The best apps for saving photos!. I am a big time photo person and for some reason I can not get rid of any photos that I have taken and Photomyne has been the best scanner I have tried. Scan, adjust, colorize, edit, photo the back side that has important information or inscriptions written by loved ones and when I am done I can send to the people I know will enjoy them. Description is on the front with a listing of any person in the photo and place taken, date and much more. One of my favorite features is the ability to type in someone’s name and it will pull up the photo of the person you are looking for. Name, place, date just search. Love this app.

Phenomenal App. I had not used this app in a while but tonight pulled out old picture prints from before digital cameras that I want to put on Facebook and send to my friends as well. However I needed to get them onto my phone as well as my computer. This app allows me to do so. It’s so easy to do and what is great is if a particular picture is really old and is not as crisp and clear it actually enhances the photo when you scan it. The scanned photo looks better than the original print. Lets say you want to put the picture in a frame you can use the scanned picture instead of the original print. It’s just a great app, easy to use and I highly recommend it.

Scrapbooking reversed!. I have been working to extract photos scrapbooked years ago back into digital format. They were cut up and creatively arranged and I didn't see how I was going to do it until Photomyne. Photomyne scans full pages even through page protectors, corrects the color and determines how to define each photo separately. I still have to go into each page and redefine edges because mine are a jumble of overlapped images, but once I do that and save, I have all of my photos to save to my PC. It's really quite amazing and a true timesaver. Highly recommend. My only wish list items are to arrange them in the order Id like before downloading and to be able to define the naming scheme.

By far the best photo app + document your albums!. I’ve been using this app for years! This is by far the best out there for documenting your albums! Saves a ton of time and gives you the opportunity to easily make adjustments on the fly! When your finished, the best part is sending it to your computer where you can email yourself a link and download them all at once! Very fast and easy process! You can’t go wrong with this app! I’ve Never seen any bugs! A+++++ love the colorization filter! Turn black and whites into color photos!

Good and easy. I used this app a lot more some years ago because I was taking pictures and downloading pages from old picture albums where taking the pictures out of them plastic pages was impossible. While the quality taking them through the plastic wasn’t great it really did a great job and separated out each picture individually so I could crop, enhance, and move them. I also like the feature where you can add info about each picture. So helpful. I am so glad I did so many of my albums and saved them to this app. I was getting near the end..only a few more to go and our home and everything in it burned to the ground in the fire that destroyed our town of Paradise in 2018.

Memories Kept. I’ve been using this app for a few weeks now scanning all the photo albums of children, family, and events. Sharing it with family in its website allows everyone the ability to pick and choose easily what they want to see. I am relieved that I can keep cherished photos digitally. Relive your memories by using this app! PS. I am 72 fairly familiar with using my iPhone - please know that this app is VERY easy to use.

Exceptional. This takes any good picture and makes it great! I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful it is to have one program that excels at improving old photographs that have sat around for years. In addition, it should be on your main screen for your phone so that you can keep track of, all of those receipts you have throughout the year get lost if you were not using this app on a weekly basis and finding value and you were using it wrong.

Greatest App!. Now over 11,000 old photos scanned since 2016! It started as a way to store all my parents old slides and photos so I didn’t have to store all of their albums. It escalated from there into my personal family photos as well as my husbands. This would never have been accomplished using my flatbed scanner. The ability to share all these images with out-of-town family members using the web feature is wonderful. And there is the option to identify each photo with pertinent info, if you so choose. The list of features goes on. Can’t say enough good things about this App. I would like to see features added. The option to alphabetize albums by TITLE would be a great help rather that just by date. When dealing with so many albums the ability to have different collections or groups , or albums within albums would be nice to separate families. Just the ability to custom arrange albums would be a helpful feature in keeping different family albums separated.

Better than not scanning. I agree than this app is not as good as a flatbed scanner meant for photo scanning. The scans with this app don’t have the details that the originals have. But I still recommend it. I was able to scan all our family photo albums in less than two hours. That’s more than a hundred images. The app is incredibly fast and easy to use. Now I have a digital copy of everything. It’s done. If I get time I will do really good scans on my flatbed. But that project will take months or years to finish. It’s also a perfect app for keeping a copy of all the artwork/school work my son brings home from school. I quick snap a photo then toss the originals.

Terrible Photo Quality. The pages of my aunt's 1940s era photo album were too large to be scanned, and the photos had been glued to the pages. Rather than rip the album apart, I used this app to scan the pages, hoping to use the Photomyne share function to make her cherished old snapshots accessible to my large extended family. Unfortunately, the scan quality was awful. While the auto-crop feature worked well, the auto-restoration process left every picture so grainy and blurry the subjects were barely recognizable. Not one was even remotely suitable for producing a decent quality reprint, making them worthless for sharing with family and friends. Ultimately I had to deconstruct my aunt's album after all, and scan the pictures on a flatbed scanner. I give the app an A for concept and effort, but an F for execution.

Looks good on devices only. I have close to 500 old photos that I've been meaning to scan and put in a photo album for my mom for this Christmas. My husband suggested I try one of those apps that will scan and enhance my photos so I stumbled upon this app, I even bought it because the video looked so awesome. On my phone the picture scanning deal became a breeze and I was amazed how great they look after automatically been fixed. It wasn't until upload the images to a photo book creating website and started creating the album when I noticed all the photos are very grainy and blurry. I work with photoshop and realized that this apps corrects the scanned photos by aggressively sharpening the image which resulted in grainy and in some cases pixelated images. They do not look good at all, in the real photos you can see detail, in the scanned version you lose detail and get that awkward grainy/blurry look. I guess that's what happens when I tried a shortcut. Thai app is only good if you want to save your old photos to upload to social media or your computer. Print quality is very low.

Disappointed with support. Purchased app used it to scan 30+ pics using iPad but then ran in a problem moving that album to my laptop. Wanted to move pics to iPhoto to utilize in iMovie on my laptop. After purchase received an email stating welcome and if I had any problems told to contact an individual. Emailed for help, no response for hours. Attempted to use phone support, told appointment had to be made, first available 4 days from then. Finally, had email reply but was a generic page of suggested answers to various problems. Used the closest offering and the page didn't match what my screen was showing. Over 5 hours passed before I could figure out how to resolve issue. Cancelled app on the spot, service is poor. Will try to find an other app that is supported.

Learn how to cancel trials. I find it hard to believe the amount of people who are unaware that you have to cancel a trial. You can go into your ITunes account and cancel your subscription as soon as you sign up for the trial. It will NOT cancel before the trial period ends. If you do this at the time you took the trial you don’t have to remember to cancel when it ends. If you decide to keep it there is an option to re-start. Such is the case with this app. It’s a definite keeper. Good job developers!

