I’ve been enjoying this app so far.... I’ve really been enjoying this app so far, the fact that it’s a study bible has increased my hunger for the Word, the illustrations and facts and references are awesome. It also makes study materials that u might have needed to search for readily available but we should always cross check to be certain...that’s studying to show ourselves approved.

Thankful. I have been using this study bible for many years, gosh I was was in the Lexham bible for quite some time before I realized I could add other translations and, I DID! The list of applicable tools goes on and on…VERY useful. Of course, those involved in theological study, multiple resources are required, it’s a simple reality and, this app is a good place to start!

Faith Life Bible. I like this translation it makes sense. Additionally, the app itself is pretty easy to use. It makes Bible study so much easier when you need to look up multiple scripture references. I absolutely recommend this app with the Faith Life Bible.

Awesome. Love how it makes the process of navigating trhough different scripture without moving you to a different screen. I felt obligated to by Logos cause of this features. Now i can get some saving without going crazy to get it. Does this app has availability to be on Spanish? If so can somebody guide me. Thanks and may God blessed your paths.

Best Update!. I've been using an iPad 2 for along time now, unfortunately the latest update is not extended to iOS 9.7, but on my phone having the ability to create the tabbed study is great. The mobile version now offers a more compelling take on deeper study.

Nicely put together.. The information contained within is wonderful, however most of it is locked. I am unable to find how to unlock it. I give three stars due to this, otherwise it would be five stars all the way!

Latest update a disaster. After trying to learn how to navigate the redesigned app, I finally decided to dump it from my iPad. The web-based tutorial is entirely for iPhone users, and seems to be unrelated to iPad users. In this app’s previous iteration, it was easy to use the accompanying Bible dictionary, which flowed along with the text as you scrolled; I could never FIND the Bible dictionary in the update. Very disappointed in this update.

Good study guide. It is a good literal translation of the Bible with good study’s and brake down of scriptures with some great features. A personal favorite is ability to click a word and the app will give you the definitions and meaning. The reference markers and much more I pray it blesses many as it has blessed me.

My Bible Study Helper. I truly enjoy the clarity that I receive from reading each overview of the books in the Bible. It gives me a better understanding before diving into the whole book. Thanks so much and continue helping other to understand and love God’s word.🥰

Faithlife study Bible. This Bible study app is easy to use and I love how the study notes are alongside the text. Tap on the letter or number in the text and get immediate insight into either the Jewish way of looking at the verse or other translations of the word translated into given word. While I prefer a Bible I can touch with my hands this is good to have for witnessing when we don’t have a physical Bible with us. I recommend it and it is free!! Shalom

Relaxing study if God’s word. I love to lay back and listen to God’s word ...especially after spending much time with paperwork or on the computer, as my eyes are so tired. His word brings relief from the stresses. Only wish I had Old Testament also!

Old vs new. The format was much better and easier to use before this latest upgrade. Now I can’t even get it to open every time. Frequently it just locks up in the loading process. It used to be my favorite reference. It’s not now.

Usability. I really enjoy this app and especially the Bible studies that are part of my package. I also appreciate the fact that there are so many wonderful pieces that one can add to this to make studies more in depth and to expand the field of studies.

Excellent app for daily reading or in-depth study. I love that you can pull different concordances and look up things. And it’s better than YouVersion

Crash problems. I have been using this app for years and love it. In the last three months if the app opens it immediately closes.l really miss not being able to use the app.

Best app. Lots of people complain about the cost associated with Logos but the reality is ministry is an investment—materials are important for your growth and the people God entrusted you with!!! I’m always on the go and this app with my library is the Best thing with ministry on the move

Doesn’t work as advertised. I’m guessing 1 of the monthly subscription packages must be purchased to have access to the info-graphics, pictures, etc. If that is the case, buying a copy of the real paper Faithlife Study Bible is a much better option. It does have the text and notes if

HANDS DOWN THE BEST BIBLE STUDY APP!!!!!!. I have never in my life felt compelled to write a review....EVER! But today I have to! I’m recently getting back into bible study and this is literally the best tool for bible study! It gives you EVERYTHING! Historical context, pictures, video, background and breakdown of all the books and characters within it, the time place significance EVERYTHING !!!!!! And it’s all FREE! The best study resource on the App Store. This study bible is a blessing to me in my study time. The study notes are easy to understand yet deep in explanations of Gods Word. I have learned an abundance while utilizing this app in part of my study regiment. Highly recommend. Thank you FaithLife!

