Not working. Bought the app, input a sample 1 week trip to London. It does nothing except say gathering weather data. A disappointing start!

Lifesaver for Frequent Traveler. Great reference to know I have everything before I leave! I don’t even go on little weekend trips without it anymore. It’s saved me from forgetting stuff more times than I can count.

Love It, Wish for One Major Feature. I love this app! Since I travel for business and vacations it is so helpful to just choose the appropriate activities. And having the custom activities with the premium is so helpful!! I made custom activities for many things but the best is for my dog: I include his list if he’s on the trip or don’t include his list if traveling alone. One major feature that I wish this app had was the ability to reorganize checklist items within the activities. They’re in a fixed order so I have to keep it as I add items rather than grouping certain clothing together or certain items together. If it had this I’d gladly give 5 stars!

Amazing App!. This is such a great app for keeping your packing stress to a minimum. It generates a basic list based off of your travel needs and you can easily make adjustments.

The ONLY thing …. I want to be able to do is move list items around or sort alphabetically. If that was an upgrade I would totally give this a fifth star.

One star only because I can’t give zero!. This app is not forgiving, has no way to edit item names. Waste of time and money.

PackPoint. Great app to make sure you don’t forget anything. Easily customizable which I really like.

App crashes when I try to use a TripIt trip. I upgraded to premium so I could use the TripIt feature, however whenever I try to create a packing list after selecting the activities it simply crashes and goes away. Not good investment.

Is this a scam, or dead app. Paid $2.99. App hangs on iPhone 15 Pro at the generating pack list stage. Asking for help leads to a site that says it’s not active. Took the payment for the app immediately, but this is non-functional.

Good app. I bought this app YEARS ago and I still use it as a starting point for packing. I wish it had more options for travel including pets but it’s a good starting point.

Dated, clunky. Looks like this was written for the iPhone 5 or 6… text entry and graphics are low quality, and there are minimal options and features for customization of your travel plans which generate the packing lists. Not worth the price of the app.

Useless. I can write on a piece of paper the things i need or buy a. Packing list pad of paper for the same price. This was not worth $2.99. It’s useless.

Not Helpful. This app should be free. There are too many features that don’t work. Cities can’t be found, then you can’t create a trip. The duration is not editable once you save. After you deselect an item you can’t retrieve it.

Great app. I have been using this app for a number of years and if used correctly the results are a trouble free holiday.

Sanity keeper!. It’s so nice to not have to handwrite or type a list! All you have to do is check off your activities, number of nights away and destination then hit start packing and voila…your entire packing list is generated with an easy check off system for each thing you pack as you go. Love this app!!!!

Not formate for ipad. I purchased this app on my ipad so I expected it to be formatted for ipad. It was not.

Fixed position! 🤔. Customization of lists is clunky and you can't drag items up and down in lists. Without this, you really may as well be using the iPhone native reminders app for list making. Until this is fixed--and also add a functionality of being able to add extra listed items to a pack list and drag items on a main list up and down also--I'll feel I paid too much too soon :( if you're thinking of buying ---I'd wait!

Yes, but. I agree that it needs a little tweaking to make it perfect, but you can make your own custom lists and activities. You can also modify the activities lists. My packing needs are pretty much always the same, so I use this to keep me from forgetting something. Which is why we make lists, no? This app does that for me. (I have added the items I ALWAYS need that weren't included, so now it serves me quite well)

Great for remembering the little things. It helps me track all the items that are easy to forget but will be missed!

Lost all my previous stored trips. As I was importing my upcoming trip from trip it, PackPoint kept quitting at the start. Had to purchase the premium version in order to open it. The last rev versions mentions that the bug I got was fixed but it is not true.

Waste of money. This app is a waste of money. It never finalized my lists or have me a way to track where I was in the process.

Easy to use. This app is very intuitive and great at suggesting items. It took no training or break in period to get the hang of using it. Would highly recommend!

