LOVE IT. Best skateboarding game I’ve EVER played (and platform, device, etc.). I actually subscribe to Arcade for this game ALONE. The developers are really cool also, I emailed them a month or so ago and the girl who responded was rad, so thank you for that... My ONLY two nitpicks (and believe you me, I’m really splitting hairs) are 1. Sometimes your skater will involuntarily perform a special trick (it’s a grab, I want to say “airwalk” but I could be wrong re: the actual name of the trick, I DO KNOW however, when VOLUNTARILY doing it you must–either at the top-left or top-right corner–drag down and to the left. Approximately 7:00 on the special trick wheel) and for the rest of your line your skater’s arms stay up and rarely ever go down, mid-tricks. It’s a small annoyance but an annoyance all the same. Lastly, I LOVE the new skateboards and with that said, MORE OPTIONS FOR EVERYTHING would be absolutely the best. I’m talking: different glasses, clothes, accessories, wheels, you name it. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, I’ve grown pretty tired of just LA, Olso, and Barca. Two suggestions re: the environments, EITHER a: extend the playing field significantly, change it (but not entirely), OR (my favorite suggestion) simply add two-three more cities so thrash. Other than that, CONGRATS GUYS. EXCELLENT GAME. (BTW, I NEVER write reviews so that, in-and-of-itself, speaks volumes to how much I enjoy playing it). THANK YOU GUYS!!

Incredible game for Apple Arcade. I joined Apple Arcade to try all types of great new games, however I find myself spending the most time in this one. As a big fan of the early Tony Hawk franchise (never played the “Skate” series much) this game scratches the same itch with its multiple maps/courses, and varied goals/missions. The goals can get challenging, but are so rewarding to complete once you gain the skill to complete them. I’m working to get 3 stars on all, as well as complete all goals in free skate, and it has presented a serious challenge that keeps me coming back for more. Looking forward to seeing more for this game, in the way of tricks, maps, etc. Multiplayer could also be really fun if they implemented it well.

Great game, few suggestions. I love this game, and love the different outfits. But I have a few suggestions. I think that there should be more challenges for each city. It would also be cool if there was special modes like infinite race, or cop chase, maybe even a 3D mode. These suggestions would make the game so much better so please consider them. I also have a question, how do you unlock more customizations for your skater, I saw stuff in the trailers that I am not currently able to get. Like different hairstyles, and different types of glasses. Thx! And plz consider my suggestions as they would make the game a lot less boring. Any who, this is a great Apple Arcade game and good job 👏

AWESOME. First of all, I love this. I. LOVE. THIS. It’s fun, fast-paced, and almost has no bugs when I play it. I got this when I was bored, and had nothing to do. But then, I saw it. The perfect game (this one, of course!) When I first got this, I thought, “Wow. This is weird.” But obviously I was wrong. This game is not weird at all. Maybe different, but good. Since I loved it, I shared it with by friends, and now all they want to play is this game! Thank you so much for this game! But, there is one glitch. Whenever I play it, it takes forever to load! But overall, it’s so fun!

Very Fun Game. This game, off the bat, is fun. Admittedly, I booted up the game first and thought it was annoying to earn money to unlock stuff like customization. You earn money by doing missions, and after the first mission I realized, “Wow, you earn money pretty fast.” If you do a mission perfectly (3 stars) you get 600 of the currency. You get 100 for one star, 200 for the next star, and 300 for the third (adding up to 600). It leaves easy room for customizations yet the missions aren’t so easy to give you 3 starts on your first attempt. This game requires you to complete the tutorial and the first 9ish missions for you to realize how fun it is. I played begrudgingly for the first 45-60 minutes, but after that I easily wasted 2 more hours into it. I personally am not a fan of the character stat upgrades. For every time you upgrade a stat, the next upgrade of that same stat is 200 more (200 then 400 then 600 and so on). Facing these make you feel considerably underpowered when you discover this and I am just not a fan. It isn’t bad design, just something I didn’t like and one might want to be weary of. Overall, great game, don’t hesitate if you want to get this. It won’t be a waste

Some ideas. This is a beautiful game and there’s nothing else like it, but I have some idea’s to add to this fabulous game. I’m a skateboarder myself and when I skateboard I like to cruise and turn or even kick turn but that’s not the case for this game. Don’t get me wrong as I said it’s great but I just have some ideas to add on the this game. I know I see other directions in these maps in the game but I can’t go because I can’t turn. Here’s my other idea. There’s a lot of skate street maps but not enough skate parks and my idea is that you can add some ramps maybe some drop in’s but that’s my idea I’m not telling you to do it. That’s it beautiful game it’s great but you elaborate onto great things and make them better.

Kind of depressing now that I think about it. I haven’t had my meds yet today so who knows, but I want to like it so much more than I do. Should there be a definitive, unit-moving, paradigm-shifting skateboarding game on iOS? You bet. Is this it? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Like you can’t even customize your guy or your deck or anything off the bat. You gotta do dumb stuff you already know how to do except arrhythmically to earn space bucks, and is that really all there is to it? If I wanted to move my fingers in one of eight different directions and pretend I was a big boy at the Moving Horizontally To The Right party I could save myself a lot of trouble by just getting a tech deck. If I seem mean it’s only because, like I said, I just want it to be good. I want to love this thing I really do. But I think maybe I just love the idea of it. Good enough for $4.99 a month I GUESS but time is money and I’ve got monsters and creeps to stab in the face and neck babey

BEAUTIFUL but.... This game will definitely fill the void that EA Skate series have left in our lives, and is definitely the best skating game offered on iOS. Now, due to playing many games where in game currency/credits are basically a rip off, I decided to spend all my newly earned Skate Cred purely on aesthetics, believing I wasn’t going to get addicted and want to progress too far (boy, was I wrong). I ended up getting everything from shoes to sunglasses and left my pockets with very little Skate Cred. Unfortunately I didn’t know Skate Cred is EXTREMELY scare. Completing challenges and activities in endless mode didn’t feel too rewarding after receiving only a small amount of SC, even for the really tough activities that require you to spend 1000 SC on special tricks. My addiction to this game was insane, considering I bought the subscription just for this game two nights ago. However, I can’t feed into my addiction anymore because all I have is 2490 SC and i can’t purchase the next map because I have to purchase a 1000SC trick to receive only about 500SC in return. Basically all i’m saying is to get a 5 star rating, I think there should be a fix to gain a bit more SC per challenge/activity or other ways to achieve SC or a way to sell all my clothes because of all the regret I feel so wasting all my SC! Pro Skate Pop Meter is a Revelation. This is far and away my favorite game in the Apple Arcade library. I never would have guessed a side scrolling skate game could work so well and be so much fun but this developer found a way to make it happen. My favorite addition is the Pro Skate section in LA. The trick pop meter makes the game a LOT more fun to play. My only suggestion is for the devs to add the trick pop meter to every level and every game mode. I’m not a programmer and I haven’t a clue how much of a challenge a change like this would be but I think it’s worth the effort. Also; add some new gear to the skate shop! I’ve purchased basically everything and I have lots more money to waste on $10,000 trucks and the like. Love the game. Thanks for making it and thanks for the recent updates.

Perfectly awesome, could be a little better. Overall, this game is awesome. I love all of the mechanics, and it flows amazingly. I found this after scrolling through Apple Arcade, and after the initial download, I was hooked. The graphics seem similar to triple A games that you can get for a console or PC, but more of a sideswiping arcade game. I also love the music, as it flows through the whole game (I personally think that Tokyo’s music is the best), and I also enjoy the challenges that pro-skate has to offer. My only requests are that there are more cities to explore, and different parts of cities to explore, like you have the option to go in certain routes. I’d also like a few more grinds and tricks, but overall this game is amazing, and I would gladly recommend it to anyone who loves skateboarding.

