Crappy app. I downloaded this app for fun thing it would be a nice thing to do when I’m bored. Turns out the app is a scam. I download what seemed to be a FREE GAME and was instantly charged 9$ that I can’t get back. After this I at least hoped the app would make it worth it but it was terrible. Nothing was up to date and half the ships didn’t have pictures of them so it was a waste of time. Do not buy this app if you want to save your time and money.

Worked well until recently. The app no longer provides the ship names, destinations or pictures. Used to work great

Pointless. This is just an app is all it is. Doesn't do anything at all.

Horrible. Ship position is days out of date. Useless. Can't even save one ship for free. DO NOT GET.

Crap. Unreliable. Searched results are always weeks from last known location. Most cargo vessels in my area are marked unnamed /generic cargo vessels. I had the paid version as well. Not worth the download!

MSEP 10-10. Graphics are lower quality than others and it takes more time to load than some, but it does report more vessels with AIS on than some free apps. The adds are smaller than some too. With safety my first concern, I prefer to have many other boats identified.

The free version of this app is all but useless.. If you like looking at little colored triangles on a map, then this is the app for you. If you want to search for a vessel or anything remotely useful, then the free app is pretty much useless. Paying ten dollars for the paid version for information which is freely available on a desktop is ridiculous. I’ll just do vessel searches in the safari app of my phone. (for FREE).

Free app = useless. Can't search for ship. Had to compare the online location to the apps location to even find the ship I want to track. Once I found it, I couldn't even add it to my tracking list. Don't want to pay $10 to track 1 ship my vehicle is coming on.

Not worth the bandwidth to download.. I downloaded the app after checking Vessel Finder website. App shows no Container Ships near the Panama Canal? I highly doubt there is ever a time with no Containers within 500 miles of the canal.

Can't even search. Can't even search ship names in the free app like you can on the website.

Times are only in UTC. Before update would be in local time. Don’t see a way to turn off UTC

Just OK. The free version is not too bad, but not great. Shows outdated ship position info. For example, I was tracking container ship CMA CGM Saigon. This app had ship position 13 days old. Marine traffic had AIS position 2 minutes old. Not worth $10 to me for more accurate ship position. I was looking to see if i could find something better than Marine Traffic, guess there isn't one.

Waste of time. This app used to work consistently. Now it doesn’t update at all. My husband is on a boat offshore, it hasn’t updated location in over a month and their tracker is on daily. You guys need to fix your app or just take it down.

Good update. More accurate than other apps and now works well on iOS. Even better than MarineTraffic.

Pathetic Now. Use to be a good App, but now it cost you $1,000 a year for service that use to be free. There are other Apps. Developer has priced themselves out of the marjet

Another useless free app. Free means no functionality.

Vessel finder lite. Does not display vessel information such as name.

Vessel finder. This free version of this app has no functional value. You open it and you see triangles on a map. In order todo anything you must purchase an upgrade for ten dollars.

Best free tracking app. Provides latest vessel location update and est arrival date

Needs fixed. For a few months the app won’t say what the boats name or anything about it is. Needs fixed to be a good app still

Information. Won’t tell me anything about the ship, says to upgrade if I want more information

Fantastic App!!. I was recently in Savannah & LOVED watching the gigantic container ships/cargo ships/tankers going by River St. & I kept asking everyone I’d meet there asking them how do you know when they’re going to pass by & a worker at the visitor center finally told me about this app & I downloaded it right away & haven’t missed a vessel yet!! It is the answer! It is perfect. You can zoom out to Tybee & beyond to see specifically what is coming & going. You won’t be disappointed. And it’s free. Thank you so much, VesselFinder Lite!

Updates that change the app. This is a great app however after downloading the update it does not show the speed I think it was much better before

Bugs. To many bugs, when zooming out from ship, I just get a blue screen.

Mukluk. Terrible around Puerto Rico

Useless free app. Was searching for cruise ship. Showed in search, but couldn't select without buying full version. Searched on map, no cruise ships to be found in area where it should be. Doesn't show all ships. Don't waste your time on this app.

