Life and Ministry Workbook and Watcher missing in Meeting tab. Before I begin, I must thank you brothers for all your hard work. It must be so difficult to keep up with the demands in these reviews. But you all are doing such a terrific job. I have an IPad Pro with the latest IOS update. When I select the Meeting tab the workbook icon is missing as well as the watchtower icon is missing. I cannot access the publication info thru the meeting tab. I have the current workbook downloaded thru the library tab. Also, on the home page, I cannot access the daily scriptures even though I have it downloaded. It currently says “Welcome” and underneath it states “download”. I’d truly appreciate any help with this issue. Hopefully I was able to explain my issue to give some sort of direction. May Jehovah continue blessing all your hard work.

Literally so encouraging. This app is great for meeting, and as an 11 year old (minor) I love watching Caleb and Sofia videos, and I like watching whiteboard animations, I like what’s in the teenagers and the kids sections, and I love the original songs, they are so nice. I love studying and it’s so much easier when you can have everything downloaded at the click of a button, and as a minor I haven’t gotten baptized yet and the teach us book is what I’m currently studying to work towards my goal, I’m glad that I can study it whenever I have time. I love making Jehovah happy, and learning how to be his friend. And I love studying the watchtower, and the experiences of others. Jehovah has strengthened me so much and I’m so glad that he’s my friend, and just today I told some girls at school about my religion. This app truly is a blessing from Jehovah, and it makes meetings and service so easy, we haven’t had door to door service as there’s Covid right now. But we can still do service using zoom, Jehovah has really helped me get through these hard times. With love and care, Andrea

Reminders would be great!. If you’re like me I struggle with the “Martha complex” as I call it. I am anxious about many things. I have had to put an alert on my phone to remind me to read my Bible. And today I thought; what if there was a built in Bible reading schedule in Jw library?! Sure we have the paper copy, but a digital one would be even better because of alerts. It would say: “reminder: read 2 Samuel chapter 7 tonight” Or “ resume your reading of 2 Samuel chapter 7 tonight” I’d schedule my alert to remind me at 8pm when the child has gone to bed. Maybe we’d have to click “complete” before it moves to the next chapter. Or maybe it’d just know that I left off at a certain verse and the next day it’d tell me “resume reading 2 Samuel chapter 7 verse 7.” Satan has made the world so busy, the streets are busy and our minds are busy too. That’s why I live by my reminders and calendars. I’d love to see this added one day.

VoiceOver Accessibility. My brothers. Thank you so very much for all the work you do. This is undoubtedly the most wonderful study tool ever! I appreciatea as a person who is blind, the alt text, organization of all the tabs, the way that we can create notes, and how simple it is now to add tags on our notes without creating new ones accidentally. My brothers, I was exploring on how to replace and remove bookmarks as a VoiceOver user, and I wasn't able to remove or replace them. When I click the bookmark, it takes me to the place I had it at, which, it should. :) But when I long-pressed the bookmark so as to remove it, I wasn't able to. All in all, it's truly a wonderful study tool, and it's been great being able to read all the publications independently. Thank you very much for all you do. Sending much love!

Thank you brothers and sisters, i'm 12 and my names Brennon, but this helps a lot with the bible and i can easily access the bible, i can also make comments and notes and i can know where they are at in the lesson, so thank you very much!!! With the coronavirus and quarantine going on, i hope you guys are ok, and if any loved ones are sick i hope they can feel better, it is a big blessing to be able to attend meetings and have meetings even during these rough times, hope you are ok and healthy! :D 😷😷😷 Also, i have a idea for caleb and sofia video, because some people have have only one parent that is serving jehovah, and it could encourage some people who have the same thing that is happening, and they might be happier and get encouraged to keep doing good in serving jehovah. Its hard to only have one parents who's serving jehovah. If you read this thanks! Request for Audio Playlist. I spend 20 hours a week on the road, mostly commuting to work. I would like to spend the majority of this time listening to specific chapters of the Bible, books, articles, or the content for the weekly meetings. However, it is illegal, and dangerous, to touch my phone while driving. I have tried to figure out ways of creating a preset playlist that can be started prior to the start of my drive or via voice command, but without success. I enjoy the magazine podcasts and the Bible reading. But I’m not able to target these to match my specific spiritual needs each day. As a result, after a few chapters or articles, I find myself switching to the radio. Could you look into adding a programable audio playlist feature? And an additional preset playlist for listening to the content of the weekly meetings would be especially awesome. Thank you.

What a Blessing. I love this app as well as all the spiritual food provided on it. There are a few things about the app functionality I wish were included. I would love to have much more bookmark options so I can save as many scriptures as I want. I also wish that I could have an account so that if I need to offload the app or upload it on a new device that all of my hi-lighting, notes, bookmarks, downloaded content, etc. would be saved and available again. Third, I have an iPad and Apple Pencil... I wish so so sooo badly that I could free hand write on my watchtowers and all other study material. I used to write in all the margins of my publications growing up as a kid into an adult, but now that everything is digital that is something I can no longer do. I want to prepare and write down thoughts and scriptures and have it all saved in the same place. It would make keeping up with my study and preparing comments easier for me, I struggle. Thank you so much brothers for working so hard to distribute Jehovahs food.

Playlists & Notes…& Crashes 💥. As always, the benefits of this app far outnumber any issues with using it. However, lately, my app has been crashing multiple times. This makes personal study and meeting preparation more difficult. My patience sure was tested during convention as I did my best to catch up when all of the crashes continued both on my iPad and my iPhone. 🥴🤭 The crashes seemed to happen more frequently as I was following a link to a scripture and then highlighting that scripture and making a note. I tried backing up the app on my phone and then sharing to my iPad since the crashes seemed more frequent on my phone…only to lose a whole day of notes from the convention in the process. 🤦‍♀️ Thankfully, I live in an area that made it possible for me to make up that day and take notes again! 🥳 The playlist feature has made listening to original songs and morning worship programs so much easier! 🎶🎼🎥No more searching through favorites and playing one thing at a time!! 🎉I never had a problem with the app crashing before the playlist feature was added. Could it be related? I am exceedingly grateful for this feature and I know that bugs will occur and that they will be worked out. I thank you all for the hard work involved in developing the software that makes our daily lives more enjoyable in these times that we live.

I love this. I’m 11 years old and just have to say. Thank you so much brothers and sisters for this great app! I love it so much especially during the pandemic it so much encouragement and helps you learn about Jehovah! Plus I love all the music videos and the whiteboard animation series and also helps you to make better choices in your life to serve Jehovah! It has everything we need from kids to teens to young adults too families it is so great! I really love the spiritual food we get from this and they have gotten so many videos made, because when I was really little we only had 2 Caleb and Sofia video and now there are so many more and they are so helpful! Five stars for sure! I really hope someday I can be like the brothers and sisters in the examples they have, because they love Jehovah! And one last thing, I love the daily texts and broadcasts another great way to find spiritual enrichment! Thank you brothers and sisters so much from the bottom of my heart! Amazing App. We love all the publications at our fingertips. We are so spoiled with this app not having to search hard for a certain book or publication. One thing we would love in the new updates is a “Download All” feature. With each update our downloads of all the children songs, Caleb and Sophia Videos, Original Songs and more are gone and need to be downloaded again. There are so many, which is wonderful! But a bit time consuming to selected download and then download size for each individual one. A “Download All” button would be extremely helpful for those who don’t have internet and only have a short period of time to get the videos downloaded to their device again. Thank you for letting us share our idea. We love this blessing from Jehovah.

The Best App - Thank you so much for all your hard work and sacrifice. This App is the best for Deep Bible learning. Handy and easy to navigate. The best part I like is maps and pictures included, which helps me to visualize better. Picture impress on my mind so deeply and that helps to meditate later on what I read in foot notes and publications. Taking notes is my dream come true feature. That helps me to organize my notes in one place. Thank you so much Brothers and Sisters for all your hard work. One help I need is while transferring the personal study notes to one device to other one, instead of replacing the notes if possible please can you merge them. I don’t know anything about technology. I don’t know whether this is dumb question but just wanted to let you know. Thank you so much for your self sacrificing spirit Brothers and Sisters.

Thank you for all your hard work brothers!. I love this app so much... It helps me in my everyday life and makes studying easier for me since I use my phone a lot. I love how easy it is to access everything from the menu at the bottom and I’m sure this took you all a while to make so I’m very thankful. I have this little issue but I’m not sure why and it’s that when I highlight the magazine or the book and the Bible or just other publications that you all kindly upload here the magnifying glass doesn’t show up.... I’ve had this issue for a bit now and don’t know how to fix it. The issue doesn’t affect me much but the magnifying glass makes it easier to highlight a certain text. Thank you brothers for all your hard work and I’m sure Jehovah is very happy with you all when he sees all the hard work you all have been doing and still continue to do! Personal Study Tags Are No Longer Alphabeticed. Love this app, but for the past several weeks, i’ve noticed that when I add a note to a scripture and then try to tag it with one of the tag names I have created, the list is no longer alphabetized. I have close to 100 tags on various subjects and research points and having to scroll through the little box that pops up and trying to find the one tag that I want to apply to a scripture is now tedious and long. I also can no longer scroll and change the order of my tags within a subject. I have numerous scriptures under a tag Why Do We Suffer, but I like them in a certain order, so I can flow from one to the next. It will temporarily move the scripture in the order that I want, but it won't stay. It automatically goes back to it's original order or it causes the app to crash. The strange thing is, this doesn’t happen in all my tags- just some of them.

New Update BUGGY!!!. Hello brother’s! Thank you for your hard work on the app! It’s a blessing from Jehovah. Keep up the fine work! I have noticed since the last update, the app has been extremely buggy on iOS for iPad..I have a 2022 iPad Pro 11”. After the update, whenever I download the latest original song, I am unable to select and other original song to play. I have to unload the newest song to listen to the rest. Also, I am noticing when making notes on highlights, it will often close the window, move to the previous highlighted note and erase what I previously wrote, or not even save what I’ve written all together. These things will happen whether I use Apple Pencil, the onscreen keyboard, or the bluetooth keyboard. I close the app down and restart the app but it doesn’t fix the issue. Feel free message back if you need diagnostic information. Thank you again for you excellent work and may Jehovah continue to bless your efforts!

I love it so much. I am a girl who’s 12 about to turn 13 I’m mexican american and this is my absolute favorite app! i use it for the meeting,preaching,my personal study and im sharing it with my friends so that they can learn about jehova and so far they all seem very interested. This app makes me so happy! I love being able to read the bible and study. My favorite are the songs they make me so happy when I listen to them. I’m so eternally thankful for everyone that helped made this app! It makes me so happy to watch the Caleb and Sofia videos (I mainly watch them and read the bible in spanish) I enjoy reading the book “Nos Enseña” I am currently reading it with my aunt and it’s very easy to understand and i love that because usually it’s really hard for me to comprehend things but the app has made everything so easy to understand it’s incredible!!💖 I 100% recommend down loading it! it’s very helpful and i’m glad to be announcing the word of Jehova and Jesus! My mom isn’t jehovas wittiness but i’m trying to teach her and her side of the family more about him and get them to study more often. I hope I make jehova proud

My Go To For Spiritual Content. The JW Library App is where I go to for spiritual content. I definitely find it to be a valuable source for spiritual food. With that said. I just have one recommendation. Can you make it possible to have an automatic feature available to where a daily scripture from the app, like from the booklet Examining The Scriptures Daily, or The Bible is automatically display each day, like on the “locked screen” or“Home Screen” of our device? Or can you have a feature where it can be setup to be displayed automatically on any other convenient place on our phone or device automatically each day like as an automated reminder or pop up? I asked because it has been brought to my attention from other people that I have shared our App with in the ministry and it’s been shown to me that other Bible Apps are equipped with this feature. And honestly in today’s active and busy world there are so many things that via, distract, and grab for our attention. It would be nice to have that automatic display feature that can be activated so that spiritual things can be one of the things that pops up for us each day. If you could add this one feature I personally feel the App would be even better. And even more widely used. Especially by those who are not already JW’s Thank you,🙏🏽

The best Bible Reading App you will find!!!. This app provides multiple translations you can compare side by side. The new world translation included is the most amazing translation. It is in English that you can understand and not feel like you need a dictionary every other word. It puts God’s person name we’re it originally was in the oldest found copies of the Bible. This is amazing since the replacement of his name with titles has completely confused the identities of who God and Jesus Christ really are and hidden a name that God wanted used in worship. The app has much more than the translations of the Bible however. It has publications, videos, music, etc.. for everyone. Children, teens, adults, parents, and older people. If you haven’t downloaded this app, do it. You don’t have to be part of any religion to love this app. It has information that will help you no matter what you are going through. It is amazing!!!!!

