Forgets Reminders. This app worked great when I first got it, but then it kept forgetting reminders. I would arrive at a store and the alarm would chime, but every reminder would be deleted. Then, it wouldn't keep a reminder. After deleting and reinstalling, it worked for about two months and then started deleting reminders again.

Loved this app until.... It deleted all of my reminders and locations. :(

Missing crucial features. While I love the idea of location-based (“Where”) reminders, this app is missing a fundamental feature and is extremely limited in another, related feature. First, when a location-based reminder fires, there is no way to “snooze” until the next time you are at that location (a “Later” or “Next Time” button). If I pass a store where I have a reminder but I don’t have time to stop now, the app whines and whines and whines and whines, even after I’m out of range of the store. The only way I can stop it is to mark the reminder as _DONE_!! Stupid. I also want the Later button to be big and easy so I can use it without too much thought or action. Add to that the exactly TWO choices of snooze time: a MINUTE or an HOUR. Really? Hint to developers: when thinking of snoozing, think non-linear progression: 1, 10, 30, 60 minutes; 3, 6, 12 hours, etc. A nitpick: If you set a date on a Where reminder, there is no obvious way to remove it. I don’t really care about the lists or time-based reminders, I get those elsewhere. If I missed something, then the fault is in their UX or docs, because I can’t find it. Without these features, I’m deleting it. Fix these issues and I’ll reconsider my review...

good, but.... I wish there was a way to set up a reminder time and not a "due time" reminder...I need to be reminded when to start things, not to end them. I would also like to be able to add a task from the "when" section to the "where" section and vice versa as well as be able to tag or categorize tasks with due times into lists or categories. For some reason for me, when I try to pin a location down in the map as well, it keeps snapping back to my current location continuously...kind of annoying. Otherwise, it's a solid app.

This is the one. I think I've tried almost every to-do app in the App Store. My needs are pretty simple: I want an easy-to-create task list app that allows me to edit or complete a task with minimal effort. I've been using Due, which was also recently updated and with which I have no complaints. But this app is just as minimal, nicer to look at, and has room for notes with each entry. I don't care about the location aspect since I don't stray too far from my daily path, but the simple to-do element is a beauty of design and simplicity. And the lists function is fantastic too, in all likelihood a Clear replacement for me. Very very pleased with this $3 app and pleased with Cult of Mac for writing it up!

Try this one…. Nice and simple, easy to use and pretty. Will not disappoint 😊

NO Problems. I personally have had no problems with this app as of yet. I also have turned on iCloud backup just in case. The only downside I can see right now is that it does not auto any task with your Calendar which other apps will do, but I can live with this, for Example Fantastical with do this… it will show not only your calendar events but your tasks… this app needs to have that integration with your iCalendar. Just in Case you for example need to pull iCal up online and you don’t have your phone with you, I do this often. It is very helpful.

Not recommended. The idea is great, the function is poor.

Unstable and needs list + location linking. The app would crash whenever I would open to check my badge. After the update I lost items on my lists and my scheduled reminders. The location feature works well but should allow you to link a list with a task so that it operates as advertised. I.E. You make a location reminder for the grocery store but you still have to check the list separately.

Stopped working with iOS 10. This is a very helpful app since it uses google maps and quite reliable around the world , apple maps doesn't, but since the last update it stopped alerting please fix soon.

Does not have needed features. I needed to have an alarm when I reach a defined location. This app will alarm a specified timer AFTER you've reached the location. It has no feature to detect when you are within a specified distance from a location. Further, you cannot specify a location by dropping a pin on the map: you have to be at the location to set it, or it has to be a Contacts address. LLIFTTT does all of the above and more. I ride a bus to work, and need to warned when the bus is about to arrive at my stop so I can put down my book and get off. LIFTTT does this, but not Checkmark 2.

Location reminders do not work as advertised. I've used Checkmark apps off and on for years - primarily for location-based reminders. I get that geofencing is a tricky thing, but I rarely ind this app to work for location-based reminders. Maybe it's because I'm in a city and stick within the same 4 mile radius most if the time, but I can be across town and get a reminder for something I needed to do at home. But when I travel home I won't get any sort of reminder at all. The app is beautiful and the other functions work great - but I wouldn't expect to depend on the location reminders.

