Ease of use. Vyrso app review Beautiful clean and fast ereader. I use the Logos app for studying the Bible, I use this app for reading the additional titles in my library. It offers an easy interface with useful features: - Quickly get an overview of all highlights in your book. - Set up a reading plan with a reminder to help you read through a book in a chosen number of days. - Access each book quickly when online, without downloading it - Download books to read later (the Info icon turns to a solid color) The integration with the Logos library has added advantages: - all notes and highlights you make on any device are stored and available in your library - highlight text to easily be used on your computer later - collect text and illustrations for a project with Visual Copy - same UI as the Logos app - Check books in Logos on mac/windows to send to this app the next time it opens. I found a few advantages over kindle: - read Scripture references in the text with one click - tag your books (faster and better than collections in kindle) - books are more accessible since you can do a search (on keyword or passage) through your entire library in Logos For those who miss bookmarks: they are called 'Favorites' inn this app.

Great resource. This resource is absolutely a must to a deeper devotional life.

Good and Bad. Logos systems is a brilliant company with accessibility to lots of resources for Bible study and spiritual growth. This app gives you multi-device reading capability of your library, which is great. The app has most of the bells and whistles you'd expect in a reading app. I rated it a two-star because it also has some drawbacks. My library is extensive and it is difficult to keep track of my books. I hesitate to explore while reading because many times I have not been able to re-find my book. Secondly, you can highlight and note passages, but there isn't a way to export those notes or find them once you are finished reading. Lastly, I often need to re-boot my iPad as the app, without warning, doesn’t recognize my Apple pen, or allow me to do any highlighting or notes.

Crash City. Hi, the app has very good access to resources but tends to crash regularly on my IPad. Thanks for a potentially great scholarly resource.

Free selections. I like the free ebooks and audiobook feature to try out different subjects.

Great app. I love the way they put mark by the verse for more information on there reading plan.

Works wonderfully. Allows you to quickly move through your collection and read the text. Great that it synchronizes well with the Logos system.

Daily Reading of the Word. Faithlife has made my devotional time with the Lord so much more enjoyable, as I can easily go from one of my favorite books to another with just a tap of my finger. The ability to highlight and underline keeps meaningful passages easy to refer back to. Love this tool for spiritual insight and growth.

Coordinated. Really enjoy this app as it seamlessly coordinates with the Logos Bible App. My only suggestion is that both apps need to show the page number and be able to bookmark.

Good, however. This is a good app, however I often find using olive tree easier in one significant area - ease in finding what you want to read. Please, please improve the interface for finding books to read! I have almost 1,000 books in my collection and unless I can remember the title or author it is painful finding what I want to read. How about a category filter, on your web site that is how you advertise your collections, please incorporate that into both your Logos Bible app and your Vyrso app. This is a major issue and one that is so simple to enhance in your software. Otherwise I think your apps are great. Often in a bible study I want to change the version of the bible I'm reading, if it is one I don't regularly read what a painful and time consuming task. Olive tree's app allows me to look by bibles, commentaries, etc... Fast! The search option is great only if you know the title or author. You have room to improve in the even the simple interface features.

Sadly, not Happy. I was really looking forward to this app because I'd get to read the books in my Logos library that are less research based. However, when I opened the app it has a huge amount of books I don't want to see in my library, cluttering it up, that I cannot remove. I asked Logos about this and they said the app randomly chose books to pull into Vyrso and that I can't remove -- great! If I cannot pick and choose which books I see in my Vyrso library I won't use this app. I'll use the Kindle app which lets me do that. Then, I just opened the app, only to find that the 100 books I did download into Vyrso are no longer there. UGH!!! This could be a really cool app and very useful, even a Christian competitor with the Kindle app if it'd fix these two issues.

Great appp. I extremely enjoy this app, along with the content that the bookstore has. It has been a huge help to my ministry.

So much potential but so unless!. I've owned Logos since it first came out. I think I did beta testing too. I love Logos and can't begin to figure how many hours I've used it. I would give this app five stars for content available and cost of content. I've had this app since it was released and you can tell from my rating that I'm VERY disappointed. It has many good features, and strong links to Logos. All the positives can't overcome a glaring weakness. You can't add bookmarks! That's nuts for an app designed for reading books. It also is terribly limited in how you sort your library. I can't even sort by when a book was added which makes finding books in my 1000+ library more than difficult. These problems are easily fixed but repeated requests have never been responded to much less addressed. I hope this review will change that!

