Great. It took me 3 hours to beat the game but I don't have 3 stars on each level. It's more challenging than simple physics and also has 25 levels! That's a lot of levels. This app will keep me busy for a while.

Thought provoking!!. Love this game...so many different ways to beat a level. We compete at the office for best design or most unique. Great time passer. Love the new instruments of death levels too! Please, please add more level or create another new physics game!

Good But Not Great. Being an engineer you try to use engineering principals but they don't seem to work. I do like the program, but it could be improved some. I like all these type of programs which are similar to each other. I have enjoyed playing each and every one of them. Please keep trying to update these update programs.

Excellent game - Level pack is well worth the 99 cents. Unlike some of the other folks reviewing this game, I think the level pack is well worth the extra money and am happy to pay the developer for his work. Game itself is a lot of fun, although I would like some more variety in the levels. Still, a solid four star game.

Another Great Game. This is yet another excellent game by Mr. Garrison. It takes a popular level out of Simple Physics and makes a whole new game out of it. It's well done, the only problem I've seen so far is a few crashes, but not *too* many. excellent job!

Another great game!. This is another great game similar to Simple Physics. The objective is to design structures that will protect a test dummy from various hazards using as few materials as possible. The game is quite challenging and will keep you busy for hours. I liked the broader variety of challenges in Simple Physics better than the dummy focused tasks in this game, but this is still a great game, easily worth the price.

So addicting, so fun. I love the whole series and this iteration is even better, fun levels and better controls, interesting challenges and better design. If you like puzzles or architecture you'll like this game! (i had a crowd of friends around when I showed then last night)

Feels Very Accurate. I'm a structural engineer and I love just goofing around with this game. I hope Andrew keeps going with more great apps like this one. I have them all so far. Thanks for a great way to kill time and to keep my skills sharp :)

A. This game is verryrrrryy amuzing And highly recommend it , it's pretty easy to get three stars you just have to use your brain, the hard part is gettin on the leader board, it's a great game, I think one of the best if not best on the apple store, keep them coming Andrew

Makes you think…. I was introduced to this app by a good friend who was totally addicted! I thought that they were absolutely CRAZY! Once I downloaded the app, I understood why! Wow! You need to combine strategy with thriftyness to achieve the goal. I give this 15 stars. K8E Bug ~ age 12

Good game but it’s broken.. The only problem with this game is a glitch on the iPad where the inputs are inverted and upside down. But by just rotating your screen, it can fix the problem. Other than that, it’s a great game.

Hands down more fun than flinging birds.. I enjoy this app more than most any for a short bit of fun. I play it with my 4 and 6 year old kiddos. They love it and some complexity allows for cooperative play. We take turns trying to solve. It never ceases to amaze me how they solve the task vs I. So much fun. Can't wait for more.

Finally a challenge based on reality!. I'm not saying angry birds isn't a fantastic waste of time... But this game is giving me insight into real world engineering dynamics. Very adult and challenging- but how about a little primer or tutorial on basic engineering principles and applications so I can gain more insight into why certain designs I used worked better than others? Overall great game though!

Controls.... I enjoy the app, but I find the controls difficult, particularly in the add-on level pack. The lines are difficult to draw precisely, even when zoomed in, and, in playback mode, the button I hit is almost always not the one that is activated. Also, it's too hard to zoom in on the design during playback mode when there is a large distance between the weapon and the dummy. Finally, there's no pause button - you can grab the slider, but I only figured this out accidentally. I like the game itself, but I don't really like playing it.

Addictive!. Great creative thinking game. I suggest adding more sound effects. Also when I exit the app and open it back up, it brings me to the main screen instead of the level I was on. Slight annoyance.

Great work!. The programmers did an awesome job of creating a fun and intellectually engaging game. Like a great book, enjoy playing each level, for as soon as you finish the last you'll wish you had more pages to read. Simple Physics is similarly great fun.

Amazingly fun!. Wonderfully fun little game. Some levels are quite challenging and all are fun. Another great physics/build game... If you're an engendering type try it out, very fun! And remember that triangles are really strong shapes! I hope they keep adding levels. A free update would be nice ;)

Dumby's need not apply. New pack is good stuff, but I shouldn't have had to pay for it For the physics minded only. If you don't understand why your simple unsupported box that you just made doesn't withstand the rock heading towards Melvin, quit while you are behind.

