Really useful. I've found it useful in my quest to master Swedish. Other apps have pronunciations buffet they're are machines and more very good. The fact that these are locals pronouncing the words of their language is really useful.

App is unusable. I have TWO stars instead of ONE because the web platform is a holy grail in my language learning tool kit, however the app is unusable from both my phone and iPad, which are both recent models and updated to the most recent iOS. I open it, I can’t even finish typing something in the search bar before it freezes and force quits. It does the same thing from either device. So there are bugs that need to be worked out, but this would be great if it actually worked. So I’ll just have to use the desktop interface until this gets updated to a functional level.

Forvo. Not what I’m looking for. Firstly, why do I have to sign up? I see no purpose in that. Secondly, why do I have to give the English word to get the Spanish translation/pronounciation and vice-versa? Why can’t I just paste the Spanish word and simply hear the translation? I’ll find another app. Even Google Translate is more straightforword than this one!

Last update not working. I used it for a long time and I love it. Please, fix the problem with the latest update. I’ve lost my favorites and is not working. Thx

Waste of money. This app does not really work, I payed for it because someone recommended it but it doesn’t do what I am looking for. I tried to look for the phonetics symbols to learn how to pronounce better, it doesn’t have it. Also, the app supposed to record your voice and probably it would give you feed back, but the record never gets sent. There are better free apps than this one.

My only trusted pronunciation source. This app has native speakers pronouncing words in their own language. Pronunciations are vetted by app users. Users can offer their own pronunciations. It’s a reliable system.

App doesn’t work. Despite the bad reviews, I wanted to download because it would be useful for my language study. But I downloaded and immediately the app didn’t work. Couldn’t get the sign in page to work. Error when I tried to connect via Apple ID or google. And can’t access the actual recordings.

Fabulous!. I am delighted with this app!! My vocabulary exceeds my ability to pronounce often....so this app is my helper when that happens! Wouldn't want to be without it!

Update broke login. Ever since last weeks update I cannot log into the app. I am able to log in via the website, but when I put my login info into the app I keep being told an error has occurred. There is no way for me to bug report within app so I am resorting to this!

Great resource. Glitchy when trying to create a profile.

Very helpful. I’m studying OBOD bardic course work, and come across some words I need to hear and understand it’s pronunciation this app has come in very handy for those words which I to translate into English.

Great App, but please add Landscape.. This is a very useful tool to help with pronunciation. The only feature missing is landscape view. I use this app on my iPad which I use almost entirely in landscape mode, so it would be nice to have that feature. Otherwise, I’m happy with the app.

Such a scam!. ‼️ DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ‼️ I stumbled across this app on google as I was trying to figure out how to pronounce a word in Nahuatl and couldn’t find anything. The website gave me an answer and so I figured I’d look up another word as I found it pretty helpful. I was then prompted to make an account so I could have access to the second word but after trying to start the account it told me my device wasn’t compatible and I needed to download the app. So, I go to the App Store and see the app costs $2.99 or so which I decided was worth it if I had access to all these pronunciations. I wont even get into the struggle of trying to make my account on the app (it took a while and I was very sure by then it was a scam) but after finally getting access to the app I looked up the word I was originally looking for and found no results. I, then, just for the fun of it decided to look up the word that had led me to the site and also couldn’t find any results. To rephrase, I couldnt find any results on the app that I paid for for a word I had looked up for free on their website and gotten a pronunciation for.

Stopped working. It was a nice app but now it doesn’t work at all. Can’t even email app support about it on their site

Amazing, but.... I would like if there were a “stay signed in” option. When I exit the app, it logs me out automatically. I’d like to stay logged in.

Landscape Mode Please. Wonderful to see this great site made available for the ipad/iphone. For those of us with Keyboards attached to our iPads, please let the interface rotate into Landscape mode. Currently we have to tilt our heads sideways to read the screen. Thanks!

why would I use this?. UPDATE: It's been over a year, so I gave it another try on my iPad. Looks like they're getting closer to being useful, but there was no way to favorite a word. Perhaps it was hidden under the three dots at the right. HOWEVER, every time I tapped on the three dots, IT CRASHED AND CLOSED. So I had to pull out an old iPhone that I never use, download an older version of the app to that, and suddenly the three dots worked, and I was able to favorite a word. So, since I don't want to use the older iPhone, and since this app crashes on my iPad, I'm going to delete it again on my iPad, and hope they keep working on it. And I hope they'll eventually make it possible to allow me to save favorite pronunciations on my device. It they keep working on this, and make it useful, I'll give it five stars. But for now, down to one star. PREVIOUS REVIEW: Perhaps my expectations were too high. I can't really find any reason to use this. The website is easier, and better. I'll probably end up deleting this, unless they provide more functionality, like letting me save my favorite pronunciations on my device so that I can re-listen over and over without logging in. Now THAT would be helpful as I try to learn a new language.

