Trying this program out for our church. So far I love the program and how functional it is for a variety of team members to access and edit things... Still trying to figure out how to use it and still be able to adjust the slides as we go. We don't time our service out to a gnats eyebrow, and it isn't all planned out, so being able to see thumbnails of the next few slides or scroll thru them separately would be helpful. I don't know yet if that's already available but if it isn't I haven't noticed it yet. One think I notice that is amazing is it seems nearly anyone could sit down and use this thing, unlike Mediashout.

Some reliability issues need addressing. Beautiful design with excellent features implementation. Unfortunately, connectivity issues make it risky to depend on.

Pretty good. I like the remote aspect, but it crashes too often. I also wish they would give the option to edit your slides and slide order from your idevice rather than making you use a computer.

Fix this app!. Love the software! The software works great with what we need. Although the software is great, the app is of no basic use for us. It has yet to work with controlling the slides. It refuses to work on my iPhone or iPad.

Not ready for prime time. I am a big fan of Logos software but this App is totally unusable on a Sunday morning when you actually have to use it. As it currently works both the iOS device and the computer controlling the project have stay in sync with the Logos servers, which on a Sunday morning are totally overwhelmed. During the week it works. Very poor planning.

Not the best. First, and most importantly, I do not like the new logo as it looks older than the old one. Second, the app is very inconsistent. Sometimes it responds promptly, sometimes not.

Not so great. The remote apps rarely work. If the remote app doesn’t work correctly then why is the church having to pay for the program

Pastor. What happened to the note feature I can't see my notes for each slide only the slide itself don't like the new version upgrade

Fix a bug. This app has some connecting issues

Notes are gone!!. It says that notes are a bug fix, but notes are gone completely! Please add back or let us be able to add a previous version.

Sometimes works (but with delay). When it works, there’s still usually a 1-2 second delay. I’ve got it to run smoothly many times during rehearsals. Most times though it’s not reliable and it fails to advance the slide when we need it during service.

Did Not work for me. When I opened this app it did not work. All it does is load for as long as I have it open. I like the look of it so please fix.

Good software. Looking forward to new features. A great application for work with the Proclaim media software. Looking forward to new features like slide edit for on the fly fixes

Great! Plus some remarks. This makes it so easy for the only tech savy person/pastor in the church to run beautiful presentations on their own. There have been crash scenerios that I have had the sound guy back me up by running the computer on my signal. They happen rarely. I wish they wouldn't happen at all but not so sure it is Proclaim; might be our Wi-Fi. East to use. Wish as others have said that I could do some editing from remote iPad. Overall, great package!

Remote app not always reliable. As a pastor of a small church who uses it to move through my scriptures and presentation it leave me hanging quite often and someone has to advance the slides for me from the sound booth. I love the concept just needs the bugs fixed.

Good software with serious limits. The Proclaim software is awesome, but this app has significant limitations. You cannot use this app to launch a presentation. You can only use it to control a presentation after it is launched. Since presentations are in the cloud, this should be an easy addition. If I could launch a presentation from this app and rearrange slides, I would call this a Grand Slam app. Without those features, it is not very useful in my environment at all.

Needs an update. More and more I’m having problems connecting to the presentation, even using the local WiFi option. Won’t load the slide previews or respond to advance slide commands. Switching between apps often interrupts the connection as well, and our sound system is also controlled by app so that is necessary. Currently using my phone for proclaim and the iPad for sound. It works, but not ideal. Please update!!!

App Crashes. Whenever I tap the control button the app crashes. I am running latest app on latest iOS version.

keep someone in the sound both. The remote apps are pretty half baked. they have the potential of being something really special with the slide and then the notes listed below, but stability is a real problem. Some weeks the app just out right refuses to work, other weeks works pretty good, maybe crashing once or twice. Gonna give it the year (already paid for it) and see if they can get it working. otherwise the software on the desktop has been great.

Good... But. App is simple enough to use. The only improvement needed is for the motion backgrounds to work on this app. Then it would a nice star. If this app still in its early stages, please consider this suggestion. I love this app and the Proclaim software itself.

Review. This was one of the first cloud based presentation apps. It is being constantly improved. I love the the web based sign screens. Simplicity itself. We have several screens around the church and they work flawlessly. Such a great feature! I recommend this to all my friends who don’t have trained staffs who operate their technical equipment because the program is simple to learn and use but has tons of features you can use as your skills grow, such as integration with logos, or CCI. I really love this program and our team does as well. I have eliminated several other programs because of all this does.

Needs reconnect functionality. Our church uses this app for slides during services. We keep an iPad on the stage for different leaders to have control of the slides from there, but we also partly control the slides from a laptop. If we switch presentations from the laptop, the iPad is disconnected. Every time this happens it is an ordeal. We would like the app to automatically reconnect when the presentation is changed.

