More Confused Than Relaxed. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot of this game as I tend to lose interest in puzzle games pretty quickly. The graphics are beautiful and the music isn’t distracting. The gameplay? Annoying. Other than showing you how to move the cards and build houses and get hints, there are no instructions for this game. Want to know what this card does without clicking it? Too bad. Want to know what this random asset is? Click on it and figure out how you messed yourself up. Want to get further help? LOL - silly, that’s not what the help button is for! It just explains the mechanics of the cards. Also, the “story” makes no sense! I get that it’s a slice of life/trip down memory lane kind of deal, but I have no idea what I’m looking at in the cutscenes. Who’s eyes are those? Why are they different colors? Is the main character aware of the eyes and therefore interact with them? Your guess is as good as mine because that’s not explained - ever. The whole thing feels pointless.

Well Made Game.. It’s peaceful and has an unique take. I haven’t played a game like this one before. The scenes are beautiful; the music and game are very enjoyable. I would not say that the premise or anything about the game is frustrating. If you’re looking for a fast-paced, get-to-the-point game, I’m afraid this isn’t the one for you. The adolescent scenes are enjoyable and calming. I enjoy the reminiscent feel. I don’t think this is a game for everyone, but the controls are simple and easy to follow. The ones who commented that it was “frustrating” or “confusing” simply haven’t played a lot of games. A layman can understand it. You’ll know right away after the first two levels if it’s a game that you’ll enjoy.

Interesting Puzzler But Plagued with Broken Saves. I like the simplicity of this puzzler of trying to guide the character to the final destination in each level. It has a feel similar to The Gardens Between, where it tells a coming of age story with minimalism and symbolism in its surroundings and short cutscenes. For QoL, the game could’ve benefitted with an undo button as the later stages if you happen to mess up or accidentally move the character off their position then you have to re-setup everything again which gets tiresome especially how slow the character moves. I haven’t fully grasped the story yet as it’s very subtle with its storytelling as you interpret what is happening since there’s no dialog, I was curious to see where it goes but... My major factor to my score was that there is a major save bug with this game which I’ve lost my progress twice already after I was more than halfway completed. Not sure why it did as my local storage and iCloud has plenty of space available. But after the 2nd time, it’s not worth my time to redo it all over again a 3rd as the game isn’t compelling enough for me to repeat after this issue. Recommend to wait till this bug is fixed before playing this game.

Unique and foggy. Just finished. Worthwhile level of challenge. Beautiful artwork. Peaceful and engaging. Definitely worthy of high marks if you like challenging but not excruciating puzzle games. Opportunities for improvement. 1. Agree the cut aways are not everyone’s cup of tea, but I liked them. Eventually, you enjoy the creative artwork and get the unique storyline, albeit melancholy. However, I was a little ticked off with the ending being less than anti-climactic. For all of that effort, something a little bit more celebratory in both a graphic and storyline perspective would have been just rewards. Sadly, without more punch in the end felt cheated of my time. If it not for the artful puzzles, I would have given it a lower rating for that reason alone. 2.Please give the user the option of opening and closing the deck of cards with different movements or clicks. Having to pinch Open and close was extremely cumbersome. Most importantly, if you made an error, it could send your character to places you didn’t want to go and completely mess up all of your hard work on that level. I almost stopped playing because of it.

I really like this game. It’s calming and interesting. And really fun and beautiful. I wish it worked on the Apple TV. The remote doesn’t really respond at all. But playing in the phone is nice. :)

Nice Story Puzzler. March 2024 Gameplay Review Where The Cards Fall is a challenging puzzle game with a touching story about life getting in the way. There was only one glitch I noticed: When opening up the game, it sometimes sends you back to the start and won’t show previous progress. Force quitting and toggling between wifi and cellular seems to do the trick. I can honestly recommend this game to any story puzzler fans out there.

Great, challenging puzzles…But…. 3.5 Stars as is. It’s a fun puzzle game and a very unique concept. I’d give it 4 stars if it weren’t for the weird, long cut scenes. At least give players the option to hit a skip button or something. Either that or work the back story into the game play. The scenes are really bizarre!

Wow ngl.. I got this game bc i got the apple arcade membership for free for 1 month and wow i’m so surprised how fun this game is! It’s a puzzle type game and it’s so great for your brain but also-just beautiful art work in general. Left me breathless how amazing the art was and the graphic etc. the story is a bit confusing but i just started playing yesterday but wow great game!:)

Loved the game on first play through, but seems to be buggy now.. I played this all the way through when it was new. I decided to play it again on iOS 15.3, and now I can’t get through more than 15 or 20 levels without the game resetting my progress. I’d love to be able to play it again and bump it up to 5 stars if this gets fixed.

Enjoyable Puzzler. Love the actual puzzles. Not too easy and not too hard. With a few here and there that actually stumped me for a bit. Great artwork. Personally I could do without the storyline cutscenes. It really slows down the actual gameplay. Game mechanics could use some fine tuning. It would be nice to be able to zoom in or out. It’s really frustrating not being able to see the entire playing field on some levels without moving the screen around. The game seems almost too eager to react when I’m adjusting the size of cards. I barley move my fingers and it rapidly expands or shrinks between sizes. Or I touch part of the screen intending to move my view to that area, but the game interprets my touch as me wanting to move my character, which in some frustrating instances can cause me to have to redo many moves.

Interesting puzzles but annoying “story”. The puzzles are interesting but repetitive. The whole house of cards of different sizes thing is unique but once you figure out a couple of solutions all the rest are just slight variations. The worst part is I finish a level and it’s not a sense of satisfaction but rather dread, that I have to sit through another cutscene. These are usually vague, sometimes long, always unskippable (and that’s the most egregious offense). This whole “coming of age” story thing makes no sense and isn’t even a story because there’s no dialog or anything to give the viewer any “buy in”, it’s just this confusing interruption in the game play. That said the puzzles are what keeps me playing but never for more than a level or two because of the cut scenes.

Just boring. Maaan - so this was one of the original Apple Arcade titles that got me excited about the service at launch. It’s taken over a year to finally give it a whirl, so imagine my disappointment in coming to terms with just how dreadfully boring this game actually is. On paper, this game should be a slam dunk - clever and beautiful art direction, chill tone with a touch of somber, and puzzles that are juuuust a little smarter than I am. So why is it just not fun to play? I don’t actually have the answer, but the game is a slog to work through.

