Same as the rest. I used to love this game… once you start increasing in levels, the game does not get harder, you simply get worse hands, your partner becomes completely useless, and you cannot get a nil. It is extremely unfortunate that they cannot find a way to increase the difficulty level without taking away the joy of the game. There is no point in playing when you know that your opponents will bid seven or eight every hand, then nil, while you are stuck, bidding, three or four. It’s a shame. This was my go to game for Spades. I guess I will try to have to find another one. I am deleting. This is the second time I’ve giving it a try.

Does multiplayer really involve other humans?. I ask because the vast majority of my hands are roughly the same. I have just enough high cards so that I can’t go nil, and am stuck bidding 1 a lot. Or I’ll have Ace in a couple of suits and then the Q of Spades singleton. It’s rare for me to get a really good hand, and in 66 multiplayer games I think I’ve had AKQ of spades ONCE. I’m no math major but a preponderance of hands like this makes me feel like it’s not at all random, and that I’m playing against bots in multiplayer mode. Overall a great game but it does seem tilted against me.

Love this game, but…. The app is great and the interface is really good. Better than other spades games I have tried. However, I started noticing my partner throwing hands and at times the opponents are being dealt nil hands on nearly every deal. Seems kinda fishy. I made it well past level 1,000 but when I end up playing against three opponents instead of two, I deleted the app. Thought of giving it a second chance, but upon reinstalling, all my previous game data is gone. Was good while it lasted. Pay attention to how your partner plays though. They should be playing to win, not throwing hands.

Greta game. The bots are smart, but not too smart. They’ll remember when a suit has been cut by spades previously by the other team. Your partner and opponents play the hand smart when there’s a NIL involved, but not so smart that they auto predict each others hands, you can still break your opponents nils. The ads are just the pop up and close ads, not the annoying ones you have to watch and hit the x to get out of 3-4 times to close it. No ads during gameplay just between hands/after games. Overall a smooth, aesthetically pleasing offline spades game. What would be awesome in a spades app would be the ability to play different modes, or make your own rules. I know lots of people play spades differently, like if you bid 10(dime) on your first hand and get it it’s an automatic win, or if you bid 10 you get 200 points instead of 100. I didn’t notice a blind nil option in this game but I might’ve overlooked it. Lots of people play joker joker deuce ace, and I’ve yet to see a spades app have the option to run that version of the game instead of just ace high. A pass and play mode would be nice, or a way to directly invite a partner/opponent

Find Another Spades Game. I have played this app for several years and always enjoyed it until recently. When they first gave the purchase option for ad free I wasn’t interested but decided to go for it. At first it wasn’t bad but now there are leagues set up and you get moved around. I was ranked first one day and twentieth the next with most of my points wiped out?? What?? Why would I pay to play to be dumped to last place? The other crazy thing is the change in point you can win or lose and the rematch. Sometimes you get the option to rematch once, next you can rematch give time, then another game you will get no rematch option. Really have ruined a good app that I have recommended to many people and we are now moving on.

Good interface, rigged hands. Update: The developer states that “all shuffling is done randomly.” The developer does not state that the DEALING is random. I suspect that the cards of the automated players are redistributed (or dealt) after the bids are made. In the end, the teams usually meet the bids exactly, which suggests that the hands are recalculated/redistributed to match the original bids. ———— Original review ————— The game is fun to play, but at higher levels the hands are obviously not dealt randomly. I understand it is difficult to program a “expert-level” bot without manipulating the deal, but it becomes ridiculous. It also appears that the program shares knowledge of the hands between the bots. It it obvious the hands are dealt for a predetermined outcome because the hands dealt at higher levels are much different than at beginner’s levels. At a certain point, the computer opponents play improbable runs of A-J spades in multiple games. The game is engaging, but I suspect many players stop playing when they see the hands are manipulated and not dealt randomly.

Almost perfect, with two issues that nag at me. I love this spades app and prefer it over any of the others. That said, two issues tug at me that I wish could be resolved. One, there is no bag counter for players to keep track if they have enabled the bag-penalty feature. The warnings are nice, but a counter in the corner of the player and opponents bags would help with strategy. Two, my teammate bot drives me NUTS and almost always cuts with a spade right after I’ve busted an opponents nil bid. Like almost every time. If these two items were addressed I believe I’d never download another spade app again.

Terrible AI. I have a similar issue to many others here. The AI is just horrible - especially my “partner”. I think I will look for another Spades game to play. Haven’t had this one for long, but to even have a chance at winning, you have to turn on “Bid Suggestions” - which is odd because 99% of the time, the suggested bid is the same that I would have put anyway, and even if I adjust it, I still have a better chance at winning the round than if I turn off the setting. This is with “Hard Mode” turned off. As others have stated, my AI partner is (for all intents and purposes) an idiot. If you know you can’t win the trick, you play your lowest card. When an opponent goes “Nill”, you play your lowest card to force them to take it. Nope. My opponent plays the highest card it has … nearly every single time.

Terrible game!. This game in the beginning seems to be legit. After a few games of give and take things slowly begin to change. The computer gets hand after hand of nils. Your partner and you get nothing that match and nil hands, with the ace of spades. You get hands that are 4 bids… you barely make… or don’t. Meanwhile the computer opponents bid out of each other’s hands and you are dealt nothing to stop them. In the beginning you win some, you lose some. Then it goes to they win most, you don’t win much. Soon it’s you lose most you hardly win any.

Partner. The other opponents play much smarter than my teammate. My partner never play’s back into my hand. Never attempts to drain the opponent with spades. And take the power out of their hand. Always dumps an off suit. And never playing back into my lead. The opposition knows how to drain the spades out of control. So you cannot cut with spades. My teammate has NEVER done that. And too many times when my teammate is the last to play, he will allow the opponent to win the book. So the objective of my game is to MAKE my teammate play spades instead of holding until the end. I have to make my teammate play with me instead of against me. Then my teammate underbids all the time. As many as 4 books

Rigged game. Worse developers than WGT Golf developers in how they cheat the cards to where one rarely wins. I contact all of the developers who place ads on this one and inform them I would never use their games or product. CHEATS!!! Got a msg from the developer. Nope. Bravo Sierra! The algorithm manipulates the cards. Developers say “they” don’t” and hide behind the algorithm. UPDATE!! Do not attempt to prevaricate again Developers. The game is rigged to have the opponents win way too many times. You are prevaricators!! All those who advertise are contacted to inform them of your CHEATING! If you developers say you don’t load decks I wonder…do you kiss your mothers mouths with your lying lips!

Review. While your programmers can read their initial hand and bid. The play doesn’t match. They take obvious over books just to make their bid even though we have already made our team bid. When hands are under bid by 2/3 or more they don’t dump high cards that initially weren’t bid as books. It also seems that all the robots hold their highest trump cards to the end even if they have already made the team bid. It should be that if you didn’t bid the card initially and the bid is short of thirteen, the card should be sloughed. Your version of the game is not any different that others that I’ve tried. The programming is similar. I don’t think the robots ever played in too many real games.

