Amazing, if it would work.. I originally bought this game back when it came out I don't know how long ago. When I say RR3 PPP up on the storefront I decided this would be fun to install and play again, especially on my new iPhone 6 Plus. The last time I played was on an iPhone 4. So, at first it was perfect. Game ran smooth and it looked incredible. But as of recent, which is less than a day later and probably half way through the career, I can't even get through a race or upgrading a car before it just crashes back to the home screen. I've thought about just giving up. Uninstalling, or just buying the new RR3. But, my fear is that if this tried and true game doesn't work. Why would I want to buy the new one. Fix the crashes and this game gets 5 stars, because that is what it deserves.

Hmm. Well I don't know what they were trying to do with the physics on this racer but they failed miserably . What's worse is the AI cars don't seem to be hindered by the same wonky physics as you are. Hit the gas and slip and slide and get stuck on an object. Since there are no analogue controls you end up using the gas and brake to try to control your vehicle . With the horrid controls this doesn't even come close working and quickly becomes frustrating in the more challenging races . I don't want to turn the difficulty down because of goofy physics . The graphics and little details are really nice but the actual gameplay is just lame . Real racing 2 is still easily the best racer on ios . I actually enjoyed the first reckless better ,even though less 'realistic' at least it was fun . Not that # 2 is close to realistic by any means. No vehicle should lose traction that easy, especially when it's upgraded with better tires , shocks and struts, weight reduction and etc. Lol I'm really glad I waited to try it when it went on sale ;) I'm only out a buck at least .

Good top-down racer. I enjoyed it and they also have many different cars and customization options.

My favorite racing game EVER!. My name on the leaderboards is B.L.ZeBOB,... I have been a hardcore addict of RR2 since it first came out way back in February. I love this game because unlike practically every other game I have played, RR2 never gets boring, so I have to say that it's quite remarkable to me that I still play it! I sincerely hope that there will soon be a Reckless Racing 3. That said, there is one problem I have with the playability of the game when in Multiplayer mode (the only mode I play anymore) the issue is with server lag, it gives some players an unfair advantage because they will appear to be in several places at once, ahead of you, behind you next to you,... all over the place! It can cause your car to stop dead in its tracks, or worse, crash! If you would please address this, perhaps by upgrading your servers, it would really enhance the RR2 experience! Thanks for creating such a great game!

Not what I hoped for, but still a lot of fun.. I loved the original game so much that not only do I have it on my iPad, but my Mac and BlackBerry PlayBook as well. The original game is a wonderful "pick up & play" arcade style with wonderful visuals. This sequel on the other hand is quite different. Annoying micro transactions included to further empty your wallet. The cars at default don't quite respond as quickly as you must upgrade to progress through the game. One minor tweak I did is increase the steering response to 70% for a bit faster response. I wish I could see some of the really flashy visual upgrades, but on the original iPad, the game performs decently but does get choppy with a lot of action on screen. The original never had this issue on any of my devices but really flies on OS X and the PlayBook. The game focuses more on upgrading your cars and has a limit per race or car so you're not lapping the competition. Overall, this is a well priced game and a decent sequel but does lose some of the charm in the process. If you're thinking of buying this game, give the first game a try before the sequel. You won't be disappointed.

multiplayer. why would y’all take away multiplayer 🤦‍♂️ I know the game is old but it was fun racing against people rather than cpu.

It's not a good game, it's a great one.. I think this is the best racing game I've tried yet. I have not had the crashing issues( 2nd gen iPad ). I read others commenting on having to buy coins. Not me, just play the game and you can earn all you need. I love the physics and the graphics. Both are really really good. If I was to find a fault it would be in the lack of any randomness with the AI drivers. The AI driver starting in first place ( you will always start in last) always ends up in first if you don't win or second if you do. A small thing but it would be I think it would be better if the AI cars mixed it up a bit.

Last update deleted hours and hours of played game time. I played this game quite a bit. Its fun, until they rushed out an unimportant update. Would have been a 4 star game, but the most recent update deleted all my progress (I had pretty much finished the whole game). Just plain sloppy dev work, especially when the update was so minor. Just a little bit of QA and testing goes a long way. Then they updated gain fixing the issue from happening to anyone that hasnt allready updated. When I went into the game I got a message saying sorry and they will send in game money soon. But will it be enough to buy every upgrade that I had on all those cars? Will it unlock the races I unlocked? When the heck will I get the money so Im not tooling around in the starter car and can actually race?

Revising my review. Reckless 1 was ok but too limited. I'm reluctant to try no 3 because of all the negative reviews. But Pixelbite got everything right in no 2. It is, in my opinion, the best racing game EVER. The graphics are remarkable. Handling is great. Flawless and fun. I don't know why so many had crashing problems - no problems on my mini 2. It's close to being the perfect game. Wait a minute! After iOS 9, I'm having the same problem - game crashes back to the home screen. What a shame. Pay no attention to the glowing review above. I revise my 5 stars to 1. If I could give 0 I would, cause the game's no good to me if I can't play. Deleting. Revising again: reloaded and I'm delighted to say it works now. All is forgiven. You're still the best and back to 5 stars. And I have no 3 now. It's good too.

Better than the original but.... All is great with this game when it comes to graphics, car selection, customization, & etc, but my first gripe is the control. It's too arcadey and sensitive. The original seems more tolerable but even then I feel like I get hung up in a fishtail on all the straights. Albeit I used the wheel controls. Developers need to get a tip from the guys that did Mini Motor Racing. My other gripe is the price, but the game does have alot to offer and it makes it worth the dosh. It would have been nice to play with a lite version first. If any game has a lite version and is worth all the hype, people will pay for it.

Screen cuts in half on 8. Great game when it works. On the iPhone 8 the screen comes up and cuts in half. You can’t get past the character select because the key board is off and won’t allow you to put a name in. I really hope this is fixed because I do like the game.

Great game except. Please add controller support for reckless 1 & 2 (steelseries nimbus) playing Reckless 3 with a controller is so fun and I would love to have that experience on the other games

Awful tilt steering. Tilt steering on this version is pitiful. I have tried to adjust the sensitivity to no avail... There is way to much null zone off center.. I can tilt my iPad almost 15 degrees and the car just begins to turn all be it very slowly.. Tilted around 20 degrees and the car snaps violently into oversteer and all I do is fishtail.. Driving straight is almost impossible as you come out of a turn.. Sad really because this version has great tracks and the ability to upgrade and paint your car is brilliant.. I have turned the difficulty way down and stuck with it long enough to purchase the baja truck and rally car and max out all their upgrades thinking maybe the handling would improve with the better cars.. Nope, they all exhibit the same characteristics.. Fix the steering physics or add the ability to adjust the null zone and linearity and I'll gladly give it five stars..

iPhone 8. Great game, but doesn’t scale properly to the iPhone 8 screen for some reason. This wasn’t a problem with the iPhone 7 (same screen size).

Good. It's a good game but Can I please waste money on this game!! Please! My car is slow and I need a faster car but I don't have enough money in this game.

