L. I like Ruzzle very much, The only thing that I don’t care for and it’s just one thing, it almost seems as if you don’t buy coins constantly you don’t get very good puzzles. Because I see some scores that are outrageously high, and I just don’t see how they get that high unless they’re constantly buying coins and using the extra seconds and getting double and triple word scores, And I do see a lot of puzzles that seem like ones I’ve done recently. Other than that you guys are great. Also. If you would discontinue seeing all the words; it would be more interesting and more competitive; plus it shows how really good you are… make it fair; please. Buying all the words Seems like cheating, really..

A True (If Flawed) iPad Classic. Many word games have come and gone in the App Store, but Ruzzle has stayed with us. For good reason, too; it's a very good game. The tournaments and team play really are fun, but my favorite will always be the classic three-rounder. Though…the rarer letters (J, X and Z) really do not like showing up. Increasing the number of boards in which they appear just a little would make me glad. The letter Q I've seen, like, 10 times in total. I'm sure a Ruzzle veteran can go a while without seeing one! If you could, please turn the Q tile into a Qu tile. That way, it'll be much easier to use! I do love this game, and it's one of my favorites right now. I just feel that increasing the chances of rare letters would make it better (but please, don't overdo that).

Ruzzle. Newest update to free game after privacy agreement is awful and the game is no longer fun. My new phone freezes in the game repeatedly. Because the ads are too numerous and you are forced to hit them because they cover the play button, the game is no longer fun. There are double ads and for no reason you are taken to the web or to the App Store due to an ad or seemingly nothing. Have played a lot but will be stopping when my patience with all of this is done. I hope the developer will stop this because the only reason to play a game is for fun. The barrage of constant ads whenever you do anything is not fun. And I’m sure I am not the only one feeling this way. Your profits will ultimately suffer because people may not come back after they leave. Favorite game but what is with the long time with the logo that started tonight? Then the game is sped up and uncomfortable to play. What time was updated? It's not working. I can see the logo just fine on the Ruzzle screen. Also, I was knocked out of the game due to a call. It said to tap to return to the game. When I did, it said that the game was over due to cheating. What? So at 11 words the game ended. This has happened before after a call. I don't even know how to cheat with game, nor do I need or want to. This needs to be corrected.

Great game, god awful app. Ruzzle is a great game. The only way it could be better is if a better company took it from Mag. The app is absolutely terrible. The game freezes and the app force quits; when swiping up it, it causes the phone to freeze for as long as 20 seconds (even after all other apps closed, clearing RAM and a hard phone reset); if you exit the app mid-game, the app resets when you go back, and all game progress is lost (this is new with the past update). The app clogs the CPUs performance so bad that even other apps run slow after swiping up from the bottom and switching (new bug as of the most recent update). Team play is absolutely terrible. If you bet max coins (100) and win, you get your original coins back but only 5 or 10 extra. If you lose, you lose 100 coins. Every opponents' accuracy and creativity is 95%; only the speed varies, and that is inaccurate. Total coins per opponent is out of whac too; I've lost to opponents with total coin payout of <200, but have handily won against opponents with a payout of 225, and all other stars were similar. If the app wants you to lose, you will lose regardless of how well you play. It seems as though the adds take a higher priority than actually fixing these bugs. It's been like this for years. Shame on you, Mag!

Hate the latest update. Loyal Ruzzle fan and daily player for a few years now. I purchased the ad free version a while back. The latest update is a huge bummer. You have to use chips to play all aspects of the game except regular challenges. This wouldn't be the worst problem, except that you're often waiting hours, if not days to play the next round in a challenge. So in between challenges I like to play the tournaments or team play. But you're dropping 10 chips for every game you play. And even if you win, you're not really even breaking even, forcing you to purchase more chips. Because I've already paid for the full version, this makes me feel like I got duped. I understand the developers need to make money (how else would we even have this app?), but the whole thing seems really unbalanced now. I'm disappointed and I hope the folks at Ruzzle will make some adjustments in the near future or I won't be able to continue to play.

Still very good, but used to be perfect. The new tournament system is a bummer. It used to be something you could play without worrying about chips or rewards. If you wanted extra time or an additional bonus tile, you could watch videos to acquire them, but to play the basic tournament version, you simply pushed start and played away. Now, there are three tournaments being played at all times and you have to earn coins to play them. I’m sure it’s just a gambit to make players watch more advertisements - at least that’s how it seems initially - but I miss the simplicity of the original tournament system. Fortunately, the head-to-head play does not appear to be affected, so the general game is still excellent.

Lots of Fun. I've been playing Ruzzle just about every day for about 6 years now... I have the paid version which gets rid of those pesky ads...Well worth the couple of bucks... I've never had any issues with the app nor have I had any negative experiences with my opponents... I would recommend Ruzzle to anyone who enjoys word games while playing with an opponent or playing solo. A suggestion for those who have experienced hesitation with Ruzzle (or any game): Reset your phone, tablet or whatever you play on to factory settings -- of course make sure everything is backed up. This cleans out all of the miscellaneous junk that gets stored on your device from the internet. I reset all my gadgets to factory settings once every 6 months. Doing this maintenance keeps everything running smoothly.

Not as enjoyable as before. I came to Ruzzle on the recommendation of a reviewer for Word Crack (Mix 2) after that game drastically changed (for the worse). Once I got used to the differences, I found it to be a good substitute and a satisfactory way to scratch my word puzzle itch. But after the recent change, I find it just isn’t quite as good anymore. Previously, when you challenged a random opponent, you were able to play first and then wait for someone to join the game; now you have to wait for them to play first. And when you are playing a round, there is no longer a pause button, which is extremely inconvenient. Sometimes you need to step away for a moment—go to the bathroom, answer the phone, etc.—and being able to suspend the gameplay until you could return was nice. And somehow, I just don’t seem to do as well in terms of both the number of words I find and the total score I achieve as I used to, and I’m not sure why that is. I have severely curtailed my playing of this game, and I may end up nixing it right alongside Word Crack. (Why can’t anyone stick with a nice, simple, straight-forward word puzzle game?)

It was ... Addictive and Fun. Started playing on a vacation with family and has turned into my favorite time waster :-) The above was my review YEARS ago. I’ve been a daily player for years. Single player still is good but Mag you destroyed team play. So disappointed ... in team play I was a consistent leader on my team. We’re a high Silver, low Gold group. For the last three weeks The only games offered to me in team play are way beyond my level, even when we drop back to Silver. For the last 3 to 4 weeks I’ve been beat down and watched my chips fall by the way side. My skill hasn’t diminished ... and the level we’re in hasn’t changed ... but it sure seems like the ranking system has. The single player matches seemed unfettered, but team play now just seems to be a money grab ... it’s no longer “fun” .. which is why I played it. Now the only way for me to win is to use power ups (which I never use to need) which is just a constant drain on my chips and gold. I’m not the only one here, my other team members have noticed and commented on it. I understand the need for a company to make money ... but such an obvious “change” in the game is disheartening, and frustrating. I get it, everything changes, including the apps I’ve got installed and the ones that I use.

Fraud - don’t buy or download. Response to Developer: If my opponent uses a 20 second bonus, or solicits help from a teammate in order to beat me, then that is cheating, pure and simple. You say you are playing recorded games, so that means you have full knowledge that the recorded game has one or more 20 second bonuses, and/or help from a teammate. Therefore, you know that you are cheating. And the reason you are cheating is to get players like me to watch your videos or spend real money if we want any chance to win a league. If you can’t admit what you’re doing then either you’re in complete denial, or just flat out lying. Team play is a scam. The game leads you to believe you are playing against real opponents in real time, but you are not. The game then decides it will cheat against you, crediting your opponents with words that there is no way they could have come up with on their own. By doing this, the game makers force you to purchase more coins, or make you watch videos - if you want any chance of winning a match. Team play is a fraud, and not worth wasting time or money to play it.

New week, same old problem - still unresolved issues after multiple attempts at customer support. *Edit: I actually came back to give this game even fewer stars. While playing the team tournament the game continues to crash on the third round. It has happened enough times that I stopped counting. I continue to email customer support, but they have yet to figure out the problem and I'm tired of the same back-and-forth with them, especially the last time when the said they needed screen shots, so I sent one and got back a snarky response. This used to be my go-to, every evening game. Now I'm just too irritated by it to play. This was one of my all-time favorite games, but since the update it crashes, freezes, won't open, and/or shows that I scored zero points in a round. It is seriously annoying. Please fix and I promise to come back and update to more stars.

Watch a Video- DON'T GET A POWER UP!. I love Ruzzle and played the ad free version for years. I buy power ups (bonus time or points) but sometimes I watch a video to get the power up for free. Lately there have been videos that do not allow one to close the video without installing the game that was advertised. It happened today with Cube Cube-Mobile. My only options were to replay the video ad or install the app. I didn't want to do either and when I returned to the game, of course I didn't get the promised free bonus. I tried again and got the same result. It wasn't that there was a hidden X somewhere. I reported this to the support team last week. While the response was pretty quick and they did give me coins to use for the one of the bonuses I didn't get by watching the ad, I'm extremely mad that this has happened twice since then. They need to vet these advertisers. Love the game, hate the bait and switch. Update: Also I'm now seeing ads after almost every game. This should NEVER happen when you buy a game.

Madelyn. This is the best game ever!!! I bake cakes and I have a lot to do on a daily basis and it is overwhelming. This is the best game to put all of your stress away and just play your phone. Let me also add I own the bakery and it is stressful because I am the only one working in there except for my cashier... so when I go home I am so worried about tomorrow’s order and I just have anxiety really bad and it helps!! I also have a new born and a 3 year old that I have to take care of!!! My newborn is always breastfeeding so it is painful and when I am in pain I usually get on the game and just relax. My husband is a lawyer and we have a 3 story house that is always spotless so I am always on my feet before I lay my head on my pillow and try to go to sleep... I have the house all cleaned but sometimes that gets stressful and you have to take a break!!! So I play this game for a lot of reasons and let’s just say I have been playing this game for 5 years and it is amazing!!!!! I would never stop playing this game!!!! Thanks you to the developers!!!🙂🙂🙂

Please stop score manipulation. I love ruzzle and have been playing for years. Lately, however, I've been frustrated with Ruzzle for a quite obvious score rigging. Team play is really great and I have a lot of fun, but can't help but feel "played". You play 3 rounds against another player. Results are immediate, clearly pitting you against someone who already played but still used to the same boards. When Ruzzle thinks you shouldn't be quite so comfortable if your winning you find yourself losing that game majorly. I always watch the replay so I can see how others find words. Soooo many times when watching the replay I can see the other person finding words and then suddenly the whole board will light up (like they suddenly found a huge word) and your opponent's score will double. This happens waaay too often to be true. Losing doesn't bother me at all, in fact I enjoy learning from other players. But it's hard to enjoy the game when you feel like your (more appropriately you OPPONENT'S) score is rigged. I'll keep checking back to see if this gets fixed.

