Twisted Tangle Comments & Reviews 2026

I Like It, But…. I enjoy the app and the game is addictive and fun. I have not noticed any glitches thusfar. I don’t mind the temptation to purchase more hearts/time, and the ads aren’t terrible exactly (though that’s not saying much). My issue and the reason why it’s not getting a full 5 stars is that when I’m in the mood to play a game app, I’m already killing time, so to have my choices be to pay money or play something else - I’m going to keep choosing to play something else. One strictly timed round every 30-minutes is not enough to get or keep me in the groove, nor enough incentive to pay. Clearing rounds also doesn’t accumulate enough coins to “purchase” more time in any calculable way, so it’s not really helpful either. So as it stands, I guess I’ll be playing one round per day, if I’m in the mood, more if some hearts accumulated overnight, but then moving on back to solitaire or my knitting.

Was enjoyable until it became impossible to win…. I was enjoying this game fairly well up until I hit level 700. Yes, there are a lot of annoying pop-ups with this game—especially with always asking you to watch ads for things. There should be a “don’t ask me again” option. I don’t mind sitting through the occasional ad here and there, but being constantly asked to do it is very annoying. Also, really think the emojis are a crappy detail. And don’t even get me started on the issue with placing the pegs—I’ve lost levels because the darn thing won’t be consistent. You know where I’m trying to go, stop bouncing around! Puzzle games are some of my favorite games to play, and while I love a good challenge, making something impossible to beat without having to buy more time is just ridiculous. The “hard” and “very hard” challenges were usually the really frustrating levels with lots of easier levels in between that made the game nice and relaxing to play (more or less), but once I hit level 700 even those became next to impossible without buying more time. It’s just so disappointing. I don’t need my games stressing me out more than I already am, and I just wish they’d give you more time or a no-time option all together. All this has made me go from playing daily to hardly at all now. Will likely delete soon. So disappointed.

Fun…Til’ It Wasn’t!. I was excited for this game and really started to enjoy it. I would have liked some rules, like why do bands turn colors or don’t apparently go into some holes but also what the bonus things do. Make sure to read everything and be super careful NOT to “accidentally” hit the buy 20 seconds for 900 points, that ate away my points three times because I was playing on my phone and hit the button by mistake. Takes way too long to earn points, ads are ridiculous, and I have no problem paying for an Ap to get through levels but there are levels that even with purchases you can’t pass. And give me something when I spend money. To pay and get two items but it will take you 5x’s that to possibly use to win is ridiculously greedy. I love a good challenge and enjoy puzzle games but the timer is ridiculous and makes the game stressful and more of a race game. Limited moves to make it a challenge or give that as an option would make this better. Although, some game glitches kept me from even moving into an open hole. I just got frustrated and mad….those are two very big reasons NOT to play this game. I want my games to be a distraction and fun. I deleted it but am still grumpy and came back to write a review because it had so much potential. After seeing a bunch of other reviews, guess I am not alone!

Good game … but. I really enjoy this game, but I am only giving it two stars because of the placement of the continue game button. When I play the game, I don’t watch the clock, I just try to finish. But when the clock stops, it immediately takes you to the page that has a giant button that charges you coins if you want an additional seconds. If you want more time, then you just press the button, but most of the time, I’m not even given a choice because of my finger placement during game play. Depending on where my fingers are during play, when it immediately switches to the page asking if you want more time, my finger is on the button that charges me coins to continue playing. I don’t even have a choice. It’s so frustrating. I’ve lost thousands of coins this way. When I tried to get support, it would not go through. For these two reasons, this is a two star rated game for me.

Complex doesn’t mean fun. I really use to enjoy this game. It was my largest past time and I’d play non stop; at work, transit, watching tv and anytime I needed to do something with my hands. I would totally get lost in this game and in a week would pass 100 levels or more. I’m nearly at level 700 and would’ve kept going. Back then I would’ve given it 5 stars, but since this new update… 2 stars. In order to pass ONE level there 3 levels within it. It’s so hard for ZERO reason. I can only assume they did this because now you are more likely to need coins or gifts to pass levels. This means spending more money. They have taken ALL of the fun out of the game and it’s impossible to loose yourself in it. I’m sadly going to need to give up the game and find another. If anyone has recommendations for a game that doesn’t change up the main way it plays suddenly, please lmk!

Another Good Game Ruined by Ads. I really enjoy the game, so much so that I shelled out $8 to remove ads. However, you can’t escape the ads bc some levels are near impossible without needing to use some extra thing that requires you to watch ads or shell out more money. I wouldn’t mind so much if the ads weren’t so long (at least a minute) and don’t come with a mute button. Also, the gameplay is a bit hinky. Sometimes, the sucker won’t stick even when the circle lights up showing it can be placed there. Other times, the string will spring back into a position that makes no sense but manages to twist everything into a mess, I can only assume that’s on purpose to make the game harder. I’m enjoying it now, but my frustration with ads and difficult play will eventually make it no longer worth the effort and I’ll go find another ad-heavy game to play for awhile and then delete. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I would pay $ for an untimed version. I got this game after seeing it in an ad. It seemed like a relaxing game to ease the mind, so I downloaded it. I was bummed to see the game is timed. It’s kind of relaxing at first when it’s easy and there’s plenty of time, but as the game progresses it simply becomes stressful and frustrating and makes me want to just delete it. If there were an option for a relax mode, I would definitely pay money for that, and it would undoubtedly be one of my favorite apps to pass the time or wind down at the end of the day. But due to the timer, I rarely want to ever open this app. I think this company is missing out on a great money making opportunity by not offering an untimed option. I’m sure I’m sure the majority of people looking for an untangling game would buy that option, and use the app much more. Give the people what they want! So if you’re in the mood to play a fun detangling game that eventually makes you feel almost more stressed and anxious than your real-life troubles, then I guess this is the game for you.

Ultimately, too expensive. I really enjoy this game. I actually paid to have no ads because the ads were so ridiculously long. It was taking away from my enjoyment. I don’t mind paying for no ads when I’m really enjoying a game. My complaint is that there are so many hard levels, and it is next to impossible to solve them without paying for extra time. And the extra time costs 900 coins. But winning a level only pays you 25 coins. So I was constantly having to purchase more coins in order to buy more time to solve the harder levels. I think 900 coins for extra time is too much. And if you try to solve the hard levels without paying for extra time, you only have five lives and then you either have to buy lives or stop playing for a while. I’m just going to delete this game. It’s a shame, because this game really had potential. The developers are just too greedy.

I like the game but purchases are stupid. As someone who has been playing this game from time to time and have spent money on it do not buy any no ad packs. I didn’t realize that they charged a dollar per day (or 24hrs) for no ads which is stupid ($30 per month or more) instead of just having a flat rate for a whole month or lifetime which I’ve seen many other apps do. Also sometimes the game gets buggy which could make it worse for you when one rope you’re about to untangle glitches under another rope for no reason and forces you to lose time which in then turn makes you lose a heart and the level and have to start that level over again. I like this game but come on a 30 dollars a month for no ads and also the glitches? Do better.

Free???? It will eventually cost you to play and it’s not cheap.. I absolutely love the game, but the price to continue is going to cost you in bucks and/or frustration. You’ll end up having to to keep playing the same game over and over until you FINALLY WIN without having to pay $. To continue to keep playing, you have to spend 1st 900 points, then if you fail, it’s going to cost you 1900 points to keep playing to win to get points or rewards. It takes forever to build up any points. Most of the time, it’s 15-30 points at a time. Ridiculous payout. The ads are long and annoying, so you’re going to want to pay to get rid of the ads….$7.99. The best thing going is the scissors to cut a rope. The game is very stingy with those as a reward. I’m up past level 221. You basically have to win 4 games in a row to beat the game and win a reward. You’ll get very tempted to pay their high price for so few points, considering you spend 900 at a pop if you don’t win the first time. One last note on this game…they have ads on my other games and I can’t close them out so I just end up stopping that game and going on another game that hasn’t been hit yet with their ads. I don’t play games a lot, but when I do, this is the only ad that is sooooo annoyingly impossible to close out MOST of the time.

I used to love this game. Now…. With the advent of the timer, which can’t be eliminated, this game has dropped from on I played on a daily basis to one I only play occasionally. I like relaxing games, especially ones that challenge my ability to figure out a puzzle. It’s the reason I enjoyed the game so much. The timer ruined the game for me. Now all the relaxation is gone. The timer makes many levels a scramble to get complicated tangles undone before the timer runs out. Not at all relaxing. I just spent at least 5 times adding 20 seconds onto a super hard level rather than having the opportunity to plan out my moves. The cost doubles each time for a piddling 20 sec. How about adding a no timer option? There are those of use who want to play relaxing games. With NO TIMER. Once I end up using all my coins I’ll delete the game. I do purchase items in games I enjoy. I won’t be purchasing anything unless there is a no timer option added back to the game.

Mostly good. This is a super fun game, I’m fairly addicted it it, if you want a simple game and like untying knots, this is for you. Very colorful and there’s tons of fun relaxing levels with some challenging levels. Buy the upgrade, ad free mode, it’s worth it. The down side is that sometimes you get a bug that prevents you from moving anything, even if there is plenty of slack. Usually restarting the game fixes that bug but it does mean sacrificing a life. Most levels are great where you have plenty of time left and others have short times and are clearly set up to make you spend money. I’m not a fan of the 1min limit. I barely make it halfway untying and if after running out of lives on one level multiple times… I contemplate deleting the game. Lol. But again I’m fairly addicted…

Ba-Bye!. The developers need to work on this game some more. I really like this game but I’m going to need to delete it. I’ve been on level 99 for well over a week. The time allowed for the level simply isn’t long enough. I can’t ever get to the last section of ropes to figure them out because time runs out. You do the same moves over and over but don’t have enough time to finish the level. I refuse to spend money on games. If there were other ways to earn coins to extend the level time that would be great. Maybe daily bonuses to save up coins to extend the time on a level, something to help. At this point I would need to spend money to make it past this level. I simply refuse. It’s too bad because I do like the game, but it has become too frustrating and not relaxing at all. Why continue when I’ll never make it past the level. It is the very definition of insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. The reality is that I won’t make it past this level without paying money for more time. Ba-Bye!

Fun but …. The games fun. Gets you to use your brain. Move your phone around to see different view points. But I think it’s absolutely stupid how expensive everything is. You have to buy more lives for 900 coins but each passed level is only 15 coins? So then you get tempted to PURCHASE coins. And the time limits are ridiculous and don’t count down correctly (we’ve clocked it) and it takes half an hour for 1 life to come back. I think they’d benefit more if each level gave you more coins (like I’m on level 64 and still only getting 15 coins when I complete a level … same amount as level 1. Seems stupid) it’s also incredibly annoying and completely unfair they most the time when you go to stick an end of a rope somewhere, it won’t go there. Not because there’s no more slack. But just because the game glitches and you have to waste time trying to stick it several times. It’s a good concept. But poorly executed.

Ads are killing this game. This game is actually pretty fun but there are some things other than the gameplay itself that are killing this game for me. By far the worst part about this game is the ads. They is a 30 second ad that takes multiple clicks to get through after every level which takes 30 seconds - 1 minute to complete. This means that about half the time you spend in this app is watching ads and half the time is playing the game. This is a terrible ad to gameplay ratio! And i am not going to pay $7 to get rid of ads, absolutely ridiculous, this game is not at all worth $7. $1 would be reasonable. There are other things I could mention but they aren’t even worth addressing until less ads are implemented. With the current state of the ads I can’t recommend this game to anybody, fix the ads and it might be a different story.

