Almost Useless App. The two main uses I want from a theme park app are to see wait times and to have a map of the park. Neither of these function well on this app. The map was oriented upside down, blacked out if I tried to interact with it, and just generally confusing. Many of the rides didn’t show wait times at all, but those that did were inaccurate. For example, the app showed a 20 minute wait for Superman, but we were in line for about 75 minutes. The only other thing we tried to do with the app was order food, but it wasn’t accepting any orders at the time. This was mostly frustrating because the stand we were going to order from said they were only doing mobile orders. This was our experience at Six Flags over Georgia.
No covid policies no mask requirements. At the CA discovery kingdom This app was worthless and didn't work right. Map was not accurate and gave wrong directions where it was closed at some areas. Lots of attentions closed that wasn't on the app. Hard to find those "tall souvenir drinks" filled with coke and had to walk all over the park to find food or drinks. No security. No covid restrictions, everyone not wearing a mask and their website shows they are abiding by cdc restrictions.. I sent a complaint to six flags and they responded with "our website shows we are allowing anyone without a mask and who are vaccinated. We are not liable if you catch the covid virus at our parks since it's your discretion to visit the park, " I wouldn't go here at all and I'm filing complaints everywhere as much as I can ! Like everyone said , "app is garbage" and it truly is!!!!!!!!
Unethical Business Practices!. Do not buy tickets!! You are not allowed to reserve a time to go prior to purchasing tickets. Once you purchase the non-refundable tickets (They are very clear on this), you can then check for a reservation. However, not a single reservation time is available. Not ONE!! They are selling non-refundable tickets to people who cannot use the tickets. There is no way to contact them in advance to see if reservations are available. There is no place on the website that says they are currently sold out. They have no customer service number. It’s posted on the website and in the app, but it’s 100% automated. No human interaction. No way to contact anyone about this unethical behavior. As this affects children of all ages, I find this even more sad.
Horrible Customer Experience. Why won’t Six Flags honor its Diamond Elite Member benefit to purchase The Membership Flash Passes @ 50% off at anytime during their membership? A customer doesn’t know if they are going to need it until they actually go to the park and personally experience the 2 hour long lines for each ride. Last time I visited the park I only was able to go on 2 rides due to the long lines. Only allowing it at initial membership purchase is bad business. This practice has led to a dissatisfied customer. Why should I even bother visiting this park? I will be going a lot less than I would have visited if I were allowed to purchase the 50% off flash Pass membership. Magic Mountain corporate this means lower revenue for you. You will lose 10 times as much money as you would have were you to allow this purchase. Now I’ll visit 3 times vs 12 times during 2022 each visit is at least a $200 spend. $2400 for 12 visits $2150 with the flash Pass membership discount. Instead you may get $300 from me across the 3 visits. Do the math with your current policy you lose big time.
Untested, unreliable. Post-merger, Six Flags and Cedar Fair gutted staff. Apparently that includes whoever handles app development and QA. Over the past year, the Six Flags app has slowly built up a list of ignored bugs and broken functionality. This new app was hotly anticipated as a perhaps genuinely working app; but it isn’t. It’s buggy. And not in weird edge cases. Things like not being able to add a pass or when you enter your birthday, it shows the wrong value. Really simply stuff that as an app developer myself I can say is ridiculously easy to test for. Like much of the post-merger Six Flags company, this is a broken, barely working, hastily slapped together, poorly done, untested, unvetted, and un-functional husk that shares nothing but a name with something that used to be awesome.
Not user friendly. You can tell Six Flags is a big company who is TRYING to keep up with the times-making an app for the park. However, the design is not user friendly. Also, a peeve of mine with this app is that I am a seasons pass holder so it updates in my app that I have a seasons pass. When I need to reserve a time that I’ll be visiting (because of covid protocols) the app brings you back to the Internet, you can’t make it through the app. The reservations don’t automatically get your info from the app, so you have to do everything from scratch, including entering the long seasons pass number (which is inconvenient when the card is not on me). It’s somewhat informational, but they should really invest more into designing this to be user friendly.
UTILIZE THE PERKS OFFERED!. This is really worth it. We have the Diamond membership and we get a snack a lunch and a dinner. The only way to get the second meal is to wait three hours after receiving your first meal. Paying $40 for two diamond memberships and have gone two days this far and it has already paid it self off. The diamond elite (which is one membership higher than the diamond membership, and the one we currently have) is only good if you’re purchasing souvenirs and/or trinkets because that Membership gives you up to 50% off of store purchases. The average discount is 35% off though.
disappointed. I am extremely disappointed at my experience today at six flags. I went at 5 pm to try to get into the park with two legal adults, both 18 one almost 19. We did not know before hand that they had made a new policy because this had never been a problem at all. We tried to get into six flags and were stopped for not being over 21, This policy had never occurred before unless it was fright fest, so i was extremely confused on why they would bring it back. We tried to get in with another guardian over 21 but were stopped by the same security guard and they let our guardian pass but not us. Afterwards the same security guards called the security and told us we had to leave for the night or we would be escorted and banned for life. To me i found this rule very unfair and simply stupid, why can an 18 year old not be able to enter when that is a legal adult. If there going to keep a policy they should at least change it so a LEGAL adult should be allowed to be a chaperone for anyone under 15. Not to mention this was my friends last day before her pass expired and we were excited to spend her last day of her pass with eachorher just to not be let in because of this policy.
Sf. Six flags a good place to go with your friend and family it’s various rides + for the young ones . Six flags is also very good when some of the employees well most . On the other hand you go to the boat with a pretty outfit it’s done for you 😂😂😂. I wouldn’t wear nothing white or that turn see thru when its wet . Only few kids can get lost at SixFlags and six flags members help them find there parents before they leave ! I’d Pefer season pass ! It’s affordable for some family’s . I only get season pass because I don’t go to six flags evrey week . It’s an all year around pass . So if your looking for places six flags is that spot to go but don’t stay to late ! The driving lines are longggggg 😘.
What’s wrong with this app?????. I have been using this app for over two years now and lately it has been impossible to use. I have uninstalled and reinstalled thinking that maybe it would reset the app but nope. Now I can’t even add my membership cards on the app to use in the park or use mobile ordering. It keeps telling me that I cannot use the cards because they are not correct. Yet these are the cards I got from Six Flags. Not quite sure what’s going on but I hope it gets resolved soon!!!!
Six Flags Great America. I love how easy and convenient this app is but please fix the Apple wallet to where I can add my prestige membership to my Apple wallet and please make the map interactive because at least 10 times I’ve tried uninstalling the app reinstalling and re-adding my prestige membership to the app. I would love to use the Apple wallet functionality, but it just isn’t there but when my friend bought his prestige membership, it allowed him to add the prestige membership to his wallet, please and thank you. Please fix the issue.