This is absolutely ridiculous.. The app is completely nonfunctional. There’s no clear reason why you should have to sign in on the app before doing *anything* when you can search for and listen to words just fine on the website without an account. Then, it crashes repeatedly when you try to sign in or make an account. Apple should take this app out of the App Store. Obviously a waste of $3, and it’s so buggy and awful that I’m almost worried it’s malware.

Required Account Registration. I had used the app for a while and was pretty happy with it. I don’t see the point of having to create an account now to use an app that I paid. Not all users are going to record their pronunciations and post them. My simple purpose is to look up pronunciations. The app makes that one simple, essential task impossible without creating an account. If the app was free, I would have followed the requirement. Now there is no point of using the app when I can just use the web version. I don’t need another account and another password to keep track of.

Well done and so helpful!. This app is a tremendously helpful tool for anyone learning a second language or to just help with foreign words that are difficult to pronounce. The recordings are clear and these are REAL voices--not those computer generated pronunciations. There are often a few different voices for more popular words. Overall, very, very well done.

Broke in a week. Was locked out of my account, which I paid for, within a week of signing up. Now I can’t access the app and no amount of password resets can correct the problem. I’m told both of my email addresses are “inactive” and “unavailable” even though I only signed up with one of them. Find a better app.

Zero stars if possible. I was very excited to get the app, but was quickly disappointed. First of all, it didn’t allow me to sign up, as it claimed that my information was “not available.” That was really annoying. Then, I was able to somehow use it without the need for signing up, but it wasn’t what I expected. I thought it would work like the website did. I guess it’s good I only wasted $2.99.

Love companies like this. They aren’t trying to paywall or money grab, just education and helping people with pronounciation, the app works like u need it you can favorite words you are learning to properly say, underrated website

I’m learning Russian…. And I really like this app. I can hear words spoken and add words in my own native language.

Great. After years of not using this (when I heavily used it once) I find myself coming back to find the pronunciation of aponeuroses where I could not find it anywhere else for the plural version. If you find yourself unable to find something on here, just use Google Translate as a last resort.

FORVO is super useful. I have been using FORVO for probably 10 years if I remember correctly. It’s awesome and it keeps getting better.

Okay app for pronunciations, I guess. I downloaded the app because I’m learning Hebrew, but can see that it doesn’t go beyond pronunciation. Still, it’s a good resource as one may be able to listen to several different pronunciations based on where the originator of the recording is from.

Useful, but interface is rough. The app has good coverage of the one language I have used it for (Italian), but the user interface is still pretty crude. For example, will not render in landscape format on the ipad, which is pretty inconvenient when you are using the ipad with an external keyboard.

Great resource - landscape please!. As an audiobook book narrator, I have used Forvo as a great resource for years. There is only one drawback in my mind to this app. It is portrait alignment only. For some reason the designers haven’t added a landscape option if you turn your iPad to the side.

App has virtually no words. So I take the $3 plunge to help as I’m learning Swedish. Just to practice searching, I use the word, “Hello” and hit search: “Sorry, Forvo cannot find your word. Do you want to add it?” You’re kidding me, right? Sure, let’s add this FIRST WORD WE ALL LEARN in a foreign language. And the response: “Hello is already in Forvo in this language.” So where is the pronunciation? Is it a secret? It must be...along with tons of other words I’ve looked up. Yet, I can go to the website and get these words. Why charge for the app? It does less than the free website! This is a $3 ripoff and disappointment. Swedish is available in your list of languages in the app. At the bare minimum it should be supported for the most basic of terms; or you should make it clear BEFORE purchase what it can and can’t do...in this case, it can’t do anything in Swedish. Thanks for taking my money...it understood THAT language just fine. As it is, the IKEA catalog is more useful than this app.

