lovely app. simple look, straight forward functions. just one more suggestion: consider put a process bar feature into the app, so users could track how much the task is done by the bar. of course the percentage is set by user.

Simple and easy. I rarely review apps but I really like this app. It is very easy to use and simple. Lot of scheduling apps have too many functions and just setting the them for each task itself is quite time consuming. If you just list you tasks quickly so that you don't forget and you have a habit of going through your list daily, you will get so much accomplished with this. Ever since I started using this app, I never miss my must-to-dos. I Love it! (But if you need integrity with other scheduling apps or collaborate with others, this may not be good enough. It is great app to get your individual tasks done efficiently. )

Simple but effective. There's nothing to majorly fancy about this app. It's just you, and your list. Not too many complications. It's simple design helps me focus on what needs to be done. If I forget, it still lets me know that it is still there and needs to be done. I've gone through a few apps similar to this, but Task is the only one I stick with! Plus, I love swiping completions/deletions. Also, can forget about the little tones it makes when you tap on tasks. Highly enjoyable for me Thanks!!!

Simply Spoiled. I can’t use any other task manager after stumbling into this sublime app. It does everything I want it to and EXACTLY nothing else. If you want to keep burning through messy, unintuitive productivity apps, then AVOID THIS APP. Otherwise, you might find yourself addicted to its excellent design and your own peace of mind.

EVERYTHING DISAPPEARED?!?!?!. I have been using this app for years as my calendar and loving it. But with the newest phone update with zero warning ALL of my tasks disappeared. ALL OF THEM. It is now blank. I have now lost ALL of my schedule for the next year and do not know how to retrieve it.

The genius of simplicity. How many "task managers" and to do apps have we all tried by now? Yup, I know..... The "Purchased" section of my App Store app is littered with them too. And depending on what I need to "manage", I use a happy few with some regularity. TASK is different. I use it every day. It puts simple order in my day. Perhaps because of the layout, you can clearly see your path ahead, as well as cast a look over your shoulder at what's gotten done already. But it's one-pointed. You can see the map of the territory ahead, and move into it. I don't know about anyone else, but the plan & order of my days and what I need to get done don't usually go along with the precision of an atomic clock. Stuff gets moved around, modified, put off a bit....sometimes..... TASK handles every hairpin turn so smoothly, so easily. With a few easy swipes or gestures it's all rearranged. No stress, no strain. Check a date (a cool accordion calendar unfolds), set a reminder with a couple of taps, make a crucial item stand out in bold type - one tap, edit or move items – tap, no problem. It's a pleasure to use, AND a powerful organizing tool. And you can even change the color scheme. No matter how complex at other levels, at it's heart, genius is always simplicity: the paring away of the extraneous to reveal the pure, simple line Nature had in mind for perfection. Hats off to the simple perfection of TASK.

Clearly better than clear. Easy to use and syncs beautifully with a AppleWatch notifications. It is my simple go to reminder app when I don’t want to share reminders with my wife who uses the same Apple ID. This way when we want notifications apart from each other we simply use this app

Simple and Life Changing. The design is so simple and yet one of the most essential apps in my life. Easy to move, check off, and delete tasks. I love that you can pick what date to accomplish a task and easily move it.

Fun, simple, not full time management. This app does what you could do with a single piece of paper if you wrote down the next five or so tasks you wanted to do. If you forgot what you picked you could glance at the paper. This is more fun than the paper because it makes little noises. If you want to keep a list of hundreds of tasks and data about due dates and categories then you also need another app designed for that.

any update after 5 years?. I think you don’t love humanbeings. otherwise you should post some updates for this awesome todoapp. more than 10 years it is installed in my phones. updating app won’t make you rich. but you will make a thousand ppl happy. still best todoapp. plz :/

Easy, clean,sexy, love. I use this app all the time. It's simple and gets the job done well. Stop using your calendar and just use this. It's a lot sexier and easier to use than the standard choppy ugly calendars out there.

