. Eventually everyone will have no problem using the app, but those non-technical older users should not have to spend more time navigating the app, then enjoying their cruise. Also, we all paid $14 (group of 9) for the chat feature to communicate whilst onboard and even though we have enabled all notifications in settings for the Royal app, you still must have the app open, and in chat mode otherwise all of your group show’s offline. Needs more work and should not be charged at all for a meh feature.

Howard “Billy” & Janet “Jan” Hingle. Can’t wait to get on board - April 28, 2019! We booked the cruise on Harmony of the Seas two years ago and finally the time has arrived! Royal Caribbean has always been our cruise line of choice and we recommend it to all our friends. This will be our first time cruising on such a large ship and we understand the necessity for reserving entertainment, dining etc. but not exactly in agreement with the process because it becomes difficult for groups booking individually to sometimes get the same time slots. All in all we are very pleased with the RC app and find it really beneficial. The Hingle’s

In Love. This will be 9 cruises with Royal, and I love this company. From Voyager to Allure, the cleanliness, food quality and service is better than the rest. I was on a Norwegian cruise in Alaska and a lot of people I talked with had electronics taken from their room. Another Norwegian cruise to Italy, my friends passport was taken while she lay asleep in her bed when room service brought her towels. We spent the following day at the embassy in Florence getting her a new one, Norwegian took no responsibility and did nothing to help. Royal Caribbean is not only clean and quality, they are trustworthy and secure.

Useful only deck map. The app is really only useful for deck map and daily calendar since the daily paper itinerary is no longer printed and distributed in all staterooms. If you’re not a high tier loyalty member, forget about making reservations unless you BUY a dining package. Forget about booking a show, or if you do, it may or may not show up on your calendar. And then it may disappear. The app overall is very buggy. Thankful I had a Wi-Fi package to communicate with my wife and friends because I wouldn’t have wanted to rely on messages in the app. The messages needs an option for groups within the party to be able to message one another as a group, not just solo…if this is available, I missed it. And an option to message restaurants, excursions, entertainment, etc instead of standing in long lines. A person returning chats/ calls could likely resolve issues more speedily w/o congestion in the promenade created by lines at those counters. It would be great for the app to include photos shot onboard/ ashore for purchase. They could still be watermarked to prevent distribution/ printing. My biggest pet peeve is that RCCL wants the cruiser to use the app primarily only to find the app is not user friendly. Have the developers cruised and used it??

Just doesn’t work.. First time traveling with Royal and the whole thing has been nothing but frustrating. The app doesn’t do anything its supposed to do. It shows reservation details but crashes on every single other page. I spent almost a month trying to get into contact with someone who could help and everyone I spoke to was rude and didn’t care at all. There is no information on how to check in when the app doesn’t work, thankfully I’m traveling with others who knew how to do it on the website. Every part of the process thus far has been as difficult as possible to try and plan ahead. I hope the cruise is worth all this annoyance but from the service on the phone and via email I highly doubt it. You want a cruise line app? Stick to Disney. The app actually works and if it doesn’t They at least seem to know how to apologize instead of saying “oh well, try again tomorrow.”

My Calendar and Reservations features aren’t particularly useful. The app lists all of the activities each day. This is great. The problem is you can’t add the activities to My Calendar to create a personal itinerary for each day (except for the few things you can reserve). This should be a simple operation of marking an item as ‘interested’, ‘’going’ or ‘reserved’. The Reservations feature needs to be refined to show available reservation times without having to give up an existing reservation first (i.e., you should be able to exchange a reservation spot, not cancel just to find out there are no alternatives available). Lastly, the layout of the app needs improvement. The kiosks onboard the ship were organized better and easier to use.

This is ridiculous. I don’t feel that at the prices we pay we now have to R Cs work for them too. I dont like the idea that we now have to use our telephone while on the cruise when the system was fine before. We are Diamond plus and after the next 2 cruise we will look to other lines to travel on. This line is turning into a garbage line. All we hear are things we can’t do and we’re more like cattle every day with this line. Prices are way out of line the Excursions are self serving and we can easily afford these prices but the Excursions are just not worth it. We will do our own off ship Travels when we want to go and I would bet even save money in the process. If passengers wound demand better treatment we wound all be a lot better off.

