Can’t log in to my site.. Can’t log into my site.

So well designed. I love things that work and are aesthetically pleasing. This app is one of them. It’s so clean and well designed, easy to use, customizable. I don’t usually leave reviews but I love it so much I wanted to share! It made checking Stats for my blog so much easier.

Glitchy. Freezes up when I’m trying to edit a page, and a window appears essentially stating, “We know, but give it a minute and it’s all good.” But the only way to unfreeze the freeze is to delete and reinstall the app. This happened twice. After the third time, I reinstalled the familiar blue (old) Wordpress app. To the techies at Wordpress, let us know pls if someone fixes the glitch

Poorly thought out. App can’t located my Wordpress blog and the Wordpress app only opens the Jetpack notice screen, then freezes. I’m on the verge of flushing the whole blog and starting over elsewhere.

I can’t access any functions. Comments won’t load. All the other menu options take me back to the login and I’m stuck in an endless loop of inaccess as others have said. Very disappointed. Going back to Wordpress app.

Transfer won’t work. Since Jetpack stats are leaving the Wordpress app I had to download this. The app offered to automatically transfer my data from the Wordpress app … and it failed in trying multiple times. I guess I’ll get around to doing it manually since the app can’t do what it says it can. Thanks.

What a Relief!!!. I have been writing on WordPress for nearly 10 years. I love the options they provide to a paid blogger. What I haven’t loved; however,Is there bugs in the updates, changes in their formats, taking blogging options out of the app,Automatically switching me from the app to the website. The issues have only increased since I began. Your app has been flawless. It’s so easy to get on and find everything. I absolutely love the daily prompt right there in front. When you open up the app it’s clean it’s user-friendly. It’s mobile friendly. I just absolutely love it. Thank you so much.

iPhone widget stats. I can’t seem to find a way to change the stats on my Jetpack iPhone widget from “all time views” to just “today’s views” as I had it on the WordPress app.

Ugh… bad! Just unacceptable. When I asked to see my site, it will take me there, and I can see it. However, when I asked to see my stats, I get caught in an endless loop of back-and-forth, which never takes me to the stats only signing in on email over and over again. Unacceptable.

Why Jetpack?. I really don’t understand why we have Jetpack when Wordpress was great and basically identical. The disgusting green color really is off-putting and the whole premise is the same as Wordpress. I would have LOVED to not have to deal with this new app. And just don’t get why all the features moved to Jetpack? Everything I used in Wordpress I could use here. It’s the exact same - just a different color and name. So why??? The only reason it’s getting 3 stars is because I am being able to use the same format as Wordpress and I liked the original Wordpress. But this was an annoying move that felt superfluous.

RIP, WordPress. Watch. Soon all of WordPress will be rebranded Jetpack. This will make official what bloggers have felt coming for years. Bloggers were only a stepping stone for Jetpack, Inc. This company clearly no longer cares at all about writers or writing. It has pivoted away from writers to a more lucrative user segment. It used us, and is now moving on. This is why the text editor is filled with bugs, which have persisted and accumulated over the years. This is why block editing is now non-optional despite being an unhelpful distraction for writers. Jetpack Inc has allowed the deterioration of the writing experience to happen because their priorities are elsewhere.

Difference between this and main WordPress app?. Not sure what the difference is between this and the main WordPress app. They seem functionally identical and both notify me of the same events. Why have both?

Jetpack app not synced to wordpress. I was editing a post draft from the jetpack app on my ipad. Later, I finished the edits on wordpress on my PC and published it. The Jetpack app does not recognize the newly published post, and still has a draft with “local changes” of the previously edited version. The jetpack app on the iPhone does recognize the published post. This renders the Jetpack app as useless for me. I prefer the wordpress app that always synced with edits made from PC.

Transfer doesn’t work. Annoyed that I’m being forced to switch over to a new app for no reason and the auto data transfer doesn’t even work - just crashes both apps every time I try.

Crashes a Lot. Switched from the old Wordpress app to this one and I actually like the old app better. Editing my page is a chore because the app freezes and crashes a lot. I’m hoping for improvements.

Does not work. I was forced to install this app as a Wordpress user. So far it does not work, so I can’t do much on my site through the Wordpress app that worked great up until today. This is a huge disappointment.

