Texas Roadhouse Gift Cards Are a Joke. I saw a review from January about not being able to split payment from a balance on a gift card and paying the remainder with a credit card. It is now the end of April and Texas Roadhouse has not fixed the problem. If you plan to order food via the app, do not buy gift cards…do not gift anyone a gift card because they will feel frustrated with the experience. Texas Roadhouse needs to address this issue immediately. It has been months since they were first made aware of this problem and Texas Roadhouse has done nothing to remedy the problem

Faulty App. I am not sure why the old app made a mandatory change but it is not for the better. I normally get Texas Roadhouse at least once a week but because of this app, I have been going elsewhere because it is frustrating. Although I saved my profile and information attached to it, it would not let me log in and even after double checking the accuracy of my information, I still cannot place an order.. on this new app, all I can do is locate a local Texas Roadhouse restaurant and the time I want to pick something up but it doesn’t allow me to access to the menu to order and with this malfunction that is called an app, I will not allow access to my debit card. Texas Roadhouse, please fix this app or find a way to back to the old app..Remember, updating apps isn’t always a great idea. If something is not broken, it shouldn’t be fixed.

Can’t log in. I got the app because I was going to order pickup and in case there were rewards attached I wanted to set up an account. I tried several times to set up the account on the app but it would boot me out to the beginning. I ended up setting up my account online on my computer and ordering there. I then tried logging on using the app and it keeps booting me to the “log in or order as guest” page, so there’s a glitch on the iOS app. Looking forward to my order, but your app does me no good (for order history and benefits) if I can’t log in. Thanks!

Pickup to go. Although they are timely in bringing order to your veh, the past sev times I have been they have left items out of the bag! So annoying! This is not just one small bag, I buy for a family of 4 every time. So normally 3 or more bags of food. Over $100 every time. It would take way too long to sort it all double-checking it in my veh. I live too far away to just swing back by & retrieve my forgotten items! I’ve never called to complain or ask for freebies but hopefully they’ll read this & do better!! As customers we all want EVERY item we pay for, that’s all !!

My favorite GF steakhouse!. I’m gluten free snd really sensitive. I’ve never had a problem here in Houston nor in other states. They make my steak plain with butter and salt. My salad without croutons and I also love to get the loaded sweet potato or green remand all of which taste awesome and I never have a flair up! The order comes with rolls and cinnamon butter which I give my kids to eat. We don’t eat inside as my kid has a peanut allergy and there ARE peanuts at every tables and everywhere. So we always get it To-Go. Been eating here about 12 years if not more. Love the staff too. Quality service.

Bad customer service. I placed a online order. In the Special request section I added a note in under 20 characters. I requested “jalapeños on the side” When I picked up my order, there were no jalapeños so I asked for them. The lady said she did not see it on my order. I told her I placed it on the special request section. She stated that she would have to charge me because it was not on my order. I told her I didn’t mind being charged, but it was on my order. She started arguing with me that it was not. I showed her the order ticket on my bag and it showed the note about adding jalapeños. She continued to be argumentative and rude so I said never mind and I left. I could not believe I was treated so rudely about jalapeños. If the special request is going to be ignored, why add the option to the order?

Doesn’t even make top 25. Of the dozens of restaurant apps we use this doesn’t even make the list of ones I cringe at the thought of using. We order takeout from Texas Roadhouse less and less just because it’s become such an unpleasant experience. You can’t call to order. There’s no good way to order online. Other restaurants have stepped up their takeout ordering processes during this crisis and Texas Roadhouse has done the exact opposite? Seriously? Every time we place an order there’s some glitch and end up having to call the restaurant and wait to talk to someone to fix the problem or answer a question. How hard can it be to do what other restaurants do easily: look at a menu to see if there’s anything of interest; see prices; select items; see when it might be ready; place order if it seems reasonable. Has anyone from the company even ever tried to place a takeout order? After today we probably won’t order again.

App was better before. I don’t know why y’all had to change this app so much, I liked it way better before, it had my debit card saved in it and was easy to use, now since I had to completely reset my account for some stupid reason after updating I don’t have my card saved in it anymore and there’s no option to just add a payment method and says I have to order something to add it but I never use it that way, I like to use it to pay my bill after a meal because I eat at the bar and it makes it easier to just pay on the app because the bartender is always very busy, but now I have to re-enter my card info ever freaking time I pay so it’s just an inconvenience now. Why couldn’t y’all just leave good enough alone??

Keep getting kicked out. Every time I try to pay for my to go order I keep getting kicked out of the app and have to go back in and replace the order and as soon as I try to go pay again I keep getting kicked out. I’ve been trying for over 45 to place my order and get nowhere due to being kicked from the payment screen back to the Home Screen and logged out of my account. Tried doing my order as a guest and again once I got to the payment screen I got kicked. I love Texas Roadhouse and don’t get to eat there often but I’m trying to order and can’t even place my order online through the app or website. It’s frustrating. Please fix and I’ll change my rating

New app is horrible. My information was deleted from the new app and it forced me to create a new account. Once you create a new account, won’t save any of the information that you enter in when you create a new account (fave restaurant, favorite order, email address, Apple ID info). I lost a free app that was added to my account. I spent at least 45 minutes trying to figure out the app just to order online. After my order was submitted it isn’t giving me a status update or any instructions for curbside pick up. This update a new app is horrible! I can tell you this will definitely discourage me from ordering from Texas roadhouse until it’s fixed. It was a hassle.

