Won't start. The game “Rocket” won't let me start it and play and some other games won't work and it's just a pitch-black screen when I first saw it I was so excited to play something new it kicked me out of the game and I got so disappointed but its a great conce

GREAT CONCEPT + VARIOUS NEW GAMES. I think this concept is really great and could become something big if gone about the right way , and some technical issues get resolved. Some things I think people would really enjoy are : Trivia games (multiple regular topics , Netflix based topics ), truth or dare , truth and lie games , This or that games ( multiple regular topics ,Netflix based topics) , sorting games( for kids) ; along with mini multiplayer games , split screen multiplayer games , and even international multiplayer games and tournaments. I really like this concept , and again it could go so far if built on the right way!!!

gamepad support missing. not the most intuitive way to play games. It would be way better if a game controller is supported. And for some games like the Reign, swipe gestures should be implemented.

It will not let me play. I’m trying to play it but every time instead of sending me from the camera to the game it sends me to the camera to the App Store and then the game which it will not let me open it if it does not immediately open up the app I need this to be fixed I cannot play Infernax

love the concept. Great concept !! I love that I don’t have to buy a switch haha. Would be great to have more group options!

The game. When I was play for the first time it was good and the game were fun but when I try to play again it say I couldn’t connect to it so I just thought it was just that game so I try the other and it say the same thing so I went to the help center website to if it was the bug or not but it never show it I was very disappointed in this app it hope it can get fix so me and my sister can play these games

Doesn't work, but I have an idea. You should make the connection an in-app thing, like have an in-app camera that works only for the QR codes. Please make this, it is really helpful!

Just used it for 20 mins. It works. The game controller works and it's shocking how roku didn't decide to do something similar or sell an accessory. I understand the earlier reviews could have been when it wasn't working but to me it works when I used it so perfect rating.

Won’t work. So I was trying to play a game on Netflix when I scanned the barcode the app popped up on the bottom of my screen like normal but when I pressed open app it said you have to by the app first and I already did that so I deleted the app the I deleted Netflix then signed back into Netflix with my password then I it did that again so it could be my phone or the app

When?. This will be fantastic when it happens. Any updates on when to expect it?

Parental permission glitch. Like many, it automatically asks parental through App Store. I approved it downloaded so apple will not repeat ask every time. To me this seems easy to just add camera access like every other app that requires access qcode to function. I’m sure it’s more complicated but doesn’t make sense

Billion dollar idea. A suggestion I have it to make multiplayer games like puzzle games that can be played through different tvs or split screen controlled through individual phones Deep story mode games would be awesome too I’m liking all the new takes Netflix is having these past few weeks

GREAT concept!. It’s obviously still a work in progress but it is a fantastic idea and great when the app actually connects to the TV. I’m running iOS 17.4 on my iPhone 13 and it was able to connect once, but no longer :( I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. But! My sister’s phone is a new model running the same iOS and it connects 100% of the time. Like I said, it’s still got some kinks that need to be ironed out, but once they are I’ll be playing a lot more

App clip no work. So I have parental controls and this is an app clip so when I downloaded it said please get this app when I already had it installed so I restarted my iPad and it still said please get this app so please switch this to an I app not an app clip because if you have parental controls it won’t work

I have the app but it won’t let me connect. I love the idea of this and I’ve seen other people play games on Netflix before and I do the same thing but it will not let me connect my phone so it’s an amazing idea. It’s a great concept. I know it’s still beta, but I just can’t connect.

Does not work. It seems great and that it might b fun but when i scan it, it says i cant connect or make my phone to a controller for the game ive tried almost all the games and still will not work i dont know why but it was worth a shot.

Fun, but want to see Bluetooth. It is a great concept and all, but it would be easier if you could connect though Bluetooth. Also I want to see some multiplayer games and more game options. I can’t wait to see the full version released.

Love the concept so much fun!. Definitely buggy rn such as sometimes when I open the game I want to play, there is no way or option for my phone to connect to it. Which makes me not be able to play. But I did get to play once and it was a lot of fun!

Please help me. I am trying to use it but when I scan the link it tells me me to download the app but it also says it is downloaded and then it bring me back to the app so I can’t play anything . It worked in the beginning but now it does that.

