Worth it for ONE reason ONLY. If you leave the iPad at home and need immediate access to your board to gain up channels and monitor mixes than this will work for you. It is however limited to just adjusting volumes and stuff so no EQ adjusting. I wouldn’t count on this app for anything more than an emergency situation. Still gonna give it 4 stars for saving my life at a show a time or two! Thank you for doing what Behringer should have done.

DID NOT CONNECT TO XAIR. I was working a live sound gig and the tablet I normally used died. So as an emergency, I bought this app for my iPhone to continue mixing. APP WOULD NOT CONNECT TO THE XAIR IP ADDRESS I WAS JUST USING ON THE TABLET! I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

Fantastic app. Just missing auto EQ’s make it easier for the popular sound tech that may be a beginner like me but everything else is great I’m a big fan of all behringer products but my issue is eq’s and auto feedback destroyer and help please let me know how I can eliminate this issue as far as connections go I’m perfectly fine it’s just if I had and auto EQ or auto feedback destroyer it would mean the world BecuAse it’s less work on the sound tech and more live performance to enjoy!!!! Otherwise like I said it’s great the metering and sound and really need to add meters to the app for sound signals

Don’t Waste Your Money if using a phone. I forgot my iPad at home so I purchased the app again for my phone to help out in a pinch and it was 100% useless. It could scan and find my mixer but then would ask to synch (app from mixer) and I tried many times, but it would immediately fail every time so I couldn’t use it. The monitor app had no trouble connecting but that doesn’t allow me to unmute my channels.

Not bad. Pretty good! I’ve had no connection issues, and it’s only crashed once. I restarted the app and it worked fine. Add fx and/or eq for 5 stars! It’s exactly what it says it is!

Fails to sync. I would like a refund, but the developer does not provide any form of contact info.

Did not work. Not worth the money.. Connected to my x18 for a few seconds then locked up and would not reconnect.

Help please. I’d live to write a great review, but after trying every possible way of connecting this app to the mixer, I’m am mentally exhausted and disappointed to say the least. Maybe developer will contact me with some helpful advice and all will work as it should...maybe I’ll fart butterflies that sing over the rainbow in 4 part harmony.

Wasn’t able to connect. Not able to connect to a Behringer XR18. I have it set to custom IP address and the app will either crash immediately before it opens or the syncing over WiFi will just hang. Glad to update the review if I can get it to work. Thanks!

EQ problems. I just got an iPhone so I had to switch to this app for controlling my XR12. I can’t even figure out how to change the EQ high low mid settings for my channels. Going back to using the iPad but the issue with that is I like to connect the iPad to the venue WiFi to use my ultimate guitar app for lyrics. Frustrating.

Five Stars are merited!. This app really is awesome!!! It does exactly what it is advertised to do... to complement the PC/Mac and iPad apps available from Behringer with an iPhone iOS alternative... allowing users to control channel Mic Gain, Phantom Power, Pan, Volume, Gate, Dynamics, Bus Send mixes, Solo, Mute, and channel color schemes.. not to mention similar control functions for the four Effects Engines, all Bus Outputs as well as the Main LR Output! Connects seamlessly to the X-Air’s WEP enabled password WiFi access point, and syncs in real-time all actions performed by PCs, iPads and iPhones simultaneously synced to the X-Air device. All that for $5!!! Satisfies me, 100%. If and when it does feature EQ and FX editing capabilities, it’ll be an even better X-Air killer app! Thanks for developing and making this needed iPhone app available to us!!!

I really wish it worked for me. Was unable to connect. Tried changing the internal Access Point to “open”. Instead of using WEP. & still nothing. I really wish this app worked on my phone because I’d love to use it. But unfortunately it was not successful connecting to the XR16.

Cannot connect to mixer. Ive tried for over an hr and cannot connect to the mixer.. Don’t waste your money.

Don’t Buy It. I used this app for four years problem free, but now this app is worthless after several mad operating system updates. it’s If you’re considering buying a Behringer product and running it from an IPad—DONT! Even with a brand new iPad we now have two Behringer devices that refuse to work with them on this app only later to find out this app has been glitching and corrupt for months and nobody seems to be anything about it. Apple needs to help on this one and make Behringer either fix it or stop advertising their products as being Apple compatible because this app is currently not.