A little frustrated. Could just be my phone but when I first got the app I was very excited I started putting in all my items and then the app crashed and then everything I put in was gone. So that was the first time which wasn't a big deal. Then I re did everything and everything was fine. However, just now when I did the update and went into the app everything that has been in the app was gone! Instead what was there was everything I first put into it when it first crashed. I'm a little annoyed and frustrated because I love the app but now I'm worried every time I update I might lose all my information!

Needs recurring location based reminders. This app is everything I need in location and time based reminders. The only thing it's lacking is no recurring location based reminders. Yes of course you can ignore the reminder but when I arrive and leave a certain location multiple times a day it can get annoying. Until a recurring location based reminder is implemented this app will continue to be 4 out of 5 stars in my opinion.

Beautiful & Functional. Wonderfully designed, simple UI. By far the best app I've found for creating location based reminders and managing lists. Powerful enough to help track projects at work and simple enough to use for grocery lists. Absolutely love it!

Silly. No way to limit location alarms to AM or PM for your morning and evening subway commute. iGeoAlarm discovered only after I bought this dumbed down app.

2 problems right off the bat. In the original Checkmark I can: 1. Set the "where" alarm radius for as small as 25 meters 2. Relocate the pin when creating a location. I can't do either of those in Checkmark 2. They were important features to me, and I feel as if I've paid $3 to lose functionality for the sake of a prettier app.

Was Great until it deleted all of my lists. I had been happily using this app for months until today and I opened it to check off an item and all of my lists and appointments were gone.

It's the plussed version of the built-in Reminders. Checkmark is great. The location and time tools work great. Having places and being able to notify a little after you arrive is indispensable. The only things I would like to see are a way to see all reminders and lists in one view and some sort of Mac integration. I liked being able to put in a new reminder on my Mac and have it show up in Reminders on my iPhone. Maybe if Checkmark could read from a Reminders list to pull in new things with at least what features are the same across both apps that'd be great.

Great but ruins audio.... This app is exactly what I needed. But it has a glitch that when you are listening to music and a reminder comes on, it lowers the audio of iTunes, but it doesn't raise it back up again! Without noticing you will turn up your headphones again, then when you get a call it will be super loud because you adjusted your audio level. It's so close to being an amazing app, but has this fatal flaw....

Nice update. I like the new update, but the recurring functionality is missing some options... Namely, there is no way to set a yearly reminder nor to specify an reminder interval. If I could set yearly reminders or set a reminder to for every x number of days (or weeks or months or years) that would make this 5-star worthy.

Prefer clear. The app had plenty of promise however it didn't do enough to get me off Clear. There are no advanced gestures that I can use, I have to do too many touches to simply navigate around. The menu animation is off-putting and heavy, and I wonder why it even exists to be honest. All in all the app didn't work to the level I expected, the features are there in abundance but the execution doesn't cut it. Takes too long to do basic tasks.

Good App But Tough to Leave Reminders. This is a great app that gets better. Where it doesn't have reminders flexibility it does make up for it with power. It would be nice to reorder locations. That's my one (current) gripe. All others were fixed in ios8!

Best To-Do App on the App Store. Easy to input new tasks, excels at organizing tasks based on location, projects, or time, and has a beautiful and functional design that beats out all the other to-do apps. Most to-do apps "do" the same thing, but what's amazing is that this app does it better. Way better 👍

Best Personal Planner/Reminder App I've Used!. Just a few things missing! The interface is beautiful and super easy to navigate, I love how it allows you to move tasks, edit lists, and change things with ease. Of course it's not perfect but I honestly can't think of a better app. My only request is to be able to set date/time reminders for the tasks placed under "lists", not just the ones you create under When & Where