App sent order to different state—still waiting for refund. After using the app successfully numerous times, I had the misfortune of having it send my order to a completely different state. I was charged for the order and did not realize what happened until waiting to pick up my order at our local Texas Roadhouse. The restaurant actually helped figure out the issue. I had to place a new order and pay again as the refund needed to come from the restaurant that received the order and payment. I called the other restaurant to cancel the order, but no one there knew how to refund my money. They told me to expect a call from the one person who knew how to do this the next day. I waited and called again during the hours they said the person would be there with no luck. I have called repeatedly and have been told I would get a call back, but I still haven’t heard from them or received a refund. I want my money back. This is ridiculous. I would appreciate someone contacting me about this issue.

Would not check out! Got blank after tap “place an order”. The menu was great, really easy and intuitive to choose the menu and options. However, when I added all the orders and tapped the check out button, it went to blank screen with grey button “place an order” that was not tappable. Always had to go to the place to order in-person. We have wasted 15 minutes every time I tried to order through this app.

Where’s the 2nd side?. I’ve called in many orders to your restaurant without problems.. since now we have to order online, I enter one side with a steak and then enter the second and by the time it takes to click on check out, one of the sides is gone. To get two sides, I end up paying for one of them. Staff doesn’t answer phone calls, so there’s nobody to question about this.. funny how every nickname is taken too so it’s hard to submit this

Not happy. The food is always amazing, but last time I went there to eat I called to make sure I could get a table and when I got there I sent the txt saying I was there and it told me to wait in my car n they would come get me when my table was ready 20 minutes went by n no one ever came we went inside sat across from the host stand n no one ever came out finally I stepped into the dining room only to be told they were closed. Even after I told them I had been sitting there waiting for my table the manager just said that was unfortunate!

Gift card use. If you have a gift card that doesn’t cover the entire amount of the check, it’s really frustrating to place an online order. Last week I tried to order from the app several times, get to the checkout and enter the gift card and it kicks you out. I repeated this 4 times. I then just went to the website hoping for different results, but same thing. If the gift card does not cover, it kicks you back to the beginning and your cart is empty. I actually gave up trying to order. I tried tonight with a smaller order that the gift card covers and it worked fine. The problem is that when you only have a few bucks left on the gift card, it is impossible to use with an online order. Thanks

Exceptional food/ experience. My wife has multiple sclerosis, so we tend not to eat in the restaurant a lot which leaves us with curbside pick up. The staff that come out to greet. You are very friendly and courteous and within just a few minutes your food is brought straight out to your car. I live in Youngsville, so by the time I get home, you would think that the food would be cold, but it’s not. It is always delicious, well cooked and well presented. One of my favorite restaurants in Wake Forest.

UPDATE. I want to report the app is working great! A recent update must have fixed the problem we were having. We’ve been ordering without a problem! Thank you!! I have yet to be able to place an order on this app. No matter what we try to order we get a crazy notice about bread and some kind of sauce. We called in our order a few times, updated our app but it NEVER works! Now we just order on the Longhorn app - it ALWAYS works!

Good App, but….. Nice app for placing to go orders, but…. Does not work correctly for joining the waitlist. It will allow me to join waitlist, but will NOT notify me, or update me via email or text for when it’s time to come into the restaurant. Very frustrating when the hostess claims she pages us every time, but we never receive notification. Usually ends up in us waiting longer for a table, and when you put in a reservation 1 hour prior, an extra 15 mins of waiting is very disappointing.

Love this place. I know it’s suppose to be 1 out of 5 stars but this I give a 10…the restaurant is clean, employees are quick and very pleasant. The food is outstanding and reasonably priced Absolutely, love this place. And as far as online goes…I give it another 10…super easy to navigate around…really easy to order from and they notify you when your order is ready….I highly recommend this place…great value for price😁

Has a few Ui and usability issues but works ok. Couple of nuts: 1. Does not trigger password managers (input fields for userid/password are not tagged correctly to trigger auto fill correctly). This is a serious usability problem for good security- choosing long unique passwords for every website is necessary hygiene for the modern Internet. This also happens on their desktop website so I suspect fixing that will fix both. 2. No direct PayPal or Apple Pay support. Seriously folks, this is 2022 - unless you have a stripe reader, doing manual entry of CC info is baroque and user unfriendly. Acceptance of mobile payment is still not universal in all TR restaurants, so buyer beware. It’s pretty nice to get on the waiting list early, but the above 2 items are major issues with this app. Not overwhelming, but obvious improvements are necessary.