Basic, does what it says. Nothing fancy, get out what you put in. Keeps track of what you need to do and what you have not yet done. Perfect for me.

My go to. most simple, useful app I have downloaded. I would be lost without this. I use it to schedule when I work, homework assignments, appointments etc. I always stay organized with this app!

Minimal, yet maximally useful. It’s a simple to do list app - exactly what I was looking for. It doesn’t have a bunch of bells and whistles, but that’s part of the appeal. It’s helped me stay on top of things, so what more could you want?

Pretty useful. Cloud backup used to not work but the latest version seems to have fixed this.

Please update. It’s a great app. I have been using it for many years. My biggest problem is that it hasn’t been updated in years. It has a few glitches that I wish would be taken care of. I uninstalled it several times over the years but keep using it because it’s so simple and easy to use.

Turban Legend. It's cumbersome trying to move tasks between days. Besides that issue, this app is really helpful and straightforward in helping me keep my tasks straight. I use it in addition to a calendar.

Very disappointed. I bought this app many years ago and loved it. Then I got a new iPad and even though I connected it to the cloud, the data will not move over. Everything else on my iPad is fine. It was difficult getting to the developer’s website and once there, there is no help. No FAQ. No guides. Not even a forum to ask other users. If I need to retype all of this in again, I’m going to find another app with better functionality and better back up.

No more updates. Icloud sync issues. I think the developer(s) has given up on the app. There has been any updates for a long while and icloud sync won’t work anymore with the latest ios update. May be someone else should take over the developer or create from scratch another app similar to this one.

Simple but effective. I'd pay for this app many times over! I don't know what I'd do without it. The first thing I do when I get a new phone is download Task and make sure I get my tasks switched over

New Life for Task with Stage Manager. Wow. I am super excited about using the Task app again. With Stage Manager and the Magic Keyboard, Task displays right side up while the iPad is in landscape mode. No more rotating the iPad to use Task. The Magic Keyboard works great with Task. I put a Master Task List in Apple Notes and display Task side by side with Notes using Stage Manager. I can create a new note in Task and then drag and drop an item from the Master Task List (grab the checkbox circle in Apple Notes) right into Task. Absolutely brilliant. Of course, you go from planning to doing by using Task on your iPhone. Love it.

So disappointed!. I’ve been using this app for YEARS! But I just updated to iOS 15 and all my tasks are gone. I had reminders on there years in the future and everything is gone. I could cry.

Wonderful. 2023! It’s been updated!!!!! Just about perfect. Love the colors and attention to detail. 1 request: Desktop version It's taken me a while to figure out how to really use Task, but now I use it as a 3-things-per-day approach, that I can setup in advance. Great!

Great app but.... I am a college student and use this app everyday. It helps to keep track of everything pretty easily. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the iCloud backup doesn't work. For a couple of times now when I upgrade to a new phone it never transfers all the saved data even though is backed up with iCloud. I hope they fix this soon. Other than that it is an excellent. app.

Simply the best, most used app in my phone!. I just recently had a phone meltdown and had gotten lazy about backing up my info. Do you know the one app - more than photos, more than contacts that I lamented losing? Task!!! It keeps our family on track and keeps track of my failing mind. It literally saves the day at some point everyday! Keep on updating and making it compatible with newer phones but don't mess with it too much. It's simplicity is what makes it so great. It's the perfect nagging partner that is in your face about what needs to be done (that number of tasks left can be haunting, but in a productive way) and I love setting tasks up for the future, so things don't sneak up on me now like they used to. Thanks French people for making this app; it's simply the best!

Nice APP. The option to have a repeating reminder would be great. Just put a check box in the time drop down. Very easy to use APP. Love it.

