Passengers can follow their trip on a card-by-card basis in the app. Each phase in the trip is represented as a card in a timeline of the whole journey. Just tap on the cards and follow the instructions to manage the trip, check in for the flight, display the boarding pass and get departure and arrival information. You can also book your flights via the app.

Treatment of my luggage. I flown allegiant two times my first time was not a very good experience and the second time was even worse besides the seats being uncomfortable they call themselves a discount airline they charge you for everything they charge me for my luggage and then they charge me again because they said my luggage was overweight when I had already had my luggage weight edit meta-criteria of their luggage requirements When I reach my destination retrieve my luggage I noticed that my luggage and its contents or damaged I called customer service they had no per se customer service the lady was so rude I did not care about my issues she said I could report this online I’ve yet to find a place to report this beware do not fly allegiant 60 Minutes was right this is not a discount airline . This is a discount service airline.
Worst agency ever. This is the worst company to fly with, the worst website, and the worst app I have even dealt with. It may be more affordable but what your paying for with other companies is to not have to deal with risks. I couldn’t change my moms flight or get a refund on it when her husband passed away because I was within the 24 hours of her flight. And now that I have plenty of the ahead of her flight for a different trip, I cant change the date of her flight through any browser or app or device despite it showing there are still seats available. And lastly there have been many times where I have to come in multiple days so that I can purchase a ticket because 80% of the time there is an error on the site or the app. Don’t ever go with Allegiant if you can go with another company. It’s not worth the time, and money, and stress.
Unacceptable. I am a very understanding consumer. Last year I had to cancel a vacation as I’m sure many people did. We reschedule for the same dates this year so I took the flight voucher. I have been trying to contact Allegiant since January to rebook my flight. Call their customer service line, get a busy signal. Multiple emails sent to their customer service email (for fastest response) and got nothing more than the automated reply. Tried to go to the airport after work, sorry, they have left for the day as their last flight has boarded. What does this all have to do with the app? Well I took the flight voucher in the app. There is now no record of it. I will never be flying Allegiant again.
This is an app rating site not service or price. Not sure why almost all the 1 star reviews don’t regard the app but it’s ok, no bugs but a little bit limited in the search A) not being able to use airport codes instead it’s just the letters so San Diego you have to scroll to the bottom but can’t on the app so you have to type it out B) can’t search by destination, it assumes you know where you are starting from but as a company that’s all about the destination you should be able to search easier what option are to fly into there not just by searching flying out. Also don’t like how prices are low but even lower on other sites
Allegiant app. Have not been able to add my trip to the Allegiant app for weeks. Was able to add my daughter’s trip but she wasn’t able to add it in the app on her phone. Talked with Allegiant customer service for a 1/2 hour day before trip and that didn’t solve the issue. Ticket agent also looked when we had to get the boarding pass reprinted. To no avail. Had previously tried, several times, deleting and reinstalling the app, turning phone off and on, making sure current IOS was installed, Turing off VPN, still to no avail. Can I still use the website to check-in and view boarding pass? Yes, absolutely but that defeats the purpose and convenience of the app, right?
This app is HORRIBLE!!!. Honestly I feel like it’s a hustle for 5 more dollars. That’s the cost to print your pass at the airport. No issues with the app up until it’s time to check in then all of a sudden I’m not eligible for check-in via the app. So I checked in online. Try and pull my trip up to see my boarding pass and nothing but errors to try again later. I’ve been trying for an hour. I know airlines (all of them) do not truly care about their passengers. They profit off of “calculated misery” which means they purposely do things to make you uncomfortable or to inconvenience you to make you pay more. Like a ticket isn’t expensive enough as it is. Profit over people gotta love it.
Allegiant. This company is not the best sadly… All of my only 2 times flying with them both times met with first delays . Also when it comes to the agents they are rude. Even when getting on other airlines they greet you. You would be getting off great if they even look your way. Today the check in lady was very rude to an elderly in a wheelchair. Also I was given attitude all because I didn’t check my 1 bag in before she started calling zones. Really will make it my goal to never fly again with this company. They don’t even have a office at this airport. The location is Harrisburg International Airport. I also made a police report because while talking about my issue to my wife she started laughing so I asked what’s funny and she then commented. “Who you talking to because you’re won’t let you on this flight” and proceeded to call the police. Ruined my experience and had cops come and make a scene only for them to tell me don’t worry about it.
Boarding pass on phone!. I am also having a hard time getting my return boarding pass on my phone app. I had no problem getting it for the flight out. I’m new at this and it’s frustrating. It takes me to the app to check-in but when I go to enter my information it says that it no longer exist. I have an e-mail from Allegiant saying it’s time to check-in and it had my information with a couple options to get my boarding pass but again when I try, it’s not allowing me to do it on my phone. I guess I’ll have to print one if I want to get home.🤷♀️😡
Solid app so far!. This is my first time flying Allegiant and so far I’m really impressed. Currently I’m waiting for my flight to board, but the check-in process was really easy. In fact, the only line I had to wait in was the one at security. I checked in and dropped my bag off by myself. Most of the negative reviews I’ve read here had more to do with the airline than the app. And if those people took the time to read their policies BEFORE they made it to the airport to check-in they probably would have seen that they charge for every little thing, but my flight to Asheville was $38!!!! How can you beat that? And the two employees I’ve encountered so far were very friendly. So give the airline a chance, just do your homework beforehand. As for the app, it works quite well. I would however recommend two improvements. One, have the ability to add your boarding pass to Apple Passbook. (That should absolutely be a function these days) Two, I don’t see where it shows you which gate your plane is boarding through. That would be extremely helpful as well. Other than that, I like it very much. Kudos!
Will not let me view boarding pass. The app directs me to the website when trying to add my boarding pass. The website states that you can add the boarding pass on the app but it keeps redirecting you online. The links on the website redirect you to a site to buy the domains for Allegiant Air. How is it that I have to add my boarding pass on the app but it directs me to a website that does not work? Has anyone been made aware of the app making it impossible to view your boarding pass? At this point my only option is getting it printed out in person at the airport which will cost money and likely take hours if everyone else is facing the same issue. This seems like a huge oversight that has been ongoing for months that nobody has bothered correcting.
Not a fan…app isn’t functioning at the same level it had in years prior…. I have been a long-time Allegiant traveler, and in the last several months the app has not functioned in a way that allows the user to view the flight prices or details until you accept all portions with zero information provided. Then when you click to the final page to view flight details, you see the costs and overall completed flight itinerary BEFORE proceeding to the payment screen. I have resorted to using the website, which is equally inconvenient. Please fix this app and restore it to its former glory. One star rating from months and months of frustration and no updates of any significance.
KTN deleted with new update. A new app update deleted my known traveler number, and it will not let me re-add it. It also changed my alternate phone number and it will not let me correct it. Very frustrating. Now I need to arrive at the airport early for my upcoming trip in order to stand in line at a desk and tell them my known traveler number. I deleted the app, reinstalled the app, tried online, tried the Allegiant website, try it on my phone, tried on a laptop. Tried 100 times - it will not take my known traveler number for my upcoming flight. It finally - after many attempts - let me re-add my known traveler number to my profile itself. But negatory on my upcoming trip. What did you do to your app?