Pretty good, needs improvements. I like this app, but a few things need to be added. 1. Recurring Location based reminders 2. iPad compatibility, I would expect a paid app to function in both iPhone and iPad 3. Smaller range for location based reminders, 100 meters seems a little large 4. An urgency rating that shows whisk things are more important 5. Recording tasks showing up in "done." If a recurring task is done, I want it to show that I completed it that day, then clear it when the day ends 6. Location based reminders that only go into affect during a certain time frame. Ex: remind me to clean house when I get home between 3 and 6 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week. 7. Maybe an additional color theme (optional). This certainly isn't something that would determine whether or not I buy an app, but I still think it would be nice to have. Other than that, great. It seems like I brought up a lot if things, but the app is very functional, and I wouldn't have realized those things were missing if the app hadn't already had some of the features it has. I love the app, but it could use an update. STILL WORTH BUYING

Great App. This handy app is even better since the update. I love the new feature that allows grouping. I can put in multiple locations of a chain store and be reminded to pick up what I need when I'm near any of the locations I've listed. Sweet!!! This is going to make holiday shopping so much easier!

DO NOT BUY. Abandoned. Hasn't been updated since 2014. Apple's own Reminders app now does what this did.

No updates for 3 years?. It would be nice for a paid app to be updated more than once in a 3 year period. Had an iPhone X for 8 months without a hint of a compatibility update.

Lost All My Data. Upgraded to a new iphone using icloud backup from 2 hrs earlier. This app did NOT save my data. All Checkmark data got wiped on my new iphone! Poor design by apparent amateur developers. ALL my other apps and data came through just fine. Go figure.

Buggy and inconsistent. Entries disappear from notification center and the app badge keeps changing. Very inconsistent and unreliable with iOS integration. But once you are inside the app, the organization and user interface are great. Needs work.

Smart geofence. Reliable recurring reminders. Bought this years ago and one of my longest apps in use. Ability to make sets of geofences and then trigger them as one is so fundamental. Apples own reminder geofence doesn’t work. This one has been on the mark every time. Wish there were a way to trigger in sequence (eg when driving) for app to know which way I am moving. Use it for reminding me of waypoints when crossing certain bridges and other driving routes. Also use it for recurring reminders like pay this bill on 23rd of month and then can snooze as many days until I do, and it’s automatically reloaded to remind me next month.

Disappointed in new version. I loved the previous version of Checkmark, so when I saw the new one come out I was excited to see the new features. However I have had nothing but trouble with the app crashing. I also cannot rearrange the locations as advertised (plus the screen seems to get stuck in move mode). Overall I'm disappointed in this new version and will likely just go back to using the previous version.

Great App and Support. I live off of Checkmark so I had to get Checkmark 2. Love the location based reminders and that you only need to set the location once. Checkmark 2 was enticing because it incorporated the list function. I reached out to support to ask a question and Ryan got right back to me. Nice job.

Better reminders. This app has features that we all wish we're available in the default app. The tweaks and improvements have made it so that you can now do more with creating reminders than previous versions. Being able to set reminders based on where - not just when - makes it vastly more powerful than similar apps. Being able to postpone a reminder by set periods of time increases the flexibility and gracefulness of use that makes it a primary app for daily use.

Nice App. Really like the look of this app and it has great features overall. Would love to be able to add time based reminders under list items and would be a 5 star app for me.

Can't keep it together. I love this app. But I'm deleting it because when you update the iPhone software you loose ALL reminders. If your reminders are important, this is bad. It happened 2 times in a row... so ..... So sorry. Will miss you.

Great app, just needs some tweaks. This app is a great improvement over the first one. There are a few things that, if fixed, will make it even better. 1. Have a setting to change the default view from when to where or lists. 2. Allow for location areas to be smaller than 100 meters. I can leave home and shop the next street over without triggering leaving the location. 3. Why are there no recurring reminders for locations? 4. This would just be a nice to have: sync with Apple reminders app for simple tasks. This might get complicated though.

Not recommended. Update 2019: do not buy this app. I don’t think the developer updates it any more, and it is riddled with so many bugs and problems it is essentially useless. This app is very pretty. That's really why I bought it, since Reminders is sufficient for my needs, but ugly. Well, it turns out I swapped looks for function, and it was definitely not worth the $. First, a lot of people love the location based reminders, but I cannot use them at all. All of my "where's" keep occasionally activating when I'm just sitting at home. Maybe just a bug which will get fixed? Maybe. Next, and most important to me, Checkmark 2 cannot do two simple things that reminders can: you can't check off a recurring task until after it is due (no getting your tasks done early!), and you cannot add a task without entering an exact time. Sometimes I want to see a task on my "When" list but don't yet know the exact time I want to schedule it for, so that's a bummer. I regret the purchase so far. Reminders is better. I hope to see improvements because I do like the way this app looks. Update: I am now able to check off tasks which I complete early. Hooray! Maybe further improvements are on the way too?

