Just started and was on level 5. I just downloaded your game which, for the first 4 levels was fun and easy, but then I got to level 5 and a request for a 5 star review popped up. I haven’t played enough levels to honestly give you a 5 star rating. So, I tried to make your review request go away until I had played enough levels but I couldn’t make the review request go away! 😡You got your review and I only give it 3 stars on account of that no one will be able to give you an honest review because you high jack the game! I don’t appreciate that. If you fix this ridiculous request and make it so that people can give you an honest review, then I’ll update this review-it might be worth 5 stars then. We will see.

Used to love this. I used to love this game. I’m on a high level 3000+ but I played it a while and frequently. In the past couple of weeks the timer got cut to 1/4 of what it used to. It has made advancement literally impossible and what I used to have 4 minutes to solve, I now have 1 minute. The very hard levels give me all of 1:20. I don’t like it anymore and I am slowly stopping to play because there’s no advancing. The only way is to spend coins for extra time and when it’s 900 for extra time and you only get 30 a round, it’s awful. Not sure why you cut the time to 1/4 of what it was but you could have instead cut it in half so at least it is attainable. This has truly turned me off of this game.

Lots of Potential but Poor Execution. There is a lot to like about this game but one aspect of it that is absolutely infuriating is the node placement. I frequently place a node down in a new location and then it moves itself back to its original spot. Then I move it again, and it moves itself back. So I move it again to the same spot and it moves itself right back. Finally, after 3, 4, 5 times moving it to the same location, it stays, but by then so much time has been taken off the clock that your lose the game. It is like the game is intentionally fighting against you. So, instead of being able to focus on the game strategy (the fun part of the game), you end up focusing on the semantics and the fun is sucked out of the game. Such a waste of opportunity because they couldn’t get the fundamentals right. So disappointing!

Either full or impossible. I got to level 200 and it’s says level 201 coming soon. So it seems I beat the game. The standard levels up through 200 are easy, there might be a few, less than 10 that are kinda tricky but otherwise a bore. The hard levels and expert levels are irritating because of the move limit. This game has glitches in which include: there are points when you move a string and it does not stay in the spot you loved it but moves back to where it was. There are also points when the strings are not overlapping but they are next to each other and touching and it will not clear those strings. These are glitches that especially in the hard and expert levels where you loose a move when you only have a limited number of moves to complete the level.

I used to love this game. Now…. With the advent of the timer, which can’t be eliminated, this game has dropped from on I played on a daily basis to one I only play occasionally. I like relaxing games, especially ones that challenge my ability to figure out a puzzle. It’s the reason I enjoyed the game so much. The timer ruined the game for me. Now all the relaxation is gone. The timer makes many levels a scramble to get complicated tangles undone before the timer runs out. Not at all relaxing. I just spent at least 5 times adding 20 seconds onto a super hard level rather than having the opportunity to plan out my moves. The cost doubles each time for a piddling 20 sec. How about adding a no timer option? There are those of use who want to play relaxing games. With NO TIMER. Once I end up using all my coins I’ll delete the game. I do purchase items in games I enjoy. I won’t be purchasing anything unless there is a no timer option added back to the game.

Goodbye!. This was a 5 star game for almost a year. I played daily. Practice improved my ability to solve these puzzles and I even managed to make progress in the challenge levels and the daily tournament. But the developers keep changing the game. And not for the better. Levels didn't previously have a timer except for the challenge levels. And now every level is timed. And the length of time is too short even for an experienced player. You are practically required to purchase the new boosters (shuffle, scissors, etc) in order to make progress. The cost isn't a problem for me since I have amassed 1.5 million coins. But for an experienced player to be forced to use a booster on almost every level is a real problem. This is no longer fun. I made it to level 9311 but it is unplayable after the last 3 updates. Goodbye!

Frustrated about # of ads 😫😤. ** Update** Deleted the game, couldn’t take it anymore! I’m a huge puzzle fan! When I saw the ad for this game I was like, “yes please”! The game is fun and keep getting more difficult as I progress 😌. The huge downfall is the number of ads 😫😤. I can understand an ad after a few puzzles solved, but after every, single, game, played?!? There are two options after each game I thought would help with this issue. First option is to receive all the points won if you watch an ad., and the second option is to receive half the point won to skip ad. I clearly selected skip ads. Yet, the ad plays and is as long as the live long day. It would be great if you’d allow players to skip ads for a few games than play the ad or even make the option after each game actually work. After the four or fifth game, issue the full points won and play ad without an option to skip. Let’s be clear, I know there is an option to purchase the game to avoid ads completely. With prices on everything going up, I can stand to watch an ad once in a while. Emphasis on once in a while! Not watching ads more than playing the game and longer than it takes to solve the puzzle. I’m not one for writing reviews, but this was truly warranted. I’d hate to delete the app, but with it operating as is, it’s causing more frustration than relaxation. Hope to see changes in the next update!

Great game but…. I’m at very hard level 99 and I’ve spent about a week trying to move forward. I paid for no ads and I won’t buy items to move through a level. When you can’t move forward even on a hard level after a week and you can’t use the coins you accrue in the game that tells me one thing your just a money grabber and you don’t want me to enjoy your game. I’m bored at level 99 and now since I can’t move forward I will now delete this game and no longer play. I miss the days you pay for a game and literally play info play two others games like this here and I treasure them games aren’t fun if I have to spend a week playing one level. Also I waste so much time moving pieces to places and it not sticking it’s crazy. Your telling me you don’t want me to move forward unless I pay well I did and what’s your excuse now? Gave up one week playing one level it’s deleted.

Great game but need to fix lives. I just did the update hoping this would fix the loss of lives even when you win. Why are we losing a life even if we pass or win the challenge?? Shouldn’t it be if you lose or fail the challenge where you lose a life? We are already spending the coins to play it, so you have to lose a life too even if you win? It should be only if you didn’t pass the challenge. That’s how it is in other games I play. Otherwise it’s one life per challenge no matter if you win or lose? Then have to wait another 30 mins to get one meanwhile you are getting notifications that you earned a challenge. Makes no sense & doesn’t sound right. Please fix.

Like the game but….. It’s a fun challenging game. My problem is the movement, when I go to place piece if it’s not exactly precise it won’t go where I want it. I understand there are some strings under tension and have a limit to their travel but these are ends That have slack and should move to any one of the spots near by and I’ll waste valuable time on the harder levels trying to get ends placed and then run out of time I also don’t care for the clear greed of the app, 30 minutes to get a heart back before I play again but if I buy add on at an insane price The if you watch am ad you get 15 minutes of unlimited play but have to wait six hours for that to be an option again. The game is fun but not that fun Level 99 was my breaking point. There is no way to make it without using a bonus somehow. At that point I had to buy something to make it work. The pieces in the upper side of the map are so jumbled I could not get any end to move to another spot so I just kept wasting time eventually running out. I got tired of wasting two days trying the level and the delays I’m earning hearts to play added to the frustration with the game…..so I’ve deleted it

I like the game but purchases are stupid. As someone who has been playing this game from time to time and have spent money on it do not buy any no ad packs. I didn’t realize that they charged a dollar per day (or 24hrs) for no ads which is stupid ($30 per month or more) instead of just having a flat rate for a whole month or lifetime which I’ve seen many other apps do. Also sometimes the game gets buggy which could make it worse for you when one rope you’re about to untangle glitches under another rope for no reason and forces you to lose time which in then turn makes you lose a heart and the level and have to start that level over again. I like this game but come on a 30 dollars a month for no ads and also the glitches? Do better.

Like the game but a few issues. I really enjoy the concept of the game and I paid to remove ads so nothing bugging me there. Solving these puzzles is great. Nice brain game. But, the issues. The movement of the is elastics is unreliable. I understand that the ropes stretch and sometimes cannot be moved if they are stretched too far. That’s not what l am talking about. There are times the rope is slack but it takes me five tries to get it to stick to a new connection. This is aggravating and burns up time. This should be fixed. Second, the time limits are simply not long enough. Some of the levels are technically easy but I fail multiple times because the timer is just ridiculously short. This is particularly aggravating when the movement issues cause me to lose precious time trying to move ropes that should stick but won’t. And finally, there is no way to earn prizes. No matter how many levels I blow through, no goodies. No things to cut the ropes, extend the time, etc. You have to pay to get anything. And there are no hints whatsoever so if you get stuck, and can’t spend money, then the game is over for you. Unfortunately I think I have reached that point and am unlikely to play any more.

Good game … but. I really enjoy this game, but I am only giving it two stars because of the placement of the continue game button. When I play the game, I don’t watch the clock, I just try to finish. But when the clock stops, it immediately takes you to the page that has a giant button that charges you coins if you want an additional seconds. If you want more time, then you just press the button, but most of the time, I’m not even given a choice because of my finger placement during game play. Depending on where my fingers are during play, when it immediately switches to the page asking if you want more time, my finger is on the button that charges me coins to continue playing. I don’t even have a choice. It’s so frustrating. I’ve lost thousands of coins this way. When I tried to get support, it would not go through. For these two reasons, this is a two star rated game for me.

