Too linear.. If you want more stars please explain how to get logarithmic sweeps and logarithmic scale for the frequency slider. A linear sweep is pretty useless in the audio world.

Loads of functions, no functionality. Would be good if the dumb thing worked right. Buttons don't respond, settings don't keep. And the GUI, man, it's bad. Wanted this app to be great...

Best bang for the buck, 2nd only to.... Tom Gruber’s other application Multitone Pro. All his applications are phenomenal though; especially the EE Toolkit! The only suggestions I have are to enable ping-pong sweeps in the Multitone windows and to allow sweeping of the noise/adding noise in the Multitone sweep (with a sweeping bandpass filter).

Outstanding App!. The details and options of controlling sound waves is more than you could ask for in a iOS app! It’s pure mathematics in your hand... and ears! Although I have many technical/scientific uses for it, I like to set up a deep-bass, oscillation, multiphase-waveform as I lay on a couch with a subwoofer underneath - a fully customizable back massage... the ultimate no-contact TENS device! Thank you to the developer for keeping it up all these years!

Good multiple use app. I've used this both as a sound generator (to test mic pickup) and as a hearing check. In the latter use, I discovered a "notch" of deafness in my right ear at about 1960 Hz. This was not picked up by a different app that specializes in hearing testing, so I was grateful for this app showing it to me. You can be sure I'll be discussing it with my doctor.

Great Tool. This update crashes on a iPad Air2 when changing screens. I'm certain the dev will fix this up till now superb app. uninstalled-reboot-reinstalled fixed this...now all is well.

Versatile. I’d been using the basics but recently needed something pretty weird. The 48 customizable presets and the BPM modulation feature allowed me to achieve what I needed. A GREAT app. Thank you!

Screwy Volume. Screwy volume when using the iPhone side buttons. Jumps up and down by 6 or more, also displays wrong volume level (sometimes even shows “muted” when not). NEEDS to be increased and decreased by 1. Slider works fine but I very much dislike sliders especially when they’re that small. Other than that nice app with lots of features. Using on iPhone 12 Pro and iPad Pro 9.7, same issue on both. Please fix! Will change to 5⭐️ when this issue is fixed. Update: I wasn’t aware the volume button issue was an Apple limitation. Hats off to the developers for being so attentive to the end users. Outstanding app! Money well spent.

Great App. I am a movement specialist and kinesiologist. I use this app to stimulate the vestibular system for different reasons and I also use it to do my own rehab. Best app I've seen yet!! I had purchased another app that was 10x more expensive than this one and it does not even compare. Function Generator allows me to change the settings so I can individualize the therapies on my clients. GREAT App. Highly recommended!

Does not work. This app. Appears to work but the frequencies stick and the program is useless. The creator is not helpful he tells you the app is fine and then you have to delete and download again only to find app still does not work on a new iPad

IT'S AN ELECTRONIC TUNING FORK!!!. I tune pianos and this app greatly helps me to set the temperament. It works much better than using tuning forks.

Does everything I wanted. Awesome app to test and tune your set up or just to test the capabilities of your speakers. I like to use my finger to slide through the frequencies.

Great app. Nicely done. As I am doing experimentation with biological systems, would it be possible to extended the time available for 600 minutes to say, six or eight hours? Also it would be helpful if it could be set to stay at each selected frequency for several minutes to be able to watch for effects.

A Bargain. I wanted something that would play audio tones on my iPad, and that I could connect from the headphone output to a line input on my amplifier, so I could test my speakers. And when I did I found a significant channel imbalance, and a burnt out tweeter! - easy to pick on tones but not so easy on music. Of the three apps I downloaded to try, this was the only one I could get to work as I wanted. It uses a table of 16 preset tones, with +/- a few Hz, or you can set your own tones. Also different waveforms, noise, and sweep are available. A bargain, and highly recommended.

All inclusive signal generator. Sweep function is great. Also use the noise generator for optimizing sound redirection panels. This is a functionally practical tool ,not overwhelmed with useless graphics.
