Beware! Using this app will likely lead to an increase in your insurance premium. I just finished speaking with a GEICO representative who advised me that my renewal rate was increased and included a “DriveEasy” surcharge of $128 and the loss of a $67 “DriveEasy” discount due the data collected by this app and GEICO’s DriveEasy program. Basically what this app does is spy on your driving behavior. It collects data which is used to determine your insurance premium according to GEICO’s DriveEasy frequently asked questions on their website. So if you are driving while distracted (using your phone), frequent hard braking, don’t slow down when approaching curves or making left / right turns (cornering) and frequent acceleration then GEICO will use the “DriveEasy” data collected by this spy app to increase your premium. What makes this so unfair is that only about 10% of the time I was driving the car that GEICO insures in the United States. Most of my driving was done in a foreign country in a car not insured by GEICO. Also I do use Uber a lot and the app cannot distinguish if I am the driver or passenger while it is collecting data. So it’s quite unfair that I have to pay this $128 surcharge because I was frequently using my phone while using Uber or public transportation…for the driving behavior of an Uber driver and for not being in the United States.

Shady. I’m a disabled veteran on a strict budget. I use the 6 payment option for that purpose. The app said that I didn’t have a payment due in October, but since they credited me a discount due to the Corona Virus and because my policy is paid in advance I now have a double payment due in November. Again, no payment due in October, but a double payment due in November when I could have paid an October payment and stayed on my budget. When I called customer service, the rep said I could fix it if I got on autopay. I feel like the app misled me to give customer service a chance to sell me on autopay and to make me feel like my only choice was to set up autopay. Seems pretty shady creating a situation forcing me to call customer service, make me feel like I don’t understand the situation and try to sell me on autopay. Eg. “We didn’t make a sales call to you, you called us.” I don’t like giving access to my bank account to every Tom, dick and Harry. Seriously annoying.

No help with accident. I was rear ended by another driver who also has geico. Police officers arrived and informed me I can file on as I was on my was to work , but was given the wrong information because no police report number is provided when you self report in the state of Florida.I have provided photos of the scene of the accident the other drivers license, registration, geico insurance card a print out of the transcript of the 911 called place. The other driver so called contacted a lawyer no the driver and the lawyer will not respond nor contact geico. Geico states they can’t contact them and with out talking to the other driver now there is nothing they can do for me . You cannot contact the person you insurance, I bet if he stopped paying you would continue to reach out to him. Now I have a damaged vehicle with out even an update from geico . I’ve called over and over and over for over a month waiting for a representative for over an hour each time on the phone . Wasting my time and still nothing no updates geico has given up at this point . I have been a customer for many years on and off with no accidents till I move to Florida the wild Wild West of drivers. I mean come on he hit me at a red light the proof is in the pudding. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.

Geico Misrepresented and now I’m out of work.. Geico misrepresented a payment on my account and my account went negative while I was experiencing financial hardship. I made sure on two different occasions that my account wouldn’t be charged, and I was told “Not to worry”. A few days later, my account was charged and my account was overdrawn. I understand my bank account is my responsibility, and I was making it my responsibility by communicating with Geico to make sure they wouldn’t charge my account. Geico now tells me that it will take several days for the $$$ to be credited to my account. I made sure to follow the steps I needed to take; Geico misrepresented themselves, and did not take consideration of my situation. This wouldn’t be such a big problem if Geico actually followed through with what they said they were going to do… I now have to call off an entire weekend of work where I can’t get paid. Why you ask? Because I can’t put gas into my car and drive to work this weekend. I work as a DoorDash driver; so I NEED gas in my car in order to work. I have zero credit and I have no friends or family that can gift me funds. I am doing the best that I can, and I’m working very hard to get out of my financial hardships. Geico has royally screwed me, as I now cannot work this weekend or put food onto my table because of their misrepresentation. I will not be renewing my policy with them.

Pressure to use app. I downloaded the app, but I preferred road side assistance when it was not all automated. The provider ask me for feedback before the service was completed. I am waiting for service now but the app is no longer giving updates. When I called it warned me about long wait times and referred me back to the app. The app seems to be almost mandatory so I recommend it. However since I do not have unlimited cellular data or wi if while traveling it does not inspire me with confidence that the company pushes the app so much. Last year also had a problem when I reported an accident. It did not give me enough options and reported the accident as my fault when it was not. It was a year before all departments within Geico corrected the error. There are just problems when drop down box communication is the only option. Still waiting for roadside service and getting no updates about time. Phone service for the company going to voicemail. To knowing if they are coming is a problem

They care and saved me money. I am a real person and this is my story. I have had geico for 4-5 years. It’s something you have and hope you will never use. I was a passenger in a car when I got into a horrific car crash. Geico helped me go after the other insurance company and win. They got my medical bills paid and my rehabilitation. It took a year to get back to full health. I Even had enough left over to get another car. When my car catalytic converter got stolen. Insurance covered it. When my car broke down due to overheating. Insurance covered it. They always find ways to save me money and if you call you get a real person. I am thankful for this company. In this economy nobody can beat their prices. You don’t think about it but when I needed them geico was there. They picked up the phone, greeted us and we said we had been in a crash. The first thing they said was let me call an ambulance, where are you and is anybody injured. The level of empathy was incredible. I honestly expected a sales pitch or an upsell, but they came through. They helped us get through a tough time, and I won’t forever be grateful. Thank you Geico for recognizing we are people and we need help.

GEICO MILITARY IS GREAT EXCEPT . . . . . . .. My wife total a vehicle 2 years ago ( first incident EVER in 6 years ) my rates double, they worked with us, they got me a new car seat and even tried to sue for my deductible ( I declined because they are good insurance ) I’ve had issues with trying to pay in the past with the app freezing and issues with getting declaration pages. I don’t agree with rates changing with policy changes that are extremely small ( adding towing and road side ) they wanted an extra $9 a month even with me having “Triple A” GEICO all in all are fair, and are a great insurance company but for someone who has been with a carrier for over 6 years SHOULD NOT HAVE RATE INCREASES DUE TO STATE LEGISLATION OR THINGS THAT THE POLICY HOLDER CANT CONTROL. KEEP MY PAYMENTS GOING DOWN EVERY 6 MONTHS WITH NO INCIDENTS, DONT TRY AND RAISE MY RATES THE LONGER IVE BEEN EITB YOU GUYS. ESPECIALLY IF THERE ARENT ANG TICKETS OF ANY KIND AND ARENT ANY ACCIDENTS. I was hoping for a lower deductible soon ( I HAVE GAP ) and you guys only pay what market for the vehicle ( LEARNED WITH TOTALING A 2022 BMW XB7 ALPINA ) so if you guys only give market value for a total and the customer holds GAP also there shouldn’t be a big jump in premium.

Geico cares. Geico already has some of the lowest rates out there are all of the transit employees. So great of them giving customers across the board an additional discount with their Give Back program. It’s refreshing to know big business cates about its clients. I’m not one to jump around to different carriers for better rates but when my policy came up for renewal with my local agent I questioned if I was getting all discounts I was eligible for . I had been with them for close to 14 years. When I started digging into my policy I found that I was not getting any of the discounts I qualified for. Then it hit me that because I was a loyal customer I took it for granted that they had my back . Foolish! I was out all those years of discounts. In comes Geico . When I compared rates I was in disbelief. Almost half of what I was paying , close to $900 less! Still in disbelief I went over coverage and one for one all was the same. I called my agent and was told it’s a smaller company and I was getting personal attention to my policy. Needless to say I immediately switched to Geico and so glad I did!

Great company. This is the first time in 30 years I have had an insurance company that actually seems to care about me and want to take care of us and our vehicles. It is very easy to make payments to them. It is very easy to turn in a claim. Their app is user-friendly and you can do almost everything you need to do on it. My husband totaled his car a few months ago. I was astounded at how easy the process was to get it all taken care of. From the accident site we went straight to a rental car agency and they already had a rental car set up for us. Within five days they had our totaled car assessed and a day or two later automatically deposited the money into our account. No waiting for a paper check. The process was very smooth and I will definitely stay with Geico. I would also like to mention that I have had Geico for the last several years and should have put in a review sooner. In the last couple years I have talked to multiple customer service agents and have never spoken with somebody who was rude or condescending. They have always been professional and very courteous.

Great app, great service except for claims. Have been a GEICO customer for many years. The service and app are great. Had a minor accident a couple of months ago. Initial processing was great. The car was towed timely and we were given a rental for a month. Unfortunately, the claims process soon became absolutely painful. The underwriter was not responsive, used an inappropriate comp, and created a nightmare for us. Delay tactics and stonewalling were used to force us to accept a low settlement amount. We had to return the rental after a month and GEICO dropped the dismantled car in our neighborhood to avoid paying garage charges and without our consent. After almost 2 months of no response and upon escalating the claim internally, we were able to reach acceptable agreement. Even then, the underwriter didn’t clearly explain what we need to do nor was interested to help. I hope this was an isolated incident. Our claim processing has left me deeply disappointed in a company that I thought was a leader in the space and one of the best. Fairness and customer service for claims should definitely be reviewed and improved.