Enjoy the premise but a little frustrated. I really like this game, it’s relaxing and the quality of the graphics is awesome. My only qualm is that the game is inconsistent with where I leave off every time I exit and re-enter the game. I have progressed a bit but I’m taking the game little bits at a time and there have been instances where the game opens up and I’m WAAAAY behind in levels that I have passed a few days ago with no way to get back to where I was. And then other times it plops me right back into where I was. I just don’t love playing roulette every time I open the app. iCloud box is checked and it logs into my Apple account when the app opens so I’m really not sure how this keeps happening. Bummed out and hope this is fixable.

Warning: flashing lights. This game is lovely, with a calming atmosphere and clever puzzles. Unfortunately, many of the cutscenes and some of the levels have random flashing/strobe lights that can trigger migraines or seizures for people like me. It’s always disappointing when I encounter an enjoyable game that could easily be accessible but is not due to superfluous strobe effects.

It’s wonderful but it might not be in the right category. I think I was just misled because this was in the games category. I think there is a certain expected amount of flexibility, autonomy, interactiveness, room to explore, or clarity (in terms of what the goal is) for games, but like many other reviewers say, this app lacks that in terms of game standards (in terms of what’s available in the current market). I think that’s mostly why people (me as well at first) got frustrated. However, the graphics are amazing. You can see that each scene is delicately made and the many sound effects and music that go with them are great. Also it’s really beautiful how the cards turn when you’re pressing on them and they glide so gracefully. It’s such a great idea and initiative. I would love to see more and help the developer make additions to the game if they want that. All in all, I think it would have made more sense to me if this was called an “interactive display” or like an “interactive exhibition series”. There is so much to be appreciated in terms of the beauty and flawlessness of what is presented, but the “game” side of it just doesn’t match the level of beauty or intricacy of the design. Still enjoyed it a lot. I just wished I could do more with it!

Sound options. I enjoy the serene nature of this game and its unique mechanics, the ONE gripe I had with it is that it forces other audio apps (music/podcasts) to mute. I rarely write reviews and this a thing that actually prompted me to comment in it as I really really do not like it

Progress doesn’t save; good puzzles. I’ve been playing for about a week and each time I open the app after a day or so, my progress isn’t fully saved and I have to repeat at least 3 levels. I won’t play again for a while. The puzzles were fun though.

Solid idea!. The game is great! Puzzles are cool and art is beautiful! I don’t know if maybe I’m not far enough yet but, I’m a little confused about the story? It doesn’t seem to be going anywhere...I’ll come back and update this when I finish, but, right now, quite a few puzzles in, nothing seems to be happening with the plot here...is there one?

Enjoyable game, frustrating interface. fun puzzles set up in an interesting way but the interface can be so frustrating sometimes. One level I had to restart 4 times because I kept accidentally lightly tapping one point of the screen and then the avatar goes where the very light tap is and I have to start all over.

The trouble…. The trouble with the cut scenes are they make no sense. If there’s a story trying to be told, it’s not understandable. And there are so many cut scenes (between almost every puzzle) so it’s rather tedious. As a puzzle game, it’s fun, somewhat challenging, and well-implemented. It does get kind of monotonous after a while as it’s basically the same thing over and over.

Not a perfect game, but it is exquisitely realized. The game mechanic here is original and quite satisfying to interact with. I can't imagine how this works on a PC as the touch interface seems ideally suited for how it's presented. At first I thought the game was going to be rather short, but then the scenes kept coming and new intricacies are introduced at a reasonably modest pace. I wish I could say I was getting a lot out of the story, the made-up "gibberish" language seems rather pointless and I have no idea what the disembodied eyes are supposed to represent. The save issue as described by others is present...i.e. if the app closes down due to memory management it's possible your progress can be reset to an earlier level. I discovered that if I immediately close and relaunch the app it returns me to the latest level I'm playing. Amazing that the sophisticated gameplay and graphic design can be so well-executed, but these simple housekeeping tasks present challenges. All in all, the game has me hooked and I would be interested to see a sequel.

Icloud issues but great game. Updated *** All fixed woo! Original- Great game but has iCloud issues. Near perfect game but had to take off one star for icloud not working. I been playing on iPhone and now trying to play on ipad pro but it won’t sync no matter what I tried. Happy to update when fixed.

Updated review. Ok my last review was a little harsher than intended and apologies for that! I gave the the game another try and enjoyed it. it’s a great relaxing puzzle game with a unique mechanic. The visuals are gorgeous and the game is definitely worth checking out!

I love it. This game has been one of my absolute favorite games on Apple Arcade. It is truly one of a handful that keeps me giving up my $5 a month to play it. Sure it is not without it’s issues but updates will fix them and it’s small things here and there. Honestly, forming the cards to build things and solve the puzzles is really gratifying. And I like that it’s challenging enough but not ridiculously so. It’s a mobile game, I play games on my phone to unwind and relax and this game is so perfect for that. Thank you for making it, I think it’s a masterpiece and I look forward to future updates!

Pretty but muddled – DNF. The visuals and sound are lovely and the card folding/unfolding feels nice, but I quit very early. It feels like the aesthetic and the attempted story work against the game's puzzle nature. The detailed environment makes me want to explore and try things, but it's not that kind of game — you expand, collapse, and rearrange boxes to unlock cutscenes, and that's it. And all I got out of the few cutscenes I watched is that some people talked — no sense of the content, mood, or importance. The narrative aspect also frustrates me because I have no clear sense of why I'm moving thru the levels or why buildings and doors made of cards are a thing. If the game were more purely a puzzler, this wouldn't matter — the goal is to solve the puzzles and the card-buildings are just a quirky choice. But half burying the puzzle nature under the story and aesthetic changes my expectations and leaves me disappointed.

It is a very nice game but…. It is a very nice game but it loses its current level lots of the time and it is annoying!! I’m in the page third right now and already passed 6 level there and after some time it still starts me at lage 3rd level1! Please fix this bug

Good puzzle, bad storyline. I really enjoyed the gameplay on puzzles, also the sound design and music is amazing. It gives some sense of satisfaction. But that euphoria of finishing a puzzle is getting ruined by the forced cut scenes that you have to watch it and try to make sense of it!

Awesome. Please (!!) make a follow up to this. I absolutely LOVE this game….so much that I’ve ended up playing a bit before bed, except it turns into hours and the sun is coming up. 😂 i love doing puzzles and some abstract thinking - this is even great to replay & set my own goals (ie: time trial, not use hints, finish in least amount of moves…) Keep it coming!

