The Recipe Box. I love this App. It's easy to use. Looking up and importing new recipes is a breeze. I use this app all the time. Currently I’m having trouble printed a selected recipe. But when I select PRINT, the recipe disappears. I then have to close the app and try again.

Needs Fixing-PLEASE - 1/2 ⭐️Rating Honestly. ⚠️Don’t waste your time on this until it’s fixed! I loved this app when I first downloaded it several years ago and happily rated it 5 ⭐️'s. Now, unfortunately, you cannot CONTACT the developer via their link. I’ve made plenty of “Bug Reports” but it’s obvious that’s now a waste of time. The IMPORT feature and the COPY feature are not working well at all. The Import I've always found temperamental but the Copy feature at least allowed me to capture the recipe. Now, can’t do that at all :( When copying, via the Add(+)/Search Recipe feature, a red check appears denoting that the Ingredients, Directions, etc have been copied to your recipe, only to find once this tedious step by step process has been completed the recipe you thought was saved is not there at all-frustrating and a waste of time. It’s just beyond frustrating now as don’t know what to do? Do I now switch APPS and retype all the recipes already saved on this APP? Kathleen, fix, this APP please. I have too many recipes in my Recipe Box to do this all over again. This was a really great APP when it worked. Would love to have it functional again-VERY VERY SOON.

Good but…. I love this app because I can mark off the ingredients as I put them in. Then when I get interrupted and go back to the recipe, I know exactly what I’ve already put in. Do wish there was a better way to sync the recipes between my phone and iPads. It should sync new recipes automatically.

Just what the doctor ordered. Only problem is the shopping list, I wish you could add non recipe items. The way I got around this was I made a "recipe" called "shopping list" that I put other items in. Also, some of auto-import recipe does not work. And I wish you could share the shopping list automatically (if two people are shopping, checking off items would be done on all shared lists). But all in all, just what the doctor ordered

Recipe Link feature doesn’t work anymore.. I’ve used this app for several years now on both my iPad and IPhone. Over time, the Recipe Link feature has become “hit or miss” about connecting. Now, for the past several months, my iPhone won’t connect to any other devices with the Recipe Link feature making it difficult to keep my recipes synced. I also liked that I always have a back up if something happens to either device. If you only want your recipes on one device, and don’t mind doing occasional backups to a PC, this is great. Otherwise, maybe there’s something better out there. Using iCloud to sync between devices, maybe?

Needs work…. I’ve been using this recipe app on my iPad for several years. I used to love it. I could use the recipe link and share the recipes with my iPhone. Unfortunately that’s not the case anymore. The to go app is not compatible using the recipe link with the recipe box app that’s on my iPad. Please make it compatible. The whole idea was being able to have all of my recipes on my iPhone when I’m at the grocery store and not have to drag along my iPad. It once was a perfect app, but now it needs work. I hate to leave negative reviews but it once was the best.

Love this app!. It is quick and easy to import recipes from the web. I plan weekly menus by "bookmarking" them, which makes it easy for any member of my family to find and cook dinner. I can share family favorite recipes with my college aged daughter. You can capture one photo but sometimes I do wish I could add several for step by step preparation details. Nevertheless this app is used several times a week from meal planning to making a quick grocery list. Age 13 to non tech hubby can use it easily.

Two different apps. Not cool anymore. There are now two different versions of the Recipe Box and they don’t talk to each other. Use to load recipes into the Recipe Box on my iPad, which I preferred to use on the kitchen counter. Always exported recipes to my iPhone, so I could check the ingredients list while shopping. Then my phone decided to auto-update to Recipe Box To Go, and my iPad recipes decided that they could no longer interchange with my iphone. So there you have it, basically unusable for me. Got to go to another app, though don’t know where or how the heck I’m going export all those recipes to a different app.

Unreliable sharing.. The appeal of purchasing this app was to be able to share and receive recipes with family members. So far, 30 minutes and multiple, multiple resets/reboots of the apps and iOS devices just to get a working connection. It would've been faster to write them all down by hand. Be wary of any app whose tech support FAQ says 'we're only human!' Far better free options out there.

Appear to have stopped updating. Was good app now the developers appear to have stopped supporting it. The "instant import" feature no longer exists. Some weird bar at the bottom of the import feature doesn't work in any shape I can figure. The transfer feature between devices now has problems. They should declare that it's done and time for us to get our recipes out before a big crash.