Go back to the old game. They changed the entire format of the game. I wouldn’t consider that an ‘update.’ I give it two stars because the original boggle-type play is still fun. But playing weekly tournaments were fun too, and now you can’t play without paying a lot of real cash or watching many, many (many!) full 30 SECOND ads. Their repetitive ads often stop animation at the 20 second mark, but you still have to stare at the screen for the full 30 seconds in order to earn the coins you need. (Yes, I did watch A LOT of ads before to earn boosters, but originally it was 1 ad = 1 booster. Now it’s about 4 ads = 1 booster. Ridiculous!) Personally, I don’t want to waste my life watching that many of the same ads or pay cash, but if I don’t, I can’t play at an equal level as my competitors... I’m very disappointed.

Grampy007:. Several things. You took over 5000 coins out of my account and you need to put them back in. Second, your system of calculating average score makes no sense. If I lose a game, you reduce my average by 30 points. If I win a game you increase my average 4 points. That means I have to win 8 games in a row to make up for one loss. This is a terrible system. Why would you do this? Third, i have been ranked a Master for years and you have now demoted me to beginner status. The title doesn’t really concern me but when I play others who are ranked beginners, they really don’t have a chance to win, and it could discourage them from playing. Fourth, it appears you still haven’t done anything about changing the algorithm for European vs. English speaking countries, especially Italian and French. Because they have so many letters in their words, including more vowels, they have the great advantage. Thank you for reading and responding.

Not a quality or fun game anymore...... This is my second review. First one is listed last. I enjoyed playing this game but the crap you have to put up with is NOT WORTH IT. While playing, the letters hesitate as you play so your score suffers, plus...I've been playing a long time and I have stats built up in the game and in the tournament. Then suddenly I was locked out of the tournament..could not play it anymore. Then I sent two messages to Ruzzel for help and no help. So For some reason I had to re-enter my email to sign in and the response was INVALID EMAIL. NO record of my email either that I've used for all of my games. Then said I had to establish new account ..so I tried but they changed my user name and password to one I didn't create. When I finally logged into this new account there was no evidence of me, or any past record of my longggg time playing stats. No decent customer service...if they had a good customer service to fix the first problem I would have given 5 stars. Obviously customers are NOT important to the, they have my money so to hell with me. .... This is my First Review. The new version is slow..touch is delayed...you touch a letter and in a second or so it registers. You can get any speed or accuracy with this fault. No fun anymore !! I have deleted it. Let us ALL know on FB when you have fixed the problems and it works and is fun to play again.

Too Many Bugs & Glitches & Ways to get Ripped Off. The more recent updates to this game have ruined it. There are bugs and glitches constantly that make the user lose coins, coins that you must watch ads to earn and sometimes can earn a few by winning events/tournaments. Sometimes you watch the ads and you never get the coins. Sometimes you play Solo Events and are unable to claim your avatar at the end, and sometimes the game says the event ended (when it just started) and clears your progress so those coins you used to play each round were wasted. They make it difficult to earn coins, so when you spend them on games and/or boosters and your progresses is cleared because of a glitch/bug, it’s like you paid for something you never got. How fair is that? Imagine going to a store, giving them your money, and walking out empty handed. That’s what’s happening way too often to this once enjoyable game. And support seems to only acknowledge that you made a complaint and they ask for a screen shot. How a screen shot tells them that my progress was cleared is beyond me. They would need a screen shot of where I was at before it was cleared as well, and how would I have that?? They don’t reimburse lost coins and it takes an excessively long time until glitches/bugs are fixed. Used to be my favorite game. Hoping they change things so it can be my favorite again.

Great stress reliever 💃🏾😂. I’ve been playing this game for yeeeeaaars! I ❤️ this game! I read some of the negative posts & even I’m sorry that some are unhappy with Ruzzle especially thinking the app is designed in a way to cheat... I’ve made a few genuine Ruzzle friends, some were even relatives of each other! I have learned over the years how to earn the ink, so I haven’t spent money since I paid years ago to get rid of the ads & my first purchase of ink & I don’t even remember how much that was 🤷🏾‍♀️ the only thing I need help with just started recently: the free help I earn daily that I save to use during my team play, the videos are taking much longer to play. At first I thought it was my phone, but after I hit one of them 4 times in a row for the first time & realized it used up all my free ones & still had to use my ink for 100 & this has happened several times within the past 2 weeks. And a few times it’s happened with my ink too... 😕 So I’m like ok, time to notify my Ruzzle fam 😂😂 because I’ve never had a customer service issue with you guys, nor have my Ruzzle friends that I’ve referred to y’all when they’ve had questions or issues! Let me know if I need to email 📧 ☺️

Good game, but ads are way too long. The game is pretty good and the random matchup system works well to find similarly skilled players. But the ads after every single game are too much, and take too long. It takes less time to close and reopen the app than it does to get through an ad. Crazy. Team play is underwhelming, and both team games and events are designed to make you use coins for power ups. I don’t think a puzzle game like this should have power ups, but it’s a minor issue and not available in the regular matches, thankfully. Overall, solid game, best of the boggle-like games I’ve played, but the ads are the biggest problem. I know the devs need to make some money, but these ads just take way too long, some require multiple clicks, each with their own timers, to get past them. ADDED NOTE: Dev’s response to this review says that ads can be passed after 6 seconds, which would be reasonable, but is unfortunately not the truth. Most ads require you to wait roughly six seconds before the double arrows come up to pass it, but then an App Store page for the app being advertised comes up (which you must click “done” on), and then ANOTHER 6 second timer comes up to pass a third page, all for the same ad. Three separate clicks with their own timers for one ad is just ridiculous. Alternatively, I’ve been getting ads where there is a ten-second timer, which doesn’t start right away. I would be thrilled to have ads with a 6 second timer, and would not have complained.

New Tournament Structure Unbalanced. Paid for the app years ago... Great game. I typically have played several times a day. The new tournament structure is simply unbalanced. It needs to be less chips to play a round and give out less at the top (I am sure other tweaks would work as well). The game has effectively been made to where the folks spending money will always have a tremendous advantage over ones unwilling to take part in micro transactions. While this is standard nowadays, this is just a little too greedy in this instance. The game is in a spot where it is not enticing enough to spend money and the reward is too low to warrant watching Ads. I know that game developers need revenue, but you have to offer better value to the customer in this instance. And giving the folks forking out cash this heavy of an advantage just kind of ruins the previous skill or time needed to get the high scores in the previous version of the tournaments. I have tried to embrace the new structure, but after two tournaments, it just isn’t fun any longer (Tournament-wise). One-on-one matches are still great though!

Fun But Occasionally Aggravating. Ruzzle is the most fun word game around. However, it is aggravating at times. Sometimes, when you’re given a random opponent, or a choice of three, either they all three have much higher levels and skill than you, or they somehow keep beating you no matter how good you are and how low their level. This tends to happen after I either have a ton of coins or am on a long winning streak, leading me to believe the game is rigged. The other thing is that oftentimes, during team play, there will be one or two teams at #1 and #2 spots with high four-digit or even five-digit scores, while all other teams have scored so low that it’s practically impossible to catch up. And this happens on the first day or two of the tournament. It doesn’t seem possible anyone can get that great of a lead, especially when everyone on your team is playing, you have a full team, and everyone on your team is playing every day.

What’s going on!!!!. I’ve been playing for 6-7 years (perhaps longer) and It’s seems that you have changed the app to ensure that those that are slower are crucified to the point where it is no longer fun to play. Your algorithms don’t seem to “Match” players strengths and weaknesses. Those with slower speeds (like myself) cannot even come close to winning a game. 1 out of 20 games is not what you call fun. I used to be matched with those who have the same abilities and made it much more fun. You need to match speed with speed. Then again, I would even question that. I’ve played those that apparently have very slow speed and still get 70 words to my 20-25. How do they have a slower skill than I but get 3 times the words. That’s not slow to me. Look at your algorithms!!! Disappointing. Also - please please please get rid of the “Add extra time” pop up box that appears every single time a game ends in tournament play. So annoying and frustrating. If you can’t win during regular play, then don’t play.

What happened to landscape orientation?. I play Ruzzle on an I-pad. The game can no longer be played in landscape mode. It is very awkward playing in portrait mode. Especially since I use it mounted on a keyboard. PLEASE change this back to the way it was. ( I do not have the rotation lock on) Team play has changed, not sure what update, but rather recently. Our team is so sick of losing. We did not get worse at Ruzzle but the way the Game is now set up we lose so much. It used to be that Gold League would be difficult to come in the top three. However the Silver League was doable. Not any more. We lose more than we win. For example: at the moment our team has 15 loses and 11 wins. Our team score is 968. We are all so frustrated. It is obvious that the new focus is not entertainment but to force players to use currency to continue to play. None of my team will use our hard earned money to buy coins for more time or team help. In other words to win. What used to be a super enjoyable, stress-reliever is now a stress inducers. One additional note. If you could sort reviews by date, you would see in the last 9 months there are more one star reviews than at any other time period. I don’t understand why reviews can not be sorted by stars or by newest to oldest. That way it would be true transparency on how this once super fun game is now viewed.