Very beautiful game, but.... The puzzles are really fun to play and the game has a great vibe overall. That’s why I think it’s a very beautiful game, but please put a skip button for the transitions.

bug?. first few levels were very relaxing..level with the pink clouds feels buggy-used cards to lower platform, but the new platform is unclickable (not even an X(can’t go there) notification. latest ios-12promax

Beautiful but baffling.. Beautiful design, interesting puzzles, helpful hints. But what has me baffled is when I’ve positioned the player at a stage of the level, go to move the cards into their next position and for some reason, the player starts in motion climbing down from where I’ve just positioned them. Now I have to redo everything to get the player back to where they were, because, though they can climb down, they inexplicably can’t climb up!

Great puzzles but confusing cutscenes. I think the game puzzles are interesting and enjoyable, and I’ve been having fun working through them. I don’t mind the cut scenes, but I find them very confusing. I don’t know what they are showing me. Are they building to some ultimate story? If so, you’ve lost me. I don’t think you need to remove them, but a skip would be good for some. And making them a little more understandable for those of us that enjoy a little story with our puzzles would be good for the rest of us. Thanks for a fun game!

Love this game!. Amazing development of strategic thinking! Actually makes your brain cells move LOL ! Only feedback is the in between dialogue. Too lengthy and can’t understand what is happen or being said. There should be option to skip even though it’s building on a story. Otherwise great great great!!!

Where the cards fall, man.. Okay. So this game is very fun, and it is very relaxing. It has a very good storyline and I enjoy the game. However there are a few improvements that could be made. First, there should be customization options. Please add some feature into the game to where you can change the background color/design of the cards as this would make it very nice. Second of all, you should allow players to create their own characters and use them in the game as it would make the vibe and feel of the game more personal. Lastly, you should allow players to decide what to wear from a closet or bedroom or just a menu. Again this would make the game feel better. Please don’t add in-game currency though, as that would ruin the peaceful and puzzle-like vibes that run through the game. Other than this, I really enjoy the game.

Cut scenes and hints. I like the cut scenes, I don’t understand them, but they are a cute addition to the game. When I press the light bulb for a hint I am kicked out of the game. Please fix this glitch, other than that I would give this game 5 stars. Me and my son have enjoyed trying to figure out the card placement.

Boring, terrible controls. First 5 minutes of this game and I was instantly disappointed. So much attention to the artwork and the actual game itself is numb. Why do developers put so much effort into looks if they aren’t going to do so with the actual gameplay itself. First and foremost for Apple TV users a controller is a must and there is no support with this game. Dealing with the ATV remote is an awful experience. Second, you must abide by the little circles. No room for exploring just select a circle and the little person moves. Tedious AF. Third, after 5 minutes of frustration, upset enough to right a review and then delete this terrible game. Apple, if you’re going to require a subscription for games like this you need to work a little better or else Apple Arcade is gonna be just another failed attempt at Mac entering the video game scene.

Almost perfect. The game is great. My only gripe is the app is very processor intensive and stutters even on iPhone 7. I don’t have that problem with other apps. My phone even got hot after a while of playing. But I do like the game play! Oh and I ran into a weird bug where I collapsed a tower just as my guy got to the edge and then I couldn’t do anything. The guy wouldn’t move and the card tower couldn’t get rebuilt.

Please fix. I am playing this game regularly at night because it’s very relaxing and puts me to sleep. But there’s a bug that happens. When I click on hints the app closes and goes to my home screen. Not sure why this just randomly started I’ve tried a hard reset on my device and clearing space in my memory. It’s unfortunate because I’ll prolly stop playing it.

Lean into it. You won’t be sorry.. It took me time to see how the functionality of the game wouldn’t get repetitive, but after a few levels and taking in the beautiful design, I grew more and more impressed and entertained.

Truly a work of art. Honestly I love this game. I’m not sure what I was expecting when I downloaded it but let me say I have been surprised. It’s a little tricky at first because there are no directions or like a tutorial to get you used to the gameplay before you start, since there’s no words or written notes. Other than this small blip, the game is amazing. It’s fun, challenging, cute storyline. I’ve almost finished it and I started the game this evening, I just can’t put it down.

Frustrating. This game looks great but is frustrating. The pace is slow. There are several things that look like they can be interacted with (household items, people, signs) and seem to invite action (ghost people reading a sign) but do nothing, leading to a lot of useless tapping to convince yourself that there’s nothing to be done. Then you might notice the icon in the lower left and decide to see if there is more info there. You might tap the card deck and see some individual cards. What happens when you tap these unmanned cards? Some explanation of what your doing? A detailed view of that card? No, your level gets reset to the beginning without warning, and that card disappears. Expecting other great random frustrations from this game, i think I’ll stop here at the beginning where its left me.

Won’t save game. Love the gameplay and story. Graphics are great as well. My only issue is my games aren’t being saved. When I come back to play, I’m always back to a level I’ve already played before. iCloud is on as well. Idk what it is.

Game progress. I love the game but needs a lot of improvements. The major problem is that every time I stop playing, the game log out itself and lose all the progress I made and back to wherever they want and I have to play again the levels I’ve already played. There’s no option to save before logging out. The story of the boy is confusing and there’s no option to skip it. I stopped playing the game because I’m tired of playing the same levels over and over again.

Please add skip option for cut scenes. The cut scenes are very pretty and I can appreciate the effort it took, but it would be super if there was an option to skip the cut scenes when your not in the mood for such long pauses between gameplay. Edit: Reviewing the other comments, I see that several users have also complained and requested a skip option - even users that suggested this YEARS AGO. Hello? Is anyone listening or is it that the developers don’t care to improve gameplay based on user recommendations?

1984? Illuminati? A Certain Communist Country Always Watching?. Visuals are impeccable, music and different mazes/puzzles are fantastic. Simplistic, beautiful, has me curious about all the eyes 👀. My only suggestion is to speed up the cut scenes the tiniest bit, a little too slow motion to enjoy.

Good gameplay but annoying cut scenes.. The gameplay is fun until it becomes repetitive. If the play scenes were a little longer and perhaps a little more complex, it would be even more fun. As others have stated, the cut scenes are a pain. There is no way to skip them, and they provide no additional details on how to solve the next level. To the developer, please add a Skip button, or better yet an option in the settings to always skip the cut scenes. This way the game flows a lot quicker.

Slow and cumbersome card interaction. Hey snowman … all you needed was a double tap to expand or collapse cards. I get why you picked pinch and spread to do this but it’s gimmicky and a pain. Double tap is clearly a better option. Keep it simple. This kinda kills the enjoyment for me. Game looks really nice but it’s kinda slow and monotonous.