Used to love this. I loved this app for its simplicity. No fuss - I don’t need reminders set because I look at this app probably 10 times a day solely by habit so it worked really well for me. I would also put appointments/events in it because I liked having everything I needed to do in a day in one place. Unfortunately, every now and then (I could never pinpoint precisely when, but I suspect when my time zone changed), my tasks would be pushed a day back or moved a day forward and I’d lose track of all my events/appointments. This may be only my issue because I’m somewhat using it for a use that makes keeping dates straight extra important but after risking missing important appointments, I’ll be seeking out a new tasks app.

Fantastic!. I found this because I liked the interface an simplicity of Clear but needed reminders and an actual timeline. This solved my reminders need and does it in a very simple and elegant way! Basically, this is (as of today) Clear without the lists but with reminders and tasks split into the day it is due. Strange thing: Your tasks are listed in reverse order - that is, the tasks due today is at the bottom of the list. Room for improvement: add the ability to create lists. Add the ability to create a task that doesn't actually have a due date. Great price too! I really hope app updates keep coming because there is quite a lot of great competition when it comes to Todo apps and I'm finding myself very fickle.

Does what it promises. Is it a bit of a copy of Clear though? Similar gestures. Good additions of notifications & date due functions though. Would like to see a settings option for other themes or tasks outstanding!! Also a small suggestion, to have dags AND dates in the heading (e.g. Tuesday 19th June) instead of just the date.

Incomplete. Whilst it is all good and pretty to have nice paper folding effects, without Repetitive Tasks this app is effectively useless and cannot replace Reminders app. :(

Fills a need. Basic but handy for immediate todo tasks you do not want to add to a calendar. Clean efficient interface with good flexibility to rearrange due dates. Better than fridge magnet notes for immediate reminders.

Very useful. Great app. I use it all the time. One improvement I would suggest is the ability to save 'standard' lists. For example, my Friday list is fairly consistent, just one or two things different each week. If I could save it, then load it each week and modify as required, would be a 5 star app.

Task. Love the new features:) But... 1. Is it possible to change the black background in the iPad version? Full screen or at least some sort of color or pattern maybe? 2. Add reminders without setting a specific day or time?

Cool app!. This is a fantastic app. For time critical environments when to be able to jot down and set reminders quickly is important. Also the layout with the immediate tasks at the base of the scroll and upcoming events at the top, makes it far easier to keep track and organise. This simple design feature is inspired. Review of Task to-do list app. This is an excellent app for creating a to-do list. I like how it is simple to use, and easy to keep track of incomplete tasks from past days. It also gives the user a choice of saving or deleting completed items on the to-do list.

I'm the type of person who loves to make lists and have everything planned out, but I don't like apps that use too much brain power. Simple but powerful.. I love this app. I have found that it has become a key part of organizing my life. With the most recent update allowing the tasks to be forwarded from yesterday to today, it allows me to see what is falling behind.

Frustrating. Ever since updating to version 2, Task won't even open. I loved the simplicity of old Tasky, but this is just too much hassle when I can find a similar app that does the exact same thing with fewer glitches.

Love it!. I recently lost my iPhone and had this app on my old phone. I searched forever to find this app again. It's organized, simple to use, easy to read, no silly alarms.. Just an awesome app. I would suggest it to anyone.

Great App needs ipad version. Great app, I am starting to use it for my busy work schedule, would be great if there was an ipad version. It would be great if this app could somehow integrate with my work tasks or calendar rather than being only standalone on the iPhone. Similar to how the calendar app lets you use lotusnotes, gmail, iCloud. Categories would be very helpful for example: Groceries Sales Customer opportunity Administration Family etc Location services with tasks would be cool also. Thanks

Almost perfect. I agree with other reviewers that this is basically Clear but with a few more important implementations, such as reminders. That makes this application much more useful for me personally. Of course that does not mean it is perfect. Below are a few suggestions I have: - Landscape view on iPad (option for) - Mac companion app - Date sequence flipped (today at the top, then tomorrow, etc.) - Smaller text (option for) - Better syncing (iCloud syncing is slow) - Faster startup time - Location-based reminders - Cleaner and easier reminder adding - Subtasks would also be neat, but I realize this would somewhat destroy the simplicity of the app; but it would be nice to say "Get groceries" and then when you click on it it expands to show the groceries (just a suggestion) This list will probably grow as I use it more. Some things I do not think the application needs are: multiple lists, contexts, and different themes.