Amazing!. This app is an excelent tool, it makes the study a lot easier. The developers have worked hard to end up with such a great app, in my last review I was asking about taking notes, now we got it, thanks brother for the hard work. I have no tablet, just an iPhone, I have a study that can’t see unles a very big display. I use hdmi cable with an adapter so he can read the publications on his tv, but I can’t use JW app because all it shows on the screen is the text of the year. So offline I have to use ibook or good reader. Is there a way that we can have an option to see not only videos but also read the Bible and other publications on a tv screen. I know brothers you work very hard to keep the app running, and you are helping millions of brothers with this app. you realy are making Jehovah’s heart happy. once again: thank you for the best app Ihave on my iphone.

Incredible quality app and invaluable tool. You’ve addressed and improved all the pain points over the years and I am so proud of all the work you do to keep Jehovah’s people spiritually nourished. I am so thankful to finally have JW Library on my Mac as I can now use it for Congregation audio and video assignments. My only suggestion is I hope that you can add a way to sync all versions of my JW Library app on my iPhone, iPad, and Mac through iCloud or a similar service. Many apps which support various Apple devices implemented this successfully so hopefully it’s something you will consider doing. Finally, more of a wish at this point but it would be cool to have the daily text show up on my Apple Watch. Thanks again for doing this invaluable work for Jehovah and may he bless you and your efforts.

Best app ever!!. Hello brothers, JW Library App is truly incredible, and it only gets better! Thanks for all of your hard work! I can’t imagine how hard it is just to make an app like this but then to make it available in over 1000 languages is amazing! Only Jehovah could make that possible! I’m looking forward to the app getting even better over time. One issue I am experiencing is that, when I am studying and underlining it freezes. I have keep trying to tap to get it going or close it and reopen. The last time this happened, it highlighted a color on the whole page. I had to delete the highlight but then it erased all of the underlining I had done the previous week too. This is happening on my iPad Pro 1st Gen and my wife has the same iPad and the same issue. I will pray you can are able to get this resolved but I know it must be difficult with so many different devices, each with their own unique set of issues. We thank you for all of your hard work and we love you for all you do for the worldwide brotherhood!

An Idea!. Thank you so much brothers and sisters working so hard! It’s so appreciated! The video’s are remarkable! I have one small idea about the Caleb and Sofia videos if you don’t mind! Some children may only have one parent in the truth, and, like me, I am fortunate to be able to have both parents in the truth, but, some children might not. I find so much encouragement in the videos like so many, but some children who only have one parent in the truth, might not feel the same way. Some might feel a little down, wishing that they had both of their parents with them. I’m not implying to change Sofia and Caleb, but make maybe making a different version of them, or new characters, so that children who do not have both parents in the truth can get the full experience! I understand if what I’m asking is a bit much! That’s okay! It an idea! I just wanted to inform you wonderful brothers and sister an idea of mine! Keep up the beautifully wonderful work you are doing!

Great App, Would Love Additional Favorites/Bookmark Accessibility. Thank you brothers for your hard work on what is really a tremendous app :). I use it several times a day and it’s easily my most used app and I don’t have any complaints. I do however want to make an enhancement request: In the iOS app, I can press and hold some of the icons at the bottom and a relevant “History” list will come up. I love this. Would it be possible to add another tab, such as “Favorites” with a favorites list, or “Bookmarks” that displays a bookmarks list, or both? Maybe even a “Reading List” for items I want to read or listen to later... The layout could be similar to iOS Safari web browser where they have three tabs/options at the top... Anyway, again I have no complaints and love the app. Thanks for all your hard work for us, Jehovah and Jesus. What a privilege to help dispense so much important spiritual food... Love & much appreciation. 2022 - Brothers, I still love having the library at our fingertips. I’m hoping that being able to open our Bible in a split screen style would be helpful. Sometimes you want the Watchtower open but you want to look at an auxiliary scripture that isn’t listed but you can’t unless you leave the Watchtower or book and open your Bible. I hope you like this idea and that I explained it clearly. Thank you to Jehovah & his loving organization for making our lives easier by giving the spiritual food right at our fingertips. No excuses of not having our study materials available. I LOVE the introduction to God's word section, perfect for service. Not to be ungrateful but I would like to be able to underline or make notes in the Bible on-line, it is nice for the Bible highlights portion of the meeting. Thank you so much to all the Brothers who labored to make this possible, Jehovah has blessed their efforts & given us what we need. Update!! I love being able to underline! Search help. My brother your work is amazing and Jehovah blesses you with a wonderful mind. If I may only ask, for us that are deficient in spelling, if possible and it’s not to much to ask, can you please add a spell check and a feature that brings out words in the search engine under topics as we input letter for our search. It is very hard to spell some biblical words to do search on and if you added a feature that brings words up, we could just select that word without having to know how to spell it. Let say, I type in “Je” it would bring up Jehovah, Jesus and Jeroboam, etc., and I could select which one I am doing a search on. I know I am asking for a lot but it’s not just for me but for all those whom are deficient in spelling including I. Before hand I thank you for such wonderful contribution to strengthen us spiritually. Crashing 😕. Hello, I am just writing to let you all know that there maybe something wrong with the app and the latest iOS update. Before the most recent updates on both ends the jw app was working pretty smoothly. But as of late I am not sure if a bug crept in. Between yesterday and today the app crashed on me twice. I thought maybe it was my phone but it is brand new. So I just wanted you all to be aware of this Incase others are experiencing the same problem. Thanks so much for all your hard work. Update: thank you for the latest update! This has helped so much. However, there is still a glitch of some sort. When playing the kingdom melodies or original songs after 2-3 songs the app crashes. Also the toggle bar at the bottom seems to be stuck for some reason. I thank you for all of your hard work once again brothers. 👍🏾

Maybe a little bug, maybe just me. So grateful, and I’m not sure if others are also experiencing this. But when using a phone (smaller, no split screen) and I open a gem in the study pane I lose the ability to go back to the study pane for other verses. I can go back to the publication but taping the purple gem in bottom right takes me back only to that verses references. I found a work around and have to select a different verse, choose the gem icon from that pop up menu and go into the references for that verse, then the little sub arrow appears to take me back to the study pane. It’s a minor inconvenience but definitely I know not the way it’s intended. Along those lines, something that would be so useful is to be able to swipe back (left) to the gems page from reading in the Research Guide. The swipe gesture goes straight back to the Bible or publication. It would be very useful to first return to the study pane and then another swipe take you back to the publication. It’s such a touchscreen habit to return to the previous page with a swipe that I forget to use the arrow and now that the arrow is disappearing it’s been slightly frustrating during personal study. Thank you for the constant hard work on this amazing program!

New Idea. It would be very cool if, for example, I could do this: when I open a publication, I can draw and make notes on the publication itself as on a printed version. I assume that the owners of the iPad and Apple Pencil (and in general, no matter what stylus you have) would like to have such a function. For example, at the top right, you can add a button, say "edit". I press it, and then I can draw something in a circle, make some notes in the text itself, if, for example, I am in a foreign language congregation, I can write a translation of some words right in the text, add some thoughts (of course there are Notes) but on the text itself, writing like on paper will be very very very convenient. I really hope that the developers will at least think about it. Many thanks!

Absolutely love this app…... ….there have been some annoying problems. Thank Jehovah for the wonderful convention on patience. I’ve been having problems with the app crashing. I’m in the middle of taking notes during a meeting, personal study, or just listening to the Bible reading and then it crashes. Also, the items in my favorites seem to duplicate itself and rearrange itself. I try to put things in the order that I need it to be in and, next thing you know, it’s back to being completely disorganized. We all know that Jehovah’s Witnesses are the most organized people in the world. So having things disorganized can mess with one’s patience….especially for someone like me with mild ADD. One more thing…. I have so many books. But I don’t have space for them in my house so I rely on the books in the app for information. Some of the books have charts that I’d love to be able to view on my iPad, but can’t. We were just looking up the prophecies about the Messiah. The digital “All Scriptures” book had the [chart] or timeline we were looking for, but with no way to view it. Will there be a way to view that chart and similar charts or maps like that in the future? I greatly appreciate all the hard work and self-sacrificing love from my brothers and sisters. I will have eternity to meet you all soon.

Thank you. We want to thank you for this loving tool we have. JW Library has been a true blessing from Jehovah. We want to thank the hard work and dedication to the governing body and the IT department that keeps giving us the best experience for use in the ministry, meetings and personal study. I did want to say that my wives iPhone 7 Plus has been having an issue. For some reason not all the publications that I have access to (iPad mini 3) in Spanish can be seen on her phone. Almost as if there was a “limited” app she was running. We have tried everything but can’t seem to figure it out. She can’t even download the publications for the midweek meeting or the weekend meeting. Again, we want to thank you for your hard work and know that Jehovah will keep blessing your hard work to help us have the spiritual food we so need.

Absolutely Awesome App. Highly recommend this app. It is the best app for Bible research, everything is carefully researched references are spot on. The readability is so absolutely awesome it is simply fantastic to READ because you can actually understand what you are reading! The video introduction to each book of the Bible is priceless it really helps you to understand what you reading about. The cross-references in the Bible are so helpful, so as to help understand difficult scriptures. The multiple Bibles is absolutely fantastic, for comparison and the sheer amount of different languages is mind boggling, so awesome. And so many videos, in so many different languages is fantastic! AND BEST OF ALL ABSOLUTELY NO ADDS WHATSOEVER! AND NO ASKING FOR MONEY FOR ANYTHING! IT’S ONLY ABOUT THE BIBLE! if you find adds or asking for money it is a counterfeit app! Delete it and look for the official JW Library app by Jehovah’s Whitness’s. Thanks for all the hard work and and the massive amount of research, time and patience and especially love that went into this app. And especially all the effort to keep it up to date! It truly is a wonderful praise to our great God Jehovah the author of the Bible 2 Tim 3:16.

Can you please make a video where celeb and sofia find a really pretty flower and they both want it because its special so they start fighting over it and celeb says “no sofia its mine give it back!!!” sofia said to celeb: “no its mine i found it first!” They’re mom comes and says” whats going on?” Celeb is sad and says “sofia took my pretty flower to give to you!” “No celeb took MY flower to give to you!!” Their dad comes and says “guys, guys, why are you fighting over a flower saying it is both yours? jehovah created all things including this beautiful flower for us to enjoy, not fight over!” celeb and sofia both look at each other and go to talk. when they are done talking they both hold the flower together and smile and hand it up to they’re mom and they say “here mom we both have a flower to give to you!” mom says “aww it is so pretty thank you guys!” dad says “good job kids!” So you could add to that if you want and maybe you could connect a scripture to that for people tp read! I bet there is a good scripture to connect to this. ok i will wait for it and look forward to it 😉

Thank you but please update. This is a wonderful app I am thankful for, but please update the tracking and syncing functionality. It would be great to have the app sync when moving between devices like from your iphone to your ipad so you don't have to double download languages and versions. Also, the progress tracking for Live Forever. It would be great to have a check mark system of some kind when viewing from the sections pages if you coupd see which lessons you have completed from there rather than having to go into each lesson and scrolling to the bottom and if it could sync that between devices on the same account. Over all this app is an incredible accomplishment and asset to anyone interested in the bible and I thank all that have contributed to it's existence especially Brother Charlie in Prescott, AZ for sharing it with me and teaching me.

