Not bad. A bit slow though, nice animations in battle!!

Connection issues/no pvp. But great otherwise. I've played this game for some time now, and it truly is fun. No cash grab either, which is extremely rare for a quality free game. However, the constant network issue is a bit of a headache. Every now and then they would fix it, but only to have it reappear. Also I should mention there is no pvp in this game. Kind of a let down. Add pvp, and fix network error and it'll be 5 stars. Also worth noting, the game gives you a ton of gem. No need to pay for anything. But considering how much you might enjoy the game you just might end up spending at least $2.99.

Decent until something goes wrong. Looks nice. Dragons crown style art. Similar to a lot of recent games in terms of play. I hit a bug at level 10 and have gotten no help to resolve it. They sent on email saying essentially " have you tried turning it off and then on again?" Beyond that there has been no communication despite several attempts. I've tried every thing I could think of including reinstalls, alternate devices, and even waiting through several patches. No correction. No communication. No recovery. No recourse. I'm really glad I didn't give them any money. Be extremely careful if you decide to play. Personally I recommend playing one of several others of this genre.

One of the few I actually spent $ on.. The makers did a great job! First off it is one of the few free to plays that isn't full of ads and pay to win. That in itself actually made me willing to give them a few bucks. Secondly, the different strategic styles you can come up with makes the game enjoyable for causal and hardcore gamers. The synergies between different skills really make for some crazy combos. Love it! Give it a try!

OK, not really a classic RPG. Have tried this a couple of times since it was new. Still lacks the capability of exploring a map, so it is too linear, not like the great old RPGs.

A really great game must give it a try. I've been playing this game for over a week now it has hours of good gameplay ---in app purchases are reasonably priced--- The developers have made the rewards very generous it is easy to get diamonds and gold really worth the time to play it too bad other people have had bad reviews however I am finding this game very worth the time and even the few dollars I have put into it that was not necessary since the developers have been so generous--- character dialogue is a little campy but it is fun to play a game that actually speaks to you without all the reading and cut scenes -- Thanks Gamevil for another fun game

Game gets 5 stars but watch out if you spend money. My son and I both play this game, and I had purchased several packages for myself successfully. About three weeks ago I did $100 package for my son to get a good start and they took our money, never gave items, we followed proper reporting and proof of receipt etc (4 times they requested it) and still nothing. I recently tried through my game and they took my money and gave no items again. I really like the game but feel scammed twice, out $200 bucks now.

Adept. The game is nice,trying to overcome the crashes. I played this game some years ago with same issues,that could be corrected with some good old TLC,so I'm working through it.

Great game. Greatness

Beautiful. The good: This game is beautiful and less annoying than most FTP. There's a $3 monthly card which is cheaper than most. It's fun without spending a dime, too. The bad: It's actually a really high quality RPG. I'm a little sad it wasn't just released as a premium game. The ugly: Some of the skills are written a bit Engrishy, occasionally to the point of blurring understanding. You occasionally are asked if you are SURE you want to do permanent things without the implications of that being clear. I'm looking forward to someone who figured it all out writing a guide.

It's a good game. Even I don't charge money, I still get good items

Great strategy game. Good game with excellent art that uses an ability based combat system with a "world ends with you" style ability system. FTP bs is kept to a minimum and the premium currency flow is pretty good without paying. There is also a timer aspect to gameplay where you can send inactive party members on mission a la mgsV. Overall a good game with a pretty good community. The one great stand out idea though is the chat icons at the top of all the skills, these bring up a chat log where players can discuss the abilities and compare builds its really a great idea.