Update to App doesn’t download phots. I’ve been using this app for many years. Although I couldn’t import a recipe, I was still happy with the app. With the most updated version, not only can’t I import, but I no longer can download a photo from my iphone photo library or take a photo. That’s extremely disappointing. Since this is a free app, I couldn’t even report this issue. The app only allows for reporting when it was purchased! Weird!! I would suggest looking for another app to replace this one if you like to have a photo of the recipe you’re about to cook/bake or the convenience of importing recipes (rather than manually cutting & pasting).

Useless now. I really liked this app way back when I purchased it for my iPhone and iPad. It was a bit wonky to use and get the hang of though. Then, after one of the major IOS updates, it deleted all of my recipes. Couldn't get the backup to restore. Then the developer quit updating the app. So, I haven't used it since. I haven't deleted the apps because I keep hoping the developer will come back. This is the reason I'm hesitant to pay for these types of apps. Too bad, because it was a nice app at one time.

Works great for me. I read of many problems in the reviews. I have not had these problems and I started on an iPad then included my first iPhone, changed my iPhone, installed every update on both devices and never have any or the problems I see reported elsewhere. I do occasionally see glitches in instant importing, but the the copy workaround always works.

Crashes when printing. This is my favorite recipe app, I’ve used it for years. The latest version causes the app to crash immediately when pressing the print button. Help!

Used to be great. It appears the developers no longer care about the app. It’s a shame as when it worked it was fantastic. Now none of the shortcut keyboard works (not having to type a”tap” or “diced” each time was great). You can still copy and past, get a grocer list, bookmark or email but the import feature-along with the other features that made app great- no longer work. Apple store should just delete the option. I paid for upgrade for things that don’t work now.

Syncing Devices. I love this app but there is one thing that makes it so frustrating, you devices don’t sync like most apps do. I’m always trying to figure out is in on my phone or iPad. The ways to share them are complicated and time consuming. Would be a 5 if the just were in sync.

Lost years of recipes.... I pretty much depend on this app for meal planning every week. It became increasingly buggy, but I still had all of my recipes, so I really didn’t mind. I recently upgraded phones and YEARS of recipes, even family recipes, are GONE. I am livid. Unless you want to accumulate years of awesome recipes only to have them disappear with no possible way of retrieving them and absolutely no developer support, I suggest not even bothering with this app.

When you get it to work it's great..... Very rarely works even with major websites. I have had this app for years on several devices. The import function never works and I can't even select and enter most of the time. I have an iPhone 7 so it is not my phone. I gave it two stars because on the rare occasion it is functional it is great. However not being able to save recipes between both my phone and iPad is another draw back. Needs a lot of work.

Good, but......... I love to use this when I'm cooking, but shortly after I started using it, the instant import completely stopped working. It also doesn't import well between devices. I just got a new iPhone and I wanted to import all my recipes to my phone, but it doesn't want to link at all, and when it does, the app crashes half way through the import.

A great app!. I’ve actually used this for years and it’s great! The only thing I would suggest is either a way to log in or at least be able to sync it to other devices. I entered all the recipes into my iPad version and when I went to visit family in another state, I was going to cook them a meal… only to find out that the recipe I’d planned wasn’t on my phone’s app. I can enter them manually, but it would be handy if it saved the entered recipes from one device to another somehow.

Add the option to add pictures to directions. Love this app. So much easier to use than other recipe apps. Only thing I would change is to have the option to add pictures in the directions tab.

Clunky app. I have used this app for years on my iPhone. For the most part, it works well except for clearing pantry items. I often find that they pop back up after I have cleared them. I can live with that, but what is really inconvenient is not being able to sync between my iPhone and my iPad. When I download the app onto my iPad, I was only able to get 80% of my recipes transferred. Not sure why some wouldn’t transfer. And when I add a new recipe to my iPad it doesn’t show up on my iPhone and vice versa. Would love to figure that out because I don’t want to have to take my iPad to the grocery store when buying ingredients. And, I prefer using my iPad when cooking so both devices need to sync.

Smart and easy. Very smart at setting out and then retrieving recipes. Easy to use and to copy and paste recipes. Occasionally ‘sticks’ and needs restarting and the automatic inputs stops working but this is a minor annoyance compared with the many advantages of the system.

No Support. I have been using this app for several years and it still seems to work OK, but some bugs are now appearing especially when searching for new recipes. The search window typing is white rather than black and is almost impossible to read. I have been unable to reach Support if it still exists. Looks as though the app has not been updated since 2015.