Please stop with the cut scenes. I saw that there was an update so I tried this game again hoping that they had done something to remove or speed up the slow, nonsensical cut scenes. Boy was I disappointed. This game has got to be one of the most frustrating I’ve ever played. I want to like it because the graphics are great and the concept is cool. The puzzles are fun and challenging. BUT THE CUT SCENES MAKE IT UNPLAYABLE. And it wouldn’t be so bad if they even half way made sense! But it’s just awful.

Really good. I want to say something to the developers of this game, which is I really do appreciate this game, so much, I think this is so well build and unique, we have to rethink what is it means for gaming instead of only turning on the game and just start to kill and about all that bloody stuff.

I love the story and the game mechanics. But progress isn’t saved properly.. This would be a solid 4+ star rated game if not for the awful issue with saving progress. I have had to replay more than 10 levels, sometimes more than once, after the game resumes and dumps me back at a spot that I previously finished. It is extremely frustrating and kills the excitement and enthusiasm for finishing the story,

Constant loss of progress. The game a beautiful and great but every time I leave the progress resets to first level. It is very frustrating to go though same puzzles and story over and over again. Definitely loose the game flow

Interesting mechanics, confusing story. Aesthetically this game is gorgeous, the puzzle mechanic of the cards is very cool, I just really struggled with understanding the story and central drive of the game.

Lack of optimization. Even frame drops occur on iPhone 11. Few minutes of gameplay cause serious burning temperature rises, generally it just looks unfinished game.

Buggy at saving/loading progress. It’s great to play but it keeps losing my progress even though I’m signed in and it’s saving. I’ll open it one time and it’s at the right spot, then the next time I open it’s reverted to 5-6 levels back from that. I also find the cut scenes too slow but can live with that. I’ll probably delete because losing progress is too frustrating

Marvelous, long puzzler with a meta-story. Wonderfully long, with original gameplay mechanics. Stuck? Ask the game for a hint, but I challenge you to try without using them often. There is a lovely meta-story that develops between levels. Congratulations to the developers. The levels must have been challenging to conceive and test!

The game is good, but my progress has been reset. The latest update has cleared dozens of levels of progress. I don’t intend playing those again, so unless a future update will restore my progress I think I’m done.

Great puzzler, annoying cut scenes. Loved the puzzles, but found the cut scenes annoying - unskippable, irrelevant and made no sense!

App update wiped my progress. Game is decent, and I enjoy the art style, but the annoying controls and unskippable cutscenes are frustrating. A game update wiping my progress for the 2nd time is the last straw for me. Uninstalled.

Great game but..... This game is amazing and the story is beautiful. The only thing that bothers me is that this game has bugs. When I enter the game it just kicks me out a random time I’m doing one of the puzzles, which annoys me because I have to start all over again! Please fix the bugs, so we won’t get interrupted while playing! Thanks and great job developers 😃 Audrey :)

Wow!. Nice design, simple but challenging at times

Almost Perfect!. Incredible puzzle game with great game art and mind bending puzzles but storyline can be difficult to follow and game progress does not sync between multiple devices with my iPhone and iPad Pro even though they are on the same Apple ID.

Runs poorly on iPad Air 2. Like the gameplay, but how can such a simple game be so juddery on an iPad Air 2?

Nice little game. Great game to keep you thinking. As with all snowman games great to play for a few minutes or a few hours. It also has peaceful little cut scenes to enjoy that make you smile.

Unskippable “Story”. Unskippable slow scenes that you’re supposed to somehow abstractly extract meaning from. The puzzle aspect is cool and challenging at times, but I often found myself spending longer wishing I could skip a cutscene than actually doing the puzzles. Also it feels like my iPhone XS Max is going to catch fire playing this game. Gets an extra star because it actually works when you’re offline, unlike a lot of other Apple Arcade games.

Crashes when opening. On iPhone X somehow it’s crashing. The fk?

Fun but it loses my save games. After I stop playing then come back to the game I’ve lost my save point and have to start again

Incredible game but crashes. I’ve waited years for this game to come out but for some reason it keeps crashing at the waterfall on the first level. I hope this will be easily fixed soon because it’s such an incredible game!!

Incredible game and story.. The game's main mechanism involves building houses of cards to create pathways around the landscapes, though figuring out where and how to craft these buildings is easier said than done. And the game does a wonderful of with the difficulty progression and introduction of new card. The art style, music and sound effects all play wonderfully and that end credit music is amazing! I love these type of games where the story is not told directly to the player but more told through the game, leaving each player with there own story and how it connects to there own life. This game is simply amazing. Great jobs to the devs and everyone who worked on this project! I can’t wait to see what you all make next.

Game is okay. Game is great to pass time in a fun and challenging way. Negative to it is that every time I leave the app my progress resets back. I’m so sick of doing the first few puzzles again that I’m literally giving up on the game.

Really enjoyable game. I don’t play games very often nowadays, but this has been the most up enjoyable game that I’ve played in quite a while. Interesting puzzles, lovely graphics. Very enjoyable.

Great game, great support. Fantastic art direction, a surprisingly captive silent narrative and engaging puzzles are a winning combination. And when na update purged our save data, the devs were responsive and quick to find a fix. (UPDATED REVIEW)

not saving progress. i don’t know if it’s this app or apple arcade, it’s not saving my progress and i have keep start over and over again! i’m done!

Where cards fall. Game is good. Needs remote control use.

Worth it. Play this when you’re feeling depressed and instantly feel happier. Rain sounds are so calming and love the graphics

Fun game.. but didn’t save progress. Played this game and got quite far in it, then I go to play again today and I have to start from the beginning ! What a joke.. cut scenes should be able to skip as well. Probably won’t be playing it anymore as I hate playing the same levels over again.

Later levels get glitchy..... I love this game. It’s beautiful and challenging. However, the gameplay with the Apple TV remote becomes glitchy in levels with 4 card decks. Sometimes a deck becomes unresponsive and I end up flicking between the other three decks unable to take control of the one I want. So frustrating. Give me a less fussy way to cycle through the decks and this is a five star game.

Beautiful and addictive. Smooth on iPad. Only issue is occasionally I’d accidentally send the character walking somewhere and need to redo a whole bunch of steps; it would benefit from an undo or rewind. Unplayable on Apple TV, which is mostly the fault of the unusable Apple TV remote. I bet it could work quite well with controller support.