Website blogging is better. I have to agree with most people. I do not see all that much added to the app. And just like the other versions of the WP app—I think there were two or three—it is WAY EASIER to get all the functionality of blogging if you just do it online through a browser. I really don’t get what the deal is honestly. I pay to have a private domain and no ads. Sure would be nice to have an app that makes it easier to create on my iPhone when I want to do that. I do see the new “Stories” function. At least it is new to me. And not really all that useful for my purposes. Please quit acting like y’all created “the new thing” when the browser option is way better.

why is it green. it's so ugly dear god

APP ISSUES. Like others are saying it’s extremely painful trying to edit your pages/posts as it either takes FOREVER to update or the app will just repeatedly crash on you. Getting timeout errors when uploading media onto pages/posts. I’m at the point where I’ll deal with the hassle and go elsewhere rather than deal with this. I bought and paid for a domain & hosting for the last 4 years only to now have this thrown at me with a forced app switch! PLEASE FIX THE BUGS 😩

Won’t Work. One star review because zero wasn’t an option. They claim my WP site would “automagically” migrate. It didn’t. The JP app asked for my website address. I gave it. It told me I needed to close WP. I did. Got the same message. It told me the address was shown on a bar at the top of the page on Safari. There was no bar. I wrote for support. I received none. Zero.

Forced obsolescence, no real benefit, horrible aesthetics. Stats were being stripped out of the old Wordpress app I had been using for years, so I was forced to migrate to this one. It offers no new functionality I have found yet. It changed everything to awful shade of neon green. That’s the only change I have seen. If I could change it to another color I’d keep it, but I don’t think you can. Forced obsolescence is bad enough without locking users in to a horrible color scheme. I’ll go back to the web interface.

Rather write than dub with it. Tried the app. It couldn’t find my site. Tried the help. Seemed pretty complicated. I’d rather use my time writing than learning something that may not add value to my life.

Questions!!!. Why is there no stat’s widget like the WordPress app had??? Why is automatic sharing to twitter now disconnected??? Why don’t post updates appear in the app reader???

Improvements that Change the World. Jetpack has introduced so many nuances for improvements that seeing them all this early in the game is nearly impossible. So far, it’s incredible, but I’m excited to learn more.

Meh. Two thumbs down

Why?. This app is essentially the same as the Wordpress app, except arranged in a worse way. Why not just revamp the original app instead of forcing me to switch to this app? Squarespace is sounding like a better option for my sites going forward.

Syncing is incredibly slow. Syncing in this app between the actual desktop site is slow. I published a post and it takes a couple of hours to show up as published on the app, I am not sure why. There is also an issue with syncing drafts when done via the site.

Doesn’t work. Every time I try to connect it to my Wordpress all the latter simply crashes

This is stupid and I don’t like it.. I run a Wordpress site, not a Jetpack site. I pay for Wordpress hosting, not Jetpack. Having an entirely different app with a different name that does nearly the exact same thing is confusing and bad branding. On top of that, the requirement to use this app removes functionality. This is incredibly stupid. I hope whoever’s in charge realizes the massive blunder they’ve made and fixes this.

Can’t add Facebook. I tried to add Facebook on sharing but it won’t let me.

Let me change the color!!!!. So I used the Wordpress app a lot, and this app has apparently replaced the original. Info appears to be the same and is useful, I would give it five stars but the colors now are awful! That mossy green is just not easy on the eye, I want to return to the old blue color which was much better. This color looks like a pool desperately in need of chlorine tablets!

Easy migration. I was expecting the migration from the WordPress app to have some issues but it was very easy and the sign-in requests are automatically sent to the new app.

GREEN Version of BLUE WordPress app. I do not see any difference between this Jetpack app and WordPress app. Basically, if you have jetpack account both do same. Unless, something i find different later. Both app needs wordpress.com account. Both have same UI/UX with of-course different colours.

Worst app, doesn’t absorb updates, erases work. This app was great in the beginning for just being able to upload pictures to what I had already written through my website on my laptop, but it nowhere near communicates with the work that’s already been completed. It has in fact erased a lot of work I’ve done on the laptop.

Traffic graph missing in day view. Overall I enjoy the app and use it frequently. I don’t like that the newest version changed the stats so that the day view no longer has a graph showing the traffic over previous days, I found that feature quite useful. Please bring it back.

Amazing. Can get so much done just on my phone

Stats update is horrible. I normally don’t write reviews but I don’t like the new update and how they changed the stats interface. Can’t even see daily stats properly.

So glitchy :(. I enjoy Wordpress as a platform but absolutely detest the app. I’m a long distance cycle tourist so only have access to the mobile version and I can barely make it through 5 minutes of writing without a glitch. The app freezes and crashes constantly and working with it is like pulling teeth. Once my annual subscription is up, I’ll see whether the app has improved enough to continue on with Wordpress. Please please do better!