Love it but.... I love this game, but I there are things that can make it really great. I think it would be fair to see if other players used boost in rounds during tournament play. for instance, along side the score for the round it could say, “Team play” and/or “20 seconds”, indicating it was used, perhaps with icons or something. This way it will be clear to players when they were used, or applied to determine scores (Not exactly sure how the tournament play works). It would help me size up my competition better! Additionally!!!... Do not let players pause and come back mid round, or at least pause, close the app and come back. I feel like too many people are using cheat apps. Addicting, yes, but Offensive too. I’ve managed to develop quite an addiction to Ruzzle over the last 6-7 years. A staple in my wind-down routine after work while I half-listen to the news or an episode of some show I don’t care much about, my family knows, unless it’s a true emergency, if they need something from me and I’m in the middle of a game, I will not respond until the game ends. Now to the offense and why I am writing this review. Ruzzle uses crass words that many may find offensive for a general audience. I have absolutely no problem with that. In fact, I find it amusing to see the occasional “C” word or “P” word or “D” word. However, use of the “N” word is beyond offensive. It is a racist slur that was used to refer to ALL people of African descent, as part of a widespread international system that justified dehumanizing, murdering and torturing people who were enslaved in the US. Of all the possible words available in the dictionary, to have this word as one of the acceptable words in one of the most popular word games of our time truly shows that there will always be some people who are incredibly accepting of devaluing human lives based on ignorant beliefs. At least now we know that the makers of Ruzzle and leadership at MAG are among them.

Great game. This is a game I’ve been playing for years. If I ever have an issue our contact support and they are very quick to reply. I have a lot of other games that come and go on my phone but this is one that I never quit playing. Play it every single day. Love it. My one complaint is that you win a lot of useless stuff but you never win coins. In order to play so many of the games they’re offering now you have to use coins. I am not going to spend my hard earned money to play a game that I purchased and I’ve been playing for years.I realize I need to make money but why not charge a yearly fee for the game and allow you to play rather than make you pay $9.99 every time you need to get a few coins.

AGAIN! The "Update" caused MORE issues!. I've been playing Ruzzle for over a decade. I don't usually have too many tech issues. The most recent update, however, has made the game nearly unplayable. Suddenly, the experience/level bar in the top-left corner now blinks & flashes up and down during every. single. round. When I try to concentrate on playing words, all I see is the flashing of the green level bar. It creates "stickiness" in word play, it slows me down, and it causes me to make more errors. Then at the end of each round, I receive a message that says "Congrats!". It tells me I went up a level to level 60 and I'll be getting 100 coins. Well, I've been on level 60 for several YEARS! (I don't ever get the 100 bonus coins, either). I didn't think there was a level higher than 60, because as I said, I've been at level 60 for years. Oddly, my experience/level bar now shows me being at level 61. Huh? That was never a thing. And yet, after every round, I get the congrats/level up message/promise of 100 coins for reaching level 60! I don't get coins, I don't level up, and the level bar blinking and shaking during games is making it all but impossible to play. It could even be downright dangerous for someone with a seizure disorder. I hope they fix this ASAP!

This is terrible and possibly criminal. I PAID for this app, so I would not see advertising, and with the expectation that people will not be able to use cheats. I am an above average player, but when there are people who are OBVIOUSLY cheating, you report them to the developers....who then do NOTHING. So in order to compete at some level, you would use boosters. You used to be able to just watch a video and you had about 7-8 free boosters; not anymore. You watch a video and you get about 30% of free boosters. Thus, the developer CHANGED the application requiring me to SPEND more money in order to be competitive. I am part of a team, and we are sick and tired of reporting abusers and seeing nothing happen. The developer has NO INCENTIVE to kick off cheaters as long as they make money. I say we abandon this game and find another AFTER we give the developer a chance to fix this debacle. We PAID for this... no more reduction in features or upwelling. Kick off the cheaters (you KNOW who they are).

Difficult to get ahead.. I have paid whatever the fee was to be able to skip the ads. However, I still end up having to watch ads because they give you so few coins when you actually play the game. You can earn extra cons in real play by watching ads. You only get 15 coins each time so you can spend a lot of time trying to earn pints. I have played this game for many years, about 8 years or so. I am starting to feel it’s useless to play on the Rama before they have an option where you can let the game play for you, so that’s cheating. I end up losing time after time because the opponent is letting the game play for them. Is early to spot because of you look their words when the game is over you will know that they didn’t find several 7 or 8 letter words that no one ever heard of. No use in trying to beat the AI.

Customer service needs to step up!!. Last update, photo of both Ipad app pic satisfied the developer that I had indeed paid. Thanks ruzzle...5 stars to 3. So you email them and absolutely NOTHING. Enjoy, but I can't use an app from a developer that feels just because they reply to a problem that somehow means they have given good customer service. Resolving an issue quickly is good customer service. Not just a polite email basically saying...you own the issue, prove it! Update to comments below... The developer is asking me to prove it with records from YEARS ago and take a snap shot to prove it...cause I must be a liar. I did one better...turned on the old pad and new one...showing both screens One with ad one without. Apparently the mentality of the developer and support is we are liars. Yep! Awe full. Shameful. They need to reevaluate how they handle such a small thing. I have been in touch with customer support. I recently got a new pad, replacing an identical pad and now I get pop up ads. I asked them to assist. I got double talk nonsense. My first review was 5 stars cause I love the game! I really do! I went to edit my old review with this ad issue. I edit. I exit. I went back to read it a few hours later...and my review slamming customer service was gone! POof! It is gone? Well I am thinking someone over their is holding back review complaints..just saying!! Great game unless you need assistance...then they want you to pay again too!

So many ads the game isn't fun. You have way to many ads. I understand you get paid for advertising but there are so many in comparison to actual play time . It comes across like you not only want advertiser's money but you want your players money also by having so many ads in which you also include your ad free version . Why don't you just cut to the chase and make this a paid app? At least then you would not be playing your players like fools. Also this is my 4th review and have not seen 1) any of said reviews posted, 2) any improvement in the game if anything there are now more and longer ads. Your explanation to other reviews is your standard go to " we need ads to pay for the app " is getting pretty redundant. Maybe take a good long look at what your players are saying or you may not have players or advertisers.

Fun. This game is just outright fun...having the best score out of three rounds with higher point levels each round always gives you that chance of winning......which is incredibly addicting....it also keeps players of high skill levels humble for even a very skilled player can occasionally have a lower scoring round. Its a very playable game with 0 errors or lag time given the gaming device that I use. It’s challenging enough to keep players coming back for more yet simple enough that all age groups can play. The controls are easy to learn. With the sound on the noises release joy(endorphins) every time a player scores high. You do not get punished for using 1 word more than once (being punished for that would probably make a lot of users leave) but you do hear a short off-key sound that alerts you of the repeated word. Colors are great and vibrant so is the app picture. It’s an exciting enough game to put up with ads.

Mag reputation ruined. I have been playing ruzzle for years and always rated it 5 stars. Mag has completely ruined a great game with the most recent upgrade. It’s obviously a move to generate more revenue by having players pay with coins for upgrades, or chips just to play! (Which of course you need to buy with real money). Even if this change had been planned for a long time, Mag released the upgrade at absolutely the WORST time possible. Millions of people have lost their jobs, and this company now wants loyal players to pay to play. The message they sent to the world is “ we don’t give a rip about what you are dealing with, we want to make more $$$”. The reputation of this company just got flushed down the toilet. What a STUPID move! What are the leaders of this company thinking??? Bring back the old Ruzzle! Listen to the voices of your customers ( every recent review trashes the upgrade). Admit you made a mistake before you lose ALL your customers!

Addicting. I’m old school. I started playing Boggle against my mom in late 80’s so if you remember that game (trying to find words by the cubes that were touching in any direction) then this game is for you! Now you don’t need a pen and paper to write them down. Just swipe and you’re on your way. I’ve been playing this game now for almost ten years. Go at your own pace. Challenge random people. I quit playing tournaments a few years ago when they changed it, but when it was just you against 20 people, I won numerous times. One day I’ll try the team thing. Challenge random people because they give you people within your score range. Before you know it, you’ll be one of the best. Happy Gaming!

Profanity issues not resolved. I really enjoy this game and have been playing it for quite a few years. My only complaint is the profanity in the puzzles, mostly nasty words about women’s private body parts. I have complained to support at least twice. They did respond promptly but seemed unconcerned, and the only solution offered was to update to the latest version. I did; no improvement. Other objectionable words, such as racial slurs, NEVER appear, as they would occasionally if the puzzles were random. Once an iffy word came up, but the game would not accept it. Why then, can’t it be programmed to not accept “tw*t”, “c*nt”, and other offensive words? If they would fix this very annoying issue, I would rate them five stars.

Advertisement incentive based game. Been playing for a long time. It’s a nice interface with a few bugs they seem to sort out. Most bugs seem to revolve around advertisements that freeze the game. My big complaint as of late (and the reason for the low rating) is regarding tournament play. You are given random boards that vary quite a bit. If you choose to watch a couple adverts you can add 30 seconds and an extra triple word. This is important if you want to compete in the tournament. Here’s the rub - Recently they reduced the tournament boards to accept boards that contain extremely low word counts. Meaning that on one board I played had a total possible 16 words. In tournament play this board is useless. If you want to compete you need higher scoring boards. I’m assuming that marketing decided that if they expand this range you will be forced to play more games and watch more advertisements. I was willing to give up this time with a higher minimum, but if they want my eyes on their advertisers that badly they’ll need to compensate the viewer IMO. Thanks for the decade of word fun! Hopefully they can find a better formula.

Phenomenal for Word Lovers & Competitors. The head-to-head word-finding competition of Ruzzle is the best app I’ve found of its kind, and I’ve played a lot of them! I played Boggle and the Boggle app for years and this takes that idea and perfects it. With individual, tournament and team play, it gives you a slight variety of ways to play and with slightly different formats that keep it interesting. The only things I would suggest to the developers are that they show users how many possible words were available in each game/board, that they track the lifetime average number of words found per game per user (to track your upward progress), and that they allow users to click on an unknown word and look it up in the dictionary (all features that Boggle does). Other than that, Bravo Ruzzle! Awesome game!