Super fun game, but not worth $7.99. I really enjoy the challenges on this game, but it’s really frustrating that you only get 5 lives. I even paid for the ad-free version, thinking that would extend lives since that’s the case on other games I’ve played, and you still only get 5 lives. Some of the levels are pretty difficult, so it’s frustrating to be stuck on a level for so long. For $7.99, there should be more perks than not having to watch 10 seconds of an ad before moving to the next level. Plus, there are still a ton of ads to watch, unless you are willing to spend even more money for coins or tickets. I’ve tried watching the ad to get 15 minutes of unlimited lives multiple times, and even though the ad says reward granted, I’ve never actually been rewarded with the unlimited lives. In short, I love the game itself, but I want more lives.

Progress Difficult. I enjoy this game but progress is definitely difficult. There are few ways to earn coins, and then it costs 500 to 900 coins to buy a little extra time. And so far I haven’t found ANY way to earn more boosters and buying them is nearly impossible because they cost thousands and, as I have said, coins are difficult to accumulate. I was moving slowly on my iPad so, I decided to open another game in my iPhone. Interestingly, more lives or extra time costs 500 coins on my iPad but, it costs 900 coins on my iPhone. Why the discrepancy? It makes no sense. Hard and very hard levels are difficult to pass but, with patience you can do it. I am on level 99 after a few days. I have not decided whether to keep the game or not. But for now I will continue. Developers . . . If you made it a little easier to progress, people would be willing to spend more money. But I for one am not willing to spend money on every difficult level that comes up.

Not as relaxing as it was without timed levels. I paid the full price for this game because it seemed intriguing, I like puzzles and like to destress. Then they became timed puzzles. Which is completely unnecessary in my opinion and now just causes me anxiety. I'm not going to pay more money for small amounts of time to get passed level 272 knowing that this is what is to be expected moving forward. I burned through all my earned coins and still didn't get passed it. I feel like I paid for the game already why do I need to pay more to keep going? I had known there were timed levels I would have passed on the purchase. There are many more enjoyable games that can be solved, don't cost anything or nearly as much. All in all disappointed and feel I wasted my money. Also, it has glitches and that waste time and precious seconds this game requires do to its touchiness. Over it.

Fun and Addicting BUT... So it is so much fun and addicting especially if you have ADHD. But don't bother with the ad removal--for every single thing you'll still have to watch ads. new skins-ads. New pins-ads. Extra coins-ads. level boost-ads. it most definitely is NOT worth $8! you don't really get anything! Next let's talk about the timer- i get a timer in games but most give you 2-3 minutes to figure stuff out... less than a minute is ridiculous. kids have trouble beating it-as an adult i just barely come in under it! i'm constantly having to get them past a level. Upgrades are awesome- if you have any hope of getting them before getting old. good upgrades 4-5k in coins which would be fine if you didn't make 20-30 a level ugh. They make a fun game way more stressful than they should. i gave it 3 stars because it is fun and the graphics are good especially compared to others

Waste of space. If you can manage to get past the 8 dollar ask price for ad removal, which is after every stage whether you complete it or not, then if you can manage to get past the fact that the game has lives which are spent whenever you don’t complete a level, which you have to pay for, then after that if you can manage to get past the fact that the game runs like garbage on iPhone and the levels are TIMED, so you helplessly watch the time tick away while you are unable to interact with the puzzle due to your phone becoming a fireball after some of the ‘hard’ levels, it’s still garbage. And those ‘hard’ levels are only semi entertaining to begin with, as the puzzles are usually two, three, or four of the same set of strings, spread across a larger board. Get out the Mac for this one I guess, but at that point there are better games you can buy for less than the 8 dollars necessary to make this game almost worthwhile.

Not enough moves…. I’m on level 321 and I love this game. Figuring out tangles is tons of fun and great for my 71 year old (tomorrow) brain! But I’m finding that the boss challenges no longer have the number of moves required to solve many of them. Just as I’m getting close to solving, I run out of moves…and for the last five boss challenges, not even watching ads for 8 moves are not enough! AND WHO is the genius (NOT!!) who has started putting loops with no moving ends? That costs too many of my moves…so I lose now! Come on now, staff; play nice here! Invent something that rewards me for good playing; create a circle ⭕️ that if I free a tangle with/using that circle ⭕️, two sets of tangles disappear! Thank you for a game that engrosses me with the gameplay. (Please, not so many 🚫circles in one game…🤔🤔)

Fun but needs work. I actually love the concept of the game. Thoroughly enjoy the challenge of untangling the ropes. That part gets a no-brainer five stars. With that being said I am frustrated and disappointed that it is quite limited. Why are there no life rewards? And I do take advantage of the free offers which is to watch minutes of ads’ videos to get fifteen minutes of play only to have the “free” fifteen minutes to be eaten up by more videos. Free play should be just that—free time to enjoy the game—especially when one watches ads to get it anyhow. And the gosh-awful amount of time it takes to get another life!! I mean really? 30 minutes for each new life? I can deal with the ads okay. But waiting hours just to have five lives back— pfft!! I enjoy the game but it gets a bit repetitive and redundant. And, no, those two words are not interchangeable!! The game could be a fav for many if it was more consumer friendly. Just add some perks that are actually attainable! And I even looked at buying some of the coins, etc. but that is limited—needs more variety. I hope my suggestions don’t fall on deaf ears or blind eyes. You got a winner in this game if it has some serious tweaks worked out. I’m staying for a bit longer but as with many others that I have read their posts—-it is limited to how long. Hoping for some change!

It went from fun to expensive. This used to be a very fun game. The puzzles were easy and only challenging when they had to be. You used to be able to have to watch a ad to get more time, or watch an ad to get more tokens, or watching ad to get some boosters. But recently they got rid of everything that made this game fun. There are no more daily rewards, there are no more ads to extend the game if you run out of time, and there are no more challenges to try to win more rewards. Plus the amount of coins that you win after a game is only 30. It cost 900 coins to keep the game going if you run out of time. Which means you have to play 30 games just to get enough coins to extend one game for a couple of seconds and buy a couple of seconds I mean 20 seconds. This game is no longer fun. It no longer makes me want to play. All this game does is beg for more money. I can deal with the ads here and there. But I can’t deal with the fact that all it ask for is money. This game is basically a hole in the pocket. If you download this game, I hope you have a lot of money cause that is what’s gonna take to advance.

Like most games: too many ads. I was all set to write a review about how the ads weren’t that bad, really, that there were optional ones you could watch for rewards but that was about it. And then I hit level 70something and it started: puzzle, ad, puzzle, ad, puzzle, ad! Couldn’t even build up the goodwill a bit more by easing the transition with an ad after five puzzles or so, could you? You just had to dive straight into an ad after every puzzle! The puzzles aren’t that long (especially with the sometimes insanely-short timers they have), so having an ad after every puzzle is too much. I’ll have to think about whether this game is worth the $8 blackmail to avoid ads. I certainly have games I enjoy more that asked for less money. For now, playing a puzzle and closing the game when the ad starts works pretty well, but how long before I “forget” to open it again? So many app devs think they’ll get us hooked enough or frustrated enough to be willing to fork over money, failing to consider the possibility that they’ll just annoy us enough to walk away.

Battery Usage. I really liked this game a lot so I bought the ad free version. I liked how they didn’t take the commercials all the way away. You can still watch videos for coins or boosts. My problem came with the battery usage. I installed it on my iPad and my cell and instantly I noticed a difference. I tried closing the app when not in use while I waited for hearts to rebuild but it didn’t help at all. I had to uninstall it, 40% battery usage after just an hour of my regular usage, is too much and unhealthy for the battery. I took it out of the iPad first to see if it was the culprit and my battery went back to normal. So I took it off the iPhone too and the same thing happened. So I am sorry about the 3 stars because I really enjoyed the game and I would reinstall if they directly address this and fix it.

Good game… with some issues. I quite like this game, but have some problems with it. Firstly, it runs my phone (4 month old iPhone 14, battery health 100%) very, very hot and drains the battery faster than streaming movies. If I am charging the phone while playing, it will pause the charging due to overheating. After about 10 minutes, my unplugged phone, in a case, will leave the side buttons quite warm, and if I play for 15-20 minutes, they are almost too hot to touch. As other reviewers mentioned, for the challenge levels and boss levels, there often aren’t enough moves, relying on adds for extra moves (draining and heating further) The rate that the ‘lives’ refill to play the challenge levels is far slower than unlocking those levels. You have to spend a life to play it, win or lose. And since I prefer the harder levels, it is frustrating, as I don’t want to pay for extra lives. I would play this game more if it weren’t for the issues

Ok but could be improved. In the beginning, I had a lot of fun with the game. There was no timer and it was simply trying to undo tangles. As you proceed, the game obviously gets more difficult. Other barriers are slowly added to make untangling more challenging. However, after a certain number of levels, the untangling becomes timed. There is no way to go back to “easier” levels and no way to get around timed games without needing to pay for infinite lives or hoping you have accrued enough coins to pay for work arounds. I really am not a fan of timed games in general and wish it was at least possible to go back to earlier levels to just play the untangling parts. Or to have an option of toggling between easy and difficult instead of forcing timed games. I may be in the minority in this desire though.

Glitchy rope placement. I really want to like this game, but every so often (usually when you’re trying to finish a Very Hard level ☹️) the game won’t let you move any of your pieces! It acts like they’re all immobile, or caught up in too much tension when sometimes there’s NOTHING touching that piece at all! I’ll have fully untangled a knot and I’ll spend the last 30 seconds of my timer trying to move one single piece from its spot. You need to fix this as it’s absolutely infuriating. The amount of levels I’ve had completely solved and just had to uncross one last set of ropes to win and my timer has run out because I’m sitting here dragging the piece over and over and over and over again for it to keep putting the piece back in the spot where I clearly don’t want it. An absolute oversight.

This USED to be a really fun game. A few months ago, significant changes were made to the gameplay experience. Overall, they made the game more exciting and challenging. However, they have also made the boards nearly un-winnable. I was somewhere around level 526 when the changes were made. I had over 15k coins, which were all taken away in exchange for a few boosters. Those boosters were consumed in short order trying to pass the super hard levels. Unfortunately, it’s extremely difficult to earn additional coins, and later boards only offer about a minute of gameplay. Even if you know how to untangle the ropes, that will only be a fraction of the time it takes. The booster packages mostly include coins (which will be quickly burned through at 900 coins for the first 30 seconds, and 1900 coins for additional time beyond that). Scissors, fans, and time freezes would be more useful, but only if you’re willing to spend $6 for one of each, or $10 for two of each. The game has gone from a relaxing pastime to a frustrating money grab.

Way too many ads to enjoy the game. Within the first 5 minutes of playing this game, I had 4 pop-up ads. It's not consistent, either. It's not every _ minutes, it's not every _ levels. I counted having a pop-up after I completed 3 levels, then another after I completed 2 (which was less than a minute after the last!) The amount of pop-up ads is WAY too much and too often to even get a good feel for how the difficulty of the game may progress. $7.99 to remove pop-ups is asking quite a bit when I wasn't even able to get through 10 levels without those 5 ads. I definitely don't mind the banner ads at the bottom since they don't get in the way of the game, but I was really disappointed that I can't even enjoy the game at all. I understand people need to make money from their games, but this is way too much. Definitely a game I ended up deleting after 8 or so levels and 5 minutes of playing 😕

Very buggy. Game can be nice and challenging but the bugginess can make it just impossible at times. Literally finished a level and the game just kept the timer going and didn’t credit me the level as done. Burnt a life redoing it for no reason. Fortunately it was an easier level, otherwise I would’ve been very angry especially if I’d have spent money or one of the special moves to finish it. Also, game seems to get stuck and no matter how precise you move the yarn, none will move and stay. Burned 20s on level because game wouldn’t allow me to make any moves. No rhyme or reason as to when it will let you flip a yarn under/over another and when it won’t. I still enjoy the game but I refuse to pay money for this unless I was just trying to get rid of ads which don’t truly appear to be many if you learn to ignore the extra video options.