Can’t print boarding pass on APP. I tried every which way I could being able to add my boarding, pass to my phone, and there was no way of getting it done. When I got to the Pittsburgh airport, everybody in line had paper boarding passes printed as well as I did. Nobody could hardly do it except three other people out of over 100 people that were on that flight. On returning when I tried to add it again to my phone from the app, my name, and the checkmark next to it was grayed out and could not tap it and then it would add it to my phone the same way it happened when I tried to do it on the beginning of the trip. Embarrassingly I had to ask the hotel I was staying at The. Please print my boarding pass for me so I could leave. It is a huge inconvenience and I called Allegiant left a message for them to return to me with how to fix this or how they can fix this. Nobody responded. Typical.
App doesn’t work. I could not use the app to download my flight. Had to go to the airport and have them print boarding passes. Used to work. I have also attempted to change an upcoming flight dates and bought the flex option…can’t make change on line. Keeps saying oops something went wrong. Went online to chat support, waited 15 minutes to hear that the chat agent can’t make change. Called the customer representative line 3 times over the last day - waited 30 minutes hung up, 20 minutes hung up, then 15 minutes hung up. Not good. Your process is almost suggesting my only way to change is to cancel the trip and book with another airline. Losing money and a good customer.
App. Keep in mind I fly with this airline at least 3 times a month round trip. The app is terrible! How can you be this big of a company and have an app with this many problems. I have to sign in every time, it never remembers my TKN, and now when I book a flight I have to go back in and add the flight to my trips in order to see it. Also, I have to add my payment info every time. Flights are cheap and that is great! Honestly though, if it wasn’t for the price I would not put up with all the negative of this airline. They have a ton of rude people that work for them too. It’s mostly the gate people though. I like the actual people on the plane. If I were to rate the airline itself, I would say 3 stars all round. But, this rating is for just the app.
Rude checkin girl. I have been flying Allegiant for 13 years. This is back and forth from Florida to Harrisburg since 2012. I had a purse that hangs around my neck the same purse for 13 years and I have never had a checkin tell me I had to put the small purse in my backpack which was already full. I use a wheelchair to and from the gate. I have a bad back bad knees and PMR which is a disease of the soft tissue in all of the body making it difficult to move around. I was told very rudely that I could pay $75 or find a way to put it in my personal item. I was not told in a kind manner by a rude sarcastic woman I also have sleep Apnea so I carry my machine in a bag with a few other things. I was told I could not put in the apnea bag because that is strictly for electronics. Have the ruled changed in 13 years because I have never had such nasty people on Allegiant before. I fly to many places and was always loyal to Allegiant if they had a flight going my way. I love the staff of every trip and have had nothing but friendly courteous people to deal with. My flight from Harrisburg to Sarasota was the exception. And the only time I was treated this way. I need to know why one person in all those years of using your service required this. All staff should be trained the same way so this doesn’t happen again. Please send me the baggage travel rules. Thanks. Susan M Koehler Sun City Center FL
USE ANOTHER AIRLINE. If for any reason you think you need to call an Allegiant representative do not book with them. The staff at the airports are always rude! Apparently the CEO only hires 20 on-call representatives to represent tens of thousands of daily customers! I have flown them at least 6 times and the 6th was the last time. Every time I thought that maybe the service would be better but they were awful every time. This last time we booked a flight & hotel through them, they informed us if the hotel isn’t available at the time of arrival that they would move us to a comparable hotel. They moved us to a joke of a hotel compared to the original one we purchased. We are now 5 days away from our flight and the 6 of us have non stop tried calling customer service. All of us, multiple times, on 2 hour holds to just get disconnected. I am SO FED UP!!!!!
Terrible service right now!. The last two months my mobile app and the phone number for Allegiant have been totally useless. When you reach out to customer service by email they tell you to get triplex or CALL customer service which is not answered and if you leave a message, no one calls you back. I had to “lose” a trip because I needed to reschedule and it was 100% impossible. I even drove to the local airport only to be told I’d have to come back another day. They only did it for two hours two days a week. My flight was scheduled to fly one day before the next “opening” to change. Tripflex would not have helped because the mobile app wouldn’t allow changes (couldn’t access itinerary). I fly a couple times a month. The app needs work and customer service needs to quit telling people to call customer service. Or actually have someone answer the phones.
Fix the app. Can the app be fixed to check-in already? Have the developers tried unplugging it and plugging it back in? Shake the server? Toggle the on/off switch? It costs $5 to pay at the counter to check in via the website or check in at the counter. Either way, I will have to go to the counter in either scenario. The less people talking the better. The whole point of the app is to make the process easier. Now I have to go earlier than the already two hours early to stand in and talk with a usually rude contracted gate person who works off commission trying to dime you and talk to you like you’re a toddler (SRQ). Can’t wait to stand in line like it’s the 90s to check-in and get a paper ticket. Get it together, Allegaint.
Love flying with them. I have flown with them several times now, we my extended family and I have had only one issue and that was when they changed the luggage policy for military wife's or mates. They have always been helpful and understanding with my special needs sons. Especially the very first time taking them on an airplane. For me that is VERY, VERY important. The fares are priced well, I love how small my airport is so things don't get even more overwhelming, I used my phone app for check in, boarding passes and booking.
Rarely fully functional. The APP has become progressively worse. I fly Allegiant every one to two months and book flights using the APP. I can book the flights through the APP no problem; it is check-in that is problematic. The APP errors on check-in or on seat selection. I do try this APP on both phone and iPad. Usually I have to go to the web site to check-in there. Afterwards the APP will show my check-in and I do get the electronic boarding pass. Today, unfortunately, that doesn’t work either. Flight is tomorrow and APP, website, and chat are all non functioning. I have now been on hold (telephone) for an hour and a half. I have deleted and reinstalled APP numerous times along with restating. Fingers are crossed that Allegiant gets there act together after seeing all these poor reviews.
UGRADE YOUR APP DEVELOPER. This app is nonfunctional. When I select “My Account” on the app it just launches the browser on phone for me to log in. Doesn’t take you back to the app after being logged in. If you go back to the app and hit “My Account” again it just starts the process all over again and takes you to the browser. So basically your app is shortcut to the browser, therefore, nonfunctional hot GARBAGE. This has been the case for the past 3 years that I’ve been a card holder with you guys. You can clearly see this same kind of complaints on the reviews over and over again for YEARS, so clearly you guys could care less about your customers satisfaction. Good to know. You’re making Spirit look good right about now..
Delay. Delay. Delay.. Honestly, I should give this app five stars. All updates of your delayed flight(and I promise you, you will have a flight delay with Allegiant) will get to you in real time. For example at 4PM, sitting in the plane that was supposed to be taking off at 3:07PM, the entire plane who had the app received the notification that our flight was delayed until 5PM. Everyone got the notification at the same time and then the crew asked us to de-plane. While sitting outside the gate, we all then got the notification that our gate ALSO changed. So, if you do decide to fly this disaster of an airline, I would recommend the app, so you can at least get some type of consistent notification about your delayed flight. But please, please, please choose another airline. Trust me, the price is good but it is soooo not worth it.
