Suggestions to improve. Like others, I treat my hints like gold and try not to use them. And I don’t want to pay for them. To watch a video and get a free hint is nice, but I feel like there is a problem with the “next hint available in xx minutes” message. It seems like the number of minutes elapsed jumps all over the place and doesn’t match the number im seeing. I’ve even seen it go higher even though time has elapsed. Maybe it’s a glitch? (I play on an iPad or iPhone.) Maybe there could also be other ways to earn hints besides watching ads. A big help (to me) and one that seems easy for developers to implement would be to put the letter count of the target words in the words. I’m thinking of something like placing a faint 5 in each of the five boxes of a 5-letter word. This, of course, would be most helpful for the really long words. I waste a lot of time counting them over and over. It’s not sufficient for it to be only in the first (left-most) box in case one applies a hint. One in the right-most box would be okay, but “the number in each box” seems better. For the adventure games, please put the level number of the game I’m currently playing on that game board. Am I in Level 8? 9? Thank you for your consideration!

On it’s way to being a cash grab.... With the last couple of updates, ads and deal pop ups are being shoved in your face a lot. The game was no doubt 5 stars before this. Ads don’t just pop up b/t puzzles now, but also once you find the first word of a puzzle, you get an ad. As well, each puzzle you open, you get a deal pop up that covers up the blank words. You are forced to open it and see the deals on hint packages to be able to clear the pop up. But if you’re like me, you contact MAG. A few days later, I received this email: “Thank you for contacting us. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We understand that you are getting Ads more frequently in the game. We have escalated this issue to our product team and they will surely fix it incoming updates. Meanwhile, if you want you can purchase any one of the hints pack available for sale in-game, this will convert your game to an Ad-free version. Additionally, if you have any other query regarding WordBrain, please let us know!” So there you go. Cash grab. I fully support those behind the game being able to make a living. However, backhanded cash grabbing is not ok. Just offer an ad free option for $3-$5. This is what ruined Angry Birds...and this game is one step closer to it.

Terrific Tech Support. Aside from being a fun game to play and very challenging, Tech support is terrific! I was getting sick of all of the ads, and thought I had purchased an ad free version of the game. I wrote to tech support on Christmas Eve not expecting a speedy response, but received one quite promptly,instructing me to provide verification of purchase,which I didn’t know how to do so wrote to tech support again and received e-mail instructions on how to look up that info. That was above and beyond! As it turns out, I was mistaken and had not purchased an ad free version. Just completed that transaction and am now happily playing ad-free. Thank you!

A good challenge, but..... I sometimes wish the game made use of a bigger, more erudite vocabulary. Secondly, if (for example) the word you were supposed to choose was “smile,” it would seem appropriate to reward the player if he/she instead chooses “miles,” or even “limes.” And to state the obvious, if I’ve already paid for the game at the App Store, why the hell should I have to pay an additional $5.00 just to remove the obnoxious advertisements that clutter up the screen? I resisted upgrading the game for years for fear of being deluged by unwanted ads. Now that I’ve upgraded it, I wish I could go back to the earlier, ad-free version. The internet already has WAY too many ads, and your company has copped out by including this junk along with its software. You blew it, period.

In love 😍 😝😝😝. I love this game so much but it is so hard maybe if they gave us daily hints it would be a little bit easier but other than that I completely love the game and I want more like it. I also want to recommend a really good app called Duolingo I love it so much it helps learn new languages and it is super fun and easy. I also love fishdom it is a really good game I love it so much. You can get stranded with no recourse. While I've enjoyed playing this game and have gotten almost 2/3 of the way through the game, I got to a puzzle that literally defies the assertion in the help section of the game that "every level can be solved". I tried every combination possible to get a final word, but there was no way to configure the letters to spell the word "sphere", which I confirmed by spending six hints. I literally gave up and looked on line at a solutions site. Not only is my particular puzzle configured completely differently in the online version, "sphere" is not even one of the words for the solution to that level. I emailed the developer because they have made mistakes before and corrected them, according to the solutions site, but so far no response. And they don't even give you a chance to "buy" your way around a puzzle--surprising, given they can really run up the money when you pay for more hints. Oh well...

Kinda Fun game. BUT....... Starts out very easy so you get use to how the game works. Than gets more complicated and tricky- that's the fun, However, no pay game has gotten VERY annoying with all the adds and they are constant and long. My iPad and iPhone for some reason aren't connected so I'm at two totally different levels depending upon which one I'm using. Added the daily challenge and "Hidden Words". But so what?!?You do them for nothing. I collect stars for what reason? And my daily challenge went two weeks and received nothing for it and the re-do is slower so you use hints for no reward. DO NoT use up hints on daily challenge it's a waste. I use to think this was a 5 or 6 star game, now it's 2 1/2.

Fixes to make game better. I love the game very much. What I don't like is the fact that I never get my free hints when I reach a level. It says I get 3, but never register. Also I don't like the fact they you try and force people to buy hints. I think if you did a daily spin where you could earn free hints like candy crush does would be a nice feature . I may have to delete your game do to the fact that I can't be buying hints all the time. I also think you should have the ability to pick where you want a clue. You have it designed to make you waste your hints.

Great game, but.... I started this game 2 years ago, and liked it instantly. I played it until I almost finished all the platforms and then an update occurred and I suddenly had more levels to complete. I finished all the levels and waited for another update so I could play it some more. But that’s when the game took a downturn for me. With the latest level there are so many ads you can’t enjoy the game. Every time I reset the puzzle, I get an ad of 15 to 30 seconds. Every time I let my screen go to sleep and wake it up, I get another ad. Even if I play constantly for a few minutes, my game will be interrupted by an ad. Some of the ads can be canceled at the end by clicking on an X in the upper corner, but sometimes there is no X and you have to figure out where to click to get out of the ad. And still another ad requires you to make a selection in the ad. Even though I really like the game and the improvements made to it, I will be deleting it and hope that when I receive additional levels of the game on Wordbrain 2, it does not have the increased number of ads in it.

Great game but a few problems.... I think this is a great educational game for children to get there brains going. But there are very few problems I need to discuss, which I think will effect your app greatly. 1. Innapropeat language. I have played some of the puzzles and realized there is innapropiate language used, such as sex, hell, devil, and cuss words. I think as a app for young children this needs to be fixed. 2. Too many adds! I don't understand why there is an add every time you complete a level. Every single time I have failed or completed a level, you will give me a 25 second add. I constantly get tired of this when I am trying to play a relaxing game that multiple adds come up every few minutes. 3. Glitches ALOT I think that if your trying to have a fun app where you can relax, this is good if you have a GOOD VERSION. My version in my IOS device glitches constantly and makes me start over levels. The reason I give this three stars is because i think it is a good app but of all the things I stated above. Fun game. It’s a fun game but ads are repetitive and annoying. Especially the sound. They are often loud and lately when I mute it the sounds keeps coming back on so I have to keep finding the mute that moves from corner to corner to press it. It’s a bit stupid to have to play along with this unwanted “game” for an ad I wasn’t interested in in the first place. **UPDATE: it also does not accurately track progress. It supposedly keeps a record of consecutive days the puzzle of the day is solved. There are times I know that I have solved the previous day but it doesn’t record it. **UPDATE TWO: lately they seem to be pushing a not-so-subtle political agenda by having words like republican and conservative in the puzzles. Inappropriate.

my opinion...𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑑𝑏𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑛. I have been playing wordbrain since November of 2017. It’s extremely addicting once you get to the harder levels. And when I say hard, I mean, hard. These levels have you racking your brain. So you may think, “oh. I guess I should use a hint.” Well, you don’t have many. Hints are expensive, and I’m not spending $5 on 15 hints. What I DO like is that every time you change brains, you get hints. Basically in this game you start off in a snail brain, and theres a number of levels in there. As you progress you get a mermaid brain, unicorn, and even alien. These all have levels in them. But once you progress from snail to frog, you get 7 or so hints. This makes the game easier and makes me want to level up more, knowing my hard work will pay off when I get to harder levels. Ads are a big thing in this game. I don’t like finishing a level and getting 2 ads. And they aren’t those 4 second ads, either. You get those rarely. The most common ads are the 25-30 second ones. And they are 1 or 2 after each level. And if you have been trying the level for a while, halfway though an ad pops up! But that’s my opinion on wordbrain. I hope a developer will respond because I’d love to discuss an issues I’ve been having where I watch a video for a hint and I do not receive it. Please fix this!!!