Map won’t let you zoom in and snaps back to where you’re at in the park.. Basically the title. Also let me set my home park as the default when opening the app. Don’t know why the app opens to the alphabetical order of the parks which Six Flags owns. For example I’m here in California, why does it open to Carowinds over in North Carolina. Why not just open to the park closest to you by location, as the app already has access granted to that information. Idk. Just needs to be more fleshed out. Maybe integrate a AI filtered community chat to allow fellow pass holders answer some questions to fellow ticket buyers to answer the questions you guys can’t answer right away / or sometimes the parks social media team will take a while to post a closure. I.E; when it’s raining outside and guests from out of town / visiting for the first time, this causes stress among the guest. The representatives online don’t know if the parks gonna be open or not, yeah you can call them. Yet, sometimes the younger guests would rather put a community question online, we all communicate with one another and the social media team at Knotts to get that answer. This would implement that engagement the app oh so needs. Ik nobody’s gonna read this but, aye; those are my thoughts :)
If I could give this less than one star I would. This is by far the worst app I have ever used. Every single part of this app is subpar, and that’s the absolute nicest way to describe it. From the setup to the use, it would not stop glitching and is as not user friendly as it gets. The cedar point was bad enough and I didn’t think it was possible to do a worse job but the people who maintain this site are either underpaid or six flags is too cheap to pay for it to be properly maintained, which if you look at their profits they have more than enough money to do, or (and probably both). I am a lifetime cedar point goer but this app is so bad that I may have to stop going at all because the amount of time this app has cost us from being wrong halved our ride time, and since the passes are so expensive that isn’t something to take lightly. Do better six flags.
Disappearing information in APP. My app doesn’t have my Aacount information doesn’t show and PRESTIGE PASS reward and perk INFORMATION. I report it thenI see the pass rewards once. Then it disappears. I get emails from Sixflags about renewing then when I click on it more blocking happens in the app like being able to see my name on my PRESTIGE PASS. It won’t flip. I don’t know if Carowinds Parks will honor what was said in 2024 about my Prestige pass purchase. All parks are supposed to be active but my information at SIXFLAGS HAS BEEN compromised since I purchased my pass. Trying to keep my phone on in the park is nearly impossible because when I use the app it drains my iPhone 14. Please address the artificial intelligence problems and remove the problem like other parks have. This is an ongoing issue. I love going to these parks but if these problems continue. They will loose my business. Thanks for your help.
Poor UX Design. There are no images on the search results page of your rides or restaurants. Do you realize how not user-friendly that is? I have to click through on each individual ride or restaurant to reach a page about it where there is one singular photo of it when I scroll down to the bottom. Put that thumbnail on the search results page so I can see all the rides and restaurants at the same time and know visually what it is I’m looking at because just a name of these things is not helpful. I don’t have every single ride of every single Six Flags Park memorized in my mind and what it looks like. Put thumbnail images of your rides in the search results. In the “show all” list. Put thumbnails for each listing you see ON THE RESULTS PAGE. Do you get it? Do the developers actually try to use the app they make?
What a down grade. Being forced into the update, it lost my season pass membership. Took half an hour to find my membership number, couldn’t figure out how to add it, acted like I didn’t have an account so had to create an account. Then it magically found my pass…even though I supposedly didn’t have an account. Then trying to find where my pass actually was was totally not obvious, under “wallet” instead of a top level navigation button. Rides have filters, and you can add favorites…but you can’t filter by favorite? That seems like a huge miss. I’m waiting for Magic mountain to open right now, and it’s not even clear to me whether or not the app is even going to show wait times? Whatever money was spent on this should have gone into fixing the score counter on justice league. Did this app go through any UX testing? That’s my opinion, but what do I know. I’m just an app developer.
BAD SERVICE. Here’s the deal. I am a PREMIUM six flags member and payed a lot of money for my pass. The service I have received over the past 13 years of being a member isn’t relevant. Starting off strong with multiple of the thrill rides always being closed for most of the day. Next is customer service. Even though most of the population attending this park is teenagers who DONT HAVE CREDIT CARDS, the park doesn’t take cash and the kids are unable to pay easily. Although there are Cash-to-Card machines i’ve run into many problems with them such as left over money that cannot be used and broken dispensers. Another thing is the drop off point. The location to pick up and drop of passengers is a very far distance. I’m hot enough and don’t want to walk another mile. Lastly the food and water situation. I think it’s a very smart idea to give out free water except the cups are very small and can hold limited water which in inhuman for the price of the tickets. I’ve had many bad incounters with buying food and bad service from the workers. I’m very disappointed most of the time I visit.
Food service represents need some customer service training. My experience at Six Flags White Water was less than desirable but only because of the food service representatives. I will not go into great detail because I did go to guest services and discuss my concerns with the representative. My suggestions are to have just some kiosks for DRINKS ONLY, designated cue lines for all restaurants, an ordering system that helps the food service employees deliver food to the customers in the order that they were in line. There is apparently NO system in place now to fill customer orders. If Six Flags White Water will fix their food service problems, they will create a much nicer experience for their customers.
Ticket Scam. This app cannot handle payment processing for purchasing park tickets. Myself and two other people in my party attempted to buy the tickets (using cards from different banks) and it errors out every time. We ended up going to the park and explained the situation to the staff, but they insisted that since we were buying tickets in the park, we have to pay $40 more per ticket. The people in front of us and behind us in line had the same issue as well. Normally, I would assume it was just a one-off error, but we had this problem the last time we came two years ago too. It seems that they intentionally advertise low ticket prices online, and then when you go to purchase tickets, it errors out and you have to pay more at the park. Six flags has really gone downhill.
Terrible update. I’ve been a season pass holder for magic mountain for over 3 years. I love the park and understand basic business. This new app update has been terrible. I use to find the app useful but since the update it’s been nothing but a pain. First of all it’s not intuitive at all, I go twice a week and still am not used to the new update. Secondly the rude wait times are not accurate at all and I don’t understand why, before the update they were pretty accurate. Mobile ordering is now a joke, I had to wait an hour and a half, and there’s no way I see to know whether a resturaunt is open or not. Also, when I first updated the app it lost my pass and I had to deal with membership services for 30 minutes. On behalf of all of us, PLEASE SWITCH THE OLD APP
Nothing but problems no way!. It's frustrating I'm a good paying patron. I live in southern California. I just recently moved here Magic Mountain about 10 minutes away. I lived about 30 minutes away for the last 27 years and I've always had a pass in the last four years. I've had multiple problems related to my online passes I've been invested hours in time talking to customer service, who seems unwilling to help or unknowledgeable, it's very difficult to get a hold of anybody they don't willingly post, their phone numbers and the online chat is absolutely horrible. It disconnected me and then made me start over wasting even more of my time, and I was not allowed admission to the park the last time I went with my two young children for this reason.
Good but no way to check -in for rides at Darien Lake. We just got memberships, when asking at the guest services about how to earn rewards for rides I was met with “uhh, I don’t know really”. Basically told me we only earn when they scan out membership when we walk in, and that’s it. I know Darien is a newer addition to six flags, but if it’s going to be under that name, then maybe you should work to improve guest experience to be more in line with the remainder of Six Flags parks. I don’t see an interactive map, just the regular one. I would love to be able to earn all of the rewards for rides we go on. Maybe I can update this review, if anything changes in the future. Looking forward to the mobile food ordering, because yesterday’s counter experience was underwhelming. One person working at a stand on a busy, scorching Saturday. But overall, it’s a decent app that allows me to have all of our memberships in one place.
