Keep up the good work.. This is one of my favorite games yet. I loved the original, but always thought that something was missing. I think the idea of one of my favorite games getting a sequel was... well... I don’t know how to describe it. War Tortoise is an action-packed game that I think deserves more attention from its community. And the concept of changing your pilot and getting new support characters and a new way of upgrading your tortoise? Just to good. I would recommend this game for people who enjoy idle but also action games. Keep up the good work!

One problem. This game is great and I have already played for hours and don’t plan on stopping, but sometimes when you reach a new location, a little quote pops up next to the tortoise you are supposed to read, but if you are using auto fire, you can’t read the quote because you are somewhere else on the screen watching the fighting. For example I was in auto fire when I entered my first scouting camp and I do not know what information I was supposed to learn there. A quote popped up and I was too far away to read it, and when I try to get closer it disappears. It’s aggravating, but doesn’t exactly ruin the game so if corse ima still play it.

Made good on earlier mistake.. This is the only idle game I’ve played that I’ve kept on my phone and spent money on (which you don’t need to do, but unlocking several heroes early is nice). I originally wrote a review with four stars because a recent update wiped out my resources. A follow-up update about 24 hours later restored them and gave a slew of other stuff as well. That’s taking care of your users! Thanks to the devs for getting that done fast.

Amazing game but needs a fix.. Hey this is my most favorite game I’ve ever played and I’ve played War tortoise as well and they are so good. But this new version needs a fix (I’m not a good word finder.). This fix is it needs color better graphics because when I play all I see is darkness and some light in the sky on the screen only when I see lightning I see friends and foe and the tortoise with the laser but only a short glimpse of my characters thanks instead of a complete look at the whole picture. Can there be an update for this problem? Please & thanks for if you guys update this amazing War tortoise 2 game!

A wonderful game in desperate need of some good soundtracks. This game is different from other idle games in whole new and good ways , however the most memorable moments for me is the atmosphere and the different day cycle of day/sunset/night especially at travels but the mono main menu like music that always on repeat and never change kills the whole atmosphere horribly , if a post apocalyptic music that cycle with the day cycles of the game is used it will be very nice and maybe if you have time make it grow more pitched and deadly the more the enemies grow stronger , Thanks .

Bug report/suggestion “,good game tho. I haven’t played this new update so they might’ve fixed it, but the last time I played I was stuck in an area where I couldn’t deal any real dmg and the enemy couldn’t deal any real dmg so I couldn’t move to my destination, so I had to wait for my minions to take them out. I think the main problem was that the only items I was seeming to get were light weapons, to the point where some of them ,that were freshly obtained , could be 1-6 digits less than that of my best gun, which I got a long time ago. In order to prevent this, I think items should be more regularly rewarded, without the use of gems. Also I think you should make fishing a bit more convenient , there’s a lot of ways you could go about it, but, however you do it just make it more convenient. if I could do it whilst completing objectives it would be a lot more fun. as it stands, fishing stops my sense of progression and I feel like there’s better things I can do that’ll get me to my goals faster. I suggest adding swamp beach , or just small bodies of water you can fish at while passing by,

Good but built in such a way you have to grind.. Fun but ultimately pointless. The devs are very good and knowing how to reward and how to build a paywall. So while you’ll get enough perks to keep going, in the end, it becomes impossible to progress without restarting. After doing the same thing ten times in a row, you’ll get sick of it because it is not so much about skill as it is about permanent upgrades. And how do you get those? You’ve guessed. You either pay or grind for an extremely long time. There are some idle games where careful optimization gets you a far way. But in this game, you’ll always be limited by your health and armor. So even if you have huge DPS, you’ll still die :). So I’ve deleted it. It’s fun until you realize you can’t really progress. Oh. I’ve also paid for IAP.

Requested updates. Hi Forsaken, Hope you read this. I am enjoying the game a lot, but here are a few issues... 1. BIGGEST ISSUE: Progress on Generation is gauged by highest level, but since conquest level affects enemy strength so much, you're practically forced to go back to the capture point right next to your home and wait out the end of each Gen. Suggest adding additional levels to higher conquest tiers based on enemy HP. For example, if you make it to level 100 on a conquest tier that gives enemies 500% HP, count the "highest level reached" as 100 plus the number of levels it would take for enemies at the lowest conquest tier to have the same amount of HP as those you were defeated by. 2. There is no way to know how much "armor piercing" is enough. Maybe show the average armor value of armored enemies on a wave? Or better explain how armor piercing works. 3. Getting a war supplies armor piercing boost on a unit with an armor piercing upgrade as its 3rd upgrade pretty much makes that 3rd upgrade useless, war supply boosts typically give WAY more AP than those upgrades. Maybe make the AP gained by leveling that upgrade add a minimum of some% of the unit's total AP? 4. Please please please invert your logo at startup or at least add an option in the menu. It is too Forsaken for me.

Actually really fun!. The premise is silly and fun. The gameplay has a level of polish you don’t typically see in most mobile games especially for an idler. Most games of this nature are barebones and simply have you upgrading to get to the next step but this game actually has a bit of gameplay and you can visually see how your upgrades are helping by more than just an increase in numbers. I’ve found my new go to for winding down or killing a little time. Oh, and you aren’t pressured with exorbitant iap’s like so many games these days.

Been with me since childhood. I’ve played the first game of this when I was younger and I loved it and since the this game came I’ve been hyped up and while waiting I played your other games and had lots of fun. Right now I’m good at the game and checked to see what units to buy but here are some suggestions on what to add 1.in the game bug heroes I think there was a merc shop and you should add that here in WT2 2.you should add a hero that’s a bee and it’s active ability is leader of the bees :spawns 3-5 fighter bees for 120 seconds costing 10 or 20 energy and each with 10%of its hp and dm 3. How about if there’s a forest or jungle area while traveling each level there’s a 10% chance for a sloth boss to appear called the slasher (because sloths have claws right?) and if you defeat him you get 10 gems and get a 5 % chance for a sloth unit Overall the game is fantastic and even if you don’t add these 3 items it’s ok but if you do that would make me much happier and thank you for making these great games and have a great day.

Met every expectation and more. War tortoise was and is my favorite mobile game, and one of my favorite games in general. When I saw they were making a second one, I was ecstatic. In war tortoise 2, they improved the menu (IMO) and added a whole bunch of new features, like abilities (kind of already in the first game) they added moving around, which I think is amazing, and they added bosses in more regularly. In war tortoise 1, the bosses were pretty much optional, and you didn’t have to fight them unless you wanted to, but in this game, they aren’t optional. This adds some extra spice, an extra challenge, and I love it.

A very good game (also bug report). This game is absolutely very good, it has many different worlds and environments to afk through. However, here is the bug report; if you use the golden eagle while in an adventure in the adventure lands, and then use the golden eagle again, the game just breaks. Like, there are adventure signposts on the main map and the units you have can’t move. This game is very amazing though, that bug is very unlikely to occur, and you can fix it by exiting and entering the game. Have fun out there, Pilot, and destroy the enemy to bring back mankind!

Battery Drainer. This game is fun. I never played part 1 but hopped into this one without any problem. First, the game is well made. I played for about 4 hours tonight but after my phone got down to 10% battery, I plugged in; three hours later, I go to unplug to go to another room and my phone is at 7%. This game literally drains your battery as fast as it can charge. Aside from that, it was fun to play. Ads were surprisingly not too bad, I didn't mind watching them, but the drain on the battery is why I'm about to delete the game.