Not as fun as the first one. I love the first Reckless Racing and the whole southern theme, but this sequel is way too different to even call it that. It should have been called Reckless Rally or something different. The game is ok, but the car I have so far doesn't handle anything like in the previous games. It feels more sluggish and when turning it looses too much momentum and doesn't give you the feeling of going recklessly fast like the cars did in the first Reckless Racing game. This is still a fun game, but if you are expecting more of the same funny southern theme, music and awesome handling that made the first game such a success, you'll be disappointed like me.

Stellar. It is a rare occasion that I will take the time to actually rate a game, let alone write a review, but I think that this game actually warrants one. It is the first game that I've downloaded in over a year that I haven't regretted doing so shortly thereafter. I'll sum it up thusly: not since Dirt was known as Colin mcRae has there been a racing game that induces such a white knuckle grip, a sense of daring, and a primal desire to be first in every event. There's nothing quite like sliding around a corner with the rear end of your car hanging over a ravine, barrels flying, and an opponent barrelling down at your nose to put you on the edge of your seat... Even though the venues are used multiple times, they are designed In a way to where very seldomly do you race the same track layout, keeping the game fresh and engrossing, without bringing that repetitive feel that is so common to games of this genre. Finally, I'll close with this: the little details are where it counts. Racing along the course, you'll notice cameras on jibs, floating pig balloons on the side lines.... Persistent skid marks... Signage and fences and barrels and cones flying every which way as a car slams into them... Reckless racing 2 is a wonderful homage to the likes of pro am while adding its own brand of awesome...and with that, I'm going to go play it some more. /AVDev/

Favorite game. This game has realistic physics and is fun and engaging- the more you play, the better you realize it is. I have deleted and replayed the whole game, which has a pretty impressive variety of surfaces and styles, 3 times. Still fun. Still manages to be easy to jump into and out of. My only complaint is the fact that I can log into the game, with my name and password, but it doesn't access my stats and credits and cars unless it's on the same device. Why can't I sign in and at least get my credits? I reset my iPad and lost everything. I can see my ranking in the leader board! Now there are like, 3 of me in there. That's why 4 of 5- otherwise it's fun and easy to access.

Good game. I like the game. Very user friendly for a few reasons. First, the control customizations are really cool. You can place the turning arrows and gas and break arrows to practically anywhere on the screen and adjust the size of those buttons too. Great graphics. Also, the dynamic difficulty setting is a great feature to the game too. It adjusts the difficulty level based on whether you win or lose a lot. Haven't seen that feature on any other racing game I have downloaded to my iphone. On another note, it would be nice to add a closer view for game play. The view seems a tad too distant for me. Also, adding a realistic damage setting where the more times one crashes their car, the more damage their car will suffer and thus slow the car down. This program does have a noticeable bug though. It crashes a lot, making game play somewhat frustrating. It could be my phone, which is a 3Gs but I don't know..Hopefully this will be taken care of in this programs software update. Overall though, a really fun/addicting game to play.

Much Better than the First. I had the privilege of playing the first game and hands down this one is so much more in depth! Customize you're car by giving it new paints, secondary and primary colors, or Rims. Make you're car faster along with better handling. Even has spoilers and bumpers to add. With dozens of parts and a nice selection of cars, you can be a force to be reckoned with. The physics are the same as the first until you get a super fast car.... Then you're flying lol. At 6.99 this app is a steal! What are you waiting for?

Pooh... Already uninstalled after last update.... Seems to have lost some of the charm that the first one had. Where as in the first game sliding was kinda the point, in this one it REALLY kills your momentum; seems like straight-line speed and no swerving is how to win. This is kinda impossible though because the steering controls force your car to fishtail with almost any movement at speeds, and the sensitivity adjustment slider doesn't do much of anything. Although the car purchase/upgrade thing is visually neat, i don't like not being able to sell a car onced purchased. 5 dollars is too high, but i suppose we're paying for all the new visuals and cars and being able to upgrade. Again, doesn't have SOMETHING that the first one had. Was super excited after whole family LOVED the first edition, but wish i would have waited for a sale now. DO NOT UPDATE TO LATEST VERSION!! Lost all progress, all cars - everything!! Not worth going through all this again...

5 Stars! Great Game. You guys nailed it with this one. 6x better than the first one. Better graphics, Realistic tracks (not a drift festival anymore) tons of cars that you can modify, way way more tracks, this game should be one of the best games of the year. Only criticism would be the horrible techno music in the background. Get some rock n roll On there and your golden. I never write reviews but this one is worth it. $5 is a good price for a game that you know hard work went into. Multiplayer over 3G really sells it. Angry birds......pshhhhh.....please, I'll be playing Reckless 2 for hours and hours

Super polished.... This game is brilliant. I dont often give out 5 star reviews but this one deserves it! The graphics, sound, and gameplay are all excellent!! I can't stress enough how fun it is to master each cars weight and the correct timing and speed you need to get around certain corners. Overall an excellent game that I would recommend to all of my friends even though the price is pretty steep. If your on the fence but like racing games with a pumping soundtrack and a chance to pimp out cars after getting cash won from events, then I can't recommend another game more than this one!! Buy it people .

Evolved fun. This is the evolution in the right step for this iOS IP. The first game was fun and addictive. Throw in the southern theme and your have a racer with personality to boot. Some reviews say this isn't a true sequel because the southern theme is missing or what have you. Cars seem to have a bit of physics in play. I played the 1st Reckless Racing to see the difference. Cars in the 1st hug the road tighter where as in the 2nd they drift more. Graphics are improved a little as well. The career mode allows you to customize your ride as you climb up the ranks. Arcade mode is a great pick up and play mode. Online has a few issues with lag (opponents teleporting). Overall, great game. Don't hesitate to make this a purchase.

Great game, almost awesome.. Graphics, 5 stars Customization, 5 stars Real driving physics, 3 stars Sounds, & music, 3 stars Content, 3 stars Gameplay, 5 stars It's a great game that is almost awesome. It needs character. Trophies, and conversation that make you want to care about the game play. All this game says is race. And then Your done. Thank you please come again... Or not. I don't know maybe add a cute girl, or guy you can hire to the garage to greet you when you tune up, and cheer you on when you win. A trophy car at the end, or something with substance like a sponsor decal paint job to show off, anything is better then nothing. The cars have one speed, fast. There did not seem to be any shifting of gears, and the tracks didn't really allow you to enjoy the experience in some cases. And in some they did. The controls are nice, I like all the options. However they did glitch out a couple times. Especially when other cars where involved. I can't say much for the music, I turned it off and used my own early on. Nice option to have.

Fun but repetitive. It's nicely done, but it only takes a handful or races to max out your starting car. So you buy a new one. But now you can't race in any of the easier leagues, you have to go for the harder ones... where your opponents also have better cars, so you're back to even footing. So there's really no progression, unless you prize the abstract "achievement" of having paid $92,000 virtual dollars for your car rather than $6,000. Also, there's a bias towards the AI, in the physics - any contact is much harder on you than them. This makes it very difficult to run them off the road, or even slow them down at all, but minor bumps from them can send you hurtling off cliffs or into out-of-control spins. An obvious competitor in this genre is Death Rally, which I find much more enjoyable in all regards.