Love love love this app. I have used this app for years, maybe even a decade. Love it. Easy to enter my own recipes, and easy to save recipes from the web, and re-access the sites they came from.

2 apps. Please help. I have 2 different apps that don’t communicate. I have loved this app for years. I have put the new app on my iPad and can finally move recipes from my iphone, but the iPad app does not fill my iPad Pro screen. Please help with that. The old iPad app had a full screen and turned so nicely. Please please fix!!

Love the app BUT it needs to be updated for iOS. I was an early adopter of this app and have relied on it for many years on my iPad. I try to keep a copy of recipes on my phone for impromptu shopping lists but recently learned the recipe link function does not work with latest IOS. Seeing it hasn’t been updated in years, I hope this is not the beginning of the end for the viability of this app.

Love this App. Love the app. All my recipes are in and my family have copies in their Recipe Box. The only gripe is the link doesn’t always work well. Don’t think it’s user error.

Love having all my recipes BUT. When trying to clear items from the grocery/in the pantry list, they always manage to reload themselves back to the grocery/in the pantry list. When clearing the lists, items should stay deleted until you add them back. Some of the listed websites don't work. Kraft website crashes the app, you can't import from Betty Crocker or pillsbury...needs some updates to fix these issues.

Mixed thoughts. I’ve used Recipe Box for many years and love it. I thought this app would be a great way to pull up the ingredients list while at the store. My issue is that the name is the same and both Recipe Box apps appear on all 3 of my iPads. Which makes me nuts. Now the iPads don’t want won’t share recipes. The import export just doesn’t work.

Love this app!!!!. It had everything I was looking for. It looks like grandmas recipe card but with the convenience of technology. The only thing I wish for is I would like to have a galleria of pics for each recipe. This would help to add pics for the steps you take to make the dish or just to show off your work. But still going to use this a lot.

Good but not perfect. I love that I can find recipes on the web and automatically import them. And even if they can’t be automatically imported I can still easily cut and paste them into the various recipe sections. My only gripe is with sharing recipes via the Wi-Fi transfer to another device using the same app. It’s rather hit or miss. I always have to do multiple attempts to get it to work. Otherwise, this is my go to recipe app.

Problem with sharing between devices. Can’t seem to “share” between my devices. Usually it works but now when I click on “share”, it says “ready to receive”

Frustrated and upset. I have been using this app for several years and all of my very important recipes are stored in it. The link no longer works to transfer from my iPhone to/from IPad. Now when I try to use the shopping list the app crashes. I hate to have to get another app and re enter all of my recipes. I wish that the developer would update this app. Or give me an idea of how I can transfer my re pies to a new app.

Disappointed. I have used this application for several years on both iPhone and iPad and loved it. But now I cannot get the app to sync with each device as it used to and I cannot get it to import recipes that used to import. I would like to see this corrected.

Stopped being able to share recipes via Bluetooth link. I love the app for creating and organizing my recipes. I was able to share recipes easily with my kids via blue tooth but about a year and a half ago it stopped working. I sent multiple messages to the developer asking for help with no response.

Needs update or way to export recipes. Unlike some other recipe organizers, this app does not export in a format that can be used in newer/other apps. Since it looks like this app is now forgotten, it is unfortunate for all of us that paid for this and have amassed a large collection. The day will come soon that even this version will no longer work with a current iOS. Hopefully it is not forgotten. Some communication for the developers would be nice.

Used to be much better. I have used this app for years and have invested a lot of time to get all my recipes into the app. The last few years, more and more features have stopped working. The special keyboard stopped working when I upgraded to an iPad Pro. I can rarely get the wireless sync to work between my devices. The app does not show up as an option to save to iCloud on any of my devices. You can copy the sqlite file from one device to another manually through itunes, but you lose all the pictures. It would be nice if the iCloud backup worked and if there was a way to move the pictures between devices without using the very flaky wireless transfer. If you don’t need to move the recipes between devices, it works great. I still love the app for recipes. It is pretty easy to type in recipes or to copy them off the internet. But I want to easily transfer the recipes from my iPad to iPhone. It would also be nice if there was a way to view and enter the recipes from a computer.