App review not park review. The app is mediocre at best. You can’t look at FULL menus, only some items, for the different eateries offered at your park. The maps are either going to be interactive or not, depends on how long your park has been in the six flags franchise, the ride times are almost always grossly inaccurate, I’ve walked into rides with a supposed minimum wait of 55 minutes. If the device you used isn’t to the size they did when designing it, some icons and buttons are inaccessible. In short while some of the features do work, and some don’t, most of the variables are a by park issue. My home park has minimal issues for the park specific features, but my iPhone SE does make me have issues with UI scaling
New 5.03 App still doesn’t work.. Download & installed the new app, login window just spins endlessly. After you quit and restart the app l, suddenly you’re logged in. However, all your information, info: name, home park, etc. is blank, even though you’re logged in. My membership pass is missing and no benefits displayed. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, it’s more of the same bad coding. The merger has been a complete customer relations disaster. Just last Saturday, had to wait at the gate over an hour while they argued that I didn’t have a valid pass. Eventually they said that guest relations gave me the wrong info via email & gave me a day pass but charged me $35 for my free parking privileges. Later I received an email telling me the previous email from GR was incorrect. The email then went on to say basically the same info that my pass was indeed valid. Contradicting info within the same email. Ugh.
App is garbage. A friend bought her ticket for one day and had all time slots open, I have a platinum member pass and no time slots were available for the exact same day. We did this at the same time so it’s very hard to believe the entire day sold old within one minute. So annual members don’t get the same days and time slots as someone who is just purchasing a one day ticket on the spot. Weird how these “benefits” are working. Also when you go to make a reservation it’s beyond glitchy half my page disappeared when I was trying to make the useless 4:15 time slot? (The first time buyer got 11:15 am ) made me type in my membership number about 5 times even tho I am fully logged into the app. Ive tried, multiple times, to speak to an actual human about the issues and can’t get through to anyone it had me waiting then the page froze and logged me out. You just get transferred to multiple robots that don’t answer your questions at all. I’ve had nothing but problems with this and regret buying this membership, not worth it at all.
Great app… when it works… which is rare. This app works great when it works. The problem is, it rarely works. We were at Cedar Point last weekend. It was difficult to use, but when it finally started working, it was great. We could get directions, see where we were in the park, see what times, etc. At Michigan’s Adventure this weekend and it has been atrocious. In the park, it doesn’t know I’m in the park and I can’t see wait times. I’ve tried all the things I can think of, as far as allowing location, and nothing. I’m constantly having to delete the app and redownload. Sometimes that helps, but most of the time it doesn’t. I love the idea, but am frustrated, to say the least, about the execution of this app.
Not good. Six Flags encourages people to use their app’s meal ordering function. However it doesn’t reliably prevent you from ordering items from restaurants that are closed! We ordered lunch only to find out 30 minutes later the restaurant wasn’t even open. Worse yet they charged the meal even though we never got anything. Guest relations was completely unhelpful so now we’re hoping the credit card company will cancel the charge. The app also didn’t recognize our day pass had at least one meal credit, which we could only activate in person with a cashier. As far as rides go, the status of rides being open or temporarily closed was not very accurate on the app. Nor did the stated wait times match what was on the TV monitors in the park. These experiences are related to the Los Angeles area Six Flags so maybe that park is just poorly run. Finally the map function is helpful for telling you where you are at the moment although the navigation feature was not intuitive. An old fashioned paper map would have worked just as well but they don’t seem to have those around anymore.
Don’t Bother Downloading App. Don’t bother downloading the app! It’s easier to use a paper map. The app is only good if you want to be environmentally friendly by not using paper. The app kept crashing and when I tried ordering food, it wouldn’t let me until multiple tries and closing and reopening the app. There’s signs and announcements to order food on the app. After taking time to get everyone’s order, the app either wanted membership numbers, season pass info, or you had to pay. We were one day visitors and couldn’t use our $38 meal passes that I paid for ahead of time. So into the line we go. Once there everyone is packed close together. It’s as if L.A. wasn’t dealing with the D variant of covid! It took well over an hour to order food and get a refill because they don’t staff the food windows with enough helpers to get the customers’ basic needs met. The water bottle refill station in one part of the park was broken and another part, the water was cloudy. The app is also crowded. The icons are not placed right next to the rides and the layout of the map is incorrect. For example, it shows rides next to certain food locations, which in reality is incorrect. I spent so much time trying to figure out where we were. This app made our visit more confusing and frustrating and there isn’t enough staff to help you find your way. The app makes the park LOOK like it’s keeping up with the times, but if you peel back that layer and look around and observe, you’ll see: thirsty, hungry customers, unhappy, overheated staff, and a dirty, unkept park.
Little disappointed. Went to New England six flags for the first time yesterday and have to say I wasn’t to much pleased with a few things. A few of the rides that I had wanted to go on which was a main reason for going were closed, when riding food it took an hour for me to get a burger and fries and once I did get to place my order they really weren’t organized with handing the food out in order. The customers had to hand their recipes to the workers and ask them for their food and if we didn’t we stood there lost with no direction. Also when ordering fried dough I asked for light powder and I ended up getting more then looked like cane on it if I would have just asked for it on normally. As this will not keep me from the park I found it a little disappointing for my first experience at the New England park.
App either needs work or employees are lazy. Went to Six Flags Over Texas for the first time in over a decade and was disappointed in many things, this app being one of them. I was initially excited to discover a Six Flags app as I enjoy using the apps for Disney World and Silver Dollar City. I love that they have the ability to show wait times, routes to places you want to go, and online food ordering. The Six Flags app, however, was EXTREMELY inaccurate with wait times and listed rides that were closed (and there were many of them) as open, which was frustrating after making a trips across the park for certain rides. Many rides that said 5 minute wait times were actually more of a 30-40 minute wait. I don’t know if employees are in charge of keeping that up to date but they need to do a much better job. We also bought the dining pass but couldn’t get it to load onto the app due to poor internet access in the park. It’s 2024, how is that still an issue? Then half of the restaurant workers weren’t knowledgeable about what foods or drinks were included with the pass or said they didn’t accept the dining pass even thought their restaurant was included under “dining pass” in the app. And lastly, the tracker was frustrating and couldn’t find our location in the park or was slow to catch up when mapping rides. Overall made for a stressful experience which was disappointing as it was my kids’ first ever trip to Six Flags. It was also sad to see the current state of the park, I assume Covid did a number on it because they weren’t enough employees working and much of it was closed or had limited options. It was also more rundown—lots of things need to be cleaned up or repainted and the theming was kind of all over the place. Very sad fall from the Six Flags Over Texas of the 90’s. As a DFW resident it confirmed why we don’t hear as much about anymore like we did back then.