Used to good now its costly!. This game used to be good but they changed it and now it’s so aggravating. They basically cheat. Its so geared for you to advance you have to pay for a booster. You can’t play the game as intended because it’s programmed to snap back from where you intend to place an anchor eating up your clock so you have to start over losing a game. It’s not a puzzle because it’s not about finding a solution. It’s not a strategy game because even if you figured out the way to solve it in time the anchors don’t stay put where you place them. The game makers are cheating you! It’s one thing if you don’t solve it in time it’s another when you do but because you can put your anchors where you intended and they don’t stay eating up your time clock. The only way to advance is to buy with real money booster!! And it not cheap as far as most games go! Don’t waste your time or money on this game!!

Not fun anymore and very disappointed. I was loving this game. Key word here is “game”. It’s no longer a game. I enjoy a good challenge but this is ridiculous. The only way to get past a level(when you’re up at the 2400 levels)is to buy your way out. You call that gameplay? Next if you join the race and win as in come in first place and it says claim your prize well half the time when you hit the claim button nothing happens. No coins. Then this issue with the timer. If you solve the puzzle when there is 1 second left. That should mean you solved it. The timer stops at 2. You lose. It should stop at 0. Wow! What a concept. This “game” or whatever it is now is a great idea. I was enjoying it very much. The past 2 days have been horrible. I found myself extremely frustrated. I deleted it. It’s gone. I will not play anything by this game developer again. The game is a great idea but you are cheaters. 👎😡

Way way way too many ads. Played a few tournaments, took down a few boss levels, played a few dozen campaign levels…and this is where I landed: Way too many ads. The cost to remove the ads is too high early in the game. What I mean to say is the problem with having so many ads right out the gate is the user doesn’t get far enough in the game to really get a feel for if they enjoy it or not in order to justify paying to remove the ads. I got in a habit of just dismissing the app every time an ad popped up after a level…which was about every 1-2 levels. So I wouldn’t play long before I was already killing the app until I did it so many times I’m just deleting it. It looks like it had potential and I would have possibly paid to remove the ads, but I never got far enough to get past the “easy” levels to really determine and got super sick of forced ads. Buh bye 👋🏼

Mostly good. This is a super fun game, I’m fairly addicted it it, if you want a simple game and like untying knots, this is for you. Very colorful and there’s tons of fun relaxing levels with some challenging levels. Buy the upgrade, ad free mode, it’s worth it. The down side is that sometimes you get a bug that prevents you from moving anything, even if there is plenty of slack. Usually restarting the game fixes that bug but it does mean sacrificing a life. Most levels are great where you have plenty of time left and others have short times and are clearly set up to make you spend money. I’m not a fan of the 1min limit. I barely make it halfway untying and if after running out of lives on one level multiple times… I contemplate deleting the game. Lol. But again I’m fairly addicted…

Less stars because of bad ads. I really love this game. If I could rate it here just on the game, I’d give it 10 out of 5 stars. The reason for the lower stars is based on some really disgusting, inappropriate game ads with no vehicle to report them within the game. I actually deleted the game from my phone because of these ads but missed it so much I downloaded it again, hoping to find a way to report these ads and this was the only way I could find. These ads are for games where you can play as a medical person helping patients with their problems by “cleaning out” various parts of the body, etc. Some of the game names are Happy Hospital or Happy Cafe to name just a few. They are really just disgusting and the reason I don’t know the right names is because I cover my screen until they are over. I can’t imagine how bad the games must be if just the ads are this bad. PLEASE remove these types of ads and stick to ones that aren’t gross. There’s enough gross in real life without bringing into “play”. I’m absolutely positive that I’m not the only one who feels this way. Thank you in advance.

I used to like this game…. It was so fun to play and I really enjoyed figuring out the puzzle of each level. But with the newest update they made the time for each level ridiculously low and they are impossible to finish in time- and not just the hard or very hard levels, the regular levels too, and it’s infuriating! And I haven’t been earning the usual 200 or 300 coins for the harder levels, just the measly 30, which makes it take forever to earn enough coins to buy more time, which you inevitably need because they cut back the time for each level so much 🤬 I used to find the game relaxing and didn’t even mind the ads after every single level, but now it just produces too much anxiety because I’m always just a few seconds away from solving it! Horrible update.

Good game… with some issues. I quite like this game, but have some problems with it. Firstly, it runs my phone (4 month old iPhone 14, battery health 100%) very, very hot and drains the battery faster than streaming movies. If I am charging the phone while playing, it will pause the charging due to overheating. After about 10 minutes, my unplugged phone, in a case, will leave the side buttons quite warm, and if I play for 15-20 minutes, they are almost too hot to touch. As other reviewers mentioned, for the challenge levels and boss levels, there often aren’t enough moves, relying on adds for extra moves (draining and heating further) The rate that the ‘lives’ refill to play the challenge levels is far slower than unlocking those levels. You have to spend a life to play it, win or lose. And since I prefer the harder levels, it is frustrating, as I don’t want to pay for extra lives. I would play this game more if it weren’t for the issues

Mixed bag. I enjoyed the game and played a lot for about a week. Around level 200 it seemed like the time for each level was much more than needed even for the hard and super hard levels (pretty sure I played upwards of 200 levels without losing a single life at one point) but now that I am just over level 700 the time available has dropped so significantly that even the normal levels are practically undoable in the time and you have to buy more time on every level. I tried to count for one level I believe you have 1:00 for something like 18 ropes? It has been an enjoyable way to fill time up to this point, but I won’t continue if the only way to progress is through real money transactions.

Fun game but will cost you. This is a fun game at first but the hard levels are almost impossible to beat without spending money on extra items. After awhile I found the game to be stressful and not relaxing. If someone took this concept and made a game that was actually paced to the users progress it would be such a fun game. Or just have you the option to play the puzzles. They start quickly reducing your time and increasing the difficulty so you will buy in app purchases, which is fine, but they don’t give you barely anything and it will make you mad to no end. Not at all what a game should do. I deleted the app because it quickly became frustrating and boring when they don’t pace the progress through. You don’t get much for the app purchases, one of the more expensive games I’ve played as far as in app purchases. Quickly lost interest. Wish someone would come up with this game where you could just figure out the puzzles (tangles) and it wasn’t making it difficult in an attempt to get you to buy in app purchases. The ads are constant. Nothing relaxing or satisfying about this game after level 20 or so. I waisted money hoping it wouldn’t be so frustrating after several more levels. I’d pay monthly for an app I just enjoyed playing and was challenging but not frustrating and the app purchases cost waaaay too much.

Super fun game, but not worth $7.99. I really enjoy the challenges on this game, but it’s really frustrating that you only get 5 lives. I even paid for the ad-free version, thinking that would extend lives since that’s the case on other games I’ve played, and you still only get 5 lives. Some of the levels are pretty difficult, so it’s frustrating to be stuck on a level for so long. For $7.99, there should be more perks than not having to watch 10 seconds of an ad before moving to the next level. Plus, there are still a ton of ads to watch, unless you are willing to spend even more money for coins or tickets. I’ve tried watching the ad to get 15 minutes of unlimited lives multiple times, and even though the ad says reward granted, I’ve never actually been rewarded with the unlimited lives. In short, I love the game itself, but I want more lives.

SO MUCH FUN!!. UPDATE: PLEASE PLEASE REMOVE THE STUPID EMOJI at the end of each round! It’s soooo annoying!! Don’t listen to negative reviews!! I’m on level 150 and while I did pay to upgrade for no ads (I hate ads), I have never had to purchase any extras to get to level 150. I have spent .99 cents twice to play for an hour without worry about losing lives but that’s only because I was waiting and figured it would be a great time killer. I’m 100% convinced that it takes patience to get through the levels. I’ve had to play the hard levels multiple times to memorize the easy way to untangle certain parts, so you slowly work your way through the really hard levels. I’m actually really glad you only get 5 lives otherwise I’d probably be playing for hours straight!! lol I highly HIGHLY recommend this game but bring patience or better yet, learn it. Too many people lack patience so this is a great game to learn patience. Have fun!!!

Can’t play without internet connection. This game is pretty cool, it’s a great time killer, it’s fun, satisfying, and pokes at your brain. The problem to me personally is that it requires connection, I don’t normally play phone games at home cause if I want to play something, I’ll play a console, but when I’m commuting or at a restaurant or something, if I don’t have decent connection, it just shuts down altogether, doesn’t let me in at all. The other problem is just how many ads there are, after every level, u get an ad, complete a level, advertisement, lose a level, advertisement, open up the game, advertisement, feels more like the creators made this game with the intention of being more of a place to store their favorite advertisements, remember the connection issue? Yea, no airplane mode either, it costs $8 to turn off ads.

