App does not load at all since iOS update. The app stopped working since the iOS update a few months ago. Once u open the app it pops up on screen and went away almost immediately. Latest app update as 7 months ago. Can the tech team look into this? Very annoying as I have to go to the webpage to look up everything now.

Incomplete order. Was informed at pick up they were out of bread & notated on my receipt. Said I would receive a refund. Emailed customer service a week later to followup. No response or refund nearly 3 weeks later.

Curbside pick-up. Need a button that you have arrive, so that you dont have to call the restaurant or wait in the car.

Trash app. App will allow you to put in an order and payment information just to say “the data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the correct format”…um ok. You can’t order food from the app as advertised.

Dinner on a cold night. I love the food and almost never get to have it. I ordered special and my husband drove to get it. It’s cold and rainy so we ordered soup and salad. My tomato soup did not come with the croutons and cheese which really makes it perfect. There was also no bread for my monthly reward which meant our sourdough dreams were a little crushed. I ordered on the app. There really is no excuse for wrong orders. Disappointed but still tasty.

Bad for today. I agree with other comments. This is a pretty watered down app of what we all expect it to be. Today, apps like this come with a scanner so there's less hassle at the check out. Now I know passbook is fairly new, but, within the next update or two maybe you'll want to make that a priority first.

App doesn’t work!. Keep getting error messages that I’ve exceeded amount of characters. Trying to sign up but can’t because I’m stuck on the location. Oh well. Useless app.

App good/ employees terrible. Ordered food on the app and was easy. Picked up food but given the wrong food. I was working and did not have time to go back so I called and asked for a refund. They said they would process it without asking who I was. Jasmine said you gave me your name to which I replied that I only gave you my first name (which is pretty common name and spelled different ways-Laurie) and the order i was given was for another Lori. I proceeded to give her my order number and jasmine said I would see a standard day refund. What??? What does that mean? Apparently it takes 7 days to get refund and because she sounded rushed and perturbed, I don’t think she wrote down my order number, So this other Lori may get a refund I instead but now I will need to wait a week before knowing. So myself (Laurie) and another lady (Lori) got the wrong food with no help from Fremont Boudin location. Disappointed to say the least!

Horrible app. Can't select location. Never able to place order. When it worked , the people at the restaurant always make the order wrong. If you order soup bowl, the restaurant will skip the bread and just give you the soup because they claim they can't tell if it is soup only or soup bowl so they short change you.

Great restaurant, horrible app. Their app isn’t up to date with all of the food offering the restaurant offers. Furthermore, with the newest update the app will no longer let you use your rewards when ordering food, although it shows you what your rewards are. Not sure I’ve ever encounter a worse app.

Just terrible. This app hasn't worked once when I've needed it (when I'm at the cash register). For how often I visit Boudin, I should have more than zero check-ins, but this app just doesn't work. At the very least, an Internet connection shouldn't be needed to load one's account number. Passbook compatibility would be ideal.

Great App and Food. The app is fairly easy to use and you can customize your orders to an extent but not as much as if you ordered in the store (like, I can’t get my chicken salad sandwich on a croissant the way I can in the store). On occasion it’s allowed me to order something the store has run out of and in that case they have given me a call and ask about substitutes. I do find that they often get my order wrong so I always try to check before I leave the store.

New Update, Same Bad UX Design. Difficult to navigate. Not user friendly at all. Most features are not functioning. Needs to be tested.

Irvine Amazing!. Boudin in Orange County kills it in my opinion. I order from the Irvine location at least once a week and always impressed with how fast they make my meal with quality ingredients. I also tend to pick up a fresh loaf of bread to have for the week. This app works super smoothly and is a real blessing during busy work days. Thanks for what you do!

App won’t open on iPhone. After updating to IOS 16.4.1 (a) app will not open at all on iPhone X. Tried reinstalling and still won’t open. Please fix that issue.

Great idea!. This makes getting my points so much easier than carrying a card all the time! The staff was very helpful and quickly helped me start the program PLUS I got a free loaf of bread the same day!

Why did they bother?. Why bother to have an app if you aren’t going to at least try to make it user friendly? Want to order a sandwich? Sure. Want to take off the arugula and add lettuce? Nope. Want light onions? Sorry, it’s all or nothing. Extra mayo? Extra mustard? Different kind of cheese? Nope, nope, nope. It would’ve been nice to use Apple Pay or even PayPal, but that’s seriously asking too much.

