Works Great. I am using it with BiasFX. I does everything it needs to do. I use a volume pedal into the Blueboard for a wah pedal.

Pairing Issue. I appear to be having a pairing issue with my device. It may be specific to my device and not the fault of app. I’ve installed the app and attempted to pair it with my 5s, but the device will not pair with my handset. I’ve tried to pair with my iPad mini and iPad 3 Retina only to have same issues. Same issue with my MBP 15R. If it is device specific, I hope IK will make good on their customer support.

Audiobus support. I've had constant disconnection issues between the bluboard and my iphone 6+ when using the blueboard app and audiobus. I've contacted ik multimedia support and never got anywhere. I even bought a more updated version of the blueboard thinking it would fix the issue and it still disconnects. I love this device. I'm not going to give it a poor rating just please update the app so I can use it!

Crashes in iOS 9. Please update this app inmediately.

Works for me. Once the firmware is updated the board can be used without the app. The app is necessary sometimes and works as advertised and expected. Very nice actually

“Manual not found” ???!. Help button > user manual > file not found After seemingly endless repeating product registration hamster wheel, finally got into the Blueboard. I followed the instructions to download the hardware manual, but it only works online, and intermittently at that. “403 Forbidden” is the frequent result. Then I download the app and have to go through registration hamster wheel AGAIN. Then I go to the menu for the software MANUAL and get “manual not found” Jeez. I think this company is primary income stream is in selling user data. It certainly isn’t in producing a good customer experience.

Update iOS 9 bug. Cannot connect pedal after iOS 9 update. Please fix this problem. It has been over 12 days. Unacceptable. Please update this or buy my pedal back since I have no use for it.

Complicated and inconsistent. I was excited to use this to record and play loops from loopy - it is really difficult to program, it doesn't work for Garageband like they claim it does. I wasted money on the stomp box and more on amplitude and all that crap. Ik multimedia basically baits and switches you into products that don't live up to their promises. And they nickel and dime you for every tiny piece of software they can. It pisses me off everytime I dust this junk off and kid myself into thinking me and my son can have some simple backing tracks that we can toggle through. Disappoints EVERY time. Don't waste your time and money like I have.

Why I didn't give it 5 stars..... Because I can't change the percentage of what knob I want to tweak...if I assign a pad to control the volume on amplitude or any other program the pad will either cut the volume on or off..period....what if I only want to cut down 50% though?

Total Ripoff. I can't believe this company. This is the second product that I purchase, and it doesn't work. I've been using all kinds of musical and computer equipment for almost 20 years. This is garbage. It never connects. This device made for the iPad and iPhone and iMac NEEDS WINDOWS to update the driver, because clowns run this company. Now I have to deal with the second product I have to return from this godforsaken, gremlin-owned craptastic company. May they sink into the depths of hell.

Does not work with iOS 9. The app crashes as soon as it receives a signal from the BlueBoard device.