GEICO is the best. I’ve been with GEICO for almost a year now. I had switched over from progressive because every time it came time to renew my policy they would increase the cost of my policy. Finally I had enough so I shopped around and I ended up choosing GEICO and I have to admit, it was probably the best decision I could have made when it comes to purchasing an insurance policy. They have been so helpful and to my surprise they have been more understanding than I’d ever imagine. I would highly recommend anyone to switch to GEICO for thier auto policy I promise you will not regret your decision. They have probably the best customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Not only in terms of an insurance policy but all around in general. I plan on doing business with GEICO for as long as I need an insurance policy. Looking forward to buy my first house so they can insure that as well. Thanks GEICO and please keep up the good work

Ca use some improvements. This is mostly feedback for drive easy. I love the idea and it’s great to keeping your rates lower and making sure your kids are driving properly. However there are a few cases it doesn’t handle or doesn’t provide enough feedback for driving improvements. First and and the most annoying is distracted driving sensor. I get the idea, and I actually never handle phone when driving- I use Siri and hands free. But I never drive alone and my kids or other passengers will use it to search places for the next stop or set music play lists. The app will count this as distraction and there’s no way to to tell it that it was the passenger. I wonder how this affects my rates. Second issue is feedback. It will tell you when you did a hard braking and show on the map, but nothing on smoothness or cornering. How can I improve my driving if I can’t say where what was done incorrectly? Finally, there’s no easy way to provide feedback in the app, other than submit a technical issue. Hope Geico is paying attention to reviews.

SHOCKINGLY INCOMPETENT. I have tried for 7 months to update my address. Every single time I try to do this in the App I get “oops we’ve encountered an error”. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. FOR 7 MONTHS. I have spoken to 5 different agents over this period and the issue has STILL not been resolved. The last 3 times I have attempted to use their online chat to speak to an agent, the entire program has crashed, forcing me to start over. I have even communicated with an agent via email, who assured me that my address would be updated. Guess what? It never was. I have just finished waiting through a queue of 44 people to speak to an agent through their online chat. When it was finally my turn and an agent started speaking to me they asked for my first and last name and when I typed it into the response field guess what happened? The entire program crashed, disconnecting me. When I tried to go back again I was then back in a queue of 29 people. That is the last straw. After the IRS, I have never dealt with a more incompetent business/organization than GEICO. They cannot even handle something as simple as updating a customer’s address. I have been a customer of theirs for years, and never ever again. Good riddance to a dumpster fire of a company.

Thank You. After getting into a very serious accident, which can be so upsetting, the professionals at Geico took extra care to make sure I was ok, did I need any help, any services before even discussing my coverage and the next steps. And the concern was genuine; some times it sounds as though a company rep is reading from a script; with Geico staff, it seemed like I was talking to a concerned friend. And at a time like this, when your head is spinning and you don’t know which way is up, a kind, gentle approach like Geico’s makes all the difference in the world. Every other aspect of the process was just as professional and I can’t say enough about Chloe, John and everyone I had the pleasure of working with. But it was the human warmth and genuine kindness offered at such a frightening and upsetting time that really stands out. And please know that I am very grateful, and hope I can pass on the kindness to another who may need a helping hand. Warm regards, Joe Fitzpatrick

App needs work. I am writing this review through transcription via iPad. I can’t see what I’m writing because I guess by writing is white the same color as the background so as you can see this app absolutely needs work. Also when I try to input my new billing information as I hit billing update it did not confirm that the changes were made so my experience with the app has been nothing short and terrible. Get some new coders that my fingertips. The results of this app is indicative of GEICO's reputation. They are far superior than any other insurance company when it comes to customer service. I have been with GEICO for over 20 years and only once have I been disappointed by a certain customer service rep that kind of rushed me through a call though she took care of me that is the least of my complaint. Other than that they have been flawless. And I would recommend geico to anyone even if you're paying slightly less because you can't get pass the customer service and the flawless process that GEICO will give you in the event that you have an accident or need assistance.

Poor customer service. I broke down on the 29th of October. I tried to request a tow through the app (since it was so quick and easy) I was issued a tow company not able to tow my Harley (came in a sling back) I was told by the tow company they didn’t have a truck to accommodate me. They advised me cancel the tow and call to request a flat bed. From that point on I was stuck in a vicious cycle of being routed back and forth between a phone line that was not answered and trying to send me a link to the app which prompted me to call, as I sat on hold physically 3 hours. Finally I called and paid for my tow out of pocket (over $400). Not only was I stuck on the side of the road but also was 6 other people dressed to go to a costume contest but was unable to attend because they sat with me on the side of the road. Maybe all GEICO customer service was out trick or treating their selves. I also reached out to support on Twitter that also got me nowhere. So I hope someone with the authorities to make some changes inside your company gets to read this review. Most insurance companies would have at least reached out and did a customer satisfaction check or something. I have yet to hear from this SO EASY TO SAVE 15% company. I must be paying for it by loosing customer service.

Bad faith business. Barry Bellmore, a Geico claims adjuster out of Los Angeles has tried to pressure me into taking an ultra low value for a custom order vehicle by threatening to “have to look closer & possibly the numbers will come back lower” if I don’t accept the amount offered and I keep pushing for more. This is my own insurance company, I’m highly disappointed and would not recommend #Geico to anyone, friend or foe! They will quit paying for your rental car and then notify you a few days after the fact if you don’t take their low ball offer. The claims adjuster hasn’t even correctly entered my vehicles information for a proper comparison and so far Geico has done nothing to actually correct the errors. Turns out they use mainly rental cars to develop a cars value, strip down rental cars will never have the same value as a fully loaded car that was purchased new from a dealership! This is fraud! These guys are total crooks so be forewarned and buy your auto insurance from somewhere else!

Seems kind of shady. I called in for a quote on another vehicle and I told the agent very clearly that I was looking at a quote and that I wasn’t adding anything to my policy. I only have one car on my policy and was looking to maybe add another car. After a phone call or two I noticed that he DID add another car onto my policy from 247 (keep these numbers in mind) to 400+. When I called to take that second car out immediately I noticed that they also increased my insurance on my first car 🙂. It’s really shady how they added $10 onto my policy. Then with the drive easy app I noticed that it never changes when I have a good driving streak but when I do maybe a few mistakes it goes down fast. When I brought that up to an agent they gave me the same advice that I heard over again. Ok, it was a decent score but even when I drive well and trying to avoid everything my score has went down. I will say that I soon won’t be in business with this company anymore. It’s way too expensive and even after waiting 6 months for it to drop it’s still not as a good deal as the one I had before. I still pay 217.

Peace of Mind. My gratitude and love for Geico Insurance has genuinely grown over the years! There truly is SO much to love while appreciate about this company. For starters, their hospitality anytime I’ve had to call in has been consistently friendly while helpful. However, they’ve made their app incredibly user friendly while immensely resourceful to make everyday needs, or sudden unexpected one’s such as, requesting certain documents available right at your fingertips, so calling, which we do not always have the bandwidth for; is not always necessary! At least you know when you do, it won’t be a dreadful experience! Everything has felt non pressuring, including no usual influx of marketing harassment’s and such compared to other companies. Thank you for making life less stressful. I do hope to continue having a policy with y’all contingent on reasonable rates/ coverages.

Super buggy and no support. I just signed up for Geico with Drive Easy, but the app seems pretty garbage. At first it wouldn’t accept that I had turned on “motion and fitness” in my settings, because the app was taking me to the Geico part of settings but at least on an iPhone it’s in privacy, so I had to uninstall it and start over again. Then I set up my account and password, and every time I selected “keep me logged in” it would erase my password. It told me my password didn’t match, so I reset it, and with the new password got the exact same problem. Just to test my sanity I pulled up a browser and put in the same information and it accepted it just fine. So I uninstalled/reinstalled again, making sure to select “keep me logged in” first and typing in my password and it finally accepted the same information it had rejected a dozen times. I’m now super frustrated, out 45 minutes of my time, and there was no way to contact support through the app. The help section is only FAQs. When I called the agent who signed me up, she did her best to help me but she was just reading from what we’re probably the same FAQs

Seemed a little harsh. Lost a card and didn’t realize it was set for that one on my debit card account but multiple inquiries today from your company sent almost borderline harassment and threatening that my coverage will be canceled within a few days if I didn’t correct. It’s 2023 and everyone’s hurting. I got your guys blood money from my car that I bet if I totally it tomorrow, you probably wouldn’t even really pay me out. Even with my good driving record and the car being a nice car that’s going to increase in value. Personally, it just felt very extortionists especially with this morning getting multiple notifications earlier in the day an rapid concession. I dealt with a loan shark that was more understanding than that. Let alone I just had to log out of card. I lost. Dislike reading that if I couple days, you guys would drop me even know you always get my money on time normally. And field there should be a gratr buffer. For people that might be in need or in a bad situation. Not even an option offered that you just roll me over in the next month. Let me pay double.? Seems a little outrageous.

Broken Windshield. I recently tried to file a claim for a broken windshield, but to my surprise and because I had paid on my policy 6 months ahead of time, my policy had lapsed the month before I made the claim. I never got a curtesy call to renew my insurance. I tried to explain to customer service that the incident happened about a month before I made the claim which at the time my insurance was current. Customer service said I would have to pay out of pocket because when I filed and when the incident actually happened was about a month apart. It just so happen that the time that my wife tried to file the claim was when they’re saying our policy was passed due! I tried to explain to the claims agent that I had set my insurance up for 6 month payments and was unaware that it was time to pay again… I’m very disappointed in GEICO’s treatment of a customer who paid for 6 months in advance and just because of a technical error on the date of the actual incident and the time that my wife reported it and the fact that they were solely going on this and that there was nothing they could do… well I just don’t believe that… this is one of the main reasons why insurance companies get a bad wrap and hard working people like me hate you guys!!!