Great Game, an improvement in every single way. This maybe the best bird's eye view racing game on the iOS market. I really like the original game and didn't believe a sequel that would live up to the fun factor, but I was wrong. This game has great variety in the tracks it offers and I love the gameplay improvements of the chase camera view, and career mode will keep you busy for hours. Don't believe a lot of these negative reviews because this is a great game worth every penny of the price. However that said I have yet to try the multiplayer at the time of writing this review only career.

Rc pro am flashback!. Wow does this game remind me of the old NES game RC Pro Am! The graphics are great and the racing is really fun, but the music and the engine sounds could use a little improvement, but I'm not dropping a star because of this. Customizing your cars is awesome and I love how you can let the difficulty get harder automatically or you can make it whatever you want! I would like to see expansions where maybe a online auction for other cars or parts. Maybe an expansion pack that lets you buy a few different tracks. I love this game and can't wait to finish this so I can continue to race!

Very awesome games. The best racing game that I have played that is in a 3rd person view, physics are amazing, you can still use your weaker cars because you can do the cups over again. Graphics are really nice, the cars control is crazy as to how realistic it is, everything you do changes how your car races. I have to admit it is amazingly fun and ranks in my top 5 right along with Real Racing 2. But this game is much more fun to play because of how much you have to customize the car for different track types and setups, you learn how your car performs best with different upgrades. At first I didn't like the power limitations but now that I know how to use it to your advantage I love it. My only complaint is that the cars are not actually licensed. Which I think would make the game really awesome. Different levels of upgrades would be awesome too, as well as being able to change the graphics type on cars and a few more cosmetic upgrades. But these are really nothing huge. Love the game, easily worth the $2.

Worth it - 6 thumbs up👍👍👍👍👍👍. This game is basically you racing Micro Machines around a track made of bucketsful of good graphics. In other words, people died to bring you this awesome game and you owe it to their kin to buy it. That is to say if you've played any of the "reckless" series, this game owns your soul, already bought itself for you, and you're just becoming aware of this fact now. the people who wrote the 1 star reviews are the devs and they were only doing it as a favor to keep you from getting hooked on their game for life. They actually already have enough money, so they make games for the betterment of humanity, and they're trustworthy.

PERFECT! Better than the 3rd.. The 3rd one is just a lazy try. This game is awesome in all aspects. You won’t regret.

Reckless 2. I love this game! So many cars and customizations make you feel in control.

The best.. Best racing on iPhone, period. They did their best with the iPhone X update - a few controls could be scooched a bit, but very happy overall.

Good could be Better. Like the title says, good but could have been better. For 5$ I thought it would've had a little more depth than this. I just finished it and I've only had it for 2 days. Graphics and physics are the same as the first game. I Would have liked to see maybe some different camera angle options in this one. Body damage from collisions would have been cool too. The only thing that's really different in this one from the first is you race for money to modify the cars and i'll tell ya, they really could have done more with that.. If this game was .99$ Yea I'd buy it all day long, but 5$ really..? Save your money. If I knew then what I know now I would be 5$ richer..

Unplayable. On iphone eight its stretched out and you have to press a letter down to enter the letter so you cant even hit the enter button, i cant start the game.

Best Racing game on iOS. I'm not a huge reviewer, but this game deserves to be reviewed. I've got many many iOS racers, both top down and first/third person racers and this one beats them all. Loads of fun to play the career. Adaptive difficulty is awesome. All the tracks are a lot of fun and doing the upgrades for the cars is fun. Physics are great! This game is much better than the first Reckless Racing. First looked good, but lacked depth. This one is great. If I had any complaint about this game it would only be that the career ends too soon. I wanted it to keep going. Even if it was more races on the same tracks.

Amazing. It’s a great game but a minor issue with the gas. It will stop working for a second but besides that it’s fine. It’s a one purchase and that’s it no IAP or anything,plus,it’s easy to make money in. All around it’s just perfect and better than 3 or 1

Disappointed. After mastering the first game I was excited to get some new tracks and cars, but Reckless Racing 2 seems to be aiming for a simulation rather then "reckless" fun. The first game, was reckless, bumping cars, unrealistic drifting, fast acceleration and ridiculous vehicles, not to mention the hillbilly theme, together it was a addicting and fun game. Reckless Racing 2 at first seems quite overwhelming compared to the original where all you did was choose your car and your track and boom your racing. Reckless Racing 2 implements a career mode that is just to much to be reckless. The actual game play drags on like a turtle race as your car crawls to mere 15 mph and handles like a elephant in mud, the most fun element of the original which was the ridiculous drifting is totally gone. In addition, the jumps are few and far between, and there are no river crossing hurdles like in the original. I was greatly disappointed as I had to shell out 5$ for what I thought was going to be the same experience, but Reckless Racing 2 is anything but "reckless".

TIPS FOR NEW PLAYERS. I really enjoyed the first game, and I can say RR2 followed up very well. The additions keep the game more interesting than just racing the same car over and over again. I've heard some people complain of a "lag" for the steering. An explanation could be that the starting cars are too slow and have lower grade handling. Just wait a while and, I promise, the controls become more fluid. If you are still having trouble, the in-game options allow steering sensitivity. Also, people complain that the camera messes with their sense of direction. For example, when the car makes a u-turn, the controls seemingly reverse since the car is facing the opposite direction. One word: adapt. Use your imagination and pretend that you're actually in the car. Do something. Practice makes perfect; I know this gave me trouble in the first RR, but it is easily overcome with more playtime. One more thing, if you're new to racing games, please look at the type of track (e.g. dirt or street) to choose the type of car to buy for the cup. Don't race street cars on dirt tracks or vice versa. Finally, if you find yourself having difficulty passing a level, lower the difficulty. You can do this to bypass the track temporarily or just to beat the game easily I guess (but where's the fun in that!) If this helps at least one person, I can call it an accomplishment :)

Ok, slightly frustrating.. Why is there an upper power limit in the career mode? That is completely unnecessary. Just let us race in the lower tier races at a decreased reward rate, like -40% reward for using a higher power car than the suggestion states. Because I feel like this is used to “balance” the abilities of the AI based on your cars power level, which is lame. In other words, when you can’t pass the competition, why have the ability to upgrade past them? In other words, I feel like my being able to upgrade to a slightly higher power than the AI’s shouldn’t feel so underwhelming due to the fact that now you just have to upgrade your car more, or buy a new one all together because you can’t race the ones you were racing before. Finale: if the opponents cars cane be higher level than you, but you never have the chance to be the highest, you will always be outperformed because of power restrictions. The point of progress, is to be better. You can’t be better, when you aren’t allowed to exercise your progress on the previous problem. I’m getting monotonous here, but it’s not without reason. Please change this.