Not quite there. Solid app with great potential, just too unstable for becoming a true remote app. Granted I'm on an iPhone. Would love to see a more robust version on an iPad

Won’t work. I connect great and presentation shows up. However, it will not let me control it. I have an iPhone 11 and the softwares updated to the latest version. Would give it a 5 star it if worked at 100%

Works Great!. I see a lot of previous bad reviews talking about the the app crashing. I guess the problems are now fixed because I am not having those issues.

It does what it does. There is nothing terrible about this app. But there's also nothing impressive. It allows the user to either control the presentation remotely or follow. (Although, I'm not sure of the purpose of "following" since you can only see that current slide, which more than likely is up at the front of the room/auditorium/sanctuary.) A few suggestions for making this a 5 star app: -Give quick screen access from the remote for those controlling. I want to be able to use the quick screen on screen bible while preaching, all from the lectern/pulpit. -All those who "follow presentation" to see all previous and upcoming slides. This actually creates some advantage to following along and would allow (for instance) pastors and staff to quickly look up the presentation to double check something coming up is indeed there or correct without giving them full control of what everybody sees. -Would be great to be able to set up or change recording cues from the app. -Finally, Proclaim needs to give iPad (and especially iPad Pro) users more ability to create and edit from these more than capable machines. There needs to be a full blown Proclaim app that our presentation team can use instead of having to boot up their desktop just to run the software. This is the year 2017 and there's little reason why the functionality has to be limited to Macs and PC's. I'll admit this is a bit of a frustration with the Logos app as well, but at least there are some things that can be created and edited from the stripped down Logos experience found in the App Store.

Great app. I believe people that are having connectivity issues are mainly due to networking and not the app itself. It works flawlessly for us but we have a robust wireless network. A few things I’d like to suggest or be able to help if this became open source since it’s just the remote and not the paid for app itself - slides to have banners like they do in the app, ex. chorus has a c and color, verse 1 has 1, etc, just like the app - change the preview mode, on a tablet, it be nice to have the tiles instead of a giant preview and a slider of tiles - the ability of On screen Bible to show the text in the preview Love that app (the main app and the remote)! Keep it up. More API commands would be great too!

Great. This is a great app, but it is sticking up to much, needs to be a little bit more updated and needs to stop crashing on me but after all great app!

Layout. Would prefer if you could make a grid option that mimics the desktop version to select a slide. The layout just is too limited.

Crashes Continually. I love the Proclaim software as it has made our church's media ministry so happy! I found this app to control the presentation from my phone and thought this would be good so if our team is distracted, I can make sure the proper screen is up. I am very disappointed at the app as everything I try to connect to the Live presentation it crashes. I didn't read the reviews before downloading, but I see this is a common issues. I hope they are making a fix for this!

Not reliable. This is great for looking at the schedule, but we have tried to use it to change slides during the service and it is either extremely delayed or bounces back and forth. It would also be nice to be able to edit within the app. (Which you cannot do now)

Inconsistent functionality. Sometimes the updates cause more problems than they fix. On the whole, it’s working adequately. Could be better.

Crashes Continuously. Always crashing. Absolutely love the software but I'm not sure what the use of the app is if every time you try to do something it crashes. Cool idea though.

Use to work. I’m not sure what happen. Everything is to work fine but now it’s absolutely terrible. Please fix the remote feature

What a Joke. This app rarely every works to control the presentation. We have a new MacBook Pro with an up to date iPad Mini. We have the option of a local WiFi network with no internet or a school WiFi system with internet. It works on neither of those. When it does connect, it’ll time out, lag, or completely freeze. Resetting the app, the iPad, the computer, the routers. Nothing works. Our church will be looking into a better presentation software where the app control is more consistent and reliable.

Crashing on local. It is crashing almost immediately when on local network. You keep saying you have updated the big but it hasn't gotten better only worse! I have an up to date iPad Pro with the January 7 update and it is still not fixed!

Yes.. I've been waiting for Proclaim for months, and I haven't been disappointed. Used it for the first time last Sunday morning, it is amazingly intuitive. The app is ok, it's free so I'm not going to complain a whole lot, but I would like to see a little more functionality. The ability to make basic (textual) changes to slides, move things around, etc from the app would go a long way. Still a great program and a great app. *Update: app no longer works. It connects and shows me the slide I'm on, but no longer actually changes slides. Please fix!

Awesome. This is awesome and will really Help out my church

Come on. You have to uninstall and reinstall the app to change accounts?!

Awesome Software Package. I love the software but I have a few issues controlling the presentation via my iPhone 4. It doesn't like to scroll, but I think that is my learning curve and not the hardware or software. 5 stars!

Inconsistent connection and crashes. This app is a great concept and when it works it is really nice for those controlling slides. But it has a tendency to be very inconsistent in connecting to the program which slows response time and causes the slide view from the app to sometimes not load. It has a tendency to freeze or jump slides randomly more often than I like and there isn’t an option to pause loops when set. Lastly, there have been several occasions when the app crashes or loses full connection unexpectedly and requires a restart of the app or frantically getting to the manual program connection in the middle of worship service. Love it when it works, can be frantic when it doesn’t. Not reliable at all...

