Why have rewards if I can’t redeem them?. I was unable to redeem a birthday burrito reward because I am in the immunocompromised group of people that can’t leave my house now due to COVID-19 and I was going to use DoorDash. So, why show me my rewards in the app if I can’t apply them upon check out? Very disappointed.

No updates. Useless. I’ve had a card for years and this app refuses to link to it. The app also refuses to link to any existing account I have. The app has also no been updated or optimized for any phone so makes me think they don’t care about having this at all.

Needs major improvements. The app kept closing and not allowing me to open it. So, I deleted and re-downloaded it. Now it doesn’t recognize my log in info. Frustrating, and a waste of time. CaliTort app let me know when you get yourself together.

App doesn’t work.. I put stuff in my basket, add my credit card and when I click on place order it says, “Data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the right format.” No matter what I do it says this.

My favorite restaurant. I order from here very often (once or twice a month) and always have an easy time ordering, and food is ready quickly and always very good!!

Great app!. Love it. Easy way to place an order. And I like the idea of earning rewards for eating at California Tortilla.

What happened??. App hasn’t worked for months. Doesn’t allow established login credentials and give no manner to reset password. Too bad, CalTort - you’ve lost a lot of orders from me because of this.

Rewards no worko. Lost a birthday burrito reward due to the closure of the restaurant from being able to walk-in. Would t allow use for curbside via the app or online and it has now expired. Thanks for nothing. Has been a horrid app since this release

California tortilla app. The California tortilla app is amazing. I love it.

App just let me order from a closed store. The app just let me order for pickup from a store that is closed. The order says “complete”, can’t be cancelled, and there’s no way to report an issue. I’ve just been robbed of ~$40.

User interface a little tricky. user interface on this app is a little bit tricky and not intuitive overall. But in the end I get the food I love so I can’t complain too much, overall very good.

Why all the security...? I just want a burrito!. I love California Tortilla but I don't get why I have to register 2x with a super-duper password just to order my burrito. WTH!! And then I have to log in every time. Can't you keep it simple people!

Worthless. Same experience as other review. When I try to make an account with the card I have had for a while, it just takes me back to the home page. Useless

App stopped working. App worked flawlessly until a few months ago. Now app image appears on the screen for an instant, then disappears. It never opens.

Food poisoning. I ordered a burrito bowl and noticed the pork had a weird taste and a slight pink color, i disposed after a few bites. It was the only thing I had eaten as i am a healthcare worker in a busy setting. I woke up at 4 am vomiting with diarrhea, i just got over covid 2 days ago and i cannot afford to miss work. Just thought you should be aware this is what your facility is serving!!! So disappointed 😞

Cannot open on iPhone since early 2023. Since early 2023, this app could not be opened on iPhone.

Salad dressing. Good food but they often forget to put dressing in my bag when I order a salad

Finally!. This is an amazing expansion to Cal tort and I'm very excited to see what's to come in future updates. I'm a long time fan and this is the birth of something beautiful.

Updated app doesn’t work. Crashes immediately when I open or try to check in, reinstalling doesn’t work. Did anyone test this before deploying?

Consistently awesome!!!. From ease of order, point system and our local shop, they make it real hard not to order on a nightly basis!!!

No reason to use the app now. Well since the only location nearest me stopped doing online orders, I have no reason to have this app anymore. Never mind the fact that I could never change my payment card information once I provided it.

Poor work flow. Picking out the food was simple enough but when it came to finalizing order problems occurred. After setting up credit card payment I was made to choose pick up time. No time was available. I tried to choose a later time but after several attempts at later and later times it finally allowed me to place the order BUT it made me reenter the credit card info again even though I had saved it earlier. I almost gave up but I felt I spent So much time I let it go through.

If it works, break it!. The recent reviews are right. This is now completely useless. I’m not even sure I know where my physical card is, it’s been so many years since I’ve needed it.

Great. I’ve had no issues with this app so far. Ordering is easy and smooth, no problems with paying, and food is always prepared on time!

App needs work. Put every option on one page. It asked me to select burrito or bowl. No visible option was present. Keep it simple, please.

Error prone. Keeps giving me errors when I try to order.

Curbside delivery location. If the CalTort has more than one entrance please indicate by directional sign to your curbside location. That would be most helpful. Food usually quite good but I take issue with these corn tortilla shells. Someone putting in too much liquid? It’s all mushy by the time I get home. Not just CalTort though.

Curbside. Ordering easy, love the food but why offer curbside when you bring me my food and tell me I have to go inside to get my drink.

Busted app. Tried to register with an existing card. Entered card number and it says "signing in" but doesn't really sign me in. If I go to "my account", the app crashes. Let me know when you release an app that actually does something.

Delievery. The app offered delivery for a $5 fee, but never assigned a driver to pick up the food. When I called the restaurant I was told the food was still sitting there, and they would not refund me. Do not use this app, as it promises services not fulfilled.

how do I get success and location doesnt get order?. Ordered a bowl, got email and in-app success. Went to Bethesda Cordell Ave, no order. They rang it and prepared promptly... but come on! this isn't why I used app

Pretty, but poor online order experience. I had high hopes for your online ordering, but was disappointed twice. I ordered from the Crystal City location mid-afternoon, and they didn't start until I walked in to claim it. Today I tried to order from Potomac while en route (from the Potomac page), and it ordered it from...Crystal City (they told me they cancelled it--they'd better). The web page the app linked to has no way to choose a location, and doesn't display it until after you pay.