Good but frustrating. I’m gonna keep this short and to the point. The game is very beautiful and fun to play around with. I love the grind of trying to 3 star every mission, but sometimes this game just isn’t clear with instructions and doesn’t give you must description on how to do certain tricks. Also, certain tasks say “kiss the rail” but there’s no tutorial on how to kiss the rail. On top of that, some tasks will say to do certain tricks in certain areas but there’s no clear description as to where you are on the map and that leads to a lot of guessing. One of my tasks says to Melon Grab the gap in Carlsbad, not knowing where the Carlsbad gap is, I melon grabbed over every gap in the map and still haven’t accomplished the task. 8/10 game but too many problems with description and tutorial to give it a 9 or 10.

This game is fun. This game is amazing, I’ve spent an unhealthy amount of time playing it and it’s so good I’m even writing a review. So if it’s so great, why four stars not five? Well it can be improved. First is the slam cam, I wanna see those gnarly bone breaking skull crushing ragdoll slams, but it fades to black as soon as it gets good. Two, a session marker, so you wouldn’t have to move the drop point every time and respawn where you want too. I also think more locations would be fun, so I don’t get bored and to familiar with the layouts, making the tutorial as another world seems like a good idea. The skaters style could also use some improvement, maybe customization like loose, angry, stiff, styles. And the last and most important thing BOARDSLIDES AND LIPSLIDES, where are they! It’s ridiculous they’re amazing tricks and key components to skating.

Beautiful, but really buggy. The game itself is beautiful and features some of the most recognizable spots in the skate world. The controls are pretty well done, which I found delightfully surprising. Soundtrack is great as well. On an aesthetic level I find this game very enjoyable. However... When playing the game my phone gets really hot and my battery drains very quickly If I play for more than about 10 minutes the game starts to drop frames, then eventually crashes I’ve fallen through the level geometry multiple times esp. at the small ramp down just before the fountain in Oslo. On a few occasions I have touched the restart button before a race has ended (when I can see clearly that I’m not going to win) but my character did a powerslide past the end flag. My character reset to the beginning of the race, but the game was still in the ‘race end’ state, so maybe a second went by and the screen overlay popped up with the race results, so I had to restart again. Lighting at night makes it nearly impossible to see certain obstacles The AI in the race and security chase challenges seems a bit unstable, making the challenges seem inconsistent and a frustrating in a way that seems unfair to the player. Unfortunately this is a trend in game dev recently. I can see how one or two of these things could slip by. But this game, in it’s current state, is not finished (please see App Store Review Guidelines)

I like the game but theres a bug that literally doesnt let you play. Snowman i dont wanna sound like a KAREN cuz duh im a male but please fix this problem theres a bug or glitch or maybe its just my phone but in order for me to run the game i have to pause my downloads turn off my wifi and bluetooth just so i could see the apple arcade logo im not forcing you cuz maybe its just my phone but its ok if you dont but if it is a bug or a glitch then i highly recommend fixing it or reading this review and trying to find the problem in the game files sorry if this bothers you but its ok maybe and i think its just my phone but if its not please fix it but all in all its a really good game 🛹🛹🛹 :)

An incredible game. Wow. FINALLY just three starred every challenge and I wish there were so many more! I learned so much about skateboarding through the callout challenges and I like how as you play you start to understand all the nuance at play. The cops in Miami are really speedy for some reason, but the hardest challenge for me was “gotta knock ‘‘em all” in Japan. But finally getting it was sick! SUGGESTIONS: I thought the music was a little lacking. It would be cool if the music was inspired by the area you are skating in. And I NEED more areas and more challenges. But if I never get them, that’s ok, this game has already provided so much. Thank you for this, best mobile experience I’ve ever had. Now I’m off to find something to fill the skateboard shaped void in my heart.

Control optimization. This game has the potential to be in amazing game. The downfall in this game is that asks for you to be almost perfect in your execution of tricks. As you get further into the game it gets progressively harder and do to the current control system, it gets really really really annoying. The stat system doesn’t feel like it makes a difference for the amount of points you have to spend to buy each bar. I leveled up my balance 3 bars and for some reason the balance is even more sensitive and I fall off easier, I hope they fix this, overall graphic are cool for a mobile game and soundtrack is pretty repetitive but solid for a skate game like this. I’m not saying don’t download, I am saying be ready to put in some hours fine tuning the control experience.

awesome but.... I mean I love this game but maybe 2 points to improve on: To jump on this; the system sometimes doesn’t recognize your move when you have performed it in a certain circle; this becomes particularly annoying when you are trying to finish off 7 or 8 moves in a row. Then here comes the issue with the restart button; it’s just too close to the center of upper screen; should definitely build it into the corner or give player the choice to reshape/relocate this; it’s just frustrating when you are almost done with the challenge and then you got everything restarted by accident

So solid. Please keep updating to keep it that way!. I want to start off by saying that this game is so so so amazing. I think the devs have done an incredible job. It made me realize that phone gaming can actually be fun and even a first choice now not just out of convenience. All that to say however, I decided to try it on iPad today and noticed for some reason that the beautiful graphics from the phone don’t translate to tablet. Everything was very pixelated. Not sure why the drastic difference, but I would love it if it were updated 🙏 these beautiful scenes deserve to bemarveled at and appreciated on the bigger screens too. And also new items/maps would be a super PLUS. Thx for making a sick game that is really great at chilling anxiety levels!

Please Add A Few Features. Overall this is really well made and a lot of fun. Please add overcrooks and feebles. You could do hold top left and top right for overcrook and bottom left and bottom right for feebles or something along those lines. There are a few strange bugs, none are majorly game breaking, but it won't register any grind input if you try to 360 into it, it almost always forces a 50-50, sometimes a slide if you over rotate. Would love to see that fixed, and there seems to be an issue with the character model if filming and you fall while doing a rotation the body bugs out and keeps rotating from the waist up when in the air doing a rotation after the initial fall. This bug only seems to be fixed from closing the app and re-opening. If feebles and overcrooks were added this would be 5-star for sure.

LOVE THIS GAME. I don’t play many games but this one is awesome and most true to what skateboarding is compared to the many other games out there. One thing that I don’t like about this game that I wish you all could fix is the crispness in the controls. When doing certain challenges and tricks on the nollie side, it’s never consistent to where you press. Some times you could do a trick perfectly in the challenge, but because of the bad controls, sometimes it doesn’t pick up whether you did it correct or not. That’s the only thing I don’t like. I know I’m doing the right thing but it says it wrong anyways. If you fix this and add more cool features, this game would definitely get a 5 out of 5 rating.

Amazing game with good mechanics. I really enjoy this game, the controls are simple but hard to master, skating feels fresh with how simplistic it is to do tricks. I really enjoy this game, however there are a couple of things I think would be really cool to see added. I would love more maps, maybe a busy street where you’re skating on the sidewalk, or one during the sunset. I also think it would be cool to have licensed artists music used in game, for example Tyler the creator, he has had a huge impact on skating and skate culture, even appearing once in a tony hawk game, I think it would be cool to tracks off of cherry bomb and flower boy and have them in game. It would also be cool to perhaps have odd future or golf le fleur items in game. Overall great game.