Wonderful Bible study app. Things I would love to see or be improved/fixed:. Great app for studying the Bible with many additional readings like books and articles that can be used in conjunction which whatever Bible you choose, as they have cited scriptures that should be looked up. I love how you can highlight, bookmark, and make notes. I love to use the notes to mark scriptures to teach about a certain topic. What I would love to see: I would love to be able to link scriptures in the notes that I make. Right now, I just type it into the notes but I would love some form of hyperlink; I think it would make informal witnessing more efficient and easier for studying. I also would love to see a preview of the cited / noted scripture so I don’t have to click on it to see what it is, that way I think it would be easier too for preaching and studying (I organize mine by Bible truths). Bugs: When I rearrange my notes with tags, it does rearrange but when I go back into it, it goes back to the previous order. I would love for this to be fixed so I can organize my notes. I should note I am on an IPad Pro 1st generation. Thank you for this wonderful spiritual provision during the last days, we truly are being well cared for spiritually by Jehovah and the direction of his son with so much content we can enjoy right at our fingertips (Eze 47:5,9)!

Thank you so much!!! Original Plum purple Please 😊. Thank you brothers and sisters for all your hard work!! Is it possible to bring back the original plum purple with the red hue? My friend and I were nearly in tears when we first got the long desired PURPLE purple!! We both felt it was an unexpected over the top surprise gift from Jehovah to have purple to highlight with! I used it all the time! So I am a bit sad to see it change in hue to more of a nearly blue grey range. Is it possible to bring it back to the original hue? If not no problem. Just thought I’d ask. ☺️ 💜 This app has been and will still be a vital part of my day everyday helping me stay close to Jehovah and his organization. I love discovering all the useful features with studying like highlighting to define a word. This is especially helpful for studying in foreign languages. Thank you again!

Problems after Playlist introduced. I love this app and use it daily. However, since the introduction of the Playlist feature, the app has slowed down. It is difficult to make notes or tags. I have to wait for it to catch up. I can now only make Tags next to an article but not in Personal Notes. It takes a minute or longer to make a Tag next to an article now. It is so slow now that I have had to back up my IPad, restore the back up to my phone, then create the Tag on my phone (since my phone is able to handle it), back up my phone, and then restore back to my iPad. Since I do all my personal study on the IPad, this is now a tedious chore. It takes so much time. I made Playlists but then deleted them hoping that it would free up the notes section again. I have many Tags. Perhaps I need to delete some to make this work again the way that it did? My iPad is 2017, 5th generation. My phone is SE. I am sure the bugs will get worked out, so I am patiently waiting. But I thought I should let you know so you can be aware of the situation. Perhaps the Playlists need to have their own spot rather than put in Personal Notes section? Thank you for all you do!

Update issues, but still remarkable. Hello, brothers. I love this app and I thank you a lot for your effort and work put into it. The only trouble I’m having right now is that the latest revision of the New World Translation that was recently published in Spanish still hasn’t appeared in my app to update or download. I’m aware of other brothers and sisters using it on their phones and tablets, but for some reason the latest version won’t appear in my app (I have an iPhone SE, I’m not sure if other SE users may be experiencing the same difficulties, but the iPhone 5G has no problem with it). Also another issue I’ve had is that initially I thought that maybe I needed to just delete the app and install it again to see if that would do the trick, well it just made me loose everything I had downloaded before (which I was aware that would happen), but then it took the app about a week for the Activity guide and the Watchtower Study magazine to reappear in the Meetings section. I hope that you can read this soon, and I’m more than sure that you’ve had this issue sent before, and must be working hard on it. Thank you very much for so much agape love!

This app is awsome🥰. This app is a blessing from Jehovah I’m 11 years old and I will recommend this app 1 million stars if they had that many. This app helps me in service and when I do t want to clean my room there are videos that that show me that God is a verry organized person and has a place for everything like where the water is and land and there the animals live like in their habitats. The videos for kids are short but super effective. I love this app so much. I can study the Bible from it and also study other things like Moses, Jesus, Samuel, and sooo much more. I can also search things up if I want to help a friend at school. I can search up death if they are sad because they lost a dead loved one. I can then see so many scriptures and watchtowers that all are comforting and then the next day I know what to say that will help my friend. And when I get sad, this app saves me. I can look up things, read things, watch movies on bible characters, and just so much more. I think that every one should use and have this app. It has truly made me a better person on my viewpoint of things.🥰🥰🥰

Update Issues iOS 13.1. I enjoy this app so much. However with the recent iOS update to 13.1, there are issues with the Accessability feature Invert for those with low vision. I do not have low vision but my Bible student does. I prefer to use the Invert feature myself with a darker reading background. Since the new update, and Invert/Smart Invert is switched on, majority of the text is blank on the screen/app. If I highlight text with Invert off, then turn Invert on only the highlighted text is visible. Everything else not highlighted is BLANK. When Invert is turned off, the text is visible. Also with Invert turned on the pictures are turned into negative film, verses the picture being true to its color (normal looking photo) like it has in the past to view a normal looking photo with the dark background and white text. If accessability features, especially the Invert feature, can be fixed, it would be much appreciated. If there was an option to read in a “light” or “dark” mode, that would be wonderful to not have to turn on the Accessability shortcut. Other than that, this app is a wonderful tool to keeping up with the meetings and spiritual learning. Thank you for all that you do!

Great job brothers in creating this app.. Easy to use and it keeps getting better. I had an issue either with my iPad or an update. A couple of weeks ago when I opened the app the icons on the home page started flashing as if they were loading information or something like that. When I went to the Bible page and checked for downloads it showed that I had 1188 audio files to download, which is the same number as I already have downloaded. It also doesn’t show that I have any data files downloaded, or that I need to download them. Then In the library tab under pending downloads there were a number of random publications that needed to be downloaded or updated. Not sure what’s happening. If possible could you please let me know if it’s the app or if I need to download the app again.

Great for Personal Study!. The features that this app has are astounding. Not only can you read the Bible, but you can cross reference between various translations! The app is regularly updated with the latest news and publications available. I like that you have the option to stream vs. download all of the music and videos. The ability to take notes and create tags to organize those notes specifically is amazing for personal study! I love being able to quickly highlight what I’m referencing and then to be able to easily find my notes by searching the corresponding tag(s). My only suggestion: I would like to be able to access everything I have saved/noted/etc. across multiple devices. If I’m on my phone, I’d like to access notes I’ve made on my tablet and vice versa. Thank you for continuing to make this app a GREAT one!!

Thanks to Jehovah for this app. Hello brothers, Jehovah bless you all for the incredible work you have done with this application. This is by far my favorite application. I would like to ask for a function that may be possible in future revisions, and that is the possibility of transferring all the data when we update an iPhone or iPad. The thing is that when I update my device, even if I transfer all my data to the new device, I have to redownload all the publications I already had downloaded to the previous device one by one. Perhaps, if you could have the function of transferring all the publications already downloaded to the new device. Or perhaps another function could be that in the year of publication you could directly have the option of being able to download all the publications of that year at once instead of having to download them one by one. Absolutely the BEST!!. I use this app every single day, and I’m soo very grateful that Jehovah helps us to be able to draw closer to him using this technology. I love it! Thank you brothers and sisters for all of your hard work in creating this app and for adding new features all the time. There’s only one thing that it hasn’t been doing correctly for the past five months or so, and that is updating any videos that have been modified or changed. When I go to update a video or music, it says that there is a download error. At first it says that it’s download completely, but a few seconds later it says “installation failed”. I’m guessing it’s just bug that’ll be cleared up later. Not a deal breaker or anything, because I can download the initial released videos and music just fine. But I just wanted your department to be aware of what’s happening on my end, and maybe for others too. I have OS 15.6.1 on iPhone 12 Pro Max. Amazing! Thank you so much!. My wonderful brothers! Thank you so much for the efforts that you are making in order to better this app! I absolutely love it! Especially, in my case. I am visually impaired, and I am required to use certain devices with my cell phone, or tablet in order to access certain literature. Although, I seem to be encountering some issues. For some odd reason, I am not able to access the daily text. I have already downloaded the examining the Scriptures brochure, but when I tried to click on the icon that says daily text, and then the date of the text, it doesn’t let me click on it, so that I can read the comment. I use voiceover with this application, but I don’t know if it’s a problem with the voiceover it’s self, or with the app. Thank you so much for your time! Let us all thank Jehovah that he has given all of us away to access his word!

Awesome, but one thing that I want to suggest. I love JW Library, for the meetings, bible reading, studying, and videos. It’s certainly a blessing from Jehovah. One thing that I think you could add, and I think you maybe have in the past on certain devices, but Apple and Samsung don’t have it. So, this is mostly about music videos, but could be used for other things as well: A shuffle button. The original music that you provide is amazing, but it would be nice if we could tap that shuffle button and do everyday things. Like for example, when driving, especially to meetings and service, it would be really nice to just be able to click shuffle and have random songs play for as long as you want. I don’t know if this is done in other places, but here in the middle of Wisconsin, some congregations public witness in Flea Markets, and we usually have an open tent with a table with literature on it. We also play Become Jehovah’s Friend videos on the table to attract people to the carts. A shuffle button would be pretty handy in that situation. Sure, you can just click on a video and then the videos following it will play, but especially with the songs, it’d be nice to have a way to shuffle them. So, just a suggestion, and there are others ways of doing this on different devices; I don’t know if you even look at the reviews, but if you do, there are people out in Wisconsin that might find this useful.

Such a blessing (Adding a Suggestion/Fix). This app is my daily tool; my daily driver. I could not function without it, and it's such a blessing from Jehovah. Thank you to the brothers developing the app! If I may add a suggestion for a fix. I am on an iPhone 14 Pro Max (but it happened with my iPhone 13 Pro Max as well)... when in dark mode, the scroll bar on the right side of the screen is too dark to see. This is a really, really small detail, but it does affect functionality more than you'd expect. I frequently use the scroll bar to gauge how much reading I have left, and if I'm listening to my Bible reading, by looking at the audio progress line, I can gauge where I'm at in the chapter if I get lost, subsequently dragging the scroll bar to that area of the chapter. It's a huge help in getting back on track and pacing myself. It's a small detail, but if fixed, it would not only help tremendously, but also make the app look that much more polished. Much love!