Interesting game but glitches out and stops working. I have played a lot of this game and for the most part it has been interesting and engaging but when you get further through and the more complicated the knots get the game I think stops being able to handle it and stops letting you move certain pieces. It’s not a distance thing, you can always try and stretch something and hang onto it despite it not fitting somewhere else, but instead the piece just jumps back to its spot the moment it seems like it might work somewhere else. It’s specific pieces at specific times and for the more complicated levels that means you can’t finish them. Also, sometimes if you tangle certain strings enough they’ll clip through each other, or more likely themselves, and so they untangle for you. That part is actually handy for particularly frustrating 2 string tangles but it does prove that the physics system is messed up

Starts good, goes downhill. In general, fun to play, untangling knots is so satisfying. However, all zen is lost when the clock is counting down constantly over what could be a chill experience, and because of the limitations of a 2D game, the way they overlap the strings starting about level 60 just becomes infuriating - if I could just reach my fingers in there and pull this one that way, I’d be done, but that isn’t possible in this environment. Nothing they can do about that part, but the timer then forces failure when you can’t finish, and unless you wanna give them unlimited money for unlimited time or lives, the fun becomes even more short lived. For a free game, you get what you paid for, but could certainly be improved.

FANTASTIC until level 119. I’ve had so much fun progressing through the levels of Twisted Tangle. They start out extremely simple, but get a little more difficult as you go, but not too hard. The game is very similar to the ads. Just move the ends of ropes around until you isolate the whole rope and free it. keep doing this until the board is clear. I wish I could go back and play old levels again, but it won’t let you do that. Boosters will be introduced that you can use to help solve more difficult levels. It’s good challenging fun until level 119. Then the Hard and Very Hard levels are too difficult to solve without using one of the boosters to cut a line or add more time. Getting more of those requires spending real money even after I paid for the game because I loved it so much. Now I’m stuck on level 139 and have given up playing it. Such a shame because it was so much fun.

Fun but …. The games fun. Gets you to use your brain. Move your phone around to see different view points. But I think it’s absolutely stupid how expensive everything is. You have to buy more lives for 900 coins but each passed level is only 15 coins? So then you get tempted to PURCHASE coins. And the time limits are ridiculous and don’t count down correctly (we’ve clocked it) and it takes half an hour for 1 life to come back. I think they’d benefit more if each level gave you more coins (like I’m on level 64 and still only getting 15 coins when I complete a level … same amount as level 1. Seems stupid) it’s also incredibly annoying and completely unfair they most the time when you go to stick an end of a rope somewhere, it won’t go there. Not because there’s no more slack. But just because the game glitches and you have to waste time trying to stick it several times. It’s a good concept. But poorly executed.

Fun and Addicting BUT... So it is so much fun and addicting especially if you have ADHD. But don't bother with the ad removal--for every single thing you'll still have to watch ads. new skins-ads. New pins-ads. Extra coins-ads. level boost-ads. it most definitely is NOT worth $8! you don't really get anything! Next let's talk about the timer- i get a timer in games but most give you 2-3 minutes to figure stuff out... less than a minute is ridiculous. kids have trouble beating it-as an adult i just barely come in under it! i'm constantly having to get them past a level. Upgrades are awesome- if you have any hope of getting them before getting old. good upgrades 4-5k in coins which would be fine if you didn't make 20-30 a level ugh. They make a fun game way more stressful than they should. i gave it 3 stars because it is fun and the graphics are good especially compared to others

Was enjoyable until it became impossible to win…. I was enjoying this game fairly well up until I hit level 700. Yes, there are a lot of annoying pop-ups with this game—especially with always asking you to watch ads for things. There should be a “don’t ask me again” option. I don’t mind sitting through the occasional ad here and there, but being constantly asked to do it is very annoying. Also, really think the emojis are a crappy detail. And don’t even get me started on the issue with placing the pegs—I’ve lost levels because the darn thing won’t be consistent. You know where I’m trying to go, stop bouncing around! Puzzle games are some of my favorite games to play, and while I love a good challenge, making something impossible to beat without having to buy more time is just ridiculous. The “hard” and “very hard” challenges were usually the really frustrating levels with lots of easier levels in between that made the game nice and relaxing to play (more or less), but once I hit level 700 even those became next to impossible without buying more time. It’s just so disappointing. I don’t need my games stressing me out more than I already am, and I just wish they’d give you more time or a no-time option all together. All this has made me go from playing daily to hardly at all now. Will likely delete soon. So disappointed.

Ba-Bye!. The developers need to work on this game some more. I really like this game but I’m going to need to delete it. I’ve been on level 99 for well over a week. The time allowed for the level simply isn’t long enough. I can’t ever get to the last section of ropes to figure them out because time runs out. You do the same moves over and over but don’t have enough time to finish the level. I refuse to spend money on games. If there were other ways to earn coins to extend the level time that would be great. Maybe daily bonuses to save up coins to extend the time on a level, something to help. At this point I would need to spend money to make it past this level. I simply refuse. It’s too bad because I do like the game, but it has become too frustrating and not relaxing at all. Why continue when I’ll never make it past the level. It is the very definition of insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. The reality is that I won’t make it past this level without paying money for more time. Ba-Bye!

Ultimately, I Hated This Game. I loved this game, the game play was super fun, the design was easy to understand and the graphics were appealing enough. After playing a hundred or so levels I came to HATE this game. There are ads everywhere, they’re super long and they generally can’t be muted, so if I’m listening to music while playing I have to listen to annoying sounds overlapped until the ad ends. Still, not a deal-breaker, I get that game devs need to make their money. Where I ultimately decided to get rid of this app was on 2 items: 1) (more minor) the game play is a little glitchy, in that the string ends don’t reliably stay in place, and can take a few tries to get them to stick, which makes it untenable for 2) the time limits. I like puzzle games, and these puzzles are super fun, setting ridiculous time limits on the level to make it difficult, and not because the actual puzzle is difficult, but as a cash grab, is where I couldn’t stand this game. Some levels take time to untangle, and if you don’t pay your way out, you’ll be stuck for a long time until you can memorize (and get lucky, see #1) and beat the level. Nope. Nope. NOPE!

Interesting, but WAY too many ads. There's an ad (30 seconds in length) about every sixty seconds (they're *likely* shown based on passing levels, rather than time, but the beginning levels are very easy and I got through them quickly.). I downloaded Twisted Tangle less than an hour ago and have been forced to watch over twenty ads in less than thirty minutes of game play. *Once* was, I suppose, my fault, because I clicked on what I thought was a 'free point multiplier' - but no, it was another ad. I just thought I'd won something after passing a lot of levels. It's too bad, because the ad I saw that caused me to download the game did make the game look interesting and challenging indeed, but I won't pay $8 to find that out, and I can't (or won't!) take an extra 10 minutes to watch ads every time I happen to get a half hour game break.

Ok but could be improved. In the beginning, I had a lot of fun with the game. There was no timer and it was simply trying to undo tangles. As you proceed, the game obviously gets more difficult. Other barriers are slowly added to make untangling more challenging. However, after a certain number of levels, the untangling becomes timed. There is no way to go back to “easier” levels and no way to get around timed games without needing to pay for infinite lives or hoping you have accrued enough coins to pay for work arounds. I really am not a fan of timed games in general and wish it was at least possible to go back to earlier levels to just play the untangling parts. Like the game but ...... I really like the game but can't really recommend it. Based on reviews I stuck with the free version to level 100. The ads are pretty intrusive. I'd be happy to pay for the ads free version but from what I can see it won't really get rid of even most of them. You are constantly asked to watch an ad for some kind of bonus. A bigger issue is the timer. The amount of time to solve a puzzle is really short so this is more of a beat the clock game than a puzzle. When you run out of time it will cost 900 coins for 20 secs. Since most of the levels only reward 15 coins it takes a lot to save that much. You will have to buy them. And because there's no time to actually figure out how to solve the puzzle you will fail a lot and run out of lives. It will cost more money to replenish lives. I don't mind giving something to the developer but this will run into serious money for a little bit of playing time in between a LOT of ads. And you still have to race the timer. There's no way to remove it. Very disappointed.