Fun to play with family of all ages!. My mother, brother, son, and I all play Ruzzle together and have for several years. It has been great for interacting in a fun way. I enjoy being on a team with my family (although we have not been able to include my son on the Kindle yet). One thing that would truly make Ruzzle great is to have a built in dictionary. I would love it if we could select any of the words at the end of a round and see a simple definition/ possibly origin/ pronunciation. (Even to be able to save a word somewhere like in the app itself or Notes). This would take it from a quick way to pass some time to something educational and even useful. (We learn well when it is fun!)

Great Game!. Ruzzle is a fun, addictive and educational word game. You make words by connecting adjacent letters on a grid. It helps you learn new words (if you want to) by listing all the words you didn't catch during the game. Ruzzle is challenging on many levels. The game is timed and you choose to play another player or a robot; there's a weekly contest for high scorers who win coins to be used in the Ruzzle Store; and there are many game upgrades, holiday avatars, etc that are available and keep things interesting. I've played Ruzzle for at least 10 years and have, on a few occasions, contacted Customer Service. My experiences were all positive. The crew worked very hard to solve/explain each concern or problem I had, then offered ways to resolve/fix them. ⭐️Definitely a 5-Star Word Game ⭐️

Abusive players. I have played the free version of this game for several years now. I play for fun and to get better and faster, however in the last couple of weeks I have been accused of cheating by 2 different players one of which was JNET2014 who was very rude and abusive. After playing only 1 round of one game she quit and sent me an abusive message. First of all I lose more games than I win so that cheating app I've been accused of using must not be very good 😜. What's the point in cheating? I don't understand. Anyway, it used to be fun but apparently a crop of paranoid poor losers is taking over this app. I think I'll delete it and go back to Pogo where I can just play games against the computer. Computers aren't abusive and paranoid they just play and keep their mouths shut 😝 What's up with this site? Just read my review and that is totally not my screen name!

Great game..But!. About 3 Stars..Game is 5 Stars..the Ads are 0 Stars..the "Ads" are HORRIBLE! I understand ads mean money, but, use ads that aren’t pushing your agenda…the content of these ads are absolutely trash. 9 out of 10 ads are garbage. They claim it’s MY algorithm “likes”. B.S.! It’s all the garbage they are pushing. Some “influencers” makeup routine? Rappers talking in a round table about Rap? A celeb losing weight? “Revolt” network? Not interested. Some rapper figuring out his sexuality. Don’t care. Soccer..not a fan. Disney..no thanks. Not one ad is of anything I’m even slightly interested in. They are so annoying. Please, less crappy ads! Or at least something relevant. Absolutely no interest in Revolt, Vogue, Soccer, Rap…but, guess what crappy ads they constantly use…all of the above. Good game..annoying ads.

I hate the new tournament upgrade. There’s a few issues that bug me about this game… but I still play daily. I submitted a complaint a few weeks back and I never heard back. This new tournament feature that allows you to add 30 seconds for 100 Ruzzle gold is really dumb. Once time runs out the pop up immediately asks you if you want to add second or decline it is terrible! I’ve already wasted 300 coins because I’m in the middle of swiping a word and I accidentally swipe over the pop up and it takes my coins to add seconds even though I have a terrible score… I would have never paid coins to continue playing that round! Then another time I had a great score and I clicked to pay 100 gold… I would’ve won the weekly tournament but if froze once the time ran down to 1 second so I lost out on the 150 coins I paid for the bonus’s and the 100 coins I paid to add 30 seconds. 250 gold coins wasted on 1 level that crashed and there’s no way to contact in game customer support to report it! I sent the screenshot to the contact us page and never heard back.

Ruzzle update on iPhone. Great great game that is addicting! Occasionally it gives the same game board for two games, n I wish I knew whether its better to play double word or double length, but overall a great game! I LOVE this game, and have been playing it for years! HOWEVER.... a warning to anyone doing an update of the app.... .... I was playing an old version of the app, which allowed me to play in a weekly tournament for free, and watch a couple videos to get free boosters for the weekly tournament. After updating the app (August 2020) I can no longer play in the weekly tournament for free, or get the boosters for free... I now have to use the black “R” coins EACH TIME I PLAY A GAME AND USE ANY BOOSTERS IN THE TOURNAMENT! I played the weekly tournament about 30-50 times a day.... obviously I can no longer do that now that I have to pay for each game and each booster. the update is a huge disappointment!

Many words are made up. Too many words are completely made up and not found in any real dictionary. This gives players who have memorized the game an unfair advantage. To the point where real players will almost never win. Examples: AA, EA, ER, HA, AH, YA, EE, IO, HAA, YAH, ES, etc. I get that a lot of these are (wrongly) in the official Scrabble dictionary, but acronyms, Spanish words, some names (but not most, so it's impossible to guess) should not be allowed. Exclamations aren't super awful, but they add to the overall problem; you can win over and over again without finding or spelling a single real word. It's silly. Especially when 40+ 2- and 3- letter acronyms result in one player beating another who spent all her time spelling out 30+ real 5- and 6-letter words. All because the vowels had Triple Word bonuses. Enjoy, if it's your type of game, but I found it to be a waste of time. Once I learned the tricks and started to win more than half the time, it was boring.

MAD. Ever since the new pop-up was added asking if we wanted to purchase additional time using 100 coins, I have gotten that extra time by “accident” four times. I say by “accident” because I ALWAYS hit the No Thanks button, and it is odd that somehow the four times I had enough coins to pay for extra time, my finger suddenly manages to choose that option instead of the No Thanks button. When I don’t have enough (which is the vast majority of the time), my finger always hits the No Thanks button as I intended. Hmmmm. Kinda curious. This is the first online review I have ever made. That’s how aggravated I am. This problem, along with the general degradation of the game due to it being harder to win (without using boosters) and having to watch 45 second ads in order to get enough coins to convert to chips just to be able to play, every day I think about stopping playing it altogether. It’s not worth the hassle. Speaking of ads, you would have to pay me a very generous amount of money to ever play Royal Match. In fact, I make it a point to never use/buy anything I have been compelled to watch an ad for, but the Royal Match ads are especially annoying and frequent. BTW, what happened to the five second ads you used to have? Now they all seem to be the 45 second variety.

Glitch/bug. Every time I play a round, I have to play it again because it doesn’t “stick”. I end up getting about 10-50 points more because I remember where the longer words were, but it takes all the fun out of the game. It was happening occasionally before the last update but ever since I updated the app I have to do every single round twice. No fun. Too bad, it’s the only app I ever enjoyed playing ***Update*** Received an almost immediate reply suggesting I log out and log back into my account (as well as a kind reminder to make sure I had my account info handy before doing so). The solution worked! Back to happy word hunting!

Team play frustrations. I enjoy the collaboration of a team working together and competing against other teams and I enjoy the fast pace, completing all three rounds and getting immediate win or loss. The quick pace of team play has improved my skills for the standard ruzzle that I've enjoyed for years. BUT the team ruzzle has little to do with skill. The winner often has paid for their victory. I know this because I frequently view the replay and low and behold I was keeping pace, a little ahead, or I was clearly winning, then BAM! The opponent has decided that this will be their win so they use their cheat. It's like a football team that is unsuccessful in getting down field so they hire a pickup truck and machine guns! It has nothing to do with competition, skill, ability, speed. It's just a card up their sleeve. When I play I choose to use my unaided ability so I loose all the time. MADDENING!!!

Ads galore. I have loved this game for a long time. But I’m frustrated that there are SO MANY ads in the game now, they are now inserted constantly while playing. It is testing the patience of people like me who enjoy this game! It used to be but they would just be in between games. Now they are in between every round of the game, they pop up every time you go to the next thing. Perhaps just a way to get people to spend the money to go ad-free. Hard to come to any other conclusion..... I just read a bunch of other reviews. There has been similar feedback. If anything, the ad issue has become worse! They are not only inserted in more places while playing the game, but they’re also harder to get out of, and often times you have to wait through two different timers to get out of the ad….. the main body of the ad, and then, when you exit out of that, there’s another timer that counts down another 10 seconds or more. I play a lot of games, and I’ve never come across a game that has so many ads. It takes all the fun out of playing a game, and I suppose that is the point… So that we will buy the ad free version. I suppose unless enough people complain, nothing will be done about it. It’s frustrating to read the developers response to peoples complaints they offer no solution, because they don’t want a solution or have a solution for you. Other than to buy the ad free version!

TOO MANY CHEATERS!!. When this app first came out years ago, it was FANTASTIC. Now, however, it’s not good at all and there’s no real challenge. 98% of the people that I’ve run into are using the cheat app. It makes no sense to me. Why even play a skilled word game if you’re going to use a cheat bot? These games are meant to exercise the brain. I’m upset that the developers of this game can’t find a way to stop these people from cheating. I have some real life friends that I’ve played the board game Scrabble with. These friends are not necessarily good spellers. However, I recently invited a couple of them to this game to get some exercise on their ABC’s, and they had scores that were phenomenal. I asked them how they could get so many large words in such a short time, but can’t spell a 5 letter word in regular Scrabble. That was when I learned of the cheat apps. So for those of you looking for honest competition and good word fun, you might want to look elsewhere, because this game is not fun when everyone is cheating. PS: If you’re not good with words, maybe you should play the game the right way. You might learn something. And if you’re not interested in learning how to spell, there are plenty games available that require no brains at all. 🤯🤯🤯

Best word game on market.. Better than others I've tried. Reccomend buying though as the ads get annoying. Need more people to start playing as also can takes while to find random opponents.

A great game. Could be improved by the addition of a pause button for when you get unexpectedly disturbed. Also if you find a way of making the same word with a bigger score they don't let you have it. :( Also it is extremely cumbersome rematching anyone cos you always have to invite or be invited and wait for the other person to accept your invitation. Very tiresome when you are playing a friend. Polite but tiresome! Apart from these annoying features it is a GREAT game and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

Very Addictive & Enjoyable Game. This game can become quite addictive. Enjoying playing with friends and others from around the world. Noting that there are a lot of obscure words and not being a wordsmith it can be frustrating and fun.

Really fun, but.... I actually love this game. It's definitely a great way to kill time. The only problem is, there are too many ads. I would pay to have them removed but it's $5. That is FAR to much for something like that, I wouldn't even pay that much to buy the whole game... Maybe lower the price of ad removal and you'd have more people buying it. Just sayin'.