Royal Caribbean Tops All Others. My Wife (Juanita) and Myself (Larry), has been on six different cruises (twice with RC), and this has been the outstanding and awesome cruise we have ever attended. This was our 34th year anniversary cruise and we are seniors (70 & 69), and the service, food, excursions, staff, cleanliness was just impeccable! We upgraded to the grand suite and our stateroom was huge! Very high kudos to our stateroom attendant Mr. Gede Y he was kept our room so so clean and the surprise towel decorations were awesome! High kudos to all the guest services attendants who assisted us 3 time’s especially Mr. Anis Khaled. At My Time Dining, table 230 & 203 waiters Daniel & Sultra excellent, and at the Izumi Hibachi (Mr. Serlanyti) outstanding!! All the live shows and live bands were awesome just like being in Las Vegas!!

Avoid giving info until you’re ready to be hit with nonstop calls. I downloaded the app as we are like y’all and planning a trip. Since I’ve had it less than 24 hours I have received 3 phone calls about the trips I’ve looked up. THREE PHONE CALLS! For just looking at dates and rates. I had no idea they’d be so pushy for sales. I’ve been on a RC cruise before and enjoyed it. I had no idea things had changed so much post covid that they’ve taken to repeatedly calling. Now I regret filling out the information as primary cruiser. Even if I delete app I’m afraid the calls will continue. Save yourself the aggravation and don’t give them your info until your ready to buy. Now to go look at Carnival. Heard it’s a wilder cruise but maybe I won’t be accosted before I even buy.

Shore Excursions. Trying to book shore excursions for my January 2023 cruise and both the app and website keep crashing due to Black Friday sales traffic. Their systems obviously can’t handle the demand and customer service is a 2 hour wait which is inexcusable for a multi-billion dollar company. The website has been unavailable all day (and still is as I type this) but I was finally able to book some excursions through the app. I am Diamond Plus and have done 18 cruises with Royal Caribbean and this is the worst experience I’ve ever had.

Amazing service staff. Wanted to thank each and every staff that served us during our stay in the cruise. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Dint have a single bad experience with the staff was truly the best of the staffs on board. Would like to specially thank our room service staff Mark and Thushar from dining service who were just wonderful. I don’t remember the other names but would like to thank all of them personally. The Chefs did a wonderful job catering to everyone’s choice and the food was amazing. The photo was expensive so would recommend taking your own pictures.

Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Sea. This was my very first cruise. We stayed in The concerto Suite. Amazing! When we arrived at our room we received a call from Jayson our concierge. He took care of us the entire trip. Making sure we got to see a tour of the Royal suite which is the largest one on the ship, as well as the presidential suite on our way out. The only thing I would say is we didn’t know where to go to pick up our luggage. There wasn’t enough instruction on that. G our housekeeper was so nice and made one of our towels shaped like a monkey hanging from a hanger in our room. The food was incredible! Service galore!! We will be back for sure!!

It all about the Cruise Director, Jimmy Rhodes. My husband and I have cruise a couple of times and we love it! This cruise had flavor! What I mean by that is it was tasteful and full of fun! Our Cruise Director has an amazing staff with lots of energy and humor! The music around the ship was “soulful” and made me feel energized! I will definitely cruise anywhere Jimmy Rhodes is Directing! Also, Ernesto, waiter and Yudha, assistant waiter were attentive and kept us laughing! The staff in the Champagne Bar set the bar high for the rest of the staff! Thanks Pablo, Cooke, Swaby, Dom, and Olan for allowing us behind the bar at the Martini tasting! We had a ball and will do that on the next cruise too! Karla & Darren

World Wide Printing Chairman of the Board. The web site does not have a simple list to find things I want. After looking for 30 minutes, I never found out how to get the internet package. Unfortunately many web planners are very poor in making web sites easy. This one is not simple and easy. Most web designers want to make it look pretty but not easy to work with. One company I work with had a designer put their books for sale on the internet. Only a few people who tried to check out were successful. They hired another company and successful check out went from about 15% to about 80%. On this web site, people will not give up since that have not choice. To give you the last thing about the web site is this. I am on my IPAD typing and I am looking on it at a 90% view so if I made a mistake writing, it is because I can not proof sideways. A good designer could redesign this in a hour.

Do better. We greatly enjoyed our cruise on royal Caribbean, and I would definitely cruise with them again. The app leaves a lot to be desired. Royal Caribbean is a lucrative company, and they need to invest more in technology. For example, just finishing my first cruise, I should have 7 points and be a gold member, but instead it’s showing zero a full week and a half later. I also can’t stand that every time I look into a cruise, once i get to a certain screen, you have to start your search completely over. How about a little cookie now and then to keep things easier on users? how about a ship tracker so we can see where in the world we are, while cruising. Even the oldest airplanes have that now. Clunky and not intuitive, with subpar user interface. Hire some top software engineers and fix this, please!