Good game, but can be a lot better. I believe this game is the best mobile representation of skating. I love how all the in-game locations feature real skating locations. The controls are fairly easy to use, especially if you have played the EA Skate games. I do believe, however, that this game can be vastly improved. First, having only three locations is fairly annoying. I get pretty bored fairly quickly because I’m so familiar with every location. Furthermore, I believe having a fisheye angle of the game would be a great feature to have. You can do this in the recording feature; however, switching to this mode gets rid of some features and ruins the normal gameplay. Finally, the skaters style is a bit ugly. When I land cool tricks, I’m often not impressed because nearly every trick is hideous in the game. I think the character is a bit too stiff and his hands/arms move a bit too much. Other than these small details, the game is extremely fun and beautiful. I would recommend this to any skater that needs to fill their EA Skate void.

Love and suggestions. I really enjoy this game sooo much! I love the way it looks, the relaxation of it, the realness of it, everything. I just wish that you guys had more girly clothes options. Like some skirts and maybe different body types. I kind of feel like the girl character is only representing the tom-boyish girls. I hope that isn’t coming off as I’m complaining cause I truly love love love the game. Everything is perfect. It would just be nice to style the girl in a girly girl way for the girls who are more skirts type of girls who skate :)) thank you so much for all you guys hard work on this game cause it’s amazing. Also, what if you guys add roller skates as an option. That would be so cool to do as well.

Best of Apple Arcade!. This app is one of the best games I’ve played on a mobile device/Apple TV. The graphics are nice without being too realistic or distracting. Levels and challenges are fun. Customization lets you bring a little of your personality to the game. Personally, I was dealing with tremendous anxiety and depression when this first launched in Apple Arcade. I would head to the Los Angeles map on endless mode and just skate to the amazing sound track. The combination of the music and weather changes(rain, fog, cloudy) was so calming. Got me through a tough time. Honestly a must have if you subscribe to Apple TV. I would rate this the #1 game on the platform. Keep up the great work dev team! Can’t wait to see any expansions/sequels or what you have next!

I love playing this game. The combination of the chill-laidback tracks, easy to learn and implement tricks, and how it seems I’m always skating at sunset is just the coolest. It’s very therapeutic for me. It’s like EA’s Skate, but made for iPhone. The way the progression system is set up always keeps me looking for another task to mark off the checklist. When I play, I prefer the touchscreen controls. I’ve used the controller (xb1, ps4, and nimbus. I’ve used all three) and I just can’t master that as easy. Normally, I prefer playing with a controller whenever possible. This just goes to show the developers put a lot of care into how the game will feel in your hand on a mobile device. When people ask me what they should try for Apple Arcade, Skate City is the first one I recommend.

Wonderful game but... It’s a wonderful game all around really the aspects are amazing and board movements are good as well. I would like to see more “legendary tricks” per-say like the hospital flip and things of the sort. An online mode containing like freeroam, races and challenges, head to head or group settings and more customizable trucks. There’s a very wide range and assortment on everything but the trucks. It would be nice to see a “customizable board” to where you have a preset decals and a rgb board to change the base color of the board and decals etc. this is a really great game that’s already high in the standard but still has so much room for potential, big props to the developer

I WANT MORE!!!. Ditto to all the other reviewers that hit the nail on the head with this game filling the current void of Skate games. Graphics, controls, etc are all high quality and intuitive. This game hits the sweet spot including an achievable yet challenging, but also engaging progression system that incents you to keep playing, but you don’t mind because it’s so much fun! The only complaint I have is that there aren’t more levels. Once I got through what the game had to offer in terms of levels I’ve rarely gone back, but I’m also patiently stalking the updates for new content because it was that good. Looking forward to more and highly recommend if you’re on the fence.

Kind of slow. I don’t have that much to add. It’s a fine side scrolling skateboarding game with a simple trick system, an endless run mode, and some challenges. The only reason I’m writing this review is because there’s one huge gripe that ruins the whole experience. So here it is: The worst part of skateboarding, in my opinion, is having to constantly push in order to keep moving. I guess the developers love this aspect because you can not do anything unless your right thumb is held on the screen. There is zero momentum and it just leads to a very unsatisfying experience. This is surprising because Snowman’s previous boarding game, Alto’s Adventure, had none of this. I guess it’s different since this game takes place in urban cities instead of steep hills but even then, normal skateboarding does not require this much pushing. The end result just makes the whole experience boring. I wish this wasn’t the case because I love Alto’s Adventure and I was so looking forward to Snowman’s newest outing but after this disappointment, I’m just looking forward to playing Where the Cards Fall. Im sorry, this just wasn’t my thing.

Update BUY GAME NOW. So I did like how the game you had to buy your upgrades and no adds, even tho that is just a Apple Arcade thing it doesn’t ask. You also know how games ask to rate the app, this app dose not do that. I am a young skater and this is a very accurate game, cops rarely witch makes it fun, and like if you hit something it will actually show what would happen in real life and not just a ‘’GAME-OVER” . It is definitely the best skater game that you can buy, I also don’t do these reviews a lot. BUY support him it takes about 790mg of storage and it’s worth it for kids and adults to get into skating. There is opsticals when you come across a cop and fun challenges. There is also different city’s and modes I hope this was helpful, BYE

Great game, need fixing.. On multiple occasions I’m unable to do the tricks in the 6-7-8pm times respective to the trick wheel. When I’m a challenge to do certain tricks in a row, the game glitches and won’t let my pull down on the trick wheel. Though it was my big phone case (I have an iPhone 13mini) but even after taking the case off, I’m still having this problem. The thing is, the trick wheel will fully work for a run or 2, then my next challenge I do I’m unable to pick the tricks on the trick wheel at 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm when comparing to a clock. This is for both FRONT and BACK of the board: ie: I can’t do a hard flip or a Nollie hard flip AT ALL and a few other tricks. Fix this and I’ll give 5 stars cause this is seriously frustrating for such a fantastic game. It’s physically unplayable when I’m on the hard flip trick challenge.

Beautiful game, but falls short. The graphics are very nice, colors and art style are this game's highpoints. If everything else matched the game's graphics this would be a 5 star review. The controls leave a lot to be desired while I initially liked how simple it was to swipe and land a trick its inherently frustrating during certain challenges which require specific tricks to be performed where one wrong swipe could end your line. The soundtrack is garbage, listen to your own music if you must and the sfx are generic and not the most pleasant. It's a great game to kill a few minutes with but as a whole gets boring very quickly. Not much replay value but it's decent playthrough. If you're an iPhone gaming veteran and looking for a worthy sequel to skate 3, this is not it.

Beautiful Game; Hard to Master. I am loving this. I grew up with Tony Hawk games and for them to be as popular with the millennials as they were, it seems kinda strange that there are absolutely no (or at least very few) sports games anymore for anything. Especially when it comes to snowboarding and skateboarding. I downloaded this just to try it out as I’ve gotten apple one now. And I have to say I’m quite amazed. The skating isn’t quite as free as a Tony Hawk game but I’m not gonna complain about it. It’s very relaxing and nice to look at. The music is great as well and it sounds fantastic over my HomePods. That said, it’s very hard. The controls are nothing like Tony Hawk games and that’s what I’m apparently trying to do when I skate. Manualing, for instance, just doesn’t feel right. I’m learning though. Just feels a little less intuitive than a Tony Hawk game. I also hope for more selections of hair. My guy looks kinda weird/ugly because skater customization is lacking. But all in all it’s a fun time waster. I can’t complain.