Add auto. Modern day turn based rpg with no auto? Nonsense

Do NOT download this game!!!!!. UPDATE::: They finally fixed the load issue. All my progress was wiped out. Making me start over from the beginning. Yea, I'm done. All my people were about level 50, and for no reason it stopped loading so when it was finally fixed I have to start over?? Nope. Fk this game and this developer. I'm done with both. Download at your own risk. You'll love this game and then be devastated when you have to start over. Goodbye Chromatic Souls AND Gamevil. Now I'm boycotting you and GluGames for being shady POS. Been playing this for a month. Love it. All my people are level 40+. All of the sudden today it stopped loading. Title screen says LoadVersionFailed (0of2). Counts down from 5 and repeats. I've reinstalled, turned off my phone, used wifi and data and all combinations of those things. Same result. Typical. I actually find a game I enjoy and it just stops working. Fits right in with the rest of my life. If this gets fixed I'll update my review. But right now I'm super upset about this.

Fun game. Good story. Not a huge time sink.

Nice but pay to win model ruins everything. This game is fun at first but ultimately it is very hard to get good items without using gems. Evolving spells takes a long time and you never get good spells without buying them. They are fairly generous with the free gems which helps, but in the end I tired of getting the same useless items over and over and only being able to get the good items by using my gems. The pay to win model takes most of the fun out of the game for me. All in all I really like this game and recommend if you are patient and don't mind fighting the same battles over and over. The graphics are decent and the battles can be challenging.

Incredibly crafted!!. I am totally satisfied with what this game brings to the table. Incredible character design, a wonderful level of customization, a plot that grabs on and holds you from the first chapter. I could go on and on and on. I just cannot put this thing down. And I really need to get back to work too, "lol." If you are on the fence about giving this game a try, wait no longer. It will not let you down.

Addictive! In the best way. I played for more than 8 hours the day I downloaded it. I simply couldn't stop. So good. Best fun I've had fighting since Infinity Blade. And I'm not even a fan of games with this much fighting. The difficulty rises so fast that it is exciting but the gear rises fast as well, making me think I'm in God mode the whole time but really the battles are still a challenge. And I'm only on level 3. The premium currency is very easy to obtain. Very. Try this no matter what you feel about this genre of game. I bet you'll be hooked too.

Very pleasantly surprised. I download an obscene number of free apps and try them out for gameplay, balance, progression, and the weight of in-app purchases in the hopes of finding worth sticking with. A more recent development in IAP is the "monthly" card, an idea I'm not opposed to as it is a way to find further development and compensate the secs for their work. This apps monthly card is only $3, cheaper than many competitors and, what's more, I don't feel like the game pushes you toward paywalls as much as other games. There is a nice sense of progression, a decent story with voice acting, and the ability to progress players while offline through idle expeditions. Special dungeons and raids round out a surprisingly good RPG with a nice art style and fluid animations (at least on an iPhone 6). All in all I definitely recommend this game and have already purchased the monthly card to recruit more characters. Dive in and enjoy!

Exceeded my expectations. Very enjoyable to play....so far very F2P friendly as well!

Amazing... except:. After playing this game for a little while, I think it’s awesome. The art looks cool, the free stuff you get makes it easy to have a running start so it doesn’t feel like your locked at the beginning. The only problems I have with the game are the facts that the loading times can be a bit long. And the gacha system. Now don’t get me wrong the system in itself isn’t all that bad. But the fact that you have to rely on it to get so much feels a bit off to me. Unless I just haven’t reached that far into the game and there’s eventually a way to earn skills. I have noticed that the only way to get skills for characters is to use the gacha system in the store and hope for luck. If there was a way to earn skills. Like maybe hitting a certain level on a character gives that character a skill. It would be worlds above a lot of other games I’ve played.

Solid Game. This really is a solid game. The graphics and art style are different. Not pixels or anime, but a nice painting-like style throughout. The battle system is a good turn-based style, which is a nice break from the adventure-like games I generally play.

Really Just Awesome. This game has a unique charm to it. Paid content is completely optional. Gems come plentiful and free, quickly and regularly. Gifts are showered upon its players every day. You feel appreciated even when things are having issues. You want to give something to these kind of developers. The game itself has twelve characters that you have to earn eight of. The starting characters are incredible and you could go through the entire game with them if you desired all the way up to end content. But the other characters are so awesome looking with their art and their concepts and skills. It's so far, a great game to play actively and passively. I usually don't like gem/pay to progress faster games. But I haven't felt pressured to make a purchase yet. So I bought their little $2 daily gem bonus because I felt I needed to contribute out of appreciation.