Horrible beyond belief. For Christmas, my kids bought me this company’s iRig BlueBoard (foot pedal), iRig Midi Interface and iRig Microphone together with a suite of relevant software (AmpliTube, etc.) Nothing worked. And, perhaps I should explain that for 40 years I was a professor of mathematics and cognitive science at Northwestern, UMass, Purdue, and Indiana Universities - as well as being a software developer and experienced user of computer-based technologies. I’ve now retired and play a harmonica in several local bands (blues, country, rock, bluegrass). I mention this only to make it clear that I’m not an inexperienced user of these kinds of technologies. When I first experienced problems with IK Multimedia’s gadgets and software, I contacted their tech support people, and all they did was to tell me to read their manuals. I did this. And, to prove that I read the manuals thoroughly, I went though one of the manuals and make line-by-line editorial comments pointing out how nearly every sentence was either: (1) unhelpful, (2) completely unclear, (3) incomplete, or (4) completely wrong (in the sense that what was said simply wasn’t accurate). Then, I once again simplified my questions and contacted IK’s tech support people. This time, I did get a few suggestions about possible solutions to my problems. But, once again, virtually every sentence in this message was either: (1) completely unclear, (2) incomplete, or (3) completely wrong (in the sense that what was said simply wasn’t accurate). Also, the tech support person stated that some of the problems that I confronted could only be solved by purchasing more equipment that performed functions that IK Multimedia’s web site claims that their products are intended to do. Next, I tried going to IK Multimedia’s web site to see if there were other ways to get technical support. The contact numbers that were given reported that “the tech support lines were down.” And now, three days later, “the lines are still down." I’ve now seem to have no options except to ask for my money back on these purchases. … If you want to get a quick verification of what I’ve said, try downloading the things that are called “users manuals” for IK Multimedia’s products. The shortcomings will be obvious. These “users manuals” are not really users manuals at all. The simply describe what the products claim to do, but they give almost no information about how you (the user) could actually do any of these things. Also, these “users guides” contain a bunch of nearly identical photographs which contribute almost nothing to the meaningfulness of the text. … In more than 40 years of using a lot of computer-based tools, I’ve never encountered anything this bad in terms of overstated claims, completely useless “users guides”, and dismal tech support.

Firmware update for modes. Modes can connect Blueboard to iOS and OS X without this app once the firmware is updated.

when it works it's great.... so after I changed batteries on blueboard, I can no longer get the app to pair reliably. about 70% of the time the app won't detect the blueboard and will not connect. it's great when it works...

Always slow to update. Why is IK Multimedia apps always the last develop compatibility with new iOS updates? Maybe because there's too many versions of the same app? Make your apps universal across devices and stop charging for each version. Take ads out of paid for apps or make them unobtrusive. As a developer you should have had the tools to have your apps compatible by now. This is why I stopped supporting your company a while back, after purchasing almost every software and hardware product made by IK multimedia.

Unacceptable. App does not function with IOS9. IK's position is to not upgrade IOS versions until bugs are worked out. This is lazy and unacceptable for a product such as this. Developers have access to beta versions to work out the bugs before public version launch, software required for paid hardware should be ready on day one. Depended on the blueboard for live performance, very disappointed.

Cant change midi cc values. This blueboard should not coast more than $20. What is the point of having midi controller if you cant customize the midi CC values between 0-127. Its a toy.

Works fine. I have not yet experienced a single problem. I've not dug too deep, beyond using BlueBoard to change presets in JamUp and AmpliTube. Simply start the app, and let it run in the background. Apps simply need a toggle switched in the settings, and you are good to go. Anyone experiencing problems: 1st: Read reviews. A lot of folks experience problems already addressed and with options declared... 2nd: ensure your batteries are good! I mean not only not dying, but I recommend NOT buying the cheapest Dollar Store batteries available. On the same token, I suggest not wasting money on fancy batteries! The cheapest batteries are not reliable in regard to consistency of amperage output. Skip the dollar package, and spend two or three bucks, and you'll be fine... 3rd: turn Bluetooth on before opening any apps. I can attest this is irrelevant on my 5s and iPad Air. I normally forget to turn on Bluetooth until the app tells me I need to do so...but turning on Bluetooth beforehand may help with older devices...(?) 4th: be certain you are running the latest available version of iOS for your device...I'm a musician, and I know how hesitant we are to upgrade so as to not lose app functionality - google is your friend. If wary, search 'iOS 7.1.1 app conflicts' (or something similar, replacing 7.1.1 with whatever version is relevant currently)... 5th: be aware of any nearby potential interference. Do a search in Safari with Google as your search engine, typing 'Bluetooth interference' - the first link to popup is from apples support website. Read. 6th: if you've made certain you've good batteries installed, firmware on iOS device is up to date, Bluetooth is turned on, and your device is not separated from the BlueBoard via bulletproof glass...then you either hit the wrong button, or something is not functional! 7th: if you run into a problem the above doesn't fix, you can try resetting your network settings, in Settings app /General/Reset/Reset Network Settings - this will erase all cellular and wifi settings (wifi passwords, and saved connections), VPN network connections, and Bluetooth pairings. I believe it may remove them from iCloud as well, so use this advice as a last resort...some might argue resetting the device is a better option, but I can admit success with resetting the network on three different devices. Again, use with caution. If none of the above helped, you should not be trying to use such complicated equipment...cheers!