Needs an update. Game cannot be played without an update. The game does not register my touch. When i am choosing a name the game does not register me pressing enter so i am stuck on the that screen and cant get out or play game

Amazing controls, graphics. I'm astounded at how good the controls feel. The car feels like it has weight, unlike most arcade racers. I was able to sit down and compete instantly even with high difficulty and unfamiliar tracks. Drifting is great, takes practice and, most amazingly, they've done an excellent job at modeling (or faking, but who cares) terrain effects on your vehicle. The dynamic difficulty seems accurate, at least at first. As noted by the haters, though, it quickly becomes apparent that the "dynamic" nature appears to simply crank up the lead racer's skill to 100, makes the "second" a good challenge, and allows the rest of the AI pack to drift back into irrelevance. I'm not going to knock a star, though, because every arcade racer EVER uses the "rubber band" technique for AI skill. If anything, RR2 just kicks you in the trunk. There are lots of races per event and plenty of events but a prevalence of two-lap races combined with very short tracks means you can plow through the career mode in no time. There are lots of other modes and track variations, though, so you still end up with a lot of content for the asking price. Buy this game: it's tons of fun.

RR1 on steroids. Overall a great arcade racer. One that you should definitely check out. I'd love to see the Devs make the default button controls slightly larger, as I've been frustrated a few times when I've accidentally pressed right instead of left into a corner.. Slightly larger controls would solve this. I 2nd the frame-drop annoyance too, it happens infrequently, but on my 4S, it shouldn't happen at all. It also appears that sometimes the 'lead' racer especially, races a little 'on rails'... I've seen a few good crashes, but often unless you get the first lap almost perfect, you've no chance to win the race.. Love to see a few more slip-ups or deviations from the norm in the AI. All in all though, a fantastic game, one that improves on ever aspect of the original Reckless Racing. Definitely worth a buy (esp when I got it at $0.99!!)

Very addictive!. The adjusting skill levels keeps you trying just one more time. Before you know it, an hour has passed, your coffee is cold, your chores aren't done. Oh well ... Just one more race.

Fantastic and very addictive!. Utterly fun, only had a problem with dropped frames after coming back into the app after a phone call on a iPhone4. One of the best games ever for users of different abilities. I love it and do does my son. Top work!

What happened to this game. I loved this game years ago, but now I’m on a new iPad everything is so small, it makes playing annoying, fix this, I want to play this game again. I’m on iPad mini 4

Should know better. A developer this big should know better than to delete user progress without warning or apology. I read the update text and nowhere did I see mention if this. Still lacks ipad retina support despite being listed as universal. Not as good as the original either. Really disappointed.

Great!!!!!. This game is really good but it would be good if it tells you when your online that the people are racing because people come on and get impatient because the people are ignoring them but they are actually in a race. Also it would be good to have up to 6 on online and all the race modes maybe not only the how good the car is but also the player.

Reckless junkie. Absolutely addicted to this game. Great physics and upgraded to cars. Racing is even better. Will be watching for more additions to the reckless family.

Unsupported on latest iphone. Game doesn’t support iPhone 8+ screen :( It fully shows the game at the splash screen but after that it is all blurry and impossible to create a character. I remember playing it on the iPod touch 4 and it was a fabulous game. I’ll change my review once the issue is fixed.

Great game. Really fun and is like the 1st reckless racing but you can do much more things and is way better. I recommend you buy this if you are looking at it cause it won't let you down

Wiped my stats. Thanks a lot - Like many others I completed the game with all the cars only to get everything wiped by the stupid update. I enjoyed playing despite the fairly unresponsive controls & bland AI. For example; the whole career mode was spent trying to beat 1 other AI driver (Kim) in the same colored car. Anyway thanks for wiping my stats - here's your reward.

Rad as!!!. Loved the first one on the iPhone but it was a bit short and undeveloped, this one is AMAZING! Good choice of tracks, cars, opponents. I would like some work done on multiplayer, it's a bit laggy but very playable from Aus, would be nice to be able to host a local LAN race and to turn car impacts on and off, sometimes you just want to race times. Also would love to be able to bet against multiplayer opponents with ingame cash/cars etc. Best top down racer since micro machines/death rally on pc. - Can't put it down, I'm going to go blind playing it.

Great Racer, But.... They wiped my profile, but have reimbursed with some free in-app purchases. Still a great game, but it seems that it's taken many updates, and we've gotten nothing but hassle really. Original Review: After installing Reckless Racing1 (quite some time ago) on my 3g, and then to play it on droid in HD, then to come back later and re-install it on my 4s, I was disappointed to see there was no retina update. I was highly anticipating this title, and am glad to see the textures, shadows, and shading have been introduced to RR2. It looks great, and adds great replay value with the new performance index system. There is one downside to this....FRAME DROPS. Please fix, and I'll rate 5 stars. Oh, and multiplayer is temperamental.

Great :). What a great little racing game. Fun, addictive, li'l bit hard to control at times but still a lot of fun. One of my best purchases on the App store. Could you also make an update that supports iPod touch 5 screen size?? Thanks Polarbit for another awesome game!

Fun and challenging. More realistic than the original with greater depth of play and better balancing of difficulty, but without losing the spirit of the original. Hope the developers keep it up!

Really fun. This is a really fun game. I love the tracks and cars. The drift cars are amazing and they really do drift with style :) it would be good to see a track editor put in so people can make and share there tracks with everyone. I already have some awesome drift track designs that everyone would like :) but all in all what a awesome game. Please add a track editor :D

Awesome. Best game on ipad! Great game play, lots of fun. The new career mode gives the game a whole new level of depth. Good work Polarbit! First cars are a bit slow but give it time, as you upgrade the cars get faster and handle better, this game is awesome fun. -update- Ok after playing this for a while id have to update my statement from best game on iPad to one of the best games on any mobile gaming platform and at a fraction of the price. Only problem is i cant stop playing it!

Ok'd. Loved rr1 probs favorite game on iPod at the time. Though rr2 has done a sensational job in customization and graphics though the on thing that let down the 2 extra stars was the drifting it wasn't as good as rr1 so producers of the game plz update with better drifting thx

Great Game but.... The handling in game canbe quite frustrating. When I go to turn left I press the turn right button even though the majority of my finger is on the right side. This can get very irritating and I often find myself focusing on where my finger needs to go to turn right

Almost. Just fix the drifting, so it is like the first game, when you didn't loose speed while drifting, and that will make it perfect.

FAB. This is a fantastic game, one of the best I've seen in a long while. The graphics are superb, the sound is amazing, the gameplay is smooth and the physics are generally excellent. Playability is good if not a touch hard (which like all games these days prompts you to buy extra credits for iTunes for upgrades). Some improvements could include: one to one iPad connectivity (a must!), a replay function, start cars in different positions (fed up with always starting at the back!), names over the cars so you know who's in front of you, more long straights and bigger jumps would be cool, a menu for choices like how many opponents you race against, how hard/easy the gameplay is, etc. why not have different types of vehicles, trucks, bikes etc. Overall I'm impressed though and would recommend to anyone to waste no more time reading this and just buy it!w

Play RR1 and leave it at that. Reckless Racing 1 was great fun. This one feels completely dumbed down for new players to the detriment of experienced players (to the level of describing how auto-difficulty works). Steering controls took time to register my touches, then time to realize I'd stopped touching them. This caused late turns and over turns leading to smashes into walls. Repetitive music. Rather disappointed.