Florida family having fun. We suffered through hurricane Michael. Now at the end of the summer we are just about to have our home rebuilt and have our lives back. We bought platinum memberships to six flags and came here for an end of the summer fun before school starts family vacation. Six flags has been awesome. We got the platinum flash pass and the experience was improved 10 fold by having that added feature. It’s like having a park super power to skip all the lines and just say let’s go do that then go do it. Thank you six flags for letting us unwind and forget about the mess at home for a little while!!! We will definitely be back...
Unbelievable. I’ve been to six flags for almost my entire life and i’ve never experienced what has happened today. Ever since covid started we had to make reservations to able to get in, there was no events or anything, today took a twist, we made reservations for today and were very excited, we drove 3 hours and those 3 hours were excitements, when we arrived it said that there was a event going on to ride the rides, we said we payed for it and still didn’t let us in, honestly i don’t know why they didn’t let us in but we’ve cleared so much on our days just to come and enjoy today. We’re still waiting for our money back. I hope this never happens again because honestly this is unbelievable.
Can’t wait until another water park opens in W. Valley. This place is a joke. . I understand being over crowded because there is no competition for the park to compete with. You can’t order chicken nuggets on the app because of a shortage. The park WiFi is terrible without them having their own WiFi for guests so the app is super slow to non existent. When ordering other food the time slots fill up too fast. Customer service is a joke. Good luck getting a hold of someone over the phone. I had issues with my membership post Pndemic which I kept paying even though there was an option to put on hold. My fault for thinking that they would be able to compensate you for being a good patron. This place needs a reality check which will hopefully come once the new lark opens by WestGate. I was excited when they did an in park survey so that I could give them some constructive criticism instead posting on a site like this. Unfortunately the survey was very controlled with just trying to find their demographic without asking for feedback or comments. This place knows it’s a joke and that we in the west valley are trapped. If you can wait until next year when the other park opens. Do it. Oh yeah, one more thing, they make you rent tubes instead of providing enough park tubes to service their customers. Terrible!!!
Not very reliable.. We decided to go to X-Flight because the app had said it was a 15-minute wait time. When we got there, one of the employees announced over the speaker that due to only one train running, it was going to be SEVENTY MINUTES. And guess what? That was hours ago, and the app *still* marks the wait time as 15 minutes. Also, Great American Eagle is still listed as “temporarily closed,” even though it’s back open (and we even rode it!) Either update the times more frequently, or add electronic signs that display the wait time at each ride, like other parks. Also, the app would constantly say we were in Hurricane Harbor, despite a) it being closed, and b) us not being there. The map would crash a couple times. I had to either refresh the app, or even delete it and redownload it. What’s the point of paying a lot of money if it won’t be used for useful updates to the parks and app?
Map is difficult to use. It great to have a our family members’ passes on one app and not have to carry our cards. The map falls short though, in that landmarks are not labeled. You can select to show restaurants, rides, etc, but they are represented by icons so you have to tap each one to find the destination you’re searching for. Also it would be great if the map could be interactive/real time while in the park so you can actually see where you are located. The app also should have a link to the member portal where you can reserve parking (I don’t know why this needs to be on a separate site from all other six flags info). This would make the app a more comprehensive tool for visitors to the park.
Good rides, difficulty with food and drinks. Tried getting in line for something that said it was “accepting mobile orders”. I was told after waiting in line and making the order at the counter that I had to make it on the app. Meals are nearly 20$ and fries are 8$ on top of that. Drinks are ridiculous as well for 5$, given the chance to suffer hypothermia or have a heat stroke. Same thing happened to my brother once at another park, where he fainted onto our mom, and the people who were running the food/drink stand said it “wasn’t their job to help.” Thankfully staff ran up soon after and got him somewhere cool and helped him feel better.
FOR THOSE WHO ARE STRUGGLING WITH THE NEW APP. Ok, I work at six flags fiesta Texas, first off. I use the app, and I like the old one but that's not the point. Please for the love of god, when you go to sign in, and it's not working, MAKE A NEW ACCOUNT!!!! Click sign up or create account. Your passes will be there if you sign up to the app with the email that is attached to the passes!!!! This is an issue we have been dealing with, and will have to deal with for a while. If you come to guest services or guest relations because of this issue with your app not having your passes, your gonna have to wait in a long line usually just for it to be such a simple fix, you can usually have your passes back without waiting for two hours in a line.
Benefits with our ultimate season pass. We have had major problems with the preferred parking, both at six flags and hurricane harbor . Also at hurricane harbor it would not let us reserve a seating area and the web site says it’s 1st come first serve. We get it and they still turn us away and there is no one sitting there. When we go to guest services at six flags and hurricane harbor it is more of the same. They don’t know what to do and how to fix it. Took 3 people at 6 flags and when I got home I find that they have deleted all our passes from the app and I had to reinstall everything. We have been supporters of 6 flags and hurricane harbor got a lot of years but this year is the pits. No one seems to know what is going on and keep passing you off to someone else who seems to know even less. This includes the managers. I hope you can get it fixed before you lose business.
Good Luck Updating Important Info. I’ve had my Six Flags passes for a while now and I’ve used the app basically that whole time and I think there are a few issues with it that really hurt the experience. The main one I’m writing for is that it’s a major hassle trying to update billing info for your passes through the app. It is not at all accessible, and I had to go way into my purchase history to get the order number for my purchase so I could even update it. The only way to do it was just by going to the website anyway, and when I tried to log in initially it said that my email address could not be found even though I triple checked it and the order number was associated with it. I eventually got it handled, but getting there was a total mess.
Glitches. This app is very glitchy. It stalls out and you have to continuously reload it. Because of this, I ended up purchasing extra tickets that they won’t refund. Purchase attempt 1: add tickets, stall out and reload. Purchase attempt 2: cart empty, add tickets, stall out and reload. Purchase attempt 3: cart empty, add tickets, make purchase only to notice at the summary screen that my order was doubled… Contacted support through the application, chat stalls out and disconnects. Took four attempts to complete my request only to have the agent say they submitted a request but didn’t think my double order would be refunded. The tickets I purchased on the computer will not load in my app profile either… All around, bad initial experience with the app.
Disappointed. First time here in two years, all of which I have been paying for a Diamond membership. When I arrived at noon, Hurricane Harbor Valencia priority line was closed already and I was stuck behind a large group getting passes. When I went to Magic Mountain at 2:00pm, there also were no priority lines. One of the best benefits of priority entrance is (would be) midday when it gets crowded. It’s simple to do, just keep one priority line open all day and feed someone (one customer/group at a time) from the regular entrance line next to it when no one is in the priority entrance line. That way I always have priority entrance (as is implied in the marketing) but you don’t “waste” an entrance if no one is using the priority entrance. If it is properly signed and fenced as when it is currently open. And then my comment would be, “great, the lines were long and I was able to get in quickly because I have priority entrance. Glad I purchased a pass with that benefit!”.
Worst day ever. I was excited for our first family outing to Hurricane Harbor, Jackson Nj since restrictions were lifted. My kids brought friends and we got to the park early. It went downhill from there. We are members snd the day before we tried to add our meal plans and it wouldn’t let us. We decide to do it at the park. First off we couldn’t get and season drink cups because they were sold out. Then when we went to member services we were told we couldn’t add the meal plans to our membership. They referred us to a number to call which referred us to the website which has been down almost all day. The other option was to cancel our membership, start all over and add the meal plans but they wouldn’t go into effect for the day. Which left us no option. To top it all off 1/2 of the rides were closed due to nit enough staffing. As someone who has paid all through covid monthly I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed with the service at this establishment.