Poor support. Can’t switch to the new Jetpack app. Very frustrating keeps going in circles

Unusable: No Other Words to Describe It. Unusable. There are no other words to describe it. The Jetpack app opens and sporadically crashes, regardless of how many times the app is reinstalled, how many cache flushes are performed, how many hard resets are performed for the device etc. This has been ongoing for months! I would think that the worlds largest Internet platform would have fixed it the first day, right?! The only way I can access WordPress statistics is by logging in from a desktop or laptop. This issue is really dumb because WordPress statistics worked flawlessly before within the native WordPress app. Thank you to the WordPress team for “fixing” something that was already great to “make it better” but in actuality making it way worse. It’s not like any of us professional writers need to look at our statistics anyways 🤦🏻‍♂️

Syncing issues. The transition to Jetpack was smooth; however, I’ve been experiencing syncing issues. For example, I completed, edited and scheduled a post to be published on Sunday via Wordpress Web browser, but on the Jetpack mobile app it’s still showing as a draft and an outdated one. It’s a little annoying to look at even though I know that my post will publish since the most recent changes were done via the Web browser. I just wish it would sync to the mobile app properly.

Won’t open. The new update doesn’t even allow me to open the app. It just crashes.

Forced to Use App. After years of using Wordpress for multiple sites I now not only have to now use two separate apps, but now I have to change every single one of my passwords on all of my sites in order to use the app? When Jetpack is supposed to be helpful for those of us who manage multiple sites, but so far this is a very disappointing experience.

Connection, archive and timing out issues. I love the app, but for some reason the connection to the internet doesn't always hold and I can not access posts before a certain time period. I have 4 blogs I publish and it is rather important that I have access to any and all archived posts, in order to correct any mistakes which I hadn't noticed and to read, in order to waste time. Please do something about this if you want as many people to download the app in the future.doesn't always

Can’t post. So frustrating. Trying to post numerous times. App is flashing so I can’t tap on anything. Can’t save. Can’t exit. Very annoying.

Useless. First, the WordPress app removes notifications and tells you to go to the Jetpack app, then you go to the Jetpack app and need to re-sign in every time you open it, and it doesn’t load any previous posts or drafts. It would take effort to make this app more useless. Please put notifications back into the wonderful WordPress app and don’t force us to use this. Please!

Worked well until two days ago. Since two days ago, I’m unable to publish immediately. Instead, every post goes to scheduled, even though I’m not selecting that. Please fix asap

Schedule doesn't work. Posts scheduled in the app never go live. Pretty frustrating stuff.

Keeps crashing. Trying to do simple page editing and it keeps crashing about 75% of the time. ‘Frustrating’ is putting it lightly.

Slow and inconsistent. Maybe it’s iPhones, but it has never run all that well. It refuses to load often.

No support for multiple WP accounts. It’s a terrible that in 2023 an app does not offer support for multiple accounts! People who have 2 or more Wordpress.com accounts cannot use it unless they login and logout from the app for each account. If you want to us to use, implement logical solutions for users like other apps on the market. Thanks.

Amazing. Allows me to view website stats on the go

Lost my stats !. The main reason I switched over for stats . Thanks for screwing that up . Worst migration experience.

Je vois ça écrit , dans l’entourage de wordpress. C’est quoi ? Ca sert à quoi ? Wordpress c’est une antiquité qui est un mal de tête ! Un exemple parfait de logiciel médiocre! Une catastrophe

Horrible. I wish they’d go back to the Wordpress app. Jetpack crashes constantly, won’t upload photos properly, and I need to delete and reinstall the app almost every day.

Keeps crashing!!. The current version of the app keeps crashing when I try adding a featured stock photo already in my WordPress media library. Please fix this ASAP!

The Old Stats Screens Were Better. Wordpress is awesome but the Jetpack app is no replacement. It’s actually rather frustrating to use, especially given the constant tinkering changes to the app. For example, the new changes to the site stats screens are not an improvement, but actually make it harder to get a sense of how your site is doing over time. The old stats screens were better and easier to get a long term snapshot. I wish the developers would stop making constant changes that do not add value to the user experience.

No point. This app is identical to Wordpress. I don’t see the point to this

Keeps Crashing. The jet pack app is frozen so I removed the app and reloaded it in the App Store and now it just crashes every time I try to open it. Very frustrating ready to go back to WordPress…such a disappointment.

