High Score Problem. I have the same problem as "Donald Patterson:" I also had a "least expensive bridge," but now I can't clear the "Congrats" message. :( Also, part of it isn't very realistic because when the words come on, there is way too much stress on the left side of the bridge. And why weights? What happened to the monkeys?

Love this game! But........ I used to play this game all the time I absolutely love it! But now it’s not compatible with the new iOS and I can’t redownload it. Hoping this review will convince the developer to make it compatible again! Thank you!

Good...... for the first ten minutes. Fun game until you realize that all you actually have to do is make triangles. Not worth a dollar at all. It was a waste I wish I would have use the money to buy a game that had more than one level. Also it keeps telling me to stop playing and is pretty much a big advertisement for Dummy Defense. (I wish I would have got that instead it looks better!) If you want more than 10 minutes of entertainment then get another app... This gets old real fast

Great!!!. I'v been playing this game for months now and love it...I wish it had the option to edit the gap distance though. Also, I also would like to see a feature where you could make your own word test with custom weights. I also have figured out the 132 bridge. All I will say is that it's clever and not what you would expect.

More realistic please. After building my first bridge I was surprised to see it wobbling about like the Tacoma Narrows bridge even when empty. I cant figure out if I am allowed to double up beams. It appears as though I can but showing a label of 1,2,3,etc. on any built up beam section would be great. I also want a popsicle stick bridge option with real weight destruction. I'm having fun but I have lots more ideas.

Another almost there app from Andrew.. Someone needs to remind him maybe that quality is what matters, not quantity. Three Apps all essentially the same concept, none of them really polished. The other two are a little better, though dummy defense was obviously released unfinished as was this. Bridge Bash is a cool concept executed horribly. Large and limited nodes, and trying to build ANY sort of actually interesting bridge is impossible. Only one anchor point? Makes no sense, cool concept, poor execution.

Great app since it first came out.. I got it way back when it first showed up in FAAD. It is one of the best apps I have gotten and it is always challenging and entertaining. The comments tend to be funny too

Great. Good time killer. Works fine.

Good start, needs more.. It's not hard to understand and I like that you've applied a moving load to the testing factor. But, there are some changes to be made and possible add ons. Changes: fix the glitch that occurs when you beat the tests. You have to completely close out the program to start again. Also, the moving load is inaccurate. I suggest using wheeled vehicles as they correspond to weight. Bike to sedan to 18 wheeler and so forth. As far as something you can add to make the game more re-playable. I suggest giving the option for different building materials I.e. Concrete, steel beams, high tension cable. It's a good start but it needs more. Can't wait to see what you do with this.

Bridgebasher is addictive. This game is highly addictive and entertaining. Trying to build a bridge that can hold up to the "Impossible load" is a challenge in itself. But then you see the high scores and wonder "how on earth did they do that". So back to building bridges, or finding alternative ways of getting the letter trains accross. Enjoy. 1gr8dane

Great start but needs more. This app has sooo much potential, and it's pretty cool as is. Need denser grid to make really cool bridges. Need tension vs compression vs beam members. Need more anchor points on land (for suspension bridges). Possibly higher dead load penalty, or better yet give builders a $ budget and have to buy members. 5 stars for such a cool idea!!

Fun Time Waster. This is a fun app where you get to build and destroy bridges by different means. All the bridges seem weak though. Without putting any load on them they will move down and almost fall apart. I enjoy it since I got it through Free App A Day, but I would not pay for it.

It's a five star game.. But if they just.... This game is worth the price. But it could be worth about $5.99 if they just had different levels. The land is allways the same! I would like different land to work with. Some far away, some on different heights. And to make this game rock, they need to make it so the bridge holds itself up by what's attached to the ground on both sides of the bridge. Or even.... Dare I say it... The ground under the bridge. Please developers listen to my cry!

I💗BASHER. So I have gotten this games several times and deleted it and got it back again. I love this game and have been Builder Of The Day It could use an update because when ever I touch begin test it will go to my home screen. It has happened many times before with other apps fix that and you got my money!!!