Greatest unknown Game on the App Store. Not only is War Tortoise 2 an action packed war epic, it’s also an emotional journey through the animal kingdom as you join forces with your Mouse army allies and endure true war against evolved species. The graphics are actually pretty good in all honesty, especially when it rains at night, it truly feels epic. The upgrading is easy and simple and the gameplay is great despite a few flaws. The only suggestions I have is: More ability to turn, I feel limited when I can only turn 180 degrees. A 360 degree turn would feel more immersive and make the world feel more complete. It would be harder, but maybe don’t include enemies on both sides yet. Just a thought. Keep up the great work. Recommend 10/10

Just one thing. This game is so fun. It’s very addicting and the perfect game to play when your feeling a little lazy. Maybe you just wanna relax, this is the game to hop on. To me, it’s super satisfying to watch, and it’s not difficult at all so it doesn’t get annoying. At least not too annoying. There is one problem with the game and it’s the fact that it gives you “helpful” hints. For instance, if you’re holding a ton of apples, the game reminds you can camp and cook em for upgrades. This sounds quite useful, until you find out the game won’t give you a break. I was debating on whether I should rate the game 4 or 5 stars and I went for 5 cause it’s a good game, but these tips make it annoying and unfortunately, sometimes unplayable. At the moment, I haven’t even been able to play because my pilot is max level so QUITE LITERALLY every five seconds, it reminds me to upgrade him and I can’t cause I don’t have enough gems at the moment, but it doesn’t stop telling me to upgrade him. Maybe their is a way to get rid of the tips that I’m unaware of but it gets quite aggravating. All in all though, this game is fun. I’m sure I’m part of a few people who have had a lot of trouble with the tips, so I don’t know if anyone else is having trouble with em, but it’s still very fun and relaxing.

Do not download unless you want to pay!!!. I was loving the game. Lots of fun and customizing. I new something was a little off when they keep pushing for you to give a 5 star review within a few minutes of playing the game, how do u know if it is a good game yet. Been playing for 2 days now and have hit a point where I can no longer play the game at all unless I pay to do so. In the game you get gems which u use to get permanent upgrades so you spend them along the way. While playing my mouse character hit max lever and the game stops to tell you that you need to upgrade him so he can get more levels, which is fine. I didn’t have the 20 gems right then so I check and figured I would play till I got them then upgrade. NOPE the game will not let you continue if you do not upgrade right then. If u leave that screen nothing happen it just stop you and keeps telling you that you need to upgrade. The only way to get gems as the game will not continue is to purchase them or do a crazy “offer” when you give all your personal info to some shady company. The worst most predatory thing I have ever seen in a game. Please don’t waste your time.

Another Classic. Usually, I do not write reviews for games like this. However, I’ve followed this studio seance I was 18 playing titles such as the original War Tortoise and Noble Man. The Best part about this game is that this isn’t just a cash grab, it’s a well thought out, challenging and enjoyable game. They refuse to push adds on their players, as they have never done it in any of their other games. If you enjoy tower defense, and you loved the previous titles, give this game the support it deserves. We can’t let this one get bogged down by all the other apps in the store!

Piece of art. For a mobile game it is top shelf material. This game has evolved since the first War tortoise. I am pleased with the graphics, mechanics, options, leveling, and equipment. The list goes on and on. I have played the game since launch an it has come a long way the past few months. I was excited to see fixes and new content like fishing. I am excited to see what new things come next! I hope there is a multiplayer feature or guild mode put in at some point so that friends can see the progression of their friends tortoise. All this said I would still rate the game 5 stars if no additions to the game were added simply because it is a work of art and runs very well. I hope to see new additions and games in the future I can’t wait to see what comes next! Keep up the excellent work !

Played 5 mins, but really enjoyable so far. The tutorial has been good so far. I am usually a fan of rpg style games, open worlds, character growth, and not as much a fan of auto battlers. This one is fun thus far. I will update later, but I plan on continuing play. It’s easy to just keep going as your tortoise makes its way across the field. Graphics are good, and the characters are enjoyable so far. Update after a few days: It took me a couple times to get used to the approach the game takes to death. You just keep going until something can kill ya in 1 shot. You then get to upgrade your tortoise and start over, but you keep your heroes, pilots, and explored areas. It does keep you engaged in small upgrades to keep yourself going through as many rounds as you can, and there is something satisfying when your squad is removing bosses as soon as they hit the ground. It’s also satisfying to spends billions at a time. Fishing was fun too, and camping and cooking are useful. I did not give 5 stars mostly because I was expecting more of a free-roam open world; being able to move your tortoise where you want in the world; more free range open world, rpg style, but that was just my take from reading the game description initially.

This Game Deserves Only Five Stars. I’ve been reading a lot of the one star reviews. I feel like most of them are unfairly judging this game. I can understand if your phone can’t physically run it or that you feel uncomfortable when it pasted from your clipboard; however, it’s quite ridiculous when they say there’s no objective or story. It’s explicitly stated you need to save human kind. You’re explicitly given objectives of clearing out specific places on the map. You will gain more strength and opportunities through capturing a world. You will eventually unlock new worlds too. I loved the first War Tortoise and I preordered this game as soon as I saw it. This game expands and innovates so much when compared to the first game. I wanted to say thank you to the developers. This is my first written review and I’m only writing this because I feel that game deserves so much more attention. Keep up the good work devs and Merry Christmas.

Same old style, new as ever. I just started playing it today after I preordered it and wow. Just wow! It still has familiar mechanics from the first game but such amazing changes that it is easily addictive. And it just officially came out today to so it is really good! The only thing I would change is a increased travel speed, I mean, sure it’s a tortoise, but the slow speed seems too exaggerated, so just slightly increase the travel speed. But all in all, I have been a fan since the first game came out and this puts the bar even higher! I would expect nothing less! A beautifully earned 5 stars from me!

Great For What It Is. It’s just that, an idle exploration game where you try to last as lo as you can while your growing army fights helplessly against endless hordes of enemies in a visually appealing bullet-hell. After a while, however, the pacing chokes with a lot of in it a left locked, gear you can’t get access too, and a monstrous map that you can never imagine finishing. Bluntly put, I don’t think you will finish this game without purchasing anything. It would drag on for years. They could do something to help with this difficult pacing, but I feel like the pacing is intentional to spurn players to buy gems.

Great game but............ Its good its fun but it literally stops you and says buy something or you wont continue in fact there is no screen but this screen so your stuck here until you buy something... there is no back button no back to camp no back to even home screen if you dont have gems to continue there is the option to start all over... just give me a cool down period where id have to wait then i could continue..where i left off its furstraing to have to keep starting all over edit. Its ok once you spent a few bucks

Nothing else like it!. Outstanding game, huge fan of the original and several other Foursaken games. While I love the mobility of the tortoise in this game, I really preferred many of the aspects of the original. I miss having mortars on my tortoise, but if I could change only one thing in this game, it would be the implementation of ranged units. In the original game, ranged units stood near your tortoise, which makes sense, as they have guns to shoot from afar. Weapon range could be upgraded, and there was a lot of visual appeal of thousands of shots being unleashed in the same direction. In this game, ranged units sit in the middle of the battlefield, clutter the screen with shots going every which way, and both constantly get killed by melee attackers AND prevent your primary weapons from engaging enemies behind them. Both of those problems compound to make AI in this game seem less advanced than in the original. I would truly love to see a return to original ranged unit mechanics, and that alone would elevate this game to near perfection in my eyes. Also, would like the return of the ability to manually trigger next generation and receive a mutation regardless of whether or not you have neared your previous top level. Once you have reached level 200+ one time, it necessitates maxing level of cash producing units to continue receiving mutations, which slows gameplay and feels grindy. All in all, highly recommended game.