Delightful Steaks. Regardless of location, can always count on the consistency of being served a good quality, flavorful steak cooked to your liking. An excellent value for the price. The salads and sides are fresh and the rolls brought to the table are yummy. Just don’t eat too many! Cannot comment on deserts as the meal is always more than enough. Service has always been good and staff friendly. Can be a bit noisy, not recommended for a romantic dinner date.

Great restaurant, absolute garbage app.. There is only one location in St George Utah. The restaurant is great and the staff is amazing. The app however is another story. Whoever is in charge of the integration between this location and the app should try to use it. First you couldn’t even order to go. Then To go check in doesn’t work, seat ahead check in doesn’t work. Multiple times I have waited well beyond the advertised time and tried to check in multiple times through text. It never works and the staff and me just get frustrated. It’s 2021 and every other chain has really stepped up their app and remote check in process. The developers for this app should get with it or figure out the issue with that location. Supposedly it has been put up the chain to corporate from the restaurant with no resolution.

Almost perfect. Not a specific gripe about the app, but about the policy of some local franchises in Northeastern Florida. None of the restaurants allow the use of a delivery service, which doesn’t make sense, when to go orders are available. I was told it was the philosophy of the brand. I’m not sure if I was lied to by my local restaurant franchise owner or if really is a company wide philosophy, but not allowing delivery cuts down on tons of business and in inconvenient. I know I would definitely order more if delivery was available, so I wouldn’t have to leave my party and/or family to wait in a parking lot.

Delicious!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. if you are reading this, please take my review serious because this is the best Texas Roadhouse I’ve ever eaten it. We arrived in Hot Springs Arkansas on yesterday which was a Monday. We got two steak meals and it was the best steak we have ever eaten. Today is Tuesday and I simply could not pass the place up so I got the chicken fried chicken, which was absolutely amazing. Toward the evening when it was time for dinner of course everybody wanted Texas roadhouse again because it was so good. I decided to get the ribs this time in my husband got the 24 ounce ribeye. It was amazing This place deserves to be featured on, one of the best places to eat in Hot Springs, Arkansas!

Good but Side Option Problem. Generally, this is a great app. I’ve used it many times, and the only problem I’ve found is that salads are not listed in the first forced side order. If you want two salads as your sides, you cannot do it. I’ve tried adding that in the special instructions, and that didn’t work either. The first list forces you to choose no side, then call the store to let them know you want two salads. You might as well just call instead of using the app IF you want two salads as your sides. I hope they will make both lists include the salads and make their special instructions work in the app. Calling puts you on hold forever, which defeats the purpose of online ordering.

Why did you delete my review. Y’all deleted my review. Shame shame shame!! I got a notification saying that I received a response here, but there is no response, you guys completely deleted my review. I ordered my food through this app last week. I was told to sit in the car until my order was ready & that id get a text when it was. Since an hour had went by and still no text, I decided to call the restaurant asking what was up with my food. They told me that it had already been ready for 30 minutes. You clearly didn’t tell me. But funny thing is I did finally get that text telling me my food was ready, it came through in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. Obviously by that time the restaurant was already closed.

New Account?. I downloaded The Texas Roadhouse app a few weeks ago to use call ahead seating and again the same week to order online for pick up. It worked Great 2 weeks ago! Last week I went to use the app and it didn’t let me log in....I was sure I was using the correct info to log in because it worked the week before. Even deleted the old app and reinstalled it from the App Store and it still did not allow me to log in. The new app that I downloaded made me create a new profile all over again! My favorites were missing along with the coupon for a free appetizer on this new app. I tried to use the app today to order online and it will not let me! I have wasted over an hour trying to figure it out but no luck! I use apps for convenience but this one was too frustrating to use. Sorry you lost my business again today because your food is delicious!

Great restaurant - terrible app.. I’ve used the Join the Waitlist feature in the app the last three times I’ve gone to the restaurant and every time, I don’t get notified when our table is ready. This latest time, I joined the wait list @ 5:33pm and was quoted a 25-35 minute wait. Got to the restaurant at 5:55pm, checked in with the host, gave him my cell number and had him read it back to me due to all the problems I’ve had. Host tells me it’ll be another 10-20 minutes for a table. We wait 30 minutes until I finally go check on our table. The host tells me they’ve been texting me for 20 minutes. I received no text messages, just like the other 2 times before. Host tells me not to use the app as it doesn’t always work. I also speak to the owner/manager about the problem. He also tells me to not use the app. And yes, I checked my phone. I don’t have any text messages being blocked.

No rolls, Never text to say order is ready. Out Roadhouse rarely texts to say the order is ready in take out orders. It’s always “sorry your order is not ready yet” even though it is. The people inside don’t care and say it is not their fault. They should have to show you what is in your order. They make it feel like you’re taking up their time if you go through it. Hence, no rolls in our order today-the main reason we go there.

Take out order was not complete. Just ordered a bone in ribeye, sautéed mushrooms and extra rolls. After waiting 15 minutes past my pick up time (3.30) which is when they open for dinner . I saw them turn away several guests who must have arrived 10 minutes early. My order. No sautéed mushrooms, and had to throw away the rolls. Ellie May Clampett may have been proud of them, but I had no need of shoe repair or shingles. Needless to say, this is the last time I will order anything from Texas Road House. There are too many fine steak houses in my area.