The flights are great, the app is tragic.. In fairness to this company every aspect of the actual flight process and crew has always been good. Sure there are changes and delays but that’s pretty much inevitable so I don’t thing anything of it or count it against them. So as a company to fly with truly, five stars. This app on the other hand…… Useless. Seriously I don’t feel like I’m asking for a lot here, but when delays in departure times occur, or a gate is changed, UPDATE THE APP!!! Come on people this should be your first course of action. Instead thanks to this useless bit of software if anything gets switched up at any point, you had best be paying attention because they are not going to notify you or even update the app in any way to reflect these changes. Frankly if the app can’t provide genuinely fundamental information such as this, well then really what good is it even doing?
Unable to print boarding pass!. Unable to check into flight or print my boarding pass. Had to look up the phone number using the Internet because the phone number is not listed in the app anywhere to reach allegiant. When I called allegiant, I was told that my ticket was stuck in standby because I hadn’t paid some kind of a fee that was at the bottom of the app when I purchased my ticket??? I’m still going to check on this because I think I got ripped off was $149. But after I paid that fee, then they released my ticket and gave me a seat assignment over the phone which then I checked and I had a seat assignment on the app. This is just ridiculous. They need to get things fixed.
Not user friendly at all. I had my flights booked for a while and no problems with mobile check in and getting my boarding pass the first flight. My returning flight however the app said I was ineligible for mobile check in. I’d already paid for a seat and carry on. So I went to my emails and checked in online, not using the app. Still after getting checked in the app continued to say ineligible for mobile check in. So I deleted and app and reinstalled it but the only was that it will download now is if I put in my debit card info?? I already paid, I just want my mobile boarding pass and not the screen shot of the paper one, yes I know it’ll work fine, but what’s the point of the app at all if it just brings you in circles and you gotta do it the old school way anyway? If I could give less than one star I would.
App seems ok. Allegiant is horrible.. Bad news, we arrived more than two hours early because of TSA being behind. Bad news, you can’t check a bag more than two hours early, even with TSA running slow and a little over an hour being the normal time to expect. Odd choice. Good news, they’ll make an exception and check our bags early and the guy has room to hold on to them. Bad news. Our flight was bumped back to 216pm. Good news. It was moved forward again and will depart at 132p. Bad news, our plane departed according to the screens. Even though the app and screen still show the same gate and nothing has happened and dozens of us are still waiting. Good news, our plane didn’t depart but was actually bumped back again. We’re not sure how long. Good news, it’ll be boarding no later than 202pm. Five minutes later, Bad news, it’s delayed till 330 pm or later. Bad news, they have no way to confirm our luggage is waiting for the proper flight. Bad news, the lady at the counter thinks I’m dumb for checking a bag and despite my being calm and friendly, talked down to me repeatedly. Hopefully her resume doesn’t include “works well under stress.” Good news, I only have to fly with allegiant one more flight. Ever.
Ineligible for mobile check in on the return leg of a round trip. Flying home over the busy Thanksgiving weekend and I can’t do mobile checkin for my flight home - the app displays the message that I am ineligible for mobile checkin and to contact customer service. If you have flown on Allegiant you will know that there is no way to do this (mobile chat does not work and if you try to call them you will never get through to speak to someone) until you get to the airport where there is a $5 charge - per passenger - to print a boarding pass. This app is sketchy on a good day - it pops you out to the website but this time I had to sign on again and the login button was dead. I had to print a paper boarding pass - via my work Windows laptop - because from my iPhone and iPad browsers the login button was dead.
PLEASE fix your application. As a frequent flyer with Allegiant, I commend most aspects of the airline’s low cost operation. The newest Allegiant application is possibly the most frustrating experience in flying any airline I’ve ever had!!! What is the deal? Please don’t tell me again to delete and download the app. That doesn’t work for me and many others I’ve stood in line with to get checked in and a boarding pass from a very overworked agent. Those of us who fly without checked luggage have really reached our limit of patience. Surely your IT department can get this figured out. If not, hire a firm that can. Is there more than a software glitch at work here? There is NO excuse for this extended poor performance ( I mean months!). Oh, and is the “taken” nickname a ploy to keep these reviews off the site?
Great! But where’s my gate?. This app and allegiant have been pretty convenient for me so far, and booking and everything else has been a breeze. But a while back when i first used allegiant, i couldn’t find my gate, I thought it was just me or the information just being hard to find, but recently I had a friend fly with allegiant and they had to ask someone where their gate was since the information was not presented in the app. Even the attendant helping my friend said that they (as in the attendants) put in the gate number but the app doesn’t show/update it. Not a huge thing… but just agitating.
Good app!. Seems most of these reviews are about the airline and not the app. The app works well for the entire process, from searching and purchasing the flight to checking in the day before and using your boarding pass through the app (instead of having to use a paper pass). As far as the airline, I mean, you get what you pay for. The flights are cheap and everything is extra, but we personally have never had any issues. We did have a delayed flight once, but I’ve had delayed flights on American, United and Delta also. I mean, it happens with any airline.
Up-sell me some more please. As a frequent flyer on three major airlines (this one not included), I can say with a high level of confidence that this App is the most cumbersome and non-user-experience-friendly I have used. Repeating pop ups to up-sell everything a traditional airline includes. I get it - Allegiant is a discount carrier, but wow. The time to book a flight using this app and navigating all the offers and up-sells is long and aggravating. If a person selects normal options such as a carryon the fare bumps right up against the majors. I guess If a person wants to fly into some smaller markets where other carriers don’t go this airline can make sense, but it does not change the user experience navigating a cumbersome app. C’mon Allegiant marketing and app development team, try using a full service airline’s app and compare for yourself.
Alligiant. These are the rudest people and flight attendants I have ever come across. I am a gold member with delta who also have rude people but at least they make up for it by being on time and having comfortable seats. I paid an extra 50$ to sit up front but then our flight was cancelled and on the next flight I was put in the back of the plane. I explained that I paid an extra 50$ or $100 both ways and they told me it’s not transferable. What?? You cancelled the flight not me. Yeah don’t waste your money because you are not saving anything. Also I can’t even begin to tell you how bad customer service is or lack of and this ridiculous app. Save yourself the stress go delta or American.
App support doesn’t exist. I never had a problem with the app until I had to reset my password to meet new security requirements. I did, but then was redirected to Allways. I didn’t even know what this was. Is it a different account from myAllegiant???? I tried my new password- didn’t work. Tried to set a password as a new member- said that email already associated with an account?!?! Now I’m totally confused and can’t log in to my account from the app, but it showed on the website that I was already logged in?!?! I can’t find support for resolving this issue anyplace!!! I already used forgot password. It didn’t work!!! Frustrating!!!