Great app, BUT.... This app is fantastic. Great way to read my favorite books on the go or just whenever. I always have my phone on me, but I don't always carry around multiple paper back books. I love that it operates pretty much identically to logos, but there's one problem with that. If you use your logos account, your entire logos library will show up in the Vyrso app. I love that my Vyrso books show up in my logos library, but I think it's be great if only my Vyrso books showed up in my Vyrso library. Otherwise, it's almost like having two logos bible apps. I hate having to search through hundreds of books just to find my Vyrso purchases. Of course, an easy way to fix this would be adding a new sort feature within the library that would allow the user to sort purchases first, then the rest of the library.

Thumbs down. Use to use this program daily. But now it crashes. I can’t even get past startup screen.

Excellent, Fully Functional Prayer & Study Guide.. I’m so happy j found this app. I highly recommend! No creepy ads or stalking algorithms !

Great Tool. The Ebooks app combined with the Mobile Learning courses from Faithlife are a great combo. I use the ebook app to playback the audio of the course lectures while gardening, commuting, or exercising. You can turn off your phone screen while the audio plays so the battery is conserved. Each lecture flows into the next. This is a great way to review course content and get it to stick in your brain.

Good and Bad. It would have been easy if the contents are available in one screen. User Interface is a little hassle. But overall its good.

Enjoy. I enjoy using this product very much. Nice to have access to good Christian literature.

Great App, Pricey Contents. I LOVE the fact that you can now scroll through documents instead of page-turning. I LOVE the intermediate indices that help you find words in the lexicons, e.g. I LOVE the ease of use of this app and the great documents that it gives access to. I am glad I bought a deluxe former version of Logos' library and still have access to its rich collection, because new content on Logos is the priciest of any digital content I'm aware of. I doubt I'll add any new content to my library while Logos has these monopolistic prices. But I am happy with this platform to access what I already have.

Great Books. I’m still reading by Stasi Eldridge, excellent read, I’ve always enjoyed ebook app’s this is one of the better ones.

Crashes when highlighting. I enjoy using this app for my reading for seminary class. However, the app crashes often when I highlight.

All My Logos Bibles and Books in One App. My Bibles and books in my Logos/FaithLife accounts are in one app. And that is over 100. My only complaint is downloading books and getting them visible to read. It is a convoluted process even after they are downloaded. Really I couldn't tell someone how to do it.

Logos user. As a Logos user I find myself stressing for time to read the plentiful resources I have. This app makes it easy to read those resources from my mobile phone. Excellent app, Esaú to use and very convenient.

Book Anywhere. I currently finished and am starting to reread Radically Normal by Josh Kelley. I really like the fact that anywhere I have my phone or iPad, I can read. Currently I read as I traveled to Seattle. It was really neat to not have to pack a book with me. The fact that I have access to a library of a variety of books is pretty awesome too😀. In all fairness, I do not know everything I need to know to use this program to its fullest potential. One thing I haven't figured out how to do without taking notes, which you can do in this program, is to sticky note the pages so you can easily flip back to something you are studying.

More Important Than the Logos App!. I am a Portfolio user and have been waiting for this since day one! Not only do I have my entire library in a much more readable format now, but I finally have a real solution to enjoy all of the Mobile Ed video and audio content in a way that is actually usable. (Adding an Automatic Loading of the next chapter would make it perfect.) Great job Logos on this overdue app!!

Split View. The app is good and I like it. But have not been able to add the resources I want and need and not able to activate Split View like I had at first with this app.

Bible footnotes. I love this App, because it gives quick links to associated scripture. I use it as a daily reference in my Bible reading.

Love the App. I love this app! There are a few things I'm "ehh" on, such as the library. It's cluttered and hard to quickly find a new book to dive into (I always download the free book of the month, so when I'm ready to start a new one it's hard to find one based on topic). It's also not the greatest for the iPhone. But since they made it scroll-able it's infinitely better! The highlighting function is hard to work since the iPhone screens are so much smaller. Granted: that's definitely a operator issue not app creator!! Other than that I love how easy reading books is on my eyes, love that it saves my highlights and allows me to markup anything. LOVE how if versus are mentioned in the text I can read it as a pop up. Such a great function!! Overall I'm very very pleased.