My honest thoughts. In my opinion, I think this is one of the best mobile games and THE BEST idle game because it doesn’t force ads and micro transactions down your throat but you will want to watch ads when it gives you the chance because watching a 30 second ad on your own free will for some worth it rewards is amazing. I like how it’s not just another click/tap and actually engages the player but also allows you to still be doing other stuff while auto fight is on but don’t think you are safe just bc the AI is fighting for you because you will still have to shoot missiles down on your own. The fact that it also has a lot to do and a map to explore and plenty of cool enemy’s and allies is amazing. This game deserves a 5 out of 5 for being 1 of the few games on mobile that is actually amazing quality and not just a cash grab. I watch the ads (My own choice) to support them because I believe they made a amazing mobile game. So far I’ve been playing for 2-3 days and I haven’t felt forced to do anything through my play through but I feel like they do hold your hand a little bit during the first couple of minutes but that’s fine and understandable and no where near as bad as other game tutorials. Overall please support this app to show that good mobile games are possible and don’t need to be cash grab garbage ad filled games to do well.

First impressions. I pre ordered the game a little while back and just got the notification that war tortoise 2 was available for download. I have been playing the game for a little over an hour at the time of me writing this and I can already say that I’m hooked. I love the upgrading system, although to me it’s a little confusing but I’m sure I’ll understand it more as I play. The graphics on the game are great, and runs smoothly on my iPhone XS. There’s not a heavy push to spend real money which is always a plus to me, and the ads are available to watch to gain extra items, but are not forced. All in all I look forward to seeing what the developers have in store for this game, and I recommend you give it a try yourself.

Great Game. If you like bizarre tortoise games this is for you. Lol! This game is overall very good. Very balanced and doesn’t require you to buy currency to get ahead. As they said in the overview, it is very challenged and is very engaging. You definitely need to be paying attention, as the difficulty increases quickly. I love the map feature. Capturing unique bases that give you bonus rewards over time is a great idea. I normally don’t see things like this in games. One thing I dislike is how weak the raid bosses are. It says that they take multiply generation’s to beat but I can usually take them out as long as I activate my Pilot and Hero abilities. Speaking of Pilots and Heroes, this is another great feature. They are not overpriced, each are very unique and give you great bonuses. The Mutation and Evolutions system is something you see in many games but it’s still great to see it in this one. Loving the game and I would like to see more updates.

Best mobile game period but still suggestions. So this game is the goat, but despite all it has it feels small and confined. My suggestion is a third game with the same concept, but instead of from the side of the tortoise it is head on. Also instead of kinda random backgrounds and areas, how about a full map with terrain and vantage points, and the ability to station in chosen areas. Also, tortoise customization seems limited, so what about being able to equip different pieces of armor and being able to dye it. For ex, a tortoise helmet dyed purple and leggings dyed blue. ALSO, what about the ability to walk around as the pilot, but just need to stay in proximity of the tortoise, and you can have your own little gun kinda like titanfall. Just a few suggestions but this game is a masterpiece

Update from 1 star review to 5 star review. I have never had an experience whereby a developer fixed problems, they created, so quickly. I am truly impressed by their speed and professionalism. I am chagrined by my hasty 1 star review without giving them the opportunity to fix the issues. Well done War Tortoise 2!!!! ***You offer free War Supplies that are ranked much lower than my current rank. Why would I replace a rank 21 with a rank 14? And, there is no way to get rid of the War supply other than using it. Please fix this or I can’t really play any longer since I can’t use the War supplies.

Really Decent Game. Overall, the gameplay is just as good as the original with the ‘campaign’ design being a clever way of adding replay-ability and player retention. Also, although you can purchase the ‘elite’ currency, it only feels slightly in your face. If it was any more annoying, I would deduct another star. The only star deduction is because the user interface isn’t as intuitive as it could be. It’s startling just how many menu tutorials are needed to remember where everything is. I still have trouble finding certain features after playing for several weeks. Overall, it is a great game that could easily improve with some changes to allow for greater ease of use.

What mobile games should be. Ok first I of this is what every mobile game dev should go for amazing graphics you aren’t clicking to the point we’re your fingers hurt not many adds whatsoever only if you want to get a few boosts or high is fine in my book ok moving on I play original war tortoise and I LOVE and I mean I LOVE the territory’s and the turtle walking to each one I haven’t played a lot of the game yet and might come back and change this but always gonna be one of the top if not best free mobile game.

Absurdly top-quality idle game. I play tons of idle games- to the point that if you can name it, I’ve most likely put well over 300hrs into it. This idle game has some of the greatest mechanics in place that I’ve seen in any I’ve played. Amazing. Superb. I dropped money on it Not because I needed to, but because the developer deserved to get paid. I did, however, come across one particularly small problem- the free gem reward system is broken. 90% of the offers send you to redirect upon redirect without ever completing or granting the reward. But that’s not a big issue in this game, as grabbing the miner and pack mouse mutations give plenty of gems to use anyhow. Not to mention conquering gem mines. All in all, this game is far more deserving of fame than any other idle game. Try it out, and keep in mind to mutate your miners so they can get you gems!

Absolutely Incredible!. I originally downloaded this game as a joke because I thought it was funny that it was about a tortoise with guns. After a day I realized that I was wrong an this was actually a fun game. I have been playing this game for almost a week now and am still not bored. There is always something new to unlock and somewhere new to go. I have never reached a point where there are no new locations on the map. The upgrades are also extremely balanced. Every upgrade is affordable and easy to get without money. I have spent $0.00 on this game and I am on generation 16 with 9.07b armor and 7.09b health with an all time high level of 132. Overall, this game is incredibly balanced and always has something for you to do.

It’s okay but needs a few things added. Upgrade on storage of food, 10 is too little of an amount. The cost of some evolutions is crazy, like 10k for max level of miners I think. Haven’t even gotten close yet. Something to spend gems on late game because they build up and I don’t want anymore mutations or gear because legendary is impossible to get. A way to upgrade gear to make it legendary or make it more relevant. I have super old legendary that I can’t get rid of because I’ll never get them again. A way to turn off passives. Sometimes I want to delay the game for the mouse miners to work for a better chance at getting something good. An auto revive please A way to accept the “new war rank” so when I come back a little while later it’s not still there, like how the advertising boxes that are picked up are auto collected normally. I could see it in a notification later if needed Some better non-offensive heroes that I can use whenever, not when I need not damage.