Love this app!. Great app. My old photos are in the glue-back albums and taking them out to place in a scanner is not an option. Not only does this app scan the pictures on an album page, but crops them also. Of course if you want to crop them in a different way, that option is available too. Would love to see some built in borders and photo accessories, but you can still download the pictures to your device and use another app for that. I really enjoy having these pictures turned into digital media. I would recommend this app!

So awesome!!. We have tens of thousands of photos and 3/4 of them are pre digital. Last year we spent a lot of time sorting and selecting 3000 photos to mail off and be scanned. About a month later, we got them back with 2 CDs of the scanned photos. (1500) on each CD. My lap top computer does not have a CD reader. So I can only access them on my old computer or a borrowed one. Yesterday I scanned an entire album of 400 photos from college in half an hour. Then enjoyed scrolling through the album of that scan session on line with my daughter and husband. Too easy, so accessible and I can't wait to get through all of my photos and have access to them from any of my devices! This is so awesome!

An Incredible Tool. I was undaunted in my effort to digitize hundreds of family photos dating back over 100 years… But I was also very discouraged by the quality I was able to attain after experimenting with a number of different methods. Different sizes and finishes were such a challenge! This Photomyne app delivers amazing results with equally amazing ease and has cut down the time requirement for this huge project substantially. I cannot recommend this app highly enough!

Great App for old photos. Over the top expensive!. I’m rewriting this review after using the app a bit more and getting to appreciate a little better what it does. I’ve used it off and on for a while but didn’t want to pay what I thought was too much for an app with somewhat limited editing (compared to others like Snapseed, Artstudio, and others. This app does however do “its thing” so well, it deserved another look and higher rating. It makes capturing and restoring old images relatively easy as long as the images a somewhat decent to start with. I use Photoshop a lot to do serious restoration work. It’s tough to beat this app though if the images are in relatively good condition to start with. The automatic colorization feature will blow your mind! Yikes! Not sure how it’s done (it takes me hours in photoshop). The results from this app are pretty astounding for a press of a button.

Great useful app. I bought this app and find it extremely useful. I have thousands of pics to upload for the last 40 years and have been going steadily at it. The better the original picture quality the better the result. Many of my old pics (30 year color) get a little grainy, but the pictures were originally grainy (cheap installation 35mm) I don’t mind. I’m storing my memories, not trying to change the images to something they weren’t. This really beats turning in all the negatives! That was expensive!

Photomyne apps. It’s a good thing I am 70 years old and retired as a professional photographer. The reason ? The Photomyne apps are amazing ! My son also bought the apps and as a surprise to me, got my baby pictures album, all in black & white, and used Photomyne to take a digital picture of my print pictures, crop them, colorize & gave them to me as a gift for my 79 th BD! At one time I would use photoshop to attempt to paint colors to convert black & white photos to color. What an arduous task and results weren’t always acceptable. So buy the app, dig out those old photo albums and digitize them and have fun colorizing the black & white pictures you want!

I LOVE THIS APP!. I have 25 large dusty albums sitting on a shelf and nobody looks at them. With this app I can turn them into digital albums for my family to share. The hard copy albums exist but now my kids will have a thumbnail index to those albums should they want to reproduce a quality print. As I create each new album I send the pix out to friends and family and start a wonderful conversation. I don’t care that the quality is not great for printing ... that is not what I want it for. It makes memories come alive!

Great app!. I just scanned 480 photos from old albums in a very short amount of time 1.25 hours, with an 89% rate of the apps ability to successfully crop, enhance and edit. Did the 11% reedits within the app. Resolution is 72 dpi on all photos. Printed ok, but screen view is better. Will try a shooting distance testing to increase resolution and clarity. Some were blurry (hold for 3 seconds) and I moved. So set up a selfie stick secured the camera so it did not move between books and two sided Velcro. Then just moved the album under the viewfinder and shot the photos that way. I could control removing reflection better and did not shake causing blurt. Wish for two things: an option to shoot a whole page, without auto cropping, to capture all handwritten notes and photo group as a reference image. Maybe thats there already and I have not figured it out. Also wish there was a back option of 144 dpi and 300 dpi, when I want a great output to print. Thanks! Love this app!!!

Capable. There’s a lot of nifty features here. I copied over 500 old photos, some of which were damaged. The enhancement features can’t match what you can accomplish with an expensive photo editing suite, but it does a lot of things really well and….did I mention I copied over 500 photos in one sitting? They looked tons better than the originals and you can even colorize b/w portraits. It does a remarkable job of identifying parts of the body that are disconnected by clothing, furniture, etc. You will have to dig around a bit to discover how to do a few things like merging folders and saving to your phone or tablet, but it’s not too daunting if you’re determined. I should also mention you can copy several photos at once and it will detect their edges and treat them as individual and save them. You can copy from negatives, slides, photo albums (without removing the photos from the page) and documents. I recommend this app. The price is more than fair and you certainly get your moneys worth.

Good but Could Be Better. Thapp is a great timer saver and I think I will use it a lot. I have a lot of printed photos that I need to digitize. A lot of them are in books. The plastic pages cause glare, so you really have to take them out of pockets or open the cover. In the old books once you open the plastic many of them will not restick. Most irritating thing to me is the picture you scan does not show after you scan it. So, to know if you scan is good you have to close scanning and go to the top of the pictures to see it. There several other things that need improvement but I can’t think of them right now, oh yeah, even when you get them out from behind plastic it is still difficult to place the oictures so they don’t pick up glare.

Feature request. This app has changed my life! I’ve inherited photos from three different generations of family members and was wondering how on earth I was going to afford to send them off to be scanned. Then I discovered Photomyne and decided to try and digitize my entire families’ photos from the 1880s to the 2000’s. Since the beginning of March I’ve scanned 6000 images including negatives in FilmBox and I’m blown away by the quality, especially of the black-and-white negatives. However now that I have 6000 images I need to cull them and choose my favorites. In other photo library apps you can copy photos and put them in multiple albums. I could really use a feature like that now when I need to select my favorites out of certain albums and add them to a“Best of the best“ album. That would make organization so much easier than having to save them to the hard drive of the device and then re-upload it into a new album just share to a best of the best album. Thanks for an amazing app you guys!

