Nice sounds but some problems. Sounds are awesome. But when you open a project on garage band after having one already open, it makes the program lag so I have to close the GarageBand app and open it back up in order for me to use octane. Also I want to buy more sounds but it doesn’t allow me to. If I click and hold the sound pack I want to buy it shows the price but once I let go it disappears so I can’t click on it to purchase it. Please fix this I really love the app

Keys. Would give a five if it had a zoom & stretch option on the keyboard

Waste of time. Don’t support developers with a paywall . Why would anyone pay for an unstable app.

Do Not waste money on this App!!!. I downloaded the app for free. And then purchased banks and presets after logging in because you’re required to purchase it to use it. Then after that the app still did not work in my DAW (BeatMaker3) I sincerely regret wasting my money!!!!

THIS APP IS A SCAM!!!!. I made all the in-app purchases for more sounds and few hours later the app asked me to repay or subscription to use all the sounds that I already purchased 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Great sound horrible pain in but for non work users. I was excited about some of the pack s I bought they sound awesome. I go home try it out And it’s making me sign in to get my content Which is crazy so many of us don’t have home internet. No internet = no sounds Why is that

Awesomeness …..BUT. Okay first off I’ll like to say I use the desktop version often I didn’t know it had a iPad version I was looking for a new Auv3 sound module for some new sound for when I’m producing on the iPad And boom this came up I was like wow I use that in logic and I new about the sounds and the layering of sounds in the app to create new sound not to mention the arpeggios and pre made arps .the sound packs are so worth the money and little did I know I didn’t have to buy them again because I had an account already with the desktop version. Okay my one problem is the BUGS it’s a little buggy and if and when the iron out those wrinkles this will hands down the one of the best sound module on iPad . You guys should invest heavily into cleaning out the bugs and make it more efficient..deserve 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ based on potential ….Okay after more than a month with Octane for IPad ..you guys have to make this available without internet service it’s just a space holder in that case to be honest if this not fixed soon I’ll be changing my rating to 2 or stars

DO NOT BUY IT. I need a total refund for the Octane ISO App and all the plugin i just purchased. I purchased the app, then the plug ins and now I can not access either. This is totally unacceptable. Please refund my account. Thank you.

performance. Please fix the performance and loading times of each preset. Some take forever to work or completely crash when trying to use as an auv3.

Scam. Do not download this app. It forced you to sign into an account and when you sugn up it still doesn’t let you sign in. It’s completely unusable. And you will not get a refund.

Caint purchase a pack. So the problem is I had this on iPhone I bout a couple packs then it stopped letting me buy packs I spent about 20 dollars on extra packs now it won’t let me buy them so now they show as locked and it’s trying to get me to buy everything I already bout just to get the packs I don’t have so basically I’m bout to spend money twice y’all need to fix the filter u kno it’s a issue it don’t sound the same when u cut it off u have to make your own filter and put it back the way it was when u can buy sound separate me and my brother stopped using this app because of that I also used this on my desktop first b4 I even had extra sounds but y’all make it complicated why show the extra packs then take me to a page where I have to buy all of them u basically no longer sell them separately it don’t show a price no more it just say locked go somewhere with that fix it please and I will come back not bout to spend 40 on top of the 30 y’all bout to make me buy twice just for the extra packs that’s not good for business

Bad App. App constantly crashes. Sound packs are great, the sounds are A+ , but it really defeats the purpose because it crashes when using as an AuV3 with GarageBand.

Bought it all just to get nickel and dimed for packs I can’t download but paid for originally. Wondering if this is some kind of joke. Was apprehensive about buying anything, but I’m the end decided why not and not only bought their entire pack but a monthly membership too. Just to not be able to download anything and keep getting asked to purchase everything I have already paid for. Give me a break

Be upfront with your pricing…. To the developer: be upfront with your pricing! Upon opening the app the user is immediately met with an option to sign in or create an account which costs money. Once subscribed you then offer IAP’s according to users who have paid for the subscription. At the very least offer a free trial. I instantly deleted the app as have many others that frequent the iOS music forums. Oh well…

Read the reviews before wasting your money. Constantly crashes, freezes constantly, must be on wifi to use, asks to buy iap’s you already own when it does load! They will not correct the issues at soundware. READ THE REVIEWS

Unstalling, 3 months old baby can do app design better than this. Read above This app works more like a business corporation rather than as patron to musicians.