Very busy retired woman, with very active family of kids and grandkids.. My family has carried Geico auto insurance for over 15 years. The representatives over the phone are extremely pleasant and polite, reassuring and most helpful, clear and accurate. We’ve had it all, over the years, a few fender benders, luckily most serious was whiplash and policy paid all medical expenses for medical care. Someone did sue is for damages and after several years of refusing to accept settlement case dismissed. Geico assigned an extremely competent lawyer who kept us well informed. In the end they were not awarded anything and case was dismissed. Cost of coverage is cost competitive. They provide easy, quick access both online and over the phone and it only takes a call to make any type of changes to coverage, add or remove vehicles. The customer service and claims management never disappoints. The auto repair shops they refer to are A+. We have several vehicles including dump truck and large trailer, 3 cars, and a motorcycle. Everyone in my family from age 16-75 recommends Geico without hesitation.

App Support. I have been using this app for many years now and one of my favorite features was the “Find gas” feature. I am beyond furious that you took this away. I could actually be sitting at a traffic light, open the app and quickly tap on this feature on the app to find gas quickly around me, pull over and get it. Now you took this feature away. I opened the app in the App Store and there is a highlighted blue area to tap on to ask the developer a question, but it just navigates back to the original app page. I want this feature back on my app. I need this to help me. Gas prices are so high and I have to have this help to quickly find affordable gas quickly. Why would you do something like this in these difficult times. I am so angry about this. No one asked me if I wanted to keep this feature or if I mind it being removed. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Good but needs work. Overall the app is good. It’s a little slow and somewhat clunky to use could definitely use some updates to the UI. My biggest gripe is with the vehicle maintenance tracking feature. It’s a great idea and I like that I can track all my maintenance in one place but it’s a pain to use. Half the time I try and access my records I’m prompted to register for a free car fax account. I then have to go back and forth until it will finally take me to “my garage”. I ended up registering for a free cardiac account thinking this would eliminate this but it lead to a bigger problem. I had been tracking oils changes etc., which I do myself, with the app which states powered by carfax and even had some records in there from previous services but, after registering a free account and adding my vehicles none of my tracked maintenance showed up on the carfax history. I double checked this on the carfax website with same result. I also had some receipts and invoices uploaded to the app and although they are there and I can view them I can’t download them to add them to the official carfax maintenance record. What’s worse is I can’t find where I can access this info on the actual GEICO website to download them.

Disappointed with the app. I really like GEICO as my insurance company but I have a serious issue with their app. I frequently drive with my son’s in the truck with me. Sometimes navigating is required at which time one of my son’s uses my phone because that’s where the directions are located or to make a phone call for me. When this happens I fed admonished over losing my “hands free” record and I lose points on my driving record which could cause me to lose my discount. I could always go into the app and say I wasn’t driving but that would be lying. I could say I was the passenger or was not on the car but I would be lying. There is absolutely no option stating someone else was using my phone. I have expressed my frustration with this to a representative over the phone but got shrugged off. Surely it couldn’t be that difficult for you to add that option. I’ve also gotten the warning when I’ve pulled over and parked my truck to make a call and am not moving. It’s highly annoying. Please fix these issues.

Amazing. My mind is honestly blown. I called because of a incredibly minor error on our policy, my last name didn’t reflect my name change after getting married, and I wanted to make sure it matched my license. I called Geico’s number from the mobile app, due to me calling from the app all of my info was automatically available to the representative, SUPER convenient. There was no wait time (I known thats not always possible but I’m very happy about it) the representative was professional, knowledgeable, and quick. Most importantly he was in a fantastic mood, and really seemed to enjoy his job, from a customer standpoint this was my favorite thing about this call, it was so refreshing. He changed my last name to the correct name and sent out new Vehicle ID cards and I was off the phone within 3 min. I have honestly never experienced customer service this helpful and efficient!!!! I only wish I asked his name because if I knew it I would be calling Geico to talk to a manager to tell them how great this employee is! I am new to Geico, and all I have to say is so far so good!! Thank you so much for making this easy!

Vandalism? Service Guys say”yes.” Insurance?. We’ll see just how “customer-centric” they really are. I’ve had Geico for a long time. Never needed them for anything egregious. Car has been vandalized for about 8 months. Inconvenient seeing cabin strewn with worthless paper and glove compartment contents scattered about the cabin in the morning. Now the engine exploded after being driven from my home for one block. In previous two weeks had little cosmetic things done with the service supervisors saying car is immaculate and car, 2013 CR-V, is in great shape. Of course the “adjuster,” suddenly can’t adjust to the event being continued “over the top” vandalism. Why? Ah-Ha, Cost will be new engine. But with a series of small, acceptable vandalism events, this engine (when torn apart to discern why it finally blew up after being driven one block, Geico adjuster suddenly can’t accept continued vandalism. That would make Geico responsible for the engine replacement. Isn’t that the reason for paying insurance premiums for years? For the “biggie?” Hang on. I’ll let everybody know. Geico may not.

Roadside is a joke. First, not sure where Geico gets their claim of 5/5 stars for roadside service because there is nowhere to leave a review. I got locked out while scraping snow (for the first time in my life). I had gloves and extra layers… also locked inside the car. I was fortunate to have a warm building to go into. If I hadn’t, I would have gotten hypothermia waiting the 60 minutes for the service they were sending. On top of that, thé phone number provided for the service went straight to voicemail so there was no way to communicate. Called Geico and had a long auto system prior to talking to an agent about the communication problem. I got lucky and someone was able to open the car. I canceled the roadside assistance that was still 30min out. Now that roadside service website asked for a survey, that didn’t have questions consistent with my issue (4 short questions) and at the end it says « we’re working on sending help » with no way to say no. If I get charged for this I’m going to be even more upset. Happy I got lucky, not remotely happy with Geico or the service Road Rangers. Why use a service that’s 60min away in cold weather!!?

Careless!!!. be careful because initially they will be soft with their rates and everything. I’m very upset with them because I was a customer with them for more then five years or so and the one month a had problem with my bank credit they report me and left me without insurance and I had no Idea! I was on autopay but someone stole my bank card, so the autopay with them didn’t go through! But the only thing they did was send me an email to notify me who the hecks checks their email constantly and also with all those spam that you get. They didn’t bother to call me to leave me a voicemail or a text or anything! People have a lot going in their life sometimes but by the time I remembered 10 days had passed, But it is incredible that they can’t forgive you and hear your situation FOR THAT ONE MONTH!!! They just went ahead and cancelled me and report! How dare they how is this caring about your customers. I mean not even one month had passed for them to do such things! It was just this One Time…I was on autopay without missing any payment! Went I told the guy who answered He didn’t care he just sounded like a machine telling me what they did and when i told him my situation and told him i want to get back on they double the price almost $300 dollars!!!

Stolen Money. This insurance company automatically withdrew money from my bank account and then tried to withdraw it again from my other bank within 2 days. Then they proceeded to tell me that they never received a payment. They took money from me and then told me I still owe them. Then proceeded to say they don’t know where my money went. They say they had the same issue happened to numerous other customers and they tell you that you must submit your bank statements to get credit for the money they stole from you. Then even after you submit the statements they say it’s not good enough. DO NOT USE THEIR MOBILE APP. You will LOSE MONEY and they will lie to you. Do not go through Geico! They do sketchy stuff and then when you call, they give you the run around and blame you for everything. Literally the worse insurance company. They steal your money and then tell you they don’t have it so they can make more money off of you.

Very clunky. This app may be ok for viewing your policy number and getting contact info for Geico, but filing claims, taking photos for estimates and handling claim process is pretty terrible. There is no way to edit or correct info if it is accidentally entered. It won’t let you change vehicle owner (assumes my husband is owner of all our vehicles). It would not let me delete estimate pictures that were not focused, etc, in order to replace with better photos (the photos are so small they look ok but once you accept them you see that they are blurry or cropped incorrectly, but you can’t remove and replace them). If you add additional photos from your photo library, the app freezes after EACH additional photo you download; so you have to close it and log back in each time (7 times in this case!). The photo feature for estimates is really just terrible. Needs so much work. This goes for the website as well. Claims process is just as bad online, same issues, just as clunky. You have to contact an agent to fix things…and good luck with that (wait on hold for 45 min just yo have the phone system hang up on you without ever talking to anyone). Disappointing.

Great experience. I called in to find a cheaper premium for my car insurance. The quote I originally got online was a very low number (my driving record isn’t the best) so I was very skeptical about the amount they provided. Of course after running my license number the premium went up a lot! It was going to be more than my current payment amount. My agent was very quick to find me a solution and make sure I got what I needed for a good price. She made sure I got all the discounts I was eligible for and I was was soo grateful for the 15% the company is adding to clients payments during this pandemic, in addition to that my payment for the second month was only $39. I am starting school that month and won’t be working so that helped A LOT! Overall she was amazing, friendly, helpful, understanding and really gave me the best experience I’ve ever had with an insurance company. She really cared about giving me everything I was looking for. I am excited to be back with Geico.

Unexplained Jump In Rate. I'm a 52 year old educated woman who has been driving for 35 years WITH ZERO tickets or accidents or claims...homeowner since 29 years old, steadily employed full time, divorced, solely raised and put two daughters through college (Clemson, UMD)... been with GEICO for 15 years! Yet, my auto insurance for a 2015 Camaro LT was $126/mo. but jumped to $199/mo. without explanation! Again... no accidents, tickets, or claims... EVER!! Having raised two girls by myself, I have struggled financially at times, but my driving record has never reflected anything but a safe and defensive driver! Why am I paying such an outrageous amount for auto insurance? Although financial issues have forced me to be reinstated a few times over the years, I have never had an unpaid balance with Geico. I'm currently seeking coverage from another carriers. If my insurance does not decrease, I will be forced to permanently change carriers. My financial situation has recently improved. I refuse to pay unwarranted amounts of money for auto insurance when I have never asked for it in return! Regards.