First experiences with phitomyne. I have thousands and thousands of photos from our six children growing up. I spent most of the day yesterday looking through one batch of photographs when our children were young. I sent out photos to all of the kids, who are now grown with families of their own. If there were several of them in a photo I sent to all of them at once so I saw their responses and their conversations about the photos coming back to my phone as well. It was such a fun day, reading all of their memories and seeing how they laughed and joked about things. What wonderful family connections were made because of this app! In my estimation if you hold the phone very still, and you are in good light, the scanner does nearly as brilliant a job as My full-size expensive scanner. I have not tried printing them, so I have no opinion on print, but for sharing on social media or sending pictures to others, it’s just wonderful and fun thing. Karren in Sandy Utah

So simple to use.. Using this app to create a digital family photo album is so easy and fast. I have a large quantity of family photos, I want them but don’t have space to store them. This app has allowed me to quickly scan in photos, store them, and also download the files to a backup drive. I then have been able to distribute the hard copies to other family members, which has been a great blessing to some who have lost large quantities of family photos. I have and will continue to recommend this app to others.

Easy to capture, edit and review. I have so many pictures from my ancestors in albums and many are loose in shoeboxes. This application allowed me, with minimum effort, to capture entire pages of albums, then edit and document (comment) those pics that I desired and share with the rest of my family. It has an outstanding photo capture mode that all you need to do is to shoot a whole page of photos with your cell phone and it separates every picture individually. I recommend it to anyone that wants to save hundreds of decaying pictures for posterity and enjoyment of the extended family. I am interested in cresting e-scrap books but I do not think this app provides that capability. Still, it is worth the little investment since it saves hundreds of dollars if you were to do it through a photo copy service.

Great app. I have used this app during Covid 19 while I was sorting and purging 40 years of photos. It is easy to use and the photos look good. I sent several of the photos via text to my son-in-law. He was a creating photo book online to present to my daughter for her 40th birthday. The pictures looked awesome in the book. It sure was easier than scanning them into my computer. I am 66 years old and I find it to be senior friendly. I like that I can save them to different albums! My only complaint is I get the reflection of my phone on the glossy prints. I do the scanning in all different locations through my house at different times of the day to find the right lighting that keeps it to a minimum. I don’t think it’s the app, it’s the glossy prints. Keep that in mind when you use this app.

Dishonest. First they nail you for a monthly or yearly , which I paid and was happy to do so. Then they send an offer ,”0h this is a better deal and if you buy it you can go into subscriptions and delete the monthly so you don’t get double charged “, sounds good, so I do it . Can’t delete the monthly and your “new” better plan you just paid 40$ for doesn’t even show up . It gets better, go to app support and they have no email or number and are a google company , which if I had known, would never have gotten here at all. So now I get to pay 40$ a year plus 10$ a month. Some deal phtotyme. I got a response telling me to do what I already tried! So apparently no one read it. I still can’t get rid of the first subscription.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE. Love this app! It has made scanning family photos, which there are a few of thousand, so much easier. It really works well with their FilmBox and SlideScan apps too. I love that I can place pictures into various albums. The only thing I don’t like is if you describe the picture in one folder (ie, who is in the photo, location and year), the description does not carry over to another folder if you’re moving or copying the picture, which creates a lot more work. But scanning photos, slides and negatives using all three apps has been wonderful and wouldn’t use any other app unless the description carried over to another folder.

Memory Saver!. Excellent app, have scanned several family albums dating back 50+ years, reviving photographs to new vivid beautiful digital images. Recently sharing a childhood image taken in 1943 and sent to a son in South Pacific WW2, found in a keepsake box these many years later. A son of a subject in the picture indicated it was the first time he ever saw his Dad that young. Easy to use, easy to share and save memories. Works on both scanning old photographs and importing previously scanned images. Even works well on photographs behind glass in frames and behind glossy scrap book covers. The enhancing and colorization function work really well and it’s so easy it makes it fun.

Such a terrific app!. I started using this app three days ago and every day I find something new to like about it. 1) The ability to add details to the picture—time, location, who is in the photo—and it remembers names and locations, so you don’t have to keep typing that information over and over. 2) The ability to share the album with friends or family. I’ve shared a few pictures on FB. Our family is all over North America, so being able to send a link to the photos is fantastic. 3) The ability to crop the pictures. Let’s face it, no one in my family were great photographers, so being able to crop out some of the extraneous background is great. 4) If you want, you can colorize the black and white photos. I’m ambivalent about the results when this is used, but the app saves both the B & W and the “colorized” version, so there is no harm in trying it.

Great app. Once I figured out a way to take photos without glare, I found this app makes excellent scans of my photos. I got a frosted plastic storage box and cut a small hole in the bottom to take the scan through. I covered the bottom of the box with black tape and cut out the hole in that as well. Then I turned over the box and scanned my photos through the hole. The black tape makes no reflection, and the clear sides of the box let in light to get a good scan. I’m glad I found this app and would gladly give it five stars except for the incessant pop ups asking me to subscribe. I would gladly pay a one time fee for the app considering the limited use I need it for, but I don’t want a monthly or yearly subscription. The developer deserves to make money, but with that as the only option, I couldn’t pay them. My punishment is lots of annoying pop ups.

Memory saved. I’ve been using this app for a very long time and enjoy it immensely. Over the years I’ve refined how I saved them and the magic that the app helps with to make the images clear, and more information available. Since I’ve had the app I’ve had people in my family pass away and being able to save their memories in photos and tag what went on in the photos is invaluable. My entire family is able to see them And remember such great events.

Just getting going - great first impulse. Often we download an app and use it once them toss on the heap of worthless apps as too simple, too complex, false to advertised features. This has easily gotten past that. Each time we visit “ the grandfather” we are using it as photos are discovered on wall, in drawers, in albums. It makes quick work of it and organizing. Sometime to have to fight with glare, but that more a iPhone issue.

Amazing App!. I recently lost my uncle to cancer. We were faced with the task of transferring a couple hundred photos of him during his lifetime to display on poster boards for his wake and funeral. Many of these photos were glued into old albums and would have been ruined if we attempted to remove them. Your app was the amazingly simple solution! In less than one day, we were able to capture all these photos, unharmed, and upload to a website to be printed into huge collages for display. In addition, we wanted to display a large 11x14 photo of just my uncle, but one didn’t exist. With this app, I was able to snap a small 3x5 picture of him and then print a huge 11x14. I didn’t think it would look anywhere near as good as it did...we framed it and it looked great! Photomyne was the perfect, quick solution to a task that could have taken days to do!