Great app for all reminders!. Especially for location based reminders. I use it to remind myself to buy small parts from the hardware store that aren't worth making a special trip for. I always remember to buy that spare lightbulb or extra hardware.

Inferior to previous version. The previous version was great. The rebuilt, iOS 9 optimized version is terrible. The location-based reminders never work. My phone will stay in the same spot but I'll continue to get location-based reminders as if I'm just getting to the location. It's so maddening, I've uninstalled this version and kept the old version.

Great update. This was a fantastic app before the update. And now it's much better, especially now that it has the tapable actions in the notes section. Saves a lot of time. The only thing that's missing for me is a unified list of all my reminders.

Well done app. I'm not reviewing 5 star because: a) a $3 app should work better for locations which was my main reason for buying it... (It reminded me outside of the Lincoln tunnel NJ leaving NYC about something that should've reminded me while leaving work [union square NYC area]) b) there's no place to my knowledge where you can see ALL reminders in one screen.

Almost perfect. Finally an app with location, recurring and list based reminders/to-do. The downside. These things are still separate. I would like to have a list of items recurring based on location. This is still not possible. This is a good app, it's just missing this feature I would really like to see. The recurring tasks don't clearly show you which ones are due. When marked as done they still stay in place. Location alerts have gone off when arriving at a location in the same small town, but not at the correct location. This is a problem I had with the original Checkmark. The app can have a badge number for tasks that are due, but upon launching the app nothing directs you to where those tasks are. I'll add more notes as I use the app, but it appears my initial excitement for a new version of Checkmark blinded me of the issues. I would find it very hard to recommend this app once it hits full price.

Best app for location-based reminders. Great for setting several places in one general categories (i.e. several different groceries stores you might frequent into one list called 'Groceries'), and then once you add items to that list, anytime you visit ANY of those locations, the list pops up to remind you what you need. Brilliantly done (much better than Apple's built-in Reminders app) and well worth the couple dollars it costs. Latest update added URL-scheme support as well, which is a huge plus.

Finally,All-In-One To Do!. The ability to simply have to-do lists alongside grouped reminders is amazing. Being able to set up location groups in that I can be reminded of my grocery lists no matter what store in the list I get to is incredibly intuitive. I love the simple notifications sounds and beautiful UI. This is so easy to use. I have noticed a minor crash when I switch back into the from elsewhere, but it's so minimal it doesn't bother me enough. I'm excited for future updates. A suggestion would to be able to switch a list item from one list to the next without having to re-type it under the new list and delete the old one. Love it, keep up the hard work, every dollar spent on this was worth it!

Works, but crucial limitations. It is good for quick entry, but a couple of things are missing when compared to similar reminder apps: - iOS reminders integration - unified list It is especially frustrating that I can't see (nor move) tasks between my "lists" group and the "where" or "when" groups. That is, I can't add a time or location to any tasks categorized into project lists! Many other apps do this and more (Gneo, priorities, Gotasks)

needs some work. snooze options are 1 minute or 1 hour. really? let’s get realistic folks! should offer 1 min, 5 min, 10 min, 15 min. also, snooze should only change the current alarm, not every future alarm for recurring reminders!

Great app - crashes often. I love this app. I constantly create different lists of things I want to remember, cook, buy at the store, etc. My biggest complaint is the app crashes each and every time I switch apps. As soon as I switch apps then re-open Checkmark, it crashes. It would be nice to see this bug fixed.

Improving - not there yet. Cannot combine location and time based reminders on a time-recurring basis.

Useless. Useless app. Re-occurring reminders would only show once in your notifications and in the app. Missed re-occurring reminders doesn't go to overdue. If you pass it, it assumed you have done it.