Nice game, beautifully detailed dioramas. I'm glad that a game like this can exist and tell this kind of story. I like the sense of remove. But it's way too aggressive with trying to push hints on me. Wish I could disable that tooltip suggestion.

If you like The Last Campfire…. I haven’t finished playing the game yet however, I had to stop and write a review because I loved playing the last campfire and this absolutely reminds me of that game. so if you enjoyed it, I would recommend this one as well. I would agree there are a lot of cut scenes, but they don’t last long or at least from what I’ve played so far and imo they add to the experience.

Great puzzle. Wonderful story and the puzzles are nicely done

Forced cut scenes almost ruin an otherwise superb game.. Great graphics art. Very unique creatively designed puzzles. This is easily a 5 star game at its core. Despite my criticism it is one of my very favourites. But it can also be one of the most frustrating due to its somewhat problematic user interface. Ever since I’ve picked up this game I have a hard time putting it down in the middle of a puzzle. Then come the cut scenes after every single puzzle. I often lose patience with them and exit the game entirely. Some people love the cutscenes. Forcing people like me who only care about the game play, to sit through the entire cut scene each and every time is a major buzzkill. Please add a “skip” button the the cutscenes. One more user interface problem. Controls need to be improved. In concept tap to move character and pinch to build/collapse card houses seems simple. In practice attempts at pinching are often mistaken as taps. This can cause your character to climb down places they can not climb back up without restarting the puzzle layout. Very frustrating. The UI issues blemish what is otherwise one of the otherwise most perfect and uniquely creative puzzles on the App Store. They drop my rating to a 4.

Artistic game?. The cutscenes after each puzzle are at first cool looking, but ultimately dull, they add nothing to the plot, and they can not be skipped. I have played more then a dozen levels, and honestly each seems more difficult than they are because of the frustrating manoeuvring mechanics. This is the kind of game people give a high score to, because they think other people _should_ be liking it. I am giving it 3 stars instead of 2 because the music 🎶 is nice.

The story is useless. The story doesn’t make sense at all and it’s slow. And incomprehensible. It’s useless I quit because I was sick of the cutscenes.

Lost all my save file. Great game, great art, great game design. But I’ve just lost my save file. I was playing for about 1h30min and I’ll have to do it all over again... Game deserves 5 stars, but due to this bug I’ll give it 3.

Not sure what the story is about.... Easy puzzles. Not sure what the story is about. I got bored after five minutes.

Same Review as Hard Rain DPK from a year ago. I wanted to try, I wanted to play but This game is aggravatingly BORING! A skip button for cutscenes, give them subtitles or a bit more excitement or just remove them! A simple dpad for moving the character will take care of the movement problem. Listening to your reviews is good but DO something about them. At its core I love the puzzles, 5 star. The cut scenes are slow, annoying and confusing, I’ll be nice and 4 star. Tap to move character, pinch to adjust cards BUT, like Rain said, sometimes pinches become taps and the character slowly jumps down and basically resets the puzzle, 3 Star. Hard Rain DPK mentioned this a year ago and I’m complaining about the same, 2 star.

Good game but keep crushing. Can't even get pass the first level, just kept crushing I use iphone 6 The graphic is nice, but a bit too nice that the game is laggy and crushes very often I can feel that this could be an interesting game Please fix it soon so i can enjoy the game 🙏

Exceeded my expectations. I’ve waited for this game ever since it was announced. It looks and plays even better than what I thought it would. Can’t wait to dive deeper into the story. 🥺

Lack of Dialogue Creates Story Disconnect. Gameplay mechanics are nice, graphics are gorgeous. The cut scenes make little sense. Didn’t connect with the character nor understood what was going on half the time.

Not a Gamer. WCF is one of the first games in years that has caught my attention and desire to keep playing.

Boring. Beautiful graphics but it’s a very slow paced game, making it really boring.

Cutscenes ruin a 5star game. Non-skipable cutscenes after every puzzle (sometimes 2 cutscenes in a row) many of which last longer then it takes to solve the puzzles. The hours spent on cutscenes could have been used to make the game longer or made the game less expensive to make. I applaud them for attempting to make more then just a puzzle game, but the cutscenes did little to make me care about the character and added frustration with being forced to watch. Add a skip to get 5stars Beautifully made, runs smoothly (on 1st gen iPad Pro) Completely unique puzzles

Great game, Poor cloud save. I really like this game and i went really far in the game but the cloud wasn’t working with cross-platform so i decided to just play on my phone so i wouldn’t lost my progression. But suddenly, all my progression was lost, and this time i was too far in the game to just start from the beginning. So i stoped playing but i’m sad because it was good 😔.

AWSOOOOMEEE (developer, please repley.). Maybe this game can be easier? Im at a haarrrrdd level, been at it 4, like, an hour. I ya want me 2 like this, please go thro all the levels and make them easier? Thank you very much. (Such a coooool game) LOL

Great game but the storyline is boring. The gameplay is great. The controls can be finicky triggering the notification screen or dashboard screen to come down (or up) but that’s on the user. My biggest grief with this game and only reason not 5 star is you can’t skip the boring storyline and sometimes it goes cut scene to cut scene making of a kid living a boring life with no reason or interaction. PLEASE LET US SKIP THE STORYLINE it just slows down gameplay to the point I leave the game cuz I don’t want to wait and later go back and endure it cuz I want to play the game.

Lost Progress. I was playing this until the update yesterday and then I lost all my progress. Not willing to replay 2-3 hours of the game again and no way to get back to where I was. It’s a shame, I would have finished it.

Interesting, challenging concept; weird, unintelligible storyline. The gameplay itself is interesting and challenging. It can take several tries and many minutes to solve a puzzle, especially once newer mechanics get introduced like wind and clouds. The graphics and overall polish are great. Controls can be a little wonky at times. It is sometimes quite hard to discern if your stack is the right height to line up with a platform since either it can’t or I can’t figure out if I can change the viewing angle. The pacing of the game is quite slow though as after most puzzles you have to go through a story point. The memories you watch all kind of make sense (I think... is the character reliving tough memories growing up?), but the dialogue is unintelligible so really I’m just guessing. It’s easily my least favourite part of the game because I can’t relate to it or get attached to it, and it creates really long breaks in the good parts of the game; figuring out the puzzles.