Great game, but.... So I have no complaints about the content of the game. War Tortoise is one of the best mobile games I have ever played and I would give this game 5 stars... the only complaint is that the game crashes every time I play- without fail. That may be because I’m playing it on an iPhone 6, but even so, I don’t think a game should crash every single time i play it. Out of all the games I have, it is the only one that consistently crashes. There is a TON of content, so the playability is endless; I just don’t like it when the game won’t let me play it. Otherwise great game, highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!

I do not recommend the game as is. It’s a good game, great gameplay loop, load of upgrades that don’t feel worthless and three separate modes that add to each other. The problem is there is currently a 50/50 on whether you get the good version of the game or the bad version of the game. The good version has daily resources you can collect from buildings you built and upgraded. The version I’m stuck in as far as i have seen has no compensation in any way shape or form for removing it. You will feel it when trying to make buildings as some of them cost gems to make and I don’t have daily gem mines. I really feel like that would be the one resource I would still be able to collect but nope no dailies. I did reach out and they said they are gonna change it so you can swap between the versions. In 1.6 and it would restart my progress. so I don’t really see a point for me to play as I would prefer to be on that version. For anyone new to this just know you ARE gambling on whether or not you will get the first version before you can do anything. TLDR good game, horrible practices from the game company basically spitting the community in half with two different versions of the game

Absolute BS. Ok, so I liked this game at first. It was cool. Different upgrades and enhancements, it was an engaging and far more entertaining game than classic idle games. But one day, I was playing, and tried to go to another location. I was in auto fire mode, trying to count my soldiers because I wasn’t sure if I had lost one or not. And the game just froze. I waited with my phone plugged in for at least 20 minutes, and it just stayed frozen. So I reloaded the app, and it wouldn’t load. I restarted my phone, the game loaded great, and put me right back at the very beginning. I had lost everything. My soldiers, my Mk. 5 Tortoise, my rare and epic weapons, everything was gone. And I was right back at the beginning. So, some may not have had this problem, and probably love it. But this experience made this game a 1 Star from me.

War tortoise= EPICNESS (aka best game ever). War tortoise is the best game ever created! It is kinda better the roblox! You get to unlock hero's,troops,power ups, and more! And super realistic! (Sry if I did not put the 2 in the title) you can travel to lands and explore! And while your at it, once you have completed the tutorial, you can play out-o mode! The game has graphics, and I case your little there is no blood! It is a very great game :] I support war tortoise I I and you should to! And while your offline you can earn money while doing absolutely nothing :3 P.S. thx creator!

Love the game, just one thing. Personally I love this game, a solid free game that doesn’t shove adds down your throat. One of the only games I’m actually willing to spend a few dollars on every now and then. Although, I just have one suggestion. I think the game would look so much cooler if you were facing down the front of the tortoise, and the enemies came at you from the front. It would look a lot cooler and make more sense in my opinion, because if you zoom out, it really feels underwhelming. we have all this space and just have the enemies come from one direction 20 yards away while we move in another. This game is good though overall and I would highly recommend playing it

Crashing almost everytime. The game just keeps crashing, sometimes for legit reasons but other times it just smacks you on the forehead and says bye, and kicks you out. If your going to the you’re away money the game will crash and you have to go back into app just for the game to crash. I tried to put the lowest detail, the lowest resolution but it doesn’t make a single difference! If the devs please fix this problem i will be happy but for now. I have to stick with the app crashing all the time. :( P.S. if you stay camping so you can do you’re upgrades, or get the cash crates or maybe you’re regenerating because u bout to die. The game will just crash, no happy ending, thats final. But the game is really solid, with its objectives and action, where the humans are apparently extinct?? AWESOME SEQUEL! But 1 suggestion... Hello! This may be relatively small, or tiny even, compared to the other responses. I love the concept of the game, being both active, and idle. I have 1 small suggestion. Since there is now the war supply feature, I would love to see cosmetic upgrades with not the heavy weapon additions, but the primary weapon upgrade for the units. What I am saying, is that the guns will change appearance when you apply that specific upgrade. For example, take the mouse rangers. If you upgrade the primary weapon via war supplies, maybe like level 2 could be like a SMG, level 3 could be an LMG, and so on and so on. Then, apply this concept to all of the other units you can get. That is all I have to say for now! I would love to see you add this concept in game, as it gives he game an even better feeling than before. Please respond if you can, as I love having feedback. Simply Perfect. I loved the first game! When it showed me that there was a War Tortoise 2 was coming out I questioned “How could they make it possibly better than the original?” Well they did it with a map and locations that grant bonuses, equipment to help strengthen your tortoise or your allies, mutations that help you through the hardest battles, and the ability to make fast travel points or construct buildings for unique bonuses at the locations you have discovered! This game took the original War Tortoise and made it so you can play it for hours on end and still have more to do! I am excited to see what the future holds for the War Tortoise franchise.

Great game but one bug issue. This game is incredible for upgrading tons of power and units, if you have high level turrets and war tortoise mutation bonus, you can just let go manual aim, sit back and watch. Now I’m at a point where my Pack Mouse unit starts bugging. They won’t give me overall wave bonus money anymore, they’ll just keep stacking them over levels. Even if I ascend, they’re still bugged. Devs, if you’re reading this, please fix the Pack Mouse unit.

Thoughts a tips. Well honestly the game is very entertaining and addictive it gets difficult fast but we learn from our mistakes. It’s best to absorb as much information as possible within gameplay to plan ahead within each generation. The ad rewards aren’t as annoying as other games and all provide rewards and/or temporary buffs that keeps you on the edge to decide wether to push forward or rest. Not much info is given on units or upgrades other than damage per second and fire speed etc. would be useful for once unlocking a new unit a brief explanation on what each unit does similar to the locations we have to capture, would help make the game interesting. Other than that like I said the game itself is fun.

Good game one annoying bug. I loved the first War tortoise game and I love this one I don’t really like how they tripled the amount of cash options to buy stuff but it can all be obtained at a steady pace when grinding the only thing I really have to gripe about is there is this glitch which makes some enemies go very far behind the tortoise and you can’t hit them! So you have to sit there and wait for it to die by a melee unit who does no damage other than that great game but it eats battery so be prepared with a good phone that won’t turn into a nuclear reactor when you start playing

My Honest Opinion. First of all I rarely write reviews, this is the second one I have writing out of tens of thousands of games that I have played. In my complete honest opinion this is the BEST MOBILE GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED! If you are looking for a fun game that will last you countless hours of entertainment, look no further than War Tortoise. I have never seen anything else like this rare gem of the mobile gaming world. I have a seventh generation tortoise, just to show you how much I love this game. This game is surprisingly underrated for being so good. I have very few recommendations for this game because of its outstanding quality. Devs, if you are reading this I beg you to come out with a third game.

The thing is.... The game is good, and I like it a lot, it’s just that I would like the ability to move yourself. If that was added in, then I would like it a lot. Also, (and you don’t have to do this) it would be super cool if you could travel to different planets with different enemy’s, and the gravity would effect the speed and range of the bullet. Adding on to the gravity thing, it would be cool if there was a physics challenge or something where you would have to slingshot it or something, kind of like Angry Birds. That is all I have to say.