Backwards. No snooze and it crashes when importing from contacts. I'm going back to version 1

alerts no longer work. Checkmark 1 worked very well… but while version 2 adds features, the alerts no longer work at all - except the icon badge. In version 1, when you added an item to a location, and then reached that location, an alert would appear on the screen and an alarm would sound. Now, all you get is an icon badge. I wouldn’t recommend buying it till they fix that - since alerts is the whole purpose of this app, for them not to work is a fairly major flaw!

Beautiful and Functional!. This is by far the best to-do/list app around! Powerful and easy features matched with a stunningly simple interface... Love it!

Recurring items don't work. A waste of money.. Recurring items don't work, in that they reset themselves as done as soon as they become due. I've written to the author and they don't seem to see the problem in this, but it makes it pretty much useless for me. A waste of money.

Doesn't work. Added June 2014 I can see an alarm notification but when I open the app there's nothing --------- Over-priced I'm not sure why this app is so expensive (relatively speaking). No iPad version, no Mac version, and although the GUI is nice, it doesn't seem to offer functionality to justify the price. :-/

Worst then calander. Can't even set reminder alerts aka meeting at 10am won't notify you hour before or day before... Can only reschedule which is useless if I miss something important

Very impressive. I kind of love this app. The UI is beautiful - very iOS 7 but with some neat custom touches. So far I've found the app intuitive and pleasant to use. Very nicely done.

Stick with Checkmark V1. Extra layers of menus make it slower to use. Does not open to last screen used so if you like locations as the start you can't. New color scheme is hard to read.

Amazing. This app has many great features but I love the fact that lists can have a location associates with it and not just a single task. I also like that a ego location can be set to trigger after a certain amount of time you arrive or depart from a location. Perfect app!

It's ok... Been getting a lot of false notification, after clearing a task it doesn't always remove the notification making it look like there are still outstanding items and I would really like it if 'tasks' and 'recurring tasks' showed up in the same list. Very helpful when it's working properly.

Awesome followup to a great original!. As a longtime fan of the original, I didn't hesitate to jump on version 2. I had a couple of concerns - contacted the developers and got fast and friendly responses within hours. These guys have earned my support!

It's confusing. The app is confusing and I don't like that there are time and date reminders and location reminders!

Don't purchase. Keeps crashing. I just purchased this and it keeps crashing every time I try to add a location. Don't waste your money!

Good idea BUT SYNC is not good at all.... It’s a great app… BUT the sync with other app is not great… it’s not an instant sync…

Really, it's a great application! I am giving you a 9.9/10 because I hope you can make it better and better in every upcoming update; closer and closer to perfection.

Unreliable. Deleted within a day all reminders even with iCloud backup. Can't trust this app. Looks good but lacks reliability.

Has potential. Nice design/layout but crashes constantly. Templated lists to re-use would make this a valuable app. Unfortunately deleting and wasted $ but might re-visit.

Wow!. Coming from UX background makes me very picky with the applications I use but this one is just simply wow! You guys are right on the spot with what your user wants and the usability of this app is simply amazing! Highly recommended to anyone who needs "to-do" lists! My next feature suggestion would be: assign someone a task and send via email, text and better yet under checkmark 2! ;)

Really good app (needs more updates). Love and use this app daily but it hasn’t been updated in a long time so it doesn’t fit the most recent iPhone/tablet screens, not that it’s a problem it would just be nice. I would like to see the feature of being able to categorize the importance of each task, with the same field of view to all tasks but also file them together in separate colours and or due dates. Also if it could connect with calendar that would be sweet!

Newbie. I'm new to Checkmark 2 so I have no idea what 1 was like. It is quite a nice app, easy to use, nice interface etc. I only have 2 gripes, one minor and the other a bit more serious. 1. The minor one is that you can't set a recurring item such as: 1st Monday of each month. 2. The more serious one is that with the volume on my phone on full, the reminders are not easy to hear when the phone is in my pocket (which is pretty much where it lives).

Fabulous. This is such a fabulous app!! It has been extremely reliable and beautifully designed for those constantly on the go. I love its quick scheduling methods and its list maker. They are able to quickly record all the important info I need to recall to get through the day and I am very grateful.