Great App!!. This is a great app! I use it on my mobile phone all the time when I need a quick accurate biblical reference that is thorough and informative.

Life verse Bible. I am so glad to have access of this Bible cause it makes me grow in Lord with His Word. I have not seen the explanation such deep to grasp what the Lord is saying . I wish I had seen this Bible when I just got saved.

Nice but.... Great notes and subsections but too many are locked and online support takes forever to get back to you. I still have many sections showing a lock on it but no way to see the additional material. I've already bought 3 versions and still nothing! Still same review!

Enable use of other languages please. This is one of my favorite apps. Would you consider enabling other languages? I know that Logos Bíblia exists but it would be great to use a single app. Thank you for all of your work. This apps has borne great fruit in my walk.

Making my quiet time exciting again. This is such a wonderful app! I’m enjoying reading it alongside my Bible everyday. It has informative articles and extremely helpful insight into each passage. I’m so thankful for the free version. I heard about it on a podcast from the late Dr. Michael Heiser. We will miss him indeed, but he has left behind so much knowledge.

Daily Reading. The daily scripture gets my day started on the right path! God is Good! All the time! I miss being involved with CBMC but the daily Scripture writings help fill the gap! Had two major strokes a few years ago but God was with me as our elder son is a fireman/paramedic and he was able to connect with me ambulance as they were taking me to the hospital! Hearing his voice come over the ambulance intercom was a serious blessing from God! He and his entire family were immediately on their way to meet us at the hospital! Now, really need to let you know that they live in Salisbury, Maryland and I was several hours away in the town of Bel Air, Maryland! Through my son’s communication with the doctors I was able to get the stroke medication within the three hours requirement in order to have it be effective! Hallelujah ! Praise the Lord! It’s the real thing for me to say ‘God is Good! May He continue to bless my family and yes, the daily Scripture has more meaning every day! I love You Jesus! Hallelujah to the Lamb of God!

Delightful n easy reading.... As an ex-seminary student at the age of 60+, and a lifetime of scripture reading, this is a most helpful resource as a bible app. I currently own a thousand dollar single source app with many bibles apps but I always tend to reach for this one single bible app for my exegesis and hermeneutics...got to love it. Great App. I have had this app before it was linked with the Logos app. I love that it now has that connection. The only reason I gave it 4 starts instead of 5, is that the Bible Reading Plan feature is not as smooth as it once was. It used to automatically mark a reading as “read” automatically once you had scrolled through the reading. The swiping, clicking “more”, and then selected mark as “read” is less streamlined. It also no longer has a badge notification of Bible Reading reminders. The lock screen notification is good but adding a badge would better like it used to have. It is nice to have a reminder after you have unlocked the phone. If they added these features, I would happily give it 5 stars.

Thank you!. I love this bible, I read it all the time and highlight those things that speak to my heart and I even write notes in some of them. I used to enjoy so much the studies or explanation it used to have, for instance, there was a teaching about suffering that was so powerful, since you reformatted the Bible I don’t find those notes that were so insightful and gave me a broader perspective and understanding of a particular verse. Just a comment that I hope you can bring back, thank you!

What I was looking for. This is exactly what I needed. I enjoy sermons because they teach me the things I can’t figure out and don’t know, as so does this app. Provides some historical context, defines obscure words, and points out things I miss side by side (well, top and bottom) while reading the Bible. It may take me 15 minutes to get through a chapter, but it makes that chapter so much more meaningful.

Immediate enjoyment of cross references .... Instead of shuffling back and forth through many pages of a paper Bible to enjoy the cross references, with Logos I can move with by the touch of a finger to a related passage and flesh out my understanding of what I read. This is a big help to staying focused. Thank you!

