Missing some content. The GPIO section diagrams all look the same regardless of which operation mode you’re looking at. Microcontrollers should really have an STM32 section. Other than that a useful tool. Would be helpful to have frequency as an option for spectrum instead of nanometers.

Just remarkable!. As an electrical engineering student, this app has far more than I could have ever hoped. The free version is okay, but the app truly shines once you unlock the other features. I especially like the function generator, 555 timers, and logic gates. You can tell a lot of time and effort have been put into this.

Found this a couple weeks after I really needed it. Free version is great for those starting in electronics/electrical Paid version I haven’t tried yet but from what I’ve seen I’d say it’s worth the roughly $10 if you need some of those options

Nice to add.. Yes it’s updates making the app goes so far as preferred, but in the field of Rectifiers:- there is no center tap Rectifying, it would be also good to add it. thanks for a great app.

This App Rules-Glad to pay for full version. This app is incredible. I graduated in mechanical engineering, and found that although I had been exposed to some circuit basics, I didn’t know where to start when working on my own electronic projects at home. This app has done wonders in improving my understanding and ability to build an intuition for what is going on. Well Worth the price for the full version!! Thank you -

3/4 of its functions in the free version are locked.. 3/4 of the functions in the free version are locked. I understand that a free app will have to have some features disabled, but 3/4 of them? There needs to be more enabled functions on the free version. Deleted the app within five minutes of downloading. You can do better than that. P.S. >:(

Everything you cannot do in your head is locked behind a paywall. Nothing I cannot do in my head available without upgrading. Not worth the money to upgrade.

Genuinely Useful. This is a well thought out and genuinely useful piece of software that ends up saving me hours on every project. It is worth the extra money for the pro version, as you will see if you try the free version. The documentation portal aspect alone is a helpful tool (how many times have you had to search for your GPIO wiring diagrams because you forgot which pin is 5V and which is 3.3V) and add on top all the remaining aspects and it’s well worth it.

Very useful app!. I wish I had this available when I studied electronics engineering ages ago. Now I am getting back into electronics as a hobbyist and this app is making the journey so much easier. Please keep adding content to it!!

Not many options, unless you spend $7.99. Being a developer myself, I don’t see this app as a good value. This should include a few more options before you have to pay. It should at least be somewhat useful. The 30% / 70% should be implemented. I hope the developer takes my comment and updates the app. I feel many more users will download after making some small changes.

Almost amazing. This app looks like exactly what I’m looking for. Seems pretty easy to use, has the formulas, etc. I find myself wishing there were more circuits included though. I’m an EE student and working with op amps right now. There’s a bunch of fairly standard circuits included, which may be everything most people would need for working in the field. However, I’m running into circuits not included - such as an Multiple-Feedback Bandpass (MFB) active filter. I appreciate what they have here; I would just recommend looking to see if it has everything you need (or that you’re okay looking up what isn’t here yourself) before buying it.

Move over CDC handbook. This is a phenomenal app. Just the data sheets alone are worthy, but the breadth of stuff here is amazing.

The best electronic app I have found. Great app and updates have been frequent and big improvements. New ver. is really worth the upgrade for those that have not yet upgraded!

Kirchhoff’s laws?. I love it. It’s a great tool for the money. I would like to see node analysis and Kirchhoff’s laws added.

Indispensable Companion. EE Toolkit is the reason I own an iPad. This app is the best tool next to a DVM! Everything one needs to know or forgot from school is right at one’s fingertips speeding up any electronic endeavor. This is a must have application for any creative individual in the field of electronics.

Garbage. Another locked behind paywall software that wont help a novice build their own circuit. Instead its all comprehensive to what these narcissistic electrical engineers think

Not useful. Basically everything useful is locked. Mosfets are locked, Arduino®️locked, and the only way to unlock is to pay for the pro version, and you can just search how to use the things that are mentioned above in Google. So this app is useless.