Good game marred by terrible controls. Well-designed game. The biggest problem is that sometimes it just won’t do the trick that I wanted it to do. Sometimes that even includes just pressing the “kick” button on the bottom right, or even holding it down—and the skater does nothing but stand on his skateboard. Other times I am properly doing the swiping for a particular trick but it simply does not register and the skater just stands still in the middle of a grind and falls. Over time this goes from a minor annoyance to a major irritant, especially as you progress through the game and become better at it. The “buttons” are supposed to be separated by the quarters of your screen (top right, bottom left, etc) but even that is not enough. Your thumb must be in a particular location in whichever quarter you swipe on, which is ridiculous. I notice that your thumb generally must be located more towards the center of the screen to start a trick properly. Considering we’re swiping on smooth flat screens with zero haptic feedback, it is counterintuitive to needlessly make the controls so stubborn by default.

LOVE IT, VERY WELL MADE!!!. Skating🛹, Music🎼, Scenery🏞, Challenging♟and Fun🎮 A+ Skate City is a fun skateboarding, side scrolling, arcade style game that legitimately had me hooked instantly. Learning new tricks, and completing each set of new challenges(AND GETTING ALL 3 ⭐️’s) is very satisfying. The games soundtrack consists of Hip-Hop instrumentals that vibe so perfectly, and totally fit this style of gameplay. IMO, Skate City’s artwork/sceneries feel right on point, they’re aesthetically pleasing but nothing over the top. Each level is an individual location with different backgrounds and layouts containing obstacles strategically placed throughout to allow players the ability to complete that set of challenges. As new challenges are unlocked I find the degree of difficulty level to level doesn’t increase too drastically, allowing players to progress somewhat seamlessly before reaching a point of frustration. Good game. Progression system is great. You can buy cool stuff right away but there is always more to unlock. The game play is good and utilizes the touch screen of the phone phenomenally. Skate city was made for the iPhone. This is how all mobile games should be like. Honestly you took something bad (mobile games) and used the phone to your advantage by making this game. The controls are inventive and it really makes it a pleasant game to play. The art style is great and give a skating type vibe. The customization is great and I can only hope other developers learn from this amazing game and create more games like it. Good job

Fun game, few bugs. I’ve really been enjoying the gameplay experience on Skate City. The tricks are fun to learn to do and the controls are not difficult to master. The challenges are fun especially the call out challenges. The graphics aren’t amazing but not bad so still enjoyable. My only gripe is I have been having a number of bugs. Sometimes the game refuses to go past the credits to the main menu even after quitting the app several times. Placing the skater can be stuttery or case freezing. Pretty awesome. It’s a good app for adventure and skill also attention to detail some of the challenges are Willy nilly but some are very in depth if not you could use some more maps as soon as I finish up all of the challenges in all of the maps then there is kinda nothing to do but still fun to play overall and if you want to play go right ahead but at first don’t just give up it is a little hard to understand at first just push through the first 10 minutes but yet again overall very good for Apple Arcade

Supporting an idea.. The person before has already said what I’m going to say, as well as many others, so I won’t make this too long. This is by far the best mobile skating game out there, no question about that. But everyone knows all great things can be made greater and this game is a prime example. As I said, the person before me suggested the idea of adding more city’s, and I support this idea 100%. New York is the addition I agree with most, but if you’re looking to add more city’s across the globe, there’s Tokyo, Rio, London, to name a few. I would like to see at least two more city’s in the next update, or any update if possible. Thank you for your consideration, have a good one. Edit: It would also be cool if you could add a little more grinds, such as a willy and salad, or possible just one extra grind, a boardslide. I don’t know how exactly you could make different controls for these grinds, so if it doesn’t get added I understand. All I really want is new city’s.

Great game, want more!. This game is really fun and the graphics and music are really satisfying. I feel like they have some people on the development team who actually like real-life skateboarding which gives this game a more authentic feel. I just wish there was more! It sounds like new maps are in the works which is great, but the maps and challenges currently are fairly quick to beat. The addition of Pro Skate was exciting because it provided something new and a lot more challenges-but I recently hit level 21 and it seems like that’s as high as it goes? I was thinking it seemed like a type of progression that you could level up through for a whole lotta time, but it’s not showing any new challenges when I start a Pro Skate round. Hopefully more level-up opportunities will be added to pro skate mode, and if not please do! Also, I would love to see pro skate added to the other cities that already exist in the game, as well as any added in the future! In short, I love the game (best iOS skate game), but am hoping for more maps, pro skate opportunities, and game!

It is so so so so so so fun and i’m trusting this is like the best you should definitely play it if you want because it is so interesting and fun to play you get to use these different tricks and if you want a skateboard they can actually help you but if you’re in trouble I can also help you, but it’s not that yeah it is so fun you just need to try it. I’m in love with this game and you try to like try to like move away and there’s different challenges as you do. Sometimes you don’t get good stars I just restart and it gets super easy and easy it’s like the best you need to try it oh yeah bye.

Please update. So basically let me start out with this I pay for Apple Arcade for this game and solely it! So I find myself torn at this point. This game is in desperate need of a update, the mechanics of the person a little out of tune, the trick selection needs to update there should be a flip trick to grab option, boardslide, lipslide, salad grind, feeble could easily be added since you sort of have these variations already in the game! There needs to be more options of play, 4 cities is not enough! And with the amount of time since adding Miami, is passed the honeymoon stage and now down right boring. Now I don’t even care if you add more cities but give us something fake spots would be a welcome change to things a endless skatepark I don’t know but something needs to be done!

Recommend 🤩🤩🤩. Best game on the Apple Arcade! If you like all sports I would recommend getting skate city and “Big Time Sports” Both of these games are very entertaining. My favorite part of skate city is that you can take videos of your character skating by tapping the camera button and you can change your avatar by going to the right of the button to play and you can buy (with fake money from the game) new hair/hair colors, shoes, skateboard, wheels, and other stuff. Big Time Sports also has cool features like it gives you a daily challenge for instance today’s was high diving. The weird thing about Big Time Sports is that the characters are all very very VERY FAT! And you cannot customize your avatar, it changes the character randomly for every sport on the game. But I really really recommended the games! 👍👍👍 GO DOWNLOAD IT NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

amazing game. i recently got into skateboarding and played a bunch of the tony hawks games and i wanted to see what ios had to offer. i found tons of games, there were good games, like skate party series, but i also check out the linear games, and found tech deck and a few others. i checked most of them out, and the graphics of the game appealed to me so i check it out. turns out it’s better than tech deck. by a lot. the graphics in this game are amazing, the music relaxes me, and everything about it is very good. i just have one issue. when i’m doing challenges, sometimes when i perfectly land a trick, it does not register and says that i failed it even though i did it perfectly. also sometimes the trick slider thingy disappears and i have to relaunch the game. overall great game, scenery is incredible and have never seen a skating game this smooth this game would go into my top 3 skating games list. close battle between THUG pro and this game. but i think they are tied up. also pls add more maps. 4 maps is just not enough and want at least 9 maps. i would also love for a open world mode, where you can skate in the background, like the thps games. if this happens, this game would go number 1 spot on my skating games list.

This Game is… Stunning!. I have been playing this game for a little under 2 weeks now and I am loving it. This game is truly a splendid work of art. If there was a bit more avatar customization options in the skate shop, I think I would love this game all the better. This game truly speaks for itself in terms of appeal and control and I completely respect the developers of the game who made it so darn accurate as I have been skating for a sizable portion of my life. This game is one of my personal favorites on mobile and I’m very exited to see even more in the future!