Amazing App... WoW. I love this app! It has a simple design and simple functions so its crystal clear what you have to do. There is only one thing that would make it better; having more room in each box so I can write all the info I need like title, place and time. Otherwise, it's perfect for me and my busy week. Best reminder app I've ever used!. Very user friendly app, I use it for everything. I really didn't like the Apple reminders app, so I went searching for one I did, and I found this gem a few years ago. I've been using it ever since, on every new iPhone/iPad. It's clean, simple, and does exactly what I need it to. Plus I can make the UI pink~ All in all, I've paid more for less intuitive apps and I really wish I had found this one first. Absolutely recommend this if you have a busy schedule or are just very forgetful!

Awesome. I've tried them all. The last app I was using was Clear, cuz it's so awesome, but since I got Task had to get rid of Clear. Task is much more productive for my workflow while Clear is just pretty. If I could change anything about this app would be the ability to move past tasks to any day, not just today. I'd love to see a) location-based reminders b) recurring reminders c) Mac or Chrome companion app. All of that said, I realize that part of the developers desire is to keep the app as simple and straight-forward as possible so I can appreciate why these 'bells and whistles' may be absent but that doesn't stop me wanting them! For me, the addition of those features would make it a 5-star 'cannot love without it' app. I've tried dozens of reminder and task apps and this is by far the best one I've found so far. (I've actually stopped looking now!)

Not great. I was looking for an app to replace the "task" feature from my old Blackberry. I wanted to be able to set generic task item (like "home stuff") and then be able to add checklists of items. This app only allows so much text and no multiple lines (ie. can't hit the return key for a new line). Not worth the $0.99 for me.

Love it/j'adore. I'd be lost without it! I like that they have added the time reminders. I recommend it to everyone! Tout simplement je serais perdu sans cette application. J'aime le fait qu'on peut ajouter le temps à une tâche. Bravo!

Simple and clear. Very useful app, just needs to be a little stronger for setting up todo items in the distant future as well as support for alerts before the day of the item (I couldn't see this option) Otherwise it's perfect and being used everyday!

Decent knockoff. This is Clear on steroids, but steroids aren't necessarily good. It has some features that clear lacks like reminders and implements it very well. But it's missing the bells and whistles (literally, no sound) and the quotes. Just not as fun to use as clear. I'm going to keep both on my phone and see which one I end up using more. Big difference is that clear is a multiple list manager and tasks is a task manager. You cannot create multiple lists, it's just tasks arranged chronologically.

Great app. I am the ultimate list maker and always have been long before smart phones. This task app is great and I love the new version. I use it each morning to get me started in the right direction. I get so much accomplished now. I love the alert feature that I can add to certain tasks that need to be done at a certain time. Just wish they didn't charge for different (colors) themes.

very good but a few suggestions to add finesse to the functionality. It’s a good app overall but it needs to add a few more options to make it more personal for its users. My TODAY tasks are my top priority of the day obviously. So, I feel it’d make more sense to have the option to have the TODAY at the top of the screen rather than at the bottom. But I can understand some people may prefer to have it at the bottom, so why not leave the user the option to custom it? Also may be instead of Bold letters for top priority tasks, it could have a color like Red or a sign like a Bullet point. It adds more finesse to the design instead of this ugly bold letters. they should also give the option to the users to choose a font size and bar size. It will add again more finesse to their app and changing the size of the bar will allow the users to see more tasks at once without scrolling down. Lastly, swiping to delete doesn’t always smoothly. I had to swipe 2-3 times at times to be able to delete it. But may be the developers are already working on these options above…?