ESV BIBLE. I very much appreciate the ease with which I can go from one location to another. The issue I have is with just a couple of things. For whatever reason the app does not allow me to download the books I am reading and that limits somewhat my enjoyment or comfort level. I also periodically lose my two page format in landscape while I am reading a portion of a book. I all of a sudden have a page each of two different books. That is particularly difficult if it happens while I am having my quiet time in the morning. Very disruptive. I absolutely love the great diversity available in highlighting although I would like to have a few more options in the topical section. I find that there are some major issues that are not included. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the app especially since I am learning more and more about it through use. Thank you for providing this app. It is one of my favorites.

Difficult to highlight. I thoroughly enjoy the app, however highlighting is a chore on my iPad. The Kindle app highlighting has spoiled me. If highlighting was quicker and smoother I would give this app a 5 star rating.

Not certain of the need. This is the same exact app as the Logos app, but with a different name, without the Guides option. I really don’t see the need of this app, since I already have the Logos App, this just seems redundant & a space waster

One request. Could you please sync to furthest read spot in a book across devices? I read sometimes on my iPad and other times on my phone and it would be perfect if I could pick right back up from where I left off. Thanks!

Looks promising.. Books downloaded are not available offline. The helpline doesn't really help. The information from this app doesn't match up to the website. It's nice that you can download all types of free books except you can only read them while you are online. The only available text offline is a King James Bible. Hopefully these kinks will be worked out sometime this century. This app really hasn't worked since I've downloaded it. Keep trying you're almost there. After further investigation it looks like you have to buy a license to download books for offline use. So this is something to consider. I had to look through all of their old message boards to figure this out. It would have been nice to have been told that up front.

I love digital books. Great interface. Not just for reading books. All of my books are searchable making this a great study app. The highlighting and note taking features are great. I will have my notes with me forever.

Pros and Cons. The good things about Vyrso have to do with its ability to share resources with Logos Bible Software, and the fact that I've found some resources through the Vyrso store that I haven't found elsewhere. The drawbacks have to do with the software itself. It's clunky. I downloaded it primarily for work-related books but am finding it difficult to actually use the app to get the most of the resources. The books themselves often have issues with italics appearing for no reason. Vyrso loses your place in books. It's difficult to highlight. And I've not yet found a way to buy a book straight through the app; you have to go to Vyrso's site to do it. I really want to like the Vyrso app but these issues make it only OK.

Not a very good book reader. No features. Vyrso is nothing but a front end for my logos collection. It has no features that kindle or iBooks has. It presents me with my thousands of books when I open it. I need collections so I can track the books I am reading. I read several daily devotions every day. To open these books I have to go to the search and weed through thousands of books to find the one I want. The search is slow and will regularly not show me the books I want. It takes many minutes between each book which makes reading several daily devotional a a time consuming and tedious operation. I can type in the exact title and the book is listed several several screens down. I need to be able to have collections and add books to favorites, not just pages. This is useless since it does nothing different from logos or faithlife.

Unstable platform. I recently my iPad to a iPond aire3. With my old iPad there was little instability But the aire 3 produces a very weak stability and must be restarted often while using.

Decent ebook reader, wishing for new features :). - Most ebook readers I've used give you page numbers or something helpful like how far, percentage-wise, you're into the book. The book shows a progress bar, but again, it doesn't tell you the percentage of the way you're into the book, and it's useful to at least know the percentage for apps like Goodreads, where you can report your book reading status by last page read or percentage into the book. - If I move around in the book, I have no easy way of knowing where I was if I forgot to bookmark or highlight near my last reading. The new option in some Kindle books allows you to scroll through a book, while it holds the last page read in the background. Something like that would be useful :)

Great annotation tool, great selection. This app has been such a boon to me. The array of themes and titles is astounding, and the annotation tools blow other book apps out of the water. I engage with the text using a wide variety of annotations including double underlining, boxes for key words, color-coding, and so on, and this is the only reader app I know to offer all those options. Best of all, being on Vyrso's e-mail list has opened my library to some wonderful reads via their limited-time free offers. Significant works by modern authors such as John Piper as well as older classics by C.S. Lewis have come into my possession this way, with a new free selection made available each month.

Excellent selection of books. Easier to get books and read them digitally. Good app!

