No in ear detection function. The old bose app allows to enable/disable the in ear detection function so it doesn’t switch to aware mode automatically every time you take off one earbud, but this new app eliminated that option

Then I looked at Bose comfort earbuds Read the reviews & decided to buy some Got them quickly, charged them put them in & wow! Crystal clear, my music is on a whole different level! Another app that does not work. I love my Bose products but the app connectivity with the QC Earbuds is horrible. They made me change apps after months of ownership and now I have a second app that won’t connect and throws an error every time I try to link. I can make them link via Bluetooth but I lose the tap options

no enabling/disabling auto-off mode. earbuds turn off randomly after 15-20mins while laying down. i was just trying to take a 30 mins nap only with the beautiful sound of bose and super awesome ANC. but one of the earbud randomly will shutting off after like 15-20mins. Thought it was the battery but put the earphones back into the case showing 95% and put back on my ear, and it would work. I repeated a few times all the same. So as long as i’m not moving and laying down. it will auto shut off. It will treat it like inactive. But if im sitting up and doing work or study for hours. they don’t do that at all. Please add the auto-off toggle feature in the app. I will change my rating to 5 stars.

Awful. Does not do anything. It opens a page that points to the same app in the app store. Can Bose do anything remotely right?

Let me close it. The app is useful. The fact that the app insists on being open whenever I’m using the headphones, to the point where it opens on top of whatever else I’m using, negates all the usefulness.

Doesn’t work. Flakey at best, usually doesn’t connect with my earbuds even though phone is connected to Bluetooth with them. Poor programming at its finest.

App is terrible. App opens constantly if I have voice control on so I have to turn that off. Now the morning after I got it I can’t even open the app because it says my earbuds aren’t connected.

Absurd. After spending a small fortune on QC Earbuds one discovers they only work on brand new phones (two years or newer) and they don’t work with iPads, Windows Pro 6 tablets, sound bars (except Bose) or anything else. I don’t need quality sound to place phone calls. Bose has completely let down their customers with this mistake and they don’t tell you any of this before you purchase them. So Bose; what’s the point behind this disaster?

Perfection. I am a strong Apple customer, but the AirPods simply didn’t fit. The Bose QCE have so many functions that I find it increble!

Great but work still needs to be done.. The headphones and customizations for them on this app are great. The downside of the app is it keeps crashing and opening itself and the voice control could use some fine tuning. This is new so it is expected. If these issues get fixed I’d say it would be 5/5 for me. As I was writing this the app closed and opened on me so for now I’m hatching up as bugs that need fixing.

App not working. Tried pairing the app and its not working i keep getting cloud flare 1101 issue and there’s no work around.

Another App. If you’re going to force the user to install and navigate a secondary app, at least make it user friendly. Not being able to have any sort of control natively is a huge disadvantage

App doesn’t work. I’m m getting “error 1101” every time I try to connect my earbuds to the app. Please fix and update the app soon since I can’t use the other Bose app any longer for this product.

Zero stars. Whenever I try to connect my earbuds in this app it directs me to download the app in the App Store. You know, the app I’m working from. It just keeps circling back to the App Store when I try to connect my QC earbuds.

Good Bad and Indifferent. This app is great for customization but the fact that it automatically opens even when closed is annoying. There needs to be an option to only use the app when desired. I don’t always need the voice assistant and don’t need this app open in the background just listening when not in use.

Good Bose app for once. This app actually functions as intended , using this as remote when using QCE on pc , very responsive and amazing connectivity between devices, great job Bose

Won’t connect. At this point all the Bose apps I have used to connect my ear buds to my iPhone are actively hindering me. My phone connects better without any Bose app in between. Terrible

Not good. My earbuds that I have had forever won’t connect anymore so I back in this app to reconnect ( no idea why they disconnected to begin with) and my earbuds show up and when I follow the instructions to click on them to set up it just sends me to the app store to open the same app I am already in! Nothing happens just in this death spiral. Find the whole thing annoying. Why do I need to set my ear buds up in an app that then randomly removes them?!