Plz fix major workflow bug. I depend on this app for scheduling work reminders. This is about the Lists feature. I have sublists and when I update them about 40% of the time the content appears erased and/or the app crashes. Plz fix.

Lacks purpose. This app lacks purpose and doesn't provide any features that iPhone already has built in. Waste of $$$.

Great Location Reminders. This is the best app I've used for location based reminders.

Great Location-Based and Overall Reminders. The location-based reminders are spot-on, and the new features in v2 are welcome. Wish the default view could be changed, since I mainly use the "Where" section, but I won't hold stars at ransom!

PLEASE FIX!. I've been using this app for three days and have spent quite a bit of time using it. I see a lot of potential in this app but it just keeps letting me down. After I write in the schedule, it all disappears after a while. I am soo frustrated because I know that this can be an amazing app but only if it fixes this problem. If you guys fix, i will tell everyone i know about this app.

Great updates!. LOVE all the improvements to Checkmark 2, especially the Tips and Gestures and shortcuts. Its easy to navigate and key to a busy life. The new colour scheme is super fresh an fun!

The best just got “bester". Loved Checkmark 1 and love all the new features coming to Checkmark 2. It’s now becoming my defacto list application, replacing Due (which had a spot on my home screen for many years). My only complaint would be that it needs to nag me a *bit* more when a reminder pops up. So far I’ve found it’s a little too easy for it to get lost in the shuffle of things, and a recurring “nag” until you mark as complete would go a long way to help that. But overall it’s a truly great app that looks absolutely fantastic.

Not that good!. The concept is great, but the implementation is not. Too many false notifications! I'm thinking of deleting it. In comparison to previous version: Better: *) interface is pretty *) location group Worse: The minimum location diameter was increased from 25 to 100 meters, which makes the app kind of useless. Too many false alarms! You want to get the alarm once you get in the store but not when you are blocks away from it. For example, the store is a bit close to your route to work, you would get notifications when you just pass by. 👎

BEST reminder app. Hands down the BEST reminder app in the App Store. Implemented the way Apple should have made location and time based reminders! A must for organizing ones tasks.

Looks Great, but. Like a lot of things about this but a couple of improvements would make it much better. - ability to attach a location to a list. Such as Groceries. Can add reminders to a location but there appears to be no link between lists and locations which is strange. - Show completed list items within their list either with toggle or moving them to the bottom. That way to use the grocery example again you can reinstate items when you need them again. The current setup where completed items for all lists appear under a completed tab isn't helpful.

Doesn't tie into default Reminders app. Impossible keep reminders in sync between iPhone, iPad and OS X since it doesn't tie into default Reminders app. Already deleted it, unfortunately.

Just OK. Disappointed that the nice circular icons are only available in location based reminders. This app is a HUGE battery drain, and very inaccurate with its location reminders, I was all the way across town at work (which was an address in a separate category and it notified me because it thought I was at home (plus I had been at work for hours before it popped up thinking I was at home, what the?)

Missing function. It's a nice app but I'm looking for something that will remind me at a specific time only at a specific location. (Ex : on mondays at 2h00 PM only if I'm at work).

Best location reminders. Checklist 2 is a beautiful and well thought app that has the best location-triggered reminders around. I just wish that "list" reminders could be scheduled or location enabled.

Great for keeping me on task!. Where would I be without Checkmark? I'd have a lot of loose ends left untied, I'll tell you that much. I use the location-based reminders almost daily, Checkmark keeps me more productive than I ever thought I could be!

Location reminder does not work. I just downloaded the app yesterday, and I have tried three different times to get the location reminder to work and it has failed to do so each time. I will keep it on my phone and hope they correct the problem, otherwise it's just a pile of crap and a waste of three dollars.

Perfect UI. Don't usually review apps but this one deserves it. I'm a todo list nerd and have tried nearly all of them. This one is the total package.

Awesome!! but.... Loved the original, upgraded and I love the new version too!! But, I still need both arrival AND departure criteria to be saved within the same alert, for when I either arrive or depart a location.