Make converting print photos to digital a breeze. Was looking for a phone app to covert tons of photo prints to digital and this app fits the bill. Has tools to colorize black and white photos, color filters to enhance the image, but my favorite feature is an AI tool to clarify face images. Able to snap hundreds of photos in an hour. I recommend getting a phone stand to to square up to photo book for better image transfers.

One of my most favorite apps. I’ve been using Photomyne for several years now, and now have over 25,000 scanned photos. Not only have I scanned my own, I also scanned photos from both sides of my family. Thousands of photos. My friend also asked me to scan all of her photos so I scanned hers too! I’m very happy with the app, I only wish I had this app when I first started digitizing all my old photos - I did those on a conventional flat bed scanner and still need to crop them apart in a photo editor on my desktop. Thanks for continuing to make this app better all the time. I’ll keep recommending Photomyne to all my family and friends. Sometimes years goes by and a friend or family member will ask me to remind them of the app I always rave about.

Great resource for old photos. This has been an awesome resource for collecting my grandparent old photos. It has editing setting that can enhance the image, or you can leave it the original. It’ll predict the corners of the image so you can scan in more than one at a time. And if it guesses wrong you can go in and fix it. I have been thoroughly impressed with the quality. I have used it with an iphone8, and iPhoneX, and the pictures come back with a level of quality that I can include them in a photo video and they are nice to look at on a ~50” tv screen.

Auto cropping and photo fixing is AWESOME. All good BUT… The popup upgrade page when you use the $3.99 paid app every time, is VERY ANNOYING. TURN THAT FEATURE OFF PLEASE. If I want your subscription I can add it but don’t remind me every time I use the otherwise great app. Would prefer that the initial scan just give me the entire scan and then let me edit afterwards. I’m scanning side-by-side stereo pairs on glass slides and the app scans and crops each picture separately. I just want the app to scan the entire image with the enhancement feature. I can get to the original scan but the app makes me crop it manually so it takes way too long to process.

Love this App!. I have been using this app for a couple of years now and I have been able to toss out old boxes of pictures and old worn out albums that were taking up so much storage and shelf space without losing the pictures. Now they are all in one place and organized. It was so quick and easy! I can crop and edit with a touch of a finger. I got the premium and love the backup and storage features. I was even able to copy old cards and certificates and old schoolwork by the kids. Best of all, it comes with a convenient website of my own I can send a link to my grown kids so they have access to the pictures too. Love it.

Saving Family History. This is an incredible app!! We have spent the last few days putting precious family photographs, some over 100 years old, on Photomyne. We’ll be able to share these photos with family, and best of all, digital versions will assure that these be treasures will be preserved. I love the editing and cropping features, as well as the ability to add descriptions. The app is so easy to use. I have found that taking the pictures in daylight (even fairly low light), with no artificial lighting, produces the best results. Thank you for your awesomeness, Photmyne!

Great scanner, but sharing needs work!. The app is a great job with scanning both prints and negatives, but leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to sharing. If you share the entire library, apparently there is not a problem, but I don’t know too many people that would want the entire library shared. When you share individual albums, Apparently, you cannot tell who you have already shared them with, as well as if you add items to the album later, they will not be able to see the new pics! I have requested this feature be added, but we will see.

Great Option. So glad I found this easy to use efficient app. So much better than scanning pictures on a scanner bed. After scanning the pictures, I can discard the originals. It’s so easy to share them on the internet or put them on a thumb drive. I’ve scanned hundreds of pictures, even ones from before 1900, and all are of good quality. My only frustration has been to ensure that I don’t have shadows from my phone or extra light or glare when I’m using my phone camera. I love that I can scan up to four pictures at a time and if I’m not completely happy; rescanning is quick and easy. I’ve recommended this app to friends and family.

Outstanding App!. I rarely download an app I have to pay for and usually find what I need available for free. This is one of the few apps I own that is a paid app, and it is well worth it! It does exactly what it says it will do, and makes it so easy to scan and digitize old photos. You can easily touch up and restore a photo from an old photo album, without having to take the photo out of the book, and with filters you can restore it to better than the original. You can blow it up, crop it, and make it a better shot. And it looks fantastic. Great job guys! I love your app and highly recommend it!

Thank you so much!!!!. I have been using this app since 2015 and I absolutely love that all of my precious family memories are so organized and easily sharable with my brothers!!! I also have my “brag book” at my fingertips anytime someone asks me about my kids, nieces and nephews!! When it came time to create a slideshow for my Mom’s memorial service this app was a true blessing in such a hard time!! Thank you so much for making this so easy to use and share with others!!!

Overall great. Great app. Love the auto cropping, and the quality is (in my testing) better than the competition from Google. I recommend using as much light as possible (preferably of an even color temperature) and using a neutral background, which encourages neither overexposure nor overexposure. That said, it is frustrating to get an ad for their subscription service EVERY TIME you open the app. Especially considering I paid money for it. Also why has the free version received more updates than the paid version? Update after developer response: yes I know it’s optional, that doesn’t make the constant ads not annoying.

Absolutely love this app. This app is very easy to use and does a great job capturing each photo. Most photos come out better than the original. It’s even easier to label who’s in the photos then older version. Sometimes it does do mistakes but just delete the photo and reshoot another one. It’s that easy. I use it to scan all my family picture from years ago. Black and white and even colored ones. You can even make a family tree using the pictures.

Great way to scan old family photos. I found this app right after my mom passed away and we have lots of photos to scan to share with other family members. The scan quality of the pictures is excellent. It even could fix old photos that had originally developed with a red tinge because of it sitting around for years before getting it developed.... the app deciliter them so they are close to original coloring!

Great asset for saving family photos. Sorted through 35 years of photos a couple of weekends ago. This app has been great for saving them just in case. I still need to make some use of the best photos since you don’t get 100% quality in the scans. Not sure how well they’d print out. But still, being able to bring up the memories of when my kids were young is priceless. Very useful app. I don’t use this very often, but found it invaluable for assisting with our Ruby Wedding PowerPoint presentation and now I am going to ‘carry’ photos of my school days to friends overseas. So easy to use - thank you.

I love this app. I find this app so convenient. I’m putting all my old albums onto digital. This will save the clutter of old albums that are never looked at, while maintaining the record. Many of the old photos were not great anyway, but I’ve been able to make a copy and, in many cases, actually restore them to something closer to the original. I think this app certainly fills a need in the area of creating a copy of old family albums that would otherwise be lost. Thank you.

Wonderful App. What a fantastic app that is so easy to use. Sadly I recently had to put together a photographic memorial for my father and this app made is simple. Handy. Not easy to digitize in high quality, and a little annoying the way they smuggle in a paywall after advertising it as free - keeping photos like hostages, but not impossible to work around, and really pretty handy.

