Food is great, app is the worst. I order from here at least once a week, but the app and website make me want to scream. There is nothing user friendly about it with the exception of modifying the particular food item you’re about to add to your bag. You also can’t use both a gift card and credit/debit card, so you have to reload to be able to use the remainder of a card. And using rewards is a pain. I prefer paying a little extra and using DoorDash for the convenience and better interface.

Love the food, when they get it right.. I love the healthier options at CS but the last 5 times I’ve ordered something has gone wrong. They usually leave something out or take super long to prepare it. This last time I ordered through the app for curb pick up and called when I got there to have it brought out, they said it would be right out and 20 min later I still hadn’t seen my order so I went in and it was just sitting on the counter. When I asked employee about it she just said “oh sorry bout that!” Disappointing and I even left a tip when I placed the order. 🤦‍♀️

Way too many PII requested. Way too many sensitive Personal Identification Information requested into order to sign up for app. Identity theft waiting to happen for a not so secure app. Why do you need my name, do , address, gender to order a Sandwich? Plus app does not accept any payment app, you need to enter CC details. You dont need all that data to sell us a sandwich unless you are harvesting personal info to sell. Fix it please!

More Convenience to Just Feel Good!. So excited for it to be easier for me to get my feel good food from my favorite Shop, and the CHOPS rewards are already rewarding me for my regular visits. Rewarding me for ordering food I love while making it more convenient for me to do so. How can I complain?!

Tasty & healthy!. It’s nice to have a healthy restaurant around that provides good quality food, AND it is delicious! My order is never messed up, and very allergy friendly!

Great food, annoying app. I had to delete my account and re-register because the app wouldn’t let me delete a credit card that had expire nor would it let me add a new card. Each time I tried it either reverted back to the old expiration date or said there was an internal error.

Overall great experience just one. Much cheaper and faster than Postmates for delivery! Seems to have most everything on the app, but there are a few glaring updates that need to be made. There is no way to customize an order on the app. For example, I don’t like salad dressing. When I click “remove salad dressing” it forces you to pick a substitute dressing and there is no button for “no dressing.” Another example is in the store if I want to swap the the base of a salad from arugula to kale I can do it easily. But on the app there is no option to swap. Overall a decent app but hope they make some updates this year

Don’t bother. Installed the app on my phone and after attempting to figure out how to use it, it was useless. The order feature said meal would be ready within 10 min, turns out it was 30 min instead. Complete garbage.

I don’t always write reviews but when i do..... I just started eating the food from this restaurant and i am IN LOVE 😍 these are whole healthy foods thoughtfully assembled to get in my belly 🤤 yum

Fantastic food, horrendous app. Love their food but everything about the app is a nightmare. It’s a bug-ridden, poorly designed, website-as-an-app. Save yourself the trouble and order online via their website instead. It’s the same experience but with fewer bugs 🐛

Great app!. Placed my lunch order from home before work. I had the ability to change up and add or remove anything on my salad. It was on the counter waiting for me when I arrived. Staff at PV location is top notch!!

Yummmmm!!!. Best food, especially since I have Celiac, easy ordering & they always get it right! My number one for food delivery!!!

Forget Postmates!!!. Very easy to navigate through the app. Every time an order is placed thru this app you earn rewards for free menu items! Also, soooo worth the $3 total charge for delivery...with zero hidden fees, or getting overcharged on items if you substitute or add-on. The delivery drivers are much for presentable, and much faster to delivery. Forget about using Postmates, and have all restaurants follow Chop Shop’s lead!

Wonderful!. I am so happy Original ChopShop is delivering. The app is good and pretty easy to get started. Much cheaper than ordering through another app. The best part is that the food is always wonderful!

App No Longer Allows Accurate Customization. Food is great but the app was updated a few months back and customization of protein bowls is no longer accurate. Each protein bowl includes several core ingredients that can be removed/modified. The app doesn’t tell you these ingredients are included, nor does it let you remove them. This used to be possible in the app, but this functionality was removed. Please fix this oversight.