Infuriating. This app is very infuriating and annoying. To change anything to a different ear bud it makes you confirm a couple times. When I close the app to also keeps reopening with no ability to close it. I have never had this be a problem before. Considering taking my earbuds back even though I love them otherwise.

Terrible. I get that an expensive product has a lot of features that might be a bit more complicated than cheaper products. But I can’t even connect my earbuds to this app, it just sends me in circles. This product won’t even connect via a normal Bluetooth connection wo the app so they’re basically useless. Terrible product and no product service for $300 earbuds.

Voice Prompt AWFUL!!!. The ear buds are good yes but please Bose find a way to turn off the voice prompts the voice is soooo loud and annoying, if I was Bose right out the box there would be no voice prompts and then people could have the option to turn it on if that is there preference, but reading most of the lower star reviews they are all saying the same thing, TURN OFF THE VOICE PROMPTS!

Best by far. I have had several different top brand ear buds. The Bose QC are by far the best for canceling out noise. I work in a loud machine shop and can clearly hear my music or phone calls at less than half volume. 10/10 recommend

An app that actually works.. I rarely write reviews but I have a little extra time on the treadmill waiting for the preworkout to hit so… I bought the Bose quietcomfort earbuds. I haven’t had Bose ear bud in probably a decade but I had recently lost my AirPods. So I decided to go with these. The Bose has noise canceling dialed. Went from a noise gym of 85 year old men moaning from lifting a 5lb dumbbell to a quiet bliss. Couldn’t be happier with the app and earbuds. 10/10 recommend.

Song starts playing when I remove and replace. There’s a “convenient” feature to stop music when you remove an earbud, then resume when you put it back. The problem is, I often use these for games, so there’s no media playing. And if I ever remove an earbud and put it back, whatever media I WAS playing (say, hours ago) starts playing again. Please add the ability in the app to turn off this annoying “feature”!

Fogetaboutit. I’ve tried other brands. They either fall out of my ears, don’t hold a charge or, have bad audio quality. My Bose QC solve all those issues. I can honestly say that “I’ve found my bud”.

Unable to turn off auto ear detection.. App does not allow you to turn off auto ear detection. Googling this issue brings you to a bose suppprt article telling you to simply open the Bose app and turn it off. Well if you open the bose app it tells you to download this garbage app. Which doesn’t have the setting available. What does this mean? If one falls out and you can’t find it, can’t turn up the volume ! What a joke - bose has gone downhill.

Worst app, mid earbuds. I truly do not understand all the positive reviews for this app. It is terrible, clunky, poorly designed. It takes forever to load, and only connects to my device about half the time. And voice command ONLY works when the app is open (and connected). I bought these earbuds to replace my broke. AirPods, and I have been very disappointed with everything so far.

This app. I love this app sooo much! It makes listening to my music with my earbuds so much easier especially with the voice control!!

Superior. Bose products are superior in every way and it isn’t even close. I can’t wait to build my home entertainment system around it.

High performance earbuds. Love my Bose QC buds. They fit comfortably and provide superior sound for music or audio streaming. Because I often use them in the gym, fit is important. These buds work great. Recommended.

Probably the phone but. I bought these to replace another brand, the sound quality is amazing, but the app is not useable with the IPhone’s latest upgrades. No functionality at all. They do connect but nothing else works

Annoying & Not Functional. The buds themselves are great. The app and functionality leave a lot to be desired. It tours seamlessly transitions between devices - that’s not even remotely accurate. It’s a giant pain compared to beats and AirPods. The app itself is awful. Once you pair in, the app automatically keeps itself open and then randomly shifts through settings (voice control, quiet mode, and announces it’s disconnected).

Useless app. This is stupid! It says to download the app and after getting it, signing in, giving it permissions to see all Bluetooth devices, agreeing to their terms and selecting the earbuds what does it do??? It takes me to the app I already had installed for all my other Bose products. That’s all! Like I said… USELESS! 🤷‍♂️ None of the screenshots in this app pop up because the only thing it does, again, is take me to the App Store to use the app I already had!