Word brain fun?. I like doing word puzzles and especially like WordBrain. I really like the extra challenges of 5 .. I don’t like the limited number of free hints that I can earn watching ads and it often seems that the ads are broken. To explain, I’ll click to watch an ad for a free hint and get a message “Video available soon. I have to reboot my iPad in order to get back to the game- and there are no hints. After I’ve accumulated 5 or 6 ads, I can’t earn anymore. The other issue that I have with the game is that when I’ve used incorrect letters, and I click on the moving arrow to redo the word, everything goes back to the beginning and although the words are visible, I have to renter them. Right now I’m stuck on an advanced puzzle and can’t figure out how I get the words. Hints don’t help as it is an issue with the order of the words

Next word can’t be made. I am tired of looking for a word for hours (off & on) when it can’t be obtained. I have found all the words except for the last one. The red circle spins letting me know that the next word is not obtainable. That’s good but when I clear the board to rearrange how I formed the words the first time, I get to the fourth word and it’s not obtainable because I changed how I made the previous words. Why doesn’t the red circle spin? It seems that it only spins on the last word. I wish that I could send you a screenshot of my puzzle. It clearly shows all the words in grey form, the first three word entered and the fourth worn not obtainable but no red circle spinning. If I didn’t know what the fourth word was I would be looking again for hours. I don’t like using the hints. Hope this helps someone.

Love/Hate. I love this word game and the Challenge of it But I do Hate a few things about it!!! I Hate that you can't pick and choose which word you want a hint for. I Hate the fact if you get stuck you can't try another puzzle within the same category and go back later. I especially hate the price you have to,pay for hints. When I started playing Seven little Words, I think I paid like $5 for "Unlimited" hints. I love the game, but will not continue playing if I have to keep BUYING HINTS I also HATE a the fact that everyday I click to get a hint, watch the ad and then never get the hint, at least 5-10 times a day. I have contacted you and never gets fixed!!!

Frustrating failures of your letter arrangements.. Your game has some frustrating flaws in the arrangements of the letters making it impossible to complete the spelling on level five with “melon” and “well” not being organized so you can spell out “WELL” at all. The W is in the middle left square, one of the L’s was in the lower left square (Just below the W) with the E to the right of the first L and the second L to the right of the E. The placement of the E diagonally to the lower left of the W means you have to choose one of the L’s, with the result that you lose access to the second L on the other side of the E. I ran back through it again with the same result. The arrangement of the letters does not allow you to spell WELL either before or after you spell out in MELON. Noticed some other reviews mentioning similar issues, but decided to try anyway. Too bad! Appeared promising. NURSEGAMALOT

All good things come to an end. I’ve been playing this game for a few years now off and on. I like the new update where you can see your solved words after you reset the board. What I can’t stand any the seemingly endless ads for the same game, or any game for that matter. And as of late the game just cuts off while I’m playing. Another thing, why isn’t there a way to earn the mega hints? You should at least be able to earn at least one of them every level. Something to consider. Please fix the problems with having to watch videos and not receiving your hints like other users have stated.

Good game. I really like playing this game because it makes me think quite a great deal. It can be frustrating sometimes however when you can’t find the words. But then that’s part of the game. The one thing that is A little more than frustrating is that it often doesn’t seem to give you clues when you have a right to have them. I have even had a few times when it has me watch an ad and then it doesn’t award me the clue which was to go along with watching the ad. It happened 11 times in a row actually at one time when I was playing Otherwise, I truly do really enjoy this game.

Love it, but!. The last few times I have gotten the icon for video, I clicked it on, watched the video until it was over and then hit the button to stop it; it goes away and I don't get my free hint! Very frustrating! Same thing just happened tonight. And it is happened like Saturday night as well. Extremely frustrating. I do not understand. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong, but when I get back to the word brain page there is no hint!!! I would really like to know why. Once again, just now, when I hit the button to watch a video to get a free hint, it just goes right back to the game and does not let me watch a video or give me a chance to get a free hint.

No Pressure. I can play this game at my own pace, like Boggle without a clock, or Scrabble without a score. No penalty for wrong words, as many tries as I want to solve each puzzle. Great interface with no need to type. Not addictive, yet, and a great way to spend time between naps😏 There are a lot more ads than when I initially started, but the quality of the puzzles are worth the wasted time in forced ad viewing. Without the free hint per 30-second ad view, I would probably put this baby down and do something else, but being able to accumulate hints for free has helped me to get all the way through Kraken, and I have hints left over, so I guess I’ll keep going.

Fun but.... It's fun, challenging but you need a way to earn more free hints without paying for them. I sometimes need a starting letter to be able to get the words. The new update for February was supposed to have ways to earn free hints, but no way. I'm stuck, I've tried every word available and I have a good vocabulary, but I may have to delete it. Right now it's just taking up space. I also keep getting messages on my pad to collect my free hint but when I get on the game no free hint, no way to get one. I’m dropping my rating because I just had to use 4 hints because it didn’t give the sign that I could not spell the word in that configuration. I kept trying, and now I’ve wasted 4 hints because I knew that word but was depending on the game to work correctly. You can get a hint by watching a video now, but only one every 20 minutes.

Great!. This app is very fun and addicting. There are many levels, and it’s very fun with the Events like the New Year Event and the Christmas Event; among others. It does seem like a lot of adds, but it doesn't bother me. You can buy more hints, but I do wish they were cheaper. Also, I’ve recently gotten to the harder levels, and I seemingly run out of hints, and I know other people who have the same problem. It would be great if you got a hint from the Puzzle of the Day, or every time you complete a regular puzzle instead of only getting them on Events. If would also be great if you had achievements, like 15 hints for getting a 50 day streak in Puzzle of the Day. All in all, it’s a great game. I also wish that on an iPad, the screen would be able to turn sideways. Please respond!

They still won’t let me watch a video for a free hint.. How petty can one get with their hints! I refrain from saying free hint because if you watch a video than you earned the hint; however, I tapped the free hint bar which again it flashed extremely fast but no video played. I continued to select the video bar but no response at all after the flash. Unbelievable! Both WordBrain and WordBrain 2 are about to launch another guessing puzzle game special in about three days I believe, and I am willing to bet you that the payout issue is NOT fixed on the WordBrain because in my recent write up just last week they responded that they know about the issue and is working on it but this issue has been going on FOREVER for as long as I can remember! I think I am going to put there SORRY AS__ in the clouds and just play WordBrain 2. I have yet to have any issues with the people behind WordBrain 2, they got it going on 👍🏽😊👏🏾! Kudos to the people behind WordBrain 2!

Some disappointment. I love this game, however four new levels were added about a week ago (witch, pumpking, reaper, genie), and there’s a glitch somewhere. I’ve completed all of the WITCH level, got 3 hints for completing, and went on to PUMPKING. I’ve completed 7 or 8 of this level, and even though I get advanced to the next puzzle, if I close the game, and reopen it I’m taken back to the 20th puzzle in the previous level it won’t allow me to go where I was, and all my hints show up, but the puzzles don’t show up finished. I have to start at #1 again in the level. Retry annoying. I’ll wait until there’s an update.

Suddenly too many ads. This is an engaging game, one that I play almost every day. All games/levels are solvable with increasing difficulty as levels are reached. At Minotaur level word difficulty and complexity increases dramatically. I don’t mind sitting through the ads to gain free hints. I’ve gathered well over 600 by doing so, even having made purchases from some of them. BUT...something changed a few weeks ago and now there are constant ads. Every time you form the first word (maybe second) of a level an ad pops up and I often see no way to skip it. Sometimes they’re short and you can close them out after a few seconds or so; while inconvenient to the rhythm, I can deal with that. But too often you’re stuck with a 30 second ad, often for something I have no interest in. And if you restart the game you have to go through the same crapola again and again. I had to watch some Empires and Galaxies ad or some such thing four times! in just a few minutes! Mid game even more of these unwanted ads pop up so there is constant interruption. This will make me stop playing the game. Which means I’ll no longer watch the ads I choose to for hints and won’t be looking at any of those products. Change this!!