Lost all my data. Used it for about 3 months. I had myself totally organized within about 20 different lists. Suddenly one day the app would only open and then instantly close. I've attempted everything I can to retrieve my data. It's gone. Incredibly irritating. Also when I first started using it, the app would drain my battery dramatically. After shutting off the location aware feature in the app, the battery issue was resolved.

Great app. Super simple - gets out of the way and lets you get stuff done.

Nonexistent Support. Well I am happy for those that can actually get this application to work but that is not my case. To be fair it worked the first time I installed it but after removing it for a period then reinstalling it now I get crashes on startup. I emailed support on 07 October 2014 and have yet to hear back from them. So if you buy this application just hope that it works for you out of the box because if it does not you will receive no help from the developer.

No better than original - so why buy?. I love the concept and the simple execution with a few exceptions. The new app maintains this without adding any functions that are worth paying additional for - but the company received revenue. The feature missing that I find insulting is there is no way to import from the previous app.

Great way to stay organized. Not only does the app function better than the default reminders app, but it does it flawlessly. It's a great way to remind yourself to get stuff done and have a list of what needs to be done all in one.

Doesn't do much more than Reminders. I was excited to try this after hearing praise for it. It does a bit more than Reminders but not much and at the cost of not being cross-device it's not worth using.

Better than the first but.... Better in many ways but does not import from previous version. Can't fully migrate as all my saved locations, to do's, and completed items will be lost.

Best standalone task app!. Don't want to pay yearly RTM? This works as a great replacement. Wonderful, simple, straightforward task app. Only want to features added: (1) Clear re-occurring tasks, just like all other tasks and (2) give some sort of web access!

Nice. I thought the new features were worth the price. Still do, but it doesn't seem to be dragging and dropping for me. This feature is crucial for the new group setting and is causing me much consternation.

Nice idea but no audible alerts ??. I get notifications but no audible alerts on my iPhone 5 with IOS 7.1. Since I keep my phone in my pocket no audible alerts makes it kind of useless.

I wasted my money on another failed “reQall" substitute. This app doesn't come any closer to providing any sort of replacement for my sorely missed shopping-list app, "ReQall", than does any other to-do-list or shopping-list app that I have been able to find in Apple's App Store.

Only thing that works. I have chronic short-term memory issues (seriously) and this is essential for my daily living. Thank you. AMENDMENT: more/custom recurring options would be nice.

Checkmark 2. Best task management option for iOS. Simple yet feature rich give it the spot on my dock. Highly recommended.

Much better than reminders. So simple and perfect. I'm very picky and I've never been able to find my perfect to do app but I think this is it!

Two more features and it would be perfect. 1. If the reminder is missed or ignored, have it repeat, e.g. each minute until it is snoozed or completed. 2. URL scheme support.

Great app except not useful badges!. The reminder comes up, the badge goes on the icon... but there's no way in the app to see which reminders the badge is asking me to clear, so I find myself hunting! Otherwise this app delivers on all fronts.

Great App, Great Promise. Overall, this is a fantastic, useful, and well-designed application. After a few routine updates and bugfixes, it'll be unbeatable. A pleasure to use.

Still the best.. I wrote a poor review last year when the app failed after an update but it eventually righted itself. It's still the best to do app on the market. Delayed arrival/departure reminders is genius! When will we see an iPhones 6 update? Better yet when do we see checkmark 3?!

Wanted to love it. 1. I love the design, but the weighted animations are distracting and keep me from moving quickly. 2. It crashes constantly, double counts tasks, and throws alert box after alert box at me. I'm not requesting a refund, because I believe these guys are going to work hard to fix it, but I am going back to Clear for now.

Almost there.. I switched over from Due. I would love if the lists could be attached to a location. It would be great to have the grocery list pop up when I get to the grocery store.

It's OK. Need to be able to see all lists in one view. For custom recurring tasks there should be months included, not just days. Until these features are added I'm sticking with Due.

Use it Daily. Works great for the "when I get there I need to…” reminders. Faster than Apple Reminders and with variable radius and delayed timing it’s far more effective. Newest update shows continual refinement. Could be your only todo app, or augment a more complex system with perfect location awareness.