Not easy to navigate. My policy was about to be canceled because the expiration date on my debit card has changed. When this happened in June I updated the account for all of my bills and online purchases. Including Geico! I had assumed my bill was being paid automatically as it had been in the past and there’s absolutely no reason it should not have been. But I received an email that I was about to be canceled so I logged onto this app.I went to pay my bill and I noticed popped up that I must change the expiration date. Easy enough right? No no no no no no no not easy at all! I repeated this psycho about seven or eight times where it allowed me to change my expiration date and then I went in and clicked pay bill and it said the expiration date has expired change your expiration date and I played goofy again and again and again!!! I went to the settings but I couldn’t find payment methods. I finally found something that gave me the option of a credit card or checking account but not the option to change the expiration date on my debit card. Finally by random and I mean random not intuitive clicking and clicking through and clicking through I came to a page that allowed me to put in a new expiration date. My bill has been paid the entire process took me about 20 minutes. I gave you another couple minutes of my Saturday to write/dictate this message in hopes that you improve your system for other customers. Thank you

Bad. I locked my keys in the car and was waiting outside my gym at night (which needs something on my keychain to enter so I was locked out). I forgot my password and tried to reset it but for that I needed my policy number which I don’t know. Luckily it was saved offline so all I had to do was memorize the 8 or so digit number and put it into a thing to reset the password. So I did that and when I tried to put in my newly reset password it said it couldn’t access my account at that time. Uh okay. While all this was going on I was trying to get roadside assistance on the phone through the number they said to call. 30 minutes of waiting and I was not able to speak to anyone!!! I’m sure the app would be useful if it actually worked for me. Overall terrible experience and I’m upset about their customer support. Luckily I was not kidnapped or something worse while locked out waiting to talk to someone to help me.

APP for Geico Insurance. While i realize APPs are the best thing for taking care of business I find it clumsy and annoying . I liked the previous in paying my bill and going thru the app I had to fumble around to pay my bill . However I have no idea what I paid for why I have two cars I am not driving them they are sitting in the garage I own three motorcycles and I have two up and running and the other one has a flat tire but I was not allowed on your app to see that makes me wonder if I did the right thing here .... makes me want to go to another insurance company and consider looking at what am I really getting here ???? I have been w your company a long time but as technology goes sometimes things just work fine and don’t need some update if your going to do that then tell me before this is a new iitem an app for your phone and get someone on the phone and tell me how to access it ! Instead of me fumbling around and wasting time and distracting me !!!!!

You really know, until you know!. Getting to know you have Great Insurance the Hard way. I switched to GEICO at the end of 2018, coming from USAA after 11 years. Had a flat tire on my motorcycle, just needed a 5 mile tow to work, put a new tire on when I get there, called they said you don’t have towing, what? I’m fully covered, yep...All except towing, we no longer offer in Ca? Then 2 months later, my insurance jumps 300+ for my policy, why, more expensive now. Welcome GEICO, blessing. I had you for 3 months, 10ft from my driveway, 10 mph and 30 ft away from putting down the kickstand, swerved missing a coyote and bam, hit my neighbors suv . You guys effortlessly take care of my neighbors vehicle, process my bike in less than 30 days, I’m very impressed. A year later heading home from work, lady makes an illegal left turn in front of me, launching me 35 ft over her car a landing in the road. Again, there for me again handling it flawlessly. So, you never really know, until you know! I have been sending you all my friends and family any chance I get, why...because I know.

Just insured my boat last year with Geico marine. I was very frustrated and unhappy to hear that a person like me that has not had a ticket in 27 years and follows all the laws would have to hear through a letter that they were raising my boat insurance considerably. I had to get on the phone and work at it to finally talk to somebody to tell me why, And this was what was said due to so many wrecks and idiots in California on the waters we are going to punish everyone including the customers that follow the law. If that isn’t communist and isn’t wrong I don’t know what is. That I should have a raised insurance bill from other peoples wrong doings probably half of more on JetSki’s the other half don’t know how to drive a boat and they probably were all drunk. But is it right to punish a good customer because I have other bad apples I’m really disappointed in Geico I’m sure this review want to be put on the site cause I don’t wanna hear it.

Unexplained charges. I recently moved at the end of May. Being a good customer and US citizen, I shopped around and found a lower rate with some companies but decided that Geico has been relatively good to me and would be a loyal customer. I updated my address and state insurance with an insurance rep, and my six-month rate went up, which was expected and acceptable. The first payment was 61 dollars more than the monthly charge, according to the rep and simple division (6 months total /6 ). When I asked, the gentleman said that it was a system error and it would fall off. Ok Cool. What wasn't acceptable is I logged in tonight to go over my coverage, and the good old Geico app made me aware that my account was pending cancelation due to $61 not being paid. I went ahead and paid for it. The issue is a reoccurring problem; the reps tell you one thing when it's completely different. I have had a representative on multiple occasions tell me one thing, and something turns out completely different. I am in a position where I can pay a little extra here and there to avoid hours spent on the phone, but if you are a person on a strict budget where every penny counts, I would recommend you either go with someone else or you keep a daily watch on your account

Very good. I can only compare it too Progressive n State Farm. I really never had issues with Progressive, they added me with no issues when everybody else did when I 1st started driving. State farm on the other hand, OMG, terrible. Mainly the office location I was with in the Bronx, NY. Plus these guys had me paying way too much for liability. I am paying less than that with Geico and with full coverage. This is why I like Geico, they have their app you can reach them pretty quick too and by phone the wait isn’t that bad. Idk how it would be if they had locations around like StateFarm. Thank god they don’t. Even in my accident, I was in recently they pretty much handled everything in a timely manner. Only issue I had was I wish there was a way to investigate accidents. It’s a shame I was at fault. I mean I know the guy with front end damage gets the blame, but the guy cut me and slammed on his brakes. I will be looking into a dash cam for sure.

Terrible insurance. They are robbing people. The customer service is very nice when you are getting an insurance and they become very mean when you want to change something on your policy. I downloaded this app and was trying to get a quote for my sister. She doesn’t drive my car and I never wanted to add her into my insurance. Well the app added her to my insurance automatically without my permission and now I have to pay for her too. Well I’m not her parent and she doesn’t drive my car. Anyways, I call Geico customer service for help and the girl on the phone literally ignores me. She HANG UP on my face. I was kindly asking why I can’t delete her and she just said “I’m hanging up”. On the geico app there is actually place to delete additional drivers. Every single page works perfectly on the app except that one. Because only that page says “ERROR”! I am a student and now they want me to pay $157 each month for insurance. I don’t even work and my mom ca5 afford it. Well I would like to cancel my insurance but I can’t. Because I paid around $400 for the first payment. TERRIBLE! I hate how they are very nice when you are getting insurance and ignore you the moment you get the insurance. DON’t get insurance from this company. NEVERRRRRRRER

Five stars. If anybody is considering purchasing auto insurance, all I can tell you is one thing stick with the best you can’t go wrong with a insurance company that has been around for more than 75 years I have never had an issue with my insurance company which I am proud to say Geico and I say that with all sincerity Geico is a company and insurance that is there for you when you need them, I will refrain from mentioning other insurance companies but don’t bother with other insurance companies some people say that Geico is one of the most insurance companies on the market but what I say is you always get what you pay for so if you want to go with Mike and Mike insurance company before I want you never know what you’re going to get but with Geico and 75 years of experience you know what you’re going to get excellent service customer service an app that is far beyond anything that is out there. Thank you, Geico.

Supervisor. I could work at Geico and teach a few things about organizational skills for employees at Geico. All employees should have organizational skills. Recommend special monthly or weekly classes for employees not to be in such a hurry answering customers questions as if they knew the answer to get off the phone to handle the next call. I had 6 weeks of training before I even answered the phone not to mention training I got before I decided I wanted to become a customer service rep. I answered phones when reps needed a meeting and put customer on hold until I got the right answer. I was very good at my job and actually wrote a job description for Colonial Penn. Due to my organizational skills I combined 3 jobs into one and increased my salary. Find people who just don’t go to work for the money but care enough about their job to make your company better and better. Sincerely, Cynthia M Elkins

DriveEasy. I have always liked Geico, and I never write reviews, but the DriveEasy program is infuriating and Geico should know that. I am a very safe driver on a budget, and insurance rates are crazy high across the board right now, so I signed up for it assuming I would definitely save a lot. And I am saving a little, which is nice, but there is one major annoyance that has to be a scam on their part to collect more money. There are threads on several message boards about it, so I can’t be the only one who is upset by it. Geico: your safest drivers are getting docked points for having “uncontrolled turning” according to your app, and we are trying to fix the problem by driving so slowly as to be encouraging other drivers to speed around us, because even if you take every single curve and turn in a 30mph zone at 7-10 miles per hour, the app still says you are driving like a psychopath. And you are—but not because you’re cornering too fast and without control, rather because you’re trying to convince a broken bot that you’re not doing that. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. Fix your bot and give us our discount.

Not happy customer. Prices have changed completely! I have a perfect driving record, was given a complete opposite quote if paid year in full, I mean atleast a $500 - $600 difference. I called for a quote on my other vehicle I didn’t add it however the agent added it anyway (by mistake). I didn’t find out that I owed anything more due to not paying in full by the renewal date but only didn’t pay by the renewal date because Geico is trying to figure out what they did wrong. I just so happened to go on the app & all of a sudden noticed bills being due stating if I don’t pay I’ll be canceled. I call I think they’ve got it all figured out & Geico actually owes me. So… 6-7 months down the line I get another cancellation notice saying I need to pay almost $300 or I’m going to be canceled, I call & the lady says she’ll call me back she has to get a supervisor, yet the supervisor doesn’t call me back she does & explains this situation which makes absolutely no sense!! I’m still not satisfied, still don’t feel like I owe all this money esp looking back at my bills, what I should’ve paid, what I did pay… It doesn’t add up! I sure won’t be a loyal customer anymore if they don’t figure this out. Smh Geico!