Alright... The steering in RR1 is so much better than RR2. The steering is horrible and makes the game so difficult to use. Also the game constantly crashes which gets really annoying and makes the game frustrating to play. Please fix in the next update.

Simply Amazing.. I remember playing the first reckless racing, it was a great new change to iPod tracing games, but it lacked something.. And they brought it back with THIS AMAZING SCULPTURE OF PURE PERFECTION! From the cups to the tracks, and the customization! Best customization I've seen in an iPod game ever. And there are actually so many cars and tracks. But all in all they've amped up everything from the first one and given anything you could want in a racing game. Simply Amazing!

Brilliant. This is my go-to game. Really effective physics, crisp graphics and lots of upgrades. I often get a small group around the iPad, watching and cheering a player's progress. Highly recommended.

Awesome fun. Just a awesome game, just like most of these styles of games, but with a cooler twist, I can't explain it, just the drifting, the camera angles, the graphics, it all just makes it a awesome game. Worth the download.

Amazing. Absolutely beautiful graphics, great car designs and customisability. Large variety of race tracks, both on road and off road, as well as many different game modes to keep you entertained for hours. The progression through the career mode could be updated a little bit, and the app crashes every now and again, but other than that, there is really nothing wrong with the game. It is a really good racing game available for iOS, if not the best.

Better than RR1 in every way.. Still not perfect, but getting there. For the first lap of nearly every race, the frame rate stutters a few times. Loading textures into memory perhaps? I'm using an iPad2, so it isn't hardware. If any game crashes, close all the apps in the multitask bar and reset your device or at least turn it off completely and fully charge it before trying again. As to those complaining about the controls, Reckless Racing 2 has the best control options of any iOS game I've tried. I find the tank controls to be the best and moved the steering controls up in the top corners. The tilting and steering wheels need more refinement to be accurate enough for me. The cars have a much better feel than they did in RR1. Leaning towards more realistic now than the previous arcade spinning cars. The new upgrades have a noticeable effect too. You want a drift car? Buy the upgrades that add acceleration and leave the tyres alone. Prefer a track car? Get the racing tires, add some top speed and max out the handling. And there are many other combinations in between and beyond. You start off with a street/dirt car, but there are a few dirt or street specific cars to buy when you have the $ (which you can either earn or buy with real $). Overall, it's what you would expect from a sequel.. Bigger, better and more. Have fun!

Id rather play reckless racing 1. This game is cool, the graphics are defanitly a step up from reckless racing 1. The garage is a nice new touch. But.... The controls, they dont feel right (compared to first game) and quite frankly, this is nowhere near as fun as the first because it is alot more realistic. Drifting around corners in the first game was incredably fun, but sadly u cannot drift very well at all in this game, which i think is stupid. I think an update is needed so that this is more like the first game, because ive played two levels and havent touched it since. Im quite sad about this, as i dont find the game even slightly entertaining, and i was really looking foward to the release of this game.

IDEA!!!!. This game is great fun lots of races lots of cars........but the game doesn't really live up to its name.... The game is called RECKLESS Racing but there is nothing reckless about it coz you can't damage your car or anyone else's. Is there a way you can introduce damage into the game.....and for the other people who don't want damage you should be able to turn it off and on in the options menu

Add free roam please!!!. This game is amazing I can't stop playing it. I love everything about it! But I would love to see a free roam mode where you can choose a map and just drive around without having to worry about what position you're in or what your lap time is. This would probably be great for multiplayer as well because you could find games that are already in progress and just join without any drama. If this is added I'm sure people will love the game even more!

What have they done????!!!. Instant purchase for me..Reckless Racing on steroids right? Well yes but here's the real deal: - The steering model is now canned.. doesn't matter which car or which settings. - There is no suspension travel in the physics model. So even though you get varying levels of traction on different surfaces, you never feel like you are directly involved in the driving... more like coaxing a 3D car to turn and follow the racing line..still playable but the fun factor just goes out the window. Now here's hoping Polarbit comes out with an 'Advanced' option like in RR1. You know "the real deal - slip slide and rock 'n' roll" mode which adds these things back to the game.. after all the same team made it using the same Fuse platform.

The best racer ever!. The first Reckless racing was great but this ones way better. Better graphics and excellent car models. Great menus and longer tracks as well. Worth the money and lots of fun. I'm playing it on the iPad 2 using the tank controls. Awesome!

Best drifting game. Must say polarbit has hit the nail on the head with this game you can pull off some mad drift's on some really good laid out track's car selection is good something there for everyone car handling is great even tho I've had some big rollover's and gone thou some gardrail's and off some cliffs. So well done to the team at polarbit if you do a 3rd version of the game please don't change the handling it is spot on the way it is

Latest upgrade STINKS. The ‘downsizing’ of the images and their relocation has ruined this game. Fix or I delete.

Awesome. The game is fantastic, some of the things I would like to see are: qualifying, free roam and the bug where sometimes when you start a race it crashes. Stop complaining not everybody's profile got deleted after one of the updates. They also need to put the prices down on the drift cars.

Game play good. Game itself is good but the last update wipe all my player data and stats. Had almost completed the arcade levels and the career mode and then update wiped it all away. Now I have to start again. Poor form.

Must Have. I'm extremely picky when it comes to games and apps. This is defiantly one of my favourite games, awesome graphics, sound and gameplay! To top it off it only takes around 120mb of space!! (just goes to show how well written and optimised this game is as well) I was a fan of the original reckless racing and now am an even bigger fan of rr2. too all those that say the handling was more fun in the original, once you upgrade and purchase faster cars you will be drifting all over the track just like in the original.

One of the best. Controls are perfect, cars feel just right. This game has everything. Racing is great and the amount of upgrades is spot on. You need to work for your $$$ but not ridiculously so. Graphics are so nice I keep forgetting to keep my eyes on the track! Loved the original but this one just blew it out of the water. The developer on this one nailed it.

Brilliant Game. I have probably had 100 different games on my iPod since I got it, which all of those games have made it to the top charts or the featured list and this game has stayed on there being, by far the best iPod game I have ever played, mainly because there are no waiting times for upgrades and the game has never crashed on me (except once). So I'm really looking forward to Reckless Racing 3, which I read on the Polarbit website that it was coming out this September. I would recommend this game to anyone. 5 star, Thanks.

Addictive and fun. A great little time waster that's hard to put down. Would like to see the controls a little more user friendly because my fingers have sometimes slipped off the arrows in all the excitement.

Gameplay and graphics. This game has everything. Addictive gameplay, realistic physics, gorgeous graphics and a rocking soundtrack. Did I mention addictive? I have not been able to get back to my work for days now. Only negative is that the game sometimes crashes and you lose the most recent cash you earned.

Attention Attention Game Developers!!. Hey there guys, Look firstly I wanna say I loveeeeee Reckless Racing 1 & 2 as well as Reckless Getaway but I've noticed a problem with one of them. That being Reckless Getaway 2, I notice when driving that there are a couple of glitches. 1. Sometimes when you first start racing the game kinda "jolts" & doesn't run smoothly. 2. When using the "arrows" to drive the ones you use to steer im finding the "right arrow" when you drive sometimes when your press it the car will turn outta control until you take ya foot off the gas & it's incredibly annoying. So if someone could fix these problems that be fantastic!!.....Other than that keep up the good work your games rock!!!