Very Useful. Great task app

Great scratchpad - needs a bit more. I use GeeTask and FantastiCal with my iPad & iPhone apps linked to Google calendar on my Windows desktop and laptop. The Google Task list is helpful, and can be printed or emailed to others. ALL of these tend to be Date Centric ... What happens next Monday, next July 4th or whatever. THIS TASK app gives me a floating project reminder that is NOT hard linked to a future date, helping me to work in bits of time as bits of time become available. It helps me proactively work on projects that take many days or weeks etc. However, I can't print or email anything. Nothing links to Windows or other calendars. There is no archiving of info. This app needs to at least allow me to email data I can then massage with bigger tools.

I use this app every day!!. Great app! For all of us that have busy, active lifestyles, this is the app for you. If I don't write it down, it doesn't get done. I have seen a huge improvement in my daily life because I get more done using Task! I feel great swiping things as complete instead of getting mad because I forgot, a again! This app makes it quick and easy to enter a To-Do and it's the best of a dozen I've tried. Do yourself a favor and get this app!! You won't be sorry.

Like it but want more. I really like the simplicity of this App but it needs a few significant updates to be the 'perfect' task list for me. One, unlimited or much more available spacing in each entry to be able to do grocery lists, appointments with address and phone numbers. Secondly, the ability to lock an item so it automatically is displayed everyday until completed to prevent having to manually move it from day-to-day and thirdly, the ability to copy an item for similar actions changing only dates or names as needed. Just right. As with any of these task apps, the biggest challenge is to keep using them long term. I must say it seems much easier to do with this one...it's so quick and easy to make tasks with due dates...most apps take too long to organize by time, so you end up with a cluster of to-dos that seems insurmountable. Great app. This company really makes several great apps, and I'm glad I found them.

This is the one you've been searching for. I've spent years casually looking for the right app to help schedule my days. I've tried over 30+ apps that claim to do that, but Task is the only one that's managed to stay on my phone. The others always had something wrong. Be it, design, layout, functionality, etc. My search is over, and yours can be too, if you use this app.

Perfect task app. Great app! I was looking for a task app that was light-weight and did recurring events. For me, I use it for daily goals. The same goals at the same time everyday. At night you will have to go through and click the clock icon for each goal, and swipe to "tomorrow". It will remember the alarm time that you set before automatically. This app has a recurring function, which I use, but doesn't automatically allow the alarms to recur. I thought that would be annoying, but it actually reminds me of my goals, and that I reached them each night, and that actually makes me happy and gives me a feeling of purpose. Honestly this is the best task app I've ever downloaded. It syncs with my iPad easily and I've had zero trouble with it.

Awesome app. Simplicity rules! The only thing that would make this app better is to have a todo list option that didn't have a date. Parallel to there being a today list, it would be nice to swipe to one side or the other to make a general todo list that wasn't tied to a date. I am annoyed that my todo list keeps popping up as things that need to be done today when my todo list is never ending. Hope that makes sense.

Simple, like to-do lists are meant to be. This app has the right set of features that I need from a to-do list. Nothing too fancy, just simple enough to remember things to be done. Don't expect sub lists, comments, or anything not related to the gist of it. Just tasks, ordered chronologically, due dates, reminders, cool gestures support, all in a very beautiful and simple user interface.

Really nice design. I really like the design but the program randomly deletes my old tasks, and I cannot remember what was there. I hate that.

GIGANTIC FONT!!!. Just purchased this app and the in-app purchase of more themes. It looked to be just what I needed. However, I was really taken aback by the GIGANTIC font and do NOT care for that at all! I would like to see the option to change the font size at least, which would also allow for more TEXT in the same space and more visibility of my input. That humongous text really puts me off and I'm beginning to feel like my purchase was a mistake. I hate BIG fonts! The ability to customize an app a bit makes all the difference to user satisfaction, so I sincerely hope the developer will take this request into consideration. Thank you.