The time limit is a cash grab. I started playing the game and loved it, until I started getting into the harder levels. They make the puzzles more difficult with barely enough time to solve to make you buy upgrades. There’s a lot of levels that due to the time limit there’s no way to solve it without buying more time or using items and lets add the glitches to that which also makes you waste time or makes moves you didn’t want. You should have an option to play without time to make the game actually relaxing. There’s already an obscene amount of ads that can’t even be muted and I understand that’s what pays for the game but forcing the player to upgrade by limiting moves, shortening the time it’s just foul. Good app but I’ll delete. If later on I see some changes I’ll play the game again

Good Premise, Terrible Execution. Fun idea to start with, where the tangles are twisted and must be untangled. Fine, whatever. Eventually the timer gets shorter and levels get more complex by adding additional end points on the threads. In theory, this is fine. In practice, the physics engine has severe limitations and the “game” becomes an exercise of frustration as tension is applied arbitrarily and points snap back when moving, land underneath other laid threads, and apply literally impossible tangles. I understand this is a thinly veiled cash grab, but I went through at least fifteen lives on level 165 and my mindless time waster is no longer enjoyable. For folks with more patience than me, maybe promising for the first hundred or two levels but don’t bother wasting money on purchases. By the time you need it for one level it’s better to quit and find a new one

Potential for a better experience. I really like the idea for this game. It’s fun and simple and satisfying. There are a lot of ads & that gets annoying, but what I really hate is the timer on each level & the number of hard or very hard levels vs. easier ones. I’d consider buying the ad free version of the app IF there was an option to play without a timer. I want a Zen option. I play mobile games while listening to audiobooks and the timer on each level can get to be too much to work with while listening. I get too stressed and usually just end up choosing a different game. If there were an option to play without a timer, I’d probably be able to play this game all day, even with the ads.

Bad customer service. Horrible customer service…. Until I ran into an issue with their app, it was a fun game. Been playing a few months, at level 700+. Then, would try to make in-app purchase and all I get is the shuffle circle with the only way to exit is to either shut my phone off/on, or, delete/reinstall the app. Then, I discovered I was being charged every time I attempted purchase, yet, never receiving the purchase. I sent emails via their settings “contact us” x3 with never even an acknowledgment of my communications, ever. I have asked Apple to refund for what I didn’t receive, although, gotten no response from them as yet either. Does “no company” have ANY sense of how they get paid!?!?. I can just as easily walk away as I did begin to play. I hope they choose to refund. By the time I realized I was still being charged, it was a decent chunk of $$. Won’t be recommending this app to anyone. I’m old enough to remember, the law used to be, if running a business, there had to be a person you could physically contact.. that needs to return. Hiding and ignoring will only work for so long… …. The worst customer service. They don’t exist if no one buys.,

Very glitchy. I really enjoy the game, but the app has tons of problems. The first time I burned through all the levels and got to boss level 600. The app completely froze at 600 even though I shut my phone off and tried a bunch of different things. So the only thing I could do was delete the app and add it again. That took me down to level one, and I had to start all over again, which I did. A few days later, I reached level 600 again. It actually let me play boss level 600, but after I’ve finished the game I reset itself back to the beginning. I kind of assumed that maybe 600 was the highest level they have developed this. I made it to that level in three days. So for the second time, I’m at the beginning, level one (yawn), and soon made it up to 350. Then it started regressing back to 300, then 250, then 200. And there it stayed, stuck at 200. Over and over and over again, stuck at 200. I have level 200 memorized. So once again, I deleted the app and added it back and now I am on good old level one. This app has some serious problems.

Continue Playing Button is a trap!. This game could be a lot of fun but in reality it is just frustrating. It is designed to milk as much money out of the user as possible and the CONTINUE button is the worst!!! It is placed in a way that it is hard to avoid accidentally pressing at the end of a game, which means you will lose 900 hard-earned coins for a measly 20 seconds of extra playing time. Given that the reward for playing all but the most difficult games is a maximum of 30 coins, it can take a long time to collect 900 coins. Of course, you can always purchase more coins but that is the point of placing the Continue button where it is isn’t it? I personally don’t think the ads are too unreasonable and I would be happy to pay some money to support the developers, but I have completed enough levels to know that I would rather not spend my relaxation time playing a game that is just an exercise in frustration!

Way too many ads and arbitrary time limits. Okay I have a lot of things that I’d like to address in this review. First off, there are way too many ads. It seems like every minute I’m seeing another ad. Because I am. The time limits on each level are crazy. Maybe one level I’ll finish with an extra minute and a half on the timer, but the “super hard challenge levels” are designed to make you fail so you’ll pay 900 coins for 20 seconds. This is impossible when you only earn 15 coins per level, so the only option in the end is to spend your money. This game is pay to win, and although the concept and some levels are fun, I think it’s completely ruined by the timer. The ads would even be acceptable if the game itself wasn’t so incredibly frustrating. But hey, at least the money farm is working, right? Because it doesn’t matter how horrible the game is when you don’t pay, you only care about the experience of people who have hundreds of dollars to spend on mobile games, which is a fair business practice at the end of the day.

The good, the bad, and the ugly. First, the ugly. There is a blocking bug on level 2004. So I tried to contact them via their setting dialog in the app. My email was rejected because their mailbox is full. That was two days ago. They released an update yesterday and that did not fix my problem. So I emailed them again with the same result. A bad look for the company. Second, the good. It’s an interesting exercise in untying knots. The main screen has pretty straightforward problems to solve. More difficult problems are available in the Challenges screen and the Boss exercises. Third, the bad. The main screen is fairly simple, typically requiring less than a dozen actions to untie the knotted ropes. No limit on time or number of actions taken. But the “advanced” exercises are much more complicated. They have limits on moves and sometimes on time. I had one Boss exercise recently that allowed 68 moves and 28 minutes. The only reason the limits are so high is because there are actually four unrelated complicated knots to untie, instead of the single, simpler knots in the main screen. I think the challenges should be not be so arbitrarily long. I don’t mind the difficulty but it seems like the move limit is chosen so that the player must watch videos to get extra moves to finish untying everything. Nope, I will not watch a video just to complete a challenge. I just quit and start a different one.

Way too many ads to enjoy the game. Within the first 5 minutes of playing this game, I had 4 pop-up ads. It's not consistent, either. It's not every _ minutes, it's not every _ levels. I counted having a pop-up after I completed 3 levels, then another after I completed 2 (which was less than a minute after the last!) The amount of pop-up ads is WAY too much and too often to even get a good feel for how the difficulty of the game may progress. $7.99 to remove pop-ups is asking quite a bit when I wasn't even able to get through 10 levels without those 5 ads. I definitely don't mind the banner ads at the bottom since they don't get in the way of the game, but I was really disappointed that I can't even enjoy the game at all. I understand people need to make money from their games, but this is way too much. Definitely a game I ended up deleting after 8 or so levels and 5 minutes of playing 😕

Not enough moves…. I’m on level 321 and I love this game. Figuring out tangles is tons of fun and great for my 71 year old (tomorrow) brain! But I’m finding that the boss challenges no longer have the number of moves required to solve many of them. Just as I’m getting close to solving, I run out of moves…and for the last five boss challenges, not even watching ads for 8 moves are not enough! AND WHO is the genius (NOT!!) who has started putting loops with no moving ends? That costs too many of my moves…so I lose now! Come on now, staff; play nice here! Invent something that rewards me for good playing; create a circle ⭕️ that if I free a tangle with/using that circle ⭕️, two sets of tangles disappear! Thank you for a game that engrosses me with the gameplay. (Please, not so many 🚫circles in one game…🤔🤔)

Waste of space. If you can manage to get past the 8 dollar ask price for ad removal, which is after every stage whether you complete it or not, then if you can manage to get past the fact that the game has lives which are spent whenever you don’t complete a level, which you have to pay for, then after that if you can manage to get past the fact that the game runs like garbage on iPhone and the levels are TIMED, so you helplessly watch the time tick away while you are unable to interact with the puzzle due to your phone becoming a fireball after some of the ‘hard’ levels, it’s still garbage. And those ‘hard’ levels are only semi entertaining to begin with, as the puzzles are usually two, three, or four of the same set of strings, spread across a larger board. Get out the Mac for this one I guess, but at that point there are better games you can buy for less than the 8 dollars necessary to make this game almost worthwhile.

Progress Difficult. I enjoy this game but progress is definitely difficult. There are few ways to earn coins, and then it costs 500 to 900 coins to buy a little extra time. And so far I haven’t found ANY way to earn more boosters and buying them is nearly impossible because they cost thousands and, as I have said, coins are difficult to accumulate. I was moving slowly on my iPad so, I decided to open another game in my iPhone. Interestingly, more lives or extra time costs 500 coins on my iPad but, it costs 900 coins on my iPhone. Why the discrepancy? It makes no sense. Hard and very hard levels are difficult to pass but, with patience you can do it. I am on level 99 after a few days. I have not decided whether to keep the game or not. But for now I will continue. Developers . . . If you made it a little easier to progress, people would be willing to spend more money. But I for one am not willing to spend money on every difficult level that comes up.