Great food, not always accurate.. Love chop shop love the food, the only problem I have is when I try to customize something it never comes out right, whether I order through the website, 3rd party app or, as I just discovered, their own app. For example, when I try to change the dressing for a salad and want to add extra of that dressing, I end up with one of the dressing I changed too and one of the original dressing the salad came with. It’s a small thing but it’s beyond frustrating. I’ll probably just stick to calling in for pick up. Still great food though.

Poor UX/UI. Please get a ux designer for this app…. Multi step sign up???…. Character count doesn’t display??? I thought the Home Screen had two CTAs that you tap on but I was wrong…..No error messages anywhere until you hit submit…. I actually paid more to have DD deliver to me than use this app….

A Gem and a Keeper. Quality. Fresh. Variety. Fair pricing. Best takeout restaurant chain in Phoenix, AZ. Some items leave more to be desired as far as selection, options and add ons. But outstanding job and record considering every other non fine dining restaurant. Keep Going and All the Best.

I love ChopShop but the App is horrible. The app is difficult to use. There is no purchase history, so if you order something new and like it, good luck remembering it. You can save an order for future use, but can’t make a change to that saved order. Also during checkout they add a tip without telling you and without making it very clear - seems like this was more of a priority than basic order history. The tip is ridiculous because their employees literally just pack the order and hand it to you when you go to pick it up - they don’t even have to take the order, what do they need a tip for? I should be getting a tip for having to use this complex app!

Promotion fail. Running a promotion asking for people to load funds onto the app and then not allowing them to be spent thru online ordering is a fail. Good food and friendly staff at my local location, but app still needs some work.

Many UX bugs and improvements needed. This app struggles with not having an obvious login user experience, also not retaining past orders, and last names and saved, as well as not retain in credit card information from purchase to purchase. Please fix!

Like the Food, not the app. A colleague of mine gave me a gift card that I loaded onto this app. I was able to use most of the money. I have approximately $9.50ish of the gift card left on my app but unable to use towards orders greater then the balance. I keep getting an error making me remove the gift card so I can place my order. I tried to use the balance on the website as well but same issue. I did contact the company but they stated there is nothing they can do. Seems like something that should be figured out instead of just leaving it.

Inconvenient. It took forever to setup an account. Then it allows me to sign in with my Apple ID but it’s NOT compatible with Apple Pay?!?! Plus it won’t let me copy and paste my cc information into it so trying to do this on my phone is a big hassle.

Irritating app. What a nightmare of an app just to order food. Stop asking for my gender and personal information just to sign up. AUTOMATICALLY ADDING A TIP???? I’m so fatigued from everyone asking for a tip. I’m picking up my own food and you automatically charged me for a tip to the crew, not even asking anymore. Took me 20 minutes just to set the app up to order. Take notes from chipotle & Starbucks’ apps. The ease of use is incredible on theirs.

The best!!!. ChopShop has quickly become my favorite place to order from and are so accommodating to all my dietary restrictions such as gluten and dairy. Their app makes it so easy to order and their delivery is quick!! I use to always use DoorDash but after getting delivery directly through ChopShop, I will never go back to DoorDash again. The delivery drivers are very friendly, quick, and seem to actually care. Not to mention you get rewards everytime you order directly through their app which gets you free food! 10/10 would recommend, amazing job ChopShop!

Great app! Not buggy with good features. I love the Chop Shop app. It’s so easy to use - and because of it I order from Chop Shop more often than other places. Restaurant apps are often buggy and lack good design. This one is not that way. It’s aesthetically pleasing, makes ordering a breeze and it’s easy to customize my food.

Great app if a little dated. The app is so easy to use and the icons are very cute. I’ve never had an order be wrong or late. It does seem to be a little old and dated but I don’t think that really matters for a restaurant app. Love ChopShop!

Money charged without ordering. Why was my card charged for 50 cents just for adding the card on the account. I want that refund. I want to delete my stored card on account since I had to add my card details again so there's no point adding it. Contact us in your app is pointless it keeps saying sorry couldn't send your message.

FIX THE APP!. The App is not user friendly, I don’t know if it’s glitchy or buggy or what. I create an account, but it doesn’t log me in, I try signing in through FB, but that doesn’t work either. I love ChopShop, but the App is just useless and unmanageable. Please fix it.