Good companion to logos. Great app and companion to logos. It's helpful to have access to the bible verses that are reference in books which is its strength over other readers, such as kindle. I like the split screen option too. Id like to see a favourite books menu

Good & Getting Better. I am enjoying this app now. I am a bit confused as to how it all fits in with the other iPad apps like Faith Life & Logos. Perhaps there is a paper or document that explains all of this.

Bob Dangerfield. This is a great app that enables me access to a wide range of resources and books. The offers given by Vyrso are practical and excellent value. I truly appreciate having this app.

Position in Chapter. It's good for reading eBooks, but I would like to know where I am in a chapter. In a paper book, you hold your place and flick through the pages. Other eBook readers have place markers for both place in chapter and place in book.

Helpful resource. I like the app and the resources it makes available. Ebooks are a little pricey by comparison though, and it would be much better if you could read them offline.

Great asset. I love having my books available wherever I go. I can read on my computer, phone or tablet. No more wasting time on public transport or in waiting rooms. I love that all my books are available so I can continue or start something new. An added bonus is that it does not overload my very full bookshelves :)

What's the point??. I'm really struggling to find any point in this app which is nothing more than a scaled down version of £ogo$. Kindle and even iBooks provide a far better experience with the benefit that you don't have to be online to read.

Go for it. Great reading app - that I can access my logos library and books on. Functions well and you can read two books in a split screen and not lose your spot.

Good source of Christian books. Would be good to have a link to open the purchasing website from in the app. Maybe it's there but I didn't find it. The range of books is good but hopefully will increase even further.

Wonderful. I have been using this app for a couple of years, to be able to cross reference bibles and keep notes is what I find so wonderful. To do the same thing the old way juggling hefty bibles and trying to make notes was a long winded affair. I also like to read Christian novels i wrote a review of a novel i particularly liked and received a personal response from the author. I recommend this app to everyone I know.

Great app for IPad. This is a great app that connects your logos library to the IPad for the times when you only want/need a simple reading function. I find that the logos app can be too useful when I am wanting to just read through various books which makes this app a better faster option.

Great app would be great if Read aloud option is included. It is great to have Vyrso as well as other Logos apps to have more than one book open at any time! I always choose Vyrso to purchase my e-books. It would be better if a text to speech function is included. Highly recommended.

A great find. This is a great app if you have Logos Bible software. It instantly made my Logos library available on my iPad. Now I can read my Logos library anywhere. I'm thrilled.

Great eReader. If you've got a selection of Vyro/Logos books, this does the job. It'd be nice if it took some nice ideas from other readers, like displaying how many pages are left in a chapter / section / book...or even better, reading time left.

What's the difference?. This seems to be exactly the same as the Logos Bible Software app! Not sure what the difference is supposed to be?

Enjoying the app. It's well integrated with the LOGOS app, plus as a reader who wants to track highlights, notes, quotes etc they are all synced with LOGOS and searchable - which is brilliant!

Why change what was so good?. This app, which I mainly use for my daily reading with 'Connect the Testaments', was great. The they did an upgrade. Now I just wish I could undo that, but they won't tell me how I can go back. A disappointed user.

App Collects All Feedback. In the app Settings, there is an item called “Send Feedback”. It gives three options: (1) All, (2) Anonymous, and (3) None. However, if you choose, None, then exit Settings, then tap Sync your data (also in app Settings), then go back into Settings to check, you will find that Send Feedback has reset itself to All. Hoping this deceptive bug gets squashed soon!

Good Reader. This is a fine eBook reader that has the bonus of being able to instantly look up bible verses with a simple click. The program can be a bit slow at time because it is web dependant but you can download your books to your device and get a bit better performance.

Great app. I love book apps, and I love how this app has the Bible side-by-side with your book! With a tap, BOOM! It jumps to a reference. The only thing I wish it has was to be able to have a section to jump to notes. I was looking for one yesterday and then I read the same request in a comment below. Four stars since your app works magnificently in what it's supposed to do, but if I'm reading the book for school (and it did not have many scripture references) I'd get it from kobo or kindle as they allow me to find my notes faster. If for whatever reason there is this functionality within the app and I find it, I'll change this rating to full 5 and This will be by far my favorite book app. Joshua Michalski

Vyrso. This application allows me to take my study mobile. I have been a Logos user for many years. Now the work I do in my study I can do when on the road. No highlighting?. I was reading one of the books from my Logos library when suddenly I found myself very inspired by a passage, I looked for a means to highlight it, alas there was none. No highlighter in this "reader app"? Highlighting, bookmarking and note taking are all missing. Perhaps Vyrso should go back into the shop until these basic functions are added to it.