Relaxing / rewarding / beautifully built skateboarding game that all skaters need to play!. i truly love all aspects of this game ( i have skateboarded for 20 years out of 27 years on this earth ) I truly look forward to see what else gets added to this game. I would love to see more maps / longer maps and more in depth challenges ( the challenges are so much fun ) but would love to see more challenges added to each map. Only thing i could think to add to this game is more camera angles for when your skating, i love the film mode & think it would be cool to be closer to skater while skating / more options in that realm & not just filming, maybe even a angle offset to the right or left of the skater while playing. More camera angles would be cool too!. Would be so rad to add some maps focused more on transition style skating like bowls, quarters etc, & add transition tricks to the game. As person who has worked in the skate & snow industry for most my life, this is the only skateboarding phone game that i would recommend to my homies. You guys created an absolute masterpiece & truly excited to see what comes next for this game. Please continue to push development ideas & creativity towards this game. Listen up. So i really really like this game but... it needs some changes. First i would say that you should earn in game credits in higher amounts as the challenges become more difficult and require more upgrades. The challenges should increase in difficulty as you compleat them per map starting with #1 as the easiest and getting harder as you compleat more challenges. When you go to/buy a new map the difficulty needs to reset with the easiest starting at 1 again. As i mentioned before, skate cred (in game currency) needs to have a progression in amount you earn when completing harder challenges. This is especially important seeing as YOU made it necessary to upgrade your stats to compleat harder challenges. This way of getting through the game is fine for a mobile game as long as the amount of skate cred you earn increases alongside the higher cost of upgrades and cosmetics. Good game but i would take these things into consideration. Sorry if it was long and wordy. Thanks.

Good app, needs work. I’ve done game testing for a skate app before, I’m not a professional by any means. That being said, I love this game and the way they put it together for the most part. I give it three stars only because the controls lack... control. If you don’t perform the trick in complete perfection then it doesn’t count for your score. The trick bubble is too small for how the areas are set up, I do like a game that is challenging. However when I have to try a simple trick 10x’s over because the development wasn’t tested as much as it should’ve been then it becomes frustrating and not as fun. I don’t want to take away from the developers by any means, I just think they could have taken their time with the opening of this game. I’m hoping to change this to a 5 star as soon as I can. Good luck with the updates! Make us proud.

Modern day Skate but simplified for mobile..... To start off.... This game is amazing. The controls are simple to learn yet hard to master. The game offers endless hours of fun if you love skateboarding and love to work on lines and perfecting style. While the game is fun, there are a few areas that could be improved on such as adding momentum and a bit more control in film mode. One of my favorite features in the popular Skate franchise was the instant replay feature, while this game does feature a filming mode, you are very limited to the angles and control over the clips. Adding the ability to film, rewind and move camera around afterwords would greatly improve this mechanic. I look forward to futures updates and will keep playing this game till my thumbs go sore....

Disappointing after a while and impossible to upgrade. Beat the game pretty quick and whats the point of putting things that are impossible to acquire? Gold trucks? Clothing ? Why keep playing for coins if there aren't enough and since there is zero updates from developers its seems clear that there wont be anymore levels. Its just frustrating that the game its impossible to finish so whats the point of the game?? To play till the end to half finish? Cant think of any game that every single mission/challenge its accomplished and not even half of upgrades are open. And going around the level for endless loops its the most boring monotonous challenge i ever had to finish, specially in a game with glitchy controls. Seriously if i knew that finishing challenges would be pointless i wouldn't even had try. Also some people skate goofy and that is something every skate game has the option to customize. Also no way to change the camera angle. In conclusion for something so highlighted and pushed in the AppStore skatecity its an unfinished, repetitive game with zero point to complete the challenges.

Amazing, but touch controls aren’t adequate for the technicality of some of the tricks.. Especially for the line challenges, it really helps to have an Xbox One controller hooked up. On the other hand, some moves are much harder with the controller than with touch controls. With touch, the balance mechanic is much more forgiving and special tricks that utilize the upper two quadrants of the touch screen are MUCH easier than trying to get them right with the bumper buttons on the Xbox One controller. Mix and match for best results. I ADORE this game. Whenever I get frustrated, I put it down for a while, but then I’m back at it—trying to nail a line or challenge that had previously bested me. Please make a sequel or add content!

Replays filming. I love the edits you can make with tricks but sometimes I get annoyed because I have to change the views and add slow motion then turn it off while I’m trying to do the trick I want, it would be so good to be able to record the trick then do the film editing with the same features!

Its glitched. Theres an obstacle in the game that has like a wooden ramp that you go up to get over it, but i keep going through the ramp and then crashing into the obstacle.

I have descended down- glitch👾👾👾. I found a glitch and now I’m just decending down beyond like, uhhh.... I think 5 meters and I just jump... there are two spots where I found this had occourred, First is in the first part, what I did was a manual... and the road ramp said brick wall I’m stupid so I don’t know that much but I can tell you it’s in the first part wen doing endless! It’s that ramp with a brick. Apparently it is now impossible to get the laps achievements! It is impossible to jump over! My worst favourite game... As a person that skates, this is hands down my favourite game that exists on the App Store. The movement the the controls everything is so beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. I could play it for hours and hours I remember playing a beta like version, skate lines, when it came out and it was gone all of all of a sudden and I thought I’d never see it again. Then this came out. This polished, worked on version is the skate game I wanted to play on the App Store for years. I can see how much work that has been put into this game and it hurts me because of this reason it’s on arcade.... I don’t play games on my iPhone other than this and true skate. I would but this game if it was 20 dollars in a heartbeat if I could buy if one off. But I don’t want to pay $7 a month. That’s $84 a year just to play one game on arcade. Please please please is there any possibility that you can put it on the App Store for a fixed price? Yours truly.

If you skate you’ll really like this game. (Developers see bottom for suggestions) For a mobile game, a skateboarding game at that, it’s extremely fun and actually very well made. The character movements are quite realistic, almost more so than EA Skate games. And what I like about this game which every other skate game always gets wrong, is if you do a backside or frontside flip it will actually say “frontside flip” “Nollie backside heelflip” “fakie frontside bigspin” bigspin flip/heelflip or bigger spin flip, Gazelle Flip etc. Not like every other game that’s like kick flip fs 180, nollie heelflip bs 180, Varial flip bs 180 lol. Also, when doing tricks the board doesn’t snap up and flip super fast and then is glued to the characters feet. Nah, the kick flips for example will actually tweak a bit so the back is higher than the front (slightly) and it moves a bit in front of him and just looks clean af and steezy! Real skaters will know what I’m talking about. If you play it tho, make sure to find a spot you wanna skate with the session marker, and then click the little camera in the top left corner and then switch the camera view to the close up that’s behind him like in a skaters part in a video except it’s higher in the game. It’s for recording videos to sell to the sponsor but you can just leave it on as long as you want and if you fall or wanna re skate a line just hit the refresh button and it brings you back to where you started. Some suggestions I have for improvements: -Let us adjust the grid lines on our screen of where to swipe for the normal tricks and the special tricks cause I mess up sometimes trying to do a line on a small phone screen and do the wrong trick. As well as letting us move the push button and slo-mo buttons and resize them to our liking. -Create a session marker we can place and just quickly snap back to instead of the drag skater option. I know you can start recording sponsor videos and just use that as a session marker to quickly snap back to but then you gotta watch out for the slo-mo button. -Fix the Melon Grab spins cause right now if you do a Melon and like a 360 or 540 his arm glitches through his legs and just looks all messed up lol -Add Forward flips, reverts while skating, like instead of sliding the push button to the left for the power slide stop, we slide it to the right and he’ll just do a quick revert if you land switch and wanna change back or you wanna hit something switch but you’re in your regular stance. -This one might be nit picking lol, but let us choose the way we want to skate cause right now all there is is Regular, no Goofy. Even tho I skate Regular, I was thinking for the people who skate goofy but everything says “switch” if they wanna skate that way always. -If the above was changed, maybe change the Kickflip and Heelflip directions cause right now with skating regular, sliding up to the right makes him do a kickflip, but if you think in terms of having the trick control directly behind your skater (he’s skating vertical to it) if you slid your foot up to the right he would technically do a heelflip. And if people get to choose to skate Goofy as their normal stance, then this would mean sliding up to the right would be a kickflip. I dunno maybe this one would be too confusing tho for a mobile skate game lol.