Chromatic souls. Great game fun and easy to play for everyone. Great concept with Agro based tanks to healers and dps classes. I recommend this game for any rpg fans.

Characters???. Not many characters to get so it makes the game sort of boring.

Worth getting into. Amended review. Important to play on lower graphics settings if you play on a phone or you will crash often. Fun game. English resources are not plentiful, but the community is very helpful. Monetization model is classy, and one could have a decent experience as f2p (monthly card is $3, strongly recommend). There is a grindy component, which suits some but not others. Turn based combat with more strategic options than meets the eye at first glance. Give it a try!

!!. Can't stop playing

Better than expected. The combat is pretty good, which is necessary because that’s what most of the game consists of. Progression never feels too slow. Attractive art style, well designed characters and foes, satisfying sound effects. Basically, the atmosphere is good. The story is a bit generic, but who plays for the riveting storylines? Few minor complaints. Slow to load, unnecessary online, quality of like stuff like inability to hit “collect all” on rewards, and not all character are treated equally. I just want Isabel and Duku to have skins. Is that too much to ask?

Great RPG game. Storyline - The game has a good storyline and actually hooks up the player in it. Gameplay- Its a RPG, turn by turn based battle game. The game is very fluid although, some grammar error but very small problem in it. There are 10 characters in the game but you only have the 4 main characters. Although you have to purchase the rest, the game money(gems) are easy to get by doing milestones. There's still a lot of room for improvement but as it is now, it is great game already that has a lot of potential. Overall, the game is really great. It can be hard but that what makes it fun. If you like RPG games, this game is a must have!

$2500 spent. They screwed me.. I'm all about supporting indie games. But i spent over $2500 in chromatic souls and they screwed me over big time. They merged servers and stuck my hard earned geared chars in the Chinese server instead of global server. I live in Nyc. I don't know Chinese. I get disconnected every minute. My guild is gone. My friends are gone. My hard work and cash is gone. Why? Because they refuse or are unable to switch me back to the global server. This has gone on and on and "customer service" only tells me to that developers are working on it. Days go by and nothing. The lesson here is simple: if a guy who spent over 2500 usd in a "free" game gets ignored, imagine your future here. Lacking some features please add it !!!. I really love this game its one of the best and enjoyable games i have played on my phone, but please there’re some features that we really need in this game and some server fixes. •Feature to be added if possible: - Being able to use more than 5 scroll to enhance. - 10x draw for Fp and premium draws. - Purchasing more inventory room faster and easier than 5 at a time please. - And please this one !!! (Auto battle) !!! And the last one please fix the loading time its really too much!! Everything needs a 10-30 sec loading screen.

Good turn based game. So far I have been having fun!!! No constant push on in app purchases or need of them so far. The game provides you with gold and enough gems to get a few new hero’s. I would recommend this game if your into turn base fighting games.

A truly 5-Star game with MASSIVE potential.... This game has a phenomenal old-school RPG vibe with a modern twist... With some solid art, decent but not overly gushy story, and a great style of content delivery. Totally doable as a Free game and the IAP is not over the top either. What a great direction for Gamevil, they have some other pretty awesome RPG titles but this one is definitely a home run. Cant wait to see the direction this goes in, because remember- its basically brand new! Way to go gamevil for stepping up and challenging the status quo of mobile games

Great true turn based game!. I’ve been enjoying this game. Hard to find a good turn based game.

Slow battle scheme. I like the game but it is slow. As you play this game you start to think 2-3 moves ahead, but the turns are so slow (even in double time) that it is starting to lose my interest. Please add in 4x speed.