Good, but. If u want a reader and this one has the books. Use it, its as good as the kindle app.

Crash on startup. Would love to try this out, but after signing in, it crashes every time. After signing in, the words "Preparing Library" appear, the program briefly looks like it will load (I ever-so-quickly see my list of books), and then it crashes. Will adjust my rating once this is fixed. But I really love (love!) the direction of Logos to make my library cross-platform compatible.

Excellent app. Excellent app that syncs seamlessly with my Logos library. Great for reading e books on my iPad, especially during those 'middle-of-the-night' times I don't want to get out of bed or turn on the lights.

Logos/Vyrso on iPad gen 1. I bought this used generation 1 iPad because it was large enough to hold my entire library for both Logos & Vyrso. I do most of my Bible study and reading on my iPad now that notes and highlighting are both supported so well. I use these apps every day. Some folks on the Logos forums warned me that I would spend too much time performing resource updates, but it is not a problem. And it is great to not worry about being at a hot spot no matter where my links lead me.

Great addition to Logos. I really enjoy using Vyrso in two ways. Many of my Logos books are meant to be read as much as searched, and Vyrso is a wonderful ereader with nice highlighting and note taking integration. Also, i have used it a lot as a second Logos screen on the ipad. That gives me the possibility of easily switching between a few open resources.

Hmmm. Seems there is more to come, like actually purchasing books. If you want to compete with Kindle, you will need to work as good and beat least as inexpensive. Plus will be scripture tie in, but why do we need Vyroso if we already have (the awesome) Logos? Vyroso is crashing every time I flip the page now on my iPad 1...needs significant improvement... I bought the special book "The Facade" for $.99 which is a good read so far, but I have to read it on Logos.

Thumbs. Up.. I love this App it is really informative and I like the variety of books that we could read for free because I feel education is very important and helps Society form into intellectual individual. Having material for you to read increases the incentive to do so and it gives a chance to people that cannot afford books or extra books a chance to learn about stuff they really have a desire to learn about. CG. I like this app and I have received some great free books. I haven't explored a lot yet, but have read many reviews and have discovered there are many options I can check out. I haven't had any issues with any part of Vyrso & look forward to learning just what this app can do & how it can help me!

Great reader. This program is a great reader for any book in your logos library as well as many other books made just for Vyrso. As a logos user, I have hundreds of books in my logos library that are meant to be read and not used for biblical study/research. I use this app to do that leaving the logos app to do study with.

JoAnne. This is by far my favorite app and for many reasons. I have Bibles, books, commentaries all available for true convenience; and if I have any problems maneuvering around the app I have a customer service team ready and MOST willing to help. It is the greatest app available for anyone at any level of study.

Fair. It's not terrible. It requires internet to pull up footnotes and pages. It's not a true download I guess. Kindle operates better allowing you to store the whole book, footnotes and all and not have to be connected to the internet to keep updated. I also didn't like how it would not stay on the page where I left off reading on my iPod. Reading on the iPad, I haven't had this problem so I'm not sure what's up with that. I have a few books purchased so I will read them but I can't see using this app as my main reading app...unless the books are so cheap it would be stupid not to.

teacher. This is a wonderful app. My books always download very quickly within the app. I love the selection of books, Bibles and other resources. I think it is awesome that the majority of my books have been "freebies" and the others were very affordable. "Thank you" to the app developers and all other members of the VYRSO team. Your Logos Library at your fingertips. Although I'm not sure how this app is much different than the Logos app which is why I give four stars. You just can't use all the study tools. Another standing complaint I have with the Logos apps is the lack of smooth scrolling. I understand the whole eBook interface, but, particularly with Bible study books, it would be nice to be able to smooth scroll to an exact passage, so that it is not broken over a page turn. Otherwise, an easy to use and very useful app.