Very glitchy on brand new iPad Air. Great game, however on my iPad Air (bought only in Feb.) the game often has a very low framerate - this would be acceptable on an 1st gen iPad but not a brand new piece of kit.

Great. Wow, it's taking me a long time to get this game because how could you make a better game then the first, but they definitely succeeded. I'm not a racing game fan but this is just a great game. Why do people waste their time with cr*p like Angry birds when this kind of game exist ! Just great!

Great game. I have to say that I don't play many games on my ipad. Also I'm a casual gamer at best. This game was mentioned in my Zite app so I thought I'd give it a go. It's quite addictive.

Fun but needs fixes. It's a ton of fun if you like the old skool top down racer but it could use another camera view option like "follow" that stays behind the car and it crashes every single time I try load a race in the drift series. Running on 5S. Please fix the crashing in the next update.

Perfect driving game. The developers managed to make a driving game where you can get a satisfying driving / racing feel while using touch controls. Would be perfect if it supported game controllers. Love the drift mechanics and the car upgrades that make a real difference.

Superb in every way.. This is the pinnacle of top down racers. Certainly on iOS, possibly on any platform. This has the potential to be every much of a cult classic as supersprint. Running flawlessly on my iPad 2. Don't hesitate and mash the buy button. Oh, and IAP done right for once, pay to progress faster but you miss out on all the fun!

Reverted to non-retina graphics. After the iOS 8 save game fix it seems like it's back to non-retina graphics which was fixed a long time ago.

Plain fun. Improved version of the first. Very fun racing with customizable controls to fit you fingers. I prefer the tank setting. Then change the size of the buttons. I make my left right button taller along the side and the brake/reverse button wider. I manage first place easier now. Excellent racing game for 99 cents!

Great game but.... Online play needs some work. Really sketchy. Other players jump all around you while racing and they glitch in front of you occasionally causing you to fly off the track. This is really frustrating cause it's a really fun awesome game and you get all into the race then bam! You get thrown off course. Also I think you should earn some sort of money for winning online races so it's a little more interesting and fun. If it wasn't for this I'd give 5 stars. Hopefully they fix this in an update soon!

Reckless 2. By far the easiest interface I have been able to adapt to. The racing is fun and upgrades show definite improvements to vehicles. It should be noted that the vehicles are limited to improvements in various competition and it sometimes seems as if the computer generated racers do not need to follow these same performance rules. The requests for in game purchases are not intrusive and at this point I do not feel the need to spend more. Good app and good function. Get it!

Polished, Intense, Fully Loaded!. RR2 is great, it does feel like a great sequel to RR1 as it is at the core the same gameplay mechanic in an all new and deep gameplay system. I'm really impressed. I loved RR1 but found it simple and straightforward, so I really took to Death Rally and it's upgrade/vehicle system. Now RR2 comes along and raises the top down racer bar all over again. I really hope updates bring even more vehicles, tracks and maybe game modes? Endurance mode anyone? Yes! RR2 is a feature rich, fleshed out and polished top down racer, and done very well. I'm having a blast with it. Love the Dynamic Difficulty system and vehicle upgrades. Overall "the entire package" and new standard for iOS top down racers!

Pure Awesomeness. Seriously, thought the first was great and second one is just that much better. Lots of features and cool things to unlock or upgrade. Gameplay is simple, which to me is why it's so fun. Tracks are beautiful and load time is fast. Not a lot of multiplayer games out there for the iPad, especially ones that make it easy to get in and race a friend without a lot of hassle. Cheers to the development team for making such a fun game.

It's back!. I was a huge fan of the first version, bought the RR2 the second I'd heard it came out. A very worthy successor to the RR1, but it is a fundamentally different game. The tracks are huge and contain many awesome corners. The cars are great and the modifications make for an entertaining and effective game mechanic (ha). Tons more tracks, tons more cars, same amazing physics. Great job, Polar Bit!

A real review. I can't believe you guys!!! How could you get us hooked on hillbilly madness then completely change the entire game? You say the old cast is still there plus more cars, but you can't drive them until you buy em! Totally blindsided by this release and was hoping for more of the same. Yes the graphics are amazing in rr2 but thats not the issue here. It's a completely different game than the one we all fell in love with! You guys could have at least made it like RR1 in arcade mode! Ugh , I just wanna race without the hassle of setting up cars!

Epic Fail: deleting your career, all cars and making the game worse. There is no good excuse for not catching the fact that a minor bug fix update would wipe out everyone's career progress. That's bad qa and it should never happen with a project with this many users. Also: now the game semi-randomly "calls the tow truck", even as your car is on track and racing. I had no trouble with the first release and was hoping retina display support was coming. Instead you ruined my favorite game and through away hours of progress. I doubt I will other to pick it up again.

Best race game. Speechless. Reckless Racing 2 is one of my favorite games on the App Store. I think it's one of the best of all time. It's really challenging, specially when you play with your friends in Game Center. The graphic is great, maps are awesome. I have looked so far for such a racing app and I'm glad I have found this game. It's definitely worth the money. Don't miss the game if you like racing ...

I Love This Game!. The beautiful tracks, the ability to customize the control scheme, the upgrades & cars, multiplayer, etc. This top-down racer puts others to shame. The love shows, when you collide with another car at top speed while clinging to a cliff edge, or just squeeze past one of the CCR's at the finish line in career mode, this game shows some serious attention to detail. Try taking a power slide at high speed over uneven terrain, you'll see what I mean...I'm in Heaven. Buy it, already.

Great game with great user interface.. This game is a instant hit for hardcore racer in iPad market. Well done in players controller customization, instantly solves the typical finger ergonomic with user's ability to fine tune it! I can spend hours on it without feeling frustrated due to my short finger. As for the down side, game are still too easy at 100% mode. Though is challenging at certain point but it's not impossible to complete. Must try! Worth 1.99 IMO

Great!!!. Love it!! Didn't think I would because of the camera on top instead of other racing games... Like RR2. But I'm hook. Physics are awesome!!! Customize everything, the way u drive, difficulty, the cars. Some options for the car are over priced, the paint is way to high if u want to change the color, $500 to 12,000 or 14,000 dollars. But I still highly recommend this game. Worth it! Fun as hell. Enjoy!

Finally!. 8-3 Epic update, by far the best Top Down Racer of all! The Controls have always worked great for me, dunno what others are talking about. (They're Customizable to those who don't know) I've been waiting on the Sequel for months! The trailers I've seen weren't lying, this is the real deal! It still has the feel of the original but better polished and way more fun. Five stars Polarbit!!!!!

Reckless racing is the best. I believe out of the 50 + racing games I've tried this is without a doubt the best one I've tried. Others have been good but, this one stands in a class of its own. Great graphics, great selection of cars and races and the customizing is awesome.. Would like to see some updates that add to the customizing but not needed any time soon thanks for a great game hope to see more from polarbit GameslayeR

Good game, but this is no Reckless Racing. Calling this game "Reckless Racing 2" is just unfitting. Unlike the first game, these are no longer rednecks who race their moderately (and perhaps crudely) modified cars around. These are (and looks like) pro drivers who race in professional tracks, in comparison to the backroads of the old game (around a chapel, around someone's garage, etc). Putting the old characters in the game won't make this game deserve the title as well. Sure your car still slides around the track, but that alone is not enough for this game to be called "Reckless Racing 2".