Great Old School Feel.. I can count how many reviews I have written on one hand but I felt compelled to give credit to Gamevil for creating this gem. I'm hesitant to spend loads of money on mobile games as I spend a lot of time playing games on my PC, but it is possible to thoroughly enjoy this game without dropping loads of money. Initially, you will find yourself swimming in gems. This eventually tapers off as does the gear upgrading. If you are a fan of MMos, the gear grind in Chromatic Souls is similar. Running raids or special events to get certain drops for certain tunes. It is done well and keeps you engaged. The game is surprisingly deep when you factor in upgrading your skills/spells and your equipment. There are numerous special currencies that you will seek to continue your quest to become more powerful. I strongly recommend this game to fans of old school RPGs, a la Wizardry, D&D Gold Box Series and the like.

Fun, But Beware of Temporarily Lost Data!. The gameplay is definitely fun and clever, and really I have no complaints in that; it's intuitive, has a number of strategic elements, and really reminds me a lot of the classic turn-based RPGs of the past. The array of different characters is really nice, and I really like the systems for evolving skills. The skills themselves are also really diverse, letting you use many different kinds of strategies. It's also awesome that the energy for quests is attached to the character, which encourages players to level up all the characters so all of them can be used for questing. The only issue comes up with certain updates. Sometimes the updates will glitch out the game, causing it to forget your account information and prompt you not to log in, but to make a new game completely. Meaning you have to uninstall and reinstall the game from scratch just to access your account. Aside from being time-consuming, the second time this happened, the data vanished completely. HOWEVER, I will give the support team credit on a very quick turnaround; within the same day the data was back, after maintenance. So if that happens, just wait it out a little while, it should return. If it still doesn't come back, ask support about it.

Great relaxing game. A lot of reward for premium currency by just playing the game. I really enjoy this and have been playing it when I have any down time during work for a couple of minutes and getting things done even within that time frame. Can be played continuously even with stamina per character because building up more characters come easy when they just keep gifting you the premium currency to purchase the small list. Hopefully more characters will be introduced in the future!

Good but.... I had so good game play going but for some reason EVERYTHING got deleted and had to start over. Gold is not an issue since they toss it out like candy on Halloween. Could be made to be a little harder. Not going to play more since I had everything deleted.

PERFECT. I love the variety, take turn style, AMAZING GRPAHICS AND ANIMATIONS, and how you can get every evolve everyday. Fast game progression, variety of character and ability choices. Having each character limited to 3 skill is excellent. It brings a challenge of picking what skills you need for that mission. NO AUTO PLAY. YES PLEASE. Most games have the auto play option, which destroy a game's potential by making it into a constant grind game, and not allowing you to fully experience the game, but here, there is no auto play and battles take about 5 mins or less each which is soooooo good. In game exclusive currency is fairly easy to get which keeps the game alive. I love it.

Where are the updates and extra content?. This so far is a great game. But there needs to be updates or something, because i have unlocked characters and i am trying to go through the added stories for end materials and such, but then there are half of the characters saying updates coming soon and months without any new content. But over all this is a great game just needs and update

I instantly fell in love with this game's traditional RPG gameplay and storytelling; which features just the right amounts of challenging content, multi-player functionality, and creative character development (incl. a wide variety of weapons, armor, and accessories supported by a detailed but not too complex upgrade system). This game has absolutely everything you could love and more: Hours of story mode gameplay, hours of post-story mode gameplay, weekly challenges, limited time dungeons, multi-player raids, regular updates featuring new content, an amazing in-game reward system and the list goes on and on and on ... ADDED BONUS: It's not riddled with trashy ads and doesn't attempt to force the gamer to fork over hundreds of dollars in order to advance the story, develop the characters, and enjoy the game. Honestly, it's the lack of emphasis on purchasing expensive in-game currency that makes me so comfortable with dropping a little cash to support the development team when they so very clearly put the gamer experience first.

Well developed. They have done a good job with this game, good graphics and game play. Story seems to continue on and is interesting. The tutorial isn't invasive and quite useful and the game play is fun.