Locked Out!!!. Can’t believe you get locked out of the App for not subscribing to your cloud service even if you have paid for the full version. I do not want that feature but it seems I do not get a choice!!

Too many faults to constantly correct. What’s the point of the app automating scanning photos if you can see it making errors while in process but doesn’t let you stop it . You have to wait while it chops up your image into 5 photos then bring up each completed picture and re- rotate it, correct the colour to the original. So it take 5 times longer . It’s not simply efficient Then the next issue is the scanned photos rarely are as focused as the originals It is NOT possible to photograph through albums- the plastic reflects shadows and white spots that are not evident in the original

Great app. Fantastic and quick way to preserve all the old photos in case any future generations want to see them. Easy to use and tweak even more if you want to. Saves buying an expensive scanner and photoshop!

Easy answer. My brother who lives the other side of the world, wanted to know if I had any photos of him as a boy - I did but didn’t want them to get lost in the mail, they are irreplaceable. Photomyne provided an easy answer to the problem.

Fabulous app!!. What a fabulous app this is. I have so many old photos - unfortunately many of which were water damaged. With this app I can scan and even ‘fix’ some of the obvious damage but the greatest thing is that I can have old and treasured memories on hand rather than stuffed away in a box somewhere.

Restore. I find this App great but as I have already submitted I would really appreciate if you added the feature of Restoring many people have old coloured photos that have some cracking or minor damage and would like to see them the way they looked when they were taken,if you could please look into trying to add this feature because there would be hundreds of thousands of people in the same situation as me

Quick, easy and great result. I’m very happy with the result of the scanning. It doesn’t always get the borders of the photos quite right but fixing that with cropping in the app is far quicker than using my scanner! I love the way it straightens the photo and restores the colour. Would highly recommend this app

A prayer answered for those of us with boxes of priceless photos.. Stuck in between the ages of digital photos and the days when you only took a few photos a month I needed a way to save my past without having to spend hours at a scanner. Get app, but try to cancel subscription forget it!. I have found the app great to use, however trying to cancel my subscription another story. I have messaged customer support done everything they asked like going to apple, go to PayPal. They use a third party BlueSnap have no idea how to cancel this payment. With both my husband and I loosing our jobs with COVID every cent counts. I just want to cancel this subscription!!! Not happy at all.

So happy with the App. I had a whole bunch of photos that I wanted to scan and save, many from the sixties and even from earlier and they came often out better than the original. I had one from my father and his parents which must be from 1915. The scanned copy his really great with the help of the restore tool.

Fantastic. Really really great software especially impressed by the colourisation feature. Amazing. Well worth the subscription...in fact I may buy the $70 odd purchase.

New festures. As if it wasn’t good enough to be able to scan whole pages of albums and the program separate them automatically (which saved me ruining the photos beneath those old plastic covers) - I have now coloured and sharpened an image of my great grandmother AND I’ve brought her back to LIFE! AMAZING!

A Great Solution. My father passed 2 years ago and I ended up with 5 boxes of his photos. These included my parents black and white wedding photos , many slides and photo albums of my parent’s life . Photomyne enabled me to digitalise and save every photo ! I kept the black and white photos in their original format and also colourised them to bring them to life , just easy to do and truly amazing. Some photos also needed to be sharpened and their colour enhanced. This is easy to do and the results are absolutely true to life. Each album can be kept separately and arranged in the order I want. I have uploaded the photos to Google photos and also saved them on my iMac which gets uploaded into iCloud. So all is safe. Photomyne is a wonderful solution to storing photos and I have no hesitation in recommending it to everyone. Thank you !

Great app, Photomyne is so easy to use. This Photomyne app is the easiest way to turn all your old photo albums & loose pictures and postcards etc into digital single files ... to preserve your memories & store them in an electronic way. (Recommend you buy the paid version, as so cheap for what it does) With one hold of the button within the program Photomyne, while it scans for 3 - 5 secs per whole page, it cleverly separates the different pictures & saves them each within the program. They are then added to an album of your choosing, which you can name & date either before you start scanning or after. Saved photos can also be moved easily to other folders. If you wish you can download some or all to your smart phones “Photo” App & have them at hand on your phone at all times. The photos in Photomyne are saved in the cloud, with unlimited storage capacity for your account. If you lapse payment then your photos are not available anymore however ...you can download all your photos for free to a computer, external hard drive or smart phone so you can have them in several places at once. A great back up system for a very reasonable price.

Best Photo scanning app!. By far the best photo scanning app. Automatically scans photos and borders, makes accurate colour corrections. You can add colours to black and white photos. Definitely worth the few dollars to buy it!

Always improving. I really find this app has always done the job for me but today I paid for the Ai option and was blown away with the edit on an almost 80 year old photo. Well done Photomyne.

Fabulous. This can’t get any better. I’ve thrown away my old scanner claiming billionth resolution quality and instead am using this fabulous app . Ok , the scanning quality isn’t brilliant but it’s more than adequate. Love the ease of use , no more fiddling with cumbersome scanners and there silly software.

Very good. One improvement would be to be able to share photo(s) from an iOS photo library directly into photomyne via the share menu item in iOS. Currently you can only do it the other way around.

Two extra stars if you follow my request. I love the quality of images and ease of use. There are two things I don’t like however. Holding the button for three seconds to scan could be changed to a simple one click (the same as photoscan by google). One other change is to make the crop feature work better. I’d like to be able to change edges if needed and hold the corner there to lock it in. If you guys make these changes, I will update my review to 5stars. So far however I’m happy with the quality of inages

It is dull. If you don’t . Using this app I have converted dull and distant memories to stunning connections with past . My kids have said I didn’t know grandpa was so dashing , hope their kids would say the same about me .. one day 😃

Quick and user friendly. I was collecting snaps from all sources and so the quality varied . The Photomyne app make this task so easy to accomplish in a hurry. Just point and scan! Child's play ! you can even adjust colour and intensity to suit yourself. Highly recommend !!

Great app, a tad annoying pop ups. This app is perfect for scanning in hundreds if not thousands of photos that don’t have negatives (even if they do sometimes it’s just faster). I’ll give this five stars if they stopped with their push for a subscription intake. I’m happy to pay full price for a nap, but will not pay a subscription model for something that isn’t 100% necessary to my work life – which this isn’t. Otherwise this is a great bit of tech and has very very clever features built-in for a novice or a professional to use.

Best photo scanner. I have lots of old photos in albums, with this app I am able to scan & enhance each one. Even colour my old black and white one. Love this app.