1st time insured - SO grateful to Geico 🙏🙌. So as a NH resident who never had the opportunity to do Drivers Ed since my parents didn’t have the money - I’m now almost 29, with a crazy amount of demerit points against my driving record; I was feeling SO beyond helpless… So I was getting first time quotes from all the different top, middle of the road, and less known insurance companies… JUST a touch under $1,300 was the lowest premium I could find - Then Geico quoted me at $565 (1st month is including the one time $25 charge for the NH registered SR22, so naturally $540 for the remaining 5 months, at which point it’ll go down further as the later violations “age off” my driving history) which is saving me a MINIMUM of $735, when compared to the next “lowest quote”. This entire process since the DMV ordered it - has been an absolute NIGHTMARE, with a “clerical error” leading to a false suspension and ARREST as a result of; Geico made the worst month of my life just THAT much easier and I’ll never forget the care, compassion and humanity they handled everything with

Beware of quote process for minor. I have run multiple quotes for adding cars and policy coverage changes but it never gets updated on policy until it is confirmed. Good, right? That is not the case with running a quote for new driver. I was trying to check premium for my minor son if he is added as a driver. App took all the info I entered and added him to policy as a driver and effected it. I didn’t even finish the quote process till the end, and didn’t confirm him to be a driver. 2 days later I got an email to pay additional premium!! Please provide a disclaimer that running a quote for a driver could add him/her to the policy even if consent was not given. Provide a cancel button in quote process so that user has ability to exit when they want to. Also don’t add driver out of quote process and explicit confirmation. Instead of just notifying the user about policy doc is updated, state key changes in email notification - new driver added, new premium is so and so - which ensures information is accurately notified to the policyholder.

I don't drive so often.... I barely even drive my car. Maybe once a month. Geico struck gold with me as a customer, I'll never crash. Every day geico sends me an email, "we haven't communicated with your device in a few days" I haven't even gone for a car ride in over a week. Mine or anyone else's... and then when I do go on a car ride with someone else and use my phone in the passenger seat I need to either go airplane mode or go into the app after and tell it that the horrible 'phone usage' exceptional trip was me not actually driving and using my phone but me as a passenger, which it lets you do just fine after it confronts you about it lol. The app works, but it also needs to leave me alone. Every time I check my email the newest one is from geico crying that my app is not working. (It's clearly working all the time! Sending location data!) I'm clearly just not needing to drive so much right now, maybe less so than what's on my policy. Please go away... please?

GEICO is horrible. GEICO is horrible. I have had a glass damage claim (for the windshield of my car) open for weeks, and I have not been able to make any progress beyond the initial declaration of the damage, given the many roadblocks GEICO laid on my way. It is the phone number from the mobile app that tells me to send a written message, and then the reply to the written message that tells me to call the same phone number. The “dog trying to eat its own tail” madness. In the meantime, my safety is being endangered while I am forced, by this bad quality, to drive a car with a damaged windshield. Also, at the same time and while all of this is going on, my dealership, the glass repair shop and GEICO are all playing to pass the ball to each other about who should take the next step. They all seem to think I am responsible for it. For sure, I am responsible for it, that is out of the question, but how can I really be responsible and be able to take care of it, if every time I try to make this claim move forward, one of the three stakeholders refers me to the two others? Absolute madness again. They are a bunch of irresponsible men and women brats catching me in the middle. Help! And fast!

Don’t recommend for motorcycles. Geico is the cheapest insurance and likely the only insurance a new rider can afford. However, if luck is not on your side and you fail to keep both wheels on the pavement you’ll be left with dealing with an insurance company that wants to short change you in every way they can. They don’t prepare you to speak with other companies. I had someone pull out in front of me, it was their fault. However, I took a loss on the repairs and the motorcycle was in a shop for 5 months waiting for Geico to get their paperwork together for the money. Original quote from Geico was $1,500 for damages. The bike was totaled and ended up being $7,500 for repairs, Geico wouldn’t pay for custom paint, chrome or any add on’s. Even though I valued the motorcycle at $15,000. Aside from being a poor insurance company, removing the policies takes a long time, you’ll be on the phone for 30+ minutes to speak to a representative. Think if you were in an accident, if you needed to speak to a rep to get a tow, waiting all that time.

Many tech issues lately poor support. I’m unable to use the claim feature on mobile app, it did not want to update my payment method for auto pay. I have had Geico for 7 years and these past 3 months made me go to Farmers Insurance just because I get a live agent I can go in and see face to face not have to deal with all the call centers and claims taken forever! I’m still waiting on geico to take responsibility for damage done to my vehicle by a tow truck provider they sent out to tow my vehicle they towed a AWD vehicle without a flat bed and started my engine when the oil pump quit and the car shut off to prevent engine damage the tow truck driver who was inexperienced started the car after being warned the oil pressure light came on and it would not start, he got it to start but it sounded horrible Quality Towing of Myrtle Beach then towed my AWD with the two rear tires on the ground by the time it got to the shop I had a seized engine, damaged transmission and driveshaft no one has taken any responsibility to date!

Road Assistance. Last night, I was in a very hard situation. One tire got flat in the middle of an interstate, very heavy traffic, sunset about to be gone, I was by myself, and over 50 miles away from home! I pray for an angel! I called Geico road assistance, I can’t remember her name, but this lady went above and beyond to help me out. While we were connected, she was searching for help and so I was! Nothing was opened, Sunday late afternoon, almost night. Finally and after several minutes, I told her: “thank you, let me see if I can figure it out myself”. She said: “let me put you in a brief hold” and went she came back, she help me find a towing truck and one time exception for me, due to the situation I was in. My prayer was answered! At that time, she was the help I needed and God sent her to help! Thank you for being a dedicated employee and help your customer going an extra mile for them!

Awesome Company.. I have been a customer of Geico’s since Mr Gecko was the CEO. The rates are always fair and customer service is outstanding. Both of my children we’re insured through Geico when they got their junior licenses. Due to my daughter’s outstanding driving skills Geico replaced one ambulance one car and one SUV all within her first year of driving. Geico worked with my daughter and i and kept her on as a driver. She was under high risk but the rates only went up a small amount and the Geico reps always treated us with respect during all the trials and tribulations. My daughter is married and has a family and will only use Geico insurance because how they treated her and worked with her during her time if need. Geico also works with me if i need to change my due dates and the Geico app is pretty handy also.

Life Long Customer. I Have never been more satisfied with customer service with any other company in my entire life. I am blown away at how. When I was in a car accident and it wasn’t my fault , even though I didn’t file a claim with geico , they still paid my rental fee for a car so I didn’t lose money going to the principal to pay my car off from the other persons insurance company. I felt like I was talking to a friend when dealing with my accidents. They continued to show there generosity by refunding me the payment I made for that months insurance after my car was totaled they even gave me a discount on my insurance because of COVID . I didn’t have to argue or try to bargain with the about anything they just said yes. I will never go anywhere else. THANK YOU GEICO

Statement about GEICO’s service and my need to change payment date. First, thank you for your change of date opportunity. Secondly, Overall, GEICO has been very helpful to me. However, I experienced a theft of my car and received poor service from one of GEICO’s claims adjuster. Also, I did not receive the total amount due to me for a rental car. I had to rent for two months, while seeking assistance in repairing the minor damage to my car (per the police report and visible observation). I need to change my payment to ensure that I will have funds in my account. I’m still struggling with my car. The thieves affected my car’s fueling sending system, fuel pump, water control valve, thermostat, and other things. I was told that they were planning to take my Corvette 5.7 engine. My trust level has been altered by mechanics and the GEICO claims adjuster. Thanks for permitting me provide comments.

Service. Horrible service. Needed a quote for a driver and System automatically added them to the policy! Unfortunately, You don’t know they are added until days later after the underwriting process is completed. Removing said driver is a complete nightmare, especially if they are not in the same home ! Geico will not remove them unless you exclude the driver from policy by signing a NDE for all vehicles on the policy! Which should not be the case on a QUOTE! They make u exclude the driver and leave them on the policy until all parties sign NDE! All parties didn’t have to sign when adding them on! So now my premium is double the cost on a single car policy due to an added driver I didn’t even add! And of course… my policy is up for cancellation unless I pay the doubled amount! This is a disgusting practice and I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. This is how they treat you! Steal from you and take away your options. Needless to say.. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere!!

Messenger customer service app employees. I broke my leg this yeah and have been behind on everything no matter how much I work to fix it and most places will not even work with me due to this I have received no assistance form any one but I was out of work for 3 months... the app allowed me to talk to a representative of the company who was extremely kind helpful and was able to give me time to make the payment without it canceling I am really grateful for her wonderful customer service skill it is much much need in our world today she deserves a raise. It is almost impossible to find good customer service and a individual that actually cares about there job. Please review our messages and agreement and reward her for her efforts. The other insurance company’s do not have individuals like this woman I spoke with. Thank you dear for caring about others...💙

The Wonderful World of Geico. I was a past customer of Geico; I screwed up my relationship with these wonderful folks by paying a few months tardy. I subsequently lost my car through similar idiocy. Later, when an Indian Summer came to my private Hell, I called my old friends at Geico. I was concerned our relationship had reached divorce status; to my delight, the folks at Geico (Macon Georgia office) quickly put me in good standing with law enforcement and my condo association. All four agents-two lovely women (who seemed interested in matrimony) plus two southern gentleman (who did not share the same sentiments)-were great representatives of a wonderful company and all I believe will soon be working in management. I pray they get sizable boosts in income, provided my rates are not effected. If you need insurance, you want Geico! Thank you, Randal Greenhill

Suggestion. This is overall a great app. For the most part you can breeze through anything you need. I’ve been a customer for 4 years now. I recently had a accident (no my fault) lol so I needed to do something I’ve never had to do which is upload documents. It is not the best process! When ever you hit back just to go back to previous screen it starts you all over. That is the most frustrating thing. Example. If you upload a few pics/docs and one isn’t showing you hit preview to see it. When you hit back you literally have to re-upload everything all over again 🙄. Also when you upload several docs/pics I think it would be easier to let you flip through to make sure everything uploaded. instead when you hit back to go look at the rest. You must, AGAIN start the whole process over. GEICO please fix this. Then I’ll give 5 Stars!!!!