Good. Very useful. I use it everyday... But some words are played without any sound. Except that , it's very helpful It worth the price or even more I am learning french

Used to be great but. Needs a serious update. Constantly crashing when words are spell checked by Apple. As a result mostly unusable. This is a shame because the software used to be very useful

Good idea but bad execution. My main complaints with the app interface are: not sure how often it is supposed to synchronize but it can take days, lack of control over your lists, and for some reason phrases can’t appear on your phone app, only words. It’s useful if you know what you want out of it, but come on guys, you can do better.

What?!!!. Read the description it sounded promising. I tried to register to create an account. It says the userid and the email are in use. So i’m like oh so it must have taken my first attempt even though it said it dis no. Nope. So then i use facebook to login and it tells me the user is not active..???...Most of the functions require you to be signed in.....As of this moment a waste of time and money....

I did expect a bit more.... I have used the website for years and found immense value and help. I figured that I would buy the app for a slightly more convenient use. For $2.99, I did expect a lot more functionality and content than what is available. Definitely not worth the cost, in my opinion. One problem that I have come across is that recording new words is hit or miss on the app, as maybe 30% of the words and phrases came out loud and clear enough to be worthwhile. All of these recordings were done one after another, in the same quiet environment, with the same microphone. I’ve made other recordings with this same mic with no issues, and have had 3-4 hour long conversations, again with no issues, before and after recording words for Forvo. Either the recording or the playback is having issues, but this problem only seems to exist on the Forvo app.

Forvo is amazing, but a learner should be careful. My first language is Arabic, I’ve noticed a problem with some “category work” and “spelling small vowels -Harakat-“ and those problems could be fetal if you don’t notice. A collage could become a kidney! And vice versa, hundreds of words could be contaminated like that. Otherwise, the service is incredibly useful, it helps me with my second language -English-, also with my hobby languages (Japanese, Korean) and also with any sudden interest in how a word is pronounced in any language. Finally, about the app. I really find the design more comfortable than the website. But I have two complaint: First being an able to record my reading for a word that has been recorded. Second, I can’t report or edit a word writing wrong or easily confused between two meanings; sometimes I want to make both pronunciations and writing much clearer.

Great way to learn. This app is super helpful to listen to pronunciation by native speakers. Love that the community uploads pronunciation, so your hearing not just professional dictation, but real speakers with their various dialects.

Extremely valuable 🤓👏👏👏. Being able to find actual people pronouncing words instead of computer generated voices is wonderful for learning correct pronunciation. I am studying the Russian language and there are subtleties that computer just don't get (yet). This app is still buggy and in an hour of use crashed a few times. But that is ok because it is easy to just start it up again and continue searching for pronunciations. This app deserves high marks in spite of its flaws. Bravo!

I like the app-BUT…. We need a fix to add a couple things that are easy to add. There’s a way to report an incorrect pronunciation, even your own pronunciation. We need an edit button in our profile. Yes, the option is there initially, but an edit button (in our profile, to edit what we pronounced) would be perfect. There’s a thunderstorm right now-I can hear it in the background-I didn’t notice until I already hit send. I’d love to correct that. One other issue I’d like to address: I speak Laotian/Lao. It uses a completely different alphabet. It’s unclear how to properly enter the words/phrase if you're set to (for example) American English. Should you change your profile setting to Laotian? Should you enter the foreign phrase using the Latin Alphabet, for people whom seek the phrase, who are native English speakers? Should you type the word in the Lao alphabet and add an English transliteration? That would be helpful. Laotian pronunciation isn’t easy to find (it should be!). Translations aren’t difficult to find, however, pronunciation and transliteration (especially in the same place) are very rare to come by. It’s difficult to search a word/phrase if you don’t speak Lao, but in particular, if you don’t know the alphabet. If you are illiterate in Lao, it’s much easier to see the words written in the Latin alphabet. It would make it much easier understand the word being pronounced.

Great recourse. Thank you for this incredible resource. Its a fantastic tool for language learners and anyone interested in linguistics.

Looking forward to the updated version. I’m experiencing the same issue others are reporting. I consistently have to open the app twice: first time it always freezes and/or crashes. The second time opening I can usually type the word I’m searching for BUT if I hesitate or don’t immediate add a space after the word I’ve typed, the auto suggests some other random word and THEN freezes. But if I quickly add the space then it usually works well enough. In short..it could be a super helpful resource but currently only works about one third of the time.