Addictive little Role Play. Uh Oh, I am enjoying this way too much. Full of classic computer RPG tropes, it helps that I've played them before. The Fairy gives you guidance in how to play the game as you go along. There's just a few details I haven't pinned down how to do yet. I am enjoying equipping armour and actions/spells. There are different systems to enhance the armour and the spells. Drops are satisfying without giving you all you need all at once. The first Set of fights are nice and easy. The second and third Set increase the difficulty and make you work for your wins. I haven't figured out if I can revive dead characters yet, but it's not a permanent disaster if they die. I haven't had to buy anything with real money yet. I've acquired some extra characters. Grouping them up in sets of three; tank, healer, damage dealer, works well because you can send three off to automatically farm, while you play with three others. Graphics are nice. Battles are fun and turn based, which I enjoy.

Horrible support team. The game is pretty good, the support team is the worst. Someone hacked my account and was able to change my registration email without any conformation - game design flaw. After multiple attempts in contacting their support team, no one has gotten back to me in weeks. TLDR: play the game but don't buy anything as no one will help you if a problem occurs.

Great Game. Nobody lost their data in the update, just have to switch back to your server. Game is one of the best of this type. High production value and lots of interesting choices and strategic fights. Easy to free play as well, you get like 150 gems or more each week just from playing. I still pay $4/mo for some bonus gems, but I really feel it's unnecessary.

Still Great After The Update. For people reporting issues of losing their account data, the update seems to automatically have swapped to the Asian Server after it updated, just quickly finish the tutorial and go into Options and swap back to the Global Server and everything will still be there.

Great game for rpg lovers. Amazing graphics, great narration and story and awesome gameplay. Highly recommended.

Hidden gem. Been bouncing around looking for a good rpg for some time now. Was playing mainly fire emblem heroes. This game has game mechanics similar to knights of pen and paper and final fantasy feel. Characters are unique with blends of two class trees (etc. Paladin is both nature and holy). Many characters have unique skills that take a while to merge up, skills are scrolls that can be combined to tier up. Great customization for skill combos and anti-meta skills and characters are also effective.Ftp gems are really easy to get and legendary gear has a ~10%-15% drop rate which makes earlygame much easier. Plot is interesting but nothing crazy

Jan update is FUBAR. Game data has been eaten or ignored. HIV login unavailable because it forces me to go through the first tutorial which in itself is another problem. I am unable to even get past the first tutorial due to taps not registering. Suggestion to CS team: QA your product for regression bugs.

Great RPG! Recommend to everyone!. This is the game that I was expected for, nice character, beautiful graphic, very thoughtful design with plenty attractive and reasonable skills. It's even better with those skill combination which you can build your own strategy. A must play game!

Extremely addicting. This game is so fun I'm actually addicted to it now!! I stopped using drugs to keep this habit of mine! I lost my home, my family, and my dignity, but I still have my phone and CHROMATIC SOULS! If you see me on the corner by the highway on ramp give me some change, I need to buy more gems!!!!

Fun!. I don't usually write reviews but this game has great combat and addicting spell and armor customization and it all meshes really well. I'm lvl 21 and still haven't come up against any situations where you have to pay to progress and the timers are generous. I dropped some money on the game to show my appreciation and buy one of the extra character classes. So far I really recommend this title!

Old-school RPG FTW!. Finally something worth my time playing! Has deep rich mechanics (battle/equipments/upgrades/)! Voice casts are terrific! Can't complain for a F2P game :) Even if you don't have time to play, you can send your party on an expedition to gain valuable resources such as gold~ So this game practically keeps you busy when you're off and on your phone. Hope there'll be a wiki/guide for this game soon!