This is AMAZING. So I used to play the first one all the time and I wanted to download it again as a flashback and have those good times again but whenever I saw this one I was like “no way... there is no way this is real... the turtle actually moves now??” I really love it so much. This is way better. The controls are better, everything just feels so real, smooth, stable, and the battle music is so epic. Makes you feel like you are in an actual war. This literally made my night. I could play this for hours without any breaks!! Thank y’all for making the second one. If anyone wants a single player game whenever they are bored, having a bad day or just to pass time, this game is it! I hope this stays around for a really long time!! This is in my iPhone 11 for good :)

Spectacular. There’s a lot of nitpicks I have with this game - a sign of how much I’ve been enjoying it over the past 24hrs. Money mining is capped (and pretty OP when you figure it out) progression slows down significantly at the ~6hr point, I wish there was better naming and enemy variety... However, this is the best idle game on the market right now and I hope to see it grow or get an expansion. Flash game on crack, fireworks spectacle, how’d I spend 5hrs playing this instead of RDR2/LoU/HS/Fortnite type of game. Full disclosure, I bought the “ad free” package for $3-4 around an hour in because I wanted to support the devs for an awesome game. I don’t think it was necessary given the limited number of ads, but fully think it’s worth the price of a beer.

Oh my god. This game is incredible to the likes I have never seen. First off, it brings memories of games from years ago, in a game from this week. That’s almost impossible to do! Except for you guys, of course. I have always admired you pact of brothers, making games on the App Store that deserve to be on a PC. Your games have taken up so much of my life, that it’s crazy! Of course, the time was well spent. The games you make, which keep in mind are free, are just incredible. Take Noblemen for example. The game is a grand strategy game. Except it’s free. And it’s better than ones you have to buy on computers. I am taken aback by your works of technology and art. You make masterpieces, with what is expected by most to be the bottom of the barrel. Honestly....What? 5/5. Having never played the original, I was looking through the App Store, came across this and just completely lost it. I legitimately was laughing until my stomach ached. You ride a tortoise, which has armour, and you and your fellow creatures shoot other creatures with machine guns, rockets, missiles, etc. This game is so stupid it actually is amazing. It’s a game that will just make you smile every time you play it. Well done developer. Side Note: This is one of the few “free” games that you can enjoy beyond a couple hours. I’ve played this for a few hours now and love it.

I gave 1 star for attention: bug issue. I’m having an issue where I’m on 9 conquer points and to get the 10th one i need to take over a crystal mine or something but it won’t let me attack it or even click on it to go to it. And it’s the last thing I need to conquer. This is stopping me from progressing. Am I missing something? Or is this a bug? Anyways 5/5 stars awesome game, love it

Better than original but.... Honestly this game is really fun. The different locations really adds a bit more to the game than straight idle. Unfortunately I cannot enjoy it, as I am playing on a an old phone. A 5s I think. The game crashes more often as the numbers get higher, and now I am in the AA what ever that stands for, and the game crashes on opening. This is on lowest graphic setting and without mobile data or wifi. Oh and for some reason the game does not like me looking at the heroes. That a guaranteed crash. I do understand that I have an old phone, but I have seen some amazing new games that run smoothly on it.

Careful now.... This was once one of my favourite games, and still is (just a touch lower on the list now). I downloaded dozens, if not hundreds of games; this being amongst the few to remain. It however gets closer to the point I dread—the point of greed. More is being added to siphon our pockets and I just find it a little disheartening; the newest edition is SEASONS. 10 out of 10 100%. The game is amazing with fishing and new weapons for the assault squad and the rangers is awesome. It was the figure of Dick Greenway. Dick was a friendly saint with fragile elbows and sticky hands. Chicken gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a deranged, sympathetic, cocoa drinker with fragile elbows and brown hands. His friends saw him as a dripping, doubtful doctor. Once, he had even saved a prickly old man that was stuck in a drain. But not even a deranged person who had once saved a prickly old man that was stuck in a drain, was prepared for what Dick had in store today. The sun shone like jumping frogs, making Chicken barmy. As Chicken stepped outside and Dick came closer, he could see the knobby glint in his eye. "I am here because I want a mattress," Dick bellowed, in a cold-blooded tone. He slammed his fist against Chicken's chest, with the force of 1225 rats. "I frigging hate you, Chicken McNugget." Chicken looked back, even more barmy and still fingering the minuscule record. "Dick, I am your father," he replied. They looked at each other with delighted feelings, like two afraid, adventurous aardvarks swimming at a very considerate birthday party, which had jazz music playing in the background and two courageous uncles sitting to the beat. Suddenly, Dick lunged forward and tried to punch Chicken in the face. Quickly, Chicken grabbed the minuscule record and brought it down on Dick's skull. Dick's fragile elbows trembled and his sticky hands wobbled. He looked cross, his body raw like a snotty, sad sandwich. Then he let out an agonising groan and collapsed onto the ground. Moments later Dick Greenway was dead. Chicken McNugget went back inside and made himself a nice mug of cocoa. THE END Also thought the game was pretty good

War Tortoise 2 - Perfect Idle Game. So far (albeit I’m only a few hours into playing), between the beautiful graphics, exciting and engaging gameplay and interaction and with no ads or pop ups/pressure for micro transactions, War Tortoise is shaping up to be one of the best idle games I’ve experienced on mobile. Pros: Beautiful graphics Engaging gameplay No ads or pop ups for micro transactions Moderate battery consumption Endless fun! Cons: Difficulty progression ramps up a bit too quickly (not to the extent it’s not fun to play or need for pay to win though) Needs a bit more variety in aesthetic customisability Overall definitely worth your time and 5 stars!

Pretty good. This is a good mobile game, and it clearly has had effort put in to improve on the original. However, I have encountered an issue where if your pilot reaches max level, and you don’t have enough gems to upgrade him, the game will repeatedly spam you with the tutorial. This seriously gets in the way of gameplay since you can’t ignore it. It says that you fixed this in your patch notes, but I still encounter it.

New graphics, new AI, new concepts like forward motion and increased field of view. I played the bajebus out of WT1. In WT2, I’m only on my 5th mission and was greatly compelled to write a review. War Tortoise 2 brings back the classic elements from the original game that you know and love, while adding new elements such as base-building, story/campaign, and most noticeably exploration, to create the ABSOLUTE BEST SEQUEL ever made by Foursaken Media. This is a game that you SHOULD DOWNLOAD RIGHT NOW! PROS (Most Noticeable): This game is so great that there are many awesome features about it, and so here are the best features of this game in my opinion. FIRST AND FOREMOST, and this is by far extremely important for some casual gamers, this game has NO POP-UP ADS! How ads work in-game is via a chest drop, which grant various bonuses after you watch the ad. You have the choice to not watch the ads with no penalty, but if you want something extra, you might want to watch one or two to stay ahead. You can also make an IAP to permanently remove the ads and get the bonuses for free. (Early game tip #1: look for the ads that grant you purchase discounts or lots of money.) SECOND, the exploration and base-building aspect of this game. The map that shows areas where your tortoise can explore is vast, meaning endless hours of exploring. Additionally, it’s not confirmed to be optimized for any mobile device yet. However, there is a battery saver mode that will disable all graphics settings except graphics quality in exchange of less battery drain. If you intend to play this game for a long period of time, and especially on the go, either play this game in short to moderate intervals or use a battery bank if you already have one. SECOND, since this game is still a recent release, you should expect to experience MANY crashes, bugs, or glitches as you play. If you do encounter any bugs while playing, you can submit a bug report via settings. (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you do this whenever possible, so the devs can patch it up in the next update ASAP.) Like the original but with more content and it has an actual story. The game now has a map where your tortoise can travel around and can capture bases to get more things. It also has a more advanced upgrade system than before. The only issue I had was that the new ways to upgrade were a little bit confusing at first. The only other issue I had was that it now costs in game money which you don’t have to buy with real life money to revive some units if they die. But overall the upgrades and the new features are great and make the game more interesting.