New highlight colors are a bit dull. I loved the previous bright highlight colors they made whatever I highlighted pop out at and with so much spiritual food and my ADHD brain that's a necessary thing. I don’t want to complain and I completely understand the point of improving the readability of the highlighter colors however the new ones went completely to the opposite side and became to dull...and now for me personally at least are kinda pointless. I see no difference in highlighted material and the material without highlights. No important points I highlight are catching my eye when I try to skim quickly through my study publications to locate the points I need. It all just runs together and I have to strain my eyes to find the points. Is there perhaps a shade in between what we previously had that may be too bright for some and the dull ones that were just installed last week for those that need something a little brighter? Thankfully, only my JW app on my iphone updated to the new version I still have the old version of the app on my Ipad so I still can manage to do my personal study etc on it. I definitely don’t plan on allowing my ipad to update anytime soon so I can continue using the bright highlights on it 😅

Love it, but bug still exists. Been using the app since it was released. I love it and it has only gotten better with time. Thanks to Jehovah and our loving brothers and sisters. Thank you for your hard work and time. I was looking to see where I could submit a bug report, but couldn’t… there’s a bug that is not allowing me to download the updates to videos and publications I have already downloaded. There are currently two videos needing updated, but they will not. They won’t even show me they are trying after I tapped the update button. In addition, I would like to suggest an option to the highlighting. With the release of dark mode, a couple of the colors look a little off tone, the orange and pink. The orange especially. Maybe, if possible, add a tone adjuster bar so users can edit the color to their liking and visibility. Also too, if you could bring in the option to underline (as a highlight option). Again thank you so much for the time and effort you put forth in making this app the best possible for us. It’s been such a wonderful and helpful tool.

Great Bible study companion on the go!. I use the JW app daily. All of the features including the Digital bible (including audio), daily text, videos, and music are all included! I appreciate every update made to the app. Note: My mom needs access to the app, though, as a visually impaired user. Is there a way to have a white font on black background option? Also the font size a bit larger than default? And lastly ability to access the contents in each section as a simplified list so that VI users can look down a list and select? It might help with users that are intellectually disabled as well. Maybe an accessibility capability that will allow users to customize the home screen for easy and simple access. This would help users that have screen readers as well. Thank you so much for all of your hard work my brothers!

JW Library is a huge blessing. My brothers, I love how the app makes reading the Bible easy for myself and those speaking other tongues, the quick navigation, and the amount of bible based content. Thank you so much for the fine work you’ve put into building this app. I’m always seeing updates so I’d like to request a few features: full support for Screen Mirroring and Chromecast. Currently, when I mirror the app to my Apple TV it displays the ‘JW’ logo but won’t actually mirror what publication I have on my screen -just videos. I’m also not able to locate an AirPlay icon when playing back video on my iPhone (I have to resort to Screen Mirroring for the same effect). I’m really just chasing Screen Mirroring because I sometimes like to share with others what I’m reading on the TV. There’s also times when I’d like to use a Chromecast in another room to play videos but the app doesn’t include an icon to push it through. Of course, these are just some quality of life improvements I thought of so it isn’t mission critical 😅 but I guess in my niche case it’d be nice to have. Hi brothers, thank you so much for this wonderful app. Just wondering is there any way we can have an account to login that syncs answers, tags and downloaded publications to all devices? I sometimes study on one device and take the other device to the meeting, would be awesome to have my answers synced in all devices.

Trouble with iPhone 4S. First and foremost, thank you you brothers for all the hard work in making this app better and better with each and every update...I am especially loving the new 10.0 version that supports the Study Bible, but the thing with this update is that the 'study pane' that appears on the right when you tap a scripture/hyperlink/the new floating personal study button (on my iPhone 4S) appears completely black both when you either tap the hyperlinks to an article/scripture and when I try to use the new personal study feature in the Study Bible. I've had no such problem with my tablet (iPad 2) but it happens to be reaccuring thing with my phone, even when I deleted and re-installed the entire app. Please help fix this bug for it will really be handy to have this feature available on my phone for metro and or informal witnessing

Would be lost without it. Really love the app, and have never had any trouble til the latest iOs software update, followed by the jw app update. Mid way through watching br schaffers most recent talk, I got a section of horizontal lines above the home screen button, with some distorted upside down mirroring of the screen above, inside the lines. Could be hardware issue, but just thought I’d let you know in case it’s a bug. Thanks so much for all the work!

Suggestion/Q. Hi brothers, thank you so much for your effort! It’s app is truely amazing. Quick question/suggestion: After the new colour codes took effect many notes turned grey colour. However, there is no way to switch a current note into grey. Could we add this colour please? So that we can update previous notes to this general colour. The only current work around is to delete a current note and then add it as grey and relabel.

Issue After Backup. Problems with saving highlighted text and paragraph comments fields after backup to Dropbox. Haven’t tried with other cloud services. After backing up I need to shut the app down and restart it otherwise any text I type in the paragraphs comments fields or any paragraph text I highlight won’t save. Highlights cannot be selected, colour changed or deleted in this situation. Thank you for a wonderful app. The above issue has been resolved. However a new problem has occurred since I downloaded yesterday’s update. I was doing pre-study for the Watchtower for August 3, 2025. I tried to play the video for the first sing, song 21 however only the audio played, no video. I then tried going to the Library and books and playing the video from the “Sing Out Joyfully” to Jehovah song book with the same result. I tried on a few other songs, still the same problem. Troubleshooting. Hi Brothers. I have an iPad with IOS 17.7.7 and the latest version of JW Library. Since the last JW Library update I have to accept the terms and conditions every time I open the app. I have also noticed that every video and audio file I have previously downloaded now has the download symbol next to it again. Publications seem to be all still there, it’s only media files. I hope you can help me with this problem. Thanks

I realise perhaps only a small portion of our global spiritual family are Mac users, and even smaller again being able to use the M1 chipset, and yet... here we are. Study notes are a GEM!. The recent update to the study pane with the highlights looks very nice. Is the ability to highlight the Study Bible study notes still on the To Do List? I vaguely remember reading a few years ago that this was planned; and now that work is being done on the pane, who knows ... That would be tremendous, being able to highlight the Study Bible study notes. By the way, brothers, those study notes are excellent gems, after reading them the meaning of the verses is so much clearer. THANK YOU!

Daily Text font design needs more work. Strangely, the takeaway message now is the date, it the largest feature of the daily text. I would have thought it should be the scripture? The date should be small, perhaps all caps and in a lighter font. Next, the scripture should be 2 points or more larger in a readable font, italic is OK, however the new italic, although it looks pretty, is difficult to read. It may work with a size increase. The comments section, type and size, is great :-) Thank you (Col. 3:15) for all your efforts is producing an overall excellent app!

Another idea. Hello brothers Thank you for the amazing app;Jehovah is blessing you all, you beautiful people. JW library helps us learn and teach the truth and it is ever improving. I have many notes from the Watchtowers and studies, and they are piling up. Wouldn’t it be cool if there would be a “select” function on notes so you could select them and organise them to the folders? It would make it easier than scrolling through and individually putting them each in a folder. Just an idea! Love from Australia ❤️

Highlighted reading. I love this app, its invaluable to me and I cannot express my appreciation for it enough. However, I thought I would post my question on the new update; the read paragraph is highlighted when it is on audio. ie the specific bible scripture being read on audio is highlight. Personally I find this really distracting. Am I able to turn this feature off?

Awesome app. The app truly is amazing so thankyou for the hours you brothers & sisters spend developing & maintaining the app One suggestion i have is - it would be great to make playlists for the media files E.g. - combining all the original songs, kids songs, vocals of meeting songs & etc into one playlist to listen to them all mixed together Also if possible to make it so we can download an audio file of the various videos so they could be added to the playlist & listened to without the video component

Ability to Lock Screen needed please. Thank you this wonderful provision! My son and I love watching and singing the children’s songs together. It would be helpful if we had the ability to lock the screen so little fingers don’t keep skipping, changing speeds and pausing it all the time. I use my iPads guided access setting so we don’t accidentally leave the app but it doesn’t help with the issues mentioned above. thank you for your consideration!

App crashes when trying to open after updating app to 11.6. Hello. I’ve just updated to the latest version(11.6). When I open the app, I get the message “This app is no longer shared with you. To use it, you must buy it from the App Store.” In the App Store, all I can do is open the app. I cannot redownload/purchase it. When I open it from the App Store, I get the same message as above and cannot open the app. So I’m no longer able to use/open the app. Please help. Thank you.🙂 Hello again. I’ve fixed the problem. For some reason, after downloading the updated app(11.6) from the App Store, I seemed to have the old version(11.5) still on my iPad. So when I tried to open the app, the old version(11.5) was no longer available and hence the message mentioned above. But when I went to the App Store, it recognised that 11.6 had been downloaded which is why I I was only able to “open” the app and not update it again. To fix the problem, I had to “offload” the app (NOT “delete” the app) in settings (go to ‘general’, ‘iPad storage’, and select ‘JW Library’, ‘offload app’), then re-download the app, which then updated it to latest version(11.6). Doing it this way, I was able to open and use the app again and keep all the data that was saved on the app, without loosing it. If anyone has the same issue that I had, this process will hopefully solve the problem.😀

Love it. I can barely think of new suggestions, the app has everything I need and is intuitive to use. And now we also have Notes and backups! The only thing I *can* think of is improvements for syncing between devices. For example, storing the actual app data in a shared location like Dropbox and accessing it from both tablet and phone at the same time. At the moment backup and restore come very close to this. But if I add new notes on both devices, I can’t merge them together again later.

AnotherAussieJW. Just noticed a big problem with videos accidentally being played at meetings, which seems to happen every week. Would it be a good idea to make the video links a different colour (for example) to differentiate between them & an article link? Our older ones are doing so well with the new technology but this seems to trip them ip & they don’t know how to turn them off quickly. I just wanted to make a suggestion about the videos. I often go through the videos to rewatch things or find videos to help and encourage others but for so many I am not sure how old the video is. It would be helpful to have a month and year on many of them especially things like updates from countries, legal developments, bethel tours and things like that we know when the video is from. Issues on iPad 5. Dear brothers, As always, thank you for all your hard work. I’m just hoping someone can help? We’ve downloaded the app onto my son’s new iPad (5th gen/2017 if that makes a difference) but it is having the same problems mentioned in Chartilly’s review; there are no videos and hardly any publications available for download. His brother has the same model iPad and the apps were downloaded on the same day but his is working fine. Any suggestions please? (We’re also having issues with the broadcasting app shutting down on our Apple TV if anyone can tell me how to fix that 😁)

Glitches. The last few updates have caused glitches with the progress bar when listening to audio (can’t ffwd when streaming watchtower audio etc) and when you try to play the children’s videos via “play all/shuffle” it does not work and glitches and plays the first one over and over. This is since the last two updates. Would really love these glitches to be rectified as will make it so much easier to play children’s videos on shuffle instead selecting a new one every few minutes. Thanks for all the hard work with a very extensive app.

Amazing!. Love this app as do all the brothers and sisters. Highlighting is great, do miss having ability to also underline...annotation much needed for Clam Meeting as well. Also syncing between devices like iBooks. I studied all CLAM material for a mtg on an air flight, but took my iPad to mtg and none of my study was there. I assumed wrongly it would sync. Suggestion for new update. Dear Brothers, Thank you so much for all the hard work on this amazing app! Jehovah is really directing the work and it just keeps getting better! As a mum I have noticed the new features to change the speed of the children’s song in the videos section by tapping in the screen and also the ability to repeat the song the same way. May I respectfully suggest a ‘lock screen’ option be made available for young children. I give my young son the phone to hold to watch a couple of his favourite song videos and as he touches the screen it replays the song or changes the speed the instant he touches it. A lock screen option would be amazing so that young ones can hold a phone/iPad and watch without it changing anything. Many thanks to you hard working family of Jehovah!

Please Help!!!. I can’t open my JW library app, every time I try to open it it seems to be opening for a few seconds and then just disappears back to my home screen, I have tried off loading the app and reinstalling a few times but it hasn’t fixed the problem, what can I do, if I delete the app completely and reinstall i will lose all my tags and hours and hours worth of study notes, please help!!!