Barely does the bare minimum. This app does show if a ride is closed. This is probably the most useful feature. Ride wait times don’t seem to be accurate. For example, it said the wait time Titan was <15 minutes, but the line was all the way out of the entrance. The map is also super glitchy, reorienting itself at random. It also recenters on you every time you click out of an attraction info page, which is super annoying. The filters are also next to useless. For example, the kiddie boot ride called Rodeo is considered a thrill ride. Lastly, it doesn’t even know where everything in the park is. I turned on the restroom filter while standing directly next to a restroom, and it said the closest one was a quarter mile away. So if you want to confirm whether or not a ride is for sure closed or not, this might be worth a download. Otherwise, just look at the ride forms on the tvs provided in the park or talk to a park worker if you have any questions.
False Information on the Food Section of the App. assumed it was only Hurricane Harbor menus. Nope I was wrong last Saturday “Wascal’s” was near by when me and my friend wait in line I ask them I want a “Double Western Burger with Fries” the lady says “we don’t have that on the menu” show her politely it’s on the app menu, once again she says “the app menus are out dated” for those of you want to check out the menus throughout the Six Flags app don’t bother it’s outdated and false information. Don’t assume a restaurant have what you see on the app, I’m really upset, waited in line for awhile and walked far to get to these restaurants for what was on the app menu, than to find out they don’t have is frustrating. The app needs to be updated, also they advertise order ahead of time in the park, but my friend & I was spending time to look for it on the app. Crazy how companies encourage you to use their app, but yet it’s outdated. Recommend using the app only for the map and to access your pass. Will post this on the IOS store review to.
Arlington SF. Man, after hearing people talk up SF for YEARS I was excited to finally go. I’m from up north and usually visit Cedar Point. We went for the first time to SF today and had a horrible time. Half of the rides were closed down and the app was awful about keeping you updated. Walk all the way from one side of the park to the other to get on a ride that the app says is open when it’s actually closed down. The app is unreliable for everything, wait times, ordering food, etc. It’s really only useful for finding restrooms. I won’t be coming back for a long time. Especially in the summer considering there’s barely anything there that is indoors. 50% of the park is just carnival games you have to pay an additional price for. Overall I just don’t understand the hype.
Another update with even more problems. I am beginning to think that no one on the development (or leadership) team has ever actually visited a park and used the app. One of the stated goals of the merger was to take advantage of legacy Six Flags’ technology. I hope this isn’t supposed to exemplify that. It seems like they’re aware about some of the bugs, probably from reading all the new 1-star reviews, but each BFPI update fixes one thing and breaks 72 others. 1. The automatic location thing is completely broken. Heck, the app can’t even remember what park I was looking at when I view my pass then go back to the home tab. 2. Every app launch is still somehow met with “we’re migrating your account”…over and over again. 3. The haptics need to go (or need to be optional). 4. This update specifically “fixes” Apple Wallet…except it now errors when you attempt to add to Wallet. 5. Navigating with the explore feature is a mess. The UX seems to prioritize appearance over efficiency and functionality. Not being able to scrub the map while navigating means not being able to visualize how far away something is or where your next turn is. This is a solved problem in every navigation app (and every other park chain’s apps). Give us a way to provide actual bug reports. Offer a TestFlight. Let us help you make a good app. If that’s not possible, send the team to a park with a family member and have them watch that person fumble through it. Just do something.
Concern. You guys at the sixflags headquarters should really work on adding a tab in app to make payments directly from the app to your servers, doing all the transactions online on the website is really not safe. We are finding people calling us from different agencies trying to ask for payments telling us where we live and stuff, pretty much they got hold of all the information we in-trusted in your servers, as far as I know I’ve kept up with all the payments and there are bank statements that prove that. Luckily they don’t have any debit or credit card information but as this has happened more often, is starting to be of concern to us, and feel that this is something that should be looked into, so that all your guests can feel safe and know that their information is in good and safe hands.
Buggy app. I like the park, no issues with the park. But as a Six Flags membership pass holder, I have a couple of issues with the app. Namely when trying to access my benefits. Every time I try to open “My Rewards & Coupons” under My Six Flags, the entire app shuts down. I can’t access it from the app, haven’t been able to for months. Also, while I have all of these Member Points, I have zero clue how to redeem them, and the app does not provide any reasonably accessible instructions on how to do so. And lastly, when I go to make reservations to the park, even though I’m logged in to the app I still have to manually enter the entire membership pass number which is a dumb amount of digits, at least 20. The app could use some work.
Was worse than useless. For Magic Mountain - wait times were ludicrously incorrect and we wasted so much time heading to rides that said they had decent wait times only to find that they were hours off (or closed!). Other times we walked past rides that were clearly nearly empty that had long wait times on the app. At one point, a ride that we estimated to be able a half hour wait said that it was a 320 minute wait time! Online ordering let us order items that weren’t available. The map doesn’t show labels, so you have to click in to see what everything is, so looking for where a particular ride or restaurant is takes a million clicks on things to find if. On the flip side, the attraction and restaurant details don’t have a map inset to give you a clue where things are. The only info was to refer to “districts” that, surprise!, aren’t indicated on the map. We legitimately would have had a better and more efficient time at the park by only using the physical signs to navigate and just looking at the lines as we went by to guess at the wait times and/or asking people who were coming off how long they waited. The only tiny benefit was if you already knew where you were going on the map, you could find the possible paths from where you were. But, seriously, that did not make up for the wild goose-chases from the made-up wait times and food choices.
Six Flags App. I really like this six flags app. It keeps me updated on all of the new things and discounts, it shows me where to go so i can get to places, it shows the wait lines, the schedules, and its just a fun place to be at. Also with this app, i linked my gold membership card to it and a couple of others so if i ever lose my card, I always have it on my phone so i can get in whenever. This app shows all of the buildings and rides listed so i know where they are and what turns i need to take. I have always enjoyed this six flags app and I will continue to use it for a very long time.

Names of card holders are gone. What happened ? We have a bunch a of cards from 3 different families in our phones. So when we bring different kids to the parc no worries we have everything. But today all the passes are still in the phones but the names are gone so we don’t know which pass goes with which person. Bring back the names ASAP. It’s urgent ! They fixed it ! Less then a week later, thank you ! I increased my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. Now it’s useful for me.