Fun game, but getting repetitive. I’m enjoying this game, but feel there could be a couple of improvements that would make it more fun and fulfilling. As the levels increase, I expected the hidden words to increase in difficulty, too, but they haven’t. They are still pretty basic vocabulary words, with quite a bit of repetition (I swear SLIPPERS is every 5th puzzle!) I think the scrambling has gotten more complex as levels have proceeded, but not the words themselves. The "star bonus" words are especially simple and repetitive (TIN is always an option if those letters are in the puzzle). What advantage is there to earning those stars, anyway? How about a free hint if a player finds all 10 words? I wish that players could skip to higher levels on their own and try those puzzles instead of working their way up, as sometimes 20 puzzles per level is too many. I wish the game would give a free hint after every 5 puzzles solved instead of 3 hints after solving 20.

Ads cover content. I gave 5 stars because I enjoy the game and think it deserves that rating. I do not enjoy the ads that cover the content. When I report those ads, with the hope that I can continue playing, Google removes the ad but the removal banner remains over the ad and then another ad pops up to take its place still covering the content. Petco is the ad currently intruding on my enjoyment of WordBrain. My only option to continue playing wordbrain is to close the game completely and reopen. It does not encourage me to run to petco to keep my pets happy. Can you stop ads that cover game content and hold me hostage to that intrusion?

Not working. I received a message requesting me to contact the developers through the app, however, the app will not stay open long enough to do anything. It literally opens and in a flash shuts down. I’d love to get this game back. I loved this game and the challenge it offered on a daily basis, but for the past month or so it stopped performing well. The free hints wouldn’t register after watching a video ad, and then suddenly the app began to just close in the middle of a puzzle. Now when I try to open it, it opens and then immediately closes so it’s not functional at all. I’m very disappointed.

Problem with free hints. The App Store shows only reviews 1 yr, 2 yrs old. Why not recent reviews? No comments on the special Events or the Daily Challenges. Love this game, love the special Event easy puzzles that give free hints, love the daily challenge even if I lost my streak (2019) going to Europe and back. (I thought I had timed it right) I am piling up my hints for the upper levels for when I get there. I am so glad the problem with hints for ads got fixed. I now have over 1000 hints and am saving them up for the upper levels. I like that when I have solved a word, it stays there so I don’t have to rely on notes so much. (For the daily challenge I still need the notes until the day’s puzzle is solved. ) the daily challenge keeps me occupied so I seldom do anything on the “real” levels! The

Please Continue with Current Puzzle Writer. I love this game especially the themed events except they were getting fairly formulated & clear that the puzzle writer was “phoning it in” - words in the same places & using limited vocabulary. However, about a month ago there was a very noticeable change to the themed puzzles - whoever is writing them is AWESOME! They’re now challenging with different configurations & an expanded vocabulary - it seems the writer also takes the time to put in letters that can spell different words (brush & shrub) to make it even more challenging! And there's a new “all letters for one word level” similar to the daily puzzle but again much more challenging! Please have this writer work on the daily puzzle too as it seems like after 75 days the “big word” starts repeating. Please keep going in the direction of the last month for ALL puzzles as the themed puzzles - they’ve been so much fun!

Pleasantly Addictive. Many addictive games are mindless, but this one is mind -stretching. It keeps testing my word skills yet is fun. I also like that there is no time limit so I can be stumped for a while yet come back later and succeed. Update Thanksgiving 2017: A terrible restriction has been resolved and I am very thankful. It used to be that I could only play on my iPhone and progress would be lost if I switched to another device or even if I bought a replacement phone. Well, today that is fixed! Progress can be saved using Facebook and synched across all devices. And I am free to buy a new phone. Thank you WordBrain Team.

The words changed!. After this update the word changed! I was in the middle of Dinosaur 17 and installed the latest update. Now the words are different and I have to start over. I looked at Dino 16 and they've changed, too. Are they all changed? Do I start all over? Did you do this so the cheat sheets won't work? Update: per dev email, the changes are due to bug fixes and player feedback. Thanks for the reply! So I have feedback: can you move the hints button to the tope of the screen? I keep hitting it by accident. Or maybe add an "Are you sure" button so I can cancel after the accidental click. Thanks.

Addictive word game but update ruined. This is an addictive word game & great fun. But I got to the Minotaur level and with the last update I did on my IPhone with the 11.2.5 patch I could no longer see the puzzle. There were the blanks at the bottom but no letters. So I deleted it, reloaded it and started over from the beginning. Not happy. To add insult to injury the bonus hints wouldn’t accumulate beyond 10. No matter how many levels I go and how many hints it says I’ve added, the hint level stays at 10. I used 2 just to see if that made a difference and it doesn’t. It is stuck. Now I have 8 and they don’t accumulate. So bottom line is, the game is working but is still buggy. Not that the hints are needed at the levels I’m having to do over from the beginning but it’s disappointing. I don’t know if it’s the iPhone update or the app update but they are not compatible. Cannot speak for other devices or platforms.

Challenging and fun, sometimes annoying. The only part I don't care for and have found it very annoying is when I find two words that fit the puzzle and complete it fully, same amount of letters, connected and works with the swipes and the game has very specific words that are predetermined. Of course, I just relook at it and find the ones that the game says is right but it's annoying when the game doesn't calculate for the possibility that there are other words that could also solve the puzzle according to the prerequisite of one 4 letter word and one 5 letter word. ie... bread vs beard... both 5 letters both usually attainable by letter connection.

Constant ads killed this game. I have been a long time player of this game (over 2 years). It has helped pass the time on my relatively short train commute. However, the recent changes that give you a 30 second ad (i.e Angry Birds), that takes over the screen and audio after virtually every game action has rendered the game unplayable. I would play this game while listening to a podcast. After each 30 second video ad i would have to navigate over to the podcast to relaunch, then back to the game to solve a word, then have to sit through another 30 video ad for Angry Birds, then back to the podcast player to resume playback, then back to the game, and over and over again in a non-stop loop of back and forth between the game and podcast player. I get it that the game makers want you to pay them to make the ads go away but just keep this in mind when you decide to get started with this game. You may play for a while without the constant ad interruptions, but eventually you will be faced with only 2 options, either: a) pay them to make the ads go away temporarily, or b) quit the game entirely because the way it is now, with the constant ad interruptions, it is not an enjoyable way to pass the time.

Too many bugs. Glitches abound, although if you can figure out how to contact them, they will fix them and give you your hints (that is usually the issue). You have to watch ads to get hints, which is a pain, but it’s even worse when you watch an ad and then don’t get your hint! That’s been happening a lot lately. They say you can remove ads with a one time buy in, but they don’t say how you get hints if you do. Or how many you can get, etc. I’m still playing in the upper levels that are really hard, so it takes some hints to get through the levels in a reasonable amount of time. I also don’t like the way they apply the hints. I waste a lot of hints just trying to get the next letter in the word I’m working on. They automatically apply the next hints one letter in each word in order, so you have to get a hint in every word until you get back to the word you’re working on. Most of the time I don’t need those. You might have to use 20 hints to get the help you need on a word you’re really stuck on. Then you have so many hints in your other words that they’re not even challenging. It gets frustrating, but I still play some. Not like I would if they fixed some problems…

Arghhh!. I was not happy when you went to 8 puzzles on your challenges. You will not be surprised when I am furious that you have gone to 10 puzzles. You know, lives do require many other obligations. Not enjoying level 8 today. Completely & feeling are driving me crazy. I am pretty close to hitting delete. Update : you have finally pushed me over the edge to delete. I have played this game for years, but three words have become so ubiquitous that I will finish this review & delete. Those three words? VIDEO AVAILABLE SOON. I don’t call 8 hours soon. There are a few other frustrations as well, but those 3 words are the main reason. Goodbye & good luck!

Challenging. I just started playing and really enjoy this game. I wish you could earn more hints, as I find I need to use them more as the puzzles get bigger. I also wish you didn’t have to complete 20 games before getting some extra hints. Other than that I really enjoy playing. My one complaint is that when I first started playing you could get two free hints a day by playing a video. Those seem to have gone away, and Now you only get a hint by completely 20 levels, and as you progress further into the game if obviously gets much more challenging. I have bought hints once , when they were on sale, but I don’t normally spend money on games. Why did these free hints go away?

