Issues with app. I have had hit and miss issues with the app in the past, but it seems to be getting worse. Occasionally the app wouldn’t let me order or would crash. Now I’m having the issue of it not showing my old orders and it won’t open my rewards. When I click on rewards it says that I have access to 22 via the little number by the rewards tab. But when it tries to open it just says error something went wrong. I had the issue yesterday and tried it again today. I even deleted and reinstalled the app, but it just keeps erroring. I wish it just worked correctly consistently. When it works it’s a decent and simple app to navigate, but it endlessly frustrating when it’s not working right.
No Sauce. I attempted to order a takeout order on the app for my construction workers. When I had the order complete, I had all my traditional wing orders pop up stating that they were unavailable. I changed all those wing orders to boneless and all the boneless orders came up as unavailable. I called the store that I was ordering from online and asked what was wrong. The app neglected to say that the store did not have the sauce for one of the orders. The app needs to have a way of each store being able to list what sauces, dry rubs, or anything else are available or unavailable at said location. The employees and the lady I talked with on the phone receive five stars in my eyes so thank you to them but to the app developers, I found a flaw in the system so it needs a little change added please and thank you!
The app is hit or miss. My single biggest complaint with the app is that you have to sign in every time there is an update to it. Other apps automatically remember your information but this one requires you to sign in every single time there is an update. It has also frequently told me that my password is wrong when it is not. I have had issues checking in at restaurants and I have had issues with points being generated. It needs a lot of work. The final criticism does not have to do with the app itself, but Buffalo wild wings. I think it is ridiculous that you are now charging one dollar if you order to-go orders through the app. Why am I paying you a dollar if I am placing my own order and coming and picking it up myself. I think it is ridiculous and indulgent.
Long waits, no way to cancel app orders. I made an order online, and it was supposed to be ready at 5:40pm. I arrived and it was packed. I waited 20 minutes to see my order come up on the board, after not seeing it I went to the counter to ask about my order. They said they were running behind, well DUH! I asked how long it would be they said an hour, I asked to cancel the order, they said they couldn’t because the order was made online. The only customer service number on the app is the store, who couldn’t help me. The app timing needs to be fixed. Every other restaurant app that I have used knows the wait times, and orders are ready on time. Horrible Customer Service with no way to cancel orders, or get an update on wait times. It will be a long time if ever that I order from them again.
App is good way to earn pts - lots of quirks tho. This is a great way to earn pts fast, especially when in a group. But, the app is quirky and their offers don’t always work. Often have to give wait staff phone number for it to work, their NCAA tourney thing was a mess (said they would allow a new team to be drawn.l per day....up to 8 teams) but only gave 5 days to draw them. Not the end of the world, but just not really valid. Also, right now my app says to update my interests between 5/24 and 6/24 and earn 50 pts. I have tried it 5 times and the bonus pts have not been added and the message still appears. Oh well.
Needs more customization. The app is pretty convenient and overall works like how most food apps do, no real problems there. My only advice to them is to add more customization, for example when you are picking the sauces/rubs, they don’t have an option to pick how many, it just splits it equally based on how many sauces you picked so if you ordered 20 with 2 sauces, it’s going to do 10 and 10, even if you wanted more like 15 and 5. Secondly, still on the customization, I particularly enjoy the Buffalo rub on my wedges, but there isn’t an option for that on the app, nor is there a “special instructions” section to add that in. These are the types of customization I mean, just add every option that is available when dining in/ordering over the phone onto the app, I’ll pretty much use it exclusively if they do that!
Frustrating at times. I recently used the Buffalo Wild Wings app and unfortunately had a difficult user experience. One major issue I encountered was that items were being taken off my cart without any explanation. For example, when I added wings to my cart, they would be removed when I selected a specific sauce. It was only when I removed or changed the sauce that the wings stayed in my cart. This made the ordering process frustrating and confusing. Additionally, I noticed certain customizations are missing for some of the items. For example, there were no options to select all drums or flats, or add extra sauce to my order. This was disappointing as these are options I would normally expect to see when placing an order. Overall, while I appreciate the convenience of using the Buffalo Wild Wings app, the user experience could definitely be improved. I hope these issues are addressed in the future to make the ordering process smoother and more enjoyable for customers.
Just call to order. This is app is confusing. They make it more complex then it should be and this is coming from somebody who never has trouble with apps. It’s not as as easy as picking your items and going to checkout. They give you the option to goto checkout but it doesn’t take you there when you click on checkout so your stuck at a window looking at what you want to order but can’t. Also on Tuesday when they have specials you can’t order from the regular menu to get the “bogo” they won’t deduct the price! No they have a special window you click on if you want to take advantage of the special so it’s difficult to mix and match if that’s what you want to do because it won’t give you the accurate cost. The fact I’ve took the time to write this should let you know how dissatisfied I am with this app. I literally said you know what I don’t what BW3’s anymore based on how confusing it was to order from.
Very unclear, and buggy.. Got blazing rewards? Awesome. Apply them and it’ll use them at checkout. Unless they’re not applicable, in which case the app won’t tell you, won’t apply them, will charge you, and force you to call the restaurant and cancel your order (waiting a week for a refund) to actually try to use them again. If it puts the order in at all, I’ve had that one happen too. If you’re using it at the restaurant it’s fine. I’ve never had the app work properly trying to order take out. Literally ever. It’s actually frustrating enough that I’m not going back to the physical restaurant for a few months, I’m that annoyed with this thing. Also, stop asking my favorite sports teams. I already gave them to you, but because I don’t like tennis or golf you won’t accept it. You WILL shove gambling ads down my throat when I’m trying to order food though. Very cool, I’m sure the gambling addicts love you for it.
Needs maintenance. This app is not designed well enough to give you confidence when you’re paying. I tried to use a gift card which shockingly you can’t scan, and then when you put in all the long numbers it doesn’t save it and when I applied it to my order it gave me some error which made me think I couldn’t use it, I had to cancel and it didn’t save that gift card, then I entered it all again, and the balance had already been removed from my card so I thought it erroneously used the money without ordering, so I canceled the order, and then a couple minutes later the order went through that I never officially ordered. Like that’s just so frustrating and something that should really be nailed down. Anyways, it’s not like it’s the worst app in the world by any means, but it’s UI and general fluidness could definitely be improved to give more confidence. And fix your gift card system!
Best wings ever. We have loved buffalo wings for a long time but they have to be perfect. No soggy skin but crispy and the sauce must be a combination of savory and the right amount of heat. The place we used to go to the owner’s retired and kids took over. Never the same. We try not to order wings during peak times because they don’t get cooked to crispy because they are in a time frame to get these orders out however when we do order they are the best. This is the first time I’ve felt compelled to write a review and I should have done it sooner. When a great job is done they deserve to hear about it. I talked to the manager to tell him personally how I felt about him and his staff’s performance. He said his name was Eric. It maybe a small thing but I had to do it. Frustrating app. I ordered for a delivery. But missed how you change delivery time. Went in as ASAP when I wanted it hours later. Called to fix it and they said you have to call door dash to reschedule. Nothing in the app told me doordash was the delivery service or how to contact them. I call them and he said I do t work at that time you need to cancel with bww and reorder. I called them back to cancel and was harder than it should have been. I put in a new order. 3 weeks later they never cancelled my original correctly so I was charged double for 1 meal. Had to get another manager to locate order to get refund. App doesn’t allow to modify orders. See previous history or pervious order number. Took 30 min for manager to fix again.