Another disappointment for a mobile Order. I have had ordered twice since October through the mobile order. Both times, I did NOT select “no silverware” as I would be eating in my car. Both times I ordered the Screaming California Burrito as a bowl. Today, the second time, I ordered it and received no fajita vegetables. So I was lucky enough to have rice, chicken and cheese. SMH. When you order online or through the app, you have an inherent trust that the employee(s) would complete the order as specified, let alone the basic ingredients in a dish to be included. I don’t order take out a lot but when I do, I expect it to be correct. Not just from California Tortilla, but from every restaurant. I received the order through curbside and the bag was stapled shut. As a side note, I still had to call for the employee to come out to the car, which is a nuisance rather than going through the app like most pick up orders are done these days.

Nonfunctional. Tried three times to sign up for the burrito card. App home page is totally dead. Can’t sign up. Even Login link does nothing. Deleted and reloaded 3X. Does this not work with IOS 15.4.1? Useless app and I’ve missed out on so many points I could have logged. I guess just I’ll stop eating there until they fix it.

BEST BURRITO PLACE IN CHARLESTON. I’ve been eating here for a while now. It’s the freshest burrito place you can find! Heather is the sweetest lady ever which makes the restaurant experience 10 times better!!

Keeps Crashing. The app worked fine until just recently. Now it won’t launch at all - keeps crashing. Before this I had no issues with the app and it was easy to use. I’ve uninstalled it, restarted my phone, but still can’t use it.

Service. The restaurant clearly needs more help. Have ordered curbside delivery many times & each time i have waited and waited and then have had to call. Each time they have told me I have to come in and get it. If you are short on help you should not offer curbside delivery.

Not customizable. With this app, you can’t indicate if you want light sour cream or any modifications (with the exception of extra/no). When I added some notes, they didn’t even read them - pointless.

Why is there no way to tip with the app. Great service at the Olney restaurant. Too bad that there is no way to leave a tip when paying with the App... Not fair to the staff

So much for curbside. App gives option to order curbside but the employees refuse to come outside to give me my food. I had to go inside and go get it myself. Don’t offer curbside if it’s not going to be done.

Thanks, Caltort, for the fix. I’ve read that many Caltort fans have issues with the new app. I did also so decided to contact them directly. Their response was quick and they said they were on it with their app developer. Well, today, I signed in to check to see it was working, as I’ll be dining there for lunch and, lo and behold, the shiny new app seems to be working great. Thanks, Caltort!! You’re awesome!

Problem with App. I have downloaded this app twice and every time I try to open it, it won’t open! What is wrong with this app????

This App gets ZERO stars.. Since you can't give 0 stars I give it 1 (We'll give one star for at least attempting to create a convenient app... The app itself, however... 🤔 💩💩💩💩 5of5 poo's) This app is useless. Can't even log in... I've entered my card number ten times. Restarted the app, restarted my phone, nothing. So forget the cardholder part, checking points is not going to work. Let's try the online order... Oh, doesn't even find the location I enter. Lol, guess that's not going to work either. How about the nutritional guide section... Oh, the bowl I order every time I go there (for 4-6 yrs now) isn't on there? Can't say I'm surprised -even though it's an item on their menu... Well, I'll stick to using my card and I'll delete this app.

Horrible update. App immediately crashes upon opening

I love this place-hate the app. Love the food here-but the app is a disaster. The user interface is convoluted and I usually walk away frustrated and direct my business elsewhere. CalTort-we love you-fix this!

Limited Functionality. The app says it works with Apple's wallet, but I don't seem smart enough to figure out how to get it to work. They don't accept Apple Pay at their stores and you don't seem to be able to charge up an account on your card. They have some odd "give this code to the cashier" system which, I guess, puts points on your card. It's all less than intuitive and it's a very limited app. If you have space on your phone, download if you love CalTort. Otherwise, don't bother.

Super buggy. Looks promising but i can’t do anything bc every click generates a message “you have exceeded the allowable number of requests for this resource” message

Why did I bother trying?. Tried to register a card and all it does is crash. App also looks very dated like iOS 6 and iPhone 5 size, yet it was updated just a year ago. Very odd.

Tip Option Gone?. I ordered online for delivery and the tip function was gone. That’s terrible.

Just Updated/Now App Doesn’t Work. Just updated the app and it shuts down when trying to open it. Waited a few minutes, tried again now it requires me to re-sign in instead of automatically logging me in. When I attempted to have them send me an email for my username, an error message appears. As of right now I am locked out.

Broke since 2016 or earlier - avoid them altogether!. Can not finalize account as other reviews state. Has been like this since 2016!! Major reason why I don’t go back. If they aren’t fixing this and leaving it here broke, I can’t imagine what else they are neglecting when making food. Just erase this mess or fix it!! Don’t leave this broken mess.