This game cheats. The interface is clean and efficient. Game play is fast and with out lag. However don't expect to win many games, the game engine won't allow it. Your opponent will always have a better hand, always. All you have to do is count the number of trump (spades) cards the opposing team gets. Your opponent will typically get a minimum of seven trump cards and usually all the face cards. On average it's more like nine to ten spades. You just can't win. Even if you don't get set the numbers will never be in your favor. About the only way to get an advantage is to bid nil. To bad. Not a bad game just don't expect to win much.

Other apps can’t compare. I never leave reviews but the developer for this app knocked it out of the park with this game, along with other apps I have installed by them as well. I have played several different spades apps all by different developers and this one is definitely on top for many reasons. First and most impressive are the ads, I hate ads but in order for games to be free I get that they’re necessary. There are so little ads in their apps, they never interrupt gameplay, and are always less than 10 or 15 seconds long. Super impressed with that. Second, the interface is super easy to look at it so it doesn’t have any distractions or other stuff to look at that’s unnecessary like other apps do and everything is bold, highlighted during your turn, they even highlight the current winning card. I don’t have the best eyesight so easy to look at and follow is really important to me. Third, a ton of other spades apps don’t really emphasize teams or their bots don’t really play along like a real life game of spades but they do in this game! You never have to worry about your teammate trying to beat your already bid winning card, and if they do it gives you a quick brief explanation as to why they had to. This would also be a great game to play if you’re trying to learn how to play spades, I’m not sure if it’s the right way but the exact gameplay in this is exactly how I originally learned how to play spades before smartphones were ever a thing.

Smart App Learns Your moves and makes winning impossible.. I’ve been playing this game for a year. I actually purchased a year. The farther your progress the more difficult. If learns your play. I use NIL whenever possible. But if you have 4 spades on deal, NIL is almost always a losing play. Once I reach silver I am dealt 4 spades 90% of the deals. With 4 spades NIL is almost impossible to use. This proves the learning and slant to losing. There are 13 spades. If the deals were random would be almost impossible to receive 4 spades 90% of the time. STOP MAKING THIS IMPOSSIBLE TO WIN. Very frustrating. I will continue to post negative reviews until this is resolved.

Love the Game Too Many Long Ads. I totally understand the need for Ads. Most games I don’t mind them too much as they allow me to explore new games I may not have otherwise been aware of. However, these Ads are after every hand and they are in 2 parts making them way too long. It ruins the game experience. I’d rather pay to upgrade then sitting through the same long ads over and over. Ruins the game for me. There must be a better way for consumers to get an enjoyable gaming experience while developers make their money. Pay to upgrade maybe? IDK in the meantime I’ve gotta find a new game. This is a good spade game if you can stand the same 45-1 min ads after every hand.

Started great but went bad quickly. This was great fun until you got to higher levels. I’m at the end of this app. I am NEVER able to successfully get a nil and I am no longer able to break their nil. And my partners are stupid! The last game I did I was able to get 8 tricks and my partner went nil. We had it- BUT my partner went nil with a A, K & Q of hearts and I only had a 2. We lost with those last three moves. This is typical. I ALWAYS have to under bid to cover for the stupidity of my partners bids and how they play. I have an average bid of 3, if I’m lucky. I know to NEVER go nil unless I have only 2-3 spades that are under 5 and all other cards are high cards from J -A. Otherwise, they break me every time. And IF I should be successful and get that nil, my partner breaks his bids by not getting them! So I rarely get my 100 points. This is all predictable 💯 of the time and very, very frustrating! It’s obvious that the other two players know each others hands and play accordingly and always win, especially if they go nil. I feel I have to play against 3 and not with a partner. I’m at Grand Marshall, ultimate tier, at level 3. I have been dropped back down to level 4 twice, due to my partner’s inability to play and AI teaming up and cheating. I am now about to delete this app! 😡😡😡😡 it is aggravating! This started out great but has gone bad quickly!

Excellent App. I am really impressed with this app, excellent game play and easy to learn for beginners! I haven’t played this for over 30yrs, brings back memories of childhood for me. I do wish the bots wouldn’t trump my tricks when they’re my partner and would play together to set a nil bet on the opposing team, but other than that it’s been wonderful to play this. I’m actually spending too much time playing this! LOL The ads are minimal and I also love that! Big Smile From Me!

Are my opponents real. I really love this game! Setting my opponents is exhilarating and when my teammate and I work together feels exciting but sometimes it seems like the other team knows what I’m going to play ahead of time and that the cards dealt are very one sided for many games then all of a sudden it flips around. Regardless, I can’t quit playing it! Graphics are simple, quick and easy, players are always ready…that’s another reason I wonder if they’re real, that and the names they have???

Good, but not great. I play on the high difficulty level. My partner consistently under bids. I have to over bid to compensate or we take too many sandbags & end up with the 100 point penalty. Over bidding ruins my stats. Also, my partner doesn’t know how to set an opponent’s NIL bid. The opponent who had bid NIL played third that trick and played the highest card & should have been set, but my partner trumped the trick! He then went on to catch two sandbags by the time the round was over. He should have played off to set the opponent’s NIL and only caught 1 sandbag. He wasn’t left with nothing but Spades so it was possible to play off.

Game Needs Improvements. 1)Partners don’t seem to understand the importance of opponent (who has placed a “NIL” bid) to catch a trick. They always trump it and are so proud while I’ve passed up the opportunity several times in order for the NIL opponent to catch a trick. 2)The winner of the round is obvious after a couple of hands. If you start out with a bad hand, all of them will be and you never catch a break. You get a couple of kings with only one more card in that suit and 7-8 cards in the others. Many times I get the ace of spades and number cards with an occasional Jack. If you get a hand that allows you to go nil, you’ll catch a trick with a low number card like the 5 of hearts. Just saw one where it happened with the 3 of clubs—- they were getting nothing but bad hands. 3)I keep getting the (almost) exact same hand 2-3 times in a row. That’s frustrating. 4)The endless ads are annoying and some go on and on forever. This is the best spades game by far and I’d be willing to buy it so I wouldn’t see the ads but if some improvements aren’t made I’ll just find another game.

Not terrible but. So, i have played spades IRL for over 20yrs. My complaints w/ this game are that all of the non-human players CONSTANTLY under bid. It is highly frustrating cause i wanted to play with the sandbag limit on but it didn't change how my partner bid. It is very frustrating. I also hate that once spades has been broken, the computer players start just emptying their hand of spades. IRL the only reason to do that is if you have no other suit. But as the hand continues you quickly find out that the other players have plenty of cards from other suits. The game should mimic a real spades game closer than it does.

Setting a NIL player. The only thing, that I absolutely hate about this game is that the Programmer(s) is (are) very limited in their ability to program their algorithm, (or A.I.) to “set” another player… instead of trying to make sure they get their trick. You losing your little 10 points is worth setting someone -100 points, who goes NIL!! And 15 seconds when playing other “real or live” players is ridiculous! You know what you bid and so you know your cards… 5 seconds is adequate. Other than that, I absolutely love the game!!

Cool Game with an unfair advantage. I don’t like the fact that I’m playing against bots and not real people. Your partner will help the other team win by laying off an opportunity to use a cut card thus causing you to loose the game, and will also beat a card that you have beat, like playing an Ace on top my King…and I’m like “WOW dodo” really?! Which will also cost you the game because now you’re short a book. It’s much better playing a real life game with real people. And would rather choose my partner, not random trash bot players lol. The bot opponents already know what cards you have, so it’s easy for them and your own partner to set you up when they get tired of you winning lol. Happens to me all the time. I don’t liked rigged games, but I guess it’s good for passing time.