Pocket skate. If u played skate 3 to get through the story and play the missions and contests this might not be for you (cause from what I hear ppl like that may find a lack of challenge or variety) But if you played skate to fill the void in your heart of not constantly being able to skateboard or not being able to skateboard at the highest level this game is for you. Minor suggestions. Great game. Very well made, I have some minor suggestions though. The recording is in low quality. I would up the quality to to 1080, or 4K the slow motion button when your recording is often in the way of where you would have your finger to control the tricks you do. Fun but flawed. Fun game for sure (great art, concept) but accuracy of detecting my moves is poor. It often doesn’t register the move I’m trying to do correctly and does something else. Also (and more frustrating) is when I switch to the home screen or another app and come back the game starts over again. And as previously stated in another review the startup animations take way too long. In fact transitioning between screens is too long which equally frustrating when the app can’t resume after multitasking.

Very good game i have no complaints (PLEASE READ DEVELOPERS). So first of all i wanna say this is one of my fav arcade games and you guys have really outdone yourselves. Also very addicting and good quarantine game. So first I wanna get into this, can you guys add all of the tricks into one? Because sometimes, when it says swipe up to do an ollie or something, it just marks it wrong and I get confused with it so if you guys can make that change it would be very helpful. Also im just gonna add these suggestions: new character skin update, more maps, story mode, and custom skaateboards.

Balance Bar. The whole balance thing I don’t mind, it brings that tony hawk pro skater vibe to the game but it’s pretty annoying when it comes to doing challenges. I’ll have a good combo going on and then as soon as I hit a ledge the balance bar automatically goes to red and messes up my score. Maybe you guys could adjust it a little so other people who play have a better chance of getting a higher score as well??

Great Awesome Cool And Fun!!!!!!. This game is sooooooooooo fun. I ❤️the way that you can record your character while her or she is skateboarding and then you can go into slow mo mode while your doing wicked cool jumps and stuff. The rap music is great, and I never get tired of it. Even though I just downloaded the app just last night, It is still the best game I’ve ever played in the history of the world!!! Fantastic. Honestly love this game so much, i downloaded it i think when it first came out or was still fairly new and I’ve absolutely enjoyed it so much it’s a really nice game to enjoy on a nice day off. I do wish there was more clothing options but i just like changing things up every 5 mins pretty much. Still an amazing game 10/10 i recommend to everyone

Amazing. Probably the best mobile skateboarding game ever, and I’d say in the top 10 best skateboarding games ever. Everything just flows so nice and it’s easy to get lost in multiple runs. This game is the only reason I have Apple Arcade and it has swayed my decision in buying another iPhone after playing skate lines for a long time. I really hope eventually your contracts end and you guys can expand to other platforms because more people should be able to purchase this beautiful game.

grinding bug. so um... the game works all the way up until the grinding part of the tutorial. when it says click the pop out of grind i click it and it just pulses while playing background music. but my guy stays on the ledge. really would like this fixed seeing as it was the only reason i got apple arcade in the first place. edit: ok ao i juat reloaded the game 3 times and now it seems to work. what u need to do in the tutorial is wait for it to ask u to pop onto the ledge. if it asks u to then now it KNOWS ur on the ledge. sorry kinda answered my own question. 5 stars now lol

I love it but there are a few issues. I love the game it is super fun. But you should put all the tricks in the trick guide. Also in Miami there are some elevated sidewalks and then my person goes through the side walk and falls. But, other than that I have had no problems with the game and it is super fun and relaxing 😌. P.S. Could you add different difficulty levels so there is an easier and a harder. Also please add more city’s. 1 more thing, when you fall it looks like you died please make the falls less dramatic.

Good concept. The concept of the game is pretty good but when I downloaded the game I expected it to be a relaxing game... boy was I wrong. The challenges do not work half of the time such as in one of the line challenges I had to do an ollie and then a manual. However the game did not count my switch ollie and manual which is utterly ridiculous. Or when i has to link 2 grinds together with a manual and when I did a manual over 5m it would not count it even though the level has a perfect pad for doing so. This game is loads of fun but doing the challenges and then the game not counting my tricks makes me want to quit the game altogether.

A Game that I’d never expect to Play.. I’ve been skating for 2 Years, And I’ve online skated in some games like Roblox, but THIS is something different. I think the Devs deserve a Pat on the Back, and Its very Easy to learn. I don’t know if I would consider this game some sort of Zen, but it has that feel. And as I’ve typed out this Review. I’ve only been Playing it for A DAY. It’s Addicting I tell you, You just kinda get a feel and BOOM, your off Grinding your way to Glory in this Game. This does deserve to be on Apple Arcade. Good Job Devs, Good Job.

Tricks. I think the concept of this game is amazing and I think they were very close to having it done well. But this game is terrible when it comes to reading directions that I swiped in. This is shown especially in the “blunt line” challenge. I even double checked to see if I was swiping in the right direction by screen recording myself playing and just lifting my finger it change my trick completely. I think this is more than a major flaw especially since it was done correctly. The game is good but the execution is not complete, major update needed.

Looking forward to the growth of this game. I really love this game, and I know it hasn’t been out very long so it’s hard to be too critical just yet. However my only complaint from a game perspective is you lose momentum at a faster than normal rate. Once you build momentum to do a line of tricks you only have a couple seconds before you come to almost a dead stop. I’d like to see the skater roll for a bit longer after doing a solid 5-10 pushes. But overall such this is my favorite arcade game

As a Skateboarder, I APPROVE. Hands down, one of the BEST iterations of skateboarding for iOS and iPad OS, PERIOD. The attention to detail and realistic mechanics really help captivate the the hand eye coordination that actually go into the endless sessions of battling a trick or filming a line. The levels, the thought into the obstacles, even the soundtrack have an easy, addictive flow to it that make you entranced to, well, JUST KEEP SKATING. Hope to see more updates to this VERY, VERY soon.

Meh…. Ok this game is great but their is SOOOO much more potential. I thought this was like for example True skate (different skating game) but this game is free and fun I wish you could move more freely like … Control yourself to different places to grind and do tricks it’s also easier than using the marker to place your guy . But, visuals are Amazing 🤩 especially for a mobile game !Another thing I would like in this game is more tricks. But overall it’s pretty good 👍 give it shot.

Difficulty. For Miami, some of the challenges are wayyy too challenging for people buying their 2nd/3rd map. One of them tells the player to do 4 types of manuals in a combo which takes mad crazy timing to do all four in one combo. THREE TIMES. Another challenge includes doing 2 special tricks along with 2 manuals. At first, I would do a melon grab-nose manual-impossible-manual but that kind of timing is wayyyyyy out of my league for me buying my 3rd map. Insanely difficult game.