Fabulous learning tool. I usually hate reading the Bible on a device. This has changed that. The study notes, pictures and illustrations take it to a whole new level. I find myself reading with joy as I uncover each new gem and I can’t wait to uncover more. Thank you Michael Heiser and all who worked so hard on this wonderful app.

Love this app. This app is a great study aid and the commentary/notes have been very helpful. Should be a 5 but I like the old format better because having biblical text and notes on the same page made referencing easier.

Font size. I like this app a lot. My only problem is I can’t figure out a way to make the font larger and my “old” eyes need it to be larger. Maybe there is a way that I don’t know about.

Very Irritating.. This app, this bible study app is difficult to navigate... trying to find the books is irritating, not listed as with most bible apps! So, when you do finally find them you get these abbreviation layouts, okay, whatever. Was looking for a simple format for words, verses, etc. what you do get is a semi-complex app that leaves you more confused than EVER! I’m NOT a novice. Have deleted it, will NOT recommend this app to anyone! True rating is NO STARS!

App is amazing. There is currently a bug where audio won't pickup where it left off after idle a while. I'm constantly having to hard restart the app to play audio.

Best Bible App. I’m a pastor and I use this app all the time. From daily devotions to sermon prep and preparing teachings for Bible studies, I like that I have access to my Logos library. I’m also a grad student working on my thesis and I like that I can use this app on my phone or iPad and still have access to the resources that I need. The latest version does have a glitch. I cannot sign out and the link to report a problem isn’t working either. I’m assuming this is just a normal bug but it’s a little inconvenient but hopefully they get that fixed quickly. Get this app. You won’t regret it. It is absolutely fantastic.

Information Plus so much more. This app is loaded! I would highly recommend it to anyone. If you have never had a Study Bible you definitely need to download this app it will increase her knowledge base and help you study for any lessons or personal time. The photographs and videos really give you a fell for the scriptures!!!

Some Very Nice Features. This has some great features that enhance daily Bible Study. The study notes are displayed as you view the scriptures. It is a nice touch to be able to link to see actual pictures of places described in the Bible. It would be nice if other public domain Bible translations were able to be loaded as well as Greek/Hebrew lexicons. It would be nice if the note area could be expanded to increase the space for notes. This is a good App and one that I recommend every serious Bible scholar should consider getting. (It is free).

Latest revision. Don’t care for the latest revision. Cannot see the end of the range being read because the field is too short. Can’t scroll back to text read in prior days Definitely NOT. An improvement. Also, the new ‘feature’ that brings up the copy/highlight menu is a real distraction to reading—pops up while navigating.

Just One Thing, Prayers. When I am doing my morning devotion, I like to have a somewhat simpler window and app to navigate with just my reading plan, my bible/study notes, and prayer list. I created a layout in my Logos account to accomplish this, but when i am away from my computer I find the Logos app less useful for doing my devotion. THe Faithlife Bible is much better, and easier to navigate. But I still would like the option to put the prayers pop out window as a tab on my layout (reading plan tab, bible/study notes tab, prayer list tab) so that I could more easily update and organize my prayer list. I think that would mean it would have to be accessible as a tool according to the way the app works, like notes. Maybe in the next update?

Please Fix the Copy/Paste Capability. I’ve used this app for years and recommended many people to also use this app. When studying the Bible, I used to copy and paste the scriptures into my notes straight from the app. Now the app will not allow this. When you press the words and try to copy the entire scripture, you aren’t allowed to sweep across the screen to fully highlight for the copy/paste feature. Please fix this and restore this app to its full glory. Thank you for fixing the split screen feature.

Program. The program will lock up and at times it will nor copy to paste. Information is good and generally accessible.

Commentary study. I love the way the app opens in the same chapter and verse from the day before. The other app I was using closed completely as Nd I had to go through 6 clicks to get back where I left off. I will tell my friends about this one!

Great Bible. Very clean and clear translation

Fantastic. Even though it has to be connected with a faithlife account this app is awesome! The notes are comprehensive and I love the references to the original languages and contexts.