Forvo is great but app needs Work. The app has a new redesign and works really well! Intuitive search features and snappy response!

Not interactive, but helpful. This app would be a lot more useful if you could compare pronunciations automatically, perhaps with voice recognition. That said, it’s helped me in my classes already, so thank you!

I love this app. This is a really helpful app for me. There is a feature to play audios for all favourite words. So I can listen to all words. I hope I can make a favourite list of 1000 words. I use the app daily. Thank you so much for making such a great app :)

Useful but crappy app. As a paid member logged in, app got frozen or crashed all the time. So often to the point of annoying me and making me write this review here. Please fix it as this is a useful app for all of us who like to learn a new language with actual human pronunciation! Thanks

Need more work. If you try to favorite words the app will not save more than 99 words .. !! That means if you would like to study and review something you study before you have to search about it again !!

iPad Version. Would be better if would work in landscape mode on the iPad, most of use use the iPad more like a computer now and i have disconnect the keypad to use. Wish the most popular recording of a word would come up first and not have to go down through several menus to retrieve. Otherwise good app for language learners.

Persistent Login Issues. Fantastic site. But this app continues to experience issues with logging in, and one needs to log in in order to use it. It displays an “error” message at log in and remains unusable for hours, and deleting and reloading the app doesn’t help. All the while, the website continues to work on a computer. Then eventually the app works again until it doesn’t. This is very frustrating and I hope the developers are able to fix it.

Website is more useful. I’ll admit I haven’t taken a long time to try to work with this, but it was very frustrating. I like it on the web, because I can look up all kinds of words, and languages other than the usual 4 or 5 Western European languages. But if you get outside of those languages, there’s almost nothing there. I was really disappointed. It wasn’t even worth the two or three dollars that I paid for it. It’s a waste of time for me.

I should not have updated. Cant get what was once a useful app to even work after I updated it. After updating required me to create an account, but then would not allow me to do so. It said I couldn't use my email as it was not valid. I had been using this app for years happily. It must have been sold to someone or something. Very disappointing.

Not happy. So far this apps is very disappointing. It's advertised as having "over 340 languages" sadly, doesn't have the one I want - Italian. I can only find 3 languages! Don't know where they get 340 from.

Ok, but could be better - just use the web site. 1. Does not show the translations, even if they are on the web site 2. Cannot log into account 3. Cannot request new pronunciations 4. No iPad version

Needs a short delay for iPhone users. When choosing a pronunciation on iPhone there is not enough time to then hold iPhone to ear to hear it said Also in general this app is in desperate need of a service! The bugs and crashes on iPhone are really obvious just using the app normally you won’t need me to detail them, any update rectify would be really appreciated thanks

Great initiative but need a better interface. The idea of this app is great and you can see it is a work in process. However the interface isn’t that easy and it’s hard at first glance to work out what the app does and how it navigates. It would be great if you could follow users - in case you find someone you pronounces words in a way you like so you want to copy etc. The app doesn’t let you see all the words added by a user but the website does.

Only a few languages. Only a few languages once paid..

Doesn’t work outside US. Paid a sub to then find it won’t work in Australia. Tried contacting Forvo but never received a reply. Disappointing!!!

Need better navigation and vocabulary library expansion. The idea is great! Loved it! But the navigation is kind of confusing and it kept saying it's only 70% complete on my profile but when I went in to edit/add my profile there's nothing to add and I don't see any missing information... Quite uncomfortable for an OCD person like me haha

Good, but.... Forvo is a great concept and a useful app. It is let down a little in the execution, as some sound files are quite poor quality with really bad signal to noise ratios. Definitely worth getting for language buffs, however.

Very useful resource for language learning.. I enjoy using this app to determine here to pronounce words. Members’ willingness to contribute is fantastic.

Puzzling. It used to be a great app for my iPad despite having only the vertical format, but it's sound just suddenly doesn't not function. All other audio functions in other apps work. I am at a loss to know why and even more annoying there is no way to find out what is wrong.

App crashing. The app keeps crashing which is really frustrating especially when you are paying for it.