Must buy. This game is a must have!!! I literally stay up late playing it, sometimes till 2:00am. I can honestly promise you that you will be addicted to it the first time you play. I am really looking forward to new levels.

Short and Bittersweet. It was fun for awhile, pretty short though with only 25 levels, it's about 3 hours of gameplay to max everything in the game. I expected a lot more game time for the money. Instead, I get offers to keep me informed of future games. How about you add some levels to the one I already paid money for? Unless content improves or prices drop, this will be the last game of his I'll ever pay for, and that's a shame because it really was fun while it lasted.

<3 This!. As an engineering nerd/student I love these games! To those rating this low saying it's a copy of Simple Physics and such, that's because they're made by the same dev ... Doh! Consider this newest iteration as extra levels. Keep them coming dev great work!

PLEASE READ. My brother and I are having a race to see who can finish all 25 levels first. Neither of us can pass the MeteorShower level - even WITH the solution pack. It seems like the meteors fall at random each time easily keeping any solution at standby until another similar shower pattern occurs. Other than that it is one Hell of a game.

I love this game. I bought this game a long time ago, I was so excited about the sandbox mode, it worked for the first couple days, and I can still play the levels that I, and others created during that time, but anything more recent than a certain point doesn't work, also, the rating system doesn't work. When you click on best levels it just takes you to the oldest levels. And then proceeds in order of when they were posted, regardless of whether they were rated high or not.

Great. After loving simple physics for the challenge and disliking santa's engineer for being too easy, thought this one was somewhere in between. Well worth a buck though. There were a couple of hard ones... The train level and the meteor level to name a few. Took me the weekend to 3-star all 25 levels. I like this developer and will continue to buy levels as he pumps them out. Keep it up!

Challenging your mind. creatively, intuitively and in a way not offered in games. Rag doll 2/3 offers a challenge, but it really seems like a game. This does not, except for the competition of unknowns. I've recommended it to many. I just purchased it and have only rec'd 1 star for each level. Which I very proud of since this is all out of my realm of knowledge. What a terrific and easy learning tool!! I can go for hours. And, WHY DO REVIEWS ALWAYS HAVE SOMEONE THAT HAS TO SAY"GREAT TIME KILLER"! I say to them, "Knock off the superior attitude & do something else!"

Good game!. Solid 4 star game. Loses a star for having to flip my iPad to play and low content. Come on dev's, let's not be lazy now... Game is super short, but fun. Can be beat in under 2 hours... Might purchase the add-on content. I could see cutting your games short if you were pressured for time, but people expect much more from a game like this. Two hours is pretty short for the price. Some games last a long time with reply value for the same cost. I will admit, this game does have replay value. Fun game, with good physics, but crippled by very low content. EDIT: I purchased the add-on content. It's super hard. If you don't think the default levels are that good, don't bother with the add-on content. It should have been included in the game anyway, not as a separate purchase IMO.

Really great game. This is such a fun game. When i got a note saying this game was Available it's the fastest app purchase I've ever made. Half way through it and can't recommend it enough. Easy five stars. These are the few kinds of games that really are good for kids.

I would pay for just a sandbox style app designed by you.... Imagine a Play area twice as wide as the tower level in simple physics. Imagine being able to choose different materials of different tensile strengths to build with. Imagine how much time we would spend blowing things up!!!

Good game that needs two things.. Thoroughly enjoyed three staring all the levels. Addictive and yet very challenging in some levels. The only things I didn't like was the lack of multitasking support and the odd reaction to screen orientation. It will flip any direction but if you are playing with home button on the left, the notification center is at the bottom of the screen. That means texts pop up down there and if you try to drag a beam construction from the bottom, it pulls up an upside down notification center. That and having to reload the app and navigate to the level every time I checked a text was rather annoying. It saved progress but it's just annoyingly time consuming. Would love to give five stars when that is fixed.

This game is a lot of fun. One small, minor thing though.. I love this game. It is one of my favorites. It is very challenging, but who doesn’t like a good challenge. It isn’t even a bad price. And the add-on is another 99 cents, but still. It is a fun game. The ONLY thing I wish could be fixed is screen rotation. The screen wont rotate. It stays one way, but I hardly can stand it being upside down. It bothers me though. Probably not everyone. Other than that this game is great.