Could Use a Tweak. I recently started playing this game upon a recommendation from a friend. For some reason, the game wouldn't come up in the App Store. My friend deleted her app to try to find it again and she couldn't. Happily we finally were able to locate it. So it would behoove someone to make it easier to find the app. The other suggestion/complaint I have is that the game explanation/rules should be clearer on being able to go back and "undo" the game when a word is solved but the resulting letters are arranged in such a way that making the remaining word is impossible; e.g. One or two of the remaining letters is disconnected from the rest and, therefore, impossible to form a word. I used a few hints before I finally realized what was happening. Other than that, I'm very happy with this game. It's a nice break from the frustration of 4-suit Spider Solitaire. 2017 update. If this game could move with new hardware, it would be perfect. I am up to a very high level in this game but got a new iPad and the game won’t transfer over. As a result, I have to begin all over again. Not fun. So now I have to keep the old iPad for the sole purpose of playing the game and not losing my position. There should be a better way. The Apple people don’t support this app.

Great game held back by a few major issues. I’ve played Wordbrain for years, it’s a very fun game overall and I do enjoy it. However, there are two issues with it that really frustrate me. Firstly, the ads are constant and intrusive, sometimes I won’t even be able to close an ad without having to quit and restart the app entirely. However, I understand that ads are just a part of games nowadays. My main issue with Wordbrain is that, as someone who often needs to take flights and move across timezones, I can’t hold a daily challenge streak without it resetting every time I go on a plane. It’s extremely frustrating to spend weeks on keeping up with the daily challenges, only for it to be reset to zero once I arrive in a new time zone. Not sure if it’s a bug or not, but it’s really killed my desire to keep up with the challenges.

BEWARE !!!!!!!! I😄MY LAST LEVEL Is UNLOCKED A 5 NOW👏🏻. NEVER EVER go back to the beginning and punch any of the letters of the very first level because it locks you out of months worth of playing when you have accomplished high percentage of completion. I went back to show my Grandson how successful I had been and he started pushing the 4 letters word when I had accomplished many levels up to 13 or more letters to make one word. Of course, he is regretful and I am devastated. Up till tonight, I would have rated it a 10. It has been the best APP as far as a Word Challenge Game; but, to automatically lose where I had reached is ludicrous.

WAY TOO many ads now.... Use to enjoy but now there are a TON of ads. Yes, they need to make money. But, whereas ads used to appear between rounds, they now start with first moves of the game and then continue, often interrupting plays—multiple times. Also, I pity those who have difficulty with flashing elements; the lightbulb in upper right now flashes continuously, coaxing you to recommend friends. No chance with this present version. Coupled with flashing, hard-to-close ads, a once peaceful game is now distracting if not infuriating. Finally, a suggestion for developers: increase contrast between the close-out “x” and the backdrop. You’ve just ruled out an audience with vision/contrast difficulties as you try to redirect audiences to new products. Desperate developers don’t deserve customer loyalty. Time to find a new game!

Now unplayable. Nonstop ads and shady ad tactics.. This game was once our family obsession. Had beaten all the levels. Came back after two years, excited to play all the new levels and see all the updates, and it is essentially unplayable. So. Many. Ads. All the time. And with shady, money grubbing tactics. Overriding your mute settings, hidden or no x to close out the ad, misleading buttons in ads, longer ads than gameplay, ads popping up mid-play, just to name a few. At one point in time, I would have gladly paid for an ad-free version, but now there is no way I’m sending them any money. Their advertising tactics and the advertisers they work with are straight up the lowest of the low. So now, not only will I not support the advertisers, but I have no interest in supporting the developers because they have committed to this scammy revenue path. Deleting instead. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time on this app. It’s everything that’s wrong with in-app advertising. You’ll spend more time watching ads than playing, and it wont take long to go from “I should pay for the ad-free pack” to “this is beyond making a living, this is advertising extortion and I refuse to support it.”

Exercise Your Mind. This is a great game to mentally challenge yourself. You have to plan your words out because there is only one way to solve the puzzle. Although the app uses common, everyday words, it's amazing how challenging the levels can get. It is tempting to use your hints, but keep in mind that you only have so many of them. God sent his son, Jesus to die on the cross for your sins. If you would like to be saved from hell, you must admit that you are a sinner. Then, by faith, you must believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Next, it's a matter of confessing all your sins, asking Him to come into your heart, and making you a new creature.

hints. firstly, i love this game and have played it for quite a long time. the daily puzzles are wonderful as well. i enjoy the special events as well such as the most recent new years event. i purchased hints to first stop the ads but to also get that extra help when needed. my only issues are the amount of free hints received after completion of a level (mermaid, alien, etc..) and completion of a special event. it seems out of balance to receive only 3 hints after completing a set of 20 levels. some of those levels really hurt my brain (in a good way:)) it also never made sense to me to only receive 5 hints after collecting all of the rockets i did during the new years events. it would be an awesome bonus if the amount of hints received matched the amount of objects collected during the special events for the daily puzzles, it would also be great if there were hint rewards for completing X amount of days with increasing rewards for increasing days thanks for the game!

Addicting… but the ads —. EDIT: after the most recent update, I can’t even enjoy playing. I find a word, it plays an ad; I finish a level, it plays an ad; I switch to another app for five seconds and come right back, it plays an ad; I reset a level, it plays an ad. Almost NONE of these ads have the option to skip them, so for every step I take in the game, I have to sit through 20-30 seconds of advertisement. I understand having ads in a free game, but this is ridiculous!! Please fix it! I love word games, and after my husband asked my help on a level of this game, I decided to try it for myself. After downloading, I played for two hours straight before I realized it.

Lots of fun!. This is a really fun and educational app. Every once in a while, I run into a puzzle that I get stuck on but it improves your problem solving skills and after just taking a break from it, you can usually figure it out. I recommend getting it. The only issue I have run into is the hints. I ran out of hints and you can get more by buying them, watching videos, or suggesting the game to a friend. If you send the suggestion to a friend and they download the app, you are supposed to get 3 hints. Unfortunately, when i suggested the app, my friend got it but I never got my 3 hints. I haven't had any other issues though and that was the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Totally recommend though. That accident may have just been a flunk.

Super fun and challenging. Updatedeux: I purchased so no ads but now I'm annoyed by the animations after solving each puzzle. When will game creators realize that sometimes we just want to play and don't need cheesy animations🤯 Update: I hate that if the sound is off in settings, the ads still play w sound. There needs to be a way to keep ALL sounds off if you want it off! Also: TOO MANY ADS! We should be able to play at least 2 or three games before having to sit through an ad again- not EVERY GAME! I sometimes solve a puzzle in 30 seconds then sit through an ad as long as the game I just played👎 I actually lost friends playing Words with Friends because I always won. I love this game because I don't have to lose friends and it is still challenging and fun.

Mind boggling. I really enjoy this app. It makes you think! I play it when I'm frustrated to ease my mind and just focus on something different yet challenging. I've seen others say certain puzzles are not solvable but so far I haven't experienced that. It all in how you solve some of the puzzles... You'll need to go in order. Like I said, I love it. What I don’t like is that it’s 20 long puzzles before getting to the next level. That’s a bit much. I can see 10 but 20 is just too much and takes a while. Which sometimes makes me just close out because I don’t feel like going 20 rounds.

Inconsistent. Have enjoyed this game although, as others have mentioned, there are a ridiculous number of repetitive ads. But the biggest thing gripe I have is that the prompt to “undo” (the red arrow that appears if you’ve blocked yourself from making more words) has become inconsistent at the higher levels. Sometimes it doesn’t show up, even though there is no ability to make other words because of the order in which the first words were solved. This is obviously some kind of design error and, after encountering the problem several times, I’m thinking it is time to abandon the game. I regret having spent any money on the early stages of a game I now likely won’t continue.

Wordathon. My mind has to jump from one technique to another. First to find the correct words then to negotiate the right sequence to solve the puzzle . My spelling is also being challenged! Great feeling of satisfaction when completed. Regardsbinxbinx

Addictive brain exercise. This games is fun, challenging, and addictive. I play it whenever I can. But recently they introduced ads...and it is very frustrating. There’s just too many of them, interrupting game play. I would happily buy the game to get rid of them, but that doesn’t seem to be an option. Would have been a 5 star review without the ads. Edit: I discovered the option to purchase the ad removal kit. Happy now.

Great gym session for your brain. Fabulous session of word puzzles but one thing I would enjoy to see is when the 10 bonus words are reached an extra point should be appointed.

Brain exercise!. Simple to start with then gets you really thinking on later levels. Sometimes you have one word but the remaining letters won’t form another word, so you have to redo the first word but with different letter order to allow for the next. Often can see a word but it’s not the correct one for the puzzle so you have to think a little more.

Addictive. I love this game. However, it can be frustrating because you can see the words but often have to go back and swipe the letters differently. That is the challenge. Good Luck!