Wonderful app. I find i'm using foreign words more and more in everyday life, particularly when buying food. It's so nice having Forvo handy to help guide me, especially when that guidance comes from native speakers. Occasionally i can't quite get what one person is saying but because there are often a few speakers, another one's slightly different tone/inflection will help.

Great App. I find this app really useful when I need help pronouncing words. (loved it even more when I realised I could change the language!) I have a number of language apps but this is the most useful by far, a big help with pronouncing words beyond basic phrases covered by other language apps.

Wont let me in. Tried to sign up, one error after another. I keep changing and changing yet when it cant identify an error it says something not quite right. Email not available. Always a problem, So no problem, i uninstall. Glad i did not pay for this app.

Awesome!!!. The best app!

Needs to grow. Love the idea but it's very limited right now. The website version offers many features, but doesn't work on iphone. Whereas the iphone app only allows you to search for pronunciations, the website allows you to add words you'd like to hear pronounced by a native speaker, and offer pronunciations yourself. Please also add a feature to search for tags and to save words to a list for quicker reference.

Not recommend. I use forvo on my PC, it's so easy to to use it, so I bought it on App Store for my iPhone , but it's totally different, limited function hard to use, not recommend .

Unusable.... Cannot type word in search window, will not search. Defers to select language, unable to select my language of choice; preselected typical languages.

Really useful. Easy to use, love it for hearing gaeilge!

Dreadful performance.. It freezes continuously and then simply closes. The desktop version is terrific and I have returned to using that. Forvo owes me $5.00 for this unremarkable app.

Sign-in impossible. As a lot of people say, I am not able to sign-in anymore. So sad :-(((

Freezes and Crashes. Why does the app freeze and crash all the time?

Great but glitches. I could not sign-up after paying because it kept telling me there was an error including “oops looks like somethings not right” and then “email not available”, so I tried putting an email address but it did not want special characters. So this needs to be fixed. What exactly is being asked for? Otherwise, I like the concept and how it functions. I live in an area with a different accent than mine and I find I forget mine sometimes, so it’s nice for the reminder.

No sound...?. I'm really hoping this is just a version glitch, but there is no sound in this app, thus no pronunciations.

Does not translate to the language that I am learning, waste of money…. I am learning Vietnamese and the app does not translate from English to Vietnamese. Did not meet my needs.

A could of suggestions to make this app useful: • Browse through lists of words. • View words where pronunciations are requested. • Be able to change our location manually—I didn't enable location services when I first the app, now I can't change my location.

Needs improvements. It would be great to have the option to see the word in IPA format, the web has it but the app don’t.

Best teaching tool since the dictionary. By now, most of have realized we can’t learn a language just using Duolingo or Babbel! You need to hear how things are pronounced by native speakers. This app delivers that, and more! A must have for such a low price

Waste of Money. Bought the app and it won’t even let me sign up to use it. It just shows me a white screen every time I go to create an account. Tried to troubleshoot it and nothing worked. I don’t know it’s it’s a glitch but don’t waste your time or money.

Not what I was looking for. Not able to pronounce a name or word without you having to enter the language. I thought I could use this app to pronounce middle eastern names.

Best language tool I've used in years. I love being able to look up a word and hear it pronounced for me. I love learning languages but it's hard sometimes to find audio materials for lesser-spoken languages. This app fills the gap that is needed for textbooks without audio materials. Thank you Forvo!

This sucks. I got the same thing as the person above I wish I read the reviews this does not work and takes your money do not use it.

Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!

Very glitchy and unreliable. Better off using the free website. Constantly shuts down when I search for a word. Often useless.

You have to have an account. I payed $3 for this app, yet all features are locked because one needs to have an account. Waste of money, I could have just used google

Do not buy it. Honestly I downloaded and bought it and lost my money, it's a nothing app, too weak additional its ux ui design is pretty bad, not user friendly and very slow. Not worth it.

Don’t Purchase You Have To Create Log-In To Use It. I just paid for the app and immediately deleted it - you have to create a login, password etc. before you can use it. Ridiculous request to use an app you just purchased.

Incorrect Pronunciation. Chinese is very poor and even French is not spoken like a native speaker in France. And it is only verbal. It can not take a photo and then translate what that says. It does not fill in many gaps in speaking and understanding words a traveler might use/need when traveling.