Fun before but now.... So the game is really quite fun. But here are some problems: It told me my bridge was the least expensive to beat impossibly heavy today. So I enter it into the leaderboard. It never shows up. I tried a few more times. It never showed up. And the thing is that I cant play the app anymore because the congradulations window is stuck popped up and I cant close it to do stuff on the app. The app was alot better when it was free. Also with the new update, all it did was make the bridges easier to make. Nothing more. What a failure.

Educational & Fun!!!. This is a great game. I play it with my son and he really enjoys it. Meanwhile, he's seeing some math, physics, and engineering in action. Better than mindless tapping, this game requires some thought. Great job developers, keep 'em coming!!!

so far so good!. The beginning stages of what will turn out to be a superb game when filled in a bit more. Brings back very fond memories of the old Pontifex game for PCs. Keep up the good work, Andrew, I hope you'll bring this one along even further.

Amazing game and physics!. It really is real life physics. As soon as I got the app, I wasted half an hour building a good bridge. And I did. The comments after each test were basically "amazing". Great app. Great people working in jundroo.

Good Start...I like it.. I do enjoy this game so I think it deserves 3 stars only because: - Add an option that displays the time and battery life. - Needs a bridge gallery save. - More stress tests. (Vehicles, Weather, Books, and People) - More pegs. - Options for cables? If possible or different block types? - Be able to send bridge types to another device via blue tooth directly inside the app. - Multiplayer? (use your imagination) for destroying each others bridge in real time or perhaps turn based. I do love this app it will stay on my phone for a long time. 

Works great on my iPhone 5. Has never crashed for me and I've made scores of big bridges. I love it.

Crash. Crashes any time you build a big bridge to test

Must fix glitch. Fix the congradulations window soon or I will write bad reviews and drag down the rating on your app. When you get a bridge to beat the test the congradulations window never goes down and you have to restart your iPad to resume playing. Fix soon!

sound effects. I own both this and simple physics but I humbly request that you add sound effects to this one I would love to hear the sound of creaky metal as I put more and more stress on the bridge as it moans and snaps

It deserves 3 for the following reasons : - no faster/slower button for word test - more tools as in wood concreate rope etc... - more places to build bridges or diffrent angles - more tests - great timekiller - great for those long car rides or subway rides etc.... - keep coming back for more - addicting/agravating( getting your bridge to work) - add more dots to make a better bridge - add templets for bridges? Defult and custom? - be able to savebridge? Overall: great game and a great time killer onenof those games you want To keep coming back to UPDATE NOW!!!!!!!!!!! Okay. Great game, but a bit buggy. It crashes often, and when I try to save a design, no text appears and I can't enter in the name. The keyboard looks old and clunky, and it doesn't orient to my phone. Because of this, it covers the save button and the text bar, so I'm unable to save.

Awesome. Each app this developer makes is better than the last. He really is honest when he says "realistic physics." His games are pleasant to play for a few minutes or for a few hours. Either way, you are in for a treat.

This should be a game. Love the app, but I think it would be more fun as a traditional game, where you get points for your bridges. Perhaps you earn points through a combination of the test results and the cost of the bridge? By doing this then you at least have the goal of building stronger bridges that cost less! Right now as soon as you beat "Impossibly Heavy" it becomes sort of purposeless. I'd also love the option to save/go back to the last 10 bridges that I designed, and rerun the tests. Anyway, just some thoughts to help make this more engaging!

Suggestion. This is a great game!!! It is the best bridge building game I have ever played!!! One thing could change. You could make the bottom deeper so you could add ground supports to make it more sturdy. Otherwise, great job!!!

Good but it needs an update for the glitches. I agree that you need some cars to be the weight tester and the highscore glitch needs to be fixed I completely have to restart my phone to get it to be normal again

New Feature. I've had this app for almost 10 months now, what made this app perfect is the new Fast Forward button. This is useful because this app drained my device's battery life at an alarming rate. The Fast Forward button really helps.