Easy peasy ordering!. Sitting out in front of the Texas Roadhouse, listening to the happy chatter as people wait to get into the restaurant. It’s nice and cozy in my car and I can order what I want and wait a little bit, pay for it with a gift card given to me by a dear friend and shuttle off to enjoy my meal in the quiet of my home. Thanks so much for Texas roadhouse’s consistently wonderful food and cheery atmosphere as well as getting modernized by letting me order through an app on my phone, so easy peasy, I love it! Highly recommend to any of you that don’t want to brave the restaurant scene:) A+++

Does not disappoint. We’ve been ordering from Texas Roadhouse almost weekly since the pandemic forced us out of the restaurant and into our home. The to-go app works very well now. A few bugs at the beginning, but all takeout was an adventure until they figured it out. Our location in Hilliard has a separate portable structure next to the restaurant that customers can roll right up to and collect their order. It works great! Brilliant! Steaks cooked to order. You will not be disappointed.

We went yesterday for the first time ... We were so impressed, I think we’re going back today. Both the service and the food were perfecto! My husband is a Veteran and they even discount your check for that. Also a private family bathroom which is important when your spouse is in a wheelchair and needs your help. It couldn’t have been a better experience.. A+++++

Gift card. Gift cards do not work on the app. If you want to use a gift card for a to go order I suggest you save yourself some time and a major headache and just go in person. I placed an order 5 times and it cleared my cart and kicked me out when I tried to use a gift card. Also I tried to call in and order in person hoping someone would be able to accept my gift card and the automated system told me to download the app or order online essentially kicking me back to square one. Honestly one of the most frustrating food ordering experiences of my life. Lesson learned, do not gift Texas Roadhouse gift cards! Thanks!

Excellent food with great service. Always pleased with their service. Whether ordering on their app or going to sit down in the restaurant for dinner, we have never been disappointed. Fantastic staff. Always friendly. Food is excellent. We just placed an order on their app. Took all of 5 minutes. Super easy and user friendly. Thanks Roadhouse for feeding me and my family tonight for my Birthday. I get to sit in my PJs at home with my most favorite people in the world enjoying a tasty meal I did not cook.

One of the Easiest and Best Food Order Apps. Besides the fact the food is always delicious and hot, the app is easy to navigate. It’s as good as ordering on the telephone or directly from a waiter in the restaurant. Once you start choosing your good, the app starts asking questions and all you have to do is press the button. No guessing about sides or how many sides come with the meal, no questions about cost of items, there is always a section after each meal for those “extra” items (extra dressing, extra sour cream) and a section to remove items like parsley (my personal herb enemy), lemon wedge, no butter…I never have to put anything in the comment area. This is definitely the best food order app. The employees are always professional and pleasant.

Great App. This is real handy and I use it all the time-It’s too easy as I’m eating here about once a week———-one problem though-they seem to turn it off on busy nights-also they make me call to get it brought out to my car after I check curbside on the online order-I’m on Oxygen 24/7 and it’s easier to bring it to me-it’s also cold in Buffalo NY-thanks for your response though

Back again. I got the app when Covid first started, that experience did not go so well . They told us to park in the designated parking spot and call the number which I did. My order was not ready when they said it would be. 15 min later. I get a text that it was ready. They did not say you had to go to the window and pick it up. I waited about 15 min in my car then asked inside where my order was. Was directed to a window outside. Then I got my order and my mistake I did not check it. I did not realize that my order of a dozen rolls was not there. I was all ready back at work so I called the restaurant. The person that answered had me give my email to her and said she would email me a coupon for a dozen rolls I could use on my next visit. I never received the coupon. That is when I deleted the app. I have not been back since. So we will see if things has changed and I receive better service.

Waitlist is a Sham. So I downloaded this for the joining waitlist feature. Sounded fantastic! Our Texas Roadhouse is constantly packed and with ours having a 2 hour wait last Friday, we decided to try back today (the following Friday). We sat and had a glass of wine at a favorite spot and I put us on the waitlist. It said an hour and to come check in at 6:30. We rolled up and checked in at 6:25. I was not told that there was a waitlist once you got here. It is 7 o’clock and there are still 6 people ahead of us in line. What’s the point in even having a waitlist function if you’ve gotta wait 35+ minutes once you get here?! Stupid.

App cannot be the only answer. We tried ordering four separate times on the app. Very easy to use but at checkout it was giving an error. Confirm payment method but still got error. Disappointing part is I understand sometimes apps have technical issues. But when I tried calling the restaurant I was automatically sent to a message telling me to order on the app. When I selected the option last option on the phone to speak to someone I ended up with the phone ringing ten to fifteen times the back to the beginning message. This happened twice before I finally just drove to the restaurant to place my carry-out order.