A Naked Ploy To Get Into Your Wallet - Sole Purpose Is Monetization. This game is indeed challenging and fun. That said, it is also purposely designed to force you to pay to play. You will use up your lives quickly, gain coins slowly, and be forced to watch ads and/or wait for long periods of time to keep playing once it has made you use up your lives on levels that just don’t give you enough time on the first attempt. And I’m pretty good at these type of puzzles. The 30+ min wait times mean either stop playing for a while, or use the in app purchasing to buy coins, which you then use to purchase lives , etc etc. Sad, because I like the game (through the mechanics are a bit janky, also making you waste precious time on the clock to repeat moves until they “take”), but the plot for your wallet is so direct and so aggressive that it ruins the experience. I’d pay to remove ads, but then the game would still attempt to force me to purchase upgrades and the like and ads are one of the few “free” ways to do that. Uninstalling and will find something else to amuse me. This is a naked plot to get I to your wallet. Pass on it.

good game. needs a little rework. i like how there is basically no ads, or at least a lot less than other games. it started off really fun, the levels being challenging but not like impossible. then all of a sudden the timers on the levels dropped so much that it became physically impossible to complete the levels in that amount of time. i think that's where they input the ads is for the coins and the power ups that you end up needing to complete more levels after 25. i think that there should be no timer at all, would make the game actually relaxing and not like "omg i gotta hurry up and finish this level or i have to pay NINE HUNDRED COINS" that's another thing, 900 coins if you mess up a level??? you only get 15 coins per level and 100 for the games marked "difficult". overall i do really like the game but i just think it needs some changes

FANTASTIC until level 119. I’ve had so much fun progressing through the levels of Twisted Tangle. They start out extremely simple, but get a little more difficult as you go, but not too hard. The game is very similar to the ads. Just move the ends of ropes around until you isolate the whole rope and free it. keep doing this until the board is clear. I wish I could go back and play old levels again, but it won’t let you do that. Boosters will be introduced that you can use to help solve more difficult levels. It’s good challenging fun until level 119. Then the Hard and Very Hard levels are too difficult to solve without using one of the boosters to cut a line or add more time. Getting more of those requires spending real money even after I paid for the game because I loved it so much. Now I’m stuck on level 139 and have given up playing it. Such a shame because it was so much fun.

SO MUCH FUN!!. Another Update: I’m still LOVING this game. Pay the $7 to remove ads, it’s worth it. The levels get harder, the time gets shorter, the ropes have to be placed precisely sometimes but that is part of the challenge!! Patience people, patience! Keep playing and you will get it. I’m on level 723 and it’s taking me longer now to get through the levels but that is part of the fun. Everything can’t be easy people!! Enjoy the challenge of things. UPDATE: PLEASE PLEASE REMOVE THE STUPID EMOJI at the end of each round! It’s soooo annoying!! Don’t listen to negative reviews!! I’m on level 150 and while I did pay to upgrade for no ads (I hate ads), I have never had to purchase any extras to get to level 150. I have spent .99 cents twice to play for an hour without worry about losing lives but that’s only because I was waiting and figured it would be a great time killer. I’m 100% convinced that it takes patience to get through the levels. I’ve had to play the hard levels multiple times to memorize the easy way to untangle certain parts, so you slowly work your way through the really hard levels. I’m actually really glad you only get 5 lives otherwise I’d probably be playing for hours straight!! lol I highly HIGHLY recommend this game but bring patience or better yet, learn it. Too many people lack patience so this is a great game to learn patience. Have fun!!!

Edited 2/9/25, from 2 stars to 4 [Great game until they screw you]. As of 2/9/25, I’ve changed my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars because the issues I mentioned previously have been corrected, and this game is super fun and addictive again. I really hope it stays that way!! [[Original review: I loved this game until it became clear they hadn’t planned new levels past 900 or so…first, you keep getting the same 3 or 4 over and over. Then they set you up to fail and strip you from every reward and amount of coins you’ve built up because they’re lazy and don’t want to make legit new levels, so sure, just lower the amount of time given so it’s humanly impossible to beat a level without super power ups. Oh, and hey, we’re also gonna stop giving you any reward/tool as well, because it’s easier to strip the most loyal players of everything they have than to honor them by keeping the game up, even if it’s past level 1000. I’m at 1006, and it’s not even fun anymore. Thanks for being SUPER SHADY and screwing over your most loyal players!!]]

Like the game but….. It’s a fun challenging game. My problem is the movement, when I go to place piece if it’s not exactly precise it won’t go where I want it. I understand there are some strings under tension and have a limit to their travel but these are ends That have slack and should move to any one of the spots near by and I’ll waste valuable time on the harder levels trying to get ends placed and then run out of time I also don’t care for the clear greed of the app, 30 minutes to get a heart back before I play again but if I buy add on at an insane price The if you watch am ad you get 15 minutes of unlimited play but have to wait six hours for that to be an option again. The game is fun but not that fun Level 99 was my breaking point. There is no way to make it without using a bonus somehow. At that point I had to buy something to make it work. The pieces in the upper side of the map are so jumbled I could not get any end to move to another spot so I just kept wasting time eventually running out. I got tired of wasting two days trying the level and the delays I’m earning hearts to play added to the frustration with the game…..so I’ve deleted it

Interesting, but WAY too many ads. There's an ad (30 seconds in length) about every sixty seconds (they're *likely* shown based on passing levels, rather than time, but the beginning levels are very easy and I got through them quickly.). I downloaded Twisted Tangle less than an hour ago and have been forced to watch over twenty ads in less than thirty minutes of game play. *Once* was, I suppose, my fault, because I clicked on what I thought was a 'free point multiplier' - but no, it was another ad. I just thought I'd won something after passing a lot of levels. It's too bad, because the ad I saw that caused me to download the game did make the game look interesting and challenging indeed, but I won't pay $8 to find that out, and I can't (or won't!) take an extra 10 minutes to watch ads every time I happen to get a half hour game break.

Fun game but will cost you. This is a fun game at first but the hard levels are almost impossible to beat without spending money on extra items. After awhile I found the game to be stressful and not relaxing. If someone took this concept and made a game that was actually paced to the users progress it would be such a fun game. Or just have you the option to play the puzzles. They start quickly reducing your time and increasing the difficulty so you will buy in app purchases, which is fine, but they don’t give you barely anything and it will make you mad to no end. Not at all what a game should do. I deleted the app because it quickly became frustrating and boring when they don’t pace the progress through. You don’t get much for the app purchases, one of the more expensive games I’ve played as far as in app purchases. Quickly lost interest. Wish someone would come up with this game where you could just figure out the puzzles (tangles) and it wasn’t making it difficult in an attempt to get you to buy in app purchases. The ads are constant. Nothing relaxing or satisfying about this game after level 20 or so. I waisted money hoping it wouldn’t be so frustrating after several more levels. I’d pay monthly for an app I just enjoyed playing and was challenging but not frustrating and the app purchases cost waaaay too much.

Bad customer service. Horrible customer service…. Until I ran into an issue with their app, it was a fun game. Been playing a few months, at level 700+. Then, would try to make in-app purchase and all I get is the shuffle circle with the only way to exit is to either shut my phone off/on, or, delete/reinstall the app. Then, I discovered I was being charged every time I attempted purchase, yet, never receiving the purchase. I sent emails via their settings “contact us” x3 with never even an acknowledgment of my communications, ever. I have asked Apple to refund for what I didn’t receive, although, gotten no response from them as yet either. Does “no company” have ANY sense of how they get paid!?!?. I can just as easily walk away as I did begin to play. I hope they choose to refund. By the time I realized I was still being charged, it was a decent chunk of $$. Won’t be recommending this app to anyone. I’m old enough to remember, the law used to be, if running a business, there had to be a person you could physically contact.. that needs to return. Hiding and ignoring will only work for so long… …. The worst customer service. They don’t exist if no one buys.,

Frustrated about # of ads 😫😤. ** Update** Deleted the game, couldn’t take it anymore! I’m a huge puzzle fan! When I saw the ad for this game I was like, “yes please”! The game is fun and keep getting more difficult as I progress 😌. The huge downfall is the number of ads 😫😤. I can understand an ad after a few puzzles solved, but after every, single, game, played?!? There are two options after each game I thought would help with this issue. First option is to receive all the points won if you watch an ad., and the second option is to receive half the point won to skip ad. I clearly selected skip ads. Yet, the ad plays and is as long as the live long day. It would be great if you’d allow players to skip ads for a few games than play the ad or even make the option after each game actually work. After the four or fifth game, issue the full points won and play ad without an option to skip. Let’s be clear, I know there is an option to purchase the game to avoid ads completely. With prices on everything going up, I can stand to watch an ad once in a while. Emphasis on once in a while! Not watching ads more than playing the game and longer than it takes to solve the puzzle. I’m not one for writing reviews, but this was truly warranted. I’d hate to delete the app, but with it operating as is, it’s causing more frustration than relaxation. Hope to see changes in the next update!

Interesting game but glitches out and stops working. I have played a lot of this game and for the most part it has been interesting and engaging but when you get further through and the more complicated the knots get the game I think stops being able to handle it and stops letting you move certain pieces. It’s not a distance thing, you can always try and stretch something and hang onto it despite it not fitting somewhere else, but instead the piece just jumps back to its spot the moment it seems like it might work somewhere else. It’s specific pieces at specific times and for the more complicated levels that means you can’t finish them. Also, sometimes if you tangle certain strings enough they’ll clip through each other, or more likely themselves, and so they untangle for you. That part is actually handy for particularly frustrating 2 string tangles but it does prove that the physics system is messed up

The game is easy, but the mechanics don’t work. I got to level 83 and deleted the game. I should’ve beat every single level, on my way to 83, in my first try, but the game makes you waist so much time trying to move the tangles to places that they SHOULD go, but just won’t go. It’s not a skill issue, it’s a game issue, plus the there’s way too much time for simple puzzles and barely any time for more difficult puzzles. Again, these puzzles are really very easy and often simply just yanking the knots in different directions will inconsistently completely untangle them, or even get them triple tangled into an objectively impossible mess. There were several times where I should’ve beat the level, but it wouldn’t let me move the knot to the place after trying 5 times and time ran out. One time it didn’t process that all of the knots were completely untangled and I had to use my scissors power-up to get through the level. Bad game. I deleted it because I ran out of coins, but I shouldn’t have even had to spend a single coin. If the game worked right, I would’ve won every level my first try.

Way too many ads and arbitrary time limits. Okay I have a lot of things that I’d like to address in this review. First off, there are way too many ads. It seems like every minute I’m seeing another ad. Because I am. The time limits on each level are crazy. Maybe one level I’ll finish with an extra minute and a half on the timer, but the “super hard challenge levels” are designed to make you fail so you’ll pay 900 coins for 20 seconds. This is impossible when you only earn 15 coins per level, so the only option in the end is to spend your money. This game is pay to win, and although the concept and some levels are fun, I think it’s completely ruined by the timer. The ads would even be acceptable if the game itself wasn’t so incredibly frustrating. But hey, at least the money farm is working, right? Because it doesn’t matter how horrible the game is when you don’t pay, you only care about the experience of people who have hundreds of dollars to spend on mobile games, which is a fair business practice at the end of the day.