Love the APP but needs to be updated and fixed (UPDATE). NEW REVISED iOS 15 VERSION FIXES ISSUES: NOW REALLY LOVE APP AGAIN. CANT WAIT FOR THE IPAD VERSION TO FIX LINK. OLD REVIEW: Love this app. Use for all my recipes. Instant import never works. Should be deleted. But the thing that is really driving me crazy is not being able anymore to link with my iPad and wife via Bluetooth. This was great feature but hasn’t worked for year. No bug reports get responded to. I think the developer has abandoned or died. Should have sync function added like Good Reader and Outliner for example. PLEASE FIX

Terrible customer service. I PAID for this app and LOST all my recipes. I had a back up file but I had to reload iPad software. Now I can't reload JUST that file to the app. Per their instructions I have to "restore from backup in iTunes" which restores ALL the files, including the corrupt ones that caused my problems. I've tried emailing them and get generic responses. I've tried sending a message through Facebook, no response. Now I've spent two years loading recipes and they're lost. I've got a file on my computer but other than printing, I'm screwed. Don't get this app if you might ever have software trouble and expect someone... Anyone? to get back to you for help

Good app, but the synchronize function is useless. I like this app to organize and save my recipes. The hide downside is the sharing feature which works 1% of the time. Unless this can be resolved, don't buy it! One would expect far more from a paid app. Hasn't been updated in over a year either, so developer may have given up just like the users...

Good recipe tool, but with issues. I have used this app for many years without using any import or export features. Then I wanted to use the iPhone app so that I could take recipes with me. The touted WIFI transferring of recipes doesn’t work, but the export via email does for new recipes. You can only send under 20 at a time if you want pictures to accompany the recipe, and you need to flag them in some way; I use the bookmark feature, but that means you are only using bookmarks for import/export, and continually unchecking bookmarks on both apps when done. If you update a recipe with new information, you must first delete the recipe from the destination and then import it. Hard to remember what you’ve changed if you don’t do the fixes right away. Importing recipes from the web has an Instant import feature that never works for me. I can do things in stages with cut and paste although it takes multiple steps (name, notes, ingredients, preparation, source, servings, etc). Doable but slow. Still, it is better than typing. The picture import doesn’t work, although you can capture the image to tour photos and import from there. Bottom line is I make it work for me, but wish the WIFI and Instant Import would work. Then it would be a 5.

Glad I didn’t give up on this app. Love this app. I have almost 500 recipes stored in it and have used it for years. I almost gave up, but have managed to find work arounds to deal with all the issues. I was thrilled when it was finally updated. Please, please, please update the iPad version as well. The phone version is nice for looking up ingredients while I’m in the store, but it’s much nicer to use the iPad while cooking or baking. Thank you.

Would be fantastic if it worked. This app has the right idea but the instant import function rarely works so adding recipes is difficult and recently the feature that allowed me to transfer recipes from my phone to iPad stopped working so I don't have all of my recipes in one place

Figured it out. I’ve used the iPad version for years. The only problem I had was the instant import feature, but realized it was the recipe source web site that was the problem, not the app (some sources worked well, others didn’t). Then I found this app in the App Store. Thought it would be great to be able to sync my recipes between devices and with friends. Well, it didn’t work. Tried many times. Rebooted both devices. Still wouldn’t. It got to the point where the devices would display the Ready to Send/Receive then just hang there. Checked WiFi on both devices. They were the same. Then, on a hunch, I changed the WiFi from the extender I was using to the main router on both devices. Bingo. Worked great. Don’t know if it’s coincidence or if it was the problem, but it worked. I’ve saved myself from re-entering all my recipes in a different app. Hope the developer puts out an update mentioning this or changes something to make it work with a WiFi extender.

What happened?. Used to love this app but can't use it now. Pages freeze up every time. Then I have to quit the app and start over to get it to work until it freezes again. No recent updates to address the problem. Doesn't sync with my iPhone either. And the new format doesn't show the photo or servings once you actually get to the recipe. Is anyone listening?? Doesn't seem so!!

Just what I wanted. This app does everything I wanted. Well worth it, easy to use. Syncs nicely between my iPhone and iPad. Nice to have the recipes with me in the store if I think of something I want to make and can't remember all the ingredients or quantities. I love the instant import. I only wish the shopping list could link with my shopping app, grocery g. Update. After the latest update I can't share my recipes between my iPad and phone. I tried contacted them but all I hear are crickets. I'll keep it because I have a lot of recipes but sure hope it gets updated correctly.

