Just like the “real thing”. We’ve had one for years and so far this has acted just like it. Having the user manual at hand is nice to get those “once in a long while” calculations done right.

Doesn't work with new Apple update. I've used this app for years for work on the fly. It's a Great app, but it doesn't work with the IOS update. Hopefully the developer can fix the bug. If they do then back to 5 star

Was good once. I loved this app for years. Worked just like the calculator With the recent iOS upgrade it just crashes. I deleted it, paid for it again, and still no improvement.

Love it. This app works like the real Ba II calculator, but with more shining UI and easy-to-use features. I use it on my iphone and ipad, which are always close to me. worth every penny.

finance students' favorite app. Almost all my finance students use this app instead of the real BA II calculator. it works fast and reliable. it is really convenient since every one has a phone. anytime anywhere to calculate a finance problem with it.

Works well and developers responded to issues.. ***update: developer fixed issue and all is right with the world*** I used this for about 6 months and was happy with it. However, on/around September 2019 it started to fail to open. Even with reset, hard start, or uninstall/reinstall it still does not work. If this was free, I wouldn’t mind. But paying for it and having it fail is frustrating. Use a free one until this bug is fixed.

Just like the real Calculator!. Absolute defiance for all those teachers who said you won't have a calculator in your pocket for the rest of your life. This is just like the real deal. Plus there are tons of you tube videos that have tutorials for calculating TVM and CF with the real Calculator. Works the same on the app.

Great Calculator - Poor iPad App. Calculator works great...but the app only works in portrait mode and does not support split screen or overlay features build into iPads rendering it pretty useless if you are trying to use it for work on the iPad. It would also be nice to be able to view/export a register and amortization tables like the other BA II Plus app.

Apple you really need to take this app down.. It completely stopped working a month or two ago after an IOS update, and the app itself has not been updated in a year. The developer seems checked out. Selling a product that doesn’t function at all is pretty unethical for both the developer and Apple. Take it down or fix it!

App Stopped Working. App stopped working a few months ago as a result of iPhone update. It shows a blank screen when opening. It was a great tool before that.

Smart, but not smart enough. I bought this hoping to emulate my OLD Texas Instruments calculator. I am pretty good at figuring out new things but so far have failed to get this app to perform at all. No user documentation and no support available. Also was unable to figure out if there is a way to give a rating of zero stars. Back to school??

App Doesn’t Move Past Launch. This app works on neither my iPhone XS Max or iPad Pro. The app launches, comes to a launch screen with the app title and never progresses. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, confirmed that I am on the latest update of iOS and performed hard resets of my iPhone but nothing. Huge waste of $6

Not compatible with iPad in keyboard. Ah man, it says compatible with iPad! Nope, not in the normal keyboard orientation. And there's no split screen mode either! You should disclose all iPad limitations so that we don't have to pay for it to find out! I need to have the calculator open alongside my browser.

App will not open. I found another review that the app wouldn’t open. After clicking on the app it would bring up the opening screen and then freeze. After sitting for a few minutes it would then shut down. Yes I have restarted my phone and redownloaded the app. Nothing works. I am very frustrated with this because I happen to have failed a test since the calculator wouldn’t open. I want a refund.

it’s finally working again. it took until ios 14 is on the horizon to get it working again in ios 13. it’s a 5 star app but crashing on open, without a fix, for that long is cause for concern

Not as advertised! Don’t buy!!. I just got this app so I’m still experiencing it but I bought this app based on the assertion that it has the ability to Store numbers in memory (a simple and clear cut function!). This function does NOT work!! You can store a number and retrieve it only in the same session. If you leave the calculator and return, all stored numbers are erased. Not like the real calculator by any means. Very unhappy with this misrepresentation!! I wouldn’t but this app!!!

Slow to fix major Bugs. Super useful app, but the Developer is slow to fix major bugs. Went 4 months completely broken after iOS 13 before a patch.

Way cheaper alternative to the actual calculator that does exactly the same thing!. Hmmm...$60 versus $6. Figure that math out! This does exactly the same thing as the calculator without having to carry one more thing around. Money well spent!

Not working anymore. I bought (and paid) this app years ago and it worked well. Now the app is no longer opening and I cannot use. This is a issue that needs to be fixed.

You don't need the more expensive apps. Didn't have my BA II with me. This app was not very expensive and did a great job in a pinch.

Do not purchase this app. This app not only did not work at all but it froze up my entire iPhone XR. When I messaged the company for a refund they never responded so now I’m out $5. Do not waste you money

Great Emulator. This BA II Plus emulator works just like the real thing. I haven't found an error or difference between it and my actual BA II Plus yet. Keep up the good work!

Not working with Apple Update!!. Love this app and use it daily if not hourly in my line of work. Since updating my phone to the most recent IOS, app is no longer working and stays frozen on home screen. Will there be an update for this???

Good but enhancements needed. App is good and mirrors my BA II Plus. Developer needs to incorporate multitasking, split screen and landscape functions so calculator can be used alongside other apps namely a note taking app to enhance efficiency.

Update for iOS 13 fixed and working. I paid for this app less than a year ago, and it worked great. Now it just closes out after opening it, despite iOS 13 update 3 days ago. Update. They’ve fixed the bug and It’s working again and I’m very satisfied.

Perfect app, now that it is updated. I love this app, used it for years, then it was not updated and stopped working. I used it instead of my physical financial calculator. Thanks for updating it to the new IOS, now I use it everyday again.

Awesome calculator!. Easy to use! Everything I need for work!

Needs multitasking support. The calculator functions are great, but it really needs leverage multitasking on iPads. I end up taking out my phone during class to use the app on it rather than being able to use the slide over app feature on my iPad. With that addition, it would be a 5 star app.