Uh Oh Try Again Later. This app is a very simple and extremely customizable program. Not confusing or overly complicated like some apps are. This could easily be a 5 star app if it worked. I tried for over thirty minutes to redeem rewards I had accumulated. I was logged in, had my food in the cart, information correct, and payment wasn’t need due to it being free. Well, it never went through. Just gave me Uh Oh try again later. Over and over and over. I tried using one reward didn’t work. Both rewards. Nope. Reset the app several times. Nadda. The same error over and over. The app is up to date as well as my phone. I was in a city with full LTE service and all my other apps were working except this one. My closest BWW is almost an hour away so I only go when I’m in town. Sadly, instead of utilizing the reward or ordering food in general I decided to go to Zaxby’s who’s app worked the first try. Hopefully next time I’m in town the app will work.
Rewards! or Rewards?. Everyone loves rewards. Nothing gives businesses more recidivism than being thanked with free stuff, after spending plenty of hard earned money. So... the idea of B-Dubs reward program is great. The execution is awful! Sad that in 2018 you have to save your receipt because the flawed program/app may or may not give you your points. Small businesses get a pass for instituting rewards programs with glitches, but B-Dubs? Scan your receipt? May or may NOT work. Go in during promotions? May or may NOT work. Manager tells you your points will arrive in 1-2 days? May or may NOT work. Go in to redeem your rewards? May or may NOT work. Bummer because I love most of the food, but do I keep going in? May or may Not.
Trash. This app is absolute trash. On some items you can substitute sides, on some you can’t. We’ve always been able to swap out fries for cheese curds on the $9.99 wing bundle for a $3.00 up charge, but now it won’t let you do it. There’s no place to put a note. You used to be able to sub out the southwest ranch for regular ranch and you can’t do that anymore either. And when I checked out, I was charged $0.80 more than the listed menu price. It constantly logs you out and this time wouldn’t even let me log in, giving me various weird errors. They changed the app look and feel recently, and I honestly think it’s even worse than it used to be. Ordering with it is a frustrating experience, but trying to call to place an order is just as bad because half the time, they don’t even answer the phone.
Fine enough. This app is fine enough. It crashes periodically when I’m trying to order, especially when I try to redeem rewards. Other than that it works. I mostly gave it three stars because it bothers me that with the most recent update, I can no longer choose to pay in store, I have to pay right away on the app. That’s a minor inconvenience, but what is really annoying is that it makes you pay but it does not give a field or option to leave a tip when you pay on the app. Kind of messed up for a company to bar its workers from getting tips. Because of this, I’ve pretty much stopped using it other than to check my points, and I just call my restaurant to order directly from them.
Worst food ordering app. I only downloaded this app because they will deliver at later hours of the night from their app than from grub hub or door dash. That’s fine. I’m sure it’s a financial reason. But that was the worst online ordering experience I’ve ever had. Adding more food to an order is a tiny little link you have to hunt for. Adding additional dips was limited and felt like a chore. If I wanted multiple cheese cups or an extra ranch I had to go back through the menu for each extra one I wanted. Then at the end when I finally had everything I wanted in my order. It said one of my wing orders had something unavailable in it. Fine..what is it? The wings? The sauce? Which sauce? The veggies?! Let me check...oh the edit button no longer works now that it says something is unavailable. So I had to resubmit the order a bunch of times to figure out it was the wings...I’m exhausted and decided to order elsewhere.
Used to be great. This app used to be amazing. Now it’s nothing but bugs. From the moment I updated the app to the new layout. It wouldn’t let me sign in for over a day. Kept saying network issue. Now every time I order it shows a pick up time and location. But when I click checkout. It always has an error. Then says online order unavailable at this location. Sometimes it grays out the boneless wings and says “unavailable at this location.” The check in button seems to be hidden somewhere. The layout is nice. But it would also be nice if the app actually worked Old: I love the app and the blazin rewards. Nothing better than being rewarded for spending money somewhere. The app is great for lunch hours. I only get 30 minutes for lunch and is nice to order ahead. The one thing I dislike is the redemption of points. I was scrolling through the list and accidentally redeemed something I didn’t want. Now I have to wait 24 hours to get the points back. There went my lunch for the day
Service and food. My husband and I have always loved the food at Buffalo Wild Wings however lately at this location our food is incorrect. They used to open and show u the food thst u we’re getting so the customer knew their order was rite but they haven’t done that for a while. So our orders are not right when we get home. This has happened two out of the four times we ordered in a months time. When we called to tell them they gave us a dine in credit which we never dine in due to the pandemic. We continue to go and order there cuz the food is so amazing just not pleased with the service.
Please add Cook option. I’ve used this app for years and there used to be a “special instructions” option but you guys replaced it with the ability to order flats/drums. That’s great but I am unable to request extra crispy wings. I literally can’t eat the wings how they are normally cooked. Not nearly long enough so I have to call to place the order. Please just add an extra crispy option alongside the flats/drums option. I know many people who feel the same way. Other than that though the app is great but I’d like to be able to add the wings to the order instead of having to call to make them extra crispy.
Issues and improvements. I constantly have some issue with this app. The latest issue is that it doesn’t update to the day I am ordering. I order on Thursday for BOGO but it doesn’t show the option bc the app thinks it’s a Monday. I need to reinstall app for the day to update. Numerous times my reward pts wouldn’t update which means I have to contact support to get them updated. I would like to use Apple Pay. Would also like to use my rewards through the app for pick up. The app lets you redeem the pts but no way to apply them at checkout which is misleading. We’re not comfortable with indoor eating yet so my pts just sit there. Lastly the app is cramped as far as layout, seems like a website jammed into an app. I do like the order tracking which for the most part is accurate.
Susceptible to Hackers!!. Our favorite restaurant. A well-designed, workable app. HOWEVER, twice in the past few months, hackers have used our “points” to purchase food, somehow. The first time, 1600 points were redeemed in Chicago (we are in Birmingham, Alabama). I asked the management at our local BWW, and he suggested I contact their corporate office. I did, and never received any response. I wrote it off as a fluke; then, two nights ago, 1600 of the points we had rebuilt by patronizing BWW were redeemed in Washington state (again, we are in Alabama). I have changed our app password; I wish someone had at least acknowledged my email, so that I would know that BWW is aware of the problem. In the meantime, keep a close watch on your points, and I hope you have a better experience than we had.
Missing Points. I’ve ordered through the app twice since April 18th and did not receive points either time. It’s frustrating because there has been a “3X The Points” promotion both times, too. I contacted customer service through the app and was told over a week later that I needed to contact customer service through the support email. Why is there the option to contact customer service through the app if it’s not the proper way to get ahold of someone? I’m still working on getting the issue with the April 18th order resolved and haven’t even attempted to get the missing points for my May 5th order. Ordering through the app is also an extremely frustrating experience. The app itself is very clunky. It takes ages to load each page and loves to erase your order at every turn. My payment information is never saved so the entire ordering process takes a good 20-30 minutes. I’m not happy with the new update to this app at all.