Excellent companion to Logos!. I'm not sure of all the reasons Faithlife has a separate app for certain books like Vyrso, BUT this app provides a smooth and customizable reading experience. It's integration with Logos makes it most valuable to me. My highlights, notes (everything) integrates right into Logos to be available for searching, quoting, and use in preaching & teaching. I give it 5 stars.

I get it now. After spending some time with the great ppl at Logos on their forums I know understand the intent behind Vyrso and thus change my rating to 3 stars. The reason being three instead of 4 or 5 is the lack of "eye candy" and a few other feature that are missing like highlighting that are also available on other ereaders. Thanks to all at logos for being so patient with me.

Best eReader. Awesome ebook reader, with superb note-taking features, etc. I really wish I could use this to read my regular .mobi and ePub books. One tip: Make sure you "download" your books locally, it doesn't do that by default the way Kindle does, and if they're not downloaded, you occasionally get page-turn pauses while it buffers the book...

Good reading app. This is a good app. It lacks some basic functionality like bookmarking. Also highlighting a passage takes a few steps, which is a little annoying. Over all, it's a good app though, and there are lots of books to choose from. Ongoing page scrolling would be great too, instead of only flipping pages.

Sunday School Teacher. With the current upgrade I find the app much easier to use on my iPad. My 6 year-old grandson can navigate it easily. Love being able to reference my books quickly. Been a great addition to LOGOS when I am away from my home computer Highly recommend it for adding to one's library

Good Improvements. Adding underling and note taking has really made this app much more versatile. It is a great way to read books you may already have in your Logos collection and add new books to the collection. The underlining feature and note-taking feature both sync with the Logos version of the book. That makes this very valuable. Well done!

Great resource. I travel a lot. The combination of the Vyrso and Logos apps works great for my study on the road. I read my devotionals (currently focused on Spurgeon) on Vyrso, and easily flip over to Logos for my bible and commentaries. Using the split screen functionality I can effectively have four resources open at the same time. And it all syncs back to my desktop. Love it!

Bought an eBook that required the Vyrso Reader. So I installed the free Vyrso reader and did a double take when I opened it on my iPad. Not only was the new eBook ready to be read but so also were all the Logos books I had purchased for years. Now I can download on my iPad any book in my Logos library before my next P-70 mission trip. This will help me to better prepare devotions and messages even in the dark-of-night without disturbing others. I recommend this fine reader which allows linking Bible references to my iPad Bible.

Wonderful app. I love being able to keep a book from my Logos library open in Vyrso to read when I have a chance. I can always come back to where I left off, and if I read on a different device, it allows me to jump to the current place in the book. Yes, there are a few punctuation errors, but Vyrso/Logos is continually improving, so I expect these to be corrected eventually.

Missing the basics. Doesn't have the basic functionality of most ereader apps. I can highlight but have to flip pages of the book to find the highlights. The highlights should be in one convenient location for easy retrieval. Same can be said of the note functionality. I dog ear physical books to mark places I want to return. The bookmark function serves the same purpose in other apps. No pages numbers either. I still use it but disappointed.

Helpful to use with Logos App. Extremely helpful tool for me to use it along with the logos bible. They are both synced with my logos account, so whichever books I purchased, I can access through both. Sometimes I use logos app for commentary, but I can always use Vyrso as the bible specific app. It's like multi tasking on my iPad. It's awesome. As someone in pastoral positional, all the penny I spent for logos seem to worth very much.

I really like this for what its meant for. I like the idea behind this. A simple app just for reading your resources. I find it more stable then the Logos iOs app so when I only need to read, I think I will use this app. Thanks for it. Only feature request would be highlight functionality for easier note functionality, though I'm very thankful for the select and copy/past.

Good app. I read a lot of ebooks, I aim to read about 50 a year. I find myself reading more with the vyrso app then I used to. One thing I really appreciate is the variety of highlighter pens. I like the concept of my digital highlights looking a little "sloppy" because when I read a physical book,they are NEVER perfectly straight lines. One thing I'm not the biggest fan of, is the bookmark ability, I wish they would change it so that the reader could actually see the bookmark on the last page read.

Could Be Great with Improvements. A very basic ebook reader for Logos titles you already own. This is not a bad idea, but the app needs more stability and features to really be worthwhile. No note-taking or highlighting. No bookmarking. Cannot sort library list, create categories, separately view titles available offline, etc. Hopefully, this is just an initial effort to be followed by many more updates - that would be nice. I have a number of non-reference book titles in my Logos library that I would enjoy reading on my iPad using Vyrso, so I am holding out hope.