App not functioning. I’ve been using this app for a while now, but recently, I’ve encountered serious problems that have significantly hampered my travel experience. Firstly, the app no longer displays my upcoming trips. This is a major inconvenience, especially for frequent travelers like myself who rely on the app to keep track of their travel schedules. Additionally, the check-in feature has become non-functional. Being unable to check in through the app is more than just an inconvenience; it disrupts the whole process of preparing for a flight, especially when I’m on the go. The most critical issue, however, is the inability to download mobile boarding passes. This has forced me to revert to printing physical boarding passes, which is not only less environmentally friendly but also a step backward in terms of technological convenience. Overall, these issues have significantly degraded my experience with the app. I hope the developers address these problems promptly to restore the app’s functionality and reliability, which are crucial for any travel-related application.
Flights are great! App does not work. I’ve been flying Allegiant Airlines for about 3 years now. I fly about 3-5 round trips a year. No problems with flights other than a few weather related cancellations. The rating would be 5 stars if not for issues with the app. My problem is with the Allegiant App. It will not let me log in to my account. I have no trouble logging in on a computer or through the browser on my iPad. I’ve purchased my flights from both. But to log into my account on the iPhone app I keep getting a warning: “The provided authentication was invalid.” I’ve tried resetting my password from the computer and from my phone. I’m always able to log into my account from the computer but never from the phone. Not sure why, but it’s frustrating. Craig Ewing
Flight Friday morning, May 17. I missed my flight Friday, May 17 at 8 AM due to an oversight on my part of setting my alarm accidentally an hour later than I should have. Gate closed at 7:45 and I got there at 7:46. I was impressed that Carla at the gate called my number to see if I was coming. I would have made it but got a few red lights on the way and TSA takes its toll on timing. I was grateful for the help Eduardo gave me as it was a miracle to make the next 10 AM flight and not have to cost me much money being a senior citizen, widow budget Queen! LOL. He went the 2nd mile for me and was very empathetic, sympathetic, and understanding. If not for him that miracle would not have happened. I loved his attitude of “let’s see what we can do”, that gave me hope. I was never so grateful that I made that second flight! I was grateful for Trina‘s smile and desire to help and also Ronnie the flight attendant, who was extremely helpful in getting my backpack above in the luggage holder. I love Allegiant air and I’m so grateful for the reasonable pricing so I may visit grandchildren on birthdays and special occasions more often!!! Thank you again! Lynn Richardson
First time flyers. I left Michigan to go to Florida to visit family. Just myself and my daughters went. It was a first time for all of us! Staff were amazing. They were awesome with the kids. My only complaint is leaving Punta gorda! It took over an hour to board and the kids were antsy. They missed home and the dogs! So they were ready. I wish there was a quicker way to go from one flight unloading to the next boarding. When we arrived in Punta gorda we unloaded on the back of the plane while others got off in the front! Which was awesome! So I’m wondering why they didn’t do that for the flight unloading before we departed. Other then that this will be our go to! Also maybe WiFi in the future would be helpful for entertaining little humans. 😂
The good, the bad, and the ugly. I rarely do reviews so that should tell you something. I have had this app downloaded before and it worked great. That is the good. Literally the day before my flight, the app stopped working. Kept saying the provided authentication was invalid. I had to login through my phones web browser to get my ticket. That’s the bad. In order to try and get it fixed, I got on Allegiant’s live chat and had to wait over 10 minutes to talk with someone. All they told me was to remove the app, restart my phone, and then re-download the app. I told them that I have done that multiple times. They then told me there is nothing else that they can do. That’s the ugly. Allegiant, I love the cost of your flights and I used to love the app. Fix your app and get better customer service.
Horrible. We were scheduled to land at 8:30 pm had bad weather a flew us south, a 4hr drive, sat on the tarmac 2 hrs. Had only 2 updates one stating we are going back to Mesa you can come back with us and pay for another flight but we cannot guarantee you a flight. Other option you can get out at this closed airport and fend for yourself. Staff rude to the elderly and teenagers on the flight. NEVER again. Called home at 1am and it was raining but nothing that a plane could not land. Also there was another airport 1.5 hr drive away but they chose a closed airport that was a 4 hr drive home. Poor management
Covient boarding pass but app not flexible. It's very convenient to use their boarding pass on the app. The prices can't beat. However, it would be nice if the app would let you have the option to choose the destination airport first. For example if I wanted to fly to Tampa FL (just an example), you have to pick your starting airport first and this limits the possibilities dates, locations etc... I have to try all the airports in 100 mile radius to find a flight to get me to Tampa in ideal dates and times. Takes a ton of time to search, they really could make it easier on the customer by letting you set the destination and seeing if an airport anywhere near you would support your travel plans. I'd be willing to drive 2-3hours somewhere if it gets me the perfect flight dates and times... I like a little whimsy and trying to see if it would be possible to take a long weekend trip somewhere different is near impossible with this app and website.
Aweful... PLEASE Don’t Fly w/ Them!. Worst airline I have EVER been on. EVER. I would NEVER recommend this awful airline to anyone. Awful, awful app, awful fees, awful service, awful management. If you couldn’t tell this airline is absolutely awful! They charged me an EXTRA $175 in luggage fees where it would’ve been free anywhere else. They even charge you to print your boarding pass! Who does that? Whoever runs this company is some piece of work. More like robbery than a business if you ask me. We could have upgraded our tickets with multiple other airlines but for the same price at Allegiant we got the worst seats on the plane and got screwed over with baggage fees and other fees. Please just avoid this company at all costs. It’s really not worth the awe full time you’ll have wherever you’re going. NEVER RIDE ALLEGIANT.
Works when it wants to work, pick the lesser of the evils.. Tried to checkin in the website and it gave me a error and told me to try again later. Downloaded the app, same thing happens. Have to repeat multiple times to checkin and eventually the request goes through and finally works. Funny, they will charge you if you checkin at the airport but then make the online checkin process half working, so ultimately your either wasting time for the app to work, or wait til you get to the airport and fight with the airline to waive the fee cause the app and website didn’t work, or just end up calling them and waiting on the phone forever. Regardless of what airline you have nowadays, they will nickel and dime you then make it a miserable process to use their service that you ultimately paid for. Who said technology was suppose to life easier.
App still needs work…. Had travel with this airline a few times but first time using the app, and really not very useful, had to call the airline a couple of times to get fees and other details about flights. It does let you check in, but won’t recognize in your account if there’s a trip, you need to manually add it. If changes need to be made it will let you do it by a step-step process, won’t let you skip to just add bags or seat just need to follow all steps and in the end it kick me off the app over 5 times, so had to again call airline, as there were no online agents available (at least not when I tried). If they could update and let the customization be per item instead of a chain of steps would be better.

This airline is pretty bad for canceling within 24 hours of a flight. Would not recommend Allegiant to anyone booking a flight. They are cheaper but probably one of the worst airlines in existence. I have flow With Allegiant many times. However, rarely is there a flight that isn’t canceled or severely delayed. The last two flights have been completely canceled and the application does not give an option to rebook. Then You have to sit on hold fir an agent for 2 hours to change a flight that was cancelled and they cancel flights due to “weather” typically. Even though there isn’t any justification for what that means. Usually it’s because enough people haven’t booked that flight. It’s a bad airline anf the customer service is even worse.