I will get serious. Look this game is advertised as a great cheap game but when I started it up it just flipped upside down and no controls work. Basically you took money from me. So if you don’t fix it it is false advertising. I love your other games I have simple planes as well but this is doesn’t live up to the standards you have set with all your other great games. I want this fixed or my money back. And I’m not upset and frustrated over $.99 its the fact that this problem has not been fixed. I looked at vids of the gameplay it looked amazing but this is bad. I will write letters and even contact the people who run the App Store until this problem is fixed. I’ll give you until Christmas Day to do this before I get really upset. And I don’t wanna go there. I know that you may be spending more time on SimplePlanes 2 but you still have other needs that need to be attended to. It’s like if you are the only doctor in the hospital. If you only ever focus on one patient the others will die. Just like if you only focus on one game all the others will die. I wan5 this fixed and I will keep checking in. If you are done with this game take it off the App Store and give us our money back. I’m trusting in you to fix this. Your reputation as a one of the best devs in mobile history depends on it too. I hope you make the right choice if not ohhh boi I’ll be back on Christmas Day. Thank You for your time.

Not a game for dummies :). Another fun game, keep up the good work! I think you should add a notification next to the in game material amount, that shows how many stars you will get for that amount of used material.

Better than Simple Physics. I enjoy this game more than Simple Physics. However, Not sure if an update came out but lately the game will not open. I miss it. Please update & correct & glitches. A game well worth it!

Best game I've played in a long time. This is truly one of the better Game Apps that has come out in a long time. Designing a protective shelter and the realism of the crushing and breaking of the shelter is so cool. Being able to replay, slow motion and pause to see where the week point in your design is one of my favorite features. Great job to the creators!

Great game, a few distractions.. Overall engrossing, fun puzzler. I would enjoy it more with fewer in-app pop ups linking to other products. It may be "the way things are done", but it turns me off to have to close out ads in order to play a game I've already bought. When games are fun and well-crafted (as is this one), I seek out the authors for other titles. I prefer not being nagged to do so.

Great game!. I loved simple physics and his other games and Andrew is a great game developer. I wish he would see huge success in the app store, it's a fun and challenging game. The replay value is helped by going over your designs and seeing how to save money.

Great app. This app is perfect. If you are a fan of other titles from this author, like simple physics, than you will love this one. After hours of playing, I'm left with one complaint... I can't get enough levels!! More levels!!! I need more COWBELL!! Sorry, I got a little carried away there...

Another spot on game by garrison, its excellent , coulnt be better , great if u like puzzles, or physics, jusayin i really hate when someone gets a high score and plays the same cost over and over again and fills up the all time leaderbaord just to prevent other people from gettin on it, i think itd be nice if u deleted repeated names and just kept one of their names/scores this really puts a damper on some of the levels , and prevents alot of people from gettin on the leaderboards which is a big part of the game if u ask me

A real head scratcher!. Just when you think you got this game figured out, the next challenge comes along to tell you NO! :P Interesting challenges, good clean fun, my 6 year old even has fun figuring out the first few levels!

Great. I love this game, just as I did simple physics too, the only thing that this game needs that is missing is the color pressure option, so you can see the stresses on your design.

Creative and intelligent fun. Like the fun part of science class, test the true potential of toothpick structures while aiming for the lowest budget (with the least amount of materials). Design is key and knowledge of physics is helpful but hardly necessary in this learn as you go platform with video playback to analyze your errors and celebrate your victories.

Yet another entertaining app from Andrew. Pretty much love all of this guys apps and this one is no exception. The gameplay is simple however it is quite challenging as well. As others have noted, I would like to see the color stress markers return in a future update.

Bugs Galore. There’s an abundance of bugs in this app. I can’t even press “close” after testing a design. It’s a real shame.. could be a cool app.

Used to Work. Now it starts upside down and can’t get past the initial screen since none of the controls work. iPad Air 2 with iOS 11.3.1.

Update. The double tapping feature zooms in and out when I tap a bunch of Times and the one-touch to move screen feature just moves the Screen around like crazy. Please fix that. Here's the good part About the update: I have not tried it but it's probably really awesome: Sandbox mode. Please make more games like dummy defense because otherwise its awesome!