Blown Away. I’ve had quite a few Bose headphones. Theses are by far the absolute best headphones Bose are any other brand that I’ve owned period! The additional control over sound and multi-point connectivity!!! I also love the voice control for me it works flawlessly!

Works well but needs ability to shut off in ear detection. PLEASE ADD ABILITY TO SHUT OFF IN EAR DETECTION. Some apps or streaming services do not work well at all with this feature on. If you place the earbud face down the sensor won’t stop audio. I have to race to put an earbud down on the table as fast as possible. Please bring back, this was a useful option before!

The best Earbuds. You Can control everything from the phone, avoid noise , and have good quality sound , also can control the music with the ear. Answers phone calls and more !

They’re so much better than apple. As someone who uses apple a lot, these earbuds are amazing. Apple breaks so easily and they fill up with wax which is impossible to clean without, all I have to do is take the ear piece out and rub the wax off and they don’t break so quickly

Won’t stop reopening. When I close an app it means I’m done using it. But this is designed to keep reopening if you’re using the headphones over and over and over again until. An app that forces you to let it run in the back round at all times is just poorly designed and makes me never want to buy anything from Bose again.

No option to turn on auto Off. The team behind this app made a major mistake by not putting an option to turn off the auto off feature on the QCE. If you do not move for 10 or so minutes the earbuds will automatically turn off. This is terrible as I always listen to music to go to sleep. Absolutely brain dead feature and design. I will never be buying a Bose product again.

Glitchy. Don’t turn voice control off accidentally otherwise the quiet comfort earbuds freak out when you close out the app and it’ll automatically keep making the app pop up. Ear buds are decent when they aren’t in spazz mode.

Great sound and comfort. I like the quality sound, I am still learning how to set them with all the functions, good price and quality product compare with other brands that are more expensive. I like them a lot! 😎

BEWARE! DO NOT BUY!!. The worst earbuds, terrible customer service, they do not care about customers. Earbuds turn off after 10 minutes due to auto-off that you can’t control. This was done on purpose to get customers to buy other products. The new world of app technology and shady practices! BUYER BEWARE! Do not get Bose Products the sound is mediocre and noise cancellation is not better or worse than competitors. Bose is NOT the company it was 10 years ago. DIFFERENT OWNERS! BEWARE! Don’t buy!

Best sounding earbuds I’ve had but…. Bose is one of the best sounding devices I’ve used and the earbuds almost never fall out but I wish there was a notification for getting a text message.

Garbage App. This app is absolute garbage. I am connected to my phone but the app won’t recognize it most of the time. I have to disconnect and reconnect multiple times for the app to finally recognize the earbuds. Sometimes I actually have to reset my phone to get the app to work properly. You would think with the LARGE amount of money we spend on these earbuds that their app would work better. Would not recommend at all, EVER!!

Love these so far. Do these have any way to find the buds if I were to misplace one? I had Jaybird vista 2 before and I could get at least an idea on a gps

Excellent earbuds for outdoor running with aware feature!. Amazing battery life and portable form factor makes it ideal for outdoor running. Nothing beats my Bose earbuds as far sound quality goes and the aware feature is very useful when needed in urban spaces / traffic

Amazing. Noise canceling, bass control and more amazing features . Can adjust side of earbuds to fit comfortably in ear and perfect sound . I love the color matches everything I own . 10/10 earbuds

Needs improvements. Somewhat buggy. Could use some improvement. Also, other brands offer more features and settings. Sometimes, doesn’t start without an Internet connection. Apparently, Bose doesn’t care much about the users of this cheaper model. A lot of irrelevant reviews with high ratings are posted here. I wish Apple were moderating the reviews more closely. Really disappointing.

Unbelievable. These earbuds are absolutely unbelievable in sound quality. I can enjoy music again like I did 60 years ago. I didn’t realize how much I missed listening to music. I highly recommend these to all my senior compatriots.

Waste of money. Absolutely the worst purchase ever. Does not stay connected to any of the iPhones new or old. The app is a COMPLETE DISASTER! Please buy something else! Not worth the constant stress! Try stopping several times during your workouts to get this to link with your phone! Second ones I bought $500 down the toilet a big waste of my hard earned money and the time and frustration involved forget about it!!! Sorry Bose these buds are terrible

Needs improvement of function features badly. The fact they don’t allow you to disable in-ear detection is a disappointment. It’s quite annoying when music pauses whenever I just remove an earbud from my ear. A choice would be nice seems like something the app could easily allow.