Taught me how to play Spades. I downloaded this app two days ago, and holy moly— I’m so addicted now that I’ve already made it to the Gold III tier… 😅😭 I love a lot of things about this app: For one, the names of the animal competitors are absolutely adorable—I mean, you’ve got Wooly the sheep, Gobbles the turkey, Waddles the duck, Scooter the snail, Pinky the flamingo, Vladimir the bat, Cobalt the wolf, Skylar the bird… freaking iconic. The other thing I love is the animations at the end of each game— I bet those took forever to make, but they’re awesome, and they even cheer me up when I know I just lost the game… I’ve seen each of them like three times in the past two days (gosh I have too much time on my hands 😭), but they still haven’t gotten old. My only complaint is the app freezes up quite often to the point where once it’s been frozen for like five seconds, the only solution is to exit out of it mid-game.

Top Twenty. I love the game but once you get into the top 20, you’re basically done. You can have a really big lead over the others players and then they just somehow gain enough to put you back to 4th or 5th place. How do they manage to get that many points in a few hours. Plus, I’ve been getting horrible hands and you’re “so called partner” will actually play against you. I realize I will have to continue to play to keep the lead but don’t keep taking it away from. Need to fix. I pay for the premium app so no commercials etc. I agree with the review above me… great interface. Easy to play. However, the opposing team as you get further in the game literally bids NIL every other hands and often several times in a row. So this isn’t a true random card deal. It was great the first couple levels. But as I get farther along I’m now looking for a new app to play spades because this one is loosing my interest. It wouldn’t be so bad if you could pick the rule options for instance “ no NIL” like any other spades game but it wont

Too many glitches. This game used to be so much better but seems like in the last several months it glitches a lot. It has strange sounds when some of the ads come on and you can’t get rid of the glitch until you shut down your phone and reboot. Also it freezes on ads and I have to reboot. That’s gets old! Today I tried that and even after I did the sound (machine gun sound) continued when I rebooted. Also once you offered the purchase option now the ads have gotten longer. I have also noticed glitches in playing. Many times when I see trumps come out the first time on a suit their supposed to be out of. That suit they trumped before will come out again and then they will play that suit. Also I’ve seen someone go nil and then get set but it’s not counted against them. They still get their 100 points. So this game needs work. This was my go to spades game but now I’m finding myself playing different ones because this app is messing up too much now. Please fix these issues.

No ad free experience. I wish half stars were allowed In rating because so far I’ve really enjoyed the game. It runs smoothly and except for one time it hasn’t frozen. That one time was due to the ads. That is the one thing I don’t like about the game—no ad free option! At least that I can find. It is really annoying to watch an ad after each hand…and usually it is the same ad!

Lyn. Hi. I’ve played this app for several weeks now, made it to the final series, got three from top and can’t seem to get past that. Loose more than I win thanks to my avatar partner, regardless of who it is. It’s like the partners get careless with bids, plays etc. they always trump over my spades especially if I’ve already taken the trick. This quite often causes us to lose because my partner then is out of trump cards and could have made the difference if they hadn’t played over my trump. I left this app due to frustration but have not found a better set up so I’m back. Hope you will take what I and others have given as constructive criticism and make some positive changes. Thanks!

Please!. I really like the spades game BUT have the same problem with the ad for World Poker Game as the review on 7/30 labeled “Nice Game”. If you have multiple people complaining about this it would be nice if you would look into the problem . It won’t “x” off. If you try, it sends you to a search area. If you try to go back from that screen, you find yourself back at the World Poker Game ad. I can only delete the spades game and reinstall to access the game at that point. Then shortly after reinstalling, the ad comes up again and I am stuck again. It’s very frustrating and I hope something can be done about it.

A total joke at the highest level. I played my way up to the highest levels of this game..Hours spent having a great time..When I got to the highest level I played for 5hrs. And won 1 game..1 game..I’d tie the opponents at the half way point in some games but that’s as far as it got..I’m also shocked at the times my partner and I can catch someone going nil and my partner spades them and then turns right around throws a lower trump card that would’ve set them. Just extremely disappointed in this game as it progressed..wiped it off my computer and won’t play again

One star for brief enjoyment. I have enjoyed Mobilityware’s Solitaire game for several years. In the last 24 hours I gave added, briefly enjoyed, and deleted Spades and Free Cell by the same designer, and I want to give the explanation. FREE CELL: I enjoy winning a game of Solitaire as much as the next guy, but I’m not such a tyro as to believe that I could jump into a game I haven’t tried in ten years, and win the first ten hands in a row. No option here of selecting the rstio of winning deals or level of difficulty. No challenge, I’m gone. SPADES: Okay, I recognize that ads are the price I pay for using a free app—but three ads in a row for something called “Adblocker”? That’s just a little “on the nose,” as they say. And when Cancel takes me, not back to my app but to the Install page for the app, I call that dirty pool. Mobilityware, take a tip: take the features from Solitaire and incorporate them into your other games.

Not skill, just rigged. If you win in this game it isn’t because you’re talented. I won A LOT…but then it is frowned upon to progress over the person ahead of you in the line of succession. I was leap frogging over everyone. Went from Novice to Grand Master in one month. Then I started getting fantastically lousy cards on EVERY hand. As an example to prove to myself it wasn’t just my imagination when my partner bid NIL I decided I would also. We both achieved NIL and received 200 points! I took a screenshot so I have evidence. If this game were compared to playing poker in the Wild West the dealer (app) would have cards up their sleeves, in their boots, under their collars AND would also be marking the deck.

Game rules. The game is really a lot of fun even though it’s kind of rigged, if my team bids NIL, the other team knows exactly what cards to play to set us, but it’s almost impossible to set their NIL. The rules I learned to play by states that when a NIL is played, the player bidding the NIL gets to pass their 3 best cards, and their teammate passes 3 cards back, also, when a team bids 10 tricks, they receive 200 points. It would be really great if the rules of play could be adjusted to make the game more official. Thank you and I hope to see the changes in the game.

Not bad. Update- got booted again, again with a winning hand. It’s infuriating. I hope you get this issue resolved soon. It never seems to happen when I’m losing. ?? This is probably one of the better Spades apps out there with a couple of exceptions. First, I get booted with great hands and can’t get back in. It happens rather frequently and since I don’t have this issue with my three apps, I’m inclined to say they need a bigger server. Second, slow players are allowed way too much time to make a move and that’s infuriating! Beyond that, I love the sounds, animations, and especially that other players can’t spend all their time talking instead of playing.

Good Game but…... This is a Good game to play however the amount of ADS is Ridiculous and Annoying. The ADS play over and over and you can’t close the ADS. For me I’m about to just delete the game. My Opponents are stealing my team books. How is this possible for the loosing team to take my Teams winning books. Also stop the Bots from cheating. The game is cool and fun to play but the bots are not Humans. The game is led to believe that you’re playing against another human. Fix the game please. I’ve read the comments and the Developers are basically repeating the same responses to everybody that leaves comments.