Love this app. I put all my new recipes and working on old ones as I use them. They are always at hand when I am shopping for quick reference and easy to use as I cook. I also very much appreciate being able to quickly look up a recipe with search feature and not go through stacks of old paper recipes. Great app.

The APP needs to update, not me. When I recently updated my software on my iPhone to 17.1.1, I can no longer send recipes from my iPhone to my iPad. The app only allows receiving recipes on my iPhone, not sharing them with my iPad. Big Bug problem. I received a note from the developer, telling me to update my iPhone and iPad, but both of them were updated to 17.1.1 last week. That is exactly when I started having problems sharing recipes from my iPhone to the iPad. I believe the app needs to update to 17.1.1. It may be only running at 15.

Good recipe keeper. I use this app a lot. However, since IOS 16 has come out I can’t import pictures from any source nor can I sync my iPad and iPhone. I noticed that your latest update was for IOS 15. Please update to IOS 16. Thank you!

Brilliant.. Love this app. Have tried other similar apps and always come back to the Recipe Box. Easy to use and easy to import recipes. They are also continuously improving the app and listen to feedback. 5 out of 5.

Great app, just needs iCloud support.. I’m really pleased to see the app has had an update (12mths ago now) as I was concerned it was just going to die a slow death by iOS update. I’m still hoping for iCloud support to be added though to allow all devices to sync and backup. iTunes backup is apparently an option but I can’t remember the last time I used iTunes, is it still a thing? This is a really good ‘one-device’ app but it fails to take advantage of iCloud support so your recipes can be seamlessly updated on other devices. There is a wifi transfer link feature to share recipes with other devices but in my experience it is not reliable and rarely functions. It’s a good app but it could be so much better.

Recipe Box. This is a fantastic app. I used the one for iPad for many years and the recent update has made it easier to use. I love that you can now see a larger picture of what you are cooking. I now also have the mobile phone version which is very convenient when grocery shopping to double-check required ingredients. I have about 400 recipes saved. Well done to the app designers.

Love It!. This really is the best recipe app out. The only thing I wish they would add? Ability to icloud recipes to sync between iPhone/iPad.

Do Not Buy. This is a hopeless App. Constantly causes my iPad to freeze, will not instantly import recipes. About to search for new recipe App and transfer recipes.

Love My iPhone & iPad. disappointed that when I brought both the iphone and ipad version that can not use it because it need to be updated with the updated of itunes and not compatiable with the lastest iphone and ipad updates, please fix the problem and trouble paid for something that I can not use.

Seems like no longer supported. I’ve been using The Recipe Box ( on iPad ) for over 4 years. I used to be able to back up to Cloud via ITunes and also directly share recipes to my phone using a Recipe Box ( a seperate but sister app). No longer and my major source of recipes is on my iPad app. A thing of beauty but no longer an app from which I can share. Very sad.

WORSE MONEY SPENT ON AN APP. This app is terrible to use. Can't add recipes as easily as indicated! This is the ABSOLUTE WORST APP I have ever spent money on! Don't waste your time. I wish I could get a refund it's that bad.

Disappointing Upgrade. I’ve had this app for years - it used to be my favorite recommenation but since the upgrade, the text doesn’t fit, it’s too dark and the sequence for adding new recipes has changed from Ingredients/Directions to Directions/Ingredients. So frustrating & disappointing.

Going Downhill. The update hangs on my iPad2 and 5s. I have to reset every time I use the shopping list even though I have done what they say to do. The new font and colours are a pain to read. I'm not updating my IPad Air2! Thinking about switching to Epicurious. Any experience out there?

Not updated, no longer functions as needed. This app was perfect originally, but it clearly needs updating to work with newer OS. It no longer shares or imports instantly, which it what made it so terrific originally. Disappointing.

Super glitchy!!! Needs a complete overhaul!. This app is unbelievably glitchy! It has closed on me countless times when I'm halfway through writing a recipe, losing my unsaved information in the process. It freezes extremely often when looking at recipes, forcing me to shutdown and restart the app in order to continue looking at the recipe. It also often takes two tries to enter a search, which is annoying. Fix these issues! They aren't insurmountable, and frankly the fact that they exist in a PAID app in 2016 is unacceptable!!!

Love it. I love the fact that I can now have my recipes beamed from my iPad to my iPhone. They are at my finger tips when I am on the go and it is like an extra backup of them so if I ever have to get a new iPad again my recipes wont be lost by a pre upgrade backup overwriting my actual backup!