Fun rpg some pay to win aspects. While a lot of games are pay to win now a days I'm gonna say this one is pretty decent you can still get gear and advance just needed leveled unlike what you buy can be for instant level one Grind heavy is the biggest issue but the difficulty of the game later on is actually fun and makes you think on how your gonna make your next move although most of it is dps everything down

New Favorite Game!. This is ABSOLUTELY my new favorite game!! Such amazing character choices, skill index, and one of the best RPG/Turn-Based games I have EVER played! Buying bonus gems with money is purely optional, and you can have success in the game without have to spend big bucks! I have only spent $2.99 and I don't see myself ever having to spend more in the future! 5 Stars for sure for an extremely addictive and timelessly fun experience.

Interesting..... I don't normally write reviews, but this is a very interesting game. As like most RPG's, you have to take the time to grind out to raise your levels and generate your skills just like the old fashioned RPG. This is a fun game and I'm really enjoying it so far. If you like RPG's this is definitely a great way to go!

5 for gameplay, 3 for crashes. I've been enjoying the game a ton.. When it works. Often gets stuck on title screen or randomly perma-loading when you select something. Otherwise, fun mechanics, very fair and reasonable method of character advance,net that you don't feel you have to pay money to do well. Fix the crash issue and this is a 5 star game for sure.

Very good game. The gameplay is very fun and polished. Although the game is free with in-app purchases, the game never pushes the purchases on you. Compared to every other free game with in-app purchases, that aspect of the game is refreshing and automatically makes it better than any other similar game and I've played. Great game, great design, you can really tell that the developers/creators thought a lot about he used.

Very happy and surprised. For a free game, hell even if it was paid for, very good game. Nice blend of Brave Frontier and Summoner's War. Great graphics and special effects, and quite challenging right from the start. ONLY complaint is lack of options in heroes. You have 12 so far, pretty stereotypical types (tank, paladin, warlock, etc) and wish there was some race diversity. Beastial or draconic races would make this game truly shine. Definitely worth the time

Greatly Recommend download. This is a very Ideal RPG with a lot of great qualities. This game is almost perfect with minor mechanics that would surprise you about how significant it is. I can't put this game down and it is both cooperative and competitive when you invite your friends to play.

Just what I've been looking for!. I've been looking for a simple game to just play and grow with but throw me back to good old days of RPGs and this game has got me hooked! The depth of character skills and items is amazingly done and I really enjoy the friend aspect of being able to have another persons character join your party! This has been the time passer that I cannot put down! Awesome :D

pretty entertaining. like turn based wow, you can easily sink hours into this game. The battery drain is a little fast considering the game is fully 2D. Other reviews mentioned trouble with language but you can freely switch between different languages in the menu so I don't really have this issue.

Excellent. Battles take longer than expected and constantly having to wipe inventory however interesting story, multiple party options and simple design to allow smooth gameplay. Truly a turn based battle system

So far, so good. I've leveled up my main party to 30 and completed the first full map without having to spend any money. The game is pretty generous with rewards, at least at the time of this writing. The gameplay is quite fun, the story has decent voice acting and the art style is wonderful. If you enjoy turn based RPGs I highly recommend giving Chromatic Souls a try!

Only cause the big iPad doesn't crash. Beautiful graphics, I haven't hit a pay wall yet but only level 25 or so. Would get 5 stars if there were better explanations and proofreading. Almost gave it lowest possible rating while trying to play on iPad mini cause it crashed so often, but switched to a regular iPad and can go about 2 hours reliably compared to 75% chance of making through a 5-fight mission.

Nice Update. Good choice to install guilds, it makes raiding easier. The only flaws I can point out would that the soundtrack music would occasionally cut off - stop playing, and that the game is a little slow in loading and lags a bit more often, but otherwise, it's fine.

Great Game!. A great game that uses little data! It's very interactive and no pay to play required to have decent gear! I recommend for anyone looking for a reliable game to kill time. I have been playing it for almost a year and the updates keep it going

Great graphics!. Not the best dialog but u can play the single player as fast or slow as u want and the graphics and animations and characters are amazing. I haven't done any of the multiplayer stuff yet and I think there is a way to get ur stuff back if an update resets it. I haven't had any problems yet though besides addiction. Thanks..