Love it for killing time. my only gripe is it’s really short. it’s fun once you master tricks or find your favorite combo, but after completing the game that’s really it. hopefully more to come! i do recall a multiplayer i believe last year when the game was still in development. i guess my wish list would be more cities, though i have feeling there won’t be, and hoping to that multiplayer aspect wasn’t scrapped. that would be very cool, even though i completed everything i still love to play it as a zen kind of game to occupy my mind and kill some time

It’s like SKATE4 for your phone!. Out of all the skateboard games available for mobile play, this is by far the best I’ve ever seen. As a professional cinematographer who started in the skate industry, I’m stoked that you can film lines and get rewarded and share. I also lived in LA / Venice for ten years and skated the pork chop and the the sand gaps every day back in the early 2000’s. So playing the LA level takes me back to a simpler time. Only thing is that I want more! More levels, more tricks, more camera view options. Last but not least, keep up the great work dudes, this game is legit AF!

Love! Just one suggestion.... One suggestion I would like to throw out there is that once you have maxed out your stats, it would be nice to then be able to tweak the settings accordingly instead of starting off casual and being stuck on hyper mode the rest of the time. In a way, if I could just slow some riding down, I wouldn’t feel like my Switch FS Flips need to start one and a half car lengths before the stair set.

Chill, fluid, and fun. I'm not a skater, but I've played a fair amount of skating games. Skate City is like Tony Hawk by way of lofi hip hop. With a simple-ish control set that lets you focus on stringing huge combos together and cool locations with plenty of grind and trick spots, it's all about flow. I'd like to see Pro Skate come to the other levels, and more levels in general, but as it is, Skate City is one of the few Apple Arcade games I keep coming back to.

Almost there. This game is addicting. Very addicting. I’ve followed this game since the start and can’t believe it’s finally here. Amazing visuals and super smooth controls. I just wish that this game didn’t feel so small after years of development. I’m sure more is to come but i thought more would be available at launch. Tiny things like i don’t like how you can’t switch your stance. That should just be a given to choose your default stance. Maybe a few more levels? I do find myself doing the same thing over and over

Amazing Game! A few suggestions though.. This is the best skating game on mobile, no doubt about it. And definitely worth the 5 dollars a month on arcade. I detect this being my number one game of 2022. However-like many people have said-MORE CITIES!!!! Also a good idea would be to have a skate park where there would be ramps to get more hang time which would mean MORE TRICKS IN ONE JUMP!!! I know this probably won’t get recognized but say this idea as many times as you can just so they can see this. Happy Skating!

Literally one problem. One of my favorite Apple Arcade apps. This game is really fun not loads of content but if your on a road trip, got time to kill, or just plain bored this game is great. The mechanics of this game are super easy and you don’t have to grind for hours to get good. Now for the one flaw in the customization the hair, I personally don’t like them that’s it to be honest; because that’s a personal opinion this game is 5 stars.

Hands down the best skateboarding game right now. Until Skate releases a new game, this is the best skating game on the market. Sorry Tony Hawk, I know you broke your femur but you made enough money from us pretend skateboarders so I feel like it’s time for you to move on and let somebody else line their pockets for a while. Great graphics, intuitive controls, and awesome levels - I can’t get enough of it! If you can’t do the math by now, I can’t help you anymore. Download and enjoy.

Best Skating Game Since THPS. I haven’t played a good skating game since the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series on the Dreamcast...until now. The graphics and animations fit perfectly with the soundtrack. I become comfortable with the controls in 2 minutes and was pulling off all sorts of tricks. You can free skate and mess around or try and complete the numerous challenges. There is plenty to do and it’s a fun way to spend 10-15 minutes. Everything combines for a very satisfying experience without the distraction of poor controls or out-of-place music.

Big problem.. It took a little while to first load in, too long for me having just purchased an iPhone eleven, and as soon as I start the tutorial my character is inside the the ground and then suddenly disappears leaving me unable to do anything. I didn’t even play the game yet and if you are going to advertise Apple Arcade as much as you do you shouldn’t have a big glitch like that in the part of the game where the player decides whether or not they will actually play the game. Very disappointed that a company as big as Apple can have a glitch this big. That being said I will resume playing the game to see what it’s like, but so far, I’m disappointed.

Needs work. This game would be four or five stars all day if the controls were fixed. I've gotten through almost 80% of this game in two or three weeks and what keeps me from closing it out is the weak iphone screen controls. I know which diagonal swipe I'm making, which corner I'm tapping, but it registers as something else. Its infuriating to say the least. I may cancel the arcade subscription altogether until Apple gets this right. If I have to have a controller for phone based platform I have no need for it. Right now that seems the only option on some of these games.

Addicting & Challenging But..... Ive been waiting for a game like this for so long. Reminds me of skate 3. Very challenging at times but if you binge play it you can beat it in two days. Haha. You will lose track of time and your blood pressure will rise with frustration. The reason for the three stars is because I feel like you’ll pay the 4.99 to get the game through the arcade but it will never have any new content. They should integrate a park creator and they should have it so endless skate shows you how many points you get for your tricks/combos. With all this being said I would still do the month free trial to test out the game.

Relaxing and so well executed. Such a smooth and fun game to play. Love the sound design and versatility of tricks. My favorite thing to play to decompress at the end of the day. I completed all the challenges and look forward to seeing updates (new cities wpuld be my number one request — NYC, please). One point of feedback: The guy’s mannerisms can be awkward at times, especially when starting out. I’m nitpicking though, this game is so good. Congrats to the team who pulled this off.

Great game!. The game is fun. Limited tricks but they got the best ones in the game in my opinion. I found myself running through the challenges in a ea Skate combo fashion to get the higher scores. But that’s a means to get money to level up. Then another aspect is the camera mode that you can change the camera angle and hit the slow mo button. I will just turn that on and skate the whole level in that mode. Not a skater replacement but a very good addition to the skate game genre! Congrats guys👏

Very fun game. A few ideas.. I have never skateboarded in my life and do not plan on doing so, but this game is fun. The graphics are beautiful and the physics are realistic. I only have 2 suggestions: 1-Please add a multiplayer option. For multiplayer there should be 2 options: 1-racing against random players or friends, and 2- a timed game where the player with the most points wins. Suggestion 2: please add more cities. I have bought all the cities and completed challenges for most of them. Ideas of cities you can add are NYC, London, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Moscow, Casablanca, Cape Town, and Mumbai. Thank you for reading, I think these updates would make the game even better than it already is.

Best game on the arcade in my opinion, sooo good and realistic.. Soooo great! Much needed! Beautiful and pretty realistic, anyone who skates or has skated will be hooked. Especially if they were a fan of the ea skate games, controls are similar and make sense. Takes like 5 minutes to get used to, but they totally make sense and also are realistic. A new skate game has been need and it is here💪💪💪💪💪 also play with a controller! I haven’t played any other way, but I’d buy this game for a console if it wasn’t on here. Made my day🤙🤙🤙

Good Game, Named a Trick Wrong. My original review aside, I really do like this game, its a great time passer. I play it frequently and I do recommend it to anyone who plays skating games, they are few and far between and It is much better than the competition. The dev responded and it means alot that he cares about this game which means it will only get better. Original Review “In 2009 Rob Dyrdek made a movie calles Streat Dreams. In that movie P. Amazing, nice and calm. Love this game so much. I really like to play this game when I’m relaxing on the couch. It has lots of cool and amazing things you can do, from endless skating, customization, tricks and more! I really recommend this game a lot. Also what I would like to see in a future update is on endless skate, you can have cops chase you endlessly until you quit. That would be amazing. Developers did an amazing job on this game. 10/10

Great game just barred behind Apple Arcade. Had been following this game closely for a long time waiting for its release, plays just as good as I always thought it would however the fact it’s only playable through Apple Arcade is very disappointing to say the least but mechanically and content wise it is very well put together and there’s plenty of stuff to do.