Will Not Open. Since purchasing this app, I have not been able to open it which is unfortunate.

Recipe Link not working. I used this feature many times in the past between my iPad and iPhone. The problem is that it hasn’t worked for a LONG time now. Any plans to fix the issue? It seems that others are having the same problem.

Waste of money. This app is a waste of money unless you want to learn how to make french toast or rum and coke,you do get a couple of recipes but not worth your two dollars

Best recipe box. I love this recipe box. I'm a professional baker and I've tried about 10 recipe boxes and this is my favorite. I have it on my iPad and my iPhone and my sons iPod so that I always have my recipes when I need them. My mom has it on her iPad too and it's nice because we can sync the devices to share recipes. It's easy to organize and add your own categories, easy to add recipes, easy to import recipes from lots of different web sites, and easy to find your recipes. No complaints here!

Amazing app. The only app you need

Don't spend your money. Doesn't work properly. The included recipes are just "whatever". I bought it because I wanted to be able to keep track of my own as well as add some from allrecipes. Spent quite a bit of time adding my recipes and they all saved blank. Same with the ones I tried to import. Even though the app claims to support importing from all recipes and others, it didnt work for me. Basically just wasted a few hours of my day for nothing but headache.

Recipe Box. This is the most amazing app. I have it on my iPad as well. Wasn't too keen on the recipes it came with but have has fun entering my own. So easy to use either with copy and paste or instant import. Even typing them out is easy. Love the way I can get a shopping list by a click of a button and mark ingredients off as I pick them up. One of the best apps I've purchased to date.

The Recipe Box. Love this app. Have it on my ipad and I bought The Recipe Box To Go as well. Very convenient to use. Easy to copy and paste recipes from various sources. I transferred the recipes from my iPad app to the new one in seconds, although I had 100 or more recipes to transfer.

Outstanding. I love this app. I noticed it on a friend's iPad and was very disappointed that there wasn't an iPhone version. Thank you for finally making one. It's so easy to put recipes in wether it's my own or from a website. And the option to sync to all devices and send to friends is awesome. And the shopping list? A little jewel. This is a must for anyone who cooks. :)

Can't import!. I have this app on both my phone and iPad. Works great on the iPad but will not import recipes on my phone. Very frustrating :(

Does not synch anymore. I have used this app for a long time now. Family recipes now in there. Earlier this year it stopped syncing between my two iPads and my iphone. I since got a new iphone and it still won’t sync. Looking for a new app now. Need to figure out how to get my recipes out. What a shame because other wise I love this app

Great app. I have been using this app for a few years now and it is the best I have seen. It’s on my phone and tablet. I have gifted it to family and friends. Then I would sync or send the recipes they want. Also very easy to download new recipes or add family favourites ! I usually print the recipe on scrap then recycle it.

Syncing. I love this app but it just wont sync , it says to have wifi on , well it is on and wont sync , help please

Been using this app for years. I have been using this app for years to organize my recipes. It is easy to use, great import functionality. It is always been upgraded. It is also easy to send my friends and family recipes using email or messenger. I highly recommend.

Happy happy. I've used this app on my iPad for a couple of years. Just put it on my iPhone and 223 recipes transferred over in seconds. Very happy

Love this app on iPad. I've been using this app on my iPad forever & love it!! Downloaded it for my phone today, because I saw that I could sync it with my iPad, yeah right!! I only have 280 recipes & I've managed to move 10 in an hour! It keeps crashing!!!! Fix it please!!

Desperately needs update.. New OS needs to be updated

Soooo Good!!!. Very easy to use, customizable, appealing to the eye, I can take recipes I've pinned on Pinterest and import the recipes, very organized, nice presentation, the list goes on. Love it!

Syncing Issues. Love this app. The only issue is it won’t sync anymore between devices.

Awesome APP. Had it for years now & love!

Love it!. Easy to use! Nice layout. I would like to see a spot for more types of recipes. I can see a spot for sauces/salsas but what about dips? Also the clock for prep time is abit confusing to use. Not sure if 1:30 is a minute thirty seconds or an hour and thirty minutes.

Good but it have bugs. I like the categories, etc. But it's difficult to save thé recipee or save the add we made. When i use the "done" it freeze, nothing happened and i wait but i have to close the application. But When it works it's super

Love it. I use the app daily and can't live without it. I have on my iPhone and iPad and love the fact that if I am out and decide to make something for dinner I look up the ingredients for each recipe at store. I like the new updates as well. Thanks

Recipe box. My favorite app, works perfectly, easy to use.