Allegiant Airlines/No customer service. I got a travel voucher when COVID happened. I’ve tried to contact a real person to help me because the website doesn’t give you the option to use your voucher. I have tried to contact them by email and I just get a generic email back saying someone will contact me and they don’t. I have called their customer service phone number numerous times and that’s a total joke. I’ve waited on hold over 2 hours each and every time and no one ever answers. The recording tells you all about the rules for carrying weapons in great detail but nothing about using vouchers or anything of importance. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Allegiant has no customer service whatsoever. I am very very disappointed that they take our money and leave us hanging.
Zero stars. In good conscious, I cannot give this app any stars. But to submit a review, I must leave it at least one. Our flight was cancelled today, but we were able to check-in online, as well as at the airport only to be advised once at the gate the flight had been changed a week ago. The company also blamed the passengers for not checking their emails because we supposedly received information on September 29 via email regarding the change in flight status which was a lie. Now via email we are told our flight is at one time tomorrow but the app is saying something different. And no one picks up the phone when you call customer service. This airline and app are a JOKE! I guarantee they will not exist in the near future as customers will boycott this Arline-rightfully so!
Trip flex doesn’t work. It provides an error message and doesn’t allow flight to be changed. 2 hour hold with customer service and they also say they can’t change it. Customer service was very antagonizing and rude when it came to app support. Claimed “you are being sarcastic with me that is obvious”. Agent tried to claim trip flex terms on their website stated I had to make the change within 7 days. Staring at the website, it shows “modify itinerary once up to 1 hour before flight”. So please be aware that the app will not show or offer the same thing as the website claims and you will not be able to change your trip. Customer service will make rude snide comments toward you as well.
Horrible service. My wife and I are not regular flyers. In total we have flown maybe 4 times combined. Their website and app did not have easily accessible information on what to do with pets. We had seen people take small dogs on the plane and assumed that they were considered personal items. We called and waited for over an hour with no avail to talk to someone. Their voice machine had NO indication of where to go to find information on animals, and their website and app did not have easily accessible information on it either. When we got to the airport, the dog was in her case, we thought the front desk lady had seen it, I took her out of her case to walk through security, put her back in and we got on the plane. After we were seated, and about to take off, the stopped the flight, forced me off the plane and I had to pay 100 dollars BOTH WAYS, for a fee we didn’t realize existed. We looked for over 30 minutes on their site and it had no indication of their policies on animals. Again, we are not experienced flyers and the treatment we received from Allegiant was abhorrent. I called again waiting over an Hour and 5 minutes without anyone answering. I the. Facebooked messaged them and that was zero help. We would have been loyal customers seeing how my wife’s family is from AZ, but I don’t see ya continuing a relationship with them as is. Definitely not worth it to go through what we did. Would not recommend to anyone who can afford better and decent quality services.

Works great for managing itinerary. I was surprised I found the app designed well and easy to use for managing my bookings, checking in and keeping my boarding pass handy. Found it great for what it does.
Cancelled??. How the hell does Allegiant cancel our flight on the morning of our return flight home??? I checked in yesterday, and everything was fine.
Issues checking in. Won’t recognize confirmation number getting a 1497R error(?) and a 502 error I checked with Allegiant staff and they could not rectify. There is a $5 charge for not having a boarding pass and since the app isn’t allowing a add or check in I’m at a loss

Unable to check in online. I was unable to check in online or pay my baggage fee. When I arrived they made me pay full price. I ran into the same issue on my return flight. So, I called and they informed me it’d be free baggage and there was nothing noted on my account and I still had to pay full price again on the return.

Worst app ever used. This is without question the worst app I have ever used. Does not allow log in at least 50% of the time. Booked flights don’t remain under My Trips and need to be added again and again. Won’t allow Check In (as one or more members ineligible), however checks in easily online. Unable to download boarding passes, so resorting to printing like it’s the 90s. The list goes on and on.
Full of ads - Harv to navigate. Could not download boarding pass (cants use Apple Wallet) could only “print” to PDF file. I had to pay $5 at airport to print a boarding pass !

SCAMMERS, BANDITS. You want to get robbed? Fly with allegiant. They will not provide the service you pay for + they will never answer you when you need assistance. They cancel flight all the time and you can't reschedule because their website will be down for maintenance at the moment you need to reschedule (but it will work easily with Hopper) I don't understand why that company is allowed to do business... CEO probably a terrible incompetent top down leader. Now the only thing that's left is sharing my experience everywhere I can, so I can prevent fraud.

App stopped working!!!. My husband and I both experienced the app no longer working on our phones. We could not add or update trip information therefore could not check in and receive electronic boarding passes. I updated it, deleted it and tried to re-install but nothing worked. We now have to call and get an agent to waive our boarding pass fees when we travel, which of course takes forever! Crappy app!
Terrible Airline app!. This app doesn't compare to any other airline apps I have used. Thought I was checked in and had my boarding pass but when I got to the airport the app wouldn't open up my boarding pass!! I ended up missing my flight because the ticketing agent said I was too late to get them to print one off for me. Cause me MAJOR grief. Don't rely on the app alone for your flight plans with Allegiant.

Terrible App. I have never in my life reviewed an app, but I felt this was needed. This is the worst app I have ever used in my life. Constantly crashes, and trying to book a flight can take hours, when it should only take minutes.

Quick and convenient. It was really easy to use and the built-in boarding pass was great for getting through the airport easily. I don’t know why anyone would print out a boarding pass ever again.
App worked well-but system is flawed IMO. The app worked really well....but I’m not sure how they book people’s seats? I’m assuming just randomly filling them? You would think “they” would know passengers ages & who they are travelling with as per bookings to book seats! We had a toddler (and 2 parents) and their policy is car seats go in the window seats and also won’t be separated from parents. “They” had the toddler in an aisle seat with one parent and the other parent elsewhere. I had to wait on hold for 73mins while calling long-distance just so they could correct their seating arrangements. I fly frequently and have always selected my own seats from the available seats at check in (online and in person),so I don’t know why Allegiant selects the for you (if you haven’t paid extra).

Won’t accept payment. This app, the website on the phone and desktop will not allow booking. This is a well documented issue on Facebook and other forums where customers have posted. I experienced this last month and ended up calling to book. Not only did I wait on hold for 2 hours, they didn’t acknowledge that this was a problem. The agent was kind enough to waive the extra booking fees they charge when booking on line, but was unable to add my loyalty number or use loyalty dollars to offset charges. I literally hate this frustrating app.
CAUTION: Invalidating Boarding Passes. I checked in for my flight about 12 hours before departure and got my boarding pass. Without any notification, Allegiant invalidated my boarding pass, which made it so I could not get past TSA and get on the plane. Because I had already received a boarding pass, Allegiant would not issue another one even though they had invalidated the first one. I waited for hours outside the gate fighting with Allegiant customer service reps before the plane finally took off without me. I was stuck for nearly a week before there was another flight out.