Can’t get orders don’t waste time. For the 4th consecutive time our order could not be completed through the app. The first 3 times it said it could not be completed due to various errors from just not connecting to not having the food available at the store. This was all incorrect by calling and placing the order all the issues were not true. The last time it switched our order to 3 hours later than we put it in called and they said they could correct it but come 1.5 hours later they still didn’t have the order that was the last straw. Buffalo Wild Wings should burn every computer that ever had this app data on it with fire. The app is completely useless for carry out or delivery don’t waste your time the stores also dont care about the app problems so it’s just a total waste of your time. The stores won’t stand by what you put in the app so there is no point in using it.
Addiction. recently i just had my 2 year anniversary of sobriety from this delicious establishment and i have now sinned once more and am so happy with my choices because this buy one get one deal is the only reason i wake up up every Tuesday Thursday and the reason i go to bed every monday wednesday, the weekend for me is nothing but cravings of any and all leftovers from the nights before and if that runs out then i lock myself in my room that is accustomed with 31 different lock systems in order to keep myself from breaking into any of these fine establishments and eating every wing they have
App is frustrating. Buffalo Wild Wings is one of my favorite restaurants if not my favorite. This app is horrendous, my account always signs out, they modify the menu from place to place but not the app, they recently took off the “sauce on the side” option(what I do every time, I’m about to order but now I have to call in instead of get my order online), points never register, points expire too fast(by the time I build up my points from all the errors they expire), and the location tracker is faulty too. I’ve ordered wings to a location across the city before, caught it the second it went through but made no sense ordering to a place I’ve never gone to. I was shocked to get on here for a review and see that they clock in at 4.9 stars. Must be rigged because all my years it’s never been programmed or coded correctly.
Good app. I generally love this app and find it easy to It use. The points program for free food is quite generous. You even get points for playing and winning trivia. My one issue is with the trivia. It’s sometimes glitchy and the answers are sometimes wrong. Ottawa is not the capital of Ontario yet according to the trivia it is. There are also times where the same answer is on the list twice. Which one do you pick? Only one counts as correct. I also found minor things will reject fill in the blank answers. Mt Vesuvius versus Mount Vesuvius. Neither should be wrong yet the second one is. Some fine tuning is all that’s necessary.
What’s up with the delivery option?. This app is incredibly frustrating, it NEVER lets me checkout no matter what I do. I have to go through DoorDash (or simply order WingStop instead) when I want wings. With that being said, if I choose delivery specifically, it’ll state that delivery isn’t available so I can come pick it up instead. Due to having covid AND pneumonia, pickup is completely out of the question. Anyway, this app is terrible and I can’t figure out what the problem is. Even if I use the browser on my phone it continues to give me trouble. I’ve updated, logged out and back in, deleted and reinstalled…nothing works. I’d love to love this app since BDubbs is closer, but wingstop will probably be getting our coins until BDubbs app developers fix this issue. Maybe it’s the store where I’m from in Bowling Green, KY. Other than that, I have no idea what the issue could be.
Needs some help. The app is basically functional, but you have to baby it. For one it’s really easy to accidentally swipe back after making all of the selections for an order. The keyboard settings don’t always pick up when a field will be only numbers. It doesn’t play well with the keyboard in general and fails to function with a password manager regularly. A big annoyance is that if you type in the payment info, then click on a previous step it erases what you typed. Another strange thing is why does it ask for contact info when it’s already known from your login? Just auto populate or provide a button that does it if you have a valid reason to not auto populate Overall the app feels like its a web browser or coded with practices from 10 years ago instead of a modern app.
Last Update Ruined It. Super buggy since the last update. Actually, the last two updates. My phone keeps putting up a “Not Connected” warning repeatedly every two seconds even though I am connected and all my others apps work. Also, the last two times I ordered online, my points from my receipt failed to show up (this was prior to the last update and my inability to log on.). UPDATE: Absolutely useless now. I can’t place orders because the app STILL says I’m not connected to a network even when I’m standing right next to my router. Used to be my favorite restaurant app. Now I might as well delete it. I can’t claim my points.
App & rewards program is dysfunctional. Made an online order for my wife and three kids and redeemed some of my blazin rewards. To use the rewards it had me choose what item I wanted to pick from and then it said it would be visible at checkout. Completed checkout payment & it did not show my reward item but showed it was redeemed. Completed purchase & then called the B-dubs to confirm. Had to be directed to the Mgr. told to replace order, which worked, but at the final stage of order on the app it said Uh-oh server error occurred!!! So had to call back, lucky the Mgr. was willing to fix the issue. But app forced me to place my order THREE TIMES!!! Appreciate the rewards program but app needs to be fixed to want me to place an order in the future
Watch your pick up time!!!. Used this app to place a pick up order an hour before my restaurant closed, normally we call to order and the food only takes about 15 minutes so our store is ok with ordering that close to closing time, but we thought we’d start using the app to earn rewards. Bad idea. After picking out our food and setting the pick up time to (today ASAP), then moving on to contact information the app changed our time to tomorrow. I changed it back to ASAP, which by the way WAS ALLOWED BY THE APP, it wasn’t grayed out or not an option. Then I went on the put In my payment info and hit pay now only to find out it put my order through for pick up when? TOMORROW!! We only figured out it would be ready tonight when we got there to pick the food up. Won’t be using this again as I don’t like playing the game, “guess what day your order will be ready?”
Needs some work. I’ve always had an issue with the app never works perfect. Even for a while I’d just call in the order, however of course it’s easier ordering from the app. Anywho, the app won’t tell you precisely what you order so on the instances where their system is down you cannot show them your order item by item in the app or confirmation email. Even when it isn’t down and it’s simply busy or too crowded and most often than none they are missing your items and you want to show proof of what you ordered you simply can’t because it’s a vague receipt with no sauces showing nor sauce on the side any specifics really are showing. Not even in the app or receipt. Kinda odd. Even going to previous orders doesn’t show exactly what you ordered.
App no longer works. Hard to review an app that won’t let me use it. I got to use it about four times last month, and now I am locked out of it. I enter my email and password, it doesn’t recognize them. I request a password reset link, nothing gets emailed to me, spam folder or otherwise. I try and create a new account, it says my email is already in use. Crazy how difficult it is to get ahold of anyone about it and they have no one doing quality control responding to all of the similar reviews of people being locked out of their accounts. This is literally costing them money because I have gone to make orders and I can’t, and I have now given up. It’s also costing me money since I have rewards that I can’t use now. What a joke that a company this big is allowing this disaster to happen. Losing lots of customers by the day.
Needs a note feature. This app is fine although the rewards section could use some help. But where this app (and the full website) lacks is the ability to make notes or options. If you want your wings crispy? Well done? Extra wet? Forget it. The only option is to place the order then call the restaurant to let them know you did an online order and needed to make a note of one item. If your BWW is like any of the ones near we’re I live you’ll be on hold almost 10 minutes because they’re so busy they answer the phone, then place you on hold so they can handle the other calls coming in. I enjoy the convenience of placing orders online and I’m sure the staff enjoys not having to talk to someone so please bring the option to add notes or even make the options as clickable. I know the restaurants have stickers of each option so use the sticker options to limit what a person can customize so it doesn’t get too crazy.