Spades, pluses and minuses. Basically I enjoy playing Spades, and greatly appreciate I don't have to sit through ads after ads in order to play. However, I am so frustrated by games where the Bot plays, and wins, game after game by playing Nil games. I have submitted complaint after complaint about this. The Bot clearly has insights I do not have. I have repeatedly requested a "no Nil" option. Well, I don't think anybody is listening to me, because nothing has been done. It would not be that difficult to offer this option. Is anybody else having this issue, feeling frustrated losing hand after hand because the Bot is playing Nil game after Nil game, sometimes 2 or 3 times per hand? This is my only complaint about this game.

NIL problems - deleted game!. I’ve been enjoying this game. Like other players, I have noticed that my partner will NEVER cut the opposing team’s NIL bid, it always takes the trick when it has a lower card which would have cut the NIL. I’m the only one who even tries to cut their NIL. However, if I bid NIL, the opposing team will frequently cut my NIL by throwing low cards. (If you don’t believe me, explain how I could win a bid with a 4 of clubs, and my partner threw off but had a spade left). The other team is the computer and it knows my cards. My partner is also the computer and it knows their cards but it will not support my NIL by taking the trick when it has the card to save the NIL. It’s very frustrating!

Needs work. Nothing hard about playing hard mode but I know this will not change. You simply rarely win because your AI partner is stupid. Doesn’t know how to trump opponent who bids nil when opponent has clearly won the hand. AI partner trumps me with a spade even when I’ve won a hand. AI partner more often than not over bids. AI partner bids nil while having all cards above the number 10 in multiple suits. No way to cover their hand. Another example is you get a hand with all cards below number 9. You can’t bid nil because you have one spade and it’s the ace and your AI partner only has 1 or 2 winning hands with the opponents having the rest. When this happens 2-3 times is a row it’s game over and you don’t stand a chance. You might win 1 out of 10 games. Very poor programming and shuffling !!

Spades Mobilityware. One of the reasons this is such an appealing game is there are a number of choices I, as a human player, can make in each round that has an effect in the game. The Mware Hearts is not as “friendly”. It’s programmed to give the human player the Queen of Spades almost every hand. You’d never know there are four players that she might be distributed to… Back to Spades. My frustration is with the ultimate tier as I’ve made it to the top position. I did that with Hearts, as well, but am less interested because of the programming with the unwanted Q-spades. Mind you, it takes a lot of time to get to the top of the Grand tier, in either. My complaint is, once there, at the moment in Spades, another player, in this instance nearest in points, “Trunks” is 40 points behind me. Suddenly, in a few minutes, is back equal with me, who took several hours to pass “Trunks”. There is NO WAY in actual playing that could happen. Instantaneous 40 point leap in moments when it takes a human several hours to get 40 points?? Takes the “joy” of my accomplishment out of the game when preprogrammed competitors are given vast point movements that in reality human ones have to temporally work through. I do love Mobilityware games, overall❤️❣️Corrected.

My favorite Spades App. I really love the this game, and even though there are ads they are usually brief. Today there’s a new fitness game ad that causes my phone to freeze and not go back into the game without waiting several minutes or restarting my device. I have been playing the game for a while and this is only my second experience with an ad crashing the game. Please look into this. Thanks!

Did enjoy. I did enjoy playing thought is was one of the best spades games made until you see that they cheat. I don’t like the fact when you can take the lead from some one that you are behind they put you both on the same team to prevent you taking the lead. I don’t like how the team the players up. Not only that if you able to take the lead from someone or is leading someone they put you on the team with that person and they make you lose the game purposely. Game starting to be unfair have to find me a new spades game now.

Ads are too long - Please offer PAID version!. This is my favorite single player Spades app - with 1 big exception. They advertise that ads are "skip-able" after 5 seconds. That is true for about 25% of them. The rest you can skip after 5 seconds THEN you have to watch 5 - 10 seconds more and THEN it takes you to a 3rd part of the ad and if you skip that too soon it takes you to another screen prompting you to download the app they are advertising. All of this lasts about 15-20 seconds. Ads are after every hand and a hand of Spades lasts about 30-45 seconds. Just be honest guys.

Computer cheats at Platinum level. This app was fun at the beginning. Once I reached Platinum level the computer begins to cheat. I can give 2 examples. Up until this level, your computer partner didn’t hurt your chances. However, at this level, the computer partner routinely over bids causing you to lose rounds and ultimately the game. Also, at the Platinum level, the computer team that you are playing against routinely leads off with a queen when you have a king and the other computer team partner they have has the ace. So, in normal cards, the king could typically take the second round but, with the cheating they do, they play the queen, so if you play the king, then the other player takes the ace and they win that round and you don’t have your king. If you let it pass you by then the other computer player won’t play their ace, the computer wins the round with the queen, then they win the next round with the Ace, making your king of no value. This happens regularly letting you know they are cheating because in spades you don’t know what your partner has but the computer, controlling all three of the other players, clearly begins to manipulate the card play at the platinum level. i’m so glad I didn’t pay the $10 to go add free for six months. I was holding off to see if the game would begin cheating and, now that it does, I’m deleting the app after writing this review.

Statistically biased. At the risk of sounding like a nerd, here goes! I’m a statistician by trade and have have a masters degree in mathematical statistics and probability. I sensed a bias in this game, so I decided to statistically test it. I played 200 games analyzing the nil bid at the platinum level and above. East west bid nil 95 times. My partner bid nil only 30 times. Less than half. I would expect roughly 35 to 45 times for my partner. Of the nil bids, east west was successful 81% of the time, my partner was successful 72% of the time. My only task was to protect my partner’s nil bid. Thus to a statistical significance of greater than 95%, there is a bias towards east west and against north south regarding the nil bid. So don’t feel bad, the game is biased against you regarding nil bids. On the positive side, overall I still beat east west 75% of the time!

Spades Mobilityware. I have played this spades game a long time. I did like it now not so much. Now the opponents get the wins. I have played 5 games in a row lost all 5. The opponents get 100 game hands right when they need it. I just played and was up the third hand by less than 30 I need the opponents would get a 100 hand and no surprise to me they did. The longer you play this game this is what happens. It is a shame it was fun but I guess I will delete it it just is ridiculous how every hand just about the opponents get 100 hands as they need to. I also agree with review on hearts. You can count on as you play a long time your first hand will be getting the Queen. Mobilityware was my favorite now not so.

Spades app. I have a request. When this app opens with the second screen (where the MobilityWare is in a single line in the center of the screen) there is a line of white type near the bottom that contains information. I would definitely love to have a few seconds to read that information in case it can help me in playing Spades better. However the next screen pops up so quickly and blocks that information, that I can’t read it. Please try to delay that third screen for several seconds. I bet there are many Spades players that would appreciate it! Thank you!

Game computer almost always wins. Great game, fix a few bugs. After playing for months on end the game is almost predictable. Your “partner” is just about useless I understand it’s a computer but your just about on your own. In competitive mode I understand it’s supposed to be hard but after playing I figured out the computer almost always knows what cards you have especially if you bid nil so you lose that round. Kinda annoying but after playing for months on end with almost no progress in the game almost given up. Tried to give it a shot but good fundamentals hence the two stars

Fun game.. At first. When I first played this game it was a lot of fun, your partner worked with you. As you climb up the tiers it gets increasingly harder since your partner is dumb and self sabotages themselves. They bid higher than the amount they should, go nil when they have high cards. While the other team works so well. I don’t know if it was the luck of the cards but it’s still ridiculous that the other team went nil four times during one round. I’d rate this game higher if it wasn’t for your teams AI. Otherwise it’s a fun addicting game that looks and feels smooth, and the ads aren’t as annoying as other ads.