iOS 9 crashes BlueBoard app!. Please update this app immediately, so that I can use the iRig BlueBoard for live gigs! It is currently unusable with iOS 9. When I attempt to select the iRig BlueBoard "Tap here to connect your BlueBoard, the BlueBoard app crashes. Also, please stop the constant barrage of IK Multimedia products. I already own a lot of them, and don't want more pushed upon me. Please allow a way to opt out, because it's not only annoying, it interrupts the flow, and keeps me from enjoying the products. I'll happily change my review once the app is working again. Thanks, in advance!

Stopped working with new iOS 9 update. Blueboard wont connect with the new iOS 9 update.

Needs an update please. The app has not been updated in almost 2 years. The pedal needs a stomp box mode and other improvements.

Warning.... If you buy a Blueboard AND want to use it with amplitube it will be another $5 into your app for the MIDI control ability. Seems like other guitar effect apps are not only universal so I won't have to pay twice to use it on my iPad AND iPhone like amplitube but on other guitar effect apps I don't have to pay extra for MIDI control. This app to program your board is easy to use.

Useless. No manual. Can't get it to play a sample in "Sampl" which is an equally useless product. Is it really that odd I just want to trigger a sound effect during a live performance? No I dont want to play a piano with a footboard nor play guitar through an iPhone with 2 second latency. I just want to trigger a sound. Thumbs down!!

Works great. I've had no issues with Blueboard. I use it with JamUp pro.

Please add ios9 capability. If this worked with iOS9 I would give it 5 stars. A warning to wait for an update would have been nice. Please fix as soon as possible!

Terrible company and terrible products. I will never buy another product (software or hardware) from this company. They have zero support for this product but they continue to sell it. I very, very rarely write bad reviews because I know how detrimental it can be to a business but these guys obviously don’t care about their users. This app crashes every time I open it. I only opened it because they don’t have a Mac app which they claim they do. So basically this controller is useless to me. I’m seriously incredibly irritated by the disregard for their users.

No longer works with Music Stand App. I bought the iRig BlueBoard specifically to use with the Music Stand App...it worked perfectly for a few months...now it doesn’t, at all. No problems accessing my iPad or the BlueBoard app...just won’t work with Music Stand...very disappointing!

Good start. This app along with the BlueBoard hardware provide some basic controls. However, there is no way to configure it so send momentary cc messages. This requires 2 presses; one to activate, one to clear. A SW/FW update will give this 5 stars.

Christmas Present. I got a Blue Board for Christmas and had it running within 5 minutes of opening it. I have been using Ampkit for over a year and wanted a way to switch my pedals on and off without using my hands. This worked perfectly. Very easy to program and use. I am anxious to use this at the next gig.

Stop prompting me to buy your other apps!. The functionality of this app is as expected, but every single time I launch the app to connect my BlueBoard, it prompts me twice to buy their other apps. So annoying! I know you’re trying to convert people to your paid apps, but please respect that we’ve already purchased one of your products and just add a button to the menu or give us an option to disable those prompts. They REALLY get in the way of being able to use the app and the device.

Angry Ik customer. WARNING BUYER BEWARE blue board app doesn't work with iOS 9, if I was still a gigging musician I would punch Ik multimedia in the face, get it right don't leave your customers hanging out to dry.

Crashes ios9 update. Works fine now, took too long to update in my humble opinion. Thanks for the update though! I waited through the beta because it was the beta, but with the official release behind us I am leaving one star because tapping "connect Blueboard" crashes the app.

Make available for ipad 2!. Bought the blueboard but I can't download the app on my ipad 2 fix this and will give 5 stars

Crashes. When trying to connect the blueboard, the app crashes every time with ios9. Until it's fixed, I have a $100 useless pedal and a gig coming up that I'll have to change my setup for. I'll change my review when the problem is fixed.