Best Location Overall. Been to many Texas Roadhouse restaurants throughout the country and this location is by far the best overall. The food is always prepared the same, which is excellent, and the service is just as awesome. Only suggestions: add more seating, and never run out of anything on the menu. (It’s only happened twice but 2 times was enough)

Improved. This app has improved over the times I’ve used it. My wife and I like to split a large steak and get 2 salads as our 2 included sides. There used to be no way you could order 2 salads as your 2 sides, because you had to order both sides at once from a list that only had salad once. But now you choose each side from a separate list. They also give you a choice to order extra salad dressing, which I really like because their salads are big!

Perfect for the Picky Orderer. I love this app and they make it easy order and also easy to remove ingredients you don’t want. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is I wish there was an area with more than 20 characters to say if you wanted regular butter (not a fan of the cinnamon butter) and garlic butter, that’s offered as a topping but not on the toppers list to check. I add this every time but it’s almost never included in my order.

Easy to customize. I just placed my first order through the app, and I appreciate how easy it was to place an order and do small customizations like take butter off of potato. Good first experience. Choosing earliest available pickup time ensures you don’t get to the end of your order only for it to tell you the order time you selected is no longer available.

Anniversary Dinner. We have our Anniversary and Birthdays order to go. We enjoy Roadhouse. We use to able to pay cash only when we would order on line, unable to do it anymore very sad. I tried to call in order thinking maybe they can take my order and when I come to pick it up pay cash. But was told orders to go HAS to be a credit card 😢. No more paying cash. I guess we will look for another place for our business. Makes are hearts sad. We have never gone anywhere else for our special occasion. Now we will have to.

Great App But……. I love the app definitely gets the job done I just wish there was an option to rate your order after you’ve eaten it unless I’m missing it??! You also should be able to use the app to tell the restaurant that you’ve arrived, what spot your in, and the description of the vehicle like other apps not through text messages directly through the app. Other than that nothing else and with those cons I really wanted to rate it 3.5⭐️’s but I gave it a barely making it 4! Fix this and I’ll will be back to give you the 5⭐️’s I know you can be!!!!

The app works as well as the service!. Living close to a Texas Roadhouse is a real treasure, especially for a single guy. Great menu and reasonable pieces. But even more than that, the app has worked smoothly and efficiently achieved and every time. Of course none of any of his would matter if the service and food didn’t match up. I am happy to say that my order is always ready on time and delivered to my car hot and fresh. My go-to kitchen.

App AND Website useless!. For years I’ve ordered online and it was super easy! Today I couldn’t get past the time choice pop up (ASAP or later) because there was no “continue” button. None. Got the app instead and when choosing a Sweet Potato, toppings are REQUIRED. Can’t order 2...or none?! Took screenshots to show you, but don’t see how to include. When I tried to “Add To Cart” I got this message: VALIDATION Please select between 1 and 3 options for Sweet Potato Toppings. I tried 1, 2, and 3. None worked, so I couldn’t add to the cart. In this day and age, ridiculous to have such a primitive app. Beyond frustrated with the time wasted and now unable to pay safely with less contact.🙄

Apple Pay?. Why does the app say it takes Apple Pay and then when you go to Che out it wants you to type your credit card in with no option for Apple Pay? I will not give 1000 different apps my card numbers. Am I the only one who knows how often this information is hacked from countless different sources? If I use Apple Pay then only Apple has it. If I type it in and it’s processed through your app then you will have to transfer my actually card number. With Apple Pay you’d make more money. Why not just include it and give your customers piece of mind?

Worst experience possible. I’m forced to order via technology when I call the to go order phone number. NO HUMAN on other end. I’m told I can download the app OR receive a text to link me to order. I choose text-TWICE-nothing... So I reluctantly go to App Store to download- go through the whole tedious order- TRY to set up account- restaurant receives my order - I know this because I receive text saying so. Text tells me to text back HERE when I’m at the to go pick up. I respond- text won’t go through. GOOD GRIEF- I’ve been sitting in the parking lot pick up location THIS WHOLE TIME just trying to save us getting out of the car. All of this leaves a very bad taste in our mouths (pun) concerning doing business with Texas Roadhouse. I still am not able to set up account... We detest going in to sit for a meal because of the ridiculous sing/dance routine the wait staff is forced to do. Makes me just want to hang my head for them/ it is SO embarrassing. Food is decent but this whole order / app / phone failure is just absurd.

Order off app for take away. I have always had a positive experience using the app for take away. I like that they text you when the food is ready so you can wait in the car. Over all I have had very smooth and easy transactions.

1st try. We’ll see how this goes when I get there. Turns out everything worked out perfectly. In fact I got extra chili out of it because they were out of “to go“ bowls so they gave me 2 cups. I love little wins like that. I wasn’t worried about the food, it’s always good. I was just concerned about the logistics. I must say good job people.

Birthday Celebrations at Home. We always use the Texas Roadhouse app for family birthday dinners so we can enjoy a great meal and still spend time together as a family. It is ALWAYS amazing good food and so easy to order with a convenient pick up separate from the restaurant entrance. Never have we been disappointed. Texas Roadhouse is our families go to for celebrations. ❤️

Unable to log in after update. I’ve been using the app frequently for quite a while now without issues. After the latest update, the app no longer recognizes my account and am unable to log in. It doesn’t recognize the email address associated with the account so the “reset password” function doesn’t work either. What to do?