Could not check in online. Attempted to check in on the mobile app for 20 plus hours kept saying unable to check in at this time, try back again in a few moments. Day of travel got to airport, still couldn’t check in. By the time we got to the gate was told check in closed no way to get on that flight next available flight was the next day called customer service, waited an hour and 20 minutes to be attended to. Long story short, gave me a credit voucher for just over half the costs of the tickets.
App is so wonky (log in issues). This app is so janky. The "my account" tab automatically redirects you out of the app to the internet browser. From there I sign in, but it doesn't redirect back to the app. When I manually return to the app, it doesn't register that I signed in on the internet and there's no way to refresh the app. If I finally do get logged in, at some point it will randomly sign me out again and I will repeat the same annoying process. It's 2024, can you guys get a functioning app that logs in like everyone else?
Too many problems. The flight data takes too long to populate when changing flights during booking…leaving the information from the prior flight for 30 seconds or more. It often can’t load saved passengers when booking a ticket. During check-in, it gives the option to change your luggage, flight date, etc. but then hangs and doesn’t allow the change. I’m a long time user and my experience with this app gets worse with each update.
Terrible. Long story short, after getting worse and worse, this app is now TERRIBLE. An airline app should let you book, check-in, manage, pay, and get information about flights all from one place. Now, it’s all piecemeal. Want to see your account? Clicking that logo opens up an internet explorer and brings you to the allegiant website. Want to check the FAQ? Same thing. Booked a flight and want to see it in the app? It’s not there … because you can’t log in. Don’t waste your time, just go directly to their (non-smartphone friendly) website.
Overall Good. Decent app and definitely works to go through TSA and board the plane. No problems there. Sometimes, not entirely intuitive to use and I work for a company that builds mobile apps... basically, if I’m done with a flight, don’t show it in my “Trips” - make a past trips button or something. Biggest gripe is that it told me to board Grate 7 yet the flight changed to go out Gate 2... almost missed my flight. It’s an app... you can send notifications or update the Gate from the server side. But just a notification would’ve helped so much. Again, good app otherwise.
Maybe the worst of the discount airlines. These weasels scammed me on a bag check. I tried to check a bag the day before my flight online but the “check a bag” button was greyed out. In ended up having to check the bag at the airport for $75. The Allegiant folks at the airport confirmed had I been able to check the bag online it would have been $45. Calls to the airline customer service department yielded no answers and no recourse. Of course with this airline you have to pay for everything - bag, carry-on, seat assignment, even peanuts. Add it all up and you’re better off paying for Southwest or Delta. Never again.
Money save on flight paid for with your time. If you have no time constraints and are willing to lose at least part of your day, Allegiant is a viable option for you. If you have somewhere to be, pay a little more for a reliable airline. The lower prices are supposed to be due to being a “no frills” airline, not due to delaying flights. It’s unfortunate there are companies that are willing to operate from a poor level of standards. If you do spend your hard earned money with Allegiant, make sure you have no other plans as the money you save on a flight will be paid for with your time.
Good prices… sometimes. Easy to use app, works well. Prices can be really good! The only problem is if you go back to look at a flight, the prices are immediately hiked up. Prices for a flight went from $115 to $259 in 4 hours of us looking at the flight. We should’ve bought sooner, but I hate how much they raise the price. Also, the price for the exact same flight is sometimes different for me and my wife. They give you different prices based on how much you’ve looked at that flight.
Terrible booking site. Never ever have I dealt with such a DISHONEST Websight or airline company!! I booked a trip with my Apple iPhone and each time with the dates etc. the flights were nominal and then every time I went to the total it was 4 to 5 times that amount!! I rebooked it Several times then I turned on my computer and tried to book it and again the same results — so it was either pay their ridiculous total or cancel my entire trip! I had to cancel my entire trip and planned vacation! I wouldn’t even give them one star but I had to in order to write this review!!
App problems. I have had problems with my app for several years. After staying on hold for an hour to Allegiant, I was told that Allegiant did not own this app. When asked where I could go to get some help, I was told he didn’t know. Some how, my mother’s name & address was put in on app and I can’t get it off. She has been deceased for 4 years and every time I open the app, it says good morning Lorrie, my mother. I took app off and put it back on. It still says that. When I try to edit, it says there is a problem with the edit, and goes back to my mom’s info. My husband and I travel a lot and I have to change this every time. Where can I get some help????
I wish there was a zero star rating. I am an allegiant frequent flier with rewards. I have never seen a more inept group that does these app updates. It never works. Then I try and check in online, and the website doesn’t work on the phone and will not show my boarding pass. Convient for allegiant as it costs us $5.00 per boarding pass to be printed at the airport. If they charge us today for printing with non working app and website, i will be filing fraud claims on BBB as well as business chamber for state of Nevada. Get your act together Allegiant. It’s a flight reservation app; they have been around for a decade and none of your competitors have this issue!
Poor communication. The app the day before the flight didn’t let me check in. The day of my flight I didn’t show up early enough so they kicked me from the flight. The app didn’t specify that I could get from the flight if I didn’t show up early enough. In the past I’ve never had a problem showing up close to boarding time. Then they wanted to charge me the cost of my ticket to be able to fly out the next day. I was able to get a next day flight with a different airline for less money than they wanted to charge me to rebook after all this.
Allegiant is Failing!! Avoid at all costs!!. Having flown with Allegiant regularly in the past it pains me to say that they’re probably on their way down the tubes. With all the cancellations lately they seem to have taken the phone off the hook. All emails are answered with a generic reply that they are looking into your concern. I waited on hold for 3.5 hours with no human ever answering before finally being disconnected. Now their line is perpetually busy 24/7. Their promise of a refund within 72 hours of unexplained cancellation never happened. 42 days and counting with no credit or specific communication related to the cancellation credit. My advice to everyone, Avoid Allegiant Air like the plague!!
My trip. Flight was good. A little late but ok. I wonder why u let a plane take off with empty seats in emergency row. If no one is available to open door what good are they. Those seats need to be filled by young strong people to assist in sn emergency. Please make those seats available at less cost to young people. What is going on with app?. I have never had any problems with the app until now. When I tap the button View boarding pass the boarding pass does not come up. I don’t have a printer where I am and I am not paying $5.00 to have them printed at the airport. I deleted the app and downloaded it again. Didn’t help. On the flight her I showed the page that was to print the passes. Attendant told me I couldn’t use it. Told me I needed to print. Told him the app needs to be fixed.
Impossible. My family was so excited to have a direct flight to see our grandchildren and for them to come home. At the service desk in the airport Allegiant representatives are very nice. The app and the website make contact nearly impossible. Continual app problems, and messages, being on hold for 45 minutes or longer, chat agents who cannot help . It is frustrating to say the least. Please do more to help your customer contact you and get reliable and helpful service.