Game’s mint. Probably played for 24 hours and it just released a couple days ago 10/10. Just wish I could speed up time like the last one

Everything thing a great sequel should be !!. Except one that runs smooth. Booted out repeatedly to the point I have changed all settings as low as I can and still booted out annoyingly often. While trying to play, middle of fights, even while just upgrading weapons.

Hooked. Loved the 1st one. Good new features. I like the story concept(rodents characters) and the areas to capture and zones to explore.

Booo. I just got the game and I went to play it and it kicks me out the moment I click on it and won’t let me play.

Some weird bug.... For some reason, it turned all enemies and crates to allies , giving them names such as “garrison” for some reason after I rebirthed. Fixed after restarted the app

Average.. A typical idle game. The evolution system is too common in these games. Not that great but not that bad... The 3D graphics are okay but makes you dizzy after a while and using unnecessary battery. Playable enjoyable at first.

Cool. Pretty nice game, wish it was on PC

Bigger and better than the original. Just from the first few levels I can clearly see improvements that the original game never had. There is a huge world with lots of levels, of which you have to travel to. Many pilots to pick from; each sporting their own unique abilities and mechanics. The tortoise itself is much more customizable with an updated weapon system and a new generation system. Overall this game is a magnificent sequel to its predecessor, and I am excited to see where it goes.

War Tortoise 2 is even better then expected. - much more interesting game play with objectives and rewards that add more variety to your game play - better graphics and visuals including camera angles and unit camera follow on the battle field. - Only thing I’m not a fan of is the longer wait for your allies to come back after death

Fun game when it works. I played the game on another platform and had a lot of fun with it. This version is just broken though. I cannot load the game past 46%, it just asks me if I want to load my cloud save but hard locks. Update: i can now load up the game. It doesn’t matter though, I keep getting an error message pop-up saying that the game cannot connect to the server to download my save file. Not being able to cloud save is annoying, but one thing I can’t look past is the annoying tutorial with no way to disable it. It’s one of those tutorials that hard-lock the game until you push the exact button they want you to. I know how to play the game, just let me go into the options and mute the freaking game.... so annoying.

Like the original but with more features. I think that adding a map and seeing the tortoise move through levels is cool but honestly I preferred the graphics of the first game (for the bullets and the tortoise). But overall I like the game.

It’s way better than the last and it doesn’t get boring and progress doesn’t die down in like a day my only problem is that the performance after level 50 starts to plummet probably because there is so much happening and the stats get really high but yea if you fix that I would say 5/5 stars if you fix the performance at high levels.

Apparently obtain money by fraud!. After I devote a bunch of time and money in this game, I got defeated by a boss, and the game force me to restart the game by “reborn” instead of keep my gaming progress. I can see there is a option for me just pay some money and get my health back and keep going, but the game just don’t let me do that. The only option I can take is “reborn”, even the game keep all my loot and leveling but I lost my game process.... Already uninstalled the game!

Really awesome!. Hello Foursaken media, I would like to congratulate you and your crew on the creation of your game, I can see how much hard work and effort you put into the creation of this game. I love the idea of incorporating a map into the game, therefore being able to travel across the world, trying to find the final 4 bosses. Very good graphics and a few things I suggest you fix and/or incorporate into the game. Firstly, it world be great if you were to fix some of the lag. As you progress further into the game, it does get quite laggy, but can be fixed easily. Secondly, try to add more of a simple and detailed tutorial near the beginning of the game and/ or a “help page” telling you what all the wide variety of symbols mean. When I first got the game, I was extremely confused with the mechanics and all the different abilities, mutations, DNA, tortoise armour, etc. I did end up understanding them after a while. Just let on adding updates every one in a while, and I’ll be playing this game for quite a while! Good job!!! Adam

Keeps crashing, great game but pls fix!. This game (from what I’ve gotten to play) is really fun. At the beginning I could play it for like ten maybe fifteen minutes if I’m lucky without it crashing. But now I log into it it and literally five seconds into getting into the game it crashes, its just getting worse and worse, can someone PLEASE help me, I loved the first game and got everything in it, now I have a whole, bunch of good stuff in this game but can’t even play it.😢

Can’t play due to pilot / hero upgrade.. The only complaint I have about this game is that when I’m playing and I have a pilot or hero at max level Im Literally not allowed to do anything until I upgrade my pilot or hero and if I don’t it just continuously prompts me to do so and stops my gameplay. And if I don’t have enough war gems it’s either I purchase some or try to get a an “offer” for some which rarely even works.

Phone heating up. I really love this game and all of its aspects and can not wait for more updates, but the only problem is that even when I have battery saver mode and low graphics on my phone gets really hot. If don’t know whether this is a problem with the game or my phone, but it’s a great game nonetheless.

All around very good!. This game is a great mix of an action shooter, idle clicker, and an adventure game. The mechanics are fun and suit the game well. My absolute only criticism is I find on some maps (especially at night) it’s hard to see everything. I understand that’s kind of the point, but saturating all the colors a bit more and making the shaded and nighttime settings a little brighter would make the game easier on the players eyes.

Controller support. There is some controller support, but with the new update there is a free roam area, but with the controller you can’t move with the controller, I only wish they would add some extended features with a controller, I just use a regular Xbox one controller and it works great with the tortoise, but when controlling the mouse I wish they would update it

Fun but repetitive. Game style is similar to most afk rpg games action is a bit more cool and dramatic but core gameplay is same. You farm, upgrade units and weapons and level up farmers. Problems: legendary weapon from starter pack does less dmg than a uncommon weapon i got from afking. What???? Energy does not regen when u close the game. Notification ! Never goes away unless u buy the packs and stuff, or complete the mission or upgrade ur unit. Annoying as hell. The core gameplay gets stale fast, accidently close tutorial messages becuase they appear randomly during game play while im pressing things, VERY lack luster reincarnation system, needs online pvp, coop, team play. Doesnt explain how weapons work (only one ranger gets a weapon u equip ex. Only one ranger gets laser rifle while the rest had regular weapons), cooking system buffs are very lackluster, not sure how to get items/weapons for war tortoise except by closing game and afking (need a better farm system, explainations)

Unexpected Gem. This game is honestly fantastic. With a title like War Tortoise 2, I thought I might be in for a couple hours of a mediocre game, but this is one of the most fun mobile apps I have played. It is well put together with a refreshingly unique concept. You’re not bombarded with ads, or even poorly placed banners. The game looks amazing, though it does have some graphical issues on my phone, which is admittedly a good few years old now. All in all, great game. Highly recommended

Turtle overpowered. I bought the starter pack thing cuz I liked the game and wanted to support it while also getting good items. But it gives you a legendary gun that just one shots everything. Raid bosses, EVERYTHING. So I decided to not use it, and use one I got from turtle supplies. But as I got more turrets and things my turtle became stupidly overpowered really fast. It’s always been 99% of my damage and I can’t unequip the turrets since I only have four. It’s disappointing cuz even if I invest all my money in support units they still have <1% of my damage.