Online multiplayer. ... Is junk. It lags even in the lobby chat and "ready" check making. Then in-game racing is borderline impossible. Its only 4 total people. I've yet to see everyone finish a race. It actually says "You're the only one left"... WHY AM I STILL RACING THEN! Cars just blink constantly and pop in and out. I am on a 4s on very high speed stable wifi. Single player is fun, but I bought it for the multiplayer. Don't buy this game and think the multiplayer will be anything but frustrating.

Best racing game for iPad. I've played them all and this one is tops! Great physics, controls and graphics. Never thought a top down racer would be more fun than other types but it is! Upgrades are well spaced and achievable as you progress, allowing you to build out different rides for different tracks. AI is good and challenges you to be on point with your skills. Highly recommended. Developers - winning! Please add even more tracks/races for those who are obsessed.

You had me at Reckless Racing. I bought this one because the original was so good I knew what I was getting into. Or so I thought. What was great about the first one was that the camera and controls made you feel like a red neck racing in make-shift race tracks. With this one it seems matured. Like the people behind it said lets throw in some GT racing in there and keep the red necks as a side show. All I'm saying is either you do one or the other. At least give us better camera views to enjoy the great graphics.

Awesome game! But…. The gameplay is excellent, and the controls are slick (and VERY customizable). The garage gives you plenty of upgrades for each car, and it's cool that there are a ton of cars to choose from. The only problem is that it crashes a LOT. Sometimes you have to complete a race 4 or more times because it will crash right after you cross the finish line. Other times it will crash in the menu. It would be a 5 star game if it weren't for the crash issue.

Again, then go into airplane mode, turn the system on, then off, open this app again, and guess what happens... ... ... ⚡⚡⚡Crash⚡⚡⚡ I was enjoying this game so much, and I don't want to have to redo this entire game. Wish I'd waited but still greate!. I missed the sale by 5 hours but it was worth the higher price. Great graphics, great replay value, and I like the controls. Give us a dodge charger and cammaro clone and I'll be ecstatic! And for the reviewer below, there is an option for the camera to follow the car, I think it's "chase camera" in the options menu. And for the other reviewer complaining about controls, you can use tilt controls and a chase camera.

Would be 4 stars, but crashing on ipad 1. Good game, here are my thoughts.... 4 stars if they fix the lag/crash issues on ipad 1 (works great on iphone4s) Pros: Like the new vehicles and tracks Like the upgrade system Like the autoscaling AI for difficulty - though it could use some tuning... its either easy, or hard... no inbetween it seems Cons: Dislike how when racing through an event, regardless of ladder position it ALWAYS sticks you in the 6th spot to start... rather dumb here, put us in the spot we earned. HATE THE HORRIBLE CRAPY TECHNO MUSIC - BRING BACK THE TWANG HILL BILLY! The game just doesn't have that same "this is rediculous fun" as the fist, in part due to this IMO Ipad 1 needs some bug fixing - memory leaks all arround, crashes after a few races Ipad 1 Dust/Smoke trails almost always "chunk" the game to 10 or less FPS Over sensitive stearing at the higher levels/faster asphalt track speeds and cars... the first game had better handeling IMO

Great game.. Steering in certain sections of a couple of the maps is screwy, you'll be turning right and the car will veer hard left for no reason and it happens at the same point every lap. Other than that the game is a superb time killer :). It does burn the battery but that is do the extremely high graphics usage and processing power being utilized. So keep your charger handy and 4-wheel drift till you're dizzy:). Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!

Amazing.. I love this game. I had the original. I got this, because I saw it on FAAD(Free App a Day). I really like it and would recommend it to anyone that's a racing game fan. ADDED: Should be able to sell cars. I have A LOT of money(game money so no one gets confused) invested in cars, but I don't use them anymore and can't sell them. If I could sell them it would make it a lot easier to get better cars once I'm done with the current one.

Addicting Game/Infuriating Controls. I'm a huge fan of the original, and this game COULD be better, but the controls are so sporadically unresponsive, or worse, overlapping. It doesn't matter how I arrange them, inevitably at some point in the race I turn to the right but the car turns to the left. It affects all controls, even the menu buttons. Hitting restart (as I do often because of the above problem) usually will register as 'Resume the game'. It makes me want to punch a baby.

Has potential, but too many annoyances.. First, the good stuff: Graphics are great, car handling is realistic and smooth, dirt tracks are awesome, and the car and track selection is bountiful. However, for me, there are too many detractors to ignore. The worst offender: You ALWAYS start in 6th place while the fastest opponent starts in 1st. This means the first lap of every race is wasted trying to muscle past the idiots in 5th through 2nd while the one worthwhile opponent pulls away. Because car performance is capped per race, this means you have a very slim chance of catching him in the one or two laps remaining. This perpetual game of catch-up is what really ruined this game for me. Also: Engine noise only has one gear. Have the developers never driven a car? You can bounce off most obstacles without much penalty, but blue barrels? Nah man, you're stopped. Tl;dr: Almost fun, too many problems to be worth the price.

Not bad. The game itself is good, graphics are nice, different modes etc. So far the game fun and seems to have depth with career play, vehicle upgrades etc. However I absolutely hate the control placement. The buttons are too far apart and far from the edge of the screen. If you play while your iPad is laying on the table it would be fine, but holding it especially in a case is troublesome. Please fix this, it lessens my desire to want to play the game. Something like mini motors is more desirable. If not for that, I would give it four stars.

Boring. ZZZzzzzz..... If you thought the first game was just ok and were hoping they got it right the second time around, they didn't. It's actually more boring than the first, with more sluggish driving and less exciting car vs car action. Skip it and try Mini Motor HD or Death Rally instead. Both are excellent examples of the genre. Also, it's very strange that they didn't include the great control system from one of those two games with this game's many control system options, all of which are not very good. Tank is probably the best of the lot, but still just ok. The rest are all terrible.

Good, but not great.. Ironic that a game called "Reckless" punishes you for being exactly that. In fact, the entire racing winds up being spent trying to never touch an AI car. If you do, you're often sent careening across the track while the AI car holds their line with ease. I have seen AI cars fish tailing out of control for half a lap, whole holding the line the entire time. Get lucky and break out of the pack on your first lap, and you will win almost very time. Get stuck in the pack and you're toast. Not only that, but all of the charm of the first is gone, replaced instead with sterile cup races. Great graphics and sounds, but five cups in, and I think I'm all done with this game. Here's hoping for a better experience with "Reckless 3."

Steering control problems. OK... I love this game. My only recommendation would be to make the Chase Camera option the default. I nearly deleted the game because the non-chase camera option was too difficult and I wasn't aware that the developers gave users a choice.