Good challenge. Good thinking physics game. User interface is simple, easy. The solution to some levels does not become intuitive even after many attempts, some hints would be nice as an option. Definitely recommend.

GREAT GAME!. Im an old fart (80 yo), and I love this game. It forces me to think about solving problems with geometry and physics. When I run out of thoughts on how to solve the current puzzle I can check the solution and learn from it. It's hard to put the iPad down I enjoy this game so much.

Always great games.. I love these physics based games can get very difficult at times but once you work out the right structure for the task it feels good and then trying to refine your structure to get that 3 star rating. excellent game money well spent.

great game and fun gamplay. some levels are challenging which is good but on the levels with explosions and falling boulders there is no sound effects. Im not sure if there is just no sound effects or the game sound effects are not working on my ipod, and yes my ipod sound is up haha. So could you plz fix the sound or add sound effects on my ipod touch 4th gen. but otherwise great game. (as sound effects add to the entertainment of a game)

Great app!. Great thing about this games is the opportunity to go back to finished levels and improve on your designs, cheaper to make and more efficient structures., It's two thumbs up from me :D I'd love to see a 3D version, only improvement to this game though, maybe some sound effects like structural stress's, crashing and breaking sounds would be great!!!

It's ok - review by- irateapps company. This app has realistic physics and a good variety of levels. But it doesn't have nearly enough levels and it gets boring after about 20 minutes. Over all it's good but no more waste of time updates thanks. Get this app if you like to design and experiment.

Like old times. Hey, It's a great app very fun. It Reminds me of an old game on the computer in which you build a bridge with a budget to get a train across a gap. The only thing I didn't like about this app is that it won't let me purchase the physics package.

Great game.. This is a great game. Really makes you keep your mind sharp!! Our 11 yr old is really eating this up!!! She has really picked up a lot of knowledge of physics these last few months.

It's good but...... It great but I find myself always deleting because the, calibration?, I guess that's what it is, is off. I find my self putting things down where I didn't intend them to go. Also you should make deleting things better, but other than that it's a great game.

Don't listen to the handful of people who apparently don't feel they should ever have to pay for anything, it is well worth your .99 cents to support this developer who consistently delivers enjoyable games. *Update 2* Playing it through for the second time... That is something I rarely can say about IOS games.

Needs more levels!. The game is fun to play but I made it through in about 2 hours achieving 3 stars. It needs more levels to make it worth the price in my opinion.

90%. Almost there. I like this game a lot. Not as unique as simple physics but definitely good. Especially like that there are 25 levels to start. Stuck on one though and will NOT pay for a hint.

Obsessed. I haven't played one game full out until this one and simple physics. These are fun, challenging. My only wish is it should have sounds. Train sounds, explosion sounds, collision sounds. Otherwise, awesome.

Wish List. I would like the option of skipping levels that I can't solve even after 10 or more attempts. And I don't want to buy the option to skip levels. Otherwise I don't play as much and will delete the game. I like game but don't have to solve every level.

Good game. Definitely enjoying this. Early on I thought many of the levels were way too easy, but the difficulty ramps up and some of the later levels can be quite a challenge

Needs an update. It is fun but you need to be able to see what your best score was and pull up the build you used to get it.

Worth every penny. I love the more challenging levels, but most were too easy to get three stars on. Loads of fun though. Certainly worth the price!

Great thinking game. So levels are harder than the others. It's fun to see how cheap you can make the structures before they fail. Good for young and old.

Misleading!. Was so happy to see an update with new levels. Thought this would be so great to at last have more levels. The update was free so I downloaded it happily. Then I open the game to check out the new stuff only to find I have to pay. What kind of a kick in the balls is this? If you have to pay it should say you have to in the update.

Outstanding!. Didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I do. Very addictive. I can actually feel the synapses in my brain going off! Wait.....what? Oh yeah, definitely a keeper.

Fun and surprisingly intuitive!. Love the game and can get lost in it. I'd like to see some of the navigation improved, like finding target costs for earning 3 stars, etc. It would also be fun to choose your material (e.g. Weaker but flexible versus stronger but brittle).