Okay but crashes a lot.. Needs some serious exceptions handling. You need to fix the problem where big bridges crash. And I'd I make a medium size bridge then start adding weights eventually it will crash. I guess it has something to do with a data type that you have smaller than its suppose to do. Needs to be fixed so it can be playable :D

Pretty good. This app is kinda cool exept it is missing a few things. There should be more elements like rope, cable, concrete pillars, and curved peices. There should also be a way to speed up abd slow down the word test (it can get boring). There should be some different places to build the brige(ex-over a river) Thats wy i gave this 4 stars. Plz update!

It's a pretty good game with a few flaws.. It's good overall but I have a few problems with it. One, the physics engine moves really slowly, and you can build a huge bridge box without it collapsing under it's own weight. And two it needs more ways to destroy your bridge.

Needs more to it. Four tests and no sound, needs much more to do, more tests would be the big thing, plus a challenge mode as well as the regular set up, perhaps you have a budget and you have to build the best bridge you can with the money and test it, gets passed to a point, proceed to next unlocked challenge. It would be way cooler with more abilities.

Brilliant. It is a great app that is just amazing. I am going to be taking physics soon so it should come in handy. I would like to see more parts (curved) and an option for more pegs (bigger bridges) and possibly different materials and hinges (stationary hinge or mobile hinge) also an option to teather the two parts you can put on the two sides so that they dont move would be nice overall an outstanding app.

NEEDS MORE. This game is absolutely amazing, IF it worked correctly. iPhone 6+ user. I can't play any modes because the screens screwed up. Also add levels and different materials, and more. Make unlocks and more in depth things.

Good little app, not much to it. Good little app. Not much to it, though: once you've built a sturdy bridge, that's it, nothing more really for you to do in this app. The game could use multiple levels with variety, perhaps require you to build longer bridges, sloped bridges, or something like that. Also, there should be more "pixels" on screen, so you have more variety in where you place the tension points of your bridge beams. All winning bridges kind of look the same, because there simply aren't enough ways you can vary the design of a winning bridge. Once you figure out how to build it, you're basically done with the app. Great physics engine, very realistic, good use of color to indicate stress on your beams just before they break. If you're easily offended, the messages you get when you build a bad bridge and it breaks easily, might bother you, because they're really insulting!

Fun!. This reminded me of fantastic contraption, which is good, 'cos I loved FC. This game, however, is fun until you manage to find one design that works for all tests, and that didn't take long. Would love more challenges, but good job on the game! Would keep this around just in case I feel inspired again.

Lacking. Good solid start to a game but it's quite lacking. Some variety and progression would be nice. It'll extend play time and sense of accomplishment. As it is currently there's about 10 minutes play time maximum. Those 10 minutes are fun though.

All three have been fun and additive. Buy it and challenge your friends, it's great

Jelly bridge?. It is like making a bridge from jelly, even the most rigid of structures flex and bend (these passed the hardest of tests in bridge builder, a computer sim game) and yet here they are yielded useless... Pay for simple physics not this.

Not worth it. Keeps freezing and only has 1 level! Really not worth the money!

Ok could be better. This app could be better if you were given a bit more freedom not just some points in the grid and maybe 2 anchor points on the land on each side of the bridge so you can make suspension bridges

Not even worth the 99c. Bridge turns to jelly the moment you "test" it. On top of that its very basic and includes very little. The content is what you'd expect of a basic free app, not one you pay for. Very disappointing.

What the.... I got this game when it was free and I dont know if that's the reason but it continuously crashes!!!!!! Its soooo annoying!! This game used to be good but now it just highly annoying!!

Don't let simple physics temp you. I liked simple physics so I bought this. Big mistake. No fun really compared to simple physics and only one boring level with no real 'challenge'. How is it that you pay for this app but the better 'simple physics' is free? You SHOULD get more if you pay for something...

Additive. Love it. Just wish there were more levels and harder bridge crossings.