Love Hate. I don’t ever purchase games. But once I played this a couple times, I decided it was a lot of fun and I wanted to actually purchase it. But then later regretted it. I liked the game because it wasn’t so hard that I didn’t enjoy playing it but it was still challenging so that’s what made it fun. But I don’t like the fact that it’s timed. Have I noticed that before I bought it I never bought it. It takes the fun way. I don’t like the stress of having to work against the clock and of course they don’t give you near enough time because they want you to purchase items. So either charge for the game or charge for the items the fact that they do both really stinks. I don’t want to sit here and spend ridiculous amount of money on this game. I like it but I don’t like it that much. Very disappointed. so I will be uninstalling. Enjoy my $7.99. This game is over.

It is an amazing game. When I first saw this game on the ad, I was like, “oh my gosh, I will not get this” because they did not have good ads yet. Then I saw it again and got it because they had better ads and I read the reviews. Now I have it and I love this game so much. It does not cost any money or anything like that. It looks exactly like it does in the ads. It starts out easy and gets harder as it goes. I love it very much and it is also just like the best game for everybody, myself included. Now it is one of my favorite games. So if I were you, I would not even think about turning away from this game.

Too many ads. Why don’t consider making it a paid game instead of annoying the people? Could hardly play around 10 levels.

From love to hate. Why on earth have you changed the whole gameplay by making all levels a timed game? I enjoy the challenge of a timed game, but I used to play to relax as I untangled and now you’ve taken that away. Sadly I’m no longer a fan after playing for years and paying to remove ads.

Honestly quite creepy. Wanting to send push notifications, having an entire “privacy policy” about how you sell user data, constant ads, and you can’t even play without an internet connection? Just… gross.

Fun…. until. Terrific game to play. But when you get to a certain level of difficulty the completion time is significantly reduced. The only way to get extra time is to spend money. That’s when I moved on to something else.

Mediocre, False Ads. Overall the game is okay. It can be fun, if you don’t mind the (disruptive amount of) ads they play. Gets kinda boring and repetitive if you play too often. That said, I’ve seen the app has started falsely advertising themselves with things that are literally not true about their game; so they now get 1 star review and an uninstall.

Timer. Would have been better if you could have an option of not having the timer. Starts to get frustrating. Was looking for a relaxing game but this is not it.

Developers too greedy. Could potentially be a really good game but developers are way too greedy with their pricing. As levels get infinitely harder once you get stuck on one there is no way to earn even a small amount of coins any other way other than buying them. The pricing on the coin packages is frankly ridiculous. Basically $5 for a 20second extension to a level. All they’ve done is price themselves out of ongoing game play. I’m happy to pay occasionally to support devs but this is extortion. Unfortunate cos could have been a great game

Waaay too many ads. The game is fun, however there are so many ads! Each level takes about 30-40 seconds to complete, and you get an ad every 3 levels. That’s an ad pretty much every 2 minutes!

Too short a time. The rope would move easily enough within the time period. I would put them in place and they wouldn’t stick. No interest for me. Working out how to untwist ropes is ingesting but I have other games that are times where there is a challenge. This isn’t. I’d prefer the ropes get harder where I’d actually be trying to figure it out. Not race against a clock. Boring. Delete.

Disappointed. I paid for no commercials & the game is still full of them … very annoying after each game have to wait at least 30 seconds to have another go… if I knew would not have paid $7.99

Times is way to short. I really enjoyed this game until I hit level 700 then the time to complete the puzzle was so short it’s almost impossible. Unless you pay the 900 coins to go extra time. please review the times and increase them.😢😢😢

Too many ads. Fun game but far too many ads. There is an ad every second level. I played until level 11. So far not challenging but too many ads for me to consider continuing.

So many ads!. There are SO many ads, and you can’t put the phone on airplane mode like every other online game. Generally you can skip the ads after 5-10 seconds, but what gives it a 1 star from me is that even though you can skip every other ad, you can NOT skip the gambling ads, and need to watch the full minute. No thanks! It’s not worth it to watch a minutes worth of ads every level, when a level only sometimes lasts 15 seconds!

Far to many adds to even enjoy the game. I downloaded this for a wind down time to just enjoy, after every level there are adds that take too long to get through, then you “unlock a new item” watch add to get it as well. Deleted app, won’t be downloading again.

Ad Simulator. Requires always-on wifi, shows banner ads during play, ads every 3rd level and bonuses for ads between every level. Seriously… this is mobile gaming?!

Mode without a time limit. I feel that this has been a recent update but having a time limit on the puzzles has made me delete this one. They are difficult to solve as you get on and it takes 20 mins for the lives to refresh, so I now rarely play it. I love the concept but having a time limit has really changed my enjoyment of the game.

Get out the bug spray. Since yesterday’s update it is continuously freezing after each game. I tried turning my phone off & back on, shutting & reopening the app. Nothing works so I guess I’ll just go play something else till it is fixed. Usually love this game but now it’s broken.

Oh my god! The ads!. Look. I get free to play games need ads. You gotta have some money coming in. But sweet salty christ. The forced ads are every 2 level, and you still get prompts for watching ads for rewards. And you have to pay $7.99 just to not be pestered every 2 minutes. These free games a driving me nuts.

Twisted tangle. Yeah a fun game, but claims of no ads is a lie! Get to a stage and have choice of watch ad with bonus or no ad and continue racing against clock. You get ad whatever! Very frustrating. Watching ad while timer is ticking is not fun.

Nice puzzles but…. Like the puzzles but if you don’t get it right you have to watch ads to try and complete, even if you were to buy the game. Was enjoying it, until…. I have reached a point where it is unplayable. There is a loose rope, and a loose red pin - but no explanation anywhere how to resolve this issue. The rope runs off the page, so you can’t add the pin to it, but without that you can’t solve the game. Very disappointed in this, as I paid for the ad free version.

Too Hard. Stuck on level 99 for weeks - too hard. Time limit is too short. Can’t go any further. Waste of time for me. Should make it unlimited. Not paying to extend and still not being able to do it.

Level 8 is not possible when both ends are fixed. Stupid game when you can’t get very far at all. There are no hints and no way of progressing. Thank you for letting me know that you don’t play your own games. Will not play a game of this company again! Grateful for the knowledge.

Was good until most recent update…. Managed to get a good number of levels into the game, was having fun with it, paid for advertisements removal, and was getting a good number of coins and had good rope skins and backgrounds etc. Then the newest update drops and now the game is pay-to-win, needing coins to get extra time to finish levels, instead of short ads. My 10,000ish coins that i had managed to accumulate, in the 5-7 days before the update, were drained in minutes when i hit a “very hard level” that i can’t finish because of the very similar coloured ropes that blend together and are very hard to untangle. I’m now stuck on that very hard level and can’t get it untangled. I’m not going to spend money on coins that don’t guarantee level completion. Not happy, deleting app.

Ads ruin it. The game itself is great. But I don’t think I’ve ever played a free game with so many ads. You end up spending more time being forced to watch ads then you do actually playing the game. Such a pity.

No incentive to continue playing.. Time extensions, if purchased, are only 20 seconds. And to purchase more, the cost jump, is extravagant. No opportunity to earn coins, which can make this an expensive game. No incentive to continue playing.

Was good till you spoiled it. I really liked the game, until you made it impossible to finish with such short time limits, then we use up all our coins saved, you are going to lose a lot of players, give back our normal time.

No Timer Mode. Could I please request we have a mode without a timer? I love the game, it’s good to destress, but then the timer makes it stressful! I’d love an option to not make it timed, so I can take my time and have fun with detangling? :)

Levels repeat. Paid to get rid of the adds only to find that levels repeat and some of them just don't seem solvable without watching adds for extra moves. No option to retry boss levels if you choose not to watch the adds, so I can't confirm that

Rhyona. I endured the adds until around level 7 looking forward to the more challenging levels then I decided life is too short to watch so very many long adds. I deleted the app.

Too many ads. Great concept but I’m not paying $8 to remove ads on a game I’m not sure I’ll be playing in a month. Removed the game instantly when I realised there would be a pop up ad every 2 levels.

Bug and glitches. Often the ropes can’t be untangled because holding and dragging them to the right spot they flick out of your hand and either twist around tighter or just make it impossible to quickly finish a level which is always the point. Also was hoping for more of a chill experience then fast panic, which is almost always what you get.

Fine for sporadic play. As usual another game with meaningful progression locked behind ongoing purchases and/or time. So you will loose hearts or “turns” and just have to wait for more to appear. Don’t get attached to the game and it can be enjoyable for some time.

Mode with no time limit. Fun game, but i would enjoy it a lot more if there was like a “zen mode” where you could take your time untangling a large area (maybe having to zoom in and out). More for relaxation, then the normal mode could be for competition and winning coins etc.