A helpful App. As a student of the Bible, I've found this App to be quite helpful, both in design and content. The split screen is a great idea, and this enables me to easily move back and forth from the Word, to Notes on the passage.

At times frustrating. I am finding it even more frustrating since an update, where now it will automatically highlight an area, but maybe I have only gone half way thru and then think do I wish to copy this. No. Or I have scrolled past what I want to copy and want to go back to where I should finish. But either way I now have a half highlighted sentence or text and cannot remove the highlighted text. Even when I go into the Bible program on my computer. It cannot be removed with the erase button. I have selected do not highlight. It still does. think I preferred the earlier edition where it took forever to get it to go past a word as it kept trying to give you the definition of the word you first selected to begin highlighting. At least my bible didn’t look messy then.

Fantastic study bible. I have used quite a few bible apps looking for just the right one. Where I have found others lacking, this one has what they were missing. While the actual bible translation is limited to only two types there are many things that bless me. I really enjoy that I can highlight in different colours within the same verse and that there are so many highlighting options. (Outline, underline, colours, bold ...etc) and you can write notes linked right at the verse. The study portion underneath has great insight, the maps are fantastic and I LOVE that you can jump straight to related scripture by clicking on the link within the scripture, but without leaving your place. The only reason this does not get 5 stars is because it doesn't list the book and verse when you are copying and pasting and there are no instructions as to how to use it. It has so much unrealized potential in my hands without instructions or tutorial. LOL But I absolutely LOVE this bible app ... Thank you so much and keep up the great work.

Great study tool. This is a great app that I would advise those who want to do some slightly more I depth study while on public transport where a full study bible isn't appropriate. Great job!

Great Study Bible. This is a terrific online study bible that is easy to use with helpful notes and infographics. I recommend it.

Top app. I am a retired teacher of biblical studies to high school students and have encouraged my students to download this app. I do lay teaching at my church. I have recommended it to friends and family. Logos is to be commended for making this app available for download. The comments that I have checked represent good scholarship that is understandable to the lay person.

Fantastic Resource at your fingertips. This app is a great toolbox full of extremely useful resource to dig deeper into the bible and get to known the context. The extra information is wonderful for reflect, meditation and better understanding the entire bible and how it fits together.

Great bible study!. The quality of content is outstanding. I found a little difficult to sign up for but once I got it..was well worth the effort.

Faithlife - Great study bible. Great implementation of a study bible to an iPad environment. Best I have found with very helpful notes and supporting resources including maps, diagrams and even video. My wish list is: - capacity to add my own notes as well as being able to cut & paste other online resources, links and add active bible cross references - be able to access the resources and my notes from my Windows computer for preparing studies and messages - ability to see multiple versions as well as original languages (as upgrades)

Great Translation. This is a great translation to read, comparable to the ESV. The only issue I have, is being a collector of premium Bibles, such as RL Allan, Cambridge, I can't add this translation to my collection in printed format.

Not easy to use. The app promises to be great. However it has no instructions or tutorials on how to get the best use. I think Logos needs to put a comprehensive instruction tutorial up and help people get the most out of it. The concept is perfect for the read weary warriors. I am expecting more.

Excellent Tool. This is the only bible I've had since I started using it, for my devotions, preaching and lectures. I have gone against the conventional and opted for an ebible which I can access from anywhere and any gadget in the world. It is handy and helpful.

Useful but needs patience to operate. Its very handy apps as it provides alot of cross references in it. However, it is annoying when I have to see the reference of a note from another verse, that the "back" button will reload my page not to the verse I was reading, but to the previous one before it. Also, the references page often got flipped over even before i finished reading the verse. Overall it is good

Aussie. This app is great and easy to use with practice. It has with it many great resources for digging deep into the bible. The app I use to to use is now #2 in my study tools and Faithlife is now #1. And one of the best thing is I got in on their free offer and have no regrets.

Incredibly laggy?. It seems like a really cool concept and there are definitely a bunch of awesome features like the reminders, the daily prayer and the group following. However, there is no point in these features if the app lags so much that the integral parts (eg the actual Bible, the plans and the preferred Bible) aren’t able to be used. Hopefully they can improve this!