Not another rpg screensaver. So far a pretty fun old school turn based combat game with the holy trinity of tank, healer and dps thrown into the mix. The iap seems pretty fair with an option to pay 3$ to have a daily allotment of premium currency. And best of all this is a game and not a combat simulator screensaver. I'm only into the 4th area of dungeons, but as stated, so far it's fun.

Addicting w/o ptp requirements. Great old school turned based rpg with fun skills and gear that upgrades that gives you chances for good stuff pretty early. Nice to not have to pay. Descent story mode. Also enough stamina where you don't have to wait every 15 minutes to play In short must try

Fun so far. I just started this game. I think it plays pretty well. I like the turn based combat and character designs. I want to see more ways to differentiate my characters from my friends though. Right now we can both have the Wizard but i might still use blizzard and my friend might use meteor. I like that the designers ask for player input for new character designs. For what it is, it is pretty good.

Par Excellent. Been playing for couple weeks now and I must say, I have been enjoying my time with it. I really like the "add friend" features and the amount of skills available. One thing I have to mention is... when you select the "details" text/button . Some on the recommendations are not correct, seems like a bug. Anyways, keep it up and good job👍🏼

Great game. This game is whelk thought out and very entertaining would like more games like it. The only problem I experience is it suddenly shutting off on me perhaps cause it maybe to much for my iPad to handle if it weren't for that this game would be almost perfect.

Definitely worth playing, needs work though.. Great graphics, exciting gameplay, pretty bad story, terrible translation. They really need to hire someone to work on the text descriptions for certain skills. Sometimes I can't even tell what it does! The good news is that there are comment sections for each skill where you can find more info about it. Don't let that stop you from playing though. This game is a ton of fun!

New Favorite Game. I've never liked old school dungeon crawlers because the spell animations bored me and this game fixes that problem. The only thing I wish the game did was change the look of your character when you promote them.

My favourite App. This is an outstanding application. Extremely fun, pleasant to look at and above all full customization. I have yet to experience the feeling that these characters aren't mine. Unlike many other games this one gives you a reason to play constantly. It's by far the most fun I've had on a game like this. I'd highly recommend it, gamevil^tm did a wonderful job.

Addicting and fun. A very accomplishing game, very fun as there is always something do. My only complaint would be that the guilds need a bit of re-working and new features... However I'm sure the active group of developers is thinking of that.

Gorgeous. So far, for a micro transaction game, this is absolutely beautiful. Well done on the art team behind this app. For those who enjoy a turn-based rpg I can easily say that this is worth checking out! I've explored over three days and haven't grown bored of the game yet.

Awesome. This game is definitely something different that's not only amazing but consistently entertaining that does not force you to pay to play which is something rare to see on the App Store these days. I give this a 5 star hands down!

Worth your look. I download free game apps like cheap gum & just as quickly they usually loose their flavor & I simply end up discarding them. However, this game has a little more flavor to it than most & is worthy of a serious look & some equally serious playtime. Enjoy!

Enjoying this so far. So far this has been a fun game. Characters are varied and there seems to be decent story line. The voice acting is acceptable and the art is really nice. I'm still in the lower levels but I have yet to feel the pressure of needing to buy anything to progress.

Not a bad game. There could be more characters, spells, weapons and such, but it's a pretty fun game! Starts off a little slow, but once u build up, it's fun! The only thing I don't like is that you are held for ransom if you are at the end of a hard level or you will have to start over. Make it the same amount of gems to revive instead of increasing and it would be a lot more fun!

Level 25 and not push for money. Game is pretty deep for a Free to Play, good RPG mechanics and character development. I'm currently around level 25 and no pop ups or requests for my money. They seem to let the game speak for itself, and that's a good sign for me. Look up 'Charidarn' for a friend request and we'll run a Raid together.