App charged me three times for one order. Terrible user experience

Cant apply rewards on the app. Cant apply free bread reward on the app. Fix it already.

Doesn’t work won’t let you order. App won’t let me place orders. Had connection issues.

Weak Sauce. The only thing this app really does is "check you in". Why doesn't it do more? For example, it should have a menu, allow you to place your order, and then walk in and pick it up at the store. It also says you can pay with your device, but it's not linked to Passbook in any way. Come on Boudin, you could do so much more with this App!

App is Sick. I used to use the app to order lunch or dinner and have it ready ASAP or at a particular time. It was perfect. I could place an order in the morning during a break and pick it up hours later still fresh. Then the app got updated. Bad. Updated again. Still bad. Told the folks in the store and they took notes on the problem to share w corporate. Updated again. Still bad. End up calling in the order.

Joke app. Welcomes me by name yet I can't place order because it doesn't recognize my email despite me receiving emails from Boudin. I created another account with same email, logged in, clicked "order" and was told that I haven't placed an order, and was asked to log in again. I tried to log in again but was told my email was invalid again. I laughed and this point and gave up.

Sending San Francisco to New York. I just ordered Clam Chowder and Bread Bowls for my parents as a gift on the app. Very easy process.

App, Schmapp - Order is Always Wrong. Honestly, the app could be tremendous but it would not matter when the employees always screw up the order. I have had to remind them that a sourdough roll comes with salad on many occasions. The final straw was the zero chicken on a chicken Caesar salad. I’ll go to Panera.

Disappointed. Ordered on line for pick up. Ordering was easy process. Arrived to find no bread bowls ( they were out) ordered beef stew just for the garlic top bread bowl. Looked like mushy dog food, no flavor. Also ordered chili that was out as well. Would have been helpful to know about these items being out ahead so could have ordered differently. 3 dinners wasted.

Payment issues. Thae app cannot take two type of payment. Foe ex. Gift card and credit card. It shows the total amount to process but while processing it says total should be equal to the order amount🤷🏻‍♀️ if you chant it to one method of payment the app processes the transaction.

Burnt soup & terrible pizza today.. Burnt clam chowder soup & terrible pizza.

Unable to login immediately after creating account. Launched the app, created a new rewards account, then tried to use order view. Was asked to login (again?) and after entering password was told invalid login. Tried a few more times, no luck. Tried Forgot Password, and was told invalid account -- not a good user experience :(

App never works. Every time I have tried using the app to place an order , it never works. Time to delete, never have a problem ordering from Panera .

Useless. As others have written, this is a useless terrible app and over time, nothing is done to improve it. Staff dont know much about due to poor training. Mine does not allow checking in and I've deleted and reinstalled it. Multiple times staff have told me on in house orders and pick up orders, that they can't add in my member number. Honestly, if you're not going to improve its usability, then just remove it from the App Store.

App worked smoothly and easily. 5 stars for the app itself but their employee’s service left much to be desired. When we arrived at the requested time the next day for pick up, they could not find my order! After showing them my receipt, they said it was not ready and come back in 30 minutes! No apologies … NOTHING! Don’t bother to call them on the phone either - I left a message on their answering machine and NOBODY called me back so I ordered through the app instead.

Used this app a ton. I live a few blocks from the Boudin in Santa Rosa. I have used this app a lot for several years. For some reason, The company can't seem to get reliable developers. Every year or so the developers completely break the app. And that's where we are right now.

Easy App but no Rewards. The app is very easy to use. However anytime I have rewards it always tells me that they’re not valid so I have multiple rewards listed but when I add them to my order and try to check out I have to remove them to be able to check out which is pretty frustrating. It looks like the only way I can redeem the reward is when I order in person.

Useless. I am a big fan of Boudin and thought I would love this app so that I could order on the go and then pick up, but it's very user unfriendly. It won't accept my password for my online account, won't let me enter a new one so I've deleted it, would love it if it worked but it doesn't!! Fix it please!

The app is so worth it. If your in line, it would be best to sit down and wait while standing in a 40 min line. Beat to order on line for pick up or DoorDash

Horrible. I tried to use a gift card and a credit card to pay but it kept saying the total amount must equal the sum of the order. It did! Then I tried putting my other gift card in instead and it listed both cards as old cards so neither would work. So frustrating.

Not good for redeeming rewards. I wanted to redeem my rewards for my free loaf of bread but the app didn’t allow. So disappointed.