Good app. This has been a wonderful app to help me and my girlfriend study over distance together. The studies in place are quite helpful, and the ease of use is a blessing.

Best bible I have on iPhone. This is a great bible for study and also just for reading. The notes are really helpful to explain concepts or to relate it to different areas of scripture. Can be a little slow at times but understandable as it has a lot of content. Love it!

Soak in God’s word on the run.. With seven young children I never had time to myself to exercise. If I ever had the strength to get up extra early I would use that time for private Bible study because I knew it was what I needed most. But as I made it into my forties I realised that all of that lack of exercise had taken its toll on my health. The. I discovered this Bible translation on audio and decided to start walking while listening early in the mornings. I just love it being soaked in God’s precious word as I walk through the wonders of His creation. Thank you to everyone who brought this together.

Faithlife Study Bible. I downloaded this Bible for quite sometime now but opened it for the first time this morning. I have been reading the Bible extensively these days, COVID-19, but still have difficulty understanding some passages. For this reason, I decided to search for another Bible and found I already purchased this. I observed it has many features, but what stands out most is the perfect juxtaposition of the text and the commentary. Does this mean that my problems are over? I can’t believe it is for free either. Just by looking at how John 3:16 is explained, I tapped on App Store to rate and pay any amount and was surprised to see that this magnificent Bible is free. Thank you.

Faithlife study Bible. It's a good study Bible, especially since it's free.

App collects All “Feedback”. In the app Settings, there is an item called “Send Feedback”. It gives three options: (1) All, (2) Anonymous, and (3) None. However, if you choose, None, then exit Settings, then tap Sync your data (also in app Settings), then go back into Settings to check, you will find that Send Feedback has reset itself to All. Hoping this deceptive bug gets squashed soon!

Excellent Quick Reference. Compact yet powerful & insightful.

Fine. I like it because it is one of the few places where I can access the Revised English Bible. When reading a Biblical text it indicates what translation I’m using as I’m reading. Very useful.

Decent app, terrible update. The newest update destroyed screen real estate. The split screen option now uses up more than half the screen in menus when you tap. Maybe they're trying to push towards the tab browsing, but don't cripple those of us that prefer split screen. I downgraded to the previous version rather than use this update.

Brilliant Study Bible. Excellent app with amazing design. The split screen with bible on top and references on bottom makes studying the bible easier.

Servant. I've been using this app a lot to keep a prayer list and find it very helpful for that. I like that it ties in with my logos software. I'm looking forward to exploring the many other functions of the app

Great commentary. I really enjoy the commentary of the FaithLife Study Bible. It is quite comprehensive and easy to understand.

The best yet. I have probably tried every bible on the store and this is the best yet. I especially like having the study notes on the same screen, but bellow, the bible text. There are many other benefits that set it apart!

Thanks for a great app. It isn't replacing my paper bible, but it is accessible at times when I don't have it. There are more times and places in the day when I can use it. If there was a bible app with hashtags... That would be a great way of hooking together notes and thoughts!

Best study platform. This is one of the best study platforms with exciting resources that provide you relevant info. as you study the word.

Faithlife bible study. The Lexham English bible version is good. The commentary helps me when I try to understand the message the writer is giving. On difficult passages I am able to follow the commentary and then I begin to see the message the writer wants me to see.

Great app. This is a great app for reading the bible. It has a commentary section that helps to understand the passages. It also allows you to buy whatever translation of the bible that you want although it includes a NIV version to start for free. I have yet to pay extra to see another version of the bible but I do plan on doing this. I find that sometimes on my iPhone 6 the commentary does not always perfectly align with the passages but it is much better on my iPad.

Very helpful and user friendly. I found this app to be very good, it has a lot of different bibles to study from, you can display the explanation of the verse below which helps a lot, and u can take notes as well. Totally recommended!

Missing KJV. Without the King James Version you don't have the true word of God. The other versions are missing verses or simply wrong doctrine.

Have a question. Do we have to be apart of the community or can we study the Bible on our own, any one know? I am giving it a third star because this is my first time on it and I haven't yet registered because there are something's I need an understanding on first.