Given wrong information. Disgusting experience. Customer service informed me that Mohan singh who is the secondary holder can do the safety defense course of an additional discount. He wasted two days of his time to do the course cause he was given the wrong information I have been on the ohone with customer service Jessica, Dian and the supervisor Pearson who told me there’s nothing anyone can do. Yesterday Jessica was suppose to give me back a call and stated one of her supervisor will review the call to see who give me that information till now no one call me back. I have been calling and calling since over a week now and still can’t get anything done about this issue and still have to pay the full balance when I was given the wrong information and no compensation. With this experience I have I would never ever recommend anyone to Geico. NEVER

Always rising. I can't say that I've been happy with Geico in the last couple of years because there's always a reason there's a price increase. Several years back I had a policy that I was fairly happy with but I have had no accidents I'm 66 years old and I don't drive but maybe 5 miles a month. I had a personal fall and I just don't drive much anymore everything I do is deliver it to me. But Geico keeps going up and up and up and up and now I am tired of it and I'm going to search for another policy $97 a month for and I old lady that doesn't drive is just too ! If you're looking for auto insurance you might consider shopping around too. I once called for roadside assistance and they never showed up and this was just a few months ago when I had a completely dead battery and I needed someone to come and help -they said that they would be there and they never showed up so I was stranded! In fact I don't think I can say anything good about Geico at this point so check around before you go to Geico.

Michelle Napers. Rear tire came off the rim and went rolling down the road, passing me as I tried to get to the shoulder. I was shaken. Called Roadside assistance & spoke to a wonderful gentleman named Chris. He was concerned about my safety & then proceeded to get the ball rolling in getting a flatbed to tow my car. While he was talking to multiple towing companies, he kept coming back on the line & checking on me. I told him that I’d called a friend to come get me & he offered to stay on the phone with me until they got there. At that point I was much calmer & felt that Chris had done everything necessary to take care of the situation. A short time later my friend arrived & then the flatbed. The driver was right on time & very polite. This the first time I’ve ever had to use roadside assistance and it was excellent! Thank you so much!!!

Terrible service, especially follow-up ability.. I’ve been dealing with an issue with my account since early October. Geico double billed me. I was advised to stop auto-payments and assured the issue would be resolved quickly. It was not - I have not received any follow up despite calling twice a month since early Oct. Each time it’s the same story - they’re sorry for the issue, they’ll check on my ticket with their IT dept, they promise someone will call me or email me with an update within 24hrs, then nothing. I don’t hear from them again till I call and have to explain the entire situation again. My latest encounter involved an agent assuring me their supervisor would get in touch the following work day. I expressed my doubt they would make any such effort. I was correct. What should have been an easy fix has turned into a huge annoyance as I’m military and PCS out of country soon. I’m writing this in hope someone might actually contact me and fix the issue.

Worst one. Geico is the worst insurance company for the low income people. They are fraud and cheat you and make you compel to pay money. They increased my rate without informing me and when I contacted they never resolved it. I’m in such condition that I’m fighting for food to feed my child. Even $1 matters in my life and they increased price $31 more without any reason. I didn’t have ticket and any violation and I drive only 7 miles a day and rarely I drive on the weekends. I doubt they read the informations and impose fee if the person is weak and can do nothing. There is no value of my opinion in this most commercialized world. I’m helpless and obliged to pay money. I’m paying the price of being low earner in a rich country. They are taking unnecessary money from a person who ride 20 years old car and walk to the store to save money on gas, who drives only when he needs to get his child back from school. It’s frustrating. I wonder if there is any insurance that cares about people with human friendly business.

RV Insurance Claim.. I have a 2008 Avalon pop-up camper. I was camping at a campground beside the lake. In August, 2022, there was a bad storm with high winds. I was so scared the top of the camper was going to blow off. The top whipped back and forth from the front and back. It was horrible. I contacted Geico regarding my claim. I was told to get an estimate. I finally found a mobile company to inspect my camper. The guy came on Friday afternoon and said he would come back the next week. He did not come back. I called John’s RV in Columbia and made an appointment to get an estimate. The day that I was to get the estimate, I was told that they did not handle pop up campers. I finally found Brown’s RV in Hartsville to give me an estimate. The claim is over half of the insurance value. My claims adjuster told me that someone from Geico would have to look at the camper. No one has called to make an appointment to inspect the damage. The arms that raise the top up and down twisted and the top will not shut all the way down. The top is no longer square. I still do not have my claim settled. I will not recommend Geico for RV insurance to anyone.

Geico. The best car insurance ever my family the Jeffers, Danao, and Rondon family have all been using Geico insurance for over 35 years or more we never chose another car insurance over Geico and we will continue to use Geico Insurance forever! Even if other car or home insurance go lower then Geico companies and people ask why because Geico has always covered their people on any accidents they always keep their clients safe and protected from any harm or bodily injuries this company treats you well as long as you treat them well and talk with proper attitude and common since this Geico company is the best never had a problem with Geico and I am now 41. I have had Geico car insurance since I started driving when I was 18 years old and they have always kept me safe on the roads thank you Geico Company for all you have done for me and my many families!

Easy to navigate and easy commands. The bill is all shown in the app and and the fact that you can change and edit payment method information right then and there is so convenient. I use the app to find out if there is any amount due and auto accident claim info. I added resident insurance because there price is most competitive in this market and there customer service is top notch. I love using the app to own an ID card, follow up on my auto accident claim, request a towing service, and more. I will be with GEICO until I see other competitor who can provide similar options and has a better price. But I doubt that will happen. Go with a well known company. You won’t say, “ I was ripped off and customer service is horrible!”

Awesome APP!!!. This app is so awesome, I have no technological skills at all. In fact my nephew normally helps me with anything computer, or “computer” like. But today I was able to download this app and with all the helpful hints I did it all on my own!!!! Seriously so easy, you guys have went above and beyond. I am truly amazed at how easy it was and anytime I had a question that thing popped up and it was answered right away, I love that by each choice or page there is an informational, help hint little buttons. I’m not sure what you call them. But I really wanted to let people know how wonderful this app is, I didn’t stress once you have made getting car insurance easier to get and understand. Thank you and to all who think you can’t do it trust me with the Geico Mobile APP you most certainly will be able to!

Geico Coverage. I have maintained insurance (full coverage) on my vehicles for many years. Recently my vehicle was vandalized. Passenger side window busted out, windshield punched or hit, passenger side rear kicked or backed into. This happened in a public place and several other vehicles were vandalized, as well. Police came out and made a report. All steps were properly followed. Geico did NOTHING for me. I had to pay for a new passenger window 251$. New windshield 223$. Repair the dent 312$ and amongst all the struggle, a foot of snow came. I had to have a rental car while my vehicle was being fixed. Geico refused to extend my rental for the duration. I had rented a Kia Soul. I reached out and informed them the car was stuck and I was unable to move it. I could not even get my own vehicle. I had to pay out of pocket for the rental for each additional day. With having comprehensive, collision, etc. nobody should ever have to pay over a thousand dollars. What’s the point of paying for full coverage if it isn’t provided? The adjuster treated me very poorly. The entire situation was traumatic. I will be finding insurance elsewhere. I would advise any policy holder to do the same.

Best of the Best. GEICO has provided me and my family the best savings thus far….There are many different ways to get discounts. All you need to do is ask how you can save money and an agent will explain the best options that you qualify for. GEICO also has one if not the best App you can use. To help you with your policy. Whether you need a quote, or road service. All you need to do is use the App versus calling for an Agent. It’s fast and it’s user friendly. All at your fingertips…it’s that easy. If you don’t find what your looking for. A phone call is just as easy. A professional and friendly GEICO representative will assist you and answer your questions. I’ve had GEICO now for approximately 5 years maybe longer. I’ve had nothing but positive experience with GEICO. To end this, I have two final words….”USE GEICO “…”Merry Christmas” and a “Happy New Year” everyone!!

Company is great the drive app is stupid. There the best insurance company in Florida, however there new drive easy isn’t easy they need to use the cameras on the car when someone waits until you get 10 feet away and then pulls out from a side street, and you've let off the gas at the speed limit of 45 because there just setting there you get a hard breaking, or the quick changing traffic lights. And then there’s the smooth driving you’ll get run over taking off from a red light, also the cornering is a joke even at the engineering requested speed you get flagged for racing. Called and complained they said don’t follow so close and slow down guess they should supply one of those slow moving farm equipment triangles. 🤦

Faulty tracking app misclassifies phone use unfairly. The insurance discount tracking your driving habit is unfairly deducting points from you when it classifies phone use when the vehicle is stationary. Why do they classify perfectly legitimate phone use in a stationary car as dangerous driving? It tracks and claims your phone-use in a drive-thru paying for your food as dangerous driving while you wait in line in the drive-thru just because engine is not turned off and inching slowly in-line waiting for your food. It claims your phone-use when you pump gas in a gas station as dangerous driving because you use your phone to pay for the gas. It tracks and claims that it’s dangerous phone-use when you pulled off the road, stopped your car so you use the phone safely to find map directions or call someone, which is perfectly legal in any state law that prohibits phone-use, all laws do allow drivers to use their phone when the car is stationary. Then why does the app misclassified them as dangerous driving and deducts points from your driving habit? The app should allow for phone motions or phone use when the vehicle is stationary or inching slowly in-line in a drive-thru. It is unfair to misclassify these perfectly legal and safe phone use as dangerous driving habits. Be fair and fix the tracking criteria as dangerous driving when the vehicle is STATIONARY. The app is too intrusive when it tracks your phone use so unfairly.