Music stops playing. Hi I noticed that just recently when listening to music on this app it will stop playing when I lock the screen or pop out of the app at any moment. This never used to happen, I’m hoping it will be fixed soon as I love listening to the beautiful music when doing other things. Thank you 🙂

Thank you!. I know there are heaps of comments on here already, but I just want to say how much work has been put into this app that you brothers have spent countless hours on. From the Bible, to books, teaching aids, bookmarks, translation, videos, experiences - wow, this really makes studying with people (and yourself) just a gem. I love the quick accessibility buttons for meetings and conventions, and especially the bookmarks (honestly if there were more I would have to fill every one since there are so many great scriptures to keep on hand!) Just a tremendous amount of effort and consideration put into this, and you truly are doing Jehovah’s work! 💜💜 From a fellow sister from Australia.

Love it. Love app friends, a true blessing. Can we please have option to add captions to kids songs? Will help them so much to learn the words to the songs as they watch it. Also the videos in the study bible are playing automatically when you click on them. I like to read these as the meeting but now I’m worried about the video playing!! Problem with the app. So, as of now, when I launch the app in English, I can't access any books or convention releases or dramas or video presentations. Whenever I go into media for example and press on the audio button, it says that there is no audio dramas or anything in my language, which is English. Other than that, this app is awesome and you brothers have done fantastic work on it. If this could be fixed I would be delighted. Thank you.

Thanks so much, just one thing :). This is a great app and thanks to the many brothers and sisters working on updating it. One thing I can’t work out. 🤔 Since the new update this has been a problem - I like to listen to audio dramas and dramatic bible readings as I’m going to sleep, though after the update my mother found out that it didn’t stop playing one after the other because it woke her up whenever I put on one.. because they kept playing. It’s a little annoying, I’ve tried looking everywhere, what comes up when I play the reading, the shuffle and play all, looking for something that could stop it playing more than one. I can’t seem to find anything.. 😞 I would love if you could send me an answer to my question through a developer response or if you could fix this in the next update. Generally solid app. This is a well rounded implementation of our JW literature. Some feedback: 1) You can only play audio when the mute button is off - should not be the case. Maybe add this as an option in settings. 2) when playing audio and phone switches off aka sleep mode, the audio will stop playing. With Apple Music or podcasts this does not happen. The app forces you to keep your phone screen on to play anything. Why? This wastes battery unnecessarily. 3) might be time to redesign the Home Screen, especially favorite's as they have no real method of organizing items. Can I suggest implementing tags in favorites / similar to notes, and dedicate a new screen to favorites? Keep up the great work!!

Suggestions. Thank you so much for your hard work brothers! Really appreciate this great app. When I’m preparing for the meeting, I love using highlighting function. And sometimes it highlights the whole page/chapter/article all the way up. Then it resets my prep for the whole article. I believe holding it for long time triggers it, but I’m not sure. It would be great if you could make a function to prevent that. Thank you

Playing videos a little frustrating. Hello my Brothers. While I'm sure there was a reason behind it, I'm wondering why you changed the way videos play in the app. On both my iPad 4 & iPad mini I can no longer jump to a certain part of a video without it crashing, & if you swipe across it also stops & you have to x the video & start it again. I'm finding it especially frustrating because my daughter loves Caleb & Sophia but gets excited & touches the screen a lot & I constantly have to close it & start the video again. I never had this problem before that update a month or so ago. Please can this be looked at? Much love.

App crashing. Hi all. I’m having trouble since the app updated where it crashes as soon as I open it. It’s an iPad that has been recently updated as well. I tried restarted or rebooting my iPad, no go. Then uninstall the app 😩😭and reinstall but it still didn’t work. Then I tried in settings storage to offload app and reload... but no go. Any ideas would be appreciated. My iPad is only used for JW library and Language(which doesn’t crash). Thanks kindly

Thank you! I was waiting for this update. Prior to update 12.3.3 my phone size was too big for the Bible books to fit neatly on the screen and too small to fit six books across. With the new update the books now fit so perfectly on the screen and I can’t stop looking at it! In the regular updates to the app, whether minor or major, the brothers put so much time and effort into making JW Library evermore nifty and stylish! Keep up the amazing work

Wonderful app thank you!. Updates are always wonderful. Great to have mouse support on JW Library on my iPad too, only issue with this is I can’t select text on the main part of the screen. So I can’t select a section of text, then copy, highlight or access any of the text options with my mouse, only with my hand/stylus. It’s not a big deal but would be great if that becomes available. Thank you brothers and sisters for all your hard work. We all appreciate it so much, where would we be without it? All glory goes to our loving father Jehovah.

Love the app.... Having tha app has made my study so much more enjoyable and more in depth. It’s amazing how clicking on a reference work leads to more information which leads to more thoughts and other related topics. If I could make one request, and I’m not sure if it’s technically possible, but it would be nice to be able to highlight a scripture in a study article etc. and add a personal study note linked to that highlighted text. Thank you so much for all the hard work that has and goes into this application.

Problem with iPad Pro. Thanks for such a great app, we are so being spiritually fed, mine is only a small problem but none the less frustrating, in the meetings tab, the drop down box at the top of the page which changes automatically at the end of the week so that you have the correct Life an Ministry and Watchtower Study to pre study and then prepared for the meeting, my iPad Pro doesn’t automatically change and I have got myself so confused with it, is there something I need to check on to get this to work, please I need a little help with this, again thanks for all the hard work and the brilliant app

Great app. This app is absolutely Amazing and we realise a massive amount of work has gone into it. Just since the last update with reference guide material etc, my iPad mini 4 is quite slow to refresh, I have to wait a good 10 seconds to switch between hom page and publications or media or meetings tab if I haven’t touched the screen for a few minutes. But all the features do work, it’s just slow getting started if I haven’t tapped on the screen for a bit.

USERDATABACKUP JWLIBRARY FILE SYSTEM NOT WORKING. I do most of my study on my iPad (mini 5) and like to save a backup to a cloud so as to download it in my iPhone (13). In recent months this has stopped working. I have experimented with sending the backup via airdrop and I have tried using different clouds but nothing is working. The only way to sync my two devices is to delete Jwlibrary from my iPhone and download again but this is too time consuming and impractical to do on a regular basis, especially if I need to download the numerous instructions and guidelines for Elders. Perhaps there is a problem with the age of the iPad. The iPhone is brand new. For years I have used the .jwlibrary backup system to keep both devices synced so I really miss this important function. This is the best app ever so I really hope there will be a solution soon. Many thanks for your hard work on our behalf brothers. Lloyd

Furigana in the Japanese language misaligned. Thank you so much for the furigana option and everything you do in this wonderful app. On my iPad, but not iPhone, the furigana in the Japanese language is now misaligned in the text. My iPad has been rebooted and the software is up to date. Is this a glitch? Also, love the relatively recent option to adjust playback speed. A Perfect App. Accompanying Perfect Apple Watch Support?. First of all, thank you dear brothers for creating and regularly improving and rolling in new features which help us all in our spiritual lives. Reading the other reviews, I can see that there are many tweaks and features being suggested. Just one that I would like to add is support for the Apple Watch. Nothing big needs to be implemented, but just being able to open JW Library on my watch to read the Daily Scripture would be amazing. Thank you again, and I hope this review reaches you.

Glitch stopping update fixed. Yesterday out of desperation I wrote a review explaining how my new iPad wouldn’t update JW Library. I wanted others who were going through it too, know that they were not alone also. Well today it worked. I’m guessing there has been some very busy brothers & sisters working overtime to fix it. Thank everyone so much. My desperation shows just what a brilliant app it is. Cannot live without it. It is my life. And while technology is so unreliable, JW Library has always been so reliable. Everything at your fingertips. Last night I helped a friend navigate the app for the first time. She was blown away at how easy it is to use and how “Everything she needs is at her fingertips in one app” Especially the meetings feature and the connectivity of all the reference material. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making it easy and interesting to study the bible.

Issues with version 14.0. The input in the keyboard when I’m writing study notes is very glitchy. Keys don’t work and predictive text puts in unpredictable spelling. My husband just had to purchase a newer phone to keep using updated versions of the app. His phone runs iOS 15.1 and he tried to install JW Library version 14.0.2 but the app crashes on opening or if it opens at all is stuck in a loading loop. So can’t use app at all despite repeated attempts to delete it and download it again. Otherwise we love the app! But we need it to open. Thanks

The new highlighter colours are great and will make it easier to do personal study and prepare for Bible studies. One thing I’ve always wanted to make a suggestion about, would it be possible to consider having music playlists? I would love to be able to make a personalised ‘favourites’ playlist from the Original and Sing to Jehovah songs. Thank you for taking the time to consider, keep up the great work!

New iPad Issue. What a blessing this app is! Unfortunately there are a few of us that are having trouble with our new iPads when using the app, it’s saying “publications are not available for download”. This is the watchtower and Christian life and ministry workbook. It’s also having troubles syncing the “What’s New”section to also saying “nothing is available”. Thank you for all your hard efforts! We look forward to being able to continue using this app once it is fixed. Agape love

A suggestion. Dear brothers, Thank you so much for the JW Library app. It’s becoming better and better with each update and it’s a wonderful study and ministry tool. One suggestion if I may: in the Library / Downloaded tab, downloaded publications are no longer indexed by date order. In the earlier versions of the app if you selected to sort your downloaded material by Title, it would also index them by date order. This is no longer the case and this means that if you have lots of Watchtower issues downloaded for example, it makes it rather difficult to find the Watchtower issue you are looking for. I hope that soon you will be able to rectify this as it will make it easier to locate literature in your library in an offline environment. Thank you again for all your hard work!

Very helpful app. Great job with creating this app, just would like to mention that the music needs to be recorded at the same volume , when I listen to the original songs for example - one song will be loud and I adjust my volume dial but then the next song I can barely hear so I then to turn the volume up .. other than it’s an awesome app :)

Newest iOS VERSION 13.2.2. This is a fantastic app, thank you Jehovah. I have noticed that with the version of iOS noted above, I no longer have the research guide etc, just the basic scripture links. Thanks to my old iPad mini I have an older version of iOS and I still have the research guide, pictures etc Have also noticed that Windows 10 app is missing the research guide etc.

Audio related.. This app is amazing so thankful for it. However, I noticed an issue since few months while playing videos, audio stop intermittently but video keeps playing. Hope this helps to find the bug and fix it 😊.

Most comprehensive Bible study app. Most comprehensive Bible study app I have ever come across. Practical resources I use more often than I thought I would. Highly recommended.

Amazing app. Absolutely love this app and all the content! One thing though is that while watching videos on both my iPhone and iPad, the volume will suddenly cut out and I have to use the ‘skip back 5 sec’ feature for it to kick in again. But then within a short time, it cuts out again. Not sure if this is something I’m doing wrong or a bug? Thank you for all the work you put into this though! It’s invaluable!

Works great on the M1 MacBook, please make it official. It already works well on the M1 Mac’s, please make it available officially on the App Store. Side loading is blocked in MacOS 11.3.

Dark Mode. The app is great but one thing i would suggest is to add "dark mode". It's easier on the eyes and younger basically live in dark mode these days. It would really help people with light sensitivity as well!!

Such a blessing from Jehovah, and so grateful to you brothers for your hard work on this app. I have one request for the app if it’s possible: I would love to be able to make a widget on my Home or Lock Screen that shows me the daily text each day. I struggle with ADHD and often forget to open the app or website to read the text itself. But if I have a widget that shows it to me as soon as I open my phone, I’ll definitely remember! Best Bible application out!. For accurate, easy to understand layout and additional research guides this is the best! Also has multiple Bible translations for comparison and MANY languages!!!

App is good but a few suggestions.. Would be great if publication audio files could be added to playlists. Downloadable and streaming files don’t seem to be compressed, they are large files that are long to download or impossible to stream using the cellular network.