Really Great Idle Game. Probably the best idle game I’ve ever played. It doesn’t follow the same stupid formula that most of the games follow and it really feels like the devs put a lot of time and effort into crafting a fun and extremely engaging game. It has actual progression and a good story as well. Thank you for making such a good game devs! P.S. the one gripe I do have is the tortoise upgrades quickly become irrelevant as you unlock other unit that do exponentially more damage and I would like to see more balancing.

Pls more update.. I know I’m asking you to update a game that’s not even this one but this one is one of the games do you have updated most recently and I want to ask if you can update like heroes and castles heroes company and other old games that you have used but never have updated in a long time. Don’t get me wrong I really love your games it’s just that I would like you to update the games I love playing

Fun... for awhile. Level 24 and 32nd generation here with around $220 into the game. It’s an enjoyable twist on tower defense. The depth of the game is very impressive, with a vast array of modification options for both your primary and secondary characters. One problem is that randomly a “Boss” will occur that is disproportionately powerful and will instantly kill you, if you are doing “to well”. Another problem is the number of levels required to finish. It can range from 100-1,400, becomes very tedious and will quickly run your battery dry.

Great Time-Killer. This is my Favorite Mobile Game that isn’t Clash Royale, cause all I can play was clash royale all day at school but now this game I finally found is really tiny and doesn’t rack my brains every 5 minutes. Definitely recommend this game if you’re looking for another game other than Clash Royale.

I love it. I really am enjoying your game. It's great in so many aspects. A big laggy when things get hectic but that's to be expected. In all honesty, I loved your first game but now with the ability to explore a map and still have the enjoyment of destroying every single of the enemies is just great. Keep updating this game and never let it die. It's a great game to pass some time.

Overdrive+Quick Load=Broken. Overdrive was really cool at first, i could get up to around Overdrive 17 on most runs and my highest i’ve ever seen was Overdrive 23. My problem is the Missile Toad’s Quick Load perk. Whenever quick load triggers, it doesn’t actually count as reloading, so if you can’t use a whole clip of your primary ammo each wave, you’re not gaining overdrive and you got double-screwed on a perk that seemed cool. Also i thought it was a perk for the toad, since it’s one of the toad’s perks. Please fix this. As of now, with the Quick Load bug, my overdrive only gets to 7 or 9. This kinda ruins it for me, making the tortoise even less useful than it already was

Too many useless updates. This is a great game for wasting time at work because I can leave it running and go do something else. Unfortunately, every single update is 1.5GB which is the exact same size as the game! This means you have to completely redownload the game every single time they put an update out. They update almost every day. I really hope the developers read this and realize they are ruining their own game by making their players redownload the entire game every single day!

BUGGED But Great, Help!. I don’t have tons to say about the game, it’s great and amazingly improves on the first game greatly! But I’m stuck! I’m at the point where my first hero is max level but I don’t have enough tokens to upgrade him. I continuously get a pop up saying to upgrade my hero and it prevents me from clicking anything else on the screen! Plus, the only way to get free tokens is through achievements and the free token survey scams that never work. Please help!

I love it. Honestly I saw this on coming soon and I could not wait to see what was in store when it was available. I played war tortoise and it was the one game I never got bored of, so when I reyes war tortoise 2 I was amazed by all the new features and it’s so much better I’m proud of the creators and how far they brought this game I can’t wait to see what the future hold for this game.

Best idler around. Loving the game, only a few issues and most if not all are minor. Biggest issue for me personally is the pay jump in war supplies. Also didn’t get the new hero after the latest update, even though I’ve purchased the option to unlock all current and future heroes. All in all, fantastic game.

You never know what your really needed in life until you see it and apparently I needed a second ear tortoise 😂. One thing I remember from the first one was the auto play feature? Is it gone??

Loved the game to much. Well I love this game so much that I spent like 50$ bucks now 😅but honestly cant recommend it enough and you don’t have to pay to win like I did :P, so in short play this game 😁P.s i recommend getting at least the starter offer helps get the ball rolling but you don’t need it if you don’t want to spend a few bucks.

Amazing Sequel. I have over 500 hours on the first game and this one is an amazing improvement. I love the new map system where you can travel with your army conquering all the enemy territories in your way. You can tell that that the developers put lots of love and time into this game and it definitely shows. I can’t wait to see what they do next to make this game even more amazing. 👍

Not Fun to Play. This game is fun for a little bit, but after you start getting into the higher tiers it gets stupid. When starting out enemies can whittle down your HP, forcing you to use the camping mechanic to maintain your HP and this is good. Once you get into the late game however, enemies will spawn and instantly one shot you, it doesn’t matter what armor you have or how much damage you deal, they will appear and instantly one shot you, ending that run no matter how much fun you are having. Thankfully the game does not force micro transactions and ads down your throat, but that doesn’t matter because the core game itself is not fun.

Works Offline!. Very entertaining, lots of depth, and totally free to play. I ended up purchasing the ad-free experience because I honestly would pay that for this game and it made it so much more immersive. All the ad stuff comes free after that. Kept me plenty entertained on a 10 hour flight. Highly recommend!

Love it ....but. I think that war tortoise 2 is better then the 1st one in terms of gameplay, BUT at the moment war tortoise 2 has some pretty nasty LAG. Now I am running this game on a iPhone XS. And also please note that whale l was using the game for about 20/30 minutes my phone (iPhone XS) was getting a little hot. Really cool game. I really like this game, I downloaded this before the corona virus hit Florida and it has been the only thing keeping me company because it’s so addictive to just keep playing and leveling up, however I have noticed that the Artillery Beatles can shoot at flying enemies? Isn’t that a violation of the Geneva Convention? 😂😂 ether way I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who’s bored out of their mind and feeling lonely right now.

Excellent Job. I have played the first one since it came out and was always amazed with it. The amount of content in the second game is going to keep me having fun on the go for months. The did an excellent job at the progression and content and can’t wait to see what is to come.

Great sequel. A few issues. After the debacle of Block Fortress Empire, I was happy to see that this developer hasn’t totally gone downhill. This is a good game. I spent 10$ and I feel that it’s worth it. I won’t be spending anymore. One issue I have is the scale of upgrades. Some give bonuses like 13x damage, but others give bonuses like “adds 3.73k% damage”. This makes it hard to understand how much it is actually increasing. Please just use a basic multiplier, and not percentages.

Amazing. First off you guys make amazing games, block fortress was my childhood. I never really played the first war tortoises but when I saw I could pre order your guys newest game I signed up as soon as possible. This game is amazing and the whole walking from place to place while protecting your tortoise is amazing I’ve never seen a game mechanic like this ever you guys are killing it I hope you keep supporting the game.

Ridiculously awesome war game. I found this game on the “Our Favorite Games Of The Month”. It is very ridiculous and hilarious. I got it because it looked fun to play, but now I realize it is amazing and A awesome war game. I like it because of the customizable options and features and the heroes like the ant eater or the crab, the turtle armor and the guns. I’m impressed with Foursaken Media and the game! Wow. Just Wow, this game is a clear upgrade from the first game. The sheer amount of “upgrading ” you can do is sorta overwhelming, but after you play for a while you get used to everything. I noticed that this game takes more space than the other one, But I can definitely see why. 5/5 game, will play till doomsday...