Hard to beat for the price. Sure it has some issues, but you can’t beat the price. This unlocks an entire VST on my phone, iPad, and my computer for almost nothing. Incredible!

Really?. I really hate subscriptions. I’ve been making music on my iPhone and iPads since they came out. I have been a proponent for iOS based music making for years and have beta tested many apps for years. I also make music and other instruments than apps but that’s not what I’m talking about here I’m talking about a subscription-based app. I think the only time there should be a subscription is if your app has been out for many years and has a ton of in app purchases that you might not want to buy all of them but you might want to try them all out for a month or so and figure out which ones you want to buy. I don’t support a lot of apps that I have purchased that have gone into the subscription route and don’t let the people who have purchased the app access to the entire app (not all companies or developers do this but there are many and it’s very annoying). So I will get off of my soapbox and tell you that I cannot give this app any sort of review because you have to pay before you can even play. How are we going to tell you if it’s decent if we have to pay before we can even use it? How are you going to have customers tell you about early bugs or glitches? I am not saying that there are any but sometimes there are and some devs can’t fix them quickly. So basically you are out of more money if your have to wait for updates. I am surprised that AudioKit is promoting this. Yes- developers should get paid for their work but at least allow us to use or for a few before we have a month to use it. I didn’t even see a free trial. Sorry about the long review that has nothing to do with the app itself. They also make TIZE which is another Subscription-based app. Yay

Trash. This app been giving me problems since I brought it and now it locked me out with a message saying it doesn’t recognize my purchase or subscription. I’m still waiting on their support team to fix the issue or refund my money..

Scam, Company tries to go around apples IAP features. Do NOT buy their sound packs from their website, when you do this, it allows the company full access to credit card info, as well as passwords and other private information! Buyers BEWARE!!

Not a Scam, But Close. I don’t believe these guys set out to rip people off but that’s what seems to be happening. If Apple knew what these guys were doing they’d shut them down. When any app asks you to purchase their add-ons outside of the Apple ecosystem there’s a reason - They cant be leveraged into responding to customers. You can’t appeal to Apple. For those of you who aren’t getting refunds or access to your purchases, get hold of your credit card companies to reverse them. That’s the only way this developer will listen. They should be using in-app purchasing through Apple like everyone else. Sure, they don’t want to pay the fees but there’s a reason the market exists - to give reassurance to the customers.

Can’t log into my account. I bought the app and $30 worth of packs. It worked fine and was worth the money for 1 week and now every time I try to login to the app it stats can’t find a purchase or a subscription But it lets me login to the account to see my transactions but not into the application. If someone from octane could help me I would continue to shop with y’all because it’s dope but worthlessness if I can’t use it

Nonfunctional. After paying 4$ click on install Resets and contstanly fails to install with errors coming up . So no sounds, uselsss… ipad pro 10.5 ios 15

Fix the crashing. Fix the crashing when when you try to use it as plugin in garage band or whatever daw you working in that’s the only set back with the app please fix that or update the software so where it crash

DO NOT BUY!. This app has no good intentions for your music projects! It has an expensive iap system that makes you pay for pack that freeze the whole app when u try to load them. They don’t respond to emails and have yet to offer an update to fix its issues. This had the potential to be a very powerful and useful tool….now it’s just a garbage cash grab app. Save your money.

What’s up with recording. I got the app put my login info in but now I do not see how to start recording. Can someone help?

No mention of external payment or subscription in description.. App didn't have a price, so I read through the description and looked for IAP pricing... nothing. So i gave it a shot. Open the app to find a login/signup page. Looked at the signup, they want $3.99/month for an audio plugin. No idea if this is a scam, but certainly feels like it. Transparency goes a long way... this developer really needs to be clear in the description how their external pricing model works.

The baddest thing ever.. This thing never even lets me sign in! Every time my mom tries to make an account, it says the page is not found. I’m not rating it 5 star until this bug is fixed.