Incomplete results. Could not find any aircraft carriers in the search results despite them being visible on your Vessel Finder website.

Zoom not working correctly. I cannot accurately zoom any more. The app keeps crashing.

Must buy every detail now. THIS EXACTLY!!! I use to love this app. It had very up to date locations of ships. Now, for free, you can see where ships were 5 days ago! Not helpful for those with loved ones out to sea. I am very unhappy with this app recently.

Useless. Wanted to track a ship my partner is on, and it shows data from 5 days ago. What’s the point?

Poor!. I find this so useless Makes me not want to download the paid version.

Not very good.. Yes, you're able to click on bubbles and see the location of ships. However, you cannot enter a ships name in the search bar and locate it. You will need to purchase the app.

Significant lag time. Makes app useless for watching ships. Shows in port when has long since left.

Not working properly. I have deleted and reloaded the app several times and even deleted and shut down my phone and for over an hour and restarted and reinstalled the app. It stays in the logo screen so long that I close it and reopen the app several times before it will show anything inside the app. If the Free version will not work, I will definitely Not get the paid version.

Junk. App is very unstable on the iOS platform. May work for a few days or a week and can’t even open it for another week or so

Sinking. Apps has been plagued with issues the last month and a half was fine til then

Happy with update. The new update is great. Important info is easier to access. Also seems to use less memory. I was beginning to look at other apps, but not anymore. Thank you.

Has potential but not worth paying for the Pro version.. Mapping quality is extremely poor (almost has no zoom functionality), they really need to lay down another background source. Picture of the vessel when first tapping on it would be much better. Map is extremely slow to refresh when moving around.

Just deleted this app. This used to be a handy little App with lots of info, photos etc, but now it is a complete waste of time. I have just deleted it as it won’t provide the name of a ship when you click on the ship icon! What good is that? I assume they want you to upgrade to the Pro version but $14.99 is a bit steep when there are other free apps around with way more information.

Good App In General. Good app for the average user to look at what ships and other water craft is around. Would like to be able to remove advertising, but the pro version is very expensive for just ad removal, considering I wouldn't use the other pro features. Map update is considerably slow to update when moving or zooming, but does eventually update.

This update has improved it dramatically. I had a lot of issues with the previous versions of this app but now it’s better than ever. Great work!

Very handy app. Fairly plain vanilla looking app, but it works perfectly fine. You can search for ships by name and track their progress in real time. The app updates the position of the ship you are tracking every 60 seconds, and extra information about each ship (where known) is available with the tap of a finger. Perfect for the amateur hobbyist.

Vessel finder lite. This app is useless, good half hour behind where the ships are! Four ships showing ready to come through rip, binoculars reveal the third one going through first two nowhere to be seen ! Doesn’t show the pilot vessels anymore even though you can see them with your own vision going out to the ships.

No trafic in Gulf of ST-Lawrence. Full AIS ships in Gulf of St-Lawrence Quebec ,Canada but we dont see Andy with you app. S'arrange , where do you get your database info

No boat description. I was able to double click a vessel and it would open a window stating said vessels name, ownership etc, but now I select a vessel and it just states ‘sailing vessel’. How do I correct this problem?

Tied Selling. Don't download this app; it's totally useless. The only thing it does is tell you to buy their pro version for $11.99

Does what it should do. The lite (free) version has been on my phone for a few years now. I can look up any ship by name or from the map, see where it is, course speed destination and basic details. Works just fine for me.

Garbage. What an incredible waste of time. Don't bother with this. It's just a ploy to get you to buy their Pro version.

Scam!!!. Used this app for a couple years without problem, now this year in order for me to see my ships transiting thru the Welland canal, they want a monthly subscription of 116.00 per month USD and I’m in Canada so approx. 150 cad per month...just deleted this app and now using Marinetraffic web page which is all free! What a scam this app is! So long