App and customer support outstanding. The app is great and super easy to use have not had any problems once so ever and when I did have a problem the GEICO team members were absolutely great and very very helpful. Just wanted to tell about my experience over the phone one time, they were very nice and very helpful and worked with me on what I needed. I called about postponing my payment because I wouldn’t have enough money until my next paycheck and they came up with a way to help me out even when it seemed hopeless they made sure I didn’t lose my insurance for being too far past due. There’s a bunch more but I just wanted to say GEICO has given me a great experience and I recommend GEICO for anybody else. Top notch service and very friendly and helpful skilled staff. Amazing work guys, really. Keep up the great work best experience I’ve had with customer service and wonderful app!

Review. I have been with Geico for many years. While for the most part they have been good I must say that in the past 3+ years they have not been the same! I don’t know if they have just been hiring the “new entitled generation” with no work ethics or what has changed. I will say that the accident that I had in a parking lot at a 7-11 was or should have been each of us taking care of our own vehicles and based on the conditions and what was said at the time clearly pointed that out. But rather than Geico actually investigating it, they accepted the other persons complete change of story and never looked into it. This never would have happened 3-4 years ago. So I am paying higher rates and no longer have faith in Geico. This could be the case with all insurance companies now. But it is sad that this is now what we are expected to live with!

Never thought id love an insurance app so much!!!. This app is truly amazing in every way... it’s extremely user friendly and fluid, no lag. When you open it you’re immediately given the option to access your cards... so essentially the creators of the app have thought about the way in which the consumer would most easily locate what they need... GENIUS!!! As if actually being user friendly wasn’t enough, there are actually useful features as well. There is a maintenance log for you to keep track of everything from oil changes to extensive repair work... AND it pulls the information from your Carfax so that you have a log right there of all logged maintenance on the history of the car. I cant wait to see the features I haven't even discovered yet. Thanks geico!!!

They harass away any claim. Geico has started a new policy of attempting to harass away any claim so they can avoid paying per the obligation of the insurance agreement. Imagine the fit they would have if customers could demand inspections first only to be guaranteed results of overcharging customers. So much for the windshield policy just for AZ that Geico started to make AZ replacements of rock shattered windshields easier. They have also started to seriously jack up my rates $100 every six months despite me still having no tickets nor wrecks on my record. I shopped around and found major big name competitors quoting nearly half of the price gouging insult from Geico. I emailed Geico and asked for them match these prices for a 7 year customer and was only told all other companies are scams and leave if I don’t like it. I’m taking your advice and clues from how you mistreat and gouge customers and taking my business elsewhere. You can also count on me using every available opportunity to educate your potential victims and show them to your competitors. Geico has become a garbage insurance company that is not to be trusted.

So happy I switched to Geico. I switched a couple of years out of work due to an auto immune disease .. and literally going thru 3 vehicles...every experience was pleasant, quick and the overall prices(as an ex broker) are great. But the customer service if I had a question i could not figure out in app.. i. my experiences( going through a rough patch was always unbelievably helpful)There were times I probably didn’t make sense ..I was so sick and living in hyper vigilance..and with this app I easily put two of my cars on road super easy.( what I’ve come to understand is the rmv can cause the insurance agencies to get more complaints that aren’t necessary) I tell all how much this app and always easily having a kind customer service rep to contact has truly been unlike the other companies I worked for!

Customer service in Spanish, worst ever!. I was on the phone with “Javier” who literally scream to me repeatedly, mansplaining every detail that I give him, about the payment problem that I have with the app, refusing to help me to figure it out about what happened. I usually pay in full one payment, but the app ask me for a second payment in order to pay in full, and when I call to the customer service in Spanish, the only reason that this guy Javier give me by the phone was that the taxes and the inflation are skyrocketing in the state of Illinois. Anyway I did a second payment because obviously this guy in the phone barely knows his job. The worst part is that he mansplaining the whole time speaking to me like a 5 year old kid instead of being help full and give me a technical reason why the app asked me for a second payment the same day a couple minutes later, and if that was going to hurt my payment in someway. I don’t ask for a best friend at the customer service but at least someone capable and not rudecould be enough.

Of all the apps. Finally an app with a user friendly interface. Really, I’d least expect an insurance company to have the best app experience I have ever had. I don’t write reviews normally, but this feels justified. From the log-in experience to getting/reviewing info., to just getting my ID cards, I can maneuver quickly, everything is organized - and it’s professional in appearance, formatted to my iPhone. You’re app development team, or if outsourced -whomever they are, they did a phenomenal job. You need to diversify your income into app development for orherS!! I just reset my password and log-in info in <2 min. Now I’m in front of my computer and have my phone in hand, which makes things easier, but still the GUI and organization, from tabs to ID cart landscape view - 100% satisfaction & by far the best app I have used

Longevity. Been with GEICO thru thick thin etc I wanted to update the status of my trust with this company I know you have to comply with certain policies and agreements but the last time I got a ticket and charge I told you I was set up and you didn’t believe me I felt . Well those tickets were dropped and the officer who falsely charged me in that situation is no longer with the Lcpd thankfully I know you have limitations especially because they were or the vehicle was insured with GEICO as well . I just like at my age to make clear my standing as an American . I want to also state that I am not a perfect person because of human side . I don’t understand after all these years why you would increase my rates because of others it just doesn’t make sense

My payments. I absolutely love the Geico app it makes everything so much easier and it’s just there at a button anything you need from them it’s excellent thank you for making things a lot easier for me and everyone that has Geico 👍😁😁 Now On a different note I do not understand why my payments are so high I always thought you guys were the best all the way around but when I pay for extra things with you and I called and it took me about 6 times to keep calling until I could get someone on the phone just to tell me that they could not come help me when my sister locked my keys in the car on accident while we were swimming at a place I wasn’t even sure where we were so I was told no they won’t be coming because I don’t have that type of help even though o pay for it so I’m really mad about that and would love to change a lot of things now about my insurance

Honest Feedback. The app, when it works, works great. Filing claims, paying bills, layout, the fundamentals are good. My biggest headaches are the fact that you have to either disable the app EVERY TIME you’re a passenger if you have Drive Easy for the discounts, or you risk taking major hits to the points system that reduce the overall discount if you’re in the car with a less than careful driver. My second gripe is when I drive myself around. My phone is in a bag that I keep in the back seat of my car when I go anywhere, however, because this app relies on the gyro within the health and fitness programming, if the bag shifts or falls from the seat to the floor it classifies that as “hard braking”. It’s stupid and a scam to have this set up. To only offer cell phone connectivity for Drive Easy is ridiculous in and of itself. I have a 2019 Outlander and the plug in device “doesn’t work” in my vehicle. Either fix this ridiculous app or add compatibility to your OBD-II devices to support a common and near new vehicle.

Worth it…..?. They’re huge right? Government owned or something and the auto insurance ain’t exactly the best deal but they must take care of u right for your extra green….? I hope u don’t have to find out like I did. I was on a road trip from Tulsa to California. Started late and stopped to spend the night w/ a friend In OKC. A knock on the door, a cop tells me my parked car was hit by a “sober driver”. I had just signed up with GEICO so when they treated me as if I was committing a crime when I called about my claim I understood. U think once the week was up and they received the police report they would see I was not lying and be nice at least. Nope. Unhelpful, doing the absolute bare minimum, slow responses, and not interested in even having empathy for me being on a trip and having to be in OKC for a month with nowhere to stay. U might as well go with the cheapest liability u can find. I had full coverage but u would never know by the way GEICO treats u. Just not worth it. Sorry for the novel but I actually cut it short.

My Rock. I am a single, disabled woman who lives alone in a 5th wheel. One morning I came out to find my truck and only source of transportation for my 5th wheel and me had been stolen. My 2nd phone call was to my agent Jeffrey. He assured me I was covered and arranged for a rental while awaiting word from the police. Two weeks to the day I spoke with Jeffrey in the morning about starting the shopping process. That very afternoon I received word from the police they had found my truck. It was in rough shape, ie...needles, garbage, etc. Jeffrey arranged for it to be towed to a detailer, put gas in it and had it cleared by MY mechanic all while paying for the rental while I waited. I had a 100$ deductible and that was recovered through the D.A.. Geiko is and has continued to be my rock. What a true blessing it is to know I have someone watching my back.

Bad business. I’ve had GEICO for a couple years now. All was well til this year. Out of nowhere they doubled my rate. I called to find out why and they told me “inflation”. So I tried finding another company but that’s a nightmare in itself. I called GEICO back to dig deeper and they said my credit, driving record and pay history good. No one can figure out why rates have doubled. Finally I get a guy named Zack who suggested maybe it’s my 16 year old son the reason for price gouge. My son has been on my policy for almost a year and there was only a small increase after I added him. Understandable, teenage boy. Though he’s a great student, already in college full time and never had crash or ticket, he hardly ever drives. GEICO IS RAPING ME FINANCIALLY. They REFUSE to remove son from policy. I can’t pay the next premium. Literally can’t. Even if they break it up in monthly payments. $5160 per year. I’m not allowed per NV law to cancel either. I don’t know what to do and GEICO refuses to work with me. Currently trying to find another insurance company but it’s not going well. Getting run around.