Easy to use, easy to back up. The app does all that it promises. I had to re-enter all of my recipes from a previous app that I couldn't update because of Apple's collusion with identity thieves, and Recipe Box made it easy. Now, with back-ups available as an option, I don't have to worry about that again.

Syncing (IPad & iPhone). So disappointing. The functionality is all you really need but when you sync your iPhone to IPad especially with a large list, it falls apart. Sigh. Unstable app. I suggest you stay away from this and look for another application.

Recipe Box iPHONE. I have been using Recipe Box on my iPad for years and complaining no app for iPhone. So, now you have one, purchased it. HORRIBLE. No way to easily transfer my recipes. In fact cannot transfer any. Support links? Several I tried, one being Email (under construction) said Bad. That’s it-bad. Huge disappointment.

Best recipe app I've seen. Now available for iPhone.. This app is like it was made for me. I do a lot of baking and use a lot of recipes from the KAF site. Downloading recipes from there is a snap!

Was great, can be again!. Really hope this is still an “active” app. The developer has not updated for over a year. Would love iPhone X support and fixes for import and copy. Took the time to add all my family recipes to these, really hope it doesn’t just fade away or become completely inoperable. Contact the developer stopped working and is marked “under construction” My advice, find another app and save your current recipes before the app is unusable and they are all lost!

Best app for Recipe storage. I've used several, but this is the best and easiest to use. I'm glad I found this one, a real keeper. Use tutorial and you'll love it also.

WIFI transfer. The WIFI only works sometimes. It needs work.

No Support. I have been using this app for several years and it still seems to work OK, but some bugs are now appearing especially when searching for new recipes. The search window typing is white rather than black and is almost impossible to read. I have been unable to reach Support if it still exists. Looks as though the app has not been updated since 2015.

What happened?. Used to love this app but can't use it now. Pages freeze up every time. Then I have to quit the app and start over to get it to work until it freezes again. No recent updates to address the problem. Doesn't sync with my iPhone either. And the new format doesn't show the photo or servings once you actually get to the recipe. Is anyone listening?? Doesn't seem so!!

Recipe transfer not working.. I cannot get my recipes to transfer from my iPad to my phone. Help. I don’t want to re-enter 80 recipes onto my phone when they are right there on my iPad.

Not being maintained. This used to be the best recipe app available. I loved it! Easily 5 ⭐️. However the developer has not updated it in over 2 years and it’s just a matter of time before there’s an iOS update that’s not compatible with this version and when that happens, we will lose all our recipes! This is really too bad, because this was a fabulous app.

Excellent but still needs work. This was a 5 star app years ago. Syncing works but is cumbersome. Now if that nice little keyboard with degrees and fractions and common recipe abbreviations just worked again I’d be giving its 5th star back.

Fantastic app. This is the best recipe organizer I’ve ever used. The shopping list feature is why I bought it and loaded it on my phone and iPad. Sharing recipes with friends is so easy.

Link share. Link share doesn’t work. Tries but never connects successfully. Please fix

Confused. Same as other reviews. I used this app for years on I pad. Was unable to transfer to i-phone, even after buying another copy of the app.

Unreliable sharing.. The appeal of purchasing this app was to be able to share and receive recipes with family members. So far, 30 minutes and multiple, multiple resets/reboots of the apps and iOS devices just to get a working connection. It would've been faster to write them all down by hand. Be wary of any app whose tech support FAQ says 'we're only human!' Far better free options out there.

I Love This App!. I can bounce recipes between my iPhone and iPad. It works great, I can do nothing BUT recommend it.

Great App. I have used this App for many years. It’s very easy to import and share recipes.

Absolutely hate Version 6. Why do I have to jump through hoops to find my recipes. Over half the time the search bar fails to find my recipe by the name that it has been given. It takes MUCH more time to bring up a recipe than it used to. Stop trying to fix what isn’t broken. Terrible update.

Recipe Box. I really liked this; however, when I got a new phone or iPad, the process for having my recipes on my devices was difficult. It should have been an automatic process. Consequently, I stopped using it.

Import not working. While I had the latest version installed on my iPhone, Instant Import still didn't work. It hasn't worked on iPhone or iPad for some time. So, I just installed the iPhone version on my iPad, and Instant Import worked then. I'm not sure if this would help you solve the problem, but I hope you solve it soon.