Good Devotional reader. I use this app daily for my devotions it's easy to use. However the most frustrating thing is it constantly needs the internet to read the Bible. I have the Bible downloaded but if I lose wifi or internet is slow then I'm stuck with white pages. Logos does the same. Without data this app is dead in the water.

Wonderful!. This app is a wonderful must-have for anyone who reads from the iPad. I love how simple it is to view e-books and the Bible. The software does a wonderful job of getting out of the way but is always there when you need it. Over the last 2 days of use, I have read straight through 1 Samuel all the way through 2 Chronicles. I absolutely love this app. Well worth 5 stars.

Gave up!. I drive cars that are reliable and the same goes for my devices and apps. After multiple attempts to download 4.3.0 from June 9 to now June 21, I'm giving up. This app is going on the trash heap. I have nothing more to say, other than the review I wrote earlier, but apparently wasn't able to submit, about previous issues. You can read that now: Buggy and Unusable I can't even use this app, as it is in perpetual loading mode of a book it says it can't load. It just flashes repeatedly on the screen that it can't load whatever book. I can't do anything. It just continues to try loading it. Not sure how this happened. The only thing it lets me do is submit a rating. Okay, here it is.

Continually Improving. Thanks for making a great app better! I've been using Vyrso for some time in conjunction with my Logos library and love the functionality. My only complaint was that I could not scroll up between pages. You've just answered that request which makes it so much nicer for highlighting. Now I can more easily highlight as I don't have to stop at the page break and start at the top of the next page.

Thrilled and Amazed. It is a different experience to read a. Book-resource from library on my IPhone than on my computer. I have been reading 1 & 2 Thessalonians in the Wesleyan Tradition leisurely on my IPhone and it is so enriching to just travel along with Paul and abide in Christ. I am amazed that all of my books are available on the shelf and can be accessed on the sidebar. It gives a path to living it.

Great Start. As with all the LOGOS products -- this is an outstanding product. There are many books available and they are reasonably priced. The reading program allows you to read online, or download to your device. This is a great start. I would like to see the addition of highlighting and bookmarking. With these additions it would be an outstanding app. It would also be nice if copied sections would include the citation information. Thanks LOGOS!

Amazing!. This App is amazing! I have all my content from my desktop now on my iPhone! Don't get me wrong however, there is room for improvement like: faster loading times, enhancements on searchablities, and other user friendly improvements. Over all, this is a money saving App that allows you to carry your desktop library with you on your iPhone and saves you from making unnecessary purchases. And it's FREE!

Close but not there.. The app works as a reader, but as other reviews have stated it pulls a lot material from my Logos library. I was in hopes of have the app be the reader for just reading. However with the app bringing in the library it makes finding a book a difficult task. The developers need to figure out what they want the app to do. I am in hopes that it will move towards a reader app that works as part of the Logos environment and not in competition with.

Great for a little reading. I have the "big" Logos app on my PC, and Vyrso is really handy for reading bits and pieces now and then. Like having a super-powered devotional tool (ie all the Logos resources) on my phone. And I have this on my tablet, too, for more in-depth reading. The built-in scripture lookup links are extremely handy, and one of the main reasons I use the app.

Great app and a wonderful library. I love using the devotional app, although at the beginning switching between the referenced scripture and the devo is cumbersome. Also highlighting is takes too many steps-- I recommend just selecting the highlight will actually highlight and give us the option to select a different color if we choose.

another winner. I also own the Logos Bible Software app for Windows and iOS. this is a wonderful adjunct to those programs. I use it for reading when I don't want all the added resources. Particularly useful are the automatic links to scripture references using my preferred Bible. You can read the referenced verse without having to change programs.

One wish - scrolling. This app is excellent and I am very happy with it. If it is possible to add scrolling as I read (instead of page "turning") I think it would be even better. Personal preference for sure and I won't stop using the app because of the lack of that option. Thank you for making this app possible and thank you for access to Christian materials; often for free. Great App. This is an excellent app and puts the Logos library on my iPad for easy access and research. You can select which books you want to download and have available offline. You truly can become a walking resource library or at least carry it with you wherever you go. Outstanding and very practical app that I highly recommend.