Must have!. I had the free version for a whole ten minutes. This app is absolutely incredible and never ceases to amaze. I’d buy it twice just to support the developers

Worst ever. I would say it is not the best but not the worst. I say this because it says upgrade to premium and you will get this and that. But a plus is that they say spend 7.99 some dollars. Like why though it is literally useless.😬🤮🤢🥱😿😾

One of the best apps. I've had an iPhone for years and have never spent money on an app, but I couldn't go without this one. One of the best apps I've ever come across and is a must-have for anyone involved in any type of engineering, at any level.

Don’t buy this app. This app doesn’t have all the documents available in it the pdf are empty and most of them and the apple also refuses to refund.

Easy to use... Whether your a student or an EE, this simple program delivers quick and easy calculation. Basically, it is a time saver. It is good to find such an app for a change that delivers upon its promise. For $7.99 upgrade it is well worth the expense. No more sitting down drawing out and using a calculator, loading up a major EDA program to do simple calculations, this program fit comfortable in the center of those two extremes.

A couple things before I hand over $7.99. This looks like it has potential, but I see a few issues. 1) On an iPhone XS screen, the brown resistor band appears as dark red. I deal with color every day, and my phone display is fine. Perhaps find a more neutral brown color to use. 2) Browsing through the free features, I managed to activate a musical note in the function generator that sent my speaker into a high pitch. I could not stop it. Muting the volume did not work, and I had to press the power button. Hope to see more, as I’m just starting into electronics.

So far so good!. Excellent time saver when it comes to substituting component values in a circuit & see the effect it has on the voltage/current changes in the rest of the circuit.

If you like it BUY THE PRO VERSION not the upgrade. First: This is an EXCELLENT set of tools. I have a BS in Electrical Engineering, General Radio Telephone FCC license with Radar Endorsement, Amateur Extra FCC License, RF test and measurement equipment, etc. This Thomas Gruber did a masterful job putting these tools together. My only problem was buying the upgrade, unlocking features instead of just buying the Pro Version. The "Restore" locked to unlocked just did not work on my new iPad. Thanks to Thomas for his suggestions, but none of them helped. I've seen this on other apps so my guess is that it is just an undocumented "feature" of the way the App Store works. No problem. I just followed my own advice, purchased the Pro version, and now it is installed and works fine. Buy this APP or better Toolbox of Apps. It's one of the best Apps on my iPhone and iPad. I also have the HP-41C App and these two are the best Engineering support Apps I have. Revised July 31, 2017

What I needed. The convenience factor of having so much easily accessed in one place is the big advantage for my position, where I am constantly jumping around in a broad range of spec detailing.

Useful. Pretty useful set of tools. I use it quite frequently and having shortcuts on hand makes things much easier

Great tool!. One tool I've been using regularly is the dB cross calculator. It seems I'm always going back and forth between different units and this is the most complete tool I've found - even those on the web. Add in all the other tools, for fun and work, and I find this a very useful app - well worth the price.

Handy. The tools are very handy and convenient as most implied and that is the expectation to some degree but for the novice user it puts professional information at one's fingertips.

Works for me!. This app is what I have been looking for for my electrical circuit projects. It has tools for calculating and selecting electrical components for all kinds of electrical circuits. Works well for me with my hobby projects.

Great Resource. I have been trying to get my son started with what he has been talking about doing for a while. I found the Raspberry Pi and needed a perfect reference source for his projects. Wish I had this when I went through my college avionics courses. It's easy to ask him questions and point to this program for the answers.

Great app for electrical hobbies!. When I downloaded this app I thought I would use it a handful of times and it would be pretty useful, but I was wrong. I've used it more than I'd like to admit, a true life saver!

Very Useful. I work in the oilfield, which on occasion sends me to locations that don't have cell reception/wifi. This app is incredibly useful. I especially like the connector pin outs and amperage ratings. The layout is perfect and I approve of the thumbnail style display.

A great reference tool. This is the one tool i go to while in school. It's easy to navigate and understand. The pro is a bit expensive to me but if you use it a lot, it could be useful.