The app and the food are fantastic.. Love the ChopShop- consistently good and right priced. The App makes it easy to order a pickup. Thank you.

Please hire a UX designer. The app was frustrating to the point where I almost completely gave up and went somewhere else. A place as big as Chop Shop should have an app that’s easier to use than this — it’s clear that user experience was put on the back burner

Only a 4 today.. I love this place. Easy to order on the app & the food is fresh, tasty & well-priced. So 5 stars overall but 3 for today. My facelift juice was awful! Sour like it had too much lemon & pineapple & someone forgot the carrots. It didn’t look right either. Yellow instead of orange. However I will continue to eat here unless something becomes consistently bad.

No ApplePay. I was very disappointed when I tried to order using the app and ApplePay was not an option. For me this is a dealbreaker. Also, why force me to enter my address when creating an account and then not offer that address for delivery??

Great store! Great service! Great food!. We love this place. All the food is so healthy and everything is made fresh when you order! All the staff is very friendly and very helpful!

I love this place!. I live 2 minutes from this place & it has become my go-to every morning. I love the staff in the Downtown Chandler location & now that they have this app. I am loving the easy ordering & rewards that come along with it!

Missing items in delivery. This is my favorite place to order from when I’m busy and need delivery. The food is amazing. However, my order only comes complete half the time. The last two orders were missing half my delivery. They are good about refunding the missing items. However, I just paid delivery fees, tip, and service fees for a full meal and only received a salad. When I ask for the rest of my order I have been told to place another order, meaning I can pay delivery fees twice to get my meal. I have tried two different locations and both have had issues with delivery. If you want people to use your app to order, the delivery should come complete for all the added fees we are paying.

One of the worst ordering apps. Navigation is extremely poor and you don’t know if anything was actually applied. Try adding two options? It moves on automatically after only selecting one, then go back and nothing is selected. What’s the point if you can’t even make an order.

Chop shop!. This company is so feel good vibes. Local and amazing. Love that they put so much effort into the app. So many times the restaurant apps are not intuitive or easy to use. Chop Shop nailed it with their app.

Tip automatically added. I love the food and app is fine except that a 15% tip on carry out is added every time automatically. I have to go out of my way to remove tip or change the tip. An option should be given to add tip, it shouldn’t be expected. If I hit place order too quickly then I’ve been charged 15% tip for me to pull up to a drive through window and pick up my food.

So complicated I ended up ordering elsewhere. All I wanted was to order two sandwiches for pickup. The ordering system on their website and app are horrible and require a full registration with email, address and phone number. I just wanted two sandwiches, pay for them and part our ways. I ended up getting food from elsewhere purely based on this experience.

Chop house addict. I love this place. I will drive 30 min just to eat here. You get a lot for your money. All the product are fresh and firm. Especially the tomatoes. I hate soft tomatoes. I only wish they would offer just veggie bowl. Or cut the price because if you had meat it extra. So if they keep the meat. It should be subtracted.

Quickly a favorite. Love this new healthy place to get food from in Southlake. Orders are ready quickly and food is great. Have ordered 3 or 4 times and so far so good.

app a bit laggy + out of date. the menu on the app is hard to scroll on, plus the seasonal lemonade still says blood orange ginger when right now we have strawberry ginger (i work here ✌️) besides that it works pretty well and i like that you automatically get $20 as a reward once reaching 400 points

app needs a couple updates. LOVE og chopshop!! for the app a couple of helpful things would be: *display the FULL address, suite, building name for the 3rd party deliverer (only the street address gets printed) *add a place for a tip (pick up and delivery!)

Highly reccomend. the apo makes ordering so much easier and you win rewards so it makes it so much more worth it!! if i were you i would download asap!!

Don’t upload a gift card to the app. This app is flawed so that when you upload a gift card to your account, you can’t use your account balance to pay for an order you want to place. Super frustrating as I had to pay for my delivery order from a credit card because of the poor functionality.

Favorite restaurant 🥰. I can count on them to help me when I’m counting my calories or have specific needs for my health. Always friendly!