Horrible!. For a company this size that requires you to use the app, this app is horrible. First of all I can go in and edit anybody’s information that I’m traveling with. There’s no privacy. That’s ridiculous in itself. Anytime I open something it defaults to someone else’s information. When I tried to take my security photo it said “oops sorry we hit a snag try again later.” I tried the next day and got the same error message. I can’t imagine what a nightmare it’s going to be to have to use this to get onto the boat. I cannot find where to print my luggage tags, guess I will have to get on a regular computer for that. Where do you find the instructions you’re supposed to follow the instructions for the muster station? Maybe that shows up later. Here’s hoping.

Disappointed. As a Diamond member I have anxiously waited an RCL app. I could not have been more let down. Using the app made check in take longer, not shorter. The app crashed while I was checking in and I could not use and had to checked in manually. It’s difficult to toggle back and forth between reservations since we had 2 cabins for our family, all set sail passes should be in same screen. The “compass” on the app is not user friendly. The 1 activity that I booked while onboard with the app, when we showed up we were told we were not registered. Hope you can work out the kinks as there is a great potential.

Nothing went right. I had 5 reservations including ours for our 50 th anniversary. We took whole family 1. I had to call back 4 times before cruise as they would cancel our beversge packages. Internet etc 2. Every time we called and went over every reservation they said it was all taken care of. It was not 3. Spent 3 hours first 2 days at customer service. Each time said everything was fixed. It never was 4. Internrt worked st bedt 30 percent of time. 3 people never got on 5, when i booked owners suite. Your representative said we hot free internet and 4 drink tickets each day placed in the room. We did not 6. The daily billing was sent to my 19 yesr old grandsughters email not mine. No idea what charges are being applied 7, my children and grandchildren ask if this type of constant issues is normal. I said in 30 + cruises i dont ever remember going to front desk services. We spent hours their. Not too helpful. One was redt were not 8 cards for arcade did not work at first 9. Real kicker. My 99 year old mother fell and was placed in hospital and i didnt know for 2 days due to the poor/lack of internet. 9. Theres more but i just quit

Many features do not work. It is February 19, 2020 and I have been calling RC since December 2019 about the apps missing, advertised functions. I cannot check in, see any information about my cruise, see excursions or anything. The only thing I can see I’d my sailing date and the guest. Each time I call I’m told to uninstall and reinstall... done it about 12 times now with no success. I’m less than 40 days away and I can’t check in. I can use the desktop but my security photos are on my phone not my desktop. What’s the point in an app, and tech support if they do not or cannot help.

App Feature suggestions. Written from a passenger on the symphony of the seas ship Would be great to be able to select speciality dining reservations before the cruise, especially if picked the dining package - makes it easier to coordinate show times and dining Should be able to chat with the royal app, with other guests on board, especially those in your party - part of the reason we picked a cruise was to get off the grid - but we wanted to still be able to communicate with those on ship, especially those in our room - to meet up, especially on such a large ship — I’d be willing to pay a few bucks a day for this feature, without having to get the WiFi package Reservations - such as those in the spa should show up on “my calendar”

Returning customer. My father used to work for Royal Caribbean building down here and we would go on cruises every summer. Since 2008 and the heavy layoffs my dad was part of, we haven’t really been able to go back.. until now. With my son. And wife. So excited to be able to take them on their first 7 day retreat to a fantasy land they have never experienced. So excited to go and can’t wait.. bringing my mother-in law and her sister, should we upgrade to 2 bedroom suite!? Their first time too! Love looking at the app and how easy it is to use. Thank you for making this experience so pleasurable thus far.. can’t wait for more.

trip on june 24th departing miami on harmony ship. So far i love this app. I did book one excursion that my daughter and i wanted to do more than ever and think we were in tortola last time. i had trouble booking them without them getting erased when i switched cards from the main card i out the trip on. This was kind of a let down and i lost two spots on pig beach and the dive with tanks on top. i have signed up for others on the huge selection they have. we are thrilled otherwise and counting down the days. I have been to 12 countries but this is my first cruise with daughter (10yrs) and 45 mom years old. 🤣

Disappointed. First time on a cruise and everything is so confusing. Dinner reservations, my time dining, book or not to book, but there are no times available to book before 8:30, will all the fun things on the boat cost extra. It’s not very clear and I have now just found out The Book is booked. All the times to do entertainment are booked, not to mention actually cost extra! It’s hard to figure out, App doesn’t help provide clarity and I’m not even on the boat and hoping this fist time cruise with our young adult kids is not disappointing due to the fact that we will need to wait in lines to eat, or not get to a show or enjoy the on ship entertainment. I’m regretting spending money in this. Again the app doesn’t help if by the time you see something it’s booked and it doesn’t provide answers to what is very confusing for first time cruisers.