Buggy, outdated info, live chat agent had faulty info. - This app automatically quits when I switch apps on my iOS (bug) - Said all rides (at La Ronde) were closed when park was definitely open in the summer - Says no shows or events right now, even though La Ronde has shows and the Fright Fest happening every weekend this month (October) - When you use its Live Chat feature, you are chatting with a computer bot with limited pre-programmed responses. It does have a response to transfer you to an actual live agent if it doesn’t know how to respond to your message, but from my single experience, the live agent gave me incorrect pass price information and rudely ended our chat without notice while I was in the middle of typing a question. - The Live Chat bot also shares outdated links (e.g., when I took its suggestion to see the Fright Fest website, it shares a non-working Fright Fist link that’s dated two years ago) - The file attachment function in the Live Chat doesn’t work on my iOS (the agent does not receive my attachments). The only useful thing about this app is that it can keep track of my tickets/passes

Update it. The map and attractions shown on the map are not properly updated. There are some attractions in the Parc that are open but not even listed and it is extremely annoying. Plus sometimes the app bugs.

Worst profile management ever. It’s so easy when you have a pass to just manage the benefits with an app… Disney can do it with Genie+, Universal too why is it a mess spending 1hour of your paid time at the flash pass desk….Cheap flags as always

Stupid app. Be aware… when you order online for food won’t tell you your food is being sold at the opposite park, I ordered thinking I am going to pick up my food, can’t find the restaurant and the employee told me the restaurant is I the opposite park, I need membership to enter to pick up my food. App should ask you or let you know the restaurant that is offering you is in the opposite park or at least tell you in what park is located. I lost my money since you must pay first before they do your food. Waited like 30 minutes just to find out I can’t pick up my food. What a stupid app
Mobile app. The new app offers many more options to view what’s going on at the parks. I like that. It’s a nice look and very user friendly. While there have been some challenges, I like and appreciate that they are making constant changes to improve the app. I look forward to seeing what comes of this app in the future.
Very Clunky and not thorough. The app is great for maps, looking at wait times, and getting general info. It doesn’t however have any kind of capabilities for season pass owners. EG: my food vouchers aren’t available in the app, I need to wait in line to order, I can’t activate my flash pass in the app I need to go visit the flash pass office and wait in line. Most of the other benefits the app also sends you to the browser. Doesn’t look like they thought this through well, hopefully it’s fixed soon.
Not user friendly. I have a gold membership. I have been working to buy a friend ticket to the park. I have read, watched the videos, used my desktop computer to no avail! The video says go to the membership portal, click on the benefits tab, click admission then click on advanced purchase. These is NOT an advanced purchase to click on. Very frustrating!! The computerized chat was no help. It doesn’t understand your questions. I had to wait too long for the advanced chat. This is not the first time I have had trouble with the site. I it just not user friendly!
Devs need to do some work. First off none of us could add the pass to our Apple wallet. That was 4 different iPhone users unable to add to our wallet. Secondly when I wanted to upgrade/purchase the dining pass, it opens a new window with the only option to purchase VIP experience. No option for a dining pass. Why can’t we have the wait times for the rides on the ride tiles? Instead we have to click on passes and the flash pass to see current ride wait times. I’m sure that was intentional so people will be more likely to purchase a fast pass but why not have it on both?
Too many closed rides- disappointing visit. We find that there is really long lines for the rides that are open because so many rides are closed including the boardwalk which we really wanted to go to yesterday it was closed today it’s closed and not open at noon none of the rides were open at noon when it opened the food is not good for the price to greasy last the app to get rewards in points does not register that you are and a ride or in the line for the ride so you can’t get the points but it says because it won’t register you’re there
Disastrous mobile food ordering. This is our second weekend at Six Flags. Last time we didn’t get food cause system took food order at the place that was closed so it never got taken out of system. The second time we waited 40 minutes for the food that was order on the app and the staff was confused about our order and had no idea when they can get it for us. Our order was literally chicken tenders. How hard can be to grab 4 already cooked tenders and put in the box with fries. I’m totally regretting getting meal pass this year. This is a total waste of money
Struggling. Overall, the app is pretty good, but every time I click to see my rewards and coupons, the app crashes. Every single time. And it’s been doing it for months. I just tried to get help via the live chat and that UI really stunk. I tried to upload a picture and there was no way to actually submit it. I selected it, but then couldn’t get out of that screen and had to close the app, thus losing the live chat. Then, I have no idea how to reserve parking. No way to find out how to do it in the app. Dumb.
Oh My, Wait Times are gone!. Well, I’m standing in line, on a quiet Monday morning. Pop open App, (yes, it’s different and a work in progress), but there’s no wait times. The description in the Apple App Store says that wait times are part of the app. So, I’m hoping that they’ll return soon. I find that feature very useful in planning my day around the park.
Needs an update. The map navigation is confusing and inaccurate, It will tell you there’s a ride in the middle of a grass patch rather than the actual location. Wait times are completely wrong, I was in a line that said it was a 20 minute wait, but it turned out to be an 90+ minute wait. I’d prefer they remove this feature since it doesn’t work. I think they should also include what rides are “temporarily closed” before you get to six flags. It doesn’t allow you unless you’re at the physical park.
Katy’s kettle. I placed a mobile order for a turkey leg and had my daughter go pick up the order while I was saving a table to eat at. I went to the counter to get a refill on my souvenir cup and she said I had to stand inline because my daughter didn’t bring the cup with her to pick up her order. Ellie was so rude and her customer service is terrible. What’s the point of doing a mobile order if she can’t refill my cup just because my daughter didn’t bring it up when she picked up the order. She needs to be more human and provide some real customer service. Terrible experience with this mobile order.
Six flags America (worst park in America ). I have been to just aboutEvery park on the East Coast, Six Flags America is not only the worst out of all the Six Flags parks it is the worst part in general in America. It doesn’t matter what day or time you go half the rides are closed. The park is filled with safety hazards like nails protruding from a lack of proper maintenance in many of the places you stand in line to The sanitation being atrocious and the cleanliness of the park is putrid. The employees have no manners and barely speak English and are extremely rude using vulgar language even in front of children. My advice steer clear from this slime stain on the amusement parks of America.
Six Flags post pandemic. We have had a wonderful time, everything is well organized well planned and well protected. Trying to maintain social distancing can be difficult at times but everybody is cooperating. Unfortunately the only thing negative I have to say is it come across more empty hand sanitizers then fall and not all riser open make sure you check the ride list before you come.
Staff is very rude and not helpful at all!!. Staff did not allow me to buy tickets at window said go to the app then when showing them to show me where they took me to the buy ticket app bought the ticket went to the gate was told it was for phenoix park would not refund me told me to buy another ticket Bought another ticket went to the gate same girl told me she was not letting anyone else in wait for another attendant now waiting at the gate for someone to let us in RIDICULOUS!!!! I have had memberships for 10 years and w canceled last year but decided to give one more chance and so far not looking good
Convenient for passed, difficult for food ordering. Very easy app to use for parking pass, and season pass. However, very limited options for ordering food in advance, and the list of the seven restaurants has no link back to the map. To find a restaurant, you have to search the entire map to find the restaurant. Also, difficult to find where to purchase the Flashpass and $150/person is insanely expensive.
Bad Update for App. Why with this last update the app doesn’t allow me to sign in at all? I have the diamond elite vip for both of my college students and myself as well as the dining pass. I shouldn’t have to worry bout my membership that I pay for monthly or have to worry bout uploading my pass onto the app. There is no navigation at all on the app for six flags. Please do a major fix on the app as well cause what if I forget my pass at home and want to use my app but unable to sign in to use the parking pass that is part of my membership?