Love it. Have some very old photos that I wanted to preserve and now have a way of doing so. I love that I own my images and the default setting of this app is on private setting. I was suspicious at first but decided to subscribe anyway and haven’t looked back. I don’t just use it for photos, I use it for documents too.

Caveat Emptor. Suspicious and sceptical of this app .. it’s description reads like a winner but the apparently free Photomyne seems to be just an introduction to a hard sell subscription service while the paid Photo Scan Pro virtually passes you back to the Photomyne experience. Having paid up I’ll try it but my expectations are now low. Having had time to consider this, I now believe the string of glowing reviews to be a contrived marketing technique that warrants investigation by Apple. In the meantime go download PhotoScan and save yourself a headache.

Works well....but very annoying. The only advantage I can see in this app compared with the others Is that the date of the image can be changed within the app. This is handy when allocating actual dates of images so that Apple Photos places the image chronologically. However, while iOS cannot do this, MacOS can make the change and much easier. The downside of this is that it makes scanning very very slow if you have a lot of images to scan. Scanning quality is much the same as other, cheaper apps, and cropping a bit quicker. Colourising feature is good, but I have a free app than does that as well. WORST of all is the constant reminders to upgrade to an overpriced subscription. I’ve see that when other users complain about the price, support display a rude and arrogant attitude. I’m deleting the app and do not recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic. So fast and easy - scans album page, separates into individual photos, crops, colour corrects, sharpens and then drops into the albums. Easy to then forward via email, WhatsApp or whatever.

Disappointing ‘improvements’. I have been using this app for some time and have been impressed with the quality of photos it takes. However, recent “upgrades” have made this quite user unfriendly. What was once a simple, one step process can take a number of screens to go through, and deleting has become a nightmare. I lost a whole album. So while photo quality is good, the app itself has become frustrating to the point I need to reconsider whether the cost is worth it. Added to this, one can’t send a review without spending an hour finding a tag, as all the nicknames are taken.

Best app for scanning old photos. I’ve recently started to use Photomyne, it has exceeded my expectations that’s for sure. The added functions for restoration of old photos is excellent... even a tool to colour an old black and white photo! Very cool!

Photomyne. A fantastic way of preserving good quality images of deteriorating photos, stashed away in old photo albums. No need to pull out the stack any longer to find that one shot.

Dates change?. I have scanned several hundred photos and was very particular to put correct dates in with description and date taken. When I have uploaded to Facebook the date is showing totally differently to what I put on the photos? Very frustrating as this is important with old photos.

Fantastic app, web sharing and great support. I am extremely happy with this app. I have quickly scanned, cropped and tagged over 30 photos into 2 albums and shared them with my Mom online. This is a very powerful app yet it is simple to use. The features are very well thought out and it is obvious that there are further enhancements to come as there is a survey that pops up now and then on future features. I am also impressed that I can use this on my phone, my iPad and my desktop PLUS share with up to 6 members of my family. This app is bound to be the digital future of my family photos. Subscription based app. This is a subscription based app, which means you’ll never own it and will have to keep paying forever just to use it. No matter how well made an app is, if it’s a subscription based app, it is a bad app. There is no such thing as a good subscription based app. Avoid at all costs

not very userfriendly. I am elderly and I find the app not userfriendly. It should be much easier to transfer the images to My Photos, that most of us are very familiar with. The scanning and colorizing is fantastic.

Scam. Paid to download app and found out that I needed a subscription to use the app. 3 day trial allows you to scan and download photos onto the app but can’t do anything else. App states that after subscribing you are allowed to move the photos out of the app to your desired file but not until you subscribe. A 3 day trial should include all the capabilities of the app! I am very hesitant to subscribe because I don’t know what this app can actually deliver.

Love this app. This app works very well! Used it years ago to scan multiple family lines for a family reunion and then share the photos with everyone once they were on the computer and then onto thumb drives. Now I’m using it to deal with my own memory clutter and it is working very well. Highly recommend if you have negatives or sides to get the lens and backlight that Photomyne also makes .

Don’t want upgrade, pushy app. This would be a good app if they stopped pestering everyone to upgrade constantly. I hate it!

Unsaid fees. Unsaid fees, they make you pay for premium after you buy the app. Premium fees are $19.99, slow processing and grainy pictures. This app is horrible.

Disappointed customer. I purchased the Photomyne Scanner Plus - Pro version of this app back in 2017. While the app is great for batch-scanning albums, the company is no longer truly honoring that "lifetime" commitment. After a recent update, my history vanished and the app became an endless loop of advertisements for their new subscription membership. Even after contacting support and providing my original 2017 receipt, they only "unlocked" local scanning while stripping away the cloud features I previously used. Now, I am constantly bombarded with "Upgrade" pop-ups every time I try to scan my family photos. It is very disappointing to see a company treat their earliest, most loyal customers this way by degrading the experience to force a subscription. Legacy users beware: Keep your receipts and don’t expect the "lifetime" deal you paid for to remain the same.

Love this app. Got rid of bulky photo albums!!

Image Quality. Images are crisp and clear however the photos overall seem to have a blue tint to them. It’s obvious they are scanned. They are not flat or without saturation or contrast which is reassuring. I recently took 1000 photos to staples for scanning and they came back terrible, worse than these from my phone so I’m sticking with this app for now until something more accurate comes along. BYW I scan beside a window on the north side of the house to avoid direct sunlight but maintain natural lighting instead of incandescent or LED light sources.

The solution to all my photo problems!. This app has been the answer to my enormous amount of unscanned photos. Now I have 30 years of family photos scanned and shared with my 4 children. I love the way you can label each picture. The best feature of all, however, is the enhancement that can be done to the photos. Great product needs the accessories. I’m trying to capture years worth of family albums going back to the early 1900’s, I did buy the camera holder to hold it over photos, because my back was breaking leaning over, then I got the remote Bluetooth button to click, so I just have to turn pages. Working on a way to connect to Google photos.

So much fun!. This app was my motivation to go through old photos to digitize them. I never knew it would be so much fun! Right away I paid for two years use and I know I’ll be getting my money’s worth. The features are easy to use - even to change or redo. The colorization is awesome … I can’t wait to turn my old faded photos to B&W just to colorize them again!

Having a blast!. This is so cool! With the right lighting my photos are coming out awesome. Very slight differences in quality from original. Some surfaces turn out better than others but the ability to preserve these photos then share with family members has been priceless! Thanks for coming up with this way of preserving and sharing.