Review. I had to reload the game after playing for a couple of weeks because it kept getting stuck. Now it is fabulous!

Addictive. I can't stop playing this game, though I only do the practice runs. It has frozen on me once and I am reloading it in the hope that it will work again. My only complaint is that it sometimes fails to recognise correctly spelled real words that may not be used very often. One day it even failed to accept "of"! I have also played in French which gets my mind going, but I have a lot of inaccuracies due to spelling.

A great game but..... I love this game and have played it for years, but the latest update takes forever to load the game and then load the results at the end of a game. People I play with from around the world agree! Can you fix this? For a game that used to be quick in these it's now very slow and annoying!

Awesome Game. Love this app. Also enjoy the team play and weekly tournaments. Love the word games as I grew up on scrabble n boggle. Also the app support team are pretty awesome too, so quick to respond and resolve minor issues experienced.

Nice!. Very nice concept, well executed. The only problem is the poor help. It took me 4 days to figure out how to change the default language to Dutch (top right hand corner when inviting someone). No info on the website about this either. A little more effort in the help section might be needed. Otherwise, pretty good game.

Don’t update your game!. If you haven’t updated in a while, don’t do it now. I’m very sorry I updated recently. It’s not fun anymore because you have to use tokens to play games where before you could just play endlessly for nothing. I assume once you run out of tokens you have to pay real money to get more. I really dislike the new format and am considering uninstalling.

Pick up your game Ruzzle..!. We are now forced to watch 30secs of ads between rounds, like it or lump it.. If we use the choice to receive Team Help, 20+secs extra or a triple word tile we are forced to watch a 30sec ad.. Took me 5 & 1/2 mind to play 1 round.. So which is it Ruzzle, 30sec ads for freebies or 30sec ads just because..? You can't have it both ways, if you're going to force us to watch full 30secs anyway then make ALL of the freebies FREE..! Losing interest & all my team players are sick of all the waiting to play while you bombard us with ads..!

Great for the mind!!. Love playing, although since I have started using my coins to play team games I have noticed I am on an incredible losing streak causing me to use more coins, what a coincidence!! 😜😂 will continue to play but not use coins to bet!! Other than that I really enjoy it, keeps my mind active!!

Great game. I love this game, just a little glitch with the adverts.. After an advert comes up on the iPad, if the advert faces another direction, after you come back to the game, the game doesn't view properly and you have to move the iPad around to get the game viewing properly again. Not a huge deal, but it's a little annoying. I also didn't understand when the game told me that I had the maximum number of games when I had 9 games and I've had more than that going before.

Crashes. It's fun to play, but crashes A LOT each time you first open the app. It's getting annoying enough that this feedback needs to be given. Please fix it.

Addictive game. Love this game. Would be 5stars if there were just a few things fixed like Facebook link doesn't work for me for some reason so u have to have ur friends user name, theres no list of past players uv played u can invite again so once the games dropped off the old games u lost them. And invites when sent just sit there and u can't sent reminder or anything. Otherwise it's great.

So annoying!. You can’t complete a game without interruption! I can understand after a game is finished you force me to watch advertisements but not like that! I removed the application which I loved at the beginning Such a shame!

Shop purchases not working. The shop purchases don’t seam to work.. I have peeping tom and the speedo meter neither seam to work..? I have updated the game to the most recent build snd they still aren’t working.

Good game.. The game is good. Addictive to play. Need to be able to play music while playing the game. Had some issues with it freezing after a level The practice levels are easier/more options than the Vs levels which is another downfall.

Easily 5 Stars. Exceptional game. Not sure about the new sounds in the latest update..... the volumes are messed up...... Seamless game play. No complaints about dictionary either... Only suggestions: more options in weekly tournament... Would like to see players daily best scores.... (click on a player and see how they have scored during the tournament.....)(ie: how they have accumulated the total tournament score) Would also like to see replays of these top scorers (with the replay feature).... Top, top, top game.

Highly addictive! Hate the cheaters!. As the title says... Live this game and its soooo addictive. But like most good games its been hacked and there are apps out there now that allows the not so smart to ruin this great game. Would of been good to see apple to disallow these apps or the makers find a way to stop it :( Would have given it an easy 5 stars if it weren't for the cheaters ruining my experience.

Terrible. I just want to play a game, why do I have to register. Maybe I wouldn’t be so bothered if it took more than ten minutes to register. I ended up just deleting the app as I couldn’t be bothered to wait around for the registration to go through. Useless. You might wanna work on that.

Nix latest update!. Before the latest update, there were different interfaces for iPhone and iPad. The iPad one made use of the larger screen area, and allowed the game to be played in landscape mode. I always found the iPhone version very confusing. I could never find some parts. The new version for iPad seems to be the iPhone version displayed on a bigger screen. It operates only in portrait mode, and is just as confusing as the iPhone version is. It is a waste of the big screen. Worse is that it is difficult to hold an iPad vertically if it has a cover on it. It is just too heavy. Even worse is that this major change was only described as "minor bug fixes". I can see myself playing a lot less than I used to. Later... A new update. At least the description says what has been changed this time. Operating in landscape mode on iPad is a definite improvement. However it is still the confusing iPhone layout, stretched far too wide for a large screen. You have a lot of space on an iPad - use it effectively; do not just mimic the iPhone layout. The letter grid is too small. Even at 2x it is significantly smaller than it used to be. There is no reason for this as there is plenty of unused space around it.

Enjoy game BUT. Just want to play on my own, so even tho' I enjoy this app will give it up. Not impressed I don't have choice of buying something - rather than get it after posting to FB, or waiting till I get to another level. Great app overall really. I got this because it was a app I needed for school, but it is quite fun. Only could you make it so people who are low leveled do not go with people in the 20s and 30s!! Also whenever I get coin rewards it never lets me actually get them :l

Hi.. I find it frustrating that I get some really good words and end up with such a low score. And other times average words and win the game. I think it needs more consistency. And you shouldn't be able to 'win' the game by buying a win of more time etc. That doesn't make it a game at all. It is just a money making scam. When most people just want to play a decent word game. Word length should give a much higher score than it does. .

Fun and quick game. It's fun and you can do it in short bursts of 2 mins which makes it entertaining. I'm hooked. Love the statistics and that I can play it in Dutch as well. I love the random opponent feature to challenge random people. Easy, fun, addictive!

Great game, but crashes!. I love the game, I play it with my overseas family, it is a lovely way to stay in contact without having to make the effort to talk every day. However, the game frequently crashes, such as right now, and I have to wait for it to reboot until I can finish my games.

Exercise brain cells. Great for old ladies like me.

Tournament Tricks. I feel that the game is geared when playing tournaments. It has over time become a lot harder to get a decent score, or be up there with the winners unless you buy in app purchases giving you more game time. I don't buy them, so have a very slim chance of being on the leader board now.

Good game but the ads detract. Is a fun way to while away the time but these 30 second obligatory ads are a disappointment. I don’t watch them and they achieve nothing but to make me terminate any play session earlier than I otherwise would.

This ad is about the game "21 Blitz" We see a man who holds a young child ... it's a solitary game where it is question of making money ... Unacceptable ... Ruzzle chooses your ads.

App crashes after latest update. Love Ruzzle, been playing for years, but after I completed the last update for my iPhone it will no longer open and crashes after the loading screen.

A little disappointed.. I love the game, and have been playing it since it started. About tw months ago it stop all me to play the game in the landscape mode on my iPad, which is very frustrating and inconvenient! I have reached out several times to the MAG developers, but all they have given me is a bunch of empty promises of fixing the problem. Till this day, no fixes have been made and I continue to play this game sideways, because my iPad is mounted on a stand, and I can’t just keep rotating it to play this game. What a huge disappointment!!! Hoping one day someone will actually listen to my complaint and fix this bug. Also, I would like to see different, and larger words to play. Thanks for nothing! : (

Lots of Ads & Problems!. ADS - There are too many ads & most of the time you get double ads! You have 1 ad & wait for the X to show up & when you tap the X you have a 2nd Ad for same app & have to wait again for the 2nd X to come up!!! THIS IS SO WRONG & NEEDS TO BE CHANGED ASAP!!!!!! - This game has the most ads I've ever seen in a game!! Easily 50% more then the 2nd worst game for ads!!! TEAM PLAY - Just let us have straight play without any boosters & let the best player win!!! - Team Help Booster (round 3): Too many times I lose my games because you give my opponent words scoring as much as 250 points!!! Very often the other player is getting up to 5 words given to them all over 100 points!! And vice versa, I'm given lots of words over 100 points!! This completely changes who the winner is!!! It's not the best player who wins, it's the player with the highest words given to them!!!! THIS IS WRONG & NEEDS TO CHANGE ASAP!!!! - They are less & less players in Team Play because of this!!!! RANKS FOR PLAYERS - It took Ruzzle almost 3 years to ad more more levels to rank players. Everyone was at Rank 40 & now Rank 60 is the highest you can get! WINNING ITEMS - Items I would win for getting a higher rank I never got!!!! I would take screenshots of the words with the score & wait 2 weeks to see if my Stat was updated & they NEVER were!! I would email proof to Ruzzle & nothing happened!! This has been going on for a year & nothing has changed!!! GOT A RESPONSE FROM DEVELOPER for my last review. They said to resend my emails showing the above (Items I won & proof of my high scores) & that they "probably never received them". They received every one!! CHAT - Ongoing problem for 3 years of your messages not being sent & messages not being received!! - Make the White Window we type in longer! If you make a mistake or need to add something to your message, the Black X is too close to what you have written & it deletes your message!!! - EMOJIS: Recently you changed the size of emojis by at least half the size!! Now NOBODY can read what they are!! Change them back ASAP!!! Just another example of how stupid Ruzzle is!!!! Pub durant le jeu!. Depuis quelques jours, la pub n’est plus juste entre les parties mais pendant les parties! Ça met un écran noir avec une petite pub et ça coupe le temps de jeu et ça, plusieurs fois durant la même partie! Si ça reste, j’enlève l’app, dommage mais trop c’est trop et là, ça touche carrément au temps de jeu. Très déçue.

