Not up to snuff for using live. This was great at one point, never had issues, but along the way if lost its way, now I get frequent nasty distortion and glitches in the sound , I'm using an iPad Air 2 and it should be more than enough CPU power to handle this. I wouldn't recommend this for live situations.

😍. I'm in love all over again!!! This app already had awesome EP's but this expansion pack 2 just put the icing on the cake! I went and purchased the expansion packs for iGrand and iElectric IMMEDIATELY!!! Thank you IK Multimedia for just being.... Awesome!

Great. Sounds great. Much better than the keys in Sample Tank. Modulation effects are thick and warm

Electric Pianos? They're Here!. As far as sampled electric pianos sounds is concerned, this app is the one. The effects are classy, the renditions of the original pianos are very useful and Audiobus makes it easy to add to your songs. All in all, very satisfied with this specialty app.

Amazing sounds, but.... The sounds are absolutely amazing, but audiobus support is badly needed. If that is added, five stars.

Person. Hard to register. Won't recognize password, even when I change to your reset. Keyboard works well, once you have locking feature on. I want to record some melodies, perhaps add chords, but without manual, it is not obvious how to do that. The piano sound selections are good. Also like ability to adjust touch sensitivity and sound quality.

ILectric Piano. I found this app to be quite good. I can blend the different sounding piano's and make my own sounds. Keep putting out more great apps like this, and you will always have a customer.

Great electric piano sounds. I use this app both in the studio and at live gigs. A very nice collection of classic keyboard sounds. Maybe an update to remove those annoying popups will be coming soon....

Save my settings. I love this app it looks great and sounds great. The only thing is I wish that I old save the settings. That would be great if you all could put that feature in Other than that great product

Great EPs. Very, very good Rhodes, Wurli and Clav. And some other fun extras like the CP-70. Very useful on small gigs. One thing to fix: switching between this and iGrand triggers several very loud notes from the app that's being opened (using an iPad Air). Very awkward in live settings. And please give us an update with 10-12 user presets. Thank you! :-)

Alesis io dock, no good. This sounds horrible with the alesis io dock, some sort of digital clipping no matter how the settings are.

no IAA or Audiobus?!?!. Running iOS 8 breaks Audiobus for this app and it doesn't support IAA. Would really like to see that fixed/added before I pay them any more money. Worthless app in it's current state. Great sound though

Loved the update and was about to buy the new pack, but.... ...fails to load sometimes. Very crash-prone. I just left a one-star negative review and went back to try it again after several deletes/reinstalls and a couple of reboots and behold: it works again. Still very wary about working this potential unreliable app into my live gig rig. Perhaps time will tell if it remains stable; then perhaps I'll consider purchasing expansion pack 2. Keeping my fingers crossed 'cause the dang thing sounds great.

Best initial sounding EP. I've tried them all and always go back to iLectric. Unlike many other apps the iLectric EP was program right in terms of playability and sound. However, I can't use this app in live situations do to the intermittent distortion. Please fix it! Five stars when this is fixed.

Great sounds only hampered by iOS 9 issues. Ever since iOS 9 there has been distortion when changing samples. I can no longer play any Ikmultimedia apps running in the background in unison, let alone by themselves on my Mini II without sample switching causing notes to hang and distortion noises. Since 2013 I have been using these apps, but the ability to live gig on an iPad Mini II/Air 1 has diminished with the advent of iOS9. Everything was fine before. Please fix!

Schweeeet!!. Excellent sounds, and very nice effects. Program change, selectable midi channels and midi learn are really nice features too. I have a couple of requests. Audiobus!! Would also like to see delay and wah effects added and more parameters to edit for effects. It would also be nice to save your patches. Having to change settings isn't that big of a deal in the studio but it's a pain for live performances. Thanks IK!! You are just an iHornsection, and an iString section away from my iPad being my complete keyboard rig.

Multiple sound repeats. it has a couple nice sounds but most of the expansion pack is redundancy. needs to have the junk sounds removed and focus on better sounds

Abandoned. This company should let you know it’s been dumped years ago and sell it for 3 bucks otherwise it’s a rip off

Please Add Inter-App capabilities. I love this app, but it needs inter-app capabilities like other IK apps have. I don't know about the negative reviews others have given this, I haven't had any troubles using it when recording or live with my MIDI keyboard.

No audiobus support for ios8. Great piano sounds, but you really need to fix the audiobus issue with iOS 8. Cannot record in garageband at all, which is why I purchased this. It's only a stand alone app right now. I would give 5 stars if you fix the audiobus problem.

Perfect. There is no distortion with the Alesis ioDock in compatibility B mode. I had to clear this up as a proud owner of this amazing app!! I was reluctant at first to give this a try because I already own the Sample tank fully expanded app, & I was wondering if the sounds would be close, But I could not stop playing these keys, I now practice piano just about everyday because of these great sounding Rhodes, way to go people, excellent, excellent, work! Very authentic, you actually feel like Stevie wonder or somebody while playing, & to think I was just about to buy a pc vst, (Nahh!) I'm completely satisfied with this app! I never even liked the Clav until I played the clavinet with the wah here! I bought the expansion, I find myself stuck playing a keyboard for like 40 min before switching,.. I was so impressed I bought IGrand & fully expanded that also! Great Job IKMULTIMEDIA You Bring Professional Quality instruments to Mobile Devices, Mobile Production is not Just The future... Flashback!. My bro and I collected vintage keys and synths in the 70s and 80s. This is a real turn on for me. It takes me all the way back to hippydom. I really love this app.