It’s fun for a while, then turns into repetitive freemium stuff. It’s an okay concept, but it’s nearly impossible to advance without a lot of active play, and the active play is the same stuff happening over and over and over again. It’s also aggravating that the internal clock is slow - when it says a Hero character is on a mission for 16 hours, you can come back two days later and it’ll be down to 3 hours. The game will give you a daily goal to play for ten minutes, and even if you just leave the game running, it’ll take 20+ minutes to complete. It’s an elaborate Skinner box.

It’s good but …. I know they have to implement strategies to make people make in game purchases, however this last update seemed to nerf the heck out of gold keys used to get character tokens. Before that even, they took away the ability to upgrade characters with out buying keys. Devs keep pulling the rug out from under the players feet, that just shows no consideration or loyalty to their current player base. Please find some better way to make revenue other than screwing over the players.

My honest opinion. One of the best mobile games i have ever played and probably the best idle game out there but its not just and idle game it has fps functions and a fishing mechanic, if i could change even one thing about this game it would be that the fishing mechanic is kinda flunky even though it is very enjoyable its kinda hard to learn how to time the hooks right anyways i would rate this game a 10/10.

Was good then got greedy. I’ve been playing the game for about a week and it was pretty interesting and fun. The grind was about expected. Previously, you could max out your miners within a day as long as you leveled them up every so often. Now with the latest “balance changes”, the miners have been made to where you can’t level them easily anymore (so less income, more grinding) and it seems the mutations esp. related to resources have become more expensive. Thanks for the brief fun. For me, the game was a 4 or 5 before the update.

WAR TORTOISE. I didn’t play war tortoise one but I do love this game, the reason I got into it was because my friend can’t pronounce Pokémon correctly and the stage one form of squirrel was wartortle and my friend pronounced it war tortoise so I then looked it up because yes funny haha yumm and then boom I heard it is game and then I was yum and looked it up and then boom pre order for war tortoise 2 and then I did a little dance and peed a little yummy cat pee I done did it to them and stole their chez and mad dog stole my sneeze thanks I will be here all week folks

Scam Sweepstakes Offers. I love War Tortoise and this iteration in the franchise is well made. I don’t mind the IAPs either. Great way to make money as a developer. However, I do object to the “Free Gems” offer button as it leads you to a network of offers, many of which require you to complete a number of decidedly not free sub offers. It’s a scam and a disappointing addition to War Tortoise 2. I realize I don’t have to click the button. I am objecting to the practice of including the spam offers in a game of this caliber, one that is easily very profitable without associating with these questionable partners. This is just my opinion. If we just ignore the problem, it will never go away.

Great game. I was expecting more changes like better graphics and better controls. Still a phenomenal game props to the developers for again not making another pay to win and actually putting descent elbow grease! I also wanna mention where I said I was shopping for better graphics, the graphics have definitely improved and I’m glad to see it! Again no hate to you guys you did an amazing job!

Awesome but one exploit I noticed. First of all I absolutely love this game it’s so much better then most of the cheaply produced junk on the App Store these days, but I felt like pointing this out THE EXPLOIT: When you upgrade your miner I right away noticed that it would produce insane amounts of cash, all you would need to do is set up cam for 15 minutes and upgrade your miner. If you did this you could get into the trillions of dollars in just 15-20 minutes of playing.

Fast Fix. There was a lighting issue that was fixed within a day, the devs are on top of it. I am not a huge fan of the game itself, it has the same problems as the first game, where both the tortoise and the enemies can one shot each other, and you die unless you spawn kill. However, the game a very pretty, and it does not push purchases to advance.

When I played for the first 5 minutes it was fine but when I tried to get a miner or go upgrade it just kicked me out of the game and the same thing happened when I played my old iPad but it just kicked me out of the game when I tried to open it so that’s why I got a new iPad that I’m on right now but it still kicks me out of the game 😢

Paywall. The game is kind of a glorified tapper. It’s a really cool outlook on the genre and the graphics are pretty sweet. My frustration stems from the paywall problem. You can’t progress past a certain point without restarting or spending money. The point that I uninstalled was when I had gone afk for 12+ hours and when I returned instead of a “watch this ad to get an extra X amount of currency” I got an offer to watch an ad and I could “try out a hero that costs $ for X seconds and then get a discount to buy him with $”... I just started playing the game and haven’t decided if I want to spend money yet (I usually don’t). So don’t try to force me to buy something instead of giving me extra cash for away money bonus. Hopefully that made sense.

A solid f2p tower defense game. It’s so nice to see a game made by devs who’s actually care about their players. progression is fair you get new equipment for free, and a lot of keys to get new equipment as well. There’s a good way to farm the secondary currencies, so you don’t feel forced to pay. No ads or timers being forced down your throat (only a few here and there) overall really good game made by developers who aren’t greedy.

The worst aspect of games, distilled into good games. Grinding upgrades is the most tedious aspect of most games. This game makes an entire game of grinding and is oddly cathartic as a result. Unfortunately, grinding does get boring so you won’t get hours of enjoyment out of this. Like pay-to-play grinders, you’re essentially forced to pay for upgrading to about being bored. That said, I love the idea of tortoise going to war. It makes total sense.

Would be 5 stars but…. This is a great game to pass the time. It doesn’t need WiFi or data to play and is extremely addictive. However, I have noticed various bugs within the game. I would get into them however I want to keep this review short and sweet. In conclusion, great game, needs bug fixes, would recommend to download

Fun game but.... Love love love the game it is fun it is engaging but when you buy the starter pack it kind of ruins the game because then it’s more like a walk around no effort game and so I think that’s really ruins the game for especially for new people so if you do get it I wouldn’t recommend getting the starter pack until you’re into it or at least buying a pack like the starter pack until you’re farther into the game otherwise great game

It’s great but.... I have been waiting for a sequel to the first and I got it. The graphics have been ramped up and gameplay is at its peak but I constantly get crashed back to my home screen. I don’t know why but it happened in the first and now it’s happening now I noticed that when I look at this game in the tab view it’s trying to load an ad, this has been happening since the first game. The game focuses too much on bringing me that dumb ad for a game I won’t ever play and as a result crashes itself instead. I would greatly appreciate if you fix this.

Good game, but the crashes.. Don’t know if it’s my device or if it’s some bug, but the game keeps crashing every 10 mins I think, anyways I’m enjoying the gameplay so far, but there can be some improvements here and there, but so far, it’s really worth time playing.

Great game but. I just started playing and it is quite a lot of fun but there is no color the sky has color there are dirt particles and stuff but mainly everything is just black and I don’t know if it’s my problem or what but it is very annoying. Other than that it is so much fun hopefully it’s just a bug that needs squashed.

Glitch(?). I loved the first game. This one looks amazing and has some interesting new mechanics. That being said I’m giving one star because I’ve run into what I hope is just a glitch and not intentional. My mouse commando pilot reached max level and the game keeps forcing me to go to the upgrade page. It costs 20 gems to upgrade which I can’t afford. I can’t play until I upgrade but I can’t upgrade without playing. The alternative is to spend real money which I will not do just to bypass a glitch. I like the game and would give 5 stars but I can’t play because of this