Great App, but needs some improvements. So Glad this app was created! One thing that I hope the developers update is the maps, as they seem to be from 2018, and not the current 2020 maps. Something interesting to add would be the addition of flash pass on the app, to allow for an easier and efficient experience. Other than that, not a bad app at all!
New app update/version. It’s nice and feel smoother but the special offers for admission it’s unorganized and inefficient. They still shows offers that are EXPIRED months ago and it doesn’t even say expired so I feel like it’s a waste of time seeing going through it and trying to reach every single one. Also multiple 20% off buttons and having to click it in order to see what it’s for its kind of inefficient. Needs a better title that explains a little more to save the trouble of possibility clicking one that’s across the country and or something that is expired. It’s crazy that you can’t order tickets on the app still.
Dissatisfied customer. The line to get in the park was astronomical! 1 hr wait! A lot of rides closed! And 2 hrs getting my family food and we have dining passes! Said I wasn’t in park had to wait in food line get denied then customer service line then back in food line! 1 lady working at Timber ridge pizza! Have to wait in long lines to get drink refills while people are waiting on food! Terrible organization and management
Frustrating. First, the app will not let me assign the meal tickets to myself the purchaser. I am buying a season pass for a friend and it will only let me assign it to her, which I do not want to do. Then, I complete my transaction and it it just spins in a loading mode and then disappears. I don’t see the ticket in my app. I am now online on my computer and hoping desperately that I am not double charged.
Amazing new app!. Six Flags crushed it with their app update! It’s so easy to find rides, get around the park, and even order food so I don't have to wait in any food lines. The new maps are 🔥 btw, truly a standout experience. If you add your pass to the app, you never need to worry about losing the little paper card, highly recommend! I can’t wait to see what Six Flags is going to do next with this app, thank you!
Disappointed. We came to the Six Flags over Georgia‘s car. Today, it would’ve been nice if they would have posted on the website that they were short staffed. We have stood in line for almost an hour and a half for food. There is only like maybe three food places open, and many of the rides are not operating.
Like parts but horrible for reservations. So I like the idea of the SF app, handy to just open and have your pass available, and then make a reservation etc. Right? No...even though I am logged in, can see all my ‘benefits’ kept paying for when couldn’t use to support the parks, to go in to make a reservation or see what’s available, you have to manually enter pass #. Won’t allow a copy/paste from the e-pass, or to scan from picture capture. Not life stopping of course but you asked while I was having to deal with it, it’s an easy tech fix!
Terrible App. Horribly inaccurate wait times. Reported Bugs White Water Rapids as being a 5 minute wait when it was well over 50+ minutes. Reported Dare Devil Flying Machines as 90+ minute wait and it was really a 5 minute wait. Reported SEVERAL rides as being closed when they were FULLY operating! Many restaurants that were promoted as having the option for mobile order wasn’t available on the app. The 30th anniversary food booths were not available in the app. This app is only useful for locating rides, restaurants, bathrooms, and the photo pass. Horrible, please update with FULL ACCURACY! However SIX FLAGS FIESTA TEXAS IS INCREDIBLE FUN FOR ALL BUT DON’T USE THE APP UNTIL ITS ACCURATE.
Disappointing this season. I think the Park is trying with what resources they have, but, that being said, Frightfest has been a mess both times we went. Food lines, even w/mobile ordering, are ridiculously long. The drink kiosk are often not working or don’t have ice. Now there’s some type of magnetic sticker needed to make it work. For the volume of people the park is accepting they are NOT prepared. Both weekends had some type of fights breaking out & groups of people running & screaming like there was an active shooter. Very disappointed.
Came to this park with my season pass and season flash pass. Went to the flash pass membership line to redeem my flash pass, I was told to go to the membership services (waited another hour ) for a supervisor to raise her voice at me and tell me my pass doesn’t work at this park, I told her I was a diamond elite member and I was told not to come back to membership for help, worst customer service ever experienced
Stolen property and long food lines. Had my souvineer refillable drink bottle stolen out of my backpack side pocket while walking. Told staff within 60 seconds (told staff Ellie by Colossus) and was told my responsibility to keep an eye on my personal belongings at all times. Pretty jacked response since it was taken off my body. Went to use my food pass and you have only a few places that serve GF. But you closed Ace of Clubs and only have two windows at Johnny Rockets. Been in line 30 min and moved 10 feet. Got a huge long line but no staff.
LOVE THIS APP. As someone who visits SixFlags every year this app made it so much easier to buy tickets and learn more about different passes. I love how this app has a map that shows you every inch and corner of the park, it also shows you the wait time on each ride (only the wait time of the flash pass line). Overall this is a great app and I recommend every SixFlags thrill seeker to get it. 🫡
Getting an answer. I can’t find an answer to my question about Friends/Family Rates online, or chat & I can’t get anyone to answer the phone. I’ve been a member for 9 years & I have to spend more & more money every year to get the same things I used to get years ago. I will not be coming after this year & I will not be buying my nieces & nephews memberships at Christmas either. You just lost 10 memberships, an outspoken person on Facebook Instagram a school district & when I come next week. An Unhappy Customer who used to love bringing my child there, :(
Magic Mountain park map. This app is good but the park map for Magic Mountain really needs to be updated. It is long overdue for that to happen. There have been a lot of changes at Magic Mountain since the map in your app has changed. West Coast Racers and that area opened in 2020 yet the map hasn’t been updated to show it. The Green Lantern ride has been torn down and the new Wonder Woman Flight of Courage ride has opened yet the map still hasn’t changed. WHEN WILL YOU UPDATE THE MAGIC MOUNTAIN PARK MAP? The paper map you pick up in the park has updated but not the one in your app.
Processed my $500 order and never gave me my tickets. I used apple pay with this app to purchase 2 day passes and 2 platinum flash passes. Payment went through but i never got a confirmation email and the tickets never showed up in my tickets tab. Also there is no customer service they just tell you to leave your phone number and they say they'll get back to you. Checked my back and it definitely withdrew the $500. How this app has 4.6 stars is beyond me, apparently im the first one to grt flat out scammed by it with nothing i can do other than call my bank.
Great but…. This is a great app super convenient and fun to navigate I just have a couple issues that I think keeps this app from being 100 percent helpful First the maps for all the parks are 2-3 years outdated so it makes finding new attraction difficult also wait times for the rides in the app might help as well also membership pints rewards should be accessible though the app and lastly more dining locations should be available for mobile ordering
Not happy. I’ve had the app for a while. I haven’t been able to see anything on it. I was able to see my pictures on it when I got them but now when I try to log into my pictures it backs out of the whole app. I’ve tried to update it but seeing as my phone updates automatically it’s done. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app and still it does the same thing. I hear the app is also suppose to give you the times to how long the lines are but it doesn’t do that either. It’s frustrating.