Good one. A challenging game but you can come back and continue where you left off at any time. You can play for hours or minutes and it is always new.

Update on WordBrain. Did my update today for latest version in the App Store and now the game WordBrain will not even open. I have been playing it for a couple of years now so I have progressed a long way and do not want to start again. Some help please.

Word Brain. Fascinating game! One of the best features is that it uses common everyday frequently used words this is part of the appeal and a little of the frustration when you struggle to find a word and when you do discover it it is an everyday word. Well done.

Great game trashed by ads. I have enjoyed WordBrain for about 3 years, but lately the constant interference by ads has absolutely destroyed the game - can get one or two words without an ad being forced against my will. Goodbye WordBrain, hope your developers donate to a worthy charity!

Past the halfway mark, 2 years in..... Absolutely hooked! Getting ridiculously hard, and I’m only at Yeti level....so many more still to crack, but I hack away at it every day 😬

Frustrating glitch. I have been enjoying this game for many months now. It’s a great workout for the brain. However, since the latest update, 1.44.6 the app doesn’t open anymore. It just stays on the opening “Mag interactive” page. I will be very disappointed if I lose my accumulated sequence of days because of this glitch.

WordBrain. I continually enjoy the challenges presented by this game. I find it stimulating and at times, frustrating - especially working out how the letters need to fall to the completion of each game. Thank you for providing this entertainment.

Need more. Very addictive. You simply want to keep working your way through. Can easily loose track of time whilst being totally engrossed. Amazed at how many words are in our language that we don't use often.

A challenge for all ages. This game has occupied my seven year old grandson and myself (79) for the past two years now every week almost. We find it absolutely fascinating and very challenging. It has taught my grandson and his two older brothers and improved their spelling skills amazingly

Review. Completely love this little game some of these have taken me days on and off to figure out! Fantastic brain teasers :) ok editing because of a feature that has been added and I can’t stand it...the hint button KEEPS FLASHING!!! It’s a weird pulse. Please stop it from flashing it’s super distracting I can’t play!!!!! Oh and the ads in the middle of the game are extremely annoying. How rude, wait until my level is complete at least sheesh.

Great game!. By far the best word puzzle game I've ever played on the Ipad and phone. It definitely gets harder the more you progress. So many other word games are relatively easy, but not this one. Generic words that can be super hard to find. I love it!

My boys and I love it. We play it together and when we’re stuck, ask my hubby to work it out and he works it out after taking one glance. Not saying it’s easy - you just have to look away occasionally to see the words pop out at you.

Freezing issues. Been playing for years. Love the challenge but it is constantly now freezing when I try to choose words. Will only o Allow a letter or two and not go any further. Very frustrating and extra time consuming when I just want to spend a few minutes on the next challenge. Hope this can be addressed promptly.

Very challenging. I think you should add bonus points for each extra word you rather than just the 10. Enough bonus points give you a hint. And am I the only person playing at Bigfoot level? It keeps saying only one other p,Ayer who I thought might be yourselves?

Great fun but addictive!. This is a good game - you get "warmed up" in the initial levels with easy words and smaller words but each of the stages (with animal/fish names) has 20 levels and gets harder and the words longer as you progress through the levels and stages. There are hints to be used when you get stuck and more (3 per level) to be won or purchased.

Nelli 71. Please help. I’m stuck on a puzzle in whale. I know all the words. I did all the words in order, cyclops, cactus, no, chin, but it won’t let me do trowel. I’ve tried doing it in a different order, but it won’t work.

Addictive. I downloaded this app on a whim as I saw it on Facebook. I was hooked straight away! I love the challenge of WordBrain and now my two boys play it. It has helped my five year old’s spelling immensely. It can be extremely frustrating when you can’t solve it, especially if you have no hints! This would be five stars if it weren’t for the excessive ads. Thanks for a great game!

Couples game. Best word game ever, we have been playing for years. Great when travelling, we fill in the waiting time easily. I have introduced to lots of friends and my grandchildren are starting to try and solve the puzzles.

Love the game, Hate the ads. Love Wordbrain and been playing it for years but recently the ads have really ramped up and interfere with the thinking. Awful!!! Am seriously looking to abandon this game due to constant interfering of ads and also promotion of other games with sound you can’t turn off! My favourite word game!. I love Word Brain, the challenge, the fun of playing, of earning points in the special events, and being rewarded with bonus hints. I’ve reached Raven level 18, and am keen to progress further. And I also enjoy the daily challenge. However, I’ve been unable to access your page since late on Friday evening…the MAG interactive screen opens, and there it stays! I can get no further. Since this time, the page has opened three times to the options, I’ve clicked on the Krazy Kats section, and the page froze. Once it opened for me, I got all excited…but then it froze. This is SO frustrating. I’ve loved all the special events, but have only managed to earn a few points in Krazy Kats. I do hope you’re able to suggest a solution for me.

Used to be better. Loved this game but they’ve now inserted 30sec ads you can’t stop but have to wait until they’ve finished. Worse these come up after you have found your first word and interrupt the games esp during the fun seasonal specials. Getting very annoying

Game is good, but....... (Updated) Getting the app to reflect i had paid to remove advertising across multiple devices was not the easiest thing to achieve but i did get finally get there; with some direction from support. (I would suggest though that the contact support option be more visible, as I ended up going to the website to find an email I could use. There was nothing I could find in the help section with an actual contact email address). I do recommend the game itself though!

Fantastic. Love this game. Challenges the brain every step of the way but never lets you get stuck for long. Puzzle of the day gets my adrenaline pumping when its a few minutes to midnight and I have one last chance to solve it.

WordBrain. Great game but recently been inundated with annoying Uber eat ads after every single game round! My phone & iPad are on silent but the sound still comes on at full volume. Frustrating that the ad can’t be muted! I have my devices on silent so as not to disturb those around me. You need to fix this! Lately finding I get pop up ads frequently even if I just leave the game for a second & go back, yet I’m waiting all day for a rewarded video to be available so I can complete a daily challenge. Today it just keeps saying “video available soon” all day! Very disappointing as I’m stuck on the last 2 words & will lose my good run 🙁

Challenging. Keeps the brain moving. One of the best word games in the App Store. If you don’t want to spend money to play you don’t have to which is a change form a lot of the offerings out there.

My new fave word game!. It would be nice that when I get the 10 words that aren’t in the puzzle I get a hint. Also, with the daily word challenge what about a free hint after maybe 7 in a row? There’s got to be an incentive to come back.

Great for exercising the “grey matter”!. This game is very similar to many in the word game genre. They are all based on the same word search / swipe method & many are pretty much “clones” of each other! The “feel” (set up) of this game is just slightly different though, & that makes it quite challenging (even very hard!) at times! You can’t really shuffle letters, there is a shuffle function but so far (the levels I’m on) it does not work for me! So you need to find the word as it sits! This means you also need to find words in sequence to be able to get them out and finish the level. It can be quite challenging! It’s a good workout for the “grey matter” at times! You certainly need hints (well I have) as you start progressing up levels! Unless your willing to pay you’ll have to watch an ad etc & wait about 20 mins between free chances of getting hints, which can be a pain! Finding the extra words to get a gold star in the puzzles, daily challenges etc are nice extra challenges. It can be frustrating (as hell!) at times, but great when you finally work a puzzle etc out. All round a great challenging game to make you think & learn.

Whale level 10. Not sure if has happened to anybody else but I can't get past level 10 whale..the letters are all wrong the words are meant to be plum,centre,medicine and panties but there is no 's' and there is a k and a 'y'..I can't go any further can this be fixed !

Jeu Word brain. Ça fait plusieurs année que je joue quotidiennement à ce jeu de mots. J’aime son niveau de difficulté. Par contre je ne peux pas avoir accès à des indices quand je veux visualiser des publicités, il n’y a pas. Avant c’était très facile d’avoir des indices.

Ads too long and frequent. Fun game but can only get through one or two words then an ad pops up , Facebook ad is extremely long and irrelevant but it plays frequently destroying the enjoyment of this game. I may discontinue playing, not worth it

Ads. I have not been able to get any hints at all for days now. No ads to watch. Just keeps saying no ads available.

Glitch. Good Afternoon I really enjoy the challenge of playing WordBrain, but don’t appreciate needing to use hard earned hints to solve a puzzle when it is impossible to solve given the pattern I have used and the reset has not activated to alert me to start over. Hints. I have had numerous occasions lately where hints are NOT rewarded. Specifically those that have narrow ads that say open like the landscaping ads. You owe me at least 10!