Jetpack a quality Wordpress upgrade?. Jetpack is fine. Yes fine. Perfect? Absolutely not. The problems are simple. 1.Jetpack is buggy, particularly the mobile experience. When you cross edit posts on different platforms it feels like the program struggles to maintain format. Jumping from a laptop to a phone I have caused myself hours of work with improper or changing formats. 2. The block editor format. The biggest change from Wordpress is the writing formatter. Jetpack uses block format where each block or placeholder spot like a written paragraph, image placement or video spot is separated into distinct blocks. This sounds great. The ability to individually edit a block sounds great until you see the customization limits on the free version is painful and awkward at times. The traditional editor on Wordpress offered me more flexibility to directly influence the way my page looked. In Jetpack the format looks like you are filling in the blanks or doing a book report in school with careful breaks between content. 3. Laggy. The editing or simple content posting can be downright slow or even buggy. I have lost content in the upload process and recovery options are painful. That’s a picky review.. but overall if you want to do a basic blog post you can do it with a degree of ease and most importantly …the free version is very serviceable. I’ll even recommend it . You do NOT need to pay for this service. If you are creative enough you can work around the flaws and still produce a quality.. and FREE product. One that note alone… Jetpack is FINE.

Fails to upload drafts a lot and upload the blog. It takes several tries to update the draft and to upload the blog. It is alarming that it is taking this amount of effort to get it shared. Please look into your app and fix the bugs.

Please fix this App. The more updates, it gets worse and worse… With the last update: -I can no longer post photos in my gallery - I can no longer change the order of my photos in the gallery - I have to remove and reload the app to unfreeze constantly (many times a day) - It's a nightmare on iOS (iPad, iPhone) All my updates are done, my devices are recent, only your App is not working

why is it green. it's so ugly dear god

Crash. Being as app support won’t let me talk to a real person to solve my problem, let’s see if this works. Since the update (approximately 7-15-23) the app has been crashing and not allowing me to enter. Everything says this version is compatible with my phone. I try to open the app and it hangs for about 15 seconds and then closes on its own. It gets a one star review until this issue is resolved. 7-18-23 Finally able to use app. Don’t know what changed. Just glitchy for a couple of days. Give it 4 stars because i like Wordpress better. But Wordpress doesn’t work now. 7-24-23 App is crashing without opening up. Wordpress never had this type of problem. ——————- The app keeps crashing. Won’t even open up. Can’t get ahold of app support through the app, or through support from here in the store. Who ya supposed to talk to? This is working worse than anything else I’ve used. Wordpress never did this! 8-1-23

Questions!!!. Why is there no stat’s widget like the WordPress app had??? Why is automatic sharing to twitter now disconnected??? Why don’t post updates appear in the app reader???

Can’t log in to my site.. Can’t log into my site.

More jumping thru hoops. Now I have to use two apps to view my web sites’ particulars. One to view stats, and another to post stuff to my sites. What a load of crap!!! This might be acceptable to some users, but count me out. On top of that, just got renewed for $499 for one of my sites weeks before the due date. Wordpress.com is such a ripoff.

WTF⁉️. WTF⁉️ This is just stupid I wish I had more hands so I could this mess 4 thumbs down 👎🏽 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 I just write on Notion & can share there for now so I can still create. I have been upset with Wordpress for quite a long time & I think I might be out. I feel like Wordpress has been out on Me again for a long time.

Meh. Two thumbs down

App imstallation. Unable to i install the application. It was only allowing sign up mot sign in

statistics. the statistics are still not visible despite the update

Muddy, wrong-headed corporate-think strikes again. So the WordPress app no longer supports WordPress? “To do WordPress use the Jetpack app!” Well, then why is it called Jetpack and not WordPress? I’m going to give this a one star review [REVIEWER NOTE: I have since increased my review to two stars because I eventually received a response to my review, albeit a dissatisfying one), even though I have yet to really use it. I may return and give it a five star review, who knows, but the way this transition has been handled is incredibly fishy and I don’t trust it one bit. Why the sleight of hand? Sounds like WordPress was bought out by some third-party [REVIEWER NOTE: I later found out that this is incorrect. Jetpack is a WordPress plug-in that handles stats and notifications] that probably owns many other things and once you transfer your information and content over it now become subject to some other contract of ownership or something? [COMMENT REMOVED] I have no idea what this is and I don’t appreciate having to do a mountain of research just to decide whether or not I feel transferring things over. I remain dubious about the timing, reasoning, and real purpose behind this change after receiving the following reply to my review: "We appreciate you sharing your concerns and assure you this change isn’t due to a third-party buyout. Your data will not change hands. Jetpack, an Automattic product, has always powered features like stats and notifications. Part of our goal is to make it clearer that these features are separate from WordPress’ core software. If you have more questions, we’d be happy to discuss further!" Personally, I use WordPress to do what WordPress does - to publish (“Press” in the printing/publishing sense) my writing (“Word”… you know, as in “language”) and not to “manage stats and notifications”. What am I? An accountant?! Surely they must realize that stats and notifications are but a very small part of WordPress, though I don’t use such features, and definitely NOT what people who engage with WordPress are really here to do (i.e, WRITE and PUBLISH), so why the heck would I use an application branded for a small, technical part and not an application branded for its core functionality?