Card Transactions won’t work / Non-existent Customer Service. This app used to work just fine, but now I can’t ever get the payment to go through, with any of my credit cards. My card works everywhere else just fine, and I have plenty of money on my debit card, and my credit card is no where close to being maxed out or anything like that. Never had a problem until about a month ago, and it hasn’t let me purchase since. I’ve emailed multiple times and tried calling to get in touch with them to get it fixed, but never even got a reply saying they were looking into it. BWW’s Customer service, in general, has never been helpful with any kind of issue with anything, ever. I’m removing the app and just cutting ties with them all together.
App stopped working altogether with last “update.”. I fairly regularly order from my local BWs and have been incredibly frustrated by the performance of the app since the last update. It continues to stay stuck on the loading screen (image of the BW logo) and will stay that way for hours on end if I allow it to do so. I’ve tried hard reset of my phone, deleting and reinstalling the app, and have finally had to settle ordering through a browser (which constantly tries to redirect me to app). It’s ridiculous that this continues to be an issue, and frankly has caused me to take my business elsewhere more often than not. I won’t even go into details about the diminishing quality and portion sizes that have become the norm in the past year or so at ALL of the locations I’ve visited. So B-dubs, please either fix this, or don’t be shocked when your customers continue to go elsewhere….
Overcharge. The app was fine before. After updating, took away the pickup option to pay in store completely, most of what I ordered that was supposedly available to order was not after I did the entire order, finally put together an order where they had everything available, and they wouldn’t take my card because the app couldn’t connect (my connection was fine). Reopened the app several times and finally was able to get one order through which reflected on the order history, and was charged three times for the same order on delivery. On top of that they force you to pay a tip (which I tip anyways additionally), but when looking at the picking up in store option when paying with card it forces you to tip anyways. At least bring back the option to pay in store to prevent this from happening. I’m in the process of getting a refund, which the location was happy to help me with since they called right after they noticed 3 orders went through that were the exact same. Had they not done that, I would be charged $120+ and wouldn’t find out until a month later since everything reflected as a single transaction within the app. This is the first time paying with my card online with the app and probably the last and will probably just call my location to place an order and pay upon pickup since the app is almost useless and stealing money at this time. Beyond ridiculous.
Awesome App. This is actually worth it! The system is great, never had an issue with the app of it crashing or missing points. Honestly it is a great app and true to its word. After I get a certain amount of points, I would hit the redeem button and get my boneless wings for free, including the celery! 100 points for each $10 you spend, I’m sure it’s great for big families who would love to eat out or eat in for a basket ball game or football game, and get that free food. No taxes or extra charges for extra sauce or celery. It’s a great app and I highly recommend if you love Bdubs and want free food! Point system is not bad, 1,100 points for a small Boneless is actually worth it instead of paying $9.99 for it. Also 1,750 points for A medium and 2,000 for a large. It’s easy to get to those points, not hard at all.
I Love Buffalo Wild Wings & App. I have ate at Buffalo Wild Wings for many years, always getting the tai curry wings and a side of salt and vinegar fries. Ranch and bleu cheese to go with as dipping sauces as well. This app makes ordering very simple and easy. So now I can easily order my tai curry with fries, bleu cheese, and ranch then can expect it to be done in 30 minutes for pickup. Sometimes the app can say the menu is not available for the location you choose to pick up your food at, so that is why I didn’t give the full 5 stars since this problem keeps you from ordering your food.
Convenience. Myself and my three other buddies are Saturday golfers no matter the weather. And at the end of the day we enjoy nothing more than spending the rest of the evening at a table with 4 pitchers of beer watching our favorite sports teams (Broncos and Buckeyes) at Buffalo Wild Wings. We are such a staple at our local B-Dubs that bartenders, waiters, waitresses, and even certain Mangers love seeing us come in. We always run into people we know in our small town Ironton, Ohio which makes the experience even better. I might add collecting reward points always helps when the check comes, especially in this economy today. App doesn’t accept my orders. I’ve had this app for a long while and it was great until here recently. Every time we use it, it never accepts our order. We even go so far as using multiple cards and never accepts. This last time we finally got it to go through for delivery and half way through waiting the dashers had to cancel the order because Buffalo Wild Wings didn’t even have the order in their system. Luckily I had an email receipt proving we did order and the transaction already being taken out of my account. But now instead of delivery we have to wait for them to make it and then go pick it up. This is all because their app messed up. Also the cards we used, we have used in the past with no issues! I don’t know what the deal is but these big dues need to be fixed. I can’t be the only one having issues.
Good and Baddd. If your one that prefers to use technology to order your food and pick up in store this is a great app for you. Personally I like to dine in which brings me to the first downfall of the app. I looked around on the app with no luck to find the group check-in that was available before the update. Instead of coming to conclusions I chose to take advantage of the option of submitting a question to inquire about the group check-in. After submitting a question it reads please allow two to three days for a response. Twelve business days later and still no response. Don’t waste your time submitting a question. Redeeming items with your points is very much so less user friendly compared to before the app update. Friends tell me they noticed their point declined after the update. Lastly it would be nice if someone showed the managers and staff how to use and navigate the app. The staff does their best to answer questions but they too are at a lose sometimes.
Decent app but room for improvement. App usually works fine, but there is room for improvement. Ability to save credit card information would be the biggest improvement. I use this app quite a bit and it’s irritating and time consuming to re-enter my CC info every time. Ability to pay with a gift card or to select option to pay at pick-up would also be a big improvement. The other thing that is frustrating about the app is the inaccuracy on pickup time. I am typically sitting at BWW waiting for my food for 15+ minutes after the app says it will be ready. Either improve the accuracy or have some sort of function that alerts you when the food is actually ready so I can utilize my time better.
They Canceled My Order. I had placed an order through the app around 7:50pm and realized the time had automatically changed to 11am pick up the next morning, which was my mistake, so I called and asked to change it to tonight. When speaking to someone on the phone they said they had changed the time for me but it would be an hour wait. I waited an hour before calling back to see if my order was ready for pick up and was told my order was never actually changed. I asked for them to change it again and they said they were no longer taking new orders. I tried telling them that I placed an order over an hour ago but they said it would now be a new order and would not be placed tonight. Not only did I not get my order, I was placed on hold over 6 times and eventually hung up on at one point. Very frustrating encounter.
Pick up timing bug. I have ordered twice off of the app to pick up an order after a work shift. Both times I place the pick up time for the order a day before that work shift so I don't forget to buy food. I choose what food I want, put it in the cart, type in the day and time I will pick up the order, and pay. BOTH TIMES after I finish paying the app tells me that my order will be ready in 30 minutes. This is not the time I specified. I've had to call the restaurant and tell them that no, I don't want my order in 30 minutes. I want my order at the time I put into the app. The workers I've talked to have been great. They fixed my pick up order in their system. Yet when I ask them if I'm doing anything wrong in the app, they don't know. This is very frustrating. I don't want to call the restaurant to fix the pick up time every time I order food from here.