Tone down the ads please. Great game but too many persistent ads- that is very annoying. Don’t mind some but after every turn is way too much

Crashing constantly lately. Play this game daily ... usually just the puzzle of the day ... but it’s good and a bit of a challenge. But the stability has decreased lately. To the point that it is crashing constantly. Definitely prefer this version to WordBrain 2 but the crashing is infuriating.

Smart game helps me a lot. When my mom says how about this app I said yes it was very good app

Not good game. Annoying and not relaxing. To finish the levels or events you have to find the words but when you choose one letter that works but not meant to be for that word you will have to start all over. There is no option to move one step back. It is annoying and not fun do the same level 10+ times from begin because developer designed that way.

Too frustrating. I have been playing this game for years, the latest Summer Event keeps building longer and longer words into 10 puzzles, without multiplying the reward. I currently have 640 ‘bonus’ points…what is endgame, to get loyal participants to pay for more and more clues at huge expense. This is my last game with you, I am forever deleting this game and any other Mag games on my device.

Fun game but.... It is very difficult to exit out of an advertisement when ad has concluded. Hit the ‘x’ 10 or more times and the ad refuses to exit. This is a recent issue for me. I get that ads are here to pay for the free option but after watching a 30 second ad the player should be able to hit the exit ‘x’ button on first attempt.

Challenges. The only reason I try your challenges that go on for weeks is at the end I get hints based I assume on how many I complete. This time I received NONE. What’s up with that. Won’t do anymore

Great. Great puzzles now that you’ve started doing them again. It’s literally the only one I at every day. Couple notes though… it would be great if you going brighten the background colours and get rid of the floating stars or other distracting graphics during play. It’s really hard on the eyes!!

Disappointment. I have been playing this game for more then five years now. I lost all my progress, my almost 300 hints and my daily puzzle overview due to an update with my phone!! I can’t even download it back on my phone I am just disappointed and frustrated!! I tried contacting the manufacture of the app but who knows where they are located and they are out of reach. My advise is don’t play this game any more because when at the end you will be very disappointed… I give a zero star or even a negative one

It wasn’t working online, but then…. …the developers answered with a new update that fixed the problem! Great support for a great game!

Word brain. Enjoy the game and special events BUT the casino ads and others won’t get deleted at all. I thought the maximum time for ads was 30 seconds!, Really really disappointed as this game has those ads

Really great game!. But I just got a new iPad and my game won’t open, annoying because I am now on lizard! Don’t really want to start over from the beginning. So I finally got the game working, by uninstalling and reinstalling. But I have to say my original version was much better, no annoying ads that I don’t even pay attention to!

Event Games - incomplete levels. Supposed to have 10 levels - and have done forever - lately only 7 of 10 levels load. Google can help if stuck on a level - also shows 10 levels while game only shows 7. Sent email to app mail t - no response.

WordBrain. This is the most interesting and challenging game I have ever found since desktop and laptops first appeared!!!

Fantastic game, if only.... I love it and have also started to play WordBrain 2, which I also like very much. However, a couple of points 1. Recently you added ads that intrude on the game sometimes after each correct word. This can be very annoying especially if you need to refresh because some words can be satisfied with different sets of letters. 2. Because of 1 above and also independently, it would be nice if one could go back and remove one word at a time in reverse order, rather than having to restart from the top. 3. It would also be very nice if you can display words already found in dimmed form like you do in WordBrain 2. Thank you Waguih Boctor. New review. I took care of 1 by purchasing some hints, and you have implemented 3, thank you very much. It would be very much appreciated if you can also implement 2 above.

Love the game- BUT. I have been playing Word Brain for a very, very long time. The ads one watches to earn free clues have started to freeze, and no clue can be awarded. I have taken screen shots of the frozen screens, but there is no way to email tech support at Mag Interactive. The ads that have failed so far are the traffic game ad and the car parking ad. I would miss this game terribly if I had to stop playing it. However, the time wasted on this issue is ridiculous and frustrating. Please address this issue. Thank you.

Fun game with questionable customer service. Loved this game for years and had made a ton of progress (not easy!). Ran into a glitch and followed the “help” instructions for a fix which TOTALLY wiped out everything and started me from scratch as if I’d never played before. I was told there was nothing that could be done since I hadn’t connected the game to Facebook. Allegedly as a nice gesture customer service said they would restore my ad-free purchase...but then insisted I locate my purchase receipt in order for them to do that. Very annoyed that I followed their instructions and was asked to do more to plow through all my Apple receipts so they could do something nice as an apology.

New IPad and lost hints. I had to get a new iPad. When I logged into WordBrain, I saw that I had lost all my hard earned hints and was back down to level one. I was unaware of saving my points on Facebook. I emailed support and told them that I had lost my 103 hints. I could no longer get my IPad back from Apple to login into Facebook from that device. Support kindly restored my hints at 4 times the original amount. Now I can hopefully get back to where I left off. Thank you WordBrain support.

Love the game, but programming is inconsistent. Great game that gets more difficult as you progress. Hints are important. Be patient and save them! But how hints are received is inconsistent. The game used to let me watch two advertisements to get two hints a day. Now, nothing. My wife never got the adds and therefore didn't get the hints. Side games allow us collect more hints during holidays/special times of year, but once, after playing a side game, I received no reward. Fix these issues, be consistent, and they've got a perfect game!

Wordbrain. Very clever game. I keep getting better all the time. It’s entirely too long., We have lives, don’t you know, work all day , eat, take care of things that need to be done in and around the house. We were up sometimes till 11 pm because of a busy day. Ruined our sleep time. We don’t appreciate how much of our free time we use to do them. Also not long enough of a respite before the next one. I’m about to quit. We liked it when you had the daily plays and could choose to do the more difficult one if we wanted. Have some consideration for people’s time, please. Judy

Fun game, but.... I enjoy this game very much. The ads are annoying, but that’s why it’s free, so I get it. My frustration is that I USED to be able to get a free hint by watching an ad every so often. That has apparently been turned off now. This makes the game easier to skip, because I don’t like watching my carefully hoarded hints diminishing. Please bring back that capability! I’m in very high levels of difficulty, where hints make a huge difference, but now I can’t get a free hint, not one in the past couple of weeks!

Reached a stalemate. I have been playing this game for a year now, and I have progressed quite far. But suddenly, I have reached a puzzle for which there is absolutely no way to solve it. I easily found all of the required words but there is just no possible way to connect them in this particular puzzle. I have completed hundreds of the puzzles with the longest ones taking about 20 minutes. I have been on this particular puzzle for over two weeks and have come to the conclusion that it cannot be solved. The worst part is that the app won’t allow me to skip past this puzzle, so I guess I have come to the end of the road with it. Too bad.

Too many ads. I’ve been playing for a couple of years and really like the game, but now there are way too many ads. The unobtrusive persistent ad banner along the bottom is fine, but now ads interrupt in the middle of the game. Also, the holiday challenge and daily puzzle have five levels, and there are 30-second ads after almost every level-the ads are longer than it takes to solve the levels. Also, the game forces you to look at the “buy hints!” menu by blocking the screen. It’s obnoxious. On the positive side, the addition of the gold star words is great, it would be cool if you gave a free hint for getting all ten.

This is is good brain taxing word game. As with all things free, you will be fed ads to annoy the hell out of you, but to fix that just pay for it. I have been playing for about 4 years. 5he major thing that frustrates me is I woul like to finish the game but when ever you get to 78 or 75% done more levels are added. I think it would be better to have an end level and then a selection to “Play more” so you haven’t the sense of achievement of finishing. Currently on the “Goblin 8960”level.

Free hints. I love the game and play it all the time. You offer free hints by looking at ads but for days on end if I try to go there it just says video available soon but it doesn’t change and therefore there is no way to get the ad to get that free hint. Having to wait 20 minutes for the next chance is fine and that works but not being able to get a video at all is frustrating. Hope this gets fixed.

Video won’t load and game has to be restarted.. Maybe it is because no ads are available, but it does not say that anywhere, and it has been happening all week. Don’t see any other forum for submitting problems that are not addressed in the settings section of the game. Otherwise, I would have rated five stars. Revised rating from 3 to 5 stars after videos started working. Not sure if support team intervened or problem just fixed itself. Fun game!