Busted. The menu loads categories, but when you select a category it falls apart. Clearly broken.

Disappointed. I ordered two orders yesterday and was disappointed with both my orders my Cesar salad with chicken is alway my go to, chicken was extremely fatty. I was given ranch dressing instead of Cesar dressing, I wasn’t given a roll that is included. Both salads I got lettuce was brown and come to find out my credit card was charged twice for my first order.

You call this a sandwich?. I ordered the family meal with two full sandwiches and two soups with bread and cookies on a Wednesday afternoon using the app. It wasn’t ready at the pick up time and the girl was very slow packing it up – I wasn’t sure if she was waiting for something but it turns out she wasn’t. What I got was a chicken salad sandwich that took about three bites to eat half of it because there was no filling in it but lots of lettuce – very disappointed. The soup was good, the cookies were good, the other turkey cranberry sandwich was OK but again lotsa lettuce and hardly any filling. Now I remember why I don’t come here -expensive for not that much food.

Yay for the new app!. I heard Boudin got a new app, so I gave it a try. It was easy to use and I skipped the long line. I’m excited it ties into my loyalty card, so I can get my free bread!

So delicious. Boudin’s has the best clam chowder bread bowl. I could eat it every day!

Useless (as in unusable). I sign into the website all the time on my PC, so I know my username and password. But when I try to sign into the app, I have to choose "I have a card" or "I need a card." I enter my frequent buyer card number, and it takes me back to the login screen. There are no other options, no Help option.

Useless app-cant order from the app. The app requires sign up and then that same username password does t work for ordering as a second is needed. No oauth so have to type pw in every time. Terrible app.

Rewards not logged. I am disappointed to say that I've eaten twice now at Boudin after signing up with the app and rewards program and the app is not registering any points.

Doesn't work. The app doesn't work. I enter in the card number, login and password and I get a message that no account exists. I can login online with the same credentials without issue. I guess there are a few bugs to work out.

Stinky. Can't use this app. Can't order on line. Get it fixed please.

Disappointing. I love Boudin and go there often. I was excited to see that they came out with an app. It just doesn't let you sign in. Signing in on their website is no problem but the app is nonfunctional.

Horrible app. I find it wierd that I have to login twice just to place an order. That is, if I can even place an order. The app won't let me enter my credit card info. The mobile drop downs don't work so I can't place my order. What use is this?!

Don't bother. Two different systems and they don't sync. Rewards never bring through to order. Can't login half the time. Can't say how much time I've wasted on this useless app.

Cumbersome. Great food at Boudin put this app is AWFUL. Constantly not recognizing my sign in (before the last update no problem). Clocking when I try to order and finally saying oops something went wrong. Deleting it. It used to work well.

Boudin dated/crappy app. They just keep losing my business due to inconvenience. You'd think they'd be state-of-the-art considering they're based out of tech capital SF/Silicon Valley. I guess I'll order chipotle - meh

Train your employees.... Train your employees on how it works. The homepage of the app states "and tap the Check-In button. That's It! It’s so easy. When you’re checked in, you can pay for your check with your device," How do Pay with your device?

Needs Apple Pay. This app is great, you can order online on the app, but it has NO APPLE PAY! Add Apple Pay and this will be awesome!

Cant use dropdowns. The dropdown to pick the restaurant location doesn't work so I'm unable to place an order. The app probably needs compatibility testing with newer versions of iOS.

Someone should get demoted over this app. It is too buggy. It is sluggish. It is not worth your time. It is a disappointment. Whoever designed this app should be demoted.

Doesn't work with iOS 9. The ordering function stopped working with iOS 9. Can no longer select a store. Worthless...

Can't even log in to use. Very disappointed that you can't even log in. After multiple tries to log in I have since just deleted the app.

Doesn't work without wifi. Who worth this app? Doesn't work without wifi and crashes afterwards.

Don't bother. I have been using this app for a year now and the latest enhancements make it crash and I end up calling in my order after trying to us the app first. Waste of time

out of state. don't get this app if you aren't near a Boudin Bakery. I got this app to order bread to deliver to AZ, because it's my husbands favorite, but this is not an option with the app. Very disappointed, hope they fix it soon.

Bummed Out!. I used this app a lot last year and loved it!! Never had problems with my orders. Now, you can't choose the store to order. Need an update to work w iOS 9!!!

Worst app. Just downloaded app, doesn’t work for online ordering. No way to enter card info.