Controller not connecting. I’ve played with the controller before and it connected immediately now when I try to play it just sent me to the App Store for confirmation, but it doesn’t let me connect the app to my TV

yes yes yes!. love this idea so much and have had no issues with the controller, i agree with the other comments that multiplayer on one tv would be cool (or multiple tvs) but i get that it’s a work in progress. anyway super cool that y’all added it and i love that some of my favorite games got added to netflix so i can play them on my tv (i don’t have a console, so this is pretty fun)

Kept asking me to down load when I already have It!. At first it worked and I really enjoyed it but today I got bored so o decided to play a game BUT when I scanned it it brought me here to “ download “ but it said open. When I clicked open it did not connect.

Netflix games are the best. The n Netflix games are so good. I feel like they should put more games out there. The first one that I played was rocket. It was an adventure for me and I feel like more people should play it so if you’re reading my review I hope that you enjoy it - Maite

It’s ok I geuse. I can’t pair it it keeps trying to make me download it even tho I’ve already got the app for rid of it downloaded it again really frustrated but on the plus side I enjoy the games

It’s was okay. I love the game when I first tried but the second time something was stopping me from connecting. I reset my phone the tv and did everything I could think of but it won’t work.3 Stars.

Make it more mobile. I have a great time playing this app even my dad likes one of the games. But you can only play from your tv which is not good because that is the only way your are able to play some of the games. So I say you can still have the app but in it you can put it to the screen like before or make it like touch screen on the Xbox app. Where the game is on your screen and the buttons are on the side out of the way. So that is why it should be more mobile.

There’s such a simple solution.. Didn’t work, I even force closed it and it still didn’t work, so I tried reastarting my device and still didn’t work. Why can’t you Netflix, just make it Bluetooth, I had the same problems as everyone else

So this is actually pretty awesome,I like the game I’m playing called “OXENFREE”but today I tried to play and suddenly it says I have to ask the App Store for the app I already have,I also think the other games other then the fruit matching ones are a lil boring,I hope it’s just the App Store and not this that’s acting up with my controller

Something. I keep trying to connect my iPhone to the tv but when it pops up the options of open the app or close it, I always click open but it asks me for permission to open it in the AppStore and then I click open but it doesn’t work! Fix!!!!!!

Meh. The concept is great, but there’s lots of defects. The games were extremely laggy and there were times where it froze completely. You also can’t change the size of the thumb sticks so if you have big thumbs you can easily press the wrong buttons.

but......... when I try to play this one game, while in the game there's glitches and bugs happening, but the rest of the games are fun.

Glitching I guess??. So I was trying to play link twin today and the controller kept going to the screen with the white circle and the two “A” and “B” buttons every time I started a level, and I’d have to wait 10-90 seconds before it would glitch and turn into the controller I wanted (the + buttons and the 4 letter buttons) Overall I like the app, but please fix this because it got really annoying!

Please respond!!!. So when I first got this I was like ok this is really cool and I enjoyed it. So it was fine for the first day. But then I tried one of the games and it said it couldn’t connect. I know that means my internet was bad but it wasn’t. I tried all the other games to see if it was just that certain one but they all said that. I just shrugged it off and watched a regular show. It’s been like 2 weeks and every time I try to play a game that is what happens. Idk if I should delete and re download the app or if it has something to do with the tv or the phone or whatever but I’m really not sure what to do. But if it did work it would be an amazing game.

Add option to control iPad games. Having an option to play Netflix iPad games by using our iPhone as controller would be amazing. Hope you add this feature and it is released for everyone soon.

:|. Once I saw the app for this I went on my tv and was mesmerized by the idea. Know I understand it’s still a work in progress, but I couldn’t connect a second time. Still a very good idea, seems everyone is having the same problem to.

Fantastic. the controller was very responsive and simple to use I was very pleased. Perhaps a feature that could be added in the future is the ability to move where the buttons are on the screen.

Still super buggy. If you receive a text or anything during gameplay, the controller disconnects from the game and you can’t reconnect or exit or anything and basically have to restart Netflix on your TV.