Perfect! Life Saver!. I have somehow been the sibling that has gotten the mountains of photos of generations after my dad passed. Scanning them to Photomyne not only has been a savior (I’m still in the process!) but they look better than the original, and I can quickly access and send to my brothers and family. Great app. This is a great little app to import your photos easily to online albums. The app does a good job of correcting skew, contrast and borders. While you can definitely get better resolution from a scanner, the work is tedious. For most sharing applications the apps resolution is just fine and can still edit the images with your favorite photo editing app.

Wow!. Super easy to use and creates a digital album in no time! I wish there was an. option to tell it not to crop when scanning a whole page. But its easy to plow through changes after you add all your pages. Easy to share and easy to use! Highly recommend. (I paid for the subscription and am not using the freeware version)

Best app ever. I bought this app when I saw an ad on Facebook several years back. It sat idle for a long time until I needed to scan photo albums to create a video for my brother-in-law‘s celebration of life. I remembered having this that I’d never used. It worked so well I was able to scan all the albums in one day. I continue to use it all the time.

Fantastic. I absolutely love this app. It is so easy to use. You just take a picture of a page in a photo album and photomyne separates the pictures and saves them. I have SO many albums that having to scan each picture separately with a scanner is not practical. The ability to share photos is wonderful. I am so glad that I found this app!

Outstanding photo scanner. This app does an outstanding job of scanning and immediately editing the scan. In many cases, the scanned photo is better than the original. I have a little shaking hand problem, but the scan ignores that with a fast shutter speed. You can also colorize old bw photos with pleasant and interesting results. I wish there was a simple camera stand that stabilizes and levels the camera when scanning.

Easy and convenient. I started using this app because I had so many old family photos from my parents and grandparents that I wanted to scan and share with relatives. This program is easy, quick and allows me to add written details that is so important when it comes to remembering who is in the picture.

Outstanding. This App is absolutely outstanding. My father put all our old photos in albums and instead of having to take them out I just scan the pages and the software takes care of the rest. 200 photos took me 15 minutes. The software even fixes minor issues with the photos automatically.

This app is amazing if you need to scan old photos.. This app saved me many many hours. The self-cropping feature allows you to take a pic of several pics at once. I scanned over 1,000 photos in about 7 hours. It also stores them safely. And now it colorizes black and white photos with a click. I can not recommend it highly enough.

Love this app. I have been using Photomyne for at least two years already. I love it! Not only the scanning quality but also the support users get. I really appreciate vintage black and white pictures but since I tried the colorizing feature I cannot stop using it, and bringing life to the past.

Horrible controlling app. This app makes it EXTREMELY difficult to download YOUR OWN photos. Nor does it allow you to add photos you may have on your device to albums. It tries to control your every action and blocks you from actions that are normal other apps, such as downloading your own files. Does Photomyne actually think we want OUR OWN photos?????? I find this app frustrating, controlling and therefore unusable and will be deleting it and starting over with a better, less controlling app that DOESN’T block me from MY OWN photos. Very disappointing.

Great app for saving family memories!. Loved this app so much after using the trial that I had to purchase! Have scanned in over 3000 photos so far and have been able to take a tablet to my family in nursing care an identify people in pictures. Typing in names is SO EASY! App saves the names so I am not having to always re-type all the time. It makes my visits so much fun that I lose track of time and my family members LOVE it!

Good photo scanning with a lot of annoyances. The automatic post editing works well to clean up the photos but getting the correct lighting and lack of glare on the initial shot is difficult. Another app takes four photos and combines them into one good photo but it doesn’t clean up photos as well. The constant nagging to pay for more services has become extremely EXTREMELY annoying. I paid for the app. LEAVE ME ALONE.

Great app. This is a great app for scanning old photos and sharing with family and friends. I would like to have the ability to upload pictures already in the computer to be able to organize all in one place but this app doesn’t offer those capabilities. Fire close to my house. After experiencing a fire close to my house, I promised myself I would scan the 15 albums I had. I thought it was going to be a challenging and lengthy process. I found Photomyne, and it has been great. The ability to scan multiple pictures at once and add metadata and tags is invaluable. I love this app—it's worth every penny. Having a good phone helps…

My favorite new app. I have a whole lot of pictures from before digital cameras came to be that need to be scanned. I bought a regular picture scanner and scanned one photo at a time. It was taking so long that I gave up until I found this app. It makes scanning my old photos so easy and fast I love it. Thank you

Great App for managing photos. At this point, I think most of us who are 40+ have at least a box of old photos we have on our "to do" list to scan in to the computer to save them. Well, PhotoTyme is a game changer for the task! You just put the pictures out in front of you (I do 4 at a time) and it scans them, separates them, and puts them in a folder. You can also enhance them. It takes not clear images and makes them so much better. (I choose medium bc we don't all need to look like we are 18! lol) When my aunt died last Christmas, I found an old picture of her, scanned it, and sharpened it and it ended up being the picture my cousins chose to go up front by her urn. It came out beautiful!

Amazing. I am still completely amazed how easy and accurate this app is? And the efficiency of scanning multiple photos combined with unbelievable quality makes this a must app for everyone. I don’t know who was the brainchild was behind developing this photo scan app but you deserve an award. I now have family and friends who want this over the low quality inefficient posers who claim they are a valid photo scanning app.

Now my family is using this app!. I love this app. It is easy to use and my family pictures are being preserved. When I was gathering pictures for a family book I got my brother’s to down the app and use it to share pictures they had with me. It made sharing our pictures so much easier!

Amazing. I almost never purchase apps - usually what I need is free, or at least not more than a couple of bucks. This app is worth the money. I scanned in my mom’s 1950s & 60s photo albums in about half an hour, and the pictures look better than the originals. No straightening, no adjusting - you don’t even really need to hold your phone terribly straight. Just buy it

A no Brainer!. Brilliant! fast and efficient! Upload and enhance your old photos in seconds. Yes there are free apps available that will do this but you’re either going to spend a whole Lotta time with those apps or a little bit of money with Photomyme to get the job done quickly and organized.

Love it!. So easy to use, to organize, to scan, and everyone loves seeing the old family photos digitized! It’s time consuming but I use this app way more than the Cano-scanner I bought to scan family photos. Pictures come out really well, but sometimes it’s hard to get the right lighting for the best quality. Other than that, it’s great!

Happy me. I’m so blown away with all the upgrades to this App. It it by far the best of the best. Keep getting surprises every time I see additional features added. I believe there no limit as to what will be added in the future, that will rival any competitor. The best bang for your bucks. Best of all, you always get prompt Q &A responses. This app is awesome!. Recording, adjusting, sending to iPhone camera, able to do SO much w/ this app. Restoring a photo to original form or improving it, enhancing or just using the many phases this app has to turn one picture to so many aspects. I love it! Definitely a beautiful tool for anyone doing Family History, besides sharing with the family.