Not user friendly. This app is not user friendly at all. Please update it. The sign in process is not easy. The homepage has photos for things that should be buttons (User experience 101). The forgot password process is not friendly. Please fix the issues because I love this restaurant

Management. The management and service at the Park/Preston store in Plano is excellent-in particular Amanda who is the assistant manager. I will give a 5⭐️ review when the app allows me to remove cheese from the raw salad. Right now if you click remove cheese, you still have to choose a different cheese rather than no cheese at all. Food is great but service is terrible. Took more than 20 min after time salad was promised. Not an issue but should state timing more accurately.

Restaurant is great, the app is not. By default the people taking your order don’t realize that you’re paying with the app. You have to explicitly say so and then they have to re-scan your code and process your order. Adding funds to the app is difficult; clicking through via the email is to another site with a strange domain name. Also the restaurants won’t back-scan your rewards; you better have the app downloaded and your account registered before you get in line, it takes at least 5-10 minutes to go through all of the hoops. Not sure if worth it.

Healthy and Tasty Food. My favorite is the spicy Korean steak bowl.

Need payment type for app funds. Can’t use funds loaded to the app for app purchases. Ridiculous

Default 20% tip on pickup orders is ridiculous. Remove the 20% default tip on pickup orders. Ridiculous.

Ordering. No place to modify the order, such as substitution of spinach for lettuce

Payment issues. I loaded money onto the app and I can only use it when I’m in the store and place an order. When I order in the app for pick up I have to use my CC and can’t use the funds I have “loaded”. Smh

Crashes immediately. I’ve tried reinstalling the app, but it just crashes immediately

Terrible app. I like the food. The app is terrible as it only has 1/3 of the menu and they don’t usually make the order right off of app orders. Not user friendly at att. Please add the full menu to the app!

Fail on Danish. Ordered a Danish Chop at the Ellsworth Loop store on Sunday afternoon. Love this salad but this order was lettuce w about 3 small pieces of blue cheese, 3 thinly sliced pear pieces and 1 piece of date w a 1/2 c of dressing…what happened??

What’s going on?. App use to be great but now for about a month it will not let me login. It keeps sending back an error messages although my account is correct and I’m able to order online.

Tip included on app. Just beware that a tip is added to your order. I tip, but I don’t like tipping without my knowledge. 😃

Sneaky automatic tip?!?!. Recently, ChopShop snuck in an automatic tip on takeout orders. I’ve already been duped by it twice because I’m not used to it being there. Not cool. Good service is the way to receive a tip, not with trickery.

Not a great app. A lot doesn’t pre-fill for you. Dates are difficult to get precise with spin. Won’t take Apple Pay. Just cumbersome.

Authentication broken. I cant reset password because account doesn’t exist for my email. Yet I can’t create account because account already exists for my email.

App is garbage. Order was never picked up by third party. No notifications. Had to call the store twice just to end up getting a refund and no food. Never again.

App worst ever. Love the shop but app super awkward to use and staff always confused. And don’t even bother trying to get points if you need to add later. They ask you a million questions about your order.

App. This app is honestly so bad. The redeem rewards functionality steals your points, DO NOT USE! The location should be selected for me. I shouldn’t have to pick one everytime. The credit card entering tool (with scan) does not work ever, always have to manually enter in the numbers. And the numeric keyboard is removed when typing in your zip code (goes back to alpha$ When you give feedback in the app, the keyboard blocks the text entry field so you can’t see what is being typed. As a mobile app PM, I can confidently say this all needs some huge improvements! Food and service in store is good.

No respect for privacy. I opened the app and proceeded to create a login with Apple. It advances to a page where you are REQUIRED to fill in your email address, phone number and home address. Obviously, they’re making money on the backend by selling your users’ data. 😡No thanks!

Glitchy app. App is very glitchy

Poorly designed. You can’t use Apple Pay, you cannot track your order, and the stores have little to no experience on how curbside delivery works. Too bad for a restaurant with such good food. 😕

Crashes on launch.. App crashes on launch, deleted and re-installed, still crashes.

Horrible app. Impossible to order, ongoing error messages, won’t let you proceed without opting into marking emails.

App glitches. App needs to be updated- I can’t use my balance I’ve loaded into the app to pay for my app/online pick up/delivery orders. Super frustrating!