You would be a Dummy not to love this!. I was hooked with the original dummy defense and this one is even more fun than the last! Keep up the great work!

Awesome. Some of the only games I've paid for are as well thought out as this and most importantly require actual use of the brain.

This game is a fun challenge.. The recently added new level pack is a very welcomed addition and I hope there are more in the near future!

Hard but fun. I'm about 2/3 through this game, and it's great fun. It gets pretty hard toward the end, but it just makes winning the levels that much more satisfying.

Best mobile physics engine. Everyone will enjoy this and the other physics-oriented games by this developer. Play on!!

Good engineering type of game. Has its bugs like all apps tend to but overall this is one of the most enjoyable "thinking" games out. Can't wait for next installment.

Great exercise for the mind. While not entirely realistic, this is a very good cartoon version of accurate physics simulation. It is a lot of fun as the game encourages the most elegant solution to each problem.

More!. What a pleasant surprise. This game is brilliant and addictive. I'm begging, either update it with more levels or give us another title to buy with the same theme.

Friggin Great!!!. This is just brilliant really. You can play for a minute or you can play for an hour. I like trying to get three stars on every level!

Just buy it!. Game is a lot of fun. Nice to use your brain for once instead of smashing buttons and killing stuff. I look forward to more levels and new games from this author.

Great Game!. The game is awesome! The only thing I don't like about Andrew Garrison's games are that there are never any updates. This is his 3rd fame in a series, and instead of paying a dollar once and getting free updates with new levels...he abandons the game as soon as it is released and makes a new one that you have to pay money for again.

Great game but stuck on level 24:/. So much in but the finger test doesn't really work right. Also anybody have any idea on how to beat level 24?

As expected. Your games never fail to meet expectations. Well done. There are a few minor physics issues that you may want to re-look at, but it's executed very well. Good purchase.

Awesomely addicting!. My kids and I love it! We keep fighting over my phone to have a turn playing it! Can't wait for them to go to school so I can play by myself!

Good but. I love these physics games but this one is very flawed. As mentioned by a few others there are problems with pushing the correct buttons or lines appearing in a different spot from where the finger is touching the screen. Fix that and 5 stars it is!

Awesome, but to short. Completely awesome , but only took a couple hours to finish. Defiantly worth the money, I will buy others from this developer.

Very addictive. One of the very few games where I've felt compelled to unlock other levels via In-App Purchase. Haven't been able to put this, or Simple Physics, down.

Amazing game!. This game is very addictive. It never crashes AND there are so many ways you can beat the levels. Easily worth the download.

Great game company. I love this companies physics games. Always entertaining. This is my least favorite of simple rockets and simple physics. But that's like saying of the $100 $50 and $20.. The $20 is my least favorite... Though I still enjoy them..

Nice challenge. You can run though it and go back make your designs better and cheaper. No one right way to do it.

Sad to see it go. I really love this app but by the next update it probably won't work. The developer needs to update it so it can work with a more modern iOS system

Another great game!!. On the original game I always liked to use the dummies to test my structures. Glad this game came around with real dummy fun! Can't wait for the next game to hit the store!

Best Game in a Long While. Really fun game. Good games are getting hard to find but this is a great one. Only complaint...the budget numbers at the top of the screen are very hard (impossible) to read...even on an iPad.

Fantastic. Finally a game where you try to save the guy instead of destroy him. Fun. Family-friendly. Challenging. Educational. A game I feel good about letting our seven year old play.

Great continuation of the series!. Andrew Garrison's physics games are some of my favorite iOS games out there! Fun for hours, and lots of replay-ability. Some of the only apps I've paid for!! Download this app along with simple physics, and bridge basher!!

Love this game. I love this type of game you have to use you brain and you get to create your own designs. Its so much fun to play recommend to all to play.

Level editor makes this the best game ever. But the game crashes when I play user made levels. Please fix it.

Simple Fun. The simulation isn't really very accurate because some of the best solutions don't make a lot of sense when calculated manually. It is fun and addicting but it doesn't take long (maybe an hour or two at most) to get thru all 25 levels. Would recommend it if it had more levels.

Rms. Could use some better info, such as where are contact points and can a double piece of material be used? And others. There also seams to be several program cliches. But it really makes me think. Thanks great job.