Used to be my favourite game. I keep getting scammed out of chips this is so annoying. My team won the tournament last week and got nothing. And I am having chips taken away after I’ve won by a ridiculous number of points in the team play. This game went downhill after adding chips just to play in the tournament. Sad

Do you have any testers on your teams ?. Damn ! The first thing I tried just crashed ... and I lost 300 golds and 20 inks. And I’m supposed to be in top 5 with the score I had, two times ! It have taken years to have a stable version... Then, new features in three years and then, bugs are back!!!! Come on ! Be serious ! Test before releasing a new version !!! Edit: crashes are gone! Got it two time but since: none. So, not so bad finally. But all the Daily challenge are worthless !!! You can’t win more that you’ll spend ! So what’s the goal ? In the weekly tournament, we were able to get two free boosters when listening to two ads. Now ? It will take 7 Ads to get an equivalence (15 gold x 7 = 105, then you can buy the two boosters. Come on !!!

Love it, but…. With the latest iOS update my iPad only shows the large numbers which I really dislike. There used to be an option in the lower left corner for size. When I go onto the help button the game just disappears. When I go for support through the app I just get more information on games. A better link to support would be appreciated.

Game. The ads always crash the game or freeze it. The coin system is ridiculous. It costs 4$ to see the full word list for one single game, that’s 12$ for a single match of this game. And earning coins naturally takes forever so if you ever want to see your stats or words you have to take out a mortgage

Game is crashing. Game crashed literally directly after spending money on coins. (It was only a few dollars, but still annoying) now game crashes every time I open it. I can’t play at all. I tried restarting my phone, deleting the app then redownloading and even updating my phone. No matter what the game crashes as soon as I open it.

Never purchase coins. Team play is extremely buggy, as is using coins for anything, the final score doesn’t reflect the score you receive in game. You end up losing when you won. I contacted their support and that didn’t help, no credit of coins lost nothing. Fun to play if it worked and opposition in team and online play also has a lot of bots not real players.

Crashing. Game keeps crashing. After years, of playing, can no longervplay.

RUZZLE. I used to so enjoy playing weekly tournaments. Now, having to pay for every single try at it, it's taken the fun away and I will not play anymore. And this after paying to remove ads!!!

Update Landscape has disappeared. I received an answer from Ruzzle support about the app crashing... This was not the subject here. 🥴 My complaint was about the disappearance of the landscape mode on iPad as stated below. Support is a bit mixed up... Since the April 25 update, it is now impossible to play in landscape mode on iPad mini 4. When you have a case for the iPad in landscape, how can you play in portrait mode ? Impossible ! Please fix the problem and restore the landscape mode. Thanks.

Sound issues. I have tried everything - reinstalling, updating, writing to customer support, playing with settings - but the sound randomly shuts off repeatedly throughout a game which kills my flow. I’ve been playing this game for years and this problem only happens in this app. Please fix.

New update poorly executed. The old tournaments were free with the option to use currency to help with your score. Now the tournaments cost a currency to play. If you want to improve your score, pay again. I used to play multiple times per day in the weekly tournament to relax. I’ll look for a new word game that allows me to play multiple times freely (I do have the paid version) without having to wait for an opponent. Poorly done upgrade. Cannot recommend. Do not upgrade if you like the old tournaments.

Deb. I love this game. In fact I’m addicted! The only downside is the extensive amount of ad time when you load the rewards. Ten seconds maybe is acceptable but 20-30+ is far too much. I have paid for this app - the only one I’ve ever paid for, and I find this really annoying.

Glitches. Since around Christmas, the game will freeze while I'm playing. Often it will just shut down. For the last few weeks, the game will not open at all, or will shut down at various points in the opening process. If it does rarely open, it freezes and then shuts down. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Where is the free weekly tournament?. I can’t believe I am to pay for every trial in the tournament which used to be free. Now I have to delete this game too.

Same glitches for YEARS. When you’re playing a team game and your opponent has you trapped in a game because they aren’t finishing and so they leave you in limbo (which can be days!), unable to continue contributing to your team score, you should have the option of leaving the game without penalty. It’s really unfair that resigning from a game you’re trapped in results in you losing chips as though you’ve lost the game. At the very least there should be an option to nudge them. This has been as issue for years, I don’t understand why it hasn’t been dealt with.

More ads than game time. So many ads you spend more time watching them than playing. Even when you get through them, they pop-up in the middle of a game and you lose your round. They crash the app all together often. No fun at all.

Updates Ruined it!!. So-called bug fixes have completely destroyed this game. Now the same grid with the same player forces you into an eternal Groundhog Day of repeated, unresolved play. I’m done with it now. Update: got a “response” from the developer that led nowhere (ie nobody to actually write to or communicate with, although there seemed to be some kind of acknowledgement that I had made this negative review). Uploaded the game again just to find the same problem, completely unresolved. I’ve been playing this game for a couple of years with no problems whatsoever so it’s not like I’m unfamiliar with how it works. I hope I’m the only person this is happening to because it’s beyond frustrating. I’m not coming back just to get slapped in the face again.

Team Play Issues. There has been an issue with team play for a little while now. It happens when it’s about to switch over to the new week. You will be in the middle of a match and the 3rd round will end but it won’t count and it will essentially turn into a normal game, rather than team play. At the end of the round, it makes you replay it endlessly and you don’t get reimbursed for the coins that you used to use the power ups the first time around such as extra time or team help. Also, another glitch is that you will be in the top 3 of a league(Bronze or Silver) and it will tell you that you’re going back down to Bronze rather than moving you up like you should be. It does eventually correct itself after a bit.

Good points bad points. Head to head, the game is great. Both players play from the same board, so everything is even. Unfortunately, photos are no longer an option for your profile, just the generic emojis. Not sure why they stopped using the Facebook option but no explanation given. Tournament play is a different story. Boards are terrible round after round, even when using the power-ups. In fact, purchasing power-up’s often gets you an inferior board, with fewer potential words and points. Yet, players with low stats end up with extraordinary round totals I’ve never even been close to. Ever. Special event rounds seem completely arbitrary as to whether you win the round or not, and seem designed to keep you from reaching the last objective. I lost on the easiest round 4 times in a row while averaging over 60 words per round. Perplexing. Would like to see these issues fixed. I really enjoy the head to head competition.

Please fix team play!. This is one of my favorite word games to play, have enjoyed it for years. Love the new concept of the team play. However, the bonus features take out any chance of a fair game between you and your recorded opponent. Please just make this a straight up match and don’t allow the help from the team! So frustrating to spend 3 minutes in a tight game to find out you lose by 600 points in the final round for words your opponent absolutely didn’t come up with on their own and just pushed a button to win the last round! I would pay extra to do a fair team play rather than this junk!

App crashing - support not willing to fix. I’ve been dealing with the app crashing for over a month now. I’ve been in contact with support with zero care into trying to find a solution as to why the app won’t open anymore after I tried to make a purchase through the app. I’ve updated IOS, uninstalled and reinstalled, updated the app, turned my phone off and on again, cleared the cache and literally NOTHING has fixed the app. And after trying to once again, reach out about the issue, they closed my support ticket saying it has been “solved” when I still CANNOT OPEN THE APP. I’m so disappointed in the support team and feel like I’ve had to resort to writing a terrible review at this point to get someone’s attention because there has been such a lack of care on trying to fix this issue.

Love the game except.....,. When playing as a team and the other player doesn’t play there turn you have to resign and lose your points. You should have only a certain amount of time to play the round before the other player loses so you don’t have to lose your points. It also would be nice if You could have conversations with the player you’re playing. I paid for this game three years ago and it had a glitch so I had to erase the game and reinstall it, it did not recognize that I had purchased the game so no I have to watch all the ads between rounds.

New update 👎👎. I’ve been playing Ruzzle for about 10 years. I bought the game to avoid the ads in between games. That’s not the issue. The issue is that I had gained coins throughout my time and Now with this latest updates, I am half way done with spending them just to get boosters. There is no way to win meaningful chips unless you play team play in the Gold division and win! Otherwise you can spend a week playing the team play, spend a lot of coins then win only 160 coins back if you end up on 4th place. Maybe this is the way it has always been, but I never noticed until now because my coins are almost depleted. Not very happy with this update. It is hard to earn coins. Once I am out of coins and chips I suppose I will quit playing.

Forced password... can’t login!. I love this game and have been playing it for a long time now. It’s challenging, fun & such a great stress reliever for me. Recently, it’s as if the app reset it self as I was asked for the first time since signing up for the game/app (7 years ago) my login and password. I attempted nearly 20 different attempts to enter my login and password and when it was clear that I couldn’t remember my password I clicked “reset password “, typed my email and clicked the button provided and nothing has happened. When clicking the button it’s as if the button doesn’t truly work and it’s just there as a placeholder. Super frustrated and would appreciate any assistance otherwise I’ll be forced to create a new account and start all over again. Really hoping I can avoid that. Help!

Too many annoying ads!. I no longer enjoy this game. It’s actually been the ONLY game I’ve played on my phone for a few years—and I only play when I have a few minutes while waiting on something or to de-stress for a few minutes. For some reason, an earlier version stopped working, so I deleted it and reinstalled Ruzzle. This new version or update—whatever it is—is HORRIBLE! It sticks A LOT, and I’m constantly interrupted—even mid-game—by stupid ads. I MAYBE can play 1-2 rounds before an ad pops up! And, NO, I don’t want another game—and I definitely don’t want to pay $5.99 to go “ad-free”! Have you guys played your own game lately? Probably not, or you would know that you’ve ruined it for longtime Ruzzle players. 😢

Too many Ads. Don’t get me wrong I truly love playing this game & would have rated it higher but there are entirely too many ads!!!!!! After each play or turn, this game doesn’t allow you to go on to the next round without showing an ad!!! This is so annoying and aggravating!!!! I also tried to connect to Ruzzle with my Facebook Account but that doesn’t work either. I can’t even play against my FB friends!!! I am asking that you please, please eliminate some of those ads if nothing else!! I would really like to download this game again but not when there are ads after ads after ads after every single round that is played!!!! Have you tried playing Ruzzle yourself???? Do the ads aggravate you???