Disappointment. I don't know why I keep buying Ik multimedia products, they seem to be in a rush to get products to market before the are any good. Started with the 1st generation irig sounds horrible and design flaw caused it to crap out quickly. Then I bought the irig stomp it has all kings of issues. Ground noise when the I pad is off and irig still plugged in. Annoying! I refuse to upgrade yet again. Another $100 get grip! Bought Blueboard it's not supported by my I-pad two but will probably work with my I-phone 4s yikes what a cluster f... All you really need is a good guitar and a good amp and some chops.

Can't use app with ios9. Had been using this pedal very successfully as a page turner with the great "Unrealbook" app, but was left out to dry this past weekend on two gigs when the iRig app crashed repeatedly when trying to pair the device with the iPad. Unacceptable.

Works generally well. I have been using the app with my Irig BlueBoard for a few years now it works very well most of the time. On the odd occasion it has disconnected from my IPad during live performances, which I wasn’t too happy about. It’s easy to connect first time around and even easier after that. I gave it 4 stars, only because of the occasional drop out issue.

It's lousy. An app that picks up blootooth devices but not physically connected ones? Stupid.

Crashes on iOS 16. Soon as I connect, using the app, it crashes. Also, it was not changing songs on BandHelper, despite MIDI data showing.

Good start. Now, do better!. Kudos to the IK team for their work so far to get the iRigBlueBoard (+ associated Apps) to this stage of development. Now, please: 1) Make the system more stable. I've had it drop out on me a couple of times whilst gigging. Not good enough! Also, had issues at one point whilst rehearsing last week, and no matter how many times resetting the WHOLE system, it wouldn't 'pair up'. 😳 2) Give users more flexibility in selecting functionality for the foot switches. At this stage, I only use my feet to control page-turns in the iKlip Stage App, and with an accidental slip to the C switch instead of the B (mid-performance!!!) sent my current place in the score crazy! Apoplectic actually! Please allow user-designated functionality. Include things like: being able to pre-set particular pages in the scores to trigger upon pushing particular switches, for scores with "D.S. Al Coda", and the like. Not user friendly. Just spent $130 on the blue board. I’m really dissatisfied. User manual is terrible. Device does not work with AmpliTube. Can you guys please post a link to that tells me how to set this up in AmpliTube?

Seriously? Don't bother with this product.. Thinking this thing is a Bluetooth midi remote is wrong. MIDI is a standard. Bluetooth is a standard. Why is an app necessary? Seems like a at to lock you into ik multimedia. Not that they're stuff is awful, just using this thing with any app of my choice without a driver doesn't seem impossible. Having to install a 50mb Trojan horse on an iPad is just really bad design. Not worth the money. I'm sure there's something cooler out there. Don't buy this thing until they fix this. It also doesn't support older iPads. This just a cash grab. It's midi over Bluetooth. Not rocket science.

Blueboard. ...first roadhouse gig in Toronto using Blueboard with AmpliTube ... went superbly and flawlessly using IPad, Strat and Fender Delux amp. It was fast and allowed more control over my sound than I ever had in the past with my army of floor pedals. At least 10 other guitarists approached me during the breaks to check out my system and all were very impressed. Score a big ten out of ten for this new rig.

Pedal is fine...in app ads though?!. Didn't I pay enough for this app and pedalboard? So why, when I open the app, am I bombarded with pop ups advertising other IK multimedia products? Over and over again, while trying to just get it setup. Cheap experience for a not cheap price. Put your users needs ahead of your own, IK.

Waist of money. I bought this blue board years ago still can't get it to work right the sound quality is very poor and flaky at best paid $150 for junk to good to be true I guess I really wanted this to work to bad.

No momentary CC Switch option??. Wanted to use it as a page turner and a tempo tap. I'm not going to double-tap every time I want to turn a page. How about using it as a sustain pedal? Not an option without momentary cc switch functionality.