Unfortunately, my experience with the app has been far from satisfactory. The main issue I encountered was the app repeatedly closing automatically while attempting to scan receipts. This technical glitch not only wasted my time but also left me unable to claim the rewards I rightfully earned. Despite multiple attempts and even reinstalling the app, the problem persisted. Additionally, the user interface of the app felt outdated and clunky, making navigation cumbersome and frustrating. It lacked the smoothness and efficiency I expect from a modern restaurant app. While I appreciate the concept of earning rewards and simplifying the ordering process through the app, the execution fell short of expectations. In the end, I found myself resorting to traditional methods of redeeming rewards, defeating the purpose of using the app altogether. I hope Buffalo Wild Wings addresses these technical issues and invests in improving the functionality and user experience of their app. Until then, I'll think twice before relying on it again for my dining needs.
Buggy and unintuitive. I’ve had a multitude of bugs with this app. One time using it, I ordered for delivery and put in all of my information, double checked everything and when I finalized the order, it had change my order to pickup and I had to drive and go get it. Tonight using it, I ordered for delivery again and the time estimate it gave me was FOUR HOURS LATER. I figured it was a weird glitch and would update later. Two hours later I called the store itself and they told me my order came in with instructions to be held until 7:30 (I ordered at 5pm). At no time did I ever change the time from “ASAP”. The app must have changed it at some point for some inexplicable reason. It’s also just not a very intuitive app. For weeks of use I had to put my contact information in every time I used it. It never saved it despite me being logged in to my account with that information listed. And it NEVER saves my cc info, requiring me to put all the info in every single time.
App is completely insecure. All over the internet I am seeing others going through this. Someone cracked an admittedly weak password on my blazin rewards and used all of my points. Support got my points back and I changed my password to a proper strong password. But I noticed that after changing my password multiple times, the phone app DOES NOT force re-login. I’ve changed my password over and over and without fail someone keeps placing orders to the same BWW under different names with my points. But they don’t use the “forgot password” method because when they use my rewards, my last password is still good. I’m sure they’ve never once been faced with my new password. This has been a problem for over a year - I see threads on Reddit with this issue that are over a year old. No update for this massive security flaw in over a year is flat out garbage .
Garbage App & Developers. I downloaded this app a few years ago, and every time I try using it, it doesn’t let me log in. Occasionally it will tell me my password is incorrect, so I go through the hoops to reset it, then it tells me “oops, something went wrong”. I’ve tried contacting the developers and BWW and they tell me to start a new account and they’ll transfer my rewards points. Well, guess what? It just keeps looping through the sign in prompt. It looks like it accepts my login, then proceeds to the app where none of my info/profile seems to be, and upon further inspection, it still has the “log in/sign up” prompt. Don’t waste your time with this app, they aren’t going to listen to you anyway. Their prices probably keep going up because they keep paying morons to run their app.

Unresolved Issue with App. I have been using this app for a while. Honestly, never had an issue. After an update was done. The app no longer recognize my password. I have reset it at least 10 times. You would think someone would give up right? I stopped to one of the restaurants to pick up my order and asked how to contact customer service. I was given an email AND a phone number to get assistance. Needless to say, the email came back unsuccessful and the phone number****TERRIBLE**** . The 1st time I was on hold for 30 minutes and my call was disconnected, the second time- I called on my day off and was on hold for 1hr and 10 min and still NO ONE answered. I ended up hanging up.
Terrible problem with a simple fix. I’ve never written a review on an app before. The BWW app has brought me to this point. Every single time I go into the app if I haven’t used it for more than an hour, I need to sign in. Many times, when I sign in it will load after and then ask me to sign in again, and do this multiple times. Why is there not an option to keep me signed into the app? There have been multiple occasions that I have been at BWW and tried to check in on the app and also use my points… to see that the app will not let me sign in because it is faulty. It may be the most frustrating small detail I’ve ever seen in an app. Unreal.
BWW app. Anyone having trouble with logging in the app or the website for BWW? I’ve been trying for months now and haven’t been able to log in. I emailed BWW support and they aren’t helpful at all . Buggy, clunky, and disappointing. I have no idea how this app has this many 5 star reviews because it is by far one of my least favorite apps to use. The point scanning functionality is terrible. “Uh oh points are on the way”and It just doesn’t register the points. Tried to order online through the app the other night and it says that the earliest pickup time is an hour away. Yet when I call the store, they tell me it can be ready in 20 minutes. Asked why the app says an hour out and their response was that sometimes it just does that. Also the layout of this app is cumbersome. It’s a shame too because BWW is one of my favorite places. App needs major improvements.
Very frustrating to use…. I feel like I have a 50/50 shot, at best, of my overall experience in the app actually going as planned. For months I wasn’t able to view any rewards, nothing would come up after repeated sign-in/sign-outs, even after deleting and redownloading the app. More recently it’s crashing anytime I try to upload a receipt. Estimated pickup times on orders is at least ten to fifteen minutes off. Even our server today apologized for how bad the app experience is. We finally returned today to eat in after not eating here for months and the issues with crashing on uploading a receipt continue. Super annoying and disappointing. I am shocked this app has such a high rating. Did I get the knock-off Temu version somehow?!?

Literally unusable. Whenever I use the app or the website while signed in I can’t checkout at all. I have a good connection and can use every other app on my device, whether I’m using wifi or 5g. I tried re-entering my card data 8 separate times and it never worked. I signed out on the website and ordered the same items and it immediately worked. This has been going on for over a year, but normally after the 3rd or 4th try it works, so I decided I didn’t care. The last 2 times I’ve ordered it hasn’t even worked to the point that I haven’t been able to earn reward points on them. I even redeemed an 800 point reward just now thinking I’d be able to ACTUALLY ORDER IT. Nope of course not, why would I expect a 5-star app to work? 🙃🙃🙃
Love the app!. It’s great, check-in for physically going into the restaurant is good. I just wish there was an option to select Caramel as a sauce or side when ordering the cheese curds or anything else. Every time I order for pickup I have to ask them in store to provide a container of caramel to dip food into. They don’t seem to mind having to go to the back to get it, but it would be easier for everyone if you could just order it when you order the food as well. But overall, the app is great.
App doesn’t apply rewards. Every so often, Buffalo wild wings will offer incentives/rewards, for example, the most recent was a reward from 11/2 to 11/7 for $5 off when you spend $25. Even though you click activate and clearly purchase more than the required spend amount, it does not get applied when checking out. This is happened on multiple occasions, not just the specific example above. Someone needs to be able to fix this in the app in order for me to give a higher star rating. The incentives should be able to be used by your customers, not deter from coming in because of IT issues or false rewards if your unable to use them as advertised.
Horrible app. In the last year, this app has became garbage. Every time I open the app it makes me log back in but 45-50 times of that I have had to reset my password after it locks me out even though I put in the correct password. Very disappointed in Buffalo Wild Wings and might even stop going to it at this point. Love 3-4 items there but the hassle is showing it’s not worth it. Also the app developers for a corporate company should make it so you can link a Apple ID or log in/ sign up with a email address and/or Facebook account. Atleast if I link my account to one of those I just press a button rather than type in correct password press I’m not a robot then press images for a security check just to be denied from my account 6 times.