Essential Application. PackPoint is one of those essential apps that is a must have for everyone who travels! Business or Vacation traveling is made simpler & more efficient.

Old Guy Traveler. Excellent app for packing.

Necessary for basic survival. Mode of this application allows you to configure each trip list according to your specific plans. Kids? Ski? Beach and Ski? Working while on a family vacation? International? Trips get complicated quickly, and I alway forget something. Now, domestic peace is restored, its a calm and orderly process. This has totally changed my life. A major usability improvement would be to support a filter to show only incomplete items. Otherwise, a complete endorsement.

Disappointing. I had such high hopes for this app and paid the $2.99 but once I put in the activities and it says that my packing list is being generated, it freezes and won’t go past that. If I have to pay for an app before I even use it, I expect it to work.

PackPoint Premium is Useless!. This app was recommended on Forbes travel newsletter -- but turns out, it is totally useless. Also, no contact information to get in touch with the company to provide feedback and ask for refund. Another reviewer said you are way ahead with pencil and paper & I agree.

Great app. Great packing lists, love that it includes biking and international. Easy to delete or add items as necessary. Wish it had a better single page useable printout format. Date field was tricky to add or change day.

A Real Godsend. For me, packing is a long ordeal that I absolutely hate. I am very excited to be using this app because it is making packing much easier when I don’t have to remember everything I’m supposed to take. The best thing is that it is customizable to your needs.

I upgraded to Premium. I just upgraded to premium and now have two apps. The old app with all my packing lists and trips and the new premium app with nothing in it! Surely the upgrade should just unlock the premium features in the old app and I should retain all my old customisations and data. Did I do something wrong?

Not great, only allows on Country. I actually downloaded it as I’m travelling. But as it only covers one country it’s useless to me as I always visit multiple countries on my trips

Not going well. Put in destination, date, activity but the app didn’t get past “packing list is being generated”. Terribly disappointing. Just wasted my money $$

Don't waste your money!. This app is no better than a written packing list. It is Americanised. It doesn't cater for cruises. In short it is useless.

Something is very wrong!. Bought the Premium app and it opens for a nanosecond and then crashes... I go back to the App Store and it indicates it needs to be opened! Same with free app - what is the issue?

Destination. Disappointing. Gives one destination in New Zealand. Dargaville is top of North Island - I am heading to bottom of South Island. Weather conditions quite different. No facility to edit.

Refuses to submit this review. Not easy to use - difficult to change cities/trips

Makes travel easy. This app is awesome and takes away the stress of getting ready to go on holidays.

Disappointing.. It is touted as an app for "serious travelers", yet you can only plan for trips lasting less than thirty days, and you cannot add multiple cities. It seems to be designed not so much for serious travelers, but for short-term vacationers. Very unhelpful.

A disappointing App. downloaded yesterday. Might be helpful to young first-time travellers but any experienced long-distance traveller should be able to do better just by taking a few minutes to write a list of what they took on their last similar trip. Making lists for each holiday type is a good idea for less organized folk but I doubt regular travelelrs would find this App much use.

Needs additional work. In essence the idea is great. Fantastic that it links to TripIt. Needs the ability to add additional travelers and other destinations in the one journey

Great App. This is the second time that Pack Point has helped me pack. I am very grateful not to forget items any more!

Not impressed. Doesn’t support multiple destinations and different activities in each. Also is very americanised. Like cell phone? Should support regional language differences. Waste of money.

What te heck. Cumbersome

Very basic. Bad trip-it integration (if you have multiple trips you're out of luck). Not optimized for new iPhones. Can't make a default list from your current trip. You're better off with a pen and paper.

Doesn’t allow new types of trips to be added and doesn’t create a packing list as promised. Sent an email for assistance with these issues and nobody got back to me. Thus, do not recommend this app.

great idea , bad execution. like the idea and even paid for the upgrade to link to TripIt, but every time I try and link to TripIt - the app crashes. either fix the app or send refund. #robbed

Both free and premium version keep crashing. Very unhappy.