I’m excited for the future of Netflix gaming.. It’s a beta but they did a great job with it. The controls were surprisingly responsive. I’m giving five stars for being a great companion app and a good controller. The game itself was too slow paced for me. I look forward to the next game(s).

Not opening. I really enjoy playing all the games and I believe it is a great concept but with the 1.4.8 update I believe the app will not allow me to play and it will say I need to have it downloaded even if I already do but overall ever game I have played is fun and once again great idea I’ve just been having trouble using the app to play the games on my tv.

Works well. Just decided to give the Netflix games a go, downloaded the controller from the QR code and away I went while the baby was sleeping. Not going to lie, was pretty stoked 👌🏼👌🏼

Hello 😀. I have a iPad to use because of a bad phone and I thought to give these games a try after a family member mentioning it. But when I tried it, it did not work 🙁 it sent me right back to where it was saying. It told me to scan the code on the tv and it kept bringing me to the App Store even when i downloaded it 😡 I tried my really old phone but it worked? I’m very confused 🤔 so please let me know when it’s fixed 😀

Plays super well. I really like the new addition of games to Netflix. My favourite games to play are reigns and link twin. Keep up the good work Netflix!

Not good. Can’t use the controller app. When I scan the QR code on my TV, it keeps taking me to the App Store on my phone even though I’ve already installed the controller app.

Decent. Decent “controller” on my iphone 15 . No lag in game and pretty accurate. Its unfortunate you cant use a regular controller tho like an xbox or razer etc. I think people need to understand that your phone IS YOUR CONTROLLER. Maybe after the beta is done, they will upgrade the availability of different controlers from your ps5,xbox or tv and have more “advanced” games

Hard to connect. I have to turn my phone on and switch my internet before I can connect and this is really annoying because I have to do this every time I want to play

Qr code. I scan the qrcode it brings me to the App Store and it’s loading for the eternity nothing happened.

Disconnects all the time. Controller app disconnects all the time to the game. I always lose progress and have to restart the level, which is super annoying.

App crashing. Whenever I try to open this stupid app it just crashes immediately I restarted my phone, didn’t work, deleted the app, didn’t work, deleted the app and left my phone completely shut off all night and then reinstalled it in the morning, you guessed it, DIDNT WORK!

Not clear on when this is coming out.. It does not state anywhere when the netflix games will be coming to our tvs. I can not find it yet and am not sure when this app will become available to use. Do i need to update my netflix for this feature to work?

Not working. Waisted time trying but would not work. Scanned the tv and downloaded app. Opened game scanned again and again and no luck. Hopefully this will work later. Like the idea

Would fly high with some more development. I LOVE the idea. It would DEFINITELY be a fun thing to play with friends and family; actually, it already is - I have tried it out recently, and needless to say, it was pretty cool. It is an amazing concept, and should not be undermined. However, I feel that some of the games need to be more interesting, more interactive. The storyline of some games were a bit boring, and had no grasp to them. Maybe Netflix can try adding games that are more trending and/or relatable. Also, the game graphics need to be improved, as it was constantly glitching and the video quality was not great at times. Other than all of that, I think that the simplicity is what makes this whole operation easy to access. Scanning the QR code then automatically connecting your device to your TV is absolutely genius. Not to mention the fact that the controller is also really easy to use. It is perfect for people of all ages, whether it is a 4-year-old practicing their hand eye coordination, to a 69 year old grandpa whose mobility skills aren’t the best but still wants to do something entertaining. Once again, this whole idea is great, and while it isn’t perfect, I think that with just a little more time and energy, Netflix can get this show on the road. I had a great experience, and I am looking forward to the further evolvement that this whole pitch goes through!

Worked once. Worked one time and I was able to play one game with 0 issues. Now it won’t connect …. My phone is new, tv is new and nothing has changed between the 2 times playing (5 min apart)

Netflix game. Gave the Netflix game a fair 15 minute play. Game was boring and the story flat lined. Deleted the remote - waste of time.

It works REALLY well. It works really well and it’s not glitchy or anything else I enjoyed using it because I had a tablet and yea it’s great I definitely recommend using it in Netflix.

The QR Code. i can’t even play the games when the QR code won’t even work, yeah it’s a nice concept but it would be cool if we can use our remote as well for a controller.