Can’t Checkout. I haven’t been able to check out on your app or your website for over a year. I’ve created a new account, tried as a guest, tried different payment methods, tried other people’s apps, tried uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing my cache and cookies online, tried calling customer support, emailing, chatting, calling the store directly, and I have gotten NO answers. I’ve just been told “we know, it’s been going on for awhile” each time with no solution. It’s $5 more on each order to order with 3rd party apps like Door Dash, and that adds up really quickly. I’m incredibly frustrated and disappointed with the customer support and the fact that no one has any answers for why this isn’t working for me.
Poor User Experience. I’ve had the app for awhile and it’s been okay up until the past 30 days I’d say. Rewards aren’t working so that means know scanning your receipt. It just force closes the app. The trivia games won’t load after 4 different visits to 3 different restaurants. It just spins and spins and then I tried loading it from the play now screen and it won’t move forward. Uninstalling and reinstalling did nothing either. I emailed support and they just say it’s a known problem and that I have to use a desktop for point earning!!?? What??? Emailed 5 days ago on the trivia and still nothing. Bdubs is slacking!
Doesn’t send me an email to reset password. I have tried multiple times to sign into an account for rewards I know I made as it signed me out for some odd reason. When I go to type in my email for a way to reset my password, it doesn’t send me an email. It sends me nothing. And yes, I have checked my junk folder, still nada. Then I try to create a new account, but I can’t use my phone number because “this phone number is already in use”. App developers need to get this sorted pronto because it’s frustrating when I could be earning points but the app is not letting my reset my password or create a new password
Auto Log Out Kills This App. “For security reasons you’ve been logged out” comes up every time I go to use this app. No only is it concerning they have so many security issues, the app also will not let me log in after one failed password attempt. I got dinner through another food company’s app instead tonight (who keeps me logged in) because of this issue and will most likely do it again in the future.
Getting Rewards. The entire rewards program is a good thing, but it would be nice if the personnel at BWW would be more understanding for the customer. Teach them to hand the barcode to the customer, and not the receipt that you can’t get rewards for. It happened to me and I did not like it. Another thing that BWW can improve on is for example, my bill comes out to $29 - I only get 200 points and I can never get the 90 point for the remaining $9. So basically, BWW does not FULLY reward the customer! It also sometimes takes a while to receive the reward. Thanks.
Strange things are afoot at the CircleK. This app has its benefits and does make it super easy to check your blazing rewards and order. However, the customer support is none existent. A month ago something strange happened with my app. I received an email saying points were spent, however, I hadn’t been into the restaurant or used any points. I reached out to support with an email, and 30+ days later I still haven’t gotten a reply. I understand things can happen, but this was the first amount of blazing rewards points I earned that summed enough to purchase something. I am very displeased with the application and the customer support in general. Please be very cautious with this app and don’t count on your reward points being there.
Can’t place orders. This goes in the category of “you had one job”. Every time I try this app again to place an order I get to the very end of the order and can never submit it to the store. I try my credit card information, I try Apple Pay, and nothing seems to work. It just comes up with an “uh oh” error message. I wind up having to call the store, which is what I should just do in the first place. After queuing up the order in the app it’s really annoying to have to call and repeat everything again. This is not a one time occurrence. Buffalo wild wings is one of our favorite places and we usually order about once a week.
Fine. This app is fine. I like that the rewards app and mobile ordering app were finally combined (weird that they weren’t in one app to begin with). Ordering is easy enough. The problem is that when ordering through the this app or online, there is a 50/50 chance the order will go through wrong. I order the same exact thing every time, a chicken wrap with fries, and half the time the fries have cheese. Every time I tell them I didn’t order cheese on the fries, they tell me that’s how it came through with the web order. I don’t know how it consistently messes this up, but it does.
An update that helps. Now in the time of COVID I use this app at least once a week. Though it works there are way too many steps that can be automated. After several releases the app finally remembered who I am, my phone number and email on a reorder! That made my last order much faster and convenient than in the past. This was #3 on this list. I don’t know if the other two have been addressed but that’s a good thing - it as done for me. #1 Auto-populate the contact info screen! You have my name, phone and email. Why do I have to re-enter it every time I place an order? Most other apps I have do this. For example Potbelly Deli’s #2 Use the correct field types when I do want or have to fill in fields. Mobile OS and HTML5 based form fields can be told that you’re entering email and phone numbers. When you program that in they use virtual keyboards that support them. Email keyboard with an @. Numeric keypads for phone numbers. Come on get a clue. I personally coded that into iPhone apps a decade ago.
Completely hit or miss. They’ve packed so much into the app that it often just craps the bed when you try to use it as intended. The built in trivia system will bug out and display a blank screen every couple questions… can’t win free wings if you can’t even play the game, so maybe it’s intended to do that. Even with the remember me option the app will sign you out every couple days. The app will also routinely decline Apple Pay saying to contact the financial institution as to why the purchase was declined, if you set it to pay in store and use the same card it’s totally fine. I really like the restaurant, but this app is just complete garbage.
Terrible app privacy service. Unless it changes or gets fixed, I’m not bothering with the apps “reward” points. I don’t share contact information with anyone yet, somehow in California, and South Carolina people have been spending my points. I’ve had over 15k worth, and each time I want to use them for something, I get told “you’ve redeemed 6000” points a few days ago, you have 50 left. I try to contact, change my info, and get told I have no password but I do, can’t even close the account. So instead I get unknown freeloaders stealing from me. Either get it fixed, or keep the one star. Your foods amazing, I love the one by me, but your overall app, needs fixing. Because I doubt I’m the only person in the world whose had this happen.
New $1 takeout fee. Went to the app because of their new $10 meal that includes fries and 10 wings. Went and customized my order with that deal like I was gonna buy it (I was just looking) and when going to checkout a new fee was applied. They have stated that they must charge takeout order $1 to help run their takeout business. This is obviously another case of corporate greed and is rather unheard of for takeout orders. Why is a consumer getting charged additional fees for ordering from a restaurant in the most simplistic, straightforward way? BWW was never best when it comes to wing quality and price but this is another reason why. Disappointed to see hidden extra fees on takeout orders through the app, I also think there was some lawsuit about this.
Consistently infuriating. This app is never “unusable.” It never crashes, it always works at a base level. But holy guacamole, does it do everything consistently poorly. The rewards system barely functions, and regularly missed redeemed rewards. The app has many items listed as available on the menu, then when you go to check out, says “error, item unavailable” only for me to call the store specifically and they tell me “Yeah, we have that available. I have no idea why the app would say otherwise.” Don’t get me wrong, I love BWW. Heck, I worked there for 7 years! But every attempt at an app they have had has made me want to jump in a lake with weighted boots on.