Well worth a download. This beautiful puzzle adventure is a good time. With easy to use controls and a peaceful soundtrack this makes for a calming experience that you can play anywhere Highly recommended for old fans and newcomers to the genre alike

Great puzzles, some story/control problems. The puzzles are amazing! I only resorted to using the hints a few times, and always regretted it (“I should have been able to figure that out! 😄”). Check out the other Apple Arcade game, Creaks, if you like this, and vice versa. The biggest fault would be the controls. Too many times, I tapped somewhere that I didn’t want to, and there was no way to cancel the move. Reproducing the position that was just left could be arduous. A “cancel” or “undo last move” option would be greatly appreciated. Also, it would be very helpful to be able to move the camera around. Sometimes it’s quite hard to judge how things are lining up. Like some other reviewers, I wasn’t a fan of the cut scenes. They didn’t add much to the experience, and are painfully slow. I might just be missing something.

Interesting Gameplay and Gorgeous Graphics. A great puzzle game well worth playing. My only problem is it doesn’t always save from the last level finished. Several times I’ve had to replay several levels to continue. An annoying bug. Using an iPad mini 5th gen if that helps.

Checkpoint system in this game sucks. This doesn’t pick up from where you left off instead it resets you to the last check point making it really frustrating to play the same thing again and again. This shouldn’t be a thing on a mobile game. The pinch controls can be clunky and a bit awkward to use as well

Lost my progress (update). I got pretty far in the game but lost all of my progress for some reason. No way I’m replaying the whole game to get back to that point. The puzzles themselves are actually pretty fun, and moving the cards around feels great. The story is really boring though, and the cut scenes are unskippable which is very tedious. UPDATE: I was able to restore my progress using the method suggested by the developer. However, I still think it’s unacceptable to release a game with a bug that can wipe away your progress. I also would rate the game much higher if they released an “arcade” mode that was just the puzzles with none of the cutscenes or gave you a way to skip the cutscenes.

Challengingly Laggy. I don’t have that old of an iPad (iPad Air 2) but this game made me think it was on its way out. There is a level near the end of the game with floating text messages, and I just hinted through it because the laggy nature of the game made it nearly impossible to expand cards or make the character move. I ended up having to replay the level because the character got stuck on the stairs and wouldn’t accept any other moves, adding to the frustration. I struggled to pick up the story beats, between the alternate language and the use of “wall eyes”. It’s interesting and I enjoyed the puzzles I wasn’t lagged out of.

Unique Puzzles but issues with iCloud and others. Overall a great game and creative puzzles. But about 50% of the times I open the app it starts at stage 1. I Suppose that this is an issue with iCloud syncing but I find it strange that it isn’t saving a local copy also so that at times when your are offline (say and airplane) it will pickup where you left off last on that device while always keeping tracking of your furthest level passed once the iCloud connection Is re-establishes. The setting options are so thin that there is really no troubleshooting to be done. No option to force a sync with iCloud. I just can’t play if it opens at the starting stage. Try again later Next, the scenes between the stages get pretty annoying with the slowness and inability to skip. Finally the single tap to move the character, as others have mentioned, is troublesome. Really easy to make your little dude jump of some ledge you spent 10 mins to get him on. Maybe a double tap to move him or just an undo option. Make some tweaks and it’s 5 stars.

Controls are off. The character keeps falling off the of the building while I am trying to solve the puzzle with the deck of cards. So I basically am fighting with the character to stand still and the deck of cards.

Gorgeous and addictive. I fell in love with the style of the game and its music.

Great game with a few bugs. Great game with well thought out levels with exceptional graphics. Knocking of a star because player control could be a little better, pinching on the cards sometimes makes the character move and that causes a lot of frustration, also pinch on the cards some times doesn’t work and needs a level restart specially in the levels with wind.

Amazing Game!. Super engaging and well made, I can’t stop playing 😊

Painfully slow at times. Overall it is enjoyable but frustration abound. From sluggish interactions, to not knowing when to tap to play the story, the frustration builds to a point of not liking the game. At some point it turns to multiple puzzles that if you don’t finish them all, you start back at the start, which then you have to frustratingly sit through sluggish point between each puzzle. If you switch to do something else, the game restarts, so again frustrating towards the end versus most of the puzzles throughout the game.

Wonderful game but... It’s absolutely wonderful and I love all the puzzles so far. I have yet to finish it thou... I got to the 6 of Diamonds level and it has been nothing but issues. They game has locked up and restarted twice. My character has become unmovable, I’ve become stuck because of a puzzle and could get back down to fix it. My cards to solve a puzzle stopped allowing me to click on them. I image this can all be patched out. So once that is done they game with great. I do wish maybe there was dialog in the story parts but you pick up things as you go along. They game has a lot of content and I got really far before I had any serious issues.

Great game. Great game for sure. Very clever puzzle game. Looks incredible. Thank you!! Lots of fun

Warning: Save Problem with the Game. Wait….after getting pretty far in the game, after a couple weeks of play, it’s now starting me all over again. Not cool.

Plays amazingly yet wastes your time. Let me start by saying this game is brilliantly designed, both aesthetically and mechanically. The card mechanic is one of those things that kept me excited from start to finish. The part that did actually bore me were the bits of exposition between levels. Outrageously pretentious not only by trying to tell a story that isn’t needed but by doing it so poorly that I was both exhausted and confused by it. I had fun playing it despite needing hints here and there but I really can’t give more than 3 stars for feeling like my time wasn’t respected. I feel like I’m being punished when I complete levels when I should’ve felt proud and excited.

Disappointing Story. I downloaded this because it promised a story, and the artwork and environments are beautiful so I thought this would be enjoyable. Instead it’s completely frustrating, there is zero dialog (in English anyway) and no narration or explanation of anything that happens or why people’s ghosts/memories keep appearing and even where the cards come from and what is happening at all. The end result is a jumbled seemingly random sequence of cutscenes where nothing is ever explained, not even the basic stuff like the characters, their names and their relationships with each other. It’s really a shame because with some dialog and narration (doesn’t even need to be voiced, even just having text appearing on the screen when you click on objects) would be awesome. It is a shame because the story looks like it might be interesting if you could know anything about what is actually happening. Instead it’s like watching a movie with the sound off, and worse since the story is told in a series of unconnected scenes. The puzzles aren’t bad but they’re really too easy. Like other reviewers have said once you figure out a few tricks the solutions are all basically the same. It could really use more mechanics of things you could do with the cards. Personally I also wish the environments were more interactive in any way. At least like a point and click adventure with areas to explore, things to collect or find (even just easter eggs, or more story based where you could get narration by clicking on things.

Fun puzzles overshadowed by monotonous cutscenes. The puzzles are pretty good! However, after completing each one I had to sit through a long and inscrutable cutscene or two. Story should be a reward for overcoming a challenge, not a punishment! Oh also it looks amazing on iPad. Mixed bag, I guess.