Fun Game, But…. I really enjoy this game and I’ve been able to get through the levels pretty easily. However, there are some frustrating quirks that make me not want to immediately play this game when given the choice. The biggest thing I dislike is that sometimes, the moveable pieces of the rope get thrown under other ropes when the movement you make is one that *should* take that piece over the rope. Then the ropes will sometimes not stretch as far as they appear to be able to, and the pieces will often land back where they were pulled from despite being clearly placed on a landing spot. Finally, the last two seconds basically don’t count — the game stops working and you can move your pieces anymore. That has cost me a life many times. It comes down to some glitchiness that makes the game feel just a bit underdeveloped. I will still continue to play, but again, it’s not my go-to.

Starts off fun. The game starts off fun and you get to do a few of the levels but then every time you finish one, a new ad pops up for something else. This is a common bait and switch in which a developer hopes that you like the free trial and eventually will pay for it. Unfortunately this type of thought and marketing is a very poor concept for both the player and the developer. As a developer if you were to charge a nominal fee, say 2 to 4 dollars upfront for unlimited free ads not only would you triple the income that you have over Night by getting new players, but you’re rating on this particular app would go up because it’s not inundated by the next sales. Remember when you pay for something there should be absolutely no ads. Advertisement means that your subject to the nuance of the ad only because you’re not paying for the service. It probably doesn’t make any sense because we pay for cable TV have to put up with all the ads. just remember if your product is good people go looking for it. They don’t need advertisements to know it’s there.

Fun game but glitchy ads. I paid to have the ads removed from this game but I still click on ads to double the rewards. Many times the ads get locked up so not only do I watch the ad for longer (especially annoying when I’m in the free play for 15 minutes), but I don’t get the reward AT ALL… not even the original reward. I have to close the game to get it away from the ad. I contacted support twice to alert them of the problem and no one answered. Considering it takes 900 coins to buy extra time and as I am on the higher levels, it takes multiple time to get through one level, I need all the coins I can get. I have purchased the golden ticket and the unlimited play for an hour from time to time, so this game is not free to me. Additionally, I started playing on my iPad to see if the game was easier when I have a bigger screen (it is). I noticed that when I got to a certain level (somewhere passed 450) on my phone, the levels now require me to get through 3 screens of tangles per level. It is nearly impossible to do without extra time even after playing it multiple times. On my iPad, I am on level 529 and have yet to see a 3 tiered level. Why would it be different on each device?

Very glitchy. I really enjoy the game, but the app has tons of problems. The first time I burned through all the levels and got to boss level 600. The app completely froze at 600 even though I shut my phone off and tried a bunch of different things. So the only thing I could do was delete the app and add it again. That took me down to level one, and I had to start all over again, which I did. A few days later, I reached level 600 again. It actually let me play boss level 600, but after I’ve finished the game I reset itself back to the beginning. I kind of assumed that maybe 600 was the highest level they have developed this. I made it to that level in three days. So for the second time, I’m at the beginning, level one (yawn), and soon made it up to 350. Then it started regressing back to 300, then 250, then 200. And there it stayed, stuck at 200. Over and over and over again, stuck at 200. I have level 200 memorized. So once again, I deleted the app and added it back and now I am on good old level one. This app has some serious problems.

Great game but…. I’m at very hard level 99 and I’ve spent about a week trying to move forward. I paid for no ads and I won’t buy items to move through a level. When you can’t move forward even on a hard level after a week and you can’t use the coins you accrue in the game that tells me one thing your just a money grabber and you don’t want me to enjoy your game. I’m bored at level 99 and now since I can’t move forward I will now delete this game and no longer play. I miss the days you pay for a game and literally play info play two others games like this here and I treasure them games aren’t fun if I have to spend a week playing one level. Also I waste so much time moving pieces to places and it not sticking it’s crazy. Your telling me you don’t want me to move forward unless I pay well I did and what’s your excuse now? Gave up one week playing one level it’s deleted.

Ultimately, I Hated This Game. I loved this game, the game play was super fun, the design was easy to understand and the graphics were appealing enough. After playing a hundred or so levels I came to HATE this game. There are ads everywhere, they’re super long and they generally can’t be muted, so if I’m listening to music while playing I have to listen to annoying sounds overlapped until the ad ends. Still, not a deal-breaker, I get that game devs need to make their money. Where I ultimately decided to get rid of this app was on 2 items: 1) (more minor) the game play is a little glitchy, in that the string ends don’t reliably stay in place, and can take a few tries to get them to stick, which makes it untenable for 2) the time limits. I like puzzle games, and these puzzles are super fun, setting ridiculous time limits on the level to make it difficult, and not because the actual puzzle is difficult, but as a cash grab, is where I couldn’t stand this game. Some levels take time to untangle, and if you don’t pay your way out, you’ll be stuck for a long time until you can memorize (and get lucky, see #1) and beat the level. Nope. Nope. NOPE!

Paul. I think I got to around level 20 when the game suggested that I join a team. However when I gave myself a name it froze that page and I couldn’t move on. I had no other choice but to delete the game. Up until then I was starting to enjoy the challenges as they got harder.

Infuriating. I was really enjoying this game, played it a lot. Then I got stuck in a level for ages, used multiple boosters multiple times, and FINALLY (after nearly just deleting the game) passed. Did a couple more levels, come back a couple of days later and I’m back to the horrible level. The advice from “support”, record what’s happening. Lol yeah, I can record something that’s already happened. So what’s the point? Have deleted it now, there is no point playing a game where you don’t progress.

No incentive to continue playing.. Time extensions, if purchased, are only 20 seconds. And to purchase more, the cost jump, is extravagant. No opportunity to earn coins, which can make this an expensive game. No incentive to continue playing.

Fun to use. I enjoy the challenge but hate the timer. I am not competitive and it’s very annoying when my game is stopped by the app before I have finished. Is there some way to turn off the timer?

Appalling Cash Grab! Impossible to Play.. I’ve paid twice over for no ads and even when I decline the video option to double the rewards points - I STILL have to watch ads! I have never seen such a blatant predatory scam disguised as a simple game app like this. It’s disgusting. There’s NO way of playing the game with any joy because of the constant ads and the constant stoppage unless you spend a LOT of money. 🤬 DELETE.

Bug and glitches. Often the ropes can’t be untangled because holding and dragging them to the right spot they flick out of your hand and either twist around tighter or just make it impossible to quickly finish a level which is always the point. Also was hoping for more of a chill experience then fast panic, which is almost always what you get.

Mode without a time limit. I feel that this has been a recent update but having a time limit on the puzzles has made me delete this one. They are difficult to solve as you get on and it takes 20 mins for the lives to refresh, so I now rarely play it. I love the concept but having a time limit has really changed my enjoyment of the game.

Has potential but…. This game is enjoyable and has lots of potential but has way to many ads. I paid money to remove the ads but I still had to watch them so that was extremely disappointing. I won’t invest any more in this game. Also as the levels get harder there is no way to solve them without spending lots of tools to help. A real shame as the game is very challenging and fun.

Not everything needs a time limit. This is a fun game, but the pressure to complete within a time limit isn't for everyone. Some of us want a puzzle to solve and challenge our brains, without adding more stress, anxiety and frustration than life already throws at us. It would be great to have an option to switch off the time limit and just enjoy untangling stuff

Too many ads. Fun game but far too many ads. There is an ad every second level. I played until level 11. So far not challenging but too many ads for me to consider continuing.

Good game - prefer single play rather than triple. Really enjoy playing this game, it’s fun and engaging. I don’t like the triple play aspect though and would prefer the option to play a single game for less reward maybe? Sometimes I could fit a quick game in between waiting for things like the tram to come but with the triple play I run out of time to finish the game and I’m not playing as often. I like the new rewards with the card collections they’re fun to collect.

Designed to make money for the developers. A good game in theory, simply untangle a mess, seems simple enough. However, add anchored tangles that can’t be moved, double threads with three anchors and a very limited time to play and this game, although challenging, is a slow, unsatisfying burn. If you like too see progress then this game is not for you. Glitches prevent you from moving the threads so disadvantage to the player. Coins earned throughout are sparse but a whooping 900 are needed for extra time on every third game played. Such a shame, greed is a kill joy.

Nice puzzles but…. Like the puzzles but if you don’t get it right you have to watch ads to try and complete, even if you were to buy the game. Would be better if like Angry Birds you could keep trying till you mastered the puzzle in the time and or moves required. Shame as I liked the puzzles but paying and still ending up with adds no thanks.

Love the game but too many glitches. I love this game and all the levels. I am getting tired of the glitching, especially when it impacts whether you pass a level or not. The timer seems to stop when it glitches, but that doesn’t happen every time, and sometimes the last few seconds in the round are important for solving the puzzle. Also agree that a ‘zen’ mode would be great, where you can solve at your own pace.

Too Hard. Stuck on level 99 for weeks - too hard. Time limit is too short. Can’t go any further. Waste of time for me. Should make it unlimited. Not paying to extend and still not being able to do it.

Great game - super repetitive. I love this game, play it everyday to shut my brain off…for real though, can you please add some NEW levels instead of just repeating the old ones! The game used to be challenging until I realised the last hundred levels or so were ones I’d already completed.

Glitches and ads. I like the game but an ad that plays forever after winning a game and after every win gets a bit wearing! It becomes even more so when you have managed to score unlimited lives for a short period of time and then get stuck watching an ad after every win, eating into your free time. Also trying to get the pins to actually catch in the holes is frustrating especially since the timer seems to randomly stop the placement even though time hasn’t run out. Still a good game and keeps the mind active, but it would help to get rid of the ads after every win - make them every 5 wins otherwise I will be beyond frustrated and bye bye game

Mode with no time limit. Fun game, but i would enjoy it a lot more if there was like a “zen mode” where you could take your time untangling a large area (maybe having to zoom in and out). More for relaxation, then the normal mode could be for competition and winning coins etc.

Too many ads.. Is a fun game. Too many ads. Win a level then your asked if you'd like to double your winning coin. Press no thanks and your forced to watch an ad anyway???? Considering its lives set up is similar to candy crush which doesn't have ads unless you want more lives your subject to watch ads and the fact that your timed is annoying. Ads every second level after about level 5. Im finding as I go up a level the ads are more frequent. Dumb!

So far, so good. Only been playing for half an hour. Liking it so far. Absolutely loving the fact I haven’t had an ad forced on me. There’s been the offer of ads to unlock things and I’m okay with that, it’s not interfering with my gameplay. Only reason I rated a 4 out of 5 stars is because I’m a bit disappointed in the range of colours. The different patterns to unlock with in game currency is cool, but I feel like more can be done to improve the colours themselves.

Timer is irritating. I find this quite engaging and relaxing and I like the way the ropes move and fall quit realistically but I have no interest in racing the clock, it’s just annoying. You should be able to turn it off - and all the stupid meaningless cards and ‘crystals’. Does anyone GAF about that dreck with this kind of game? I would consider buying it if I could get rid of both those things but as it is I’ve hit a wall I can’t pass and not worth it

Mediocre, False Ads. Overall the game is okay. It can be fun, if you don’t mind the (disruptive amount of) ads they play. Gets kinda boring and repetitive if you play too often. That said, I’ve seen the app has started falsely advertising themselves with things that are literally not true about their game; so they now get 1 star review and an uninstall.

Was good until most recent update…. Managed to get a good number of levels into the game, was having fun with it, paid for advertisements removal, and was getting a good number of coins and had good rope skins and backgrounds etc. Then the newest update drops and now the game is pay-to-win, needing coins to get extra time to finish levels, instead of short ads. My 10,000ish coins that i had managed to accumulate, in the 5-7 days before the update, were drained in minutes when i hit a “very hard level” that i can’t finish because of the very similar coloured ropes that blend together and are very hard to untangle. I’m now stuck on that very hard level and can’t get it untangled. I’m not going to spend money on coins that don’t guarantee level completion. Not happy, deleting app.