Best mobile skate game, but.... This was really fun, but then I beat it within a few days. So I reset my progress and then beat it again faster. For some reason it also still says I haven’t gotten the achievement for completing all the Miami goals even though I did. Also the mechanics are just a little strange sometimes, like if you’re going really fast one gap will take away basically all the speed. It would be nice to just go fast sometimes. I hope there are updates because I do love this game, there’s just not enough to do.

The best. Honestly the best game I’ve ever played on my phone. Seriously play everyday day. I’ve always played skate games my whole life and even skateboard my self and have always craved a good skateboarding app and have never been happy until now. Controls and gameplay are amazing. I’m still giving this 5 stars cause it’s the best but I really hope they add new city’s in the near future. Also I think it would be tight if they added real skate brand gear to the skate shop.

Feedback. This is a great game. However, why does it look low quality on my iPad? The trailer you have to showcase the game isn’t near the same as the gameplay, graphic wise. (It looks okay on my iPhone.) Also, why does it rain in this game haha. People don’t skate in the rain. I mean, it looks cool. But that was a weird decision to include. Can we adjust the day and night cycle? Night is too dark. I’d rather just keep it on day time so I can actually see. Can we remove the huge slow mo button in the filming mode? It’s right in the way. Can we get the zoom feature outside of filming mode as well? Even during challenges. Without it, the character is too small. And since I’m using my iPhone so that the graphics look acceptable, he’s even smaller. Some areas at certain times of day you can’t see anything. Like the cement benches in Barcelona. Anyways, everything else you guys did right! This is a fun game and I enjoy it very much. Please consider my feedback.

Character customization. Though I love the general skating/action that the game has, I feel like the character customization is limited, especially with hair and more specific face options. I understand that when you’re playing you’re character doesn’t show much, however it would be cool to see more stuff like that added in.😁😁

Okay for 5 minutes, then unplayable. It was decently entertaining right after downloading, but then I learned of the absolutely terrible finger-tracking. When you need to go absolutely try-hard to beat challenges (which is also ridiculous and only happens after completing <20 challenges), you will see that the game has a very difficult time keeping up with fast changes in finger positions and tricks. It becomes extremely frustrating and makes you spend hours on single challenges that would only require one attempt with actual usable finger-tracking.

Super fun and super addicting!. Positives: I absolutely love this game. I’m always playing it when I’m waiting at the doctor office, the dentist, in between class. I’m always on it trying to complete the challenges. I’ve even erased all of my accomplishments to start the game over and beat it three times. Negatives: The game is REALLY short. There’s only 4 maps or “parks.” I really wish they had more spots so it wasn’t over so quickly. Also the coloring effects in the main menu and skate shop makes it really hard to see the different colors of clothing items. All the dark color items look exactly the same until you start playing. Same with the graphics on the decks. You can’t tell if it’s wood or gold? Not a big deal at all just thought I mention it. But I do wish they had more maps. And more features in the maps. There’s a few maps where there’s really long sections of just nothing. So it can get a little dull. Overall SOLID game! 4/5 stars for me. ADD MORE MAPS PLEASE!!

Tons of fun! Controller recommended.. I could play this game for hours it’s so fun! My only problems with it would be the level design and the touchscreen. Some of the very specific tricks feel impossible using the touchscreen and that makes the challenges really frustrating. Another thing that makes the challenges frustrating is the level design. On some of the challenges with a timer, you have to skate for several seconds just to get to the first challenge. Overall a very fun, well made game.

I want to like it. This game is pretty polished, I like all the customizations for your character, it’s not too hard to get the in-game currency. There’s just one issue- the game is boring. I got through the first map’s challenges and found myself more interested in buying clothes for my character than actually playing the game. The challenges switch things up a bit with the races and whatnot, but for the most part every time you play it’s just swiping the screen in different ways to do different tricks. I guess the game may be fun if you’re into skateboarding, but not the actual act of skateboarding, just seeing skateboard tricks.

Fun but........ Having tried most of the skateboard games on iOS this one and touch grind are by far the best. This game has great graphics, flawless play and is generally fun. Touch grind is better by far for one reason. The 2 stars is for having to buy tricks. I can free play for hours on touch grind knowing if I get the move right I can do any trick offered in the game. I have no interest in doing mindless activities to earn gold to open up new parks or tricks. Skating is about fun and freedom. If I want to grind out like that in a sporting game I’ll play madden. In summary-great potential but falls short due to limited tricks. You have to buy touch grind. I think it was $2.99 but for hours of fun just skating and doing tricks it’s by far a better game.

Hella Chill Relaxing Game. For someone who barely plays games on their phone I found this game to be soothing for my mental health. It’s a vibe especially when listening to music. I guess it’s because the experience almost feels as if you are the one skating through different settings. I look forward to seeing new places on the map, another thing I suggest is making this available to play with other friends, it would be dope!

From someone who skates. Just want to start off saying this is a god tier mobile game. This is honestly my favorite mobile game I’ve ever played. It doesn’t give the exact feel of what skating feels like but that’s not what I would expect from a mobile game. The controls feel awesome especially with a controller and I haven’t experienced a single bug after a full day of playing. 10/10 would recommend.

Awesome game loving it so far but .... This is an awesome game. For someone who has been skating for a majority of their life but has an office job at the same time this game is so fun. Taking breaks in between work calls is awesome when I’m doing ghetto birds over huge staircases. The only thing about this game is that it made me start over after the first time I played but I guess that was because of WiFi issues so I still gave it 5 stars. Overall great game bummed that it didn’t save my stats but I didn’t play for long. Now it’s working just fine but this is so cool everyone try it.

‘Pro skate’ Challenges are poorly thought out. Games pretty awesome, but yields a low review for the poorly designed ‘Pro Skate’ challenges. For some reason they just don’t have the necessary obstacles in the zone to complete the tasks. Had to play 45 rounds of Tokyo to see a single ‘lucky cat’ challenge is to do two perfect kick flips over ‘lucky cats’ that just don’t spawn/exist. Same goes for escape security guards, I’ll often go over 1000m without seeing a single guard, much less 3. The skate pro rounds need to have objects of the associated challenges implemented so it’s not just a false free skate.

Fun at first.. Ok, I dug this game at first. It was fun to skate around. Then, the problems arrived. First, many times, you do a trick and it does not do the correct one. Second, some challenges are impossible. Like one, you have to 360 over three gaps, then do a specific grind three times. The problem is, there are only so many places to do those. So, your just left to ride around unable to complete a challenge. Three, I hate that every time I want to restart, I have to go back to the challenges menu. Why not just have an option to restart? It would save time. If the controls were way better, you had the choice to just restart the level, maybe just let you skate around, letting you go back to a grind, I would much more like this game. I have all three worlds done. The first, I have three out of three stars on all but the last few. As you go up, it gets harder to get all the stars. It is for the reasons I said. Oh well.

Unresponsive. So what I mean by unresponsive is when I do one of the challenges that requires you to do a certain stunt, it’ll count it wrong even if you do what it tells you to do. It’ll tell me for example, swipe down on the left side and tap on the right side, I literally do the exact stunt it shows me in the picture and it’ll count it wrong. Why does does it count it wrong even though I’m doing exactly what it says on the picture!? It shows me to swipe down, I swipe down, nope somehow it’s wrong 😑. Please fix this bug, I’m tired of restarting levels and getting stuck on them just for this.