AI players are stupid. You love this spades version but the partner player always plays against the best interests of the game in competitive mode. It doesn’t recognize play to stop the other team achieving Nil score or play to stop the other team achieving their goal score. Instead it tries to beat my cards as their partner and this is incredibly frustrating. I just wish that the game had a bit more sophistication in its algorithm when playing in competition mode. I like the tactical side of the game but it is a partnership game and I hate that my AI partner is always playing against me. It spoils the strategic aspect of play.

Spades. Is this available to play with friends, having a ‘bot’ as my partner is not satisfactory. On many occasions the bot partner doesn’t play to win when opponents going nil, not strategic....frustrating !

Simple and Good. I only downloaded the app a few days ago, and I really enjoy it. Eventho you can’t play it with other real people, it’s still fun. My only problem is that I didn’t see an option for deleting ads.

Rigged game with equally greedy developer. First of all what I don't understand is how come the opponent scores more than us in spite of reaching goal and playing better moves. Secondly your partner is a robot too and will do stupid moves when it will declare Nil and eventually make you loose game. Above all the advertisement in the game is so a big pain. I can understand that developer makes money out of it for all the hard work but this is ridiculous. I am sure I will a standard reply from developer of how unhappy I am and that ad should have a skip button..blah...blah...blah.

Spades. I like the game but the ridiculously long ads after each and every game makes it very boring. Seriously, are they necessary?

Best Yet. Have been a fan of Texas Holdem for years This is far better and more involving than many other games.

Keeps crashing after a few rounds. Every 3 games it just keeps glitching, esp in between games when an ad comes on, it just pitch black and doesn’t play at all. Doesn’t even tell me to press play cos sometimes it does when ur watching an ad. But yeah other than that it’s a fun game 😂

Fun. The ads don’t bother me. Easy to learn, similar to Euchre. When you get to the Gold tier, the opposing bot team goes Nil bid almost every round, making it near impossible to win. Loses a star rating for that.

Having another go. Very frustrating . I really enjoyed this game in the beginning but as you progress it’s hard to win too many games when it’s obvious your partner is a computer designed not to let you win too many . It’s such a shame as it gets so frustrating especially when further in to a game your partner throws out cards that you know should’ve been played earlier . And the adds go twice as long as other games for some reason it’s like common I know we have adds but do your 5 seconds and start next round not then after the x comes up you get another 5 seconds of the same add

Too many ads. I love the game but the higher the level you just can’t win. Opposition team goes nil 95% of the time. You say it’s a random shuffle but the opposition team goes nil before they have any cards so definitely manipulated. You get a decent hand once in a hundred deals. I’ve lost count of the times I just forfeit because of the lousy deal I get.

Solitaire. This is such a fun game to play when bored and you can teach family members new and fun ways to play cards. It’s a great game and I definitely recommend it.

Top game. Great game to play. You can play in conjunction with your partner. Much like 500 but your partner never abuses you when you stuff up

Review on Spades. A good entertaining game but with limitations as it’s obviously a computer program playing against the player. There are limited opportunities for random unexpected leads to worry the opposing side.

Lifetime Goals. Can you please get rid of the lifetime goals? They’re pointless and annoying.

Don’t expect any meaningful changes.. Discover your inner masochist! Almost always dealt cards are painfully biased (despite claims of innocence in that regard). (A post game option showing actual hands dealt would be very revealing). Unfortunately it’s among the best in terms of “playability”….so stuck with the pain. There is absolutely no advantage in reaching the top level, “Grandmaster” is if anything more painful than entry level… nothing really changes….the ratings and levels seem utterly pointless. (Played in excess of 5000 games). My preference is to play through the early levels, then delete the app completely and start again.

Constant ads with very bad themes. Whilst this is a brilliant game the tone of the adverts ( that are too many) continue to be rude, violent towards women and children, and explicit …. unacceptable. Ads are extremely annoying, pity as game is good. Please please please have an option to purchase so we don’t have to sit through the most annoying and frustrating ads between games. Your game is by far the best on the market but we will no longer be playing as because of the ads.

THE SCORING IS FLAWED. Three of the four players in each game are penalised. Which means that, over a long period of time, every player’s coins will start to dwindle. In every game played three of the four players lose coins. The player who comes second loses a small number of coins. But, where it really hurts is when a player comes second or third. The players that come third or fourth loses a multiple of their initial outlay based on the points difference to the winning player. This is a completely unfair system. I believe the second player should get their initial investment returned. The third player should lose a multiple of their initial outlay based on the points difference to the SECOND player. I also believe that it is fair enough that the fourth player should lose a multiple of their initial outlay based on the points difference to the first player. Another improvement would be to stop things flashing over the table during games. To me this would improve the appeal of the game and all players would benefit.

Too many adds.. Far too many adds, should have the option to pay to make add free, that way we are happy and you still make money.

Waaaaayyyyy too many ads. The only way I play this game now is offline due to the number of ads...you get one even before you start a game! In addition the goals mean nothing, the levels mean nothing and the competitive games aren’t even against other real players.

Rigged. First off, way too many ads. I feel like I spend more time watching ads than playing the game. Half the time the game feels rigged with your two computer opponents having the luxury of being able to know exactly what cards you have because they are software are not real opponents. Essentially they can count cards better than most humans and can know exactly what everyone is holding. Your partner is also just software and half the time makes obvious mistakes with playing low cards when they have something better in their hand, especially when you’re going nill. I’ve also noticed a slight error when I lead with a spade and the computer opponents play a non-spade card only to play a spade the next turn. They can’t avoid matching the lead card but a somehow manage to do it enough times it’s noticeable. Because of all these issues my win rate is only 50% which is significantly lower than it is in non-rigged games and against human opponents.

Calling Nil. Why do my 2 opponents go Nil approximately 10% of games but my partner ( changes every new game) less than 1%!!

No Ads. I really love this game but I am sick of the ads, any suggestions to get rid of them?

Ridiculous ads. You can not get out of the ads which run between hands. Mobility Ware says they have a 5 second ad ‘shut down’ policy, but this is not true. I have asked them to please mediate or offer some solution but none seems forthcoming. Some of these ads only move you from window to window and I would suggest the 5 seconds becomes more like 20. After a few hands I feel like it is time to take up solitaire with real cards!

Why is the bot so poor at playing in relaxed play?. I love the game but can’t help being frustrated with my bot partner when it takes a trick, saving our opponent’s Nil bid, then leads a lower card than theirs was. I tried using the undo button but it keeps playing the same. I want a new bot.

NPCs are trash. Why does my NPC not meet his bid several times every game. He trumps my win when he’s the last to play often. It’s like my partner vs our NPC opponents are different leagues. They play perfect games and my partner seems to be playing a different game. If you are gonna have NPCs at least make them somewhat fair

Partner. Good game but one major flaw. Incorrect moves are made by partner. Ex. In the ultimate tier, partner gives away nil inexplicably. This is in the ultimate level. Better AI with improved goals would make this amazing.