Decent todo app. I really like this app, two complaints I have is the order in which tasks are listed, should be today's task on top then list to later tasks I.e. tomorrow, then later this week. The second complaint is when there are only 1-2 tasks in your list they are put at the bottom of the screen, this doesn't make sense aesthetically, they should be listed top-down. Fix this and it can easily replace my other todo apps

Simple & Very Handy. Very useful!

Very Nice. The interface is innovative, good and quick, you can easily promote/demote tasks to revise the order of things, and it's a simple, clean, non-fussy and very capable solution. It does what it should do, without getting bogged down in non-essential bells and whistles. The only missing piece is some linkage to iCal - it shouldn't be necessary to re-enter things here that are already on your iCal calendar. Ideally, I'd like to see a way of OPTIONALLY adding a task based on its presence in one's calendar.

Love Task Structure. Unique design that is genius in its simpleness. I definitely spend more time on what I want to get done on a day than on managing a color-coded, highly prioritized, overly structured & over-priced app. I love the approach they take on Task. Prioritize by drag & drop. Choose the sound to be rewarded by swiping a task complete. Prefer it to Clear, although they really serve different purposes but use a similar structure. Yes, today's tasks are toward the bottom, but after using it, it's genius. It just works. Also - my iPad & iPhone are kept in synch through iCloud. Visit their website for more description. The in-app purchase of additional color themes is not necessary unless you are compelled to double the price of the app just for a different color. Will look to these guys for additional functional apps.

Perfect ToDo List App. I’m a believer in the idea that less is more, and I like to keep certain things simple. This app is perfect for just those reasons. There are no annoying huge calendars with a million different options to use just to enter a task you have for that day. This app is perfect because it has full access to a calendar but keeps the tasks for today and the next few days as big as your phone screen. So it helps you focus on the tasks at hand, not all the tasks you have to accomplish over the period of a month. Tasks can be edited, crossed out once completed, and you don’t have to enter any specific time slot for when you want to accomplish the task. It’s worth every cent.

Hands down BEST task app. I don't write reviews. But I am really impressed and happy with this app that I wanted to write for others to see. I have tried so many, perhaps, too many task apps. This one is by far the most functional and simple and beautiful and perfect task app which I ACTUALLY use. I use it for my iPhone and iPad. They are synced perfectly. The "themes" are great ("Ivory" and "Carbon" are beautiful) and unfinished tasks can be moved to the next day automatically. The font is big and good looking which is great double bonus. How the calendar and time and priority are designed in this app is just BRILLIANT. I've never recommended any app to anyone but this app, I can highly recommend to anyone. Excellent job, developer!

There came a point where I couldn't take it anymore, and set out to find the perfect task app for me, so I went on Google and searched for a long time... Until I found Task. Excellent personal task scheduler. Update: 6/21: new version 2 is superb. It's a calendar of personal tasks. Fast. Simple. Effective. Good looking. For repeats, like a medication,I just move the task to the next day when it is completed for this day. For shared schedules/calendar, I use Week Cal. For simple lists without deadline, I use Clear. Takes Clear to the next level. Now needs repeating alerts. Really pleasant interface.

Best app there you can find. I love this app & its guestures. Love the design & almost everything about it. The most important thing in this app it got an alarm unlike Clear App. I gave it a 4 star because of the (In-App purchase for themes). Why not to make the app cost 1,99$ and get the app with all of the themes instead of paying (In-App purchase which I paid for it anyway). Also, pleeeeeeeeease support the Arabic Language. Because after saving the task. The phrase goes to left (when its saved). You change that and you will get 5 star. Other than that, this app is beautiful. I recommened it. UPDATE****** Also if it possible to add a manual button so I can sync my tasks faster instead of waitng for it to auto sync!

Love this app, but.... This app works great for my lists. I love that I can assign tasks to days in the future and set it up so that unfinished tasks automatically roll over to the next day. The only thing I dislike is that it does not switch to landscape on my ipad; this makes it difficult to switch between this app and other apps while working. UPDATE: I have lost my list twice now--once when I updated my OS and another time when I hadn't used the app for a week.

good job. very good, intuitive and clean app. Only thing I would change is the business model for themes/ and landscape mode, and I would suggest adding and import option for calendars. Since this is a merge between a calendar and a todo list app, it would be nice to either subscribe to a calendar (ical, gmail) that way its easier for users to "switch" from the start to using this app instead of redoing their calendar/todo lists every week or using ios calendar and this app at the same time.