App No Longer Working. Like everyone else, I’m writing to share that my favorite BA II Plus emulator is apparently not compatible with iOS 13. Since the iOS 13 upgrade, as others have described, the app hangs at the start screen and if left untouched long enough will eventually crash. There are ways to get it to start, but they’re unreliable and honestly, who has time when you’re trying to rattle off some quick math? I teach a real estate lending class to a number of people each year, all of whom used to purchase this app. I guess it’s time to look elsewhere as support is unresponsive and the app reviews have gone unanswered.

the best BA II Plus Professional. Remember: this is BA II Plus Professional app with more functions than BA II Plus. This is the only BA II Plus Professional app. other apps just emulates BA II Plus.

love this BA II app. I have relied on it for a couple years. it works like a charm. do yourself a favor to buy it. it is perfect for any financial professionals or students.

Cannot even OPEN the app. I bought this calculator application as recommended by my professor for my finance class. After downloading it I tried to open it and it just sat at the initial opening screen forever. I left it open and eventually it closed/crashed itself. This may have something to do with me running the iOS13 beta on my phone which isn’t released to the public yet but when I went to download the calculator, it said it was compatible with my current iOS. Everything said, I would appreciate a refund and would be more than happy to change my review upon receiving one. I’m sure it’s a great app, but I haven’t been able to use it. Also- I did try hard restarting my phone and re-downloading the app, but nothing changed.

Doesn’t load. I was excited to get a financial calculator on my phone and enjoyed working with this one for a couple of months. However, since then, it has not opened on my phone again. It simply sits on the load screen and then goes back to the iPhone main menu. Not sure what I can do about it. It seems that after the last iPhone update, this is the only app that stopped working.

Broken on iOS 13. Very frustrating. I use this app all of the time, but it does not launch on iOS 13.

Works well, great price. Costs less than half the price of the TI version and has performed the same functions.

Just like my old calculator. Works the same as my old calculator that I had for years. I use it to compute loans and investments. Very handy. Make sure that you input payments as a negative ( - ). Very handy to have built into my phone! And a lot less$$$.

Not Good. Horrible Apple Watch interface and won’t amortize correctly. Payments per year might be off but can’t fix due to manual access provided in app won’t load.

Does not work in iOS13.. Developers have gone out of business? Their website is no longer loading and the app doesn’t work anymore. Should be removed from the AppStore.

Lags/keys not registered on iPad. Previous version was good with the iPad but with this new interface many of the key strokes do not register! Please fix soon.

Bad interface. Just updated the app and find the app become less interesting. Please bring (back) the option to change the calc's skin into the old (classic BA calc) one.

Wrong results. This is second financial calculator I purchased in 2 days and both malfunction. Simple calculation: N=5 (years) PV= 5000 (dollars), present value FV= 8000 (dollars), future value I want to calculate % (I/Y) value. Result = ERROR 2 (??) This calculator suppose to emulate TI BA35 calculator. Here is result of same problem when entered into BA35 and it is 9.856% Somebody suppose to make important financial decision based on calculations and there is no such thing on iTunes.

wrong calculation. I am real estate brocker and use the real BA II Plus for my work. I payd your application because , I thought that having only the IPhone with me is much easier. With my BA II Plus to calculate a mortgage (P/Y=12, and C/Y=2) : 200000+_ PV, 0 FV, 300 N, and 3.59 I/Y, the corect calculation give= 1010.92 $/month. Your aplication with the same seting (P/Y=12, and C/Y=2) and 200000+- PV, 0 FV, 300 N, 3.59 I/Y, CPT - PMT = is giving 3607.35$/month ??????

Financial Calculator. Very accurate and user friendly application. Interface is exactly like the hand held model and works well. Exactly like the HP hand held calc. Very much worth the money.

Infrequent update. The update was recently done but for a while it had not worked before the recent update. Otherwise I really like this app!

Great App. If I'm on the phn and use the app, the bottom part of the app is hidden. Also, it would be nice to see 2 lines of input as I try to do complex calculations.

Vicinnio Pro v3.46. The Vicinnio BA Financial Calculator Pro v3.46 for use on the iPad is currently affected by a small issue that needs to be addressed immediately. The issue pertains to the following buttons: CE/C_ 0_. _+\-_= (i.e., the five buttons across the bottom). The use of these buttons is presently unreliable. In order for them to be effective, we need to press the top half of the button. Pressing these buttons in the centre has no effect. Keep in mind this only applies to the iPad. I will be on the lookout for a update to the app. C. D.

good but take notice. I downloaded the app at a great price and immediately tested against my TI stand alone BA2+. At first it was giving some contradictory answers; I seem to have remedied that by setting the decimal places to floating. I think the errors show the app does not have the same internal memory as the true TI; meaning it used the numbers shown on the screen to do the calcs while TI uses the entire number while showing it rounded. still haven't used it enough to say that's the only problem but for the price it's worth it for quick calcs. I will be double checking my answers with BA2+ for awhile until this one earns my trust.

There are errors!. Using this calculator, (1+0.5\2)=3 Without the ( ), the calculation is correct. I already set it to AOS mode. It doesn’t handle parentheses correctly

Glitches on editing portfolio, cannot handle options. Good program, which I use a lot. The two features that need a fix: 1. In the Edit mode, the program frequently freezes during the process and won't respond to taps on the screen. One can often clear this by going to a different portfolio, doing an edit there and returning to the first portfolio. This doesn't always work. Usually happens after the first couple of edits, not the first. Interestingly, it is worse on my iPhone 5 than on my iPad mini, but it happens on both. 2. The App still can't accept option positions. As I have many options, this always throws off my portfolio value, and also makes me have to sign into my broker's app to see what's going on.