Sound. Great app but would be good with some music or sound of some sort :)

Is this still in development or something?. Seriously agree with the reviews posted here, there is no variety in the bridge scenarios. This app desperately needs new "maps", or else won't be used for more than the first 2 days. Need more graphic detail, fine-tuning on the "word" train (boring, make it a real train). Multiple building tools would be nice too. The fundamentals of a decent game are here, but it needs some serious tweaking.

Really fun. I really liked it and it was one of my fav apps, but I wish there was like different levels, cause I have completed every thing in 1 day, I really liked the game but it would be even better if there was more challenges, welldone! Great app

Crashes. Once you've got a big bridge built up, the game will crash during tests. Despite this being a fun little game, it really brings one down when you've built a perfect bridge and you can't even see the full fruits of your work. If there were no crashes, this would be a fairly good game. I'd think that most people would give up the game after they build a perfect bridge (and get good scores from them). 3/5 if there were no crashes.

Don't bother.... This game is pretty silly and pointless. Not nearly as good as simple physics. There is only 1 anchor point on each side of the bridge too, which makes it even worse! DO NOT GET IT!!!

Really? This is a bridge?. The concept is good births execution is flawed. Sure your bridge looks good while building it, but as soon as you start testing it the fe turns your bridge into jelly. It just does not make sense. If the whole point of the game is to Make strong bridges, you think you Would be able to make them out of a solid material instead of jelly...

SOOOO FUN. It's a really good game to have fun and waste time. Try and make your best bridge and be hilariously insalted by the pop up score boxes... Overall the game I'd most like to play in my home screen. I like how there is no limit to money so you can go over the top spamming your bridge! On the other side it's pretty bad graphics and there is only one level. But like simple physics and dummy defence the quality and the realistic value of the game is great and fun and amazing. Buy this game and all of their games. GOOD GAME *****

limited amusement. This game can only handle relatively simple bridges before crashing or resulting in an error. This is ultimately frustrating as more complicated bridges can be built but cannot be challenged, which is a shame.

Don't get this game you're wasting your money! My original review: "Bought this hoping it would be better than the demo. It was. Hardly. If you want a good bridge game, get CrypticSea's 2d version for pc. It's free. I know, it's not for ipod/phone, and it has very simple graphics, but the game is a whole lot more fun. Pros: - Pretty fun - Variety of testing modes - Relatively good graphics - No bugs so far Cons: - Short - Graphics make the game look like it was made for 4 year olds - The letters in the letter testing mode don't always touch the ground. Awesome game!. This is an awesome game! It's a great time waster and gives you something to do when you are bored! Well worth the 99 cents. Just one thing is that it should have some more levels to play on.

Very Good but.... ... Needs a variety of anchor points instead of just the edge of the 2 cliffs. Like another level with a long gap and 2 anchor points on the edges and another 1 on the center of the ground (for a column support). That way we could make much more different kinds of bridges.

i liked joint monkeys. the games pretty good but i lied the joint monleys better then the joint weights the monkeys looked way better

Extremely Disappointing. I bought this after having so much fun with the "Simple Physics" game. Considering that this one actually costs money, I thought it must be even better so I was excited. After downloading it I was extremely disappointed. This game is not even close to as good as "Simple Physics!" There is only one level that leaves very little to the imagination. I beat the game in about 2 minutes (and no I'm not exaggerating), and like the other guy who commented stated, the game then freezes! So now I am left stumped feeling like a chump for actually spending money on this poorly thought out game. This is my first time writing a review for a game but I felt obligated to hopefully warn future buyers to not waste their time or money on this!!

Sad. I bought this app a while ago when it was free and for some reason I delieted it not it costs money and I am only one cent away from buying it!

Very simplistic. No levels, just the one and four modes of destruction. No real goals. Very simple, could have easily been made into much more.

Great idea but has bug. When you get high score it asks a name. After enter it your name not shown in the list then you stuck there when you want to close popped up dialog box. Only way to turn back editor is restart the application.