Terrible Functionality. This app doesn’t function well with additional season pass member benefits. For example, the One Shot passes. Why does one have to walk to another section of the park to have an employee add the passes to the app? This app also doesn’t integrate correctly with the existing Six Flags information already in their database. There should be no reason to have to enter data multiple times when name, address, phone numbers are already available from their main site. Can only hope with the Cedar Fair merger that Six Flags doesn’t denigrate the Cedar Fair product.
Non functional. The app wasnt working nor the website. On May 24th I purchased the ELITE membership and wasnt able to reserve my “free preferred parking” and I was charged an “upgrade fee” to be able to park preferred. What was the point of purchasing a membership to have to pay “upgrade fees”?. I couldnt reserve anything throughout my entire day due to the crash of the app. I was unable to set up my rewards page at this point I am unaware if I got my points for all the purchases I made on the 25th. The membership program not having agents to speak to on the phone is absolutely RIDICULOUS. Way to many inconveniences and I regret purchasing and will NOT do so again.
Just asking for help. I’ve always loved going to six flags as a kid. I haven’t been since I was 16 and now I’m going back at 28. I just became a diamond elite member and will be there on July 24th,2021. So far the app is great I bought everything I needed for me and my friend and we are set. The only thing I’d like to do is have the flash pass set up on the app. Probably in development I know how it is. But that’s all. Six flags I love you and you’re great.
Good Friday. The que for security was overwhelming but kept moving the ticket lines were long but also moving. Having an employee out in this area is very helpful just to answer questions. The best was the young lady at the kiosk where you buy the drink cups was so kind and helpful she looked up our meal plan benefits etc and answered our question. The employees in both lines were also nice and helpful. For a very busy day it was a positive experience looking forward to a great season.
Pastiest Version Crashes Upon Launch.... App was OK until latest two updates. Now crashes all upon launch and removed membership information. Uninstall and reinstall fixed it one version ago, but membership info wasn’t kept again. Now with the latest version it just crashes again even with reinstall. Appears to be a bug related to location tracking. Newest version also doesn’t allow for certain memberships to be added. It complains that only biometric memberships can be added. Which is stupid since the parks stopped doing that and have illuminated the finger prints after the Illinois law suit.
Mooseburger surprise. Walked up to moose burger and can’t order at food window, now strictly online ordering with app. After 20 min lesson in app download, and figuring out how to order food, like I was ordering staff, now started food order, and they ate preparing. Not sure how this is saving time for customer, but they were able to reduce staffing requirement down- let me guess… Covid Would have been nice to know this ahead of time. We are placing our own orders, next I guess we will help cook the burgers, or put our burger together, as next fun surprise 😬
Waste of a day and gas. We pulled the kids out of school, took the day off of work and filled up the gas tank for the 3 1/2 hour drive to Magic Mountain. We checked the app before we left the house and a couple times on the way and every time it said it was opened. To our surprise, we got there just to find out that they decided to close. So now we have 5 kids who missed school unnecessarily and two parents who not only paid for gas up there but also lost out on getting paid for a day of work and now nothing to do. We are so disappointed. I don’t know that we’ll try and plan this again. What a let down.
HORRIBLE LINES FOR WATER. It is over 100 degrees and the beverage lines require you to wait in ONE line for both food orders and beverage orders. There needs to be separate lines for those who need water or to refill the season pass bottle. We were in line for 40 min in the heat and yet the line only moved two people when i was forced to leave because it was too hot to wait in line. I asked the front worker to just fill up water and they refused to. There must be a better system in place for filling up water vs ordering food. Even mobile orders were not helpful as they still need to be in this long horrible line to even pick up their food. Fix this issue.
Live wait times?. Hi Developers, I just got a season pass and for those of us with no flash pass was hoping if you guys could include wait times so we can map out our day better. Also if you guys could throw in a feature for us to be able to map out our day that would be greatly appreciated. Big thanks :)
Worthless App. The app is just a link to site which is cumbersome to order tickets and constantly freezes. The map is difficult to use, doesn’t work half the time. Don’t buy picture pass if you want ride pics it has nothing to do with rides. When I entered the park I asked how one of my kids would use the photo Pass since I had to assign a name. She had no idea- because it’s useless. Also only 3 rides in app have wait time info although there are waits- so stupid. One thing the app should have is a map of seating in the shade- so far haven’t found much. People are sitting all over the ground.
Johnny Rockets is abysmal. Ordered a cheeseburger meal on the app and waited 30 minutes for it. When I picked it up, the kid behind the counter was staring at his phone for a few minutes before acknowledging me. He slowly sauntered around from the back and asked me if I was picking up. I told him my order number. He set the box down and I told him I needed a water. He mumbled something and walked away, still staring at his phone. He finally slowly walked back to me with my water, still staring at his phone. The food was cold. There was no ketchup or straws in sight. Worst $20 have ever spent! Six Flags should be ashamed
Meal plan rule change. I am very disappointed to find out the annual 4 meal plan I purchased has a change of rules from last year. Last year my child could exchange a meal for a snack. Instead of purchasing a burger and fries she could pick an ice cream. (Which is a cheaper option.) This year they are not allowing the option. I also inquired about purchasing a yearly snack package. I was informed that that is not an option at this time. Please reconsider this new policy. It makes a huge difference for my child’s enjoyment while at the park.
Bad but good. I use this app all the time. But when i go to a park. It never saves. So thats bad. But i can check out the wait times so thats good. But then i see wait times are very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very long. So thats bad. I check the websites so i just have to search park map instead of go to map button so thats very bad. But then i see food stands so thats very very very good
Poor food service. We order the food in advance through the app and when i arrived to pick up the food i had to wait 40 minutes just to reached the front. And the. Another 15 minutes at the counter. I do t see the point to order i Vance just to wait so long to get our food. Also i paid for the cabana rental and order the gold pass so we could have acces to food service and when we asked about our dinning pass. We were told that is not covered and that we need to order the food or stand i. Line. I love paying for a diamond pass and stand in instead of having fun
Good and bad at our current visit. Sunday 5pm.. Quincy at Ma’s 👍 Cat woman Crew 👍 Riddler crew? Can you walk any slower? Management? Why are so many food venues closed?? I don’t see any cleaning crews out. I know it’s a hard job but I really hate dirty tables and stepping on food. If there were supplies out I would gladly wipe off my own table when it’s busy like today. Inside of Johnny Rockets was messy too. Clearly when the turn over of tables is quick it’s hard to keep up. But that’s what people expect weather you’re Six Flags or Cedar Fair.
Memberships?. I do not like the fact that I have been a loyal season pass holder for 20+ years, and because I prefer to pay up front and not have another monthly bill that I don’t need, that I miss out on many perks that I cannot receive simply due to the new system. There should be some consideration for loyalty and for paying your money all at once. On the verge of losing me as a customer. I am here now and have to dish out an additional $90 just to go see some haunted houses. And that’s just 2 of my 7 person family. Hoping you come up with a way to reward loyalty.
Love the app! But points program needs work. I love using the app. I order all my food on there and love to get points from going on the rides and checking in. But using the points is a pain. They don’t actually register to your account until days later. It’s very inconvenient if you don’t know when you might be going and if you decide to go too late you won’t get to use your points.