Push notifications. Would love push notifications to be able to wake up in the morning and have the daily text ready for me to swipe open and read. Same with notifications for each time a monthly update or broadcast videos is added 🙂

Tags editing is broken on iPad. Would love it if there was somewhere official I could send bug reports, for now I’ll just put them here. When using Apple Pencil on iPad, creating a note from a selection of text in an article, then tapping on the tags field, doesn’t bring up the keyboard and I have to tap Edit a bunch of times. This has been happening for many versions of the app. Moving items up in a playlist is challenging, because if you raise them too high or too fast, it stops moving them up through the list. Simple sorting options (newest, oldest) would be nice too. There’s a bug with the eyeglass/magnifying glass/tap-hold-text on iPad. When text is selected, the eyeglass shows up, but it keeps jumping to the edges of the display and flickering/stuttering.

Copy & Paste. Hello brothers 🙂 Thank you so much for all the hard work you do on the app. I am having trouble when using the note feature, with copying & pasting. It works fine at first, but then it does not work if I am doing quite a few notes. Thank you for your time & consideration.

Open dyslexia font. Hi guys, could we consider looking into a font called OpenDyslexia for the ones who have a hard time reading normal font? I have a lot of trouble reading the publications and it's hard for me to fully prepare for my meetings and Bible reading due to my dyslexia. If it's something that we could look into in implementing that we could add onto our font list that would be absolutely amazing. please take good care guys take care for now

Issue with Videos. Thank you for the app. For the last few months, when I watch videos, the sound cuts out. I need to pause and restart it. This happens several times during videos. All the updates are installed and it’s still doing it… please help!

Great content, could improve UX substantially. Thank you so much for developing and maintaining this application; it's clearly a game changer. I just wanted to write this review in the case anyone is monitoring feedback, as there are a couple of UX issue that, if resolved, would massively improve usability 🙂 Videos. There are two distinct actions when a video is touched: Stream or download. I'd bet analytics data suggests downloading is quite a popular action. However, the majority of the touch region streams, while the tiny cloud icon has an indistinct touch region which often incorrectly initiates streaming. This is horrible when you are in a quiet environment, or need to share a video without wasting a householders time. Why not just make the touch region show the download menu, and add streaming as an option at the top of that menu? That way users can intuitively identify what the result of their action will be, rather than have to somehow instinctively understand that streaming is an option and is somehow different that the download option which appears to apply to the whole thumbnail. Publication menus. This is one of those things that you eventually learn and adapt too, but it's still confusing for new users. If I got to publications, and select Watchtower, I am presented with the year categories. However, when navigating back to the parent menu, it is common to contract the current menu by click on Watchtower again. This is typically indicates to the user by having a chevron to indicate this, as is the case with jw.org's stylesheet. All Types is displayed with a chevron, but it take conscious investigate to really determine that as it is so counterintuitive. These issues only critically impact two user groups: New users (i.e. non-witnesses) who may abandon the app because it "doesn't work" (I've personally encountered this with return visits); and power users who are utilizing new features such as iOS video sharing in other languages, or who are operating meetings via teleconference. Again, this sounds critical; I understand the time and effort to get the app to this point, and it's an amazing accomplishment. Please keep up the great work! But these changes could genuinely allow someone to plant a seed in a time critical situation, or to read content they need rather than abandoning the app. And the development impact would implementing standard menu elements rather than building/maintaining non-standard and counterintuitive ones.

BOOK MARKS. Hello my brothers, Wanted to share an idea that may or may not have been presented to you before. We currently have the ability to leave 10 book marks on our Bible section of the app and was wondering if it were possible to add something that I think might benefit the friends. An option to add a personal heading such as THE RANSOM, and with each heading added, 10 book marks can be applied and so on. Brought the idea to two of my bothers (Elders) who were equally excited about the possibility. One of which suggested that I make this known on the Reviews on the Apple App Store. So here I am. iPhone X problems. I’m so excited about this update! The trouble I’m having is with iPhone X. The black bar on the bottom of the screen to advance to another app is directly in front of the buttons to select home/Bible/publications etc. Because of this, you can’t select those buttons very easily. Hope that helps.

Audio. Every time I start watching video on the app I lose audio sound, it starts fine but cuts out every time. I am not sure if that I’m the only one but it’s very frustrating.

Subtitles gone!?. Not appreciating the new video update… I used to use subtitles on all my video content and now many of the videos say subtitles are not available. Playing a video when there is ambient noise or a barking dog or for a person who has English as a second language is all better when there are subtitles - please bring them back! I also think that the player menu at the bottom left is much harder to use than when it was centralized. PiP feature is great.

Bible Translations in Many Languages. I was surprised at the number of languages the Bible is available in this one App. I downloaded the Bible in English. Afterwards I pressed the three dots at the top right and discovered this App has the Bible in hundreds languages at no cost. Amazing!!

Widget. Refreshing and useful app to deal with everyday struggles in this hard times. Could it be possible to add daily text app. Have the daily text read out loud. Would be much appreciated for those who drive. Thank you, in advance.

A great personal study tool. I very much appreciate the ability to capture notes and build a store of study references. I would like to suggest the possibility of an option to “Copy with caption“. If possible, this would allow pasting not only the text of a reference, but its source. For example, if pasting a study note from a Watchtower article, perhaps it could be optionally formatted as “(w16 5/15 p. 3 par. 2) Some text...” It would be even better if the reference was a hyperlink that would take you back to the original source. Thank you very much for your ongoing improvements.

Great! But it can be even better!. The app is great. It does what it set out to do, and excellently at that. You don’t need me to repeat what’s been said here plenty. I gave it a 4 stars, just because there are a few items on my wishlist. 1.) Airplay! Having music and videos be playable via airplay would be awesome! Right now, videos play within the app fine, but for moving audio and video to a TV, airplay would provide an awesome experience. (SharePlay integration when iOS15 comes around would be amazing too!) 2.) This is more of a content type request, but it’s important for the feature request that follows… Maybe podcast type content? Imagine something like the daily text in podcast format. It would make a great tool for those who are commuting and still want to take advantage of the time safely! 3.) Shortcuts/Siri/Automation? I’m a huge automation geek. I would love having the ability for stuff like the daily text or other content be played when I connect to my car bluetooth or a particular time of day or just ask Siri to. I know there is a Google assistant integration that probably works well enough, but chances are, we’re using Siri on Apple Devices. That’s all I can think of right now, and I know these are a bit of a stretch, but here’s to hoping!

Best media app I can get!. I love being able to download Original Songs in multiple languages. I wish I could make a multi-lingual playlist or that shuffle mode could shuffle through all languages I have downloaded. Similarly, ability to listen to an article followed immediately by the same article in another language would be delightful (looping the series would be amazing)! When driving, accessing my device to change language, article, etc is not an option. The loving work put into this app is noticed and appreciated. More than one associate I have shown it to has been impressed and downloaded it themselves. Many comment that such language variety is incredibly valuable (expensive)! Little do they understand that you could never buy this level of work and attention!

Excellent application! incredible but, real organization!. Hello, I'm really happy with this wonderful application. It helped me a lot in my personal reading, deep research, and so on. It seems to me even more fun is that we do not need internet connection to use with. Oh yes! Thank you Jehovah, my God of love for this organization that I have been given to free my soul completely from all false formations, from all false and worse teaching (John 8: 31,32). Please, let me ask you something common. I say "common" because that one will concern any reader of this Application on ios. [I'm especially speaking to the developers of JW LIBRARY. My application was updated about 4 to 6 months ago. It annoys me not to be able to enjoy the new good spiritual foods on JW LIBRARY. And I think it concerns almost all ios readers if I'm not mistaken. So, a new update today even on my iPad would still be a plethora of joy and a multiple excellent sighs deep in my heart. So amazing/ASL Videos. How awesome is this!!! I really enjoy more videos coming available in American Sign Language. I also try not to go ahead of the chariot or fall behind. But currently I did uninstall the orange app. Also I noticed sometimes when using the purple app for ASL, what happens when I download a video and put it on my play list, and then try to play, it doesn’t play it says video not available yet. So maybe I have to wait more updates but I really like it being only 1 app for everything instead of the orange app for us and purple app for English or others… Sometimes feels like we don’t belong, but I’m happy that more choices are available in purple app and hopefully soon all will be 1 app only… Thank you brothers for all you do. I Bless you Jehovah and Jesus Christ. This Application is Amazing and is indeed a gift from the most high God Jehovah & His Wonderful Son Jesus Christ. The Application is so so incredibly detailed about Jehovah Gods Holy Bible and the research Guide is so beautifully informative and increasingly and incredibly informative that saying it’s Awesome is not a overstatement. This Application is like the Creator Himself Jehovah our savior in the room along with His Son Jesus Christ our second savior in are home with us teaching us 🤍 I have learned so much I could not put a price on it and if I could it would be priceless just like a precious human life that this Application is helping possibly saving and teaching. They have the tool here this JW Application to teach them now it’s on the potential brother or sisters and Jehovah and Jesus Christ for the seed to grow they have the soil. All Glory to Jehovah and Jesus Christ I only hope they would add a equalizer for the music since this app is so beautiful and the ability to change the color of the app and maybe a way to organize are media and change the font styles and colors but these are all like added luxury and cosmetics other then that this JW application is perfect just like are Creator Jehovah. Been loving it for years but one primary feature just disappeared. I LOVE this app and have been using it for years now. The only thing that just recently changed in the last week or so is that I can’t back up and restore my personal notes and highlights between my iPhone and iPad anymore. I would often study on my Phone and then when it’s time for the meeting I would send my backup file via AirDrop (I used to use Dropbox) over to my iPad. Now I can only save a backup on my iPhone to my iPhone. The same with my iPad. I can’t even save it to Dropbox. It was my way to keep my iPhone and iPad in sync. I’d love it if we can bring back that feature because now I can’t sync my notes and for now I can’t properly study on my iPad. Thanks for all your hard work brothers and sisters!

An invaluable tool for any servant of Jehovah. This app has changed my life and my desire to study and research has increased so much. Thank you! Would it be possible in a future version to expand the color selection for highlighting? Many of us are visual learners and to me color coordinating is a huge help. Bible reading notes are green, Watchtower are pink, weekly bible study publication is blue. But I would really like more colors to be able to further categorize topics or publications. The yellow color is so light I rarely use it, I find it harder to see. Maybe purple, orange, red, tan, etc could be added. Also the ability to underline instead of highlight would be amazing. My other suggestion I’m sure is much more difficult and not likely to happen. I would love to see a dark theme where we can invert the background to a dark gray and the text to a light or off white. I prefer these themes on almost every device I use because I find them easier on the eyes. Or if not a dark theme then a sepia tone like Apple iBooks uses which I prefer to their dark theme which is stark black with yellowed/off white text. That’s a bit too harsh. Thank you again for all your hard work in our spiritual behalf.

Awesome but problems with new update. Or at least on my iPad. When I tried to play the original songs, which I love by the way, it kept glitching. I tapped play all and most of the time it would only play Inspired by Your Wonders. Most of the time it would wouldn’t let me skip to the next song. When showing the bar of how far along you are in the song, it kept glitching back and forth along the bar. Glitches like this have made it very hard to work with when trying to play all original songs, I haven’t tried other videos yet but for these, I think there’s a problem. Unless there’s just something wrong with my iPad and it’s not the app, please look into this. Other than that, I love the app.