Latest update making my phone extremely hot. I LOVE this game and am very far into it. However the latest version make my phone so hot when playing it renders it unusable after 10-15 minutes. Something has changed because in the several years I have been playing the app, it has never done this. It is also eating up my battery which has changed within the last 10 days and Wordbrain now uses the most by far. Can you please look at what it being crunched in the background? I can’t even play right now. The stars are purely a reflection of this latest release. Hoping this will be addressed so I can get back to enjoying playing my favorite word game.

Update needs some tweaking. Been playing this game for a long time, but now with your recent update I am getting AD’S popping up that I had opted out (and paid for) from probably at least a year or more ago!! Please fix, they are most annoying!! Sent this review back in July 2018, after your update...here it is August 21, 2018 and I haven’t seen any changes. Really love playing, a few times everyday, but I AM REALLY TIRED of all these ads that I had all ready opted out of. PLEASE FIX!

Donut challenge flaw. Donut challenge as well as any of the previous challenges has an issue as you progress through the levels. For example: when you finish a level brainy congratulates you but then the screen freezes and doesn’t go to the next level or even the ad (if you play without paying to get rid Of ads) Therefore for each level you need to close the game, and reload it. Frustrating, irritating and just plain ridiculous. Please fix and be aware of this issue for future challenges. Thank you.

Word brain hints. Love the game, but have become very frustrated as I watch the ads and then click on the X and don’t get any hint. Have to wait another 20 minutes and try again. Hopefully it will work. This is something that it has just been doing the last couple of weeks. Needs fixing. Please. The 5 short games each day were a lot fun, but the 10 short games each day now are very difficult.

same device, progress lost. A recent required reset of my phone left me with a complete loss of WordBrain progress. I’m using the same device. So, per WordBrain documentation, I should just reinstall and pick up where I left off - WRONG! With the incessant advertising, one might assume the developers could afford development to track a single highest completed level index in correlation to the user’s Apple ID - again WRONG (never assume.) Be prepared to lose all game progress if you have to change your device or even reset the same device. I wish someone had steered me clear of this game up front. If you have not started playing this game, just move on and avoid all the future frustration. Connect to game center, not Facebook money grubbers!!!

Winners getting cheated. I’m on the Bigfoot level. Minotaur indicated that only one other person has solved and I solved the level and it still says one person. It’s not counting me as a winner and increasing the number of people to two. Also I had been asked to do a survey midstream of a level for 15 free hints. It took 10 minutes to do and I never got the free hints. I’m about ready to dump this. It’s disappointing to have stuck with this for so long and receive no credit for completing a level. Where’s the fun if your completion isn’t counting? I’ve let 24 hours pass to see if my completion would count and still nothing. Developers... please fix

Too many ads!!!!. I don’t know what happened, but in the last couple updates the ads have gotten out of control! I don’t mind them between games and I like that I can choose to watch one for a hint. But I can’t stand that they randomly pop up while I’m in the middle of a game. And they’re long! It’s really super duper seriously frustrating! Please fix this. I love this game but lately I tend to choose other games because I don’t want to deal with the excessive ads.

Ads get more aggressive as you go. I loved the game for the first several weeks. The difficulty level is just right so that I am not bored by how easy it is or bored because it is so hard that I don’t make progress. At first the only ads were a video at the end of each round and a banner at the bottom of the screen. Then it started to have a video every time you find a word and a banner in the middle of the page (blocking content) for several seconds at a time. Now every time I find a word, I sit through a video and then a banner ad appears in the middle of the screen. It doesn’t go away until I click on it or report it as blocking content. At that point I have to sit through the same video as that I just saw, before I can go back to playing the game. I understand ads are what enable the game to be free, but at 23% complete it’s just about at the point of no longer worth it.

So many problems. There have been just too many problems to make the game fun anymore. I don’t have issues with any other game I have downloaded. I am on an iPad with current software. I update the app every time an update is available. 1. It crashes a lot. Having to restart my iPad every time I play (per support) is just bad software. That’s like having to tune your car every time you drive it. I am guessing the game is either very inefficient software that uses too many resources and doesn’t clean up after itself or it is doing a lot of tracking that is using resources. Or it is just buggy software that nobody fixes. 2. I watch the ads for points. Often the ads crash. Every second or third ad gives no reward although the timer to the next ad has restarted its countdown. Other games don’t seem to have this problem. Games are supposed to be fun and relaxing and this one used to be, but it has become too frustrating.

Game is not broken, but please check the instructions.. My first review: Octopus level 3 puzzle has EARTH in, but no possible way to get the letters in order. Game needs. A bypass button so you can dump the faulty puzzle and continue. Made the game unplayable for a year. The developer contacted me and let me Know that the words needs to be solved in order. For the help, I added a * to the review. I went back to look at the game instructions, and I didn’t find that little tidbit. It would be a nice update to add this to the instructions.

Jack Suds. Great game but after it updated November 28th I can't open the app. It's says waiting on the app the last 2 days. I don't want to delete the app because I don't want to start all over and lose 349 hints I collected. I would like your help in figuring this out. I don’t mind ads, but….. I really don’t mind supporting app developers through ads, but lately the ads in this app have gotten ridiculous. Over the past several weeks the same video pops up 4-5 times/day when I’m playing, every day. 1) it’s annoying to keep getting an ad for something I’ll probably never support. 2) You are losing click revenue from ads I might actually find interesting. 3) Most long video ads have a FF icon to skip out of them… but of course this one does not, so aim forced to waste your ad time, and mine, on a worthless ad.

Recent changes have ruined the game. This is a great game. My kids even love it, especially the special seasonal puzzles. Slowly they’ve been adding more and more commercials and it has basically ruined the experience. Now after every puzzle, and sometimes in between words within the same puzzle, there are 30 second commercial spots that cannot be bypassed. This means for a simple seasonal puzzle I sit through about 5 minutes of commercials for 2 minutes of game play. I know the developers have to get paid, and I didn’t have a problem seeing an ad now and then, but at this level the game is not playable and I don’t want my kids seeing all these ads. Will sadly be uninstalling. Shame because I really enjoyed the game.

Word game is very challenging. I enjoy this game more than any other game that I play.. My husband and I have been playing word game for a while now. Lately when we try to get free hints by watching the required adds, nothing happens. I have in the last week alone watched at least ten adds, and then there is no free hint. I haven’t found an email for the company to inform them of this, which is infuriating. I’m hoping someone at this company reads reviews to take care of this. For this reason, I can’t give a favorable review.

Love it but my phone overheats. I am addicted to this game but my only issue is this is the ONLY app I use that overheats my phone. I read up on what could cause this issue and discovered this can be an issue if the app has bugs or problems and is overusing my processor. Recommended resolution was to install updates, which my phone does automatically or put my phone on airplane mode...It is highly annoying so I wish they would fix the issues so I can continue playing without this problem!

Can’t erase progress. Have played this game for years and love it. I’ve deleted and reloaded the app to start over many times. Since progress is now stored in the cloud, my progress comes back when reloaded. I’ve reached a level where the puzzle is so large and the boxes are so small it’s impossible to play, even with my little finger! My iPhone 7 does not allow me to delete data and documents as recommended at iPhone help. Please build something into the app to delete cloud data so players can reload the game and start over.

Bug fix needed. I’ve been playing this game for a number of years and I love the daily puzzle. The issue is that I travel a lot and realized every time I switch time zones it resets my daily streak to zero... I was on a 36 day streak and traveled to Utah, as soon as I landed it reset the daily puzzle which I’d already completed and told me I had a 0 day streak. Over the past few months it seems to happen every time I change time zones. Please fix this issue... Outside of that I love this game!

Daily puzzle glitch. I have really enjoyed playing this game, especially the daily puzzle and special seasonal event games. However, I’ve noticed in the past few months that when I have a streak of consecutive daily puzzles, I’ll sign in and the daily puzzle will be suddenly reset to a 0 game streak. I know that I have played every day, so I’m at a loss as to why this is happening. It makes the game less fun to play, otherwise this would have been a five-star review.

Pop ups WITH SOUND. I enjoy this game for the mental aerobics it requires. I even appreciate the relentless pop-ups because I use the free version and know the bills have to get paid, BUT I can’t handle pop up ads that come with full volume music. My phone is on constant silent mode, so loud, obnoxious music is startling, irritating, and unnecessary. It would be rude of me to play this game at night, in bed, next to a sleeping human, whom I love, so, I unfortunately, will not be playing this game anymore.