App issues. Although I love allegiant the app has issues. Several people have complained that the app will not allow users to sign in. However the same users can sign in with no problems from a computer. I have called allegiant to attempt to remedy the problem with no luck. Unfortunately CS has no clue how to fix this problem. The app works if you plug in your confirmation details, then your boarding pass will show on your iPhone. But I have had no luck logging in with the app. Even tried deleting app and passwords from my iPhone. Then resetting my iPhone. And days later re-installing app. No luck. If allegiant could fix this problem the app would be 5 stars.
Convenient and helpful, when it works. It was extremely useful for my departing flight, I did the mobile check-in. However for some reason after that flight it stopped working, every time I would try to use it the app said it couldn't update the flight information. Still doesn’t work and I couldn't use it for my returning flight, which was inconvenient. It would also be nice if you could actually see a visual of where your seat was on the plane so you could get a better idea. Overall app needs work but is convenient when it does work properly.
Appleton, WI to Portland, OR. I loved the convenience of the direct flight added this summer!! Appleton has such a nice airport. I live in Green Bay and my daughter lives in Portland. This direct flight allowed me to go visit her twice to help her move and she got to come home for family time!! The flights were always full, the attendants were great! I hope this flight can continue on a more permanent basis!!
Disappointed. I book flights weekly and would use Allegiant more if the app was easier. It requires me to login at every turn with no option to access the account using facial recognition or a saved password option. The ability to see and compare flights is difficult as well. It needs some focus and dedication. I was excited for the update, yet it had a hotel offering option? Get the app nailed down first before you add a function that only 5% of people will use
Sad. It is sad that the reflection of the app services do not reflect the less than friendly resection at the ticket counter. Your app says nothing to the effect f check in policies or checking bag policies… You panhandle be in time and allow for mishaps as well as long lines then force me out of line because I’m to early. Nothing more frustrating then planing accordingly and finding I am being penalized for being 1) early as you suggested and 2) I can’t check my back for another 1hr all to which I get stuck a security as well as stuck in what ever mess happens, which could have been avoided. Seriously… how lame can you be!
This App does not work. Only gives error when Signing into my account. The App is frustrating. I can’t log in. I get an “Error logging in at this time”. Then I try to reset my password after entering in my email address and I get another error saying “this email is not associated with an account on this system”!! I know I have an account with this airline as I booked a flight with them on my browser. When timeliness is a priority, like catching a flight, passengers do not want to be delayed with errors on your App. You need to fix this problem.
Very confusing. No instructions on use of app, as to how to pull up boarding passes. No website shows any instructions of how to use the app, either. The Allegiant website page regarding the app has a video on how to use the app, but it’s really just an advertisement to use the app. I’m very frustrated that I’ll have to waste paper and ink to print my boarding passes because I have no idea how to or if I’ll be able to rely on this app. Perhaps this design flaw is to force confused patrons to be forced to pay $5 per person at the gate to get their tickets printed. First time flying Allegiant and because of this (and moreso because of the news reels of the dangers of this airline), I doubt I’ll use this airline again.
Useless app. I have a trip coming up and it doesn’t show in the app. I keep getting “unable to update information”. I haven’t used the app for over a year and the last time it worked perfectly. The screen shots the developer shows for the app, I don’t see. I have an iPhone 8 currently running version 16.7.8 so not sure if that makes a difference. UPDATED 7/4/24 I updated my app after their update yesterday and still am unable to use it. I even downloaded it to my iPad and still it says unable to update account information or even add my trip to it as when I try to do that it says there’s a server error.
Disappointed. Showed up early for my flight. The app said that it was delayed 2 hours, so I decided to take a nap in the car. Not 30 mins later the app went back to say it was on time so I went ahead and went through the airport lines. Checked in. Waited. Only for the app to update to the original delayed status right at the boarding hour. If there’s a delay, I understand, it can’t be helped and these are rough time. But don’t change it in the app to on time only for people to get to the gate and be told that it is delayed for 2 hours.
App problem for years now. I finally decided enough is enough. As many many others have complained about, this app is pretty bad. You are able to log into your account fine in a browser yet not the app. This really can’t be this hard to fix not sure why IT at allegiant cannot make this a priority. I seriously love the airlines but this problem has existed way too long. Also I have flown a lot yet I don’t see any points on my account page. I don’t have the MasterCard but still I thought you got points for travel regardless. Frustrating.
Can’t check in online. For my last FOUR flights with Allegiant I have not been able to check in online or see my boarding pass. I fly with children. I fly with my pet. This is extremely frustrating since I travel with Allegiant frequently. Unfortunately, I have 2 more flights already booked with them. Either fix your app, or prepare to loose a customers who spend thousands a year on flights 😡 this should not be an app issue. It’s extremely inconvenient!
Worked great before. I had never had any issue with the app for 2 years, except I couldn’t log into my account, I had to go through the steps as a guest and then log in. But the past month, I’ve tried to book 2 flights and I get a message saying an unexpected error has happened after I hit submit to pay. Very frustrating. I’m having to go to the web and book the flight. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app 2x. I even created a new account that lets me log in on the app but I still get the error message. Help! I like the app but never had problems until recently.
Flight attendant Amanda. Sunday I flew MSP to Srq. I became nauseous on the flight. Quickly making it to the back of the plane I was sick. Flight attendant Amanda was attending to me above and beyond. She was comforting and compassionate. She provided me with anything you could ever think of to help me. I can’t thank Amanda enough for all she did for me. Amazing job! Well done. Amanda deserves recognition. Thank you Amanda for everything!
Broken accessibility. I love the airline for the low prices and the direct flights between multiple cities. I've been using Allegiant now for about four years and I've always used the app. I am a visually impaired user and have recently noticed that the app Calendar is no longer accessible with a screen reader. I can swipe through the months and access the names of each month, but dates are inaccessible. This is difficult to make a flight of course because I can't add in departure or arrival dates. Please work on this so I can get back to flying normally.
Awful. The App was ok when I used it in the past. However, the App no longer works on my iPhone 13. I am unable to sign in on the app without automatically being redirected to the mobile website. I have tried deleting and reinstalling and even restarting my phone—nothing I’ve tried has helped. I have an upcoming flight that I still cannot access for my boarding pass. I called customer service and waited on hold for 1 1/2 hours only to be disconnected by Allegiant while in the holding queue. I tried sending a direct message via Twitter and did not receive a response. This app needs updates to fix the bugs. Otherwise, it’s useless.
Services fine mobile app disappointing. I’ve been flying Allegiant for many years and have been pleasantly surprised. The price is right and have had very few flight problems. However the mobile app has become useless. Every flight I’ve taken this year I’ve not been able to download my boarding pass. Not a big deal except like now when I don’t have access to a printer !
Capri Fullmer. This airline is a joke. Do not fly on this airline. I had made reservations for 2 people that were trying to fly for a funeral. Because of all the stress they didn’t check in. They were at the airport an hour before and they wouldn’t let them check in or board the flight. They said they need to be there 3 hours before the flight leaves!!! I’ve flown all over the world. International flights ask you to be there 2 hours before the flight leaves. This was a 1 1/2 hour flight. Such a scam. I will never fly this airline. I will make sure all of my friends and family never fly this airline.