Love it but.... wish I could skip the cutscenes!

Mostly fun , just a couple issues. I really love the puzzle aspect of the game but the character is way to slow and sluggish which is really irritating. Also the story aspect after every puzzle is totally not necessary. If you want to keep them give us a way to skip them or put them in every 5 puzzles or so. I feel really good when I solve a puzzle and just want to move on to the next one but I have to wait for the story to play first and they are really slow

I didn’t think a mobile game could be achieve this level of fun.. It’s a simple platformer(in a sense), it’s very aesthetically pleasing and movements are intuitive. I’m not sure if the cutscenes involve loading new levels, I’ll admit they are irritating. If you’re unwilling to let them be skippable, please at least make them automatic if possible. Overall A+. devs deserve a cookie.

Yup no saved progress makes me sad. Like everyone here, the lack of saved progress for me is a big problem. If the developer doesn’t want to support the app any longer, I totally understand. But it should be in Apple Arcade if it no longer works properly. Snowman usually does a much better job than this.

Great game mechanics, incomprehensible story. I love the game part of this game- it’s very unique, easy to learn, and the levels are easy in the beginning and get very challenging. The hint system is well balanced-even when you get a hint, sometimes it’s hard to figure out how to get there. The story, on the other hand, is pretty pointless and incomprehensible. It looks nice, the art is good, but most of the time I had no idea where it was going. But it was a fun game, so I’ll only deduct one star.

Hooked from the beginning. I was so confused, as there’s not really any instructions, but you kind of catch on quickly. There’s still lots of bugs in it, but I am really enjoying it so far, except the eyes are a bit creepy Since it’s saved in the cloud, please have it save from where you left off across devices. **Update, still a couple of bugs, but it looks like it synced with my iPad now. This is the first game I’ve completed in years. Ty! I need to find more games like this.

Great game, but Update deleted my game save. I will start off by saying that this was one of the reasons I joined Apple Arcade. This game is ingenious with the way they present you with puzzles. The mechanics are fun and fairly easy. Some puzzles will make you stop and rethink your play. Only downside I can find is that there’s absolutely no replay value once you complete the stages, nor any rewards when successfully clearing out a stage other than opening the next stage. Graphics are intriguing too. Now, it seems that my game save has been reset after the app update. This is really a bummer because I was more than halfway done with the game, and knowing exactly how much replay value it has (none), I find it very hard to just start over. I will leave the app on my phone with hopes that the game save will show up again, but knowing how this works, I will not get my hopes up. Thanks for this experience. I enjoyed it while it worked.

Great Puzzles, Some Issues. Really loved the puzzles, and the hint system in game is excellent and allowed me to enjoy the story and art without ever getting any more frustrated than I wanted to get. That said, it was very frustrating when my character decided to jump off a block and lose me a few minutes of carefully made progress. That, and pinching small houses of cards could be annoying on my regular sized iPhone screen. The controls definitely felt like they’d be most at home on an iPad. I enjoyed watching the main character reflect on his life, but ultimately I feel like I missed out on too many details, or they were simply too obscured to be at all affected by his journey personally. I don’t think it was bad, but it just didn’t feel like it really amounted to anything. Great puzzling and art though!

Why Can’t I Fast Forward?. Overall the puzzles are quite fun. The zoom out feature doesn’t work and every once in a while the controls are janky. That being said I really enjoy the mechanics and the puzzles. I just don’t understand the story between levels. It doesn’t make sense and I don’t understand what is happening and I wish I could skip and get back to good puzzling. I honestly can’t even finish because the stories between take longer then some of the levels and I do not like my time being wasted. Great puzzles just please let me fast forward so I can enjoy your game!

Great Puzzle Game. This game is great for those that like crisp graphics, relaxing audio, no rush relaxing game play, and challenging puzzles. I would suggest to the developers to patch in a double tap to move the guy bc it can be quite frustrating when he moves and or jumps to a lower level and sets me back 5+ minutes worth brain power when I was only trying to move or spread a deck of cards. This happens so easily and all of the time. Other than that there are no other complaints I have about this game.

Crash all the time. It is a very buggy software.

With tweaks it could be great.. So, this is a good game that, with a couple of tweaks, could be really great. The gameplay concept is really interesting, and I found most of the levels to be well balanced - not too easy, not too hard. I didn’t have any issues with the app crashing or losing progress. My two major issues are, as others have mentioned 1) the cut scenes. I get the idea of leaving thing ambiguous or open ended, but ultimately the concept was so loose that I found the conclusion disappointing. 2) I wish you could rotate within the game play. The perspective sometimes makes it hard to see what items are the same height, etc Would still recommend.

This type of game is why I subscribed to Apple Arcade. This is exactly the type of game I wanted Apple Arcade for. I love playing puzzle games like this. Like other reviewers, I have gotten frustrated when the character moved off a platform it took me a long time to get to when I’m trying to pinch the cards. The story is hard to follow at first but I think I’m starting to understand it more and I’m glad it’s there. More games like this one will definitely keep me a subscriber.

Beautiful game. Impeccable animation. Great ambient soundtrack. Gameplay could be greatly improved by being able, as another review mentioned, to lock the character in place so a card collapse pinch is not accidentally interpreted as a character movement tap. Also, are the characters in between vignettes speaking a real language? I am intrigued by the unfolding narrative told by the vignettes but wish there was more substance to them. Why does the protagonist seem so constantly sad and alienated?

Poor optimization for iPad 10.2. The game is great but playing on an iPad 7th gen feels terrible (the game runs at <30 FPS)

Polished puzzler. Wasn’t sure about it from the previews, but since it is included in Arcade thought I would give it a try. Boy am I glad I did. A very polished presentation and puzzles that are fun and interesting to figure out. As the difficulty progressed I’ve begun using the hint system, which I also like very much. It gives just enough information to help you progress, without giving away the entire puzzle so it doesn’t feel like "cheating." To me this game represents the promise of Apple Arcade. Try something you might not have otherwise without fear of IAP and find a gem.

Great game!. Love the puzzles! Best game of all I played. On first green iPad Pro there’s problem with battery consumption: 1.5 hours game play used 75% of battery.