Bit frustrated. It is frustrating when it gets close to a win and time finish that pieces won’t move or seem to not stick to the new post. Over an entire game valuable seconds are lost repeating some moves.

Ad-pocalypse. I understand that Ads make it possible to bring us these games free, but this is just ridiculous. You will spend overwhelmingly more time watching ads than playing the puzzles. The game is fine, the amount of ads is pure insanity.

Too short a time. The rope would move easily enough within the time period. I would put them in place and they wouldn’t stick. No interest for me. Working out how to untwist ropes is ingesting but I have other games that are times where there is a challenge. This isn’t. I’d prefer the ropes get harder where I’d actually be trying to figure it out. Not race against a clock. Boring. Delete.

Nice game. I do get sick of the advertising, specially for games you already have, and for games without advertising, and then you should be able to become smarter from this!? Really not smart at all, just annoying.

Levels repeat. Paid to get rid of the adds only to find that levels repeat and some of them just don't seem solvable without watching adds for extra moves. No option to retry boss levels if you choose not to watch the adds, so I can't confirm that

App keeps crashing, too many ads, unrealistic timer. The App keeps crashing a lot, takes a long time to load. Too many ads. Needs a lot of improvement on the App. After a point the time limit for a round is so low that you can’t complete it unless you buy extra time. Really disappointed, could have been such a fun game!

Not happy!. Love the game and the challenge but I refuse to pay for coins! The time limit is ridiculous and the time it takes to earn coins is even more ridiculous! This takes a lot of fun and relaxation out of the game! Very frustrating!😠

Too slow to load, too many ads. I paid for ads to be removed, but they are still there. Don’t know how to get my money back. Takes too long for the games to load, or they just won’t load. Was hoping the levels would get more advanced, but they are simple

‘Zen Mode’. I agree with previous review. I would like to see options to have an untimed mode too. The game can get very stressful instead of being more relaxing. I’d like time to think ahead of options instead of randomly tapping.

Would be fun if it let you finish. Really frustrating that you can’t finish a game before the timer ends it, only just started playing it and already the games tell me “Very Hard”… what happened to easy mode to start with then progress towards the harder ones… surely there could be a button that I can select whether I want the timer on or not ?

Not bad - I recommend until about level 50ish…. I liked this game at the beginning when you could play 3-4 levels before an ad popped up.. The later levels have an ad after every go! And most times, the ad is longer than your level… I don’t mind ads and I know this is how I can get the game for free, but when it gets to this amount of ads, my enjoyment of the game goes down…

Glitches ruin it. Great game, but the glitches really ruin it. You will almost be through a level and it will Glitch. Also, it would be good if there was an untimed game within, that you could just play to chill. Instead you find yourself frustrated when you’ve got one life and it glitches. Best don’t even start playing, not worth the frustration.

Don’t bother. I’ve been playing the game for a while. Four updates ago the game stopped playing on my iPad. Open the app and it crashes. Start playing the game and it crashes. Perhaps at some time in the future an update will actually fix the bugs. However, I’m not missing the constant repetitive ads that get stuck in a loop.

Do u want me to keep playing?. I’m really enjoying this game, however I’m sick of the royal match ads that pop-up every two seconds. Instead of showing me another game that has no ads and try to get me to play that one, how about I have this one with no ads and you keep me playing this one that I’ve downloaded. It’s frustrating.

So many ads!. There are SO many ads, and you can’t put the phone on airplane mode like every other online game. Generally you can skip the ads after 5-10 seconds, but what gives it a 1 star from me is that even though you can skip every other ad, you can NOT skip the gambling ads, and need to watch the full minute. No thanks! It’s not worth it to watch a minutes worth of ads every level, when a level only sometimes lasts 15 seconds!

Times is way to short. I really enjoyed this game until I hit level 700 then the time to complete the puzzle was so short it’s almost impossible. Unless you pay the 900 coins to go extra time. please review the times and increase them.😢😢😢

4 stars. Very good game keeps me occupied when I’m bored! Probably like most other people the ads are the only things that bother but other whys entertaining fun and not really easy/in a good way Really good game definitely recommend - Evie_preppy4life

Oh my god! The ads!. Look. I get free to play games need ads. You gotta have some money coming in. But sweet salty christ. The forced ads are every 2 level, and you still get prompts for watching ads for rewards. And you have to pay $7.99 just to not be pestered every 2 minutes. These free games a driving me nuts.

Love but stuck on level 159. I love this game, however, I am stuck on level 159. It is a super hard level, and I tried it, like, a bajillion times and I still have not passed it. If you get stuck on this level like I am, just keep going. Overall, great game and full of challenges.

Too many ads!. There’s an ad after every. Single. Level. It’s crazy! Also some levels are almost impossible and you are forced to spend in game money to buy more time, which shouldn’t be a thing since the levels should be possible without spending in game coins. If you spent your coins on previous levels the level can be impossible without spending real money. Really bad game, do not recommend

Good Game Play but Frustrating. The idea of the game play is very good for brain training and has an inviting premise in th advertising. Some of the times are extremely challenging and put pressure on you whilst playing. The frustrating part is the lack of ability for the game to acknowledge the hole you wish to use and snapping back to the last hole whilst twisting the rope even more. I have continually hovered over the hole to nature it’s highlighted and the rope isn’t stretched and it still wont connect to the correct hole. Subsequently the game has been deleted unfortunately. Frustrating when the game wont do what it shows in the ads.

Waaay too many ads. The game is fun, however there are so many ads! Each level takes about 30-40 seconds to complete, and you get an ad every 3 levels. That’s an ad pretty much every 2 minutes!

What happened to the daily bonus?. I have been enjoying this game, but the daily bonus seems to have disappeared. Once you get to the harder levels that take longer to solve, there’s nowhere near the incentive to keep going another day to win the reward. I know that at some stage I’ll get fed up with not getting anywhere and stop playing.

Takes too long to load. Now takes ages to load on my old iPad. Sometimes, it doesn’t load at all. Giving up on it. Also is not responsive enough when the screen is full but the timer continues.

Developers too greedy. Could potentially be a really good game but developers are way too greedy with their pricing. As levels get infinitely harder once you get stuck on one there is no way to earn even a small amount of coins any other way other than buying them. The pricing on the coin packages is frankly ridiculous. Basically $5 for a 20second extension to a level. All they’ve done is price themselves out of ongoing game play. I’m happy to pay occasionally to support devs but this is extortion. Unfortunate cos could have been a great game

Glitches ruin the game. This could have been a fun game, but it doesn’t work. More often than not the ropes don’t move to the highlighted space and spring back to where they were. This makes the time allowance pointless as time is wasted just trying to make a simple move. It seems that this a ploy for people to pay to play. Don’t, it’s just a waste.

No more daily rewards. It’s no longer free as such because the daily use rewards have gone. Without them to help you out if you are stuck on level 985 as I am you can go no further without investing money. I’m happy watching ads- I’ve even loaded new apps based on them-but if you don’t want to pay in $$ this isn’t the game for you. It is a bit of fun and stress relief if you want to pay. I understand people make apps to make money, but this game isn’t one I’d pay money for. Playing for free I can’t complain when the ropes don’t stick in the holes but if I were paying I’d be pretty cheesed off to lose time paid for.

Inappropriate ads. I love this game, but I had to remove the app because I started getting very inappropriate ads with sexual content. I could not play this game with a child around.

Time too tight. Almost impossible to achieve without buying extra time.

Great game, but timer sucks!. Love the game but the timer is a turn off. Sometimes you just want to take your time and think a level through, move by move, but you don’t have enough time to. And for those anxious people, who play puzzle games to calm the nervous, the damn timer doesn’t help! I’d love it if game didn’t have a timer, but rather have extra daily challenges that are timed.

Too many ads. Can’t get past the ads. Too bad cuz it’s fun but ruined.

New update, way too many ads. Really fun until the new update where suddenly everything is an ad wall. Ads for bonuses and upgrades are fine but an ad after every level PLUS an ‘optional’ ad to those bonuses or ‘help’ items. Two ads in a row is too many.

Too many ads and why on earth did you put a timer on the game?. Who ever thought that putting a timer on the game at higher levels has rocks in their heads!! I deleted it as soon as I realized that this was what was going to happen going forward. Too bad: it was one of my favourite games. And the ads are too frequent. Not reasonable. If this is the only way to have this game “agree” then change your business model. Too many ads plus timing the levels sucks. I won’t be recommending it to anyone except those I really dislike!!!

Timer. It said no timer!

Horrible - glitchy as h3ll. I looked at the reviews before I downloaded, but they’re paying someone to write it. TONS of ads and glitchy. The ropes have to be precisely placed - sometimes multiple times - before they recognize it. I don’t trust people who say “buy ad-free” because this is just a badly designed game with no investment in it. Oh, and you can’t play it on airplane mode.

Ridiculously hard and too many ads. This was my favourite game until the easy levels have 3 stages to pass the level. They are impossible to pass without spending money. I even put up with the excessive ads to play. Shame on the developers

Lag. There is so much lag in this game that very hard levels are impossible to pass. Even at home on my 5G wifi it lags. Deleting it now.

Disappointed. I was really enjoying this game until I had to pass 3 levels in one time limit. I’m on day5 of playing this level and can only make it as far as the third level with 15 seconds remaining of my time. I would be willing to watch ads to get coins but will not buy coins. Will probably be deleting very soon.

Fun but bye 👋🏻. Enjoyed this game but too many LONG ads!!

Greedy. I actually paid the money to remove the ads, but the levels where you have to clear three screens before the timer ends are impossible. It’s a cash grab to make you spend more money in app so you can progress.

Disgusting Ads. I will delete this game if you continue Happy Hospital ads

Issues with game. Game freezes shortly after opening. Shows a dimly lit screen that cannot be clicked on with a plinko game on it.

I love to play!. Great interface, vibrant game play!!!

Too many adds I have up. Toi many adds I gave up

Endless Ads, inconsistent Timer. This app is quite challenging to play, but you’re continually bombarded with opportunities, followed by endless ads. They are repetitive, boring, and often interrupt your play for over 60 seconds. It is so annoying. Often times you will see that you’ve got two minutes to perform an untangle, and the next thing you know way before two minutes is over you’re down to 15 seconds. The timers are extremely inconsistent.

Too many ads. Gave up before level 8 because I had watched more ads that played the game.

High level? No. Been playing the game for years. Now trying to get the next level? Swipes but don’t move. Thanks 😟🫠

They made it impossible to play. With the most recent, the developers decided to make it impossible to play unless you spend real money! Each level now consists of three steps, if you fail any you will have to redo the whole level, and of course all this with a ridicules little time! I regret buying the no AD version of this game.

Not interested in timed games. Timer is too aggressive

timer is crazy. this game would be 5 stars if there was no timer. it’s sooo annoying to rush. i just wanna play it🙄🙄

Best. Best one out there for me.

Not fun.. Not enough time to complete higher levels on to of too many long ads. Completely takes the fun out of a game.

To many ads. I would enjoy this game if there were less ads, and if it didn’t have a time or move restriction. I like to take my time to figure out what move is best. It would be nice if it had two options.

not enough time. was fun to play but now you need to solve three puzzles to pass the level in under 2 minutes??? horrible update, its too hard

Just another one of those ad-filled games. When I first played, I was pleased with the lack of ads. Then I got to level 6 or so, and it was just ad after ad after ad. What garbage

Hmmm. I enjoy the puzzles but black ropes on gray background means anyone who has any vision issues can see any definition s. Please fix this.

Impossibly hard & 20-minute life regeneration. The game itself is great, but passed level 300 it’s almost impossible. Plus you only get three tries and then have to wait 20 minutes for another try. To the developers: 1. lose the lives. I will never pay money to simply PLAY the game! Add ons are one thing, but pay to play? Nah. 2. Lose the timers or increase the times. The levels where there are 3 stages all on one time are insane. Most people play phone apps to relax, not to panic.