Poor choice of holiday words. I wish I could give this 5 stars as I love playing the WordBrain and WordBrain II holiday/seasonal games. However, I really question their word choice sometimes. For example, today is the first day of the Holiday/Christmas Challenge for 2020 and the first word of the first puzzle is “death”. Really??? You couldn’t have picked a more appropriate word for a joyous season? Unfortunately the words death and hate appear frequently in these holiday/seasonal puzzles and I would encourage the makers to consider their word choices more thoughtfully. I have never questioned the word choices in the Word Brain II puzzles so why the disconnect with Word Brain?

Fun but discouraging. I’ve been playing this game for almost two years. It got progressively harder but I felt accomplished when I made it to 75% complete. Then they added a whole bunch of new levels! The higher levels are WAY harder than the previous levels, and they don’t accurately report the number of people who have complete the levels. I do like the game but it’s discouraging to work so hard to get to a high level only to be knocked back down a notch because they expanded the game.

Option to remove ads please!. I’ve been playing this game EVERYDAY for the past 2 years. While it can be addictive, it doesn’t demand too much attention so it’s perfect for the casual gamer who just needs to kill a little time during a lull. What annoys me though is the amount of video ads which play with sound even when my phone is silent! I’m a loyal fan of this game so please offer the option to pay for an ad-free experience!

What the heck?. I have been playing WordBrain for a very long time. It has always been one of my favorites!!! Now, however, when I watch an ad to get a hint has the ad WILL NOT GO AWAY!!! It, apparently, is trying to force me to go to the product site! Flashlights, body building, car wax!!!! I WILL NOT EVER EVER BE HELD HOSTAGE AND FINALLY CAVE IN BECAUSE THE AD REFUSES TO GO AWAY. I think this is so disappointing!!! I actually left the page up while I went to the store and when I got home it was still there!! No hint — No playing WordBrain!

Challenging and Fun!. I have been playing for several months now and continue to like this game. Sure, ads can be annoying, but they can be skipped fairly quickly. Plus hints can be earned by choosing to watch a brief add. And I like the occasional challenges that occur where you get to guess some smaller puzzles to earn extra hints. And, the library of puzzles is quite large. Lastly, I find the graphics and navigation to both be well done! This is my favorite word game!

Hints. You always were able to hints all throughout the days but lately they have not. I bought 200hints and got 200 hints and wasted them on the daily challenge puzzle thinking that would give some hints but it did not. So now working on the main game when you can use hints then just keep saying the video will be ready soon. What is up. I really enjoy your game but I am retiring and do not extra money to spend on hints. Please make them more plentiful again. Thanks.

About WordBrain. I think Word brain is so fun for kids and grownups too! I’m a kid that is 8 years old and Word brain can be very difficult but it’s really cool and it makes my brain stronger and all the levels are interesting because there is this one level that is a robot zombie, a unicorn, a zombie, a robot and much more like a vampire!! I hope this confines you to give Word Brain a try! It’s really fun and sure, the levels get harder but that’s what makes your brain stronger! Hope you guys all like Word Brain!

Put the Words in Order of Completion. I enjoy playing the game and it definitely is a mental workout. However, some of the puzzles are incredibly difficult when you have no idea where to start. It would be helpful if the tiles were arranged in an order that wasn’t in conflict with how the words are developed to complete the puzzle. For example, if there’s a 7 letter word that must be discovered before I can successfully complete the 5 letter word, then the blank tiles for the 7 letter word should be placed before the blank tiles for the 5 letter word.

I love it. I lost my brother a few months ago, I could not concentrate I destroyed my old iphone because I was drunk and angry about everything. I still could not concentrate, I had this app on my old phone. I needed to help my brain so I download it again and bought more hints. I feel my memory and concentración is getting better. Thank you mother flowers who built it. Gracias I hope this app can expand in Spanish and all languages. Thank you again.

Couple of Difficulties. I’ve been playing this game for years. I love the “Brainy” series of finding clues that lead to getting hints, but there are several ads that freeze the game, so I usually exit the app before I’ve finished all the levels. Same with the Daily Puzzle. When the ads don’t have a way to leave, I just quit playing. Some ads won’t let you close them until you “play” their game, which is totally frustrating. If I wanted to play their game, I wouldn’t be playing WordBrain. Anyway, keep putting the “Brainy” series up, and I’ll try to get past the 4th level without an ad freezing the game.

Wordbrain. I began word brain a while back. I introduced it to many of my friends and family. Life became chaotic and I paused from doing it for sometime. I kept the game on my phone though. Recently my brother called bragging about how intellectually stimulating he finds it. He has been doing it since I introduced it to him. So guess what? I jumped right in and resumed the game. It’s time consuming but I am enjoying it so much. I love it a lot!!!’

WordBrain Robot. I love playing WordBrain. It helps me to sharpen my ability to spell names correctly. It is not easy...but it is challenging. It keeps my mind more active and by doing this, I’ve heard this game helps to prevent Alzheimer’s. Thus, even though this game is not easy to play, I like the positive benefits of learning to sharpen my spelling ability and to prevent Alzheimer’s disease...these are only a few if it’s benefits. There are many more, which makes this game worth the time and energy it takes to play it!!!

Great workout for your brain!. I love challenges and always think they're fun! This game starts off very easy, but then it gets more difficult. Sometimes I get frustrated when I can't solve a level, but then when you do you feel like you've accomplished something big in your life:) This game is totally awesome and it's a great exercise for your brain! I love how you get hints for every level so it's fair game. Whenever you're bored, this is a game you should play to pass time. You won't regret it. I didn't. ❤️

Increasingly disappointed. I have enjoyed the game for several years now, but over that past several months, it has become increasingly slow, unresponsive to the touchscreen, and, as some others have mentioned, my iPhone is heating up during use. No other apps are behaving this way. I’m copying someone else’s review when I say, “It really has become too painfully slow to enjoy”, and I have decided to delete it. Also, as so many others have mentioned, there is an increasingly annoying number of ads, some which ignore the phone silent mode. We should all reasonably expect to see ads in a free app, but the ads in this game are endless and disruptive.

THEY PROMISE TO FIX IT, BUT DON’T 🙄. I like the game, but it has so many glitches, it’s almost NOT worth it. I’ve submitted Problem-Reports; they actually responded, but never seem to get the problems fixed ! There are ways to ask fo “Free-Hints”,, which require tolerating a vid-ad,, but literally half of the time, they neglect to give you the “Free-Hint”,, and there’s a time-limit that you have to wait, to get another hint; So, you’ve watched several ads,, but don’t receive the “hint”! And very-often, the ads ‘freeze’, and you have to turn-off/ on, reset your Pad/Cel/Tablet/ Computer❗️ 😠 If this isn’t fixed soon,,, I’m ditching it❗️

Lost hints. I had to download the game again because the game would not load and your tech had no solution. This meant paying for no adds again. It also meant losing paid for hints and days played which was over a year. I opened the game this morning and a new event is advertised and the ongoing game is gone. So all the earned hints will not be rewarded. My frustration has grown with this game because no videos available for free hints for a whole day or more. Why is this upsetting to me because I was that sucker who paid the bucks for hints again and again. Now it just never works without some type of glitch. I am tired of this game being such a disappointment.

A Real Brain Tease. This game challenges your intellectual ability more and more as the game progresses. You not only need to figure out the words, but also how to arrange them in the order the game demands. It’s a complex puzzle much like trying to figure out a winning chess move. The “hints” you can earn become more necessary as the game becomes more difficult. Not for the faint of heart or for those who give up easily. Really frustrating when you get stuck, but really satisfying when you get it right.

Great App!. A great app and very addicting. As you progress through the Word puzzles the app gives you opportunities to accumulate free hints by watching short videos. The only problem I am having is that most of the time after watching a video it fails to give me my hints. I have an iPhone running iOS 10. I don't know if the problem is with the operating system or with the app itself. But for every hint that I acquire there are at least four that I don't get.

I'm a WordBrain Champ!. I began playing WordBrain at some point back in early to mid-2015, and once I started, I quickly realized that I would not stop playing until I finished every level. And finish every level I did! I took me quite some time... several months as I recall. But I solved the 580th and final board - which featured nine words - at exactly 8:53 am on Saturday, Sept. 26th, 2015! And I still have a screenshot of that final board to prove my conquest!!! 🏆