Not all that it can be. I had to have a staff member link a reservation with a family members. Instead of showing me he messed around and said "done" I can't find my reservations for the day and need to click on each thing to see what I signed up for. I personally have it written but was hoping this would help my kids so they can find their way It amazes me that we cannot communicate via this like they can on Anthem of the Seas Royal IQ app. I bring sticky notes and a pen to communicate with my family I didn't think I'd need this, or-if we all purchased wifi we could communicate for about $400 for the week! A company like RC should be able to get an app to do what the customers want/need. Get with it!

We All Can Be Royal. All I can say is Royal lives up to its name!!! Seriously if you are wondering whether to try this Cruise Line or Not - You Must Give It A Try !!! You will not be disappointed, I have cruised a lot of lines and I have been cruising since my early 20’s and this is definitely our favorite line - we have cruises with Royal 8 times so far and have never been disappointed- even if they cost a little more .... Trust me .... You get what you pay for .... I tried to save $100 per person once and skipped a Royal Cruise and was soooooo disappointed !! We’ve traveled the Caribbean to Alaska so far and plan on traveling at least twice per year for the rest of our lives !! We Love Royal !!

Need more info. It is convenient to have an app provided, but RC really needs to step it up on the information provided. Sorry to compare, but when you go to Carnivals app or website to view excursions to hope to book, it’s easier to make a confident choice/decision about the excursions because there is ample information, but more importantly, they provide true to life pictures and imagery of the actual events or activities within that excursion. It’s bad enough that RC’s excursions are terribly overpriced to say the least, but at least being able to see/visualize what each excursion has to offer, helps reduce the feeling that you are getting overcharged because you will have more confidence in knowing that you are making the right choice in your booking.

Pastor Mary Neal. The cruise was undescribable excellent food excellent waiters, Our room were always clean and he went overboard to make sure we were comfortable. Everyone were so friendly and kind especially the waiters at every meal, Next time I would like to bring my whole family because this ship has something for everyone!!!!!!!!! My recommendation Is that you have more entertainment four Believers/Christians example gospel music, movies, stand up comedians and sharing the world, You have many believers taking cruises around the world and Are looking for things that they like to participate in.

A must-have app for you upcoming cruise. I've had a fantastic experience using the Royal Caribbean app during my recent cruise. This app has been incredibly helpful in making my vacation a smooth and enjoyable one. The app's user-friendly interface made it easy for me to plan my activities, make purchases, and book excursions. I appreciated how it provided me with up-to-date information about the ship's schedule, dining options, and entertainment choices. It also allowed me to explore the various shore excursions available at each port, making it convenient to choose and book the ones that interested me the most. What impressed me the most was the app's seamless integration with my onboard account. I could track my purchases, review my dining reservations, and keep tabs on my onboard spending, which helped me stay on budget. Overall, the Royal Caribbean app plays a significant role in enhancing my cruise experience. It's a valuable tool for anyone looking to plan and manage their cruise activities and purchases efficiently. I highly recommend it to fellow travelers for a stress-free and enjoyable cruise vacation.

Bad App Experience. After successfully setting up my account, logging in and then clicking on my cruise, I received a pop-up saying “We found your reservation. Please check back for cruise detail closer to departure.” But we were already sailing so that message didn’t even make sense. We had already purchased the WiFi package so I knew that wasn’t the problem. I then looked at their onboard daily itinerary called the Compass and saw that there is App Support from 5-8pm on deck 5. Went to deck 5 at 5:30 but nobody was there. Asked Guest Services and they didn’t know what I was talking about. Showed them the Compass and they talked to each other and said she’d be here in ten minutes. Ten minutes came and went so we asked again and was then told the app isn’t working on this cruise. Not a great experience by any means.

Love Royal, but…. Love Royal but this summer our group of 20 + had an experience that left a bad taste in our mouth. Basically a member of our group is a legal permanent resident (green card holder) and she was told all needed to travel was her green card and license according to the web site ( we pulled it up at check in). WRONG. She was denied boarding because she didn’t have a passport. Even the fact that she cruised with Royal in October 2019. Left her on the pier. Two years of planning our trip and we could still be denied boarding for following the Royal Caribbean website. And what did we get for our trouble. NOTHING. NOT A THING. I have been cruising with RC since 1986, this was the worst.