Don't download. Each patch they add breaks this game even more. You need to constantly force close the game for it to even work. Chat system doesn't work. This game is very pay to win. Half the tooltips are in Chinese and the ones in English are so poorly translated you still don't even know what the abilities do. With the latest patch they took away what little endgame this game had. I normally love these rpg grind games where you min max characters. But this is just impossible to play right now. Terrible game.

Not bad. It is an interesting game . Accounting policy also not bad. However , a strong feeling we have not yet completed . A future continuation , it seems it is necessary to meticulous updates . And than go along too meta , in the direction to raise the color of your own management is it also good to gamers , even to the company .

Solid RPG, minimal pay. I love the art style and game mechanics of this RPG. Easy to do a lot without paying, but a good deal to buy the month long gem bonus. Needs an update to address some lag and sometimes unresponsive buttons. I'm playing on iPhone 6 Plus and iPad pro so plenty of power to run this game, seems like the network connection to gamevil/hive may be the culprit in lag. Other than that I'm enjoying.

Awesome game. The game was surprisingly balanced. You don't have to ptp to get anywhere in the game. It does help to buy the monthly card but not required, it plays like a good turn based game should and allows you to develop the characters you want to for the most part

Really well done. Normally I don't expect much from iOS games but this one surprised me. The graphics are well done and it's well versed in all aspects of an turn based game. There are many things I can go on about but I prefer to let the gamer come up with there own thoughts about it.

Surprisingly fun!. I expected this game to be crappy despite the reviews, but it is a great game! Fun and a decent skill cap, and though there is an energy system, it barely effects my game time. Give it a shot! Actually a other thing that surprised me is that I expected all of the females to be sexy for that sex appeal factor. But in pleasantly surprised that it is t overflowing with it. But of course it does have it on stleast 3 of the 12 characters I've seen.

Pleasantly Surprised. I am always wary of games that desire me to spend my money to gain advantages that are otherwise unattainable. I haven't run into that problem with this game. Everything that I have done thus far can be done without spending a dime. The graphics are lovely, bringing to mind some of my favorite JRPGs like Suikoden. I am still learning, of course, but I'm having a lot of fun while doing it! Plays wonderfully on my iPhone 6 Plus.

Thoroughly entertaining!. For me games only keep me engaged for the first couple of levels, this game enthralled me through its entirety. I hope that all those who have had their games freeze and wiped the issue can be resolved but for me this game has been A+!

Great game, super fun, hope for upgrades. This will be a 5-star game once they improve the multiplayer/social aspect and add guilds. For now it's very fun and addictive with nice graphics and battle mode. Some storyline too. Easy to play for a long time without spending money, I only just spent $3 to get a new character. Hoping to see this game develop a lot!

Fun, but issues. I'm so glad this game is receiving updates, especially new characters and content. That said, as can be expected, there are some issues with the update. The sub story for the paladin won't progress past the second stage and the game will sometimes either crash or begin running at a very low frame rate. I have an iPhone 6 so this the frame rate can't be explained by weak hardware.

Instant RPG Classic!. Great graphics, easy game play, interesting storyline. This scratches that RPG itch but in a mobile platform. Non-complicated talents, skills and abilities. Great range of character choices. No need to worry about paths to take your character. Doesn't require a lot of in-game currency to play the game. This is what all "free-meium" mobile games should be!

Great game. An amazing Game for those that like old school RPG style games. It's fun,simple, tactical and challenging for more grindy players. One suggestion for improvements would be to add 1 more skill slot to characters for a more customizable and less restrictive feel. Having only 3 skill slots feels frustrating when you have access to so many cool abilities.

Very fun. Very fun turn based game. Great art. Gems are used to unlock characters and for drawing better skills/gear. Don't really need to spend money on gems since achievements give a lot and at lvl50 you can obtain 200+ gems easily through a competitive ranking system.

I'm hooked. I was looking for my next game after Heroes Charge got stale and stumbled on this game. I love it. Purchases are optional - which means I've spent cash already - but truly not necessary. Graphics are nice - and I enjoy the fact that the sound isn't needed but isn't awful if you choose it. Welcome to my new addiction.