Points is a disaster. I tried to use points for 30 wings. When I went to my location I saw that isn’t offered. The points were immediately subtracted though, so now I’m just out 3000 points that took months to earn. I tried to submit a request to have the points reinstated since I never used them but I haven’t heard back nearly weeks later. To have to redeem points before the order is bad UX and doesn’t meet the pattern of other apps. To have to request points reimbursement is an annoyance. And to not respond is rude. Overall the app is good, but this experience within the app and support is bad enough that it outweighs all the positive, which is unfortunate.
Needs work. I wanted some chicken wings, in a bad way. So I thought, Buffalo wild wings, that’s the ticket! So I download the app and when I go to sign into my account, it makes me do the CAPTCHA 20 times, only to find out my password was entered incorrectly. I tried it again and the same result. So I gave up on that and decided to go ahead and order wings. I don’t need the reward points that bad. So I finished my order and received my email confirmation that didn’t have the sauces that I had selected. I go back into the app to verify my order and it doesn’t show me what I ordered there either. Just minor annoyances to the point where I decided I’m going to write a review. Please fix this.
Problematic app. I placed an order via app. Not only did it not allow me to redeem my points and claimed there were insufficient points (there were not), there was no option to pay online. This seems strange and counterproductive before the pandemic, but amidst the pandemic, is plain stupid. I arrived an hour later, called and got a confirmation my food was ready, but the line outside stretched to the whole block, with people standing within 2 feet of one another. One of the employees said everyone who has to pay needs to go on line, which makes absolutely no sense when my order was placed an hour ago and it was ready AND I couldn’t pay online. Regardless of how good the Tuesday deal is, I’m not risking my health and wasting my time by standing on line, which defeats the purpose of ordering via app in the first place.
Rewards don’t work!. Everything on the app works great except the rewards. Order food from here frequently for my family and the points make the cost a little more tolerable. Attempted to place an order and use the rewards I earned and the app malfunctions while submitting the payment and the order gets cancelled and so do the rewards. Due to this the cost of my order doubled, I lost the points and rewards, and nearly a week later (after multiple sign offs and sign ins) the rewards still say “try again”. I’ve attempted to contact through the website and still no resolution or feedback. Please fix the rewards in the app or provide and alternative to collect and redeem.
Fix the in app delivery option!. I spent 30 minutes trying to place an order for delivery. It kept telling me there were no delivery times available for the selected store. Not to mention I had to change my order because it also told that there were no traditional wings available on BOGO wing Tuesday! I went to the DoorDash app and was able to place the order right away with no issue. Except I wanted to use the actually BWW app so that I could use my reward points for one item and do the BOGO which isn’t available on DoorDash. So what’s going on with this apps “delivery” option?! It’s also using DoorDash for delivery so I don’t get it. And why is the BOGO wings an option if it won’t let me order it once I get to checkout?! 😤
Forced Update, Now I Can’t Login. The app made me run an update. Now it thinks the normal login page is a submission to create a new account. It rejects all attempts to login with an error message indicating my email address is already in use and associated with an account, indicating I should enter a different email address to create an account (which of course makes no sense since I am trying to login to access the account under that email address, not create a new account). I am not trying to login through the create an account option (I actually tried that just to see if they swapped the script, but that didn’t work either). There isn’t a way for me to login after the latest update to the app.
I Love Buffalo Wild Wings & App. I have ate at Buffalo Wild Wings for many years, always getting the tai curry wings and a side of salt and vinegar fries. Ranch and bleu cheese to go with as dipping sauces as well. This app makes ordering very simple and easy. So now I can easily order my tai curry with fries, bleu cheese, and ranch then can expect it to be done in 30 minutes for pickup. Sometimes the app can say the menu is not available for the location you choose to pick up your food at, so that is why I didn’t give the full 5 stars since this problem keeps you from ordering your food.
Horrible waste of time. I went to the website on my mobile device and it lists promos. Start my order and go to check out and the website gives a constant “experiencing technical difficulties” error. So I tried using my computer. No promos showed on the computer. I went and downloaded the app thinking it would work. The first MAJOR issue with the app is when trying to do an order, IT SENDS YOU TO THE WEBSITE! What’s the point of the app if it redirects you to the non-functioning website? What a waste of time! The second MAJOR issue is when using my location in the app, it shows my location just fine. It then tells me “Consider Moving” because there’s no locations near me. There’s about 5 in my area and one is just across the street! What a JOKE!
broken. i love bww but this app is so broken. everything time i go to enter my password if i hit “show password” or whatever or a myriad of other actions the screen blanks and i can’t get back without force closing the app and it does this EVEY time without fail. it’s also impossible to reset my password because the email never comes, not even in my junk folder. the presentation of the app is fine but the function is terrible. i’d assume it’d work great if i could actually order anything but unfortunately it’s a bit difficult at the moment considering i cannot log in. hopefully this will be fixed at some point..!
Menu. I really wish Buffalo Wild Wings could put crimson crush on their full time menu. Everyone that I have been with and guest have been asking about it and they seem to really like this flavor! The Queen Creek store has ran out a few times now and it's crazy to think that it shouldn't have bc the area is growing and buffalo has great food. Otherwise everything is the same and there hasn't been an update to new sauces which drives guest away. Just my thought but I like buffalo and think it could use a update in the sauce category.
No rewards. It doesn’t give me my rewards points…. When I first downloaded the app and tried to purchase through it, the app didn’t work, so I ordered in the store, waitress told me to scan the receipt, it wouldn’t work. She said wait a day then try to scan it in, it didn’t work. It’s been 6 months, I ordered in the store, I scanned it all of my receipts, app said points would be uploaded tomorrow, it’s been a week now and I still have 0 points. You’re better off having no rewards program than one that doesn’t work, I feel like I’m being screwed over. Anyway, it will probably be another year before I go back and try again, it’s pretty frustrating.
Last Update Ruined It. Super buggy since the last update. Actually, the last two updates. My phone keeps putting up a “Not Connected” warning repeatedly every two seconds even though I am connected and all my others apps work. Also, the last two times I ordered online, my points from my receipt failed to show up (this was prior to the last update and my inability to log on.). UPDATE: Absolutely useless now. I can’t place orders because the app STILL says I’m not connected to a network even when I’m standing right next to my router. Used to be my favorite restaurant app. Now I might as well delete it. I can’t claim my points.
Add more teams! Like UCF. I love this app! It gives me an easy way to earn rewards and free food just for dining at my favorite restaurant- B-DUBS. The UI is perfect. Simple, straight forward, with a very clear design that allows me to navigate through the app easily. My one issue is, in your preference section you seem to be lacking on the amount of college sports teams. My favorite team is the largest university in the country with a plethora of D1 sports, yet you seem to have forgotten it.... please add the university of central Florida to make me, and all knight fans, pleased.
UI not optimized for XS Max — App features limited. The app is not optimized for my screen, leading me to not be able to click the buttons fixed to the bottom of the screen. I selected all my teams for the free points, just so I could not be able to click “done” or whatever was probably not in the view of my screen, waste of my time Then, I can accidentally use my points without a modal pop up asking me to confirm my decision?? Then you’re going to ask me to use my coupon within a certain timeframe that I didn’t even want to redeem my points on, I’m pretty upset, definitely will be sharing my experience with the community. Xcode has the ability to run the built in iOS simulator you know right? You don’t have to deploy your app without testing!