Just what I needed. I can't believe I didn't know this existed until a couple of days ago. This is a true "reading" app that gives you access to all your Logos books, and books you add to Vyrso also show up in your Logos library. This is perfect for those books you don't use for reference but would actually read cover to cover. Would it be trite to call it a Godsend?

Disappointed. I thought there would be a place to browse books to add to my library but there wasn't. It only shows a few books that you can read while online but does not give the option to purchase them. I'm not sure if I will even keep this app. I was really hopeful because there really isn't any apps that focus on Christian books and authors. I think this would be a really good app if you could browse more selection of books and have the option to purchase them.

Love the Accessibility. I love the new interface provided with the 3.0 update. I think the best part about this app is having all of my favorite Christian ebooks in one place. The one-touch Bible references is an extremely useful feature that makes reading Christian Living titles so much easier (I'm the lazy guy that never cross-checked a reference in print books). I used to think I wouldn't like reading on a screen, but now that I've read nearly a dozen ebooks I don't know how I survived reading print books. Thanks for creating an excellent product!

Up and mobile, awesome!. Free has become a term relighted to a sales pitch in order to get your money. Not in this case. This free app has allowed me to gain access to my library on a mobile platform that includes text highlights and adding passage notes that aid in research and recall. Excellent equipment! Update: Now that I have an iPad, the features are quite profound. One suggestion would include direct inductive note making directly onto the page. The iPad platform with a stylus would make this a perfect pair.

Logo's does it again. This is the cleanest of all the readers because it allows you to not only read but open a bible with it as all references linked and available while reading making it more efficient to read, study and enjoy. I just wish they would secure more reference for me to read lol

Buggy. This application needs to be updated. After purchasing a book with iBooks or Nook the entire book is saved in my library. Unfortunately, with the book I purchased through Vyrso, after a few chapters I had to enable my Wifi connection to download more of the book. This happens repeatedly. The application crashes or freezes frequently. As of my last use the program loads and may or may not change pages before locking up or crashing. I rebooted my iPad 2, but the problems persist. This is the only reader I've encountered that performs so poorly. Back to the drawing board guys. This iteration is a dud.

Great app if you are a logos user. This app allows you to access your logos library without going through the more complicated menus of the actual logos app. This allows you to read your books, highlight, and make notes much the same as the logos app. The page controls are the same as the logos app as well.

Use it all the time!. I love using the Vyrso app for reading, and study! Not only do I find the resources I'm looking for, but usually for less than comparable apps or sites for e-books. I definitely use this app as much if not more than my Kindle app. It works seamlessly with my Logos program on my PC as well as my IPad mini. I definitely recommend this app to anyone!

Vyrso. This is a must have for all believers, and for those who are looking for answers about eternity, God, living the life God made for you to live tons of free books, daily devotionals, bibles, commentaries, materials to study whatever you want. You will never be sorry you gave Jesus a chance to show you who he is on a personal level, and the awesome plan he has for your life now and through eternity.

Excellent app. Excellent app. Keep working on improvements: Need to be able to sync hidden books, or ability to hide books on tablet app so searches happen faster. Needs ability to set up a group of books to limit searches to group instead of entire library. Needs ability to remove unused books from collections or library.

Great product. This is an excellent app that has a very wide selection to choose from. As one who typically only reads reformed writers, this app has introduced me to many authors, preachers, pastors and theologians, who though not reformed, have great knowledge and insights. There certainly are many reformed authors as well. I would highly recommend it not only for its content but it's ease of use.

Invaluable Travel Library. Whenever I travel, Vyrso allows me to take my library with me on my iPad. No more carrying a load of books with me everywhere I go! But even in my study, I continue to use Vyrso because of the ease with which I can mark up my (electronic) books and keep track of my personal study notes.

Bad e-reader. There is only one good feature here and that's the scripture references that are built in. But besides that just about everything is problematic. 1. No syncing between devices? 2. No place-holding? I can't remember how many times I lost my place in this app. 3. The double screen reading thing? It's impractical and annoying (with no shut off). 4. Default columns are set to automatic which means it switches columns (up to 4) on you regularly. 5. comes pre-loaded with lots of books I don't want but no choice to delete them! I only downloaded this app to make use of the free ebook offer. But I won't use it for anything else once I've finished the book. Poorly designed e-reader! The worst I've used!