Crashes. Very good resource when Forvo doesn’t just crash. Will there be a bug fix?

Appears broken. Would like to use this app, but after signing in with my Apple Account, the screen goes white and there’s nothing you can do. Happens on both an iPhone 13 and an M1 iPadPro.

Oh well. If an app won't let me do a single thing without creating an account first or signing in through an existing account such as Google or Facebook, it gets two things from me: 1) a one star review and 2) deleted.

What the!!!. If you love frustrations and getting nowhere but a gray screen no matter; this app is for you ! Not worth it even free because it is no function but gray screen! What a waste of money and energy!

White Blank Screen. iPhone 16 Pro Max I chose Sign in with Apple I get stuck on a blank white screen with no options. I close the app go back in and it prompts me for Sign in with Apple. Uninstall reboot phone/Reinstall same result.

App freezes. App constantly freezes while searching words…website has always worked without a problem. Forvo is agreat resource but I can’t recommend the app…go straight to the website.

Stopped Pronouncing. I purchased and loaded the app on my iPad last week. I had the ability to hear pronounciations at that time. Today I can no longer find the pronounce choice, only the translation. I deleted the app and reinstalled it to no avail.

App does not work at all. App freezes immediately when trying to use it. Support was no help and not informative. Apple won’t refund so now I have to dispute

Website is more useful. The interface used on the website is much more intuitive. And easier to use. What if I don’t know what language a word is in? I just want it pronounced in the native/original language.

No longer useful. The app now gives me a screen that informs me that I must create an account to add pronunciations. I want it use it to find out how to pronounce words however. This is very disappointing because I’ve found it so useful in the past.

FORVO is super useful. I have been using FORVO for probably 10 years if I remember correctly. It’s awesome and it keeps getting better.

App works too slow. The update is good, but is too slow Maybe need strong servers

No longer works. I used to use this app a lot in the past. Now it does not accept my old login, retrieve or reset the password, or make a new account. I’m truly bummed. Good thing I can get the same service by just searching the web.

Don’t waste your money. I purchased this app but it wont let me sign up First it says email not valid,I tried with another email and it would say passwords don't match, I changed the passwords and then it says an error has occurred please try later I kept trying and wont work.

Great tool. First time in Sweden and this has helped a lot.

Good coverage. Used for a few words in Hebrew and coverage is good. Would be better if it performed translation too.

Superb variety of pronunciations. Extremely helpful for short phrases.

Need more work. If you try to favorite words the app will not save more than 99 words .. !! That means if you would like to study and review something you study before you have to search about it again !!

Amazing, but.... I would like if there were a “stay signed in” option. When I exit the app, it logs me out automatically. I’d like to stay logged in.

I can’t find the words. Is there a way that I can just search words in English instead of translating from another language?

I’m learning Russian…. And I really like this app. I can hear words spoken and add words in my own native language.

Broke in a week. Was locked out of my account, which I paid for, within a week of signing up. Now I can’t access the app and no amount of password resets can correct the problem. I’m told both of my email addresses are “inactive” and “unavailable” even though I only signed up with one of them. Find a better app.

Great Content, Poor Functionality. I am a paid subscriber and adore its content. However, the app has terrible problems. On my iPhone I may only paste words, not type, and the app frequently freezes. Crashes. Regret purchasing. 1) Front page of app has Trending terms and porn-related terms are right there. 2) can’t correct typo of a search term and app freezes and crashes.

Crashes continually. Sadly frustrating. Firstly the app requires a login and password although it continually crashes in setting up this account. You apparently CANNOT use it for anything before getting the account setup. If I’ve already paid WHY do I need to give you information?

App No Longer Works. Unfortunately, the app no longer works. It hasn’t been updated for a year. It was great when it worked, but appears to be abandonware now.

Great reference. This app is great- I use it for Hebrew. A lot of the words are difficult if they don’t have vowel points to reference

Beware. While the Forvo website works well, this app constantly hangs, crashes and is not intuitive. This is on an iPhone 15. Not usable and I’m an IT professional.

False advertising! Most Languages aren’t here!. I bought this app because it claimed to be the largest pronunciation database. It may very well be but it doesn’t cover most languages- absolutely nothing here for me. It should say it is mainly for people who want to learn how to pronounce American English words. Being an American, this is of no use to me!