Great App for refreshing your memory!. I love this App. I had a job interview coming up and I knew I was going to have to take a Electronics test which I was so worried about. I downloaded this and it really helped refreshed my memory from all the stuff I forgot from school. Needless to say I passed the test and got the job all thanks to this App!!!!

One of my most-used apps. Use this all the time. The info button that explains what each calculator actually is is a nice touch. However it does seem to still be missing pcb trace copper weights on the PCB Trace Width section.

Great program. I am a novice and love the ideas that electronic let one have. I have learned so much from this app program that I used what I have learned to build two projects that worked, Like magic my son said.

Convenient. Great app for having some commonly referenced tools and calculators handy. A bit pricey for info that can be found with a quick Google search but here it is all in one place.

5 stars all the way!. I see some lower ratings but for the average person and/or student this is the most valuable app to own. The features are off the charts, while EE with advanced degrees and NASA scientist may not get much use out of this I can assure you it’s perfect for everyone else. Well done Tom!!!

Pretty useful app. This app is pretty good for a lot of basic things. I've only used it for about 2 weeks this far and everything seemed to be on point. I would like to use it longer before I give a 5star review. I would definitely recommend this app.

Nice beginner app for basic formulas. The free version is worth trying, it just offers fairly basic electronics items like serial resistors, ohms law and such. Not bad thought as it does the calls for you. It also has many locked features that look very good and appear to be worth the payable upgrade at $6.99. Will be trying the upgrade soon

Great package of EE Apps. I needed a function generator and purchased the Pro version. Hard to believe you get that much performance and options on a program that runs on your phone or pad. Highly recommend this series of Apps. Money well spent!

App does it all. If you are serious about electronics and the engineering break down, this is the app for you. A one stop shop that is well worth the money.

Not Recommended. I came across this app when looking for a mobile way to design schematics. This app sadly doesn't let you do that (or at least from what I can tell), but it still looked promising. This lead me to download it. Initially I was actually quite amazed at what it had to offer, and I clicked on the various features to try them out. This is where I began to get disappointed. Basically everything in the app is "locked", which means you have to pay to use it. This is where my frustration occurs. The only feature which I can honestly say I still use is the 7400 series logic feature. Everything else is either plain garbage or has to be purchased. So is it worth getting? Maybe. I don't think its worth it, due to the fact that very little features are available for free, but it MIGHT be useful if you pay for everything. Its hard to say. I DO agree with the fact that not everything can be free, and the fact that the developers need to be rewarded for their efforts. However, I feel like the app provides so LITTLE features that it is almost impossible to want to take the chance to buy the PRO version, since the free version has so much to hate. Its just so frustrating that you almost immediately want to just get it out of your view.

Students and new engineers need this. In a tough job market, you need to be correct and swift. Having all the tools helps you do it.

So many tools!!. As a programmer and engineer I am finding new helpful features in this app every day. I don't pay for many things in this world of free phone apps but it only took 1 day for me to say "I gotta buy the full version!"

Great content and organization but.... The pro version is a bit pricey ... I feel like the app is just a convenience wen you can find everything you need to know in a text book or on the internet... That being said it is a super useful app that saves a lot of time that would be spent flipping through pages to check if you are remembering something correctly. But i think the price is a bit steep for nothing that you don't have access to already.

Great tool. It is a great tools with formulas that allows you to developing and understanding the concept of the electricity. Highly recommended for those people who are interesting to become an electrical engineer.

It's always at my fingertips. Nothing here that can't be found elsewhere, but the value is in having it all in one place. I don't often have the need for most of the information, and I can't remember everything from project to project. This makes it easy to brush up on theory and to have the ability to run the numbers without getting a migraine.

Wish I would've found this sooner!. I already downloaded and purchased less featured apps that cluttered my phone. I now have only a select few apps. I'm happy to say this is my go to source for my EE tools and reference material. I do wish there were page dots on the menu pages. 3.99 for the full version is a great deal too.