BEST task organizer EVER!. Tried this out for a few days and I love it! I usually forget to write things down and miss important appointments, and Task works like a charm. Easy to use, simple and clean, this app allows you to keep a day-by-day checklist, leaving you the freedom to organize your task list however you feel. For those scanning through these reviews looking to buy, here's what you need to know: -tap on the blue "TODAY" bar to create a new task -type out task, then tap off the box -pinch between tasks to create a new task -tap and hold to move a task around -swipe to the right once to complete task, swipe right again to uncheck task (incomplete) -swipe task to the left to delete task -pull screen down for preferences, settings and themes (also for $.99 to unlock a theme) - pull screen up to view previous tasks and history HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for those who struggle with remembering appointments and deadlines. For being only $.99 (or $1.98 to unlock a theme) it is well worth every penny!

Works surprisingly well. I'm a TO-DO list kinda guy and while I've tried many apps for this, have always gone back to a pencil and paper. HOWEVER... this app actually has kept me using it. It's elegantly simple, easy to use and easy to learn. And it's always with me cuz it's in my phone... One thing I wish this app DID do is synchronize with the same app in my iPad with list data in the cloud. I know this would be an order of magnitude more difficult but ... well it's just a suggestion.

I'm in love with this app.. I've recently acquired a love for lists - and part of the reason may be this very app. The interface may take a little bit of getting used to, but it is very clean and organized, nonetheless. You can set up reminders, mark urgent parts of the list, check off completed tasks, uncheck no-longer-completed tasks, delete tasks with the swipe of a finger. change color, make new tasks in a pinch (ba-dum tssh)... I couldn't live without this app. I highly recommend it.

Works great. This app is most like scratching out a list on a scrap of paper. I use google task for the master lists, but this is my before bed "remember to get these things done tomorrow" list maker. No options to distract: just "scribble" it down, assign it to a day or you can make an alarm if you need, and move on. It's straightforward, easy to use, the sounds annoy me but can turn them off in settings, as well as customize a few other things. I like it!

I would prefer that Task keeps uncompleted items on Today. I like the calendar folding interface, and the time selection scrollers. During my use of it, I found that I was more interested in playing with the interface than I was in using it as a task manager. A major issue for me with Task is that uncompleted tasks (with due dates/reminders and without) vanish from the today list at the end of the day. You can find them by scrolling to the "Past Tasks" screen—but this design makes me feel like uncompleted tasks will just fade from my attention day by day. I would prefer uncompleted tasks to remain in the Today list until they are completed or deleted. In the time selection scrollers, I should be able to scroll AM/PM. As is, you have to scroll past 12:00 in order to change AM/PM. I'll revisit this app as improvements are made, but for now, I am sticking with Clear for simple tasks, and the Hit List for more complex projects.

Pretty good overall. I really like this task app, but the one thing that prevents me from giving it 5 stars and using it consistently is the fact that tasks are tied to days and don't automatically bump up to the next day when left incomplete. I would love if this app would auto-bump unfinished tasks to the current day, so that I could see, at a glance, what unfinished tasks I still need to take care of. If that option were added in, this would be a 5-star app, in my opinion.

Nearly perfect!. Tasks has improved in many ways. It's not quite perfect. The fold out calendar requires two gestures, which is very clunky, and visually I have a couple preferences that will probably never happen. It's quite beautiful all the same. It's nearly perfect, and has iCloud, so it beats Finish, it's only real competition. (Finish has no "today" task badge count.) Repeating tasks can be done elegantly, and I hope it gets added. This is the only app I use for scheduled tasks; I don't even use a calendar besides this.