Connection problem. Two Sundays in a row now the app connects for the first service but not for the second. I can flip through my slides from my iPhone 5 just fine first service, but it tells me "unable to connect" second service. Although, on the media computer it shows me connected as a controller. Very annoyed. Considering a different program that is dependable.

Excellent use of technology!. Would love to be able to edit slides and the presentation. Keep up the great work proclaim!

Little functionality. Very little usefulness

Not Same as Desktop. The app works just fine as a controller, but I am curious, do y’all have an app that is similar to the one for desktop? I have since switched over to using iPad only and now I cannot edit slides in collaboration mode with fellow church staff. Is there in alternative to this issue? I could really use help.

"Slide Change Error" Never fails. When it works, this is a great app. However MOST of the time, slide changes are laggy and sluggish despite good, fast wifi connection on both devices. I always get a "slide change error" in the middle of every church service and it looks very unprofessional and just bad. Please fix as this is a major issue.

Not Functional. The program will not load. It never has and perhaps never will. Pity, it is a great concept!

Log out bug. App is great but with latest version if you logout you cannot log back in unless you uninstall and reinstall.

Would Be Great If It Worked Reliably. I’ve never been able to rely on this app because it fails to connect of looses it’s connection so often. I would love something like the Keynote app for my iPad that allows me to control my presentation with confidence. When you’re in front of 300 people running a service, there isn’t room for app crashes or loss of activity. The only thing I use this for occasionally is to look up a slide in advance using the Follow feature, but even that isn’t always reliable. This basic level of dependability would be necessary for me to seriously use this app. Next level would be to let me edit slides from my iPad (as I can in Keynote). My iPad is my main computer. It would be great to not have to run to my Mac just to make a small edit to a slide.

Can’t control presentations. Logos doesn’t seem interested in making this app any better.

No features. Unable to do any editing of any kind. Please do a shrink down version of the desktop app. Thank you!

Changing slides is still clunky. I like the new changing indicator, but having to go to the server and back instead of a LAN response means that it's very slow. It changed slide, still had the changing indicator, and then gave me a pop up saying it couldn't confirm the slide change. It did in fact change, but I then had to dismiss the pop up to continue changing slides. For things like song lyrics, this could be come problematic on slow networks. I would love to see a simple 'next' and 'previous' control for the slides as well. Even if it's an option for people to turn on or off (I'm sure others would be too worried about accidentally hitting it)

Keeps crashing. Has some helpful features and clear layout. However, doesn’t fill me with confidence to use for the music team etc. during the service when it crashes 4 times in 2 minutes while I test it at home. Hoping there is an update soon with Bux fixes.

Good, but needs to have chorus or bridge buttons. Works fine for going to the next slide, but for song lyrics it really needs to have a button to go straight to the chorus and bridge like the hot keys do on the desktop version The buttons would fit perfectly above the bottom slides preview Thanks

Very buggy. It has a lot of potential but it has a lot of bugs. Sometimes it loses connection and I have to restart the remote. Not great when it disconnects in the middle of a presentation. Needs some drastic big fixes

Remote works great. This app does exactly what it says it will do. It would be that much better if it allowed you to edit or create new presentations as well.

Editing Support. This app has been a saviour when it comes to wireless functionality and on the go notes. I think it’s time to take this app even further with editing capability. It’s 2023. No more do we exist in the era of iPads being used to view pictures. They are now becoming powerful tools that professionals are using across the globe. I really would love to see support for editing either on a different app altogether, or a modified existing version.

De lo peor. De las peores apps que he usado. La app no funciona como control.

Not functional enough. Use Case 1: Remote Slide Projection (Normal Sunday Service). I'd hoped to use this app to recruit more volunteers to our tech team, since theoretically all they'd need to do is click through the slides that I’d put together. However, the app’s response time is so slow that I’m hesitant to let our veterans try using it, let alone new people. Use Case 2: Sermon projection. In an ideal world, all church presentations would run from the program. Due to PowerPoint’s prevalence, however, this isn’t possible. One might expect, however, to be able to import a PowerPoint to Proclaim (not possible) or at least the slides saved as images (possible). However, the image previews do not load on the app, so controlling the presentation from the app is impossible. Use Case 3: Proclaim is awesome for our VBS needs. I can import the music videos and click on them to play them, rather than fight with a DVD player. It would have been really nice to be able to hand an iPad with this app on it to the music leader’s assistant so they could control things themselves, but videos appear with only the first frame as the thumbnail (black, in this case) and without a title indicated. All the videos look identical on the app. It would also be nice to view things in the grid preview mode, rather than full, since that’s an option on the program. At least the app looks pretty.