Hello Brothers, Thank you. I recently had to reset my phone completely. I have re-downloaded the App. But I am having some issues with it stating “The following publications are not available”. It will also not allow me to download this publications. I have tried multiple things to get this corrected. I have tried deleting it and downloading the app again but that hasn’t worked. I tried downloading over WiFi and that hasn’t helped the issue either. I’m unable to use most publications and almost all media. Have you heard of this error before? It most likely is user error, I would appreciate some help on this as well. If anything it’s most likely my phone as well. Thank you for any assistance you may offer, D’Angelo

BEST. APP. EVER. ❤️💖. So, even though I’m only 12, and my opinion might not be worth considering; this app in one of the best things to EVER been given to us by the governing body. And it is truly a blessing from Jehovah. It’s a HUGE help in the meetings, field service, bible studies, and when you’re feeling down, you can look up scriptures. I love the songs, videos, broadcasts, watchtowers, and all the other thing I can’t think of right now. The way that this app has impacted so many peoples lives, for the good, is outstanding. You can really feel Jehovah’s love in the scriptures. This is also great because it tells you the true Gods name: Jehovah. And that’s make it feel like you have a close personal relationship with him even though you can’t see him. This app is totally worth having!! 😍💖❤️💜

Everything great thus far. Everything is absolutely wonderful. There is however one slight problem that would be make everything so much better and easier. That would be having more download all options. When you get a new device or even just wanting to download as many of the publications as possible if your device storage space is large enough the Watchtowers, Awakes, and even songs and videos can be so tedious to try and download as you have to do each one individually. If there could be download all options available wherever it could be applicable that would be such a relief. Thank you for all of your hard work and may Jehovah continue to bless your efforts.

Additional feature. Beautiful app, very useful tool in the ministry and for Bible education. The functionality of the app continues to improve and it is very much appreciated. A useful addition that would prove beneficial to a feature that is already helpful, would be a "see all" option for the favorites section so as to see these items in list view. Perhaps even having these items sorted categorically, similar to how the items in the downloaded tab is organized. I've found it cumbersome to have to scroll left and right to sort through my favorites. Not sure where the suggestion box is but giving this a shot! Thank you brothers for all you do and your hard work.

Where is the vocal version of song #79???. The vocal version of Teach Them To Stand Firm had recently become one of my favorite songs. I have it downloaded on my iPad and on my iPhone. But with the recent issues of iPhone SE, not being able to update to the newest version of iOS, I had to upgrade my iPhone. When I went to download song #79 on my new iPhone I was sad to see it removed from the list. I tried searching on the website to no avail. I tried taking the file from my iPad and importing it to my iPhone, I got the following error message “This file does not match any content in JW Library. Please try selecting a different file.” At that point I gave up and have only been listening to it when I have my iPad. Please bring back song 79 so I can always have it with me. Thank you!

Faith strengthening blessing. My brothers, this app and the Word of God, the Bible, has been an amazing gift to our worldwide brotherhood. So many of us can only express our gratitude in prayer and share a personal thank you for your help to bring Jehovahs name to light. My only thing brothers, when I type into the Bible search bar 144,000 it doesn’t seem to pop up unless I take away the zeros. And in Luke 23:43 when Jesus says the word Paradise, it will only pop up when capitalized. Of course I know now that I have to do these things to find the scriptures, but it would be nice for maybe older ones or new publishers to have this be just a little bit easier for them when preaching. Thank you again! And thank you Jehovah!

Another one of Jehovah’s great works. Just wanted to tell you brothers thank you so much for working so hard. With Jehovah’s spirit you all are accomplishing such amazing things and I am sure all in the brotherhood greatly value this great resource. One thing that I truly appreciate about the work you all do with the app is that you are patient to release updates. Many worldly app developers are so quick to put in new features but in doing so of course there are many problems that come because they did not take the time to work out all of the bugs before a new release. How great it is that you all imitate Jehovah in this regard who took an unforetold amount of time in creating the physical universe so that it was “ very good” (Gen 1:31). P.S. the new fonts and green color highlighting looks great. Thank you again. 👏😁

A real piece of art. My only issue is all of the dramatic bible readings are being downloaded in completely different languages then the English. I have been using this app for many years but this is the first issue I have ever had. I download everything in English but for some reason, only the last two dramatic bible readings are downloading in English and the rest are downloading in different languages even though I have chosen English. It is super weird! Besides that, I love the work you brothers and sisters have done. This app is useful for everything I do in the ministry and in my personal study and with my kids. It would be awesome if the shuffle was back on the music so I would be a bit more random like before. But keep up the good work!

iPhone X Full Support & Minor Freezing. The app is very well design and only seems to get better each update. Hope to see iPhone X screens fully supported so the entire screen is utilized. I run into screen freezes when I click on a scripture referred to in a publication 1 out of every three times. Going back to the publication and then clicking the scripture again will allow me to scroll to see the scripture in other translations. Also when writing a note on a smart phone and clicking back to the publication, you will be sent back to the beginning of the publication. Unless you make sure to select the note, then hit the back button. I think an improvement would be to click back to the publication and automatically go to where the note was added after creating the note.

Any and all JW study praising Jehovah’s name and purpose!!. I have had the privilege of being one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for quite some time now. Before the internet, before the lunches stopped at all conventions and assemblies and I want to especially thank our brothers who have taken the lead and giving us the spiritual food at the proper time-our faithful slave who labor for us so that we can have the best spiritual meal in the world. As I was reading the bug fixes I realized how hard our brothers and sisters work under the direction given to give us the best possible chance to serve Jehovah the best possible way forever. Jehovah’s chariot is definitely on the move and we are so thankful for this beautiful library and all of the wonderful gems possible. This is indeed “the best life ever”. Sis Smith.

Trust In Jehovah-Look For Jehovah-Wait For Jehovah-He is never Too Late. In April 2021-I received a gift of a new laptop. The brother that was helping me set it up- called Bethel for help. We were told that the "Jw Library App" was not available for my operating system. I might be able to find a brother that could help me to install an app that would allow me to get it installed. I thanked the brother and told him I do not want to "Chicken Fix" or "by-pass" anything in order to get "The JW Library App" downloaded to my laptop-I will wait for Jehovah. Last night the thought came to my mind to check to see if anything had changed. To my delight it did-(when it did-I do not know-but I saw it last night)sooo of course I thanked Jehovah and downloaded the App. Today, the more I thought about it-the more I felt the needed to say thank you to my brothers. Thank You for your time and the sacrifice you make to help us put faith and trust in our "God of the Unknown Variable-Jehovah" Who never acts too late and to quote one of his spiritual sons "Jehovah Always Acts with Style". Practical Tool! Could be more practical….. I like using the JW Library app to study the Bible, to study with others and to study for the weekly meetings. It's a practical tool . It's nice to have everything you need in one single app as it makes everything easier to access! However it would be even more practical if we could get the app to synchronize our notes and highlights across all of our devices. I love to study at home on my iPad but sometimes need to use my phone at meetings because I have a baby who constantly needs me, it is not an easy feat to juggle a big screen with a baby so I opt to use my phone at meetings. Hopefully we can soon have that be possible! Other than that, thank you for this great app!!

Page lock button, maybe?. My dear brothers and sisters thank you for all your hard work in making the the best app ever better and better each day. I was wondering if you can also take into consideration adding a page lock button or something similar to where you won’t lose a paragraph or page while studying or using it at the meeting especially when commenting! A slight touch would make it scroll all the way up the title or scroll sideways to the next page before or after .I’ve also noticed that happening to a lot of friends young and old alike in my hall losing their line of thought during a comment because they lost the page. It would surely help people with shaky, clumsy hands like mine to focus more on the material discussed rather than be distracted. Once again thank you.

The best app ever. I’ve been using JW Library since it was released and for a couple of years I’ve wished that I could choose dark mode. Sometimes at night if I can’t sleep I enjoy reading an article or a few scriptures and the information sets my heart at ease and I sleep peacefully, but there bright light would always hurt my eyes. I also have sensitive eyes too bright lights in general and my tablet and phone are always set to a dimmer brightness level. I’m so excited to use the dark mode now, thank you for this recent update. I thank Jehovah for all the hard work to bring us this app in the first place but especially the love you show by continuing to improve the app for the convenience of us all, it’s very hard to make everyone happy but the makers of this app truly try. 💜

Suggestion. I began using the Personal Study feature when it arrived, and I am addicted. It has deepened the way I examine the scripture and is a constant feature of my study. I use this tool daily and I love it. Truly useful. Having used it very thoroughly, I’d like to suggest MULTIPLE TAG searches to more fully refine my tagged scripture searches. For example, topical tags such as “spirit”, “Name”, “title”, (along with over 300 others!) gives me thousands of scriptures. I add a “research” tag to those of particular interest for future research, leaving me with many hundreds to research. I spend much time merely looking and organizing for “research” & topic of interest. So a MULTIPLE TAG search of existing tags would really save much legwork. What a great tool we have! Thank you!

Regular User of App. From the very beginning of the app availability my family and I have truly enjoyed this app especially the Bible’s. Really appreciate the audios. Recently on my iPad, we have the new feature with Picture in Picture and when I play the videos it will not let me play the full screen of the video only the audio and when I touch the icon for the smaller video, it plays the video. This just started when the new feature was introduced. Please help me with this. Our family really appreciate all you brothers do to keep us spiritually fed and built up so we can face what’s ahead with confidence and total reliance on Jehovah our God,Father and Friend along with our mighty King Christ Jesus as well. True Blessing. First of all I would like to thank Jehovah God and all of the brothers and sisters whom have worked endless amount of hours in creating and up keeping this app. Your hard work is truly appreciated and we thank you! Obviously has become our best friends and has made our lives so much easier. Looking back at it we would’ve never thought we’d have such a great tool as we do now. I have had one problem in the app though. Usually when I try to save an image from within the app, it crashes completely. I’ve tried to do it on multiple devices and some other friends as well and they have run into the same issues. I know you guys are working hard and I just wanted to some feedback. Thank you for all of your hard work.

Dark Mode Compatibility. A few updates back in the iOS software, there was a feature called dark mode which makes the white interface for iOS applications and UI's black. Some apps on the App Store have added this compatibility into their apps too. Please include compatibility for this within the app. The only way to do this now is to invert the colors on the screen, which isn't ideal when highlighting or doing other tasks. This holds true even with smart invert. The app is fine for now other than this. One minor suggestion: All notes made without tapping on highlighted words are purple. You cannot change the color on it to pink, yellow, green, or blue without tapping on highlighted text. Please include the ability to change purple notes to the four highlight colors without needing to use highlighted text.

Be Patient & Wait on Jehovah.... First of all thank you all for your hard work... I finally purchased my new macbook Air.. replacing my 2010 Macmini when I found out that the JWLibrary now will work... Technology....I love that i can use the app finally on a computer and we all zoom to our meetings. :-). I will wait and be patient for the update that will allow the "Handoff" feature. Since I do all of my reading and studying on my iPad(creature of habit). My work around: I can create a back up from ipad and then restore that back up copy to the MacBook Air.. I thank Jehovah for all of these great platforms he provides HIS timely Spiritule Food. May Jehovah continue to keep us all safe as we follow his direction. Thank you again Brothers and Sisters.

Appreciative user. I wish to thank you so much for this app! I use it all the time, and appreciate how you keep improving it. I will be patient, as I know you are working very hard for us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have created the most useful app ever!!! I do wish that we did not need the internet to be able to have the bible and magazines read to us. I find it very helpful to stay focused when I can listen as it plays. We have a sister in our congregation than is pretty much home bound with cancer, and can not afford the internet. When I go visit her, I use my wifi hot spot to update her tablet with new magazines, and videos. She would love to be able to listen to them as most days she does not feel up to sitting up to read. I hope you can help with this, I know it would benefit others as well.