Not bad but room for improvement. Pros: The overall UI is solid and reasonably easy to navigate. It’s easy to setup an ID, and once that is done, to book reserved events and add them to you calendar. The app does a good job of highlighting the important events during your cruise. Cons: very often, I wanted to find a specific location or restaurant, but there is no proper search function. This is very annoying, and forces you to search through categories of venues and scroll through every time. Also, the guest profile should be the one stop shop for all your info, but several items, like how to find your expense account number, were not clear. The addition of a simple FAQ would probably help here.

Chapel. The ship, and the cruise itself has been absolutely magnificent for the both of us, with the exception of a chapel for those who just wanna spend time in prayer or just quiet time with God/Jesus A Gideon Bible would also make the trip special for personal reading advancement or simply learning more about God and his desire for our life after all this ship offers 15 bars a casino a smoking area and late night disco and but no chapel thank you for this opportunity let’s remember that Jesus is the reason for all seasons for the wisdom, gifts, talents and abilities let’s keep him the center of it all Gods salvation, grace, mercy and favor be yours in Jesus name🙏🙏

Whales!!!!. The best cruise line in the world. All ships are magnificent but we are on the Harmony right now and are having a blast!!!! Beautifully displayed food, food that is just as wonderful in taste as it is in looks. We are on ninth floor, balcony, and all is smooth sailing. Missed the whales frolicking on starboard side this morning here in the Caribbean, but the Captain told us about them. That was his April fool’s joke but we were all craning our necks looking for those frolicking whales and laughed and laughed at ourselves for being so gullible. Hey, we always believe the captain. Happy sailing, everyone. I know you are as happy as we are!!!

App needs upgrade. The app has no ability to add activities that are not prepaid to Royal Caribbean. Example, if I have a fitness reservation for spin class, or a dinner reservation with a travel group I am a member of. You can’t add these, so the calendar doesn’t contain all your scheduled activities. Why is this oversight not a feature of the app? Why does my travel companion have a different credit balance than me when both are booked together on one credit card? Update: 5th day on my current cruise and the app when turned on shows a future booked cruise and it’s calendar which is blank. The account is also blank. It does show the sea pass for the current cruise. There is no way to change cruise in the app so it is all messed up. Most information for current cruise is gone.

Positively dreadful. Let’s cut right to the chase. This app worked “okay” until they opened the app to all cruisers on the ship WITHOUT upgrading their wifi networks. Now it’s restart, restart, restart. Deleted and reloaded the app entirely at least daily. Complained multiple times to Royal crew and staff and was told there was nothing that could be done. Ended up having the paper schedules delivered to my room daily. Also missed two headliner shows because by the time I stood in line for help with reservations since the app wasn’t working, the show was booked. Gonna have to do WAY BETTER, Royal Caribbean.

Perfect App with Latest Bug Fixes!. Thank you for the latest update that fixed the problem with not being able to switch cruises. I love this app now that I can see everything again. I am writing this review while I am aboard the Allure and have been using it several times a day. I love how you can go to the app for just about everything and make purchases too. Being able to check your SeaPass account is really convenient too. You can even open it to check the Ship’s Time so you are back onboard in time.

For general information it’s good.. Our group purchased the onboard messaging through the app. It was very unfortunate though because you did not get new chat message notifications whenever you’re connected to the ships wifi. One of our people had cellular at sea connected (no wifi) and they were the only ones to actually receive a new message notification. Just a heads up that you won’t get notified of new messages when you’re connected to ships wifi (and without the wifi connection the app doesn’t work). I really hope they fix this issue so we can use it properly for our future cruise, otherwise it ends up being a waste of money when you don’t see real time messages and are trying to track someone down.

Very Unorganized Boarding Process. We had assigned boarding times. We arrived an hour and a half early and there was already a line a hour and a half long. The line was semi organized. They did not have enough dividers for the length of the line. There was also not enough man power to keep the line organized. It was so unorganized that people from another cruise line were mixed in with ours. There were also people who would cut in line which was very frustrating for all those who had been in line waiting patiently. There were elderly who could not stand in line very long. We have taken several cruises with various cruise lines (5 with RC) and the boarding process has NEVER been this awful. This is the worst boarding experience we have ever had boarding a cruise. Extremely disappointed with Royal Caribbean.