Almost a great game. This game looks and feels awesome!! Especially on the iPad. It's simple, challenging and fun. However, the gameplay lags at times, crashes on a consistent bases and loses saved game data forcing you to repeat races you have already completed and repurchase upgrades that you in-game. Online play is an awesome idea and would be great if the gameplay didn't lag so much. Unfortunately these issues are annoying and degrades what could be a great game. If issues are fixed I'd give this game 5 stars.

Crashes. The game is super fun and very addicting but the game crashes every single time i open the app.... The game crashes and I had to start over the progress I had made and it has done this multiple times I have the newest version of IOS 8 and it still does this can someone please fix this but the game is the best racing game ever just fix the crashes so I can play the game

Love these kind of games. These birds eye racing games are awesome. I kind find too many apps like this and out of all of them that I have, this ones defiantly the best one (or at least that I own). I like how the handling changes depending on the terrain and how difficult it can be due to the other racers hogging the track. Would rate a 5 but the problem is that it crashes a lot. Ill be half way through a race n it'll shut down in me. A great idea for them would be to make different weather conditions like rain or snow to add to the difficulty. Over all great game.

Amazing graphics and gameplay.. This is a high quality game with some of the finest, smoothest graphics I have seen. You will get tons of enjoyment and ongoing gameplay out off this purchase. The controls and ability to edit them make it simple to control the car predictably and the clear graphics make even the tiniest of details shine through. Race fans will not be disappointed.

Fun, But Frustrating. Don't let the nice graphics fool you. Some of the races in this game are extremely frustrating, and you need to upgrade your cars quickly to win. But I give the developers credit for not abusing the in-app purchase model. Also, "Tap to begin" takes about four taps to actually "begin", which is annoying when you're in a hurry.

Blast to play. Great tracks, cars, and graphics. Reminds me of super sprint or rc pro am when I was younger only so much more fun. The only problem I face when playing is sometimes I try to turn and miss the button by a smudge. I would like an option to make the turn buttons a bit bigger. Thanks for making a great game! I play on an iPad 2 and experience no problems with performance btw.

Lots of fun. I loved this game, while I had it. An update came up for it and for some reason did not upload correctly, it was like having dead game it would do nothing. Since I could find no tech support for the app store or any way to contact apple, a friend suggested I delete the app and reload it. I did that and now they want me to pay for it again. Whats up with that?

Best top down racer. I've been looking for a classic top-down racer and first tried 'Mini Motors' and 'Death Rally' but this game is in another class to those titles. Not only does the racing have a great weighty feel to it (and excellent, realistic style graphics) but importantly the menu system, upgrade structure and level selection is well thought out and user friendly. This is one classy top-down racer and I'd be surprised if there's a better one out there on the iOS platform.

The best got better!!. The original was always my fav app and this is even better. The people complaining about the difficulty crack me up. You guys are just crappy drivers. With that said I would like the steering buttons to be bigger. I sometimes lose them when I'm on a track with a lot of turns. Other than that, it's absolutely perfect. And add new cars and tracks please.

AMAZING but weird controls. This game is by far the best game for iPad iPod and iPhone. the graphics are sick!! and the normal arrow controls are great!!! But I tried the other controls and they were completely messed up. But I don't care bc I don't use them. I got this yesterday and I bought the in-game pack for $1.99 twice, and I have the best cars in the game and they are completely upgraded. That's all I have to say-5 STARS!!! Perfect!!! ADDICTING!!!

Fun but first one was the best!!!. I first want to say this game is awesome but the reason I gave it three stars is only because it seems that the first was way more fun. The first one was soo simple and easy, and just about the racing. Also the physics on the first game was playfully fun and just the best ....but this one for some reason is more a serious racing game. It's less about fun, and more about realistic driving .... Which for this type of racing style is not good. That's why we have real racing and real racing two duh?!? This game should be less realistic and more about the fun factor. All in all though not a bad game.

Beast!!. This game blows Reckless Racing 1 out of the water. This game was def well put together, offering tons of cars, each with a load of upgrades/ accessories such as wheels, kits, window tint etc. the tracks are very cool with transitioning road surfaces ( dirt to road) making your car handle differently. This makes the game very fun and also challenging. Even though there are tons of tracks I do hope to see more in future updates!! PS: for the guy complaining about the CAMERA, go to OPTIONS and switch the camera to "CHASE" then it will be BEHIND YOU!!!!! Ding Dong!

Loved the first. If you liked the first this is a must buy. The game at first felt very laggy and not what I was expecting. Give the game time and once your car is upgraded the controls will feel more natural if you have played the first RR. This game is incredibly polished. The controls and graphics are amazing. Love this game!

Great vehicle upgrade strategy. Of the many racing games this one has a great balance of accelerator use and steering. It also smartly limits your upgrades to make you choose between speed, acceleration and handling. The auto dynamic difficulty setting ability for the CPU opponents also makes the races challenging. Also has dirt and paved track segments for different characteristics. Check it out!

Very disappointed buyer.. I only purchased this game to see what the hype was about. The game has very delayed controls with terrible car drifting. The AI system forces the user to almost never acquire a cup win and there are several other bugs throughout the application. Although the graphics are mildy enjoyable when you are custimizing your car, you can barely even notice any differences when it comes to the actual gameplay after the customization. Very disappointed. 2/5.

Amazing game. Well worth 5 bucks. It's kinda like forza, but top down. Works flawlessly on my 4s. Hasn't crashed once. But still hiccups now and again when crossing finish lines, or at the very beginning of a race. But this game is well worth the money, great graphics, near perfect controls, lots of upgrades and cars. Although, there needs to be wayyyy more tracks. There's a good variety, but I still want more. Overall, great purchase. I recommend this game!

Shoot. I loved this game, until the update. Now I can only finish every race I do without it crashing, even after restarting my phone. The graphics are incredible, and it's a ton of fun when it's working, but if this were on OSX, there would be outrage. For some reason we've come to accept crashing on mobile, even though the developers are working in a very controlled iOS environment…then again, it's probably a lot harder than we think to make this kind of game work.

Love the game but it needs a few bug fixes. This is a great game I like being able to buy cars and upgrade them. The controls are the same as RR1 so if you like that then you are good. I am fine with them. However this game needs an update to fix some crashing issues entering into the "arcade races" and it doesn't always save after races so I end up having to re-do races which is very annoying. fix that and it's 5 stars. I use an iPod 4g btw.

Pretty good. I think that the game is great it gives us a great deal of cars and game modes and and upgrades but I think that you should be able to get a car gold after you win a certain amount of races and I also think you should be able to set up a costum game and choose the laps number of cars choose which cars and choose witch map... But over all it is a great game

Great game, crashes FAR too often. First off, let me just say that this game is a really good racing game. It plays like the old school top down racers we all grew up with (RC Pro Am, Rock n' Roll Racing,) but with really fun drifting based driving physics. The Downside? This game crashes at the start of almost every other race. What makes this more frustrating is that you lose the completion of the race before it crashed. Or worse, if you make any purchases with your race earnings, the money you spent is lost, but you don't have the items you purchased, essentially just stealing your money with the crash. Avoid this game at all costs unless thy manage to fix the crashes.