Please Update. This is one of my favourite apps. I've been playing it for 8 years. Please update it to 64-bit so we don't lose one of our favourite apps!

What a disappointment!. I played SimplePhysics, and bought this game thinking it would be equally good. What a disappointment! There's no challenge, no replay value, and barely an original play value. The physics are poorly done and uninventive. This game is a major letdown.

Like the App but it crashes. Once a build a bridge to a certain size the app keeps crashing. Kind of takes the fun out of it. For a 'building' app you'd think they'd build a better app.

FREEZES!!!. Game always freezes at high scores. And is only fun for like 10min not worth a dollar should be free!

it's not worth any stars IT'S NOT WORTH IT IN GENERAL. this game is TERRIBLE not only that it costs $1 It crashers every time I start to actually have fun. The glitches are the best part in this whole "game" and I use the term loosely. You can Stack BALLS on top of each other you can SPAM weights you can SPAM building. THE ONLY REASON I GAVE IT A STAR IS BECAUSE IT FORCED ME You can delete this "game" that's what I did and I felt closure.

Good but has bug. I love this app, it keeps me busy and it's fun. There is just one problem. It keeps crashing. I can't make a complicated bridge or add very many weights before it crashes. Would be five stars. Great game but pls fix this.

Not worth it. I bought this game thinking it would be fun and all. I was wrong. I payed one buck for the game and there is nearly any physics. You would be better of buying a fun game. I got bored in 30 minutes.

Good game. The game is good. You can spend quite a bit of time designing different bridges to beat the word test, and the fact that you can save them makes this an awesome game. One time I made a bridge with around 15 beams and I went to the weight test, I put 47 weights on it and it said that my bridge was too complicated and to remove some beams or trusses. Its funny how little physics the iPod can create.

Addictive Intelligent Game. My engineers-in-training (my kids) keep taking my iPhone to play this game. I agree with a previous review-can't understand how anyone can make a passable bridge for $132, but whatever. Still addictive.

More action. I love this game its the most played game on my ipod but i like to add my 2 cent by saying u sould add more test and heavier words to the word test but beside that i love this app

Great!. My friend showed it to me and I am addicted to it now! Only crashes when I'm testing a 4700$ bridge. I built a bridge completely supported from the bottom that lasts until super duper heavy.

Pocket god critics VIII. Ahh a game of building bridges. It's fun but it gets old fast. The only thing to make this game more interesting is to build an other bridge. Since they're so little options that means the game gets old fast. But the game has many good options as well. It's worth 99 cents. ( T_T) Pocket MAD

Additions. You should make it where you can change the scene instead of just the one.

Engineers will dig this.... As an Engineer I found myself gravitating to building and experimenting with all sorts of designs... I could have fun with a far more complicated version, but Engineers are a different breed.

Good.... I've had a lot of fun playing this app but agree with other poster about the bridged being trampoline-ISH!

Awesome. Have been playing for an hour and beat word train. Though it just started crashing. Please fix!!!

Love it. It does need a way to save your bridges tho, cuz I actually managed to make a bridge that holds up to all the stages in the word train thingy, and it's hard to recreate.

Awesome. One of the best apps I have seen. No visible bugs and it NEVER crashes. Although I would recommend adding more stages to the word test.

Really Fun. Great fun and now that you can save it it is even better. A must download although I got it for free I would pay 99cents.

Have traffic. This game is great I mean like awesome but do you think you could make a thing where you could have real trains cross the bridge and toggle between them

Greatest game ever!. I've spent more time playing this game then I would like to admit, but I wouldn't take back the time if I could.