Used to love this game but now can’t complete levels without paying.. Used to love this game but now can’t complete levels without paying.

Anxiety increased. The game is fun but like everybody else says - the ads are crazy. I always restart the app. Also the hard levels have such limited time!!! I get nervous and anxious every time and eventually lose the interest in playing. I don’t want to feel this when I want to play some relaxing games. This is definitely not relaxing…

Ad after EVERY GAME?. Really? Overkill and greedy

Too many ads. Could be a fun game but can’t handle an ad between every level. Won’t allow you to play without internet connection either. elected straight away

Bad game. They don’t give you enough time for some of the levels so don’t download if you want to be disappointed

really long ads. i mean, it’s a good game to kill time, but the advertisements that play after you complete a level are as long as the level itself. not kidding.

I hate it now. I used to like this game so much. I even paid for the “No ads” which i dont normally do. But when they recently updated, the levels where there are 3stages all in one time are crazy and ridiculous!! I dnt think the developer even considering peoples reviews which are almost all negative and lower stars😒. Sad to say but deleting this game.

Why is it now a timed game?. I used to love this game. I’m at level 539. Was using it to help with problem solving skills post brain injury. Suddenly the levels are timed, the challenges are gone. It’s impossible. The changes have rendered the game unplayable. I put up with the constant adds, the jerky movement, glitching out all the time, and surprising level of heating up my phone, but this is too much, I’m deleting.

No thanks. Nothing to say!!!!

Three stages per level now?. Latest updates have added three stages PER level, plus still being timed. I wonder who thinks these changes are fun? I didn’t mind the timed aspect, but this new three stage thing is just ludicrous. Are people really playing it like this? I bet swipes have plummeted.

It’s fun!. Fun game to play!

The new update ruined the game. I’ve been playing this game daily I got up to level 866 and was forced to update the game. The update ruined this game, now each level has three challenges to beat to move forward. It’s next to impossible because they don’t give us sufficient time. It’s usually 1.5 minutes and the final challenge is usually met with a few seconds which is impossible. I used to love this game now I’m contemplating deleting this game. It’s very sad because I was so close to final level which I heard was level 1000. It’s very obvious that the creators of the game has become money hungry and they should Be ashamed of them Selves for this new impossible Update. I deleted the game since this comment. I highly recommend twisted rope! A much better game with the same concept.

I paid and they kept asking for more… ugh. I decided to pay 9.99 one time fee to skip the annoying ads. But then, they still cut play off and force their own ads and upgrades… these are even more annoying than initial ads. Anyhow, avoid buyers remorse and find another game!

Turned into pay to win. This game was fun a good way to kill time but now I don’t know if they changed it or I’m just getting higher in levels. It’s basically a pay to win game before they give you a daily reward when you played and if you were stuck on a level, you would use one of those daily rewards to get you through either they would give you coins and you could buy more time or you could get power ups and all of a sudden that just disappeared and the only way to get it is to use your own money so if you don’t mind lots of ads and spending your own money to play a free game, this is for you but not for me

Your App. Amazing

Timer. The timer is annoying to me. I want to relax when I play a game. I can add time for 900 which would cost real money. No thanks. I wish there was an untimed option or even a chance to play an ad for points. I’m stuck on a level and will probably delete

Nice game but stopped working. In some point game just didn’t start. It stacked on elephant icon and that’s it. Upd. After few months this bud wasn’t fixed. So good buy forever!

I still get ads even after paying for no ads... great game and you get more and more challenges and new stuff. i love it. but i still get ads after paying for no ads.

Fun for a while.... This isn't a strategy game like it might appear, it's a timed game. The issue is as you move up in levels you get to a point where even if you clicked each rope instantly, there just isn't enough time. I think the worst I saw was three pages of 20 ropes each, so 60 total, and 50 seconds to do it in, so less than a second per rope. It's literally not possible to move them fast enough the way the game is written. I think they want you buy more coins (with real money) to extend the time, but that doesn't really help as it just means you hit the same problem a few levels later. There is also no logic to the levels, a level might have 60 ropes like my example above, then the next one has 20 total and they give you 90 seconds, and you can finish with 50 seconds to spare. In fact, the levels marked "hard" or "very hard" are often easier levels. I wish there was an option to forget the timed part, and just focus on untangling the ropes so the game was actually fun. Don't waste your time...

Too many adverts. More adverts than game play. Deleting.

Why did you add time limits to regular levels??. I used to really enjoy this app UNTIL they added time limits!! I’m old. I don’t want to be challenged this way. I liked figuring out how to untangle the ropes without trying to beat a clock every single time. I thought this was a great way to keep my mind active to help fight off dementia and such. Too much stress and frustration now. Why couldn’t the time limits be on optional challenges?? Oh I know why…because you can’t make money that way!! Now you make it so people want/need to buy more lives or have enough to “pay” for more time when the clock runs out and they won’t have to spend a life to start over. Shame on you!!!!! Please rethink your changes and make it more like it used to be.

Goodbye!. This was a 5 star game for almost a year. I played daily. Practice improved my ability to solve these puzzles and I even managed to make progress in the challenge levels and the daily tournament. But the developers keep changing the game. And not for the better. Levels didn't previously have a timer except for the challenge levels. And now every level is timed. And the length of time is too short even for an experienced player. You are practically required to purchase the new boosters (shuffle, scissors, etc) in order to make progress. The cost isn't a problem for me since I have amassed 1.5 million coins. But for an experienced player to be forced to use a booster on almost every level is a real problem. This is no longer fun. I made it to level 9311 but it is unplayable after the last 3 updates. Goodbye!

Level 828 here. As I do enjoy playing the game and playing not have for a few months and on level 828 now there are a few problems. One at end of game trying to make moves and the timer is up the try again 900 coins is right there in the middle of the screen and continues to eat my coins when I would not have wanted to use them. Also several times, including once today the game stops at the end and freezes. I used a shuffle this time and it was wasted. I have a video to share I sent to the email in game where it says contact customer service. I’m losing too many boost and too many coins. I would like them replaced. Especially since I do pay for boost and coins. Thanks

The time limit is a cash grab. I started playing the game and loved it, until I started getting into the harder levels. They make the puzzles more difficult with barely enough time to solve to make you buy upgrades. There’s a lot of levels that due to the time limit there’s no way to solve it without buying more time or using items and lets add the glitches to that which also makes you waste time or makes moves you didn’t want. You should have an option to play without time to make the game actually relaxing. There’s already an obscene amount of ads that can’t even be muted and I understand that’s what pays for the game but forcing the player to upgrade by limiting moves, shortening the time it’s just foul. Good app but I’ll delete. If later on I see some changes I’ll play the game again

Less stars because of bad ads. I really love this game. If I could rate it here just on the game, I’d give it 10 out of 5 stars. The reason for the lower stars is based on some really disgusting, inappropriate game ads with no vehicle to report them within the game. I actually deleted the game from my phone because of these ads but missed it so much I downloaded it again, hoping to find a way to report these ads and this was the only way I could find. These ads are for games where you can play as a medical person helping patients with their problems by “cleaning out” various parts of the body, etc. Some of the game names are Happy Hospital or Happy Cafe to name just a few. They are really just disgusting and the reason I don’t know the right names is because I cover my screen until they are over. I can’t imagine how bad the games must be if just the ads are this bad. PLEASE remove these types of ads and stick to ones that aren’t gross. There’s enough gross in real life without bringing into “play”. I’m absolutely positive that I’m not the only one who feels this way. Thank you in advance.

went from being addicted to toon blast to this!!. I’m already on level 1491 and I have yet to purchase the no-ads feature, compared to toon blast that has no-ads and I’ve already beaten every single level to where im in the campion league every time. But I had probably spent over $200 at that point for tokens in that game to even get to the level im at right now in this game. This game 10x more addicting and I still have yet to pay a dime for time added or coins. The ads can get annoying but it’s just 7-10 seconds after a game played and if you run out of lives, your still gunna have to pay for coins or pay for more lives lol.

Fun game with minimal ads, but…. Maybe they’ve changed their ad structure, idk, but I haven’t gotten a single forced ad through 40+ levels. Haven’t watched a single one. The game is a really cool concept. The idea of it is satisfying. However, I have found myself in situations that are literally impossible to solve. Sometimes the ropes are finicky and will just go through each other. I have “freed” ropes by just jiggling it around a bit until it just goes through the rope in the way. In the same vein, I’ve had situations where the ropes go through each other resulting in a situation that cannot be solved (unless you’re lucky enough to get them to go back through each other again). As a result, I’ve lost interest. Bummer.

Rewards are too small; getting stuck on a level is discouraging; etc. As many others have said, this game is very frustrating when trying to get through the more challenging levels. And when you finally succeed, the rewards are lame. Developers PLEASE take notice of the low star reviews and read the concerns raised. Also, Developers: please consider allowing users to select & replay their previous levels in order to earn extra coins while having more relaxed play. The difficult levels use up lives quickly and require so much more time to conquer. So, if players were able to replay prior levels and collect more coins in the process, that would help ease the frustration when said players are stuck on a difficult level.

Frustrating!!!. This honestly is one of the most frustrating games. Don't get me wrong, I really like it. As many have said, is extremely challenging because of the timer running out, but most frustrating is that when you finally win you have to wait for an ad to play for up to 30 seconds before you move to the next level. You only get 5 lives before having to wait for more. It takes 900 very hard earned coins to continue the time or to purchase additional lives. If the goal is to force ads on the players at the very least they should give you unending lives. I would play longer and endure those nuisance ads instead of losing my 5 lives and leaving the game. It is a very stressful game to play.

Can’t play without internet connection. This game is pretty cool, it’s a great time killer, it’s fun, satisfying, and pokes at your brain. The problem to me personally is that it requires connection, I don’t normally play phone games at home cause if I want to play something, I’ll play a console, but when I’m commuting or at a restaurant or something, if I don’t have decent connection, it just shuts down altogether, doesn’t let me in at all. The other problem is just how many ads there are, after every level, u get an ad, complete a level, advertisement, lose a level, advertisement, open up the game, advertisement, feels more like the creators made this game with the intention of being more of a place to store their favorite advertisements, remember the connection issue? Yea, no airplane mode either, it costs $8 to turn off ads.

Mixed bag. I enjoyed the game and played a lot for about a week. Around level 200 it seemed like the time for each level was much more than needed even for the hard and super hard levels (pretty sure I played upwards of 200 levels without losing a single life at one point) but now that I am just over level 700 the time available has dropped so significantly that even the normal levels are practically undoable in the time and you have to buy more time on every level. I tried to count for one level I believe you have 1:00 for something like 18 ropes? It has been an enjoyable way to fill time up to this point, but I won’t continue if the only way to progress is through real money transactions.

Like the game but a few issues. I really enjoy the concept of the game and I paid to remove ads so nothing bugging me there. Solving these puzzles is great. Nice brain game. But, the issues. The movement of the is elastics is unreliable. I understand that the ropes stretch and sometimes cannot be moved if they are stretched too far. That’s not what l am talking about. There are times the rope is slack but it takes me five tries to get it to stick to a new connection. This is aggravating and burns up time. This should be fixed. Second, the time limits are simply not long enough. Some of the levels are technically easy but I fail multiple times because the timer is just ridiculously short. This is particularly aggravating when the movement issues cause me to lose precious time trying to move ropes that should stick but won’t. And finally, there is no way to earn prizes. No matter how many levels I blow through, no goodies. No things to cut the ropes, extend the time, etc. You have to pay to get anything. And there are no hints whatsoever so if you get stuck, and can’t spend money, then the game is over for you. Unfortunately I think I have reached that point and am unlikely to play any more.