Game is fun but ads are brutal.. There’s an ad after each round. It’s so frustrating. It makes you not want to continue playing, which is unfortunate cause the game is actually good.

Needs fixing. This game was a lot of fun initially, but has become very frustrating. Some key things to point out: 1) the system blocks me from playing a higher spade than the system most of the time, but doesn’t block me when I have a lower spade than the system. 2) the number of Nil 100+ point chances favour the system at about a ration of 4:1. I’ve had games where the system gets 4 chances in 1 game and wins them all. Almost impossible to beat the system’s Nil bid when they are the 4th player. 3) the system more often than not blocks by suit when I have a higher card in a different suit, but opens up all suits when I don’t. Change those things and it’s a 5 star rating. FYI, my win rate keeps dropping the more I play- down from 64% to 58% so far.

Why do the ads make noise only at night. I like the game but it is very annoying that sound is turned off but the ads make noise though only during nighttime.

Ad nightmare - I’d rather pay to play. More ad time than playtime. It’s an annoying 6 clicks to get back to a hand. Ads are all gaming ads and so annoyingly irrelevant. I’d rather be locked in a room with blaring metal music than forced to watch gaming ads over again.

Adds. Ads are supposed to be limited in time. I believe 20 seconds or so if you keep deleting what is appearing. Quite common to delete what’s on screen and the exact same thing appears again. Also at times no matter how many times you try to “x” out of a screen it will not work as if your screen appears to be frozen which it isn’t. These apps are designed to do that. It’s very annoying and almost makes me want to quit playing.

Your partner in master level is so bad. It was good game until you reach to the master level and after that the difference that your partner is playing very bad it looks like he is playing against you . So many mistakes makes you not win for most of the games .

Hard to rate. Love the design. Good options, daily challenges. Best interface that I have seen for Spades. However, frequent play seems to change the odds of winning, opposite team gets really lucky deals. Would still give five stars but… the ads have grown very frustrating, nested ads that last more than thirty seconds, game freezing in the ads. So many ads that are clearly lies. I would rather pay for this app, as it stands now am ready to delete due to the frustrations.

Higher levels “fixed”. As most people say higher levels the opposite team always either bids Nil or has high cards for high bid or partner plays bad cards

The Ads. There are too many ads and when I’ve ordered from these ads they took my money but I did not receive the product and the web site is now gone. There is no recourse you can take from the app because they don’t care who is selling on their app. I’m really disappointed because I love playing the game but sick of the ads that are 30 seconds or longer they keep sending you to web sites that only exist long enough to take your money. This app should be responsible for the the ads they run and be responsible to the customers and ensure they get the products the order. Please help me get my money back from an ad you sponsor otherwise let all customers know this site cannot be trusted. That’s why you are getting one star.

Love the game but too many Ads!. I agree with the others. Game is great but tired of being interrupted between each round with Ads. It is annoying and cannot enjoy the game.

Poor win streak. I use to love playing this game but lately it seems like the other team always gets the better cards and wins. Not really a way to entice people to play your game if they are going to lose 9 out of 10 times. It would be different if you were playing against real people but when you’re just playing against the app it gets very frustrating and I’ve deleted your game of Hearts for the same reason. I will be looking for a different developer of Spades and Hearts to play and will advise my friends to do the same.

Privacy policy. At a certain level, the screen goes black except for a link to Vungle Privacy Policy. I read it but the link won’t go away and I’m unable to keep playing.. This happened previously and I have to delete the app and start over, losing my current status to continue playing. This is the 2nd time this has happened.

Love this game but the freezing and slowness needs fixed. Some days the game operates quickly, but many days the app freezes and restarts itself. Bidding takes a min or so to finish. If you set your iPad down and come back your screen is frozen and you have to restart. It makes you wait but if you don’t play fast enough it freezes. It’s getting really aggravating. I’ve offloaded the app and reinstalled so many times. Please fix this as I love the format of your spades game.

Rules What rules??. I’ve been playing spades for over 23 years and the rules have always been the same. There are some variants but the main rules always stay the same. It’s crazy to think that in a spades game spades aren’t king… dozens of times I’ve noticed that the AI will re-nig and either hold spades when it should be required to play spades or play off suites that led … this has to be in the programming …. I would be fine with this if you could call it out for cheating but since you can’t I don’t think I’ll be playing this version any more… /r Plays by the rules

I am Jenny this company is great. I’ve got several games from this company mobility and I’m telling you it is great to get the power up quick you can they have lots of ways you level up quick I’m very happy I raise so many games off of my phone and end up playing this game too long, I promise you you won’t be disappointed go with mobility ware

One small flaw but great overall. Overall a great game most of the AI is spot on however I will say one flaw is your teammates ability to bust a NIL play. It seems like the opponents AI are really good at attempting to bust a NIL but when it comes to your teammate it is almost impossible because they will always trump cards even if they could have gone lower. My one suggestion for improvement with the game

Computer Rigged. This is mostly a fun Spades app to use. My one critique is that the system cheats for the opposing computer players when you play on the harder level. Instead of making the computer a better player, the system just gives the opposing computer players a better hand. That doesn’t make the computer any better. Anyone can win with a good hand. That doesn’t make them a good player.

Disappointed. I loved this game until I reached the ultimate competitive tier. At the last tier, your assigned partner becomes stupid and often over bids their hand. You will be dealt hands that allow you and your partner to bid a combined total of three. A nil hand will occur while your partner bids one. When your opponents have a nil hand, the partner bids a minimum of five. You can overcome this, maybe one game out of ten, climbing the tier one point at a time. I am done playing. No matter what, you lose the game 90% of the time. This is not fun for anyone.

Nice game. I like this game and usually the adds are easy to turn off and get back to the game. But every time World Series Poker adds come on there is no way to get away from the add, the x is too small and up too far in the left corner. You can’t even wait the add out, it takes you to the App Store or to Safari but never back to the game. The only way to get out of it is to stop playing and come back later. Too bad, it’s a fun game.

Good game. It’s not great but I could be with 3 tweaks.. There is no incentive for going for 10 books when you only get 100 points for pull this off. It is literally the hardest thing to achieve. Most other spade game rewards you with 200 points for this except this game. It’s way easier to go NIL than it is to get 10 books with your partner and you still only get the same 100 points. Tweak1: Double points for bidding 10 books or more. 10 books = 200, 11 = 220, 12 = 240 & 13 = 260. Tweak2: Offer the option for blind bids worth double the points before revealing hands. Tweak3: Allow for passing/receiving 1 card to/from your partner when bidding NIL. The tweaks above are common rules that are already associated with the game but are sorely lacking on this one.

Greatest spades game but…. The graphics are great, I love this version of the classisc game but… The other team almost always gets more spades, consistently gets better hands, more “nil” hands and your own teammates trump when you have already won the hand. It’s frustrating but if the game wasn’t so well done, I’d never play this version again!

Computer partner needs to learn how to play. I do have fun playing this most of the time, but my AI partner makes some really stupid moves: 1. Trumps my high card when the suit has only been played twice 2. Bids NIL with too many high cards in short suits 3. Doesn’t seem to know how to defend and defeat a NIL bid by opponents, but somehow my opponent AI’s understand how to do this 4. Doesn’t bid according to the score. The score is 232 us to 150 opponents. We really only need to bid 2 to win the game and I’ve already bid 2. My partner bids 7 or NIL. Why???