👍👍👍👍👍. I love it thank you❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Terrible game design. - Aesthetics over fun - Boring puzzles - Weak narrative

Fun game, but fix the save features. I enjoy the puzzles, but this is the second time my progress has been set back. And that was AFTER The update this week. First time it happened I had to completely restart from the beginning, and I was fairly deep into the game. This last update kicked me back several puzzles from where I was. Also, it would be nice if there was a skip option on the cut scenes. Honestly I could care less about them in the first place, and it’s really frustrating to have to watch them all over again when my progress was lost. Fix the game or pull it from Apple Arcade.

Trouble starting up. Black screen

A few technical issues. This game has a great puzzle dynamic and a good hint system, but the story is melancholy and obscure, and I’ve never quite been able to tell what’s happening. Most disappointingly, my entire progress was deleted with the 1.10 update, even though I have cloud save activated. That’s really not good development. The controls can be a little frustrating sometimes when your guy moves unexpectedly, especially when you’re just trying to do a pinch gesture, and it can be crucial he stays put because you need to do things in the right order on some levels and then have to start all over.

Just awful. My least enjoyable Arcade experience BY FAR. I really wanted to like this one, but found ABSOLUTELY no redeeming qualities. The story is boring, ineptly told, and completely pointless. The puzzles could have, SHOULD HAVE, been great, but instead they are so poorly defined, perspective-wise, that almost all of my difficulty came from not being able to decipher exactly how tall or how distant the fixed and movable puzzles pieces were. Allowing us to rotate the scenes, or better art and design work on the perspectives, would have completely changed this game (for the better). After about 15 puzzles, I just gave up and started using the hint system, which, if you can believe it, is also terrible. How hard is it to include a working hint system? The hints sometimes work, but will often show you where a piece needs to go, without any hints about how to get it there. I finished this by watching videos of the solutions, just because I want to experience everything Arcade has to offer, but I was frankly relieved when this “game” was over. I would give zero stars if I could.

Good puzzle. I like the puzzle with the cards, it feels creative and pleasant to interact with. But the story is confusing. I don’t understand what the cut scenes talked about

Saving. Please save the game so when we start the app back up we’re not 5 stages behind. Gotta save better. Then we’ll rate the 5.

Beautifully crafted, but not without flaws.. Certainly a gorgeous game, with a unique puzzle mechanic. This is crafted with love, no doubt about it. Two minor flaws costing a half-star each: 1. The fact that this game clearly loses progress is totally unacceptable. See other reviews for how to recover your place if this game just resets you to the beginning. I’m glad I checked the reviews, because that kind of technical problem is generally a hard-delete for me, I lose all faith in the developers to respect my data and time. In this case, they clearly recognized their mistake, and there’s a kludge in place to restore from a web link. But still....c’mon, team Snowman. This is a bad look out of the gate. 2. The story and cut-sequences seem deliberately opaque. I get that we’re going for a moody coming-of-age exploration of friendship. But honestly, it feels indulgent and almost pretentious. Many games have created beautiful stories that are also approachable and touching (Monument Valley, Journey, and more). This one missed the mark, skewed towards poetic belly-button watching. Worth a play, with these minor caveats.

One of the best games I played in my life. Immersive and intriguing, Where Cards Fall brings us into an other-worldly life that is oh-so similar. This not at all simple puzzle game uses the simplest pinch-and-zoom mechanics to build and collapse houses of cards. I am constantly amazed by how the game developers create those complex levels using such straightforward control. With all those mystical puzzles, this game is also a bildungsroman of the protagonist. Through vivid environment and the ASRM-like soundtrack, we are getting a vicarious glimpse at the up-and-down of his/her life. Where Cards Fall also uses an artificial language to show that story-telling can be done in a tongue-less manner, graphically and interactively. Isn’t that the essence of a game? TV

Great Game, Issues Apparent. This is a great game and I‘ll refer to other reviews to relay its good qualities, of which there are many. My main issue is the saving or lack thereof. When I finish a level, there is always a fairly lengthy story driven narrative scene which I use a stopping place to go about my day. The problem is that THE GAME DOES NOT ACTUALLY SAVE HERE. It is absolute ridiculous that I’ve had to replay multiple levels over again because the game doesn’t save when you finish a level. Why!!! It’s a mobile game, saving should be baked in at every turn. Please fix this, I’m tired of replaying sections I just beat. Thanks!

Updated review. An update on the below. After the new update and a very prompt email response from the developer I was able to pick up right where I left off in the game. Excellent customer service from this developer. Happy this worked out- I really enjoy this game! Original Review: I had been enjoying this game for a while. Until today when I started the game and all my progress is gone! I thought everything was saved to the cloud-to be used on multiple devices. Where did it go. I'm far enough in the game where I'm not going to start over from the start. Very disappointing!

Boring. OMG soooo boring

Great unique concept. I’m through about 20 levels and it’s been a great puzzle style game so far. The idea is so unique and every 5 levels they throw in a new twist that you need to figure out. All the touch and pinch gestures are super accurate. The graphics are crisp and look really good. I hope the remaining levels continue to evolve and become more difficult.

One of my favorite arcade games. The cut scenes seem obscure as others posters mentioned. At first they were something to just get through but I did eventually start paying more attention to the story. It seems to relate a little but not a lot. I did experience most of the glitchy things that others also mentioned but meh I just kept plugging away anyway. It would be nice to save mid level progress and also lock the person in place. It would also be nice to be able to skip the story if I wanted to. Or if not to be able to zoom in more close to the characters and their scenes. I like the hints a lot. I stopped playing the enchanted world game because it was maddening to not have any hints at all. Oh and I almost forgot to mention. I really like the music and sounds from this game. When I play with my beats on it’s very soothing to listen to.

I’m not sure I can do it.. I’m knocking a star off for the tedious between level narrative. Some depressed kid and his horrible life. It’s dragging the whole game down and turning what is a beautiful game in every other way into a slog as I tap trying to unsuccessfully skip the cut scenes. The rest of the game is fantastic. Art, sound, level design...top knotch. I’m really not sure how much more of these cutscenes I can put up with though, probably going to delete this soon.

Cool game hate the cut scenes. I LOVE playing this game but the cut scenes BLOW mines😫 eventually I stopped playing. Sad cause I really enjoyed it, the actual game play is awesome the cutscenes though are like depressing commercial breaks. Please give the option to skip!🙏🏽

Excellent. WCF is my favorite new game this year — it’s a peaceful zone to unravel simple but challenging puzzles for how to move through a scene. Interspersed with a strange but somehow interesting story that’s sort of mysterious, but begins to make sense as the game goes on. Unlike a lot of games, there is a lot of depth and lots and lots of new scenes to explore. Hats off to the team who made WCF. I hope we see more from you soon.