Unusable. Seriously don’t waste time or money on this app. No update has been provided in 3 years. There is no support whatsoever. App barely works. No syncing or back option. If you lose a recipe, you have lost it for good. Good luck in recreating again. App should be taken down from App Store.

Needs to be fixed. I loved this app, but over the last year the ability to share recipes between devices is not working! Also the measurements and numbers buttons in the app no longer work! Please update and fix the bugs.

Needs update. I loved this app for a very long time, but lately it has become glitchy. I hit the degree button and get an x. Recipes can not be copied in whole from the web. Have trouble sharing between my phone and iPad now. I didn’t used to have this problem. ☹️

Love this app. I love this app and being able to search and copy a recipe easily. I love being able to get it on my tablet or phone so I can use it home or traveling.

Love it. I have had this app on my iPad for 10 years and just added it to my iPhone. It works great for me. It isn’t perfect but I wouldn’t give it up.

Lost all my own recipes!. I lost all my own recipes on this app. When I try to contact them it says their site is unavailable! So frustrating, I had been having trouble with the keyboard not typing the info I was inputting, so I tried to reload it and lost everything. When I reloaded it now I cannot transfer recipes, nothing works right! Help!

How stupid can it be. I’ve been using recipe box for a long time. Had entered family recipes I can’t get again. My iPad is backed up regularly. Today I get on to look up a recipe and it says I’m about to use this version for the first time. It has reset to the original recipes. ALL of my recipes are gone! Ones my mother gave me, before she passed away! I hate this app!!!!!!!!!

Lost recipes. App worked great for a number of years. Opened it today and all of our recipes are gone. It looks like it did when we first loaded app. We have lost about 100 recipes. Print all your recipes to keep them.

Not what it used to be. This app was great for a long time but now I can't get it to sync with my iPhone, which is why I wanted the app! Do yourself a favor and use Paprika or Recipe Gallery. I just recently got them both and have had no problems sending my recipes to my phone.

Used to Be Great. I’ve used this app for the better part of a decade. It’s really customizable and doesn’t have too much going on, like some of the other apps. But, it no longer syncs across platforms at all. Which is really frustrating.

Crashes when printing. This is my favorite recipe app, I’ve used it for years.

Charley. It would be nice if you could down load the file to a fire stick. I have 396 recipes. It would be great to be Able to move it to my computer. It’s to big of a file to keep on my phone. I have had it sense Sep. 2014.

Good App. Love this app and have used it for years to keep track of my recipes but a great feature would be to add your own categories along with changing and adding sub categories

Great app. But has some glitches.. Love app when it works. But will no longer copy from iPad to phone.

Add the option to add pictures to directions. Love this app. So much easier to use than other recipe apps. Only thing I would change is to have the option to add pictures in the directions tab.

Poor Customer Support. I have had this app for 6 years now. I’ve never been able to reach Customer Support. When you click on Contact or email a wierd page pops up about design. Can’t get my iPhone and iPad to link. Followed directions about Wi-Fi etc. If there is no support, what good is this app?

Love it. Able to keep all my recipes in one place. Just wish I could print them out in a cookbook.

Good recipe keeper. I use this app a lot. However, since IOS 16 has come out I can’t import pictures from any source nor can I sync my iPad and iPhone. I noticed that your latest update was for IOS 15. Please update to IOS 16. Thank you!

No customer support AT ALL. It’s really a shame that no one stands behind this product when you have a problem. Now the special keys have stopped working and there is no way to contact them. Their contact page is always “under construction “ or something like that. I used to love this app but without support it’s not worth it

Great app but with issues. When I try to have it set the newest recipes first on my iPad app it doesn’t work. Hope this can be fixed. I’ve used this app on my iPad and iPhone love it

Wish the import feature worked with more sites. I agree with others that this is a great app but has fallen short with updates & fixes. Please fix because I do use this app often.

Great app for iPad; not for iPhone. I have had Recipe box on my iPad for many years. Decided to load it on my phone to give me a backup of sorts. I lost all the years of collected recipes when the two devices synced. I’m hoping I can recover from a backup I made a couple of months ago. I wish there had been better instructions on how to avoid data loss.

CeeBee. Favorite app since I got an iPad in 2011. Now, if I could only get it to sync to my phone. Tried twice...just can’t get it, but still five stars.

A love affair. I love this app. It is so useful. Just remember what it was like when we had to write recipes out.