Don’t waist your time. I really liked this game and had over 10,000 points and had reached the top tier, then they dropped me down to 1,000 points without any reason. Now the game partners me with really bad partners that place dumb bets and all I do it lose. This game is fun, unless you actually start to win then the game steals your points and sets you up to lose. I’m am so confused why the developers chose to put this feature in the game. The game is no longer fun to play. Don’t waist your time unless you enjoy a game that cheats you out of your points when you start to win.

Really Fun Game. I’m enjoying this game a lot. It appears to be programmed fairly, much closer to playing with people rather than against the computer. A Hearts game I play is rigged for the player to lose if you’re playing too well. This game doesn’t do that. I want to play games where you can strategize and use your brain and this one does that.

Unforgettable Spades player. I’ve been playing this game since I was in my early 20’s & didn’t quite get the concepts of it. I kept cutting my partners out & lot of yelling & even hard feelings developed. After playing this game online. I’m ready to sit down in person & play with any player on the planet. That’s how confident I am. Thank you so very much.

Love this game. I play this almost everyday! I love this game, it’s fun and I’ve learned how to rely on my partner and how to be a better partner so that we can score more points! 6/2/23-due to an update, my screen froze temporarily and I tried a different Spades game. Hated it and deleted it right away. I found out how to unfreeze this one and was SOOO happy! This is the best!

Poor programming. It’s a fine learning tool, however the bots apparently know your hand. Additionally, the partner often makes poor plays, such as deliberately playing their highest card beneath an opponents higher card of the same suit, and later hands showing that the partner could have played lower cards. The ignorance of the partner and clear cheating of the opponent bots is why I’m giving one star. Edit: I’ve played this app for close to 3,000 games and since posting my review my “partner” bots betting has been consistently worse. Deleting this game forever for a sim with smarter programming.

Predictable. I play this a lot but it’s very predictable. If the other team gets ahead too much they miraculously start to overbid and lose hands so the score is more even. Theres also many games where the other team gets all the good cards every hand. One thing I can’t stand is the ads after every single hand. Is that really necessary? Maybe after every 3-4 hands would be fine, but it’s annoying to have them so often.

Mid. It’s okay but the bot they set up as your partner is terrible. It'll cut you in a book your about to win with a spade, never really met their bids, and if it bids nil it’ll purposefully get a book with a spade. I keep track of cards so I know what has been played and everything but the bot doesn’t really care. I understand that it is a bot, but it’s programmed terribly. The other team is set up to pay how the bot should be playing so it’s rare that you’ll beat them because the bot as your partner is terrible. I’d be better playing solo spades.

Teammate constantly sabotages you. I’ve played almost 500 games and won 67%…. that’s many thousands of rounds. My teammate is constantly sabotaging me, which is frustrating and challenging. Opponents each bid nil 1.5x as often as your teammate - who will bid 3 or even 6 with a hand that could have gone nil (and takes none). Teammate will intentionally let/make me take tricks when I bid nil. Opponents don’t do this - if teammate logic was just same as opponents that would be awesome.

Addictive!. I love this app and am pretty much addicted to it! It’s very smooth and quick and allows me to play on my own schedule. Only problem I find is when the other team is bidding NIL—which is my fav—when I have set us up to catch the other team my AI partner will trump me instead of switching suits to catch our opponents! Super frustrating!! 😡 That needs to be corrected in the programming. Other than that I LOVE this app!! 💓

Opponents. When I started, this was a fun game, great form. Then I moved up, and I'm at Master 1. . My opponents are better, but my partner is not. My opponents go nil on a seven bid while my pard s chunking out aces and kings and he'll hold the ace of spades till the end. He doesn't go nil, can't set a nil he can barely cover a nil. It's like the algorithm knows that so they keep going nil. They go nil whenever I do and my partner won't play the same with them. Dang, it's frustrating. Please fix it. How do I play with friends?

Teamwork?. This is a fun app. However, I thought I had a partner and we were a team. We do great with cross “roughing” but when I set up a nil bidder to bust all to often my “partner” takes the trick when he does not have to. Also within games there are times that hands seem to favor the opposition - ie. The deals seem to follow a biased pattern. So when the “crybaby king” shows up, I do not lament.

Locking up. I love this game and it runs very well. The only problem is that after a couple of weeks playing an ad will lock up and I can’t get back to the game. I end up having to delete the app and re install it. This is pretty frustrating. I love Mobilityware games. They run well (except for the above mentioned as problem) and are of good quality. Thanks.

The Game Should be Legitimately Competitive!. I am very dismayed by the number of times my partner goes nil with Aces, Kings and Spades looks like he purposefully is losing games. Very disheartening. To be ahead need 3 books and he’ll bet 7. Almost like playing 3 on 1. On a side note just to competitive there is know way the other team can guess right that much. I’m just saying. Love the game.

You Finally Got It Right!!. You tweaked it just right!! Now I can say that it’s the best online spades game that I have come across. From time to time my partner Bot will make a questionable move, but for the most part, all of the plays are on point. The games are fast, exciting, and challenging. The tie breakers are nail biting!! I wish their was a review or favorites button to review some of the high intensity games that you really enjoyed playing. Nice work! 👍🏽💯

RIGGED. I have loved playing this game for years. However, about eight or nine months ago I noticed that your partner was playing rigged hands not to help you as a partner. If your partner has an ace and other cards in that same suit but refuses to play it until the end it’s rigged to lose. This isn’t any fun anymore. Who is the developer knows exactly what I’m talking about so why not make it more of a fair game?

Good game. I like this version of spades vs the other apps out there. I think the teammate function needs to be updated. When your first opponent bids 2, you bid 3, then your next opponent bids nil, your teammate should increase their bid. We always pick up 3 to 4 extra tricks in this situation. It would also be great if your teammate help you trip up an opponent playing nil.

Ads are ridiculous. I understand why the app has ads, the game is free so the only way for them to make money is with ads. However, the ads always open the app store and if you're not paying attention you can click on it and then you're down the rabbit hole. It's extremely frustrating and unnecessary. By all means let the ads do their thing but stop allowing them to force open the app store.

Love the Ap Hate the Ads. When playing the game, this game is just like playing cards. The downfall is an annoying ad between every hand, and often the ad is so interactive and buggy that it is impossible to escape from it. Having to reload the app to escape an ad is too much. I enjoyed the game in the beginning…. Then I noticed changes, the opposing team seemed they were communicating with each other like they were sharing their hand, too coincidentally. Then the cards being dealt were rigged. I really liked this game but too one sided. Also, too many ads. I kept getting this one ad of someone shooting animals. Too real! The animals looked real and then being shot. I tried to get around the screens but couldn’t and I’d sit there in horror of the realism. How dare you allow those ads! But, I’m done with Mobility Ware, anything with this logo will not be opened.