The #1 best Electric Piano App!. This app has the best selection of various electric piano models and they all sound fantastic. Super realistic. There are great controls included for things like Chorus, Reverb, Flanger, Drive, etc. Great sounds, great to play, this is my go to electric piano app, and I have plenty of other on other apps to pick from.

GROOOOOOVY!. If you are looking for great 60's - 80's electric pianos this is it! Great sounding Hohner Clavinets, Wurlitzers and a very cool Hohner Pianet N (think The Zombies)! However, imho, this app doesn't have the greatest Rhodes sounds... I'd look to another well known iOS app for an accurate Rhodes sound ;)

really decent sounds. sounds are pretty usable...love the wurly. needs savable presets & a dry, barky rhodes ...& PLEASE ditch the ads since this is a paid for app.

Great app ruined by obtrusive advertisements!. I pay top dollar for an app and then you hit me with in app advertisements? An extremely well done app. The electric pianos sound very authentic and the controls are superb. Now someone needs to tell their marketing department to keep their greedy hands off the app. Don't spend money on this app unless like getting interrupted by advertisements.

Sweet!. I don't know why I waited so long to get this – it sounds so good. Great number of models/options come with the purchase price. I look forward to hearing what the in-app purchase models sound like. Adjustments made to the instruments are not saved and there is no way to save instrument settings, which is shocking, really. I might have to reduce this review to 3 stars... Save user settings per instrument, octave up/down buttons, and the option to customize key size would make this a 5 star app - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. I'm surprised IK didn't have these features in the first release, given the fact they've been in the iOS music app making community long enough to know what ought to be included at a minimum.

Wow!. I have been recording with several VST electric pianos from all the boutique name brands you can imagine. The sounds on this one are nothing less then amazing! So close to the real thing you can smell it. I just installed it and I already can't wait to lay it down on my next production. It has all the depth and fullness that you would expect from a virtual instrument that costs hundreds of dollars more. Add a little fuzz and buzz from your valve amp and you'll think you're back to the good ol' moldy studio times. A must have for any serious producer or gig bum.

Good Solid app. This is my go to app for working out most of my electric piano when I’m composing. It even makes the cut in some of the final recordings. I have to say though that this is an easy program to work with but I often need sounds not available and switch to other apps for the final product. There haas been a glitch at startup that says I need to add microphone access but I cannot find the app in the privacy settings.

Last updated in 2015? Seriously bro?. How bout some audiobus 3, how bout keeping this thing usable?

Look.... There’s no better grand for the iPad. We used to pay hundreds for vst instruments of half the quality. So if you’re complaining about a piano like this, at this price, your appreciation values are way off. It’s an iPad. Not a tower with a 12core future Xeon... if you want more from 20 bucks iPad multimedia has the wrong priority in your creativity.

One of the best EP apps. This app has some of the best EP sounds on iOS. Not bad at all.

Strange high-end digital artifact when docked. Using this with the Griffin StudioConnect which I use for performance, and it has a slight digital distortion artifact in the high-end, making it unusable for performance. Seems like a waste of money for me now. Back to my GarageBand EP.

A great E piano App. Clean sounds, authentic and full of character, maybe a little more grunge but satisfying to play. Worth the money.

Quality.. As always, amazing sounds from IK multimedia. Great virtual midi and Audiobus support. Recommended.

Still my favourite ❤️. I’ve used these EP’s for a couple years and I still love them. The best sounding Wurly and Rhodes available on iOS. I use Pianoteq on the PC, and installed it on my iPad when it came out this year. But iLectric is still my favourite. I’m not sure why someone else gave them 1 star. Personal taste maybe. 🤔🤪

Needs update. Sounds great, fun to play, nice collection, easy to tweak, but needs to be updated to stay in the game... No iOS 8 support... Not compatible for the moment (nov. 30 2014) with Garage Band, nor Cubasis, nor Audiobus... Could partially compete with Korg Module. IK losing sales and visibility in this niche by not updating. They must have their reasons I guess...

Pretty Good. I just bought this and it wouldn’t work because of latency issues. But the developer was able to point me to adjustments and it works well. It has a good selection of e-pianos...

NO AUDIOBUS SUPPORT!!!. No excuses...please just fix this IK ...

Fantastic!. Hohner Pianet, Yamaha CP70, RMI Electrapiano, Hohner Clavinet, Wurlitzer 200, Fender Rhodes - all in glorious technicolor! Good choruses and phasers as well, and full core MIDI control. This is the only app I know of that has full MIDI CP70, RMI and Pianet. If you like vintage keyboards, this is for you.
