Yes, but. I agree that it needs a little tweaking to make it perfect, but you can make your own custom lists and activities. You can also modify the activities lists. My packing needs are pretty much always the same, so I use this to keep me from forgetting something. Which is why we make lists, no? This app does that for me. (I have added the items I ALWAYS need that weren't included, so now it serves me quite well)

Sanity keeper!. It’s so nice to not have to handwrite or type a list! All you have to do is check off your activities, number of nights away and destination then hit start packing and voila…your entire packing list is generated with an easy check off system for each thing you pack as you go. Love this app!!!!

Not customizable enough for the money. App is pretty, but you can't alphabetize once you add your items to a list. You also can't specify which bags the items will go into, and can't organize by person. For $3, I feel like the app should have more features and be more useful as opposed to just look good.

Lifesaver for Frequent Traveler. Great reference to know I have everything before I leave! I don’t even go on little weekend trips without it anymore. It’s saved me from forgetting stuff more times than I can count.

Not formate for ipad. I purchased this app on my ipad so I expected it to be formatted for ipad. It was not.

Amazing App!. This is such a great app for keeping your packing stress to a minimum. It generates a basic list based off of your travel needs and you can easily make adjustments.

The ONLY thing …. I want to be able to do is move list items around or sort alphabetically. If that was an upgrade I would totally give this a fifth star.

Love it but......... I wish lists and customized lists created on my iPhone would sync with my iPad. Evernote is ok but adds another step and changing items in Evernote does not sync with the app.

great idea , bad execution. like the idea and even paid for the upgrade to link to TripIt, but every time I try and link to TripIt - the app crashes. either fix the app or send refund. #robbed

PackPoint. Great app to make sure you don’t forget anything. Easily customizable which I really like.

A Real Godsend. For me, packing is a long ordeal that I absolutely hate. I am very excited to be using this app because it is making packing much easier when I don’t have to remember everything I’m supposed to take. The best thing is that it is customizable to your needs.

Great app. I have been using this app for a number of years and if used correctly the results are a trouble free holiday.

Fixed position! 🤔. Customization of lists is clunky and you can't drag items up and down in lists. Without this, you really may as well be using the iPhone native reminders app for list making. Until this is fixed--and also add a functionality of being able to add extra listed items to a pack list and drag items on a main list up and down also--I'll feel I paid too much too soon :( if you're thinking of buying ---I'd wait!

Necessary for basic survival. Mode of this application allows you to configure each trip list according to your specific plans. Kids? Ski? Beach and Ski? Working while on a family vacation? International? Trips get complicated quickly, and I alway forget something. Now, domestic peace is restored, its a calm and orderly process. This has totally changed my life. A major usability improvement would be to support a filter to show only incomplete items. Otherwise, a complete endorsement.

Good app. I bought this app YEARS ago and I still use it as a starting point for packing. I wish it had more options for travel including pets but it’s a good starting point.

Not very useful.. This app seems to be a repeat of all the other mediocre packing apps. It makes list but only for one person. The activity listed is limited. No activity for sight seeing on a travel app, hmmm? Wish I had not purchased it. Didn't see the trail one.

Not Helpful. This app should be free. There are too many features that don’t work. Cities can’t be found, then you can’t create a trip. The duration is not editable once you save. After you deselect an item you can’t retrieve it.

Location. Explain to me why the hell this app should force someone to select a valid city in order to set a location rather than let me input any text I want as a location? I want to put the name of a state park I plan on camping at as where I'm going, not be forced to select the nearest town near the state park?? If I want to put "grandma's house" as to where I'm going and create a packing list of what I plan taking when I go visit, I should be able to that as my "where to". STUPID! To force someone to set an actual town as a "where to" seems like your tracking me. And why the hell does this app need to ask if I'm male or female unless your tracking that data too? What does my gender have to do with packing lists. 1 star for ignorance!!

PackPoint Premium is Useless!. This app was recommended on Forbes travel newsletter -- but turns out, it is totally useless. Also, no contact information to get in touch with the company to provide feedback and ask for refund. Another reviewer said you are way ahead with pencil and paper & I agree.

Needs to pack some punch. App is on the right track, but too basic for the money. Need to fix some bugs, add ability to pack for kids, pets, senior family member, etc. Ability to reorder lists to match packing style, is a necessity. The ability to identify which suitcase/bag the items will be packed in would start to make this a truly useful app - then, upon arrival, could search to find which bag has the item(s) I need!

Useless. I can write on a piece of paper the things i need or buy a. Packing list pad of paper for the same price. This was not worth $2.99. It’s useless.

Waste of money. This app is a waste of money. It never finalized my lists or have me a way to track where I was in the process.

Disappointing. I had such high hopes for this app and paid the $2.99 but once I put in the activities and it says that my packing list is being generated, it freezes and won’t go past that. If I have to pay for an app before I even use it, I expect it to work.

Love It, Wish for One Major Feature. I love this app! Since I travel for business and vacations it is so helpful to just choose the appropriate activities. And having the custom activities with the premium is so helpful!! I made custom activities for many things but the best is for my dog: I include his list if he’s on the trip or don’t include his list if traveling alone. One major feature that I wish this app had was the ability to reorganize checklist items within the activities. They’re in a fixed order so I have to keep it as I add items rather than grouping certain clothing together or certain items together. If it had this I’d gladly give 5 stars!

Don't waste your money!. This app is no better than a written packing list. It is Americanised. It doesn't cater for cruises. In short it is useless.

Something is very wrong!. Bought the Premium app and it opens for a nanosecond and then crashes... I go back to the App Store and it indicates it needs to be opened! Same with free app - what is the issue?

This app is useless. Qantas suggested this app. It is useless and expensive. A con. Don't get.

Disappointing.. It is touted as an app for "serious travelers", yet you can only plan for trips lasting less than thirty days, and you cannot add multiple cities. It seems to be designed not so much for serious travelers, but for short-term vacationers. Very unhelpful.

Needs additional work. In essence the idea is great. Fantastic that it links to TripIt. Needs the ability to add additional travelers and other destinations in the one journey

A disappointing App. downloaded yesterday. Might be helpful to young first-time travellers but any experienced long-distance traveller should be able to do better just by taking a few minutes to write a list of what they took on their last similar trip. Making lists for each holiday type is a good idea for less organized folk but I doubt regular travelelrs would find this App much use.

Packpoint. Waste of money. Terrible

Very basic. Bad trip-it integration (if you have multiple trips you're out of luck). Not optimized for new iPhones. Can't make a default list from your current trip. You're better off with a pen and paper.