Best Bible Study App Ever. This is by far the best bible study app I've used. It is a must-have to any serious Bible student.

Excellent Depiction of the Bible. Translation of languages is something God is very good at, after all He did change the languages of the people at the Tower of Babel, which means “ to speak nonsense”. When someone speaks a completely different language, it sounds like “babbling on” or “to Babel on about something”. God also speaks about the gift of tongues, which is given to “specific “ and also ”in a transcultural matter” to place on specific people. This in not a bad thing, consider it, a different kind of art style. A potter making jars compared to artisan creating a temple for God and cherubim made of gold with the art in between. The potter does not know how to make golden statues and the goldsmith cannot make a jar as beautifully as the potter. This is the beauty and diversity of God. Do not underestimate Him! He is the originator of beauty. It is beautiful that Jesus died and took the sins of the lying, thieving, adulterous, blasphemous ( using gods holy name as a cuss word) all of our filth, took it on himself past, present and future ( perfect tense) and literally raised from the grave Hebrew “ Sheol “ Greek “Abyss” angelic Greek “Tartarus” and back to life. Ascending like Elijah and bring down the Holy Spirit “Hebrew: Yahweh ( God as One: Personal) (Elohim: Two or more; “Elohim in the council of elohim..”Palms 82-84) Hebrew: Ruach/ Wind/breath/ spirit/ movement by/active/ invisible/ sensus divinitus ” and share him with us. As you can see, I am no scholar, but A bible is a the clearest form of Gods Word! Enjoy it and be transformed to his likeness “ “image” “ intended” “justified” “ sanctified” “glorified” “adoption” “inheritance” “family” “kingdom” This is the gift of a good bible, to see Jesus in a way like never before!

Good. Faith life is good, great even, I use it during study and mirror it on Apple TV so everyone can see it. Extra bibles are a bit pricey though, which is the only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars.

Missing Scripture. Don’t use this app they have removed scripture. Go look at Matthew 18:11. It isn’t there. If they have done it with one verse there are likely others. I’ve deleted the App because they are changing the word of God. This extraordinary little tidbit has been removed: 11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

Super App. Very nice interface. One request is to have text to speech on all resources for people who have accessibility constraints.

Amazing!. I love having this app as l can access God’s Word when l don’t have my Bible with me. I prefer having my Bible in my hands but this app steps right in when l don’t have mine with me. I love it!

Site review. I find this site hard to navigate through, cannot always get back to home page and previous scripture. Very helpful explaining scripture though.

Functionality. I like it’s explanation and breakdowns but Not user friendly. Hard to navigate or how to properly use. (Note I am still new to it)

My favorite Bible study app. This app is an awesome way to grow in your walk with God and apply the word to your life and schedule.

Love it!. This is my go to Bible app. I love the update. Still waiting for an integrated multiple verse copy feature.

Mixed feelings. I wish that it didn’t cost so much for other bible. And the free bible version is not a common translation. Following service is ok but the tab at the bottom is to small. My IPAD wants to open its menu not the program tab.

Make the text not move when the header/footer appear/disappear. The text jumps up and down when the header/footer appear and disappear. This makes me lose my place if I accidentally tap the screen and either dismiss the header/footer or summon them back

Commentary tied to scripture on one page. I like the benefit of having the commentary under the scriptures all on one page on phone. So convenient.

A great study Bible. This is a remarkable tool, and it keeps on growing and expanding. Though I wouldn’t agree with every not. It is a great tool. The mechanic version is pretty good too! And did I forget to say, it’s free?!

Study notes. Having the Bible with the study notes and bible side by side helps me so much! It is wonderful a wonderful tool for deeper understanding!

Amazing Study Bible. Very readable translation with an abundance of notes. Notes are primarily concerned with the text without picking a favorite as far as denominations or particular theological framework.

Scrolling Issues. On the iPad, I'm having difficulty getting the notes to the study Bible to scroll with the text. This was not a problem with the prior version.

Back in The Word. This app is very simple to use and immensely helpful. I particularly like the notes that allow me to go deeper into the context of scripture, allowing me to connect passages.