Great App. 10/10 would give six stars if I could. I was on the brink of divorce and a Bose customer service rep talked me off the ledge and taught me communication is key if you want a marriage to last.

The best. Can’t find any device that comes close to function and perform as well as these buds. Really nice set of earbuds. Ya ya Bose is definitely not a cheap brand. However you get what you pay for with Bose. And every penny was worth it. Though at the Pricey end. Am satisfied over all.

Weird connectivity issues. The app forgets my device every time I put the headphones back in the case. The Bluetooth is still connected to my phone,but the app requires me to reconnect to it and rediscover the headphones each time. Really odd. Also not a fan that there are multiple apps for various Bose products but, that’s just a gripe. Solid app once connected, just have to get there first

Really great quality. The setup is super easy, I love the sound & they are surprisingly comfortable!! These are definitely living up to their name! And All of this was for a shockingly low price! I have nothing bad to say about my experience!!

first time getting these! impressed:). i’ve always wanted bose for the longest time and i’ve been looking for something new with good bass to listen to edm and the like with and these are great! reminds me of when i got my skullcandy skullcrushers evo. i enjoy the app being easily accessible and nice to navigate through, love the small sleek simply design of the earbuds themselves. especially appreciate the custom equalizer option to make the sound just how i want! really good app:)

Best Headphones I’ve owned. I’ll keep this short, the QuietComforts are the best earbuds I’ve ever owned. They’re quick, customizable, and incredibly high quality. Only downside, they’re about 200 after taxes.

Not for sleep. Bose ANC is the best I’ve experienced, but the QC earbuds have a feature that you cannot turn off: if they don’t sense motion for a set amount of time, the headphones turn off. Then, when you turn them back on, they chime. This is the absolute worst for sleeping. The other Bose app has a setting to turn this feature off. Not including it for the earbuds is a huge oversight.

Where is the in ear detection?. I don’t mind most of the app but the lack of option to turn off in ear detection is so annoying! The previous app had that option and it was great for times when I want to move around without my headphones pausing for no reason. Bring back the option of turning in ear detection on and off.

So far so good…. New to Bose sound experience… Someone handed me a pair of Bose Sports and they were very well used but, THE SOUND… Ordered some Bose QC and loving them….not sure the need of a whole separate app from other Bose apps…alls I can say is that these are the best sound to ever hit these ears via buds!

A few issues, but still useful. I notice that every time I reopen the app to check something, I have to reconnect my earbuds to the app, and sometimes this fails so I have to try a few times. To note, no updates are available for the app or earbuds. Apart from that, nice to have.

Love it. The sound quality is amazing … battery life it’s very impressive . BUT the EQ needs improvement there is room for improvement . But above all the sound quality is amazing A+

Mediocre. The right earbud of my Bose QC Earbuds stopped working suddenly a few months ago, not the first time this has happened, I sent in an earlier pair for replacement. But alas in this most recent instance I am out of warranty. Since the earbud stopped working I’ve reset the buds innumerable times, with no change. This app is the icing on the cake, as it endlessly redirects me to download this app, and won’t pair with the headphones. I am never, ever, buying Bose again.

Disappointing & Underwhelmed. Aside from the actual headphones deciding at random times to start continuously beeping in my ear for no apparent reason. The app itself is just as bad. When I’m using the earbuds the app opens itself…I close it and it reopens itself, completely overriding anything else Im doing with my phone, so basically the app takes control and holds me hostage on my own phone??!!?

Continually turn off and disconnect. We need the Auto-Off mode so that we can switch it to NEVER so the earbuds will stay on for the full battery life. Whenever you lay down they turn themselves off after 15 minutes and noise cancelling turns off which is not quiet nor comforting. If they would just stop turning themselves off like this they would be great. No point in having a long battery life if they don’t let you use them.