Love your work on app but. With new updates in iOS come new problems. IOS 13, I like to use dark mode and discovered with the new iOS update it caused the words to disappear but the numbers in bible are still there, similar problem with meeting information but it shows some words like subheading and numbers. Pictures do the same some are fine but others are inverted but other’s are fine. Ok I know not all this is all on you some maybe a apple thing but I just wanted to make sure you know what going on with your app and couldn’t find any way to get this information to you, and the elders don’t know how to tell you, don’t know if you read these reviews but I hope you get this information. I love the app layout and functionality and want it to remain the best app it can be. Thx

I am, however, including the following new information because when I select “write a review” my old message appears. I still give this app 5 stars and appreciate everything it provides. I do have a question though. I notice that the July broadcast released yesterday is ready for download on my iPhone (which has data) but not on my tablet (which is wifi only). The same with the latest animated music video for song 005 God’s Wondrous Works. I keep checking back to download on my tablet but it’s not there. Is this normal?

Purchased New iPad, Publications unavailable for Download. This is an amazing app! I’m assuming there will be an update soon. I purchased a new IPad and restored it from my iCloud backup. The only publications currently available for download are the ones in the toolbox. I can’t download anything else. No meeting material, music, videos, research guide. Nothing is available. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app but then lost all my personal notes and highlights. So, I totally reset and restored the device hoping it would work but it still doesn’t. Back to just having the toolbox although I do have my tags and personal study so I’m afraid to do anything else in fear of losing that. The app on my old device still works fine, but I can’t get it to work on the iPad Air 3rd Generation.

Love the new notes preview. I love the new notes visibility in the preview pane!! Now I don’t have to make extra copies of notes so they’re visible when I want to stay within a publication! THANK YOU! FYI: I wish I could filter my notes by tag combos, i.e., “patience” + “convention”. I’ve been applying multiple tags to gems since day 1, hoping filtering would be a future feature. (As a note [no pun intended], some of my tags start with emojis to thematically group them together.) While I’m here :) would you please consider the ability to sort notes when I go into a tag? I’m going on 8 years of notes here and it takes forever to scroll from 2017 down to present day. I have 16MB worth of notes…

Wonderful App - One suggestion. Thank you so much for this wonderful blessing. One small suggestion would be to make it possible to have maybe some type of account or something to make it possible to have what you’ve studied on multiple devices. Sometimes when I’m at work I like to study on my phone; make notes, underline, etc. When I’m at home doing more in depth study i sometimes like to use my laptop to type notes and so forth. But at the meetings I like to use my tablet, so it would be wonderful to be able to link your devices in a way so when you study a publication or whatever it may be, to be able to have what you’ve studied to be on all of your devices, rather than have to reunderline everything from device to device. Once again thank you brothers for all of your hard work!

User friendly amazing website. This is the best website in the world. No account login needed. Just download the app and suddenly we have a whole new option for reading our favorite Bible translation. Or we can listen. The online Bible course helps us to put into practical application- the Bible. And how this benefits us. The wealth of information seems endless. Such well thought content. And available for reading; listening; or video. Something for literally everyone of all ages. It’s a truly marvelous blessing from our Heavenly Father. He wants everyone to have the truth. I love this app so here’s some ways to make it better. First off all love this it’s amazing helps out Aton but I have a few ideas first add feature were we can make a playlist where we can put videos music bible texts and more and we name them like, texts and videos for hard times. Let us make our own this well help us get info instead of going thru all our notes. Second this is more off a book idea it will be called help for children this would be like young people ask but for children this can be useful for a kid like me. Finnaly improve the personal study it’s not the best here’s some ways to improve it you can add guides in it like, how to start a bible reading? How to improve YOURE preaching skills? In these there would be tracts and booklets on how to improve these things

Love the app, but did something change?. I enjoy the app very much. Thanks for taking the time to create this wonderful tool that allows me to u see it daily for my personal study and music enjoyment. However, recently I noticed that I’m not able to listen to music or the Bible when my iPhone is locked. I used to be able to listen to everything without my phone having to be unlocked. Is there something I’m doing wrong? Please help. If I could download the music and put in my music app I wouldn’t mind. But, since I have to use the app to listen to the music I can’t have my screen on the entire time. I would really appreciate it if you could address this issue. Your sister in the faith!

World´s most important app. It is amazing how quickly Jehovah’s chariot is advancing in these last days. I recall as a child, my mother having a number of publications laid out on the bed as she was preparing for a meeting assignment. The few videos available we’d slip into our VCR. Or, the cassette case mom would bring out to play our favorite bible stories for bedtime. Now, all that plus much, much more is available in my phone/tablet. As a father and husband, I see the tremendous efforts mother made to ensure that my siblings and I were well nourished spiritually. I have no excuse to miss the daily text reading, personal study and family worship night. Thank you for this wonderful provision brought at the appropriate time. And thank you to the team who continues on working to improve it.

Interesting. Hi I am a Nine year old witness of Jehovah god. And this is a very good app because it has many JW publications and videos along with all the books of the Bible. Some of them have introduction videos! Some publications and bible books can be read to you. I think it is very interesting! You can even take notes, and check out a bunch of new items! There are a few more things I'll let you find out..... I'm about to study on it right now. Also, sometimes it won't let me open up the app, so try a few things : try again a few times, close your electronic for a few minutes then try again, shutdown your electronic for a few minutes then try again, and if those do not work, you'll have to delete the app and then download it again. Thanks for reading!

Glitch?. I love this app and so thankful that we have everything at her fingertips for research and meditation. I have an iPhone 8plus. I have not had any other issues with the app besides small ones that have been fixed with the updates. But for some reason all of a sudden I can’t play anything on the meeting section of the JW Library. The Bible doesn’t have the play button to play the Scriptures or on the meeting section I can’t play any of those. And I’m talking about the text not the videos. I’m not sure if I disabled something or if there is in fact a glitch. This is very frustrating when trying to prepare for meetings. Even so, thank you for all your support and hard work in keeping this app update.

Great App, AirPlay Needs Attention Please 🙏🏾. Hi there! Can you brothers please take a look at AirPlay? Whenever I try to AirPlay to my Apple TV, the app will work for a little while, but if I happen to rotate my screen while reading the Bible, or looking at the midweek mtg information, everything disappears leaving a blank white page in between the top and bottom control panels of the app. The only way to get it all back is to stop AirPlay and start it again. Also if I try to swipe to the next chapter in a Bible reading it will usually come up with a blank page. Sometimes the text and graphics will disappear on their own when I try to scroll up or down. Can someone please investigate this? I would really appreciate it brothers. Thank you for all you do!

A change occurred. A few months back my JW library on iPhone 8 and 11 stopped allowing me to see my search term in the Library’s Bible. I can see it to enter/type the search term but once I hit the search magnifying icon there is a type of screen overlap that actually blocks about 1/2-2/3 of the view of the search field. This is especially difficult if I wish to type in another search term, I cannot because the field is not only partially obstructed from view but obstructed so that it can’t be typed into a second time unless I exit and start over again. One gets 1 shot, 1 opportunity to see the entry and once hitting the search icon a second entry isn't possible if one wishes to continue to type in other search terms due to the partially covered search field. This is a newer glitch, it wasn’t like this a few months ago. I’ve waited because I thought you brothers would see it and fix it. But I decided, since it’s still there, to try and describe it in the hopes you can adjust accordingly. I’d like to attach a pic of what I’m referring to but don’t see that as an option. Works Great. I have been using JW library since it first came out, back when it was only the Bible and nothing else. I am happy to say it has grown so that I can read the Watch Tower, watch videos, and read the Bible. I’m happy that they recently increased the number of colors you can highlight with, it was only like three or four before. While I have never had an issue on iPad, it has never had a glitches. My only complaint is that it doesn’t work well with Apples magic keyboard. It just doesn’t register the clicks as clicks when I click a text. Usually I click the text with my finger and it shows if I want to play the audio or see that text in the other bible editions I have, but with the cursor of the keyboard it doesn’t register it and nothing happens.

LOVE IT. Thank you for your hard work in developing and continually updating this app. Likely someone has brought to your attention already that audio files downloaded from the cloud at the Title Page for older publications can no longer be played. The download capability is still in place, but you cannot play it. For a time you provided a separate section under audio for Other and I could access them there. That section is gone. And even if, on other devices, I find the actual audio file and select Open With JW Library, the process fails. I’m just assuming someone forgot to either create a new way to access these audio files or remove the ability to download them until another option is in place.🤷🏽‍♀️

Continues to uphold the latest app design techniques. I appreciate how the app continuously implements the latest design trends and allows for a familiar interface and intuitive use. Although not a flaw, there is one feature that perhaps could be implemented in future releases: It allows you to search for a word or phrase within a particular publication. However, if you wish to search within a publication for when a particular Bible book, and chapter is cited, it does not seem to be able to recognize the scripture links as searchable text characters. Although the research guide is the best tool for scripture explanation and application, I often find it helpful to see other instances in the publications when particular Bible books and chapters are cited.

Bookmarks and highlights gone. After the latest update, all my Bible bookmarks are gone. One of my bookmarks was used to keep track of where I left off in my daily Bible reading. I updated it every day. I also discovered that all my highlighting in the Bible has disappeared. Within the chapters, I see different colored boxes next to the verse where I have a personal study note, but the highlights are gone. I had a lot. Now my study Bible is clear and looks unstudied. Thankfully my personal study notes are still there. Thank you for all the hard work in producing a wonderful study tool. It has definitely been a life saver for me during intense trials, helping me draw ever closer to our loving Heavenly Father.

Is it possible to have older versions in apple App Store?. I absolutely love the app and the new 2022 update. However, I serve in Africa and the generous friends from other places will sometimes send their older devices cleared for the friends here to use. With the apple devices I cannot put the library because they are older devices that can’t update past iOS 9. With other apps, as long as I have a version on my account, older devices can download older versions, but with the JW Library there isn’t an older version available in the App Store. If it is possible to get an older version for Apple, myself and I imagine many others could really benefit. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and sacrifice.

Latest update with huge problems Version 14.0. The latest update from 6 days ago has been a nightmare for all of us who depend on this app for our theocratic activities. Hundreds of notes worth several years of personal study were lost/erased; it has been extremely disappointing. Being unable to add notes and randomly erasing previous notes in preparation for PSS has been crushing to say the least. And the occasional crashes in the most inconvenient times have left us very frustrated. I appreciate all you do, but please don’t push an update if it’s not ready, this has been the buggiest version of an app I have ever worked with. Perhaps nothing you can do, but I hope you understand the pain of having worked diligently creating hundreds of notes and tags, and faithfully backing it up, only to have all of them vanished. If the app is this undependable, it becomes useless for any real use on convention notes, theocratic schools, meetings and personal study.

It works, it’s user friendly, literally the best app on the planet!. The volume of information you can access with the app may at first glance seem overwhelming. However due to the user friendly design you will soon discover the ease with which data can be accessed. From a practical level you might want to start by downloading the Bible. That will be the hub of how you use other features. Think of the app just as it is called, your electronic “library”. As you read your Bible, and as questions come up, you learn how to go to the other features of the app to find what you are looking for. I must conclude by expressing my opinion that at the same time this is the best app every, it contains the most important information in the universe!

Revolutionary!!! Just one thing.... I Love this app through-and-through and it is a real blessing to use. It’s easy to navigate through, it has many of the latest articles, videos and songs available and ready to be used. I love using this app out in the ministry because it can search up last minute scriptures and leave many bookmarks and notes to use for a RV or householder. However, speaking of notes, the only issue I find problems with over and over again is that the cursor on notes tends to bug-out when used over an extended amount of time. I commonly use the notes feature on my IPad Air and the bug will glitch out of the note box. This app is truly amazing and other than the simple bug, there really is no other issue I can find on the app! Thank you