Intentionally glitchy?. There are many times when I attempt to move to another spot that I either can’t or it pops back to where it was. This isn’t when it’s a restricted spot or that the rope is pulled too tight, but it seems to be so that I waste precious seconds moving thing around the board so that I am forced to use coins so that I can gain the last two or three seconds I needed to win. I have purchased coins once, but once I’ve run out of those and if these “glitches” keep happening, I’m uninstalling. It’s rather fun, but I do not appreciate being milked for money. You have advertisers that pay you, and don’t give the line about being a “startup” either. Learn how business works to have capital and make money without draining your users bank accounts.

CANNOT TURN OFF TIMER IN SETTINGS. Often, I like to do on puzzles to relax my racing thoughts & worries before going to bed and start my more intense meditations. It allows the muscles to relax and it is faster to get under control. However, lately, the visual games I really love like this, they all have not just timers which would probably appeal to me during the day, but I do not want nor need flashing lights telling me I have failed or the game to simply freeze when I’m a couple of moves from finishing. It defeats the entire purpose of WHY I am playing—it’s very nice to clear my mind of racing thoughts as I allow my body to relax & get ready for sleep. However, I’m sure there are things I can buy to extend my time. Sorry, but blackmailing me into “buying time” before I begin my serious night time meditations defeats the purpose of playing as well. I will pay to remove ads on games I love, but I will not buy time extenders.

Too many ads. It was a fun game to play but after playing over 300 levels the skill level does not increase.. basically it takes about 10 seconds to complete a level and then you spend 30 seconds watching an ad.. so for every minute of game play you are watching 6 minutes of ads The other negative is that the skill level of the normals levels are way too easy… after every couple of levels you get a challenge level that actually poses a challenge.. but before you get a challenge level you have to complete a few normal levels and watch a bunch of ads.. Giving it 1 star because I am tired of seeing developers abuse the ad system…. It is one thing to show 2-3 ads per 30 mins.. but to have to watch an ad every 15 seconds is just tooo much!!!

Ditch the timer!. This *could* be a great game. Sufficient challenge, nice layout, etc. But for the love of sanity, have an option to remove the timer. It’s a needless accessibility barrier. I play games to relax. Not to be reminded repeatedly of my limitations. I cannot describe how discouraging it is to know how to solve a level and be physically unable to do so because I can never move my hands fast enough. I have nerve damage in my hands but there are many reasons a timer makes an otherwise awesome game totally inaccessible for people. Might I suggest having a set number of moves mode instead of timer mode? It achieves the same purpose of adding a layer of challenge and thus increasing your chances that people will buy extras, while making the game more accessible and more enjoyable for more people. Why wouldn’t you want that?

Not Worth It. Could be a really fun game but they make it impossible. I paid to remove ads at about level 50 but should have waited longer. You get to the very hard levels and there is absolutely no way to advance. You don’t earn any boosters along the way to help you. You get a pittance in coins for completing levels and they want 900 coins to buy extra time to finish a level which would be more than half of what I have earned. And they don’t give you enough time to reasonably be able to finish levels. So you end up stuck with no way to advance. Maybe some enjoy playing the same level over and over again for days….I don’t. I realize the goal is to drive you to spend money (and I don’t mind spending money if it makes a game more enjoyable) but when it happens this early and the cost of buying help in the game is so expensive, I’m not going to get sucked into that never ending spiral.

Fun game/concept, but bad controls. You move the rope to an open spot, you feel the haptic feedback of it over the open spot. You see the open spot highlight like it is going to move to it, and then when you let go it just snaps back. Try again, same thing. Try again and it works. Now you wasted time. You use a tool and then keep going, same thing with it snapping back a few times before working. More time wasted. Now you are out of time and have to restart minus the tools you wasted or you are spending 900 coins to retry with no option for watching an ad or anything. I was enjoying the game as a concept. Puzzles are good. Time is just too little, tools too expensive, retries too expensive and controls aren’t precise or correctly responsive, which wastes too much time. If you read reviews, others mention how many times it takes to repeat moves before they “take”.

Love Hate. I don’t ever purchase games. But once I played this a couple times, I decided it was a lot of fun and I wanted to actually purchase it. But then later regretted it. I liked the game because it wasn’t so hard that I didn’t enjoy playing it but it was still challenging so that’s what made it fun. But I don’t like the fact that it’s timed. Have I noticed that before I bought it I never bought it. It takes the fun way. I don’t like the stress of having to work against the clock and of course they don’t give you near enough time because they want you to purchase items. So either charge for the game or charge for the items the fact that they do both really stinks. I don’t want to sit here and spend ridiculous amount of money on this game. I like it but I don’t like it that much. Very disappointed. so I will be uninstalling. Enjoy my $7.99. This game is over.

Could be fun if it wasn’t so annoying. This game has the potential to be really fun but there are several things that prevent real enjoyment. It’s very glitchy, the ropes start flickering and you can’t move anything but the clock is still ticking. The ropes often times won’t stay where you move them even though the spot lights up that the rope length will reach. Sometimes, even when the ropes aren’t flickering, the ropes won’t move. I’ll have 50 seconds left but the ropes won’t move. Ridiculous. Also the cost for stuff is TOO high. I’m willing to pay here and there for packages if the prices aren’t stupid but $8 for removing SOME ads is stupid. Also I would love a non timed option. I would really enjoy untying knots without the pressure of a clock and I would be willing to pay a reasonable fee for that option.

Like the game but ...... UPDATE: I have played this game to level 550. I did finally pay to remove the ads and that made it much more enjoyable. I haven't paid for anything else. The puzzles are all solvable, although it did take me a couple days on some of them. Bottom line, I really like the puzzles. It's just as well you only get 5 hearts. I play it enough as it is. There are some issues, however. I wish there was a way to extend the clock, especially on the early levels. One you get the hang of it it becomes easier. Way too often, the game snags and you can't move any of these pieces. In that case you just have to close it and lose a life. That's frustrating. Overall, I really like the game.

This new update is the worst!. So this game has been the only go-to game on my phone to relax and focus my brain at the end of the day. I had been throughly enjoying it, I’m on level 439, but out of the blue all the levels are now incredibly challenging with time limits. Like what the heck? Why change the formula? I paid $7.99 a while ago to enjoy the game with no ads but was that not enough? Now you want me to pay for coins in order to add a whole 20 seconds when I don’t beat the time limit game? AND the challenge level menu has completely vanished. I’m so disappointed. What used to bring me joy now frustrates and annoys me, and where I thought my $8 was worth every penny, now I wish I hadn’t bothered. PLEASE go back, this game was pure gold before.

Just started and was on level 5. I just downloaded your game which, for the first 4 levels was fun and easy, but then I got to level 5 and a request for a 5 star review popped up. I haven’t played enough levels to honestly give you a 5 star rating. So, I tried to make your review request go away until I had played enough levels but I couldn’t make the review request go away! 😡You got your review and I only give it 3 stars on account of that no one will be able to give you an honest review because you high jack the game! I don’t appreciate that. If you fix this ridiculous request and make it so that people can give you an honest review, then I’ll update this review-it might be worth 5 stars then. We will see.

It was 5 stars until…. …the entire gaming experience changed. Somewhere in the 900s level (for me, others experienced at different times) the game changed completely from a single board ranging in difficulty with between 1 & 3 minutes to complete to this current triple board format. Now you must complete three boards per level and without the benefit of seeing the second and third boards before your time starts. It not only makes passing basic levels exceedingly more difficult but practically impossible as you’re likely—at best—to have only 20 seconds or so remaining to complete a third, more difficult than the previous two, board. I’d accept this three-levels-in-one if it were OCCASIONALLY reserved for a ‘Hard’ or ‘Very Hard’ level…OCCASIONALLY. But I’ll probably just hang up the game altogether.

Love the game … but!!. I love this game, and I gladly paid to remove ads. I have a few minor complaints. First of all, not enough lives or too much time between lives. I would willingly watch ads to get additional lives, but you can only do that once every six hours. It severely limits how much time I spend playing. Secondly, when the game finishes, it is way too easy to accidentally press the pay button for extra time. In most cases, I don’t want extra time, unless I am super close. Sadly, I have only ever had coins for the accidental presses. Lastly, there are times when the ropes don’t stick in the places you put them. That uses up too much time. I love the game, I love the hard levels, but I would love a few more lives pretty please!!

Way way way too many ads. Played a few tournaments, took down a few boss levels, played a few dozen campaign levels…and this is where I landed: Way too many ads. The cost to remove the ads is too high early in the game. What I mean to say is the problem with having so many ads right out the gate is the user doesn’t get far enough in the game to really get a feel for if they enjoy it or not in order to justify paying to remove the ads. I got in a habit of just dismissing the app every time an ad popped up after a level…which was about every 1-2 levels. So I wouldn’t play long before I was already killing the app until I did it so many times I’m just deleting it. It looks like it had potential and I would have possibly paid to remove the ads, but I never got far enough to get past the “easy” levels to really determine and got super sick of forced ads. Buh bye 👋🏼

Too many ads. Update: you should know that when you complete a tangle on this game , before you can move onto the next one , you get to watch a commercial as a reward. These guys must be millionaires by now. When I read the reviews about the ads, I thought well all free games had ads. I was not prepared for the amount of ads this game has; it exceeds any game I have ever played. There’s an ad after every round. Not after every 3 to 5 rounds, after every round if you play . if you play a 15 second round, be prepared for a 30 second ad. I’m on a fixed income and I’m not able to buy the game. It’s a really fun challenging game, but did I mention there was too many ads? Seriously fix the ads you would have far more success with this game.

Fun, But Could Be Better. Update: I deleted it, but will keep an eye out for similar games that aren’t so irritating and don’t constantly ask for money. 👍 This game — when you get to play it — is super fun! Unfortunately there’s a lot of waiting to play, unless you pay for this and that. Why not just make it where a person can pay one price and be able to play the game as long as they want? It’s really annoying to keep being made to wait, watch ads, and sometimes not even get the option to watch ads, before being able to play. I’m very tempted to delete it. I’m used to downloading a game and playing it, maybe pay a fee to remove ads, and then that’s it. The way this is set up is so lame. If I’m missing some option to just play the d*mn game, please let me know.

It needs calmer levels. 🌟Dear Developers… I like the concept of this game. I’m not even overly mad at the ads. Which are A LOT. What I wish the developers would do, is have an option of game play WITHOUT a timer. The timer is great for those that like to challenge themselves. But sometimes, it’s nice to just figure out these puzzles at your own pace. As someone who had to do chemo, I like these games to keep my mind sharp and quite frankly off the situation I’m dealing with. The timer is stressful. Again, it’s cool for those that love the challenge and get it done before time runs out. However, there are many of us that just like to go at our own pace. I’m guessing that’s a huge demographic. Think about it. 🤍

2 problems. This is a fun game with 2 major issues. First, when trying to move pieces you have to set them exactly or they won’t stay, causing you to lose time. They should slide in easier without glitches. There is no excuse for this, really. This leads to the second issue which is that it’s timed. I find timed games just produce more anxiety and stress and lose the fun for me. It just became stressful and not fun. I would play this and throw money at it if the timer went away. Or if you just could pay for ad-free/timer-free. Waiting 30 min for 1 life is extreme. It would also be good if you could see which levels are 1 screen vs. 3 screens. I don’t enjoy the 3 screens and if I could see how many more I have to pass to return to 1 screen I would be motivated to keep going. Seems like my comments are consistent with others. Perhaps improvements will be made.