Best game ever!. I play this game every day. Totally hooked because it is just so much fun. You play against others and can even have a chat with other players. The developers respond to concerns and they keep it clean so even children can enjoy playing with someone on their level. You will enjoy this game and not be disappointed! I do want to ask the developers to allow us to purchase , with coins earned , more than just the Halloween pack of icons. I have had that pack for years! It is fun to change up your appearance! Thank you so much!

Addictive Game. Been enjoying this app for awhile now and have had little or no issues w it til recently w the increase in ads (which I understand) however, ads whose audio still comes through even while phone is Muted or do not have the option to silence, just make me close the app and maybe come back to it later. Oh and then there’s the ever repeating baby diaper commercial.....good grief! Yes I know, if the commercials are a nuisance, then just buy the game which is probably the motivation for the increase in ads. I’m hoping and waiting for a “sale”. Still enjoy the game though and that’s why I’ve changed 5 star rating to 4 stars.

New version needs some improvements. I play both English and Russian Ruzzle, Team Play (I am a captain) and Tournaments. I am mostly happy with the game but... My complaint is for scoring in Team play. There are come opponents playing with whom would give me only half of the prize. When I see then I try to avoid playing with them but this is a clear bug by developers. Another complaint is about my right as a captain to remove a player who does not play or is unresponsive. I used to be able to do that, but recently noticed it was not possible anymore.

Great Game. For a While. I’ve been playing Ruzzle by myself for several years. Always good, challenging boards. But all of a sudden about 2 weeks ago the boards became unplayable. Almost all vowels or all consonants. That is not challenging. You can make a few words with them but most of the board or whole quadrants are useless. I started quitting when I see an unplayable board and sometimes would go through many of them before I’d find one even remotely usable. Then I just stopped playing. Three stars for it being so good for so long. I updated the app and all is well so back up to 4 stars.

TONS of ads. I love playing this game and everything about it, but the ads. Immediately after every single time you play there’s an ad and there’s no option to skip it after a few seconds. I know many games have ads, but this is excessive and annoying. The ads also are not short. With most of them, you have to wait for it to finish, then wait for an X to load in the corner to finally remove it. Maybe I’m just impatient, but I’d love to be able to play for longer without a lengthy ad popping up and preventing me from playing again after every single round.

You need coins to win team play. I enjoy this game. I have been playing for years. I recently started playing with a team. The first week or two we came in first place. We did well. Now, We lose more games than We win. The only way for me to win, is to use coins. If that’s going to be the norm for the game, then you should make it easier to earn coins. The surveys don’t always yield the results expected. Also when I challenge a player, It’s always someone who has more skill than I do. It’s hard to win against them also.

Went backward with avatars. Love this game but absolutely HATE the new avatars. Put the old ones back or go back to FB. These are not remotely representative of anyone. Allow a picture upload. The game itself is great, I love that you can chat with people on the game. I really like the statistics, it would be nice if you could choose the opponents you get stats for. Or remove some. I also don’t think they’re accurate, or they take a long time to update. I used coins for the “Peeping Tom” and have never seen anyone’s score in advance. That feature is broken. Finally, I am not sure why you end at level 60?

BEST WORD GAME GONE SOUR. I had this at 5 Stars, it was my FAV word game for several years. Now in order to earn free coins they offer the player a chance to take surveys, but all the surveys basically want total access to your phone and your personal data to do. Cookies, info collection for sale, etc. Absolutely horrible for those not reading fine print. In addition to that, the entire new Tournament system and taking away Ink, as well as several small changes make it all feel like an unnecessary excuse to add the coins for views and coins for survey options. Nope, you don’t have to do either, you can simply purchase coins, but it’s more the fact they took a game that functioned extremely well and is very popular and have started trying to drain it for all it’s worth

It’s fun but.... I enjoy playing Ruzzle, especially with friends, I like to practice and play against other people and players, it’s fun, stress relieving and overall addicting, one problem I have with this is the ads, I know you guys need ads to help keep your app running, I get that, it’s just every once and a while I get the ads where it is impossible to 'X' out of without them bombarding you to download the pointless app that I don’t even need. Some of the apps don’t even have an X so I am stuck on a page and wherever I click something that I THINK will get me out of the page, the stupid notification to buy the app pops up. So other than that, the app is pretty good.

Pay to Win. Wow. This game is absolutely pay to win. Everything costs in game money. Even to view stats!! When you run out of on game money, which happens very soon, you basically can’t do anything. The matchmaking is horrible, when I started I was level 2 and I played with someone level 43. This game needs skill based match making. The events are absolutely horrible, I played and got 6th, and so was supposed to get a reward for placing. But then I did not get any reward, and my entry fee was wasted. There is also no free profile customization, I can’t even change the emoji of my profile to something actually decent. The only good things about this game is the team/clan system and the gameplay. I am yet to try out the team system but it looks good, and the game’s overall gameplay is quite nice. But other than that, the game is pretty under average.

Keeps freezing. I love this game and plays it almost everyday, but I hate that about 40% of the time I play the game it freezes throw out the 2 mins which causes me to lose time and words. I thought maybe it was because I was playing while it was changing so I unplugged it and it still kept freezing. Can you please fix this problem. I realized I’m not the only one some of the players I play with say they have the same problem. Thanks in Advance

Less appealing now. I have played Ruzzle for years but may quit soon. Your adds are beyond obnoxious requiring several clicks and wasting 45 seconds for a lousy 15 coins. I only use them for tournament play but it is ruining the experience- so much time for so little reward. You no longer earn coins for 1 on 1 play. The adds on other games like candy crush are much quicker and don’t require several clicks and you get more rewards. Plus there are glitches robbing you also. Hate to say it after all these years but Ruzzle has really gone downhill. Also, there are so many words that don’t count - assuming because they are offensive but yet it is a word game.

Fun but aggravating and clearly some rigging. Have always been fond of these type games and have been playing this one for a couple years. Team play opponents: scores are rigged. Watch a replay and in the final second the opponent’s board lights up like a Christmas tree. The results show a pile of obscure high-value words and *boom* you’ve lost by several hundred points. Happens CONSTANTLY. From the description, the developer claims that team games are a previously recorded result of someone’s play on that board. If that’s the case, the game is being hacked pretty severely and then those hacked results being saved and propagated. If that’s not the case, the scores are being manipulated by design. Either way, it’s BS really. Stick to tournament or live games to avoid the BS. Team opponents are crap.

Ads and Fun. This is the best word game ever invented!! We played this over 25 years ago. Time moved on and game forgotten until 2 years ago. I still believe it's the best word game ever. Unfortunately, the amount of ads on extremely high, with a long ad after every play. It feels like the ads are about half as long as the party hand. It makes you want to quit playing. I know the creator should make money however..... I also wish you could communicate with the people you play against. I still love the game, think it's my all time favorite but hate all the ads.i don't play that offen because of the ads. But I honestly believe it's the best game ever

MY WORD GAME SKILLS HAVE SKYROCKETED. I have been playing RUZZLE for years. Now no one in my family will play BOGGLE with me at our annual Thanksgiving reunions because I always beat the pants off them—-that’s what Ruzzle has done! My 87 year old mother comes close because she plays RUZZLE, too. The only bad thing about RUZZLE is the advertisements,but obviously I have learned to live with them. I refuse to pay to get out of them, and there are still occasional “bugs” as far as the ads are concerned. My fave part of RUZZLE is the team playing.

Deanna7e. I love this game. I’m not especially fast at this but I’ve improved a little over time. I like the challenge. I don’t talk with people on here which has been nice. A different word game I barely play anymore because of the scammers, liars, and catfish types... all of a sudden people were thinking it was a dating site. So coming over here to Ruzzle has been quite wonderful and entertaining. I have had to practice a lot of patience with all the ads that have increased... at this time I cannot pay for ad free so I endure:) All in all it’s my favorite game💗

Thumbs DOWN!. I used to LOVE this game. It was very addicting and fun to play. You could always find a friend to play with. Now, the game freezes, they have locked you out of stats and constantly pop up ads! You can't even see your opponents score to know how you are doing! I was going to upgrade but other people said that it was still bad! Come on developers... Give us our game back! This used to be a 5 star game! Update May 2020: All of the extras keep freezing the screen!! The ads stall and won't let you get back to the tournament! VERY FRUSTRATING! I have shut down several times hoping to reset the screen. Also, when you actually get to play, the letters will jump when you swipe them and some won't register. 😤

Great support team. When I switched devices I had problems getting my game back to where I was from my other device. The support team was very helpful and understanding. They gave me the instructions needed to get my game back. I didn’t have all of my statistics but it was enough that I was able to quickly get back to my previous purchase. I haven’t had any problems since. This game is addictive. I’m a huge word puzzle fan and this game fits my needs. It’s also nice to know that they support their game and will go to any lengths to make sure you enjoy playing.

Ruzzle. Love the game!!! I’ve been playing for many years. But I must express extreme displeasure with your recent “upgrade”!! I’ve been playing the regular game, team play, and tournaments. Now, tournaments have been ruined because you must use chips to play. And there is no longer an option to acquire bonuses by watching ads, you must use coins, which now can essentially be acquired only by paying for them. (I’m aware they can be earned, but nowhere near as easily as before.) Unfortunately, your desire to cause people to spend more money for coins means that I will no longer be able to play team play once I’m out of coins. I find that incredibly disappointing!

What a shame!. This game is a lot of fun except the team play is now allowing players to reset their ranks to beat others. It’s ridiculous that a person with a one ranking can score 50 words in one minute. The other players are cheating to get more coins. Also the puzzles they say are random are always crappy until you try fifty times. I hate that I paid for this crap and that I keep trying to play but it’s clearly far from fair and the developers should accurately rank players in team play. I’m disgusted with this app and will give it up for good this time. Best to never start playing this game because you want it to at least be fair and it’s not. How about the tournaments and team play all actually get the same puzzles. No way the scores would be out of place like they are or maybe the developers like to screw people over. They are great at it.

Really good game. Some problems.. Fun to play. I’ve been playing for years. Here are some negatives that are negative enough for me to remove 2 stars. When you chat with another player, there’s no proper SEND key, so I often end up deleting my message. Also, Ruzzle often causes me to resign from a game, even though I have no plans to do so. At the beginning of a game, it’s often impossible to swipe on the top left game boxes. Sometimes I want to challenge another player to a game, but Ruzzle simply won’t let, even though I haven’t been blocked. Those are a few negatives, but overall, it’s a terrific game.