Simple and Effective. Very streamlined app. Elegant and intuitive interface. Ideal for anyone with chronic forgetfulness or those who lay awake thinking about all the things that have to be done the next day. Now, I know that this app is kept intentionally simple to make it straightforward and easy to use, BUT I would love to see two two little additions: 1) the ability to categorize tasks (personal, business, etc.) and filter to-do's by these categories, and 2) an option to attach some more detailed notes to a task. It sounds like the developers often implement customers' requests, so I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Visually appealing, with smart gestures and features. Task is a great todo app for those who use list based methods for GTD. Yes, the app is fairly bare-bones, but I find that makes it easier to use without getting bogged down in categories, and other roadblocks to quick entry and viewing. I especially enjoy being able to quickly rearrange items, and the ability to add reminders. I'd like to see a task count badge, and undone tasks forwarding to the next day (both apparently coming to the next version). Also some method of syncing with iCloud, a Mac app or Google Chrome, etc. for desktop viewing would be fantastic. There are a few interface quarks that should be ironed out, also, but for the price and ease of use Task is worth trying out.

This is what Clear should have been!. I am absolutely obsessed with personal organization, so I download every one of these task management apps and every time I am disappointed. I even made a list of the features I needed in an app, and I wasn't too picky, but still there was nothing out there until Task came along. Let me tell you, I loved clear, it looks great but it is of absolutely no use to me without due dates and scheduling. Task does NOT feel like a clear clone, but if you liked the feel of clear but want more options, Task is ideal. This is by far the best app I have ever found for productivity.. I've never gotten so much done so consistently. Very happy customer Oh and for those crying about themes costing a dollar? Get over it, this app is gorgeous, you don't need themes to enjoy it, and if you do want them, it's a dollar!!! Look on the ground for quarters and I'm sure you'll find a full dollar in no time. "The developer got greedy"?? Haha, the developer got REALISTIC about what it TAKES to run an app. If you can't see how this app saves you more money than it costs then I'm not sure why you're in productivity in the first place.

Perfect.. I've been using so many of these kinds of apps, but they never got me to be as productive as this one because this app is so minimalistic that I can easily organize and prioritize daily tasks, goals, and reminders. I don't have to spend so much time with notes, or putting it in certain categories, or any of those fancy options--it's just: "get it done and get it done by this certain day." It's beautiful, clean, and really clear and concise. I absolutely love it :) Really helps me organize and get things done. Wish there was an iPad version though! But wonderful job nonetheless!

Insanely useful. I never wrote a review before but figured I need to with this app. I use it multiple times a day, and I could not speak more highly of something. It's extremely useful by laying out all approaching deadlines you put into. Phones are always on you whereas a calendar/notebook may not be. Just try it out and you won't be disappointed!

Great app. I like the simplicity similar to Clear, but the fact that I can have a date/time reminder like in other reminder apps is the deal breaker. And people say they don't like how it's organized with later dates further down the page, but I think it actually improves the app. This way you can keep the things on your unfinished today list items on the screen, but also look to tomorrow. However, the option to reverse this would be nice for everyone, and I'd like to see how it would turn out. Maybe put the day headings at the bottom of their lists? A few things that would be nice: • Done items move to the bottom of a current list • landscape mode for iPad • Repeating tasks • Context buttons (if you use the word "call" and a name, the button would call the person, same for text, email, driving) I know this app is supposed to be simple, so maybe make it opt-in? It's be a nice feature • Also the animations are cool and all bit kindof tedious. Yeah it's prolly less than half a second, but I think they might kindof disorient the user with everything flying all over the place Anyway, great job with the app! And I've liked all your games too! Great to keep track of "to-do's". I love this app! I own a business and have a lot on my mind. This app helps me get it out of my head and it's rewarding to mark it off the list!! The only problem is the limitation on characters. I like to explain my tasks in details because it keeps me from thinking about how to do it. It also would be nice to be able to sort tasks or have multiple accounts per se.