Ehh it's ok. No where near as good as Simple Physics or Dummy Defense. Should have multiple levels and use trucks or trains going across, not words. Got past all of it including impossible in about 15 tries. Probably not even worth 99 until they include more levels

I'd say it's a classic. New update changed the physics around I think a little too

Needs more. The game needs Suspention,cable-stayed bridge And a ground like 1or2small spots lower to make a under truss bridge i know this would mean making a 2nd or 3rd map to put bridges on also needs more ways to test the bridges

I love this game, but. Make it like simple physics with the finger drager and the newtons on top, update please :), you have to update or people just arn't gonna pay for thing like this:( :(

Make it have better proccesor. I have this awesome bridge that can stand anything and right before it brakes the game says it is to complicated

Awesome!. Great game with realistic physics. A game for serious fans of the bridge building genre, and not tarted up with cartoon animals or other cheesy accoutrements. Lots of fun, and near-limitless replay value! Definitely well worth $.99!

More realistic. It would be better if you could attach the bridge to the ground. And possibly build from the side.

Awesome. Game is great but try to fix the crashing problem. I made a bridge so strong the game crashed cause I put to many monkeys on it xD.

Not bad. Like it. Do not see how anyone can build a bridge for 132 dollars that passes but I will keep trying. Would like to see a 3D version that can be rotated as you build.

Great Game!. I love this game and it's really fun..... but on the ball test every time I get to 30 it crashes!!! After a while it just gets really annoying...

Awsone game but needs more. It needs some tools or different types of beams metal, wood, rope etc. And some lvls to keep occupied. Or be able to edit the sandbox mode landscape, background, anchored points. Probaly more chalenges

Pretty good. Instead of words for the weight test make cars or trucks be the weight test

Seems inaccurate and crashes alot. Load seems mostly to just test ramps. Really only one weak point to overcome- left side of ramp. Was excited about game and would have paid good price for a good version of this but not as it is. Leaderboards don't update. Program hangs. No updates. Nice concept but seems abandoned.

Great game. I have a good reason for my "name" to be great game . I play it all the time and the only thing it needs is for it to have sound

Good for a little while. I'd like to see more option for anchor points and maybe be able to make a longer bridge over a longer gap In general make it more like simple physics where there is some type of objective

Fun but needs improvement. This is fun and I enjoy it. Way too much stress on left side. One level is kind of a disappointment but still enjoyable none the less. 4 stars as a result.

Great brain game. This is a phenomenal "brain" game. It's simple enough that my 7th old plays it, but hard enough to stump many adults. It'll teach your kid great physics concepts.

Cool game. I love this program and I've mastered the impossibly heavy word test. I would VERY MUCH appreciate the addition of the testing methods seen in the app "simple physics" such as the finger and explosion test.

Good start - don't buy.. Interesting concept. It will occupy you for about 30 minutes. "Full" version is no different from free version. Only one puzzle. If you beat the lite version, you've also beat the full version.

It's ok. It's ok but theirs only 1 level an this is the only app that I rated under 5 star so I'm really disappointed I mean even simple physics is 5 star!! I mean great job but please have an update I swear this is the only app that i rated under 5 star!!! But please update!

Good!. Great fun app for everyone but it will get boring after a week or so when you've tried all the real interesting combinations to most people, but definetly worth it!

Good. Doesn't crash.. Entertaining, got it when it was free. I don't think the designs would work in real life, however

Great way to pass time. Fun pick-up-and-play game without the mindlessness of other time killers. Check out his other games if you like this one.

This game is AWESOME!. I love this game. But it needs more like a semi test and more support points like some on the little cliffs. And maybe have an option for a solid and limp road. Other than that this game is one of my favorites.

Frustrating & addictive. It is frustrating but that makes it addictive.

It's fun but. It's kinda repetitive and The updates most of the time just add stuff promoting the new game so it would be nice to see new stuff for this one not just promotions for the new one so it's not bad bust it's not great so I give it 4 out of five:)

3D. This has a sweet physics engine, but if you guys would release another app that shows real 3D bridges that you get to build with different materials. The demo the bridge by placing different explosives at different parts of the bridge. That would be awesome!

Possibly not impossible.... So I've been playing this game for a while now and I have created a bridge that can withstand the impossibly heavy. However when impossibly heavy got to the end, the game crashed. So yes they did make it "impossible."