Bad Insurance Company. All insurance companies are technically a scam but by far geico is the worse of them all. My car got flooded in Texas and they were unable to help me at all. They sent an inspector (Justin Woodland) to “inspect” my car and took only 5 photos(mainly of the exterior) and only stayed for 15 minutes. He also scared me off into getting my car fixed and detailed by saying I have a really high deductible which is unusual because I remembered it being $1k only but apparently I had 2500 in deductible. I finally got my car fixed and turns out my car incurred more damage and I called geico to get reimbursed for the amount I paid out of pocket only to be told that the repairs does not match up to water damage. I talked to the supervisor (Kory Baker) about how his associate handled the situation and only to be told that Justin handled the situation well and that he’s very good at what he does. Scamming people I would not recommend being insured by them. I paid about $150 per month with only limited accessible services. No rental, no roadside, and no coverage for natural disaster apparently! Beware!

Why bother having insurance. Getting these people to repair a vehicle just doesn’t seem to be happening every claim I make with them they refuse to fix the damage in completion or at all not just that my account is supposed to be on auto pay but for some reason I am receiving cancellations on my policy regularly I never signed up for paperless billing to begin with they did that for me and then canceled my policy not sending me a bill when I reinstated my policy they raised to the rates the first accident I had with the vehicle and they said that there was visible rust so the damage had to be old and refused to repair that had a hit and run occur to the vehicle this last winter it is the end of May I still have not got my truck repaired when I went to caliber collision the repair shop said that not all of that damage was on their work order nobody looked at my truck how do you know what kind of damages on the truck I have pictures from the night of the accident of my truck and the vehicle that hit me before they took off damage is evident from pictures I want my truck repaired

Overpaying, bad for “new drivers”. I was initially paying $230 monthly as new driver. I had to cut a lot of extras to my policy and still I was left paying $183 monthly. 6 months were up, I had to renew my insurance policy. Ran another quote and for my surprise, that one was even higher at about $345 monthly than the one I originally signed up for. That’s with discounts added(college student, drive safe program, etc.) bear in mind I had never had a ticket or pulled over nor have I had any accidents. The drive safe program promises to lower your monthly bill. I don’t know how true that is but I never ever saw a pennie discounted from my monthly bills. I ended up canceling my policy, because I could no longer afford to pay nearly $200 monthly for a car insurance. I am now with State Farm and I am paying less than half of what I was paying with GEICO for the same coverage($86) on top of that I was still going to get charged $183 until March when my policy was going to expire. When all I owe for it was $56. I feel scammed and ripped off.

11 years of awesomeness. This review is for more than just this app, but for Geico's commitment of making my insurance experience one of the best for so long. I've been with Geico for quite some time and I haven't had any negative encounters since I started as a new customer. A lot of my family and friends ask me why wouldn't I choose USAA since I am in the military, I told them well, Geico has never given me a reason to. Whenever I needed help (roadside assistance, claims, quotes..), every Geico rep was very professional, courteous, and showed great customer service. This app only contributes to that great Geico experience. Real easy to use and super convenient. I never had to call a rep to explain charges or had any technical difficulties paying my bill through the app. Keep up the great work Geico, your dedication to your customers are what keeps us Geiconians (I just made that word up lol) for life.

Somewhat slow, add ID cards to Apple Wallet. Geico’s insurance app as a whole is great and definitely covers all my needs as a customer. I would like to see the app and website be more straightforward when it comes to accessing different parts of your accounts, such as policy and billing. Unfortunately I don’t know that I can explain it great but I find myself clicking around too much to get to the information I need... maybe there are too many sub menus or things are separated out a little too much. Additionally, I feel that the app is slow to load my account information, etc, especially since I am using an iPhone X on AT&T. One huge point of convenience and an easy win in customer satisfaction would be to allow the ability to add insurance ID cards to Apple Wallet. I know State Farm has this feature and I personally find it great for ease of reference.

Auto glass replacement. I recently filed an auto glass claim due to a large rock chip in my windshield. I know everyone is still backed up due to hurt Ian here on the Gulf Coast of Florida so waiting a few weeks wasn’t an issue. I love the fact that Safelite sent a technician to my place of employment for a convenient and worry free installation. With this being said, anyone that drives a Jeep Wrangler by choice usually considers it something special and an extension of a personal expression. I walked out after the technician completed the installation and instantly reared up in disbelief! They installed an AFTERMARKET windshield on my girl BABS (my Jeep)!! The OEM windshield has little Jeep etched into the windshield showing a path around the entire edge of the glass! If you ask a Jeep owner 9 times out of ten it even has a name, my Jeep is BABS. I pay good money for my policy and still upset over this! I will definitely insist on OEM quality parts for my vehicle from this point forward!

DriveEasy constantly disconnecting, notifying. This is not a review of Geico as a service provider, this is a review of the app. The DriveEasy functionality requires sharing location set to “Always,” which is a necessary evil to gain the benefits. However, the app loses connection at least once a day, whether driving or not, and sends an “urgent” notification saying “immediate action required!” to open the app to the foreground. The result is notification fatigue and loss of confidence that the app has had proper testing to verify it will work correctly in the background. This just shows me the app devs need to rework this to figure out how to make this functionality work as intended. Another consequence is Apple will send a periodic notification of how often the app is tracking me and recommending that I change location setting to “while using the app,” which contributes to the alarming number of “urgent” notifications this feature is creating. This review will be updated if the app is fixed and they figure out how to get rid of the notification fatigue.

App & Company Review. App - Easy and simple to use PERFECT! The ease of being able to add/remove vehicles or change coverage on an app is phenomenal let alone and is seamless and almost instant love it. They are extremely quick with sending important documents when needed and all accessible from app. Another feature I absolutely love is the free car fax app I just bought another car and was about to pay for the $40 retail for 1 car fax (prior to purchase) and when I bought the car and put on my insurance it provided all that for free, service records data, car info, and a big key one is a list (seamless and easy to use integration) to see what service is up next based on maintenance manual and includes both normal and severe options in an easier to read format then online or the booklet. Geico- Probably the best rates compared to several other companies I have personally seen, they include financial responsibility, good driver and etc as discounts. I had a prior car that got hit by hail and was totaled but the company and their adjusters were friendly and easy to work with and very significantly helped me at the time and had no qualms or issues getting a claim resolved (several years ago) left a great imprint on my respect for this company.

Service plus easy app is why I stay. I never write a review but because Geico makes life so much easier I felt it was my responsibility to share. My last month’s payment declined because my salary was cut from Covid-19 austerity measures. When I got paid finally I just went into the app, clicked 1 button and brought my account back to current. Didn’t even have to remember my password because I had the face recognition set up. In addition to the ridiculously easy claims processing tool and the wonderful customer service. I am happy to be a Geico customer over other cut-rate companies. The savings the others provide are negated by the hassle it is to use their service. The companies that are more expensive but claim better services don’t hold a candle to my experience with Geico.

Loyal customer for years, now thinking on changing to farmers. I’ve been with Gieco for numerous years and always paid my bill now I’m getting cancelation notices every time I miss the payment date. Which in their right is justifiable but the actual due date of my bill isn’t till later in the month. For the past 6 months it’s been like that. I haven’t got a phone to ask why or if I can change the pay date or if they can just a cancelation notice. Not a overdue notice, but a cancellation notice. I guess they don’t want a army combat veterans business anymore. Progressive or Farmers insurance seems like they would be more of a people related business that understand pay checks don’t fall on a due date sometimes and just automatically put your policy on cancellation status.

First Time User Now Sold on Your App. I hesitated to use the Geico app as I’ve found using these types of apps problematic. However I was “forced”to use it as I needed to upload a picture of a collision that I was involved in some time ago and my husband needed to update the payment information. As he’s unable to use the iPad, the task fell upon me. I must say that it was fairly simple & straight forward. I was to upload the pictures for the claim successfully. Kudos to you as I was able to upload FOUR pictures and it’s great being able to upload more than one picture at a time. The only area in which I encountered problems was in trying to find the screen to update the payment information. Once the Virtual Assistant (VA) came up it was smooth sailing. The only improvement I’d suggest is to make the VA appear as an option right after signing on.

Jennifer was so helpful. I called my insurance company (Geico) after someone hit my car in a parking lot at a church carnival and knocked my front bumper 3/4 of the way off my 2008 Jeep Commander. Jennifer was the representative that took my call and walked me through the process of filing a claim through the offender’s insurance company (progressive). After our conversation she even contacted progressive to start my claim through them. Finally, she called me back about an hour later and told me my claim number w/ progressive as well as the main phone number for their claims department. She told me that an adjuster would be assigned the next morning and that I would be contacted by my assigned adjuster by the end of the next day. Every single thing she told me happened just as she said it would. Plus she was incredibly helpful, patient, and pleasant to deal with. Thank you Jennifer! Leslie TAMPA, FL

Geico App. This app would be great but it is not user friendly when needing to speak with someone or explaining why you billing changes monthly. I am baffled as to why I was quoted one price and now paying close to double, we had issues downloading the app to track my husbands driving and when I was able to download it told me it didn't recognize the number. This was after speaking with a service rep on the phone for hours to get this cleared up. Now you are charging be $2000 every six months for insurance where I have issues speaking with someone. WOW is all I can say after being in the insurance industry myself for well over 20 years. I don't get a warm and fuzzy from your company at all. $4000 a year with a clean driving record really! Now I realize why I never would recommend you guys. I will call tomorrow once you are open and discuss my issues. Don't think you want my business or want to just rip people off. Not sure which one it is.