Big help with family photos!. I have been very satisfied with the outcome of my photos. I have 1000’s of photos in family albums. Photomyne makes it easy. Highly recommend this product. Also they have online seminars on various topics. if you miss one, they have links so that you can go back and look at it and enjoy it.

Lifesaver Before Funeral!. What a LIFESAVER this app was! I have never left an app review before but the night before my younger brother’s funeral, we had about 100 old photos to try to get into a digital slideshow. We were terrified of the process we had ahead of us in the middle of the night. Once I remembered this App, it made short order of the process and we were done. Super-WOW!

Great way to scan old family photos. I found this app right after my mom passed away and we have lots of photos to scan to share with other family members. The scan quality of the pictures is excellent. It even could fix old photos that had originally developed with a red tinge because of it sitting around for years before getting it developed.... the app deciliter them so they are close to original coloring!

Pretators. Decided to get this PAID app since I didn't want to bombarded with ads from free apps providing the same exact feature. Instead I'm getting pestered with relentless aggressive upsale from the developer every time I open the app. EVERY TIME. The developer doesn't even respect the users intelligence and forces you to click through the same walk through each time you want to take a photo. I read the discerning reviews of this app and thought it can't be that be but no... This is a honeypot for the upsale. Pretator developer! Avoid

It only changes pictures from B&W to color. I am very disappointed. It only changes pictures from black & white to color. It doesn’t do anything for the imperfections in the pictures. Even with the pay version of the app. I should have just used the free version, the pay version does not add any features . I used both the pay and free version and did not notice a difference. All it does is give you filters, any other app can just give you filters. I would not buy, just stick to the free version.

Great Photo Scanning!. Love this app! Allowed me to scan hundreds of treasures family pictures within a couple of hours, which would have cost a fortune had I used a service. The colorization of old black and white photos takes your breath away and brings pictures to life! Wonderful app!!

Amazing App!. This is a great app. I could not believe how it took old family photos and sharpen them and clean them up and then we can even ask me if I want to colorized. We spent hours just scanning photos and colorizing them just to see what would happen. It is truly a useful and entertaining with new family portraits going on the wall! JH

Awesome app. I started using the app to have a digital copy of old printed photos of my children. I quickly realized my parents had hundreds of old pics of me and my brothers that needed to be captured digitally. Then with the passing of a generation I realized there were old family photos that I would never see again if I didn’t get a digital copy. Love the app!!!

Amazing!!. We have tubs and tubs full of pictures of our family and ancestors. No one will ever keep up with them. This app will scan, correct and enhance pictures so easily. I am so happy I have this. I plan to scan pictures and make thumb drives of some precious memories to give as Christmas presents. Thank you Photomyne for this amazing app!

Worst app experience. I spent a week digitizing family albums after my father passed away last month. After digitizing 4,000 images, we have learned that we are unable to download them. Member support responds every couple days and each time it is a different agent, so each response is a new agent asking to hear about the issue all over again. It’s been almost two months trying to solve this. The worst part is being billed for the month spent waiting for member support to respond. Do yourself a favor and avoid this app. If member support is reading this, please give me my family photos. PLEASE!

Exceptional. I was going to send slides to place to get digitized. Then I found this app. I can go through a tray of slides in 2-3 hours. The option to take digital image by voice is absolutely fantastic. I got their light board too for about $35? And it works great. Have not been able to get the phone holder to work well. I paid for membership. Can’t recall price.

Fantastic App!. This app is fantastic and super easy to use! I love how it automatically crops the photos and can effectively tell borders and backgrounds to eliminate. Also, I just discovered the app can colorize black and white photos, which has been an absolute hit with my family! It’s also incredibly easy to share and save your scanned photos. Definitely get this app!

Disappointed with app and support. I paid a lot for this app. On the plus side I can take photos of multiple photos at a time. However, I turned on the cloud only option and now the photos will no longer save to my phone, only the cloud. I’ve set up a support call and I was never called. I’ve received support responses by email and was told once you turn on the cloud setting you can never turn it off. Support doesn’t seem to care about it honestly. Their response is just ‘once cloud only is in it is on’.

Best app ever!!. Ist tried this app on our wedding album (from 1966). It took me 10 minutes. Now our 4 sons & their families have digital copies of “the starting line”. My sister gave me boxes of old family photos b&w, sepia. I was going to scan a few but now I can’t wait. I tell everyone one I meet about this app. This app will definitely be adding features for more capability. One question for today. Can I add jpgs to my photomyne albums?

AMAZING!!! Best app ever to scan old photos!!!. So easy to scan old photos. App keeps track of them all and even fixes the photos color and tint The best part of the app...it can change black and white photos into color!!! I absolutely love it!!! This app is perfect for sharing the photos I’ve scanned with all my family members. Now we don’t have to fight over who has the photograph. We can all have them :-D

What an awesome app!!. I’ve been using Photomyne for about 6 months with over 1,000 photos scanned and it’s not only incredibly fast and easy but the quality is awesome. I have the new iPhone Xs so the combination is perfect. I also have a $600 photo scanner that I’ve compared photos scanned on it and Photomyne and there’s been plenty of times I chose the Photomyne scan over the other. I have my family hooked on it too. Scanning old photos faster than ever!. I tried another app and this one is worth the upgrade. I’ve been scanning my mom’s old photos from magnetic albums and this has made it go so much faster! Very easy to do and they turn out great. I’ve compared the quality vs my flatbed scanner and these are even better quality!

Fun app. The app is quick and easy to use I like the fact you can just hold the iPhone Over the photo and it crops for you nice feature. The colorirse feature was not as good as what it showed unless I did something wrong it did not bring as much color into the photo as it shows in the video. Overall fun app and very quick much faster than taking a photo of a old picture and cropping it.

Photomyne. I like the photo choices transferred or placed in contact reference. Fun to make choices in organizing photo. My favorites are all together when I need to show and tell! I look forward and excited to open my photomyne when I miss friends and family living away from home, it’s just a wonderful idea, well thought out idea! 5 star rated.

Love this app. I am amazed at the power of this scanning app. It does everything that I need it to do: scans a full page then crops photos into individual photos, it makes the photos clearer, it allows me to write names, dates and places. I made a video for my mom’s 80th Birthday with this app -it was so easy! They have also added a collage. Love love love this app!