Ouch. That was a quick waste of $6. The longest interval for recurring reminders is one month, I need quarterly and annual. I also didn't like that you can only use the apps built-in sounds for alerts, not the iOS sounds or any you've downloaded yourself. Looks pretty nice otherwise.

I wish all apps were this good. Checkmark 2 is a solid performer, very attractive, and very reliable. I wish all the apps on my phone worked as we'll and looked as good.

Great when it works. Great features. Does a good job nagging me to perform tasks, as designed. However, it now opens to a black screen and a reminder that won't go away, no matter how many times I checkmark it. Developer hasn't responded to 2 requests in over 2 weeks. Worthless to me. I'll probably try Due instead.

Needs an option to not have a time for reminders.. Great software. Would love the option to have a plain reminder. Means I don't need to put a time for it. Thanks!

Perfect. The first version of Checkmark was good. This one is great. Location Groups alone are worth the price of admission, but there's so much more than that. The UI is lovely, the utility is great. Money well spent.

Why don't reminder app makers get it?. Why does the badge clear when I open the app for reoccurring items? I didn't checkmark the item as finished. Why does the badge clear and it automatically mark as completed by just opening the app?!?!?!? This makes the app unusable

Great app! need to improve Recurring?. Recurring? need more custom options. such as every 6 months... and it would be great if you can add a color options to highlight the important tasks

Lost My Tasks. I used this app for a few weeks and loved it, but I have two major issues with it, the second of which necessitates a 1-star rating: • If you have a date based task, you can't set reminders to remind you about it ahead of time. • It randomly deleted all of my task data after about a week or two of using it. Unfortunately, this is a show stopping bug and I can't trust this app anymore.

When it works, it's great.... However, I created reminders for locations ranging from 2-50 miles from my home, and I was notified of *all* of them when I arrived home, none when I was at the specified location. Hoping it improves of at least the level of the first version soon.

Great update. Really like the addition of lists and timed/reoccurring tasks. Need a central location to see all overdue tasks, timed and reoccurring. Or either add reoccurring to the when tab when they become due. Otherwise great app.

Beautiful design, needs bug fixes. This is one of the nicest apps to look at and admire. It is simple and does what it advertises. The only problem is with recurring reminders. They are not handled well and the app would be much better if fixed.

Great update. I love the location group feature - it's going to save me a lot of time with location reminders. The only feature I'm wishing for is the ability to set a reminder to keep going off until I turn it off. If that can be implemented, then goodbye Due.

Love the app. I was a user of Checkmark before. Love the new features they put in place for Checkmark 2. Highly recommended.

Please Add Reoccurring List Items. I need to be able to make a list with items that needs to be completed on a reoccurring basis - daily, every Tuesday, etc. without being forced to give them all a time and date. Just a reoccurring list of things to do. Please add!

So far so good.. Replacement for priorities? I may have found it. 3/19 - Being able to check off recurring reminders vice automatically moving forward would be great. Overall pretty good.

Used to be great. I used to love this app and lived by it. It was wonderful with the recurring reminders. But then the update was released and now my recurring reminders don't work and have not have reminded me of anything! I have reached out to the developers via Facebook and email but have not received a response yet. Very disappointed in their customer service!

Mostly good. Good app. However, notifications recently stopped working making the app useless. Tried rebooting phone and reinstalling app. No luck, plus I ended up with multiple duplicates of tasks after the iCloud sync. Perhaps this is the fault of iOS 8, but I expect that a $9.99 app will be up to date with the latest iOS.

A great app. I love this app and moved here from any do. One clutch feature is the location based reminders that you can set to go off after a certain amount of time after arriving to your location. Other apps notified too quickly for action to be taken at that moment. Would love to see the following: Notification badges for each icon showing the number of task to complete Connect to a person's contact info when their name is entered like in Any. do for texting or calling based task An all task view for the list section of the app.

Nice update. Good iOS update. Works great for me. I wish the "Notes" portion where you enter your task was larger. Even though you can scroll it's cramped. The window needs to be bigger. Small complaint for really good app.

Great but needs More. It would be nice if when I do a search for groceries stores and I get a list, if I could add all the listing with one click. It is kind of tedious going in and selecting each store individually.