Either full or impossible. I got to level 200 and it’s says level 201 coming soon. So it seems I beat the game. The standard levels up through 200 are easy, there might be a few, less than 10 that are kinda tricky but otherwise a bore. The hard levels and expert levels are irritating because of the move limit. This game has glitches in which include: there are points when you move a string and it does not stay in the spot you loved it but moves back to where it was. There are also points when the strings are not overlapping but they are next to each other and touching and it will not clear those strings. These are glitches that especially in the hard and expert levels where you loose a move when you only have a limited number of moves to complete the level.

Fun, Addictive & Frustrating. I really like this game. It’s challenging, interesting and fun. I like trying to puzzle it out before touching anything. Once you touch the timer starts. Sometimes strings don’t go where you pull them even when there’s plenty of slack and little or no tension due to other strings. That can be frustrating and wastes time. My biggest frustration is that the string stop moving when the timer gets to about 5 seconds left. I have been so close, so many times and still lose because nothing moves the last few seconds. Why bother telling me I 2 minutes if I really only have 1 min and 55 seconds. Those last few seconds can be crucial sometimes.

The game is fun and challenging. What I hate and would honestly rate it a 1 is that they don’t give you opportunities to get more coins. The change starts at like 10pm and you have 5 hrs to reach 1st place. You have to wait to get your lives refilled… to me that should only be a 10-15 min wait and it should start once you lose a life. This game should offer you more chance to win/ unlock new ropes, boards, and knots. As well as I don’t know why you can never win extra scissors, freeze time, and shuffles nor tickets. Lower the 900 coins to 500 and give at least 50 coins when watching adds then I’d rate this game a 4. Correct the other things above, I’d give it a 10 if I could lol. If you don’t like purchasing things from games… don’t play this. You will love it and then purchase things.

Starts good, goes downhill. In general, fun to play, untangling knots is so satisfying. However, all zen is lost when the clock is counting down constantly over what could be a chill experience, and because of the limitations of a 2D game, the way they overlap the strings starting about level 60 just becomes infuriating - if I could just reach my fingers in there and pull this one that way, I’d be done, but that isn’t possible in this environment. Nothing they can do about that part, but the timer then forces failure when you can’t finish, and unless you wanna give them unlimited money for unlimited time or lives, the fun becomes even more short lived. For a free game, you get what you paid for, but could certainly be improved.

Used to good now its costly!. This game used to be good but they changed it and now it’s so aggravating. They basically cheat. Its so geared for you to advance you have to pay for a booster. You can’t play the game as intended because it’s programmed to snap back from where you intend to place an anchor eating up your clock so you have to start over losing a game. It’s not a puzzle because it’s not about finding a solution. It’s not a strategy game because even if you figured out the way to solve it in time the anchors don’t stay put where you place them. The game makers are cheating you! It’s one thing if you don’t solve it in time it’s another when you do but because you can put your anchors where you intended and they don’t stay eating up your time clock. The only way to advance is to buy with real money booster!! And it not cheap as far as most games go! Don’t waste your time or money on this game!!

Not a very user friendly game environment. I have downloaded this game from the App Store some weeks ago. It advertises a race you can joon but nowhere is there any way to get to see it. I am also suspect if the timer used, as it stops game play before the timer officially runs out. Too much time spending money to buy new “hearts” in order to play the game. While the graphics are good, the overall game play is frustrating spending too much time to replace lives, too expensive to play and it offers no creativity other than the puzzles. There is no way to advance in the gameplay with incentives offered by the creators. I am looking to explore other games if this kind to see if they are all the same. I have seen screenshots produced if how to earn the scissors, freezing the time, etc., but no way to access them. No way to see how to earn these incentives. This is not worth the time spent in it!

I used to like this game…. It was so fun to play and I really enjoyed figuring out the puzzle of each level. But with the newest update they made the time for each level ridiculously low and they are impossible to finish in time- and not just the hard or very hard levels, the regular levels too, and it’s infuriating! And I haven’t been earning the usual 200 or 300 coins for the harder levels, just the measly 30, which makes it take forever to earn enough coins to buy more time, which you inevitably need because they cut back the time for each level so much 🤬 I used to find the game relaxing and didn’t even mind the ads after every single level, but now it just produces too much anxiety because I’m always just a few seconds away from solving it! Horrible update.

Scam game, Beware!. So I loved this game until about Level 700. However with that being said, there are sooooo many glitches. The game constantly freezes, at this point I never receive my reward coins, free minutes, or rewards and the endless adds are ridiculous! But they’ll take your money in a heartbeat! At this level 700+ you pretty much have to invest weekly to continue playing. It’s impossible to level up without additional time (which has to be purchased) I should mention after Level 700 your challenge time is greatly reduced so it becomes a lot more stressful to battle the timer. The game is no longer fun. I’ve contacted Customer Service multiple times to get rewards and coins restored and I will get No response, not one acknowledgment. Honestly this game is kind of a Scam, beware!

On level 1734 - Really dont like the new update. You used to play one level and every 3 or so levels you'd get a fun really challenging level. Now, you're given a series of 3 puzzles in 1 that's get progressively harder with time running out. I wish this would just be an option that you could go into for extra rewards. Please bring back the option of a single level. Sometimes I'm bored and want to just play a level real quick to clear my mind during the day or something. I don't play this game to be panicked and be given a 3 level sequence to play. I love the option of it, but I wish we could turn it off. Aside from that, I'm very high in levels and enjoy the game play overall.

Buyer beware do not buy this game! I rate this no stars!. I am 70-year-old woman with stage four cancer. I bought the game so that I could be rid of ads and have the time needed to solve the puzzles. I thought this would be a good distraction for me. I am on a limited income, so I do not buy every game that comes along in fact, this is one of the very few that I thought would be worth the money. How wrong, there is no way to turn off the timer, so there is no way to solve the puzzles within the time that they are giving you. There are still ads and I can only play the game if I’m lucky 10 minutes before I run out of options. The game is not relaxing. It is frustrating. It’s sad that this could be a wonderful game for distracting from life’s issues, but the creators are so money hungry that they don’t care. It’s a sad world that we live in these days.

Used to be fun- pay to play. I played this game a lot. It was fun. I made it into the 400 levels, but since the new update, it’s impossible to play without purchases. It used to be that you could win a level and then your time would start over on the next. It’s impossible to do that now as there’s a set time for a whole group of levels that reset every time you fail. It’s obviously a ploy to make players like me, who play for free, have to make purchases. I’ve now deleted it. In their defense, I understand that’s how they make money, so it isn’t fair to get mad at them for the update - hence the four stars. If you’re willing to pay, it’s a great game. I’m not - there’s too many other actually free games out there.

Designed to make you loose. While addicting, this game is designed to ensure you don't pass a level until the creator seems to want you to. Otherwise there's absolutely zero reason that when trying to move a rope with significant slack over to the right one peg that it would fly up and under two ropes and over 3 more; that just doesn't happen. You can also have a rope lined up perfectly with a peg and it just...won't move. Even one with significant slack that you're only moving one space over. Also worth mentioning that when waiting for new lives, when id go to check knowing enough time had passed or that I'd only have 2-3 minutes left, the countdown clock was ALWAYS at 29:55. Always. There's no way im just that accurate [especially when there should have been closer to 20 than 30 minutes left]

Lots of Potential but Poor Execution. There is a lot to like about this game but one aspect of it that is absolutely infuriating is the node placement. I frequently place a node down in a new location and then it moves itself back to its original spot. Then I move it again, and it moves itself back. So I move it again to the same spot and it moves itself right back. Finally, after 3, 4, 5 times moving it to the same location, it stays, but by then so much time has been taken off the clock that your lose the game. It is like the game is intentionally fighting against you. So, instead of being able to focus on the game strategy (the fun part of the game), you end up focusing on the semantics and the fun is sucked out of the game. Such a waste of opportunity because they couldn’t get the fundamentals right. So disappointing!

Quickly becomes impossible without spending $.. I played this for a bit, but the game quickly went to a place where you simply can’t win in the time allowed without buying some “help”. Which I rarely do and certainly not in the first few days of a game. I like puzzles, I loved the doable levels even if they took quite a few tries, but an entire day on a single puzzle, a few tries at a time and having to go back again and again as you have more lives, that wasn’t fun. The game also moved to single color ropes, or I guess they were dark purple against slightly lighter purple. Well I’m only 62 and have pretty good eyesight, and this could be a good brain game for older people, but I couldn’t distinguish those and the game is no fun if you can’t even see the tangles.

Love puzzles, hate the timing part. Really wish they would include some way to opt out of the timing and prizes. I just want to to do the puzzles, I don’t care about beating levels or prizes, I don’t need any of the cheats, I just want to chill and figure out how to solve the puzzle. I normally don’t have an issue beating the time, but when it does come to a more difficult game and I run out of time, it makes me want to delete the app. The only other game I play is solitaire. I play to relax, keep my mind occupied solving a puzzle not stressing out about the stupid time and having to restart! Seriously about to just delete the app and go back to only playing solitaire. And I know I sound like an old lady but I’m in my 20s

Great game but need to fix lives. I just did the update hoping this would fix the loss of lives even when you win. Why are we losing a life even if we pass or win the challenge?? Shouldn’t it be if you lose or fail the challenge where you lose a life? We are already spending the coins to play it, so you have to lose a life too even if you win? It should be only if you didn’t pass the challenge. That’s how it is in other games I play. Otherwise it’s one life per challenge no matter if you win or lose? Then have to wait another 30 mins to get one meanwhile you are getting notifications that you earned a challenge. Makes no sense & doesn’t sound right. Please fix.

Good Premise, Terrible Execution. Fun idea to start with, where the tangles are twisted and must be untangled. Fine, whatever. Eventually the timer gets shorter and levels get more complex by adding additional end points on the threads. In theory, this is fine. In practice, the physics engine has severe limitations and the “game” becomes an exercise of frustration as tension is applied arbitrarily and points snap back when moving, land underneath other laid threads, and apply literally impossible tangles. I understand this is a thinly veiled cash grab, but I went through at least fifteen lives on level 165 and my mindless time waster is no longer enjoyable. For folks with more patience than me, maybe promising for the first hundred or two levels but don’t bother wasting money on purchases. By the time you need it for one level it’s better to quit and find a new one

It is an amazing game. When I first saw this game on the ad, I was like, “oh my gosh, I will not get this” because they did not have good ads yet. Then I saw it again and got it because they had better ads and I read the reviews. Now I have it and I love this game so much. It does not cost any money or anything like that. It looks exactly like it does in the ads. It starts out easy and gets harder as it goes. I love it very much and it is also just like the best game for everybody, myself included. Now it is one of my favorite games. So if I were you, I would not even think about turning away from this game.

Used to love this. I used to love this game. I’m on a high level 3000+ but I played it a while and frequently. In the past couple of weeks the timer got cut to 1/4 of what it used to. It has made advancement literally impossible and what I used to have 4 minutes to solve, I now have 1 minute. The very hard levels give me all of 1:20. I don’t like it anymore and I am slowly stopping to play because there’s no advancing. The only way is to spend coins for extra time and when it’s 900 for extra time and you only get 30 a round, it’s awful. Not sure why you cut the time to 1/4 of what it was but you could have instead cut it in half so at least it is attainable. This has truly turned me off of this game.

Potential for a better experience. I really like the idea for this game. It’s fun and simple and satisfying. There are a lot of ads & that gets annoying, but what I really hate is the timer on each level & the number of hard or very hard levels vs. easier ones. I’d consider buying the ad free version of the app IF there was an option to play without a timer. I want a Zen option. I play mobile games while listening to audiobooks and the timer on each level can get to be too much to work with while listening. I get too stressed and usually just end up choosing a different game. If there were an option to play without a timer, I’d probably be able to play this game all day, even with the ads.