Good Game you need to pay though. Game seems fun and may be worth paying for as the adverts are just ridiculous. way too long and at one point i had 5 in a row. But as mentioned paid version may be ok just not for me

Buggy. Keeps freezing. Ads between levels are far too long. And having a timer on a puzzle game is ridiculous. Why can’t I just relax and take my time playing games? Why does it need a timer?

Fun, but overheats my phone. Fun and challenging, and the ads aren’t as long snd frequent as in other games. BUT! It makes my iPhone overheat, so I can only play maybe 4-5 rounds at a time.

Why is it now a timed game?. I used to love this game. I’m at level 539. Was using it to help with problem solving skills post brain injury. Suddenly the levels are timed, the challenges are gone. It’s impossible. The changes have rendered the game unplayable. I put up with the constant adds, the jerky movement, glitching out all the time, and surprising level of heating up my phone, but this is too much, I’m deleting.

Timer was a wrong move. Adding a timer to make levels more “difficult” just turned this game from fun, challenging, and relaxing to stressful, annoying, irritating to play. The time is too short and I liked it better when we had challenging levels with certain number of moves rather than 1 minute to untangle like 20 ropes

Too frustrating. This game is fun, but time given is too short, and no way to extend except with coins that accumulate so slowly I needed to spend real money to buy enough to try again. No option to watch an ad to extend time. Also ads at every transition with no benefit to the player. Too bad. I like these kinds of games, but not this one.

Ripoff!. I paid to have the ads removed and I keep getting offer after offer to buy coins or whatever so that you can continue playing and they make it so hard that you have to pay to play on. What a total rip off! I want it refund

30 seconds unskipable video after every 20 second level. You’d spend more time watching ads than actually playing. Their levels are usually 15-20 seconds long but after every level there is a 30 second unskipable video ad. So you’d be spending twice the time watching ads then actually playing. Once I get that annoying experience, don’t forget to leave a review here.

Stupid timer. This game was great before they replaced the move limit with a timer and added “power ups”… which you think would be for when your struggling not to undo impossible knots you can’t solve without cutting the string. Im taking a break from this game, hopefully the developers remove the timer or I’ll just find another game to play. Genuinely disappointed and frustrated with how the game is recently.

Too many ads. Every level you complete it starts an ad that can take at least a minute and 3 clicks to get rid of.. 10 bucks to remove them..don’t waste your time

More ads than play time. 60 seconds of play time then 60 seconds of add very irritating and takes all the fun out of the game

Too many ads. I enjoy the actual game but HATE that there’s ad after ad after ad. It’s really annoying that not only you have a very limited time to play, you get an ad after every single level. The extra tools should be won somehow not having to buy stuff that could be earned just like coins. The ads should not be so long. You’re losing your players if your UX doesn’t change soon.

The king killed it. I’m going through every single app on my phone and deleting every one that has a Royal Match ad of any kind, prioritizing deleting the ones that interrupt my life to show the ad or force me to watch it to successfully complete the game. While Royal Match may be a fun game (not sure….after about 20 ads I wasn’t interested and the 2,000th ad more than sealed the deal….I will never download it), the ads for it are shown WAY TOO MUCH across too many apps/games, and I’m OVER it. So, while I liked this game, I saw the king interrupt my fun and deleted it. So many other games…I don’t need this one.

Not enough moves for boss levels. Another player expressed my concern perfectly. This is a good game for brain training. However, the boss levels have become difficult to see, for example, the dark purples and dark browns, are so difficult to distinguish. Primarily, there are not enough moves to accomplish the levels. Multiple tries of eight moves means waiting out the ads. Consider playing these games yourself to see if you can solve them.

Excellent game but needs help. The draw back in this game…you need to beat a lot of levels to earn enough coins to buy tools. Which is great except when you hit levels that require a scissor tool and you don’t have enough coins to buy one. It’s set up so you must spend money for tools or abandon the game. There are no daily gifts, no other way to gain tools besides coins earned by winning levels or spending my hard earned cash. Sad because it’s a good game.

really cool game but lotta issues. When I first got this game, I thought this was going to be fun, and it was, until I had to delete it. The reason I deleted it was the ads. Yes, I understand completely that you guys need to advertise but after 2 levels, I’ve had these really annoying ads that are like 30 seconds long just to play 2 more levels and get another 30 second ad. Way over priced game, but fun. OK to start with the game is very fun, graphics on point, animations are a little wonky sometimes other than that it’s a solid game. Second the game is way overpriced at 7.99! Should be priced around $2.99. The free version has way too many ads, and must only be played connected to the Internet. Which defeats the purpose most of the day when I do not have Internet access three stars is all I can give based on those factors maybe if the price drops to respectable price, the stars would go up

Fun, mindless game; pretty regular bugs. The game itself is fun. If you like it enough to get the "no ad" version, it's pretty nice to play. The major complaint I have is that random bugs keep popping up, often for features that used to reliably work. For example, the current bug I'm encountering is that the boss levels pop up every 5 levels or so (like they used to) but the "play" button doesn't work. So, if I want to play a boss level, I have to exit the main game, find the correct boss level, and then watch an ad.

Too many ads!. They give you two choices: a higher payout amount if you watch an ad or a payout at 50% less. Even when you select the lesser amount THEY PLAY AN AD! They’re pretty much forcing you to pay for the no ads option. I’m not! Maybe I would, if they set realistic timer countdowns. With the unrealistic timer countdowns they are also forcing you to pay to pass the levels unless you want to play the same level 50 or more times. Sorry this game os a complete cash grab. Greedy if you ask me! Uninstalling immediately! I’m sure they don’t care, they’re probably filthy rich by now. They won’t be taking MY money.

I’m done with these two cent games. These games are a ripoff. They want so much in ad view time. Then ad removal cost. Then you still get in your face screen pops to buy a bundle every minute or less sometimes. This is the second game that won’t end the game. So I uninstalled and installed it again. And I am back to level 1 when I was in the level 3000 area. What right minded developer does not retain your game progress in the cloud at least these days. I’m pretty sure they have enough room for that overhead with the ad revenue alone. Just dumb I couldn’t play anymore at level 3000 but I can play fine at level. Oh I also had finished all of the bonus levels as well. Thanks.

Too many ads even when you pay for ad free. I like this game, but I pay for ad free so that I don’t have to deal with clicking no to a million things in between games. I paid the money for ad free and now after every game I get asked if I want this booster or this “challenge” but to get it I have to watch this or that ad. Stop it! That’s what I already paid for! I don’t want to watch ADS! Now I see I can pay ANOTHER $7.99 to get rid of the requested types of ads…I already paid. Honor that. Very frustrating. Will probably uninstall…even tho I did pay for it. AND, I can’t contact the company to complain unless I download “mail’ from the App Store…what?! I have an email app….I don’t need another email app. Ridiculous!

Fun but no rewards. This game is a lot of fun, however you can’t win anything except to continue to the next level. Most other game apps allow you to win more lives or tools to help achieve levels. They also allow you to watch ads to gain lives or rewards. NOT THIS GAME! When you win you don’t get anything. You can watch an ad for very little coins. It seems like this company has not kept up on what other game apps provide for winnings. It’s too bad because this game could get a lot more people to play, but it lacks to keep people interested in playing by providing bigger rewards

Fantastic game!. Great game! It has just the right amount if varying degrees of difficulty. It has occasionally exceptional difficult bonus levels. I play this game for several hours every single day! To all the others. Please only review the game itself. Don’t simply complain about ads. Ads are advertisements. Advertisements are commercials. Commercials are commerce and commerce is money. They need money to make the game so complaining about ads is just a waste of everyone’s time.

Ads are overkill. I totally understand the ads allow users to play for free, but the FREQUENCY and LOUDNESS of the ads is overkill. I turned the sound off on the app but the ads still blare on full blast and there is no mute option on the ad or ability to report them. I like to listen to music or podcasts while I play and the ads just smother whatever I’m listening to in volume. It is supposed to be a relaxing game and it is becoming the opposite! I’m reading so many reviews of people reporting the same issue with ads and deleting the app. Please for the love of all things… FIX THIS.

I wish i could. I want to like this game, but i just cant recommend it. There’s a really steep learning curve, the shortcut tools (like the scissors and fan) cost way too much in-game gold compared to how much you earn per level (1500 for 1 scissors vs 15 per level), and the timer is usually way too short. It’s so expensive trying to play, not to mention dealing with ads if you don’t pay to remove them, I’d say this game is worse than just pay to win, its almost pay-per-level. There are way better rope puzzle games out there that wont hemorrhage your bank account, even though they might not have as nice aesthetics. Don’t waste your time or money like I did.

Game play is ok, but the ads are ridiculous!. The game play isn’t very challenging, every 10 games or so you are presented with a more challenging puzzle, which is actually a good test. But you will need to watch dozens of long ads before you get there. Yes they offer an ad free option but it’s $.99 per day!!!! That would be $365 a year if you played every day. This is ridiculous!!! A dollar a day for an occasional challenge is just NOT WORTH IT! $2.99 for no ads and occasional challenge would be worth it but not $365!!!