App Logs Out Before Completing Order. After installing the app, creating an account, and adding everything to my order, I check out to pay and am logged out of the app when I try to enter my gift cards. When I log in again, the order is gone. I create the entire order again, and when I attempt to add the gift card, I’m logged out of the app again, and once again when I log in, my order is gone. I had to log in the website to complete my order, which handled the gift cards just fine. Love the restaurant, super frustrated by the app.

App AND Website useless!. For years I’ve ordered online and it was super easy! Today I couldn’t get past the time choice pop up (ASAP or later) because there was no “continue” button. None. Got the app instead and when choosing a Sweet Potato, toppings are REQUIRED. Can’t order 2...or none?! Took screenshots to show you, but don’t see how to include. When I tried to “Add To Cart” I got this message: VALIDATION Please select between 1 and 3 options for Sweet Potato Toppings. I tried 1, 2, and 3. None worked, so I couldn’t add to the cart. In this day and age, ridiculous to have such a primitive app. Beyond frustrated with the time wasted and now unable to pay safely with less contact.🙄

Ruined my birthday. Accusing my daughter of dining and dashing when they complained to another manager about their meals and the lady offered compensation and I was present when that happened and he comes running out confronting and yelling in my child’s face and used the term “YOU PEOPLE DO THIS ALL THE TIME” which is very offensive and low key racist! The female employee should’ve relayed that to the server and anybody involved that they were not satisfied and tell them it would be taken care of PROFESSIONALLY not the ignorant behavior displayed had my daughter hurt and embarrassed I swear I’ll never pay a dime at this unprofessional establishment again!

Doesn’t work on Apple Products. I downloaded the app easily enough to my phone and tried for 20 minutes to place and order but it kept asking me to sign in over and over again and wouldn’t ever let me check out and place the order. I tried to order online on my MacBook Pro and had the same issue…the order would never go through. I finally had to get on our son’s windows based laptop to place the order and it worked. I wasted nearly 45 minutes just trying to place an order.

Terrible wait for pickup. Waited over 30 minutes after arriving. Received a text saying your order is ready and wait in your car. Saw 4 other cars that arrived after me get their food. Had to go ask someone what happened. It was sitting there waiting for me. No apology, no nothing. Terrible service.

Thanks for the improvements. Thank you for the improvements to the apps. Ordering additional items or requesting something is removed is much easier. I would like to request one more item be added... “blackened”. In the restaurant I can request blackened pork chops and if I call I can also request blackened pork chops. It would be nice to be able to click blackened as an option.

Unable to pay on the app. After dining I received my bill and tried to pay on the app. I entered all the required information, name , credit card information, etc. but there was no transmit or send button. I deleted the app and downloaded again but still did not work. Tried it on my iPhone 12 and my wife’s iPhone 11. I used the app before with no problem. Didn’t work the past two months. Other app features still work.

gift cards. App will not allow me to pay with gift cards even though there is a place to enter gift cards. Have had this problem before. Need to call the restaurant instead of using app which takes much longer. Took me 15 min on hold just to speak to someone.

Easy & fast Online Ordering. I like the use of this app for basic, quick & easy online ordering. I would like this app more, if I were able to earn points towards a meal or an appetizer on every order placed online. Then this app would be an excellent experience! Texas Roadhouse should add a suggestion section to the app!!

Doesn’t register my phone number. I have joined the waitlist multiple times hoping they fixed it but it still doesn't give me any notifications or anything. Think it might be that my phone number is from Puerto Rico(still not an excuse; service is still AT&T, it is a US territory and last I heard there is a Texas roadhouse planned to open this year of 2023 over there) If I ever actually get a notification after joining the waitlist on my phone or just get the option to have the notification be via email if the phone # doesn’t work that would be nice.

Works well. It seems they’re still updating the app with little UI corrections but I think they have a bit more to go. There’s too much back-and-forth clicking. Hopefully they continue to refine the UI. Also little things like asking for extra gravy are not in the app. Of course I can ask for that when I pick up my to go order but it would be nice if everything was here.

Best Location Overall. Been to many Texas Roadhouse restaurants throughout the country and this location is by far the best overall. The food is always prepared the same, which is excellent, and the service is just as awesome. Only suggestions: add more seating, and never run out of anything on the menu. (It’s only happened twice but 2 times was enough)

Crispy, Buttery, Cinnamoney Goodness. You read that right, and I’m not talking bout their rolls—although those are excellent to—no! I’m talking bout their excellent cellular application. From the curbside to the pickup, this app offers everything you need under a sleek, modern appearance. Additionally, I found the menu display to be very visually stimulating. All in all, I’d give this app at least 4 stars.