Great 3rd Party App. Got tired of needing an iPad for a simple mic and MP3 player setup we had and since Behringer didn’t have an official iPhone app tried this even with the low ratings. Worked like charm on first try after connecting the my X-Air 16 wifi. No EQ but works perfectly for what I need. Thanks!

Worthless!!. Thought this was a behringer app, but it’s just some jerk making it look like that. No effect, no control of anything but individual track volume. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!

Yes!. I can finally have (mostly) full control of my XR18 on my iPhone! Give us EQ controls, and it gets 5 stars.

Hasn’t worked in years. Waste of money- stopped connecting to mixer over a year ago. Avoid.

Borderline Useless. This app is an attempt to quickly steel five dollars from your pocket in return for garbage. After experiencing extreme difficulty just getting the app to connect to my X18, basically the only thing it can do is mute or solo a channel. It doesn’t give live levels, which renders the app completely useless for every application. It is very apparent that the guy who programmed this app is not a musician, and has never touched a mixer in his life

Good app. This app does what it is advertised to do. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is a couple of features it lacks. There is no way to pull up other scenes that are saved to the mixer. And no eq controls. I’m sure there are other features that it does not have but for me those are the big 2 that would make this a 5 star app

Connection is so slow or cant connect. The app allows to change some basic settings on the mixers but still missing a lot of capabilities as compare from the product app on tablet. Please be aware that one you purchase, you cant request a refund. Apple doesn’t support refund on this app.

Response to eq reviews. If you have ever worked on an analog mixer you will know exactly how to control the we on the this app. Thank you developers!

Did not work. Would not connect to my Xair 32.

Will not connect to Midas MR18. The app description says it works with the Midas series of mixers. These are functionally similar to the Behringer Air series. I bought the app specifically to pair with the MR18. I does not pair, so is useless. Bought an app from a different developer and pairs fine. Happy to change my rating and review if this gets corrected.

Not comprehensive but solid. Doesn’t include every X-Air feature but it has the basics and IT WORKS ON AN IPHONE (unlike the Behringer app).

EDIT: (got it to connect) Can’t get it to connect. IP address was wrong. My netgear ended in 3. Thanks! Can’t get the app to connect to my behringer xr18. If anyone can help, would be happy to keep it and change my review. If not, will be asking for my money back.

Works really well with the Midas MR18. Very nice to have this work so well on my phone, such that I don’t need the iPad. Seems to maintain connection as well as the iPad app ever did and loads the scene from the MR18 very quickly.

Update-better but still needs work.... Loads quickly, thank you for the fix! No eq or Fx control. It lets you do faders, gains, 48v, even the auto mix feature. Mains and Aux 1-6. But without the ability to adjust EQ, I can’t see this being very useful. Another thing I noticed: if you click on a section and a window pops up, it doesn’t have any way to identify which channel you’re working within. If you got distracted (which can easily happen mixing a show) this could be a real problem. You need to easily identify what you are editing at all times. It’s getting closer. Add eq and label pop up windows and it could be a real winner.

Won’t even fully load.. It loads, it only complete the scan once and has never fully loaded to control anything. It just crashes. I want my money back.

Works good so far. Connects to my XR12, needed to enter its ip address manually into the app though.

Hardware vs Software. I’m not sure if it’s the Behringer or this app, but no connection between my iPhone 11 and the X-Air 12 was possible. The interface looks nice though. All I know, is that I will be returning the Behringer for a refund, if I can, and upgrading to something serious like QSC.

Basic control of XR mixer. This app has potential. Connected to my mixer no problem Faders are way too small and they still jump when you touch the area. Three stars for now after playing with it for 3 minutes.

Can’t even connect to the X-Air.. I checked the IP address was correct but nothing. I tried to connect it through the router. IPad and Laptop connect perfectly with other apps. Just tried to run this app on IPad, also doesn’t work. Don’t buy it. I just lost my money