Very frustrating app. I would like to love this app. I fly Allegiant often. I am a card holder. I am unable to change flight dates or so anything to manage flights on the app or on the website. I have tried more times than I can count. I was just bumped from my reserved seat and had to call to get another seat selection because I was not able to on the app. It took an hour on the phone to get a new seat selection confirmed. Beyond frustrating. I have updated the app. I am not using an old phone. If I was a new customer I’d not use the airline again unless I had no other choice just because of the difficulties in the process.
Latest update ruined the app. This latest update constantly logs you out, which is a Royal pain when you need to keep opening up your boarding pass for luggage, then security, then boarding. Also, anytime you want to change your luggage or any terms on your ticket, it forces you to leave the app and go to an Internet provider on their main webpage. It used to let you change it inside the app and was very simple for all tickets on your account. Now if my husband has a separate ticket I can’t go in and change his baggage without logging back into the main page under a different name. Allegiant needs to revisit their new app and make it more streamlined.
Horrible app. I have been trying multiple times a day for over a week to add my flight to my app account, and get error messages every time. I tried to chat with their online support, and finally got through, after being kicked out of line five times, each time with a 25 minute wait. She didn’t help me get my info in and said lots of people have been having trouble, but did put a note in my account not to charge me for printing boarding passes at the airport. So now I have an app on my phone that I can do nothing with, because I can’t enter any flight information. Sounds like it’s time to fix your app, Allegiant, if your customer service reps can’t even figure out how to help.
App ok but cust. Support?. After multiple attempts on their app to use my flex flight option and move a flight three days later, I kept getting error message. From there you call customer support and they do have my phone log… One call I waited an hour and 25 minutes for the gentleman to tell me that they could not help me. The second call was a tad longer and clocked in at over one hour and 30 minutes… Call was picked up and I was left hanging in silence for another 10… Then an automated voice came on… “How would you rate your service with Alliegent Airlines?” What??
Terrible app. I only fly this airline because of the more affordable prices but this app is terrible. Last time I traveled we never could pull up boarding passes and had to print them from the office where we were staying. Today it has signed me out of the app and won’t recognize my password, and when I try to reset it it says there is no account for my email. I’ve had an account for years and have confirmations in my email for an upcoming trip. So frustrating. I’m about to the point where I’ll happily pay more just to not deal with this. It’s not hard to make a good app in 2023.
Terrible app. If you are traveling as a family, this app is literally the worst. I have added my “saved Travelers” at least 7 times. It keeps dropping them. It signs me out all the time. Now I somehow don’t have any points saved up? The app is difficult to navigate. And difficult to figure out how to move from screen to screen when booking. I really dislike the changes that were made to the upgrade portion. It makes things feel like “all or nothing” when you were able to select things more easily before.
App has always worked great.. I see tons of negative reviews of issues and I have yet to face a single one. I’ve used Allegiant many times. Booking is easy, using the app is easy and my trips go right to the “manage the trips” tab and my boarding passes always pull right up to scan off my phone easy. Along with easy check in through the app too. Allegiant is typically all I use and I have never, ever had any issues once.
Useless App. This app is absolutely useless because you can’t log in. I just realized this is a pattern with every allegiant flight I take. I get the same error message despite my email and password being correct. I can log in on my laptop just fine or even the web browser on my phone. Ive deleted and re-downloaded the app, tried resetting my password, etc. Part of me feels like this is on purpose to prevent customers from accessing a mobile boarding pass. If you make it to the airport and cant pull it up then they charge you to print one. Either way the app is useless if you cant get in to use it. Be sure to check before going to the airport!
App is horrible. I used to really like this app for traveling but now it is worthless. Have uninstalled and reinstalled and still won’t let me sign in or get boarding passes. Had to print out before trip to get them for first leg and then had to put a pdf on my phone for return. When I try to sign in its is always an error and when I try to use lost password it say email doesn’t exist. I can add a trip and it shows up on the app so that is at least a little helpful for checking in but what is so hard to make this app work correctly?
NEVER AGAIN!. NO BARGAIN: Allegiant charges extra for boarding privilege, seat selection, checked bags, carry-on bags, and cancellation protection. TERRIBLE CANCELLATION TERMS: On a $350 round trip itinerary, Allegiant charged $28 for cancellation protection. But it turned out that they kept $80 when I cancelled 2 ½ months in advance of flight date. Moreover, the remaining $270 was refundable only as a voucher on a future flight. The voucher was redeemable for one-year not from the flight date, but rather the trip purchase date which was 5-months before the flight. So... it was really a 7-month voucher. TAKE AWAY: Allegiant is one of those incredibly greedy firms you just hate doing business with.
Good for checking in. I originally downloaded the a App to use the e ticket feature and early check in. For that service, it worked great. I was incredibly pleased. I opened the next time to search for flights from my area to “somewhere”. Somewhere, because I didn’t know which airport I wanted to fly to. I would love to see a service map so you can pick your start and see what options are available. Maybe I’m willing to drive a little for a cheaper rate, or perhaps I’m willing to pay more to fly into a choice city. Either way I think the booking flight open is clunky and could use some touches.
Terrible customer service, App is useless. Flights canceled long before the outage so we can take that excuse out right off the top. Had to drive 4 hours to the next closest airport to get my children. Tried logging onto the app to check in my children for their return flight and all of my information and previous and upcoming flights are gone. I open the app, and the app redirects me to the web browser. App doesn’t work, flights aren’t showing up, customer service said he has no solution and I still can’t check in after waiting on hold for an hour.
Good app, flight was bumpy. I flew for the first time to Florida with my mom. Considering I was a first-time flyer, I was freaking out and was worried we'd get in a crash, but we landed safety. We experienced a few turbulence episodes that made us physically jump, although we were securely strapped in our seats, and I nearly screamed from the unexpected moment. Other than that, the flight was fine. My mom mostly uses the app, and she said it was easy to use. Coming from the perspective of a first-time flyer, I sure wish the flight was smooth, but maybe I'm just overreacting.
Boarding passes/manage trip. This app is entirely outdated and awful to use. I’ve been trying repeatedly to add my boarding passes to my Apple wallet and I keep getting an error. Any time I tried to check my flight I would get an error. Trying to manage bags/seats on the app was a hassle as well. Now I have to print my boarding passes which is fine since I’m home but very inconvenient when I’m at my destination and need to come back. If I don’t have them, I get charged for the airport to print them but it’s not even my error - it’s the lame app. It’s 2024, fix the app. Thanks.
Can't Check In or Boarding Passes. I booked flights for 8 of us and it checked all of us in but two, kept receiving error. Went to the online website, was able to check those two in and gave me boarding passes to print off. Went back to my app showed them as checked in but gives an error for their boarding passes. Hopefully, the ticket booth will just print them for us since their app is not working correctly. Other than that, I love Allegiant and never had problems before with the app.