Because it’s that good…. I get curbside to go at once a week if not more. It’s too convenient, its delicious, you totally get your monies worth, the order is always right, ordering online is so simple. Oh, and you can’t beat the sides! Dine in experience is also always top notch! So glad you’re in my neighborhood!

Not too many options. Options much better than 8 months ago, but improved from other uses of this apt… Gr8 Food, use to go in more often but new servers are not always friendly as it was 5 years ago, that part has changed for the worst… Some are great, it’s Russian Roulette as to who you get… Food brings us back, always crowded on weekends…

Worst service. Unfortunately The Saint George Utah location is majorly understaffed. Food came wrong and very salty. When I went to talk to the manager at the front desk no one came in for about 20 minutes so I decided I would call back later when they were less busy. I let it ring and ring and ring for four days straight. When I finally got a hold of someone the manager wasn’t in but she assured me the manager would call me back within two days which never occurred. Since then I have not been able to get a hold of anyone again.

Gift card & Rewards. Either a rewards system or way to get rewarded for coming every other business has dine rewards and so on and I never get anything from Texas with discounts or free onion or appetizer and with a big family and friends you need every little bit and once a year is why I don’t come there without rewards I don’t want to spend that kind of money

Gift cards and coupons. My family loves Texas Roadhouse and we’re loving this update. It allows me to use a gift card without having to mess with them when I pick up my order. I also saw it accepts coupons too! Can’t wait to try that out when my birthday comes around!

Need More Options for Allergies. The app is good, but I cannot use it to order online due to the need for more options or comment space for not cooking on the charcoal, removing the salt from the baked potato, etc. The app is also convenient, but again due to the limitations I have to call the order in which usually results in waiting for several minutes during peak hours for someone to answer.

Serious flaw in the To Go system. The last three times I’ve tried to make an online to-go order I cannot actually pick ASAP as my order time. I pick ASAP, fill my order and each time I’m instructed to pick a later order time because of “high volume”. Always more than 30 minutes past the current time. But then I just call in my order and get a 25-30 minute order time just like ASAP. Every time. Something is wrong with how the app figures traffic volume. The nice UI and design is useless if I never can trust the ordering system.

Good App, but….. Nice app for placing to go orders, but…. Does not work correctly for joining the waitlist. It will allow me to join waitlist, but will NOT notify me, or update me via email or text for when it’s time to come into the restaurant. Very frustrating when the hostess claims she pages us every time, but we never receive notification. Usually ends up in us waiting longer for a table, and when you put in a reservation 1 hour prior, an extra 15 mins of waiting is very disappointing.

Love the app, still have suggestions. Would love to be able to customize individual orders (with specific cooling instructions) beyond what is available on the app. It would make it easier than were additional instructions are located. I like that I can at least add additional instructions for the order as a whole.

Texas Roadhouse app improved. I’ve used the Texas Roadhouse app before but it has been awhile. It has improved considerable. Now you can individualize the orders to exactly your specifications. The app is user friendly and much easier than calling in the order. Now we can place an order, pick it up or have it delivered. No fuss, no muss! Thanks Texas Roadhouse!

Take out order was not complete. Just ordered a bone in ribeye, sautéed mushrooms and extra rolls. After waiting 15 minutes past my pick up time (3.30) which is when they open for dinner . I saw them turn away several guests who must have arrived 10 minutes early. My order. No sautéed mushrooms, and had to throw away the rolls. Ellie May Clampett may have been proud of them, but I had no need of shoe repair or shingles. Needless to say, this is the last time I will order anything from Texas Road House. There are too many fine steak houses in my area.

Excellent app!. It seems most people here are suffering from operator error. Not app error. This is for the app rating. Not for you to gripe about the bad service you got at the store. Otherwise, I’ve never had a problem with this app. The lack of humans is more than made up by the awesome people that work at the restaurants. Love ya guys!

Love the food. The only problem I have is making a to-go order. Being outside to pick it up is not too comfortable. We should be able to go indoors during cold, rainy, snowy or windy weather and pick up our order. But the salads are the best. The baked sweet potato is the most awesome, and the steaks and pulled pork sandwiches are delicious

Never disappoints!!. We love Texas Roadhouse! This family of 5 eats at Texas Roadhouse at least twice a month. It’s our favorite steakhouse and the kids love the cinnamon butter rolls. We have never been disappointed with our food and the staff is always great. Keep up with the great service and delicious food, and we will continue to keep coming back!

Waitlist is a Sham. So I downloaded this for the joining waitlist feature. Sounded fantastic! Our Texas Roadhouse is constantly packed and with ours having a 2 hour wait last Friday, we decided to try back today (the following Friday). We sat and had a glass of wine at a favorite spot and I put us on the waitlist. It said an hour and to come check in at 6:30. We rolled up and checked in at 6:25. I was not told that there was a waitlist once you got here. It is 7 o’clock and there are still 6 people ahead of us in line. What’s the point in even having a waitlist function if you’ve gotta wait 35+ minutes once you get here?! Stupid.