Rewards never work. Every time I’m at BWW, I scan my receipt only to receive 0 points. I haven’t actually earned points for anything for the last 2 months. Even if I write my phone number on my receipt for my server to enter, they rarely ever enter the rewards manually. The rewards system is actually nice since it lets you pick what you want to redeem, but it doesn’t matter since it never actually works. Not to mention I’ve also had several problems with ordering take out in the past, sometime the app just won’t let you check out. It’s like they don’t even want your money. If you’re getting this app for rewards or mobile ordering, don’t bother. It’s only good for trivia.
App not working as intended. Scanning receipt for points not working. Last weekend went to BWW. Scanned receipt, app said rewards were on the way, but when I logged in yesterday rewards were not added. Also, supposed to get points for playing trivia, did not receive those either. Ate at BWW yesterday & when I got my bill, I told the waitstaff about not receiving points from the week before. Bartender stated the scanning of receipts hasn’t worked for a long time. You have to give the waitstaff your phone number to manually add in. Please fix app to be able to scan receipts & also receive points for the trivia. Disappointing for a popular chain that clearly makes enough money to fix this issue.
Used to be a great experience. This used to be a great program. Since the updates recently, it is totally useless. Check in works but when I try to scan my receipt, it tells me it cannot find my check. That used to be an issue and I would just wait until the next day and scan and it would add my points. Now, I don’t have the option to scan the receipt the next day. I give my number to the server and either that doesn’t work at my local BWW or they just don’t put it in. So I have no way to earn points for the less valuable rewards they now offer. I’ve reached out through the app but *shocker*, they don’t reply. If your BWW will add your number or scanning the receipt works, you are good. I wonder how many BWW have this issue because it’s made my local joint worthless for loyalty.
Security Concerns with Buffalo Wild Wings App. Rating: 2/5 I recently had a very concerning experience with the Buffalo Wild Wings app. While the pickup order process itself was smooth, I encountered a concerning issue. After placing the order, it was picked up by a stranger who claimed they had the order displayed on their app. This raised questions about the security of the app. I'm the only one with access to my app logins, so how could this happen? It leaves me wondering if my credentials are being shared without my permission or if there's a potential security breach. This incident has left me hesitant to use the app again until these concerns are addressed.
Mixed reviews. There are some parts of the app that are awesome like the fact that the rewards and the ordering are in the same app now. But it gives an error message when you try to redeem a reward that says uh oh and also when I am trying to complete my order. I have figured out that when I am trying to complete my order it does that because I have an item in the cart that the restaurant is out of and I have to keep tweaking my order until I figure it out and it goes through. I had to get on my desktop computer to redeem my reward as that was the only way it would work. Some work really needs to be done on this app.
Good app. I generally love this app and find it easy to It use. The points program for free food is quite generous. You even get points for playing and winning trivia. My one issue is with the trivia. It’s sometimes glitchy and the answers are sometimes wrong. Ottawa is not the capital of Ontario yet according to the trivia it is. There are also times where the same answer is on the list twice. Which one do you pick? Only one counts as correct. I also found minor things will reject fill in the blank answers. Mt Vesuvius versus Mount Vesuvius. Neither should be wrong yet the second one is. Some fine tuning is all that’s necessary.
Requires you to enable marketing emails to make account. The app seems decent and responsive overall with no bugs or anything! The only thing I have an issue with is while making an account, it WILL NOT let you sign up without also checking the “Yes! I want marketing emails sent to me!” box. What’s the point of adding a checkbox if it’s not a dang option? That pisses me off way more than just including a disclaimer saying “by signing up, you agree to blah blah blah”. Don’t make it look like a choice when it’s not. Whoever made that decision deserves a kick in the pants just for that stunt. Other than that, pleasant experience!
5 Stars for Service 3 Stars for App. As a regular to Buffalo wild wings, I enjoy and appreciate the blazing rewards system. However, I have attempted to use it multiple times and the app never goes through to the restaurant that I attend regularly. Fortunately though they were able to find a way around that by getting the manager to approve of it. Ultimately it would just be much easier if they improved whatever needs to be improved so that the app is fully connected to all restaurants.
Forced to use half built app. I used to order via UBer Eats or Door Dash. BW3s Corporate decided that you don’t get discounts (or bogo offers) unless you use their app. Their app: can never remember the last location I ordered from. I always get an “Uh-oh this store is no longer available” error message. I have to go deselect my store EVERYTIME. They offer ZERO order tracking. You cannot go into order history and view your order. You can only “reorder”. I need an order tracker. My current order is over 1 hour late. I called the store and they tell me my order has gone out the door. Can’t tell me where it is, or when it will be delivered. This is because they use door dash. I get it, everybody wants to have their own app but if you can’t deliver on features that are necessary for online ordering to work, then don’t force people to use your app! If YOU use door dash to deliver my order, why can’t I use door dash to order it?!? (Yes I know I can but in order to get the discount everyone else gets, they FORCE you to order through their app) Change your policy or produce a functional app.
Never works.. Every time I try to place an online order through the handy dandy app at the Westland Michigan location it will not allow me to pay so I can submit the order. Then I found out that they have the ability to turn online ordering off when they feel like it. This is asinine. Why have an app if you’re only going to use it when it’s convenient for you? I would prefer the app because there’s less risk of messing the order up. Waste of time. I add everything to the card. Use my points to cover some things and then waste my time trying several different cards thinking it was a glitch on my end when it reality it’s the crappy location.
App & rewards program is dysfunctional. Made an online order for my wife and three kids and redeemed some of my blazin rewards. To use the rewards it had me choose what item I wanted to pick from and then it said it would be visible at checkout. Completed checkout payment & it did not show my reward item but showed it was redeemed. Completed purchase & then called the B-dubs to confirm. Had to be directed to the Mgr. told to replace order, which worked, but at the final stage of order on the app it said Uh-oh server error occurred!!! So had to call back, lucky the Mgr. was willing to fix the issue. But app forced me to place my order THREE TIMES!!! Appreciate the rewards program but app needs to be fixed to want me to place an order in the future
FIX THE APP. I want to start off by saying that I LOVE Buffalo Wild Wings. Honestly one of my favorite foods ever. But the amount of times I decide to eat elsewhere because of how UNUSABLE the app is, is insane. I sign in, it tells me I need to update my phone number. What do you mean?? My phone number hasn’t changed. It literally would not let me continue until I updated my phone number to a different number that I don’t have. This isn’t the first problem I’ve had though. I genuinely can’t remember a time I’ve used this app where I haven’t had some issue signing it because it needs to verify something, or just doesn’t let me sign in at all. I’ve been having issues with this app for YEARS. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS I JUST WANT WINGS THANK YOU.
Wings are great, app needs an additional option. I’ve always loved BWW and it’s Wild sauce! Always get the traditional wings, extra crispy, extra wet. You used to be able to order them like that through the app as well but seems like that option dropped at some point. Is there a way to add the option to have the wings extra crispy and/or extra wet? It’ll really save the trouble of ordering through the app and then having to call the store to get them to add that to your order (always have to do this if I want my wings delivered to me).