Don’t like the newest version. I’ve been playing Ruzzle for a really long time. Years. It’s a stress-reliever for me. However, the recent addition of a pop up that says whether you won or lost hides the game results. I can no longer easily see how my opponent or I came from behind to win the game. I always want to be able to see what words I missed. Now I can only easily do that for the first two rounds, but not the third. It has removed a lot of my enjoyment of the game. If this isn’t fixed, I’ll be in the market for a new stress-reliever. And that would make me sad.

Disappointed with most recent update. I have been happily playing this game for YEARS! I paid to have the ads removed a long time ago. However I do not mind watching them in order to gain advantages... I've even purchased a few things this way over the years. But this new idea of charging coins/chips for EVERYTHING is a horrible disappointment. I've always enjoyed the weekly tournaments but will no longer be playing them since you have to pay (even without any advantage). I also enjoy the team play, but now that I don't have my daily 100 free coins, I'm not sure I'll participate in that either. I'll keep playing against my Ruzzle friends, but you've lost me as a player on the rest of the games. It seems the only way to earn a decent amount of coins is to watch the daily advertisement over and over again...SAD.

I play every day!. 1. There are so many word games out there, and this is the one I keep coming back to. The game combines strategy, vocabulary, spelling, and speed. What I like most is the game is clean. It doesn’t have a lot of flashy, noisy things to distract. Plus it never crashes or freezes. I’ve been playing for many years now. I bought every upgrade I could (there aren’t many) because I want to support the developer so the game won’t ever go away. 2. All that said, I only play one on one games now. The tournaments are crazy expensive (Ruzzle money) and I no longer enjoy them. Plus the opponent matching seems skewed.

Fun, fast, and addictive. Since I’ve played about 9500 games now, I have to give 5 stars. Obviously I love it. I bought the premium version way back, ages ago, so I never see ads. I have no technical problems. The game is fun and the app works great. It would be nice if it had more avatars, or if I could upload a photo of my choice. (I don’t link anything at all to Facebook!) There have been many improvements to the app during the time I’ve had it. Any complaints I’ve had in the past have been resolved. Get the app, buy the upgrade, and start having fun!

Unfair advantage in team play!. I enjoy playing Ruzzle, but I do not like the option of getting help from teammates in team play. I choose my opponent based on their speed and accuracy. THEIR speed and accuracy, not the teammates. If I want to play against a really tough opponent because the rewards are greater, I’m going in with my eyes open and I know it will be a tough game. But when I choose an opponent who has mediocre skills, it’s only fair that all three rounds should be played as my skills against my opponents” skills. Suggestion: either discontinue team help or team identify it someway before that opponent is chosen. That way, if I wanted to play them I would know whether or not I should also use team help.

Unfair play. Does anyone even play fairly on this game anymore? I have been playing for years and lately every single game I have played against another random player or the other opponents on the team plays have all clearly been using some type of Ruzzle Cheat to play all of the highest scored words and/or all of the words that are on board. There should be a way to make the game more honest and fair.. It’s not even fun to play it anymore when you have no fair chance at winning any games at all and end up loosing all of your chips to people who need to cheat to solve word puzzles. I mean, I have even played against some people where they would have normal scores in the first two rounds and then the on the final somehow end up with over 100 words and all of them being the highest scoring words on the board.

Please fix glitches. I really enjoy this game. I stopped playing for a long time because of constant glitches during game play. Its been a few years and, since I still kept the app, I decided to start playing again. Lots of new additions and changes to get used to but, what hasn't changed is that glitch. It freezes and locks up when you're trying to swipe the letters and that, obviously, uses up your time and completely throws you off. I see some other players have the same problem. I'd love to keep playing but, if it keeps happening then I think I'll have to stop playing for good.☹️

Newest update makes me sad. I’ve been playing Ruzzle for years!! I’ve loved it, great stress reliever, can play for hours...BUT the newest updates make me SAD!!! I guess they want to capitalize off of people being quarantined and more willing to watch long videos and pay for all sorts of things. But all the videos, “reward opportunities” and addition of all these “events” it’s just all too much. It’s made the game buggy and glitchy which does sometimes happen after a big update and I’m sure they will attempt to fix but I’m really disappointed in this update. I will give it a few days but this may be the end...

Love the game but..... I have been playing this game for a long time and have paid to have no ads, etc and the game usually works well. Recently however, when I get to the 3rd match in tournament mode, after that match it gets hung up “submitting score.” It doesn’t matter how long I wait the score never gets submitted. I have to close the game down and restart thereby losing the ink I used for extra time and having to replay that match. This has happened two times now. It’s ridiculous. I work hard to build up ink and to have it taken away to restart the match.

Can’t control the sounds!. I really enjoy playing this game, however I cannot play it as often as I would like because many, many, many of the ads are very loud and the sound cannot be turned off by either the phone’s mute button or a mute button on the screen. In many situations where I would be likely to play the game (and, therefore, watch the required advertisements-even tho those that are 30 seconds are far too long) I cannot play because the noise would be unacceptable in the situation. Therefore I play only for a few minutes very late at night, and, even then, often have to just close out of the game due to the disruption of the ads.

New Version is severely disappointing. After playing for years, I made a huge mistake and downloaded the new version. Game play which used to be free and now costs 10 chips per round. Boosters, which used to be just that, are pretty much required to achieve a decent score and are 50 coins each. Instead of traditional tournaments, they have implemented live events. To win a live event you have to spend more chips and coins than you get as your prize. Obviously Ruzzle values money more than its customers and will lose both if they don’t revert back to their original game. Quite frankly they deserve to.

Great game until they added the pop ups. This is an update and my 5-star original is below. With the most recent version there is an obnoxious pop up immediately after every tournament round asking if I want to add more time with coins. It’s right in the middle of the screen so very easy to hit yes by accident. PLEASE get rid of that. Or at least give us a way to turn it off in settings. ———— original review ————- I’ve been playing for years and it’s one of the first apps I open in the morning to get my brain fired up. That, coffee and at least one cat in my lap is my daily ritual. The developers are quick to fix bugs and there’s always someone new to play against. Thanks and keep up the great work.

Ruzzle. Love the game. I keep improving. Seeing the words others use helps me to increase my vocabulary. I'm getting faster. However, just this week I have noticed some glitches. Mainly involving the same puzzle being repeated over and over several times. I noticed not only does it send me to repeat the same puzzle and round but if I can get it to advance to the next round it repeats the same puzzle. Is anyone else having this issue? Please fix. I don’t like to resign but playing the same puzzle isn’t fun or fair. Thanks.

Great game..But!. About 3 Stars..Game is 5 Stars..the Ads are 0 Stars..these new Yahoo "Ads" are HORRIBLE! I understand ads mean money, but, the content of these ads are absolutely trash. 9 out of 10 ads are Hollywood celebrity garbage. They claim it’s MY algorithm “likes”. B.S.! It’s all the garbage they are pushing. Some “influencers” makeup routine? Rappers talking in a round table about Rap? A celeb losing weight? Don’t care. Not one ad is of anything I’m even slightly interested in. They are so annoying. Please, less crappy ads! Or at least something relevant. Absolutely no interest in Revolt, Vogue, Soccer, Rap…but, guess what crappy ads they constantly use…all of the above. Good game..annoying ads.

Fun game but broken ad removal. I’ve been playing for years and I paid years ago, three devices ago, but when I just downloaded and tried to restore ad removal it doesn’t do anything at all and I’m subjected to boring videos of stuff I don’t care about and honestly don’t want to play anymore. I always buy premium versions because I hate ads but apparently they don’t care that I have already and keep prompting me to pay again. I haven’t contacted customer service because I’m using the same account that worked several times and see many reviews with the same complaint which indicates they pushed a broken version and don’t care to fix it unless people make a fuss. So get bent

Change is good…until it’s not. I was happy to see that the length of some of the ads have been shortened. That is an improvement but now they sometimes have two ads in one. The thing I have be most disappointed is that you pay 50 points for a booster on the word and now it is no longer triple word but just double letter. Now instead of 50 points you have to pay 200!!!!! That is after you paying 50 and then 100 to get up to getAre you kidding. In the middle of a tournament the rules changed concerning how many coins that is needed. It has gone from being a fun diversion to watching a lot of ads to play one game.

Constantly crashes. Been playing this game on my iPad for a few years. Always worked fine. Now, it crashes constantly. I can't even get it to finish loading a game most of the time , or I start playing and it knocks me off the app before my turn is complete. People are probably wondering why I'm not taking my turn. Actually, the app worked fine until the free ad for 20 extra second or triple pt tile was added. And you waste your time watching the commercial for free points and the app crashes after the commercial every time. In addition, I've never liked that I can't add a friend to my weekly tournament game, your opponents are preselected for you.

Flawed Update. As a longtime Ruzzler, I decided to give this new update a chance before passing judgement, however, after trying it for a week now, I have to concur with others that this is not a positive change. In addition to multiple bugs in areas that worked fine before, the new “event” system simply doesn’t make sense to play unless you want to spend significant money to play for the reward of bragging rights only. The cost to play the events is too high relative to the prizes, even if you don’t use boosters. I feel like there were some good ideas here, but the quality control was poor for this release and there is almost no other way to view the event setup as anything other than an aggressive attempt at a money grab.

Current Version. When I first got Ruzzle six years ago, I LOVED it! You could text w/in the game (someone I “met” while playing shared my profession in another state, and has given great advice in tough times — an unexpected bonus), it was fast, it was exercising my mind, it was two minutes per round...now: it’s still all that, but there are ads in between. To get around that, there is an option to pay not to have ads, which has made my playing experience wonderful again‼️

Extremely fun and addictive!! 😝. This game is a fun quick pace game to get your brain moving! It's some what like an almost easier, and more competitive version of scrabble. Weekly tournaments are something I look forward to every week. It's fun and exciting to see your name up on the leader board, almost like your in some sort of sporting tournament! This game is super fun and addicting, but at the same time a great learning experience to learn all sorts of new words, and how to spell them. I hope that anyone who plays this game enjoys it just as much as I do. 😊