The Truth. First, is a solid puzzle game with its own concept. Good for killing time and keeping your grey matter stimulated. I really like this one. Just a few complaints. 1.) Ads are about twice as long as they should be. It’s easier to just close the game and reopen it than wait a full minute to clear the ad. Just stop it. 30 seconds is a healthy livable limit. Not a minute and a half. You’re only hurting the longevity of your game with this. 2.) The timer is a bit too short with how picky your controls are for placement. It’s annoying and causes players to need to repeat levels they would have beaten the first time. 3.) If the timer is close to zero you can still lose once you’ve finished placing everything because the game takes additional time to resolve the position of ropes. This needs fixed.

Why the countdown clock?. I love this game, I’m in the 800’s level unraveling rope by rope. I like this game because you can take your time figuring out your next couple of moves. But all that has changed with the latest update. You added a count down timer. My enjoyable leisurely game has turned me into a palm sweating, heart racing lunatic, constantly checking the time left on the timer. Would it be too hard to put an option in the settings where you can choose to turn the timer off or on? I’ve come too far to have to delete this game now! 5 stars down to 1 because of a timer - such a shame.

Unhappy. I used to love this game. It was very relaxing and so enjoyable, and it was my favorite. I liked that there were no timers, move limits, or lives. I like being able to take my time to figure out what my next move will be. Too many games make you hurry, hurry, hurry with no time for thought. I was thrilled to find a game that worked with the way my brain works. There were levels that had move limits for those who wanted that type of challenge. So, I was very disappointed to discover that there are now both a timer and lives. I no longer enjoy this game at all. I’ll probably keep it for a while longer, but if it stays this way I’ll probably, sadly, delete it.

Not the most fun. The game has a great concept, but I have a few issues. First, the levels aren’t very long nor hard, therefore easy to complete quickly. Secondly, there are ads after a level or two. I’m fine with ads, but not so frequently. Thirdly, the hard levels are limited both with time and moves. I played one and there were nowhere near enough moves. I would like to play huge levels like that, because the ads I see for this game show only the hard levels, and no timer nor move limit. Otherwise, this is a decent game.

Unbalanced. I don’t recommend this game unless you like watching ads. I paid for the no ad feature but the problem is the main game play is super easy and the challenges while challenging but not unbeatable, give so few moves that in order to finish you have to watch long ads to get additional moves. The first time you get 8 moves and 4 every time after. I enjoyed the challenge of the challenges games (which there are many) but got tired of watching ads for extra moves and I didn’t see any help to finish them except for watching ads for extra moves. Will be deleting 😔

Bait and switch. I really enjoy the mindless challenge of this game for a break. But I have become fed up up with the offer of 4 extra moves for at least 60 seconds - or more - of the king puzzles which is the worst bait and switch game ever. Then after suffering through all that, you don’t get 4 moves - EVER - you get 3 and when you put your finger on the phone to make the 4th move - more another ad for four moves that are really 3. I’m done. I’ve watched the same ads till I’m dreaming them when if I’d gotten my 4 moves I’d have been done 8 to 12 ads earlier. You don’t get what you suffer for and it’s ruined the game.

Wake Up! Unfair Game. What is the matter with the Developers? Don’t they read the comments. And how does this have 4.6 stars when the “recent” and “critical” comments greatly outnumber the positive ones. Don’t they even read the comments? People HATE the timer! People hate the strings hopping around and refusing to be placed where the player wants. Those strings even play their own game … diving into the center of the tangles. People feel angry and cheated. If you need the money, then let us pay for NO TIMER. And fix those bouncing strings. I just downloaded the latest update. POOH … nothing changed. Just the same trashy scam! WAKE UP developers!

Company is dishonest regarding their ‘no ads’ option. I purchased the ‘no advertisements’ option. For that, I get thousands of puzzles that can be easily done - they don’t get MORE difficult as one progresses, and I earn coins that can’t buy ANYTHING useful - like extra lives or power ups. I can purchase different backgrounds? And all the difficult puzzles give limited lives and all kinds of ads. I feel I was duped into purchasing their ‘no ads’ option which really just puts you into a loop of easy games to distract you away from the fact that if you truly want more difficult puzzles, you have to suffer thru TONS OF ADS. Collecting coins is also a distraction. I am currently in the 500+ level and have $200K of coins. The levels haven’t really increased in difficulty and the coins only purchase aesthetic items. This company is sneaky and dishonest. I won’t be purchasing any more of their games.

Time to find a new game. I was on level 2235. Noticed I was forced to play against a timer on a hard level. Thought I accidentally hit the wrong game since I always enjoyed this game to just relax. When the next day it was the same I figured let me delete the app and start over maybe I just got the point in the game where it is what it is. Well level 10 is a timer also. I don’t want to be timed. I enjoyed the relaxing pace , taking my time. That’s what I liked about this game. If I wanted a race there are plenty of other games out there. Way to go developer!! I don’t get it. There was an option if you wanted to be toned why not leave it that way?!

Wish there was a permanent buy option. I love the sounds and the puzzles. I wish there was an option that you could buy to play without being timed, so you could really get focused. I don’t really need all the fancy customization options and items. Ideally for me, there would be a one-time purchase option for a game like this without all the extra stuff where you can just solve puzzles as long as you want.

Hate the new update. So I’ve been playing this game for a bit, paid for mostly ad-free and have overall been very happy (I’m at level 4373 if that says anything lol). It was a great game to relax with and turn off my brain, maybe do a boss mode or challenge level if I wanted a harder challenge. However this new update seems to have added a timer to every single level, so now it’s super stressful and I hate it. It wouldn’t be so bad if there were an occasional hard level, but something about the timer on every level triggers stress and anxiety where before it was a peaceful game to chill with, so I don’t know how much more I’ll play. This makes me sad.

Another ad problem. Think about it….you throw up an Ad it looks interesting to me, I downloaded it, I go off to play that game and your game is left behind. You are getting paid to promote your competitors! Someone has really duped app developers. I like this game a lot but an Ad after every round is ridiculous. I would rather pay for the game then sit through all of these Ads. I don’t play very often because it’s so annoying! And now you are charging .99 cents for 24 hours Ad free? That’s just greedy! Not doing it. Another great game to sit and collect dust. So sad.

TIMER?!!!!. I have played this game forever and before this new update I would've given it five stars! Some levels are easier, some levels are more challenging but you could always take your time and figure it out. Now apparently they've added a timer! I refuse to play games that have a timer! It takes all the fun out of trying to figure out the tangle because you're so stressed trying to beat the timer! I cannot find a way to turn off the timer so I'm asking you developers? Is there a way to turn off the timer because if there's not then I will sadly delete the app. There should be a way to turn it off!

Ads Absolutely Ruined This. I downloaded this 20 minutes ago and I already deleted it specifically because of the ads. I can deal with an ad every 10 levels or so, for unlocking content or getting bonuses; but when there is a 5-15 second ad (some with multiple screens to close!) between every level, after every challenge level, and when the main button for a “you unlocked this!!” popup is to watch an ad (the option to just continue is on a delay to load in!!) - it’s too much!! I love knot puzzles and from what I could tell the actual puzzles were fine, but I literally could not take the constant barrage. 0/10 would not recommend!!

Repeated problems. Although the game is challenging and fun to play, it was constantly miscounting the number of moves I used thus I was often unable to finish a challenge with the allowed number of moves. Then I would have to sit through an advertisement for a game that I didn’t want to obtain more moves. Often when the advertisement was over I was locked into an endless loop which I couldn’t exit until I installed the unwanted game. I finally deleted the game to avoid future frustration.

Love Hate Relationship. This game is GREAT. I am a puzzle fiend and love the challenge that these puzzles give. Unlike all of the in game screenshots and reviews, my game has only timers. No move limits. The "very hard" puzzles are impossible to get within the crazy short timer and in less than 20+ tries. I am stuck on level 199 and it has a 1 minute 30 second timer (which is impossible). You only get 5 lives and you have to wait 30 minutes for each life (which is garbage). I went from playing every day to playing much less because of how frustrating it is to have to wait for lives and run out of time.

FRUSTRATED!!!. I started out absolutely loving this game as it was challenging, relaxing and fun!!! Gladly spent money on 20 seconds of extra time to solve the tangled puzzle. As I climbed to higher levels I got stuck (and still am) on level 419. I have more money than should be necessary to try and untangle the puzzle and after a month of trying, I am still stuck!! Now I’m ready to delete the app because I refuse to continue to spend more money only to fail because 20 seconds is not enough time especially when the game gets “glitchy” and I can’t move the ropes. Super frustrating and annoying!!!!! I developer should at least offer progressively more time.