Satisfied customer. App was easy to use. It made me think of things I desired for my order. My only hang up was the yellow checkout bar did not say click to place in the cart… may that bar can read a little differently. Other than that… I will be using this app again in the future!! Much Improved. This location has significantly improved it’s quality check methods for curb-side orders. There was a time when orders were always short a couple of items or an entire entree would be missing. Our last few experiences were near perfect, keep up the good work guys and gals. Pick a different time.... This app still needs work. Got to the end of the order and said order could not be completed by that time. So, tried to edit time and received an error that it could not verify order in the basket. So...eating somewhere else until they fix this app.

Gift Card. I wanted to use 2 gift cards to order online, and while it DID let me use both, when i went back to edit the order it cleared out the gift card information even though i clicked save :,( didn’t know adding/taking out of my order would remove the cards from the file

Love the app. Love the app and love the food, just one thing would make it perfect….. if we were able to add our in-dinning receipts or be able to pay our in-dinning bill with our app (just like Cracker Barrel) …… not for points but to have a history of our purchases and dine ins….. but love to have the check in at the palm of our hands with this app….

Order Erased. Ok, not sure what the issue is here but gift cards used for payment obviously doesn’t work. Tried twice, built our order and when I got to checkout and entered the card number and pin is just completely erased the order and took me back to the beginning AND logged me out. We love the food but as it’s always swimming with people at our local restaurant the app would seem to be a better alternative, we just ate somewhere else. Need to fix your app issues.

This app is the worst. As soon as you order everything and select a time to pick up, you are ready to check out, right? WRONG!!!!! It tells you that the time selected is no longer available, so you adjust the pick up time to the next available time, right? WRONG!!!!!! It empties your cart and you have to start the whole process all over again only to be told that the new time is no longer available. And thus, the cycle of hell begins again. If there was an app that was meant to drive customers away from you place of business, this is the winner.

Easy to customize. I just placed my first order through the app, and I appreciate how easy it was to place an order and do small customizations like take butter off of potato. Good first experience. Choosing earliest available pickup time ensures you don’t get to the end of your order only for it to tell you the order time you selected is no longer available.

One of the best food order apps out there. This app clearly leverages real time data from the kitchen. Which allows them to adjust expectations on when orders will be received. Many organizations have not learned this logic over the past couple of years. And still just give a standard estimate regardless of the number of orders received. You guys rock!

Doesn’t respond well. The app has inbox issues that I hoped they would fix by note but haven’t, thus this review. You can tell it to dismiss a message until your finger falls off and it still won’t do it. I get so many messages that won’t go away and it’s not only frustrating, it sometimes makes me decide to go somewhere else to eat. You’re losing business!! I’ve also had numerous problems with gift certificates, which also seems to be an old unfixed problem.

I love how easy it was to order food to go. It gave me a chance to think of all my toppings and so forth and I didn’t have to call the waitress 3 or 4 times asking for more condiments to get what I wanted. This APP allows me I To order all items on the app and it’s already for me when I pick it up!

Complete Fail. We went tonight for my daughters birthday dinner, it was just awful! When our food finally arrived her food and mine were completely wrong they took back to correct, another25 minutes, by that time the rest of our party had finished their meals so ours was packed to go, and apparently they didn’t cook fresh burgers just threw our original patties back on the grill and cooked, they were overcooked and dry, worst experience yet, we quit going there because of another bad experience, well there won’t be another. It is a shame Stillwater can’t offer a good Steak House.

Great App. This is real handy and I use it all the time-It’s too easy as I’m eating here about once a week———-one problem though-they seem to turn it off on busy nights-also they make me call to get it brought out to my car after I check curbside on the online order-I’m on Oxygen 24/7 and it’s easier to bring it to me-it’s also cold in Buffalo NY-thanks for your response though

We love Texas Roadhouse 🤍. I can’t believe I waited 33 years to try this. Love our Sunday night take outs!!The girls working the window are always super sweet and always very grateful for their tip. My food is always on point, they never forget anything, and always make sure that I have my dozen rolls ready LOL it’s like having a slice of home nearby I love picking up food for my kids and I on Sunday night!

Tip for users with problems logging in. I have the problem where the app goes to the background and doesn’t log me in. The problem is intermittent. FWIW I found that changing the VPN server location fixes the issue (until the next time). It appears just simply changing the server location, not the specific location, is the factor that resolves the problem in the moment. If not for this irritation I would give the all 5 stars.

Best restaurant around!. My boys and I absolutely love this TRH! Cynthia is the best and always makes us feel at welcome and at home. We eat here weekly and will continue to do so. From the minute we walk in until the minute we leave we feel important and cared for. I really can’t say enough good things about the staff and food here. We just love it.

Ordered on App. My experience on the ap was one of the best ever for online ordering. They anticipated all the extra sides and things we would want and made it possibly to modify every item on the menu. I am so excited to enjoy my food I was even able to lace an order for a future pick up time

Don’t try to use a gift card!. Tried to use the app to order to-go. Then I created an account and tried it that way- same thing happened after trying to enter in a gift card #. So frustrating! Then you call the restaurant to order over the phone and it tells you to go to their website or use the app for faster service… 🙄😡