Love the game but…….. I deleted all my Mobilityware games for a couple of months. I have reloaded them and they are playing better. But one thing I extremely dislike is when a game finishes, the goals stuff comes up before I can see the final score. When the game is very close, this is very frustrating. Especially when you see the final score and think you have won and haven’t. It ends so fast you don’t know what happened on the final play. 😡😡

Gameplay great, but Ad buy-out options terrible. They finally took a step into 2006 and now give the option to buy out of the ads, but then made a mess if it by charging $25/yr in perpetuity. While the gameplay is great it's not $25/yr forever great and huge miss there. Maybe $5.99 onetime, tops. It's a shame because you easily spend 35% of your time waiting for them to pass so you can get back to the game.

Player. You are being extremely unfair. The computer takes sides with our opponents against us. You have given the teams who are playing against us the majority of NIL’s and if they do not receive this you are most of the time giving them higher numbers when they don’t get NIVS. My partner and I play really good to beat them. We are playing fair. Your game seems to be rigged and it gets where I don’t want to play as much anymore. You are taking sides. The computer sides with them a awful lot. So many NILs. Ok not as much fun. Thank goodness for my partner’s talent and mine.

Awesome Game. I am giving it 5 stars because it truly is like the original Spades I have played my entire life. What I so not know why it is happening is some ads show a black screen and the game never comes back and I have to restart my device. If I uninstall I am concerned I would lose the game I am playing. Anyone else with this issue?

Mr Perry. This game is not what it seems to be. In the beginning games you will win, but after about 8 games the difficulty of you winning will be extremely difficult. When the deck is delivered you or your partner won’t get any high cards , your partner will nil a lot. The other team will win every game. There are no controls for you to make the game easier. The controls are none! The computer will beat you it knows every card you have. Try it for yourself. Just remember you can go to the App Store and download a new version from somewhere else. Glitch in game?. I’ve been playing this game for a while and I’ve noticed a pattern the higher in the game you go. One of my opponents trumped my diamond card and his very next turn played a diamond, I noticed my partner do the same. I also noticed that spades was trump and one threw off and then threw a spade. Is there a glitch in the game or does it not work properly after a certain level. I also can’t ever catch with a queen but my opponents can AND getting a nil is almost impossible even with a classic nil hand.

Ads after EVERY hand. Do you love long ads after each hand? How about ads that require you to complete some action in order to move to the next potion of the ad? Or ads that mislead or misdirect you into other ads? If so, this is the game for you! The app itself is well designed and the sound effects are fun and quiet. The ads are some of the worst I’ve experienced and I cannot locate a premium/monthly fee version of the app.

Bad matrix. You programmer guys screwed the matrix of this game up. The player directly across from you is your partner, not your opponent. Your partner would never overpower your card unless there was no option. Example - I play the king of clubs. The two opponents play lesser clubs so we basically win the play. My partner has no clubs and he plays a 5. That is an incorrect play. He has a 2 of hearts. That my friend was his correct play. He basically outbid his partner. The hand was already won. You need to learn the game then fix it!

So disappointed. Well in the beginning I would have given this app 5 stars ⭐️ because I absolutely love it up until the point where I reached level 79 and it shut down and went black, so I reloaded it and guess what all my levels were erased 😥 and no way of getting them back in sight .. talk about a let down. Then I rebooted and re- downloaded the game and now I’m at level 4 🥺 and it did it again... so now I am going to just delete the app for good and find another spade ♠️ game one that saves your games and won’t go black on me

Love this game but…. Sometimes your computer partner makes complete bonehead plays…like you play your King of spades and the computer plays the Ace of spades,,,when you needed that trick later in the hand. Or when going for nil and your partner fails to play a spade to save you but has plenty in their hand…what gives???? It is frustrating.

Enjoy the game but it needs a couple of changes. 1st change, sometimes I hit Place Bid by accident and I need an undo. 2nd change, another undo for playing the wrong card. The cards shift and you can hit the wrong one. Other this is a thouroly engaging game. Hey, any chance you could make it so you can choose you partner, ie spouse etc?

Partners During Opponent Going NIl. The maddening thing is when I try to break the opposing team’s attempt to go Nil, my partner in the game never fails to ignore this and works to wind the hand. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED! Especially when my partner has lower cards to play and the player attempting Nil has the highest card in the hand and if my partner would play under his card we could break the Nil run!!! This drives me nuts as a real partner would see this and work to break the Nil.

Fun, but…. This is fun, but it’s hard when your partner is a computer and you bid nil and you have to underbid one, because partner often over bids. What really keeps this from 5 stars is there is a 3 part ad after each hand! Who enjoys that! If it was just a straight five second ad that you could click after it was over it wouldn’t be so bad. However you have to click three times to get to the next hand and it’s probably 15 seconds or more total.

All Bots. I read a review that raved about the game and how the ads were short and do it was worth downloading. Don’t buy it. It’s between every hand and in between all the levels and they are the type that you have to click on the X over and over again to get back to the game. Then all the players, even your partner are Bots. As you get higher in the ranks the Hans you’re dealt are crap and there is no way you can win. And I’m a pretty decent spades player. Get a game where you can play with real people because this game is so rigged! (Nick name I tried to use, cuz you have to, has been used already - bot hater! Seems I’m not the only one!)

Not what it used to be. I used to LOVE this game. On multi-player, if a team loses, a point is now removed from personal score. This is not fun, especially when I get some partners who make critical mistakes, or the computer doesn’t provide a decent hand (I expect this every now and then, but it is becoming more frequent as my score increased). If I keep losing points at this rate, I will start playing spades elsewhere. Post Note: Your automated response is worthless. Change your app or lose loyal people like me.

Rules. Would like to know the rules for this game. I used to play spades in the military. If you went over 10 extra books you lost 100 points, but I did this to a team today and it just gave them another point. I’m assuming that games only going to 150 is the reason for the nil being only 30 points. Have you considered a blind nil for more points?

Enhance gaming logic. I love spades as it takes strategy to win. I feel the card-dealing logic could use some enhancements. It’s almost as if the cards are dealt in the same order for almost all games. It’s either my team is dealt a good hand or the other team is dealt a good hand. This takes away from the gaming experience and allows the opposing team an easy win. Where’s the appeal in that? Please switch up the cards to allow the strategic mind to flourish in the game!

This game can be better if……. First off this game had me hooked until the pop up ads I didn’t really mind at first, but now my game freezes and I have to close the app and start it over. The first time I didn’t mind but the 4th time it a problem. I’m just trying to play spades but the ads makes it kind of hard to focus because now I’m downloading the other games and not going back to the spades game I was just playing. I’m conflicted it either I play spades or the other games you advertise so much.

Please stop rigging games. The other team consistently gets dealt hands that they can bid 7 or 9 while my "partner" and I get 1,2, maybe 4 tops on 75% of the hands. Plus my partner is a bonehead often destroying my hand with a card instead of waiting to take the opponents hand. It's just not fun. I find it hard to believe that I get bad hands so much, where even if we all make our bids, the points we get are NEVER what the other team gets ON A CONSISTENT BASIS. The only way to win is to deny them points. We never get dealt strong hands. It's frustrating and needs to be fixed.

Disappointed. I have been playing this game for close on 3 years now. I sad to say I’m going to quit because of the adds. I’m sorry but watching full length adds after every hand is not something that I think the game is worth playing for. Return the adds to the way it was before the recent update. I did have it a four stars, now it’s only a two.