Wish challenges could use stars for extra moves. Fun game but I paid for the ad free version and yet, if I want to do the more challenging “challenges” levels and need extra moves, I have to watch looooong ads. Meanwhile I have 86k stars that I can never use unless I’m willing to watch the ads I paid to never have to see. So dumb. Plenty of games revenue model allow for in game purchases without ads. Switch to that please. I’d gladly pay $2.99 for a package of extra moves. Check out Royal Match for the best revenue model I’ve seen in a game. First game that has consistently gotten my money.

I used to love this game. Recently they put out an update that made the game a lot less fun. There’s time limits on everything, no immediate reset, and I appreciated the added moves if you run out in boss levels. Now all of that is gone and I feel like I’m stuck on the same level time and time again unless I want to spend coins for an extra 20 seconds. I get more frustrated, and am much more likely to exit the app feeling unsatisfied with the entire experience. I need to feel like I’m moving forward to feel good about playing a game. I’m starting to not feel this since the last update.

Ads. There is no excuse for you showing even one ad on your app that does not contain a mute button. Why are you forcing me to turn off the sound manually on the side of my phone to stop the idiotic noises that some of these ads are presenting? Give me a mute button for every single ad. The simply no reason not to. If you are going to force me to watch, and at least give me the option of killing the sound if I’m not interested.

Interesting, but don’t know how long I will play it.. This game is fun. I understand that their object is to make money, but there should be an option to solve the puzzles without a timer. I know, $$$! The most frustrating thing for me is the one-way portrait playing mode with my iPad charging port at the bottom so you can’t charge your device while you are playing. I don’t know why so many developers make their games like this. When my battery gets low, I just find another game to play. Why not develop them for landscape mode so charging is not an issue?

Ads, ads, and too many ads!. Great game but ads and cash grab for very little benefit are wearing thin. This is not a game for the long haul unless you have lots of unneeded bucks. Game is glitchy as others have commented on, which wastes the little time given for solutions. I’m keeping for now but not for long. Did I mention I paid for a limited number of no ads and had ads anyway. That’s a fraud. No real instruction that I could find, only ones described the option for boosters as in the rope version on the game, but these options aren’t available on my version of this game. Too many ads and too expensive.

Was better before update. I have played this game for a while and recently found that with the new update, many of the things that made this game nice and relaxing have disappeared. Now the levels have timers, adding an unnecessary pressure. They merged epic and regular levels together so now as one progresses one is forced to play hard and extremely hard levels that cost coins or lives to continue. All around poor development changes. I am playing this less and less now looking for a better version without all the forced playing constraints. Turned a good game to cr@p with a few simple keystrokes.

Enjoyed the game when I could play it. Either charge to download it or cut back on the ads. It’s clear you want people to pay to play. There is ads in between every game it feels like, and they are 30 second ads, so it doesn’t feel like I am playing a game, it feels like I am wasting time watching ads. And I would have perhaps made in app purchases had your set up been different, but I don’t like feeling forced to do something. Your get rid of ads pop up almost immediately was a red flag, and it just feels greedy, manipulative, and almost retaliatory for not purchasing the $4.99 ad blocker. I am uninstalling. I can’t reward the gimmick.

Love ads? Want your phone battery to be hotter than the sun?. Have we got the game for you! We’ll overload you with ads, putting an ad on the bottom of the gameplay screen at all times. Not only that, we will ask you if you want to watch an ad after every level, PLUS every 2 or 3 levels we’ll force an ad on you. Just to push you further toward that $4.99 purchase of no ads. And then, of course, we’ll make your phone heat up like it’s left on a parking lot in the middle of an Arizona summer with clear skies. Because we TOOOOOOTALLY aren’t secretly using some of your phone’s processing for malicious purposes :D

Only lasted until the first ad. Seems like a fun puzzle game. I completely under the need for ads, I don’t mind ads. The issue is after watching a video ad, they put up a full screen banner with an X button that is way too small actually press. So you end up opening the ad multiple times until you get lucky and hit the screen just right for it to count as hitting the X button. I know I could probably just spend money to get rid of the ads, but then why even have the option to play for free? I’m already watching the ad, don’t use dark pattern UI to make me spend more time with ads.

Love it. It’s challenging at times , sometimes it takes me a few tries to figure it out. I love you can buy different things to personalize your board the way you like. A tip to anyone wondering about the ads - Whenever you finish a level watch the ad for extra coins. If you do that there’s really no pop up ads. The only ads are the banner ads. Stole my coins. Fun and addictive. Enjoyed the challenge immensely until, out of frustration on one of the hard levels, I decided to use 900 coins for an extra 20 seconds. I was able to beat the puzzle. But when the usual ad came up, I closed out the game to avoid it, and when I came back, it started on the same level I had just beat. Of course my coins were gone - so I deleted the app. Perhaps it was a glitch and I should give it another chance?

UPDATE. Update- The have since added a timer. However, there is no option to play without the timer. Some people like the timer and that’s fine. I do not. Made the game go from relaxing to stressful to beat the clock. Lost a star and I’ll be deleting the app. TOO MANY ADS- Forced ads after every single level. You have the option to choose the coins earned from the level or watch a video to multiply them. When you don’t choose the video, they force a video anyway. The forced video does not even have fast forward to get out earlier. It makes you watch it. With that, you may as well have chosen the video to multiply the coins. But I’d rather not. Either way, it makes the game a hassle to play with so many forced ads!

Ads cause in-game glitching. Ads appear at the bottom of the game screen, causing the game to glitch. This creates an issue resulting in failure of the level. Forced ads after every level is bad enough, now this problem is popping up during game play. I was happy when I downloaded this game because it was fun. But having to endure all the ads after every level and then failing levels simply because of the ad you placed on the page makes it not enjoyable. I’d play this game if an internet connection wasn’t required. Now it’s deleted and replaced with a similar game that requires no forced internet, unlimited “lives” & no glitching! I’d give zero stars if possible.

No storage and what’s with the timers now?. I started playing this game on my iPhone and it overheated so much I couldn’t play any more. Then I switched to my iPad after I bought one. The overheating was gone but I had to start all over from level 1 after getting to level 981 on my iPhone because your progress does not back up anywhere. Even with that, I started over and liked it so much I paid the money to get rid of the ads. Now, every level has a timer on it and no way to turn it off. It’s so frustrating to play now that I don’t want to play any more. I really wish I could get my money back on the ads and then I could just delete the app.

It was good until. This was a fun game when each round had a limited number of moves. But recently during updates, it was changed to timed rounds. It’s not as fun now as it was with just a limited number of moves. I’ll leave it on my device for now. maybe they’ll revert to the original format, or at the very least give us the option to choose. I can’t really complain about the ads. It’s a free game you’re gonna have to sit through ads. I didn’t notice any excessively long ads or ad interruptions I really only saw them between rounds where it’s understandable for them to be.

Very fun, but…. I’m addicted to this game. It’s super fun and it feels great to problem solve and get the knots untangled. But there are a couple of things that REALLY need to be updated/added to the game. First, you should be able to win hints or level skips or something. There are currently no options for either of those, so if you’re stumped on a level, that’s it. There’s no getting past it and you can spend days stuck on a single level. Second, the ads. You can purchase an ad buyout for $7.99 I believe, which I did. When you finish a level, it gives you the option to collect a certain amount of tokens, but if you watch an ad, you get twice as many tokens. If you spend $8 on the ad buyout, you should get the top number of tokens without having to watch the ad. If the developers made those updates, the game would be far more enjoyable!

Not Worth Buying. This has potential of being a great game which I would purchase at full price, but when the game itself is challenging enough without a timer and you include a timer with impossible time limits, all you are doing is creating an opportunity for us to just keep spending to extend time to get to the next level. I will not waste my money on a game like this. Add an option to play without the timer and then include timed challenges and we might talk cash. Until then, I’ll hold onto my money thank you.

Unfortunately Uninstalled. This used to be my favorite game to unwind at the end of the night. I was willing to pay these creators to keep the game supported and ads at bay. Twister Tangle was both challenging and relaxing, with different levels of challenging and the ability to switch in between. Then the entire game changed. Everything is timed and stressful. More time? Pay more money. NBD. But the value is awful. It’s not remotely worth it and has become a complete cash grab. Gone is the relaxing game with mental challenges… now it is entirely stress and speed based with no challenge levels and no relaxation. With great disappointment, I have uninstalled this game.

Won’t Play Until….. I won’t play the game again until I see an update about reducing the ads. I get you need them, but to play two games in 30 seconds and then get a a 30-45 seconds of an ad is too much. That’s not even playing the multiplier game to get more coins. It’s fun, but not worth it, as all a do us watch ads. Not paying for ad free as it seems that’s the creators intent. I play a lot of app games and never pay for “no ads”. However I have never seen so many on the free app. Thanks, but no thanks.
